Deven’s Exit Interview also available on YouTube.
Taylor’s Exit Interview also available on YouTube.
Drew’s Exit Interview also available on YouTube.
Big Brother 28 heads into finale territory with some of the season’s biggest moments under the microscope. In this exit interview episode, Rob Cesternino and Taran Armstrong talk with the final three, Rick Devens, Taylor, and Drew, look back on the relationships, alliances, and decisions that defined their journeys in the house.
The discussion dives into some pivotal moves: Devens’ historic win after a string of tough seasons, the pressure and payoff of studying for the final Part 3 competition, and how almost every wrong step could have meant eviction. House tensions ran high as alliances like the Icons doubted their own, especially Drew, who felt loyalty wasn’t always returned. Jury management and whether to own up to big moves become hot topics as Taylor explains her thinking at the end, while Drew debates if trusting certain allies might have cost him a seat in the final two. The episode also covers viral moments and game twists, like the funny chaos caused by coin-related rumors and last-minute vote flips.
- Rick Devens explains how ongoing studying led him to sweep the final Part 3 comp, securing his win.
- Drew discusses the Icons’ mistrust of Drew, despite his efforts to prove loyalty and save alliance members.
- Taylor reflects on why she didn’t highlight her strategic influence more in her jury speech and contemplates how a different final pair might have swayed votes.
- Viral coin chaos gets a laugh, as Drew learns about the internet frenzy around the “Coin of Destiny” twist.
The season closes with questions of trust, game management, and unpredictable turns. Did the finalists make the right partnerships and moves at the crucial moment? Listen in for the full breakdown of how the finale played out and what comes next for this cast.

[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_02] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Cesternino back here for Big Brother 28 Exit Interviews with the Final Three. And today we are talking to the winner of Big Brother 28, Rick Devins. That feels weird to say, the winner of Big Brother 28, Rick Devins. And then we are going to talk with the runner up, Taylor. And then we will talk with the third place finisher, Drew, about his injury.
[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_02] That's a surprising exit from the Big Brother house in that finale. So we'll get into all that. Had a great recap of the finale that's up on YouTube, so be sure to check that out. But look who it is! A few months ago he flipped the coin and made history. I can't believe it. The winner of Big Brother 28! Here he is, Rick Devins!
[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_00] What is up, Rob? It's so good to see you! Hey, Taran!
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_02] Rick, incredible job. 87 days in the Big Brother house and I was so moved towards the end of the season when you talked about what this was like for you after everything you've been through since season 38 of Survivor. What's it like to get the monkey off your back?
[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_00] Dude, it's unbelievable. I'm still processing it right now, honestly. Like, it doesn't seem real. But yeah, dude, I thought I was Sisyphus. I thought I was going to be pushing that rock up the hill and then failing over and over and again. So to actually succeed. And I think it's like a redemption arc. I couldn't make fire fast enough, but the goofy challenge where everyone's dressed old, like I got that done.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_00] And I could finally argue my case before a jury and I always thought I'd be able to do a good job at that. And I felt like it went really well. It's awesome, man.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, one of the things, given that it was like six days of nothing to do, one of the things that I was tracking every day was like, oh man, how much does Devin's know what part three is going to be? How much is he going to study? Because Drew keeps saying it's the old version of part three. Old people version. And not the new version. Right, yeah, yeah. How much do you think studying helped you to win that competition? And when did you feel like you should start studying for it?
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_00] I had kind of been studying all season long just because you have to be ready at any moment. But then after part two of the competition was like, who won veto? Who was reenom? I was like, that's probably not going to be the sort of thing it is. But like you said, we had nothing but time. And I didn't know the dates that we traveled to that well. But I thought, if it's going to be the dates, I need to remember them as best I can. So I just started going through.
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_00] You probably saw it on the live feed. Like I was just reciting from the very beginning every week, everything that happened. And it paid off huge. And yeah, I got all the questions right. I was shocked. But pleasantly so because it turns out, I guess, that neither of them was going to take me to the end. So pretty important comp.
[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_02] So Rick, I don't know how looped in you are on everything from the season yet. But I want to go back to all those times that you were on the block and you went into the blockbuster. Are you aware that had you lost any of those blockbusters, you would have gone home?
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_00] That's what I understand. That's what I understand. And Taran, I don't know if anyone's ever discussed with you. Bad idea to volunteer to be a pawn, it turns out. That might be something you guys want to cover.
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I don't know if anyone's ever put their finger on that. I was hoping maybe because I did write a book about the show. I was hoping maybe that you would have picked that up from maybe talking to Christian. I don't know. Somebody might have been able to pass that along to you. I was pulling my hair out that week.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_00] Dude, I got a lot of great advice from Christian and Aubrey that I did not take. I guess it turned out okay. But that was certainly one of the pieces. I knew it was dumb to do, but I was like, it'll work for me. And thank goodness for that blockbuster. Yeah.
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_03] Speaking of Drew, one of the main storylines through really most of the season, but especially the early portion of the season, was how loyal he was to the icons and how much the icons did not trust him at all for so long. To the point like the start of the season, we were like, oh, the icons are going to push him away with all this distrust because eventually he's going to realize he's going to turn on them. And that never happened.
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_03] But there was this weird like push and pull with Drew all season where you guys just never could figure out how much you could trust him. What was up with that?
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. And I actually trusted him more than any of the other icons, like by far. And it paid off. But it was just that we would talk with him and everything would be good. And he'd immediately run to the backyard and be whispering with Melody and Mallory and Barry. And you're going, what's he whispering to them about? And in my mind, like, do I want to sit next to the icons who are actually winning things and know what they're doing?
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_00] Or do I want to go with this other group who is not winning things and is a little bit bigger group? Like it always just seemed like he had his options open, which is great gameplay. But I'm sitting there going like pick a side, man. And it's so funny because, you know, who we did trust completely? Barrett. Yeah. So it was a big mistake. But even late in the game, like D was still calling him a weasel. And Angela was still like, you're so dumb for trusting Drew.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00] And I'd be going, guys, I think Drew's upset with Barrett, too. And they'd be like, you're so naive. And I was naive about a lot of things. But, like, I loved Drew. And what I did believe about Drew, at least late in the game, is that even if he wasn't with us, he wasn't after me. Yeah. That I wasn't going to be someone that he went for.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02] He was a weasel, but he was your weasel. I didn't even think you.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00] All right. Yeah.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Let's go with that. Of course, the great survivor. But now here you are, a Big Brother winner. And so my question for you is, in your mind, are you a better Big Brother player than you are a Survivor player? And if so, why?
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_00] Dude, I am having an identity crisis. Like, I just became a Survivor legend, according to Rob Has a Podcast. Yes. Yes, I did it. And now I'm objectively better at Big Brother. I think that I must be a better Big Brother player. And I actually think part of it is ironic because I think the thing that made me a standout Survivor player, different than other people, is my outside-the-box thinking.
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_00] Like, oh, I'm going to hide and idle at Tribal. Oh, I'm going to do this crazy thing. And I think I would get so focused on all the different outside-the-box things I could do that maybe I wasn't just working people enough. Like, socializing with people enough. Giving my plan over and over. Like, constantly trying to win people over. Also, you have more time to do that in Big Brother. But in Big Brother, there was nothing better to do. So I'm like, okay, I'm going to pitch this idea to them. They didn't like it.
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00] I don't have any shame. I'm not embarrassed to pitch it again. Again, okay, that didn't go well. I'll wait until tomorrow. Then I'll pitch it again. I'd just do it all weekend. By the end of the week, they'd be like, okay, we're going to do it. That's what we're going to do. And it was just being kind of tenacious and annoying and not being afraid to look stupid to my fellow house guests. But I also wasn't distracted by trying to come up with idols or find another way out because there isn't any. So I don't know.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00] I think maybe I am better at Big Brother on accident.
[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_03] Well, something that we noticed and we had talked about was like, you know, obviously on Survivor, you're used to playing from the bottom. And we were like, well, Rick Devins, he doesn't know how to play when he's in power. And then you were in power and you played very well. And I think one of the key aspects of that, which I think is really like the main selling point of your whole game, which is that like you were never afraid to use that power.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_03] Like, as you mentioned in your speech, every chance you got, you made the bold move. And on Big Brother, that is something that a lot of people worry about. A lot of people get very paralyzed when they have power. They don't want to piss people off. They don't want to make waves. And they end up just like letting it go to waste. And then when they're not in power, they're like, oh, man, I should have done something. And so I think that's one of your biggest strengths here on Big Brother.
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_00] Thank you. I appreciate that. And I realized that in week two when I won HOH and we were able to put together the Toolshed Alliance, I was like, wow, I'm going to piss off three, maybe four people. But I've just made friends with six people. You know, this is huge. If I take a bold move at Rome, I'm making more friends than I'm losing. And also, my biggest fear every time I go on a show is that I'm going to go home without doing anything.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_00] And so I've got to make my mark on the game. And a lot of luck involved every time you play one of these things. But I really appreciate that, Taryn. Thank you.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02] Okay, Rick, last thing. I don't know if you know this yet, but your impact. Okay. Are you aware that in Survivor 51, Jeff has announced that every season of Survivor, somebody will flip the coin?
[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00] Every season they're going to do like the Mr. Beast flip of a coin? Yes, your power.
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_02] In the exact same way? Pretty much. Pretty much the exact same way.
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_03] If it doesn't land on heads, the money keeps accumulating, apparently.
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00] Progressive jackpot. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Rob, when can we? What jackpot gets us back on Survivor?
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_02] Listen, that's what they might need to do to entice you to come back now that you're sitting on this windfall from Big Brother. So congratulations again. You didn't listen to Sari. You went into Big Brother anyway. And to you and Becca and Jack and Juju, congratulations on a job well done, Rick.
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00] Dude, thank you so much. You know I was thinking about you guys while I was in there. Love everything about what you do. Always a supporter. Can't wait. I'm yours whenever you guys want to talk about me. Okay.
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_02] I think Fishback may have gotten an ulcer this summer. He was very stressed. Okay. But, Rick, congratulations. All the best. Get some rest, okay? You got it. Absolutely. Thanks, guys. Bye. Everybody, there you have it. There's Rick Devins, who's having a better 2026 than this guy. And kudos to Rick once again for a job well done. We're going to take a break. We are going to be back here in a moment with the other person on my draft team that I had in the final two.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02] We're going to talk to Taylor when we come back right after this. Okay. We're here with the runner-up of Big Brother 28. Taylor, Taylor, how are you?
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_05] I'm great. I'm awesome. I'm blessed.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. Okay. Well, what a run for you here in Big Brother 28. And at the end of the game, you had this really incredible move where you convinced Rick Devins to throw away his adopted son at the 11th hour. I think a lot of fans were wondering, why didn't you talk about this more to the jury that you made this great move?
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_05] And I wish I did. But the question that was asked was, what was the biggest influential move you did in the game? And that was definitely influential. But I felt like with Devins kind of already saying it in that part when he went ahead and evicted Drew out of the house.
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_05] And then the question being what was influential in my brain is like, what changed the trajectory? And hey, I've been saying it's news to me that I did not orchestrate the lyric and melody swap. It's news to me because I was actively speaking about it, talking about it. So I guess it was going to be a secret flip that nobody just was talking about.
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_05] I was just the one walking around getting the votes and people was just like, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I guess that's why it was just more like a yeah, yeah, yeah, because it was probably already a thing. So it's all about perspective, people.
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Well, what was interesting about that flip is that Dee and Angela, as you know, they lied about their vote. The reason they thought they would be able to get away with it is that you and Lala weren't supposed to be on that vote. Right. So they were going to claim to be your votes. But then you both flipped as well. And it was way harder for them to lie about it. But they did still blame you for the flip to try to get heat off of themselves.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_03] And and then also when you had told Devin's that that you had planned to talk about the lyric flip at the final four. Yeah. He told the D to go to the jury and make sure they knew it wasn't true. Yeah. See.
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_05] So, hey, y'all. Now you guys know that I didn't know I wasn't part. I was supposed to be a part of the vote flip. And so I thought that me being a spokesperson of the vote flip was my move. It wasn't. Now we know.
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_02] OK. So safe to assume you would have evicted Devin's, correct? If you had won that the final three HOH.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_04] Absolutely, Rob.
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_02] So. All right. Tell me. How do you feel like you would have done against Drew in the final two?
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_05] I feel like it would have been easier for me to get those jury votes, especially after making such a big move and voting out Devin's if I was to do so. I would just rely on the idea that I played an honest, loyal, you know what I'm saying, cleaner game. Whereas, you know, he played more of a active, messy, chaotic game.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_05] And so unless he planned on owning his wolf, which is what I told him if he was sitting next to Devin's, I still think he jeopardized so many people's game that were sitting on the jury as to why they were sitting on a jury. They might have gave it to me. I definitely would have had Yash. Not too sure on Melody and Barrett.
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_05] But it might have been easier for me to get Angela in. We just don't know. But from my perspective of what people were saying and saying about me throughout the season, how they were feeling about my game play throughout the season. I just knew that no matter who I sat next to, I was probably going to take second. I just wanted to make sure I left with something.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_03] Well, you did very well at that. I was convincing Devin's. Have you talked to Barrett or Melody or Angela about how they might have voted if it were you and Drew?
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_05] Oh, no, I haven't. Honestly, because at this point, like you're saying prior to or now.
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_03] Now, now, like now.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_05] No, I haven't yet, but I don't think I will because I refuse to kill myself or run this marathon of what ifs. I played my game. I am proud of what I've been, what I've represented and who I've been regardless. So once again, I'm grateful and I'm blessed to just be a part of it and to still take runner up.
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor, you had a lot of good reads of the people in the house, but a lot of times just didn't have the power to be able to change what was going on. How frustrating was that for you?
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_05] It was extremely frustrating. And I think that was one of the main reasons why I was so reserved, why I kind of just resulted to my pod, why I kind of just retracted myself. It felt like I would try to do a lot, be in alliances or wanted to be a part of alliances and nobody wanted to work with me. Or, you know, I would see things and hear things.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_05] But if you say anything, only one person needs to hear it to run it back and just misconstrued. So I just used the things that I was seeing and I was hearing to my advantage. I'm not going to say I played a solo game, but I played an individual game where I just aligned myself with people individually. And that just worked best for me.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_02] Hey, I'm a big pod guy too, okay?
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_05] Yes.
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_02] We have that in common.
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah, I just felt like I was counted out so soon, you know. I wasn't picking the litter, you know what I'm saying? I just wasn't, I didn't feel seen, I didn't feel heard. And so I just kind of did what worked for me.
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, one of the things we were paying attention to a lot in these last like six days, because you had so much time before the finale, was all the studying that you guys were doing for part three. And obviously for a while, like Drew thought the competition was something different and kept like, you just kept having these like funny interactions where he was saying it was one thing and you were like, I don't think that's. But we're very curious, like how much did the studying help?
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_03] And what do you feel like happened in part three that cost you that comp?
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_05] I literally think I psyched myself out twice because both times I had the right answer. But I don't know, maybe I'm not remembering previous years of the final, but I don't know if it was a, I feel like, correct me if I'm wrong.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_05] Do you guys remember if, because I haven't been out, I don't, you forget your favorite food place being in the house for so long. But usually is it, are you picking what is true or you're picking what's false in those other seasons?
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, that's a good question. I'm pretty sure it's false, but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head.
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_05] Well, anyway.
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_03] Even Tara doesn't remember.
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. Like, I feel like I would pick up what was false because I would, okay. Oh yeah, that's false. B. Pick up false, but I felt like my brain kept tricking me into picking you're supposed to pick. You know what I'm saying?
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. You're like, oh, but this is, you wanted to pick the true answer. Yeah.
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah, I think my brain was just like, I'm just so real. I don't know what's false, what's fake. You know what I'm saying? So I just, I psyched myself out. That's literally what I did both times. I psyched myself out.
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. Tell her last thing before you have to go. You threatened Rick Devins and said, hey, if you evict me, I'm going to go to the jury. I'm not going to vote for you. I'm going to get Lala to not vote for you also. Was that a real threat? Would you have gone through with that?
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_05] Honestly, I might not have had to, but for future references, if I play another game, just know I'm not bluffing. Put it out there. Because y'all won't think I'm bluffing. So now that y'all know that I was possibly bluffing, just know I'm not bluffing no more.
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_02] Not next time. Okay.
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_05] Not next time. And that's on me.
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Job well done. Congrats on the 75K and all the best outside the house. Okay.
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_05] Thank you so much. You guys have a good night.
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Bye.
[00:20:29] Bye.
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02] Everybody, there you have it. There's Taylor, 75K for a couple of months work. Not too shabby if you can get it. So congratulations to Taylor making it all the way to the final two. We're going to take one more break and then we're going to come back with the guy who there was so much talk about all season long. We're going to talk to Drew when we come back right after this. Drew. Drew. You're here. Rob. Taryn.
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_01] What's going on, guys? I watched the podcast of last season to prepare to go into this. My friend JT told me to do it. I learned a lot. Seemed like it worked out for me. I got third. And this book, Killer, got me through sequester. Great job, Taryn. I shouted you out multiple times on live feeds. Maybe you saw. It might be your job during the summer. Who knows?
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_03] There you go. Might have. Might have seen it.
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. Drew, nice to talk to you. Congrats on making it all the way to finale night. Tell us, okay, would you have evicted Rick Devins if you won part three of the final HOH? Was that the vision?
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_01] Would I have evicted? Absolutely, I would have evicted him. There's no way I could beat the guy. He played such an amazing game. Honestly, if I sat next to Taylor, I could see myself winning. But yeah, in a heartbeat. It would have sucked. My heart would have broken the same way it broke when he got rid of me. I think I'd rather be on the other side of it, though.
[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_03] Yes. We watched these last few days of preparation for part three. You seem to be under the assumption that the competition was going to be the old version of part three, where they ask about jury statements rather than facts about the jury. I assume that wasn't on purpose to sabotage Devins. That was a theory a little bit.
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01] Should I claim that it was so I look really smart? No, I'm just a huge fan of the show. I love the old seasons. I think I just watched, right before I came in, I watched season eight and season 10. So I think that's where I got the idea.
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. Yeah. Drew, I want to go back to the events from eight days ago. You were the veto at the final four. You had all the power. You got to decide D versus Devins. It seemed like that you were leaning towards evicting Devins. You ultimately go back to D. Would you take a mulligan on that? Would you do it the same way again?
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_01] I think I would. Only for the fact that for most of the week, both of the finalists were going to take me. Taylor made a great move at the end and it earned her second place. So stellar move on Taylor's part. I could see a world where I kept D and I probably would have won at least one of those parts. I think part two, because I don't know how well D knew the game. And I think I've been able to clutch that one.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01] But I think I would have been the person to get rid of for both D and Taylor, because I think their odds next to each other would be better against me, especially having the Devins kill on my resume.
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, we were. Oh, go ahead. No, that was it. We were watching you at the final four and people were not sure what you were going to do for a while. It seemed like you might have been leaning in the direction of cutting Devins. But then sort of the morning of it felt like things flipped in another direction. Were you always set on your decision to keep Devins or had it gone back and forth?
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01] I went back and forth. There was a moment Devins was going to leave. There was a moment D was going to leave. I was just assessing both options. And what really decided it was what I just told you was that. But also, I went to D and said, hey, would you be okay throwing the first comp? And she gave me a really weird answer. And it's because D is a really good player. And that was not a good deal on her part, I think. Also, it was mostly to see, does D want to work with me?
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_01] And when she said, no, I'm going to pretend like you never asked me that. I was like, okay, D is not a team player. She hasn't been on my team probably most of the season. When I asked Devins, Devins is smart, said yes. I do think he would have thrown it. I think I just flopped on that first part. It's tough.
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Drew, are you aware that you had all of the internet in a blender at one point this summer when everybody had a mass psychosis event, when they convinced themselves you got the coin of destiny and you were about to do a coup d'etat on Haley's HOH and everybody thought you had the coin and you were about to overthrow it. And then they thought that you weren't using it. Are you aware of this yet?
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_01] No, no. I heard a little bit of it and I was really confused because I started talking about a lucky coin, mostly because I wanted to go into the eviction booth and just flip one and vote whatever way it landed because I'm an idiot and I love to be chaotic. But I love that everyone was mad at me for having a power I didn't have. But I had the never not pass, the most powerful power in the history of Big Brother. So I guess they were right.
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_02] But this wasn't even the week that you had a power. That D went into the booth and we didn't know that it was D who had the power. Everybody thought that you were acting sus and that you had the power. And for basically for 48 hours, everybody was expecting you to change the nominations and it didn't happen.
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_01] That is so amazing. I'm glad that I even confused viewers and live viewers because I think I confused a lot of people in that house too, the way I played. It's just part of my chaotic nature.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01] Do I wish I had that? Absolutely. I wish I had the coin of destiny. That would be killer.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Well, the coin for me became such a thematic element, both in your game and the season as a whole, because, you know, you often talked about how you'd rather be lucky than good. And there were so many instances where it felt like that was true of so many players in the season. One of them, of course, being when you were on the block against Mallory and Taylor, I
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_03] think it was Taylor, where you essentially flipped a coin between two options during the blockbuster. And had you guessed wrong, that was it. Barrett was flipping on you. Yeah. So first of all, walk me through that a little bit. But also the question I have is we had said at the time, like, why is Barrett voting him out over even Taylor when surely if Barrett just approached Drew about flipping on the icons,
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03] Drew would be down at this point. Oh, yeah. But instead, he's just doing it solo and wanting to vote Drew out. So was that true?
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_01] Would I have? Sorry. What was the?
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_03] Would you flip with Barrett if he had approached you?
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_01] I don't really know. I kind of got a weird vibe from Barrett at points in this game where I felt like he wasn't with me. I don't know why he decided that I was the villain in some of these cases. Would have I flipped on the icons? I would have been down, I think. Mostly because I don't feel like the icons had my back as much as I thought they did. Especially Dee and Angela.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_01] I think Devin's was kind of with me, but not 100%. But I don't think Barrett was with me. Sometimes I feel like Mallory and Melody weren't with me. I kind of felt like I was a party of one in that house sometimes. And I don't know if I really answered your question. I probably would have considered it.
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Drew, we've seen so many clips of you on different things over the course of the summer. It's amazing how many things that you have already been on. What are you going to do next after Big Brother?
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01] Dude, I would love to do another season of Big Brother. If they told me, Drew, there's a fall season happening, season 29. Your bags are already in there. Are you ready to go? I'd be like, sign me up. Who are the other 16 people? Would I love to do Survivor? Absolutely. I know we don't get a lot of Big Brother players going over there. I would love to do the challenge. I think that's a really fun show. Maybe I'd try my luck and be like Rob and go on the traders. What? I'm a weasel.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_01] You never know. Yeah. I'm kind of open. That might be a bad show.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_02] Your name would come up a lot, I think. Yeah.
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01] I don't think I'd last very long. Yeah. But I'm open to anything. I love reality TV. I grew up watching it. I'm a huge fan of most of the shows. So if anyone wants to hit my line, I'll probably say yeah. I'm easy.
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_02] We loved you on Wonka, by the way.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_01] Dude, I felt like I crushed it. Did you see the way it opened up that bar? Yeah. It was great. It was great. I was like, no.
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_03] Well, speaking of people not trusting you, I don't know how much you've been told yet, but really part of the main story of the first four, five, six weeks of the season was just how much from get-go Angela and Dee were so distrustful of you. Like so early on to the point where we were like, they're going to blow up their own alliance.
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_03] Drew, this loyal guy to them, they're so suspicious of, they're going to turn him away from them. Of course, it led to them convincing Haley to nominate you. Yeah. And they planned to evict you like most of that week. They changed their minds like at the last minute. Like that morning. Well, I think Dee had changed her mind the night before and then the morning of, she also was like, well, if we're saving Drew, we might as well also save Melody.
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_01] Which is kind of a weird play. I felt like it would be smarter to get rid of Melody because then Drew wouldn't have an outlet. But I'm glad they did what they did. Yes. Yeah. So fun. I love that they didn't trust me. It really made me play every single minute of this game because all I did was try to prove to them that I was working with them. And it never seemed to work.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_01] I think Angela's paranoia got the better of her because I would have rocked so hard with them if they trusted me. I still did. Which is weird. You know, I saved all three icons at one point. I did Angela's safety stone. I saved Dee during the double. And I brought Devin's the final three. Like, I am the savior of the icons. And they still didn't trust me.
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I mean, you brought them information at so many different points. And they'd be like, this guy thinks he can trick us.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_01] What a rat. Yeah. I'm a little confused on why they were so suspicious of me. But also, I was playing the middle. You know what I mean? You can't play in the middle hard.
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. All right. Well, Drew, I know you got to run. Hair is on point. So congratulations on that. And all the best outside the house. Okay?
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_01] Dude, thank you so much. Huge fans of both of you. So killer. I would love to talk for them.
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. We got that. We get that.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. That's your vibe. All right. Thanks, Drew. Okay. All right. Thank you, guys. All right, everybody. There you have it. The final three from Big Brother 28. I know a lot of people were worried about Drew last night. Like, oh, he's not going to be okay. He seems fine to me. He's a very resilient guy. He's going to bounce back. And he's going to be on a million more things. So nobody needs to worry about Drew. He's going to be just fine.
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_02] Thank you all so much for listening to our exit interviews here today and watching them on YouTube. I had so much fun getting to cover this season. It's been such a fun ride. I talked about it in the podcast, but again, what an incredible job by Taryn and the whole RHAP team. It really is such an endeavor for us to cover this show week in, week out for, what is it, 12, 13 weeks of the summer.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_02] And there it's you really do much like the people on the live feeds. You sort of have to like really you are very much putting your thoughts out there, sometimes raw. And there's a lot of opinions on, you know, when we're doing a good job and not. But I just really thank everybody who came along with us on this ride. I hope it was fun. Hope it was fun for you.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_02] And we'll be back to do it all again next summer. But in the meantime, so much Survivor going on. And I got a great interview coming up today with Savannah talking about everything from the very fun start to Survivor 51. So be sure to check that out. And thank you all so much for joining us. Take care, everybody. Have a good one. Bye.
