BBCAN12 | Exit Interview with the Seventh Player Voted Out

Big Brother Canada is back for season 12! Today, Taran Armstrong interviews the seventh player voted out of Big Brother Canada 12.

[00:00:00] .

[00:00:31] .

[00:00:46] Hello.

[00:00:47] Hello, Kayla. How you doing?

[00:00:49] I'm good, thanks. A lot better.

[00:00:51] All right.

[00:00:53] What is your philosophy for casting your jury vote?

[00:00:57] Um, I want to make sure that people's during the Q&A that people's answers match the game they were actually playing in the house.

[00:01:09] I think if I want to make sure that you're not just telling me what I want to hear, but that actually coincides with with your game in the actual house and what I witnessed.

[00:01:20] When you're casting your vote, are you going to value loyalty more or gameplay more?

[00:01:26] Um, I think I'm going to in terms of their game loyalty because that was a big portion of my game and what I wanted to see as somebody that won.

[00:01:42] You can't go through this game by yourself. So I think I think for me it's going to be loyalty.

[00:01:48] Okay.

[00:01:49] Can you give me like a rough ranking of the remaining players in order of who you think you'd be most likely to vote for?

[00:01:56] You'd be least likely to vote for maybe like a reason as to why you've placed them there.

[00:02:01] Um, I think I would.

[00:02:06] I'm really vouching for Avery to win despite what had happened.

[00:02:11] I think she's she's just been the number one person that's always been in the same mindset as me.

[00:02:18] Like we always connect. We always have the same thoughts.

[00:02:21] So I know her thought process and how she makes decisions.

[00:02:25] Even if I don't always agree with it, but I'm really about you for her to win.

[00:02:30] I think second would second and third flip flopping between spicy and Bailey actually because spicy I think is just playing a fantastic social game.

[00:02:43] And I think Bailey, especially that last conversation that we had together where I was very upfront with you know, yeah, I did.

[00:02:53] I did entertain a backdoor plan for you.

[00:02:56] This is why she was very receptive as to understanding why that happened and empathetic to how I felt.

[00:03:05] And even after the fact, she was always she never alienated me.

[00:03:09] She was never angry with me and I really respected that about her.

[00:03:13] So I'm actually also about to for her to win.

[00:03:17] I think Anthony then played is playing a very fantastic game.

[00:03:23] He's able to make or contribute to decisions where he never actually had to put any of the blood on his hands.

[00:03:31] And I think a lot of things were done to protect him, which you know, I can see the good and the bad with that.

[00:03:38] But for the sake of the game play, I think that's a really good position that he's put himself in.

[00:03:45] And then I would say Lexis because again, I think she put herself in a good position in the house working with the girls to a certain extent as well as working with Matt and Tola and Anthony on that side.

[00:04:00] And then Tola, I think I would put next because he was a target from week one and some he's been on the block multiple times and somehow.

[00:04:12] Somehow I'm sitting here still. He's still in the game.

[00:04:16] So he hasn't been somebody to have to lie and sneak make sneaky moves to advance.

[00:04:25] I appreciate that about him.

[00:04:27] And then I probably put Todd last just because I feel like he had a bit of a late start and I think that his relationship with Bailey and Donna was the reason why he stuck around for as long as he did.

[00:04:40] I just don't think that he made as many.

[00:04:43] I don't think that he contributed to too much where I want him to win that bad.

[00:04:48] What's the biggest thing that could change your mind about your vote that order?

[00:04:54] I think it'll depend on who walks through the doors and in the next couple of weeks.

[00:05:02] And I want to understand why certain things happened.

[00:05:07] Even, you know, I'm sure when Goose walked into the house, he was super confused and I came in and sort of filled a few holes as to why things happened.

[00:05:15] So I think as the weeks go on and more people come into the house, they'll be also they'll also be able to fill some questions and some holes that I still have in my storyline in my head.

[00:05:26] So I think that could also contribute to my vote and figuring out who really had more to say and decisions than others.

[00:05:35] Who are you most upset at in the game?

[00:05:38] I'm most upset at Avery and Spicy, I think because I was with them every single day.

[00:05:48] You know, we were kind of like this this trio and I think I was disappointed in the fact that they both believed what was said about me and what I had said about them.

[00:06:02] There was some truth to that, which I very openly admitted to.

[00:06:07] But there was things that wouldn't even have made sense for me to say.

[00:06:11] So I'm still a little bit confused as to how they could have even believed some of the things like me being concerned about competition wins and anything like that.

[00:06:21] So I think I think the amount of loyalty and trust that I showed them.

[00:06:27] I just wish that I got that back when it came down to it.

[00:06:31] Was it the right move to send you out this week?

[00:06:34] For the sake of hot chocolate, I don't think so.

[00:06:38] I think I really was, you know, we were we were dividing and conquering.

[00:06:42] So there was me, Spicy and Avery working with the girls and on that side.

[00:06:47] And then Lexis and Anthony were working with Matt and Tola.

[00:06:53] And I think I think sometimes we got caught up in those fake alliances, even if they were fake.

[00:06:59] I'm not even sure now that they really started to manifest.

[00:07:03] And I always was try I tried to be that glue to always bring both sides back together and be like, remember what we're doing here?

[00:07:10] Remember, you know why things are happening?

[00:07:13] Like, remember the goal. Remember the plan.

[00:07:16] I tried to be that person. And now that I'm gone, I think things are really going to crumble, unfortunately.

[00:07:22] And I think they're really going to stick to now Spicy, Avery, Bailey and Todd and then Lexis, Anthony and Tola on the other side.

[00:07:32] What are your biggest regrets in the game?

[00:07:36] I would say I wish that I had kept more to myself, especially things like the goose.

[00:07:44] What Goose had said to me before he left about about Spicy.

[00:07:50] I think that I should have just not said anything to anybody and kept that to myself because it wasn't even thinking about and reflecting.

[00:07:58] It wasn't something that I was concerned about right then and there.

[00:08:01] So why did I feel the need to talk about it?

[00:08:04] Maybe in the back of my mind, I did have an unconscious thought down the line.

[00:08:09] This would have been a problem, but we still had three people to get out of the house before you got to that point.

[00:08:15] So I wish that I didn't. I wish that I thought more about what I was going to say and the repercussions of that before I said anything.

[00:08:21] Who were you hoping to bring to the final two if given the chance?

[00:08:25] I think I would have stood the best chance with Avery.

[00:08:31] I think even within Hot Chocolate, I created what I thought was a good relationship with everybody or at least majority, even with the people outside of Hot Chocolate.

[00:08:43] I think also why I went down was because I was creating relationships with Tola and trying to go outside of our group.

[00:08:51] So I think when it came down to jury votes, I would have had a better chance against Avery, I believe, than Spicy or Anthony or even Lexis.

[00:09:03] Who do you think is the best player in the game?

[00:09:08] I think right now, Anthony is playing a really good game.

[00:09:13] He's been... I don't know if he's been the orchestrator, but he's had a lot of say in each week's decision and how things happened without having to get any of the direct blood on his hands.

[00:09:29] And I think he created enough relationships in the house where nobody wanted to make that move on him.

[00:09:35] I don't know if it was out of fear or whatever the case, but nobody wanted to make that move on him.

[00:09:41] And he didn't touch the block and he still hasn't touched the block.

[00:09:45] So I think that's a great game. Good for you.

[00:09:50] How are you hoping the rest of the game plays out?

[00:09:54] Well, and because of the fact that I didn't blow up Hot Chocolate, I hope that they can still find it within them to come together and still...

[00:10:05] get the job done.

[00:10:07] That would be a best case scenario, but...

[00:10:11] selfishly, part of me is like, you know, if one of them does walk into the jury house, I will be very quick to be like,

[00:10:18] I told you, you shouldn't have got rid of me.

[00:10:23] All right. Well, thank you so much, Kayla.

[00:10:25] Well, thank you so much. Have a great day.

[00:10:28] Have a great day.
