[00:00:16] [SPEAKER_08]: An interesting one to get into here today on a Friday here with Taren Armstrong. Taren, how are you?

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm doing well. You know, we had a short update this morning.

[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Short update? I actually didn't listen.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_12]: Well, Rob, you missed out.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_12]: First one I've missed.

[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_12]: Listen, you gotta, yeah, you don't wanna miss one.

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I don't wanna screw my streak up. It'll be an easy one to fix.

[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_12]: Exactly.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_08]: But yeah, feeds are back. We have some news.

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_08]: We got some news. Okay, so yeah, so I thought that what we could do is that we do this every week for the patrons.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_08]: I said to the team earlier today, I said, you know, let's do a, we'll do a feed drop here.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_08]: So for everybody who's a subscriber to the podcast feed, this one, check out what we have going on here on the BB Q&A.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a perk for being a patron. The patrons get the link to call in.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Survivor Q&A starts next week. Next Friday in this spot.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll be doing Survivor Q&A with the patrons. Taren and I will be back on Saturday after the update next week.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_08]: So great time to get in.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Rob's website dot com slash patron for these Q&A shows that they're a lot of fun.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Plus one of the many perks you get in our patron podcast feed, including the slop, which will be back on Monday night.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_08]: The mess magnets join us.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_08]: It'll be an extra sloppy messy episode of the slop coming up on Monday night before we get into the Survivor draft.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_08]: And then tonight we've got an event.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_08]: It is open to all for the summit.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Taren and I and Chappelle will be watching the premiere.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_08]: We got a sneak peek of a brand new show, The Summit.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_08]: I haven't seen it yet.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_08]: We're going to watch it with our VIPs and we are going to be giving away an assortment of Survivor prizes.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Sam, can you bring up? Can you bring up the board of prizes?

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Are we able to do that? Let me know that I might.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Hold on. Give me one second.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_08]: He says, all right, so we will do that.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Taren. Now I woke up this morning.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_08]: I looked at the feeds.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_08]: So what? What is this?

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_08]: The Big Brother song.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Why are they cutting the feeds in the middle of the night?

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_08]: It doesn't make any sense.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I said, oh, no.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_08]: Did I say let me check Twitter.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm like, did the feeds not come back the whole night?

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_08]: What has happened?

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_08]: And I don't know if anybody had theorized that we had another Dire Fest.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Fan favorite twist.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's bring it back.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Bring it back. Bring it back.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, all right. Here's yeah, here's some of the prizes we've got for tonight.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, for giving away all these prizes for people who are watching the summit with us.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Robbinswebsite.com.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Summit VIP that's going to be at 6 p.m. Eastern 3 p.m. Pacific.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_08]: So be on the lookout for that.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Taren, I thought that people said Jerry O'Connell broke the feeds.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_08]: The one theory I didn't see.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Did anybody look at the calendar?

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_08]: It's Friday the 13th.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_12]: You're saying Jason. Jason Voorhees.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, Jason. Jason Guy took out the feeds.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_08]: So yeah, unlucky day for the feeds.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_08]: But then I was like I started to hear talking all of a sudden and I said,

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_08]: oh, well, like, OK, it looks like Leah's carrying a big laundry basket around outside for some reason.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_08]: And it looks like they're at some carnival.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_08]: And lo and behold, we have a new HOH and it's Leah.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Taren, what what have you been able to piece together at this hour?

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_12]: Not too much so far.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_12]: So basically it sounds like there was a very long kind of endurance

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_12]: HOH competition that took place last night.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_12]: They decided to hide from us on the feeds that resulted in Leah winning,

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_12]: which would have been very excited to watch.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_12]: They've also stuck them outside where they must seemingly stay.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_12]: Not entirely sure for how long, but it sounds like it might be all week.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah. Now, why do you think they cut the feeds?

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_08]: My theory was that during the last Dyerfest, we had issues with the wall yellers

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_08]: and that if they cut the feeds then make them go outside,

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_08]: then is it where was it like the competition?

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Did the competition happen all night where it's like that if they if the wall yellers show up,

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_08]: they have some sort of like soundproof booth or like they blast the music really loud, right?

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_08]: If the wall yellers are there.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I mean they have various tactics.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_12]: I think they just took any opportunity to not have to show things on the feeds.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_08]: But they put the whole pressure cooker on the feeds last year.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_08]: I can't imagine that.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that the issue is like the that if they're in some sort of endurance comp,

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_08]: they can't just like nuke the audio if they need to.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Like I've just put on like white noise to drown out a wall yeller

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_08]: and they don't want to give people the chance to know,

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_08]: hey if I go to the house right now with my megaphone,

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_08]: I could say like Quinn was the best or like T-Core is working with chemo.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, whatever they're going to like yell over the wall.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_08]: I think they're trying to prevent that.

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_08]: But do we know who the AI assistant is?

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_08]: The AI assistant?

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_08]: She said that Ainsley left and said I have to leave and my assistant is I'm going to go see the world.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_08]: It's very exciting for Ainsley.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_12]: And I'm leaving my assistant in charge.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_12]: Very exciting for Ainsley, very dangerous for us.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's be real.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, and they said I need to go,

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_08]: my assistant is going to take over and will be visiting the house guest all week.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Janky is the assistant I guess.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Janky.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_12]: To be the answer, yes.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_08]: And it is no relation to Janky Grande?

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_12]: You know that was my first thought.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_12]: We'll see.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_12]: There might be a Frankie cameo at some point.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean we are in the post Reindeer Games era.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_08]: So definitely they have them on speed dial.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_08]: So we'll see.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's take some calls.

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's say hello to Olivia.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Olivia.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you?

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Hello.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Good about you.

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we're doing great.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, feeds are back up ready to go.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_05]: I saw that.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I went in this morning to see who the HOH was on Reddit.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_05]: That's how I usually do it because I'm on the East Coast.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_09]: Sure.

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_05]: I was disappointed to still see the TBD.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_05]: And then I was just wondering like what kind of competition could they have possibly done?

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it looks kind of circus themed and there were some ducks, right?

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, Tyrant.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_12]: Do you know what the comp was?

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_12]: There's some speculation that there was some kind of endurance where they were standing on a thing.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_12]: I've heard like maybe marshmallows or some kind of weird thing.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_12]: They might have had to stand on one leg.

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_12]: They might have had to stand in a weird way.

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_12]: Like we're not entirely sure at this point.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think that the new HOH is team fun feeds hopefully unless she pulls a Quinn or something.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_08]: So yeah.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, this was the one person here that really was we had like was a wild card of okay somebody who wasn't in one of the trios who wasn't Angela and you know interesting.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_08]: I just wish Quinn wasn't in jury.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_08]: He'll be so excited to find out.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and I'm Taryn by the way, I enjoyed your five-minute update your cat.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_05]: I love your cat.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_05]: My dog is right there.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_07]: The dog shout out dogs at the crib.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Dogs at the crib right there.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah that were dogs hitting the small one, but they're best friends.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_08]: So thank you.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that is good.

[00:08:46] Okay.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Anything else going on Olivia?

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, I was in New York last weekend visiting my sister and I ran into Maggie on the subway.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_05]: Maggie Morgan?

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I didn't get to see her because the second I realized it was her we had to get out on our stop.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, I was just like invisible there but yeah.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I don't know if Maggie listens to this podcast but that shout out to Maggie in the subway.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_05]: Shout out to Maggie in the subway.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_05]: So hopefully I'll get to go to the Houston one because I won't be able to go back to New York.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_08]: But okay.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, we haven't put the tickets on sale yet, but we will be doing a live show in Houston December 4th is the is the date and we'll be sending out patrons the link for tickets very soon.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Take care of Olivia.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Bye.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, let's say hello to Jacob.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey Jacob, how are you?

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Hey guys, I'm great.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_06]: How are y'all holding up?

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm doing okay.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_12]: How are you holding up Taren?

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm doing well, you know, I this might be a bit of a marathon week because I'm already tired of the plane noises.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm tired of them over my own head but it's even worse when they're when it's on the feeds and you're trying to listen to people whisper because there's no space to talk and you're hearing planes.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_12]: I have bad memories of Dire Fest.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_06]: You know what though?

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_06]: I'll take it over ramen slurping.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, can Kimo get any ramen outside?

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_12]: I assume so to be honest.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Isn't their food restricted?

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_12]: Maybe who knows.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_12]: I saw it said that they can only eat pizza and ice cream.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_12]: Oh, you know what?

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_12]: I did see that.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, only eat pizza and ice cream.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_12]: We'll see.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we'll see.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Is it like disgusting ice cream?

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Wasn't bad.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Survivor pizza.

[00:10:44] I didn't see the label.

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, Jacob.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_06]: So what's going on?

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_06]: I've got a couple of questions for you guys.

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_06]: But at the top of my mind is the fact that we're at the final eight and we've got six women still in the game which correct me if I'm wrong is a record.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's really exciting to see for one.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_06]: We love breaking trends in this household.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_06]: And is there any takeaway that we should be observing from like this season?

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_06]: How it's set up?

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Who is in it?

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Anything like that for like future seasons?

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure that Taryn will give you a very thoughtful answer.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_08]: But let me just say that I'll shoot from the hip here and say that in this season, most of the women and I'll say maybe with the I'll put Angela to the side that this was a house where the women were probably

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_08]: more like conscientious players who were like thinking about what they were doing and the men maybe say for Cam were all there to make television.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Women were there to win.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_08]: The men were there to be on TV.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I think that's part of that is fair.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_12]: I will say Big Brother 13, I believe did have six women in the final eight.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_12]: So we are we're close.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_12]: We were approaching if chemo or cam leaves this week, they will truly have set a record.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_12]: But I mean, honestly, I think a huge part of it is just, you know, women are winning more comps this season than they usually do.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I think that's the basic answer.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_12]: And I think it's it's the most correct one, especially like like women are winning more comps and they're winning more comps in an environment where men tend to have won.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_12]: Way more comps and therefore men are still being targeted, even though women are winning more comps.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_12]: And so we're seeing a bit of a lopsided results.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_06]: I think I think there's also a lot of willingness from a lot of the men to play with a lot of women as allies that we had one bro down alliance at the start that got blown up immediately, which was hilarious.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_06]: And the opposite of the usual like all female alliance that happens that immediately gets exposed.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_06]: So maybe I don't know.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like there's maybe a little bit of credit that can be given to cam chemo and Quinn, but not to take away from the women's success.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_08]: How about this? Is it more of a thing that is more likely that a male player would do to say put me on the block as a pawn?

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_08]: I got this.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll go on the block.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm not worried.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_08]: I think we've seen no women say that they're OK with this this season, right?

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, Angela is like kind of she's given.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_12]: She doesn't mean it.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, not in the same way for sure.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, even like historically, I like part of that is this environment of like men feeling like, well, I'll be able to win the comp.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_12]: But then they're not.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I off the top of my head, I can't even think of a woman who's done like put me on the block.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll go up as a pawn.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure there have been.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_08]: But it feels like that like the historical evidence, I feel like is leaning much more towards like that is a thing that men will tend to do more.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm sure that men are more likely to volunteer without any prompting.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. The women this year feel locked in and the men kind of feel like a bunch of jokers.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_06]: And I love to see it.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_06]: It's very entertaining.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_08]: The shout out Frenchie all the jokers.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_08]: OK.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Aaron says Rubina said put her on the block.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_08]: True.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_08]: And then Steven says Oz volunteer to go on the block.

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, it happens.

[00:14:41] Mm hmm.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_08]: OK.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, Jacob, anything else going on?

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'll let you all go because I'm sure you have a lot of other people.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Just one last thing.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to see Kristin Chenoweth and Alan coming tonight outside of D.C.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm very excited for it.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Is there anything that I should yell at Alan regarding the traders or anything else?

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, boy.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, yeah.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if you if you get a chance to ask him a one on one.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_08]: This is a little bit of a renapse spoiler.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_08]: But if he can find out why Juliana Margulies and another actress from The Good Wife didn't talk to each other, that would be a helpful answer to now.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, I'll try to remember.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_08]: You look you ask, Jacob.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, it just happened to be on a day when he came up on another podcast about how if anybody goes on the traders, that was the question we find out from him.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_08]: And he's the only person who's willing to spill that tea.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_06]: I hope I get the chance.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe he'll notice me in the crowd.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_06]: OK. All right, Jacob.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you so much.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_06]: OK.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. Thanks a lot. Great seeing you.

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Take care. Bye.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, let's say hello to Mike is back.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey, Mike, how are you?

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm doing pretty good.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you doing?

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Doing good.

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, Mike, Mike F and white.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_08]: That's right.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_13]: Rob, if someone makes a shirt with your name on it, you got to buy it.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_08]: You got to buy it.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_08]: But is that a Dolphins jersey behind you?

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_13]: No, it's actually a Panthers jersey.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_13]: Panthers.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_13]: OK, got it.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_13]: Got it.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_13]: All right.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_13]: So, as you know, I'm definitely not the only Mike White that's out there.

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_08]: I know.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_08]: There's I've heard there's others, too.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes. OK.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_08]: So, Mike, what's happening?

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, just trying to see what's going on with this dire fest style outdoor activity.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_13]: A little bit interesting.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_13]: Trying to see how this is going to go this week.

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Are the house gets miserable, Taron, or are they having fun?

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_12]: Oh, they are miserable.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_12]: OK.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_12]: Yes.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Because I've seen them like I walk past the computer and I see them going in the pool.

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm like, oh, maybe this is maybe they're having fun.

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_12]: No, they're they're just.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_12]: This is them right now.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Mm hmm.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_08]: OK.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_08]: So, and in the chat says they're getting the house ready for the A.I.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_08]: assistant.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_08]: What do you think of that?

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Are they doing something into the house inside?

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_13]: Who knows?

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Who knows?

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_13]: OK, they have my question.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_13]: Are they are they stuck out here all week or then go inside sometime?

[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_13]: Hopefully.

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_12]: I hope they let them in at some point, but they're definitely out there for a decent

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_12]: amount of time right now.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, the bathrooms are out there like they're all there's a whole setup for them

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_12]: to be living out there.

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_09]: So, mm hmm.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Mike.

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_08]: So what's happening?

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_13]: Yes, I had a question for you all with Survivor coming up and kind of seeing their

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_13]: model how pretty much all those people know the game.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_13]: I'm curious your opinion on what's the right mix in Big Brother?

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_13]: I feel like maybe the All-Star season was a little lame because people knew

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_13]: how to play and how to act.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_13]: This season has been so fun because we have a lot of people who don't really

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_13]: know.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_13]: So what was that right mix?

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_13]: I mean, did you have all newbies have no idea what's going on?

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_13]: Did you have a bunch of people that are being really strategic?

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_13]: Is that too many is too bad?

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_13]: What was the right mix?

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, Taren, maybe this is a hot take.

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I feel like that on Survivor, I think that they might have gone they have

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_08]: gone too overboard.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_08]: And maybe this is like if you were in a coma for, you know, 10 years and

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_08]: you woke up and you turned on Rob as a podcast to hear me saying that

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_08]: there's like too many super fans on the show.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_08]: But I think that you don't do not even get cast on Survivor if you are not

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_08]: like a, you know, eight out of 10 fan of the show because the game is so

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_08]: complicated.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_08]: And I think it would be better to have like a few more people who maybe

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_08]: are, you know, don't quite know every single angle and haven't seen at

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_08]: least 25 seasons.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_08]: So what do you think the right mix would be for Big Brother?

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it's tough because I think if you only have a couple of people who

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_12]: don't know what they're doing, then like what are they?

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_12]: They're not.

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_12]: They're just like completely out of their depth.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_12]: Like it just doesn't just in fairness, the super fans that they put on

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_08]: the show or the people that were the worst of the game this season.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, that's not entirely true.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_12]: Like, you know, like they lasted a while.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_12]: They lasted a bit.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_12]: Other people that did not write.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_12]: Cedric didn't know the show volunteered for the block got himself.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_12]: That's true.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_12]: That's true.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_12]: So it's kind of like, you know, I think we tend to focus on the

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_12]: failures of the super fans and certainly they have not performed.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_08]: But I think that that was a little bit more of a fluke.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that Cedric actually like in a vacuum, I think is probably a

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_08]: better player than Quinn or Joseph.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_12]: I agree. And as Cedric, who knows the game more, who's a fan of the

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_12]: game, does much better.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_12]: Right.

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_12]: And, you know, like Lisa wasn't exactly performing up to standard

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_12]: Matt was, you know, these are all players that like, you know,

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_12]: just didn't quite work.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_12]: Right.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_12]: So I think we tend to like overanalyze as super fans ourselves.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_12]: We overanalyze the other super fans.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_08]: But I think that Matt was a good person to have in the cast.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, I think that you like having sort of like a guy in there who is

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_08]: like a and he wasn't like a bad guy or anything, but he, you know,

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_08]: was, you know, making mistakes and he created a lot of the early action.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_08]: So I think that, you know, having a few mats in there is good.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_12]: Yes, except I think that like Matt is a player where if there, you

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_12]: know, I think you're going to be able to find a balance between Matt

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_12]: and Joseph to like take that shot at at Matt.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_12]: And if there's too many mats, then it's just not too many.

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_08]: But imagine you have that guy and then he also knows the show.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_12]: Like if you're going to have a guy, it's good to have that.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_12]: He doesn't know so much.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_12]: I agree. I think that like that in,

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_12]: that's the balance you have to find, which is like, you know,

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_12]: There are, right now, there are people that come in

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_12]: with significant advantages over other players.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_12]: You know, like a cam or a mat.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_12]: They come in with the advantage

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_12]: of being much more likely to win competitions,

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_12]: being much more likely to be included in groups

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_12]: because of that, because of their natural,

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_12]: you know, attractiveness and charisma.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_12]: And so for those players, if they are also,

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_12]: if they are Cody, California,

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_12]: and they've played the game once

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_12]: or they know the show really well,

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_12]: then yeah, things can start to get really boring,

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_12]: especially if they're the only ones

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_12]: that know the show really well.

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_12]: The ideal scenario is that you take people

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_12]: with the natural advantages and you disadvantage them

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_12]: by not knowing the show very well.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_12]: And you take people with lots of natural disadvantages

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_12]: and you give them the advantage

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_12]: of knowing the show really well.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_12]: And that's what I think tends to work.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_12]: And I think that's mostly what we've got on this season.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_12]: Like the players like Quinn and Joseph and Angela,

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_12]: like they knew the show really well,

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_12]: but like, you know, had some natural disadvantages

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_12]: that kept them from doing anything too clean and easy.

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_12]: And so I think that's what you want players

[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_12]: that are really good at one thing

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_12]: and really bad at another thing.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_12]: That's the ideal casting,

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_12]: regardless of fandom or anything else.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_13]: I think I agree with that, yeah.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_13]: So no, it's awesome.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Mike, good luck this weekend

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_08]: getting back on the right track.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_13]: Shout out to the cats of the crib.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Shout out to the cats of the crib, okay.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, take care, bye.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Appreciate it.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, let's say hello to Melissa

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_08]: with 1A and 1S.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Melissa.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, Rob, how are you?

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Good, how are you doing?

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm good, you know, end of summer.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, summer's basically almost over.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_02]: We're here, we're still having a big brother season.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_08]: We're still out here.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We're still out here.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go Mets, you know.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_08]: 16 to go.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_02]: 16 to go, it's a tough game tonight,

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_02]: but let's hope.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Ordered my Kellis plushy Terran,

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_02]: so got that free sale and waiting for that to come.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Loving the coverage this season.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You guys always do a great job.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Just wanted to pop in and just wanted to see

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_02]: how do you think,

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this last night's episode

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: was a little bit of a let down after the AI arena

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think the AI arena really added

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_02]: that extra energy to Thursday nights

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_02]: that was missing for so long.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_02]: How do you think they'll take that in the future?

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you think we'll see something,

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_02]: do you think Big Brother saw or production saw

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_02]: like a difference that they want to influence that?

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Terran, this is like a little bit of like

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_08]: rarefied air in that does production know what to do

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_08]: with a twist that worked?

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Do they basically say we're going out on a high note?

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Do they know to bring it back?

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_08]: I think they do, I think they know it

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_08]: because I think they probably would have ended it earlier

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_08]: if they didn't feel like it was working.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_12]: That's true, I mean I think there's a decent chance

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_12]: they bring it back.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_12]: I think the fear is like.

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_09]: But they lost Tucker.

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_12]: We know what we were talking about.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_12]: We can come up with all kinds of good stuff now.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_12]: I don't think they're gonna look at it like,

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_12]: oh we finally hit gold, let's mine this for what it's worth.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_12]: They're gonna be like, see we can produce gold

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_12]: whenever we want.

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Well I would say that if it doesn't come back

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_08]: that they feel like, oh that was part of this season's

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_08]: creative of the AI theme and part of the AI theme

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_08]: was the AI arena.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Like do they look at it as like

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_08]: this was such a successful theme more so than

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_08]: this was the part that worked?

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_12]: Mm-hmm, yeah I mean I think,

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean I have felt that the way they look at the show

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_12]: has not been very, like they look at it from this

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_12]: systemic or they don't look at it from a systemic

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_12]: approach of like if we change this formula

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_12]: then we will get a different show.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_12]: I think they look at it far too specifically

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_12]: like the cast, it's just about,

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_12]: oh if this season failed it's because the cast failed us.

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_12]: It's like well I disagree, I think most of the time

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_12]: it's that you structured the game wrong

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_12]: and I think they structured the game well this season

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_12]: and so are they gonna just be like,

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_12]: oh well we got a good cast on that one

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_12]: so we'll just make sure we get another good cast

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_12]: next time, I think that's the wrong approach.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's what you're saying Taryn

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: with the structure, I think that's what's been missing

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_02]: for a while because for a couple of years

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I still follow the feeds and listen to your updates

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: every day but I felt as a Big Brother player

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_02]: the past few years, a little disconnected in terms

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_02]: of like oh Thursday rolls around,

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_02]: we know what's gonna happen if you follow the feeds

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and you're on Big Brother Twitter.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: This season felt a little more like excitement

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_02]: coming into Thursday, like the unknown

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_02]: because there was so many elements of like

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_02]: what if this happens, what if this happens?

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Which I think has been missing for a long time

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't think if like the casuals

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of like feel that way here.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I don't know how the casuals felt

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: about the AI arena versus like us as super fans

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of I feel like-

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_08]: They probably liked it when Tucker was winning it

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_08]: and hated it when Tucker lost it.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: My mom is a casual.

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Results oriented.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: She was very upset when Tucker left,

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_02]: very casual energy came from my mom being like

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: that's it, the season's over.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I said no, we still got a whole season to go.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep.

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But wanted to pop in, say hi, it's been a while so.

[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Good to hear from you Melissa, duly noted.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Hope it was a good summer.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It was, I will see you in New York for the live show.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_08]: October 16th, all right see you then.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: October 16th.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_08]: All right take care.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: See you guys.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Bye.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Take care.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_08]: You know Taryn, we've been talking about

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_08]: the season sort of like from a macro perspective

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_08]: but from the micro perspective, all right,

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Leah's HOH, do you have a sense of what she wants

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_08]: to do with her HOH?

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_12]: Well this is where things get a little tricky

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_12]: because she had said last week, couple of days ago

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_12]: that if she won HOH she would put T-Corps

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_12]: and Chelsea on the block.

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_12]: And that's why her winning HOH was very exciting

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_12]: because that is the move of the game.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_12]: You said that was the port on the Death Star.

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_12]: It's exactly, if she does that the whole game opens up,

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_12]: it's a great play, there are a lot of different ways

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_08]: to go about it. Use the force Leah.

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_12]: It's a very good move.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_12]: Right in front of her, she even talked about doing it.

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_12]: The question is will she actually do it?

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_12]: Because a lot of players have been in this position

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_12]: before and they back off because it's scary

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_12]: to put up two people from both sides.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_12]: There's this temptation to go,

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_12]: well I don't wanna piss off both sides.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_12]: I'll just target one of the sides

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_12]: and ingratiate myself with the other side

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_12]: AKA the Quinn approach.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_12]: So she's already had a conversation with Cam

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_12]: where she has kind of indicated that she might do that.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_12]: She back away from the T-Corps, Chelsea shot,

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_12]: maybe even not put T-Corps up at all,

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_12]: maybe do like chemo and Rubina with like T-Corps

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_12]: as a replacement nominee pawn to take out one of the,

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_12]: which would be not a great play obviously from Leah.

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_12]: So that's where like does she chicken out

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_12]: or does she make the bold play

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_12]: that would potentially get her in a much better position

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_12]: to win the game?

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_12]: That is the big question right now

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_12]: and we don't know because she's barely had a chance

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_12]: to talk to anybody because they're all outside.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_08]: But what do you think she should do?

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_12]: Absolutely, I went through this earlier today

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_12]: as soon as the feeds came back,

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_12]: I jumped on Twitch, we spent an hour

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_12]: like running through scenarios.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it's the obvious simple answer

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_12]: was T-Corps and Chelsea.

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_12]: Once you run through the scenarios,

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_12]: the complicated strategic answer is T-Corps and Chelsea.

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_12]: It's just a deep play.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_08]: And then who do you think stays in that scenario?

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_12]: It's up to Leah and Angela

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_12]: because MJ and Cam vote to keep Chelsea,

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_12]: Rubina and Kimo vote to keep T-Corps,

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_12]: which means Angela is the swing vote there.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_12]: And as long as Leah keeps Angela on board,

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_12]: they decide who stays.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it's in their interest

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_12]: to get rid of Chelsea over T-Corps.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_12]: But that might depend on who wins the veto

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_12]: because a lot of people would be looking to win the veto

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_12]: or to use the veto.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_12]: So if the veto is used on Chelsea,

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_12]: then T-Corps as the backup target is not too bad either.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, all right.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's say hello to Jenny, okay?

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Here's Jenny.

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_10]: Hi.

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Jenny, what animal do you have?

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_10]: It's a bald-tailed cat, clearly.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_10]: No, shout out to all my rats at the crib.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_10]: Shout out to my rats at the crib.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Rat floaters.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the rat floaters.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_10]: No, this is rats at the crib.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Shout out to all my dogs at the crib.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_10]: Yep.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And no, my dog at the crib is down there.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_10]: He's actually scared of the rats.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, some beagle he is.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Jenny, I don't think that anybody's ever called in

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_08]: to any of the podcasts that I've done

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_08]: over these last 14 years holding a rat.

[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_10]: I thought about doing it on the Summer of Survivor,

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_10]: trying to get Shannon to put me on,

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_10]: instead of the cat lovers, it's a rat lovers.

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_10]: I would have a cat, but my dad's allergic

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_10]: so we can't.

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_12]: Yes, does he float?

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_10]: I haven't tried, he's pretty fat for a rat,

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_10]: so probably not.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_10]: Come here, let me see if I can get him

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_10]: to show off his belly.

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, he's kind of chunky.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_10]: He weighs twice as much as his brother, I swear.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Jenny, is a rat a good pet?

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, they're great pets.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_10]: They're super smart.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_10]: They are pretty, because they're a social animal,

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_10]: they're pretty good at when to tame them

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_10]: of being really interactive with you.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_10]: They give me kisses all the time

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_10]: when they're not super energetic.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_08]: This summer I heard about hot rodent guys

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_08]: are the new phenomenon.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I haven't heard of that.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Guys that look like a rodent.

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, like hairstyle?

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_08]: No, like facially.

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Like the guy from Challengers.

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_12]: He looks like a rat?

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so I was...

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_10]: Well, I had a couple of things to ask about.

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_12]: Taryn thinks I'm making this up.

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_12]: This is true.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_12]: I believe you.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_12]: That is not the most wild thing I've heard in my life.

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_10]: Forget hot girl summer, it's hot rodent summer.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's nothing compared to DJ Showtime.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that reference last night,

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_10]: I immediately yelled and covered my face

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_10]: and my parents who are major casuals were like,

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_10]: what?

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_10]: I'm like, don't worry about it.

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_10]: You don't wanna know.

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_10]: Although I thought about sending them

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_10]: your explanation of it,

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_10]: because that was great.

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I thought I kept that pretty family friendly.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that was good.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_10]: You rated one.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so something that I think,

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_10]: it had just occurred to me yesterday

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_10]: when we were, or one of these days,

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_10]: thinking about Angela's position of how,

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_10]: she's sick of being the pawn

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_10]: and how once you kind of get put in that position,

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_10]: like what Taryn's talked about,

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_10]: it just becomes easier for the HOH

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_10]: because then they're not...

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_10]: If that pawn becomes the HOH next,

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_10]: they have a plethora of targets to choose from.

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_10]: And I was trying to think of how a perpetual pawn

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_10]: could get out of that situation.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_10]: And I'm not sure if this strategy would work,

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_10]: but if they could somehow spread the word

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_10]: that if they win HOH,

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_10]: they're just coming after the last two people

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_10]: who nominated them.

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_10]: So going backwards down the list,

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_10]: if that would work to be like,

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_10]: oh, I don't wanna be the last person

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_10]: that nominated them,

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_10]: or if it would just be like,

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_10]: okay, well then I need to make sure you go out.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_10]: And how they would even go about spreading that

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_10]: without coming across to like,

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_10]: like as Angela called Matt, like aggressive.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_12]: It's tough.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_12]: It's tough because that's obviously one aspect of it

[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_12]: of like, well, there's a bunch of people

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_12]: they could target.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_12]: And yes, the problem with trying to counteract that

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_12]: is that then you're kind of like pretty aggressively

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_12]: just being like, if you put me up, I'm coming after you.

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_12]: Which is, it might help prevent you

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_12]: from going on the block.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_12]: But at the end of the day,

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_12]: I think a lot of HOHs would be like,

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_12]: okay, fine, I guess you're my target then.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_12]: I guess that's a great excuse for me

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_12]: to just target you.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_12]: And so that's a little dangerous.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_12]: Ultimately, the thing is that we've never really seen

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_12]: anybody get out of this position except for Taylor.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_12]: She's really the only person who has managed to climb

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_12]: out of that hole.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_12]: And she did it by changing the rules of the game,

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_12]: essentially by like advocating for herself as a player

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_12]: and climbing a social ladder that had been kicked out

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_12]: from under everyone else who had climbed it

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_12]: and figuring out a way to make it socially damaging

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_12]: to put her on the block, to target her.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_12]: Hey, I don't deserve this.

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_12]: And if you put me on the block,

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_12]: then you are participating in a culture

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_12]: that you disagree with.

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_12]: And she had the social credit to do that

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_12]: because she had built those relationships

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_12]: and she advocated for herself really well.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_12]: So it's hard to point people at Taylor

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_12]: and be like, just do that because it was Taylor.

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_12]: But I think that is our only real example

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_12]: of somebody getting out of it.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_12]: If you don't have that in you, then I do think, yeah,

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_12]: if you're looking for like a more strategic shortcut,

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that something like that isn't the worst thing

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_12]: in the world to do.

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that at one point just being like,

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_12]: all right, let's say you're Angela

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_12]: and you just came off the block last week.

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_12]: You go, okay, that's it.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_12]: That is the last time I'm touching the block.

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_12]: The next time anybody puts me on the block,

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm just coming after them for the rest of the game.

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm just gonna do everything in my power to go after them

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_12]: because I'm sick of being on the block.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_12]: And then maybe that gives people pause the next time

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_12]: and maybe it gets them to target you.

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_12]: But if you're the perpetual pawn,

[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_12]: you're not winning the game anyway.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_12]: So you might as well take a big swing like that.

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, because I think what made me think of it

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_10]: was actually after Felicia being on the recap.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_10]: And then, cause she was kind of in saying

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_10]: that she was in that same position.

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_10]: She went up like eight times,

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_10]: cause Taylor was like the record holder for that.

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_10]: And then Felicia broke the record the following season

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_10]: of how many times she went on the block

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_10]: or if I remember correctly.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_12]: It's certainly up there.

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_12]: Taylor is, I think the person who has been on the block

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_12]: the most who won the game.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_12]: But I do think there are some people who like,

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm pretty sure Spencer's up there

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_12]: in terms of having gone on the block

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_12]: the most amount of time.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_12]: So there's definitely a lot of,

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_12]: there's a lot of perpetual pawns in the record books,

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_12]: for sure.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_10]: The only other, cause the only other way

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_10]: I could think of it is just not tell anyone

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_10]: that strategy until you win HOH.

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_10]: And then when you're making your nominations be like,

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_10]: I'm naming you and you

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_10]: cause you're the last two people who put me up.

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And then if the veto gets used,

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_10]: it's like, you're the third most recent.

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_10]: And so then it's not like aggressively saying

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_10]: like I'm coming after these people,

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_10]: but just kind of the implication of,

[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_10]: oh, maybe I don't want to do that.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_10]: But that relies on winning the HOH,

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_10]: which Angela has done twice technically.

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_10]: So, but yeah, that was my strategy thing.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_10]: A couple of questions I, well, one question I had.

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_10]: So the summit thing tonight,

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't have to do anything except click the link.

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Click the link, join us.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna watch the episode

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_08]: and then we're gonna start it.

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_08]: And then at each commercial break,

[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_08]: we're gonna have questions

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_08]: and questions about what we just saw.

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Ooh, we're gonna quiz you.

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna quiz you.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_08]: And then the first people to lock in on the chat

[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_08]: in the chat, okay?

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_08]: With the correct answer to the questions

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_08]: that have been written,

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_08]: we'll get the chance to go to prize Island.

[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Ooh.

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Sam had said this should be a Yankee swap.

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Taryn, I thought that that would be

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_08]: a little too controversial for.

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_12]: Is it, well, what does prize,

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_12]: is prize Island gonna be like,

[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_12]: we're gonna do like some prisoners' dilemmas?

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_08]: No, no, we have it.

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Basically all the prizes are numbered one to 20

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_08]: and you get to pick a door

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_08]: and behind the door is the prize.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_12]: Are we gonna, are we gonna Monte Hall it

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_12]: and have them get to pick the door?

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_12]: 20 way Monte Hall?

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_08]: Look, you'll be there, okay?

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_08]: If you wanna like mix it up like that.

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe the last round we could Yankee swap it.

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll see.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll bring up five people and do a Yankee swap.

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_10]: No zonks behind the doors though?

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm, no zonks.

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_08]: There's no bad prize.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_10]: All right.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_08]: There's no bad prize.

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_08]: There might be less good prizes,

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_08]: but there's no bad prize.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_10]: My last comment was I commented it on

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_10]: I think like a couple videos today,

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_10]: but I've caught up on Taryn's Survivor 47

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_10]: cast assessment with the pet peeves

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_10]: and I just wanted to say how ironic it is

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_10]: that Taryn got 15 out of 18 on the pet peeves,

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_10]: the Taryn on the cast.

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_10]: It's not very good according to this Taryn.

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_12]: You know,

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_12]: What did you, you matched up the pet peeves

[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_08]: with the person?

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_12]: I just ranked the pet peeves.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_12]: Oh, okay.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_12]: Got it.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_12]: Okay, I don't remember what his pet peeves were, but.

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_10]: I think there were just a couple generic ones, really.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I went through, I ranked all the pet peeves.

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_12]: I gotta say, Asia, she did miss the podium,

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_12]: but there were some good ones.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_08]: What was the number one pet peeve?

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll ask you on the draft podcast.

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Jenny, thank you so much for,

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_08]: you know, Taryn has pet peeves

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_08]: and you have an interesting pet.

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_10]: Yes.

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_10]: Next time I call in,

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_10]: maybe I'll bring his calmer brother.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_10]: Who sleeps a lot.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, that's nice.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, all right.

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Jenny, take care.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_10]: All right.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Bye.

[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, bye.

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_12]: Someday somebody is gonna win the pet peeve ranking

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_12]: by saying, my pet peeve is my pet.

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_08]: My name Peeve.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Quinn could have been there.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_08]: He could have done that.

[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Could have.

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, let's say hi to Rachel.

[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Rachel.

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey guys, how's it going?

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Going great.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you?

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Pretty good.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: See me, I'm, you know.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Rachel, do you have any rodents you wanna show us?

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm actually,

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not allowed to have pets per my landlord.

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It kinda sucks.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Lame landlord.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I do, I have this that I'm working on,

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: which has a lot of rodents on it.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Crossed it.

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, what is it of?

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Pokemon.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Very fun.

[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm doing that for my boyfriend.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's been, well, some I've been working on

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_04]: for the last couple months.

[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's nice.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_08]: So what's going on?

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Not much.

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, CBS decided to give Taryn the night off,

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_04]: so that was really nice of them.

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you still, like,

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_04]: do you still just stay up all night?

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, is it so much a night off?

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I feel like you gotta like go and like check

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_08]: every five seconds to see.

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, did they come back yet?

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_12]: More like a morning off

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_12]: because I wasn't spending hours typing up notes.

[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_12]: Scrubbing, yeah.

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_04]: True.

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's a good point.

[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess you sort of addressed this question

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_04]: in the last, with the last person.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_04]: But my real question, I guess, for this week is

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_04]: how does Leah, like being kind of on this island

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_04]: at this point, how does she manage this HOH

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_04]: to go into next week without being

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_04]: like the immediate target or the person that the house

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_04]: is just like, okay, we gotta pick her off?

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it's gonna be tricky regardless.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_12]: And I think that the key to this kind of HOH

[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_12]: is accepting that you might still just be a target

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_12]: heading into next week.

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_12]: Trying to play it safe, I think is not gonna work.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that the key here is,

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_12]: and I talked about this a little bit before,

[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_12]: but like if you try to appease one side

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_12]: and only nominate the other,

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_12]: what you're doing is you're putting all of the power

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_12]: into that one side.

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_12]: You're handing them over the reins

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_12]: because you have power at the beginning of the week.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_12]: And the thing that people remember the most

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_12]: is what happens at the end of the week, the vote.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_12]: So if you nominate two people from let's say T-corps side,

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_12]: you nominate T-corps and chemo, then that's it.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_12]: Your power's done, the veto happens.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_12]: The rest of the week is spent on who between T-corps

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_12]: and chemo gets voted out.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_12]: And who are they campaigning to?

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_12]: Not you and Angela, you can't decide.

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_12]: They're campaigning to the other trio,

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_12]: Chelsea, Cam and MJ.

[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_12]: They get to decide which one of those two stays.

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_12]: And those three are promising the world to T-corps.

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_12]: Hey T-corps, we're gonna keep you,

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_12]: don't worry about it, we've got your back.

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_12]: They vote to keep T-corps, chemo leaves,

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_12]: and now they've all bonded over the fact

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_12]: that they kept them and they kept them safe

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_12]: and all of this stuff, right?

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_12]: So the key to this is you do need to take the shot

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_12]: at both sides and both sides are gonna be mad at you

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_12]: at first, they're gonna be like,

[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_12]: oh man, that's so annoying of Leah.

[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_12]: She really turned her back on us

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_12]: or whatever the case may be.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_12]: But after that initial burst of like,

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_12]: oh we're mad at Leah, the rest of the week,

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_12]: they are coming to you.

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_12]: Begging, Leah, Angela, we need your vote.

[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_12]: Please keep us over the other trio.

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_12]: They suck, they're big threats.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_12]: They can't collaborate because they're working

[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_12]: against each other, they're campaigning against each other

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_12]: and they need your support to stay.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_12]: It puts the power in your own hands

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_12]: and you get to control your fate

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_12]: throughout the rest of the week as you do the work

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_12]: to bond with whichever side you're gonna side with.

[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_12]: That's the way to do it in my opinion.

[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Sometimes the riskiest thing you can do

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_08]: is playing it safe.

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it almost reminds me of like BB-19

[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_04]: when Jess finally got, what was it?

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Was it HOH?

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_04]: She was kind of in a similar situation I guess,

[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_04]: but it was more about her

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_04]: against the rest of the house

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_04]: and the rest of the house was just Paul on Paul's side.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Mine, give or take a couple people like Ramsey's

[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and instead of taking those shots at Paul's side

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_04]: and actually trying to like take a hit at his numbers,

[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_04]: she basically just was like trying to appease Paul

[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_04]: to get on his good side when she was never going to be.

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_04]: You can't appease a dictator.

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's like you're never gonna be

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_04]: in as good graces anyway,

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_04]: so why roll over and die when you do have the power?

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Because it's so hard to get in the game.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_12]: Yep, I mean we've talked about this before,

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_12]: it was the same thing with Quinn.

[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_12]: He wasn't targeting Joseph,

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_12]: but by nominating Joseph to appease the rest of the house,

[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_12]: he just gave them what they wanted on a platter

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_12]: and then the following week when they had power,

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_12]: they had already got what they wanted

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_12]: so they now wanted a new thing

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_12]: and turns out that new thing was him.

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, which is why you don't put your shield up

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_04]: on the block when you're in the HOH.

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_04]: So okay, well that's all I got to say guys.

[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, good luck with the cross stitch Rachel, okay?

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Thanks guys.

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, take care, bye.

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_08]: I'd say hello to Catherine.

[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey Catherine, how are you?

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_14]: Okay, how are you?

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, okay, can I shout out the dogs at the crib?

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_14]: Yes, you certainly can, he's a sweet dog.

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, shout out Flash Gordon, okay?

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_14]: Who is a ratter by the way and-

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh.

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_14]: Oh yeah.

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Wasn't growling at the TV right?

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_14]: No, he doesn't watch TV.

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_14]: Although if there's a sound from an animal,

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_14]: he'll be interested, but no,

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_14]: the New York City street rats are,

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_14]: it can be a challenge some nights when we walk.

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_14]: Let's put it that way.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, so what's going on Catherine?

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_14]: Well my festy bestie and I are heading to Lake Tahoe

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_14]: on Sunday morning, so anyway.

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_14]: No, he's my festy bestie, come on, come on.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Any problem flying?

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_14]: Well, we have a three hour layover in LA,

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_14]: it's just not good for us.

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_08]: But he can go in the cabin with you, that's fine?

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, he goes in the cabin, I sneak him on,

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_14]: sneak him off, nobody ever knows.

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_14]: So he doesn't move, he's perfect, but anyway.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_14]: So I did have a question,

[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_14]: but maybe this is like a magician

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_14]: can't reveal their secrets,

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_14]: Taryn, you're just so impressive on the live feeds

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_14]: when you're doing a reenactment.

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_14]: How do you remember all of that?

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_14]: And because especially now when you can't rewind

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_14]: or whatever, I'm just really impressed by it

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_14]: and I just wondered if you're gonna

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_14]: reveal your secrets to us.

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_12]: Honestly, this is the honest answer here.

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_12]: People love my reenactments,

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_12]: I think they're not great.

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_12]: Okay, no.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_12]: Like they just naturally come out of me

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_12]: as like a minimum effort way

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_12]: to mimic what is in my head of what I saw.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_12]: And like I watch it back and everyone's like,

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_12]: oh man, you did such a good Angela

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_12]: and I'm watching it back, I'm like, I'm just doing me.

[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm just doing me as Angela.

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_12]: I watch Angela, it's so much funnier,

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_12]: but like people love them,

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_12]: I appreciate that people love them,

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_12]: but yeah, it's a very natural process.

[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_12]: It's just like, it just me imitating people

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_12]: because I watch them so much, so it's like.

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, just thinking about it,

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_08]: you don't necessarily do like impressions of people.

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_08]: It's not like that you do like,

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_08]: are doing like, you don't,

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_08]: and I hope that this isn't taken the wrong way.

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_08]: You're not necessarily like a impressionist.

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_08]: You are sort of like,

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_08]: you would channel that person's character

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_08]: and are like a reenactor of like,

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_08]: you're an accurate portrayal of,

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_08]: you are acting as that person,

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_08]: not doing like a characterization of them.

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Like where I might do it and then try to like,

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_08]: like ratchet it up and like do their essence,

[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_08]: but I'm like trying to amplify it for comedic effect.

[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_08]: You give it like a very realistic,

[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_08]: like regurgitation of that person's energy.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_12]: No, I think that's completely right.

[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_12]: It's just like, I am channeling the vibe of that person

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_12]: through myself.

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_12]: So that is, I think what happened.

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_12]: So like, you know.

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_14]: That's very impressive.

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_14]: And the people that you're podcasting with always say,

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_14]: yes, yes.

[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_14]: So you're obviously getting it right.

[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_14]: You're giving the same thing when you're reenacting it

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_14]: that they saw live on the feed.

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_14]: So I just, I love it.

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_14]: I really, really do.

[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_14]: So yeah, it's very, very impressive.

[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_14]: But yeah, so anyway, so yeah, I'll be in Lake Tahoe.

[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_14]: So I-

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_08]: What are you doing there?

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_14]: Oh, well Flash Gordon and I go to a dog camp.

[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Dog camp?

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_14]: Yes.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_14]: We go, it's actually on the Nevada state line

[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_14]: of Lake Tahoe and it's a 4-H camp.

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_14]: I don't stay at the 4-H camp

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_14]: because I'm flying from New York.

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_14]: I don't take all the bedding and whatever.

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_14]: We stay in a hotel and we meet up with other people.

[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_14]: And at this dog camp, I don't know.

[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_14]: I think there's at least probably 75 people.

[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_14]: And I have no idea how many dogs

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_14]: are gonna be there this time

[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_14]: because people can bring multiple dogs.

[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_14]: I obviously just travel with one.

[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_14]: But some of these people I've known

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_14]: for many, many, many years.

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_14]: And one of them, she's a survivor fan.

[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_14]: So we're gonna go watch the Survivor premiere.

[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_14]: We'll go to the hotel room and we'll just watch.

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_14]: And cheer on Asia.

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_14]: Anyway, and baby Andy too.

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_14]: So anyway, yeah.

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_14]: So no, it is, I come the farthest from New York

[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_14]: but that's because I have a small dog.

[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_14]: Other people are coming maybe from Colorado

[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_14]: or California, Oregon, Washington, all from the West.

[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_14]: But it's fantastic.

[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_14]: We go hiking in the high Sierras.

[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_14]: There's all sorts of activities.

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_14]: It's a great time.

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Jacob in the chat says,

[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_08]: shout out to dogs at the camp.

[00:52:04] [SPEAKER_14]: Shout out to dogs at the camp.

[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, there'll be lots of dogs at the camp.

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_14]: And most of the people actually stay in this 4-H camp.

[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_14]: So because that's part of the experience.

[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_14]: It's just not possible for me to drag blankets

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_14]: and pillows and towels.

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_14]: Anyway.

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, well, Catherine have a great trip, okay?

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_14]: All right, I will, I will.

[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_14]: Okay, we'll see you next month.

[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_14]: Oh, for sure.

[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_14]: Absolutely.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_14]: All right.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_14]: Bringing a couple of friends

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_14]: and we will definitely be there.

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_14]: No, I always bring, yeah.

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_14]: I always come with others.

[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_14]: So anyway.

[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_08]: See you soon Catherine, okay?

[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_14]: Take care.

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_14]: Bye-bye.

[00:52:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's say hello to Sam and then Tracy.

[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, first Sam.

[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Sam.

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_15]: Hi.

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_08]: How's it going?

[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_15]: Good, how are you?

[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, doing great.

[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_08]: What's new?

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_15]: Not much.

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_15]: I've never called in before.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_15]: And so I'm freaking out inside.

[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, don't freak out.

[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_08]: You got this.

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_08]: We're all good.

[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_15]: I do want to shout out.

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_15]: Dogs at the crib?

[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_15]: Well, dogs at the crib,

[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_15]: but also Rachel and her rat at the crib

[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_15]: because she was just thinking exactly what I was thinking

[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_15]: and that's what I wanted to ask.

[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_15]: But my other question.

[00:53:20] [SPEAKER_15]: Okay, so the first thing that I thought of,

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_15]: Hannah Chadda always says her pre-season pick to win

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_15]: when we get bios and all of that.

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_15]: I was wondering from both of you,

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_15]: just kind of based off of first impressions.

[00:53:33] [SPEAKER_15]: I know we're going way back,

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_15]: but who is or was your pre-season pick to win?

[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_15]: I'm curious if they're still around

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_15]: or if you had someone in mind.

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, we had the draft.

[00:53:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Trying to remember.

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Let me.

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_15]: It's like you don't necessarily always get

[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_15]: your pick in the draft

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_15]: if somebody else kind of took them or you know.

[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so I think I probably would have,

[00:54:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I think I probably would have gone Tucker,

[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_08]: but I'm looking at the draft order.

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm trying to think of who I would have taken beforehand.

[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I do think that Tucker was probably the person

[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_08]: and he didn't seem like he was gonna be as crazy,

[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_08]: but he seemed like that he was like,

[00:54:18] [SPEAKER_08]: oh, he seems like he has a good personality.

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_08]: He seems like he knows the show.

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_08]: He's like athletic enough to win comps,

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_08]: but he's not the most athletic guy in the house.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_08]: We didn't know just how crazy he was gonna be.

[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_08]: So I think Tucker probably would have been my pick

[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_08]: if I could have picked anybody.

[00:54:36] Okay.

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_12]: I think if I'm recalling correctly

[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_12]: that something like Kimo, Cam and Chelsea

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_12]: would have been like my ideal draft team.

[00:54:52] [SPEAKER_12]: And so I picked Kimo.

[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_12]: I think I missed Chelsea.

[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_12]: I got Cam and then MJ was like a great,

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_12]: great value pick at the end there.

[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_12]: But I mean, I was going for like people

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_12]: who knew the game or were Cam,

[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_12]: big physical dude is gonna be good socially.

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_12]: And I felt like Chelsea was like,

[00:55:15] [SPEAKER_12]: so Kimo was like super fan, really knowledgeable

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_12]: like what he was saying.

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_12]: Cam was like the physical

[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_12]: and then Chelsea was the good mix in between.

[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_12]: So those probably would have been my three.

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_12]: I definitely missed T Corp.

[00:55:28] [SPEAKER_12]: I did not anticipate that she'd be as good as she was.

[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_08]: And I was a Joseph believer.

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_08]: I really, I thought he was gonna be good.

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_15]: Chadda was a chose Joseph believer too.

[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_15]: That was her pick.

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_15]: And for myself, I was between Joseph and T Corp.

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_15]: There was just something about Joseph.

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_15]: I was like, I don't know.

[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_15]: This is a mustache.

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_15]: There's something there,

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_15]: but I ultimately went with T Corp.

[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_15]: So we'll see that I'm still holding out hope.

[00:55:54] Okay.

[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:55:56] [SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.

[00:55:56] [SPEAKER_15]: She survives this week.

[00:55:58] [SPEAKER_08]: It's a big hurdle.

[00:56:01] [SPEAKER_15]: Do we know who she was?

[00:56:03] [SPEAKER_15]: Like, did she say before winning,

[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_15]: like who she wanted to put up if,

[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_15]: should she be in the position to do so?

[00:56:12] [SPEAKER_12]: Leah?

[00:56:12] [SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.

[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, she did say T Corp and Chelsea

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_12]: a couple of days ago.

[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_12]: It's just, that was a couple of days ago

[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_12]: and things have changed.

[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_12]: And now that she's actually in the position,

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_12]: who knows?

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_15]: Okay.

[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_15]: I do have one last question just thought of it.

[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_15]: Should T Corp and Chelsea be the final moms this week?

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_15]: Let's just, we live in,

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_15]: that's the reality.

[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_15]: Who do you think wins out over the other?

[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that,

[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_12]: because basically Angela and Leah decide.

[00:56:46] [SPEAKER_12]: And I think that they should want Chelsea out.

[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that that's the better play

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_12]: because if Chelsea's gone,

[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_12]: it kind of frees MJ and Cam up a bit

[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_12]: where I don't think either of them run straight

[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_12]: to the trio thinking that they can go there

[00:57:02] [SPEAKER_12]: with open arms.

[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_12]: Whereas if T Corp leaves,

[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_12]: I kind of could see Kimo and Rubina running over

[00:57:10] [SPEAKER_12]: to Chelsea and the Cam MJ trio.

[00:57:15] [SPEAKER_12]: So I do think that Chelsea leaving

[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_12]: is a little better for them.

[00:57:19] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that's who Leah and Angela would probably prefer

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_12]: to go out right now at the moment

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_12]: because they were a little frustrated with Chelsea,

[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_12]: but there's certainly a long way to go.

[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Sam.

[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you so much.

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Great first time call.

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_15]: Awesome. Thank you.

[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Take care.

[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_15]: Okay, bye.

[00:57:44] [SPEAKER_08]: All right. Let's say hello to Tracy.

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi Tracy.

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_17]: Hi Rob.

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_17]: Hi Tyron.

[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_17]: How are you?

[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Doing great.

[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_08]: What's going on?

[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_17]: I'm happy to jump in on rat chat in a minute,

[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_17]: but first a bit of a history question.

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_17]: I watched Big Brother sort of on and off.

[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_17]: So I've been watching this season.

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_17]: I watched last season,

[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_17]: which means I've heard a lot about Taylor Hale

[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_17]: in season 24.

[00:58:07] [SPEAKER_17]: So at this point,

[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_17]: I'm kind of ready to go back

[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_17]: and see what happened there,

[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_17]: but we all know like the differences

[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_17]: between episodes and the feeds.

[00:58:14] [SPEAKER_17]: So I have time for episodes,

[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_17]: but maybe not 90 hours of two-year-old feeds,

[00:58:18] [SPEAKER_17]: but I am wondering like if there are like moments.

[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_17]: I don't even know if you can go back

[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_08]: and watch all the feeds from a season.

[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_17]: Wouldn't they be on YouTube or something?

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_12]: Maybe clips.

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, it's tough.

[00:58:30] [SPEAKER_12]: There are some people that try to keep archives,

[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_12]: but yeah, it's tricky to find them.

[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_17]: The question is still,

[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_17]: are there moments or HOA trains

[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_17]: where the episodes just veer so completely off

[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_17]: from what actually happened in the house

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_17]: that like for those moments,

[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_17]: I should like do a little research dig

[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_17]: and figure out what actually happened.

[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_12]: I'm trying to think and off the top of my head,

[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_12]: I don't remember.

[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_12]: Probably the first week.

[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, well, yeah.

[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_12]: The first week is huge obviously.

[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_12]: I guess not obviously,

[00:59:05] [SPEAKER_12]: but the first week it took them a second

[00:59:08] [SPEAKER_12]: to figure out that they should be accurately portraying

[00:59:11] [SPEAKER_12]: what was happening with Taylor.

[00:59:13] [SPEAKER_12]: So they miss out on a lot of the important stuff.

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_12]: So like detailed feed stuff,

[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_12]: definitely important for that week.

[00:59:23] [SPEAKER_12]: There's some stuff later with Kyle

[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_12]: that they did not really portray very well,

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_12]: I would say personally.

[00:59:33] [SPEAKER_12]: And then there's also,

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_12]: there's a lot of missing Joseph stuff,

[00:59:38] [SPEAKER_12]: which if you're a Joseph fan,

[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_12]: you might be upset about.

[00:59:41] [SPEAKER_12]: If not, you know.

[00:59:45] [SPEAKER_12]: So there's definitely some things here and there.

[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_12]: I would honestly, I think there are some people

[00:59:51] [SPEAKER_12]: that like to listen to various kinds of podcasts.

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_12]: Like some people like watching,

[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_12]: like listening to the episode recaps

[00:59:59] [SPEAKER_12]: to get a sense of like the barest sense

[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_12]: of what's happening.

[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_12]: Some people like to do the round tables weekly

[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_12]: to get like a good overview of what's happening.

[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_12]: Some people listen to all of the live updates.

[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_12]: Tracey, I'm sorry, did I miss you?

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_08]: You said you didn't have time to go back

[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_08]: and listen to the live feed update podcasts.

[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Now you didn't wanna go back

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_08]: and watch the stream, the live feeds from Big Brother 24.

[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_15]: Oh no, no, no, no, no.

[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_15]: Okay, I'm sorry.

[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_08]: The update podcasts are all still there.

[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_08]: That's what I meant.

[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, my bad, my bad.

[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, so for, you said Kyle and Joseph,

[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_17]: like where-ish in the season is that?

[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_17]: Is that way pre-jury, jury-ish, later on?

[01:00:37] [SPEAKER_12]: In general, Joseph is a bit under-edited.

[01:00:43] [SPEAKER_12]: So like for the most part,

[01:00:45] [SPEAKER_12]: you'll just be missing some of his contributions

[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_12]: throughout the season.

[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_12]: You'll know it when there's a big thing with Kyle

[01:00:55] [SPEAKER_12]: that you'll know what we're talking about

[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_12]: and you'll know to go and look for more detail.

[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_17]: All right, that'll do.

[01:01:02] [SPEAKER_17]: Thank you so much.

[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, all right.

[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Tracy, good luck going back, okay?

[01:01:08] [SPEAKER_17]: All right, take it easy guys.

[01:01:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Take care, bye.

[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, let's say hello to Uday.

[01:01:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Uday, how are you?

[01:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm well, yeah, I'm fine.

[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: What about you guys?

[01:01:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, doing great.

[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_08]: What's happening?

[01:01:23] [SPEAKER_00]: No, just I think we saw,

[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I was waiting for the feeds as well to see who won.

[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, okay.

[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_08]: What do you think now that they've come back?

[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm just worried that I hope Leah follows through

[01:01:36] [SPEAKER_00]: with the T-Core Chelsea plan to put in.

[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, I think that seems like

[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: the optimal move for her.

[01:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I think you guys were just talking about it.

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_00]: If Chelsea goes out potentially,

[01:01:47] [SPEAKER_00]: she gets Cam and MJ to work with her.

[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, this is where the good players

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_08]: then they need to return serve of,

[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_08]: okay, so Leah's move would be putting the two players on.

[01:02:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Will either of the good players

[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_08]: be able to get in Leah's head and say,

[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_08]: but actually the real good move is.

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Kimo Rubina and just get rid of Kimo,

[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: then pretty much other than.

[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_08]: By your time,

[01:02:17] [SPEAKER_08]: then you can use the veto on whoever you want.

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know.

[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope she puts in the right people.

[01:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, it's just about keeping herself safe

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: the set to her and it will not do much

[01:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: other than that.

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it can be interesting.

[01:02:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I really hope,

[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I think Tico Chelsea is the most interesting option

[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: right now.

[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, it would be a boring week as well.

[01:02:40] [SPEAKER_00]: If they just get out Kimo.

[01:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, I was thinking about this

[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: because I think I saw Taren was also,

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Taren was excited about the AI Arena twist coming up

[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_00]: but coming back and so on.

[01:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But how do you think now people would have seen this?

[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Like this year it was a surprise for players.

[01:02:58] [SPEAKER_00]: But if when some people for one year

[01:03:00] [SPEAKER_00]: know this is most likely going to happen again,

[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: how do you think people are going to game it

[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: for next year?

[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_12]: It's a great question

[01:03:09] [SPEAKER_12]: because part of what I like about it

[01:03:11] [SPEAKER_12]: is that it's kind of hard to gain.

[01:03:15] [SPEAKER_12]: There's not really a good way to exploit it

[01:03:20] [SPEAKER_12]: to take advantage of it.

[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_12]: It's more so just like,

[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_12]: what are the best ways to survive this?

[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_12]: So I would assume that number one,

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_12]: is less volunteers.

[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_12]: I would assume.

[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_12]: But beyond that,

[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_12]: we could see more throwing of HOH

[01:03:41] [SPEAKER_12]: because the HOH is not as valuable

[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_12]: when the AI Arena is around.

[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_12]: And you have to nominate three people.

[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_12]: If there's fewer volunteers,

[01:03:51] [SPEAKER_12]: that means you piss off three other people,

[01:03:53] [SPEAKER_12]: maybe even a four.

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_12]: And so, I think it gets a little tricky

[01:04:01] [SPEAKER_12]: and you might see people less,

[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_12]: more hesitant to take that power,

[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_12]: which I think is all again still very good.

[01:04:11] [SPEAKER_12]: If I'm thinking of ways

[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_12]: that a big majority could come together

[01:04:15] [SPEAKER_12]: and game this,

[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_12]: there's really just not.

[01:04:19] [SPEAKER_12]: Just put three people up that aren't in your alliance

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_12]: and then vote one of them out, I guess.

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_12]: But at the end of the day,

[01:04:26] [SPEAKER_12]: it's not really easily taken advantage of, I think.

[01:04:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's definitely coming back.

[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So we will see who comes up.

[01:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have an idea, Uday?

[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like,

[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: instead of having one target,

[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: you have two targets.

[01:04:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But then of course,

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: one of them will be safe.

[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So they can come after you.

[01:04:50] [SPEAKER_12]: You kind of gotta have four targets.

[01:04:53] [SPEAKER_12]: You know, you're gonna be willing to take out

[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_12]: any of the three and then if the veto gets used,

[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_12]: any of the four that you end up putting up.

[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's why I thought,

[01:05:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I know Quinn kind of messed up his second HOH,

[01:05:04] [SPEAKER_00]: but it was a very hard spot at final nine,

[01:05:06] [SPEAKER_00]: potentially nominating four people.

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like half the house.

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Like exactly half the house

[01:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: if you exclude yourself.

[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So yes, Joseph Nom absolutely should not have happened

[01:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: ever, but still it was like a very tough spot

[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_00]: to have the final HOH with the AI arena.

[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.

[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it will be interesting to see

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: if this really evolves the BB game

[01:05:27] [SPEAKER_00]: because I think in the 20s with the,

[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think they have fixed the competition

[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: this year as well.

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And this LEA HOH in my opinion definitely proves it.

[01:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So-

[01:05:37] [SPEAKER_08]: But this is gonna be the real test now coming up.

[01:05:41] [SPEAKER_08]: The last month,

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_08]: this is where it's been the worst

[01:05:44] [SPEAKER_08]: for the last five, six years.

[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Like can they have,

[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_08]: did they fix,

[01:05:51] [SPEAKER_08]: easy to fix the first half, two thirds.

[01:05:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah maybe it's like the survivor,

[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: like the 20s were the dark ages for,

[01:06:00] [SPEAKER_00]: but like early 20s were the dark ages for-

[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah around 25, 26 started to turn a corner.

[01:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just that Philippines for-

[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know,

[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_08]: maybe it's just the early 20s

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_08]: of these long running franchises.

[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_08]: It's tough to get through.

[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.

[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think big world survivor also brought back

[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: that three tribes thing in Philippines,

[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_00]: which brought in some change.

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And now with the-

[01:06:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Three nominees.

[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Might be just switching it up a bit.

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I like that.

[01:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Because otherwise the game was like,

[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah the end game thing for last few seasons

[01:06:31] [SPEAKER_00]: has been very boring to watch.

[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Like since Jackson Hawley and then Cody

[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and then Jack last season.

[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I think Taylor kind of won as an anomaly

[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_00]: or exception to the rule.

[01:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise like Monte was winning this season as well.

[01:06:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Uday.

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you so much, okay?

[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, take care.

[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_08]: All right we got Connor and then Julianne.

[01:06:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey Connor, what's up?

[01:06:57] [SPEAKER_11]: Hello, how are you today?

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Doing great, what's happening?

[01:07:00] [SPEAKER_11]: Too much, hopefully I might be able to go to Houston.

[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_11]: I live in Oklahoma so-

[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_11]: Okay.

[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_11]: To work out well.

[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_11]: Never been to a live show.

[01:07:06] [SPEAKER_11]: Been a patron eight years so-

[01:07:07] [SPEAKER_11]: I hope to see you there.

[01:07:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Should be a good one.

[01:07:10] [SPEAKER_11]: I'm excited.

[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, so first two things.

[01:07:12] [SPEAKER_11]: First thing about Pet Peeves, Victoria Bay Monday

[01:07:15] [SPEAKER_11]: actually in her preseason buyer,

[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_11]: her pet peeve was one of her guinea pigs

[01:07:19] [SPEAKER_11]: which she named Peeve.

[01:07:20] [SPEAKER_11]: So it's already been done

[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_11]: but send you the link to the article.

[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_11]: You can look at it.

[01:07:24] [SPEAKER_11]: Had to share that, thought that was important.

[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_11]: And then second question relevant to the week.

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_11]: I don't think it's been talked about yet

[01:07:29] [SPEAKER_11]: but do you think being outside

[01:07:31] [SPEAKER_11]: all in this kind of confined area

[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_11]: is going to make Leah less likely to make a big move?

[01:07:36] [SPEAKER_11]: Cause I feel like last week she's like

[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_11]: we're just going to shut the HOA door, be Ronnie

[01:07:39] [SPEAKER_11]: and not let anyone in and nominate T-Core and Chelsea.

[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_11]: But I feel like with the type of player Leah is

[01:07:45] [SPEAKER_11]: she may actually need like the HOA room

[01:07:47] [SPEAKER_11]: to be able to be alone a little bit

[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_11]: to actually be able to make a move.

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if she wants to do this

[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_11]: and then have to be in the yard

[01:07:53] [SPEAKER_11]: with everyone the whole week.

[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_12]: I don't disagree.

[01:07:57] [SPEAKER_12]: I think that there's definitely a chance

[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_12]: that this makes it harder.

[01:08:02] [SPEAKER_12]: I don't know if it's enough to stop her

[01:08:04] [SPEAKER_12]: from making the move she wants to make,

[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_12]: but you know, it's harder to find space

[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_12]: to talk to people.

[01:08:09] [SPEAKER_12]: It's harder to build confidence in making a big move

[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_12]: when like any conversation about it has to be like,

[01:08:17] [SPEAKER_12]: so what are we doing?

[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_12]: Are we going to do this?

[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_12]: Are we doing it?

[01:08:22] [SPEAKER_12]: We're doing it.

[01:08:23] Okay.

[01:08:23] [SPEAKER_12]: Like it's just harder, you know?

[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_12]: Well, if the leftovers had to form outside,

[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_12]: like it probably doesn't happen.

[01:08:29] [SPEAKER_08]: It's funny that the specter of DJ Showtime

[01:08:32] [SPEAKER_08]: gets raised this week because that he was pivotal.

[01:08:36] [SPEAKER_08]: That it was his, he was HOH, right?

[01:08:38] [SPEAKER_08]: And we saw that and it was, you know,

[01:08:41] [SPEAKER_08]: they were all in the backyard

[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_08]: and Kyle had to like pull DJ Showtime aside

[01:08:46] [SPEAKER_08]: and said like, hey, like it's Joseph.

[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Like we're gonna take out Joseph.

[01:08:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Right?

[01:08:52] [SPEAKER_08]: That's how it all went down.

[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_08]: And then, you know, in front of Joseph's very eyes,

[01:08:57] [SPEAKER_08]: he had to like watch Kyle throw him under the bus.

[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_12]: Yep.

[01:09:01] [SPEAKER_12]: And we weren't sure what was gonna happen

[01:09:03] [SPEAKER_12]: because he had to do it in front of him,

[01:09:04] [SPEAKER_12]: but Kyle went for it.

[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep, right?

[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_08]: It was Kyle, Alyssa Too, DJ Showtime,

[01:09:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Old Quinn, what is it?

[01:09:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Turner.

[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_08]: And DJ Showtime.

[01:09:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.

[01:09:22] [SPEAKER_11]: Now my worry though is that week,

[01:09:24] [SPEAKER_11]: we kind of got to see that,

[01:09:25] [SPEAKER_11]: but a lot of that we did not get to see on the feeds.

[01:09:28] [SPEAKER_11]: So hopefully it's not a repeat of that,

[01:09:29] [SPEAKER_11]: especially since there's not an inside of the house

[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_11]: to watch on the feeds.

[01:09:32] [SPEAKER_11]: That's my only worry is we're going to miss

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_11]: a lot of the feeds and maybe surprised.

[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_11]: That's the main question.

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, Connor.

[01:09:39] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, good questions, okay?

[01:09:41] [SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_11]: See you next time.

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_08]: Take care, bye.

[01:09:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, all right, let's go to Julianne, okay?

[01:09:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Julianne, how are you?

[01:09:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Hold on, Julianne, we don't hear you yet.

[01:09:54] [SPEAKER_08]: I might need you to,

[01:09:56] [SPEAKER_08]: I know you're having some issues getting connected.

[01:10:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, Julianne, let me have you

[01:10:06] [SPEAKER_08]: reconnect and then I'll come back to you, okay?

[01:10:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, and we'll come back to Julianne

[01:10:14] [SPEAKER_08]: and let me go to Kristy.

[01:10:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Kristy. Hello.

[01:10:17] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you? Hi, I'm doing well.

[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_16]: I'm great, I'm excited to be calling in.

[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, excited to have you here.

[01:10:22] [SPEAKER_08]: What's going on?

[01:10:24] [SPEAKER_16]: I was just gonna ask if you're gonna be really brave

[01:10:28] [SPEAKER_16]: and try to get someone into Big Brother,

[01:10:31] [SPEAKER_16]: what's your strategy?

[01:10:32] [SPEAKER_16]: I mean, have you had success with that much?

[01:10:37] [SPEAKER_16]: Is there a season you recommend watching first?

[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that Taryn might be,

[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_08]: have some more experience with this.

[01:10:46] [SPEAKER_12]: I mean, obviously I think season 10

[01:10:48] [SPEAKER_12]: is a really good one to show.

[01:10:52] [SPEAKER_12]: I believe it's on Netflix.

[01:10:54] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it was on Netflix at least,

[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_12]: I don't know if it still is, but maybe it is.

[01:10:59] [SPEAKER_12]: So yeah, especially if it's on Netflix.

[01:11:01] [SPEAKER_12]: I think it's just, it's a very good to watch.

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_12]: At this point, the only issue with it

[01:11:05] [SPEAKER_12]: is that it aired in standard definition,

[01:11:07] [SPEAKER_12]: which might turn some people off.

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_12]: So if you, if it's somebody that you think

[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_12]: might be turned off by that

[01:11:13] [SPEAKER_12]: and you need to go like an HD season,

[01:11:18] [SPEAKER_12]: I think, you know, you could maybe say 17,

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_12]: you could maybe, I mean, honestly,

[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_12]: like people who are new to the show

[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_12]: tend to like the more straightforward seasons

[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_12]: like 16 and I think 20 is a decent start as well.

[01:11:38] [SPEAKER_12]: So, you know, I think, yeah, something in those,

[01:11:41] [SPEAKER_12]: probably not anything like 21 plus at this point.

[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_12]: Like obviously 24 has a great story overall,

[01:11:51] [SPEAKER_12]: but I think like definitely

[01:11:52] [SPEAKER_12]: is a bit of a turnoff at the beginning.

[01:11:56] [SPEAKER_12]: So the good thing about 20 is that it starts really strong

[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_12]: and it doesn't let up for a while,

[01:12:00] [SPEAKER_12]: but then kind of ends very limply,

[01:12:03] [SPEAKER_12]: which might not give them the best like taste

[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_12]: in their mouth.

[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_12]: Same thing with 17 where like the ending

[01:12:07] [SPEAKER_12]: might be disappointing to a lot of people.

[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_12]: So if for that reason, honestly,

[01:12:12] [SPEAKER_12]: people are gonna maybe raise the pitchforks,

[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_12]: but 16 might be a good place to start

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_12]: with an HD season.

[01:12:18] Okay.

[01:12:19] [SPEAKER_12]: All right, Christy,

[01:12:20] [SPEAKER_08]: are you gonna get somebody to watch?

[01:12:23] [SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, we'll see.

[01:12:24] [SPEAKER_16]: I mean, I'm always trying, but I don't know.

[01:12:27] [SPEAKER_16]: I think we all have experience with how that normally goes,

[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_16]: which is, you start to question kind of your taste.

[01:12:36] [SPEAKER_16]: You know, keep trying.

[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_16]: I'm impressed if you've had any success.

[01:12:40] So.

[01:12:41] [SPEAKER_12]: It's hard to go wrong with 10 as long as they're down

[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_12]: to watch the standard definition.

[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.

[01:12:48] [SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[01:12:49] [SPEAKER_12]: All right, Christy,

[01:12:51] [SPEAKER_08]: thank you so much for the call.

[01:12:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:12:53] [SPEAKER_16]: Thank you.

[01:12:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, take care.

[01:12:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Bye.

[01:12:56] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_08]: And Julianne's been popping in and popping out.

[01:12:59] [SPEAKER_08]: So if we get her back before we wrap things up,

[01:13:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I will put her back through.

[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_08]: But all right.

[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_08]: So here's where we stand.

[01:13:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Should be a good live feed update tomorrow

[01:13:10] [SPEAKER_08]: as we get more information about what's going on.

[01:13:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll be there at 11 a.m.

[01:13:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Then we've got of course the summit coming up tonight.

[01:13:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Join us in about an hour and 45 minutes

[01:13:23] [SPEAKER_08]: to watch the premiere of the summit.

[01:13:24] [SPEAKER_08]: I believe that show is 90 minutes.

[01:13:25] [SPEAKER_08]: So it'll be about,

[01:13:26] [SPEAKER_08]: we'll probably be on for about,

[01:13:29] [SPEAKER_08]: you know, somewhere between the 90 minute area.

[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_08]: There's no commercials,

[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_08]: but we're gonna be having some fun along the way also.

[01:13:35] [SPEAKER_08]: And then we've got all of the Survivor stuff

[01:13:39] [SPEAKER_08]: kicking off next week,

[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_08]: starting with the draft on Monday night.

[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_08]: And then that's some fun announcements

[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_08]: coming up next week as well.

[01:13:51] [SPEAKER_08]: So stay tuned.

[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, let me see.

[01:13:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's try Julianne one more time.

[01:13:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Julianne!

[01:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Hello.

[01:13:58] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you?

[01:13:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm doing good.

[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Turns out I just had to take out my AirPods.

[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, yeah.

[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_08]: That'll happen.

[01:14:05] [SPEAKER_08]: How have you been?

[01:14:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm doing good.

[01:14:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm in my new apartment.

[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, how is it?

[01:14:11] [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty good.

[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Been slowly like moving things in,

[01:14:17] [SPEAKER_03]: but we're getting there.

[01:14:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Better than the BB backyard?

[01:14:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Way better.

[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, so what's going on, Julianne?

[01:14:26] [SPEAKER_03]: When Angela was taking off the block,

[01:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: everybody was going, Angela Giesling.

[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I get why, but I don't know

[01:14:34] [SPEAKER_03]: if I quite sign off on that.

[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think that maybe that it was a little bit

[01:14:38] [SPEAKER_08]: of like tongue in cheek.

[01:14:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I know.

[01:14:42] [SPEAKER_03]: She's more like a cross between Josh and Vanessa

[01:14:45] [SPEAKER_03]: where they're kind of extremes.

[01:14:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Like Vanessa, obviously more strategic.

[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Josh, he's the goof.

[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:14:53] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, so what's going on?

[01:14:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Do you have a question, Julianne?

[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I think a lot of questions really haven't answered.

[01:15:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm still surprised everybody's out in the backyard.

[01:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[01:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: It's almost kind of like

[01:15:11] [SPEAKER_03]: food of survivor week or something.

[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Survivor week, yeah.

[01:15:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Julianne, who are you rooting for?

[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Definitely, one head of household,

[01:15:21] [SPEAKER_03]: but like Taryn, as you were saying,

[01:15:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if she'll make the right move or not.

[01:15:29] [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I mean, it's one of those moments

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_12]: where it's like, you're prepared for disappointment

[01:15:35] [SPEAKER_12]: that she's not gonna win,

[01:15:36] [SPEAKER_12]: and then when she does win, you're like,

[01:15:39] [SPEAKER_12]: wait a minute, we might still be in

[01:15:41] [SPEAKER_12]: for some disappointment.

[01:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.

[01:15:43] [SPEAKER_12]: Do you wanna see her win?

[01:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Make sure.

[01:15:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's my money, but I don't wanna win.

[01:15:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Really?

[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Julianne, how did you think

[01:15:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Jerry O'Connell did last night?

[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, he was great.

[01:15:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Did you see him on Twitter all day, Taryn?

[01:16:02] [SPEAKER_08]: No. He's like mixing it up.

[01:16:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.

[01:16:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he's been posting.

[01:16:07] [SPEAKER_08]: He's picking on Scali.

[01:16:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I didn't see that.

[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[01:16:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Wow.

[01:16:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Now both Julie and Jerry

[01:16:16] [SPEAKER_08]: have both commented about Brian Scali.

[01:16:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh my God.

[01:16:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I never thought Julie would get mixed like that.

[01:16:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm, yep.

[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Julianne.

[01:16:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, well thank you for calling in, okay?

[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Good luck in the new apartment.

[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, if you have one quick question.

[01:16:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay, go for it.

[01:16:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Is Quinn a patron?

[01:16:34] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't believe so.

[01:16:36] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, sometimes people are,

[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_08]: and I know he listens to the podcast,

[01:16:40] [SPEAKER_08]: but I don't believe even Joseph.

[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that sometimes people just listen to the podcast.

[01:16:47] [SPEAKER_08]: And sometimes people are patrons and we don't know them.

[01:16:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, you know, Andy is somebody that, you know,

[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_08]: people that call into the shows

[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_08]: that I get to know pretty well over the years.

[01:16:57] [SPEAKER_08]: But I had never seen Quinn or Joseph's name

[01:17:01] [SPEAKER_08]: over the years.

[01:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, because Quinn gave a shout out

[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_03]: to Taryn's of all people.

[01:17:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, did he listen to the slobs?

[01:17:11] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't think so.

[01:17:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe, I mean, he seemed to be pretty familiar

[01:17:15] [SPEAKER_08]: with Mike Bloom's work earlier today.

[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Patrons have a better track record.

[01:17:20] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, there's thousands of patrons,

[01:17:22] [SPEAKER_08]: so I don't know necessarily,

[01:17:24] [SPEAKER_08]: like he might've been under the radar.

[01:17:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's true.

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I was kind of under the radar for a long time

[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_03]: until I called in first time.

[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, all right, but now if you're on the shows,

[01:17:36] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna know who you are, Julianne.

[01:17:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[01:17:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, all right.

[01:17:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Taryn, it was great seeing your cat on the feed

[01:17:44] [SPEAKER_03]: for the updates.

[01:17:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, okay.

[01:17:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Julianne, shout out to all your dogs at the new crib,

[01:17:53] [SPEAKER_08]: okay?

[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[01:17:55] [SPEAKER_03]: All my neighbors.

[01:17:56] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, take care, Julianne.

[01:17:58] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, you too, thank you.

[01:17:59] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, there you go.

[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Taryn, what's next for you?

[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_12]: Well, we got that summit thing.

[01:18:07] [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, coming up tonight.

[01:18:08] [SPEAKER_12]: That's coming up soon.
