[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_03] Hey, what's up and welcome back again to RHAP Presents Big Brother Unlocked. Unlocked! It's me, your host Chappelle, back again to talk about this show which has given us so much but taken so much from us. And with me, I have an esteemed panel to talk about some amazing guests, some amazing moments, and even Jerry O'Connell. It's Mary. Mary, welcome back.

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_00] I'm so excited to be here for this episode of Unlocked. You know, it was the BB Awards. This is the second award show we've already had in this season of Big Brother. So, you know, maybe we'll do our own awards here tonight. Who knows?

[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_03] Maybe. Maybe. Yeah, Mary, now that you pointed out, I don't know if Big Brother is running out of ideas or not, but with the big boss man all over the TV screen, Rob being in LA, Mike Bloom being in LA, we needed a big guest to come in and reach out to us. And really bring some spice to this episode and talk about these big moments. And with us, welcome back to RHAP, Ms. Felicia.

[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_05] Good evening. Thank you guys for inviting me. I appreciate it.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, thank you for being here.

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_05] It's been a fabulous season. Oh my God.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_03] Oh yeah. Thank you so much for coming and staying up late with us. Were you surprised to see that we were going to be going alive so late in the evening?

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_04] Yes, I was. You know, I'm trying to keep my energy alive. I'm a morning person.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_03] We saw you in the house. We know how you get down.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04] Uh-huh. Uh-huh. At 10 o'clock, it was like, it's 10. We getting in the bed. Turn these lights out.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Listen, I won't keep you too long, but we do have to talk about, and I'm so excited to get your opinions about this show and also the episode and the season and all of the things in between. And so thank you all to the live chat for joining us here for this late night episode, talking about Big Brother Unlocked, but also talking about our boss and friend of all of us watching this for sure, Rob Cesternino.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_03] Mary, how did you feel seeing Rob as just like hard launched into the Big Brother community, you know, the canon of the show?

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, I mean, I was excited when his TikTok was played a few weeks ago. So seeing him on the actual show and, you know, I know that Mike Bloom here, he's mentioned by Devin's last episode at the end. He got to test out the comp two nights ago. And then tonight, like, I feel like every time they pan to that audience, they were just front and center on Mike Bloom. So, yeah, it really does feel like, oh, look, look at our friends on the big screen.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_03] Yes. Yes. Miss Felicia, would you ever go and co-host Big Brother Unlocked?

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, absolutely. Yeah, I would love to do that. I'd love to go in there and do commentary. I said, man, I could go in there and do those award things. That would be so much fun.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, I thought they did really good tonight. I thought Chelsea standing in this Taylor was, you know, for the Taylor spot was pretty fun. What do you think about Chelsea and her hosting role?

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_04] She did really good because I thought, oh, where's Taylor? But she actually feel and she was very natural. So it was good. It's actually it's good, I think, when they switch it up from time to time.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, it felt different. Mary, what about you?

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. And, you know, I don't have the timelines officially down. Was this a confirmed Taylor filming the Traders situation? Is that why she wasn't there?

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_03] So Big Brother Unlocked filmed yesterday after the show, if I'm not mistaken. And so, yeah, I'm pretty sure Taylor is very busy doing something else, Mary. You know, alongside Felicia, Miss Felicia, one of your friends is also going to be apparently doing the Traders. What do you think about Jag and Taylor being, you know, in another reality TV fandom now?

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_04] I'm upset because I want to be in that in that castle with them. You need to be in that castle with them. You know, man, if I was in there, Taylor and Jag, this is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. I'm wondering, well, depends on who all the other people are that are in there. But I think they'll do great. I really do think they'll do great.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, at this point, we've been saying for years and years, you know, no one has yet to make the Big Brother Amazing Race Survivor full circuit. But yeah, we're still getting three shows out of a lot of these people to two of the CBS plus a Traders or a Challenge. So, you know, at some point around here, we're just going to have to say they've they've kind of officially it's like the EGOT of reality TV, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. Because this will be three for each one of them.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_03] So, yeah. Oh, man. And Jag is undefeated right now, if I'm not mistaken.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, I was going to say he hasn't lost. So now if he wins this one, OK. You have to call him the king.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_03] Well, I'm glad I'm glad we're talking about Jag because this week on Big Brother, the house guests were put in a very tight situation. We had a double eviction and there was a chance to either get out Yash, the season's challenge beast or be a more strategic threat. Miss Felicia, you have been in the house with a challenge beast who was immune for weeks and weeks and weeks. How do you feel about the move to eliminate Yash here instead of D?

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_04] I was really disappointed because I feel like, Melody, you went to the trouble to nominate D and Devin. And then when you have to do the renom, you. Drew, what were you thinking? And I said, I really believe when they went in the back, she was she was hoping that she was going to convince him to not give his vote to keep D. And but they were so determined.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_04] We got to get out Yash because he's the beast player. But again, where is that going to lead your game now? Do you think that D and Devin are going to carry either of you to the end? No, they're not. I don't think so. I think this was a blow up to Melody's game. Absolutely. Because I think Yash would have stayed with Yash and Taylor would have stayed with D with with Devin's. Look at me. Yash and Taylor would have stayed with Drew and Melody.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_04] I don't believe that Melody's probably going to go next week. If they keep Melody, it's only because they believe that she's not a threat. She ain't going to beat him. And that's the only reason for keeping her. Because I think D, just because she put them up on the block, D's going to put Melody up on the block.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_03] Mary, do you agree?

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, this was kind of a no win situation here. I think like on face value, it's one of those things where putting up since Devin's took himself off with the veto, replacing with Yash, you look at D and Yash and you kind of have to say, well, if either of them go home, at least that's sort of better for my game. You don't want to run into a scenario where if she put up Drew or if she put up Taylor, they go home instead.

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00] And it feels even worse, you know, because now you've got both the icons and Yash still in the game. So I can kind of see that just from like the outside perspective. But yeah, I mean, it was really it's it's hard because I think she really just wanted Devin's to go. And then once Devin's couldn't go, she's had some deals and some relationship with D that have kind of been on and off. Nothing super firm.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_00] But I do think that the D and Devin's like I think it was Jerry who mentioned tonight, like they're both or actually I think it was James Gunn. They're both very good at like that last minute right before the eviction campaign kind of thing. And they're both very intense. And so I kind of feel like, yeah, this is this was tough. I feel like Melody's been in a bit of a no win situation for a while at this point in time.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00] I'm not really sure who she could win against if she wins a few more comps and make some other big move between here in the end and goes to the end with maybe maybe Drew. Like maybe Taylor. Does she have a chance? I'm not really sure.

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_04] I think the only person that she can probably even trust now is Taylor because Drew is going to throw her under the bus the first opportunity because Drew is really saying you're my friend. But when push comes to shove, bye, you got to go. And D and Devin's are going to do the same thing. And so the only person she even has a chance with now is Taylor. And she'll probably go along with them and say vote out Taylor. So, I mean, it's just all I just hate the fact that twice you've had them up on the block together and you have not been able to get either one of them out.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_04] That is crazy to me.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, it's a tough spot because if she does leave Yash in the game, Miss Felicia, what is Melody supposed to do with Yash there at the end? If he goes and wins nine, ten challenges, how do you even debate whether or not you should win the game? I mean, you saw what it did for Jag. Jag didn't even have to really make a lot of strategic decisions after a while because nobody else could touch him.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_04] But every once in a while, depending on what the game is, look at Melody last night. She won the veto and HOH. Who would have guessed? And so everybody's when it's your time, it's your time. And it depends on the game that they pick. I think they're very strategic in what games they put where based on who maybe they want to move forward. And so they know who's strong in what areas and who can do what.

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_04] But I still say when people become desperate, you'd be surprised at what they can do.

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_03] Yes. Miss Felicia, I know you have strong opinions about this season with the icons in the house. You got to let us know. It's BB Unlocked. How do you feel now seeing that the icons were able to come in and really take control of this game and get down to the final five?

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_04] Well, I have mixed opinions. I do believe if you can get to the end, then you can't you can't just say they weren't any good because they were able to get to the end. Even if it's crazy that the house guests were silly enough to allow them to get this far. Then the only people you can be mad at is the rest of the house guests, because you guys knew who they were when they came in. But I say shame on the production, so to speak, for giving them the advantages in the beginning of the game.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_04] If you're going to bring them in as icons, let them win fair and square just like everybody else. Don't give them no advantages right off the bat where they don't have to play the first HLH. And then the first couple of times they can't get voted out. And then that old crazy power where where, you know, Yash had renown. Now he can't put them up on. And I know all of that was just incentivized behind the scenes by production. I'm just saying it out loud because they wanted them to stay to the end.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_04] They raised the ratings this season. And again, it's all about viewership. They made the game exciting. They made the game interesting. But I really didn't want to see those two go to the end because I want a newbie to come in. This playing Survivor win. I didn't want I mean playing Big Brother. I didn't want Survivor to win Big Brother.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. And not to beat a dead horse about the icons thing. Like I've I've said, I do think that if you're going to bring back people from Big Brother, especially if you're if it's not a full all star season, I would rather see a person come back who was kind of put in there because they were a character, not because they were a super big comp threat or strategic player. So I think Angela was a good choice there, because I think when you see Angela come in, don't get me wrong. She had experience on Big Brother, which means a ton compared to new players. Yes.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_00] But I would rather her come in than say, like, bring back a previous winner or something or someone who is known for being super competitive because, you know, she's going to be good TV. She's going to be rating and bring ratings and everything. And then when it comes to the people from other shows, like I would love to see and I have loved seeing what people from other reality shows can bring to Big Brother. But I want them to be on the same playing field as the other. Yes.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_00] The benefit is that they've played or like their advantage is that they've played a previous reality game. Great. Like let's D and Devons are both great Big Brother players. But like Felicia saying, don't hand them extra things at the beginning. Don't you know, don't don't do friendship bracelets. Don't do instant first HOH. Don't do, you know, whatever. Whatever. When when America's voting for prizes for people like, I don't know, that one's out of my hands. And like, I feel like this has been the least talked about thing. Maybe I'm wrong.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00] Maybe people are talking about this all the time. I mean, we say the survivors, the survivors. The fact that there were two of them from the beginning. Yes, I think was the biggest advantage to them. We talk a lot about like, oh, if you have a showmance, that's a, you know, an automatic benefit because you got two votes. Yes. They've had a built in alliance from the beginning. Yes, from day one. That is going to be stronger than anybody else in the Big Brother house, unless they have like a secret son or something, you know.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_04] She had a built in alliance and then they knew Izzy was a fan and then they knew Corey was a fan and then they knew Matt was a fan. So they, they, Sari had a built in alliance right off the bat that, that people really weren't aware of. And so I think when you give people those kinds of advantage, it really is unfair to the everyday person that's just coming in that knows nobody except for themselves and they come in blind and then you give people advantages where they have two or three people rolling in that, you know, are going to roll with them all the way to

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_04] the end. Why do that? If you're going to bring in two, bring in two Big Brother people and one

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00] survivor person. Oh yeah. Yeah. Okay. Or one of each or, or like, cause I mean, you know, if you, if you take away the Jared of it all, like Sari coming in, got fewer advantage besides Jared. That was a huge one. I can't like understate that. But like, if he wasn't there, like she wasn't handed as many advantages right off. I think she had one week of safety when she first came in, right? Like she wasn't allowed to be put up. But you know, but it was just, she was by herself. She didn't have other, you know, she wasn't set up to be like,

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_00] we are. It was more, yeah, I was going to say it's more like Rachel last season. Was Rachel, I'm trying to remember, was Rachel handed any advantages right off the bat?

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_03] I think she got the first week off as well, but that was it. I don't think anything else.

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_00] No. Yeah. So, you know, I mean, obviously like it's, it's, it's always like a production move of wanting to have, you know, more, more ratings and have a draw to the show. I get that. I completely get that. Would it, would it be enough of a gimmick to draw people to the show if they just did a all newbies twist, like, like the season that they had, everybody had a secret partner,

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00] like that kind of thing. Or, you know, exes or dating couples or whatever. I know we have, they've seen that before, but it's been years and years. Do that again. Yeah. Do that again.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_04] Where at least the other people in the house don't recognize the, the somethings, you know, cause when you get people that are fan based and I mean, it's like D and Devin's were able to drew just, he couldn't stop. He couldn't help himself. He was just drawn to them. He was willing to throw Barrett under the bus, Melody under the bus, uh, Mallory. He just threw everybody under the bus to stay with the icons. Miss Felicia, I hate to say this, but if

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_03] I ever played big brother and you walked into that house, I'm sorry, I'm a fan. You, you, you the icon, you the icon. How would you feel if you were in that situation where you come in, you've played before you have this big target. Everybody knows you. What do you want? A little bit of a advantage.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_04] I actually would prefer, prefer to play with, if I went back in the house, I'd want to be in the house with all other people that have been in the house before, honestly, because I do think, I do think it is an advantage that is not fair to the people who don't have that advantage and it can hurt you. It can help you. You know, I don't know if it would keep me in there longer. If they say, no, we got to get Miss Felicia out right off the bat, bam. You, you, you don't know how it's going

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_04] to play out. I really have to say, I'm stunned that D and Devens, that that house wasn't smart enough to take them out earlier in the game. I I'm really stunned at that. If CBS called you next

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_03] year and said, we need you to come back, but you're the icon. You, are you going to come back?

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_04] Miss Felicia. I don't know. I actually, I wouldn't mind, I wouldn't mind going back in,

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_03] but man, 85 days, 90 days. Look at your DPOV. We're going to vote for you.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_04] Miss Felicia, don't play with me. Don't make me waste my votes. See, I don't know if I see myself

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03] as an icon. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Just stop. That's incredible. You know, so here I'm

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_04] going to say, so like we watched the new season of traders where it just started and everybody's a nobody, so to speak. And I actually, I actually applied and they told me that I couldn't go in this season because the one that's because I was an icon and I said, and I looked at the people in there. I said, I bet I could walk in there with that crew right there and not a single person in

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_03] that room would know who I am. Nah. They wouldn't know who I am. Mary, would you target Miss Felicia

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_00] if we played big brother? No, of course not. I would never target, look, Miss Felicia, my, my mom has a necklace with a mustard seed on it. So every time you said faith and mustard seed, I thought of my mom.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_03] So no, we would bond. Sorry. Sorry. I understand the feelings toward the icons, but when it's my favorite icons, I can't complain. Cause when Ceree came in, I was like, man, I love Miss Felicia. I hope she teams up with Ceree. So, um, so let's talk a little bit more about big brother unlocked. Have you been enjoying the unlocked episodes this season, Miss Felicia? I've watched about three of them. I'll be

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_04] honest. I watched about three. They haven't been bad. Um, I wish they would actually bring, so here I go. I wish they would actually bring in more, um, past BB house guests as their celebrity, somebody that comes in. Now, again, I think again, it may be they're broadening their viewer base and

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_04] they're trying to get celebrity, other celebrities that are fans of the show. Um, I don't know. I, I kind of got mixed feelings on who they bring in as their, as their special guest or whatever, but I do think it has been good. It has been good. Taylor, Taylor and Derek do a great job and they have had some great, uh, celebrity guests on there. And Jerry, it has. Yeah. I was gonna say it has

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00] felt like this season has been more hosted by Jerry. Is it me? He's like hosting, then he'll throw it to

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_04] Taylor and Derek. Yeah. I think they really are trying to make him become the lead versus, them carrying him. He's kind of carrying them. So he's, he's kind of taken, well, you know, the view went off or the talk went off. And so maybe this has become his new platform.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. It's feeling like, uh, he, he definitely got more character moments throughout the season. You know, he gets this award, um, as well. Um, Mary to what, to Ms. Alicia's point, what did you feel about James Gunn as our weekly celebrity this time around? He's done it before.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Um, I honestly forgot for a second that he had been on last season and every time I see, um, every time I see him, I'm like, Oh, it's James Gunn again. I forgot about him. Um, I mean, I, I know his, his brother, uh, Sean Gunn more because he was on Gilmore Girls and I was a big fan of that show. Um, yeah, uh, yeah. Kirk on Gilmore Girls, fun fact. But, um, but yeah, I mean, he, he was, he was interesting to be on there. He was definitely bringing some survivor

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_00] love to the show that we haven't seen as often, um, on, on Unlocked. Not that I blame other big brother contestants for rooting for, you know, big brother newbies. That makes sense to me. Um, but I thought it was, I thought it was cool that he was there. Like, you know, he brought a, brought a different point of view. Yeah. He loves him some Drew.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_03] Drew. He likes Drew. He likes Devin's. Devin's. Yeah. He loves him some Devin's. Yeah. I can't complain about survivor love. I do like survivor. Uh, and we have some survivor love here on this podcast, uh, backstage. I believe that one of the stars of big brother unlocked this week, uh, should be back here, uh, ready to pop in as, uh, can, is Rob here? Yes. Hey,

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02] yes. How's it going? Good. You were fabulous tonight. Amazing. Thank you so much, Felicia. How are you doing? I am doing wonderful. I'm doing wonderful. Yes. Happy, uh, BBs to everybody.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_03] The second annual. Rob, you were so good. You're so, you're a natural when it comes to this stuff.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_02] How, what was your experience like? I had, uh, the best day yesterday. It was, uh, so it was really, it was, it was so fun. Uh, I, I flew out Wednesday night and then they filmed the show after unlocked and, or after the, the, and even it was such a, uh, cool night to be there for the double eviction also because, uh, it was so exciting going into that. And, you know, it's just, you know, um,

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_02] Felicia, you know, when, when, when you're there just to see the whole like operation of, yes, it's just, it's crazy of that. There's so many people there's you're like, uh, like the props there's people riding around on bicycles and golf carts. And just like, you, you really like you, you're watching like the, the, the show in the feeds and you see like four people in the backyard

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_02] and you just don't realize like, uh, the cast of hundreds and hundreds of people who are running around like, uh, doing, doing everything to make this all happen. I mean, they were doing, they did a double eviction on Thursday night. Then they went right out of, out of the double eviction into, uh, big brother unlocked at the same time, big brother unlocked is happening. Uh, Vince is in the house talking to the house guests. They're, they're setting up the HOH.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_02] There's guys, guys coming out with the blockbuster. They're coming in, setting up the next thing. Uh, it just was like, uh, so wild that, you know, everything that's, that's going on. And it was, uh, just such a fun, cool experience that I had.

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_04] You have to applaud CBS and production, um, our house productions for their ability to have all those moving pieces come together. It's amazing.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_02] And not for anything that, so they, and that all was filmed last night and then, you know, it was on the air, uh, this, you know, by, by tonight. And there was, and they, they filmed so much stuff for that and they really have to like, uh, get it down to like, uh, you know, a tight hour for the show. So it was just really, really cool to see. I was very, I really was very, very grateful that, uh, I got the call cause I thought I was going there. I thought I was like going to like

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_02] come out and there was, I was going to like get out like one award. Like I was going to say, okay. And the award for best survivor moment was this, the guy, thank you. Good night. Uh, so I wasn't, I really was surprised, uh, how much I got to do on the show. Yeah. Yeah. You got to come in and sit down in a chair and put one leg up. Yes. I was very, I was very, uh, surprised. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_00] Did it inspire you to want to do a, uh, Rob has an award show? Yeah. I think an award show would be

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_02] fun for like, uh, like the podcast moments of the year. So I like, I I'd be very open to that. I just like, uh, you know, like we really need somebody just to take the ball and run with it and like set it up. But could you, Matt Chappelle, could you imagine like the politicking behind the

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_03] scenes for the RHAP award show? I think that at that point you have to reward the reality shows, you know, at the end of the season, we've talked about at the end of the year, we've talked about so many shows that maybe we're just going back and we're talking about those moments that you missed, you know, the moments that happen like, okay, boom, let's talk about Angela and the egg, but then let's also talk about the coin flip. Yeah. It couldn't be about the podcast. Cause I clean up, you know what I'm saying? I ain't trying to, I ain't trying to toot my own horn by two, two.

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. So it would have to be like the reality star moments of the year. Felicia would have done so well. Yes. She said she didn't think she was an icon, Rob.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_03] How many times did they bring you back? Of course you're an icon.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_05] No, I've only come, I've only gone back once. But you had your competition. Yeah.

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_04] Now I say, you know, I listened to them give out those awards. I said, man, I wish they would have given out these awards the year that we were, the year that we were in the house. I said, I probably could have got most entertaining

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_02] and not intentionally. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We Cedric, the entertainer, not even young Cedric.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_03] Did you get to talk to Cedric, the entertainer? They did. They acted like he was a part of the show.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_02] They did. But, but I think that I didn't realize this. Usually big brother unlocked is on at eight o'clock, you know, and, but tonight the Cedis was on at nine. I didn't know. And I think it's the fourth annual Cedric award. I didn't know that that was happening. Yeah. I accidentally tuned

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00] into that first. I knew the game. Yeah. And, uh, I did actually think when, when it was mentioned that, that Cedric was going to be one of the guests on unlocked, I did think it was, um, Felicia's season Cedric that they were talking about.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03] No, that was last year. Chelsea. Yeah. 20, right. 20. Yeah. Was it 24? 25? 26? 26.

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_00] They all have been together the last couple of years. Yeah. Um, tell us, tell us a little bit

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_03] more about, you know, your interaction with Jerry, with James Gunn. Oh, Jerry. Jerry is wild.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02] Felicia, have you ever met Jerry? I've never met him in person. Oh, he's, he is like shot out of a cannon. Like, uh, he's high energy. He's like bouncing off the walls and he keeps it up for like the whole, the whole time. I don't know how, like he, how he does it. Uh, but he was, I mean, he was why he was like, uh, he's twerking. He's running around. He was like, uh, he was in the house

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_02] and, uh, and I saw people on social media saying like, Oh, this is how Yash got sick. I mean, had gotten sick and was healthy by the time that he did that yesterday. Uh, so that, that was, that Jerry O'Connell did not get the big brother contestants sick. That's not, that's not what happened. But if anything, Felicia, look at, look at the squalor. Look what, look what happened.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02] Especially now, you know, that can we, uh, shout out Lala, what she had to put up with in this messy, dirty house that we got to see some angles that we never saw before.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_04] See, that's the piece that people don't really get. And even when the camera kind of catches stuff, when you have 16, 17 strangers moving to a house in sheer space, when I tell you it can get grungy in there, it is disgusting. That was the main reason why I tried to control the kitchen because I was trying to keep the kitchen clean to get, to control the ants and just even, you know,

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_02] the kitchen was, if she's putting up with this at home, shout out Yasha's mom. Yeah.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_04] Drew's mom. I am telling you the bathroom. Oh, yeah. We, we saw some angles of the bathroom.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_00] We also saw some angles of Jerry that we don't normally see.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_03] He's naked, but in that bathroom. So there is no way I would get in that shower. I've seen

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_00] the way these people live in. I couldn't believe he got in that shower. I'm like, oh my God. What are we doing with Big Brother this season? Is it a kid's show? Is it a family show? It's, we zoomed in on Jerry's nipple. What are we doing? The wreck nipple. Per Britney.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02] That's yeah. You get to see how cold the water was.

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. Crazy. But the water is cold. I'm going to say this. Rob, would you ever go in the

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_02] Big Brother house? I would go in the house. I, I, I really don't know if I could, I don't think I

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_04] say go in the house. Would you ever do Big Brother? That's what I'm talking about.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_02] You know, I would really, I would love to do like, if they ever did like some kind of like shorter one where they took people from other shows, I would love that. But that was when I was a young man, that that was my dream to go and be on Big Brother for three months that I don't think I think my wife would leave me. I really think that it would be, that would be it.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_00] She wouldn't be filming videos with the kids.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02] She wouldn't be as supportive as Becca Devins, like watching and cheering me on. She would be, it would be like a reverse Angela where she would just be like shouting at the live feeds, like things for me to do that aren't getting done at my house.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_03] Your HOH letter is just basically her with a list of chores for you when you get back.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. Yes. It would be done and this and this and this. I had that, I went to the Big Brother Unlocked for 48 hours. That was, that was a lot.

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. That's what I'm saying. People don't realize the time that, you know, when you actually think about, cause I was gone actually like 120 days total. Yeah. You played the longest season. And then the being in the house and then it was a hundred and that's four months. Yeah. A third of the year I was gone. Literally.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_03] And you would do it again.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_04] That's what I'm saying. I'm just like Rob, if they did a short season, 30, 45 days max.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_02] Well, that's why I have to give it to Rachel who's done it so many times and then she came back last season to go and do it. And so, um, it's, it's really, uh, just, it's such a commitment to do it, but, um, you know, I see the appeal. I just don't think I could, I could do it at this point in my life.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_03] We'll make you an icon. We'll give you some advantages, Rob. It's delicious. Come on. We'll make, we're going to make it work out, worth y'all a while. See, I can really work for a big brother casting. Cause I can talk y'all into it. I was like, Hey man, we go get y'all the first five weeks off. All you got to do is sleep. You know what I'm saying? It'll be okay.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_04] Maybe if they raise the prize to a million dollars.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_03] That's what I'm talking about.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_04] You know, I'm like a survivor can be in there for 26 days, 30 days and get a million. You know, why can't big brother get a million dollars for, you know, a hundred days, 85 days.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_00] The question we've been asking for 20.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_04] Amazing race is a million dollars. It's like, come on.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Yeah. Um, what was it like?

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_04] Oh yeah.

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_02] I was going to ask that, uh, Felicia, can I ask you, have you, have y'all talked about, uh, Jag on the traders?

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_03] We have. And Ms. Felicia said she would, she would be more than willing to go play your game.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_04] Um, yes, I want to do traders so bad. What was that experience?

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, that's that listen, uh, that I think I was on big brother unlocked for longer than I was. But yeah, that was, that's really, that's, that's also very fun, but also very different than a big brother. Cause it's like, you're it's, it's very much like, you know, big brother is like, you are in there a hundred days. This is like, all right, now you're playing the traders and then you're, you know, then you're, then you're off for a little while. Like it's not necessarily

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_02] all, um, game all the time. Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. So you're filming and then you're not

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_04] filming and then you're filming and then you're not. Okay. Yeah. Traders is like, you go to work

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_02] and then you come home and then go, and then go to sleep and then she applied for this season.

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_03] They told her she couldn't come on because she's an icon. Look at that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Listen,

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_04] it was in the one that's the one now where it's all new and they didn't want any icons. Now the one that Taylor, they're going to be on the one that's after this. Yes. Yeah. Season six.

[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Yeah. Mary, I'm sorry. I interrupted you. I was going to say, what was it like, uh, being on unlocked and just looking out and seeing Mike bloom right there? You know, it's a, what a big Mike

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_02] bloom day. Like 10 times sightings everywhere. Not just Rick Evans spotting him, but really he was like in the front row at unlocked and it was really fun to like look out and see him there the whole time. I didn't, uh, run into him at all. Like, uh, he was doing, he tested the blockbuster on Thursday.

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, I heard it did not go great. No, he was awful. Yeah. And wow. He didn't get any. And I think Julie cheated.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. That, that, that blockbuster was harder than it looked. Yeah. It was harder than it looked.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I was impressed with melody. Yeah. Mike was in Mike was in the audience. Uh, that, uh, that some, some Brittany had wondered where, uh, was Mike bloom and Derek going to rekindle their rivalry from a couple of years ago, but no, everybody's, everybody's in good terms.

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Miss Felicia, tell me more about that blockbuster being harder. So did you do a competition like that? Like what was, what was your experience like with the cops while you were in the house?

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04] Well, you know, I didn't have to do one like that and probably good because balance stuff I'm not good at, but I got to do, um, Otev. I got to do, um, what's the other iconic one? I did the wall. It looked crazy. I got one. I got to do the one where you had that, those big long tweezers trying

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_04] to move those little pieces inside the thing. Yes. Yes. Um, and those were the three big ones that I wanted to be a part of that. I got to actually do, uh, you know, I was so grateful that I didn't have to do the balance beam because again, I'm not, I don't, I have, I probably would have fell off that thing and broke my neck. And then I was glad I didn't have to do the last one that they did.

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_04] Um, holding the pressure cooker now. And here's the funny. So this year I looked at, they gave him sweatsuits and look, clearly it wasn't cold. We did it. Those guys were just whatever they had on. They didn't tell them where they were, you know, what we were going to be doing. And it was an ice box and they froze in there. And so it's amazing how each year they change

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_04] up the, the, the climate of what they do that, that in. So. Yeah. And it seems like this season,

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_00] they've really gone all in with all of the competitions. They have costumes. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I think the last couple of seasons that they've really, uh, gone like all in on like the costuming and I think it makes such a big difference. It's like, it's been like really, like, uh, I want to say maybe what Felicia in your, your season, I feel like was, I thought that was like the cost, but I feel like that like 26, it like started like them, like really doing a lot

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_04] more costumes. Yeah. Because there were times where we just wore our clothes. Yeah. Half the stuff that we did, people were just in their clothes. The last couple of years, it seems like every competition they're costumed out. Even the people who aren't playing like in the video are all dressed up. Yeah. Yeah. Because it was, if you weren't, if you weren't playing, you were just in your clothes, but yeah, everybody, no matter whether they were part of it or not, they, they were costumed. Mm-hmm. Um, so that's, that's interesting.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_03] Ms. Felicia earlier, you mentioned that you would like to see more past big brother players coming in as unlocked guests. Um, we did see some past big brother players, you know, kind of featured on unlocked on the, one of these awards, I believe we had Howie and, um, you know, all these random big brother players. Are those the type of guests that you would like to see moving forward?

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, because I think I would, well, the one thing I have to give CBS credit for, if they like you, they like you, but I think sometimes it, they get carried away with bringing back the same people over and over and over again. And they've had, I think they said 300 and something people, 338 people give all of those people a chance to walk in there and do something.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. All of them, Felicia, every last one.

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04] Well, maybe not all of them, but you know, spread the wealth. That's what I'll say. Spread the wealth and let some other people come, come in and, you know, be remembered.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_06] Mm-hmm. I could see that.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_04] They really do bring back a lot of people over and over and over again. And then I'm sure there's some people who say, dang, they never call me.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Who do you think is going to be their go-to person from this season?

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_04] Uh, probably Yash. Lala. I think you might get a Yash, a Lala, maybe a, you might get a, who's still in there now? They, they might bring back a Drew.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_03] What about Jason? You think they bring back Jason? He was a big character. He won most entertaining house guests.

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. They, they just may, they actually just may. Uh-huh. Jason, Jason would have a good chance of coming back in. They had a great cast this year. They could bring back, honestly, any of them. I really think this is probably one of their better casts in quite a while. They all actually seem to pretty much get along. You know, there's always going to be a little bit of conflict where you can tell people just really don't, but I think they had a great cast. Yeah, I agree. Um, what did

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_03] you think about some of these awards? We had Brittany Haynes and, uh, our own Rob passing out these awards. Um, we got not nominees for best dining table blow up, Rob. That was the one for that Brittany hosted. I think we had Angela and the egg versus Jason Taylor and Lala versus Drew Rome and Haley, uh, Jason and the teapot. Uh, we had some big moments this season, Rob. Yeah. There were a lot

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_02] of big moments and a lot of like, uh, confrontations at ceremonies, which I think it was, uh, Felicia, I think that that was pretty uncommon, uh, in other seasons where this season it was that they would have a ceremony and they would fight at the ceremony. There were blowups at the ceremonies and

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_04] they made a point to capture those blowups. Yeah. What was the biggest, what was the biggest blowup you were a part of Ms. Felicia? Um, it was the one where after we did a, I think it was a veto ceremony and America, I asked a question to Corey and America answered for him. And then we got into it and it's like, and Corey's like, Felicia, how about we, we go outside and have a sidebar conversation.

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_04] Just me and you. I said, no, no, no, no, no. Cause that's when you'd be doing all that line. I want to do this right here where everybody can hear the conversation. Cause I was tired of people making up lies and saying, I said, he said, she said, no, we're doing this right here. I think that was our biggest. Well, that, and then when we voted out Jared and he came back in the house and then, and then me, Sari, Jared and Mimi was in the back and we pissed each other. That was the crazy one.

[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_03] That's my favorite one. You had made that final two with Jared. And then you were lying

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_04] through your teeth. Well, no, but see, here's the thing. And I, me and my husband just talked about this. I never made a final two with Jared. What I specifically said to Jared is I'd almost rather be in a final two with you than with Sari. That was the comment. And I never mentioned it again. I never said, Jared, do you want to do a final two? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You threw it out there,

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_03] but you ain't really, really did. Okay. I see you still playing big brother.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_04] Cause I was irritated with Sari that we had gone upstairs and she had basically the whole conversation that we had had with Jag down in the room. She went up there and told the whole conversation and then tell him Felicia, tell him, you know what they said? And then kind of put me on the spot. And I'm looking like, wait, wait, wait, wait, how did I get in the middle of here? And so I was heated about that. And I remember I said something to Izzy. And then I said something to Jared. And my exact comment was, dang, I'd almost rather be in a final two with you than her. That

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_04] really pissed me off. And I just kept on talking. And so then when he said you made a final two with me, no, I didn't. I never said, Jared, do you want to be in a final two? And you never answered.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_03] Yes. I love it. I love it. Oh my God. We should have gave you the award for that season. I would have been happy to make sure Rob presented that to you. Rob, you presented the best tier. Yes. Best single tier. Sure. Mm hmm. It seems like they gave that one to Angela. They forced it. Yeah, they forced it. They zoomed in on that tier on purpose.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, they wanted Angela to get that. Angela didn't need that one.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Rob, did you, did you have any thoughts about any of the awards that you did present?

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_02] You know, I did like the award for the like best hosting that was, I figured out what. The bad accent.

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, I think Cody should have won that one personally. It was just so absurd what he was doing.

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_04] I think Drew did really well. That was so hilarious.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_02] I'm going with the bullet from the old West that he did that wanted an accent.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. I go with the sleeper pick. I'm going with Haley giving us nothing on the wall competition. She's like, oh look, it's Bigfoot. Oh, yeah. That was so funny. She was so bubbly, you know. Oh, no.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_04] Right, right. That was Haley.

[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_04] Ms. Valisha, did you host comps while you were in the house? I think I did. I hosted one because it was right. I had won HOH in week three. So whatever came next, I think I was a host. And I never hosted a veto. I kept saying, dang, I want to host something. But nobody ever picked me to host a veto.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_03] I think you would have done well. Mary, you know, you're a costume person as well. I think you would have done well in some of these hosting spots.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, I definitely think that I was just judging Cody. But also, if I was given the chance to come back and host a competition, I'd probably be doing the same thing. Like, this is fun. Let's have fun with it. Like, you put the wig on, you put the costume on. And it's like, I'm just playing a character here. This is a good time. So I think that would be fun. I certainly think when they're hosting these really long competitions like The Wall, you know, it's also really funny with Haley.

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_00] Like, when you're exiting HOH and you have to host, I think it's hard to be, like, really enthusiastic about it. Especially if your alliance is not winning. That can be hard.

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_04] Your mind is more on, oh, Lord, they're going to vote me out this week.

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, that was the night that, and then the vote was that Melody stayed. And so she was really kind of going through it that night.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_00] Just got blindsided. Yeah.

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_02] She was having a rough week.

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_00] So I definitely think the sweet spot is being that returning outside person who has no stake on the game to come in and host stuff. Exactly.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_04] They did a lot of that this season, too. This is, they brought in more celebrity hosts, so to speak, for coffee that I've ever seen them do.

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_01] The Poison competition.

[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_03] We had Enzo doing the Meow Meow industries or whatever. Yeah. Yeah. There was a lot. Drew's accent.

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_04] They brought in a lot of house guests this year.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, it was very fun. It was very fun. Rob, you also presented Best Bribe. Are y'all just making stuff up? No, no. Best Threat. Oh, Best Threat. Best Threat. And then Dee's Threat was the bribe is what it was. Yes. Yeah. Some of these categories, I feel like they're going to waste all of it. Dee threatened Barrett.

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_00] He was the leg up when he was eating the Oreo. Yeah.

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, very similar to Rob when he put his leg up on Jerry. I recreated the moment. It's very good.

[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_00] Rob, was that a you decision or did someone tell you to do that?

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_02] Yes, that was, I did go off script to go. That was an impromptu move.

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_03] Go Jerry.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_03] It was good. It was good. Do you think any of these moments are as iconic as Big Brother is trying to make them seem? Because to me, they're trying to force the melody threat to Drew. Like, I'm going to like, if you vote me out, I'm going to kill you or something. I was like, I think it's fine.

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_02] Sometimes they, there was like, they had like two or three. And sometimes, you know, you're sort of like padding out the category to get it to five. Because that's what an award show is. You know, I think that there was a couple of times like with the, like, there was probably like, you know, three or four good, like diary room crash out. And, you know, you got to just round it out to five. Yeah.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_02] That's the, to me, that's the best one.

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_04] Devin's one was actually a good one. The D, although I didn't like him when she did it. Cause I'm like, okay. And I see Barry better than me. Cause if she had walked up to me and put up on that couch like that, I'd be like, oh, this ain't working. You can do that with them. Don't you do that to me. We ain't even playing that. Go sit down.

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_03] Little girl.

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_04] That's probably what I would have said.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_03] Would you have had a diary room crash out? Did you have any of those your season?

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_04] No, not really. No. In fact, all the crying that they do. I don't think I cried in the house one time, except for, you know, when I found out that my brother had been in a car accident, but it was never over stuff going on in the house. Yeah. I guess I just never, I don't get that emotional.

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_03] Mallory certainly got emotional. She ends up winning this one. I think her rant is going to go down in big brother history. What about you?

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, I love the one Mallory. I think she should have won.

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I think that was the one I would think she did that. I think they made the category for her. Yeah. Oh, of course. I feel like the moment you see her in that diary room, it's kind of like, all right, we got to give it to her.

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02] They should call the diary room crash out in the future the pipe queen award. Yeah.

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_03] And Mary, it was hard for me to really just be on the pipe, the pipe queen train.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Yeah. But what a great nickname.

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_03] So yeah, that's another iconic moment. She's got a few under her belt. Yeah.

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_04] I bet she's looking back now though and saying why, you know, here's what I say to people. You don't ever throw a comp or give like, I bet y'all she's saying right now. Why did I let that veto go to Drew? Why did I do that? I knew when he did that, he was gone.

[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_04] It was a mistake.

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. That's tough.

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_04] You don't ever deliberately lose a competition. Our season, they did that the whole season. Everybody was trying to lose. Nobody wanted to win. That's terrible.

[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, I agree. We were trying to give Yash the benefit of the doubt, Rob, on the podcast. I remember Taryn being like, you know, they were out there for 12, 13 hours. You know, it's a long time.

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_02] Maybe he was on his last leg. I don't fault Yash that much with the Drew thing because it wasn't necessarily like that Yash was going to. I think Yash was fading. I think it was one of these things where he knew he didn't have much in it. It seemed like that Drew could go longer. So I feel like that that one, I don't think that Yash let Drew have that one. I think that the thing that Yash really should kick himself over was keeping D over Angela. Keeping D.

[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_04] That was his dumbest move. Oh my God.

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, not great in hindsight. And we'll see if Drew in a couple of weeks looks back at like, why did I keep D over Yash? Yes.

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_06] Yes.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_02] On that note, that I have to go to, I'm going to tomorrow that there's a Survivor 51 kickoff that they're doing in New Jersey at the American Dream Mall. And so I have to jump on, I get on an early flight in the morning. So I just wanted to come on and say hi to everybody. Thank you. And Felicia, can't wait to talk to you again. Chappelle and Mary, thanks for having me. I'm going to jump off, but have a good show. Okay. Thanks for coming.

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04] Thank you. White man's a star. I'm going to be right behind you. It's 11.05.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_03] We about to wrap this thing up. Mary, is there anything else from the episode that you want to talk about before we get into the spoilers?

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_00] I did. And Rob just left, but I did love him presenting the best quote award to Yash and saying, Yash! Like Drew had been in the pressure. That was, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_03] I know Rob said that Yash probably wasn't going to win that competition, but Mary in the DR, he's telling us that he threw it. He's like, I could have gone all night. You know, I was never going to lose that competition. Do you think he believes that or is he trying to make himself believe that?

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_00] I don't know. I never trust diary rooms when it comes to talking about the competitions. Um, but I like whether or not people threw it or won or whatever. Um, yeah, I, I don't know. I don't know if I, I, I fall to my, I just agree with, with what y'all were saying about, like, I think the big mistake Yash made was, was keeping D more than, more than throwing the veto because he wasn't, he was HOA. She wasn't going home there. So it wasn't a must win for him in that situation.

[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_00] But, um, plus, you know, Barrett went out and that was not like, that wasn't terrible for Yash.

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_03] So I don't know. Anyway, I want to set up the button at the end of the episode. Uh, this, this, um, Pharaoh's curse, Mary, uh, can you tell, can you tell us anything about this?

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_00] So, um, right. So we have this, uh, Vince comes in and he, and he's going to be hosting the, the, uh, HOH. I think it's the HOH. Yeah. I wrote down tiny veto on my notes, but I don't think it's a veto. Yeah. Tiny HOH competition. Um, and, uh, yeah. Before we do that, we get a sort of a throwback. This is something that we had done in earlier seasons. I'm trying to remember if it was season two or season three or four.

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, that's season three. When, um, Lisa and them are all in different rooms. They have to press the button. They've done that.

[00:50:07] [SPEAKER_00] But I, I, I feel like I also have a memory of a similar, like, do we keep the money? Do we split the money thing that Dr. Will was a part of too? So they've done this a couple of times, um, in early seasons, but they, they all have a button. And if, uh, if you, if nobody pushes the button, everybody gets a thousand dollars. If somebody pushes the button, whoever pushes it first gets $10,000. Um, Felicia, would you push the button?

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_04] Well, I thought about it cause I'm, it almost sounds like though, there could be a penalty or something. Cause I heard Taylor say, yeah, but we all know the behind the scenes that there might be a, something that happens. Now, if it was just straight, nobody's going to know when I'm pushing the button and I get to $10,000, I'm pushing the button. Who cares? Cause at this point she probably realized that she isn't going to go to the end. Anyway, I'm taking the $10,000.

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah.

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_00] And I know big brother 19, they had a very similar thing at the beginning. Um, and I'm trying to remember if it was Josh or if it was, um, it was Josh. Was it Josh who won it on, on that one too? It was several people pushed the button and then the first person who did it got it. And, uh, I believe it was some amount of money as well. Um, the Josh one. Yeah. I mean, personally, if I heard this and I, and, and I was pretty much told that there weren't any consequences like that, that no one would find out or whatever.

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_00] And especially that it's not like everybody else gets punished. It's not like they, you know, if they, if they were all on slop or something, then I think I'd be pushing that button and like, I'd be pushing it right away.

[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_03] Chad saying it was Kevin, uh, Mary who won that, that money. Kevin.

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_01] I was like, it was Josh or Kevin. I knew it was one of the two of them. Um, yeah. Cause who cares that everybody else doesn't get the money at that point. Right. Right.

[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_03] There's only going to be one winner anyway.

[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_00] So, and if I don't think I'm going to win the game that you only have to keep the secret for a few more weeks anyway. So ideally, you know, and plus at this point, it's kind of like with, you know, just don't throw competitions, try to win all you can try to win as much money as you can at this point, like do what you got to do. So I think I, I think I would take that. Um, yeah.

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_03] I don't miss the punishment either. I'd be fine with the punishment coming into the house. We don't do that often anymore.

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Yeah. I, yeah. Everybody else, uh, PB and J like, I've always been a fan of the food comps that they used to have. So yeah, those used to be good. Uh huh. They don't do that anymore. Yeah. No, not fun times. But yeah. So, um, I, I have not been following, um, the feeds in the last day to know whether or not this has been announced who won this or how it ended up going down. I don't know. Yeah. I haven't watched it. You know, we're not.

[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_03] Well, well, before we, uh, we'll talk about all of that and more, but if you want to tap out now, you know, we are going to get into a little bit of some spoilers from the live feed. I'm no Taryn. So I'm not coming in here with all the receipts, but I'd happily talk to you about what I do know. So if you are averse to finding out what's going on in the house, go ahead and tap out right now. Uh, and you can always catch us back again. I think Sunday's episode, uh, will be, you know, normal, regularly scheduled time.

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_03] And then the big brother schedule is going to get a little weird as we know these, that these next couple of days, they're going to have, you know, some accelerated stuff. Some, you know, it's going to get messy. So just make sure you're around when we, whenever we drop the podcast and check out Taryn's, uh, live feed updates every day for what's going on now. Uh, that's about as much of a warning I'm going to give y'all. Let's get into the spoilers. Uh, Mary. Yeah. This morning they did do the, uh, HOH competition and, um, uh, Rick Devins goes on to win the HOH.

[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_03] So the icon will make it to the final four. And the question all day has been, who is he going to put on the block? And so, uh, right before the show started, uh, and even I think during the show, um, Drew was begging. I'm talking about full on Vinny, the lip style begging. Don't put me up. Please don't put me up. I've always wrote for you. Devins don't do this. Don't do this. Don't do this. Follow him from room to room. Devins looked like he could like, like he would walk out the house if he could just to

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_03] get away from Drew because Drew is not letting up. And now we know who our nominations are. They have been locked in, uh, Melody and Drew are on the block. And so the showmans, the nomads will be broke up this. Oh my God. He put up Melody and Drew. He put up Melody and Drew. Ms. Felicia, what do you think about his nominations?

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_04] Ah, well, he put up Melody and Drew, but if one of them wins the veto, then Taylor goes up and they'll probably be goofy and vote out Taylor. If they're smart, they'll bring Taylor to the end because they, they believe they'll beat her. So I wouldn't bring Drew. Yeah.

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_00] Well, if that, so if, if, if Drew or Melody wins veto and Taylor gets on the block, then it'll be D and whoever won the veto voting with Devins breaking the tie. Right. Yeah. Basically. So it's still D and Devins controlling the vote this week. Yeah. So I believe they'll keep Taylor.

[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_04] So Taylor may, Taylor may make it to final three.

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. I think my guess is that they want Melody and Taylor to go with them. And I think they want Drew out this week, just, just purely based on who they view as having done the most and potentially getting votes. Yeah. I mean, if we talk about bad moves made in the game, Drew, I don't know. Again, I'm not sure we talked about it earlier, like hindsight being what it is. I don't know.

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, Yash, if Yash had was still here at this point, maybe he goes, it would probably be Yash and Drew on the block if he was still here. If Devins had won, you know? So I don't know how much is really changing.

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. It looks like. I hope, I hope Drew does go out this week. And then that's when you shame on him. And you say, see, see, see all of that goofy that you did, you messed up. You could have got out D or Devins. And you just kept thinking they were going to drag you to the end. And no, they just used you all this time.

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. At this point in the game, when you have this small numbers, really, if you are a potential threat to win the the only way to avoid the block is to either win competitions or have been in a extremely strong, secure two to three person alliance from the beginning. If you like Drew, he's got Melody. He was with, you know, D and Devins at certain times, but like not that like secure locked in.

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_00] I'm always with you in their eyes. Like Drew for a lot of it was really locked in with them, but just D and Devins don't view it that way. They viewed him as.

[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_04] Because he flip flopped too much though. He, the people that he swore he was the closest to, he drew just, you, you, he had no sense of loyalty. Let me just put it like that. He had no sense of loyalty. And I really believe that even if he made it to the end, he wouldn't get the votes because he, he crossed too many people. I don't think Baird would give him a vote. I don't think Melody would give him a vote. I don't think Yash would give him a vote because he, Angela wouldn't give him a vote. La la. So he's, there's no way Drew could win.

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_00] And even, and even when he, even if he hadn't been that flip floppy, it's more just the perception of him is being that way. And they just, they don't view him as being, uh, you know, as loyal as, as he claims to be. So yeah, it's a tough position. I think like four or five weeks ago I had discussed on one of the podcasts about like, what could Drew do to change his perception to come across more loyal? And I, you know, it just didn't work. Cut his hair. I don't know. He just looks weasely.

[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_00] I don't know.

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_04] All day long. You see, I mean, you saw yesterday where Julie's like Drew. We're waiting on you, man. And he's still standing in the mirror, just putting his hands through his hair. It's like this dude is so.

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah.

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. A little bit of odd behavior on that live eviction with like, uh, Julie really having to call, call attention multiple times to multiple people. It just seemed like he was really, uh, not sure what he was going to do.

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. They were going rogue. Um, so from my understanding, Devin's is targeting Melody here because he thinks that, you know, Drew is more loyal to him than he would be to D. And so Drew does win. He's more likely to take Devin's to the end. Uh, at that point D on the other hand is targeting Drew. She wants Drew out because she knows that she could probably end up beating somebody like Melody. And if she does, uh, you know, Melody will take her to the end over Devin's.

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_03] And so, you know, now it looks like the icons have the chance to start deciding, okay, well, do I want to go to the final two with each other or do I want to take one of these people who we perceive as easier to beat to the end? Ms. Felicia, what do you think if you were the icon, you're in this situation, we can got you to the end. We gave you a DPOV. We gave you all the things you made it. What do you do when it comes to choosing who you want to sit by?

[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_04] Loyalty only goes so far. And, and you have to manage the jury because you still got to think about what have you done to make people give you their vote and say that you played the better game. But at the end, 750,000 is 750,000. And I'm with D, I'm getting rid of Drew. I'm getting rid of Drew and I'm going with Taylor and Melody.

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_03] Okay.

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_04] Um, I do believe that Drew will, I believe Devin's will keep D before D will keep Devin's.

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_06] I do believe.

[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_04] I agree. I agree with that. Really? I believe that Devin's, I believe Devin's will stay more loyal to D just because he's still thinking about the survivor fans. D on the other hand is saying, uh, I'm taking this. And the only way I can take this is not to sit next to you. I'll take my chance with anybody, but you, you got to go.

[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_00] I think in a final three scenario, if D and Devin's are both there and one of them win the final three, I think they probably both choose to take that third person to the end. I think they're both cutting each other in a final three. Um, probably, but I, I could like trying to think we're, uh, are we at final five or six? What's I lost track of the count. Um, we're five right now. We're five right now. Like, is it too early if Devin's like, if, should he be trying to get rid of D right

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_00] now?

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_03] If he wins the veto, he could put her on the block.

[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Like, is that, is that the best move or is he then, you know, then he would be vulnerable at the final four.

[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_04] I think if he, if he wanted to seal his game, uh, if he had, if somebody came down and he has to put somebody up and he put D up, oh man, he would seal his game. Even in the jury house, they'd be like, oh man, he was, oh, he was a bad boy. He even, he, he had the gall to cut D. Oh yeah. You got to give it to him.

[01:00:50] [SPEAKER_00] I'm going back and forth because I feel like the downside would be if D, if D wanted the final four, I mean, we know it's only important about veto at that point. So it kind of doesn't matter. And if D was already gone and someone else won, then again, it only matters. You know, maybe Devin should just get rid of D this week. Maybe that is his best move. It does.

[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_04] I think both of them, you know, I think about when we were in the house and it was five and it was me, Sari and then, uh, Matt, Jag and Bowie Jane. And we kept trying to tell, I told Jag and I told Matt, I said, if either one of you, I told Matt, I said, if you sit next to Jag, you're not going to win. I told Jag, if you sit next to Matt, you're not, there's a good chance you're not going to win. Matt should have won that, but Matt didn't sell himself. Jag ate him up when he gave his speech.

[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_04] That's what won him that game. Because I believe a lot of those guys were still on the fence and more, and were more apt going into the vote to give it to Matt because he was the more likable person. But Matt didn't know how to give that final speech. Um, I think it's the same thing where if you're smart, you don't sit next to the person that you have the biggest chance of losing against. You just don't do it. If you want to, if you want to guarantee that money.

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah.

[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_00] And I think at this point, if anybody takes an icon to the end, they're like in the final two, they're not winning. Cause just the jury would say, why'd you take them to the end? Exactly.

[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_03] That would be crazy. But if you're Devin's and you get rid of, uh, D here, um, you still have drew who might take you to the finals or you can probably beat them. Uh, you know, in a competition, you have melody as well, who you could probably be in a competition. And then the three of you could go after somebody like Taylor and that kind of solidify your spot in the final three. And if you're in the final three against drew and melody, I don't hate your chances there as far as getting to the final two. And then, you know, once an icon makes it to the final two, I don't know if everybody

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_03] just gives it to them, uh, Ms. Felicia, you have been pretty anti icon this season. If I have to say, if I do say so myself, but that said, if Devin's or drew make it to the end, would you be able to, you know, maybe say, okay, well, I know you're an icon. You made it to the end, but I want a newbie doing this.

[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_04] I'm giving it to Devin's over drew all day long. Yeah. I'm giving it to Devin's over drew all day long. I'm giving it to D over drew all day long. I'm not giving it to Devin's. I don't like Devin's gameplay. I mean, not wait, take it back. I'm giving it to Devin's over drew. I'm giving it to D over drew. I didn't like Drew's gameplay.

[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_03] Okay. What if you put, uh, Taylor in that spot against Devin's and the, are, do you say, okay. I'm giving it to Taylor. Okay.

[01:03:29] [SPEAKER_04] Giving it to Taylor. Yeah. Melody. Last option. And I say that because I say the fact that Taylor was always playing really from an underdog position and the fact that she was able to still stay in that game and be strategic enough get the vote tossed off of her onto somebody else. I think she deserves to win because she didn't have any of the strong alliances that they did. Right. And the fact that they, in their minds carried her to the end. No, you allowed her to stay there just like they allowed them icons to sit in there when it was stupid.

[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_04] I'm giving it to Taylor all day.

[01:04:01] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Um, uh, Mary, I think D is looking at melody as her possible replacement final two for Devin's. If she doesn't take Devin's, then she would go with melody. Um, what do you think about melody potentially winning the game? Cause she'll have, uh, probably drew locked in at that point. She'll probably have Barrett as well. If it's against D she might, she might get, uh, you know, Yash maybe, I don't know how it was his relationship ends up being with melody. I think she's got two locked in votes with Barrett and, uh, and drew for sure. If she makes it to the final two, could you see her getting two more?

[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_04] She might, she, she might get, she might get a Taylor. I don't think she wins. So I think in the end, I think these guys, the competitive ones, anyway, they're going to say, uh, as much as I kind of hate to give it to an icon. Uh, she just played a bit. They were more strategic and melody was more of a low burner kind of, I don't know. I think it would be, it would be shocking.

[01:05:01] [SPEAKER_04] I would love to see a melody and a Taylor get, could you imagine if melody and Taylor made it in the final two years? That would be crazy.

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_03] They're going to have to lock in.

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_00] I think. I was going to say, I think Taylor probably wins that one, but I don't know where drew and Devens and Angela go necessarily in that vote. So I'd have to be, I think with melody, I need, I need melody to, if she wins one more pivotal challenge. And if melody pulls out a great speech at the end, I think she has a chance. Um, I just think we need both those things to happen.

[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_04] I think Taylor has the ability to pull out the better speech.

[01:05:40] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I could see that too.

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_00] Probably. I mean, I, I think of, of them, Taylor has. It's tricky. I feel like Taylor has been presented as more of an underdog. It's not that melody hasn't been an underdog. She's just sort of more, uh, vocal about not liking her position. I don't know. Like both of them, the, both of them have been in sort of similar spots, but I do feel

[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_00] like Taylor, especially in the first half of the game, but like kind of the whole time has been really working the social relationships more. Whereas melody kind of like found the people she likes and then just kind of has stuck with them. So. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_04] Although, although Taylor, I have to say, I, you know, like yesterday when, um, when they should, when Yash went home, she has a tendency. She has to go and get her something because she isolates herself real quick. Initially. It's like, she gets so mad and so hurt. She removes herself from the room.

[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_06] Mm-hmm.

[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_04] And I think now with two weeks left in the game, she has got to stop removing herself from the room.

[01:06:45] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. I see that.

[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_04] That's not working. That's not going to work to her benefit. She's got to figure out how to suck it up just like that and just stay engaged and not let them see how much it's impacting her.

[01:06:57] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. She got locked in. They all have some built-in votes. You know, we know Taylor's probably going to get Yash and Lala automatically. We know that melody will probably get drew and Barry automatically. So, you know, it's not like everybody's drawing, anybody's drawing dead against the icons, but it's just going to depend on how they're going to get there. And I guess we'll see more of that as we move through this, uh, the last home stretch of the season. Ms. Felicia, is there anything else you want to add before we get ready to wrap up?

[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_04] No, it's just, I, I, like I said, I think it's been a great season. Uh, I think they really did good with this cast. Some, some, some wonderful people. I've, I've loved the gameplay. And the mixing it up and not everybody voting in unison. And I think it made it for an interesting season. I love the blockbuster. I think the blockbuster, um, it allows more people to have to sit on the block.

[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_04] One, it gives you more opportunity to remove yourself off the block. And I also like the fact that they've moved more towards competitions where it's anybody's game. You know, for years it was, if you weren't athletic, you weren't winning nothing. Right. And now it's like the, the, the competitions it's anybody can win it. It's a lot of it really is by chance.

[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_04] And so I think they put everybody at all ages, genders, all of that physicality where everybody really is on more equal footing. So it does balance the game out more. So it really does make it a more interesting game. And I like that.

[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_00] I don't have the stats, but I think this season we've had some of the, the most, um, diversity among, uh, HOH winning. Like we had so many different people win HOH. Yes. Like we've only had, I think, I don't think anyone has won more than two HOHs individually.

[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah.

[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_00] I'm scanning through my notes on that. Josh one, two, Devin's one. I've got him down as two. It sort of depends if you count the, uh, medieval times thing as a, as another D win or not, then typically she would have three, but it wasn't an HOH. Um, but yeah, it's, it's been.

[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_04] I think each one of them had two. Cause like in our season, I think what Jag had what? 25, 30, you know, all of that. But I think in the, I'll be honest, the first half of the game was a little bit more cause initially they started off and it was like, no, please don't let this be another season where everybody's waiting to see what the house is going to do. And when they finally shifted that up and they, they started making some, some, some good moves, it became a very interesting and good season. I love it.

[01:09:33] [SPEAKER_03] Ms. Felicia.

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_00] And at this point, like everybody hit block. It's a lot.

[01:09:37] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, that's true. Everybody's been up there. Ms. Felicia, who do you think is going to win? You got to bet. You got to bet on one person who you putting your money on right here, live on the air. What do you got? Ms. Felicia.

[01:09:46] [SPEAKER_04] I'm saying Devin's or Taylor.

[01:09:48] [SPEAKER_03] All right. All right.

[01:09:49] [SPEAKER_04] All right. I'm saying Devin's or Taylor.

[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_03] Okay. We shall see. Mary, what about you? Any final thoughts for BB Unlocked and the season so far?

[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_00] You know, I, I enjoyed BB Unlocked. I would say in the future, my favorite parts are the hidden behind the scenes moments we missed or additional things. Like let's do a little more of that and a little less gimmicks. You know, like it's cute. Yeah. We all love intern Andy. I don't need, I don't need a scripted content in my big brother shows. So it's fine.

[01:10:22] [SPEAKER_03] God. Yeah.

[01:10:22] [SPEAKER_04] I do like when they show the behind the scenes stuff that we don't get to see, or at least if you're not watching the live feeds where the audience gets to see, because they show you some more real stuff. And I think that's actually the most interesting. That's the, that's the stuff people want to see.

[01:10:36] [SPEAKER_03] Agreed. Ms. Felicia, people want to see more of you. Where can they find you and what you have going on in your world?

[01:10:42] [SPEAKER_04] Uh, that, you know, I, I post a lot on my Instagram, a lot of times in my family, my husband, my husband, Dwayne and my son, Jair. I, uh, I still sell real estate here in the Atlanta Metro area and I do planet marketing. I'm a marketing rep that, that, that markets travel. And so me, that's why me and my husband are all over the place. We travel a lot, do a lot with that. And so I am out and about and doing my thing and I'm trying to live my life to the fullest at 66 years old.

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_03] Amen to that.

[01:11:11] [SPEAKER_04] And waiting to get my call for traders or anonymous or million dollar secret.

[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_03] Oh yeah, you down. Okay. You ready?

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_04] I can do amazing race. I don't think I could do amazing. Well, I'd love to do amazing race, but they have some very physical competitions that would take me down.

[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_03] I think you'd be okay. Mary, where can the people find you? What do you have going on?

[01:11:36] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, the big thing I have going on is I, I, like, I know it's a big brother podcast, but if you were, if you were at rap con or if you watched any of the footage from that, um, we hosted a lot of game shows and we had a lot of fun doing that. So survivor just around the corner and starting, uh, during the premiere of survivor, which I think is next week, uh, we will be doing Wednesdays before the show for patrons of Rob has a podcast, 7 30 PM.

[01:12:02] [SPEAKER_00] If you're a patron, come join myself and, uh, BB unlocks own Mike bloom from the audience. And we will be hosting a survivor game night. So if you enjoy that kind of thing, uh, come on out, there might be costumes. There'll be games. There'll be wigs. It'll be great time. Little prep before the survivor show. Get your hype.

[01:12:23] [SPEAKER_03] Loving it. I can't wait. I can't wait.

[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_04] Um, and then as far as I'm concerned, this is going to be a new season with all new newbies on survivor too, right? So that'll be fun. Yeah. No icons. No icons. No icons. No icons.

[01:12:35] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, Ms. Felicia, you are iconic. Thank you so much for joining us, Mary. Thank you for joining the panel as well. You can catch me here on RHAP behind the paywall as well, doing the slop, uh, for, uh, big brother. We, we, we get a little, we get a little raunchy back there behind the paywall. And so, uh, it's for members only. Uh, but if you want to see the sloppy content, definitely check that out. Um, I think, uh, I think my bloom might be showing up for that this week too. So a lot of my bloom content these days, I'm also joining, uh, David Bloomberg on YX lost.

[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_03] And we'll be talking about why the people who were eliminated just went home and following David's rules to decide what those things are. And so check that out. That should be in your podcast feed tomorrow. Uh, and then you can catch me on my podcast, recap, kickback.com, youtube.com slash at recap kickback. We're talking about a lot of stuff. We're talking about the snowfall spinoff called the drop right now. A different world is coming back to Netflix and me and Mari will be talking about that. Can't wait. Miss Felicia can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Uh, and we got so much other content, more content over there.

[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, G and I are talking about the Tyler Perry. Why did I get married series right now? Uh, we'll be talking about why did I get married again in two weeks? So yeah, so much going on. Make sure you follow me on social media at recap kickback on all social media platforms, but that's it y'all. This has been so much fun. Thank y'all for joining us for another big brother. Unlocked, unlocked until next time. Peace.
