Chappelle, how are you?

[00:00:54] Chappelle Unlocked is great. I love it. I love it. All right. Yeah. Let's do it. Here with us, we had a big announcement tonight, Chappelle. We learned the identity of the person who's coming into the house, the mystery house guest, big mystery. People were, had all these wild guesses. Nobody had it right. That big surprise. It was Dee Valladaris. And here with us, season 45 zone, Brandon Donlan is here.

[00:01:25] Every podcast needs a beta or a submissive. And I can do both. Okay. Give you a guy that can do both. Yes. Find somebody that can do both. And that's what we said. And here's Brandon. And we're so excited to have you here with us. And I, you know, I said this morning, I said, Brandon, we need to have you talk more about Big Brother. Your friend is on the show. Why aren't you talking more about Big Brother?

[00:01:50] Big Brother. Well, it's interesting is, you know, there were rumors about my friend going on the show days and days ago, but real ones didn't say anything. You didn't say anything. Didn't say anything until tonight. And now it's announced. So now I'm happy to talk about it. I don't want to be propagating rumors, but now it's not a rumor. So we're locked and loaded.

[00:02:10] Okay. We're locked and loaded. We're unlocked and loaded even. And we just watched the season premiere of Big Brother Unlocked, which appears sporadically on the Big Brother schedule on Friday nights. They also turned on the live feeds just now. Taron is off doing his job watching the live feed so that he may report on them to you for the first Big Brother live feed update tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.

[00:02:35] So be on the lookout for that when we get the full report of everything that happened overnight. We also, too, have live feeds on right now. We will bring you some updates on that as well. Right now, a bunch of people are in the kitchen. Not a lot's happening. Listen, this is what we signed up for. This is what I've been waiting for. I've been waiting all week, hell, all year to sit around and watch these people eat cereal, to whisper, to exercise.

[00:03:03] You know, it sounds bad when you put it like that, but make no mistake. This is what Big Brother is made of, okay? They're sitting around the table, but eventually they're going to tell us what's going on. Eventually, yeah. They started the live feeds tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Big Brother time. Objectively, maybe the worst time of the day for the live feeds when everybody is standing in the kitchen. Nobody's telling any secrets. Everybody is just making food. But we haven't had the live feeds in a year, so we're excited.

[00:03:32] Yeah, for sure. And I'm so happy that Taron is allowing me to step in as the Friday coverage for Chappelle Unlocked because somebody does need to be watching the feeds when I can't watch them. And so since Taron, you said he could do it, Rob. Tomorrow he's going to do it again. That's his whole thing. And so I can wake up tomorrow morning. I actually don't have to watch the live feeds. I like to pretend that I watch the live feeds. You get to watch it as a choice. I watch Taron tell me about the live feeds. That's what this is really made about. Yeah. All right. So we'll talk about the season premiere of Big Brother Unlocked.

[00:04:02] We'll take your questions as well and talk about everything else. But Brandon, how are you feeling about Dee so far? I mean, how fun. I love that I got to see three minutes in total of her in the game of Big Brother, which is what everybody wants is to only see a limited amount. But she looks like she's crushing. It didn't. I was trying to gauge the reactions of everybody once she walked in to see who recognizes her. And I don't imagine it's more than three or four people.

[00:04:31] What's interesting is you got confessionals from both Rome and from Kamu talking about her threat level. I wonder if they knew that or those were done after they had talked to her for a little bit. Yeah, I think it was after the fact. Yeah, because there's no way they could have done a diary room like that early on. And so I think that she's come to the house. Stuff has gone on. And then I think then they're talking about her threat level. Yeah, Brandon, I feel like I need to I need to break something to you.

[00:04:59] Dee is not your real friend because friends do not let friends go through this. It's like one. You should have stopped her from going on the show. But two, you have a time machine. You could go back in time. You could definitely. They might. They might have a time machine. But three, here's the problem. You him. This this is crazy. Why would she goes in the house and now you have to spend the next three months losing sleep and stressing out? I would not be able to. I'm going to do that anyway. I'm going to do that anyway. I was going to say I'm not going to be able to do that, but I'm going to do that anyway. And we ain't even that close.

[00:05:28] This is your best friend. How do you feel? Yeah, this is a weird one, because in the time that I've been like part of this world, I've never known somebody personally to be on this program ever. This is the first time and I'm not I'm not liking it. I saw Becca Devins's Instagram story this morning and she just looks so tired. It's only been 48 hours. Yeah. We got a long way to go, Becca. Yeah. So now I'm D's Becca. I guess in a real way I'm not, but I'm somebody that D knows. Yeah.

[00:05:58] And I'm thrilled. Speaking of somebody that Rick Devins knows earlier tonight at a podcast where Taryn and I talked with Dr. Christian Hubicki about his feelings about what's going on with Rick Devins. And so be sure to check out that interview. Very fun to catch up with Christian. And so. All right. We have D has entered the big brother 28 game.

[00:06:26] Hypothetically, how do you think it's going to go, Brandon? I think that there are not a lot of people in the world that can lock in the way that D locks in. And I know this because I know D. I know other people that know D. I'm in a room with one right now. When D went to the challenge, she was like, I'm just having fun. And D goes in the challenge and it goes it goes great, but it doesn't it doesn't accumulate in a way.

[00:06:53] When she goes to Survivor 50, I think there was a lot of I'm honored to be asked. And I want to represent the show. Well, not that she wasn't trying to win, of course, but it seems like these locked in on taking a W. And when you look at the group that she's with, it doesn't seem impossible that she can take that W. So I'm expecting a much longer journey for D than I am on the other folks that are with her. Will it be a fun journey? Yeah. We'll see. We'll see. All right.

[00:07:23] Chappelle, it was the season premiere of Unlocked that comes back in season two. What was your thoughts on what was different about Big Brother Unlocked tonight? Well, for one, I'm a little upset that they decided to scam us like this, you know, like really holding this carrot in front of our faces and being like, oh, you got to watch Unlocked to find out all the stuff. I was so annoyed because I was like, I don't want to watch Unlocked just as a concept. You know, don't get me wrong. Love to love to cover the show for you.

[00:07:49] But just to know that y'all gonna keep the good stuff from us, the feeds, keep them down and hide themselves just so we'll come here. I was already annoyed, but I did like the changes. I like, you know, them adding a third to the panel officially, you know, no more rotating panel for them. But also like kind of the way they handle, you know, kind of pulling back the curtain. You know, I really enjoyed seeing them in the dressing rooms and things like that. So there were definitely moments where I thought this isn't so bad, but I definitely felt scammed.

[00:08:18] Yeah, I thought it was an improvement from Big Brother Unlocked season one. It's interesting, the vibe, the setup. It's kind of like, would you say it's like they're at like some kind of like podcast nightclub where people are at bistro tables watching. How do you get tickets to be one of the people watching the live taping of Big Brother Unlocked? I don't know what I need that. I need that. I don't know why, but I just feel like I need it.

[00:08:47] What about you, Brandon? You gonna go? I don't think anybody in the room knew they were seeing Big Brother Unlocked. I think that they had tickets for maybe if you want to go to Let's Make a Deal. They're like, we need you to do one thing for us for 45 minutes. And then you get sat in the Big Brother Unlocked stage. I'm super curious as to, now this is my first ever episode of Big Brother Unlocked. I know they've been doing this for a minute. A lot of the material was so pre them going in the house. So what is week two through 14 look like at Big Brother Unlocked?

[00:09:17] What do they do with? So they do a lot of segments. They do a lot of checking in with other people. And they talk a lot about what's going on in the past that they watch a lot of clips of things that have happened and comment on different moments from the season. And so I think they had a lot of stuff that maybe they couldn't fit into the premiere. Yeah. And I think that in the future, Brandon, they're going to be cutting the feeds and saving some of the good stuff for Unlocked.

[00:09:45] You know, like you said, we got a lot of stuff from pre the show, which is perfect, right? We needed the extended package for Angela and Dee and Devin's, you know, to really get to know them. Because for us Survivor fans, we know Devin's and Dee. But for the Big Brother only people, they're like, okay, why are y'all so excited about this? They acted like that when Sari was on the show. They were like, why are y'all talking about Sari? You know, so we need somebody to really come in and highlight the greatest hits, why these people are here. They even did it for Angela, which is cool.

[00:10:13] I mean, no Big Brother fan probably has forgotten about what her greatest hits were. But I think that in the future, since they're not going to have that kind of pregame content, they're definitely going to be trying to build that content otherwise. But Rob, you remember in the old days, you know, Big Brother would come to your grandma's house and interview her about the show. And they bring your ex on and they talk about it. They need to do more stuff like that. Yeah, they did a little bit of that in Big Brother Unlocked last season. I hope we get more of that. And so we'll see what happens.

[00:10:42] We had some interesting things that happened. And we got the reveal of D. And let me play something that I think was an interesting moment. We had a little bit with Lala last night saying that she was not thrilled when, was it Angela came into the house? And then she was not thrilled when D came into the house. Listen to this. Y'all were on the same season together though, right? Yeah, we were on 50 together. Okay.

[00:11:11] Now see, the rules in Big Brother, you're not supposed to know anybody. Yeah. I didn't know that rule. I know a better rule. Shut your mouth. Stop telling people stuff. Auntie, LaTree, Lala, Amy, what are you doing? What are you doing? This is the second time she done said something on the show, on the aired show, where I thought, don't do that. And, you know, you can come back from it. But we want to talk about rules. Keep your mouth closed is a great rule.

It was really giving Christine Shields Markovsky of their temporary players. Temporary player. Now, I believe that Rick Devins was also trying to tell a story about like, yeah, we know each other, but it didn't go well.

[00:12:06] Like, that Rick is aware season 50 of Survivor has already aired, right? Like, why is he telling a fake story about something that didn't happen? There was no issue with Rick Devins and D in season 50. And he voted her out, which is a weird point to make of. It didn't go great. I mean. Well, maybe he's worried. He voted her out in like a 10 to 4 vote. It had nothing to do whatsoever with Rick Devins.

[00:12:36] They don't know that. It's an interesting play. I get, yeah, he didn't get the chance to fully pursue because Latrice was very quick with the, you guys shouldn't. With large exception, I guess people on Big Brother don't know each other. But oftentimes they do. Oftentimes somebody knows each other. All the time. They know each other. Famously. All the time. All the time. Since season 3, we pretty regularly have people on that know each other. And I mean, season 3, season, well, hold on.

[00:13:04] Season 4, season 5, season 6, season 7. Season 6, that was like the whole thing. Season 6. And season 7 was all stars. So about 50-50 on whether somebody knows each other. And season 8 was also they know each other. Season 9. Season 9, they did know each other. This happens a lot. Okay. And then sometimes it's not even by design. You know, Holly and Kat went to stagecoach together or something like that. You know, things happen in Big Brother.

[00:13:31] And Christy and Tommy is, Christy was Tommy's aunt's girlfriend's cousin or something like that. All that stuff. This is normal behavior. Latrice, be quiet. Mm-hmm. So. I'm acting like this. Yeah, I think this is an interesting situation with Rick and Dee. They are not on the same page. It's not like Rizzo and Savannah coming back for season 50 where they have a chance to get their stories straight. So they have not had the chance to premeditate what they're telling people about them. That they were fine.

[00:14:01] I did hear you speak with Christian earlier where Christian reiterated, but I will also reiterate, is that they are on very good terms. Yes. Like they very much enjoy each other's company. And I think, and I have a guest in a little bit that can speak to this also, but I think a thing that Dee reiterated to me over the past couple months is she wished that she got to work with Rick more on season 50. And regretted not doing so. Yeah.

[00:14:29] And not even regretting, but I wished that she would have. Wishing. I think the sentiment was she would have had more fun. Yes. So this is where you make up for that. They came a long way because if you go back and read the Dalton Ross preseason article that he wrote chronicling the trip to Fiji, the whole article is Dee just crapping all over Rick Devins about how annoying she thinks he is and how she can't stand him and how he is not going to.

[00:14:55] I thought Rick Devins was done after I read that, but she warmed up to him. She warmed up. Do we see on this show it circle back to where it started? There is a potential that that may happen. I hope not, but I can see a world where that happens. Small house. It's a small house. You know, people that you think that you once thought were annoying, you may think are annoying again. Mm hmm. Especially after 40, 50, 60 days. You know, it's a it's a long time in there.

[00:15:22] So we will tell you that you know, know that Big Brother is a marathon, not a sprint. Rob, Rick did lie about one thing. Yeah. He said his biggest moment in Survivor 50 was that hiding that idol and finding it at Tribal Council. So did he did he miss the Mr. Beast episode? I don't know. There was no mention in his highlight package. I noticed the same thing, Chappelle. No mention whatsoever about is Mr. Beast like not allowed to be mentioned on Big Brother. Why?

[00:15:50] That you would think that you have Rick Devins greatest hits. We talked about like season 38. I went on the edge of extinction and I came back. And then. Yeah. I played idols. And then like every single thing Rick Devins ever did. And then no mention of the like, did they make this package three months ago? No mention whatsoever of that. Oh, yeah. I also flip the coin and made the prize money two million dollars.

[00:16:21] The docusign is still sitting in his inbox. He forgot to hit the little initial button. Very weird. I mean, you had Drew last night saying, oh, it's the coin flipper, which I guess for Survivor, for people who only watch this show. Yeah. Coin flipper. But no, no clip. No clip from the coin flip. Yeah. Which is crazy because that to me, of all the things Rick Devins has done, that is that is that is the moment. Right.

[00:16:47] And so he talks about how he wants to be chaotic, which sounds about right. So I'm very concerned about Rick Devins. But one thing about him is that he's never been boring. The man doesn't know how to be boring TV. And so he's going to be here for a good time. Let's just hope it's a long time. Yeah. OK. We didn't get to hear from either of you last night about the saga of the premiere.

[00:17:11] And we revisited this a number of times in Big Brother Unlocked of Rachel Riley getting pushed into the volcano by the dinosaur. Chappelle, what were your thoughts as this happened? Well, OK. I have mixed feelings because you can't just murder Rachel Riley in front of me after what happened last season and think I'm going to be OK with it. You know, getting attacked by a velociraptor.

[00:17:38] That's new for Big Brother, which is hard to do because Big Brother will do some wild stuff. But I think I like that Big Brother leaned into the craziness. You know, they really committed to the bit. Rachel didn't come in and wink at the camera about being in. She was all in full form. Like, I'm here. She was doing all the Rachel greatest hits. It's nobody's going to come between me and my, you know, blah, blah, calling people. What was it? Trifling, you know, whores or whatever. You know, the old Rachel hits. Maybe she didn't do that in this one. But it felt good to have her back. And then I noticed the timeline. I was watching.

[00:18:08] I was watching social media and people were like just losing it. Like, Rachel's in the house. Rachel's in the house. And I said, oh, you know, for those of us who might have heard a rumor that DVD was going into the house, you know, I'm like, oh, this bait, this bait switch is going to be crazy because everybody's insanely. Like, obsessed with Rachel and what she's doing. You know, knowing the switch is coming, I thought, all right, this is going to be a really big moment. And I thought it was. I really did. I think Julie leaned in. I thought it was crazy.

[00:18:35] Now, to murder Rachel Riley in the Big Brother house is actually sacrilegious. And Julie, you need to go to jail. Prison. Under the jail. Don't do stuff like this. I don't care if you go back in time. Somebody go back in time and arrest Julie Chen. Did that answer your question? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Julie, she really took the whole thing pretty well. She was not affected. Just moments ago, a velociraptor threw Rachel into a volcano.

[00:19:04] So what does it mean for the others? What does it mean for the others? I do like that we've gotten to a place where it feels like everybody's in on the joke. Right. I think that we would do crazy stuff like this in years prior and they would not treat it as such. And now we don't, nobody cares, which I think is great. I, you ever see like a video on, on TikTok and it's like a, it's an AI water slide. And then you like watch it, the whole thing. And you're like, I don't think this is AI. I think somebody has a GoPro.

[00:19:32] I, I was so embarrassed that I believed it when Rachel walked in. I got caught. I texted you. I was like, when they said we're going to Vegas in the year 2010, I'm like, huh? Did D live in Vegas in the year 2010? And Brandon's like, no. That was my question. Yes. Yeah. That was my question. I was like, wait, why would D be in Vegas in that year?

[00:19:51] But you know, yeah, I think that because we're so used to the live feeders, the Big Brother fans and stands being so tapped in on anything secret in the Big Brother house. Right. We've been, we've been on the case for weeks and weeks and weeks. So I thought you finally got one past us. You finally got something past us. They did not. Well, not for anything. And I'll call him out. Jimmy. It's Jimmy all day on Thursday tweeting.

[00:20:19] There's a fourth person, which now makes sense. There was a fourth person. But I, as soon as it popped up, I, I really thought it was Brendan. I thought, because it's weird to have Angela, Rick D and not another guy. I'm thrilled that we didn't get another guy, but it made sense to me that it was Brendan. And then once it was Rachel, I still, I bought it. I'm like, wow, they got one over on us. But then she was murdered. And then she was murdered on the television at 930 PM. In a volcano. They got you. In a volcano. Her kids watch this show.

[00:20:49] I mean, look, don't, she, she was like dressed like, what, Wilma Flintstone. She looked good. But if you got to die, I guess you got to die looking, go out looking, looking great. Yeah. Maybe that's what that is. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know if the audience was ready for this. Yeah. I asked my wife, like, Hey, what'd you think about that? She's like, she's like, that was planned. Right. I was like, no. I was like, yes, babe. Like Rachel's dead. No, they really murdered her. They really murdered her. Duh. Duh.

[00:21:19] Check out Candy Crush this week. You know, you can see who's on it. No, I, I, I, I thought it was fascinating just because I, it did feel like for once they've managed to surprise us. We expect the unexpected so much on big brother that it's hard to catch us off guard and seeing Rachel go in, especially knowing, knowing how they did her last season. I'll take getting pushed in a volcano by a velociraptor over that hamster wheel any day. She tweeted today that she was making alliances in the house in the hour or two that she was there.

[00:21:49] I would love, do we think, do we see that footage? Do you think that makes it next week? No, I think we got like her discussion from big brother unlocked. Uh, I think that was it. Yeah. It should have been on unlocked. Cause I honestly, Brandon, that's what I was waiting on. I was waiting on. I was like, when they asked Rachel about people, she's like, Oh, this person's sweet. And this person's nice. I think they're all going to be good players. Like, no, who was in on your alliance? Who would you have put up? You know, you were in there for roughly an hour and a half. I know you got plans. I know you, you came up with something, but we didn't get off.

[00:22:18] We can ask her on chat BCC. Oh, you're on there. Is she back? Oh, she's on there. Yeah. Is she back? Oh yeah. She was doing a live stream on there. Uh, like 10 minutes ago. Oh my God. Yeah. She's alive. Everybody's doing live streams. She's back. This is the thing now. Yeah. I want to talk about, um, something else that happened with Rick Devins. We had another secret scene revealed of Rick Devins with Taylor.

[00:22:47] And we saw Rick Devins come into the house. And that Rick Devins was, you know, saying hi to everybody, giving hugs. And he kind of left Taylor hanging. She wanted to say hi to him. He ended up saying hi to somebody else. And she was not happy. She went into the room. She said that she is going to hold it against him. And so Rick inadvertently made an enemy at a Taylor.

[00:23:18] So quick. I do have to side with Eric Levins, which is not a thing I think I've done a ton in my life. Like he, you're, you're in there. You're talking to everybody. You miss, it's, it's 14 people. It's 15 people. It doesn't, it certainly doesn't feel good. There's no doubt it doesn't feel good. Why? I don't know. She was, she was really, really upset. I felt bad. Mm-hmm. I am not going to side with Derek Levins here.

[00:23:44] I'm going to side with Jerry O'Connell because listen, the lady did not have a blow up. She didn't freak out. She went into her, her, into her bunk and told us, I'm going to get him for this. And that's what we looking for in a player. We like when Tiffany Irvin was on Survivor 50, she's upset. She goes off on the beach, screams, calls people ugly, whatever, you know, whatever. She's writing her burn book. She does that. She said Jonathan is a skank. A skank. A skank. Like, he called it, she called him dead skanky, but she did it behind his back, which is what

[00:24:14] we like. And so I'm with Jerry, like, look, you can be upset. You can even hold a grudge, but don't act like you're holding a grudge. That's what, that's the difference. Yeah. And I'm not sure what the three hosts said and who, whose opinion was that I think it was, you know, not great strategy, but I also think she's going to be good television based off of this one moment that I have from her. The fact that she can get so upset over getting snubbed by Rick Devins.

[00:24:43] I feel like that. Okay. I understand why she's here. Right. That's what matters the most. Good TV. Yes. And we love that. So we'll see if that comes up. Rick Devins, no idea that this woman is plotting his demise. Not, not, not a clue. Not a clue. Yes. So we, we really love that. Chappelle, we had a Ceres sighting tonight.

[00:25:11] Ceres tips for playing big brother. You know, it's funny that there, there was a video that they posted of Rick Devins, like, Hey, meet Rick Devins, meet Rick from Georgia. And he's like, it's so funny because it's survivor 50. Ceres all the time would say how horrible it was to play big brother. And here I am. And, um, we got that from her tonight. I'm just so used to giving.

[00:25:41] And now I get to receive and the, in the words of the late, great Jocasta, you know, I, I get to receive. Ceres being on TV is, is what I always want. I don't want Ceres to ever play big brother again because she hated it, but we did get her tips. And one of her tips was Rick shut up. Yeah. And I love that because he tells us, this is what I got from Ceres. Big brother sucks. Well, she said, she says, well, since you're going to go in there, just make sure you stop talking because that's what made big brother suck the worst for her. She was tired of hearing people talk. Yeah.

[00:26:11] So she had five tips. Tip number one, settle in, put it on your seatbelts. Big brother's long. We know this. But she said she would rather be hungry than listen to the same conversation on repeat. And she, I felt like she really, uh, seemed to imply that Rick Devins might be telling the same story over and over again. Do you think that was a subtweet of Rick? Like I thought that was a subtweet at the, at the Bowie Janes of, of the world. I thought it was Bowie Jane too. Yeah. I thought that was BJ, but you know what? Honestly, uh, Rob, now Rick has better stories.

[00:26:41] You know, she was listening to his stories pre 50. Now he can talk about the coin flip. He can talk about the fake idol. You know, he's got some more ammo, ammunition. But did Bowie Jane have a lot of stories? I just feel like that Bowie Jane walked in a room. They're like effing Bowie Jane. I can't believe it. With that fricking, uh, like big stupid jacket. Why is she here? Did you see the clip today? And it happened during we were the 25, which I don't think I stuck with all the way through. But Felicia said about Bowie Jane, like people like her burn in hell.

[00:27:10] Was it Bowie Jane when Felicia was like, yeah. And go check on Bowie Jane. See what her ass up to. See what the hell she talked about. I love it. Bring her back. She says the quote and they cut it right at the feeds turn off after the word help. It was a very funny clip that I saw today. Three is rule number three. If they all disappear in a room, they're talking about you. Don't even bother following them in there that you know what they're talking about. Tip number four was get up early. I was like, all right, here we go. Oh, this is maybe some big brother strategy.

[00:27:39] No, get up early because everybody needs to pee and you'll be the last in line to pee in the big brother house. I like that. I like that because I think there's a lot of podcasts that dedicate their time to telling you how to win the game. Right. Again, like the podcast that I'm on every week with David Bloomberg, YXLoss, where we go through the rules about how to win big brother. But you also have people like Taryn who wrote a book about it. And they always talk about the strategy. But some of the questions, you know, Rob, when you were on Survivor, people always ask you, where do you use the restroom?

[00:28:08] And big brother, I think it's important to talk about, you know, how to maintain yourself over that time. Because if I have to wait in the line for the bathroom every day for months and months and months, yeah, it'd probably make playing the game a lot harder. Yeah. A lot of pee in this episode. [00:29:09] We had a segment all about something surprising. We found out that Ashley's favorite snack is opening up a can of peas and putting them in the microwave. And then she seems to be eating them like popcorn. Nobody's ever done this before. No. I think she's globally the first person to do this. Yes. She invented this. It's called the Ashley method. And Derek says, no butter, no salt.

[00:29:37] He had more questions. You have to imagine there's butter on this. You have to imagine. No, I didn't see it. She put butter on them. Is butter a natural pairing with microwave peas? But butter you put on like a vegetable that you cook. You know, corn you throw some butter on. Some flavor on it. But yeah, she was really roll-dogging it with the hand. She was scooping and inserting. Yeah. Diabolical. Yeah. We did get to see Rome's Pokemon cards. Decent collection.

[00:30:06] You know, I think people in the preseason were like, is he a nerd for real? Because he has trading cards. You ain't say Pokemon cards. That's different. You know, we thought you had a couple of baseball cards or something like that. A good old Mickey Mouse or whatever. But you know, you got Pokemon cards? Let's see them. Air them out. Yeah. I need to hear about that on the feeds. Can I give a fun fact about Rome that I learned today? Sure. Sure. So there's a TikTok clip going around. And it's somebody scrolling on Rome's TikTok.

[00:30:34] And every video starts with, if I had a daughter, she brought home a guy who blank. So I was so curious of what content he's putting out. So I go on his TikTok. And every video, and I'm not going to remember an athlete's name. But every video is, if my daughter brought a guy home and he didn't know who Hakeem Elijah Juan is, he's out. And it's that video a hundred times with different basketball cards. It's always the name of an athlete. It's always the name of an athlete. It's Hakeem Elijah Juan.

[00:31:03] It's, it's, I'm not going to remember any of the names. Yeah. I know Hakeem Elijah Juan was one. But it's a lot of that content. Brandon, you're out. I don't know any of those guys are. [00:31:32] I think, I think I caught Rome's following is maybe a 10K. And I think Yash has got a little more. Yes. That could Yash have a financial analyst off with Emily Flippen. They could have a haircut off. I know Emily loves to get a haircut. And I think Yash, I guess, gets one every two weeks. That was his surprising fact. He cuts his own hair. I hope he gets a new barber. Didn't they put a guy in here? Who like does that? Chuck. You don't have to do this.

[00:32:01] You don't have to cut your own hair anymore, Yash. You should let someone else try it. Mm-hmm. Please. And Chuck, what was Chuck's fact? He does a British accent. Yeah, but it didn't seem like his family was enjoying that. He's actually not good at doing a British accent. He killed that Dora the Explorer blink, though. He was like, you know, the heart blink. [00:32:29] I want to talk a little bit about Mallory, who I think has had like quite a week here on the podcast where she was really heralded by the panel when Puya drafted her on Wednesday night. Where, wow, Puya, you got a real steal. She's actually, she's not a nerd. She's a secret nerd. She faked her way into the show. I saw people congratulating Dan Giesling on, wow, we have a new person.

[00:32:58] She's not a nerd. She tricked casting. She did it. She's the new Dan Giesling. And now here we are 48 hours later. I do feel like we saw her playing the trombone and we heard her talk about her dream that she went into the house. She said she said this. So I was a meth cook and all the people were like zombies chasing me.

[00:33:28] And Taylor said that she called her at least like extremely tight and tense. All of her promotional stuff, she was very much in frame. She was in first position. Yeah. And there seems to be at least an awkwardness here. Have you ever dreamed of cooking meth? Never. Never. Yeah. Now look, zombies?

[00:33:58] Understandable, right? That's a decent nightmare. Okay. Yeah, I feel like that's pretty run of the mill nightmare. But dreaming of employment, even if it is meth, I think she's found a new level of nightmare. Stress dream. I don't know what's going on with this woman. Yeah, I don't trust it, honestly. I think I did watch the way people's perception of her changed throughout the week. It was like, oh, she has on glasses and a part. She must be Kelly or something. And then it's like, okay, wait, wait.

[00:34:28] She wears bikinis. So maybe she's a cool chick. Wait a minute. Then she's like on the NASA sheets or whatever. And they're like, wait, she's a nerd again. She pulled out the trombone. She's a musician too. Who knew? Yeah. She did have the whole Carson Garrett bedspread thing going on with the NASA pillows and the spaceship and stuff. It's like, I've seen that before on a close friend story that I think I got removed from. But it's a great situation what he's got going on. I wish her luck.

You know, with her spanking Taylor, I think that might have got over a few votes. I think she will win one of the six. But I think that it's going to be a returning player.

You know, Drew talked about his ridiculous hair where he like sleeps upside down like a bat to let his hair dry. That was odd. A lot of odd things. I didn't need to see Drew do that. That I didn't like. It's very scary.

[00:39:53] He better not sleep like that in the house. Was that Corbin on Love Island kind of gave that same vibe too? Like a corpse? Yeah. I know, Ball. But yeah, Rob, overall, I think we can move on because we got some spoilers. We got to talk about the feeds. Ladies, ladies. You know what I did write down in my notes? My final thought was you think you're friends with somebody and then you learn from their Big Brother intro package that they can juggle. I didn't know if he could juggle. Yeah. So with that in mind, we're going to talk about what we have learned since the live feeds have come on and anything else. [00:40:51] But in the meantime, for the first time in Big Brother 28, let's talk about the spoilers. The Office of Civil Defense has issued the following message. This is a spoiler warning. [00:41:19] The feeds are here, baby. Hey, you did it. Yes. And it was well before the live feeds. It was actually Hamster Watch who confirmed, I believe, on Thursday afternoon that D was indeed in the house. And not only that, D was the first HOH of Big Brother 28. Yeah. There's propaganda that has been going on in this community where people have been told not to win the first HOH.

[00:41:49] For the love of God, read behind the mirror. That's old hat. We win the first HOH. Get power. Prove that you cannot be trifled with. Get a house consensus and put them people on the block. Set the tone for the season. Go, D. Go, D. Okay. Go, D. So D has won the first HOH. And we have also learned at this hour that D has recently made nominations, I believe, as recently as today. And, Chappelle, we have three people who are currently on the block.

[00:42:18] We knew the three people who were on the block about six to nine minutes after they cut the live feeds on. I love how fast this community works. Yeah. Like, who was on the block? We have on the block that I know it is Mallory, Yash, and Taylor are on the block. Yikes. Yes. Man, it ended up on the block this early on.

[00:42:45] It's not great, but we got to tune in to the live feeds to find out how did this happen? Because I don't know if I would have just guessed, Rob, that this would have been the three that ended up on the block. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Maybe Yash. Yeah. I think I would have guessed. I'm sure by the end of the night we'll have more information about how this all came to be. But, Brandon, any thoughts on those three being the people that D has targeted week one?

[00:43:12] I think all the people that I've been talking about this week with, I think we were pretty in agreement that it was not going to rock with Yash. Different levels of energy. It made sense to me. And then I think Mallory, too, is not somebody that I can see a world where they didn't gravitate to one another. Right when we turned on the feeds, there was a conversation with Taylor and D speaking about, I guess, the nominations, where it seemed like D was saying, I'm going to do what I can to make it not you.

[00:43:41] So I imagine that maybe Mallory is the target? Because even also in the same two frames, Angela is talking to Yash and Angela is giving Yash that pep talk of, you know, just be yourself and do whatever, do whatever. So I think I'm locking in Mallory as the first week target would be my guess. You can see it. I can see it. I think it was a soft target, though.

[00:44:09] I think, like, Mallory, who you should be going for, D? I haven't seen enough because they didn't turn the feeds on night one like they should. But I don't know. I think Mallory, if I had to look at who's more threatening just off of what we've seen in the bios and the little bit of show we've watched, I'd probably say that Mallory is probably a bigger threat than Yash. Yeah. If the week holds, according to typical Big Brother, then tomorrow you would imagine we will have the veto.

[00:44:38] So we could see D maybe have to name a replacement. And then Monday is the veto ceremony. And then we'll have on going into Thursday the first blockbuster. But it'll be fun to see on Sunday, ultimately, like, you know, how did this come to be? We'll end that episode with nominations coming up on Sunday night. Yes. And we get to see what happens in the HOH competition. Yeah.

[00:45:08] We could have won that. Yeah. Yada yada to the HOH competition, as far as I'm concerned. They threw Rick a bone. At least it's a fire-making challenge. Don't lose another one, Rick. And that awful bedroom, which I don't, have we seen the have-nots room yet? It doesn't look, I'm seeing on Twitter a screenshot of what looks to be a have-nots room, but I can't tell what the theme is. I can't wait. I love, I always love the cracked have-nots rooms. I remember those ridiculous, like, I don't know where they were, dental chairs that they did or like airline seats or something like that.

[00:46:04] Those are awful. I hate when it's, I think one season it was really, really cold in there too. But, yeah, show me the have-nots room. I prefer that. It's the last room in the house that I care about. I don't care about the HOH room at all, but the have-nots room, need that. Okay, hold on. Sam has a screenshot. Is this the have-nots room? Oh, wow. Like, when you are on the jury and watching Rick Devins, like, when you're in the game with Rick Devins, I think you think he's annoying. When you're on the jury and you're out of the game and you're watching Rick Devins annoy the other people that are in the game, I think you love Rick Devins.

[00:50:58] It's like watching live TV. Yes. You know, when you're... Dee really likes pranks. She does. She sends a lot of prank TikToks. It really... It's her favorite thing. It's a really surprising trait about her. Like, she would, like, love a whoopee cushion in a genuine way. And Dee... I'm sorry. Rick is a big... He's a big prank guy. It feels like right up his alley to do pranks. He would have loved James Hewlett. Oh, I've watched that season. That was the last time you were there. He does jump scares. [00:52:54] Not being HOH first is not a great thing. Like you have... At this point, the way we play the big brother now, I think being HOH is first. Like, go ahead, lock these people in. Make them owe you something, you know? And then, you know, like she said, her target's already huge. It's not going to get any bigger if she's not HOH. Yeah, that's so true. Not for anything. The conversation that we did have about the first HOH was the people who have had it recently. And I think Corey just tweeted this, Corey Wertenberger. The people who have had it recently really bungle it in the past couple seasons. Like, Frenchie is out the next week.

[00:53:24] Right. And then I forget who those couple people were. But I said, like, if you're going to do it, like, you just have to do it correctly. And nobody recently has done it correctly. Frenchie had a bad one. The Big Brother 24, who was it? Was it Paloma? Was that the woman? Was that Taylor's season? Yeah, Taylor's season. Was she the HOH or was it Daniel Durston was the HOH? I think Daniel Durston was the HOH. But that was, like, he had his number one.

[00:53:51] But, yeah, a lot of people, like, do it bad as first HOH. Yeah, and if you, like, so she'll do it good. If you size up who everybody's not vibing with, or you have your own reason, if you talk to whatever person. There's no reason to bungle it.
