[00:03:23] I am on the road today out in LA to do some Trader's Press later on today, but I am still here for the exit interview to talk with the latest player evicted from Big Brother 28, and that is Chuck, and we will have Chuck here with us in just a moment. Taran Armstrong's going to jump on before he heads over to the live feed update,

[00:03:47] and of course, last night had a great interview with Rachel and Brendan on the recap after we saw Chuck eliminated from the game. I have Chuck here on the line. Let's go ahead and patch him in. Hey, it's Rob and Taren here from RHAP. It's Chuck time! What's up, Rob? Rob and Taren, what a pleasure. I'm at the house, so I'm a little sad. It's okay. Yeah.

[00:04:16] We all are, Chuck. I want to ask you, you know, going into the game, we saw in your preseason interviews, you said how you have so many sisters, you have a big family. You were going to go in the house, and you were going to be close with all of the women in the house, and then you end up coming out, and it seems like that you're not getting along with Lala and Taylor. What happened? You know what's so funny is you have a plan going into the game,

[00:04:44] and when you're there and you're seeing these social dynamics and you're seeing people who are trying to come for you to actively get you off the house, it completely changes things, right? I thought I was somewhat to where I can leave my heart at a door, but the minute I feel that someone is, like, trying to vie to get me out, and, you know, they're lying to me and being deceitful, those relationships I wanted, like, no part of, right? And, you know, Lala's amazing. Taylor's amazing. They're amazing women. But I definitely felt that, you know,

[00:05:13] I was unfairly put on that block. So trusting them and trying to even build a relationship after truly was going to be no more, even if I was still in the house. Yeah, we saw that initially when Lala won the HOH, Taylor and Lala had talked about not putting Eve on the block. It wasn't the plan. Up until a couple of hours before the nomination ceremony,

[00:05:38] Kamu just fully threw you under the bus with Yash and Taylor and Lala, made a deal with them, and changed the plans at the last minute to get you on the block. How do you feel about that? That completely shocked me, right? Because I knew going into Lala's, you know, deciding who she's going to put on the block, the night before, I'm in their Lala's HOH room, and Taylor walks in, she tells me, Chuck, you have nothing to worry about.

[00:06:07] You're not even in consideration. Morning of, I feel fine. I talked to Lala. So I knew it had to be someone of major influence. And in that house, there's not too many people who do have major influence, but there is one guy named Kamu who does have that major influence. So me and Haley felt this inkling that someone strong in the red corner, right, because we were with the three icons who I feel like had the most influence, went into that room with Lala and cascaded and mentioned our name and threw our names on another bus.

[00:06:34] But we felt like it was Kamu, but we didn't know because other people were showing us that they lied. Angela lied to us. So we also felt, could it be Angela? She've already told us and fessed up. So it was just like a whirlwind of emotions. Like, who do you believe in the Big Brother house? Like, truly. Yeah, it's really tough. I think that going into the blockbuster last night, we saw that it was you and Haley and Barrett.

[00:06:58] I'm wondering, because you're such a physical comp threat, were you just too amped up going into that? Because I'm seeing Haley and I'm seeing Barrett and they have no problems. But Chuck, what was the reason why you couldn't control the balls? Rob, the ball was too light for me. Too light? That's going to be my excuse. Truly, the ball was, I knew for them it probably was a little bit heavy.

[00:07:27] But for me it was so light. And I am just sliding this thing up this ramp and it keeps going down the other way. And I'm like, Chuck, you need to truly treat this ball like it's even more heavier and get a little bit of a rhythm. Too heavy. And go a little bit slow because the ball was just way too light. It felt light in my hands, but I knew it had some weight to it. But trying to get these mechanics to like move it really slowly, it wasn't working out. And I was hearing, OK, Barrett has this many balls.

[00:07:58] Haley has this many balls. And I was like, Chuck, come on, get it together. Get it together. Yes. We saw that you had quite a contentious relationship with Taylor, especially in this last week. She was trying to give you some advice. In fact, in the episode last night, she said this. This is big brother for dummies. As she's talking to you, trying to help you campaign. But amongst other things.

[00:08:27] And so, I mean, given that she put you on the block, but actually was one of the few people that kind of at least wanted you to stay this week. Yeah. What was that relationship like? It was an interesting relationship. She was always hot and cold. So you never knew how to kind of approach her in the house. Sometimes she was happy. Sometimes she wasn't in a good mood. So you never knew. And I wasn't a fan of being around someone who's hot and cold. I truly don't like people who are hot and cold. Her gave me that advice. I loved it. But I took it from a grain of salt. I didn't see her as a strong competitor, truly.

[00:08:56] And that could be my fault. I just didn't see her as someone who was strong in the house. I saw her as someone who wanted to just take care of the house by cleaning and cooking and letting that be the reason why the houseguest kept her. So I truly felt she tried to form some alliances with me throughout the whole season. But I never wanted anything to come concrete because I did not really want to be in alliance with her because she was kind of attached to Lala. Lala was attached to a few people in the house who were evicted. So you see that thing? Wrong Jason, Lala, Taylor. I didn't want to be attached to that at all. So I just took her advice with a grain of salt.

[00:09:26] She was coming from a good place. Yeah, she's an amazing woman. But I did not want to. I couldn't listen to someone who I didn't deem personally was a strong competitor. Chuck, we saw that you were very close in the house with Haley. My girl! Lala even said that you were a couple when she put you two on the block. Is there nothing going on there with you and Haley? You know, first week, me and Haley, I think we definitely knew there was attraction there, right?

[00:09:54] We knew like, you know, I find you attractive. I think you find me attractive. And she was the only person in the house, truly, who I could stomach their humor. A lot of everybody in the house had just interesting humors that I truly didn't really gravitate towards. But she was someone who, you know, first week, I think there was some attraction there. We didn't know, could the showmance bloom? But as the weeks went on, that girl is my best friend. She's a great friend. There was nothing there. I think Lala wanted to just poison the ears of people.

[00:10:21] Because if you can poison one and cascade a showmance, you got everyone else. Because it's just going to kind of steamroll telephone. Talk to me about the red corner. Let's go! Yes. Obviously, you knew to get into a big alliance early. Quickly. Yes. Which worked very well for you for the first four weeks. And people say I have minimal watch time. What do you mean minimal watch time?

[00:10:51] You know, everyone says, oh, did you watch it much? I'm like, I made sure to get into an alliance early. You guys didn't. You guys are on borrowed time. I'm like, oh, I'm sorry. It did work out until, of course, last week when the vote flipped without you knowing. So, obviously, there were some other things going on. The vets were in an alliance with Drew and Barrett called the Crossovers. And they had actually told them about red corner early in the game.

[00:11:21] But they had kind of bloomed it into the tool shed alliance where they were hopefully situated in the middle. So, I think the issue that red corner faced is that there weren't enough connections outside of the tool shed. Is that something that you were, like, conscious of doing? Or were you just kind of, like, happy to sort of settle in the group you were in? Truly, again, oh, my God. Not learning new things. Truly was happy to settle in the group I was in, right?

[00:11:48] We had the red corner that consisted of me, Haley, Kamu, Dee, Devins, Angela. We have numbers. We're fine. We're going to go into HOH and we're going to kill it, right? And then we also had the tool shed, which was kind of like our shield, right? Having Barrett and Drew there, right? So, I felt so strongly that if we can just keep everything going, we won't have to start picking off each other until the end. But I knew it was a little too good to be true. The first four weeks felt amazing, right? I'm going into all these nomination ceremony and I'm knowing who's going to be on the block.

[00:12:18] I'm like, this is, like, the greatest thing ever, right? Like, I can truly lay low and coast. Like, I literally was like, I'm going to coast and when it's time to take that horse and get on that saddle alone, then I can start picking people from my alliance and we start looking inward. But I knew everyone's selfish desires might start coming to surface a little bit early and it did.

[00:12:41] Chuck, could you tell us after now Big Brother, do you have any future plans to do other reality shows coming off of this? You know what? I'm someone to where I never say no to any opportunity, right? And that's something I always talk about in the house. It's like, I'm going to say yes to any ample opportunity that comes my way just because, like, dude, I'm 27, right? I still feel so young. I feel good. I'm strong.

[00:13:08] And I know there's going to be many things that do come my way. If they do, that's great. If they don't, it's still great, right? I love my job. And so, I feel like this, Rob. One thing. What's the next thing? If there was a show? Yeah. Oh, I'd love to do the challenge. Okay. The challenge would be something to where I know going into it. Chuck time can't end yet. I grew up watching the challenge.

[00:13:35] Like, that was the show me and my sister watched on MTV. Okay. And so, it had to be the challenge. Okay. Taryn, we're running out of time. Anything else for Chuck? Chuck, if you had to pick one person that's going to pay for their sins the most. Truly. Everyone in this house must pay for their sins. Who's going to pay for their sins? Hold on. I don't think we got that, Chuck. Yeah. Oh, my God.

[00:14:03] If there's someone who must pay for their sins, it would be... It has to be because the fact that Kamu completely drew me and Haley under the bus while coming to us and acting like just this noble guy. And that he was just confused on where all this was coming from. It would have to be Kamu, right? Just because threw us under the bus. You've lost. I'm out the house.

[00:14:33] You know, successful HOH for Lala. And so, I think Kamu must pay for his sins next to Lala. All right. You heard it here. Kamu, pay for your sins. All right. All right. Thank you.
