Big Brother 28 fans wonโt want to miss this episode, as the fate of the house hangs on a major flip in the works. Host Taran Armstrong is joined by guest Aysha Welch for a live feed update recap, breaking down all the late-game maneuvering, shifting loyalties, and bold campaign plays happening on Day 64 in the house.[00:00:10] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA. You know he is the reason, you know what's happened. Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again.
[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 9th. I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 64 in the house and some campaigning began.
[00:01:06] Uh, and uh, some minds maybe maybe changed. Maybe some vote flipping action going on. Uh, very, very fun and interesting update here today. So make sure you stay tuned and with me to talk about it is Aysha Welch. How you doing Aysha Welch? Hello, Taran. You know, you think after six years of, you know, hopping on these updates with you, I would have learned my lesson. You know, yesterday midday, I was like, tomorrow's update is probably gonna be like 15 minutes.
[00:01:36] Like there's no, nothing's happening. Like there's no, nothing's happening. They gave them Jenga. Like when we reached the Jenga point of the season, nothing's happening. But, uh, sure enough by saying that it just put it in the air and things happen.
[00:01:52] Yes, it quite did. So as you all know, Barrett is the HOH. He nominated Angela D and Devin's for eviction. Yash won the veto and then he did not use the veto all week long to this point.
[00:02:09] Of course, the obvious target has been either Devin's or D. Devin's the primary target. D the backup target. If Devin's were to win the blockbuster, because Angela is much less of a threat. The whole point of this HOH has been to target one of the survivors. Um, and so, uh, it is on this day, of course, the survivors are going to make their campaign.
[00:02:33] Now, will it work? Is another question that we'll talk about as we go through the day. So first of all, D, Angela, and Devin's in the morning here are going to be talking about how, uh, Drew and Melody literally got pretty close last night.
[00:02:53] Um, now this is something that's going to be a topic of conversation and one of the important things, not only for the campaign, but also for just like the week and the, the, the house structure moving forward that, uh, on in the, in the labor day party, they got a little tipsy and, uh, and things got a little something.
[00:03:18] We don't really know exactly what, um, but then feel like the right word, but that's a huge assumption. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, and listen, there's usually, let me tell you, uh, there's usually a lot of, especially with showmances, but especially a showmance like Drew and Melody.
[00:03:41] There's a lot of clips that get posted that are like, Oh, Oh, what was that? What? Hey, wait, what was that? What do you, do you think? You think something happened there? Um, and, uh, and there's a big one going around that they were in a, they were in the pool and, uh, and they're like, Ooh, Ooh, what was that?
[00:04:01] Uh, and, um, and listen, I don't really pay much attention to that. Uh, but people were, people were talking about it. So just kind of like, this was, this was noticed by the house guests. Put a pin in this little pool clip. Um, and, uh, and we'll kind of, you know, continue to move forward for now. Uh, and I feel like it also wasn't, well, like yes.
[00:04:27] In the house from like optics, the pool clip will stay relevant, but I feel like from the social media aspect, people also saw the clip of her feet relaxing in certain areas. And that kind of, that had more fuel to the fire than the pool clip. The pool clip had people using a magnifying glass seeing, Oh, did his arm muscle.
[00:04:52] Does that mean his hand was this direction and not, but the, the foot clip that's direct evidence that this may be a shirt showmance as opposed to a flirt man. Yeah. Yeah. Um, listen, not the first foot clip, uh, to come from big brother. Right. That's the first, um, Angela mentions that she wants to go and talk to Barrett and tell him how Drew is playing the middle again.
[00:05:19] Uh, kind of throw Drew under the bus for everything he's saying to, to them. He says, yes, but let's hold off for now. Let's not go right away. Uh, I don't think that's quite the play yet. Um, in the meantime, Drew and Melody, they are talking about how they've probably put a bigger target on their back for, you know, how much time they've been spending together, how much this is seemingly a topic of conversation amongst the house.
[00:05:46] Uh, that like they've gotten closer and you know, they, they recognize that they might've gotten caught in a thing or two. Um, but Drew goes to Devon's. He lets him know, he reassures him again. Hey, I'm voting to keep you no matter what. He tells him about like how there's a bit of ceasefire that's happening. Um, but lets him know that he doesn't plan to stick to it because he's going after Yash again, just fully giving up all of his secrets to somebody that's on the block.
[00:06:14] Uh, just like on a silver platter, like Devon's couldn't have been in a, in a more relaxed state, literally headphones on. He wasn't even trying to fish for this information. No, no work required to get all of this information out of Drew.
[00:06:33] Yeah. Um, people in the chat still asking now why Drew has, uh, utensils, uh, above his face on the traffic. Because I guess even people watching live feed updates don't remember that he has a never not pass. Don't y'all remember? It's so important. It's so important. You need to, this is why you need to be reminded.
[00:07:00] Um, it's, uh, I plan to take it away once they get rid of have-nots. We'll see. Keep it up for the bit. Until then, it sticks around as a reminder to all. Um, so, uh, Barrett talks to the cameras and he talks about how he wonders if anyone can beat Yash in the final two. He's talking about like final two scenarios.
[00:07:23] Um, he says he would vote for Melody or Drew both over Yash, but he's not sure either of them would get, uh, enough votes to beat Yash. Uh, he thinks the icons can win. It would be tough for them, uh, because the jury would probably be pretty bitter. He'd be pretty bitter against the icons, but they could probably beat Taylor. Um, he thinks he could potentially, he thinks he could beat anyone.
[00:07:51] Maybe, uh, if he gets there to the end. Uh, remember the icons are telling everyone that they'll vote for Barrett to win while telling themselves that they won't. Uh, so, uh, you know, there's, he might believe that he has their vote, although I'm sure he's skeptical. Uh, but he thinks he's got a shot, especially after this move. So, uh, so that's going on, but something else I want to point out though. And I talked about it a little bit yesterday.
[00:08:20] Uh, I want to talk about it more right now. You might notice that I'm talking about a lot of camera talks from Barrett and not a lot of people talks from Barrett. But he's been holed up in his HOH room because of the awkward sort of tension from the house, uh, from the vets in particular. Um, he mentioned so the night before, uh, everyone else was downstairs and he was like, should I go down? Nah. And he stayed upstairs.
[00:08:50] Um, Angela mentioned how he's staying up in his HOH room all the time and he's not talking to any of them. Um, and so this is, this is something else worth pointing out here because, um, Barrett's lack of like sociability, uh, this week, especially over the last couple of days is a significant factor in what's to come. I think over the course of the day, I'm going to drop one of those little foreshadowing hints.
[00:09:20] Yeah, you know, Barrett clocked out, uh, kind of maybe after his veto pick, it feels, it seems like it's been that long. Like at least a few days of Barrett just enjoying, uh, Olivia Rodrigo, uh, inviting people to enjoy Olivia Rodrigo and then just not doing anything else.
[00:09:46] Like he, it's as if he just thought, look, I, I served y'all up, you know, two juicy steaks and then like an appetizer. Surely you want the two juicy steaks. Like I don't even have to be involved for you to know what the options are. And listen, I made, uh, I made a comparison on the round table a couple of nights ago.
[00:10:15] Um, and maybe if I could make another one just now little Becky, little Becky esque from Barrett. I've done the work. You all wanted this, right? Mm-hmm. Please. Uh, D talks to the cameras. She talks to the cameras. She talks about how, okay, I want to stay. How do I stay? I need Yash. That is my path.
[00:10:44] If I can convince Yash, I can get Taylor. If I have Yash and Taylor, I've got the votes to stay even against Angela because Devins will come down and Devins will vote for me to stay. So she runs through. What's ironic about what you just said, not even a consideration what Drew wants. Because in their mind, Drew is just a non-factor. I don't trust him. He will betray us no matter what.
[00:11:14] Even though Drew confirmed to Devins earlier in the day, no matter what, I'm voting out Angela. But that's not even a factor to D. Yeah, I mean, similarly, you could get Melody and Drew. Though, to be fair, that one's a little harder because you definitely would need Barrett on board in order to get Melody, in my opinion. But Yash and Taylor are the people she's looking at.
[00:11:42] And so she runs through the pitch she wants to make to Yash. And she talks about like a book that she's read and how she wants to make sure that the pitch to Yash is that she is a more valuable asset in the game than Angela. Because she will win competitions to help protect Yash and make moves for Yash. And, you know, whether she knows it or not, I would lean towards she knows it.
[00:12:12] This is obviously something that Yash has thought about before. And I think a mistake that Yash has made before, which is overvaluing the competition side of things when it comes to like wanting an Al to stay. Meaning he wanted Lala to stay over Taylor because he felt that Lala was a better competitor than Taylor. So the idea of pitching him that, hey, I'm a better competitor and asset for you is a pretty good one for Yash.
[00:12:42] Problem is, of course, they haven't exactly been working together for very long. Yash and Lala, you know, they've had a relationship. Yash and Dee have barely had one. They were in like the wolf packs together. There's no reason for Yash to trust her or to see her as somebody that would be an ally for him outside of the fact that she forced him into this bribe.
[00:13:04] So in order to tackle that angle, she wants to make a point of telling him or of asking him these questions. Have I ever broken a promise to you, Yash? Think about it. The answer is no. No, she hasn't. Right. Like she's broken promises to a lot of other people, but not Yash.
[00:13:26] Um, she says, have she, the other question she wants to ask, have I talked to Barrett at all since the nominations? No, she hasn't. Who has? Devins, right? Right. So the idea is that Devins is the boogeyman. Devins is the biggest problem. He's the one that's going to go back and work with Drew and Barrett. Uh, she, she hasn't even talked to Barrett.
[00:13:56] You, you can't even catch her in a conversation with him. You know that she's not going to, uh, to, to put up or to go back to Drew and Barrett. Um, the chat, the chat's pointing out that she did break a promise to Yash in week one. Right. Guess who forgot about that? That's 60 days ago, y'all. She, she forgot, he forgot. Um, she, uh, so, so Devins is the issue.
[00:14:24] He will go back to Drew and Barrett and Drew and Barrett are the true enemies of Yash. Um, so obviously keep her over, over Devins, but also keep her to act as, uh, a, a reason for Devins to not do that or a buffer for Yash and Taylor to, to have against the idea that Devins might do that. Right. So instill some fear of this outcome.
[00:14:50] Devins going back to, to Barrett and Drew while presenting herself as the solution. And then finally, again, like this is, you can trust me. The only reason I haven't worked with you, Yash in the past is that I did have this alliance. I made day two, uh, with Drew and Barrett. And I was loyal to that alliance all game. And that's why every time it was like passing ships in the night, I, I never worked with you
[00:15:20] because I was too loyal to my crew, the crew I actually thought I had. And guess what? They just turned on me. Now I am, but a loyal player, a lost ship in the night looking for a dock. Right. Uh, I'm, I'm, I'm just looking for a new home to be loyal to now that I'm a completely free agent. My alliance has turned on me. Uh, and so Yash, I want to come and work with you and be loyal to you in the same way that I was loyal to my people before.
[00:15:50] Um, and now listen, I see the chat filling up with like, but what? She wasn't loyal. What do you mean? This is a, she did break promises to Yash. This, all this stuff. Um, and to which I say, of course. Right. She put up Drew. It's all in the cell. Yes. And, and she's trying to sell, you know, she's trying to sell something here.
[00:16:14] Uh, and you can see why from Yash's perspective in the way that she's, she's sort of structuring this. Why Yash might believe it, right? He doesn't know the details of how she wasn't loyal to Drew at all. Uh, he doesn't know, uh, you know, in, in us, again, you can say like he, he put her up week or she put him up week one. Uh, broke that promise. But like, that was a long time ago.
[00:16:42] And, uh, and you know, she didn't really know him then and so on and so forth. Um, and really the whole, the whole point is that like, by, by, by saying it in the right way, you can kind of, people's memories are very malleable. Like, you can really shape the way people remember things. Uh, if you, if you can say it in the right way. Uh, when, especially when they don't have, you know, footage to go back to and watch. Exactly.
[00:17:13] It's just like on Love Island, the Trinity you haven't even explored. And then on the reunion, they show it. And that's not even what he said. You know, like he said it completely differently. But in that, in that environment, they, you can craft a narrative. And this is the same type of environment. Like you don't, they don't have the feeds so they can, they don't have Twitter. They don't have a blue sky to go back to and say, wait, let me see what Dee's thought process was when she put up Drew.
[00:17:42] Or, you know, did she just do that for the Alliance? Um, and so it was like, really? I mean, it was impressive how effective this sale was because we see her practice it. And it's the, okay, I got to say two no's and a yes. I got to ask two questions that are a no and then a yes. And I was like, is that the key? That's what the book told her? Like that? I mean, it like, Yash ate it up. Well, so listen, this is the thing, right?
[00:18:10] I wouldn't, I wouldn't blame you if, despite what I'm saying, like, you're like, well, this, this is not going to work. Right? Like, uh, certainly an interesting gathering for an attempt here. But at the end of the day, uh, this is a spot that is difficult to get out of. This is a, this is a shot that has been, that they've been waiting to take all season. The Yash has been advocating for all season.
[00:18:40] Um, you know, this is, you know, it's, it's not quite like Dan Giesling on the block, but you know, it's, it's not that far off. Right. Right. It should have been a guarantee. Like, like we all saw. Okay. Yash won the veto. Dear Devin's is going home. Like there's no way they can get out of this. Yeah. And, and what it might be a little closer to, as I said before, it's a little bit like Vanessa on the block.
[00:19:09] It's a little bit like we've kind of finally trapped her in this cage. Um, and obviously if we have the shot, we need to take it. We're not going to take out somebody, somebody else. We're not going to take out somebody like Angela. Uh, we're going to make Devin's or D the target here. And a lot of what she's saying are lies. A lot of what she's pitching about Devin's is, or is not super true.
[00:19:34] And, uh, and there's not really any good reason in my opinion for Yash or Taylor to keep her. There's not really any good reason for almost anybody in the house to keep her, including almost maybe Devin's. Right. Uh, like, yeah, you could argue, you could certainly argue that Devin's is the one person that benefits, but even Devin's isn't like fully benefiting from D staying. Uh, so of course this is the sentiment I'm seeing when, uh, when I'm watching her practice, people like this isn't going to work.
[00:20:04] Come on. Yash is smarter than this. Um, but she goes to Yash and she makes the pitch, uh, and she lays out everything. It goes exactly the way that she plans. She asks the questions. He says, no, you haven't lied to me. No, you haven't talked to Barrett. Um, she says, uh, my alliance is done now. I have no more chains to them anymore. Uh, and Angela can't win comps. And he says, I agree with that. That's my read on it.
[00:20:31] She says, you only have Taylor right now in this game and Taylor can't win comps. You need an ally that can win competitions. You need somebody that can do that. If you win an HOH, you won't be able to play the following week. You're just one player. Uh, and he's like, yeah, that's, that is true. Uh, she says, and Drew was telling me, Drew has been telling me, he wants me to go after you for him. He wants to go after you himself and him, Barrett and Melody.
[00:20:59] They are a trio, Drew and Melody. She claims to not like Drew, but they are together. And she's like, I've seen that. Yeah, they are very close. She says, Angela is so dangerous to have in this house because she will vote to evict you over Taylor where, uh, or Melody. Whereas I will vote to keep you. And if you're sitting on the block next to Angela, you're the one gone. If you're sitting on the block next to me, you've got a much better chance of staying.
[00:21:25] Um, so he's, you know, as Asia, you said, he's, he's eating this all up. Right. But again, you know, uh, Yash, he likes, he's a tell people what they want to hear kind of guy. He is. Yeah. Uh, you know, it's like, okay, well he's eating it up, but how much is he actually eating it up? And how much is he just kind of like humoring her? He's the one that's been pushing this move from the very start. Yash seems surely he's not the guy that's going to like just completely be down for this.
[00:21:53] Um, but, but I was watching and I was kind of like, cause here's the thing. She says, I'm obviously, obviously I also want to talk to Taylor. Yash says, you should, I want to know what Taylor thinks about this. I want her to find out. I want her to hear the pitch and get her thoughts separately. Um, so. And, and I do think there is, yes, Yash is a tell a person what they want to hear, but
[00:22:19] I do think there is just this like ever so slight difference in the way that Yash is in conversations as he was in this conversation with D as opposed to, you know, how he interacts with Devin's. It's just like, he volunteered a little bit more information. He's, he's a more of an active participant as opposed to just like responding when he's bought in. And I could see like the little sparkle in his eye as he's talking to D.
[00:22:47] I was like, okay, I think he is buying what she's selling. And it, it doesn't feel like a, I'm just trying to appease you. I'm gonna go talk to Taylor and be like, we got to get rid of D. It felt like he truly believed it. Yeah. Well, uh, you can only wait and see. And if you're watching live, you got to wait for hours. But if you're watching this, you got to wait just a few minutes.
[00:23:14] Uh, in the meantime, Angela goes to Barrett and despite D saying we should hold off for now, she, of course, as she's want to do, go straight to Barrett and tells him about Drew playing the middle. Uh, except it doesn't quite go the way she wanted. She tells, uh, she tells Barrett, she's like, yeah, Drew, he's, uh, he's out there trying to act like he didn't know about these nominations. You know what I mean? Um, and Barrett's like, oh, well, he kind of didn't like, he was pretty surprised that I did this.
[00:23:44] He didn't know that I was going to like, when I won HOH, he was pretty. Yeah. He, I mean, he didn't know that this was going to happen. And she's like, oh, well, well, he's been saying he's very mad about it. And Barrett's like, oh, well, interesting. That's interesting. Uh, and she says, uh, and, and he, he said that you were going to vote out Devin's. He's like, well, yeah, that's true.
[00:24:10] Um, but, but listen, I want you guys to know that despite what Dee was saying about how America didn't vote for me because I've been working against you. I really was with you guys before. Like you guys had my whole game. Uh, and Angela's like, oh, well, listen, Dee, she still loves you. And she hopes that you can still be friends outside of the house. Um, and Barrett's like, that's what I've been thinking too. Like, I've been hoping that we can be friends outside of the house. And, and, and just like, you totally can.
[00:24:39] Um, but, uh, but it was very funny to see this conversation where, uh, Angela did get a little bit out there for Barrett to consider, which is that Drew is still acting mad about these nominations. Um, but, uh, but they, but Angela and Dee and them believe that Drew was behind the nominations. And so, uh, Barrett is kind of like, no, I mean, he's not really that involved actually.
[00:25:06] Which is just, it's as if your job contacted you while you were out of office. Like you were on PTO vacationing. You're just being like, oh yeah, yeah, that's, yeah, yeah. You're being direct. You're not thinking in work mode. If Barrett was clocked in, he would have realized, oh, this is great. If the icons think that, uh, Drew is like behind this, that he is potentially responsible or he
[00:25:32] was a part of this decision in any way that would benefit me as opposed to, you know, he was camera talking earlier thinking like, oh, the only way about out of this is if I just win everything. Oh, you know, and he was like joking about it. Cause he's like, I've only won one thing. Shouldn't be too hard. But it's like, if he was playing the game in this moment, he would have realized this would have been good for him. But instead he chose the honest route, which is like, don't confirm that to someone on the block.
[00:26:01] Like someone who you don't need to be offering up information. Once again, Angela just got that so easily without even trying to try. Yeah. Well, in the meantime, Devin's is going to talk with D. They both agree they're keeping each other over Angela, which means they only do need Taylor and Yash's votes. Um, but she does pretend to Devin's that she hasn't campaigned to Yash yet.
[00:26:30] This is truly a solo D campaign. She has no interest in doing tandem with Devin's here. She's focused on making sure she herself is safe. So Devin's, he goes and makes his own campaign to Yash and Taylor. It's a lot less organized than Deez was. Um, and it's to both Yash and Taylor together. Um, and it's actually so interesting to me, the differences in these campaigns.
[00:26:55] Um, Devin's has been sort of trying to make this campaign over a longer period of time, uh, smaller conversations, um, and, uh, and sort of shorter conversations. D really like sort of planned and prepped and created this speech in this pitch. Uh, and you know, uh, obviously they're also in different sort of positions, but you know, it's been, it's been really interesting watching the two of them as game players in general,
[00:27:22] uh, because, you know, they both have their strengths and weaknesses and Devin's, I think is a stronger planner than D. Uh, he generally had better ideas about how to run as the majority. D is usually the one that was like pitching. We should blindside this person. We should do this to break up the Alliance. Um, whereas Devin's, and I think the core, the key, the core of it is that D is a much
[00:27:50] more individual player and Devin is a much more team oriented player, which is so funny considering that on Survivor, D won with a team and Devin's always played solo. Um, but, uh, but it, it, it comes across in the way that they play the game as well, where Devin's was like, I think operated better in that majority structure. Whereas D is so much better at like these individual, uh, not to say that Devin's is
[00:28:17] not good at the individual conversations, but, but D is really good at like latching onto people emotionally and creating a bond with them and creating a good argument. Um, which, you know, I've, I, like I said, I've been doing like a little bit of the Vanessa comparison, um, is not quite Vanessa, but she has that level of like, um, where I like Devin's, I think is like, he's good at making a logical case, but he sticks to the truth.
[00:28:44] A lot of the time he tries to be like, well, here's, here's listen, I'm not going to bullshit you. Like, I'm not going to pretend you're stupid and act like it's like, this is a reason to keep, but I will tell you that like, Hey, here's the best case I can make with the truth. Whereas D and oftentimes Vanessa will like twist the truth in pretzels, uh, to be like, this is why it makes sense to keep me.
[00:29:12] And by the end of it, it's like, that doesn't really make sense, but sometimes it works. So Devin's makes his pitch. He says he's after Drew and Barrett and that he'll protect Yash and Taylor. It's pretty simple. Um, Yash says that, uh, he, he, if he, uh, Yash wonders if Devin's will vote for Angela or D in the event that he wins the blockbuster. Uh, and Devin says he would vote against Angela.
[00:29:40] That is sort of like his current plan. So this was another, for me example of, uh, like, okay. Yash is wondering what Devin's will do if he wins the blockbuster, which means he's wondering about Angela versus D, uh, which tells me he's thinking about Angela versus D. And so he, Devin's leaves. It's again, it's a pretty short pitch. And he, uh, and Yash asks Taylor, she says, Hey, I want you to talk to D.
[00:30:08] I want us to think about some things and then talk later, but specifically, I want you to talk to D. And that's when I, that's when I was like, okay. And that's when I made my tweet. I was like, Oh, the survivors, they have the truck and Yash is telling Taylor. He wants to think about it. This is on like, this is, this is happening. Uh, and this is, and I'm starting to get a little excited. You know, I'm starting to get a little bit like, Oh boy. Cause nothing to me, like, listen, power swings are great.
[00:30:38] HOHs, nominations, vote flips. But one of the hardest things to do in this game is to sit on the block as a target and you yourself talk your way out of it. And you know, that really, listen, that really gets me going. I really like when this happens. This is a lot of fun for me. And D talks to the cameras and she says, you know what? I'm kind of enjoying playing solo. Like it's very freeing to not have to worry about other people being on board.
[00:31:08] Oh, I got to talk to Angela. See if she, I got to talk to Devin's. I got to see if he's on board. Uh, like I'm just, I'm just on my own right now doing whatever I want to do. Uh, and so, um, drew, drew ends up joining briefly. He says, Hey, I'm still with you. I'm still mad about Barrett's move. Uh, uh, he says, I'm voting to keep you or Devin's against Angela. And she says, Oh, I appreciate that. You know, she doesn't believe him. They hug. She gives the cameras a middle finger on his back.
[00:31:37] Um, and after he leaves. And I was like, how did he not feel that? You can feel a singular finger on your back. She like, she tapped his back with it. Yeah, you know, uh, you, you don't know which finger it is. True, true, true. You know, it's, uh, he, he's used to playing footsie. Um, so, uh, after he leaves, she's like, he's scared. I know what he's scared. She's still, I'm still nominating him. Um, but she says, listen, I'm, I'm much more motivated to win this season than I was on survivor 50 on survivor 50.
[00:32:07] I just accepted my fate. I'm, I'm here. I'm, I'm ready for this. I'm going to make this happen. Uh, and you know what? I would love for Yash to be forced to take me to the final two. If we get to the final three, I think that would be so fun. Um, and so like, I'm just like, all right, like D is pumped up. And it's again, this is such a perfect encapsulation of D as a player, like convincing Yash, uh,
[00:32:34] and Taylor to at least think about keeping her in a spot that it doesn't make much sense at all in my, in my mind for them to keep her. Uh, while also having a complete misreads to Drew. Yes. Not realizing that she already does actually probably have one vote in Drew. Exactly. Like it low key could be unanimous if you consider Drew. And if you just think in the, like, oh, maybe Melody will just do whatever Drew wants,
[00:33:00] but just not even considering Drew makes the task seem harder because you're just trying to sell yourselves on Yash and Taylor. But look, I, I'm enjoying this because as much as you, like, you want some opposition to what's happening, right? We saw the icons be in power for like 60 days, right? They finally got on the block, but no one wants third, the next Thursday eviction decided
[00:33:30] on the previous Friday. Like that's no fun. That's, that's boring feeds. But when you have a moment like this, where Dee has kind of stood on the block, she's kind of figured out the lay of the land. She's committed to what she's going to do, such as not talking to Barrett, um, and kind of having this disdain towards Drew and just realizing, okay, if my path that I want to pitch
[00:33:56] and commit to is Yash and Taylor for now, then I have to be able to have points to support my, uh, my pitch to when I pitched to them to have these truths, right? That's why it was hard for Yash to have a defense to what she was saying, because technically what she's saying on the surface from Yash's perspective can seem true. So the fact that, you know, she's been able to like wiggle her way out to like being a
[00:34:24] consideration to stay when it seemed like a done deal last Friday that she was gone. Like that's, that's fun, big brother. It's fun, big brother, to watch somebody just be down and out and actually figure out how to get off or actually figure out how to possibly stay safe. Like that's exciting. It is, it is exciting. And, uh, I'm saying also like, I've seen a lot of, I've seen, I see some of it in the chat. I've seen a lot of the sentiment out there that like people, a lot of like people sort
[00:34:53] of very confidently saying these bribe doesn't force Yash to take to the final two. Definitely doesn't. Um, to which I would implore people to at the very least not be confident about that. Uh, we don't know for sure, but D has told other people in the house that that is how the power works. Uh, now she has also said that she's allowed to lie or so that she's not allowed to lie
[00:35:20] and she is allowed to lie about what the bribe offer was. Um, so it is possible that it's wrong, but theoretically this is not what the offer was. It's how the power works in this instance. And so theoretically, again, she should be called out by production if she's saying it and it's not true. Uh, although that's not that there's some work murky waters there. Um, but I think the point being, we don't know for sure that this is how it works.
[00:35:47] If the fans pulling a Barrett as to, uh, I think a lot of people still believe that the, the offer was about nominations, but it's very specifically. Wasn't, it was about keeping them safe on the HOH week. Uh, so they're like, well, there's no nominations at final three. Therefore he's not bound to it, but there is definitely a reading of keeping these people
[00:36:15] safe where if it's D versus Taylor and the Osh wins the final three HOH and he has to choose which one to take, he would not be keeping D safe by evicting her and taking Taylor. Uh, so that would be going against like, there's a pretty clear reading of that, uh, in, uh, in that action in, in, in my opinion. And I think, uh, certainly in D's opinion. So I would just say at the very least, we should not be confident that it doesn't work that way.
[00:36:44] Uh, and quite frankly, I'm leaning toward, it probably does work that way. Although with the caveat of like, it's still, I think just production's choice. And quite frankly, like who knows, who knows if they even know right now. Right. They're like, let's just see if there's a scenario where Yash and D actually make it to the final three.
[00:37:09] Uh, because you know, there's still eight people left, you know, we still have a few HOHs to go. It could be a very enticing situation for Yash to be like, I'm not going to throw the final four HOH. I want to guarantee my spot in the final three. And so then that could be when his hand is forced and keeping, you know, an icon off the block. Uh, but if, you know, he does continue to throw or he just genuinely does not win until the final three HOH.
[00:37:39] I feel like anything is possible because it's just keep safe. Yeah. And again, I, I, I'm still seeing people like, yeah, but he, it only covers nominations, not votes, not vetoes, but like, we don't know that we really don't. Like it, it was it, the wording was not about nominations. It was about keeping them safe. Uh, and so like, you know, voting somebody out when you're supposed to be keeping them
[00:38:06] safe is not keeping them safe. Right. Like, uh, and even like the final four HOH where the nominations don't really matter because it's the veto winner that, uh, that decides if Yash wins the veto, there's a, again, an argument that says he has to keep D safe by allowing her to be the sole vote to evict. Right.
[00:38:29] Like, uh, cause he can't keep her safe by vetoing somebody and allowing them to be the sole vote to potentially evict D. So it's really just like, how does production interpret keep you safe? Uh, because nominations was never part of the aired on television deal. Uh, it was, it was, it was never a part of it. It was always safety. So, uh, just. Yeah. And it only, cause I still, yeah. Yeah.
[00:38:57] And it only applies if he is HOH. It's not like, you know, we're saying, oh, if he's in the final four and he has a vote that he has to keep them safe in that way. No, it's when he's the, the, the question here is if he is the final HOH, does that mean he has to take D, uh, or any icon? There could be a different icon at the end. Does that mean that he has to bring them to the final two in order to quote unquote, keep them safe?
[00:39:26] And, you know, don't go clipping this saying RHAP claims D, Yash has to take D literally. We're just discussing the prop of the probability that it's possible because the details of this bribe have been just so. Yeah. We don't know what it means. It, you know, the fact that the three of them could are, are told to, or I guess the language in the bribe was you have to keep them safe.
[00:39:53] It kind of leaves it up to the interpretation of, okay, at what point does that not matter anymore? Because technically Yash could be the final HOH. Yes. And it only applies on the first time he wins the HOH. So he can not keep her safe this week because he's not HOH. Right. Um, it's, it's also funny Asia that you think that people would clip it, uh, to lie about
[00:40:17] what we're saying and not just make it up wholesale as, as they are want to do. Uh, just, just putting this out there. If you see anybody on social media, just typing out RHAP said blank or Taryn said blank. Anytime I see that shit, it's like 90% not true. Just, just throwing it out there. Just don't believe it unless you actually see it come out of my mouth.
[00:40:46] In my today's news section on Twitter today, it says big brother, 28 fans debate RHAP podcast icons commentary. Come on y'all. Why are you debating? I saw that too. I saw that too. And the funny thing was that even the AI summary couldn't figure out whether we were biased
[00:41:13] for or against the icons because it said that they were arguing that it like it got it mixed up in the same paragraph. It said both. Yeah. Because, because there are people out there who think both. Yeah. Like there's different sides and they argue separately from each other. Exactly. Because we're not one voice, one sound y'all. We all have different opinions. Because one day D's on the block and it's looking bad.
[00:41:41] And another day she's about to potentially save herself and things are looking great. And now probably it's going to be, oh, now he's a dig laser. That's right. Ridiculous. So, uh, Angela spent some time talking to Yash, telling him that she told Barrett about Drew's shadiness. Yash is like, good. Um, and he says that he thinks Devin's is more likely to go back with the boys. So he'd rather work with her and D.
[00:42:10] And this is again, another indication to me that he's really thinking about this D pitch. Um, so, uh, Angela and D start talking and they start doing something that is very interesting that they haven't really been doing, uh, to this point that D especially hasn't been doing to this point. They start studying. Like hardcore studying M&Ms, uh, week by week.
[00:42:40] And it's a little rough because D really hasn't been doing much of this, but it's like, this has been one of the biggest weaknesses in my mind and D's competitive game moving forward. But, you know, uh, people talk about like, oh, they haven't been studying. They haven't been studying. Um, the reason I haven't been talking about it is because it doesn't really matter whether or not you study ahead of time because the questions are easy.
[00:43:07] Like, you know, like you can start studying whenever you want, uh, as long as you eventually do. And this is coming from, this is coming from a person who like number one, rarely studied in the first place. And if I did, it was usually like at 3am before the test. You know what I mean? Like a living example. It's very easy to just study right before, as long as the information is pretty, uh, easily available and, and simple to remember.
[00:43:36] Um, and you have other people in the house that are your study guide. Uh, Devin comes in and he helps answer questions. Um, and so the studying is happening now and that's kind of all that matters. Uh, so she's getting caught up on a lot of stuff that's going on here. You have the same formula. You don't have to wonder, oh, and we too, did we do the noms on Friday or Saturday?
[00:44:01] Like as long as you, you know, they, they have endless hours in the house. So as long as studying happens at some point, then they will be okay. But I thought it was funny that D asked Angela, just like, is he usually, do they usually ask weeks or days? And Angela was like, oh, um, it could be both. He was like now Angela, you know, they don't care about weeks.
[00:44:28] So I thought that was intentional on Angela's part to be like, wait, I can't give her everything. There was, there was a lot of awkward tension in my opinion between the three of them. Cause even when Devin's joins, uh, D is like, oh, well, Devin's, you're not feeling well. You don't have to be here. And he's like, well, oh, I can, I can leave. You don't want me to study with you guys. No, no, no, no, no. We want you.
[00:44:54] I was just saying that you don't have to, we'd love to have you, but you don't have to be here. And it was like very weird. Um, now I will say this again, the studying was not very good in general. Devin's helped out a lot. Um, and I still think that D is behind in terms of like, as you mentioned, the kinds of questions they're likely to ask. And I'm also not saying that you shouldn't be studying all the time. You should, the longer and harder you study the better.
[00:45:21] Uh, but, um, but you know, for the most part, the questions in these competitions are so easy that it doesn't require a lot, uh, unless you want to be, you know, uh, like Kevin Martin and big brother Canada five, uh, like you don't need like everything completely locked down. Obviously again, the more, the better. The bigger one is final three, part three. Those questions tend to be a little harder. At least recently they have been.
[00:45:49] Um, and that's where you need a little bit more, uh, knowledge sometimes. So, uh, you know, just saying that like you can pretty quickly get on par with the rest of the house. As long as nobody else has been hardcore studying, which nobody else really has. So, um, Taylor talks to Melody and, uh, they talk about how Drew wants to keep Devin's very annoying. Um, but ultimately they get to decide who leaves, not Drew.
[00:46:16] Um, Melody wonders who would Angela put up? Because remember Angela, uh, Melody and Taylor have already talked about the idea of potentially keeping D and Melody was like, nah, she's burned me in the past. Like, I don't want to do that, but it's still kind of percolating in her brain. What would Angela do? And Taylor's like, probably Barrett and Drew. And Melody's like, would she put up Drew though? Like, I don't even know if she would. Cause Drew's kind of like trying to work with them. Uh, and Taylor's like, I think she would. I think Angela really doesn't like Drew.
[00:46:46] Like I can tell by like the body language. Uh, she's very right about that. Yeah. Taylor asks Melody who her ideal final four is. She says, well, maybe like you, me, Barrett, Drew, but I'm not sure about Drew. Taylor's like, well, he'll take you to the final two. She's like, yeah, maybe. But like, I'm also open to working with Yash because I know Barrett and Drew were playing me for so much of the season. And Taylor says, well, yeah, I think obviously Yash should be in our final four. I don't think it would be smart to include both Barrett and Drew in the final four.
[00:47:15] I don't think we can trust the two of them together. Um, so, you know, interesting conversation that kind of splits off for the rest of the day as they go into separate little pockets. Um, Devin's also while studying with D and Angela does mention that he like after having talked to Drew again is starting to believe that Drew really wasn't working against them. It doesn't mean that he'll like, it doesn't mean that he'll pick them over Melody and Barrett.
[00:47:42] Like he's still against Drew, but like he's, he thinks maybe they've over estimated the amount that he's been working against them. Uh, which of course is just more, more fuel for D here, uh, to work against Devin's with. Right. It's like, no, you're just feeling closer to Drew. We know he's been out to get us this entire time. So D finally has her conversation with Taylor. She gives her a very similar pitch to the one she gave Yash.
[00:48:10] She talks about how she was loyal to that group, that alliance, but they've turned on her and now she is free to work with Taylor and Yash. She reveals again, how much Drew is talking about going after Yash and how much of a threat that is she says she's a bigger target than Angela. You don't want to be sitting next to, uh, next to Angela on the block. And Taylor's like, okay, well, what would you do if you came off the block? Keep Devin's or Angela. And she says, well, I would keep Devin's because he's a better competitor. And I think that we need more competitors.
[00:48:40] She said, well, aren't you worried about him going back to Drew and Barrett? Isn't that the whole thing? Uh, and she says, well, no, that's, that's the thing with me here. I wouldn't let him. And if he did, I'd go against him. Taylor's like, okay, well, I'll, I'll talk it over with Yash. We'll, we'll like kind of figure out what we want to do. Uh, Taylor leaves and Dee's like, I think that went well. I think that went well.
[00:49:07] Um, and it is, it's a tricky, it's a tricky trap here. Uh, and one of the reasons why, uh, advocating for yourself on the block can often be pretty difficult, especially if you're in Dee's position is that like, Dee's making multiple
[00:49:48] cases. By Devin's. Yeah. While also relying on Devin's to be that third vote. Uh, and also advocating for the idea that you'd also want to potentially keep Devin's in the event that you won the blockbuster. Uh, and so she's trying to walk that tightrope by saying, well, here's the benefit to me staying in the event that Devin's is also here. Devin's wins the blockbuster. That's the event where she's against Angela in the first place is not only that, like I'm
[00:50:15] a bigger threat, I'm a bigger target, uh, and I'm winning comps for you, but also with me here, I can prevent Devin's from going back to Drew and Barrett. I will stop him from doing that. And if I can't, then I will just declare war on him because you know, I'm never going back there. You don't see me talking to Barrett. Uh, and this argument, I think shouldn't work. Right. I was about to say this pitch shouldn't work, but that was a response that Taylor could be
[00:50:44] like, okay, that covers both of it. Thanks. Yeah. And it is a point that they mentioned when they talk about it later, but we are not quite there yet. Dee talks to Angela. Angela tells Dee about how Barrett told her that Drew wasn't really behind the nominations and Dee's like, and you believed it? He's protecting his friend. Uh, Dee says she can't do it. She can't believe that Devin's is still trusting Drew.
[00:51:11] She lets Angela know that Taylor told her in the conversation they just had, which did happen. Um, Taylor was telling Dee that Drew wanted Devin's out last week when he was HOH, that Drew was the one pitching for Devin's to leave. Taylor is lying about this. It's an intentional lie to try to continue to further create a distance between Drew and Devin's. She's going to tell Devin's about this soon. We'll get there. Angela says that, uh, Hey, Barrett might want to talk to you.
[00:51:39] He's feeling a little, uh, a little bad. Barrett had told Drew right after his conversation with Angela that he, he wants to talk to Dee because Angela said that Dee really loves him still and wants to be friends with him. And he was like, Oh, that's nice. Like, and he mentioned to Drew after he's like, I think I might want to talk to Dee and break the tension a little bit. Uh, so Angela saying Barrett might want to talk to you. He's feeling a little depressed, you know, about this whole situation. Uh, and Dee says, good. It's too fucking late.
[00:52:08] This is Barrett's worst mistake of his life. I've known people that have nightmares of their mistakes in these games. Oh, Angela, I need to be here long enough to seek revenge. You will. You will. I want revenge, Angela. I need it. I need it. And she's like, well, hi, I still need to have more fun too. Oh, I don't care about fun anymore. I want to fight. I want revenge.
[00:52:36] I want blood, tears shed. I want little eight-year-old dreams to crash down. Oh God. No, you don't understand how bad I want this, Angela. I want somebody to have nightmares about me for the rest of their lives. For the rest of your life, I want you to think about me. When you go to a job interview, I want you to think about me. And then we'll be friends with you after. Right.
[00:53:05] Because is it the rest of his big brother life or the rest of his actual life? Because job interviews, that's an actual life. So at what point does the friendship start? Um, this is great. I love this. It is like a vengeful woman is something to see.
[00:53:29] Um, which is funny because it's just like in of the three on of the three icons. It feels like D feels the most betrayed by Barrett because in her mind or in her actions, she's like, I would have taken Barrett to the end. Even though she's considered like turning on Barrett, putting Barrett up. Uh, and she truly believed that she could take Barrett to the end.
[00:53:55] But that was because she thought she could beat Barrett because she saw Barrett as doing nothing. Now that Barrett has put up the three icons. It's like she just completely wiped her memory of anything 60 of the past 60 days. And now she has an enemy. So now she has something to fight for or fight against. And it is like she is so motivated, right? Like it's what her camera talk was.
[00:54:21] And she's mentioned this a few days ago as well that like one of her biggest regrets on Survivor 50 was that when her time came, she just kind of rolled over. She was like, ah, they got me. Uh, that's it. And she didn't, she didn't fight. She didn't like, she didn't want to make too many waves. She didn't want to ruin anybody else's game. And so she just kind of let it happen. And she's like, I'm not, I'm not letting this one slip from my grasp.
[00:54:48] Uh, and, uh, and also she talked to Drew about this. She's like the people, they have nightmares about the decisions that they make in these games. Like they regret them. Uh, and I, um, you know, I don't, I don't think that's the case. It doesn't take two years or anything. And D wants this to be Drew's, wants this to be Barrett's nightmare. Uh, she wants this to be the thing he regrets.
[00:55:16] Um, and, uh, and, and honestly, like, this is why, this is why I like Survivor is on Big Brother. One of the reasons why I like Survivor is on Big Brother. Uh, I really, um, I was doing an interview earlier in the week. Uh, and, uh, I was asked about like, how do you feel about Survivor players coming to Big Brother?
[00:55:36] And I was like, I know some people are mixed on it, but like, I really do feel like they add this energy, this frantic, fast-paced energy. They come in and they're hungry, literally and figuratively. Uh, and, um, and I, I, I kinda, I kinda like it. Now, what I don't like is giving them powers. And giving them a guaranteed first HOH. Yes.
[00:56:03] Um, but, uh, but I, I think we have not really missed when it comes to bringing Survivor players on Big Brother so far. Uh, I think that like, in terms of entertainment, um, they've brought a lot. Uh, I think that the, the problem is the balance, uh, of like giving them too much, uh, when it, when it comes to those powers and stuff. Um, yeah, I mean, cause they tried it years ago. Like, oh, well, what, what would happen if we bring two, uh, amazing race people on? Let's see what happens. And then it's like, oh shoot. Okay.
[00:56:33] Few years later. Okay. Let's try Survivor. And I mean, it is a different kind of energy, but it brings a fresh, like that's what they look for when they bring on new players. Right. Is this fresh perspective. This, this, this new way of, of playing. That's why you see this different style of gameplay coming from D and Devins, not necessarily from Angela. And so it, it does kind of, it makes things exciting.
[00:57:00] Like, I, I mean, if you think of a world where D and Devins were not in here, this entire game, obviously the game looks completely different. And we may not have had some of the most exciting moments that we've had this season. If it weren't for the franticness, the I'm bored, let's change the vote, uh, type of, type of energy that we've gotten from D and Devins. Yeah. So they haven't missed yet. Three, three for three. Cause obviously I love seeing Sari on big brother. Bring Sari back.
[00:57:32] Uh, so D makes this big rant. She's also now with the M and M's, uh, made some kind of like symbol and then put RIP, uh, that people are all like kind of trying to interpret. Like, what does this mean? Um, and so, uh, it's very funny because shortly after this, Drew goes to Barrett and he's like, you know how you wanted to talk to D today? Maybe hold off on that. To BH, TBH. Uh, I just feel like maybe not the day.
[00:58:01] Maybe not the day. Um, and he was kind of right. Uh, Drew talks to Melody and they, they're speculating. They're talking about the RIP and they're like, well, who do you think D would bring to the final two anyway? Uh, cause I think maybe that's what she's talking about. Uh, Drew's like, well, I think she'd win against Angela. So she'll probably bring Angela. Like nobody would vote out Angela. Uh, and Melody's like, I would. Like, I don't want to let Angela get to the final two.
[00:58:30] I'd rather have Yash in the house than Angela. And Drew's like, well, that's funny. Cause Angela is sitting on the block this week and you're not voting her out. She's like, well, that's why I'm thinking about it. He goes, are you? He's like, yeah, but I don't know. I don't know if we'd have the votes. He's like, well, hold on. Um, one of the icons, you, me. He goes, you would? Yeah. You would keep D? Says, I would keep both. Cause he thinks, he thinks they're talking about Devon's.
[00:59:01] Uh, she's like, well, no. No, no, no. Devon's is going to come after us, but it's something that it's something to think about, I guess. Right? Like Devon's would definitely be down to keep D over Angela. Yeah. He said, yeah, Devon's would definitely be down. She's like, well, listen, if D wins the blockbuster, that's a no brainer. I'm not changing my mind on Devon's period. He's like, well, I thought we wanted to take out Angela. I mean, what do you mean? And then he tries to convince her on Devon's.
[00:59:26] But the point is that she's bringing up potentially keeping D with Drew because it would just need her, Drew and Devon's. But man, it would probably be hard to get Yash and Taylor on board for that. And, and, and once again, cause we have had this before this season, we have a world where both sides want to accomplish the same goal, but they would never buy into that.
[00:59:55] We don't even need to talk to them about that. And we could potentially have another accidental unanimous vote. Yeah. Yeah. We'll see. We'll see. Yash and Taylor, in the meantime, they finally talk. Yash, Taylor asks, so are you thinking about keeping Devon? If the, or sorry, are you thinking about keeping D if Devon's wins? He says, we should talk about it.
[01:00:24] But my thought is we keep D in every scenario. We evict Devon's in every scenario. And hold on. I'm like, oh, I'm like, oh my God. That's not right. Hold on. Hold on. He's really doing it. Taylor agrees.
[01:00:51] She says, my only thing is I don't trust that Devon's will actually vote to keep D if he wins. And that will leave us hanging. Only two votes to keep D. So I want to talk to Melody and see if she'd be down. And he's like, okay, yeah, I hear that. Yeah, I agree. And like, that's why Devon's needs to go. We can't trust him. He might go to D to Drew and Barrett. But so, oh man, can we get Melody on board though?
[01:01:21] Can we, could we get Melody to agree to this? Like she, she might not want to do it. She might not want to go against Drew and Barrett. Hmm. Maybe, maybe we approach her last minute. Like if, if Devon's wins the blockbuster, we approach Melody at the last minute and try to get her to come along with it. Um, and then they get interrupted, uh,
[01:01:47] because Yash leaves and Devon's comes in and Taylor's just like, so what would you do if you won the blockbuster? He's like, well, I would want, I would probably vote for D to stay because that's another person that can win, win HOH against Barrett and Drew. Like I really want them gone. Like I trusted them a lot and Barrett was going to vote me out last week. Taylor's like, well, actually it was Drew that convinced Barrett to vote you out. Drew was the one spearheading that whole thing. And he's like, really? Yeah. I was surprised myself when I came up with that lie.
[01:02:16] Uh, and he's like, well, that's why I'm after him too. I don't think there's anything Barrett has decided to do on his own in this game. And she's like, no, I don't think so. Uh, and so he pitches that, uh, you know, him remaining in the house means that he is a replacement nominee of true wins HOH and targets her and Yash. And that means that he's on the block next to her instead of, you know, say Angela. Uh, and so that would be a much better situation.
[01:02:42] Um, so he leaves and Yash comes back and Taylor says, well, Devin's told me he'd probably vote to keep D. So I don't trust it. I think we should still approach Melody. Uh, probably. Why do you say probably? I think I don't catch these things. Um, Yash says we need D to stay. The fact that he's not even sure if he wants to, we need her to stay. Uh, she says, well, uh, well, here's what I did. I lied to him. And I said that drew wanted him out last week.
[01:03:12] He's like, good. And they're like, you know what? We need this to happen. We don't have to explain ourselves because they're kind of trying to come up with explanations. Listen, we just vote to keep her. It'll be four V three. And they've gotten to the point now where there's a, it's four V three. They are fully willing to now burn the trio of Barrett drew and melody burn Barrett, uh,
[01:03:40] who didn't nominate him, picked him for the veto, took the shot that Yash has been wanting to take. And now D has Yash willing to burn Barrett, potentially blindside him by keeping D and taking out Angela on his HOH. Uh, and, and, and listen, they even say it to themselves. Taylor goes, you know, the fact that she was even able to convince us to, to do this means that she is still quite a threat.
[01:04:09] And Yash is like, yeah, I mean, her pitch worked on me, but only because it made sense. Right. Just can't even, you're saying the words that people think you should say, but you're talking yourself out of it. Cause you're like, no, no, no. But it made sense. That was the purpose of the pitch. No one's going to make a good sales pitch and it not made sense to you. You need those solar panels. They're telling you why it makes sense to buy it immediately while they, you know, just cold call you at your house.
[01:04:39] They're making it make sense. So it's just like, it's wild that that was even part of the conversation because yes, that does make that, that makes, makes it seem like she's a threat. That's one of those things you think after the fact, after you've kept D and you're like, dang, the fact that she was able to convince us should have been the sign, but no, they discussed it. It was on the table. So. Yeah, man. I can't believe she was able to convince us. That's really impressive.
[01:05:08] But we're convinced. Too late. The train has left the station. We are committed to keeping D no matter what, no matter why, no matter what the reason was, it has to happen because I can't think of anything else that would make more sense in this moment. So. Oops. And it really like, I really don't think it makes much sense at all.
[01:05:38] Not, not only is D lying in many parts of the pitch, misrepresenting things, rewriting history, you know, making promises for things that, you know, she's probably not going to be able to cash. Um, but like, even beyond that, it's just like, Josh, you can't, you can't target her. And she is better at competitions than Angela. Like, Josh, your whole thing.
[01:06:08] The reason why I have you as the front runner to win this game is because I believe that there's a good chance you can comp out with or without needing to win HOHs. Because you should be taking out one of your major competitors this week. Like next week, if you're on the block because that because Drew wins, you shouldn't be worrying about who you're sitting next to. You should be worrying about who you're competing against in the veto. Like. Josh.
[01:06:38] Like think. Think beyond Thursday. It's not even who, who, I mean, it is about who he's competing against, but also consider, okay, if I'm on the block with, with, with Taylor, who are they wanting to get out? It's the voters that matter. Like next week, if it's not the ideal situation and you and D stays and you're on the block with someone else, will D keep you?
[01:07:04] Will it make sense for D to keep someone who could beat her in competitions? Yeah. You like, you want to sit next to D on the block? Devins is keeping D. Drew is breaking a tie to keep D. Like, uh, you know, it's, it's still, it's still like, uh, like it's not that great. If you're really concerned that you don't have Melody, uh, then they would have the votes to take you out regardless.
[01:07:33] Now the, the hope is that like Melody and Barrett would be votes to keep Yash over somebody like D versus if he was up against the block up against Angela on the block. Like maybe there'd be something else going on there. Uh, and like, yeah, they, maybe there's a world where that makes sense, but, but also number one, like we're still in the blockbuster era right now. Um, and, uh, and that's maybe like one very specific scenario.
[01:08:00] And again, it's like that scenario requires Taylor to have beat you in the veto. Like, uh, it's, which she can do obviously, but like, like Yash, the, the, the, the comp out strategy requires taking out your comp threats. Yeah. Um, but listen, credit to D for having made this case.
[01:08:24] And in my opinion, getting Yash to go completely against his interests in wanting to keep it not only going against his, but again, willing to burn. Yes. The rest of the new players about it. Uh, which is the really wild part. Um, because Barrett doesn't want this. I mean, we'll, we'll talk a little bit about that in just a moment, but like you're going to potentially ruin the relationship. You have like, does will, will Barrett want D out over you?
[01:08:51] If you blindside him to keep D I don't know anymore. Right? Like that's, that's a whole other thing. So, uh, I just feel like it's very now. And listen for all of these reasons, because I do think it's pretty short-sighted thinking to keep D in the way that Yash is thinking about it. I do think there's a chance that like they wake up today or even Thursday and go, what were we thinking? Like, hold on. Yeah.
[01:09:20] I just thought about it for more than two seconds. Uh, and like outside of D's influence. And I'm like, wait a minute, what did we agree to? This doesn't make sense at all. Like it's one of those decisions where like at any time they could come to their senses. Yeah. So stay tuned for that. But for right now, hot damn. It's like they need to. D is safe in every scenario. Yes.
[01:09:46] It's like they need to step out the, the range of D's mist in order to see the light and understand. So it, it, maybe it benefits them. The fact that she made this pitch on a Tuesday as opposed to a Wednesday, because they will get some, some clarity and understand like it. Because now with the idea that D stays, no matter what, they can start to envision a house with D beyond this week.
[01:10:15] Like, and then maybe things will start to get a little scary because they're like, wait, if D wins, what, if she turned on this alliance that, or I guess she's trying to say it's because she got burned. But if they start to think if she turned on this alliance that she has since day two, what loyalty would she have to us? But look, at the end of the day, I cannot blame Yash.
[01:10:38] Even I saw something in preseason Survivor 45 D and picked her in the RHAP Survivor Draft and won my one and only Survivor Draft. Right. So, hey. But we really, we really needed to reach to pull that one into the conversation. Huh? Huh, Asia? I have to remind people. Huh, Asia? Who's in the pudding?
[01:11:02] Because I, you know, I couldn't, I couldn't defend myself on the 46 draft because I went and actually played Survivor. And so I. Oh, wow. Yeah. Oh. And big time on my own podcast. No, I honestly, there is, there's, there's clearly, we've talked about it earlier in the season as well. For all of these blunders, there is something there. Yeah.
[01:11:32] Uh, that is, uh, is quite, quite effective at moments like this. So it'll be interesting to see if she's able to, to hold, uh, hold this, uh, this flip. Now, uh, there are a couple of things left to do in the day. Um, Angela talks to, uh, Drew and Melody. She's kind of like hanging out with them, uh, joking around. Uh, and this is where we're going to, um, to pull, pull back what we talked about before.
[01:12:00] Remember that pool clip we were talking about? Uh, Angela's like, Drew, you mad at me? He's like, no, no, I love you, Angela. She's like, well, listen, I was, I was sitting across from you guys in the pool last night and, um, I could see in the water. Melody's face, beat red. Drew looks, she looks directly. Yeah.
[01:12:29] But we play, when we played footsies, footsies, Angela, we played footsies when we played footsies. And Angela goes, oh, yes, footsies. Uh, and they're like, oh, our case has been cracked. You know everything now, Angela. She's, I'll keep quiet. Uh, and Melody's like, I don't like Drew though. I don't like him like that. She's like, oh, you do. You know, maybe you just had a lot to drink.
[01:12:57] Oh, no, no, no, no, no, I was having a lot to drink. You, you, you know, you're guilty of something when someone accuses you of something. And I'm talking about Drew. As soon as Angela said this, I saw y'all in the pool. He looked directly at Melody like, oh my gosh, mom caught me coming in the window last night. She was sitting on the front porch. That's a boarding, Asia.
[01:13:31] Oh, my God. Yeah, uh, I think, listen, I'm no expert here. I only watched one season of Love Island. Um, but, uh, I think what they might be alluding to here is something that the kids are calling French fries. Yes.
[01:13:52] Uh, there was a picture of a wide shot of them in the pool and Angela sitting on like the lounger right there slightly behind them. Um, so she didn't see, she did indeed see exactly what they were doing that the feeds did not show us. So, but it was, it was footsies. Melody tried to own the narrative. Props to her for trying that. Footsie, footsie, footsie, footsie.
[01:14:22] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, so, uh, so Melody goes upstairs and she talks to Barrett because that's where he lives. Um, and, uh, and again, it's like, this is why I was talking about Barrett, right? He spent the entire day not talking game, anyone, mostly upstairs, occasionally talking to the cameras. And it's like, there's no follow through.
[01:14:49] Uh, she, you know, Yash and Taylor are talking about how last night Yash and Taylor were talking. I like that guy Barrett when they went upstairs to do rounds with him because they trusted him and they wanted to work with him downstairs a whole day, not having talked to Barrett and hadn't barely talked to Barrett. The, the, you know, leading up to that conversation the day before their minds are drifting. And they're like, Barrett doesn't come talk to us.
[01:15:18] Barrett talks to Drew. Barrett talks to Melody. The three of them together. And it gets to the point where they're willing to burn their relationship with Barrett already because they're talking instead now to people like Dee. Um, so Barrett's upstairs and Melody, who's also decided to go a little bit rogue here, uh, pitches the idea to Barrett. Like, I'm thinking, what if we evicted Angela? And immediately Barrett's like, why?
[01:15:48] Hold on. When did this happen? Uh, she's like, well, he's just like anybody sitting next to Angela goes home. He's like, no, I mean, it would be a waste of a week if Angela went home. Like that would, I'm no. She's like, yeah, yeah. I just, you know, I thought it might, it might force Yash and Taylor to be more loyal, you know? Um, because, and it was just so funny because it's the same thing that Yash and Taylor are thinking. Yeah.
[01:16:13] Uh, and he's like, I, I mean, I thought of that, but like, I really feel like it's better for her to stay. But I mean, like, hey, y'all are the votes. You can do what you want. Um, and Melody's like, I probably can't get Yash and Taylor on board anyway. Um. Look. No, probably not. This would be the worst birthday surprise. Shout out to Barrett. Happy birthday today. Right. Wednesday. Right.
[01:16:40] Uh, I think it may be his, uh, the goal of his birthday is to make sure everybody's on the same page that it would be a waste of an HOH. And get the, the ceasefire all in one room. And if they are all on one accord that they all want Angela out, it very well could change the plan. Yes. Barrett needs to get to work. He needs to talk to Yash and Taylor and make sure that they know his feelings on this.
[01:17:07] Uh, make sure they know that he's with them and not drew. Um, and, uh, he needs to really lock in here. Cause again, there's very ample, uh, room to flip this vote back. Cause it doesn't really make sense for anybody. And, uh, and, and there's plenty of time to, to make it happen. So be aware of, be aware of that.
[01:17:33] Uh, Melody talks about how she, you know, she can, she can't think she can, doesn't think she can get Yash and Taylor on board anyway. And they talk about how they do think that Yash wants to work with them. They, he, he told them both the day before that he wanted to go to final four with them. Um, she just really hopes he's not lying about the bribe because she wants, what she wants to do is tell him that if he is, he's not getting votes in the final two.
[01:17:59] Uh, which is talked about a lot now that if Yash really did take that bribe, they're not going to give him votes in the final two. The problem is nobody else other than Melody and Barrett feel that way, but that's still two votes. And, you know, it's not like, you know, Yash had Barrett's vote on lock against some people anyway, but like, uh, it is something to be wary of, you know, a Yash versus D in the final two.
[01:18:25] Barrett and Melody might be more open to voting for a vet. If it's also revealed that the bribe was true. Uh, and, uh, and they might feel bitter about that as much or more than they feel bitter about the vets. Who knows? Um, he does tell her about how, uh, he was told that drew was acting mad about his HOA training, the nominations. Drew's so annoying, so on and so forth. Um, then, uh, drew comes in melody leaves briefly.
[01:18:55] Drew is still kind of like. You remember drew the day before was asking if Barrett had a crush on Mallory. He's like, have you, uh, so have you gone from Mallory to melody or. It was like, no, not really, but it's kind of fun. And, and Drew's like, ha ha ha. Uh, and Barrett's like, nah, and I mean, not really, but, but I do get a segment when I do. Ha. Ha.
[01:19:25] Like, nah, come on. She's cool as fuck. But like, you know, it's not like that. Maybe on unlocked. I got a lot of ground to cover on the proper episode. Maybe, maybe. Um, melody comes back and the three of them hang out late into the night, which is kind of the opposite of what Barrett wants to do if he wants to flip this vote back. Yeah. Cause I think as soon as Yash and Taylor understand that drew also wants Angela out, then they understand.
[01:19:55] Okay. Then that does not interest us that he wants the same thing. Cause that means he wants to keep Devon's. Well, they already know he wants to keep Devon's, but if drew wants to keep D that could be concerning to them. Right. So that, that, that's what Barrett should want on his birthday is for everybody to come together, which they probably will, but not for the purposes of talking game.
[01:20:21] Like they're probably going to make him a cake and have fun and play games. And Barrett's not the pushy type. He's not the wait. I want to make this happen. Let me go ahead and break this up. And we need to talk. So I wonder, is he going to be active enough to make that happen outside of his birthday festivities? Yeah. So that's about the day.
[01:20:46] Um, just really impressive and fun work from D here. There's no world where she should be the safest person on the block safe in both scenarios that she remains on the block. Uh, but as of right now, she is, um, not only because she's got Yash and Taylor on board, but she also has melody and drew on board at the moment.
[01:21:13] Now, melody, again, I don't think, I think she actually was pitching it to Barrett and Barrett actually shut it down for her. And so she will back off. Melody's not going to burn Barrett over D. Um, but if Yash and Taylor do approach her about the vote, I think she'd be much more open and she'd be then willing to approach Barrett and say, Hey, Yash and Taylor want this. They can do it if they, with or without us, we should just get on board. That could also happen.
[01:21:41] Um, so lots of different ways this could go down, but, uh, but what a day, what a day on the feeds with, uh, with a massive turnaround for D. Truly. And if it does turn back around, it still was an impressive play. It still was impressive that she was able to allow them or she was able to put herself in a position to possibly stay. Uh, you know, if, if, if at the last minute tomorrow, they, no, we can't keep D that's dumb.
[01:22:10] Like we, we need to stick to a survivor player is going home this week. Then, Hey, still very impressive work from D showing why, you know, why she has the chops from playing the, you know, this being her fourth show, uh, showing that she knows what she's doing. You cannot deny that she did not just roll over and just like, take it. Um, and so props to D no matter what happens tomorrow. Yeah. Anything else from yesterday you want to bring up Asia?
[01:22:40] Uh, there was a conversation with Devens and drew in the gym where Devens was talking about like Timothy Chalamet, who he kept calling Chamolet, but he was talking about Timothy Chalamet and Tom Holland and saying like he lasted longer than them in the game. And I was so confused because I was like, what is he talking about? But then feeds cut. So I'll never know. Hmm. Yeah. It was weird. Yeah. Cause he was like, yeah.
[01:23:09] There's a lot of movie talk. Uh, Drew spent a long time reciting a movie to melody. Devens talks about movies a lot. I didn't quite see that, uh, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, it was so weird. Yeah. Um, but besides that, it, you know, it ended up turning into a very interesting day of feeds.
[01:23:31] And I don't know if you feel this way, especially, um, you know, specifically this season compared to previous seasons, but with it being the final eight, I don't understand why the house feels so small. Like, is it always this way or is it just that we have these factions? We have the icons. Then we have Devens, Barry, Drew, Drew, Melody, Yash Taylor. But for some reason, it doesn't feel like we still have eight possibilities for a winner.
[01:23:59] It feels like it's D Devens or Yash. You mean like the, there just feels like there's, uh, not a lot of players, not the physically the house is small. Right. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I mean, I, I think that honestly, I think it normally feels even smaller now. Like, uh, usually it's like at this point in the game, I was like, okay, I can tell you exactly who like the two to three people who are going to win the rest of the competitions are. Yeah.
[01:24:27] Um, and I can tell you the like two to three people who are going to win this game. Um, and this season it's, it, I was going to say Yash, Barrett, maybe, maybe, uh, maybe Drew, but I was a little skeptical of him. Uh, and then whoever remains of D and Devens, those are the three that are going to like probably win the rest of the comps with primarily Yash being the person.
[01:24:54] Um, but now they're keeping D potentially with Devens potentially, which means there are like five people who of the seven that are like all potentially comp winners. Um, and then when it comes to winners in general, it's really just like Taylor and Melody are the two people that like don't really have a ton of win equity, especially if Angela ends up leaving. Um, and Taylor and Melody absolutely could still pick up win equity though in a house full of comp threats, that's going to be a lot harder.
[01:25:23] So, uh, so yeah, I mean, in many ways, I feel like this game is more wide open than it normally is, but, uh, but you know, it does, I think, especially after what was essentially a double eviction, we lost a bunch of people quickly. Um, and so all of a sudden it feels so much smaller than it used to just, just a minute ago. And I think it will feel a little bit more open once one of the icons leave, um, which will, will happen this week.
[01:25:50] Uh, but I do appreciate Melody's awareness of her own game because we even did, we, we even saw Drew. He's like, oh, Angela wins nothing. It has an opinion about everything. And Melody said, so me. Yeah, that's exactly it. Um, it's just that you have a crush on her. So that's why it's different. Um, and then, yeah, one last shout out to Taylor.
[01:26:13] Uh, I don't know if we've ever seen someone say it's a serious matter on the live feeds, but that's a very important saying in our sorority. Um, so shout out to Taylor, my sorority sister. Um, I love seeing AKs on reality TV. So shout out to her. There you go. All right. Well, that's what we have for you today. Uh, today is Wednesday when these things normally would have happened.
[01:26:41] So I will be back tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern to update you and everything that happens today on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. If this flip holds, uh, what will happen? What will come of it? Um, all of a sudden this week has gotten pretty interesting. So we're going to have to wait and see.
