Big Brother 28 throws the house into overdrive as this week’s campaigning puts the spotlight on who really holds the power—and who’s expendable when alliances fracture. Host Taran Armstrong delivers a full live feed update with guest AJ, guiding listeners through a strategic day packed with shifting loyalties, aggressive pitches, and a side of house hijinks that leave everyone guessing who’s really safe.[00:00:10] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH You know he is the reason, you know what's happened Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again
[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning, welcome to our live feed update for August 19. I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 43 in the house and day full of campaigning.
[00:01:11] Really, just like a lot of campaigning for Kamu to stay. The question is, can it work? Will it work? It'd be a little more effective than you would have assumed. Let's talk about it today and with me to talk about it is AJ. How you doing AJ? I'm doing so well, Taryn. I love getting to talk with the live feed updates with you. And I love nothing more than when it's a fun day full of a lot of conversation and some drama. I'm like, yay, I get to talk about it all.
[00:01:39] Yes, I do have to say up front, I had a bit of a doozy of a day yesterday. Myself, this isn't a Taryn update, but update podcast, but I did have an encounter with a bat, spent about six hours in the ER getting a rabies vaccine. So, uh, Taryn, Taryn, Taryn, whoa.
[00:02:03] So I was a bit out for the count yesterday. I apologize if the details aren't quite as locked in as normal. That's what, Taryn, we had a pre-show. You ain't say nothing about this at all. You dropped a seat on pod. Like, I'm supposed to be at normal? Wait, what? Whoa. Um, anyway, uh, we will still, of course, listen.
[00:02:31] I'm glad you got your rabies shot, my guy. Like, golly. Get away from those bats. Like, dang, stop interacting with bats. We should have learned that a long time ago. Yeah, get him out of here. Um, so, uh, we will still, we will still update, of course, through the day. That's what we're here for. Um, as you know, Yash is the HOH. He nominated Angela and Dee and Hayley.
[00:02:59] Um, Devon's used the Diamond Power of Vito on Dee and nominated Kamu in her place. Uh, as well as formed the, uh, the Mosh Pit Alliance, which consists of, uh, the crossovers plus FAP, uh, which should have the numbers to take out Kamu. Or Haley, depending on which one stays on the block. Um, but, of course, Kamu's gonna want to campaign.
[00:03:28] And he very much has Yash and, uh, and Taylor, who are on his side, to also try to campaign. Um, before we get into that, uh, I do want to say that, uh, there's a, there's a bit more, uh, of an update about, uh, the very interesting and controversial Joe Rogan situation. Okay, talk about Joe Rogan, my friend.
[00:03:55] Yes, yes. Uh, so for those that care about the difference, uh, cause I didn't know, uh, Yash and Kamu went talking about how much they love Joe Rogan's, like, catchphrase or whatever. They were talking about Joe Rogan as a fight commentator, not as a podcaster. Uh, so, uh, that's, uh, I, I mean, seems to be like it would be a difference for anyone that cares.
[00:04:22] Um, not that I would know, uh, but, uh, but there you go. I'm not a guy myself, so I wouldn't know the difference. Right?
[00:04:32] Um, so, uh, regardless, we head into the day and, um, and really, again, the main story of the day here is, uh, is that Haley is going to talk to, or not Haley is going to talk to, that Yash is going to be campaigning through much of the day.
[00:04:54] Uh, and, uh, and trying to convince, especially, um, Melody and Mallory that, uh, that they should be keeping Kamu. That is the main sort of thrust of the day. Kamu himself also is going to campaign a bit. Um, but, uh, but that's the, the main, the main thing to look out for here today, AJ. Yes. And I'm genuinely very, I, I'm impressed with the energy that Yash and Kamu are putting in,
[00:05:23] because this is like first thing in the morning. This is how they start off their day is trying to convince Mallory and Melody to be on their side and keep Kamu. And like, they do not let up on it at all today. Like for hours, you see either one or both of them talk to either Melody or Mallory or both of them together, trying to get them on side. So I'm impressed by the persistence. I think Yash does a lot better job than Kamu, um, when trying to convince, um, Mallory and Melody to keep Kamu,
[00:05:49] mainly because they don't like Kamu. And let me tell you something. I love the idea of hate. Hate is such a strong driving factor. And I think hate is a valid enough reason to vote someone out in this case scenario, especially when I think like that's the right move for Mallory and Melody. Um, with that being said, I think Yash particularly has some very good information to drop on Mallory and Melody that got their will spinning throughout the day. Yes. Yes. Um, Haley for her part is, uh, is not doing too much campaigning,
[00:06:17] but it's having some conversations. She talks to Taylor a lot, um, through the day, uh, and has just been talking to Taylor a lot though. So her perspective is largely that like, you guys should keep Angela. It should be me or, it should be me or Kamu that leave. Like, like Taryn, Taryn, Taryn, like, Oh my goodness. I, I don't like someone who just like, it's like throwing in the towel and I'm not saying Haley's throwing in the towel,
[00:06:45] but she doesn't want to be the first member of jury and then the jury by herself. Like it's like you cast 17 people expecting them to wanting to play hard and play until like they can't play no more. And the fact that Haley feels like either defeated or want to go home or whatever it is, she's not putting her best foot forward. Like Kamu puts a lot of energy in today. Angela is paranoid today, but she still put in some work today. Haley's just accepting life as it comes. And I do not like that from a player. Like that annoys me greatly.
[00:07:14] Yeah. Uh, it's, it's, I mean, do we expect more from, I mean, honestly, to be, to be fair, I do. I think Haley's playing better than she has before. Like, like here's the thing. If you're asking between Haley and Chuck who left last week, who do I expect more from? The answer is Haley. Even after seeing Haley, I still expect it. I'm still like, yeah, she's doing more than what Chuck probably would have done. And with that also being said, I think that's also the annoying part because she has good conversation with Taylor today.
[00:07:42] She has good conversation with Devin's has conversations with D like, but these are just like simple life conversations where I'm like, Haley, you have, I don't know how much of a route you have with Angela. Actually, you don't have a route with Angela, but you could like try to fight in the like niche situation that you're up against Kamu because you also have a good relationship. But no, you don't have a good relationship. I love her mind. But you have, but definitely not. No, no. But she has avenues and routes that like can be explored, but she chooses not to explore them. Like to the point where like,
[00:08:11] even Yash is like, who's been like, we need to get a icon out this week. It was initially D. Yash is like, I'm okay if Haley goes. Like so many people in this house like, yeah, Haley can go. I'm okay with Haley if Haley goes. And I think that's partially because Haley's not fighting for Haley. Haley's not giving people a reason for Haley to stay. And that's. Yeah. Yeah. Haley. I mean, part of the problem is that like, there's roughly two sides of the house, right? Is the icons and mosh pit. And then there's,
[00:08:41] there's Kamu and Yash and Taylor's side. Yes. And Angela from the icons is on the block. And Kamu from the Kamu Taylor Yash side is on the block. And so like, who does she really pitch herself to, to be like, I'm going to be on your side. Right. Because there's a chance she's against either one of them. Theoretically. It would be better to pitch herself to the icons because there's, or sorry, it'd be better to pitch herself to,
[00:09:10] to the opposite. It'd be better to pitch herself to Kamu, Yash and Taylor because it's, there's more of a chance that she's on the block against Angela, but she doesn't need to, they're already voting that way. What she really needs to do ultimately is pitch herself to fat. Right. And, and this is what Kamu and Yash have already understood that fat is the group that controls the votes and they are the neutral party in the votes.
[00:09:36] And so whoever is able to pitch themselves to fat and get their, their attention, their votes is the one that's going to win the day. And that's the advice that Taylor gave Haley at start, like, yo, talk to melody and Haley's like, I thought I was good with melody. Talk to her. Still like talk to Mallory. Like, like you said, that is the one that's controlling the votes. Like, don't just sit there, like try to be proactive. Even if your proactiveness is for not, I prefer you to like, try than to like lay there and die. Yes. And,
[00:10:06] and just to be clear, I, I keep, I'm still, I'm a little bit out of it. I apologize, but I do keep saying that there's, there's actually intrigue to this vote in multiple directions. So keep that in mind. Don't think this is just like all for nothing. Like this is actually, this, this, there's a chance this matters to some degree. Um, so can't Kamu is going to campaign to Mallory. Um, Kamu kicks off the campaign. Uh, and I agree. I don't think Kamu does a great job here. Uh,
[00:10:34] especially because he is like, not, uh, what he's saying is going to kind of go against what Yash had planned to say. Primarily, you know, Kamu is pitching. I'm going after the vets. Okay. Uh, he tells Mallory about these power. He has a bribe power. Our only Yash and I know about it. Um, which is not, not really. Uh,
[00:10:59] he says that he thinks she used it for the diamond power veto to be played, which she didn't. The Evans wanted her to, um, he says that she also tried to use it with Yash and he tells Mallory the truth, which is that, uh, D tried to use it to keep both her and Angela safe. And then when that didn't work, just her safe. Um, now this is not what Yash had planned to do with Mallory,
[00:11:28] which was to lie and say that D tried to get melody and Mallory on the block with the bribe. Um, so that's a little bit of an issue. It doesn't really come up too much, but it's a bit of an issue. He does say that he trusts Yash and Taylor and that they should work with FAP as a seven person group, essentially a counter mosh pit, but then they would also have Lala. Uh, and Mallory's like, yeah, let's, uh, I like that idea. Um,
[00:11:55] essentially positioning FAP again as the center of two, two sides. And it's really like, which side are you going to choose? Um, you know, uh, but all, well also kind of like admitting to, yeah, our side already has a bit of a side. Um, but, but this is the choice that, uh, that is being presented to theoretically all of FAP. The reality is we know Drew and Barrett have already chosen their side. Uh,
[00:12:24] the real, the real meat to this is what do Mallory and Melody want to do moving forward? Yes. Yes. And I, I don't know how appealing this like pitch from KAMU is of that seven. I think, Mallory and Melody talks about it. Like the icons are not as strong as performers or competitors as commonly Yash's in particular. And also like in the, uh, mosh pit side, like FAP is in control, like to Melody and Mallory's mind, FAP is in control. It is four or three. Meanwhile,
[00:12:54] if they jump to the other side and Mallory and Melody's mind, okay, so now it's four against four, uh, best case scenario considering just Taylor, la la, Yash and KAMU. Four against four and they're much better competitors on that side. So it's not an appealing like proposition from KAMU, which is why I like watching it. I was like, Mallory's like just being polite to this man, but she's not considering what he's saying at all. Right. Yes. Um, now KAMU finishes up his campaign. In my opinion, it goes nowhere. Uh, the Mallory has not,
[00:13:23] not changed an ounce from before this to after this, uh, based on what she says to Yash in just a second. Um, KAMU leaves the room, briefly talks to Yash before Yash enters and, uh, and starts his campaign and says, Hey Yash, just so you know, I told Mallory about his bribe power. Um, and Yash is like, okay. Uh, so Yash now knows that she was told, but does not know the details of what she was told. And Yash has now kind of, and Yash has now kind of been caught in a couple of different,
[00:13:52] of different lies here. Again, doesn't seem to be something that Mallory is like honed in on, but he did tell Mallory just yesterday that he thinks D has, uh, an HOH takeover power, um, and is about to tell her the lie he planned to tell, which is, he says to Mallory, yeah, D has a bribe power. She tried to use it to get you and melody on the block. Um, which also is not what Kamu just said, uh,
[00:14:22] that she tried to do. Um, so not the best start here, but, uh, Yash is persistent. And we know this from the lyric week, uh, when lyric was in danger, he was, uh, just persistently, uh, a force of like, no, I think lyric saying is good. Um, and I, when I say persistent, I mean it because I think this conversation starts at like 11 AM and, uh,
[00:14:52] and goes for, uh, I think like nearly two hours. Then melody joins and it continues. Get your tickets now for the dog stars. It's no surprise how fast civilization can disappear. Yash is basically like hounding this all day long, despite all of the pushback that he's getting from Mallory. He spends a long time doing this. He tells Mallory about the summit leaking, the summit, of course, being the conversation they all had about going after the icons, and how it got back to D somehow,
[00:16:21] probably through Barrett. He tells her that D has the BB bribe power. He lies about what she tried to do with it. He says that she should join his side, essentially. Like they have the numbers. They even have Lala, who they don't even give information to, but because she'll just do what they tell her to. That becomes relevant later. Mallory counters all of his arguments by saying, this is a really great chance to get out a great competitor with no blood on our hands.
[00:16:50] People are going to be scared to go after him later. We don't need him to go after the icons. We've got plenty of numbers, as you just described. We're good enough at competitions, and they're bad enough at competitions. And frankly, when Kamu was in power, he didn't want to work with me. You know, like he nominated Melody. Like, what are we doing? And it just kind of goes in circles like that for a long time.
[00:17:20] It's a lot of like, Mallory pushing, and Yash being like, good points. I can see. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I can agree with that. But, and then going back, and then Mallory being like, I see where you're coming from, Yash, and I would consider it. But, and then going, just back and forth. Because here's the thing. I think Mallory already knows she's voting on Kamu,
[00:17:49] and Mallory's just trying to figure out a way, like, how do we let Kamu, not Kamu, Yash know without losing Yash. I still want Yash on side. She still plans to work with Yash in the future. And Mallory's 100% right. When are you ever going to get a chance at Kamu again? Like, Taryn, like, at what point did Jack start winning out, and y'all couldn't stop him? What point did Chelsea McKenzie start winning out, and y'all couldn't stop him? Like, Kamu is like, built, like, for this game to like, run these in-game cons even further. So, if Kamu loses the BBB, like, this is Mallory's best chance. Kamu gone,
[00:18:18] Mallory becomes a lot bigger threats and challenges, and likely won a lot more without Kamu in the house. With that being said, like, Yash is a dog with a bone. He's not letting go. He wants to keep Kamu. He will concede to Hayley all day long, but like, Kamu, he keeps trying. I think the Melody conversation is very much interesting, because I think Melody is more on the hook with some of Yash's points. One in particular. Yes. Yes. In the meantime, though, Dee is going to
[00:18:46] officially tell Barrett about her bribe power. He already had found out, but he gets the official tell. Just sloppy work from Dee in general to have taken so long to tell Barrett, and especially sloppy work to have taken so long to still haven't, hasn't even talked to Mallory about it. And so, you know, she is hearing about it for the first time from people like Kamu and Yash. Just, I don't, like, Dee has completely dropped the ball.
[00:19:15] She got saved with a diamond power veto, but she's still barely doing anything through the day. Devin's also mostly taking the day off, and it's just like, you guys need to be putting, we're like, yeah, it's, it's a really tough hill to climb for Kamu to stay, but Yash is putting in the hours, and you two are just kind of chilling. And that's basically how they operate, right? They wait until Thursday, generally. Definitely. But that's not how Big Brother works.
[00:19:47] Devin's is gonna, is gonna talk to Haley, saying that, trying to like, essentially, if, you know, if Kamu goes, hopefully he's able to pull in Haley is kind of the idea. He says he sided with Haley in the confrontation with Lala, and that he would not put her up if she were to stay in the house this week. And, you know, this is a good idea to try and work on Haley, but Taylor has been putting in way more work again, like just, uh,
[00:20:17] Taylor and Yash are just putting in more work than, than Devin's and D here. And I think this goes back to your earlier point, why I think it's very tricky to keep Haley in the game in particular. Like there are these two sides. Haley's like loyal to no one. Like Haley's not going to nominate the three icons. Like she's definitely not going to nominate Devin's. She's probably not going to nominate Angela, but she's also like has a good relationship with Taylor. She really likes Taylor. So, and you know, the icons are going to be pushing heavy for Taylor to be nominated. Like she said, like I'm looking at people who have not been keeping up with me, have not been keeping contact with me,
[00:20:47] who has been lying to me, who I do not trust. And like both sides have been lying to Haley. Both sides have shown Haley that she should not trust them. So she's just finding individual pockets. And when you're splitting the baby and not like committing on one side, how valuable, valuable are you to either side? Yeah. Yeah. Uh, yeah. That's kind of where she's at here. Um, and it's all, she's also like, again, cause there's some interesting stuff with the vote. Uh, she's also an interesting vote. If she comes off the block,
[00:21:16] considering that she kind of wants Angela to stay and still has a pretty good relationship with her. Um, and with that being said, like if, if Angela wins the BBB, like the icons and Drew and Barrett should be pushing hard for Haley to stay. I full stop. Oh, a hundred percent. And they, and they mostly are right. Like, comma was the, not too much today, but you're right. Yes. Uh, that is their position, but you, but your point, they're not pushing it. Yes. They're not pushing very hard. Um, so,
[00:21:46] uh, melody ends up joining Mallory in the HOH room with Yash and he gives melody the same spiel. He gave, uh, Mallory, but they get interrupted by Barrett who comes in and then Yash just spends more time campaigning to all three of them. Uh, and all three of them continue to push back and go in the same circles. Uh, but again, Yash just not letting it go. And to some degree, this is exposing, right? Like, uh,
[00:22:15] they come away from this conversation, like, Oh, so they're really working together. And that's what they should come away from that conversation with. Right. Like, yeah, man, even if we wanted to keep Kamu, the fact that Yash is pushing so hard tells us Yash is never getting rid of Kamu, right? Like, uh, like, and the two of them together are really, really dangerous. Um, however, uh, that's mostly in Barrett's mind. It doesn't seem to have like been too, uh,
[00:22:45] incriminating for Mallory and for melody. She's completely focused in a different direction. We'll get there soon. Um, in the meantime, uh, we have a few things. Devins talks to Drew about the Bermuda triangle alliance. Uh, um, because Drew's basically telling Devins that, that Kamu was like about to tell him about red corner, at which point Devins realizes, okay, let me get ahead of this. I also had a conversation.
[00:23:14] I also had an alliance with Kamu and Yash and one with Taylor and Kamu and Yash. Uh, uh, and he tells about the Bermuda triangle name, but not about the primaries name. Um, there's then, um, there's a hot dog situation. AJ. Who bit Rick Devins hot dog? Who bits the hot dog? There's a hot dog that there's two hot dogs that Devins had two hot dogs. Um,
[00:23:44] and, uh, and up in the HOH room, the cameras are on the hot dogs. They've just been left there. Uh, and you can't just leave a hot dog there and expect it to not be nibbled on. So one of Barrett, Melody, Yash, or Drew went down and nibbled on the hot dog. Oh,
[00:24:12] how dare you pause the rudeness of nibbling on another man's hot dog. I like you have to ask permission first. Uh, and I say nibbled, but, uh, but Devin says it was a big bite, but he, there's no, no bun was part of the bite. It was pure, pure, pure, pure end of the, like that little bit that sticks out of the bun. Just that bit. That tip of the hot dog, you know? Cause if, if you, if you bite into bun, that's really like, that's ridiculous.
[00:24:42] What are we doing? I love how Taryn draws the line at bun, but not a hot dog. I love that for you. I draw the line. I just feel like, I feel like you can nibble the end all you want, but if you, if you bite into the bun, that's, that's too much. That's too far. Like, I'll give you this. Like you could take like a butter knife and cut off the, that rest of them in part is still enjoy your hot dog. Once you bite into the bun, the whole hot dog is solid. Somebody in the chat said it was, I, I,
[00:25:11] I listened, this part I actually saw. I thought he didn't bite the bun. I mean, I thought they didn't bite the bun. Like here's the thing. The, the, the, the zoom in on the hot dog, it wasn't clear to me personally. Like all I know is that someone bit it. And I'll have to go back. I'll have to go. We have to, we have to solve this mystery of the hot dog. I have to know. I have to know how far this went. While you do that,
[00:25:40] why are you leaving your hot dog out? You're just leaving it out for anyone to come and nibble on it. Anyone to take a bite. Ridiculous. It's cold. Yes. Nobody wants a cold hot dog. It's useless at that point. Yes. So, they decide that, that they are going to present Devin's with an option.
[00:26:07] He can guess which one of Barrett, Drew, Yash or Melody. Bit his hot dog. And if he gets it right, they will admit to it. But if he gets it wrong, he will never know. Oh, that's so hard, Taryn. Like, I want to know who is the culprit of this heinous crime. Like,
[00:26:35] but you're telling me I only get a one in four chance of figuring out who did it. Like, that's not okay. And now here's the thing. I, I really, I was kind of hoping that you, you wouldn't know. I was kind of hoping that you'd come in and be like, oh, I missed this hot dog thing. So I can make you guess. And then if you got it wrong, I wouldn't tell the audience who bit the hot dog. But unfortunately, AJ clearly knows. Okay. Hold on. I've found the hot dog.
[00:27:06] Doing some forensic analysis. Zoom in. You know what? Zoom in. I stand corrected. The bun's gone. There's some, there's some bun that's been bit. Throw it all away. Throw it all away. No. No. That's just absurd. Oh my goodness. Can I also mention that like, not only were the hot dogs left out and they look real sad.
[00:27:35] It's this just a hot dog in bun. And they look, those dogs look wrinkled and dry. And there's a smattering of Mac and cheese on the plate. That's also just been like, it doesn't look good. It doesn't. It's just been sitting there. All right. So here's the deal, AJ. Yes. I'm thinking of a number between one and four. Ooh. If you guess the number correctly,
[00:28:04] I will tell the audience who bit the hot dog. If you get it wrong, they will never know. So, so here's the thing audience. Um, this is not a crisis right situation where I asked for your opinion. Um, I, I genuinely think, I feel like you're, you know what? There's been a lot of talking about the number four last night. So I'm feeling like four could be a good number to pick. So let's go with four. You actually nailed it.
[00:28:34] Baby! Baby! It kind of ruins the bit, but you totally nailed it. I can't, I can't pretend you didn't. Uh, I'm ruining the phone y'all. I'm too good at this. I'm too good. Well, I will tell you the audience because AJ is good at this, that Barrett is the culprit here, but Devin's,
[00:29:01] he did not correctly guess the culprit. Uh, Devin's guessed that Yash was the culprit. Um, and so as soon as he guessed Yash, the four of them ran away up into the HOH room chanting. He will never know. He will never know. He will never know. It was so silly. It was so goofy. I really didn't think you, I was going to do three. And then I was like, nah,
[00:29:31] middle numbers are too obvious. Um, see the reason why I did four, because in the line, Barrett was first and Yash was four. So I was like, let me be as close to the Reven as possible. With number four. There you go. With that being, I think underrated moments, like Haley's clearly just getting out the shower and they're doing this whole thing. And she's just in the background like, what's happening? What is going on? She's like trying to like walk around them as they stand there. And they, they're chanting this by the way,
[00:30:01] like one of us, but then they, they came down and they made him another hot dog. Um, that's so sweet. The bell's funny. Um, all right. So, uh, that was some fun through the day. Haley does, um, talk to Barrett. And, uh, and warns him because this is the truth. She warns him that Kamu is going to nominate him alongside D and Devens. Uh, and this is not great information for Barrett to know,
[00:30:30] especially because I think that it already kind of like, you know, Kamu being against the icons is great and all. Uh, but like, let's say there's, you know, if Angela leaves, there's only two icons. He needs to nominate a third person, maybe a fourth person. And it's like, yeah, Barrett is already there. How far does it get? And that's kind of Mallory's point. Like,
[00:31:00] who does he really target once the icons are gone? Um, and so that's, uh, good to know. Like, it's also, it's also like, if, if I was Barrett, I'll put two and two together. Of course I'll be messed up considering like the icons are together. They're courting Mallory and Melody right now. And Drew, as much as he does not believe in it, he will actively bro down with Yasha Kamu, which leads Barrett who will not do that thing. So like Barrett, you're nesting the line. I'm sorry, my guy. Yeah.
[00:31:29] Mallory does tell Angela after that whole thing with, with Yash. Now she's telling Angela who's on the block, but it does feel like she's still very much on board to take out Kamu, despite all of the pushback from Yash. She tells Angela, there are no circumstances under which she will change her vote. If Kamu makes it to final eight, he beats her every time. She fully recognizes this and she will not keep Kamu in the game. Um, however,
[00:31:57] that does not mean that she's feeling great about Mosh Pit. Uh, no, we already knew this, that this Alliance is not really real, uh, for almost anybody involved. Uh, I think it's, it's real for like Drew and Barrett at best. Um, but even then it's like, Drew doesn't plan to go fully to final seven. Uh, maybe Barrett does, um, according to what he's saying,
[00:32:26] but I don't think anybody else in this Alliance feels like they're going to the end with this Alliance, but Mallory and melody and Mallory in particular has been very from the start from before the Alliance, even fully solidified was like, this is great for now for like short, short term. Great to get Kamu out, but then Taylor, Lala, maybe Yash, not a bad option. Yeah. Well, 100%.
[00:32:53] And I think that's fair based on looking at the way the Alliance was composed. Like not everyone trusts this is separate. Um, especially cause like D Devin's would more Devin's now, less so D has been shown distrust in drew. Like, are you literally telling me like Lala's on the block and you're like, you know, the most pressing issue we have right now is Lala. Like that, that's, that's really an issue. Angela has relationships outside the seven. So that's, that was not really good for anyone except for Barrett.
[00:33:21] And I would like to take my point of privilege real quick and complain about Barrett. I feel like this is a Barrett wants this because these are the only people he talks game with. He, he, he does not talk game with anyone else in his house. And I need Barrett to become more active and talk to other people. You don't have to lock stuff in, but like try with other folks, please Barrett. Yes. Yes. Uh, and, uh, he talks with Mallory about this. Mallory tells him, she confides him a bit. Like she doesn't really trust Evans and the icons,
[00:33:51] um, that she kind of sees through the move to solidify an alliance with them right before this big move was made. Um, and, uh, and, you know, yeah, that, because the reason it solidified so late is because. Devins was planning to work with Kamu and Yash until he was forced to use the diamond power of Vito, at which point he was forced to make an alliance somewhere else because he was going to make this move. Um,
[00:34:19] she asks Barrett as sort of like a way of determining like, how are you feeling about next week? Who would you dominate if you want? And he says, Taylor, Lala, Haley, Yash, essentially the four people not in the alliance. Um, and she's like, is that the best move? Like, uh, she says, I think once Yash, Kamu, and Haley are gone, Devins will come after her. And she is a thousand percent correct. Uh, oh,
[00:34:48] I mean, to be fair, actually, it might, it might actually be Drew. That's right. But it should be her, to be fair. Um, and he's like, you think that they'd target you before Taylor and Lala? She's like, yeah. Um, she says, I don't think staying loyal to this alliance is a good idea for like, I think two weeks max, uh, is like the, uh, the half-life of this alliance. Um, and Barrett disagrees. He thinks that they,
[00:35:18] that they, the icons trust them and that they can go down to the end with the icons. The icons are not great at competitions. Um, and, uh, and, and this is a good idea that they should be with them. Here's the truth. Um, and I think Mallory can low-key see it. Like, the icons don't trust Mallory and Melody. They need Mallory and Melody. Like, especially because they've already gone to Warwick Kamu. Um, they see the threat that Yash is. And, um, half of the icons actively hates Taylor and Lala, hate their assistance.
[00:35:47] So it's like the only other options they have left in this house is Melody and Mallory. And even then, they all view Mallory as a threat, both a social threat and a competition threat. So they're not going to let Mallory get too deep into this game, especially with her allies beside her. And listen, at the very least, I think Barrett needs to be like, like you need to sort of be like, oh, I hear what you're saying. Like, uh, like, yeah, I agree.
[00:36:14] Let's make sure we keep an eye on them and reevaluate moving forward. Um, you know, I think, uh, it's a little hit both him and true, I think have been a bit too transparent in how good they view this alliance and like the position that they're in, especially considering that Angela leaked that they'd already been working together in their, uh, formation conversation. Um, it's not that hard. Like Barrett could just be like, I agree with you, but we don't need to be the ones to take the shots.
[00:36:43] It's naturally Lios or Taylor or Lala will ultimately win HOH and they'll take the shot for us. They're not targeting. Right. Or just like, you know, Hey, if I win HOH, you're right. Maybe I'll consider something else. If you win HOH, let's have a conversation about it. And then if, if push comes to shove, that's when you push, that's when you shove. Um, but, uh, you know, I don't think you should like fully agree with her and be like, yes, let's target the icons. Um, but, uh,
[00:37:13] make sure she feels heard, uh, and not like she's being persuaded. Um, uh, which is funny because he's like, maybe you're trying to missed me into turning against Devin. And she's like, what does that mean? It's like, it's like a reference. Um, speaking of references, he talks about the big brother community. Uh, he gets talking about this. There's a guy who does like the,
[00:37:41] he does like live feed updates every day on YouTube. And like a bunch of people watch. And it'll be like, he has like a, like a co-host on it every day. So what does he do? Just watch the whole live feeds and give the highlights. He's walking like, he's probably, I'm sure we're on the, we may be on the feeds right now. And he's just watching us. How can you be watching everyone 24 hours a day? Sorry. Not yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. How does he watch? Sometimes he doesn't.
[00:38:11] And then, um, his name's Taryn. He seems really cool. Taryn. Cool name. Cool name. Uh, one more, but it'll be literally be like, uh, it'll literally be like a podcast and home be like, all right. So Barrett's in the gym with Mallory and they start going over their future. Mallory seems to really not trust Devin. And then someone will chime in and be like, yeah. Yeah. Honestly, Mallory,
[00:38:40] good play from her. Good for seeing that shit. pretty close. Not wrong. Pretty close. Not in grit. He says it'll be like an hour. Uh, I don't know. We might, uh, kind of might be, who knows. Maybe. We'll see if he gets it right. You know what? He might not be wrong. Um, you know, listen, if Barrett wants to help do my job for me, if you want to just put in some more of those, Barrett,
[00:39:09] I'll just clip it and play the podcast. I'll just, I'll just play some Barrett clips. Listen, that's funny. Might be, I don't know if I like, uh, I don't know if it would capture the full breadth of what we need to, but, uh, you know, getting Barrett by us. And there was a lot of stuff today that did not involve Barrett. You know, it's just the icons are just killing it again. Like, like,
[00:39:38] like bearish update, like half of it would be about the rock ceremony last night, but we haven't got there. Uh, they talked about my weird flirt with, uh, with Mallory. I wasn't, when he said they talked about their future, it's, uh, it's not really what I would say. Cause when I, if I said that they talked about their future, I would, in my mind, it's like their future together. Like, I don't know. That's just what I would, you know, you know, you know, Taron is the man that loves love. Just like Julie.
[00:40:08] That's true. Ooh. Not that. Um, all right. So Mallory talks to melody and they talk about their conversation with Yash. Uh, melody has been definitely sort of like, uh, here's what I'm going to, to describe the, this is the, the, the image that I had in my head, um, influenced though.
[00:40:37] It was by, uh, the day that I had, um, this is how I envisioned it. Yash yesterday. Uh, uh, he took, um, one of those like hand mixers and blenders. Oh yes. And he went, uh, into melody's mind and just went, just blended it up. Uh, and melody after, toward the end of the night was like, what the fuck?
[00:41:08] I'm so annoyed mom. Ah, what is happening? I don't trust a single soul in here. Do I trust Yash? What? What's happening? Do I, what? What's happening? Uh, we're not there yet. We're not there yet. Like I would say, um, I think the biggest seed that Yash planted today, at least that helped go down this train as melody is the exposure of the summit and being like, because, uh, D try to get Maori and melody on the block.
[00:41:37] And D also try to get drawn to block. She did not try to get there on the block. Also bear try to help D in the, you know, competition. So like all signs supposed to bear it, being the person who leaked it and all in honesty, half of them leaked it. what that being said, like there was like a lot of suspect suspicion on Barrett at that time, Maori, melody, and Yash were all talking about it. And that's when Barrett entered. So it all stopped at that point in time. But like melody, like, cause that was the point that melody harped on. Like Yash kept me like, yeah, but the bribe, uh, yeah, but this other stuff. She was like, okay, but about this summit thing. Yes. And,
[00:42:06] and this, this is like, uh, the piece that kind of, um, presses on the sore spot that was already there, which is, uh, that we talked about this, that when the Bosch bit came together, Angela basically exposed that they'd been working with Drew and Barrett already since like day two, uh, or, or day one. I don't remember. Uh, and, um, and Drew afterwards, like we hadn't told them. And D was like, Angela, why'd you do that?
[00:42:36] And it was like, they told them already. And it's like, Angela's paranoia once again, like, no, they hadn't. And, um, and it's really, it's really been sticking in melody's mind that like, Drew never told me that they were working together. Never once told me. Uh, and if they, they had been working together and now we're brought in, what does that say? That says we're on the bottom.
[00:43:03] That says the icons are going to pick Drew and Barrett over us every time. Um, that's not good. Uh, and so they don't want anything to do with mosh pit at all. Not, not even like, let's, let's at least in melody, like, let's like wait a week or two. Uh, it's like, okay, let's get out Kamu now. And then immediately turn on them. Like we can't, uh, we can't risk them joining up with Drew and Barrett or Drew and Barrett,
[00:43:32] uh, like flipping on us to go to them. Uh, we need to strike next week. Kamu is still far too dangerous to leave in the game. Uh, we can, that side a little bit. Yes. But then I think we need to flip. Yes. And they do need to flip. And I think the big thing is like, they, they're, they're wary of Barrett and Drew. They're not turning on those two. It's just the icons. They're iffy. They're like, we cannot be loyal to the icon. We prefer Taylor and Yash over the icons over. Yeah. Taylor and Yash over the icons.
[00:44:02] So if we can get them out next week, like all power to us. Like, like, and you see, I like Mallory melody. They was like, we need to drop pins. And they just keep dropping hits throughout the rest of the day. We're like, don't, don't be glued to this Alliance Barrett. Do not be glued to this Alliance Barrett. Cause I have different feelings. Yes. Um, Taylor joins them, talks about keeping Kamu again. Uh, Taylor does a little bit of camp, but not as much as Yash, but does some campaigning herself. She says, I,
[00:44:31] I will admit I'm biased because I like Kamu. And Mallory says, I'm biased in the other direction. Love Mallory. I love Mallory so much. Whoops. Um, Mallory says, listen, I could trust Kamu without Haley and I could trust Haley without Kamu. One of them's gotta go. Uh, which yeah, that's, uh, and listen, this is to be clear. This, I fully,
[00:44:58] I think Mallory is completely correct here. Um, there are two sides and one side is, I keep saying this. It's Kamu, Taylor, Yash as a trio that had, that is very insulated because, uh, uh, Yash is really loyal to, uh, to Taylor and to Kamu. And they, Yash is the final two with Kamu and Kamu is really loyal to Yash, but also still really close to Taylor. Um, they have Lala who's with Taylor, although we'll talk about that. Uh,
[00:45:28] and then, um, and, and they're, they're also like, they still have connections to Haley. uh, how strong are they? We are not sure. They're not, especially now that they're on the block against, or Kamu's on the block against Haley, it's less so, but, uh, and then, um, and they're like, at the very least, two of the best competitors in the house, Yash and Kamu. Uh, and Kamu has never had a great relationship with Mallory or, uh, Maladie. Um, then on the other side of things,
[00:45:57] you have the icons, but with, against the icons, you theoretically have Barrett and Drew. Drew, we know is siding with Fap over the icons. He's told us in the, uh, to the cameras. Um, but they have a legitimate fear that that might not be the case. Hadn't been the case until recently. Yeah. so, uh, so they're a little bit wary of, but at the end of the day, it's like, it's still a more tenable position to remove Kamu.
[00:46:28] Join, uh, Yash, Taylor, and, uh, and, and Lala. Um, and if one of you wins HOH, target the icons. And guess who jumps ship? Barrett and Drew. Thousand percent. Now you've got a side where you do have Barrett and Drew, and you're in the middle between Barrett and Drew, and Yash and Taylor. Uh, and Lala. And things are looking great. Um, if the icons win, they target Yash,
[00:46:57] maybe Taylor, whoever. Um, okay. You still have a, you still have fine to go after the icons. Drew and Barrett are not turning on you. No. Anytime soon. That's like, end game, end game worries. So like, yes, Mallory's plan here, I think is, is very solid. Um, the, the, the, the pitch to be like, we need Kamu to take out the vets. It's like, you'd really don't, you,
[00:47:25] you kind of need the vets to take out Kamu. Um, you know what I mean? Like, because the second you like, let's say Kamu stays, you side with them. You take out, you know, Angela leaves Kamu stays. You take out one of D or Devin's next week. Like now what? Now it's you plus Drew and Barrett against Kamu, Yash and Taylor. And like, I don't love those odds. And I don't even know if, you know, like it's just,
[00:47:55] it's a lot trickier. It's a lot trickier. So, um, that's my analysis of it. At least, uh, we'll talk about how melody's feeling about it. Once we get to her cam talk again, very soon. Avatar Fire and Ash now streaming on Disney plus rated PG 13. But before we even get there, we have to talk about Lala. Oh gosh. There was a bit of stuff going on with Lala last night.
[00:49:20] So I'm going to try to give you like the rundown and exactly what happened first, and then talk about how people were talking through it. Oh, also Drew told Kamu, Devin's and Yasha about Rome's real name, Jack, by the way, they now know about Jack. It's such a current information on day 43. Sorry. So, uh, this sequence starts. It's, uh, with Taylor talking to Lala, telling Lala about talking to Lala about D and how she's a grimy player. Uh,
[00:49:50] she's like, uh, she's always, she, Taylor found out that D was talking smack about her and was also avoiding talking to her at all. Just when people do wrong, they avoid you. That's D. Um, and so Lala who likes Angela and wants Angela to stay. Yep. Angela comes out of the bathroom and Lala feels like, let me talk to Angela in front of Taylor about D so that Taylor knows that
[00:50:19] Angela is not with D in the way that everyone thinks she might be. Uh, and then I can bring this information to Yash to explain to Yash that Angela is actually not with D and that we can keep Angela. Right? Like that's kind of like, that's, I think how Lala tries to explain it later. That is her ultimate goal here. She likes Angela. She has a good relationship with her and she wants to use this conversation to help Angela. Um,
[00:50:45] and which I think is good for Lala because I think of the three people on the block and Lala's mind, she is closest to Angela and Lala's mind. Like Angela is the best person to stay. So, and she knows her closest allies in Yash and Taylor actively want Angela gone. So in her mind, how do I, um, get my closest allies off someone else I'm close to? Yes. So when Angela comes out of the bathroom, Lala's like, Angela, can I ask you a question? Yeah. Are you working with D? And it's like,
[00:51:16] okay. It is maybe a little more blunt, uh, than you would expect. Um, Angela's like, well, of course I've worked with the, we're like, we're not like that close until like Lala, that's not a question you ask people. Uh, and, and Lala's like, I'm just asking questions. Um, and, uh, she's like, like, so if you had to vote between Devin's and D, or maybe like, if you had to vote being Devin's and Yash, who would you vote out?
[00:51:46] Uh, and Angela's like, listen, like, what, what are you trying to ask? Like, I, like, how close are you with Kamu? Like, do you want Kamu to stay? Is that what's that? Um, and Lala just keeps asking about Devin's and she says, like Angela, like you're on the block. I'm trying to get information to help you. Um, and, uh, and it's just kind of like an awkward interaction. Um, and when Angela leaves after being, you know, quote unquote interrogated, uh,
[00:52:16] Taylor comes in. She's like, you can't interrogate people like that. Lala, uh, Lala says, I wasn't. She's like, I'm just, I'm trying to get answers for you, Taylor. Taylor's like, no, don't do that in front of me. That's not something you do in front of me. Lala's like, but I think Angela should stay. I want Yash to know that she's not working with D. Uh, and Taylor's like, come here. And they, they kind of go into the corner of the bathroom. And, uh,
[00:52:44] and Taylor's like about to like lay into her a little more. And then they just both burst out laughing. She goes, I can't with you. Tara, she put her hands on her hip. What was she supposed to do? Not laugh. Like, it's so silly putting your hands on your hip. Who does such a thing? Um, this was cute. I thought this was cute. I also thought it was cute.
[00:53:14] Now I learned Taylor did not think this was cute. Yeah. Then later it was like, Oh, maybe, maybe this was more cute on Lala's end. Unfortunately. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, um, so, uh, so what happens here is that, so this happens and, um, and Taylor, uh, goes and she immediately starts complaining to Haley. Um, she's telling Haley about the interaction. She says, uh,
[00:53:42] that Lala did all this and Angela got upset and, uh, and Lala doesn't listen. She's like, it's like having a child. Um, and, uh, and then she goes upstairs and she talks to Yash and melody and complains about Lala. Uh, and she's like, she tells him what Lala just did. Um, and Yash is like, Oh my God, I hate, I hate talking to Lala. Anything that needs to be communicated to her needs to go through you, Taylor. Uh, and then like Lala joins them later, uh, when it's Taylor and Yash. Um,
[00:54:13] and, and Haley had come in to be like, yeah, I heard Angela was upset. Like, uh, I think Angela's crying. Um, because Angela's having some conversations with some other people we'll talk about in just a second. Uh, and, uh, then Lala ends up joining them after Haley's gone. And, uh, and Yash and Taylor, Taylor's like, you're on thin ice. Lala. Uh, and, and Yash is like, yeah, people are like really annoyed with you. Okay. Like you are the reason the vote almost flipped. Cause you were so mean to Haley.
[00:54:43] Uh, and I was like, what the, like, what do you mean me being mean to Haley? Cause I flipped a fan. Like she spent three weeks being passive aggressive to me. Uh, and Yash is like, no, just listen. You just need to not talk to anyone. Okay. Just, just don't, just don't talk. And Lala's like, fine. I just won't talk to anyone. There's like, well, just no game conversation. Of course you can talk to people. There's no game conversation. Just don't talk game to anyone. Uh, and she's like,
[00:55:13] okay. Okay. Okay. Um, I want to talk about this. I would like you to talk about Angela's reaction first, and then I'll give you my opinion. Oh, I was, well, I was going to do Lala first and then Angela, but we can talk about Angela as well. Yes. I guess. Cause I think Angela's reaction is what really lost in my opinion about this entire situation. So Angela is, uh, well, so Angela has sort of two, uh, modes here.
[00:55:41] One is that she was upset about the interaction with Lala. Um, and she talks to a few different people about it. Um, and, uh, and I think the most interesting one is when she's talking to Drew, uh, and he goes into, cause I just think this is the funniest relationship that like Angela hated Drew for so long. And Drew has always loved Angela. And so he goes on to tell her about how like his mom told him to be worried about and, and Angela type.
[00:56:10] And then he came in and then turned out Angela was amazing. He loves her. Uh, and he's always trusted her like fully. Um, it was like, um, Angela also talks to, uh, I mean, she eventually talks again to Lala. She talks to Haley, um, and tries to like diffuse the situation afterward. Um, but, uh, I'll give you my two cents. Yes. So here's the thing. After the situation happens, Angela does go cry. She,
[00:56:39] she cries to D she cries to Barrett. Um, she tries to drew and Lala says, um, I was in the bathroom. I got cornered and I got interrogated. Um, and, and D and drew. And it was like, yeah, Angela says that. Angela says that. And D and drew and them was like, Oh no, that shouldn't have happened to you. S Y and Z. Angela's crying her tears. Taylor is mad because she says, and she says straight up to them, because I was in the bathroom with you. They're going to assume that we both were doing this. And they're going to put the blame on me.
[00:57:09] And what did he do? The first, when Angela's crying, D was like, Oh, what's this Taylor? This was Taylor's doing drew comes in. He was like, this was Taylor's doing. So like Taylor is right about the situation. Like, because they viewed it as a duo. A thousand percent. Yeah. Like when Taylor said, don't do that in front of me. Like, I think that is a correct read. Like, uh, you know, the, the fact that the conversation is, is, is being prompted when Taylor is there. Uh, even, even if you take out the fact that Taylor would get blamed for it, just like, um, it's just,
[00:57:39] it's like, it's one of those things where it's like, this is a private conversation. And if you're doing in front of Taylor and it heavily implies, and Taylor's trying to distance herself, uh, so that they, you know, they're not seen as a duo. Like she, like he even says, Angela, don't answer a lot of those questions. She even says that one more time, Angela, you can just walk up and leave. Like you don't have to answer that question. Like Taylor in the moment is trying everything she can do to, to separate herself from the situation. Um, so I understand like why Taylor is frustrated. I understand, understand why Lala is frustrated. Also, like you said,
[00:58:08] this was not enough for a grown woman like Angela to start breaking down and crying. Like this interaction was not enough. Like, but Angela still breaks down and cry. And here, here's what I really wanted to hone down in is when Taylor and, and Taylor and Yash was talking to Lala. Lala was going in and she was saying, like you said, they've been rude. She's been rude to me for weeks. She's been passive aggressive towards me for weeks. Why can't I not be straightforward?
[00:58:38] This is a double standard. And yes, the answer is yes, this is a goddamn double standard. It is not fair. Lala. Let me tell you something. The big brother house is not fair. Um, life is not fair. America is not fair. You're a grown black woman. You know, this, you know, you cannot move the same way other people move. You are a black woman. These people are going to take everything you do in a microcosm and blow it up. You cannot get away with half of the crap Angela has done. Cause Angela has done way crazier stuff this season. Like Lala,
[00:59:06] just being stern with her has made her cry and say, this is my reason I'm putting you up. This is why I cannot trust you. Like Lala is sus. It's stupid. And she says like, Oh, they're passive aggressive. That's to her face. Terry. That's what they're doing to her face behind her back. They're meaner. There's a lot more microaggressions happening. Some leaning to macroaggressions when it comes to Lala and Taylor. And like this house has not been a great environment for these two people. And yet Lala, you cannot pretend that like things are hunky adory. Like everything's going swell.
[00:59:34] Like they are Angela's using this moment for a reason to not target you. Like they're using this reason as a target Taylor, even though they are already doing this. So no Lala, you cannot act this how you act in normal company. You're in mixed company. You have to be more quiet. You cannot say what you want all the time because this is a house and they are not your friends. They're your enemies. Please everyone's here to win $750,000 and assume you'll be friends afterwards. So do not go in this with emotions. And like I get some people were like,
[01:00:00] I don't like how Yash and Taylor was talking to Lala. They were too harsh. Taylor told Lala this at the beginning of the week. She said, yo, please, people are already upset with you. Please do not give them more reasons to be upset with you. She tried this already. You have to be stern with some people. And you might not always like the tone. Someone says it in, but you have to give it into a way that they will understand. Because listen, at the end of the night, Lala and Taylor are fine. They're in the pause room. They're laughing. They're having a good time. They're chit- But like at that point in time,
[01:00:30] they had to be honest with Lala. And that hurts being like, hey, you can't talk game because people do not like you. Like Darren, that hurts hearing that everyone's annoyed with you. It hurts hearing that like everyone does not like you. It hurts. But it's true. People are using Lala as a scapegoat to explain their actions. They're like, Lala's the problem. And I hate that. This is, I don't want that for Lala, but we have to live in the reality we are, and we have to move differently. That is my two cents. Listen, I think those are,
[01:00:59] those are some great cents. Thank you. Yeah. The contrast that I was hoping to, to, to make here, the difference between how people reacted to Angela, to Angela and the way that they reacted to Lala, I think is extremely telling in terms of the double standard that is being talked about. Now, I will say that,
[01:01:22] that I still don't love some of the comments made by Yash and Kamu about Lala here. Um, in terms of like, because they, because Yash is going to go on to, uh, and Kamu's in the room, he says this too, uh, be like, we told Lala, she says to sit there, talk zero game. I said, Lala, cook, make people happy, share your stories, do not talk game. Um, and it's just like, like, uh, that's just mean. You know what I mean?
[01:01:52] Like, it's not, it's not cool. 100%. It's not, especially like at that point in time, Yash and Kamu are like acting like they're doing all this great stuff. And all this great work for Lala. They really aren't. They like, I genuinely believe Taylor's the only person in this game that actually genuinely cares about Lala. And the fact that Kamu and Yash are like talking down on Lala. Yeah. I didn't like that. That's gross. Lala should be able to play the game. Like the, like, and Taylor can be upset. It's just like Lala is sometimes dragging down Taylor's game, but that does not give Yash the right. And honestly, I'll be above 50 with you. You can call me the woke black guy.
[01:02:22] I don't like people telling a black woman to stay in the kitchen. That's me. That's me personally. Yeah. And, and like, I think, I think the, the major, I mean, this is at least my perspective, the major difference between, uh, what Yash and Kamu were talking about with, with Lala and what Taylor is talking about with Lala is that like, Yash and Kamu don't have that relationship with Lala. The Taylor does. Um, so like, yeah, when Taylor complains about Lala, it, it, it feel mean sometimes. And maybe it is,
[01:02:51] maybe it isn't depending on how they feel about their relationship. But like, Yash and Kamu don't have, like, they jump in in this with the same energy, uh, sometimes more. And it's like, you don't have that relationship with Lala to be like that, to be saying these things. Um, and, and I think they even sometimes recognize that, which is why they're like, oh, well we need Taylor to do it for us. Um, but it's like, you know, what are we, what are we doing here? But yes, I think even more, uh, important is to talk about this,
[01:03:21] this contrast between, um, Angela and, uh, and Lala, um, and, and the differences between how, people are receiving this stuff. And Angela goes and cries. It's like, oh, poor Angela. Um, and, uh, and with Lala, it's like, oh, what is Lala doing? Uh, she, she whipped a fan out. Uh, like she almost caused a whole situation. How dare she? What are we doing here? Yeah.
[01:03:54] It's like, it's just, yeah. Uh, can you vamp for a second? I need to close my window. Yeah, it's 100%. And, and like Lala, this is hard for Lala. So Lala goes down upstairs and she is crying and Angela sees her. She's like, oh, what's wrong, Lala? Oh, everything's okay. Why are you so sad? And I'm like, Angela, you started this whole thing. I find it so funny that you're comforting her. Yes. Uh, 100%. And, um, and, and I also just want to, uh,
[01:04:25] while we're, while we're at this, like you mentioned that there have been like microaggressions with Taylor and Lala, um, that like this is like, this is, we've talked about it already, right? We've talked about like the comparisons and, uh, and some of the stuff said about Lala, uh, like it definitely has impacted like their social standing in the game, um, and the ways that people, uh, talk about them. Um, and, you know,
[01:04:54] obviously this is something that is, very common in the big brother house. Um, but you know, it, it, it is impactful to strategy as well. It, it impacts the kinds of relationships that people have and the ways that people respond to things, uh, and so on and so forth. So, yeah. Um, important points to me. And I'll say that cause I think, I think here are our JP. I think we have been open that like Taylor's a good strategic mind. She, she has a mind for this game. She's not always doing great things. Like we can call it a spade.
[01:05:24] Like we'll call her out when she's making mistakes. Um, but with that being said, like it's clear, she does not get the respect that like someone that's half as strategic as her get in this house. Like, and people like do not like value what Taylor says and her thing. She gets the fear without the, yeah, like, uh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's completely right. I think that's completely right. Um, so, uh, we are here. Um, so, so this is, so this is the thing.
[01:05:53] This is what I will say about Taylor. Yes. She's then talking to, to Yash about like, I don't want Lala and Jerry anymore. Now what are we doing? Taylor, come on. Cause she even tells the cameras this later. She's like, I'm going to, I might have to get Taylor out soon. She, Taylor tells the camera. She says, Lala is my Jared. I might need to send her home soon. I'm like, Taylor. No, come on now.
[01:06:23] First of all, she's nowhere close to Jared. Second, come on. You're not really going to send her pre like what you're going to send her home. Like what? Next week. Like, uh, you don't have many, you know, there's like two evictions left before jury. Oh my goodness. She's nowhere near as bad as Jared was like Lala had a converse. Like they have significantly like, yeah, Lala makes mistakes,
[01:06:53] but they have significantly inflated how bad Lala is at this, at this stuff. Like, like, like Lala, like makes a slip of the lips and people are annoyed with Lala. Jared would actively go to work to hurt him, his mom and his closest ally game. And like, then get into a fight with his other ally. Like Lala and Jared are not. Right. And I mean, that kind of goes back to the point we're making where like every little thing Lala does wrong is like this big, massive thing.
[01:07:23] so, uh, anyway, um, Drew and melody, uh, end up talking about working with the icons. Drew is talking about how he thinks it's a really good idea. It's a similar conversation to the one Mallory had with Barrett, except melody's pushing less. And Drew is kind of like still being like, yeah, icons are good. Um, we know that Drew now really, you know, prefers FAP over the icons, but he's not doing a great job of communicating that.
[01:07:51] And as things often happen with Drew, by the way, D who was suspicious about Drew and, and, and the whole mosh pit situation, she's coming around. Um, so, uh, you know, last season we talked about how, uh, uh, if Keanu thought a thing would happen, the opposite would happen. Right? Like it was a pretty, it was one of the most consistent things about big brother 27. Um, I think one of the most consistent things about big brother 28 is that if
[01:08:21] Drew is loyal to someone, they're not going to trust him. And if he's not loyal to them, they are going to trust him. Cause literally the moment. Then they flipped around. He's trying to play the bros. And they're like, Oh, we trust Drew now. Like the moment he's like, I'm all in on that. No, he's like, now who's this kid? Right. Um,
[01:08:51] so funny. Mallory is going to make a birthday card for Angela. Um, it though. It, it does. It does look like a note from a serial killer. That is what that is. Are there, are those the options available to them? Listen, Angela appreciated it. She did. Yes. Uh, and, um, and yes, I think we've already talked a little bit about this, but like Lala and Angela talk about, uh, Haley,
[01:09:20] like kind of blaming Haley for blowing up the conversation to be more than it was. And just like, I wasn't even that upset. Um, and, uh, she says, I'm not upset with you, Lala. Uh, and Angela also talks to Haley to be like, to, to kind of diffuse things with her. Um, and, um, and so, uh, so the, the ultimate conclusion of this is that like both Haley and Lala still kind of want Angela to stay. Um,
[01:09:49] because Angela ultimately is like the person who, uh, manages to sort of like play both of Lala and Haley off of each other in this spot. Um, Yash though, continues to work on melody, uh, across the night. Um, just talking with her up in the gym after talking about how Lala should just cook, uh, and stuff. Um, and, um, and just does a really good job. I mean, uh, I mean, at the end of the day, you know,
[01:10:19] a good job is determined by how successful it is. Um, and it's, it's a very long, uh, process. It's a very long, a series of conversations, but, uh, but he takes that blender and he just mushes up, uh, melody's brain here. Uh, he says things like maybe they, maybe you and Mallory got the powers because drew and Barrett are so sketchy. Uh, and they're trying to like tell you something. They're trying to warn you, um,
[01:10:49] which doesn't really make sense, but it seems to like melody is just kind of like, I don't know. Maybe so. Like she's lost. She's all grip on like, not reality, but like, she's lost her grounding. Um, because drew has been like her number one, I think. And so, uh, the idea that, that drew when Angela leaked, the drew was working with them. And then, Oh, drew might've also leaked the summit. And, um, it's really getting pitched to me that like,
[01:11:18] you can't trust drew Barrett. You can't trust drew Barrett. You need to come with us. Um, she's like, she started floating, uh, not in the game sense in like the spiritual sense. She's just like a drift. Um, and she has no grounding. And so she goes up to the gym and she does her cam talks that she does, uh, with the phone, talking to her mom. Um, and she's like, I don't even know who to trust anymore. Like, uh,
[01:11:48] lots of swearing. Um, and, uh, she's like, I, I don't, I don't trust. I don't trust the icons at all. I don't trust Barrett and drew. I don't trust anybody. I don't trust anybody. Um, I definitely, I, I'm not, the, the mosh pit is stupid. I shouldn't have. I, so I messed up, messed up even getting in that alliance in the first place. Uh, I, I should, I just shouldn't have even gotten in it. It's such a good name too. Such a waste of good names.
[01:12:17] That's my favorite line. Such a waste of good names. She's like, I just don't even know. Like, why, why am I trusting Yash more than like drew right now? Um, ah, do we have to keep? Tara, Tara, what happened to melody? What happened? Her brain news. Yash got in there. Oh my goodness.
[01:12:47] How did we get here? We get from the commons leaving a hundred percent of the times to, you know what? I think, I think we got to keep it. I know. I hate the man. I think we got to keep it. Um, I, he, so listen, I'll be clear. I think this is, if you couldn't tell, uh, I'm talking about blenders and brains. I'm the movie brain dead is on my mind. I think it's a brain dead move. Um, I think, but now we toster. Yeah. Yes.
[01:13:17] And we'll talk, uh, about that, but, uh, to try to, to like understand where I think melody is coming from. Um, you know, we've talked about the sides. We've talked about the choice of melody and Mallory have on their hands. Um,
[01:13:32] I think what melody is think was fearing is what happens if essentially the crossovers are like the brigade of the season and her and Mallory are fully on the outside of that. And the second they get rid of Kamu, uh, it's like, we're in trouble. Like, uh, like maybe they're goal. They'll go for one. Maybe we win HOH. We take another shot. We stick with them for one more round. Uh,
[01:14:01] or maybe we don't even have that opportunity. Like the world where Drew and Barrett actively target us before we even get to seven, uh, let alone get to seven with them. And it's five V two. Uh, like I think that's the world that she's fearing. Um, and I think that that is a valid fear to have considering all of the information that she's gotten to this point. However, even if that were true, I don't think her solution of,
[01:14:29] we might need Kamu then is the answer in any way. Uh, and that's where I'm like, that's, that's just, that's what, that's what Ashley likes to call a game losing move in my opinion. Listen, Melody does not like Brittany Haynes and she does not want to have the same fate. Yeah. Doesn't help that Drew talks all the time about how much he loves Brittany Haynes. Um,
[01:14:59] so she talks through this and, and it's not just a passing thought. It's a long camera talk. And by the end of the camera talk, that's almost the conclusion that she's reached is that she might need to keep common. Now, uh, this is where I really want to break down the votes. Okay. Because you might think, well, she can't even if she wanted to, right? Hmm. Not necessarily. If she talks to Mallory and is able to convince Mallory, then it would be Melody,
[01:15:29] Mallory. Yep. Taylor. Yes. Lala and Haley. If Haley came off to evict Angela, uh, they could get five without drew and Barrett through that method. They could completely turn on. And she was talking about doing just that, that drew and Barrett would be on the other side of this vote. Uh, so Melody and Mallory could theoretically flip to save Kamu against Angela and vote Angela out. Now,
[01:15:57] the problem here beyond just convincing Mallory, who is, I think smarter than this. Yes. Uh, is that as, as I've been kind of pointing out all day, Haley and Lala are not locked in right now. They might be able to be if, if Melody and Mallory decide they want to do this, they go to Yash and Kamu and Taylor and they say, we're down, but drew and Barrett won't be, uh, we need to make sure we've locked in Haley and Lala.
[01:16:24] I do think that Taylor and Yash and Kamu would probably be able to pull in Lala for sure. Um, even though she prefers Angela staying, they probably could pull in Haley who might as well join a group of people who want her vote. She's not like she's being campaigned to in another direction. Yeah. She was saying like, keep Angela, but like, you know, it's not, it's not impossible by any means, but, but the point is that there are a lot of steps, uh, along this path,
[01:16:54] including, you know, winning over essentially, including Melody staying on this path, uh, getting Mallory on board, then getting, uh, Lala on board, then getting Haley on board, and then holding that five against four vote strong. It's a pretty tenuous spot to be in. Um, it's also possible that they try then to keep Kamu over Haley, but they actually can't,
[01:17:24] uh, do that without Drew and Barrett because all three icons, uh, Angela coming off the block, it's Kamu versus Haley plus Drew and Barrett make five. There are nine votes, total five votes wins a day. So, uh, Melody and Mallory cannot keep Kamu without Drew and Barrett. If Angela is off the block, they can only do it. If Angela stays on the block and they both decide to do it and they get Lala and Haley. So it's still quite a long shot here. Um, but impressive work by Yash,
[01:17:53] I think really got into Melody's head here. Like, I think it was talked about the beginning of the update, but like he was working all day long. Like he was working, like he gave her like, you get a 30 minute break, but we're about to get back to work. Like he's been working on Melody all day long. And like, I'm proud that he was able to get Melody to where she currently is. I, the problem is this is not solid ground. And I think the minute, any type of force against this, which there will be forced against this, Melody's like back in line.
[01:18:24] Yeah. Uh, also considering this is, this is a bad move for Melody. That's a dumb move. Like you should not be keeping Kamu if your Melody. Yeah. And I mean, the, the funny thing too, is that this is one of those moments, uh, where, you know, Melody's having this camera talk. And then on the other feed is Kamu and Yash, like dapping up, like, bro, I think we did good work today. We're going to crush this game. Uh, like, uh, like the,
[01:18:51] you want to put your game into these people's hands. Really? Really? Melody. You want to put your hands in the person who did not use the power of veto on the woman. He wants to stay this week. Like that's the, you want to put your game in the hands of the man who has nominated you and constantly talks about you getting pregnant. This is the game you want to play. Is this truly who you want to play with Melody? Um, so Yash and Kamu are talking about that.
[01:19:21] They don't trust Drew anymore. Their eyes have been opened to Drew, um, because of like the melody and Mallory of it all. Right. Like, um, Drew is continuing to be like, yo bro, we got the votes, right? We're down. Like drew is completely playing ignorant. Uh, he said he wanted to do this on purpose, uh, while melody and Mallory went, but like, I don't know why he thought he wouldn't get exposed in this process because obviously even if melody and Mallory are saying we're voting out Kamu, Drew has to be on board with that. Uh,
[01:19:49] but Drew's not telling them that he's on board with that. And so they're like, okay, Drew's not with us. Uh, and so they are now, their eyes have been opened to Drew. Uh, he does come up and bro, and they bro up. and I do. Yeah, go ahead. Like Yash and Kamu complaining about you. Like, Oh, Drew's just so untrustful. You know, Drew's a fraud. Drew is a fraud. Drew opens the door. Drew. What's up?
[01:20:19] Yes. Um, and they do, they, they hang out and they tell, they do tell Drew that they don't really trust Barrett. They're worried that Barrett is too close to the vet. So, uh, when I say their eyes are open to Drew, I, I think it's more so that they are concerned. Like, they, initially were, at the start of the week, they were concerned that Barrett was with the vets. Now they think it's confirmed that Barrett is with the vets. They have moved their concern to Drew. They're not sure that he's working with the vets, but they are skeptical,
[01:20:49] because they're having productive conversations with Mallory and Melody, and no conversations really with Drew that feel productive because he's lying to them. Um, and so they're worried that he's, that he's actually secretly with the vets, on top of the fact that he could have been one of the leaks of the summit. It could have been him and Barrett, which is true. Yeah. Um, so Drew then, uh, talks with FAP afterwards. He tells them about his conversation with, uh, Yash and Kamu, um, and how they're bro-ing down. Like,
[01:21:19] those two are tight, uh, like super tight. Um, and this is, I think, a good thing to be telling them because it is very true. Like, they are locked in. Uh, and, um, and he says, Yash is for the boys. Like, you know, really, uh, trying to play as much of this as possible. Um, and he's starting to add, like, because Yash has been pushing back so much, he's like, I don't think you can tell Yash anything without him telling Kamu. I think you're going to have to blindside Yash. Melanie and Mal are like, we're not blindsiding Yash.
[01:21:49] Like, they don't want to cut off that option for themselves. And so, uh, there is still a little bit of tension here, but, you know, Melody's idea of like, we might need to keep Kamu is like nowhere to be found in any of these conversations. Because Mallory, along with Drew and Barrett are all very much like, well, obviously Kamu has to go. Yeah. Yeah. Which I understand. I think, especially Yash pushing like, it's really hard for Kamu. Like, like Yash and Kamu has like, said they were ready to go to the end. Like, that's the worst thing you want is like,
[01:22:19] in some people's mind, the number one and number two competitor getting to stay in the game together and getting to run things down. Like, even if like Yash does trust Mallory and Melody, you, you're not breaking into that, like full stop. But I do love that Mallory is not, particularly Mallory Balsall and Melody is not buying into Drew and Barrett's like blind side. We got a blind side. I love that they're, they're, they're standing their ground, uh, with Drew and Barrett, which I think, had they like folded, that would have been nothing but bad news for, like, like, I think that's what they said at one point in time.
[01:22:48] We don't want to upset Taylor and Lala and Yash by lying to them like for a few days. So I, I do like this from, um, Mallory and Melody, like Mallory in particular is working her way into the center of this house. And I think she's about to plant her flag there and like not about to leave. And I love that for her. Yes. I, I'm loving, I think Mallory is playing this week really well. Um, I think that, uh, that she has exactly the right idea, uh, which is take Kamu or Haley,
[01:23:18] out ideally Kamu and then move forward with the remainder of like Yash, Taylor, Lala. Um, and I think that's a really strong position to be in, especially like just fully win HOH next week and put up the icons. Um, and, uh, and like Drew and Barrett are going to have to follow, you know, like they're not going to, they're not going to die on that Hill. Um, you know, at least you would hope not. Uh,
[01:23:47] and if you force that issue, then like you, Taryn, you say that drew earlier was like, Melody, who you're going to, you're going to nominate Taylor, right? She's like, no. He's like, are you in alliance with Taylor? How many alliances with Taylor? Are you like, dude, you just started digging. So drew will push the issue. Taryn, they'll push the, they'll say, don't do this. But like if they're on the block, like, you know, I, I, um, I, I, I genuinely think that, uh, like the game is well played, uh, by,
[01:24:17] by like sort of forcing the issue for people more so than like doing them favors and hoping they return the favor. Um, like if you force Drew and Barrett to choose between you in power or the vets not in power, they're going to go to you. If the vets are gone and it's, you're like, it's Yash and Taylor, uh, who they don't have as good a relationship with and you have a better one, right? You are in power. You get to set the terms. Um,
[01:24:46] and so force them to follow you. That is the direction that I think Mallory and melody can take in the game. Uh, and, and they seem set to, uh, especially if Kamu leaves because that puts them in a much more powerful position on the other side as well. So interesting stuff. Uh, anything else from the day that you want to bring up, AJ? Oh, I think we hit every point that I had, um, written down, but I think, let me tell you something, Taran, I was worried because it was Tuesday. Uh, I was like, this isn't going to be much,
[01:25:15] but I got a jam-packed day and I'm happy about that. Yeah. Uh, Barrett was wrong. It was more than an hour, hour 20. Sorry, Barrett. Although to be fair, that might've, I might've been part of the reason of that. I'm a little. Yeah. Listen, listen, listen, listen, stay away from those bats, my guy. Stay away from me.
