Big Brother 28 heads into its most tense stretch yet as the house stands at Final 4, with each move rippling through long-standing alliances and rivalries. Host Taran Armstrong is joined by guest AJ for a thorough Recap of Day 77, with game-defining conversations, comp wins, and deal-making all under the microscope.[00:00:10] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH You know he is the reason, you know what's happened Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again
[00:00:39] Hello everyone and good morning, welcome to our live feed update for September 22. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 Live Feeds. It was day 77 in the house and we had an eviction, we had an HOH competition,
[00:01:11] and we had new nominations and plans for who might be evicted at the final four. So we're going to talk about all of that and with me to talk about all of that is AJ. How you doing AJ? I'm doing great, Taren. I'm super excited to get to talk to you about day 77, a very monumental day in Big Brother getting to the final four. We're almost at the endgame, Taren. You're almost done for the season. We are in fact almost there.
[00:01:42] It's been a wild ride this season and the wild ride is going to continue because we have some wild results here. We're going to pretty quickly cycle through the events because there wasn't actually a lot of game being played through all of these game events. There's really maybe like one conversation between Drew and Devins in the morning.
[00:02:08] Of course, Devins was the HOH at the final five with Drew and Melody on the block, but Drew had the veto. He was planning to use the veto, which would put Taylor up in his place. Drew, Devins would put Taylor up in his place. And then the plan was to evict Melody. Drew likely voting to keep Melody. D voting to evict Melody. Devins breaking the tie to evict Melody. So Drew and Devins did have a conversation about Taylor potentially having votes in the end, not wanting to lose to her.
[00:02:37] This has been a pretty common topic of conversation amongst the rest of the house at this point. But that's really all there is before we get to the eviction. Feeds go down for it for a few hours. They come back up and Melody has been evicted. We are now at the final four with D, Devins, Drew and Taylor.
[00:03:07] And like you said, this was not a surprise that Melody was evicted. I wish there was more fight and Melody on her way out. I wish Drew fought more to keep Melody around because I think because the way we've been talking about it the past few days, like D was open to the idea of keeping Melody. I think a Melody and Drew versus D versus Devins final four would have been a very interesting comment, but I'm not upset with the outcome. Ultimately, I'm super excited what will happen tonight. It was weird the way they talked about it because like you said, it was a one-one tie.
[00:03:37] Devins broke it. Apparently, like Melody was still not like 100% convinced that Devins wanted Drew around and was like trying to convince him to like, hey, keep me so I can take out Drew. And I'm like, Melody, we're on a different page of the story. Keep up. That's pretty much the conversation Drew and Devins had about it afterward. Like, ah, can't believe her trying to do that. So yes, the feeds did come back briefly to let us know that Melody was gone.
[00:04:08] And then they went back down for the HOH competition. And when they came back up, we had our final four HOH winner. Now, of course, just to set this up a little bit, Drew and D have been talking about taking each other to the final two, potentially cutting Taylor at the final four. Obviously, Devins has talked about potentially cutting Taylor at the final four, but they're not sure if Devins will actually do that.
[00:04:37] But Taylor is certainly in a lot of danger here at the final four. They've talked a lot about the crossover's final three, but she's also the least likely to win the competition. Until she wins the competition. Taylor won the final four HOH. It was some kind of puzzle. And D and Drew were not able to do particularly well at it.
[00:05:06] D in particular, I think, was pretty bad at it. She's beaten herself up a bit. But Taylor now guaranteed a spot in the final four. And one of D, Devins, or Drew will be evicted. We'll need to evict one another to make it to the final three. Now, I think this is actually very interesting.
[00:05:32] The fact that Taylor won mainly because of, hey, you want to see D, Drew and Devins, like who's going to pick who off? We're going to talk about that more in the podcast. I think this was an interesting HOH for Taylor to win because I low key think this is the worst HOH for Taylor to win. Now, I think an HOH win for Taylor is better than no HOH win for Taylor. Like full stop, comma. But like the moment the feeds came back, everyone was basically like, okay, but the HOH don't really matter. It really just comes down to the veto.
[00:06:01] Like already being like, this could have been like a notch on Taylor's belt like that she won of competition. But like people are already discounting that HOH win. I think if she wants to veto, I think we can see some interesting stuff with who she decides to keep off and who she wants to get evicted. So I think there's still a live final four. And I'm very interested to see how it plays out. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's certainly not a similar a little bit to like a double eviction HOH.
[00:06:28] Like you just don't get as much social cred for winning winning an HOH that is either really quick or is a little toothless. So not great in that sense, but certainly better than nothing, as you mentioned. And it guarantees her this spot in the final three. I do think that she needed at least one, probably like two comp wins in order to at least potentially secure a vote like Yash's.
[00:06:57] Again, Yash in an X interview rated Taylor's game below everyone else at the final four, unfortunately for her. And so if she were to win a couple of competitions, I think that could be what she needed or what she needs to get somebody like Yash's vote. Which is completely essential for her to win the game. I don't think she can win the game without Yash's vote.
[00:07:24] So, you know, and people have different opinions on whether or not Yash would actually vote for her. I think, you know, I've fallen into this trap before of trying to ask jurors like, oh, rank the people. And then you're like, okay, so now we know exactly where they're thinking. But then, you know, then they lie. You know what? They lie. That's something I'm saying they lie to me. They lie to me all the time. No, they just change their minds. They think one way coming out of the house. They get to the jury house. They have some time to think.
[00:07:53] They have people to talk to. They completely can change their minds. And that can completely be the case for Yash whether or not Taylor wins competitions. But we got to talk about something. We've got that piece of information. So we're going to talk about it. Either way, Taylor as the HOH means D, Devins, and Drew will be scrambling to try to figure out exactly who is going to leave. Shortly after the feeds come back when Taylor wins, Devins talks to the cameras. He says, I think this isn't that bad.
[00:08:23] Or sorry, first Drew talks to Devins. And he says, Angela was right all along. She said Taylor had winner energy. And she's like, now after having won this competition, she has an even better shot at winning in the end. And this is sort of in passing. So then Devins afterwards says to the cameras, like, this isn't actually that bad for me. Because I think both D and Drew will cut each other. They'll take me to final three.
[00:08:51] And now they'll both be more scared to take Taylor to final two over me. Because Taylor's won this competition. Now, I think this is a bad read. Because I don't think that D and Drew, especially at this moment, plan to take him to the final two, certainly. But Drew in particular has been talking about taking D to final two. Which, if he's choosing between D and Devins, would mean he is currently planning to cut Devins.
[00:09:19] So this is quite bad for him in that sense. However, I do think it's actually good for him in another sense. If Taylor had still been there, I think that Devins might have felt a little more comfortable like he had been in the three days prior. Oh, they're probably going to evict Taylor or whatever. And I don't have to work too hard.
[00:09:46] Later in the day, he's going to talk about how exhausting it is to have to be constantly on edge. Which is what I said you have to be in the final round. Knowing that he is stuck now between D and Drew, he's forced to work a bit harder. Which is what he needs to be doing if he wants to convince Drew and D to make sure that they keep him here at the final four. So, in some ways, I do think this is actually a good thing.
[00:10:11] It's kind of giving him a little kick in the pants to get moving. And he does. He does start moving. He's going to talk to D and talk to Drew and try to talk both of them into keeping him. Which is what he needs to be doing at this point. No, I agree somewhat. I do think if you're Devins, I do think Taylor winning HOH is the best case scenario for you.
[00:10:37] Based on what you know on your relationships, you would think Taylor's the person that's most likely, if she happens to win the veto, most likely person to cut you at that final four and go to the final three with D and Drew. According to all Devins know, Drew's my son. Why would my son ever vote to evict me? And D, we have a final three. Exactly. And why would D ever vote to evict me, Rick Devins? That's a big question mark. But I think that goes to the fact that you said that Devins really dropped the ball over the past few days,
[00:11:06] letting D and Drew become a lot closer. And put the fear of Devins actually winning this game in Drew's mind. And making it more likely that Drew is more okay with the shot being taken at final four. So I do agree. I do like what Devins was working on today. He was talking to Drew. He was talking to D. Honestly, he was even talking to Taylor about like, oh, I don't even know if I can win. Let's look at the jury votes. Who's really voting for me at the end? Like, even though it's, let's be honest, it's falling on deaf ears.
[00:11:36] It's for not, especially when it comes to Taylor. Less so with Drew. Like, keep working on Drew. You can win Drew back. I believe that full heartedly. But like, I like someone that's going to put in the effort to at least try to stay and try to win, even when it seems improbable. Yeah. Well, it is all going to come down to the veto, of course. However, as I said, Devins does talk to D. They both say they need to win the veto to protect one another.
[00:12:02] They need to make sure that one of them wins the game, which means they can't cut each other at four. And they agree that they're going to pitch to Taylor, that if she gives them the ability to vote Drew out, that they will take her to the final two over the other. So, the idea is going to be D pitches to Taylor. Hey, we need to take Drew out. And once we take Drew out, I'm obviously taking you to final two.
[00:12:29] Drew's, I guess, the idea being Drew is like a bigger comp threat, whatever. But then obviously we can't take Devins to final two. I'll take you to final two. And then Devins will go, hey, we need to take Drew out because Drew's harder to beat in the final three. And then the two of us, I'll take you to final two because I can't take you to final two. Final two.
[00:12:46] And so, giving her the false, quote unquote, false perception, though it is actually reality, that if she takes out Drew, she's guaranteed final two against one of the icons. And again, that is the fake pitch, but it is also actually the real pitch. And in some ways, the conversation about planning the fake pitch is actually the fake pitch to each other.
[00:13:13] And really just giving each other permission to do what they were probably already going to do. And that's the plan. It's so funny because neither D nor Devins one sitting next to the other. And they're just playing this game of chicken to be like, you know, we're going to the end together, right? Yeah, we are definitely going to the end. I am definitely not taking Taylor to the final two. If it's the final three of me, you and Taylor, that is 100% true. So it's a funny, cute game of chicken they're playing.
[00:13:43] Devins, you need to make it to final three first. I think that is number one priority, which we still have veto. He could definitely win veto. And I think it'd be interesting to see like whether D or Devins win veto, because I know they've talked about what they would do if they won the veto. But I don't know if they will actually like pull the trigger on what they're thinking of right now.
[00:14:06] Yes, I think the person we have the most amount of information on about what they will do for sure with the veto is D. We'll get to that conversation. She talks to the cameras about it. That's why. Devins and Drew, both, we can take a guess, but they haven't told the cameras what they plan to do as much. So they could at any point have changed their minds about what they planned to do.
[00:14:35] And we wouldn't necessarily know because they're telling both. They're telling everybody different things. So D and Drew talk about not knowing who Devins will choose if he wins the veto. And she, D mentions that Taylor's noms will be telling in terms of what she's thinking overall, which is interesting.
[00:14:58] There's something interesting happening with D and Taylor that I'm curious about personally, but I'll get there in a moment. But she, she cues this up. Taylor's noms will be telling in terms of what thing I want to know what Taylor wants to do without telling her what to do. Uh, cause I want to know what she's thinking. Um, and she tells Drew that she'll be keeping him over Devins. He says to her that she's his number one now.
[00:15:21] Uh, and, uh, you know, this feels like they are continuing to go along with what they had discussed before, which is that they are taking each other to the end. They can't take Devins to the end. It's just that this Taylor win has pushed up the timeline a little bit. They had planned to take out Taylor and then take out Devins. Now they're going to have to take out Devins first. The problem is, is either of them being honest in this conversation. And at least one of them, I think isn't.
[00:15:50] No, I'm pretty confident. At least one of them isn't. And based on the past actions of another person in the conversation, I don't know if either is being honest with you. Which I think if I'm both D and Drew, you cannot be Devin at the end. Full stop. Y'all both have already recognized this. Like Devin wants if he gets to the end. Y'all let Devin's like, if Devin's on that block final four and y'all don't vote to evict him, he is the favorite.
[00:16:20] Like not a hundred percent chance, but he is the favorite to get to final three of the HOH and win the final HOH. So you don't want to put that in risk. That's why you took out Yash when you did. Cause you don't want an opportunity for him to win out. Just because it's two wins, that's still opportunity to win out. Like you cannot take that chance if you want to win. Like I know D didn't come here to see Devin's wins. Like I know D is like, if I can't win, I'll prefer to be Devin's. And I feel the same thing about Drew. He's like, if I can't win, I would like to be Devin's. But play for yourself to win at this time.
[00:16:50] Like you are too close to the end. You are too close to the 750K. Like you can't like just stop here just because you let little feelings or emotions like get in the way. So here's the, here's the read, right? Like D has talked about cutting Devin's at final three, but feeling like she's not sure she can do it at final four. So we're not sure where she stands yet. She will again talk to the cameras later.
[00:17:17] Drew told Melody just the night before, I think I have to go to the final two with, with D even over Taylor. Theoretically Taylor winning this final four HOH should only make him more skeptical of putting all his eggs in the Taylor basket by going to final three with Taylor and Devin's who he knows he can't beat.
[00:17:36] However, without Melody there to continue to reinforce that he can't beat Devin's and with Devin's now knowing he needs to be working on Drew directly, that's where things might change and shift with Drew. Uh, and specifically drew, I would say is more hesitant to promise D that he's going to keep her this week with the veto. Then he was the night before when he was talking to her about going to final two with her.
[00:18:06] Uh, he says she's his number one. Now he's saying he's, they're going to later kind of like talk about Devin's and how sometimes he's a little scary. Um, but specifically like there's fewer promises being actively made. Now that might just be because he's worried about getting in trouble with D that if Devin's wins the veto, then D is going to be able to say, Hey, Drew is planning to cut you Devin's.
[00:18:30] And so he's trying not to incriminate himself or it could mean that, you know, his mind is shifting a little bit and maybe Devin's working on him is, is changing his mind a little bit. But we can't be sure at this time, uh, because he does, he talks to Devin's and Devin's is like, Hey, this is the way has to be the two of us. Like now we're going to have to cut D and Drew says, yes, one of us has to win the veto to cut D and Devin says, yeah, it's really going to suck to do it.
[00:18:59] Like, I don't want to do it, but I can't do another survivor 38 again. Uh, and Drew's like, I hear that man. Like, you know, the jury is pretty female and D she's, you know, pretty female. What? Devin's like, there's no way anyone votes me over D. Uh, and so, um, and it was so funny too.
[00:19:26] They're like, yeah, very female jury, you know, like Angela and Lala and. Um, it was a funny comment. Um, but the point being, of course, like they're trying to say, okay, D is the true jury thread here again. Does Drew believe this?
[00:19:52] Doesn't seem likely considering all the other conversations that, uh, that they've had, uh, that he's had with melody and with drew and everyone. Uh, or melody and drew melody and D. Um, but again, like once now that melody is out, it is entirely possible that, uh, that he might start drifting.
[00:20:15] If, if it's the case that he was thinking, I'm going to go to the end with Devin's and then it's, you know, melody's influence. That's like, Hey, you know, Devin's beats you, right? It's like, Oh, maybe I shouldn't. And then melody's gone. It's, it's entirely possible. You drift back to where you were before that influence. If melody was the only influence to get him in that direction. And it wasn't these influence. If it was D's influence as well, then he might really still be there, right?
[00:20:42] Like she can continue to press that Devin's beats them all and that he needs to make that decision. Again, he's now promising Devin's that he's keeping him. Devin's is actively working on drew, which is another angle of this. He had not been working on drew prior to this much. Uh, so we, again, we just, we don't know for sure. I think it's interesting personally. I like, I personally believe full heartedly, um, drew's best move at the final four is to win DeVito and evict.
[00:21:12] Like full stop. Um, with that being said, like there's a non-zero chance that drew evicting Devin's at final four. Sours Devin's on drew. And like, he, I think if drew was at the, not drew Devin's at the final round table. I know one thing for sure. Two things for certain. If Devin's at the final round table, he's gassing D up where he feels good. That's actually very true. Yes. And I mean, D will do the same for Devin's, but yeah. Yeah.
[00:21:39] But I think Devin's will have more sway over this jury, um, because how much they respect them. And I don't know if you want Devin's like putting that much sway in there versus going to the final three and being the person to directly take the shot at Devin's pull a Steve Moses taking out Vanessa. And I think people will be like, Oh, look at drew. We thought he was the icon follower the whole time, but he's the one who took out D and then immediately took out daddy Devin's. Like, and I think that gains him a lot of respect as well. I hear that.
[00:22:08] I do think, I think I'd just rather be competing against D in the final three HOH than Devin's. I think if I take out Devin's and he gases up D great. I also evict D at the final three. Right. Like, I think that's, and then if I'm the one to, to take out Devin's and D at the end, I don't, I don't think Taylor beats me.
[00:22:32] Uh, and, and yeah, I just feel, I feel so much better facing D because like, we know that those, the part one and part two are both generally somewhat physical competitions. Yes. Um, and then part three is a quiz. Uh, drew is all but guaranteed to be in part three. If he's up against Taylor and D, uh, based on the physical nature of parts one and two. And then I also think Devin's is a better quiz.
[00:23:02] He's better studied up and D at the moment. Uh, so like, I think, I think I still would take the shot at Devin's here. If I'm, if I'm drew. Drew, I, I agree. I'm just saying, I don't, I don't think it's impossible for drew to like vote out D here and still be like drawing dead at that point. Or like drew is a loser game. I still think drew has moves to make and ways to play that I think could make this exciting.
[00:23:26] I mean, either way, if he wins both final four veto and final three, HOH, I think drew probably wins the game. As long as he doesn't like take Devin's. Like I, like I, I, I, that's just funny. Cause you like Devin's don't want another season 38. I genuinely think this is just another season 38. The person who takes out Devin's is the front runner. Well, I mean, it would be kind of wild if, cause like the thing is that Devin's has actively wanted drew here at the final four.
[00:23:53] Thinking that drew was an agent of his, which is very survivor 38 where he actively, uh, works to keep Chris, uh, thinking that that was better for his game. And then Chris ultimately is his downfall because it beats him. He beats him at four on fire making. Now, granted, Devin's didn't actively have the choice. Drew ended up winning that final five veto, but you know, it was still like, I'm sure it would still be playing in his head.
[00:24:22] Like, Oh my God, I might've made the same mistake. It was drew. That was the problem. Um, but, but, but that's the thing. Like it could have been drew. That was the problem. It could have been D that was the problem at the end of the day. They're tough choices to make. Um, so Taylor does do some one-on-ones, uh, very quick. Um, and, and so here's the thing we missed pretty much all of her talk with D. Uh, it was, it was not on the feeds.
[00:24:50] Um, and so I'm, I'm quite curious about this conversation because she comes out of this conversation, goes straight into a conversation with Devin's where she tells Devin's I'm putting up drew and D. Uh, now my, my, I'm curious, right? Was this Taylor's original plan or did she talk with D about, Hey, maybe it's drew and Devin's I'm planning to put up.
[00:25:20] And then D said, no, no, no, put me up instead. Um, because I say this because D again, set up that whole thing. I want to know what Taylor's thinking without influencing her because who she nominates will be very telling. Um, then to the cameras later, she says that Taylor told her that if she wins the veto, if Taylor wins the veto, she will use it on D and have D be the vote. Mm hmm.
[00:25:49] So that's me implies that this conversation with D and Taylor was a little more involved than just, Hey D you're going up on the block. Uh, and perhaps was an agreed upon thing of like, Hey, put up me and drew keep Devin's as comfortable as possible, uh, and play up Devin's is threat level.
[00:26:13] Um, so that's, you know, uh, so that drew ideally evicts Devin's over me in the event. Cause if she leaves D off the block, it, it, it reinforces the female thing. Right. Um, so like there is a lot of, uh, active rooms and, and this doesn't have to be D's idea either. It might be Taylor's idea.
[00:26:34] Um, but the point being that I'm, I'm curious if this conversation took place because the fact that Taylor promised or maybe not promised, but the D's under the assumption that Taylor is going to use the veto on her because Taylor apparently told her that tells me that that's, potentially like the true plan here. Uh, despite the fact that we did not see that plan. So, uh, that's what I'm curious about. I also think this was a very interesting conversation. I am ready to eat my words.
[00:27:03] Um, with that being said, I do believe personally that Taylor and D like had a good palp out on what to do this round because I know we've been talking about, Oh, D's done a really good job on working on melody over the past few days, past couple of weeks. D's also done a really good job working with Taylor. And I think of the final four D has done the most work in working with Taylor. And I think Taylor feels the best about D as a player at this point in time. I think Taylor, if Taylor had to sit next to someone, I think she takes true. That's my personal things.
[00:27:32] But I think she's also happy with sitting next to D personally. I just think she don't want to sit next to Devens, which is why I think it was very interesting that she left, um, Devens off. Cause even when Devens tried to like get in with Taylor, Taylor basically laughed in his face being like, huh, you win. What are we talking about? That's not a joke. So that's why I was like, I don't believe Taylor feels the best about Devens. I think this is some sort of play at least to like have Taylor and D separate a little. Right. Yeah.
[00:28:00] It's cause like when, when we were on the round table last night, I was reading about the conversation that she had with Devens without having watched it, having watched it. It is a very quick conversation. And a lot of the like, um, momentum comes from Devens himself. So she pulls in Devens. She says, I'm putting up drew and D I'm leaving you off the block. And Devens is like, right. And just, but it doesn't really matter. Ultimately we all know it doesn't really matter. Uh, and he says, well, yeah.
[00:28:29] So what really matters, like, what are the plans for the veto? He asks her that question. She responds by saying, I just want to make sure that one of the two of you are off the block. Implying that drew is the target by keeping one, by keeping one of the two of the icons off the block. And this wording kind of like correlates to what D was saying. Right. Like if, if Taylor told D I will, if I win the veto, I will use it on.
[00:28:59] It would make sense that she said it that way to Devens, that I want one of the two of you off the block. It's a weird thing to say to specifically one person that I want one of the two of you off the block. If you've, if you're specifically trying to keep specifically Devens off the block.
[00:29:15] Um, so I, I do think without having seen the conversation itself, I do think there's a very real chance that Taylor actually does use the veto on D if she wins it, leaving D with the vote to evict. Which of course we'll get into again, D's camera talk about who we think she will evict. But, uh, but that is, that is my guess.
[00:29:40] And then after that, in the conversation with Devens, he says, I think we can do this, you know, final two to which she basically just kind of like nods along. Like, sure. Yes. Um, so, uh, so while that initial reading last night, we were like, Oh, does, does, does Taylor want to keep Devens and target drew? I'm not sure. I mean, those two things might still be true, but I think her priority might actually be D not Devens.
[00:30:10] The target may still be drew or it might be Devens. I'm not even, not even sure. Uh, so, uh, so yes, that's, that was, uh, that was that check-in. Yeah, but here's, here's the truth. And I think Taylor is actually the most interesting person in the final four because let's, let's call a spade a spade. Taylor is walking a very tight rope if she wants to win this game. And there's not a guarantee that the other side of the type rope is tied to something. So like Taylor has to like move perfectly.
[00:30:38] And I genuinely believe for Taylor to win D has to be in final three full stop. Um, so she can't have drew or Devens at the final three because they will 100% take each other. And I think if drew Devens to tear a final three, I give her maybe a 10% chance of making it to the final part of the HOH. And I think she has a lot better chance of making it to the final HOH.
[00:30:58] If D is in the final three, whether it's D and drew or D and Devens, like, um, and Taylor needs to, Taylor is in a position, unfortunately for Taylor, where she has to win that final HOH. And make at least one more big shot if she wants to win this game. So it doesn't make sense for me, for her to want to keep Devens around when she views him as a jury threat. Like she's been, Taryn, how long has she been pushing with Melody, with Yash, with Barrett? How much Devens got to go? We can't sit next to the end with Devens.
[00:31:28] And you're telling me in the final quarter, she's going to change her mind about that. I don't believe that for a second. Otherwise I would call Taylor a fool. I don't want to do it, but I will do it. Anybody that takes Devens is a fool. Yes. So that's why I genuinely believe it makes more sense to try to distance herself from D initially. Um, so that way there is a chance that, um, they're not looked at as a duo and we have to get D out at this point in time. With that being said, and we're going to talk more about this when we get to the D camera talk.
[00:31:57] Like, I don't know if D is the right person to pull off the block for Taylor right now. If she does win DeVito. Right. I mean, yeah. Yeah. Well, here's the thing, right? I do. I do think, and I mentioned this last night. I do think there is a logic to keeping both D and Devens in the sense that as we talked about. So that neither of them for sure plan to take each other to the final two. They both will definitely take her to the final two.
[00:32:26] The problem is, does she win if she gets taken? Um, I don't think so. I think you lose. Like, like you have to be banking on anti icon sentiment at that jury. Right. And I don't want to bank on that. Yeah. Uh, but if so, but if Devens leaves, uh, then she has less of a move to make herself at final three. Right. Uh, so like I, I do. I mean, I, I agree with you.
[00:32:55] I think her absolute worst case scenario is D leaving. And that's because not only is, is it dangerous in that? Like, I think Devens will probably take drew. So just in the second place, drew might cut Devens and take Taylor, but if he does, I think that's his winning move. Right. Uh, and this is the even bigger problem for me.
[00:33:12] I think drew and Devens in the final three might, um, uh, ice her out of a part three, uh, uh, competition where like, you know, drew might win endurance. Devens might win the, you know, puzzly part two, whatever. Right. Uh, that's really dangerous for her.
[00:33:33] Whereas if it's D, I think like D and drew drew still might win endurance or maybe D does, but, uh, ideally drew does quite frankly. And then she can probably maybe beat D in part two, which is right. Like much better chance. Uh, if it's Devens and D then like Taylor herself has a better shot of winning part, uh, the endurance part. Uh, I think.
[00:33:58] Um, and again, still, if like, if for some reason it's Devens or something like that, she's at least facing D in part two, which is a much better option for her. So I do think she just needs D in there in the final three, uh, to have a better shot of winning final three HOH. Um, and a better shot of potentially even winning the game. I still also think that like D is one of her better options of sitting next to in the final two itself.
[00:34:23] Um, so, uh, so with that in mind, and you don't know what drew might do and you don't know what Devens might do. Uh, I think in that sense, if she wins the veto and takes off the, like that could make a lot of sense for her. Um, it's just a matter of, cause like in the, cause if D does evict drew, then okay, it's, it's, it's D and Devens and they both will take her to final two. And she has a chance of winning herself and cutting Devens and taking D, which I think is a pretty decent spot. So we'll see.
[00:34:53] We'll see. It's, it's hard. It's, it's, it's, it's a weird end game. It's a tough one. Like it's a tough one for everyone. Like, I think, um, you, Mario and Melissa talked about last night when y'all were showing like, Oh, uh, who does everyone want to win the game? As far as he, like, it's so close between these four, um, based on rooting fan interest, but also the way they set up this final ending game. It is so weird because, especially because D has been putting a lot of work.
[00:35:23] Devens have not been putting as much work. Andrew was like very fallible. And then you have Taylor who was a wild card entry who like, they both like have no fear of, but also have the fear of Godden. It's, it makes no sense to me, like how this is the final four and like everyone's the best move. Both. It's different for every person. So that's why I think the competition outcomes are very interesting. Yeah.
[00:35:51] So Taylor also has a quick one-on-one with drew and tells him he's going up on the block to which he says, good. I want to go up, put me in that number one spot. Uh, I'm going to get my fifth time on the block. I'm catching up to you, Taylor. Um, they, cause it obviously doesn't matter. Uh, so the day continues. Drew still has more conversations with Devens about that, how they're basically taking each other.
[00:36:18] Uh, he has more conversations with D about basically taking each other. And that, uh, that, you know, again, how Devens is a little scary. Devens and D continue to talk to each other. Um, but the important things are when they talk to the cameras, uh, because obviously the, and this is what I like about this final, uh, final four as well.
[00:36:39] Uh, or at least this, this three in the final four, um, that D Devens and drew, they have been pretty consistently three of the most active players in the game. Yeah. And not a single one of them is going to be one of those people in this spot. That's like, ah, well, they'll never believe that I'll, I'll take them anyway. So it's not worth it. Like all three of them are telling all three of them. All three of them are good.
[00:37:08] Like, uh, they're all lying to each other. Uh, they're, they're all promising the world to each person. I love it. Like it's, it's, it wasn't, I love how you love it. I also like it cause it makes it active, but I'm also like every conversation. I'm like, Oh, this is what they mean. Then you go to them. Oh, nevermind. This is what drew really means. Then them goes to them. Nevermind. This is what Devens really means. It's really funny. And that's what you mean when you say the camp house are the ultimate, um, yeah. Decision maker.
[00:37:36] Um, but like, it is fun seeing people that like does not have that. Has that never say die attitude. I love that from a player. Like even when you have very little game left to play, I think that's why we like Morgan and Vince last season. Well, at least I like Morgan and Vince last season. Uh, is that they kept running through scenarios. They kept talking through things. And these three are going to talk, even though a lot of the feeds yesterday were boring when they were talking. It was like, okay, let's see what they're going to do. Let's see what angle they're going to play because all of them have an angle. They're trying to play. Yeah.
[00:38:04] And, and this is really drew's element as well. Like, uh, like now that he's in a position where again, he's like lying to people. They believe him a lot more. It's always been the case when he's honest. They don't believe him when he's lying. They do believe him. And, uh, and this is a perfect, like drew is built for the end game of big brother. He's great at these competitions. He has been decent at these competitions at the very least.
[00:38:28] Um, and, uh, and he's actively willing to lie to everyone, which is like lying is more effective. The longer you get into the game, uh, like, um, so love what he's doing here. Love what all of them are doing here, especially now that Devin's is getting his, his feet, uh, in, in these waters. Uh, and so Devin's talks to the cameras. He says, I still don't know if today was a good thing or a bad thing, but man, everything feels so important.
[00:38:58] Now, like most of the game I've been able to check out, but it's now it's exhausting. And it's so funny that he said that because I was literally on the update yesterday. Like Devin's is asleep at the wheel. You need Steve Moses. You need to be constantly worrying about everything. And now that Taylor has this HOH and he knows that one of him, D or drew is leaving. He's recognized. I need to be active all the time and it's exhausting him, but it's what's necessary. Devin's.
[00:39:27] Um, so he, again, like, uh, he, like we just don't know. He, we know he plans to cut D at final three. We don't know yet if he right now plans to cut D at final four. We did not get enough of an indication here. Drew interrupts this camera talk. Uh, he's continuing to tell Drew he's going to keep him, but he's also told D he's going to keep her. Uh, and I think this is important too. I mentioned this last time in the round table.
[00:39:58] He has told Taylor like, or not told Taylor, but he has now an understanding with Taylor that drew would theoretically be the target. Um, so if Taylor would prefer drew to leave over D that could also impact what Devin's wants either in the direction of agreeing with what Taylor wants, because he thinks he has a final two with her or in the opposite direction, because he's sketched out about the fact that Taylor wants D to stay. Right.
[00:40:25] Um, so, uh, so that's also worth noting. I'm going to call a spade a spade. If I was Devin's, I'm a, if Taylor told me what she wanted, say he went to veto, I'm doing the exact opposite and I'm blaming it all on Taylor. I'm throwing Taylor under that bus so hard. I'm going to be like, make sure you do not take Taylor. I did. Look at her. She's trying to take you out now. Now, now I've, I really genuinely believe in my heart and soul that if Devin's wins that
[00:40:52] veto, I think he's a VT and D, uh, because he's talked about, because even when he's talked about, um, about survivor 38, don't want to play with his heart. Um, I, I believe him when he says he was so close to the win and that's like took a lot out of him to lose. And I, and I genuinely think you say drew is his, um, Chris, I've generally believe he sees D as his Chris and he was like, no, for sure. I mean, that's what you said to drew that he sees drew that D he sees D as his Chris. Yes.
[00:41:18] So I don't think if the opportunity is there, I think he's going to take the shot, especially because he believes that you will take up to the end and he believes he can be Taylor. Like, so I don't see why he would take that shot of taking out drew and then leaving D the opportunity to take Taylor instead of film. Cause let me tell you something about Devin's. If Devin's thinking about the train D, he thought about that three weeks prior. Like that's what I know. Well, but this is the thing.
[00:41:46] This is why I'm thinking like, I wonder if drew is really his Chris here because I think I don't think either one of them take him to final two right now. No, I think they both would take, I mean, I do think drew is more likely to, so this is the dilemma, right? Yeah. The dilemma is I think drew is more difficult to be in a competition at the final three,
[00:42:12] but drew is also more likely to take devins to final two only in the sense that I think there's no chance D does. And there's a chance that drew does, but it's a chance when he's more likely to have that choice. No chance when you're more likely to be able to beat that person and not give that person a choice. And so it's like, what is the better option there?
[00:42:42] If it were me, I would want better odds of winning that final three HOH and having the chance in my own hands, uh, the choice in my own hands. Like that's what I would want. I think I would want drew out here because if true is gone, I'm basically guaranteed a spot in part three and that spot might be against Taylor who historically has not done particularly well in competitions or might be against D who is historically not done well in quiz competitions and hasn't studied very well.
[00:43:12] Uh, and I feel really good about that. If I keep drew in the hopes of having a slightly better chance that he'll take me. And then I'm facing off against him in part three and I'm fighting for my life because what if he doesn't take me? And it turns out he doesn't, but he beats me like, Oh, I would really, that would kill me. And again, and if it, and if it turned out like drew would have taken me like, Oh, well, right.
[00:43:36] Like, uh, like I still, there's still no guarantee that he would like if say Taylor wins, um, like, okay, well then Taylor probably may, maybe, maybe Taylor would have won anyway and, and, and taken drew instead of the right. Like, uh, I, I feel like that's the call I would probably make here, but, but it's a tough one either way. I love that. Cause I would have made the exact opposite call because I, because I, I, I think when you
[00:44:03] are the front runner, which Devin's is you play from a point of safety, you play so you don't mess anything up. And like, cause let me tell you something you talked about on, um, podcast about Devin's being a clutch player except for that last fire making challenge. I don't want to be like, yeah, I've been clutch all season. And then oops, I accidentally slipped on the endurance and I was in the part two with Taylor and Taylor happened to be amazing at this puzzle. Like, um, I don't want to be in a position where it's like, ah, I locked, I messed up
[00:44:32] and now I'm locked out and I don't see Taylor taking me. And D is not taking me either. Whereas Drew, I would prefer to like have that chance. I, Taryn, I got a week with Drew. I got seven days to massage him, poison him against either poison him against Taylor. I can poison him against Taylor easy. I don't even need a week to do that. So like, if I was Devin's, I would like push hard to like keep Drew around. So that way, even if there's a chance he betrays me, I'll, unlike you, I'll prefer to
[00:44:59] take the chance that he pays, betrays me than the guarantee that she betrays me. That's very fair. And it's really, it could just come down to like, what are you more confident in? Like, do you, are you sure that you can get Drew to take you? If you, given that time, can you get inside his head? Can you, he's called himself the woo of the season. Can you woo him?
[00:45:25] Uh, like, uh, you know, and if you think you can, then keeping Drew is the better shot. Uh, if you're worried that you can't, then maybe relying on your own competition skills might be the better play. And I think this goes back to you. Why this is such a fun final four? Because we, if you, you just made two totally opposite arguments and they're both legit. They're both valid. And it's like, yeah, I see that. A hundred percent. You know?
[00:45:52] And like, uh, I, I feel like, you know, I feel like so many arguments are valid through this end game. And, and like, unfortunately, like everyone is like, what are you talking about? My, my way is the only possible conceivable moron. Um, and, uh, and it's, it's not as fun when that happens.
[00:46:16] Uh, but really genuinely, I think there is, there are so many perspectives and ways to look at this end game. Uh, and I, and I find it so fascinating. I feel like there, it's not that often that we get this many choices that feel so up in the air. So balanced. Uh, it's, it's pretty wild. Uh, and, and, you know, the, you know, I have my own perspective, but it's not when I, I'm like, Oh, this is, this is the way, right?
[00:46:46] Like, uh, it's pretty, pretty interesting. Like you don't get into a round table and everyone's in the green. If there isn't a valid way for everyone. Like, right. Yeah. Uh, so, um, so D also talks to the cameras. She's I'm so bad at puzzles. Um, she says she thinks she's good no matter who wins, but she still wants to win. And this is where again, like credit to drew.
[00:47:14] Drew, he's done a fantastic draw, fantastic draw. He's true thing up everything. Uh, he's done a fantastic job of convincing both D and Devins that he plans to take them here at the final four. They both feel good about drew, uh, and feel worse about the other. Um, and, uh, and that is, that is a pretty good place to be granted. They both still feel good about the other at the final four. Yeah. Um, final three. Right.
[00:47:44] She says she, again, this is where she says she expects Taylor to use the veto on her because Taylor told her she would, which is where my theory came from. Well, about the conversation that was not on the feeds. Uh, and then she says, I'm not sure I can cut Devins at four. I know I would at final three. I'm not sure I could do that at the, at final four. She said this before she wants one of them to win. And by cutting Devins at final four, it opens up the door for drew to cut her and take Taylor to the end at final and the final two.
[00:48:12] And then neither of them win. And that to her feels like not an outcome she's okay with. Uh, and, and this is interesting because like we've always said D is the more cutthroat between her and Devins. I still think that's true, but Devins now seems like the one more likely to cut her at four, whereas she would cut him at three. Um, and I do think that part of this is Devins is history of final fours. And also these history of having won a million dollars.
[00:48:42] I think that like wild D is cutthroat. Like, I think that she has this idea of an outcome that she wants for the season that she actually does care about a little more than the money itself. Cause she's already won some money. Uh, that's the kind of maybe the idea I'm having here. Uh, whereas for Devins, he's not won that money before he's got a little sea of money in his pocket, but, uh, you know, uh, And that's like, don't, don't discount that. And the 10 K.
[00:49:13] Uh, but I think that at the end of this, it might end up being that Devins is slightly more cutthroat than D here at this particular moment in time. Um, and that would be quite an interesting end to their story. Uh, considering like, I think the thought we've had all season that D was more likely to cut Devins. But as of right now, it does seem as though D is telling the cameras, she won't be cutting Devins.
[00:49:39] She will be cutting Drew, uh, at the final four and then cut Devins at the final three. Um, we'll see. She said things to the cameras before that she then turns around and then says, actually, nevermind. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. It was just last round where she was like, I will do what Devin wants. And then she was like the next day, should we go against what Devin really wants? I was definitely going to evict Drew. What was I saying? Like, yeah.
[00:50:09] Uh, so we'll see. This is D who we're talking about. Like I, I believe D believes this in the moment. That's why I'll tell you, Terry. We got a couple of days to eviction. Exactly. And that's the thing too. It's like, it's one thing to feel this way prior to the veto competition. It's another thing to feel that way. If she wins the veto, she holds the power and Devins is sitting there on the block helpless. It's like, Ooh, am I really going to keep him?
[00:50:39] Like, you know, uh, also y'all let's not pretend. D wasn't ready. D was ready to cut Devins a long time ago. She tried multiple times to get that man out. Like you, you think now that we're at the five yard line, she's not going to cut him. Like she might not, but I feel again, if you don't cut Devins, you're a fool. I'll call you that. I don't want to call you that. I'll call you that. Yeah, I agree. I think for D, she has to cut Devins here.
[00:51:04] I think Devins, uh, like I said, I think Devins has a bit more of a dilemma on his hands. Um, but for D and Taylor, both, I think Devins is the call. Um, and, uh, or sorry, no for Taylor, for Taylor, it's also, I think, I think for Taylor, it's like, what do you want? Taylor? What is your end goal? Is your end goal to like put yourself in the best position to win or put yourself in the best position to get to the final two? And then that determines what's their best call.
[00:51:33] For me, I think Taylor and Devins both have a dilemma for Taylor. It's between Devins and drew, which one is best for Devins. It's between D and true. Obviously, uh, for D and drew both. I think it's in both of their interests pretty heavily to evict Evans. I agree. I think, I think they both are far better off going into final three with each other than with Devins.
[00:52:01] Um, but we might be heading into situation where neither of them plan to do that is we, we don't know, you know, you know, this, this, this season has been fun for a couple of reasons. Um, one of them is like the fun gameplay. The other reason is for the actively bad gameplay. And I think that's also good to talk about. Yeah. So, uh, so we'll see, we'll see. Uh, they will likely play the veto today.
[00:52:30] I would assume, but I'm not a hundred percent on that. I don't remember exactly when it was played last season, uh, here, but, um, I'm assuming since the eviction is, uh, episode is on Thursday, that they are going to want the veto competition to happen as soon as possible. Um, and so hopefully this time tomorrow, I'll be able to let you know who won the veto and maybe we'll have a better idea of what they plan to do, considering that they won't need to be lying to each other as much anymore.
[00:53:00] Uh, so, uh, so stay tuned for that. AJ, anything else from yesterday you want to bring up? I would like to take the job of the great Pouya.
