Big Brother 28 is at a crossroads as houseguests navigate shifting alliances and risky deals in the wake of the latest Veto ceremony. Host Taran Armstrong delivers a detailed live feed recap, focusing on Devens’ pivotal moves as HOH and the vote chaos sparked by a surprise nominee switch.

This episode zeroes in on Devens’ decision to use the Veto on Lyric instead of Melody, leading to Rome’s nomination and an uncertain β€œdiplomatic immunity” deal. New alliance talk spreads quicklyβ€”Yash proposes a men’s group with Devens, Barrett, and Drew, while Angela, Dee, Taylor, and LaTrice discuss locking in a separate four. Meanwhile, Melody’s safety is anything but certain; the house divides over whether to keep her or Jason, prompting strategic conversations, secret votes, and warnings about fractured trust. Showmance rumors, fake breakups, and playful drama only raise the stakes as houseguests scramble to protect themselves ahead of eviction.

  • Taran Armstrong outlines Devens’ Veto use, shifting the target and causing last-minute scrambling.
  • Yash’s suggestion of a four-man alliance opens new possibilities for vote flipping.
  • Angela and Dee work to pull in Taylor and LaTrice for a strategic women’s alliance.
  • Multiple houseguests openly debate flipping the vote to evict Melody, despite earlier plans.
  • Showmance speculation and fake relationship drama spread uncertainty, even impacting alliance dynamics.

As the eviction approaches, fragile deals and shaky alliances put power up for grabs. Will the votes holdβ€”or is a big blindside ahead? Listen in for Taran’s full breakdown and all the latest from the BB28 house.

[00:00:10] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH You know he is the reason, you know what's happened Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again

[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning Welcome to our live feed update for July 21st I'm your host, Taran Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds It was day 14 in the house And there was a replacement nominee There were new alliances, new allegiances

[00:01:14] And plenty to talk about here on my own as we discuss the day on the feeds So let's get into it Just you and me, just me and you We'll maybe do some questions at the end There's genuinely a lot to talk about here As you all know Devins is the HOH He nominated Jason Lyric and Melody with the intention of backdooring Rome

[00:01:45] Uh oh, Rome Devins also won the veto And Obviously we've talked plenty about it Initially planned to use it on Melody However Lyric Got in there Lyric got in there And convinced him instead to use it on her So that is where we're starting the day That uh, Devins has

[00:02:12] Pretty much locked in on the idea of using the veto on Lyric instead of Instead of Melody We're almost getting there We're almost getting there with the names So uh, so that's where we start the day Devins telling Rome Hey, I'll be taking Lyric off the block And putting you up on the block instead I'm sorry And you're welcome

[00:02:40] It was really what was being said there Uh, Rome says Basically he's pleased with this result This is what Rome was trying to get out of Devins And he says that uh, Devins will now have Uh, some kind of diplomatic Uh, the deal The diplomatic immunity status from Rome Um Now, you know How uh How real is this?

[00:03:10] How real is this from Rome? It's it's actually like Who knows? Because the reality is There's still a whole few days of campaigning There's like The different realities of the situation If Rome is an HOH next week And Devins is not in power And all kinds of stuff What I will say is Because these kinds of deals Very often fall through They don't they don't happen

[00:03:40] Uh, people go back on them all the time Especially in a spot where it doesn't really make any sense for them To stick to the deal Uh, so normally if you're looking for like Will a deal really hold? You're probably looking for somebody who is professing a lot In private to their trusted people That they plan to stick to the deal Often like hey, I really I'm really gonna stick to this I'm really gonna stick to this Uh, and even then it can often backfire

[00:04:09] It can often go awry Um, Rome does tell Lyric And Mallory Perhaps I don't remember exactly who else was in the room He does say at one point that he plans to Not vote Devins out Like next week Um, but this deal is only really good for like a week And Quite frankly He My point is he's not really

[00:04:38] Talking much About Holding to it Uh, he is When he's talking to Lyric He's talking mostly about How much she loves her And how good a mother she will make Uh, and We don't We don't need to go any further So You know, will Will Devins actually get something out of this deal? I honestly don't really think so But Who knows

[00:05:06] Uh, Rome does apologize to Haley Kind of a long time coming He had planned to do this for a while Um, and they hadn't really Had a proper conversation about it Uh, she also apologizes to Rome And then we're talking about of course the the blow up Um, and she apologizes to Rome Saying that she is sorry That She said he had small balls Even though it was funny

[00:05:36] Uh, and Rome does his thing where he's like Ah, well Maybe we can work together Nobody would expect it Nobody would expect us To work together Which kind of goes to show just how Again, genuine Rome is being in these Potential conversations Um, in the meantime Lyric is still working on D Acting as though she is broken up with Rome Or at the very least is trying to distance herself from Rome If it's confusing to you

[00:06:06] What the status of like The public perception of a breakup is That's fair That's kind of the status of it in the house Way more people than Should Way more people than there should be Believe that this is true And have believed that it's true for far too long Uh, Lyric talking to D And D giving her advice And Lyric talking about like I don't even know if after the show

[00:06:35] Like, cause D's like We'll wait until after the show maybe Cause there won't be things getting in the way And Lyric's like I'm not even sure about that Uh, and, and all kinds of stuff Going on there But for the most part By this point in the game Especially by the end of the day Most people are very, very aware That this is fake And the ploy to keep it going Is starting to fade Because the reason to To do the ploy has faded

[00:07:03] Uh, once the veto ceremony takes place So I think we're We're gonna start to see this fade over time That is, uh, that is What I, I think was happening here Devins does eventually let Lyric know He will be taking her off the block She's of course very grateful Thank you so much, oh my god Uh, Devins also talks to Yash And finally lets Yash in On the plan Uh, you know This is what This is what we're doing

[00:07:33] Um, Yash is like Oh man If you recall Yash not really In on the plan To this point Uh, Yash agrees To do what Devins wants him to do He does this multiple times throughout the day Says he will vote out Rome Or Jason if Rome wins the blockbuster Uh, now Yash Basically tells people what they want to hear However, there was another interesting part Of this conversation with Yash Which is that he's been talking to

[00:08:03] Drew and Kamu and some other people Uh, and he really likes Drew And he obviously really likes Devins Um, and he was, he was actually kind of thinking like What if we made an alliance? It was me, you Talking to Devins This is Yash speaking Me, you, Barrett and Drew Devins, oh yeah, I could see that Like nobody would see that coming

[00:08:32] Um, this is obviously an interesting alliance proposition It's basically Yash proposing to jump into What is in some people's minds an established trio Uh, Drew really thinks that Uh, Barrett and Devins are his people Um, and uh, to some degree that's true Barrett is certainly locked in with him We're gonna have a conversation with them later in the night Um, but

[00:09:00] Uh, Devins is maybe less invested in this trio Or at least slightly less invested in this trio Uh, than the other two are But the point being Yash sort of latching himself onto What is ostensibly already a final three Uh, is actually not bad for Yash to have stumbled into Like not, not the worst in the world Um, primarily because If these three could pull Yash into

[00:09:29] What he believes to be a core four-person alliance That would be phenomenal for their games Just phenomenal Um, because Yash is somebody who has already now won a blockbuster And, uh, and if he's gonna be winning competitions If they're not gonna be taking him out anytime soon Uh, then Having him on side would be great Especially because he's been so slippery In terms of just telling everyone what they want To hear

[00:09:55] Um, now, uh, you may have noticed Yes, he did name three men Don't worry That will be commented on in the house Uh, Devins goes to Barrett And tells him about the Yash alliance pitch And they kinda laugh about it Cause it's kinda funny Um, Drew joins them And they agree Like, let's just say yes Like, why, why wouldn't we say yes? Yeah, sure, let's It's the four seasons But with Yash And it's all men

[00:10:27] Uh, they also tell Dee about it Devins tells Dee Drew eventually tells, uh, Angela Like this is this They tell their alliance members What's going on Um, they, they do Um, and Uh, and Dee Of, once telling Dee They, they, again They joke around They're like, yeah, sorry Dee Dee doesn't get an invite Because, uh, she's a woman

[00:10:58] Whoops, sorry Dee Um, so, uh, again Just, it's very useful I would say to know, of course That, uh, this is the perception here Um, Barrett does talk with Angela Uh, a little bit later Um, he, they kind of bond A bit, um, Barrett is saying Like, hey, don't you worry about me Like, you're not gonna come out of this season

[00:11:27] And see clips of me talking trash about you, Angela I, I love Angela Um, and they're talking about, you know The other people in the alliance He said, I, I like Drew too Uh, and he says, I know Drew is loyal Angela, because Angela does not think so Uh, but yeah, he's a little Dr. Will He is a little Dr. Will, you know I'm, I'm mostly because I'm worried He's gonna get caught I'm just worried people are gonna clock him At some point

[00:11:56] It's gonna be bad news for Drew Uh, which in my opinion Is the perspective that Angela should have on Drew Which is like, this is great He's out in front of me Doing all this stuff, helping my game And probably will get caught Or at the very least, if I need to pull that cord I can get him caught whenever I want But it is what it is Angela also talks to Rome

[00:12:25] And he tells her that, uh, Jason Is the one that told him That Angela was the ringleader of the group upstairs But he doesn't know where Jason got that from Because, and this comes up because he was talking about how He was told that she was the ringleader of what was happening upstairs Um, now This honestly mostly comes Uh, by the fact that they kind of just assumed that it was true

[00:12:50] Uh, and, uh, and Drew kind of confirmed that it was true to them This is like, the one thing that, uh, that like Angela might be able to hold her hat on In the future, despite the fact that as we'll talk about later Drew is still very dedicated not only to the crossovers But to even Angela herself Um, and, and we will get to a point And I think we're actually already at that point Where like, if Drew does turn on them at any point

[00:13:19] It's no longer like it We really just have to start to blame them Because he is still loyal to them Uh, because this whole thing about Drew Like, confirming their, their suspicion that it was Angela He was trying to also pawn it off to Haley in the same moment This was not Drew intentionally trying to like Throw Angela under the bus In my opinion This was Drew like Yeah, you're kind of right Like, yeah, Angela was leading things

[00:13:48] I think Angela was talking Cause she was talking the most Uh, but also Like Haley was doing a lot Haley was doing a lot in that conversation Like, Drew was doing everything he was supposed to be doing In that conversation In my opinion And he hasn't even gotten caught for that That's like the one thing you might be able to say He's done a little bit Um, and that's not something that even is known Uh, so, um So they, they have that conversation

[00:14:16] Uh, and then the feeds come down for the veto ceremony Things have been pretty locked here in general Um, and when the feeds come back from the, uh, the veto ceremony Of course, Lyric has come off the block And Rome is on the block We did it We did it We did it Oh, I love you so much Oh my god I love you too Yes, we did it

[00:14:45] Was my speech too much? It was a little too much You think they believe it? I don't know So Lyric Is now off the block Melody stays on the block With Rome and Jason And This is where things are now Ostensibly how things should go Is that Rome is the primary target If he wins the blockbuster Jason's the backup target Melody should be safe In any scenario

[00:15:16] Well, I say should be Because things are a little more complicated than that And that's, I think, one of the primary things we'll be talking about today Um, first of all It does not take long After the veto ceremony For Dee to express to Angela You know, I wouldn't mind Actually Melody going this week Even over Jason Like, the week in Drew

[00:15:46] Uh, but even Angela in this moment is like Is that a good idea? I feel like Jason could come after us Like, I'm, I don't know about that I don't know about that And Dee backs down And so the idea is dead But the fact that Dee even had the idea Is certainly concerning Especially because I wanna just quickly take a look at the votes here Um, because

[00:16:16] Well, you know, theoretically Uh, the tool shed has the votes Uh, to do whatever they want And You Shouldn't be able to convince Drew Or even Kamu Uh, that, like It's okay to take out Melody And I certainly don't think that like Barrett would be super on board with that play at this point I don't even think Sir, I don't even think that, uh, the Devins Would, it would, would be super on board Although he's been shown to be relatively easily swayed

[00:16:44] Uh, really what you need to do is convince The entirety of tool shed And there are plenty of people that should not agree to it But it's not impossible But things get even more complicated Once we get through further parts of the day Because By leaving Melody up on the block They have put themselves in a situation And that situation is that If Jason and Melody stay on the block

[00:17:15] They have people like Yash Who has agreed to vote out Jason But prior to that Was kind of hoping that Melody would go You have people like Lyric and Rome Rome who would be off the block In a Jason-Melody situation Who Kind of would prefer for Jason to stay We're not entirely sure where Lyric falls on that scale Until later in the night But let me tell you it's not looking good for Melody You have Lala and Taylor Who

[00:17:43] Both also have a good Working relationship with Jason still And don't really have much of a relationship With Melody You should certainly want Or be leaning toward voting Melody out Over Jason And just like that You're starting to look at like five Maybe six votes If Lyric is able to convince Mallory Now Mallory hasn't been convinced And probably shouldn't be convinced But like You're starting to get a little A little dangerous

[00:18:12] In terms of another split vote house In order to protect Matt Melody Who shouldn't even be on the block Quite frankly But it certainly shouldn't be Needing to expose yourself in any significant way In order to protect her In order to take out Jason You just put yourself back in this position For no reason at all And things get even dicier Again, as we get through the day So we'll get there, we'll get there, we'll get there But I just wanted to cue this up For you as we go through the day To sort of help you

[00:18:43] Follow along Why there are some problems That are popping up Even as players are making advances In their strategic game So, Drew talks to Melody After the veto ceremony And they talk a little bit about like Hey, maybe we should start to distance ourselves A little bit Not in the Melody distances herself From Mallory because she's on the block Kind of way But in the like People are starting to talk A lot about us Kind of way

[00:19:11] Rome has asked Drew About having a crush on Melody Taylor is talking about the two of them And how like, well obviously Melody You've got Drew's vote People are starting to talk Like there's a little spark of a showmance here Potentially And it's not just the house either Of course, plenty of people online Are looking at this as well And so they talk about trying to Potentially distance themselves And I can tell you It's not going to actually happen Despite the intention They

[00:19:41] Did a bad job As if anything By the end of the night They're like Being a little flirty And it's relatively public And you know Keep an eye on this In the meantime Mallory and Lyric Are talking about Drew and Melody Oh, Melody needs a showmance with Drew So that she can pull him to our side That would be great And Lyric Says to Mallory

[00:20:10] And you should get one with Barrett Mallory's like No, no No You don't think No I mean I could try But no No Do you? No Mallory does say that she is still A little bit concerned She's a little bit apprehensive About Barrett Because of him lying to her

[00:20:40] Previously I think pretty clearly She Has a little bit of a crush It seems to be the case Based on what she's saying Doesn't really think it's possible But you know When you get encouraged You start to think maybe it's possible But also He outright lied to her About the meeting Up in the HOH room She's very concerned about Where he actually stands in the game And so Not really sure where to go with it

[00:21:12] Sorry Somebody in the chat said Bit of a pipe dream I don't even know if they meant it To be a play on pipe queen But Boy So Angela Dee and Taylor Have a bit of a conversation And this is an important one I think Could be an important one Because As they're talking about the vote This is Angela Dee and Taylor They're talking about the vote They're talking about like Rome is going to go

[00:21:41] They all kind of agree Rome is probably the person That they would Essentially vote out Angela proposes to Taylor Hey We should work together Don't you think? Us three Me You Taylor And Lala Don't you think we should work Maybe work together? And Taylor's like Yeah I think that's a great idea I'd be down for that

[00:22:12] And this is something that That Angela and Dee Of course we're talking about A little bit That I love this for them I think that You know When they spend all their time Talking about Drew And is Drew going to stray And should we target Drew And should we weaken Drew It does nothing for their game But weaken their own position What they should be doing If they have any doubts about Drew Is not trying to antagonize Drew

[00:22:41] But to set up their own Contingency plans To start making more connections Outside of a group That relies on Drew This is a lot more in line With what I'm hoping to see From a player like Dee And from an experienced player like Angela This is a great group to form Because Taylor and Lala Especially now Have been isolated To some degree And they're not super active players Which means if you can pull them

[00:23:11] Into something You might be able to lock them Into something for quite a while Now Are they going to be active enough To maintain this alliance? That's another question That's down to the skill of those players And Is this an alliance that they are Actually safe with? Because Lala and Angela Have a bit of a storied past Those are still questions That have yet to be determined But I do like this a lot And especially I like it

[00:23:41] Because these are great people To go toward the end with Like if I'm Dee and Angela I love Devins Do I want Devins in the final Five, four, three? I don't know He might win out from there And he's a likable guy Do I want Lala Who a lot of people find annoying And maybe is not going to be as good at competitions? Do I want Taylor Who has very few social connections at the moment

[00:24:09] And you know, so far hasn't won anything? I'm a little more inclined to want those two toward the end So this is a great long-term option For the two of Angela and Dee We'll see where it goes But this is interesting stuff for sure So Angela, Dee, we talked about that

[00:24:38] Barrett talks to Jason I just There's a little bit of a snippet of this That I found interesting Because we've been talking a lot about Barrett And how It seems like for the past week or so Especially as a have-not He's been really sort of down In terms of his activity in the game He has been a little more active He was a little more active yesterday Talking to Devins about the Yash Alliance And Working on Mallory more

[00:25:07] Understanding that she might not trust him Because of what happened And And all this stuff And we see even here He's talking to Jason He's doing He's starting to put more work in Which I appreciate from Barrett Though he still Has some things to work through But he talks to Jason about how He loves being here But he is finding the game a bit draining at times And sometimes as a fan He's just like disassociated And And this Really tracks to me, of course We've been talking about it all week long

[00:25:36] I think a huge part of it is being a have-not I think a huge part of it is probably just like The social overload It seems And There's a part of me And this is maybe just kind of going off into Conspiracy land a little bit I think there's a part of it that is like Disappointment in the D situation Maybe I'm fully speculating here Please do not take anything that I'm saying As anywhere near concrete fact But D is going to talk about this later

[00:26:06] That like They had that one long cuddle session Her and Barrett That night we talked about it And then You know He did still occasionally He was like hey D looking really good Like he It seemed like he was still trying to Keep that spark alive a little bit But D according to her Has like shut it down And I'm wondering if like He's kind of Processing that a little bit

[00:26:35] In terms of like Oh I thought maybe there was something there And turns out Maybe not But again That's like deep Speculation here In terms of Where You know Barrett might be feeling a little bit Down on that Now Wendy talked about this According to her She was She actually used the The If you

[00:27:04] If anyone was watching my stream At the start of the season Taylor said that she Was flirting with Barrett initially Because she thought That he was not straight And And then found out he was Oops And And D actually says the same thing To To a bunch of the Like red corner Angela All these people She's like Oh I didn't actually realize that he Was straight And so I didn't want to give him the wrong impression

[00:27:33] So that's why I kind of shut it down Now D did know As far as I'm aware That he was straight at that point So I don't know that this is True from D As much as it might just be kind of like Deflecting either strategically Or just not giving the real personal reason Why she shut it down But But B Is on life support At the moment Is the thing And yes

[00:28:03] I guess You know theoretically Likes women Would maybe be the better Thing for me to say there We As far as we're aware Barrett does in fact like Like women Romantically Because You know people I guess Should generally like women Regardless Anyway That's my deep speculation Territory Barrett does have a conversation

[00:28:32] With Drew And They talk about How How Devin's Drew feels good about About Devin's Where Like Drew again Has talked with Devin's A lot About The three of Drew, Devin's And Barrett Being In The core Of crossovers That there's those three

[00:29:02] And then it was D And Angela And then what like Once they got to The five That those three Would be able to You know Work together As a final three Essentially And Drew is still feeling good about that Now in my opinion He should not Right? His interactions with Devin's Have been Way more awkward Than they were At the start of the game This should be a massive signal To Drew

[00:29:32] That Devin's Is Has strayed From their initial bond They are not connecting At the same level That they were before But Drew Hasn't seemed to recognize that And then of course The biggest signal Ever Should have been this whole Vito situation But Drew Again seemingly Has not Really like Taken that in Yet As like A signal That Devin's Is not quite With them

[00:30:00] So in that sense Devin's has seemingly Kind of Gotten away with it Barrett though agrees He's like Yeah I think the three of us Are in a good spot Barrett has Again been focused On winning Mallory back over And Drew proposes That they Make final two Like an official final two They talk about Naming it later And Barrett agrees He says Drew You're the only person

[00:30:30] I would want to sit with me In the end This obviously makes A decent amount of sense In terms of like Where they're positioned In this crossovers alliance If they were to go To final five In this alliance You You don't really Want to sit next to the vet In the final two Unless something has gone Really wrong for those vets So they Agree to their final two And they later Talk about

[00:31:00] Sort of like The hierarchy of this Toolshed alliance Drew in particular Who is just Really genuinely loyal To the crossovers Is actually hoping That Somebody from the other side Will win HOH And take a shot At the tool shed Because He doesn't love The red corner Group He wants the crossovers To make it to the end But he actually He would love it If a shot got taken At these cross At these

[00:31:30] At these The red corner people He does not want to go To final eight With all three Of Haley Chuck And Kamu Now we know That Drew has a sneaky Final two Kind of situation With Kamu I'm assuming That In his mind He would be hoping That the shot gets taken At Haley Or Chuck In part because That would give Kamu Fewer options Moving forward And force him to rely on Drew a bit more So obviously This is pretty heavily In Drew's

[00:31:59] In Drew's interests Barrett kind of agrees With him though Like He wouldn't mind The red corner Taking a hit here And And You know Before you start to think Well Barrett did call Drew a little Dr. Will Is that Was that maybe him Trying to put a target On Drew to Angela I don't think so I think he genuinely Meant it like Playfully Because he says it To Drew's face As well He's like You're like Dr. Drew Get it?

[00:32:30] Dr. Dr. Drew Um Barrett tells Drew The Uh The list Of his priority Uh His priority list Within the Crossovers He says Drew's number one Devins is number two Angela's number three D is number four For Barrett Uh Which Again Interesting list Uh And they specifically Talk about Angela

[00:33:00] And Drew says That he has No intention Of betraying Angela Uh He Fully thinks That Angela Is riding With them And wants To ride With her Uh And Again I mean You know This is Good information In terms of like The Positioning That Drew Has Or thinks he Has And the Intentions That Drew Has Uh But it's A bad Read From Drew

[00:33:29] He Of course Does not Have Angela In Any Sense Not only Is Angela Talking about Wanting to Nominate Drew As a Pawn But Later on She's Going to Talk about She's already Fantasizing About how Later in the Game She's Going to Backdoor Drew She's Going to Give a Big Dramatic Speech Uh And it's Just like Drew Does not See it Yet

[00:33:59] Uh We'll see If he Eventually Does But Uh He He Very Much Like Likes Angela Wants To ride With her Uh And Seemingly Has no Intention Of Betraying Her At This Point In The Game So We'll Keep Tracking How Long That Lasts Over Time Um Drew And Barrett Do Talk To Dee And Uh And Drew Talks Again About Sort Of Like Yeah I Don't Know If I Could Date Melody Uh But Again Kind Of Falls Flat In

[00:34:45] Two Two To To To To You Know They're No They're No Roman Lyric You Know They Can't Commit To To Trash Talking One Another Um D Teases Barrett About Mallory You Can Start To See Where I'm Coming Up With My Speculations Like Oh Well Barrett What About Mallory How Are Feeling About Mallory And Barrett's Like No No There's Not Anything There With Mallory

[00:35:16] Um So Uh Speaking Of Mallory She Is Talking With Melody And Uh And The Two Of Them You Know Melody In Particular Is Is Kind Of Like What Did Lyric Promise Devins Like I Was Up There Promising Him A Lot Like What Could Lyric Have Possibly Promised Devins And Melody Kind Of Knows Maybe She Forgot But Uh You Know Devins Basically Told Her It Was It Wasn't Just Lyric Pitch It Was The Fact That

[00:35:46] Lyric Came With Rome That Was So Enticing To Him Um So This Is Either Melody Again Like Not Really Remembering That Part Of The Conversation Or Maybe Intentionally Being Like Lyric Um This Is Where Also Uh Angela Is Going To Talk To Devins And Tell him About Her Fantasies About Back He Is Wary Of Him But Devins Does Bring Up He Says

[00:36:16] You Know I Don't Know That We Should Backdoor Him In The Future And To Be Clear This Is Down The Line Not Like Next Week Where She Talked About Wanting To Use Him As Pawn This Is A Separate Incident This Is Like Angela Has One H.O.H.H. Next week Used Drew As A Says I Don't Know That We Should Get Rid Of Drew I Feel Like He Is A Great

[00:36:46] Person To Bring To The End Because The Jury Is Bound To Feel Betrayed By Him With You I And I Don't Disagree With Her In That Is

[00:37:15] I I Don't Disagree To Have As Many Connections As Can So Big Brother I Think Has A Little Bit More Leeway For The Amount Of kind of gameplay, I don't think

[00:37:44] that it's going to... It has the same impact as it does on Survivor. I do agree with Angela here. Yeah, people in the chat mentioning Vince. Of course, Vince wasn't burned because he had too many connections. Vince was burned because he just never stopped lying to them and gaslighting them, even after getting caught. And, you know, just could never own... Well, it's not that he didn't own it, but he just

[00:38:14] could not stop trying to lie to them and make them feel foolish. It's very different, right? If you work with many people... And people talk about Tyler, too. They talk about like, oh, well, Tyler had too many connections. I've been on the record about this many, many times. That Tyler did not lose because of all of his final twos. Tyler got the votes of all of his final twos. He lost because of the votes of the people he didn't connect with

[00:38:42] and didn't make those deals with. So, anyway. Rome is going to talk to Taylor because Rome is on the campaign trail. Rome is on the campaign trail. He genuinely thinks he has a shot to stay with the votes if it comes down to it, if he doesn't win the blockbuster, but he plans to win the blockbuster. And when he talks to Taylor, he's talking about

[00:39:11] trying to get her vote. And she kind of lets him know like, hey, just so you know, I've been hearing that anybody sitting next to Melody gets evicted. And he's like, oh, that's... I don't know about that. I don't know about that. Um... Rome has talked to Lyric about the Melody situation.

[00:39:40] They feel like they could get the votes, but Drew is the problem because obviously Drew would be a vote for Melody. But they still think it's doable. And it hasn't sort of pinned them against Drew in any significant way. Um... I'd be curious because again, I think that Rome feels he really still has the backing of some people that he just doesn't quite at this point. So, um... I think the the more Rome recognizes

[00:40:09] his dire status in the House, if he does eventually start to recognize it with people like Taylor trying to clue him in on it, uh... the more we might start to get a heavier campaign from him. But for now, he's feeling relatively comfortable. Uh... Which, um... he really shouldn't. Uh... Haley, Dee, and Angela talk for a bit. And this is another thing I'm gonna put a little flag on because Haley kind of doesn't

[00:40:38] want Jason to go. She's... she's happy to vote out Rome. But... which... because that also means that Jason stays. But she also doesn't love Melody. She's been completely talked into not, uh... trusting Drew by Dee and Angela and loves the idea of weakening Drew like they have sort of convinced her into thinking. Uh... But also just, like, doesn't really want Jason to go. She's been having conversations with Jason. Uh...

[00:41:08] Jason has basically been doing his pitch of I'll be your minion kind of thing. He's been doing it on Haley, Angela, and Devin's primarily. Uh... And Haley's been sort of swayed by parts of it. And so she actually pitches to Dee and Angela. This could have been very... very dangerous in terms of flipping this vote. Uh... She says that she's been thinking maybe they should evict Melody. Dee and Angela both shut this down.

[00:41:39] Uh... Remember, Dee pitched it to Angela briefly. Angela shut it down. Then Haley pitches it to Dee and Angela. They both shut it down. So... You know... It's out there. There are multiple people in this group that are thinking about this. And even though it's being shut down now, that does not mean that it will continue to be shut down. But, for now, it was shut down. Just keep in mind that knowing that

[00:42:08] Haley is down for this could really embolden Dee to push harder. Angela and her fantasies about backdooring Drew could start thinking about that. Plus, her desire to potentially work with Jason in the future if he can keep working on her. If all three of these people start to think about this, then they might feel like they have enough push to maybe try to grab Devin's. And once they've got Devin's, now all of a sudden

[00:42:37] they've got some more push. Maybe Haley can try to pull Chuck. And the ball can start to roll. And further than that, remember what I queued up before. The vote situation where Melody already doesn't have a ton of votes from the other side against Jason in the eviction vote. Given that Angela and Dee are trying to start this alliance with Lala and Taylor,

[00:43:07] what happens if Lala and Taylor, and I'm not saying this will happen, but what happens if they recognize we can keep Jason next to Melody? We want to keep Jason next to Melody and we can do it because the votes are there. We have Rome, we have Lyric, we have whoever else. And all we need, Dee and Angela, what are your two votes? You're in an alliance with us now, right?

[00:43:39] You're going to vote with us? Obviously they can't unless they have the backing of their entire alliance. What if they fail to get the backing of their entire alliance? Maybe they don't even want it. Now they've created this alliance, but they're not able to vote with the alliance at the very first vote and it wrecks this four-person group that was so great for them. I don't like that. And it's another reason why I don't like Melody on the block

[00:44:08] because it would be so much easier to navigate this situation if Lyric were on the block. They would not find themselves in a situation where they need to expose themselves in a vote to protect Melody who they don't even have a relationship with at this point. They shouldn't have to protect Melody, but they kind of need to vote out Jason for multiple reasons or might need to. Even just to blend in with the house, they're caught between two

[00:44:38] potential sides. They could be caught between two potential sides. Again, I'm talking about theoreticals and as I mentioned on the round table last night, it's not like this is game ending stuff necessarily. It's just there are so many things that this move, the veto move, has opened themselves up to, that they have opened themselves up to with this move that could potentially just completely blow up in their face. It doesn't mean it will, it's just like I keep finding things that are like, this is another reason why

[00:45:08] that was a bad move. This is another reason why that was a bad move. Let's see, Taylor does talk to Lala about the Dee and Angela alliance. It's been pitched to Lala now as well. And Lala says that she's down. She said yes, that she's down for it. They both agree this is a good idea, that they should go into this alliance. However, Taylor does make sure to mention like we still don't really rock with Angela.

[00:45:40] Like we're still like we're still going to take down Angela when we need to, right? And Lala's like, yeah, I mean, when I talked to Angela, she's like, I don't even expect to win this game. And they were like, great, because she's not. I actually don't think that's super important. I think just getting into this group with them to help prevent them from targeting her or talking too bad about her for a little while is all they really need. It's not like

[00:46:09] Taylor and Lala are power players at the moment. So if long term, they're still looking at Angela, it's not that big of a deal at this point, especially because there's plenty of time for that to change. But I did think it was funny. Just to keep you guys updated on the fact that Lala is still looking at Angela, at least in some capacity. We get later into the night. And people are all over this.

[00:46:39] There's a bit of some rowdiness going on. And there was some sort of, I would say, encouraged flirting between Kamu and Haley. Some not quite kisses, but some leaned in stuff. It's playful. It's like a group setting. But again, we really are doing a little bit of Love

[00:47:09] Island here on this cast. This is when Dee talks about Barrett as well a bit later in that whole get together, that gathering. something worth noting, of course, is that now that Dee and Angela have made this alliance with Taylor and Lala, they've been talking with Haley about wanting Haley to win the HOH. This is a big, big topic.

[00:47:38] All of the crossovers, all the people really in Toolshed in general, have all been like, we want Haley to win the HOH. And even Haley is like, I want me to win the HOH. Haley's like, I don't want Barrett or Drew to have to win because I don't want them to expose their position. I want to take a shot. And who does she want to take a shot on? Lala. She doesn't like her.

[00:48:08] A lot of people don't like Lala. And Haley loves to talk about Lala. She loves to talk about taking a shot about Lala. Haley likes fantasizing about taking a shot at Lala as much as Angela fantasizes about taking a shot at Drew. Except it's a lot more short-term. She really wants to take that shot at Lala. But now Dee and Angela have just made this alliance with Lala. And so before they'd been encouraging Haley, win HOH, target Lala, do whatever you want. But now when she's

[00:48:38] talking about Lala, Dee and Angela are like, do we need to take a shot at Lala? Is that the best idea? I actually am not sure. I'm not sure about this. Maybe, I mean, is Lala worth a shot? He's like, who else am I shooting? Like, what about Melody Mallory Lyric? What about that little crew? He's like, I don't know. Is that worth taking a shot? I feel like Lala.

[00:49:09] So stay looking at this. This is some interesting stuff. Because Haley is theoretically a pretty likely HOH winner, considering so many people want to throw it to her. It very nearly happened this week. It could very nearly happen again in the future. And so this tension of her potentially wanting to go after Lala, Dee and Angela now trying to potentially protect Lala, could be something that continues forward.

[00:49:38] What else? What else? Angela talks with this group, which includes Kamu and many of the Red Corner people, talking about the cookout and how they all have their own people. Kamu is interested in that idea. Kamu starts to talk about we can be taking shots that the other people can't. People love to talk about this when they're in the house, especially if they're new to the strategy. Oh, this is a great idea.

[00:50:08] You could take shots that I can't. I can take shots that you can't. For instance, you guys can take a shot at Melody, whereas Drew and I can't take a shot at Melody. And so on and so forth. So, you know, just further sort of like reinforcing this whole group. Kamu does talk to Haley one-on-one later, and she talks to him about wanting Jason to stay.

[00:50:38] But Kamu, of course, is not quite on the keep on the get rid of Melody train at this point either. But Haley hasn't been completely talked out of the idea of maybe voting out Melody. It's just that nobody agrees with her at this point. They do, however, talk about going to the final two together, Kamu and Haley. Haley's been talking to Chuck a lot lately, but the Kamu-Haley initial alliance slash

[00:51:08] flirtation, maybe you could call it, did seem to be the stronger one earlier in the season. It seems like that is still probably the case, especially with their most recent brush with flirtation. They have sort of reignited that strategic spark as well. So they are talking about that final two situation. I mean, Kamu continuing to play pretty well in general, especially with this renewed connection to Haley. as long as long as

[00:51:38] she remains a target in front of him, that's pretty great for him. And obviously Haley would be a phenomenal person to actually bring to the final two, considering how few people enjoy her presence in the house. Late into the night, Rome and Lyric in between their mushing-ness do manage to eke out a little bit of strategy where Lyric confirms to Rome that she would vote Jason

[00:52:06] to stay over Melody, which is just again, further bad news for Melody and further bad news for the crossovers if they intend to keep Melody over Jason because it again means that they might need to expose themselves a little bit in order to make that vote happen. But that is about where we leave off the night here. The main points for me

[00:52:35] are we have this sort of new Yash Devins Drew Barrett potential alliance that could be incredibly valuable to really all four of those men. And then on the other side of things, we have an all-women's thing happening of Dee, Angela, Taylor, and Lala, which could also be incredibly valuable to those four women if they move forward in the game and manage to keep that together.

[00:53:04] I don't think either group of four seems super, super invested in making sure that those things stay solid. However, one of those things is currently still relatively secret and the other is not. and that is also interesting to keep track of. But, again, those things could be either useful or a pain point when it comes to this upcoming vote. And that's the other big thing happening throughout

[00:53:34] the day, which is that Melody and her position in the game, especially if she's up against Jason in a vote, is looking still okay, but tenuous. There are a lot of people who are willing to vote her out, that want to vote her out, and the thing holding her on is, she's, it's like, she's holding on by a string here. It's just like, by the whims of

[00:54:03] Angela not agreeing with Dee initially, Melody has held on, but it's only Tuesday. Like, we have a whole day today, and we have a whole day tomorrow, until Thursday. And that is a lot of time for there to be this much talk about potentially voting Melody out already. So, very much stay on the lookout for that.

[00:54:33] That is what I am going to be tracking, I think, most, for the most part here, moving forward, as well as, obviously, the rest of this stuff going on. Any questions in the chat before we wrap up here for our update on yesterday, which was Monday? By the way, check out my Patreon. It's great over there. I'm doing live streams, we're doing feed watches,

[00:55:02] episode watches, I'm watching other shows, and I very much appreciate the support from the audience on my Patreon. I really, really am enjoying being there. It's a really great community that we're building, and I love it. So, it's been my passion, especially in the off-season, but I'm really enjoying it during the season as well. So, check it out if you haven't already. I really,

[00:55:32] really do appreciate those that have and those that will. Let's see, where would the seventh vote to evict Melody come from? I do think that at the end of the day, Dee and Angela have to be on board with voting out Melody in order for it to happen. So, the question is, you know, really, like, can they get enough buy-in from the rest of the group to allow them to do this? And that is going to be difficult, but they do have a lot

[00:56:01] of sway, especially if Haley's already on board, and if they're able to get Devins to back down, the real question is, like, can they do the opposite? Can they get, you know, Lala and Taylor to get on board so that they don't get in trouble if they don't do it? Patreon is great. Thank you, Ash. Was Angela on the hunt for who said she was the ringleader or not? I wouldn't say she was on the hunt as much as it came up in

[00:56:31] conversation and she asked about it. So, I don't think it's like a major, thing for her at the moment. Does Dee really think that Drew lied about Mallory hating her? I mean, it's hard to say what Dee really thinks, but I do think that she is skeptical of some of the information that Drew brings. But she is taking it as fact that Mallory is coming after her. Barrett has confirmed that Mallory is

[00:57:01] still talking about her and stuff like that. So, it's public knowledge that that's going on. For whatever reason, they're just not super concerned about it, where they really should be. Because Mallory, if she wins and she's perfectly capable of winning, has a great chance of just throwing up all three vets, which would be devastating for their games. People, especially because they're potentially going to get powers, people are very scared of the vets. But,

[00:57:30] nothing humbles people more than one, two, three on the nomination chairs. That's pretty devastating. Who would Yash nominate honestly at this point? Anybody. If Devin's, Drew, and Barrett are able to rein him in, they would likely have a lot of influence. But Yash continues to mostly just tell people what they want to hear and doesn't, I think, have a solid game plan moving forward. How does Drew recover from all the impending doom surrounding him?

[00:58:00] He needs to completely, he needs to sort of choose a track, in my opinion. He needs to either, like, think about, again, the Tyler situation on season 20. There was this initial dynamic of Tyler was the double agent a little bit at first, and then he swapped with Brett, and then Brett started being more double agent while Tyler focused on the hierarchy of

[00:58:29] level six. If Drew decides to start focusing on the hierarchy of the crossovers and the red corner, which he does have the pieces to do considering his connection to Kamu, he's got a great relationship with Barrett, I think he just needs to work more on his relationship with Evans. I think that's the key for him there. I think he can start to smooth some of that over. Or, the other option for him is just dive in even deeper with the other side. If they're going to suspect that he's going to turn on them, he might as

[00:58:59] well just actually turn on them. I think that trying to continue the path he's on where he's a little bit in the middle there is not going to work out long-term considering the said impending doom. Who is targeting Angela specifically? I would say nobody. I don't think anybody's particularly targeting Angela. Even the people that don't love her in the house don't see her as a threat enough to target here. So, she's looking

[00:59:29] pretty decent. Does Devins really think Rome Lyric will keep up their deal? I think he does. I think he does believe it. I think he hedged a little bit. He even said after the veto ceremony, I don't think I'm good at strategy. I'm just here to make big moves. But I think that he said it himself after he talked to Lyric. He's like, why do I believe her? I think he does believe it. Let's see,

[00:59:59] what else? What kind of pitches should Melody make to improve her chances? There's really not much Melody can say at this point. She hasn't already said. I do think that Melody could do a better job of keeping Lyric on board, keeping Mallory on board. Mallory is an important vote here for her. She has these conversations with the Littles and they talk like they're good, but I don't think she's done enough to lock them in, especially

[01:00:28] after that whole debacle of distancing herself from Mallory in the first week. I think she could do better there. Who would Yash evict in a Melody versus Jason vote? Right now he's telling Devens that he's evicting Jason. Though he has said in the past that he wants to evict Melody and he's talked with Devens about how he doesn't trust Melody much. He said to Devens that he would be willing to vote out Jason, that he is voting out Jason. But again, I don't think Yash is tied to

[01:00:58] any one particular thing. Who would I like most to see as the next week's HOH? Honestly, I would love, like if Jason survives, I would love a Jason HOH. I think that would be very interesting. I for sure want, in terms of my own viewing experience, for somebody outside of the tool shed to win. Because they're likely going to be getting powers anyway, and I really want to see their structure tested.

[01:01:27] if they're good players, they should be fine. And if they're not, and these mistakes have cost them, then there's a little bit of comeuppance that happens. I think that would be fun to watch, but we'll see. How good is Rick's position in the house after this week? I think there are potential dangers, but nothing serious has popped up yet. I think the damage that could have been done to Rick's game this week is yet to be seen. I think

[01:01:56] that he's still in power right now. There's still not a lot of talk about anything. We'll find out once he's out of power. People start thinking about how he won both HOH and Vito, might have a power, went back on his word, then tried to make a deal. Those are things that are more likely to pop up into people's brains after the fact. We saw last week it looks like D's been doing pretty well, but we'll see how it turns out next week. The following week it turns out

[01:02:25] it did go pretty well for D. She retains a lot of those relationships. The question is, is Devin's going to be able to do the same? I think it's definitely looking worse for Devin's than it did for D, but not guaranteed. what else? What else? What else? I think we're about done here. That's

[01:02:55] about what I got. Yeah, that's about what I got for today's update. Thank you all so much for joining. I will, of course, have, I'll be doing a podcast with Rob for the patrons of Rob as a podcast. We released it publicly last week. I'm not sure if we're doing that again this week, but I believe it will be a future patron exclusive podcast. We answer some questions from the audience, mailbag, and we also have been assigning win equity to the players, which is different from

[01:03:25] the Stock Watch, but also very fun. So check that out. I'll be live tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern, of course, to update you on everything that happens today on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. I will also be live again on my Patreon, Twitch, and YouTube tomorrow night watching the episode and all kinds of other nonsense. That's what I got for you. Thank you all so much for joining me here today. I hope you enjoyed our journey, our solo journey today through the Big Brother 28 house, and I will

[01:03:54] see all of you next time.
