BB28 Tuesday Live Feed Update August 11, 2026 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 is all about shifting targets and fragile trust as the house navigates the aftermath of the latest Veto ceremony. Taran Armstrong sets the stage for a day packed with alliance whispers, strategy talk, and shifting social alliances. This episode features […]

[00:00:11] Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the strategy and silliness from CO2 HOA Every single season, you know he is the reason You know what's half Rob said that he could do it Tomorrow he will do it again

[00:00:41] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for August 11. I'm your host Aaron Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 Live Feeds. It was day 35 in the house and we had a veto ceremony and we had a very slow day otherwise

[00:01:08] but kind of a packed night as things really started to heat up in terms of where the target is starting to be aimed. So plenty to talk about there and with me to talk about it is Mike. How you doing Mike? Taryn, I am thrilled to be back here talking about some people with a chip on their shoulder. I'm not talking about Ricky Rotandi covered in Doritos. I guess not, yes.

[00:01:35] I mean, listen, we all love to keep ourselves busy in the Big Brother house but how would you have felt if you were in the middle of, you know, catching 40 winks and you found yourself covered in flavored corn chips? I mean, like Autumn before me, I would be quite upset if I got caught in a pet with chips. Especially knowing people immediately burst out laughing upon doing it.

[00:02:01] Now listen, of all the people to prank, I feel like Rick Devins is probably on the top of the list of those who will quite easily get over it the next day. But regardless, yeah, not the best thing to wake up to. Perhaps second only to being carried out of the HOH room to go up and form a new alliance called the Tool Shed. So I guess there's worse things you could roll over and see in your life. Perhaps, perhaps. All right, well, let's get into the day here. Of course, as you know, Lala is the HOH Barrett.

[00:02:29] Chuck and Haley on the block. Haley is the target. Kamu won the veto. He plans not to use it. I'm not going to keep you in the zero suspense that there is. Kamu is not going to be using this veto. He basically tells Haley and Chuck and Drew all in the morning he still is not planning to use it. And he still does not use it. So Barrett, Chuck and Haley will be facing off in the blockbuster on Thursday.

[00:02:53] And if I'm wrong here, Taryn, this might be the second or third time in the blockbuster era that the veto has not been used when there are three people on the block. I think it I think it might be number three. But yeah, it's very, very few times that the veto has not been used. And in the first time this season. Yeah, I mean, it's interesting, right? Because you would imagine, yes, with one more nominee on the block that increases the chances by quite literally a six to get that use.

[00:03:21] But I feel like we've also seen the veto get used on nominees a good number of times as well. Do you think there's a particular reason for that? Is there just something in the water the past few seasons that's made people feel like, hey, I'm safe for the week, but I'm going to save someone else as well? Well, I think the idea of backdooring somebody is more appealing when they otherwise would have two chances now to save themselves to be the backdoor plan, I think, is a little more often used.

[00:03:50] Then you have the fact that like with three nominees, not only are one of them more likely to win it, as you said, but but they also have a higher chance of getting to pick somebody themselves to play in the veto. Given that the house guest choice chip is no longer just a house guest choice chip, it's just the player's name. So if the nominee gets drawn and there's three of them, then they get to pick who they want and the person they pick is more likely to use it on them.

[00:04:19] So there's I think a lot of factors that that come into it. And you say that on paper, but Chuck is quite in his field about the fact that, you know, much like Jamaica, right, it was preordained that he'd pick Kamu's chip and you think that would mean something. But alas, you know, Kamu really had to show his allegiance. I think that if he did use the veto here, it'd be way too cute by half not to compare the situation to what was going on a couple of weeks ago.

[00:04:47] But I feel like we are seeing a bit of a similar persona non grata situation with Haley and Chuck by association. And for Kamu, from a Lala perspective, if you are professing with each and every breath, I don't know these people anymore. I won't work with them so long as we're, you know, sharing the same breath in the house. Use a veto on them. That's going to all get shot to sunshine.

[00:05:08] And so as much as Kamu is still trying to beat the drum that morning of like, listen, Haley, you have, you know, you each have a chance of surviving not only the blockbuster, but the vote as well. Both of them have seen the writing on every single wall that exists in the house. And it's going to continue the rather morose moods that the two of them are going to be in rather than campaigning in the immediate aftermath. Yes.

[00:05:35] To be clear, they both did make pitches, Haley, especially if to try to continue to get Kamu to use the veto just didn't really work. Beyond that, neither of them are doing much campaigning to the other house guests. They've been pretty isolated socially and they're still kind of reeling from the situation, sort of slowly dawning on them that they're probably in a lot of trouble against Barrett in a vote.

[00:06:03] And so we do get some funny moments with Taylor trying to encourage Chuck to campaign and tell him like, you can't just say you're a shield. That's what everyone says. Nobody's just a shield. But it doesn't really land. Like it doesn't really do much after that.

[00:06:24] Yeah. Yeah. I loved this conversation between Taylor and Chuck because I do feel like Taylor's bluntness works to a certain aspect. And I feel like she is one of these rare house guests who like says what a lot of us are saying online, but can never get communicated by individuals where, yeah, the two of them are talking in the bathroom. And Taylor's basically like, OK, Chuck, what are you going to talk to people about when you're campaigning to stay? You know, who would you put up if you're winning HOH?

[00:06:51] And Chuck continues to go on his, you know, frickin fill a Chuckster and be like, well, there's a lot of different circumstances. Like, nope, wrong name a name. You haven't watched the show before. And Chuck's like, excuse me, Taylor. I've watched quite a few Corey Brooks fan cams. I think I know a thing or two about playing big brother. I have a lot of intel that a lot of people are going to want to know. So don't you worry. There's a lot of secrets in this hat. Yes. She's like, I think it's the hat.

[00:07:21] I think the hat is too tight on his head. Oh, my God. This might be a hot take, Taryn, because I think that, you know, Haley has certainly shown more of a good TV capacity, certainly last week. Like, it depends on what she's going to do in these next few days. But I am low key thinking if I'm to take the way she's been acting the past 24 hours into account. A couple of weeks ago, when you and I were on the eviction recap with about Jason's boot,

[00:07:51] I had said that, like, honestly, it might have been better for him to go at that point, because if he came back, he would have just continued to be a target, would have contained to be isolated. The story wouldn't have really moved on from him. I'm kind of starting to feel the same way about Haley. I feel like we've heard so many times since the veto competition about her being like, I'm OK if I go, I'd be fine if I stay. But like, it is what it is. And not to say that, like, Chuck is begging and pleading to stay,

[00:08:17] considering that he had said at one point that people stopped watching the show conveniently at the point where he may leave the game. But I feel like no matter who you are, from my perspective, to quote, you know, another survivor legend who played, if you want to quit, quit. If you're just going to sit there and be miserable and not make actively entertaining television, or at least be actively gaming, then maybe you're not necessarily taking up the spot in the house that we want. Yeah, you know, I've had that thought too.

[00:08:47] Like, if she's just going to maintain this status as, like, house target, there's not, like, a ton of point in her staying. But she does still, like, weirdly have relationships. We're a little bit off the timeline here, mostly because the front part of the day was very sparse. But there were plenty of conversations talking about, like, Angela and Dee feeling a little bit bad for Haley,

[00:09:14] Kamu telling Drew late into the night that he feels closer to Haley than he does to Chuck, and that he'd have trouble putting Haley on the block if she were to stay. She does still have some of these relationships that existed before that could rekindle. Whereas, like, as you mentioned, like, the Jason example, like, he had kind of lost his closest people already and would have had to lose another one even if he had stayed. So it's like, you know, that was a little tougher.

[00:09:42] But there is actually a world where Haley gets back in with some people, especially if she's, because, like, I pointed this out the other night, that, like, this was always Haley's destiny. She was built in a lab to be the scapegoat for a bunch of players in the house to win an HOH, take out a target for them, and then be thrown under the bus. Infused with peptides, a rare strain of HOH-itis all mixed together.

[00:10:09] Right, but if she survives the throwing under the bus, she kind of quickly becomes, like, that person that's just kind of like, she's not winning. She's by herself. She's been defanged and could easily find herself just kind of, like, hanging on for a while. Now, she's Haley. So, like, you know, she might not be satisfied with that. She might be doing stuff.

[00:10:39] And that's why, you know, the hope is that she would do that stuff. But there's always a chance that it just kind of, it happens all the time. Somebody gets defanged. I always think about, Sabrina is the example that comes to my mind so often from Big Brother Canada, too, who, like, ran the house with an iron fist for half the season in the first five. And then as soon as the first five gets blown up, she just becomes this person that gets dragged along to the end and has no power anymore.

[00:11:07] And somebody who was such a great character becomes such an unfortunate kind of, like, non-presence in the house, despite her sound bites of wanting good TV. I mean, dare I say, vibes of Angela from Big Brother 26? Sure. Yeah, I mean, less time running the house, but yeah. I mean, listen, I will take the smallest Barbie-sized hand and pat myself on the back because when you and I talked last, Taran Armstrong, I had thrown out this cockamamie theory

[00:11:36] that Haley was a younger version of Angela and not only did it become more apparent, I think that's one of the biggest reasons why it led to the demise between these two for now in that Angela immediately proved that you think you can victimize yourself. I invented this, okay? You can't take this away from me. I'm the one that can claim victim the most in this house. And I think it goes to show how when a lot of people talk about, I would hate myself if I met myself in my 20s. You know, like,

[00:12:05] I was a completely different person back then. Maybe the follow-up between these two shows that concept first and foremost. Maybe. All right, well, back to the chronological a little bit here. Dee and Yash have a brief conversation where they talk about the Wolf Pack and how the four of them, Devins and Kamu with the two of them, can really, like, do some damage, run this house. Obviously, we know that there's, like,

[00:12:32] a little bit of tension here. Yash targeting Dee a little bit. Dee not quite targeting Yash, but suspicious of his influence over Kamu. But this conversation, I think, goes a long way for at least Yash toward Dee. Not as much Dee, or sorry, Dee toward Yash, not as much Yash toward Dee. Um, whereas Yash is still targeting the icons, but Dee feels sort of even better about Yash,

[00:13:01] I think, after this conversation. So Dee doing a good job of keeping up the facade of not being after the icons, using the Wolf Pack excuse. Um, Yash, in the meantime, spends much of the day planting some seeds, one of which is with Mallory. Um, and this is exactly where the Yash, Taylor, Lala group needs to go if they actually want to do damage against the vets. And not only do they need to go here, uh,

[00:13:30] because these are the only people that will actually go after the vets, but it's also useful just to get them talking anti-vet. Because right now, Taylor and Lala are the only people being caught doing that, uh, and, and being targeted from the vets. And if they can get Mallory and Malady to start talking about the vets, it would help them out a bit to, to spread that target around. So, Yash talks to Mallory. They are cautious of one another at first, it's pretty clear. But Yash starts very, I think,

[00:14:00] very carefully planting that like, I've just, I've heard it around that the icons are being targeted. Um, and Mallory has a pretty good response to that. Like, oh, really? Like that's, that sounds pretty good. And he's like, oh, good, good, good. Because I'm a little worried about them too, just a little bit. Uh, and they agree that the pod room should work together. The vets have had their chance. We don't, they don't need to be, and this is a common line throughout the day

[00:14:29] that Evans has played survivor twice. Dee played survivor twice. And one, Angela played big brother before. This is our season. We should have our first chance. Uh, and they, they don't need to be here. Yeah. Uh, first off, Yash, so significant growth. Look at you talking strategy with a woman. I don't think any of us thought Yash of the first two weeks, July Yash would have been able to do this, but I love this conversation. I think that especially if we're talking about, you know,

[00:14:56] the fact for that Mallory is the one to float this out to, considering that drew and Barrett, as we'll talk about voluminously throughout the course of the day, very well connected with the vets and melody. One of the reasons why she's kept is because I think, uh, you know, the vet certainly thought that she would be pointed towards the Chuck, Haley, Kamu side of things rather than towards themselves, which has been validated up to this point. I think that Mallory not only is the great default choice, but also again,

[00:15:24] the person who has been perhaps talking the most about going to a vet, going after a vet in particular, one vet that I think that this, and we'll talk about this later when it's more of a group conversation. This is the perfect time to, I think, start at least floating this idea out here. Not only is this the first time that someone from the outside, quote unquote, of the former tool shed is in power, but we're starting to get to jury. You know, we're starting to talk about what things you would consider in a group that

[00:15:54] you want to see in the end game here. And that brings up a really interesting question, Taryn, because we're approaching the halfway point of the season. And obviously a lot can change in between now and a little less than two months, but I'd love to get your temperature right now. How anti icon do you think this jury could be? If it is an icon and a newbie sitting at the end, there's a lot of factors that I can obviously come into play. But do you think these things that Yasha and Mallory are going to be talking

[00:16:23] about could come into consideration? I, I don't think it's going to be that bad personally. I think that there is a lot of this talk happening, but a lot of it is focused strategically more so than like personally, in my opinion, this kind of talk happens anytime there's ever a vet. There's always this statement, this feeling of like, Hey, it's our turn. They've had their chance. Um, but like,

[00:16:52] I've seen it considerably worse in the past, right? Like, uh, we, we are not getting packed. We are not getting like, uh, no, they should never win this game. They talked about like, there have been some conversations about like, would we vote for them to win? Um, and the answer was mostly like, yeah, we would if they deserved it. Um, and like, if it were a vet and a newbie and they played equal games, I'd give it to the newbie.

[00:17:20] But if the vet played really well, I would give it to the vet. Um, and, and I think that will likely stand, especially as the season goes on, especially as like, you know, more and more happens. Uh, you're in the jury house. It no longer feels like it's your season anymore. Like, uh, there are various ways for this to, to kind of continue to, to roll forward. Not to mention the fact that like, it's unlikely that a vet gets there against a new player that played well enough to match up, to hold up to the vet. You know,

[00:17:50] they're either going to be up against another vet or like Lala, you know, like it's, yeah. Yeah. I think that's the big thing is that as much as we always love to go back to Brittany's, one of her many iconic quotes about how a bottle of ketchup would have won against Dan Giesling in the end. Like Ian did have a story. Ian had a fairly stacked resume, especially towards the latter half of the game. Ian had this underdog narrative quite literally. And so I think that if another type of hold a bottle of ketchup behind his back,

[00:18:19] which helped a lot. Exactly. And really nailing the metaphor home, trying to just, I think check all the boxes he possibly could. But I think it's like, maybe it would have been different if it was Dan versus a gen city as an example. And so, yeah, I agree that I think it's, incorrect to broad brush it right now. And even if we're looking at post BB 14, these mixed situations, you know, being a returnee certainly didn't hurt Nicole against Paul. I wouldn't say that Paul lost BB 19 because he was a returnee. I think that these situations,

[00:18:48] as much as we saw it happen, apparently one very significant time. I don't think it plays as much of a factor as you may think. I think this serves as a nice philosophy to unite these people, but these people also have their own perspectives and relationships with each of these vets that I don't think first and foremost, when they look at them sitting in those final two chairs, the first thing they're going to think is, well, they've already been on another CBS reality show and I can't let them have another crack at the money. Yeah. Yeah. And,

[00:19:18] and, and the thing here too, is that like, you know, yes, Paul loses to Josh. That was for very obvious reasons. As you said, Nicole beats Paul also for obvious reasons, but also there were other vets in the, in the jury, notably Dave Vaughn, who ended up being pro Nicole. Uh, in 14, again, the circumstances were quite different. There was only one vet in the jury that time. And that, you know,

[00:19:47] Brittany had no interest in defending Dan's honor that much. Uh, maybe if there were more vets that would have helped, but also again, those circumstances, the fact that they were coaches, we've talked about this a lot, but like, uh, the circumstances of that season were so specific that the coaches entered the game at a certain time. Uh, they weren't supposed to be there was the feeling. Um, and, and that's just not the vibe of this season by any means. Again, comparatively, uh, when it's,

[00:20:17] when it's a distinctly anti vet atmosphere, like you'll know it, they're talking about it. They're, they're promising each other. We're never going to let a vet win. Um, and the fact that there's likely going to be at least one or two vets on the jury, uh, is also going to help, uh, the idea that they're, they're going to be fine. I think in a final two. Yeah. I think, uh, we even speak about the season before 14 with Rachel winning BB 13. I mean,

[00:20:46] that was a jury that was very returnee filled. It gets talked about a lot. And unfortunately, uh, not enough because it's unseen, but like the vibe of that jury house can dictate a lot as well. And like, let's say, you know, D gets rid of Devin's at one point, unless Devin's feels incredibly burn spicy V style. He has good enough relationships with that possible jury that if he talks up D's game, that's going to help significantly. And so just like anything, whether newbie or vet,

[00:21:15] it's going to come down to the people you put into that jury house and how you make them feel in the process. That could determine no matter how many days you played on an Island or in a house, whether or not you need that money. Yes. I'm not giving up. I am selling the building. The final season of FX is the bear. The restaurant is flooded. Everything's either going to be okay.

[00:21:46] Or not. We are outgunned and we are outmanned, but we have each other. FX is the bear. The final season, all episodes now streaming on Disney plus. So D and Angela catch up in the morning. D is going to tell Angela all about her conversations with Drew and with Kamu the day before where Drew let her know that Taylor was saying that there are only four people that haven't touched the block. The three icons in Kamu.

[00:22:16] And then she brought that to Kamu to try to get him to not trust Taylor as much. She's not sure that it worked. And they both agree Taylor has got to go. She's so dangerous in this game. And there, you know, there are other people that need to go to. They talk about the two couples, Mallory drew, Melody Barrett. Not that those are the couples in that order, but, but that, you know, they would obviously need a shot taken at them at some point, but, you know, later.

[00:22:45] And the first person that they would probably take a shot at is Mallory just because she's the most competitive of that group. But they do love Mallory. Maybe it would be Drew. He's won a competition too. That's kind of where things stand at this point. And it's kind of where they should be aiming. They've correctly determined and figured out that Taylor and Lala are kind of looking at the vets. Now, they haven't figured out that Yash is actually the biggest threat amongst them because Taylor and Lala have actually decided they're good with D and Angela.

[00:23:12] It's only Devins they're worried about and Devins doesn't have anything to be worried about because he's got a diamond power of veto. But this is about where things stand there. And it's important to sort of like lock that in because that's been where things have been for like the last couple of days. And I feel like the argument that the two of them are making throughout the day, right, was that they were not happy that apparently Lala and I think in particular Taylor were telling Angela in the wake of the entire gym catastrophe,

[00:23:41] like you don't need to talk to Haley, you know, don't necessarily smooth things over. Let her be isolated. It's fine. She's on her way out the door. And I think it's a lot of umbrage with Taylor sitting down with Chuck and Haley to the point where I think was it like D took a big old bag of garbage and like put it down next to Taylor to make a point. So I think that, you know, we certainly saw this with Drew confirmation bias is a hell of a drug in an environment like Big Brother.

[00:24:06] And so they're sort of looking at the moves that Taylor in particular is making and thinking like, all right, they're they're trying to do something against us or she's dangerous in this game. This is certainly going to be something that will be bandied about by a lot of people today. You know, Drew and Barrett will have a conversation where Drew compares her to Daniel Reyes, which look, you had AJ on the other day. Not a great comparison to make optimally optically between that and the Chelsea and the Ashley of it all.

[00:24:34] But regardless, it does seem like if, you know, the H.O.H. were held tomorrow, Taylor is in, I think, a lot more danger than she probably reckons. Yes. Yes. So that is that's really the many conversations throughout the day. We'll touch on a few of the the more interesting ones. Another thing that's happening through the day, Drew talks to Kamu about the veto and their relationship prior to the ceremony. It's a little bit of a rekindling.

[00:25:00] A lot of Kamu kind of talking through how Drew was never really the target last week and everything's fine. And Drew was like, I was never really even wanting Mallory to stay your H.O.H. week. Like, that's also totally fine. And I don't think either of them like really fully trust the other one in this conversation or really even the one later on. But it's like, you know, we've both kind of done each other dirty.

[00:25:28] We're both a little skeptical of each other, but there's value to be had here. We should we should keep keep up the facade at the very least. Yeah, they're going to have a much more in-depth handyman conversation towards the end of the day. But it's interesting, right, considering that actually when you and I were last on here together, you know, this is what the handyman was kind of falling apart as a concept. When Devens was throwing Drew under the bus before finally coming around to keeping him and kind of would sort of distance himself.

[00:25:57] I did like Kamu really trying to soften his own involvement in everything that went down last week. Like he's saying, don't shoot the messenger when he was the John Hancock on the message of like, hey, listen, they were thrown out your name. Not me, by the way. And don't worry about it. Like, it was all fine in the end. It was just like a skosh of a con. We were just throwing out options. You know, devil's advocate, as you say, we weren't targeting you for the vast majority of last week and only pivoted because D came to us at the last minute.

[00:26:23] Nobody, nobody could have spotted me in any of those meetings. Exactly. I was really well hidden. Exactly. I was going full Ezio from Assassin's Creed. I was hiding in the background, seen and not heard. And yeah, like you said, I mean, it's interesting because I think a lot of us watching at the time were like, Drew, hello. Come on. This is, you know, basically implicit confirmation that the vets were coming after you at some point.

[00:26:51] But I think Kamu's attempts to really minimize that as well as, you know, Drew's, I think, own implicit thoughts about Kamu and about his relationships towards the vets, at least in the moment has him, I think, minimizing a lot of this. You know, I think it does come down to the fact that, yes, things flipped more prominently towards Lyric.

[00:27:11] But like even flipping that away from Drew, I think really helped their relationship with him at this moment because he's caught some wind that he was a target. But I think if he had heard closer to Thursday, then this could have had a bit more of an impact than now, which is just like, yeah, I mean, we were throwing, they were throwing out names because I was on the block. That makes sense. But I'm still working with them at the end of the day.

[00:27:35] Well, I think it's important to recognize that Drew feels he caught Kamu and the Red Corner people trying to flip the vote against him. But that, you know, secretly he always had his crossovers. And then maybe the crossovers had at some point, he actually instructed them to go along with it and then blindside them, which they then did. So in his mind, there's not really much reason to believe.

[00:28:02] And I'm like, you'll have noticed that like I'm faulting Drew much less now for not seeing that the vets aren't fully with him because they proved in some pretty big actions that they were. And they are less against him now. And so like I think his obliviousness to their disloyalty is less of a fault now than it certainly was for the first four weeks where they were plotting his demise for the first four weeks.

[00:28:28] That said, still doesn't mean you should be telling them a bunch of information that you shouldn't be telling them, which we'll talk about soon. Yeah, I mean, it's so interesting just to briefly go down on like the Drew and Kamu, because I've also thinking about because, yes, Drew is kept in the good graces of the vets. You know, they'll spend today, as you mentioned, Angela and D are briefly like, let's get rid of Drew first in that group. It's not going to be that case at the end of the day. But I'm looking at like the way they talk about Drew versus Kamu.

[00:28:58] And this is like, you know, the girl you want versus the girl you should be worried about in that. Like, I think that a lot of the previous worries they had about Drew should be placed onto Kamu. And not to say that things can't change six weeks from now, but I am a little worried about some of these vets commitments to working with Kamu. Oh, we'll talk about it. Yeah, because I think that this to me is a little bit out of the Survivor playbook.

[00:29:28] Like, I think they're trying to go full Jeremy Collins, Dean Devins in particular, and say like Kamu is our meat shield. He's the big comp beats. He's always going to get taken out above us. That's not really how Big Brother works. Doesn't work that way. Yeah, there have been people that have used shields in the past, but the pure nomination facet of the game where multiple people can go up on the block doesn't mean that there are multiple targets open at any point in time. It can't necessarily get honed in on one particular person.

[00:29:54] Not to mention that the end game of Big Brother is so competition heavy. And if you are letting that person into the end, sure, they can be a shield for you. But that shield is largely going to be disregarded if they're safe every single week, as we saw as recent as last season with Morgan. So I'm sure we'll get into it a little bit more. But I do feel like a lot of their misgivings about working with Drew and that Drew could snipe us down the line or endanger our games.

[00:30:22] I think the real call is coming from inside the house there. A hundred percent. Yes, we will definitely talk about that once we get to some of these later conversations. Taylor and Mallory, though, in the meantime, have their own check-in about the vets. It's a very, very brief one again. But now that Mallory has kind of been activated by Yash, she talks to Taylor about like, you know, who should go to jury. And Mallory's like, well, I was just talking to Yash about that.

[00:30:51] I've heard that the next move is looking like the icons. And Taylor's like, yes. And so this is set up for a conversation again later in the night. You'll notice I keep talking about the later in the night conversations because that's when all of the conversations actually happen. But this is the setup to those conversations. Dee and Devins talk about their plans. They say Kamu is really easily influenced.

[00:31:16] And I do think this is true, that they have proven that they can influence Kamu really easily. Now, the problem is, and they recognize this too, that he's also easily influenced by other people as well. As effective as Kamu is in the game, his biggest flaw is that he's really gullible and he's really easily influenced. We talked about that in the first four weeks. It's part of what put him in such a bad position last week.

[00:31:42] But in their minds, what this means is the people influencing Kamu need to go. Taylor and Lala. Yash will also eventually need to go. But they do love Yash. And that's kind of like a further later on kind of thing. They also talk about the diamond power of Vito and that it only has three weeks left before it runs out of charge, I guess. Before it depreciates in value. It becomes cubic zirconium. Don't talk to Angela about depreciation of value.

[00:32:12] And so Devin says he's using it no matter what. This is no Tyler situation. At the final week where it's eligible to be used, if he hasn't used it already, he will use it for whatever. And they start talking about different ways they could use it and just silly stuff. Like Dee saying, oh, we could fake a fight and go after each other.

[00:32:38] And I could try to convince somebody to nominate you or vice versa. And then save from the block with the diamond power of Vito. Like silly stuff like that. Which is obviously, again, not exactly optimal play, but would be fun to see at least. And this is, again, Rick Devins to a tee. He's never going to let anything burn a hole in his pocket.

[00:33:01] Now, granted, his survivor career was basically, you know, him playing from the bottom and being, you know, acquiring these advantages and then having to immediately expend them. But as we'll be talking about over the course of today, like this guy is here for fun. And so he created a big TV moment with his nomination speech receded back into the shadow. Something that Kamu thinks he can do. I think it totally makes sense that he would want to make this moment happen.

[00:33:25] I think the downside, as we've seen as recent as a few days ago, is OK, but you're going to have to worry about who is the collateral damage, perhaps from that TV move. Especially if it's a week where both D and Devins and Angela as well are safe. If they're not on the block, if Devins says no matter what, I'm using this thing. Yeah, maybe you could broker some sort of deal. But the fact that he has to nominate a person is going to be a bit of a sticky situation.

[00:33:54] And this is going to be, I think, if we're timing things out correctly, Taryn, right? Like around the time the jury is going to start as well. It's going to be final 10, final nine. So listen, I would absolutely love to see it, especially this, again, very public aspect where it's not anonymous. He has to stand up and look someone in the eye and say, I'm the one who's using this and putting somebody up.

[00:34:14] But it still kind of plays into their wheelhouse of, you know, creating entertaining content for them and for us, but maybe not strategically, you know, wholesome content. It also is interesting because I didn't really necessarily think about, not the game-breaking aspect, but when D and Devins were talking about, if the two of us are ever nominated, D can just bribe her way off the block and Devins just plays the diamond power or veto.

[00:34:40] That's make me, again, look at some of these anti-vet conversations and have things look a little bleak, I think, for the rest of the pre-jury. I, I'll, I'll, I'll shoot my shot right now. I think if Devins holds the power until the final week and Drew is still in the game, I think Drew gets diamond power or veto nominated by Devins. I think Drew is the target of this from Devins. Uh, I think Devins has, has just had an eye out for Drew ever since he was turned on him.

[00:35:09] And even though D and Angela have kind of come away from looking at Drew, uh, Devins remains looking at Drew. And I really think that he's not going to want to waste his power on a Kathy. He's going to want to go after what he thinks is like the biggest threat to people's games. Um, and that could be Kamu at that point, or it could be Drew, or maybe could be somebody like Yash. But I don't think he's nominating a Lala here.

[00:35:35] Uh, I think, uh, so I, I think Drew has a very high chance, maybe a Mallory. Uh, but I think Drew has a very high chance of getting diamond power vetoed. Well, the good news is that hopefully if Drew has a few more weeks to try to get in his good graces, keep asking to borrow his tie. Maybe Devins could change his tuning. The longer that this goes unused, perhaps either the more likely he is to really dig in his heels and use it, or the more likely something else pops up and Devin sees a more glaring golden opportunity in front of him,

[00:36:04] rather than putting up this guy who's been getting on his nerves for a month and a half. Yes. So, um, Angela talks to Dee. This is when they talk about how they feel bad for Haley. And they're really annoyed about how much Taylor is sucking up to Kamu. Uh, like, oh, look, she's bringing out a burger to him. She's been, like, flirting with him a little bit. It's, it, again, it's, it's very much like, uh, like, honestly, it's giving Haley a little bit.

[00:36:32] Uh, like everybody, they want Kamu and they don't like other people courting Kamu, especially Taylor. Um, and not to mention the fact that Taylor is, is kind of coming for them and they kind of know that. Um, they outright say it. Taylor is the new Drew to them. Um, that they are worried about Taylor. Um, now Devin's pops in during this conversation and, uh, he's again, this is to display the sort of difference

[00:37:02] and point of views here. Angela and Dee, very concerned about Taylor and Lala. And they should be, uh, Devin's still very concerned about Drew. And he shouldn't be, uh, but, but he is. And so, uh, now he should maybe be concerned about Mallory and Melody, uh, who are currently being courted by Yash and Taylor and Lala. Um, but, uh, but Devin's pops in. He says, cause he's just been watching FAP, FAP around.

[00:37:32] Um, and he says, I want to just ask him, just ask him point blank what their Alliance name is. Cause they've obviously got one. Uh, basically wants to Felicia them and just catch them off guard and see if they'll just blab blurb. Blab, blah, blah, blah. What is the name? Oh, it's, oh, it's a, this is the name. Yeah. You can't lie to me. I'm a cop. You must tell the truth. They think it would be really funny if he did that. So, oh yeah, you should totally do that. Yeah.

[00:38:00] Which, uh, listen, will end up happening. I don't think it's necessarily for Devin's catching them off guard as much as it is again, drew and Barrett willingly volunteering the information, which should be a glaring sign that these guys are more than happy to be in your debt for the better part of the game. But when Devin's has a perception coupled with a big fun thing that he can do, it is irresistible

[00:38:27] as irresistible as the juicy burger that Taylor brought out to Kamu in the backyard. The burgers did look good. I'm not going to lie. It looked really freaking good. Um, all right. So Lala talks to Angela. It's, it's a long conversation, but toward the end of it, Lala, uh, kind of out of the blue warns Angela that it was, and I say warns what she's really doing is trying to be like, Hey, I'm really with you.

[00:38:55] In fact, it was pitched to me that the vets should leave before the jury. And I said, no, I want you in jury, Angela. Um, and this is true from Lala, uh, Taylor pitched her to take out the vets before the jury. And she said, nah, I'm cool with Angela. Um, it's just, you know, she's kind of inadvertently ratting out her closest ally. That's the thing.

[00:39:22] Like go back to Kamu saying, Oh, Hey, by the way, drew some people were saying you should go in our Alliance. Oh, Hey, Angela. Some people were telling me that I should go after the icons this week. Don't pay attention to who's in my immediate orbit and put two and two together. I'm just throwing some numbers out there. You don't need to solve the equation. Now for what it's worth, I believe the rest of the night, Angela has not told D specifically the nature of this conversation though. Right.

[00:39:49] So what Angela's told D, uh, was something along the lines of like, uh, I actually, I had a great conversation with Lala. I feel better about Lala not coming after us specifically Lala, not Taylor. Um, and, uh, and she says, I don't think Lala would come for us, but you know, maybe Devins might be in the line. Basically like, uh, extending it because Lala only said Angela.

[00:40:17] Um, but Angela then extended that to D, uh, on her own. Um, didn't extend it all the way to Devins. Um, and, uh, but it doesn't change the fact that Taylor still needs to go. Um, it just, it did just make Angela feel better about Lala. So it actually worked for Lala. That's the thing that, again, I could see a lot of people saying, all right, as much as she's claiming that she's playing dumb, uh, you know, perhaps a little too method

[00:40:43] actor at this point, but I do feel like if her intention was to really lock in with Angela, not the icons and be like, listen, people were saying your name, but I'm here for you. And to, to that point, the rest of that conversation, like Angela's like, I'm here with you. I will always be here with you. You know, this is a conversation that, uh, as the culmination of a week that has Lala like straddling her, uh, after the, before the nomination ceremony, like these two are thick as thieves.

[00:41:13] The pure irony is that Lala was ready to ditch this woman day one upon seeing her walk back into the house. But I think that if this spillage meant to more so create a puddle that brings Angela closer to her side by making it feel like I had the option to protect you this week and I did, that's fine. I just think it's also kind of funny considering the charge that Lala is going to lead in more mixed company later on in the night, which again does protect Angela when

[00:41:42] she's talking about the vets to go after it's very much directed towards Devin's. They all say Angela is fine. And I think that's what we should look at this moment more as that's less about, oh my God, Lala's throwing Taylor under the bus and more so like Lala's using this information to continue to secure her relationship with Angela. Yeah, that was certainly the intention. It could have gone another way, but it, it, it, it didn't really, but also didn't need to, they were already looking at Taylor. Dee and Devin's talk more about targets.

[00:42:11] Still Taylor and Lala first. Devin's like Dee keeps pushing Taylor. Lala, Devin's keep saying, but I'm really nervous about this four. And Dee's like, I'm really not that threatened by them. Like I really don't think they're a problem. Socially, they're not a problem. Competitively, maybe that's why Mallory might need to go or Drew could go first. Who really cares? Taylor and Lala are bigger threats. They both feel great about Kamu and this is going to go even deeper into the night.

[00:42:39] We'll, we'll, we'll continue to hold off on going too deep into that yet. But Devin's talks to Kamu and, and Kamu is asking Devin's about Taylor because he says Dee was like not really feeling Taylor. We talked about this conversation yesterday. Um, and Devin's wasn't ready to jump on that, uh, as well to like, uh, to, to push that angle. He's like, yeah, you know, I can see why she might think that, um, you know, I really like Taylor.

[00:43:07] I really like her, Yash and Lala. I think we should stick close to them. Obviously they're a bit of a trio. So like doing a little bit of like, yeah, we should watch them, but we're also close to them. And then speak of the devil or the angel, as she says, uh, Taylor shows up and they start talking about the primaries alliance, otherwise known as the tethers alliance. Uh, I don't know why they like, it's the primaries because of the colors. Taylor really loves the colors, but it's really, come on, this is the tethers.

[00:43:35] Was it the colors of the M&Ms or is she just more so like seeing the color coded vision in her mind? I'm pretty sure it's just straight up the M&Ms. So, cause basically the conversation goes, Hey, well, this is great. We're working together.

[00:43:46] Uh, just to remind people, this is the tethers alliance that started during Kamu's HOH week that, uh, Taylor was initially pitching as like a five to six person alliance where everyone had their own tether based on the color coding of her M&Ms of like the houses and trios, uh, that Kamu and Devin's were like, let's just not include anybody else and just have Taylor in this trio as a, like a, like dragging her along kind of thing. Um, that now is more important because Taylor is in some power.

[00:44:15] Uh, and, um, and she again listed it out with the M&M. So Kamu's saying, why don't we add more people to this alliance now that it's more important to me? Uh, we should bring in somebody like D, uh, and Taylor's like, Hmm. According to my binder. Exactly. She says, listen, that's not, that doesn't work with the colors. It has to be middleman. Kamu's like, forgive me. I don't, I don't remember the colors.

[00:44:46] Taylor's like, I put together an entire spreadsheet for this board meeting, boardroom meeting, and you didn't even give it a glance, sir. I mean, this is why as much as we love people coming in with preseason plans, it's not a good thing to do because if you are sticking with this to the letter of the law, you're proving yourself to be inflexible.

[00:45:06] And I feel like there should be a term, Taryn, uh, like almost like reading comprehension, where I feel like Taylor has really good reads in this house of where things are. I think she has a lot of difficulty finding meaning behind those reads. You know, when somebody's saying, hey, let's bring D into this. Let's bring Yash into this. And you're saying like, I don't think we should pick D. D is a tether. We don't want to get D fundamentally involved in this alliance.

[00:45:33] They're trying to actively send you a signal and you're actively sending a signal back. One of the most frustrating things just generally for me for watching the feeds for years and years is how often you'll realize that people just don't pay close enough attention to what other people are saying ever.

[00:45:58] Uh, they're always so focused on what they want to say and communicate that they're not actually listening to the other person. And there are so many instances where like, just let the other person speak because there's genuinely valuable information you're on the cusp of receiving. But you're so invested in interrupting them to finish their sentence for them that you're not even getting that information. It's wild to me.

[00:46:25] Uh, not to say that Taylor does that, but like, yeah, you should kind of be worried about the fact that Kamu is suggesting you bring in D into this alliance. Um, and maybe she is, but, uh, she says we need a middle person. As you said, Mike, we need one of the middle. I don't remember what color that is either, but, uh, that's me talking, not her. She, of course, I'm sure remembers. Um, we need a middle person, which is Yash drew or Barrett.

[00:46:53] Uh, now these, these colors are also like completely out of date, but, but, but the point is that she wants to bring in Yash because she feels more comfortable with Yash. She suggests Yash, they both say they like that. She says, Lala is my tether. D can be one of yours. Angela kind of comes with D their talk because they keep talking about wanting to bring Angela in. Um, she suggests we could pull in like Melody or Mallory. And Devin's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[00:47:19] She, they're, they, you can't bring any of them in because they're too attached to each other. Um, and they said, no, the animity punishment is over. They're not tethered to each other anymore. Yeah, there's literal tether. Um, so, uh, the point being that, you know, they're talking through the primaries Alliance. Uh, Taylor kind of shuts down D's involvement, but says she can be a tether. I'm sure this will come back to D, uh, in some capacity.

[00:47:46] Uh, but like, um, you know, it's still being talked about. Honestly, I actually feel like Taylor should probably have wanted D in involved in this actually, uh, just to give D less reason to be coming after her. Uh, D said to Kamu outright, she doesn't want to be included in a formal alliance with Taylor because she wants the ability to nominate her. Uh, so the closer you force these two into proximity, kind of the better, uh, for, for Taylor who is in a little bit more danger from it right now.

[00:48:16] Yeah. I mean, it's, uh, keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer, you know, try to provide this person for all the reasons why they can't put you up. Uh, even though, I mean, it's clear that Kamu and Devin's are not necessarily in on this really whatsoever. Kamu's got his own stuff going on with Taylor outside of this and Devin's yes, will vouch for Taylor in comparison to D, but, uh, this, this alliance is getting primaried in a manner of speaking. It's not making it to the general election anytime soon.

[00:48:44] No. And this is when Devin's has a conversation with drew and Barrett. Uh, and he's asking them like who they would target next week. And this is just a full on trap. This whole conversation. Not only is Devin's planning to, to jump them with the question of what their Alliance name is, but, uh, but he's also just fishing for any information he can use against them because he doesn't want to go against Lala and Taylor.

[00:49:08] As soon as D does, he wants to go against these four. Uh, and so he's trying to find information he can use to do that with. And so he's asking who they would target. Drew says, Taylor Kamu is also dangerous. And so is Mallory, but Mallory is cool with us. So we wouldn't need to go against Mallory. And that's when Devin says, you guys have an Alliance name and you can tell they're taken off guard. Drew immediately looks at Barrett and Barrett looks at Drew.

[00:49:35] And then they realized that they're looking at each other. And Drew's like, yeah, yeah, yes. It's, it was originally fuck ass people. So fab. And it's like, it's like your parents just asked what your username on Xbox live means. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, it's like, it's, it was, it's, it's like fab, but like, but it's cause like fuck ass.

[00:50:03] But cause you know, like, yeah, it's, so it's kind of silly and embarrassing. Yeah. Cause we're going to have to change it. So it's not like probably a permanent thing. I don't know. Devin's looks like he was about to go into Xbox live the way he was dressing when they were playing pool with like the sideways cap and the oversized shirt. Okay. So maybe this is a bit of a hot take because I think there will be worse things that will be said by Drew in particular later on this evening.

[00:50:25] I don't actually hate this move. Yes. It's another sign yet again of them seemingly volunteering information right on a silver platter. But the way I've been observing these people and I imagine the vets are as well. These four are so palpably visible together so much of the time that I don't necessarily know how much they're really showing their cards by being like, yep, we're a group together now, maybe the name.

[00:50:54] But I feel like giving alliances names is commonplace in big brother. It's actually much more of a rarity that you don't get an alliance a name than you do now. And so I don't feel like this is like a huge game losing move on either one of their parts. I think this was more so again, serving as confirmation bias from Devin's perspective.

[00:51:15] He got what he wanted, but he was already kind of feeling this way anyway, knowing that now they're the fat foursome is not necessarily going to move the needle one way or the other. I think I disagree. I mean, not that it's necessarily like a game losing move, but but I do think we talked about this earlier in the season. There's a power in names and there's a difference, I think, in how you view them.

[00:51:44] And it's even something that I experienced myself when I'm talking about them before they called themselves fat. I we didn't look at them as a foursome, even though they hung out all the time. We then started to look at them as a foursome. We'd have to call them like, you know, Drew and and and Melody and and Barrett and Mallory. And you could maybe say like the four of them or like the the couples or something along those lines.

[00:52:13] But the second you put a name, you attach a name to them, they are now easily spoken about. They're now they're the fat four. They're the fat. Yeah. And and so while you did look at them as a group in some way, now they are officially a group. You have confirmation that they are working together. It instead of suspecting that they're that they've talked about, like, you know, working together generally, you now know they have a secret alliance name.

[00:52:43] They've probably now now instead of speculating that they're generally working together, you're speculating that they're probably have conversations about going to the final four together. And like and maybe they have like a secret handshake or they have a secret rock ceremony that they do. Like it's it's similar, I think, to what Devins talked about with the diamond power of Vito, where it's like you can suspect that Devins has the diamond power of Vito all you want. But because he's never told you anything, he's never confirmed to you that he has it.

[00:53:13] Your suspicions stop at he probably has a power instead of thinking, what power does he have? And I think it's similar with the alliance name instead of thinking, well, they're they're probably working together. Now you're thinking, what are they doing while they work together? What are they actually angling at? And you you get one layer deeper in that suspicion. And it it like, you know, perception matters. And so I do not like this. They were obviously caught off guard.

[00:53:42] And and I think there's maybe a world where if they hadn't been caught off guard, they wouldn't have said anything. I doubt it. But but they should have prepped for this. They should have known they should have talked like, are we going to tell Devins? Are we going to tell like, what are we going to tell? And they didn't. And they got caught off guard and they looked at each other. They were very clearly caught. They told the name. I don't like it, but it's worse.

[00:54:08] I mean, I also wonder, and this is very odd to say, but could the name of the actual alliance help their case here? Like because it is kind of a fuck ass name that it seems so kind of like literally floopy that it's like, OK, yeah, we're just a bunch of like, young, immature kids fucking around. We named ourselves the fuck ass people as opposed to like, we are the honorables and we are the construction crew who will demolish the house.

[00:54:36] Like, I do see your point that names do help rubber stamp some stuff. But I feel like the amount of ink that gets used might honestly be dependent on like how serious the name might be. Well, that's like Barrett is like, yeah, we're going to have to change it. Like, dude, that means it's serious. It's serious. That's where you throw production under the bus. Like CBS, you know, Skydance. Yeah, but that's bad.

[00:55:00] CBS forcing them to change it means it's in the episodes now as opposed to like, you know, like if they were able to keep it fat, then it wouldn't have mattered. You know what I mean? I guess that's true. Actually, if you want an alliance to be secret people and to be underestimated, give it the most like explicit NSFW name you possibly can because they could say, well, it's not making the show. So clearly it's not that big of a deal. Right. So Drew immediately says, like, they love you and Angela, though. They want to work with you guys.

[00:55:29] Like, this is not a problem. And I'm like, this is this is progress from Drew. And then Barrett says, yeah, the only hold up with Mallory is that D put her up on week one. And I'm like, Barrett, Mallory hasn't even talked about that in like weeks. Why are you bringing it up? What do you mean?

[00:55:52] And it's so clear that he just wants to be able to give Devin something so that it doesn't seem like he's just protecting Mallory. But like protect Mallory, bro. Like, what do you mean? These two are like, it's great that these BB historians are on the show, but I feel like they're too reliant on referring to the past because this is like almost an echo of Drew being like, hey, fun fact. You three icons and Kamu have not been on the block.

[00:56:20] Like, yeah, these are fun notes in their BB wiki pages. Please don't mention them as ammo to be used against your closest allies. And without any further prompting, like like an interviewer that just uses silence as an attack. Devin's just is like listening. Barrett goes. Oh, and I guess she also wants to like she almost wants to keep Haley this week, which is kind of like a silly thing.

[00:56:44] Also, I guess like he's just trying to give as much as he can for no particular reason. Please say something. Please say something, Devin, so that we can forget about the fat thing. I'll give you something else, please. Right. And so this conversation continues in a bad way. And then it gets even worse when he joins and and like now they feel like they need to tell D stuff.

[00:57:09] And because they're already mentioned the like that Mallory was still thinking about D putting her on the block. Drew is still trying to be like, but they're not going to put any of you guys up. It's going to be the people who voted Melody out. Like, obviously, because they've been talking a lot. Devin's keeps prompting this like there's not a lot of options left. Uh, and so and so Drew's like, but obviously, like the only the only real worry would be like a renom. And he's like, oh, that's crazy.

[00:57:39] I'd be a renom. He's like, no, I don't think I don't think you'd be read. I'm just like saying, but like the damage is done here. And they've they've just for no reason at all just completely thrown themselves and their allies under the bus. That's the thing that I took much more on brick with. And I I understand the logic that as Devins was saying, they're running out of options here, Taryn. There's only like 13 people left in the house after this week.

[00:58:08] And so eventually they're going to have to name some names. But this is not helping the immediate point you were making, Drew, of, hey, we don't need to be worried about Mallory and Melody. It's just that if one of them wins HOH, one of you may be facing the block come eviction night. But don't you worry. That's just a hypothetical of a hypothetical. Forget that I even said that. I think that Drew is just we talked about this before, and I'm certainly guilty of it.

[00:58:36] Not being able to find a punctuation mark for the end of the sentence. I think that he, again, had a fairly good thing going with all this talk of don't worry, Melody and Mallory. They're not going to come after you guys. There is no need to put the text in white, you know, in 72 point bull face pod and be like, well, actually, I might come after one of you later on.

[00:59:01] Because, again, the confirmation bias is setting in and it's no coincidence that after this, yes, congratulations, Drew. You incidentally turn the target off of yourself, but you turned it on to your closer allies to the point where now you have Dee saying, you know, maybe that like Taylor, Yash, Lala group can stay for a couple more weeks if we need to go after Melody and Mallory. And it's just, it feels so simple to me that it's just like, oh, they feel so good about you guys now.

[00:59:30] After the whole vote flip, like they're so grateful. They want to go after the, and they were kind of trying to go in that direction. They're so grateful to that. Really, like the person I'm worried about the most is Taylor. She keeps coming up to us talking about who's not been on the block before. Clearly trying to like influence Melody and Mallory to go in that direction. But we have made sure to reiterate to them that like that doesn't really matter. And they completely agree with us.

[01:00:00] Like they don't really, they're not really buying what Taylor is selling right now. Keep the focus on Taylor. Keep it away from your actual allies. Don't, they just, they feel like they need to give something in order to be like accepted. But it's like, what are you being, what are you being given in this? What, what, what is Devin's giving you to make you accept him? Nothing.

[01:00:29] This is a one-way transaction here. You need to recognize that. And we're talking about this in the way that we are because it's, it has huge effect. Devin's indeed talk after this conversation about how he is now thinking, okay, Taylor can wait. Mallory needs to go. I'm a renom for her.

[01:00:57] This foursome is more, Devin's, you were right. This foursome is more dangerous. We need one of them to go. And of course, one of them to go might mean Mallory right now. But it also means Melody's still not a threat. We're not taking out Melody. Which means if one of them needs to go, it's Mallory. Drew is the backup. Like this, it just like things were going so well for them.

[01:01:25] And all they needed to do was just keep their mouth shut. Yeah. I realized in retrospect that I accidentally, you know, portmanteaued the two names that came up with Malady and Mallory. And I feel like Malady is actually a perfect name to describe this foursome right now because they have a serious problem. And it's these two guys running this information back.

[01:01:46] And so, yeah, I think that, again, like of no consequence with Mallory and Melody, they are sort of guilty by association with these two guys who on paper, you would think, would have the connections to keep them safe. But they're the ones that are actively putting them in danger in the midst of all this.

[01:02:06] And I think this also makes sense from D and Devin's survivor specific perspective, D's perspective, especially of if you say my name, you're my new target. And again, that's not necessarily all the time on Big Brother. It's always a matter of timing more so in a long game like this.

[01:02:24] But they are adopting that sort of mob like mentality of, OK, once I have verbal confirmation that you are going after me or are going out, have gone after me at some point, that gives me all the clearance I need to do to act on my impulses and get rid of you. And so when you provide explicit evidence or at least what they see as evidence, then that gives them all they need to pursue their own hit on these two.

[01:02:50] Yes. And obviously, it's only a Monday night. There's plenty of time for things to change back. There's also plenty of time for things to change against Barrett on the block this week. But there are still plenty of things happening as well that could angle them back toward Taylor and Lala. We'll talk about that in just a second.

[01:03:12] But also in this conversation with Devin Zindy, this is when they really talk about how much they love Kamu and how much they really like, especially with all of this, like they've got Taylor and Lala to deal with. They've got the FAP4 to deal with. And their tried and true ally right now, the person that they value the most more than anybody else other than the icons is Kamu. He is going to win comps for them. They can influence him. They want to bring him really far.

[01:03:38] This is what, Mike, you were talking about earlier in the update where they are really talking about bringing Kamu down to the endgame as their weapon, as their tool. And this is a strategy that has been used on Big Brother. It's very much Will's strategy, right? He does it with Hardy and Nicole. He does it with Janelle and Erica. This is what Will likes to do. It worked once. It didn't work a second time because Janelle beat the crap out of him.

[01:04:09] And now this strategy is even worse because of the way that competitions are formatted and how the endgame competitions in particular are formatted. And for many, many, many other reasons. This should be the number one piece of advice that anybody gets before going into the house. Do not bring a comp threat into the endgame unless you can guarantee yourself that you are the person that influences them the most and that you can beat them in the end.

[01:04:39] And that might be true for one of them. But it is just incredibly, incredibly dangerous to be this in with Kamu this early, in my opinion. And I think this is a huge mistake on their part. I think Kamu is just too dangerous a player, too likely to win competitions. And they are too focused on this FAP4, who very clearly are, as Dee was saying earlier in the day, just not threats.

[01:05:07] They just blew up their own spot for no reason. And the only reason Mallory and Melody are even hoarding the idea of going after the vets is because Yash, the true threat, who is very tightly linked to Kamu, the closest person to Kamu other than the vets themselves, is pushing them in that direction.

[01:05:25] And they are blind to all of this because they're so focused, or at least Devins is so focused on Drew and Barrett, who are the only people actually giving him the true direction of where things are going in the game because they're dummies. So, yeah, interesting stuff, bad stuff, but interesting stuff. Yeah, I mean, to me, it's sort of like the vets are determining which pet they want to get.

[01:05:51] And it's like, OK, well, you can get a couple of lizards or you can get like an alligator. And yeah, these things aren't domesticated, but like, I'm sure if you train it well enough and wouldn't it be cool to have this thing on your side? The trouble is, like, there's a fair chance no matter how well you train this thing, it's going to have the reptile-like capacity to bite you at a certain point. And that's the thing. Yes, Kamu can be easily influenced by you. Does that mean he can't be easily influenced by a lot of other people?

[01:06:21] In the house or that, as we saw this week, he could himself do some influencing upon other people. I think it's a fundamental underestimation of your competition. And look, there's a lot of weeks to go. Maybe they will wake up to this. But I do feel like, you know, right now in the aftermath of this schism with the tool shed, they're right now really trying to, I think, handpick the people they are looking to move forward with deep into the game.

[01:06:47] And I think right now this is the wrong choice to make, especially in comparison to some other options. If they stay actively targeting FAP instead of Taylor, Lala, Yash, they will have put themselves in the position that the red corner was in in the first four weeks. Where Taylor, Yash, and Lala have them doing the dirty work for them of going after the FAP group

[01:07:16] and them taking the retaliation of that, if there is any, theoretically. Like, it's just not great. I mean, they still do have the crossovers to some degree, but it's just, it's very messy. We'll see where it goes. Now, all that said, while this is happening up in the HOH room, Lala, Taylor, Melody, and Mallory are having a summit where they are discussing the idea of going after the icons.

[01:07:43] Melody initially saying she would put up the three people who voted her out. And Devin's who maybe put her on the block could be up on the block as well. Mallory says pretty much same. It makes sense to put up an icon. Taylor says me too. I think the icons are the ones that haven't been on the block yet. And they get more and more into this idea of targeting the icons. Drew and Barrett join from their conversation where they just ratted out the FAP alliance.

[01:08:11] Yash comes up and they all are all agreeing. Like, this is our game. The icons need to be targeted pre-jury. Devin's is the most dangerous one. Drew even says so too. Um, and, uh, and this is obviously something that Drew will likely bring back to Devin's and the rest of them.

[01:08:35] And you would, you would hope in Drew's position, then place all of the blame on Taylor, Lala, and Yash, and not talk about how Mallory and Melody were involved in it. No, they're going to give a full transcript of the conversation, like a court stenographer. Like I said, minute four, Mallory said that, uh, yes, she wanted to go after Kamu, but she did want some revenge on Rick Devin's. Uh, yeah, I mean, for what it's worth, they were able to practice some nice restraint.

[01:09:04] You know, they, the two of them immediately have a conversation after the meeting being like, well, we'll talk about this tomorrow. So they were able to sleep on it, but yeah, I'm not necessarily going in with high expectations today. Uh, I think it's a matter of when, not if this information gets out, despite Lala threatening that she'd whoop the ass of anybody. And she specifically said, Drew Barrett, are you going to tell anybody? She even knows that these are, you know, the two leakiest faucets contained within the plumbing of the Big Brother house.

[01:09:34] But it's, this is fun to see. And again, I talk about the timing of this, like this is sorry to Keith from Big Brother 13, but like, this is why you don't do this week one, you know, this is an opportunity to have people get to know each other to hopefully get everybody on the same page. And look, I don't think this wasn't even locked in as a formal alliance. It's more so a coalition under a shared philosophy, a credo of this is our time in the house.

[01:09:58] I don't necessarily think it's going to carry through, but at least it substantiates this idea that at least from the Taylor Yaya. Now I'm just mixing up so many names, the Yaya sisterhood of Taylor, Lala and Yash. They are going to go for the icons next week. That despite Lala telling Angela that she had, you know, staved the icons off the block for another week, she was the one gathering the masses being like, listen, we all know that Chuck or Haley is gone next week.

[01:10:27] And then we're taking two out more before a jury, right? We can all agree on that. But again, that's explicit evidence that can be brought to these icons that could actively be used against them. Yeah. And I did not like this for Yash to have joined this conversation the way that he did. He has been pretty under the radar so far with this stuff. Him being part of this is very dangerous for the retail that will inevitably come. We'll see if it does any real damage. But this is this is potentially where he could get caught up.

[01:10:58] So the night continues. Barrett talks to D and Angela. He tells them about FAP. They talk about what it means. It's pretty funny. Angela like goes full Cardi B and decides to. I can't say the words. Neither can CBS. But she goes in that direction and just puts fat in instead of wet. Yeah. Get your tickets now for the Dog Stars.

[01:11:29] It's no surprise how fast civilization can disappear. Go! Out there. Kill or be killed. Jacob Elordi. There are people out there. They need our help. Josh Brolin. Shoot first and inquire afterwards. Margaret Qualley. Ow! Okay, tough guy. And Guy Pearce. Arm up! The Dog Stars. Directed by Ridley Scott. In theaters August 28th. Get tickets now. Rated R. Under 17. Not a minute without parents. Drew talks some more with Melody and Mallory about also targeting Kamu.

[01:11:59] And that like really trying to redirect them away from vets more toward Kamu. Which I'm sure again he will be retelling today. Dee and Angela talk more about FAP. And Angela for her part, to her credit, is more skeptical of Kamu than Dee is. She's like, I really think Kamu is more dangerous than we're giving him credit for. We should not take our eyes off of him.

[01:12:29] Angela now, of the three vets, seemingly seeing the game with a little more clarity at the moment. In terms of like, we should maintain our focus on like the Kamu angle of like Kamu, Yash, Taylor, Lala. And we don't need to worry that much about FAP. I'm really still not that concerned. But she's not pushing that hard. She's just kind of bringing these points up.

[01:12:55] Yeah, I mean, I think this is where past precedent comes in for her. Again, she bore witness and had her game undone by a group of people who ran the table on competitions towards the end. And so she has experienced firsthand the danger of getting rid of the quote unquote weaker group from a competitive perspective. Even though Drew's won a blockbuster, Mallory's won a couple things in lieu of this group. It also might be that like Angela does have more of a tunnel vision aspect this week.

[01:13:24] Because of everything that went down with Haley. I think she's more singularly focused about like, let's move on from this week and look ahead rather than like exploring all the other options that they might have available. Yes. Yes. Finally, we get Drew's long conversation with Kamu late into the hours of the morning. Which is more of them just like continuing to reconnect talk strategy moving forward.

[01:13:53] Drew calls it a good talk. You know, he says, hey, you know, nobody sees that we're together. Nothing has changed really. Like we were like, you know, really going to be able to work this. Chuck, Kamu talks about Chuck and how he'd like, he's actually closer to Haley. And that if Haley stayed, it actually would be harder for him to put Haley on the block than it would be for Chuck. He just continues to just throw Chuck as much under the bus as possible. He was a mooch on our alliance.

[01:14:25] I mean, yeah. I mean, Kamu is going to bring up the thing that the Chuck GPT comparisons, right? Of like, he's just agreeing with everything that we say. You know, his prompts are all screwed up. But, you know, he provides kind of also a weird reason of like, he didn't speak up for me during the tea party. You know, he didn't rise and defend the valor of poor Haley when Jason was banging a kettle around her head. Like, OK, Kamu, I know that you're Mr. Reasons, 13 Reasons Why. But like, we don't need to keep adding them to the list.

[01:14:54] But yeah, I mean, Kamu, again, was able to put actions into effect when he did not use the veto. But I think he's going full scorched earth at this point. But I guess the question is here, Taryn, I mean, we had a Hail Mary miracle happen last week. Do you think we could possibly see things turn against Chuck here, especially if I say Chuck versus Haley vote?

[01:15:23] So there's a couple of things in the way. I think one is that this when Barrett said that the Mallory maybe wanted to keep Haley, that was like a reason to be sus of Mallory. They were like, oh, Mallory is trying to keep Haley. That's not good. And then in addition, I think this conversation that Kamu has with Drew, where he's saying that he would have a harder time putting Haley up on the block.

[01:15:46] I think that's another reason why, like, the vets in particular might think, if this gets relayed to them, that they want Haley gone actually over Chuck. Because if Haley stays, she might still be with Kamu and they don't want that. That said, as I mentioned before, you know, they are feeling bad for Haley. There has been plenty of talk about keeping Haley. I, you know, I think we've talked about it a lot.

[01:16:15] I think there's plenty of reason for the vote to flip. But I think there's almost too many people that are interested in flipping the vote to keep Haley. And, like, having certain people involved in that flip will disincentivize the rest from wanting it. If Mallory wants it, and Mallory might put D on the block, then that's not good. If Kamu wants it, and we want to make sure Kamu doesn't have any external influences other than us, that's not good.

[01:16:45] And if, you know, they're now in the reverse. If Taylor and Lala really want Chuck to stay, that's maybe a reason to keep Haley. But we also don't want to damage our relationship with Taylor and Lala. And Haley is the easy route because everyone's already agreed she's the target. If Kamu's willing to let Haley go, if Mallory's willing to let Haley go, and we don't have to piss anybody off while still removing their options, then that's maybe the way to go. But that's not really the way that the vets have, like, played so far, to your point.

[01:17:12] So, you know, it's really open. And again, don't even discount Barrett's position right now, considering what just happened with FAP Alliance. So I do still think this vote is very much live. It's just, I would still say it likely leans Haley. If I would harbor a bold accusation right now, I think one conversation needs to happen to completely change the course of this week.

[01:17:37] Like, I think we need to have a Haley-Angela, not even reconciliation, but understanding. Because the entire motto of the past month and a half, right, has been, as go the vets, so go the rest of the house. And I think right now, what is not helping the situation is, Angela has been so firmly anti-Haley since everything went down. You know, it's also been very funny. Side note, as she talked yesterday about her insisting to be like,

[01:18:05] I never said to trust your God, telling Lala, I never said that. I don't know, you can check the records, Taryn. I'm pretty sure she did say it to Haley, but I don't know if it's a misremembering on her part. But I think that Angela right now is very firmly saying, like, we've got to get rid of Haley. And so, of course, her immediate orbit is looking to support her on that. I think if Haley and Angela have a conversation where, yes, they clear the air, but maybe it starts to spark an idea of Angela's head of like, this is a salvageable relationship.

[01:18:34] And therefore, the appeasement of her as a game piece can also be coupled with the fact that that bridge is not burned. We can see something start to get mobilized here. I think it might, it's a big if, and at this point, considering that apparently she went the most off she's ever gone off in Big Brother history, like Angela might just say, this is done and dusted. I'll apologize to Haley as a person and then move on. Maybe that will happen. But this is, I think, the keystone to build this arch.

[01:19:04] Yeah, I agree. I mean, I think that if the vets feel like they can pull Haley back in and they feel more strongly about that than anywhere else Haley might go, that does give them a lot more incentive to go in that direction. So, and that, of course, if the vote changes, that changes the landscape of the House again, because who else is willing to jump on board that vote? Is it Lala and Taylor? Not likely. And that means that the vets are pitted against them again, whereas FAP might support the vote.

[01:19:34] And then that might put them back on the same side as them again. So there's all kinds of different ways this can go based on the vote, based on where things are headed. But that is about the day today or yesterday, I should say. Anything else, Mike, that you wanted to bring up? I'd be remiss, Taryn, and apologies. This is going to be very extracurricular. So, folks, if you want to dip out now, you totally can. I'd be remiss, Taryn, if I didn't get your thoughts about some of the news that came out yesterday in the Big Brother universe

[01:20:01] about what we are to expect from the highly anticipated thousandth episode. Yes. I actually, I mean, I haven't dug too deep other than the fact that there is going to be obviously a thousandth episode. They're going to be bringing Housewives back. There's going to be some kind of twist, some kind of vote. I don't know exactly what the vote is or what the twist is, but a big, big spectacular episode that will be taking place while we are in Milwaukee live. So make sure you get your tickets for that if you have not already.

[01:20:31] Yeah, it's going to be a big 90-minute episode. The wild thing is that it's going to be happening within a blockbuster and eviction as well. So I don't know if it's going to be like the eviction episode and then 30 minutes tacked on of celebration, if it's going to be seated throughout. But yeah, basically what CBS announced yesterday was that, you know, alumni are going to be making appearances as they have been throughout the season. There's going to be fan voting. Now, what's interesting about the fan voting is that on their Instagram yesterday, CBS put out three different fan polls

[01:20:58] for best winner, favorite showmance, and best player to never win. If I could hazard a guess, this might be sort of like the BB Can Awards and that like maybe the winners of these awards will be the ones who will make the special guest appearances and they'll sort of like accept the award. Maybe that's the case. And then yes, they are kicking off the biggest twist of the summer. And I feel like Taryn, week eight, week nine is where we've seen a lot of fuck ass shit happened, especially the past few seasons.

[01:21:28] So hold on to your butts, people. It might get a little hairy in a few weeks from now. Yeah, yeah, we'll see. We'll see about all that. All right, then that is what we have for you today. Thank you all so much for joining us. I'll of course be back tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern to update everything that happens today on the Big Brother 28 live feeds, including whether this vote will flip, what's going to happen with FAP and what's going to happen with this anti-vet sentiment.

[01:21:54] I'll also be recording the mailbag with Rob for Patrons of Rob Has a Podcast. You can also become a patron of mine if you want to watch my streams during the episodes, during the live feeds and all kinds of other fun stuff coming your way on my Patreon. And as I said, check out tickets for Milwaukee. They are still available if you want to come and hang out with us during the thousandth episode or just generally. Mike, what do you got going on? Yeah, I will plug Milwaukee as well.

[01:22:23] Hopefully it's not too much of a detractor, but I will also be there alongside Taryn and a whole myriad of podcasters and reality TV alumni as well. We haven't done this in a decade, people, almost. So it's going to be a really special occasion. Buy your tickets. I'm doing my usual-ish with Parade, with the Survivor Time Trip. I'll plug something else that's a little special. I started doing Exit Press for the Challenge. And spoiler alert, very Big Brother-centric set of eliminations last week, Taryn, in the Challenge premiere.

[01:22:50] So I've talked with Cedric, former cast member of Angela's. I'll be talking with Riley. Not that Riley. Luckily, BB25 Riley. Maybe I don't need to watch this season. Yeah, I was going to... Well, listen, it's a little bit of a Big Brother bleeding. It's been fun so far. But feel free to check all that stuff out as well. And thank you so much, as always, for having me on. Look at us making a meal out of some of the scraps that were being given to us until the sunset yesterday. Truly. All right. Well, that is what we have for you then again today. Thank you all so much for joining us.

[01:23:21] And I will see all of you next time. Bye.
