[00:03:02] Welcome to our live feed update for September 3rd. I'm your host, Taryn Armstrong, and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday. On the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 58 in the house, and the vote keeps going all over the place, as expected. But, you know, it's worth paying attention to.

[00:03:28] There's a lot of different permutations, and where the vote might land is still very much up in the air, even as of this morning, but there is lots to give you in terms of setting you up for what might happen today and tonight on tonight's eviction episode. And with me to talk through all of that is AJ. How are you doing, AJ? I'm doing great, Taryn. Honestly, yesterday, I was hoping it was some interesting game talk, particularly with the Lala and Taylor vote.

[00:03:56] We got that, but unfortunately, I also got Angela's opinion on Thanksgiving food and how baked potato's not valid, and that really impressed me. I'm not going to lie. Okay, so here's what happened. Here's what happened yesterday. There's a lot of, like, house bonding activities, games being played, stuff like that. I did not pay much attention to it.

[00:04:24] I was focused on the game stuff yesterday. It was a busy day for me. Uh, so AJ, uh, I will be leaning on you for Angela's, uh, baked potato takes, but that sounds ridiculous. I will say. It's, it's extremely ridiculous. I think baked potato, if you want to bring baked potato, that's fine. But what was even more ridiculous, she was like, baked potato is not okay, but eggnog is perfectly fine. And I'm like, what? For Thanksgiving? That's what I said, Taryn.

[00:04:53] How is baked potato not okay? What does this even mean? What does it mean? For Thanksgiving, baked potato is like a staple. Like, she said, apparently potatoes are only supposed to be mashed at Thanksgiving. And I'll give you mashed potatoes, but baked potato is a-okay. What are we doing? All right, okay. Ridiculous. All right. Um, well, that and more coming today on the live feed update.

[00:05:20] Um, you know, it's funny because something that I've really enjoyed about this week is how, how just wide open the game is and how diverse the, uh, opinions on the strategy are, uh, on the week and sort of like what people should do. There's so many different opinions and thoughts and views. And people are like, they're out in the streets battling it out for like, this is what's the best move.

[00:05:48] And these are the best strategists. And, and that's so fun to me. Uh, it's like every, it's everything I want the, the season to be and what like the, the sort of like community to be that like, we're just kind of like, you know, arguing about strategy. Like that's so fun. And I'm really glad that this week weird as it has been, it has been able to like provide such a diverse set of opinions, like, like just really all over the place.

[00:06:16] And, um, and now, uh, unfortunately this baked potato take is going to have to take us back to, uh, no, no, no. There's one good opinion on this. Only one, only one. Yeah. So, uh, so Drew, of course, is the HOH. She has nominated Lala Taylor. He initially nominated Yash, but Yash won a veto and took himself off the block. And Devin's went up in his place.

[00:06:44] Devin's volunteering for the position. If Devin's does not win the blockbuster, Devin's will be voted out. Uh, now the funny thing that happened here is that, uh, he would be voted out because Barrett is flipping because the vote should be three to three drew breaking the tie. To keep Devin's.

[00:07:06] However, Barrett joining Mallory Yash, uh, Melo, sorry, Parrett joining Melody Yash, uh, and, um, Taylor and or Lala, uh, means that, uh, that there are four votes to evict Devin's only Angela and D to keep Devin's and Devin's leaves.

[00:07:26] But then D was like, actually, I want to evict Devin's. I'm not a fan of Devin's being here. Uh, she thinks that Devin's is, is intentionally playing the middle, uh, in the crossovers and that he would eventually choose the boys over her. Now, from what we've heard from Devin's, that is wrong.

[00:07:52] He would choose it, but granted that was a little while ago, but like Devin's has never really shown any inclination toward eventually choosing the boys, as they say. Uh, either way though, it is what D is thinking. And she brought that to Angela and Angela is fully on board as well. She's been thinking a little bit of that as well. Angela may also just be kind of happy that D and Devin's are not lockstep.

[00:08:17] Uh, and so both D and Devin's, I'm sorry, both D and Angela also plan to vote out Devin's making it a surprise unanimous vote. That's if D actually goes through with it. She sometimes also kind of wants just Angela to do it. Either way, that's been going on over there.

[00:08:37] Now, another thing that was happening, of course, is that D and Angela have talked about another flip as well, which is should we, in the event that Devin's wins the blockbuster, keep Lala over Taylor? Lala has been the de facto target because that's what Drew wants. Uh, however, for Angela and D, it makes more sense to keep Lala around because they have a better connection to Lala than they do to Taylor. And so can they keep Lala? That's another question. They need to talk to Devin's.

[00:09:07] They need to talk to Drew to bear it and see if they can make anything like that work. So those are all the things on the table for the day. Let's get started. Okay. AJ. Yes. I wanted to start with D because I know there's been like a lot of conversation about like D, why the heck are you pushing for Devin's to get voted out? Which I agree. I don't think D should be pushing for Devin's to be voted out.

[00:09:32] With that being said, I think Devin's going out is good for D, but D should not be the person pushing it. Because D is in the terrible position where if D is like sitting next to the block, next to Devin's, they'll vote out D over Devin's. However, if D is also sitting at the end with Devin's, they're going to vote for Devin's to win over D. So Devin's being in this game is bad for D. However, I do not believe D should be the person that wants this to happen. I think if it happens, she's fine, but she should not be pushing for it like she has been. I do think that's an interesting perspective.

[00:10:02] And something that Rob and I talked about yesterday on the mailbag is that there is another added benefit to Devin's leaving for D, which you wouldn't immediately think about because it's such a strange scenario. But Yash is bribe. Yash can't nominate any of the three icons if he wins HOH. The next time he wins HOH, I should say.

[00:10:28] So with three people he can't, unless it makes mathematical sense is the key part here. So if Yash were to win HOH next week, he'll have a really hard time nominating any of the icons because there are five people to nominate. Or sorry, he would win HOH. There's seven people to nominate and three of them he can't. So he'd nominate three of the four that he can nominate.

[00:10:58] And then the veto would get used. He'd have to renom the fourth. The only scenario where he could nominate an icon at that point is if the veto winner was that fourth nominee, uses it on one of the three, and now he can nominate any of the icons for eviction. But that's a pretty niche scenario. So then when you get to final seven, now all of a sudden it's a lot easier. He has only six options. He nominates three of them.

[00:11:25] Any of those three win, his renom has to be an icon. And as soon as it has to be an icon, it can be any of the icons. Meaning he can nominate D over Devin's if he so chooses. Now this of course relies on the blockbuster staying in place. If the blockbuster goes away, things get even better for D.

[00:11:46] However, if Devin's leaves and Yash still has to protect now the two icons, it's near impossible for it to mathematically make sense for him to be able to ever nominate D or Angela. Basically all the way through to the end game. Because even at say final six, where assuredly you don't have the blockbuster anymore, he has five people.

[00:12:15] And if there were three of them, again, he'd nominate two, three icons, he'd nominate two non-icons. And then a veto would allow him to target D. But with only two, he again basically doesn't have any option unless the very niche veto scenario happens. So it actually protects her from specifically Yash a lot better. And I saw in the chat, has she vocalized this at all?

[00:12:42] No, she has not talked about this. This is not, I believe, in her thought process at the moment. In her mind, it's mostly just that she doesn't trust Devin's, which again, I think is a misread on Devin's. But I agree to AJ ultimately that there are some actual benefits to Devin's leaving, though I would never, of course, advocate for taking out your own ally. I agree with that. I agree. This is a pretty niche scenario.

[00:13:11] But yes, so there's another component to this. And this actually, I promise, ties into what's happening during the day. Because Dee wakes up. And she starts the day. Hey, Yash. It's stupid. It's stupid, stupid, stupid. It's stupid. But I had a dream that we were cuddling.

[00:13:49] And I will tell you that later in the day when she's talking to the cameras, she mentions that she is now, like, genuinely, she is starting to work on Yash. She doesn't say that that's linked to the dream talk. But she does say that she wants to secretly be working with Yash moving forward. And Devin's leaving opens the door for that in a much more significant way. So pay attention to Dee and Yash here.

[00:14:18] Yash is kind of like, you know, like, oh, that's funny. That's not weird. And, like, hugs her. And they talk about it again later. It's an interesting sort of, like, opening gambit here as she maybe is looking toward working with Yash moving forward. Now, I'm going to keep you on the strategy talk 100%. Lala did make it weird when she was like, I can cuddle you, Dee. I was like, Lala.

[00:14:49] Gets in bed with Dee, starts to cuddle her. I'm like, Lala. And Lala's defense. Dee said it was a nice cuddle. But still. It's, you know, I think, I think one thing I've been thinking about over the last, like, week, especially, especially with Devin's volunteering for the block. And this is going to be, I think, a relatively analysis heavy update because, you know, there's stuff to talk about for sure. And we'll get to it.

[00:15:19] But, like, again, there's so much fun analysis to do. But Devin's volunteering and that being just, like, one of the worst things you can do in the game. I have really, like, because then people are like, oh, wow. Stockwatch ratings have been decent.

[00:15:47] The season average is better than, like, last season, for instance. Like, you know, even though we're seeing a lot of bad moves occasionally, there's still some decent gameplay going on elsewhere. And I think that sometimes the fan base is a little too, like, black and white about, like, you're a good player or you're a bad player.

[00:16:08] And there's not enough, like, discussion about, like, this is a player that did a really good and impressive thing and then did a really dumb and stupid thing. And then did a really good and impressive thing and then a really dumb and stupid thing. And, you know, I think Devin's is clearly an example of that. I think that D is really, really talented at some things. And I really like this pivot that she can do if Devin's leaves.

[00:16:37] As much as I don't like the move of intentionally taking Devin's out, given the fact that Devin's is likely leaving anyway, she has potentially positioned herself in a spot where if she can grab onto Yash in the way that he can't even retaliate anyway, it's still dangerous because Yash can win a lot of these competitions. He might just win out. But, like, there's something there. And then with Yash himself, who kind of started the game a little clueless, has learned a lot and is now a much better player.

[00:17:05] There's just, like, I think it's, I think that we need to be a little more open about just, like, you know, a player can do bad things and they can do good things. And it doesn't, like, just because they're a bad player doesn't mean they can't ever do good things and vice versa. And, you know, obviously, you know, maybe one of the best examples of that was Vince last season. Did a lot of bad things, but also was pretty good at some other things.

[00:17:31] You know, there's a net sort of calculation to make eventually. But I think D and Devon's are both really good examples of this because they're both really good at some things and kind of really bad at some other things, which kind of maybe stems a little bit from Survivor. But I think it's quite interesting. I agree with you, especially using D as an example, which I love.

[00:17:55] I think you can handpick a lot of D's actions this game and say, D is horrible at this game and she's just foundering up. But then you can take other actions. You're like, no, she's one of the more dominant people to play this game. Like, and it's genuinely, to be honest, Taryn, and it's the truth, y'all. It just depends if she's successful or not, how history is going to remember it. Yeah, it's like, it's like, it's like putting on 3D glasses, right?

[00:18:18] Like, if you just look at one, if you're like, just looking at one angle and it's all the best angles, then it's like, yeah, this is, or it's, you know, it's like taking a, going to a photo shoot. And it's like, you get all the best angles taken of you versus like a random snapshot somewhere. And you're like, oh, it's the worst angles. Like, two people can look completely different based on the way you're looking at them.

[00:18:45] Because, yeah, she's done some really impressive stuff. And she's also done some things like the unnecessary lying about the vote flip on, you know, lyric and melody. And, you know, like, it's just like, it's interesting. Again, I'm really pleased with the week in terms of analysis. I think there's so many different angles to look at it from. So, I don't know if you can tell. As I'm one bullet point into my notes.

[00:21:39] Lala campaigns to bear it. Now, I've been talking about how I felt like Taylor, who historically has been pretty good about campaigning. I remember in the first week, I think it was another Mailbag podcast, where I talked about being impressed with the amount of talking that Taylor did as a first-week nominee. Ultimately, obviously, it was Ashley kind of tanking herself that helped sort of flip the scales.

[00:22:08] But part of the reason that those scales were flipped were because Taylor had integrated herself in well with that Rome group to the point that the Toolshed, what eventually became the Toolshed group, felt so scared to go against them because they would be upset if Taylor left, right? Yeah. It was kind of the idea. And I was like, you know, as a first-week nominee, it's kind of difficult to manage.

[00:22:33] And I liked how much Taylor kind of like picked and chose who to bond with and had enough bonds for that to be the case. And then subsequently, every time she's been on the block, she's been in a position where, you know, people aren't looking to take her out. And over time, that's kind of morphed more and more into like, well, they don't see her as much of a threat. And that's starting to become a bit of a weakness for her, as we'll get to today.

[00:22:59] But sort of because of that, I was expecting Taylor to do, to like get to some more campaigning. And what I found instead was that even though Taylor does campaign a bit, it was actually Lala who really was putting in work yesterday and has been putting in the work prior to yesterday as well, but like really was continuing to put, to go to work and campaign. And I've been pretty impressed with Lala's campaign this week.

[00:23:28] She had a long conversation with Angela a couple of days ago that we mentioned on the update where she campaigned to Angela. Angela said she wanted her to stay. And Angela gave her some advice that was like, hey, advocate for yourself because Lala doesn't want to campaign against Taylor. Just advocate for yourself. Say that you're a value add to your allies because you win competitions. And so that's what she's been doing. She campaigns to Barrett using that pitch. She says she's here and she's ready to fight. And she goes to Dee and she says the same thing.

[00:23:57] And Dee's like, you don't even need to campaign to me. And you have Angela, you know that. And Lala's like, well, I have talked to Barrett. I've talked to Melody, but they haven't really confirmed anything. And Dee gives her the same advice. You can pitch that you can win comps for people. Like maybe Yash would be receptive to that. And Angela joins and she agrees. She says you might be able to pull Yash by pitching that you're a good competitor. And so Lala's like, okay, I'm down to try Yash as well.

[00:24:28] And she also hopes that Devins, that they could get Devins on board to keep her if Devins was to win Blockbuster. Of course, she's pitching Taylor because she knows all the while, while she's doing this pitching to people like Dee and Angela, that she's secretly planning to vote Devins out if she wins the Blockbuster, which she believes that they don't want. But they actually do want it. It's a whole mess.

[00:24:58] And I genuinely love what Lala has been doing today, especially going to Barrett, Dee, Devins, like you said. And she loves to start her conversation with like, I'm not campaigning against Taylor. However, and then just advocate for herself, which I've like loved the entire time. And I think compare that to Taylor. And I think this might be just because Taylor feels she's safer. But Lala's giving these people reasons to want to keep her around. While Taylor just like, like to Dee, she said, hey, I'm good for your game. And just leaves it at that. And it's like, oh, OK.

[00:25:29] And? And what about it? Because Lala has been doing the work. Yeah, that pissed Dee off. Taylor, that pissed me off when I first heard it. I was like, OK, continue. And she's like, you know, this game's just ghetto. And I was like, Taylor, this is not how you campaign. I've seen you do it before. And like, that's why I also love about Lala. Like, even though she's sitting next to Devins and playing on voting for Devins, she still goes to Devins. She's putting in the time, the effort, and the face time. I like that Taylor is being social with the rest of the cast during the entire social group thing today.

[00:25:59] But like Taylor did not do enough actual good work in my hand, in my opinion, which is why I think she's like in a lot more trouble than she was just 24 hours ago. Yeah, and I think that what has worked for Taylor in the past, which is just developing these good personal bonds, is no longer cutting it quite as much. Because they are looking at like, what are you bringing to the table? And unfortunately, there's not as much there in terms of like track record

[00:26:29] for her to say that she's bringing something to the table. So she does talk to Dee. I think Taylor's best argument, like when she was up against Mallory, was her saying, there are people in the jury that will not vote for an icon if they get to the end. And I am one of them. We're now at the jury phase. What else can you do for me now? That's useless. You're going to be in the jury no matter what. So what else can you do? And Taylor's not giving them anything. Yeah. So she does talk to Dee. This is the conversation you were referring to. She's like, am I good if I'm next to Lala?

[00:26:58] And Dee's like, yeah. She's like, good. I don't want to campaign against her. And yeah, she's just like, she doesn't give Dee much. And Dee's very annoyed about that afterward. And she also like, she's like, is it okay if I cast a sympathy vote for Lala to stay against Evans? And Dee's like, I don't know, ask Evans.

[00:27:18] Like, so we don't see all of the conversations, obviously. But so I'm not entirely sure if Lala manages to like fully get the pitch into Yash prior to this. But Yash ends up talking to Barrett. And Yash says, and this is why we've been talking a lot about this. Sometimes, you know, I like to leave you in suspense.

[00:27:44] But sometimes I talk a lot about why a thing might happen because it's going to happen. That's the trick. Yash talks to Barrett in the gym. And he says, hey, Barrett. I've been having some intrusive thoughts lately. About how Lala actually wins things. You know?

[00:28:09] And how like, if you sit next to Taylor on the block, you go home. And if you sit next to Lala on the block, you stay. You know what I mean? And Barrett's like, yeah, but like we talk game with Taylor. Barrett, or sorry, no, Yash says, well, we talk game with Taylor. I don't know why I just changed the cadence of that.

[00:28:38] I don't know why, because it was different. It's a different cadence if it's a different person talking. Barrett says, well, Lala is close with Angela. Because Barrett is skeptical. He's got the skeptical cadence. Oh, yeah, but Lala is close with Angela. Isn't that concerning? And Yash is like, well, that's why we'd have the votes. If we decided it. Because Angela would vote to keep Lala. My main thing is that she can win competitions.

[00:29:05] And Taylor has just not shown any promise in that department. I'm just like, I did not expect Yash to want this. I was genuinely surprised to hear that Yash was even thinking about this. And at first, this conversation, this initial conversation, he frames it as intrusive thoughts. He frames it as, I'm just thinking about this. But I will spoil for you that he's pretty serious about it.

[00:29:33] And they're going to continue to have conversations throughout the day. We'll talk about them. That he is genuinely considering the idea of evicting Taylor over Lala. Now, this has been sort of foreshadowed a little bit. He had a conversation with Taylor. I think we talked about it where he was like, hey, I need you to start winning things, Taylor. And she was like, I know, I know. But he just has such a better relationship with Taylor. They're playing around with each other all day.

[00:30:03] Taylor loves Yash and isn't afraid to say it. And so I think, honestly, the main thing is that he... I think, again, the bribe kind of comes into play a little bit. Yash knows that he himself cannot target the icons. And in the event that Lala is on the block against Taylor, that means that Devins has stayed. He won the blockbuster, which means all three icons are still in the game. And I think that scares Yash because he still can't target any of them.

[00:30:32] And I think he feels like he needs a competitor that will be able to face off against them. This is where I personally feel like, and I've been saying this for over a week now, that I don't necessarily agree with the idea that Lala is definitively a better competitor than Taylor. Lala has won two things. Taylor has won one veto. They discount Taylor's veto win, which I think is, on one hand, very annoying.

[00:31:02] But on the other hand, I can understand the underlying thought behind it in the sense that Taylor's veto win is a very unique style of competition. I think it still takes some amount of skill. And I think that it was an impressive win, personally. But I can understand why they might say that's not a transferable skill, although that's not how they say it. They say it in a different way. Because that veto was one where you read people. And how many more reading people competitions are there going to be? She did come in second in a lot of competitions.

[00:31:32] We don't talk about that. That is my point, right? So the veto competition that Lala won, Taylor was a pretty decent, not that close to second place, but Taylor was second in that veto. If Lala wasn't there, Taylor wins that veto. And now Taylor has two wins instead of Lala, right? And Lala won the wall, yes. And Taylor did not perform amazingly in the wall. But Taylor has done decently enough in other competitions.

[00:32:00] Taylor, in general, has outperformed Lala in competitions in terms of just like raw placement. It's just that Lala has been able to win two, and Taylor's only won one. And so I personally think they're really overvaluing the two Lala wins. They are thinking that there might be another endurance competition coming, that that might favor Lala, which it might. And you know what? That might be a fair argument.

[00:32:27] But it kind of depends on what endurance competition as well. You know, so I just, I think for, if you're, if you're Yash, and you're thinking about Taylor versus Lala, I think that Lala's closeness to Angela and Dee is way more dangerous. And your closeness to Taylor, I think that's what I'm valuing more. Even if I give Lala an edge, a slight edge in competitions,

[00:32:56] I'm still going to want to keep Taylor personally. Um, I think my feeling is that he's overvaluing the competition angle and this other angle of like, if you sit next to Taylor, you leave. If you sit next to Lala, Lala leaves. I don't really agree with that either, especially because of what we've been talking. Dee and Angela are already wanting to keep Lala because they have a good relationship with her. Lala has better connections to the other side. Uh, so I don't even know that that's true.

[00:33:25] So I don't know that I agree with this from Yash. Like, here's my thing. And I think Taylor makes a comment at some point in the day. I think she was talking to Melody where she said, uh, what'd she say? It's good to have allies that win competitions. She's thinking this. Yash is also thinking this. So it's in the forefront that Taylor hasn't really won a lot of competitions. Um, and if you look at the side that Yash is building, him, Melody, Barrett, Taylor, Lala, take them out. Like, yes, Barrett has come close,

[00:33:54] a lot close to many competition wins. Um, but like Lala's the person who has the most victories of everyone left. Meanwhile, Taylor only has one. So I understand where Yash is thinking about this. Cause I think Yash should think about it. I think just because, um, Taylor's loyal to you, we are in a point in the game where, um, is loyalty enough? What else can, um, Taylor bring to the table? And I, and I agree with you. I don't think it's as much what Taylor brings. It's just what Lala loses with her connections to Angela. Cause I think everyone's assuming like,

[00:34:24] oh, Lala's going to just nominate Angela. She gets power. I don't think Lala's nominating Angela. I think Angela's in the end game with Lala if Lala has things going her way. So I think this is a, it's an interesting, um, thought experiment from Yash. I'm not mad at Yash for thinking this. Um, personally, I just think Taylor is just so much more valuable to Yash, especially because when it comes to, um, who goes home, I think if Yash was on the block and the vote comes, he goes home and say, that's to anybody at this point in time.

[00:34:54] And if he doesn't, I think they're foolish for keeping him in the game, like full stop. Well, there's a whole, there's a whole Barrett can talk about that. So we'll, uh, we'll be able to dive in. Um, so that's why I think his Lala thing, like a Lala, Lala goes home. Taylor stays. Invalid. It's an incorrect thought process. Also stop trying to nominate folks. Stop nominating or trying to evict your number one allies. It's generally a bad idea. It's generally a dumb decision to make. Like Taylor would like Taylor is the only person in this game, Taryn that in her ideal final three, Yash is there.

[00:35:24] Everyone else. Yeah. Yash is gone. So yeah. Yeah. And I agree. I, I just think Taylor's loyalty to Yash is, is more valuable than a slight comp edge. I really do. Um, but listen, people just, they love evicting their allies. And listen, Lala is also an ally. So, um, D and Angela talk. Uh, and they're still, of course, um, they've got two agendas. One, keep Lala as well. Two, evict Devin's.

[00:35:54] Turns out they're in lockstep with the rest of the house. There's two separate corners of the house that are both trying to blindside and work against the other to achieve the exact same objectives. Like. And meanwhile, Drew's in the middle, the only person in the house who has an opposite agenda, opposite agenda to everyone else and has no idea that everyone else is secretly working against it. Unbeknownst to themselves. Unbeknownst to themselves.

[00:36:24] He's like, yeah, Devin's a stain in every case scenario. And like, you know what? Lala can go if she, if Devin wins, it's okay. No skin off my back. Like Drew is in his own little world, which is like so sad for Drew. It's, it's, it's, this has to be one of the funniest house setups for a week. It's so wild. Uh, just like the layout of the land here. Um, so D and Angela talk. They say, D's like, we need to convince Devin. He's like, we need to keep Lala.

[00:36:54] Uh, we can, we can pitch it to him. Like, Hey, this is you choosing between us and the boys. Cause the boys would want Lala out. And we want Lala to stay. Um, and so that's, you know, how they plan to pitch it. They don't end up pitching it that way to Devin's. Don't worry. Um, and then Angela has also been thinking, she says, well, here's, here's my thought for when we vote Devin's out, assuming he loses the blockbuster. We should just tell the boys that Devin's was playing both sides, that he was, that he was coming back to us.

[00:37:24] And then he was coming back to you, D and saying that you, D you're my real number one. And I'm lying to them. Um, and he's like, well, that doesn't make sense because why would I vote him out if he's my number one? Good question. Uh, but also that's not a big enough reason to cut him. I need something bigger. Uh, she says one of the things she's been thinking about is blaming. And then, and I like this actually, she says, blaming him for the Mallory thing saying he's the one that convinced me to

[00:37:51] take out Mallory and then painted me out to be the bad guy and him to be the good guy. That's all true. Like full stop. Now he didn't do it to be selfish. In my opinion, I think he did it because he thought it was best for the both of them, but, but it, it, it's true. And it, and it really works and lands. I think that there's a world where she could make that case. Now, would they believe her is another question, especially because it's very easy to paint somebody who's not there to defend themselves in a bad light,

[00:38:20] but that's part of the idea. And she also says, listen, Angela, I, I don't, I don't think I can go in there and vote him out. I, my heart can't do that. So when you do, we'll just need to figure out a way for like me to help explain why you did it. And Angela's like, well, but then it's all on me. And she's like, that's listen, we'll figure it out. We'll, we'll figure it out. Taryn,

[00:38:50] the gumption on this woman, the gumption on this woman to be plotting her closest ally demise and say, but I'm not gonna be a part of it. You know, you, you got this. You do this, Angela. Listen, we just need to explain why you would do such a thing. What are we doing? Like, he was on one when she said that I was like, no, Angela, you need to shut this down. And I'm glad Angela said, you know, we both got to do this. Like, I'm glad Angela like spit on that,

[00:39:19] but like D gosh, darn. Yeah. I think Angela has like caught on by now that like, uh, she always takes the fall for these things. And, uh, and also probably that it's a little rich that he's like, Devin's is trying to play good guy. Uh, and that's why I'm voting him out. Well, why you're voting him out while I play good guy. Cause also like, here's what I think. D gets nothing from this.

[00:39:48] Like these not benefited from this. Cause Angela's going to tell Devin's like, yeah, D was behind it. She wanted to do as why is he that is still going to be upset when he hears that. Barrett is not going to believe you. Drew is not going to believe you. Like you don't have enough credibility to pull this off. I feel like it's, again, it's, it's such a survivor thing to be like, well, I didn't write your name down. Um, and like things move so quickly that sometimes that actually kind of works on survivor. Uh, that like, like,

[00:40:17] I really didn't want this to happen, but I didn't do it. Um, and, and like, there's maybe some plausible deniability there, but I, but on big brother, I feel like it doesn't usually work that way. Sometimes like the symbolic, not voting for a person can work. Uh, but, and maybe it will, you know, maybe because Devin's is survivor coded, maybe it does work on Devin's, right? Look at Barry. Barry knew Mallory was going. He didn't vote for,

[00:40:46] got a lot of credibility for it. True. Yeah. So it does work sometimes. It's just, he's not in a position for it to work in my opinion. Maybe we'll see. You know what? either of things has happened. Yes. Uh, Barrett was doing a camera talk in the gym. Yes. Uh, and he says he does not agree with Yash. He does not want to keep Lala around. Um, he, uh, he honestly,

[00:41:14] he says Yash's argument that she's a better competitor is exactly why he doesn't want her to stay. Um, he doesn't want a better competitor around. Plus he knows that she has a good relationship with Angela and he's skeptical about that. I think he's right to be worried about these things that not about the better competitor thing, as I've already said. But, uh, but I do think that Lala's closeness to Angela is a worry because if Taylor is gone and Lala is in the house and let's say they do then eventually get out Devins.

[00:41:43] Does Lala side with Yash and Melody and Barrett? Maybe. But what happens if you get out Devins and then you also get out Yash, which is kind of what you want? Hmm. Does Lala side with Barrett and Melody and Drew? I don't think so. I think she sides with Angela and Dee. Uh, and so I do think that, yeah, it's probably a little bit better to keep Taylor around if you are Barrett.

[00:42:12] Although there's the other argument, which is if you are trying to get out Yash, which he kind of is, we'll talk about that in just a moment. Uh, then Taylor is really loyal to Yash and a good ally for him. So if he wants to take out his own ally and make it easier to take him out, maybe you let him. Um, so I think there's an argument to me made there too. It's really just for Barrett. It's this matter of like, there are two sides and they are both too strong still. And you need to figure out the best method of weakening both, uh,

[00:42:40] without empowering the other too much at any given point. And so, uh, it's kind of a tough road regardless. I'll be honest with you. And listen, I'm not saying snitching work is don't always work. Uh, people often go back to the people that you snitch on comma, but I think you can try Barrett melody going to Taylor and be like, after like, she stays on Thursday and be like, yeah, but it was a while that y'all just came to us Wednesday night. And it was like pushing very hard for you to go home.

[00:43:11] I don't, I don't think that would work on Taylor. I think that she is too personally close to Yash that like, I think Yash could go up to her and be like, I'm not going to lie. I did consider it because we need competitors, but ultimately you stay, you know, I feel like she just, she's just isn't close enough to anybody else in the house to, to properly go anywhere, you know? Um, that's fair, but who knows? Who knows? Uh, so Barrett continues talking to the cameras. He says,

[00:43:40] if Devins wins the blockbuster, this is another thing about keeping Lala. At least he'll be voting with the crossovers by keeping Lala or sorry, by voting out Lala. And it will seem like we were together because Barrett doesn't know that they actually also want Lala. Sorry. Lala to stay. Yeah. he's like, I'll be voting with the crossovers if Devins wins. And that'll be like, you know, good to, to, to pretend I'm still with them. Um, but actually they're going to want him to vote for Lala to stay. Turns out that'll be interesting.

[00:44:10] He says he gets where Yash is coming from, but it's gotta be Devins or Lala this week. And if it's a double eviction, this is his plan, which would also seemingly double as what his plan would be for. If it weren't a double eviction, he just wanted to win the HH. Uh, he is assuming not just double eviction. There'd only be two noms. Um, but also kind of, they're all assuming that the blockbuster surely, surely will end soon. Um, I don't know why Barrett thinks this given what happened last season. Um,

[00:44:41] Barrett, I think of all people would kind of should kind of realize that probably won't end soon or yet at least, but a double eviction, it certainly would not be in play. So if it were a double eviction, he would nominate D and Angela. Then if Yash, I saw a miracle doesn't win a veto. Oh, wait, actually, can I convince Melody to vote out Yash? If we take out Devins, I mean, if we took out Devins and Yash in the same night, that would be amazing. I, let's see. I need three votes.

[00:45:12] Let me, it's not going to work. The votes aren't there to take out Yash. Okay. What if I put up Angela and Lala? Yeah. Take down Angela, Yash versus Lala, D Angela drew vote out Yash. But that means that I, you know, the veto has to be used on Angela. If it's used on Lala, it doesn't work. Um, I, I have to keep the icons off the block,

[00:45:39] but then the risk is if I put up like Taylor and Lala or Lala and melody, if Yash wins the veto. Okay. If Yash wins the veto, I just tell him to use it. I put up the year Angela, send out, send out an icon. Okay. So that's kind of the plan, I guess. Temporarily. Oh, I do think this is a fruitless, um, road to go down. Considering that the, the, BBB, um, it's not going to end. However, I,

[00:46:09] I, I do like it. I do like the thought process of keeping the icons off the block and trying to either the idea of keeping the icons off the block and having someone like a Lala on the block and, or a, or at least I Lala and Angela on the block will guarantee that like, okay, Yash has to win it. And if Yash win it, he'll pull down someone else and we can nominate the, take D out here. However, however, if Yash doesn't win it, someone else can win the, um, veto, take down Lala,

[00:46:39] put up Yash. We take Yash out of here. Like, I love the idea of like back door. Why I love that door. I love the idea of like taking either, whether it's D or Yash, taking out one of the bigger competition threats in the game. Um, so that way your chances of winning future competitions later on are better. So I love the thought process. I'm like that. He's thinking, I think we got to think in reality for a minute, but it shows that like bear is just not satisfied with like, okay, I'm flipping on the icons just to flip on icons. He's actually like, no, I need to set myself up.

[00:47:07] So that way I'm in the best position to make my way to the end and win the game. So I love the camp out from Barry, even though I didn't love all the conclusions he came to. I love the thought process. Yeah. I think, um, I, I completely agree that Yash should be the priority for most people in that house, especially if Devin's is to leave. Um, and you know, little did they know, even if doesn't Evans doesn't leave, Yash is still a problem for them because he can't nominate the icons. Um, now there are a couple of interesting things here. Number one,

[00:47:36] it actually might work better than he thinks to side with the icons against Yash next week, because the icons won't actually be that mad at him for voting out Devins because they want to vote out Devins. However, he might also be surprised by the fact that those votes that he expects for Yash to leave might not be there because D might not vote Yash out, especially if Devins is gone. She might feel like she wants Yash in the game because he can't nominate her. Uh,

[00:48:05] and so he might try to backdoor Yash only to find out that he's blindsided by Yash staying. So like, this is what I mean when it's like, there's so many moving pieces to this house right now. And then it's so fascinating. Um, so anyway, this is Barrett's current thought process. Very, uh, good to know. Happy to have these camera talks. Um, Devins ends up interrupting. They talk about Lala versus Taylor. They both agree. Lala should be going out. Um, then detox to the cameras.

[00:48:34] And it's like camera talks abound, right? Um, she says it's tough because part of her keeps thinking it's too early to make this move on Devins. But another part of her thinks if I don't do it now, is he going to strike at her first? And then, and then she'll regret having not taken the shot. And she's worried. She's worried that he's going to pick drew and Barrett over her. What? What if all this is in my head? Oh no.

[00:49:03] Now it's really funny because as she's doing this, she's in her bed, which is the bed that's like not in a room. It's just like next to the wardrobe in the storage room. Um, she's in bed and like every time she hears somebody potentially coming, she like rolls over, pretends to be sleeping. Like every, it's like at least 20 times in, in like 30 minutes. Uh, and half the time somebody was coming half the time. Somebody wasn't coming.

[00:49:31] And she hides for no reason. And it was just really symbolic to me in a conversation where she's talking about, is this in my head? Am I just, am I going crazy? Oh, and it's just like, I don't think Devin's would turn on you. I do think this is the wrong read. Uh, but sometimes, you know, her reads have been correct. Sometimes she's been like a properly paranoid. Um, and it's just, it's,

[00:49:59] it's another thing that I've found so interesting about this house is that it's a very paranoid house. Um, she says, I need Devin's for the, in the jury. He's going to be my main ally in the jury. I know he'll work my hair, his ass off in there for me. They've had a conversation apparently where they both agreed to lie and say that everything was the other person's idea. If one of them is on the jury, meaning if Devin's is on the jury and D makes it to the final two, Devin's is going to say D ran my game.

[00:50:28] She gave me every idea. She pushed me to do every move. D is a mastermind and vice versa. If Devin's makes it to the end and D's in the jury, she'll say all of those things for Devin's. And after she explains that and how valuable that would be for her, she goes, you know, it's weird that he wanted to have that conversation with me. Now that I think about it, just another reason why I'm suspicious of him, which to be fair, that is a weird conversation to have. Although it is a valuable one to have.

No. But you love nothing more than having, like, a close ally in the jury advocating for you. And even, like, discrediting your game to pump them up. Like, I think that's a good way to set up an ally who is leaving or is on the verge of leaving. Especially if you're not the reason why they're about to leave. Particularly that part. And that's the thing. She doesn't need to do any of this.

[00:53:59] She doesn't need to vote him out. And so, like, she has this incredibly valuable ally sitting on the jury. And it won't be her fault at all if she doesn't vote him out. And doesn't have Angela vote him out. But she does plan to. But there's also value in being part of the vote. Because then it's easier to work with the House afterward, too. So, like, you know, I think there's a world where she can say, she's like, actually, I knew that Barrett was flipping.

[00:54:26] And so, I just voted with the House. Even though she didn't. But I think here's, like, I believe Dee's biggest issue. And you can correct me if you think I'm incorrect. Like, she put herself in such an echo chamber where she only really taught games to Angela and Dennis at this point. Like, she does not talk to Barrett or Drew. At least not this week. She hasn't. She hasn't been talking to other people. So, she hasn't been able to fill out other people. To get at least a read. Even if they're not being honest with you.

[00:54:52] To get an understanding of where they're standing or what their motivations are this week. And I feel like if she was able to talk to them. I'll be honest with you. Taryn, I've never played poker with any of these people. I would gladly play poker with all of them. Because I don't think they're good at it. So, I think she could, like, get an idea that something could be amiss. Because they already are getting it without even talking to them. So, just like talking to them. She can learn a lot more. And I think she can move more properly. Yeah. Well, she says this. She says, I don't think I can sit there and say I evict Devens.

[00:55:22] But Angela can. It would be crazy if Barrett did it. If he's been playing Devens these past few days, that would be scary. You know, they've spent so much time together. Devens is probably telling them, like, oh, D does whatever I say. And Angela's wrapped around my finger. Well, nuh-uh. He's not saying that. She says she's going to blame everything that they've been mad about on Devens. We talked about this already.

[00:55:51] Devens' fault that Mallory left. And she says at this point, she says, I'm going to get close to Yash. Because he's a good competitor. And secretly work with him. Can't nominate me anyway. So, this is that Yash plan that we've already talked about. And this is, again, it's like, it's interesting to hear this camera talk from D, where she's, I think, very wrong about some of the reads she has on Devens, while also talking about some very interesting strategy moving forward about trying to actually pull Yash if Devens leaves.

[00:56:20] Which I think could be valuable, could also be dangerous. Again, you know, Yash could be hard to beat. But if it works properly, like there's a world where she's in a final three with Yash, and he has to take her to the final two. Now, do you want to sit next to Yash in the final two? No. No. But like, it would be kind of interesting. Yes. You say you don't want to sit next to Yash in the final two. And I agree 100%. Devens is voting for D.

[00:56:49] I think Angel is voting for D. Drew can vote for D. Right, if she plays it right. You just need to pull one more. Like, I agree. I think Yash is the most dangerous person in the final two, besides Devens. Comma, but it's not like he's running away with it by miles. And I do think, I think there's a world where D can stand up there. Oh, sorry, not even just a world. There's a world where Devens is in the jury. And everyone's like, why is she taking Yash so far? She's such a stupid idiot. Yash is going to beat everyone. And Devens goes,

[00:57:18] no, she's the one leading Yash. He can't nominate. He's forced to take her. And they go, whoa. Right? So I don't know. It's certainly not a foregone conclusion, I would say, though I do think Yash would have Taylor, Lala, and probably Melody. But I don't know about Melody. So anyway, Dee and Angela talk to Devens. And they ask him how he's feeling.

[00:57:47] And he says, you know, if I was on Survivor, I'd be really worried. Because I feel really good. And that's when you get blindsided on Survivor. Yeah. But it's Big Brother. So I feel good. In Devens defense, there's not many blindsides to happen on Big Brother. They're not common. In the blockbuster era, they are a lot more common, I will say. They are a lot more common, but that's because, yeah, I agree. Because you have to talk to everyone because you don't know who's waiting to

[00:58:17] S, Y, Z. So I get that. Comma, but like Barrett and Drew are also like doing a real good job, partially because Drew thinks he is Thane. And Barrett because he's trying to pretend that everything goes okay when everything is not okay. So I think, like, Devens has a good reason to feel like he's comfortable. With that being said, I would not feel comfortable going to a tie vote. So I would try to, like, lock in everyone else there. But, you know, that's just a me thing. Yeah, he says, he says, honestly,

[00:58:46] I think even Yash might keep me at this point because he knows the votes aren't there. So he's feeling pretty good. And they're like, oh, really? You think, you think Yash would vote for you? Yeah, I think, I think, you know, he doesn't want to vote against the House. He knows the votes aren't there. He knows Drew's going to break a tie. They're like, oh, interesting. Ah, yeah, yeah. Then they continue the conversation. They ask him about Lala versus Taylor. He says he wants Lala out. She's the better competitor.

[00:59:14] And the boys are nervous about Angela's relationship to Lala. And Angela's like, well, you know, Taylor's due for a win here, which is what I've been saying. She says, also with Taylor, all three of us are definitely going up. With Lala, we at least have a chance of not being put up. And Devin's is like, yeah, I just, I don't want to create any kind of distrust with the boys when I'm relying on their votes to stay. And they're like, all right, okay. After he leaves, they're like, damn it.

[00:59:45] Is Yash going to vote to keep him? What do we do? Wait, if Yash votes to keep him, then, then it might be a tie again. And Drew might keep him. Like, do we, do we, what if he's right about Yash keeping him? And he's like, I didn't even think about this. And they're like, okay, so do we talk to Melody and see if she's willing to make sure she's going to vote out Devin's? Because what if Melody doesn't vote out Devin's also like, then do maybe we talk to you, but if we talk to people,

[01:00:12] then we might get caught trying to flip the vote. Um, do we both just have to, we both just have to vote him out. Right. I guess. Right. Like we, we definitely both have to do it now because we can't risk not having the votes. And then they eventually realized, okay, here's what we'll do. If he loses the blockbuster last minute. And it's like, this is always the plan. Last minute. We'll go to Yash. We'll go to Melody. And we'll be like, Hey, the votes are there. They voted to take out that you're voting out Devin's. Right.

[01:00:42] And then they'll vote out Devin's and that will be the game plan. Uh, or, or, or we could, we could talk to Yash and see where he said that. You know, I mean, I do think that is risky if you go to Yash, because Yash might then go, Hey, Devin's they want to vote you out. Sure. Sure. You can say that.

[01:01:07] Devin's has shown a loyalty to D and Angela that makes them blind to everything that they do. And whenever they do screw them over, he's like, you know, it's okay because it's for the group. So it's like, so it's like, that's my thing. I think you want, you want to get cute with it. You want to like do the blind size. I love it. Good TV, good entertainment. I like the energy, but if you, the game could be a lot simpler. If you just like try to like, not wait to the last minute and just like feel things out or talk to people. Like, I like that D and Angela,

[01:01:36] like are paranoid and be trying to do stuff last minute. It's not a good look in my opinion. I don't think it's a good look. I just really like this idea of like Barrett and Yash and melody and, you know, Taylor Lala being like, here we go. Devin's lost the blockbuster. They're about to get blindsided. And then Angela and D come up to them. Like, we need to vote out Devin's.

[01:02:07] You, but, but you want to vote out. Okay. But yes, I get what, maybe, maybe it'll be fun. Who knows? We'll see tonight. Yash talks with melody and Barrett. Melody's asking them where they're at with the Lala versus Taylor vote. And Yash says, I've been thinking about it. I've been thinking we should evict Taylor.

[01:02:35] I think Lala wins comps and you're less likely to go home sitting next to Lala. Melody's like, I was kind of thinking the same, but I didn't think you'd be on board, Yash. And also, I don't know that we have the votes. Yash is like, well, we can talk to Angela. He's like, honestly, the more I've thought about it, the more I think that this is the call. I was like, all right, let's do it then. Um, and they talk a little more about it later and they really lock in. Like they, this is what they're doing.

[01:03:04] Barrett is still like he's committing with them, but he clearly isn't like super happy about it. Uh, or it doesn't seem to be at least. Um, and they just need to make sure that they actually do have the vote. So they might need to talk to Angela. Now, if they do talk to Angela about this, Angela will be on board. This can happen, but it's not locked in yet. Uh, so this is also a vote flip from two sides that hasn't actually locked in. But these conversations are all coming today on Thursday.

[01:03:34] Um, and in the meantime, yes, go ahead. And this was a part of the feast you were not watching. Um, while they're having good old funds, they were doing one of the TikTok trends of, you know, when one friend pretends to be the serial killer and you run away and see if you can escape them. They were doing that. And they did that upstairs with Rick Devens being the serial killer. And everyone was able to escape Rick Devens. Except for Taylor. Taylor was the only person not able to do it. And I feel like there's a non-zero chance. Y'all saw that. It's like,

[01:04:04] see, she can't even win a stupid TikTok trend game. How is she going to win a challenge? Fair enough. Fair enough. Um, D and Angela have one more conversation about if Devens wins, they have to run with the crossovers, but they will still plan to confront Devens about being with the boys over them. Uh, that, that is, and again, like, this is like,

[01:04:34] not a good idea. No. Um, but it probably won't happen in the way that they're talking about it happening. So just worth pointing out that they talked about it, but we'll see what actually happens. Then of course we have our, uh, nightly Melody and Drew, uh, love fest for hours and hours late into the night. Um, there is a little bit of talk about the Lala and Taylor vote. She brings up that they've, that she's been talking with Yash and Barrett about it. She says, I,

[01:05:04] my thing about Lala versus Taylor is that everyone goes home. If you sit next to Taylor, he agrees with that. He's like, that's a fair point. And she says, Yash approached me about keeping Lala. And I kind of agree. Um, and he's like, yeah, my only thing though, is that I feel better about Taylor, not nominating me versus Lala. Uh, because in his mind, Taylor nominates all three icons. Um, and Lala doesn't because she might not nominate Angela. Uh, same exact argument Angela made, but just he's on the other side of it. Um, but he says,

[01:05:34] to be fair, he's just assuming, uh, he does agree that the scariest thing on eviction night would be sitting next to Taylor. Uh, and, and he asks her like, well, how, what does Barrett think about this? And she says, Barrett agrees, which should be another red, uh, red flag for Drew. Um, she says, we've like maybe got three votes, but obviously, you know, you would potentially break a tie. Uh, so, you know, I figured I'd bring it up to you. And he says, you know, I honestly, I'd still prefer Lala to go. I just,

[01:06:03] I just don't think she would put Angela up. So, that's kind of how that conversation goes. They spend the rest of the night hanging out, flirting, holding hands, all that. Yeah. Nonsense. Yeah. Which I, I think I agree with Drew, um, that Lala is better for his personal pause. I think both Taylor and Lala will put up true full stop. Yeah. Deal. So I don't think there's a big difference, um, between the two, but I think I agree with Drew's analysis.

[01:06:33] Like there's a chance that like Taylor nominates the three icons and Drew's the replacement nominee versus Lala who will have drew up from the start of the, um, nomination ceremony. So I think Drew is correct. Um, I love how melody still lying to him though, about everything else about the Devon's old and like, yeah, she has not told him a thing about Devon's leaving. No, no, no. So I, I like through putting in his two cents, but like drew has become so irrelevant to like what is happening in the house right now. It's like, he had a whole cam talk.

[01:07:03] It's not even worth talking about. Cause he's just completely in the dark. It does not know what's happening with anything. And I like all the, and here's the thing. First part, the signs are all there for drew. Like I, I think besides today, people don't really like been interacting with you at all. Like none of the allies, except for maybe the biggest red flag in the world for both drew and Devon's that nobody has even bothered to try pitching him to evict Devon's. They haven't even tried. They've,

[01:07:32] they have not been like drew. You really need to make this move against, Devon's. You really need to make this happen. You're what your game is going to, none of it. They're not trying to get him to evict Devon's because they don't need him to evict Devon's. And he should be aware of that. When you are a, when you are supposed to be breaking a tie, those people should be coming up to you pitching. You are the swing vote and nobody's talking to you. That means you're not the swing vote. So.

[01:08:02] Red flags. Red flags. Yeah. All right. AJ, anything else to talk about from yesterday? There's two things I would like to pick your brain. Yes. Well, okay. First thing I like to say, something silly, stupid. Another thing that happened while you were not watching the feed. So, so they were talking, I don't know what they were talking about. They were talking about boring stuff. And D grabs a box of lucky charms. And it's an unopened box. But instead of peeling the top open,

[01:08:32] like a normal person does, Taryn, she rips it off. So. Like both, both things? Like rips it off, Taryn. And everyone stops in their tracks. Like, D, what the heck did you just do? Like, that is not a normal thing. D's like, wait, what's wrong? I didn't do anything wrong. Taryn, that is an insane way to open a box of cereal. That is, that is ridiculous. I agree. So like, not only bad food takes from this group, but also bad opening stuff from this group. Hey, listen, that's, that's,

[01:09:03] that's actually a pet peeve of mine. Not people that just rip the whole thing. Cause I haven't even experienced that, but people are just like, just like tear open cereal boxes and leave it like destroyed. Yes. I like, you know, I like to cleanly get it open. Yes. Nice and neat. They have tabs for a reason. So you can insert it. So it's all nice and perfect and good. Like don't destroy the box. Yeah. Like you, you pick open as you,

[01:09:32] you pick up a cereal box and it's like, like folding in half. Cause the top is so like structurally damaged from whatever they did to open it. It's like, what are we doing? What are we doing here? There. Oh, and the, but the game thing is, cause we talked about how this is the Lala Taylor world we're living in, how it would be smart for Yasha Lala. And it's smart for Angela and D to Vick Taylor. But the two swing votes, Baron and Melody.

[01:09:58] What is their best opinion in the Lala versus Taylor situation? I mean, I would say again, I, you know, it's, it's genuinely tough because I think on one hand, Lala is closer to Angela and that's dangerous. Um, on the other hand, Taylor is closer to, uh, Yash. And that's dangerous. Um, and I actually, I, I must've missed it in here. I, I'm sure I wrote in my notes. Uh, so I must've accidentally skipped. Yeah.

[01:10:28] Taylor and Melody talked. Um, and I accidentally skipped that conversation. So thank you for bringing this up. Taylor and Melody had a conversation in the HOH room and Taylor, uh, asked if Drew was, would come back to them if Devin's left. And Melody was like, I think so. He was like, you know, it would be tough. Of course though. He's, you know, cause they already have like a five. He'd be, uh, and Melody's like, yeah, he'd be at the bottom. And Taylor's like, you're, you'd really be okay with that. And she's like, yeah, I mean, you know, I like Drew and I want to work with him, but you know,

[01:10:58] he hasn't been on our side. Um, and they, they talk about Yash and how they both really like Yash. And Taylor says to Melody, Yash can take us to the final three. And part of me wondered if that comment is part of what got Melody's brain thinking as well about maybe Taylor needing to go and why she wouldn't assume that Yash would be on board for Taylor to go. Because if I'm Melody and Taylor's telling me Yash will take us to the final three,

[01:11:27] I'm like, I really don't want that to happen. I don't want to be in a final three of Yash and Taylor. Not that that would happen, but the fact that Taylor's very happy to go to find like pitching to me, like I should be happy with Yash bringing us to the final three. That tells me Taylor is never turning on Yash. Um, and, uh, and that Yash may never turn on Taylor and turns out Yash is willing to turn on Taylor. And what does that say? And so, uh, like that's definitely not something that I'm happy to hear if I'm

[01:11:57] Melody. Uh, now again, I don't know if she had any kind of actual adverse reaction to this. She didn't say anything about it. Um, but, uh, but it's part of why Taylor staying is probably good for Yash. Lala staying is probably good for Angela. And so it's kind of like pick your poison. Um, you know, both staying are decently okay for you in different ways, but they also both have different, um, you know, different downsides. So it's tough. It's tough choice. See, in my opinion, cause, and this is where I'm coming from. Um,

[01:12:27] and this is like a very hard world for me to envision comma, but like Taylor is one of Melody's better final two options. And I don't think Melody has a lot of good. That's true. That's true. So I don't think Melody should be gung ho about eliminating Taylor. Now Barrett, on the other hand, it was more of a toss up for me because Barrett plans on picking out Yash soon. And you do not want Taylor around if you're taking out Yash, because one will Taylor come back to you. If you take a shot at Yash, um,

[01:12:57] and two, you take a shot at Yash. You don't want to be in a position where Taylor is the reason why you cannot successfully take that shot. So like the Barrett question was a lot harder for me. I guess the counterpoint to that is if Yash is, once you'd get rid of Yash, Taylor is even more valuable because she's no longer linked to him. Um, so if you take Taylor out because, because of her connection to Yash, and then you just take out Yash right after, then you never needed to take out Taylor potentially. Um,

[01:13:27] but you're right that she might, you know, depending on how it happens, uh, or your ability to make it happen, that could also be a problem. Um, so, uh, so yeah. And then, you know, I, I think I would lean toward evicting Lala if I were Taylor, if I were Melody and Barrett, um, because I think it's still, it still hurts Yash. It also hurts the, the icons who still have all three of them there, given that Barrett,

[01:13:55] the given that Evans would have won the blockbuster in this instance. Um, and, uh, and I do, I agree. I think that like Taylor sitting in the end with Taylor, granted, I think the same is probably true of Lala, but I think that like, uh, I'd rather be having, I'd rather have an end game with Taylor right now than what I, I don't even know. Cause again, I really do think that Taylor is maybe even more capable than Lala at winning some of the end game competitions. Uh, Lala is just going to win maybe some endurance ones, but there aren't that many endurance ones.

[01:14:25] There's a lot more run and gun question comps, right? Yes. that I think Taylor would be better at. So, um, I, I don't know. I go back and forth clearly. Um, it's hard. Yes. They want us to talk about the farts. So again, while you were not watching, I did, I did see this part. I did. Okay. Okay. You can take over, but I'd be happy for, I'd be happy to have you, basically cause I just saw, I saw the clip of this, uh, that, um,

[01:14:54] they're hiding, um, in the, uh, in, in like the shower, the shower. Um, and, uh, and Drew comes in thinking he's alone, uh, and just, let's one out. No, he goes into like the little toilet one, let's one out. And everyone just starts laughing. And Drew has to dart out the, of the toilet room. It really, there's a, this is a deep,

[01:15:24] uh, cut. There's a show, uh, an old, old show now, uh, called coupling is a British show by Stephen Moffat, who went on to do doctor who, uh, and one of the best episodes of that show had a very similar scene where, um, where there was like a surprise party being thrown for a guy. And, uh, and he like gets into the room and just starts like taking off his clothes and they're all just like there. Uh, it was, it was like,

[01:15:54] it was genuinely like written for a sitcom. This, it was, it was funny. It was hilarious. Especially them being packed in there together just for so long. And pause. I'm going to say like rude for them to later on be like, Drew, where are you going to go poop in there? Like, yes, he was. And let me tell you this too. I'm sure this as embarrassing. I'm sure as it was like, uh,

[01:16:21] Drew's been wanting people to like hang out in the HOH room and like, like the, like this whole time. And so, uh, I'm sure all this, this like house bonding stuff made Drew very happy. Oh, a hundred percent. Especially cause he was like in the midst of it through all the games and the conversations and stuff up until DR took him out, which gave them the opportunity to pull the prank. Hmm. So yeah. Um, all right. Uh, so,

[01:16:50] so that's about what we have for you here today. Um, just again, just like it's, it's a fun week, uh, of strategy. So many different decisions being made so many different factions of the house going in all kinds of different directions. Um, it's been really interesting to see. And tonight we're going to see it all go down in the blockbuster competition. Will Devins save himself and we'll get to this Lala Taylor vote,

[01:17:18] which is also an interesting one at this point, or will Devins lose the blockbuster, get blindsided and, uh, and have the whole house maybe potentially unanimously. Which will be insane. Which will be ridiculous. Uh, followed by Barrett, maybe trying to take out Yash. Yash may be throwing the HOH cause he can't target the icons or maybe now winning the HOH cause he's got a little more leeway. Uh, you know, there's all kinds of things, uh, up in the air here tonight.

[01:17:47] And I'm very excited to, uh, to get to it all and to talk through more of the, uh, the, the strategy, more of the strategy of this, of this game. It's going to be fun. Like shout out to D and Andrew for burning Barrett, uh, because they really made this end game a lot more interesting. Yes. Yes. All right. So, uh, stay tuned tonight. I'll be live on my Patreon on Twitch and on YouTube, uh, streaming tonight's episode. So stay tuned for that. We did talk to Haley this morning.
