BB28 Thursday Live Feed Update September 17, 2026

Big Brother 28 is two weeks from the finale, and the pressure is on as the house braces for a double eviction that will shrink the field from seven to five. Hosts Taran Armstrong and Maggie break down all the latest moves in this Recap episode, with strategy talks, vote math, and uneasy alliances setting the stage for a dramatic night.

[00:00:10] Good Morning, Aaron Armstrong, Talk Big Brother, Looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH. You know he is the reason, you know what's happened. Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again.

[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 17. I'm your host, Aaron Armstrong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 72 in the house and we are officially two weeks away from the finale.

[00:01:10] And there's a decent amount to talk about today as the there was a lot more strategy talk a lot more prep for tonight's double eviction that will go from seven players down to five. And with me to talk about it all Maggie. How you doing Maggie? Hi, Taryn. I'm great. Big day today. Less of a big day yesterday, but big day tonight. And oh, I'm ready. I'm pumped. I have my snacks.

[00:01:37] I have my anxiety already. Very, very exciting. And I think that yesterday's feeds that we're going to talk about kind of separated the players from the people who are who I'm not sure are going to make it through this evening.

[00:02:01] And I can't wait to kind of get into all of it. Yes, yes. Lots of we'll try to get you as updated as possible for what will likely happen tonight, though. Not all of it is completely locked in at this point. In fact, it might confuse you a little further, unfortunately, but it'll be the latest. There's some reads that are like a little hard, like I'm having a tough time with a couple of people trying to figure out exactly what they're going to do.

[00:02:31] But yeah. Yes. All right. Well, as you know, of course, Yash, the H.O.H. nominated Barrett, Drew and Melody. Drew came off the block. Taylor was forced up. Barrett or Melody will likely be the evictees tonight in the first round of eviction. It just depends on if Barrett wins the blockbuster. If he does not, he is the intended target.

[00:02:54] That was the plan at the start of the day. And despite a little bit of conversation, it does remain the plan at the end of the day. So don't worry too much about that, that we will talk about that conversation. There's a chance that today something happens if Barrett can recognize the position that he's in. But that would mean that he would need to be more active today than he has been for the past week and a half. So we'll see. I mean, you know, you never know. It's eviction days.

[00:03:23] And that's when the house goes a little nuts. So we'll see. Yes. And then the plan for the double eviction for Taylor is to ideally kind of take out Drew, but Devin's is the backup target. That's the plan coming in today. For D and Devin's, it depends on whether Barrett or Melody stay. If Barrett stays, Drew and Barrett were the intended nominee nominees.

[00:03:52] They still hadn't talked about the realization, though, that with Barrett as their target, they would not have the votes to control which of Drew or Barrett left. And of course, theoretically, Yash and Taylor would vote out Drew over Barrett. That will be addressed today. If Barrett goes, they planned to target Yash as the greater threat between him and Drew. And then Drew, kind of a big question mark.

[00:04:21] He told the cameras and he has said in the diary room on Wednesday's episode that he was true to the deal with Yash, that he might actually target the icons. But he has spent most of his time promising them the world. So while it's still definitely possible, it's also possible he won't. He's outlined every reason why it's better to target Yash because Yash will just end up comping out at this point. So who really knows at the end of the day? I don't think he even knows. Like, I don't think he knows.

[00:04:51] There's going to be a conversation that we'll talk about later where he's talking with Melody. And he's basically like, what should I do? And I felt like it was in his conversation with Melody, like the only time he was being kind of real with her. Being like, what do you think I should do? And maybe it's for, you know, jury prowess trying to figure out, like, she's on the other side of the house, basically, like what would make her the most excited. But like, I think that he's still heavily weighing his options. Yeah.

[00:05:21] So we'll see. But let's get into the day here. It is a slow start to the day. They do really ramp up in strategy later as the day progresses. But Taylor tells Dee that she wants the four of them, her, Yash, Dee, and Devin's, to meet up and talk about eviction, double eviction scenarios, which is a very good idea. You should definitely do this.

[00:05:44] The less you talk, the more open you are to being flipped on, which Barrett found out, you know, last week. So not great there. So good idea here. Melody, though, joins them and asks if they plan to keep her over Barrett. They both say yes. There's still not a lot of, you know, quote unquote, campaigning from Melody or Barrett really throughout this day. So and that's talked about throughout most of the day.

[00:06:12] But this is sort of like, you know, just just the check in. Hey, you're still good to keep me. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Good. I think like I saw somebody post about this yesterday. I'm sorry. I can't give them credit. I don't remember. But I saw somebody post about it and say, like, in the blockbuster era, I kind of forgot that a lot of people kind of like roll over and die on their way out the door.

[00:06:35] Like they don't fight tooth and nail because I think in the blockbuster era, because there's so much uncertainty, there's less incentive to campaign as hard. There is incentive, obviously, but there's like less incentive to just accept your fate. Um, and specifically Melody is like I I'm kind of shocked by the lack of campaigning from her, which is wild because we've watched her all season.

[00:07:04] But like, I I'm really surprised that she has truly not even attempted. Yeah, it's it's tough to commit to like throwing everything against the wall. We've talked about this before, but like because you might not even need to like sometimes campaigning successfully involves burning bridges, involves divulging information that you otherwise wouldn't have wanted to.

[00:07:28] If Melody were, you know, truly on the block against she has to campaign against both Barrett and Taylor should bear the Barrett campaign is actually important. She could be throwing Barrett under the bus. But she's not necessarily going to be on the block against Barrett. And if she's not, then she just trashed Barrett for no reason. And the same thing is true of Taylor, even though Taylor's the situation where she likely leaves. She so she should go full force against Taylor.

[00:07:55] What happens if Barrett loses the blockbuster and she never had to go against Taylor? Now she's burned that relationship for no reason. Now, that's not a reason you shouldn't campaign because it's better to stay than not. But it does limit the incentive that you're less inclined to do something if there's more downside than you than the obvious already downside, which is that you have to burn somebody in the first place. You have to burn somebody.

[00:08:21] And I also think that would mean that you have to like talk extensively with people that you don't like. And I think that's Melody's main problem. Yeah. But Drew is going to spend a lot of time talking to Devin's and then later D about plans for the eviction. And it starts small and it eventually gets more sort of explicit. First, he's kind of like, so is one of my friends leaving for sure here? He's doing his own check in. And Devin's like, I think so. I think so.

[00:08:51] It's like, all right, well, like what about the double eviction? Are we aligned on what we plan to do? And Devin's also thinks so. But this conversation kind of gets interrupted. But it's the start of future ones that are going to become more explicit here. The idea being, of course, that Drew has tried to plant some seeds about Yash. Devin's took those seeds and grew them. And they are on the same page, at least the page that Drew wants them to be on.

[00:09:19] Drew doing really good work today. I'm just going to say that at the top of this. Really good work from Drew. Drew talks to Barrett as well. He says that he wants to make a deal with Barrett. You win Blockbuster and I'll win HOH. It's like his favorite thing to say. He says it to Melody too. He's like, what if you win the Blockbuster? Would that work for us? Wouldn't that be great?

[00:09:49] Yeah. Barrett says that he thinks the double eviction is the best time to take out Yash. And this is actually pretty interesting coming from Barrett. Last we heard in his camera talk, he was kind of okay with Yash or any of the icons leaving. And so it is certainly possible that he has tailored this pitch specifically to Drew. But he's very insistent here about Yash.

[00:10:16] He says that this is the one time that Yash will only have one chance to save himself in the veto. And he's beaten the icons many times in competitions. He's only ever beaten Yash once. And that's not just like, you know, Barrett wins the competition against Yash. That's like in the placement and rankings of the competitions, I believe.

[00:10:45] That he has never outperformed Yash in a single competition except for that one HOH that he won. So wild. That is so wild. And I would be shaking in my boots. He compared Yash to Michael. He's like, we have to get him while we can. It's like Michael on 24. Like you have to take the shot if it's there because otherwise he'll just win. And he probably should have had that idea when he was HOH. But, you know. And he picked him for the veto. Yeah.

[00:11:13] Like, I mean, I still have people in my mentions being like, I still don't think that that was the wrong move. And I'm like, well, I do. So Barrett says he's voting for Melody to stay no matter what if he comes off the block. Yash can break a tie. That's fine. He wants to make Yash do it. And this is a bit of an issue for Drew throughout the day.

[00:11:42] Because if he also votes for Melody to stay, that does make it a tie. This is against Taylor. And then Yash would break the tie to evict Melody, which means Melody leaves anyway. And even though Drew did technically include in the deal a line item that said, I am allowed to vote for Melody to stay as long as we're confident that the votes are there. He's going to have a conversation with Yash later where Yash makes it pretty clear that he's not super comfortable with that.

[00:12:09] So Drew has to walk a little bit of a tightrope in the event that Barrett wins the blockbuster of whether or not he's going to vote to keep Melody. And so he kind of keeps a bit mum about that in this conversation. He says to Barrett, just listen, just win. All right? Just win. I want us in the final two chairs. They'll call this the season of the middlemen.

[00:12:35] And given the way he's talking throughout the rest of the day, I actually did get the vibe that he wants Barrett to stay over Melody. Definitely. Barrett's a more valuable ally to him. He's more likely to win competitions and keep him around because who else is Barrett going to go to? And I think he thinks he can probably beat either one of them in the final two, which I think is probably true at this point. So it's certainly easier to beat Melody. I also agree that it's true.

[00:13:03] And especially if he keeps playing the way that he was playing today. Like I see a huge upswing for Drew moving forward. I also think that like he said to Devens in his pitch later, like I think I got to just win out from here on out. And Barrett has shown that he's capable of winning competitions and Melody has shown that she's not.

[00:13:26] And I also think that like look no further than how emotional and weird Drew gets later in the day with Melody about where his head is at in terms of like if he's going to keep her or not. Yeah. Yeah. So Drew also asks Barrett like which of D or Devens is more dangerous? And Barrett says Devens and Drew's like, I really don't think it's D. Um, again, Drew's the only person in this game that prefers Devens stay over D.

[00:13:54] Uh, but Barrett says, listen, D struggles with the dates, uh, of things. Um, and, and plus Devens, he's made these big moves. He used the diamond veto on D. Uh, like he didn't even use it on himself. Uh, and I'm not sure how much he had to do with the vote flip last week, but you know, and Drew's like, nah, I think he had him and D safe both. Like definitely, um, again, Devens getting a lot of credit for that vote flip when it's actually the complete opposite.

[00:14:23] And that is something that should theoretically be corrected in the jury as long as Taylor or Yash get to the jury at some point. Uh, but it's a huge point in D's favor if it comes out that D is the one that flipped the vote to save herself and that Devens was actually going to go home that night. Uh, but we'll see. Um, and then you have people like Melody who thinks that it was her idea and, and told D that. Yes.

[00:14:50] D's going to spend the whole day after, uh, Melody tells her that, like, apparently it was Melody's idea to keep it. I don't know where that, I don't know where that went. Um. Or Melody. Drew does say, uh, it bums him out when people say that D isn't smart. Uh, and Barrett agrees. Uh, like, did they not know who she is? Uh, like, obviously she plays down her intelligence.

[00:15:16] So that's again, something else to be aware of here. Because we're tracking the, you know, the jury prospects. Uh, if these two both have this opinion of D, that's certainly encouraging for her in final two matchups. Uh, problem is that neither of them have incentive to campaign for her over Devens. Um, or over, you know, it's certainly Drew would over somebody like Taylor.

[00:15:46] Uh, but I'm not sure where Barrett would stand in that. So, uh, interesting stuff. Yeah. And also, I will say this, something that I've noticed since Angela left. I don't think I said this on the round table, but, like, Drew and D's relationship has significantly improved since Angela left. Like, even though he just voted her out, like, D likes him again a lot. And is, like, even talking about how she would want to give him the money over other people. And, like, they're goofing around and joking around.

[00:16:14] And, like, their relationship just overall has really improved. Which I am kind of like, oh gosh, Angela really was the thorn in Drew's side for most of this game, it seems. Um, but yeah, just something to keep an eye on, too, moving forward. If Devens gets sniped out in this double. So, Drew goes and talks to Taylor, or sorry, really, Taylor talks to Drew briefly in the storage room. She asks him who he'd be voting for between Barrett and Melody.

[00:16:44] And he said that, uh, that he'd, you know, he'd be voting to keep Melody. Like, that's, that's what the House seems to be doing. Um, and that's not really the answer that Taylor was looking for in this conversation. Taylor, as you might recall, had talked to Yash about, like, the possibility of keeping Barrett. But they wouldn't want to piss off the icon. So she was kind of feeling him out.

[00:17:12] Like, is he willing to keep Barrett over Melody? And even though he said he was keeping Melody, he also didn't quite say that he wanted to keep Melody. He kind of was like, my vote doesn't really matter. It's kind of what you guys are, are, are thinking. Um, so, uh, you know, again, little, little seed dropped there as well. Uh, Drew continues his conversation streak through the day. He talks to Yash after this. Yash, by the way, still sick.

[00:17:41] Like, still pretty sick looking sounding. Uh, he sounds so much worse to me. Like, I'm like, so, to me, I'm like, okay, whatever was going on in his body may be done. Like, any sort of fever, etc. But, like, he absolutely still has the symptoms. Like, coughing, sneezing. Like, he sounds stuffed up. Yes. He, his throat still hurts. Uh, and throughout the day, he is coughing while talking. Um, so.

[00:18:12] Rough, rough time to still be sick. We'll see how he feels today. Uh, he might be in a do or die situation with this veto. And being sick is not going to help with that. Uh, he is slowly recovering. Drew was maybe, like, people were like, oh, is Drew starting to not feel well? No, Drew's still feeling fine for now. Um, so, uh, Yash, the only one really sick here. Drew's feeling fine physically. Emotionally unclear. Yeah.

[00:18:40] Drew says he's ready to rock to the end with Yash. And Yash is like, yes, you get that dub in the double. And then we'll, I'll pick up the next one. Uh, Yash says he's also going to try to convince Taylor to not put him up, which is pretty much not happening. He's not really bothered to try to convince Taylor to not put Drew up. However, he has talked to Taylor about Devins, the backup plan quite a bit. And so, you know, there might be something going on there. Drew says he's telling Devins that he'll go after Yash.

[00:19:09] But he's actually going to turn around and nominate Devins and Dee instead. And oh boy, what a moment that will be. And I'm kind of inclined to believe that that's probably more likely. Uh, this is the more honest of the two explanations that he's giving. Um, the, the difference is, you know, you, usually you look for a couple of things when you try to figure out like who's telling the truth on the feeds. One is, uh, is, is what I just said, like who's being more open about the, the other

[00:19:38] conversations they're having. Uh, so like Drew to Devins is like, Hey, I'm with you. I'm nominating obviously Taylor and Yash to, to Yash. He's saying, I'm telling Devins this, but I'm actually doing this. He's not telling Devins I'm telling Yash this and I'm actually doing this. But then the other thing you often look for is what is the reasoning for doing these things? And that Drew's reasoning for targeting Yash and Taylor is really solid. He's telling Devins the reason I'm targeting Yash and Taylor is because Yash is incredibly

[00:20:07] dangerous in this game. He's going to comp out. He's going to win in the final two to Yash. His reasoning is almost non-existent. It's like, cause, cause we're going to rock it. I'm sticking to the deal. Like screw those guys, which is usually the tell that maybe that's not the truth. So it's like, it's a little bit of a back and forth here. And also he's saying a Barrett would go after the icons too. After Barrett just told him he's going after Yash. So like, exactly lying.

[00:20:35] So that's why I think, I don't know. I don't know what he would do. I don't, I don't think he knows yet. Yeah. So he says, he says Yash is asking him how he feels about melody versus Barrett. He's also asking that question. Uh, and Drew again answers, well, icons are getting rid of Barrett. So, uh, he's like, oh, so you're going to just going to vote out Barrett to be on the right side. He's like, yeah, yeah. I mean, unless I hear anything different. I mean, ultimately your votes matter more than mine. Uh, and Yash is like, that's what I assume.

[00:21:05] Um, and Drew says, well, I hope he just wins because he'll put up the icons too. Uh, and yes, this is, he just came from the conversation with Barrett where Barrett made it really clear that he was targeting Yash. Uh, and so this is another big sign that he is perhaps lying to Yash here. I mean, he certainly is lying to Yash in this, in this bit. Yeah. But that he might actually just target Yash in the double eviction.

[00:21:35] But who knows? Um, literally we'll find out in 12 hours. Not even. We might, if he wins. Totally. Uh, yes. Drew, uh, or, uh, Yash then asks like, do you think it would be weird? Or sorry. Uh, Drew says, do you think it would be weird if I voted out Melody over Taylor? He's, so he's talking about, cause now, cause Barrett told him like, hey, vote for Melody to stay with me essentially.

[00:22:02] Uh, cause he's like, cause Barrett's not like Barrett's not going to vote out. Melody. And Yash is like, yeah, just say you want to be on the right side of the vote. He's like, yeah, you know, I, I really, I don't think the icons are going to like switch up though. So, you know, if you're willing to break a tie, that would be, you know, I don't want to mess you up. But, uh, and Yash is like, nah, I'd, I'd rather just, you know, play it straight up, you know? And he's like, yeah, that's fine. That's, that's fine. Yeah. We'll just play it straight up.

[00:22:28] I mean, I really want to shake him and be like, this is exactly what you did with Mallory. And it caused all of your allies to completely just trust you and hate you for the next three weeks. Like your vote didn't matter there either. It was just a sign of solidarity and you could have gotten away with it. Like genuinely you could have. Um, so I, I, terrible decision on his end. Who cares? You're going into a double where Yash can't play HOH anyways.

[00:22:57] Like who cares? Don't vote on melody. That's, that's my opinion. I feel like there, there is some possible upside here. I mean, um, I think that if, even if it's just because, because in this conversation, Yash keeps saying like, I don't still don't know if I trust him. I'm not going to lie. Uh, and he's like, like you just wait, you'll, I'll prove it with my actions. And in the event that Drew does lose this HOH, let's say Barrett does stay.

[00:23:26] He's put on the block Barrett and Drew, like Devins and D have talked about. He is relying on Yash's vote. Yeah. Yash potentially convincing Taylor or even just voting himself to keep Drew over Barrett, uh, because the icons want him to. And he's also promising the icons he's willing to take out Barrett. Maybe he actually holds to that deal. If he still feels like he's like locked in with Drew because Drew actually voted the way he said he would. Like there's actually some little upside there.

[00:23:56] Not to mention the fact that if Taylor nominates them, he's, he could try to convince Taylor. Let's go after Devins first or something along those lines. It's like a little bit of upside there with minimal downside. Hopefully he could be relying on Melody's vote in the final two. And maybe he doesn't get it if he doesn't, uh, vote for her. But that is also like a selling point for other players. I'm definitely not getting Melody's vote. I voted her out.

[00:24:25] Um, so, you know, and then it's like with like Barrett's the only person in the game that's going to be upset about this. Where's Barrett going to go? You know, like, uh, he's, where else can he feasibly, if anything, this just makes it more likely for Barrett that he's like, well, I'll take, I'll, I'll, I might get Melody's vote in the final two over Drew. Um, so I don't, I do hear you. If, if you actually lose Melody's vote in the final two, that could be bad.

[00:24:53] If he, if he has it in the first place though, is kind of the thing. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what's going on with them. Yesterday was weird. I feel like if he votes her out though, there's no way she votes for him to win. Like she will have to get her lick back in some way. And I just can't see that unless he's next to like D. Yeah. Yeah. I agree.

[00:25:22] I think she votes for anybody else next to him other than D. To be fair, she's already said that she doesn't plan to vote for him unless she's, unless he's against D, but. Yeah. I think that that is less likely to be true. I agree. But if he votes her out, she will not vote for him. Um, so I do think there's pros and cons here at the very least. Um, Devin's talks to the cameras and he runs through the plan.

[00:25:50] And it's like, I've been waiting days now for them to finally realize, hold on. There's a little bit of a flaw here. Uh, he says he plans to vote Barrett out if he doesn't win the blockbuster. If he does, they vote out Melody. If that happens, he puts up Drew and Barrett because the two competitive players in a duo are more threatening than just one competitive player in a duo. Uh, meaning that the house will be three duos regardless. Him and D are two competitive players in a duo.

[00:26:17] Yash and Taylor is one competitive player, one non-competitive player. Meaning Taylor hasn't won as many competitions as the rest of them. And then if it's Drew and Melody, then it's Drew as the competitive player. Melody is the non-competitive player. And then if you compare Drew versus Yash, Yash is much more competitive. Therefore, he would target Yash. If it's Drew and Barrett, they're both competitive. And that's more dangerous than Yash and Taylor as only one competitive player.

[00:26:43] And he sees it this way because you can't win back-to-back HOHs. So like Yash and Taylor are less likely to win back-to-back because Yash is the only person winning comps. My issue with that specific logic is that you're going to be at the final five. Yep. And there's only one more back-to-back HOH that even exists, which is five into four.

[00:27:10] And that HOH doesn't really matter much in terms of like what you're worried about. So while I wouldn't necessarily say that it's like definitely the wrong move to target Barrett or Drew because they're two competitive players, I do think specifically this logic of back-to-back HOHs is not the line to be thinking.

[00:27:39] I also think that one Yash is worth two of Drew and Barrett when it comes to competition prowess and ability. And where we're at here going into final six, like you can just win your way to the end at this point. You know, like you just truly can.

[00:28:02] So he does say that, okay, if I do nominate Drew and Barrett though, I prefer Barrett leave. Ooh, but it is out of our hands with the vote. I mean, at least one of them goes. So that's kind of the conclusion that he apparently has reached, which is like, okay, well, the point is to take out one of the two competitive people in a duo.

[00:28:29] And if I can't control which one leaves and Drew goes instead of Barrett, I guess, oh, well, that's the conclusion for now. Now that is contradictory to his previous logic that he does not want Barrett in the house with Yash at final five. He's worried that Yash will work with Barrett. Now, given Barrett's new revelations about Yash, it's probably not as much the case. He probably doesn't have to be worried about that as much. And so this actually probably isn't the worst idea in the world.

[00:28:57] However, it is something that is still yet to be resolved within his own logic, right? So still waiting on maybe a resolution to that. He does think with Barrett leaving, if Barrett leaves, Yash and Drew on the block, of course, Yash would be the person that he evicts. So that is the new revised logic for the same plan that he had already intended to do. We'll see if it continues to be revised as the day goes on. We'll see.

[00:29:29] Taylor and Yash have a conversation. Yash says, hopefully Barrett wins the blockbuster because I think Barrett staying would be good for us. He just heard from Drew that Barrett is still planning to go after the icons, which is not necessarily true. And Taylor says, well, I asked Drew what he planned to do if it was Barrett and Melody on the block. And he said he would stick with the house, which is not what I asked him. She says she's been thinking, well, what if we just keep Barrett?

[00:29:56] Like, it's better for our game that he stays. And Yash agrees. He says, yeah, it is better for our game if he stays. But it's not worth burning the icons to keep him. You know, it's just we can't we can't do that. He just has to win the blockbuster. That's it. And a couple of things. I've already talked about, like, why are you worried about burning the icons at this point? They're already potentially coming after you.

[00:30:22] But there's another, I think, key thing here, because this was not a concern of theirs last week when they burned Melody and Barrett over this, over keeping D. And I think that goes to show you the difference between D and Barrett. They burned Barrett without a thought of Barrett being burned. And then afterward gave him a half-assed excuse. When it comes to the icons.

[00:30:52] Yeah. When it comes to the icons, they're like, we can't. We can't. Even though it's definitely good to keep Barrett, we can't possibly burn them. Like, that would be a huge mistake. And that's because the icons are more intimidating. The icons have more social capital. And Barrett has shown himself to kind of like, even when he stood up for himself and nominated the icons, he then kind of like, growed up in the HOH room.

[00:31:21] And prior to that, he had always just rolled over for them. And so his reputation is someone that just rolls over at the end of the day. And because of that, they felt free to just do whatever they wanted on his HOH. And, you know, now when the situation is reversed, they don't, they're not willing to burn. And so a good teaching example here. Yeah.

[00:31:47] And also, like, if we're talking jury prospects, you know, last week Barrett was saying he would vote for Yash over any sort of icon in the final two. But if we're looking at the way I think Barrett is feeling right now in his conversations with Drew and his DRs from the episode last night, like, I think Barrett is super pissed about Yash keeping D and Devins. I think he's giving D and Devins credit for that.

[00:32:17] And I think that Barrett, like, Yash lost Barrett's vote with that. Genuinely, if he's up against an icon. Which is a really important one for the icons. Yeah. I mean, if that's the case, that would be huge. That would, that could change everything in terms of their winning prospects in the end. And he was still pretty frustrated with them the last time he talked to Melody. But it's been a few days. And, you know, he's also, like...

[00:32:47] He's making comments. Yeah. To Drew. That's like, you know, could have still gotten D out last week. Like, Yash didn't have to do that. You know? Like, he's making comments. He's... Even though he... Like you said, the icons are so much more intimidating. Dee is saying things like she wants to crush him like an ant. And, like, put salt on him and watch him shrivel up like a slug. And that's not Barrett's way. But I do think Barrett making pointed comments in his conversations about, like,

[00:33:16] gay moves he doesn't respect and thinks RBS is Barrett's way. And I think that that's indicative of what may be to come. Yeah. And Drew and Barrett, they also spent a long time in their previous conversation talking about, like, who they were comparing players to from past players. And they were trying to compare who is Yash. And Barrett's comparison was like, well, it's kind of like how Matt and Jag won all the competitions.

[00:33:45] But he's more of a Matt. He's kind of like Matt. Maybe the both of them combined. But he's more like Matt's personality. And, you know, it's not the most favorable comparison in the world for a super fan of the show. He compared Devin's to Derek. Which is a much more favorable comparison. So real. Oh, my gosh. That's such a good point. Yes. If you guys are,

[00:34:15] if you are in Big Brother and you are talking to people about other players and stuff, that is very important. I mean, that's the reason Derek got rid of Nicole, because she compared him to Dan. You know, like I, that is such a good point and something I did not think about. Worth thinking about. So back to Taylor and Yash's conversation. They continue to talk through. Okay. Because they had had this discussion the night before of like,

[00:34:44] in the event that the icons win the double eviction HOH, they would nominate Drew and Barrett or Drew and Melody. That's their assumption. But if one of them won the veto, who would be the replacement nominee? They are kind of under the assumption that they have any say in this. And so Yash is like, well, obviously it's better for you to go up on the block, Taylor, because I'm a much bigger target. And Taylor's kind of annoyed about that. So they talk about this, like who should we tell the icons to use as a renom

[00:35:13] in the event that one of their initial noms wins the veto? And they sort of, you know, Taylor reluctantly admits that it's better for her to go up theoretically. And therefore that's the person they should tell the icons to nominate in the event that they have the, that it's forced. And so they're, they're gonna do that, but Taylor's not like happy about it. Um, and the whole thing's silly because it doesn't matter who you want to go up. It'll be their choice. And it will very, very,

[00:35:42] very likely be Yash. It's final six. Like, what are we doing? But I, I, I'm not arguing with them for trying to do it. Like, yes, try, but you know, it's final six. Yes. Then they also talk about what happens if Taylor wins the HOH and she nominates, say, Drew and Melody with Devin's as the backup target. Drew wins the veto and Devin's goes up on the block.

[00:36:10] And Drew decides he wants to evict Melody instead of Devin's. Uh, like, uh, oh, um, because that would mean that D and Drew evict Melody and Devin stays. They need Drew's vote to evict an icon if Drew is off the block. So they do consider like, well, it might be easier to convince him to take out D and maybe we should consider that.

[00:36:40] So D potentially entering in some line of fire there. Uh, they also consider the idea that, uh, of being like, because it's also possible that it's not Drew and Melody. It's Drew and Barrett. Um, and that he might evict Barrett over Devin's or D. Uh, so they also consider the idea of like, what if we tell Drew like, Hey, you should really give Melody a sympathy vote. Uh, like, don't like, don't let her go out unanimously and then have Yash vote with him. And just like that, he's voted his dad out. Um,

[00:37:09] and so, uh, do you think he would vote out Devin's over Melody? I think he would. I think he would. I think he would too. I think he would realize he has to. Here's the thing though. I don't know that he would, if they, if he didn't know the votes weren't there or were, sorry, if he didn't know the votes were there, because as we're saying, like, I think that if Devin's, if he thinks Devin's is staying, I don't think he's going to vote Devin's out.

[00:37:37] But if he knows that Yash is willing to vote with him against Devin's, then he will vote Devin's out. And now he should know that Yash is willing to vote at Devin's because they do have the secret deal going on. But if they did attempt this like plan of like, Oh, cast a sympathy vote for Melody, that could backfire. Uh, and he could do the opposite because he thinks the votes aren't actually there. Yeah. I don't know. Like, and it's also convoluted in the double eviction. Like you would think Yash would just go to him and be like, we're voting out Devin's, you know? Um,

[00:38:05] but Taylor also could just take charge and be like, we think you should give the sympathy vote. You know, like I can see that happening too. So it'll all just be so quick. And quite frankly, in the double eviction, you shouldn't nominate Melody. That's kind of the whole thing. You should nominate Drew and Devin's. And then if one of them wins the veto, D goes up just like that. Like, okay, you've pissed them off. Whatever. You're at the final five. Like, what are we doing?

[00:38:35] Also, Melody definitely votes out Devin's. Like she's a secured vote to vote out Devin's over D. So then there you go. Yes. It's, it feels very simple to me, but again, it's hard for them to conceptualize that once they get past the final, once they get past the double eviction, they're in the final five. And I think at this point, not enough of them are familiar enough with big brother about like how it works at the final five. I get barely matters who wins that HOH.

[00:39:03] Because it's mostly just about like who the ultimate nominees are based on the veto. And then who the votes are. Uh, the HOH breaks a tie, obviously. So you just need one vote to help get you through. But like once it, you know, pissing somebody off in the double eviction at final six doesn't really matter much at the final five. Cause they're probably going to be forced to go after you anyway at the final five. Um, and then once you get to the final four, it's even less important. Who's mad at who it's just about setting yourself up for the end.

[00:39:32] I really think the only two people in the house who understand this are Barrett and Drew. Um, and like they have a complete game board understanding. I do think that drew like in any other season, it makes more sense for him to want to keep melody over Barrett, except for this season where in the final six, there are three big comp threats and melody can't win. Like I,

[00:39:58] but he also drew knows about this end game. Like he knows that the comps get more physical in the end game. He's expressed that, but also he, a couple of days ago lied to Devin's about what that final three HOH is. And said that it's like questions about people's like personalities and stuff. Like he told him that it like the old way, which I don't know if that was a straight up lie. I don't know if that was him misremembering. It's possible.

[00:40:27] He doesn't actually know. Cause he hasn't actually watched that many seasons. Uh, yeah. But like, I, I just think that that's also important to know because that information, it's not like Yash is going to correct him on that. Yash definitely doesn't know. Um, D doesn't know. Devin's took it as Bible. So like, who knows? They have talked. There have been other conversations about the final three HOH. And, um, Oh, who was talking about? I think it was, um,

[00:40:57] and you know what? I think it was Drew and Barrett actually. I think Drew and Barrett were talking about how, uh, Drew has also not been studying properly. Um, and, uh, and he knows the dates of things, but, but Barrett was like, well, they probably won't even ask about the dates of things until part three. Uh, and so, you know, interesting stuff. Um, so, uh, that was Taylor and Yash's conversation. Um, though Taylor also tells, makes her to tell Yash like, Hey, just,

[00:41:27] just so you're aware, like the vets could turn on us. Like they might just backdoor you. You should make sure you win that double eviction veto because if you don't, you could be in trouble. Exactly. Yash is like, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Um, so Yash goes and, uh, quickly tells Barrett, Hey, just so you know, Drew told me that he's planning to evict you over melody. Um, and Barrett's like,

[00:41:56] fair enough. So to your point, Maggie, at this point, I think it's, it's worth talking about that. Drew does seem somewhat inclined to keep Barrett over melody. Yash and Taylor both, want to keep Barrett over melody, but are afraid to drew doesn't think the votes are there. And so it's not even worth trying,

[00:42:24] but that's three people who all want to do it. And I feel like this keeps happening this season, but like they can easily do it. Uh, it's two votes in a tie break. Um, if they wanted to, they could keep Barrett. The big issue though, would that I see here is like, of course you're like, why don't they just talk? Like that is shaky ground for Taylor and Yash to trust Drew with that.

[00:42:54] That is very, very shaky ground. And like, I think sometimes people are like, why don't they just do it? You know, whatever, like game board piece. It totally looks absolutely, but like, they do not trust Drew as far as they can throw him. Um, and if they tell him this and it gets back to the icons, like that's nerve wracking for them. Like Drew has shown all season to be like a rat for them. I, it's, it's just very shaky ground there.

[00:43:22] And I think that also sometimes like when I watch feeds, they all do like have a baseline level of like jokiness and like respect for one another when they're hanging out. Like, especially now this week versus last week when D was like refusing to speak with Barrett, like they sit for hours at the table. So you kind of forget a little bit that like, there really is not a good relationship there when it comes to game. And like, I understand why this has not happened. What Barrett has to do is get everybody in a room.

[00:43:51] Like Barrett has to drive it and get everybody in a room. Like they, they're not going to go to one another. That, yeah, that was exactly the point I was going to make that like, it needs to be Barrett getting them together because then Barrett is the excuse for having had this conversation and opening these doors. And like the possibilities, but Barrett was really like Barrett still hasn't talked to D. And like he was trying to pitch to both D and Devins. He was supposed to pitch D still hasn't done it. And so like,

[00:44:21] there's just a lot of procrastination happening there. He still has today, theoretically. So we'll see. Now heading into the night, there's a, there's a lot of conversations surrounding D, Devins, Taylor, and Yash. D and Devins get together. And again, they agree that if one of them leaves in the double eviction, they'll be giving credit or giving credit to the other person for all of the moves that they made. He gets credit for the diamond veto.

[00:44:51] Devins gets credit for the, the bribe. Now worth noting too, we've been talking about Barrett has, has given Devins credit for the bribe to some degree. He did tell Barrett, like it wasn't even my idea to target Mallory. Uh, which, you know, I think has given Barrett this idea that Devins has sort of been more of the driver and things. And so, uh,

[00:45:20] this will be interesting to see if they do try to give credit to each other, uh, how successful they are and you know, what kinds of things they're actually able to give credit for. Um, they also talk about their plan for the double eviction. And if Barrett leaves, there's still, they still got to target Yash. It's still kind of the play. But if Barrett stays, Devin says, I've realized like, we don't have the votes to get rid of Barrett. If we put up Barrett next to Drew. And he's like, oh, well, I was just talking to Yash.

[00:45:50] And, uh, and I actually accidentally skipped that conversation. Uh, wait, I skipped a couple of conversations. Sorry about that. It's okay. But Yash, Yash talks to talk to D before this and they talked through the vote. And Yash says, if Barrett leaves, it'll be the three of them against D against Drew. Um, and D says, well, when I talked to Yash, when she's talking to Barrett, uh, when she's talking to Devin's, um, she says, uh, when I talked to Yash, he said that he'd be willing to get rid of Barrett, uh, against Drew for us. Um,

[00:46:20] so maybe the plan is we just put Drew up next to Barrett and we risk it. They either, they either go with us and vote out Barrett, like they said, or they go against us and Drew goes. And, you know, we still broke up Drew and Barrett. Like that's kind of the conclusion they reached, but they, they get interrupted before they really finished this conversation. Um, prior to this, Drew also talked to Melody. They talked about the vote. Um, and she was kind of,

[00:46:50] trying to, trying to get, get out of him. Like, so are you voting for me to stay? And he's like, yeah, against Barrett. He's like, yeah, but like, how about like all this, all this things? And he says, well, you know, I'm, I'm the worst ally ever. Why would I vote for you to say? Ha ha ha. Cause I don't be serious. Like, are you going to vote for me to stay? It's like, no.

[00:47:14] And also it all comes back to Taylor as Melody was going to blindside Drew against Taylor a couple of weeks ago with the Melody or with the Mallory vote. Um, yeah, so that, so that, so that happens. And then basically Drew's like, are you going to campaign to D and Melody's like, or Drew's like, so how's your campaign going? Like, what are, what are you doing? And she's like, well,

[00:47:43] I haven't talked to D yet. And Drew's like, you haven't talked to, you should probably go talk to D right now. And she's like, but what if, no, like I want to lay here with you. And then they lay together and it's awkward. Yeah. So, you know, these, they're, they're trying, they're trying. Um, yeah, I don't know.

[00:48:15] Yash D Taylor and Devin's finally have their chance to talk as a four. Uh, they go upstairs into the HOH room. Um, and it's a pretty straightforward conversation. It's just, you know, reconfirming all the things that they already kind of assumed. Barrett is still the choice to evict on Thursday. Uh, and then in the double eviction, they nominate Drew and melody or Barrett, whichever two, whichever, uh, one of them stays. Um, and Taylor says, and I get it. I'm probably the read of the pawn.

[00:48:44] If someone comes down, uh, it's like, you know, concluding that arc. Um, and, uh, and that's, it's mostly it. Like, it's, it's just, again, kind of like confirming the, the plan for, or what they are, are going to do. Um, and, uh, and afterwards, uh, Devin's talks to Drew more about confirming again, more explicitly what their plan is, uh, that Devin sees the threat of Yash and,

[00:49:14] uh, that he's, you know, he's in line with what, what Drew is thinking, at least what Drew is trying to make him think he's thinking. Uh, and Drew really plays up his loyalty, like, hard. Like, Hey, you know, like, just, you know, I'm taking you to the final two. I don't think D is going to take you to the final two. And do you really want to sit next to Dean the final two? Like, I'm taking you there. If you, if you're on the block, I'm using the veto on you in this double eviction. Like I've got you, uh,

[00:49:42] like basically anything he could promise. He was promising. He was promising. And also like really doing some good work, subtly pointing out that D and Taylor have gotten really close. And, you know, I think it's because they're the only girls left and like, yeah, Melody's here, but Melody's uninterested in hanging out with anyone, but me and Barrett. And like, I, I feel like, you know, that's something to like, he planting seeds for like even further down the road. Um,

[00:50:12] and this, it, the conversation in my opinion goes very well for Drew. Yeah. Yeah. He then also talks to D. Um, and he's like, so D, if you win, are you putting me up? She's like, I wouldn't want to, but I might need to say face. He's like, Oh, that's fair, I guess. But I wouldn't put you up, you know, and just, you know, like I would go home. You pull me up next to Barrett. If Barrett's still here, like they'd vote me out over Barrett.

[00:50:40] And she pretends like, this is the first she's heard of it. She's like, Oh, really? Fuck. Oh, I didn't think about that. Um, and he's like, I was thinking it was a tie for some reason. I thought like it would be a tie vote. He says, listen, listen, I really am not putting you up. I'm putting up Yash and Taylor. And if one of them comes down, I'm putting my friend up. She's like, really? He's like, yeah, he fucked me. Like, I'm putting him up.

[00:51:11] He's like, I really, I'm really not nominated. She's like, well, that could change my mind then. Maybe, okay, if you're not putting me up, then maybe I shouldn't put you up. He's like, yes, that's what I'm saying. And listen, if you're on the block, I'm using the veto on you. Like, we've got to make this happen. Um, so he really works on her hard. And after this conversation, she talks to the cameras very briefly. She says, you know, he makes a good point, but I need to talk to Devin's because I feel like he has a different agenda than me, which I don't like.

[00:51:42] Um, and then Devin's walks in and she's like, oh, perfect. And she talks to him. And it's an interesting conversation because, uh, first Devin's comes up. He's like, I am, I am kind of feeling like if we really want Barrett out, we, we just need to put them up on the block next to Taylor. Like, we just need to do that. Uh, like, are they going to be mad? Like, whatever, you know, like, uh, at that point it is what it is. Um, and D is like, like, I don't know if I want to be the one to take that shot.

[00:52:12] Like, I don't know if I want to be the one to take a shot at Yash. Uh, he's like, oh, like for jury votes. And she's like, I like, no, I just like to repay him for keeping me, you know, um, and you know, she's like, maybe, maybe it's best that we don't even win the HOH and the double. Cause they're all taking shots at each other. Like then we're both competing in the next round. Uh, and I understand the temptation here because that's what they're being told, but what you're being told isn't necessarily the truth. And D of all people should know that.

[00:52:41] Um, and I don't think that Devin's is saying that to her. Devin, you know, I, I also want to point out, like, if you are playing big brother in the future and you are feeling like you're being told from all sides that you're safe and you don't need to win HOH. It may be true. It might be true. But think of these scenarios that have happened this season alone.

[00:53:10] Don't believe it. Don't be lulled into the false sense of security. Save yourself. Do not force yourself to pay for your sins. And here's the thing. Even if it is true, doesn't mean it won't change. Especially if there's a whole week for it to change. But even if it's a double eviction, you know, there was a time when Monty was not planning to target Michael. He changed his mind. Yep.

[00:53:41] So, so Devin's does continue to push like, no, no, I, I think that we really need to take this shot. Like, I think that it really is like, again, think about where we are. And she agrees. Like it is the move. It's the right move. She just seems a little reluctant to make it herself again. So there is now, I think a little bit of, I think Devon's will go for HOH for sure. There's maybe a little bit of a chance here now that D might decide. Maybe I set this one out.

[00:54:11] Maybe I don't need to take this shot myself. Maybe Devon's will do it for me. Maybe true. We'll do it for me. Uh, or maybe, you know, who knows, but either way I can compete final five. Uh, and you know, then I don't have to get the blood on my hands. I think she's, I think it's in her brain. It doesn't mean that she will throw, you know, I think once you're there, things change. And then if she does win, I still do think she takes the shot at Yash. If that's the move,

[00:54:40] I do think Devon's will be in her ear. Like we really need to make this move. I think, you know, she's got the cutthroat gene. I think she'll do it. Um, but this has introduced a little bit more uncertainty about where things might go in this double eviction. Mm-hmm. Very exciting. I mean, like truly anything can happen, guys. So, okay. Let's, let's try to like configure,

[00:55:10] uh, although anything else that you wanted to bring up from yesterday in terms of events. Um, no, I don't think so. Um, I didn't, you know, we kind of glossed over the Drew melody death, uh, that was yesterday. Uh, it was, you know, just gonna say, I had a fun time with it this season. I like, I like the angst manse. I like the no manse, the weird manse. Like the, I,

[00:55:39] if I'm going to get something like that on my screen, I want it to be bizarro. Also, like maybe they hate each other and want to vote each other out. You know, nothing too schmoopy. Like yesterday was the schmoopiest we've ever seen melody. And Drew was like crossing his arms basically. Like it was super bizarre, but you know what? If this is the last time I have to talk about it, I'd just like to say, I enjoyed myself. Listen, how many times have we mourned the death of this almost manse? You're so right.

[00:56:08] We're going to be, you're going to be back on tomorrow morning and be like, Drew and melody sleeping in the HOH bed. You're so right. Um, we'll see. All right. So, so let's try to configure the, the, the, the situations here for the double. Let's assume that Barrett wins the blockbuster. Um, if, uh, Devins or D win the HOH, uh, I,

[00:56:36] I think that there's a good chance that again, that they actually do force the situation. I think they have probably changed their minds enough to put Barrett on the block next to Taylor. I think they just say, sorry, it is what it is. Right. Um, and they try to force Barrett out. If for some reason the veto gets used, maybe, uh, Drew is the replacement. They just send Drew out.

[00:57:05] If Drew wins the veto and uses it on Barrett, then it's, it has to be Yash, uh, and Yash leaves. Um, then if, uh, Drew wins, I think, I think, I think it's probably just icons with a Yash replacement. I think that's what he does too. I think that, and then he'll say like, because then if one of the icons goes, if Yash wins the veto, he's like, Ooh, I honored my deal.

[00:57:35] Yash doesn't win the veto. Sorry. Goodbye. You know, like, I think that that's what happens. And I think that he thinks he can clean it up with the icons after. And he probably can. I think that's reading between the lines, right? I think he does still want Yash out. Yep. But the plan is to put up the, because which kind of explains all of the things I talked about earlier, right? Which is that like, he's being honest with Yash about his intended nominations. I'm telling them I'm nominating you and Taylor,

[00:58:04] but I'm really nominating them, which he will actually do. But he's being honest with Devin's about his true intentions, which is to take out Yash, meaning Yash is the biggest threat in this game. And he's going to win all these competitions. And so I think the idea would be icons on the block. If Yash doesn't win the veto, Yash goes, but that's just a guess. And I think that's true whether or not Barrett stays for the record.

[00:58:34] So then if Barrett himself wins, I think it's the same plan. I think it's icons on the block. Yash is the replacement. If he doesn't win the veto. And then if Taylor wins, I think it's it's Barrett and drew on the block. Only this time Barrett's in more trouble because the icons can vote Barrett out. If he doesn't win the veto, if one of them does win the veto, Devin's is the replacement. And at that point, um,

[00:59:03] Barrett votes out Devin's. It comes down to whichever of them comes off the block, right? Yeah. No. Well, Yash would vote out Devin's probably overdrew. Overdrew or Barrett probably. Yeah. So if Devin's is up there, Devin's goes against Drew or Barrett. And I also am not convinced that D wouldn't vote out Devin's in that situation either. And just like head down and be like, Oh, sorry. Like I'm, I'm completely serious.

[00:59:32] Yeah. So there's definitely a chance, uh, though it's a little messy. Um, then if Barrett leaves and it's melody, uh, things look worse for Yash, uh, in that drew, uh, in the D or Devin's likely also put up, uh, Drew and Yash. Maybe D tries to throw, maybe she doesn't want to take the shot. Uh, but, um, but I think this is this, the instance specifically where like, it's even more,

[01:00:03] they're even more willing to take the shot. Um, if Yash doesn't win, he leaves. If he does, it's probably Drew. Uh, if he does, it is definitely Drew. Um, and then if Drew wins, I think it's the same. If melody wins, I think it's the same. Um, if, uh, in terms of icons and Yash is the replacement. Uh, and then if Taylor wins, I think it's even more likely that Devin's leaves with, uh, whether or not drew wins the veto.

[01:00:32] I think that Yash might try to get Devin's out, um, either by convincing Taylor to just straight up target him or by, uh, using the veto himself on true or melody to get Devin's up there. Uh, so, so, you know, I've been saying all week, I think Devin's drew and Yash are the three most likely evictees. I think that's still probably true. I think drew has actually squeezed in a little bit of extra safety over the last couple of days. Um,

[01:01:01] but it's still pretty wide open here and we still don't know for sure what many of them will do. I was about to say, and that's the thing, like you run through all these scenarios and like, you are saying, I think, and that's the truth. Like, that's just what you, that's what we think. But like, there's a huge chance that D wins, H O H and all hell breaks loose. And she decides to do something, you know what I mean? Like, who knows what's going to happen here? Um, which is thrilling. I'm really excited.

[01:01:30] I do wish though. And, and this is like the last thing that I'll say, like, I do just wish that they wouldn't do it at final six. I wish that they would throw it in a little earlier so that like, there's a little more intrigue. Cause they're all like, it obviously has to be a double eviction tonight. Like, you know, I wish that there was a little bit of like shock and scramble. I miss that. Yeah. Well, uh, at this point it is what it is.

[01:01:57] And we do have a two hour double eviction episode tonight. So make sure you tune in for that. I will be streaming on my Patreon, YouTube, and Twitch. I'll also be back tomorrow morning at noon Eastern to update you on the results by this time tomorrow. We will be at the final five likely with an HOH winner and potentially plans for nominations. I mean, I would assume plans for nominations at that point as well. Uh,

[01:02:26] so we will be at the final five with a decent idea of who's making final four. Uh, so, uh, a lot of, a lot of things to update, uh, for tomorrow. And of course, tonight will be a fun one. Make sure you're with me live. And then we'll be here on the podcast afterward to recap it all. Maggie, what do you got going on? Yeah. You can find me on Tik TOK and Instagram at ML Morgan underscore. You can find me on blue sky, just ML Morgan. Um,

[01:02:56] I love this season. I'm having so much fun. Um, I can't wait to see what happens tonight. And like, what a thrill to just be able to sit and like watch the show, you know, and be excited about any possible outcome. Um, so yeah, I'm, I'm having a great time. All right. Well, that is what we have for you then today. Thank you all so much for joining us. That we'll see all of you. Next time.
