BB28 Thursday Eviction Ep Recap, Week 1
Big Brother 28 starts off with tension high as the house sees its first unanimous eviction and players begin drawing lines between alliances and floaters. Rob Cesternino is joined by Taran Armstrong, Sasha Joseph, and Lovina Pavel, diving into the messiest moments from eviction night and the latest twists shaking up the game.
The episode spotlights Ashleyβs eviction, a result of both her low-key social strategy and a last-minute campaign bungle that left her with no real allies. Taran breaks down how the βcrossoversβ alliance almost exposed themselves while trying to save Ashley, then managed to swerve and keep their true numbers hidden. The panel also unpacks the new BB Time Capsule twist, debating how returning houseguests like Angela, Dee, and Devens might shape the vote and whether this could spark a new battle between newbies and vets. Sasha and Lovina look at whoβs most likely to become a fan favorite for the first new power and laugh over awkward Diary Room bits and odd eviction speeches.
- Lovina calls the episode a βnothing burger,β pointing out that standout moments mainly come from the houseguestsβ quirky personalities.
- Taran Armstrong highlights how the crossovers alliance risked revealing itself to save Ashley, but ultimately pulled off damage control.
- Sasha Joseph roots for chaos from βrat floatersβ like Drew and Barrett, hoping for more messy gameplay in the weeks ahead.
- The group discusses how the BB Time Capsule twist could push the houseβs new players to turn on the returnees, depending who wins Americaβs vote.
With alliances shifting and the next HOH about to be crowned, will the house stick with the safe play or is the stage set for a real shakeup? Catch the recap to get all the strategy, laughs, and predictions from this weekβs Big Brother 28 action.

[00:00:14] This is Rob live right now and we are here to talk about our big brother first eviction of the season. And by unanimous decision, it was Ashley went home. We'll talk about what it means moving forward and let's bring in, of course, our chief big brother correspondent. It's Taren Armstrong. Taren, how are you?
[00:00:47] I'm doing great. We had our first eviction of the season. You know, it was, it kind of went according to plan, but at least the plan only came together like last night. So like we're still kind of fine. Yeah, a lot to unpack in terms of how we got here as things unraveled for Ashley. And then here with us, my sister from another mister. It's Sasha Joseph. Sasha, how are you?
[00:01:15] Yes, my bestie. We're all back together. I'm so excited. Yes. How are you doing, Sasha? So good. Listen, big brother is back, baby. That's what I know. It's so fun. It's already so messy. We love it. We're just happy to be here.
[00:01:31] Okay. And here with us, we are so excited to bring in a woman who really makes our big brother social media really pop off season after season. It's Lavina Pavel. Lavina, how are you? Damn, I wanted to keep a little bit of like anonymity. No, I'm kidding. Anonymity. Everyone knows. Everyone knows. But no, I'm- She has powers.
[00:01:57] Yes. Yes, very much so. No, I'm doing great. I'm already feeling very giggly today because it's my very first podcast of the season. I'm with Sasha. I'm with Rob. I'm with Taryn. I'm thrilled to be here. I have to describe today's episode as a very like just nothing burger in a way. Nothing burger. Well done. Yes. Exactly. Boom. Thank you. I was waiting for the ring. But yeah, I'm excited.
[00:02:23] Okay. So we're here to talk about everything that's been going on. Taryn, I know that they have live feeds that they have been advertising right after the episode. Did the feeds come back up after the episode? No. No. Did they abandon that? I thought it was like, oh, this season, YouTube, live feeds after the episode. No mention of go to YouTube to watch the live feeds and nothing's happening.
[00:02:49] I assume by after every episode, they meant after every episode except for the Thursday episode because we need to film the HOH competition. Right. But that's the time when we want to watch what's happening. What are you going to do? Okay. All right. So, so much for that, of course. We'll break down everything and tell you how we all got to this point. Yes? Chad is saying the stream is up on YouTube. It's just pets. That's what we want to see.
[00:03:18] If you're not a usual live feeder means that the feeds are down. So they are streaming something on YouTube. It's just, it's just, it's not anything. Okay. How long do they keep that up? I think last time it was like three hours ish. Okay. Just give us HOH comp. Live. Extend the episode 30 minutes on Thursdays. Like that's what I want to see alive. Sure. HOH.
[00:03:46] What are you going to do? So we haven't checked in with Sasha and Levina yet during the season. Sasha, how are you feeling during BB28? I'm happy. It, it took me a second when the cast first came out. I was like, okay, sure. Why not? And now I think just, I, you know, I peruse the live feeds and listen to the updates. And it's just, I'm excited. They're like nuts a little bit.
[00:04:14] And I don't know what they're on. They're just messy enough. I like it. I'm, I'm happy to be here. And listen, Rob, you low key won our draft. So have we talked about that? We did have a draft a couple of weeks ago of draft the returnees. There was one returnee that came back and it was Angela. I did take her. So I don't know. I don't remember what we said the prize was, but I did, I did win. A cameo. From Angela. An Angela cameo.
[00:04:43] Is it Angela? Or yeah, do we pick? Yeah. That's expensive, isn't it? I mean, she's already kind of given Rob a cameo on the feeds. Yeah. But a specific one would be great. Yeah. Rob, you won the freaking draft. We love it. So, okay. I will look forward to that. Levina, how are you feeling during BB28?
[00:05:02] I'm already having so much fun. Like, honestly, I think when the cast first dropped, I was a little confused about the returnees. I was like, is this it? Like, is this all? I do love D. I was not familiar with Devin's. But I like, I think I apparently watched the episode where he flipped the coin on 50. And I was like, oh, that's that guy. He's so funny.
[00:05:21] I liked him, like, immediately after his promo stuff. Like, he's kind of like my vibe. Like, if I was in the house, that would be like my bestie. Like, that would be my final two. Like, anyone who knows me, like, that's my guy. But yeah, no. And then, of course, Angela's Angela. But, you know, I do want her to, I want her mask to slip a little bit more. I'm not saying it's not going to because Lord knows with that woman it's going to. Okay. I can see it now. All right. I'm in peace.
[00:05:49] Let's talk about Ashley. We will have an exit interview with Ashley coming up on Friday morning. A update on the live feed update that will be at noon Eastern, correct, Taryn? Noon Eastern is the goal start time. Yes. So we have an interview with Ashley as going to be at 1050. And so Taryn will jump on the live feed update right after that.
[00:06:15] Let's let's let's eulogize Ashley, the big brother contestant a little bit. Taryn, can you contextualize Ashley's run here? Yeah, I mean, it's a bit of bad luck. It's a bit of just not having in like aggressive enough social game.
[00:06:35] Um, she, you know, it was just kind of like making an occasional relationship, wasn't really talking enough game with people to feel like anybody in particular wanted to keep her around.
[00:06:49] And then what we got in this episode was a very abbreviated version of her nearly being saved and then dropping, you know, a ball that was given to her, to be fair, uh, you know, down and, and, and then, you know, being evicted unanimously. Yeah. And I'm sure we'll talk all of that through Sasha, how do you feel about Ashley? Are you going to miss her?
[00:07:16] First of all, she's so hot. Like, you know, it's just, I feel like I just needed to say that. So we, we, you know, a little bit less hot house, but outside of that, it's like, bless her heart. You know, it's just, she was there.
[00:07:28] Was she on either side? I wonder. She doesn't know. Yeah. If, if the, the exact, if the red, uh, the red cross, those two that are actually one, um, have actually made a mistake. Right. Cause like maybe they could have kept her at the bottom of their alliance instead, but now we're just helping Rome and his squad. So I'm not mad. I think I like Taylor, but what are we doing here?
[00:07:57] I honestly, like the way that I would describe it, I was like tossing in between, should I say this was a nothing burger episode or was like a yes episode? Cause like, that's the only way I would describe this whole episode, which is like, yes, queen. Like that's all I can. That was Ashley. And you know what? As like, as a yes, queen girl myself, like, I love that. Like I would have a good time with her. We would go to brunch. We'd get mimosas.
[00:08:20] We'd have drinks, but like for the house, that was like a kind of all she was really giving. And like, to your point, Rob, when you said, I don't think she knows she really didn't like social game was literally just the, Oh, I'm having a cute time. Just keep me. And you can even tell in the speech at the end, which was terrible in the best way humanly possible. She's just like, keep me cute. Like let's have a cute time. Yeah. I'll miss the snacks if we, uh, if you don't keep me around. So you gotta keep me.
[00:08:50] 19 Matt. When even, when even Julie is like offering points on what you could do better in your speech, you know, you really dropped the ball again there. Yeah.
[00:09:01] And there've been such terrible speeches, right? Like these people really just, I love everybody. Just keep me if it's good for your game, right? Like copy paste every single week I'm over it. But even then the bar got lower and I just, I was like, girl, what are you saying? It's just, no, I'm old, but it was giving just like Jen, like Jen's. I'm old, but it's like, Jen's. Yeah. Yeah. Well, like, okay. So the bar got so low that I started like standing a little bit and I feel like I quit.
[00:09:31] Well, yeah, that's our sickness. That's how we watch big brother. Exactly. I'm 30, but I speak a little bit of it. Yeah. You're my Jen's. Exactly. Like I'm technically, I'm cusp. I'm a millennial technically, but like when you're doing the social medias, like, come on now, we have to, we have to speak it a little bit.
[00:09:48] Yeah. I think as a first boot, I think she does fit the category of being a pretty good big brother first boot. She's a wacky character. We'll remember she never ate a hamburger before. She ate the hamburger in the house. I think that's going to be the thing. She wasted it on big brother. Yeah. Five years from now, I think we'll think about her like, oh, she was the person that never had a hamburger before. So I think that she just has like a wackiness to her that Taylor didn't have.
[00:10:13] Yash, I think maybe was the more of the could go on, give us nothing person. So at least as a first boot, she gets there's something there. I mean, Yash is, is basically like the prototypical first boot in this latest like era of big brother. Except he actually put his money where his mouth was and he won the blockbuster. Fairly.
[00:10:39] And so, you know, not that he was the person who was planned to go if he didn't win necessarily, but, but he's actually still there. And, and that's pretty interesting considering, you know, he doesn't really have a place. I do think that the story of the night is ultimately, this was a huge win for the crossovers to be able to hide their numbers here in this way. I think that having this be a 14 zero vote and looking like it's the whole house is Kumbaya.
[00:11:09] Taryn, I really feel like they walk away with a big victory, even though they potentially lost this number. I, I don't know if I'd call it a victory as much as avoiding a loss personally. Uh, I think that they already were primed to get away with this vote, uh, and then swerved into oncoming traffic and then managed to swerve back out.
[00:11:32] Uh, and it's like, okay, we didn't get caught, but we also didn't really accomplish our agenda. Um, so, you know, I, it's certainly a victory in that sense, but, uh, but I don't know what I'm saying. I don't know if they're like super coming out ahead here.
[00:11:49] Yes. So much to depend on who the next, uh, HOH is and whether or not they can continue to build on what they had this week, or if they're going to end up having a, uh, a head on attack from somebody like a Jason, uh, ending up winning this HOH. But Sasha, for, uh, for this group with specifically for Barrett and for Drew, that, uh, they're able to really continue being the double agents that they've been in the house.
[00:12:16] And we love that for them because again, it, a lot of folks are like, we're fans, we're fans. Right. And then they'll show up and not really play well. I feel like Drew and Barrett are giving us a little bit of like that villain. Not, I don't, villain is, I think too harsh for that weasel. Floater. Yeah. That floater, weasel. And I love it. I need more rats in big brother. Rat floaters specifically.
[00:12:41] Yes. Rat floaters are my favorite thing to happen. So, and Drew, right. Is like part of the reason why Ashley kind of discombusted. So, I need more Drew. I would like a Drew or a Barrett HOH just to see where they land. But in reality, you know, just be a rat and cause chaos. Yeah.
[00:13:03] Yeah. I want the most chaos as humanly possible. Like I want Jason to win HOH, but I do think that Barrett, Barrett and Drew in terms of like the super fan archetype, I guess you want to call it. I feel like they're probably the better ones that we've had as of like recently. I think so far, I know it's week one, but they're making things at least interesting.
[00:13:22] Yeah. Taryn, I know you've done a great job of setting this up for in the live feed update, but could you just give the short version of what ultimately happened to Ashley here?
[00:13:35] So, the episode does give, you know, a short version of it. The thing I would add, I guess, is that the reason that the crossovers came around to keeping Ashley in the first place was because, in large part, because of Angela's paranoia about the other side and the reality of the other side being a little bit more locked in than they kind of thought.
[00:14:01] And that side included people like Taylor pretty locked in with Lala. So, they came to this conclusion that they might want to keep Ashley around. And they, we sort of tiny saw it. They like approached Ashley and gave her a script. They told her to go approach people and talk to them. And they approached her as a group in a way they absolutely shouldn't have. And this is why she was like, oh, I have all these numbers then. They're working together as a group.
[00:14:28] They're not worried about hiding this because they approached me as a group. And so, Ashley kind of thought she was doing what they wanted her to do when she went and approached these people. Now, she certainly overstepped and named more names than she should have.
[00:14:47] And she, again, very much dropped the ball in her campaign. But what they didn't really show in the episode was how messy it was in the first place to have given her that much information about the side that's trying to keep her. And that's where I'm saying like they kind of swerved into oncoming traffic. And that's why getting away with this vote being unanimous was in some ways a win for them because they were nearly exposed as an entire side of the house prior to this.
[00:15:14] They had to convince Rome and the rest of them that Ashley was completely making this up and that they've always been ready to evict Ashley and that, you know, that she's just claiming to have numbers that she doesn't. Tyrone, do you know, did Ashley know about the blind side tonight? I don't think so. She was scolded by Haley last night about talking to Melody, which exposed this whole thing.
[00:15:41] You know, of course, plenty more details on the live feed update from this morning if you want to listen. Rob joined me. It was very fun. And so she knew that she had done wrong, but Haley did say and believed at that time that they were still keeping her. I have to imagine, though, that she was pretty suspicious that things were probably not going to be going very well because I can't imagine they offered her much more reassurance. And Haley basically told her, like, shut up and don't talk to anybody.
[00:16:09] So I'm sure she went to that eviction chair pretty nervous. And the second she heard 14, she knew it was done. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if there's anything else that they can do, but we get a 14 person unanimous vote. It is not the most exciting live eviction that we could get.
[00:16:30] No, but thankfully we got all of the shout outs and the very strange comments and the drag race potential spoilers. There's on screen live, at least, you know. Yeah. Well, you know what? If we could, let's just say, let's save that. Let's just talk through the business of the eviction. I do want to get into all of those things as well.
[00:16:56] We saw a little bit of Yash tonight, a little bit of Yash. And he ended up going up to, he was talking with, what was it, Chuck and Kamu. And was it, was Dee there also? That was the first one. So Dee, Drew and Yash were first talking about the same thing. And then they have the similar conversation with, he has the same conversation with Chuck and Kamu. Yeah.
[00:17:26] Did he say it would be a bad precedent to evict a guy first? Yeah, he did. In front of Dee. Yeah. And here's the thing, Drew, wake up. You know what I mean? Like, where are the brain cells? Right? He acknowledged it. After, he's like, oh, I said it in front of you. Ha, ha, ha. That's not, that's not funny. Yeah. And in the HOH room, the chutzpah, right? In her room, to say, oh, we can't get a dude out. The girl's gotta go.
[00:17:56] Pack it up. Shut up. Yeah. Well, I mean, think about the optics. The men are a minority in the house right now. And so picking on them right from the get-go. Yeah. And that was the, that was the extent of the Yash content for the episode up until then we went to the blockbuster. It was a big part of his campaign and it was working on Kamu for a while.
[00:18:17] Another part of the episode that was maybe a little misleading was when Kamu approached Dee about keeping Ashley. That largely was already been, had already been planned by Dee. And they were just wondering, how are we going to convince Kamu who wants to keep Yash because he's a guy? And then Kamu came up based on Angela's suspicion about the gym.
[00:18:41] Oh, by the way, in the episode, Angela's suspicion about the gym meeting was played completely straight. Like she was just completely right about what was going on there, which is very much not the case. Or maybe not very much not the case, but not really the case. But her suspicion prompted Kamu to want to keep Ashley around. And then he pitched it to Dee and Dee was like, oh, this is great. This is exactly what I want. I don't have to do anything.
[00:19:05] In the episode, we see where Rome ends up forming the Mama's Angels with Jason in the gym. Was that not at the time that Angela saw them going up to the gym? I believe they'd already formed Mama's Angels by that point, but they do this every day. The three of them up in the gym talking strategy. That's a very regular occurrence and they are a pretty tight trio. So that's the part of Angela's suspicion that is completely correct.
[00:19:34] The part that's not correct is that Angela started pitching this not as, oh, the three of them got together and they're talking game. Angela pitched this as Rome is summoning people one by one into the gym. It was a group of six, seven, I think eight people. And it included people like Melody and Mallory and Lyric and maybe Drew was there. Who knows?
[00:20:03] We don't know if we can trust Drew. And so like it blew up into a much bigger thing than it actually was. Which again, though, isn't necessarily to say that Angela was wrong about Rome, Lala and Jason working together. It's just she also thought there were a bunch of other people forming a mega alliance. Which they should, right?
[00:20:29] Again, if Ashley comes and tells you, hey, this other side, it told me that this is the group and they're gonna, you know, keep me safe. If why is the like, if I'm not in that group, why am I not gathering all the people at the bottom and being like, y'all, we got to get this together. We can't let another steamroll happen to us. Something. Wake it up. Yeah. Very much so.
[00:20:59] This was Angela's. That's the group moment for the season so far. Yeah, but they, but they made Rome seem like he was like the, he's like the Messiah of them. And like the guy who's running the show X, Y, Z. And I'm just like. He leads the betas and the submissives. The president. He's only worried about Lyric. Let's be so for real. Has he said those two words in the house one time? He's definitely talked about alphas. I don't think he said submissives.
[00:21:27] Um, but there was, there was a really funny moment today because of all this stuff happening. It, cause Sasha, to your point, uh, Rome has now been told from multiple people who heard it from Ashley that there's another side. And he doesn't really believe it because he believes in his relationships. Um, but I was listening to them in the gym. It was those three mama's, mama's angels.
[00:21:49] And Rome started to say, you know, I'm beginning to suspect that Camu and Hayley are trying to orchestrate something. And I was like, oh, oh, hold on. Rome might be onto something. He goes, I think they're trying to make me and Lyric jealous. Girl. By flirting with us. Get me out. And I'm like, okay, okay. This is where Rome's head is. Wow.
[00:22:17] It's like Casa Amor. Go back to Love Island. That's where he wants to be, I think. Yeah. They're being tested. That was the intent. We'll see if they can, if they'll be able to survive this. It's just so funny that Rome, that Rome is like calling himself or whatever the alpha. Like what? Like how far has big brother fallen that, you know,
[00:22:46] is not shade. I promise. It's just a question that, that, that Rome's the alpha in the house. He speaks alpha, but he's truly a beta submissive who likes trading cards. No. You have to have the aura. If you, if you call yourself an alpha, you don't, you're not the alpha. Exactly. You have to have the aura. Exactly. What do you call turning around as you win a competition? Don't piss me off.
[00:23:18] If I feel that I can bully you, you're not an alpha. I don't think anyone's an alpha. Who can't you bully? Come on now. Exactly. I was like, no one's an alpha. Everyone's a beta submissive. I'm the captain now. Yes. You've been, you've been. You know, I'd like to talk a little bit about the BB time capsule. We, I don't think we knew that they were going to announce it to the house.
[00:23:48] We didn't know how it was going to work. We've understood a little bit more of that. These are going to be powers from the past or maybe punishments from the past. And they've announced it for the house. Tarrant, I do fear that this could be something that galvanizes the first time players against the vets in the house. For sure. This, this is massive. The fact that it's, it's been said out loud now.
[00:24:16] I, I guarantee you, this is the talk of the town tonight. This is what is going to be on everyone's lips. They're going to be talking about who's going to get these powers, probably the returning players. Uh, and what does that mean? Does that mean they have punishments? Does that mean they have powers over us? Does it make people want to work with them because they have those powers and they don't, they're scared of them? Or is it going to make them want to burn those powers away as quickly as possible?
[00:24:44] Eliminate these players so that there's more space for them to get the powers in the future. Um, I don't know what the answers to these questions will be, but I guarantee you, this is what's going to be what everyone's talking about tonight. Yeah. I think it's shades of BB 15 had the MVP voting and then Rachel's sister was in the house and there was a lot of votes for Alyssa for MVP because of the popularity of Rachel. I feel like that.
[00:25:13] And racism, hopefully. Well, yeah, I don't think that that affected the vote. Hopefully not. I know, I don't remember. I watched it live. But I have to feel like that the first three votes are going to be Rick, D, Angela in some order. Right? It seems unlikely that there's, there doesn't seem like there's a breakout first time player that's going to supersede the vets. I also wonder if, do the powers escalate?
[00:25:40] And is it better to get the power week five, week six when it's not going to be the vets? Who can say at this point? That's kind of the thing. You know, I think to be fair, I do think that like by the second, third, especially third power, we could definitely have some like breakaway stars by then. That like, you know, kind of overshadow maybe a D.
[00:26:05] You know, like Devins is still giving like goofy character in the diary room. D is more like you like her for her presence. She's strategically good. But I don't know if like the casual audience who doesn't know her from Survivor is going to be like super gravitating toward her to like vote for her to give her a power. I think Angela right now is like the most visible. She just had that moment with Jason that felt very like rootable.
[00:26:32] And now they're giving her this moment in the episode where it looks like she's very savvy and caught Rome what he was doing. So I feel like Angela is probably primed to be the first recipient of this, despite her controversy with the casual fans. Yeah, that's what I was going to ask. Casuals hate her. Do we think though that it's going to be the three of them? Like, this is no shade to D or Devins, but I don't think that they have the same star power as like a Rachel Riley for a Big Brother. A Big Brother. Sure, sure.
[00:27:02] Not for this Big Brother audience, but I guess the question I'd like to pose to the panel is who will be the first new player to earn a power? Lavina, I'll start with you. Call your shot. Don't start with me. First new player that earns a power. Okay, I'm going to say... By winning a fan vote. I'm going to... You guys are going to boo me. The chat's going to boo me. But the only thing I have to go off of after week one is what is the casual fan base saying?
[00:27:32] And my casual fan base is my parents. And my parents said that they felt terrible for Mallory. So I'm going to throw Mallory. Oh, Lord. I don't know. She was, you know, a hard luck person. Won the veto. I could see it. Okay, Sasha. Yeah, I feel like it's going to be a man. Don't ask me why. And maybe Rome, because I think he's getting set up as the opposition. Okay, Taryn, what about you? Rome with the showman makes a lot of sense.
[00:28:01] I think another name I might throw out there is Kamu. Yep. Oh, yeah. I think that Kamu has been, from what I've seen, very popular with the casual audience so far. He, right away, was giving some of the most natural-sounding diary rooms. And so they were going to him a lot for narration. And so he's already kind of popped on the screen a bit. Now, we're talking about maybe probably a couple of weeks down the line. So I don't know if he'll stick around in that spot. But I think right now Kamu's in a decent spot. Okay.
[00:28:29] If I'm going to give a different name, I'm going to say Barrett. I think that he is maybe, I think that Drew is maybe, he does get a lot of diary rooms. I think it could be Drew. But if I have to pick between the two of them, I will say Barrett. I think that he is going to get some online love. And I think that maybe he might get some positive edits. And maybe we'll see what else they show of him.
[00:28:59] Some upcoming plot lines that could make a character play really well to the casual audience. Barrett and Dee having a bit of a cuddlemance. Casual audiences love showmances. Of course, that's already playing for Roman Lyric. But that could be good for Barrett. But in addition to that, there's some really good Drew and Devin's kind of like father-son relationships stuff that they could play, I think would really work well for Drew as well.
[00:29:29] So Barrett and Drew, I think, could have some good content coming their way if they decide to air. Yeah, I think the diary room really likes Drew though. They've used Drew a lot in the edit to be like when Ashley is doing something wrong. Like he's the person that they show. Like, are you sure that that's what you want to be doing? Like he's like been the voice of the super fan who knows the right thing to do. They showed him in the premiere saying like,
[00:29:56] I know as the super fan that there's not enough people in the house. And so they've really given him like that he knows what he's doing. And speaking of the diary rooms too, I did notice that Devin's has not been getting that many. Like in the last episode before, like on yesterday's episode, he had like, I think I saw the number was like one. So I also think that's going to impact it as well. That's why I really don't think he's going to get a vote. I like him. Don't throw tomatoes at me.
[00:30:26] Yeah. That's interesting about Rick Devins. Cause he got, he got a lot on Sunday, but I do feel like that Rick Devins also that he, he's jokes in the diary room, but I don't know if he's going to necessarily, if he has like the big brother, the strategy confessionals down. Maybe. I mean, like I said, I think that if they do start doing the, the Devins drew stuff, I think that plays really well for Devins in an edit. And in addition to that,
[00:30:54] as Julie kind of pointed out at the start of this episode, she said, if you're new to big brother, we're gonna have a great, and this is because the premier ratings were up like 20%. They were like the highest they've been since like 2021. Uh, and so I think the show itself is sort of like, Hey, survivor fans, like welcome aboard. Uh, so there's a decent chance that there's a good amount of survivor fans that have come over, not to mention the fact that of course there's already plenty of crossover. Uh,
[00:31:23] and Devins just came off of a really good season for him in terms of, popularity. So I do think he has a good solid base, uh, as well. Okay. Do you think Steven Fishback is voting? No. I'm not sure he's still watching. Exactly. Like those people are gone. Like our survivor fans still with us. I don't know. Yeah. I do think that there are some casual survivor fans who maybe have never checked out big brother. I think that Steven, you,
[00:31:52] you can't make him watch big brother, but I think that there are going to be some other folks. He did. Darren definitely did. Yeah, but you can't keep him watching big brother. Fair. It's a commitment. It's a commitment. Hey, it is a commitment. Okay. Uh, let's, let's talk about, um, should we talk about the blockbuster? Sure. Yeah. Um, not a game you could really play along at home. No,
[00:32:20] because how embarrassing that I'm like, yes, you dummy, you're going home to, and then bam, the answer is math. Or yes. Oh, I'm dummy. God. They should at least give us the right answer. Thank you. Cause they'll have me here looking dumb. And yeah, she's looking better. It's smarter than me. It's just, I shambles. It's got to be good. Like as we're just watching them stand there staring at screens for two minutes straight,
[00:32:50] they should be providing us with something. Like circle some faces for us. Start doing a count. Give us the final answer by the time they run in and buzz in. Like give us something to do other than just stare at these people staring at the screen. All of the images on the screen. And we could, we could somehow play along that way. Right. Like spell it out for me. Like literally, like all the other things are done. Like the way that they do this show is like, it's edited for like,
[00:33:19] how do I say this nicely? Dumb people. Like, so make it dumb, like make it more dumb for me, you know, in specific, like even Ashley was struggling. So like, and she was there. So like, you know what I mean? Well, I mean, we kind of figure, I mean, I kind of figured Ashley would struggle with this given her only competition history to this point was not being able to recognize Enzo's face in a photo. I was like,
[00:33:45] this couldn't possibly be a worse competition for her. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I mean, I'm not going to complain too much about a competition that I think has like, I did good result in the past and is generally like a pretty different skill than most of the other kinds of competitions we tend to get. But, uh, but yeah, for TV, it just doesn't quite land. I think. Do we know what would have happened if they were all wrong? Was it the first person to buzz in? That's what I thought. First person.
[00:34:15] So I think it goes like, um, the, the next highest, uh, a number of appearances. Oh, so that's what I would assume. So like if this, if the next highest was, uh, Devin's or whoever they put, uh, then, then it would have come down to, and, and Mallory hadn't been the right answer. Then it would have come down to like who between Ashley and Taylor buzzed in first. Um, and so, uh, you know,
[00:34:42] can I just say also just having said Ashley and Taylor back to back that I am at least a little bit happy that one of the recent repeat names, is gone. Because when I just said Ashley and Taylor, I'm still thinking about BB 27, Ashley and BB 24 Taylor. Yeah. Would it be more fun? And I know we've talked about this before, like to get a picture in picture. So, the blockbuster happening, but then, at the bottom, like what's actually happening in the house. That's what I was thinking about. And are they talking?
[00:35:12] Can we get some, you know, Julie's favorite strategy talks? Like, let's, let's get something going from inside. Well, I think we kind of. Letting the house guests watch. Yeah. Uh, and then like having some closeups on their face as they get nervous. Could be fun. Yeah, but they like to have the moment of, okay, let's see what happened. Let's see who won. But that's the same every time. It's always this. It's just like, they walk in and even if they're mad about it, they go, oh yeah. Yeah. They pretend to be happy.
[00:35:41] And they clap and they hug for two minutes. Were there any interesting reactions when they came back in? And Yash was, no. I mean, Rome was very excited. Yeah. We're like living their best life. But Rome was doing like the bro thing. Like, yes, bro. Oh. And they're like, they're like, like, like, like whatever. That was whatever. But I also realized that I'm pretty sure they tell them like when they're walking down the stairs, like productions, like don't smile. Don't like, don't react.
[00:36:11] And I'm just like, why can't we just do the picture and picture? And I truly think it is also because they want us to see what's going on in the competition so that we can play from home. However, let me not go back to the, please spell it out for me. But like, I'm not going to pay attention regardless. And most of the people are not. So just put the picture and picture and see what the, what the, what, what socially is happening in the social game. And what does it matter if I play along or not? I am home. I'm not going home.
[00:36:40] I'm losing anyway. So let me just get inside the house. Yeah. Here's a question from the chat. Austin wants to, did they get rid of the official strategy two minute break where Julie asks them, gives them the chance, like does anybody want to strategize? No, Julie begs them, begs them to be like, you idiots do something. Yeah. It genuinely seems like, and that's, it's very relevant that this is gone because the crossovers had as part of their initial
[00:37:09] plan planned on using that time to flip the vote, to keep Ashley. Yeah. The fact that it didn't exist could have changed that plan if it had stayed. I wonder if, if there was a time when they knew that there was like a scramble after the outcome of the blockbuster. I wonder if they would build that into the schedule to give them time to do that. They knew already that this was going to be, nobody was going to want to talk about anything.
[00:37:37] So it's very possible, but like, I don't think they would love the idea of being inconsistent with it. So, you know, maybe it's the sort of thing where it's like, if you want to scramble, pull somebody away. Yeah. And Julie will wait as long as she can before calling you back. Otherwise we're just going to keep, keep running. Yeah. All right. Also,
[00:38:02] I feel like Rachel last season was like the only person that was trying to, you know, like get something going again. Cause she's sounds about so good at all of this, but she would just sit there and try, right. To be like, come on, vote for this person. Then we got that. Ashley will mix up. So we need someone. Yeah. Yeah. We, but we need someone seasoned to do that. And I don't know that Angela D or Devin's are those people. Yeah. Cause Angela's got her mask on.
[00:38:36] Let's talk about the votes and talk about some of the things that came up tonight. I mean, I want to start with Jason's vote. Uh, he was the first vote and, uh, voted to evict Ashley. And then also made a RuPaul's drag race prediction. Now I am so curious, uh, about this because that we have big brother, which we know plays out in real time. But to my knowledge, RuPaul's drag race films ahead of time. Do they,
[00:39:05] is there, how does Jason, uh, root for a winner of a season? Or predict one. Predict one. Right. Right. So I'll say this. Well, he was on this current all stars season of all stars, all stars that's airing right now. Um, and was eliminated within the brackets and was supposed to potentially supposed to come back. But I knew he wasn't going to come back just because,
[00:39:33] just because also for drag race, all stars specifically, very heavily spoiled on the internet. So with the fact that if him being there and knowing what was going to happen and it's already aired, half of it's already aired. It's the finale is tomorrow. It's airing tomorrow. Um, or being available to stream tomorrow. Like, and crystal, which is the person that he predicted to win is the heavy favorite. I mean, he was there. So he knows and has the most wins. Well, I wouldn't,
[00:40:03] I wouldn't go there. That's the website. I used to bet on RuPaul's drag race. It's, it's K a L S H E.com. Okay. Sounds good. Perfect. But that show, I don't even know if they're doing bets on because it's so heavily spoiled. Like I personally, they were doing survivors. Yeah. What? What? Even all. It's a whole thing. Let me know. People,
[00:40:30] people in production of these shows are, uh, you know what? Make your money. We in a recession. Hey, I'm just kidding. Um, anyways. Yes. So that's just like basically heavily spoiled essentially. Um, but either way, Jason was there. So it doesn't matter. Yeah. Okay. So yeah. Crystal's going to win. Let's be real. All right. So it's interesting. The, the prediction there from, from Jason, uh,
[00:40:59] what were some other fun votes from tonight? I mean, why, what was this man doing? Not fun. Talking about, let's talk about it. Yeah. Um, so he starts with, he says, I vote to evict Drew, uh, and says, I mean, Ashley. And Julie says, Oh, Freudian slip. Uh, I don't think it was a slip. So very planned. Yeah. What's, what's going on here, Taryn is. Is Kamu very anti drew?
[00:41:29] No, he's got like a, on the down low final two kind of situation with drew. He likes drew a lot. Uh, he's doing this for the bit. I guarantee you at some point, it's probably already happened. At some point, Kamu is going to tell the story. Everyone's going to be sitting. So guys, I walked into the diary room and I said, Oh, Julie, you're looking great. And then I said, I vote to evict. And then Julie was like,
[00:41:57] what is that a Freudian slip? And I went, no, I'm just kidding. I vote to evict Ashley. And then he's going to laugh at his own story. And then, uh, you know, some other people will laugh and it's like, Oh, you're so funny. Kamu. Uh, and then, you know, it's, it's going to be a whole thing. You know, thinking about being in the big brother house terrifies me for many reasons, but a big one for me would be, I can't fake laugh for three months.
[00:42:25] I cannot fake laugh for three months. Like that being like things used to be really funny on big. Not so old man, yell at cloud, but like, is that what we're doing as a baby? Is that what we're doing? Get in there and call, call Julie Judas or something. Like, I don't know. Give us. Oh, she was not like that. Do not do that. You would get evicted. What in the pocket Jesus are you thinking? Yeah.
[00:42:52] She would like hit the eject button. Your ass is gone. And then he falls down. Kamu has literally told a story before because he loves messing with Drew about like, he was like, yeah. So guys, the other day people were like, Hey, Kamu, what's your type? And I just started describing Drew. Drew. And then, uh, then Drew was like, Hey, that's me. And I was like, yeah. And then it was so funny.
[00:43:22] This happened in the brother house. Yeah. He told that story. Yeah. So confused. I missed that one. Yeah. Nothing worse than people that think they're funny and that they aren't. And then you have to like act like that. Like I, my face, it would never happen. I'm getting evicted first anyway, so it's fine. But yeah, it's just, there's no way. Yeah.
[00:43:49] Maybe this is like somewhere akin to the pretty privilege, but also the very strong privilege is that, uh, if Kamu tells you a joke, you're going to laugh. Even Lavina is going to give him a fake laugh. You're not going to sit there stone faced. And when this, uh, when this very strong fighter tells you a joke, like you're going to laugh. He doesn't know it's not funny. Yeah. What is he going to do? Bring knives. I defeat him in words.
[00:44:19] I defeat him in psychological warfare. I'm laughing. Listen, you can't even hear, right? Like his ear is bit off. Half of it. People in the chat are saying like, oh, it's not that unfunny guys. Uh, which like, it's not fair enough. Uh, comedy is subjective, but the funny thing to me about Kamu's jokes are that the, the way that he tells a story about a joke he made, which is not particularly a funny way to relay the joke.
[00:44:49] Mm-hmm. No, it would be like, it would be like me being like, Hey, Hey, Hey, uh, Lavina and Sasha. So this morning I was on a podcast with Rob and, uh, I made this joke about, uh, how I don't remember a joke I made, but it would be like telling you a joke that I made this morning on a podcast. No, but when is Karen sending me voice notes like this? Exactly. If I'm going to require this, if I received a voice memo from Taryn, like nine, it's over.
[00:45:20] Yeah. I would die laughing. Yeah. Context. Yeah. Taryn's too good at retelling things to be, uh, making fun of the Kamu is bad at retelling things. He's making it too good. Okay. I love Taryn too much. So they're not understanding. Okay. How about, uh, Rick Devins gives his vote. He's dressed for tribal council and he would wear this get up to go to every tribal council on survivor.
[00:45:49] We'll see if he keeps up the bit all season long. And did you catch that? He gives a shout out to, of course, Juju who had a birthday this week, but also gives a shout out to James gun. James gun. Okay. Cause I said, did I watch too much like Marvel DC? Like in my ears are ringing what's going on. I think he's, he's probably just thinking about James gun in this hard time after super girl flop.
[00:46:22] Damn. Don't, don't say stuff like that. Cause listen, he gave us guardians. Okay. He did. We're still stuck on that. Yeah. You know, we, uh, we're talking this week about how Julie does not seem to love Rick Devins. She told a bunch of people, Dalton Ross, Mike Bloom, that she's really out on Rick Devins after he leaked about the fake or the alliance to, or the fake alliance to his real alliance.
[00:46:50] And Julie is out on Rick Devins. I think this was strike two for Rick Devins with Julie, when he was wearing a buff in the diary room. The fact that she already said, he doesn't know this, but the fact that in the interview, she said that you're not in survivor anymore. This is big brother. So like, he really like, it's as if he knew and played right into it, played right into her cards, right into her hands. Yeah. But why James? Like what's, what's the connection?
[00:47:20] Christian. Christian, somebody call Christian right now. Yeah. I mean, but more seriously, I like James is a fan of the show. I'm sure Devins is a fan of James. Famously on Big Brother Unlocked last season. Mm hmm. And, you know, it's like, I don't even know. Like maybe he even has a relationship with James Gunn. I don't know. Do you think he could call Nate from Survivor to then somehow get connected to James Gunn? Maybe.
[00:47:50] Maybe. You know what I mean? Like we don't need to shout him out. It's random. I like it. I'm not mad. Listen, I'm happy with James Gunn shout outs. I think that James Gunn kind of classes up the joint a little bit here. Yeah. Let's normalize shouting out famous people as opposed to like, Hey, happy birthday, Chris. And my roommate, Dave, you know, at least like shout out people we know. Yeah. Yeah. Like I watched the love Island finale and there's a like that whole dedicated
[00:48:19] portion at the end of love Island to all of the celebrities who watch their show. Uh, so, you know, like we, we got to take, take what we can get. And James Gunn. It's pretty, pretty good one. Yeah. Ooh. So I'm shouting out Beyonce like every day. Absolutely. Yeah. Okay, fine. I'll go on big brother just to do that. Yeah. Was it a fever dream when they were shouting out Rihanna the one season? She watched though. She watched. Allegedly.
[00:48:49] The streets were saying. I swear. She's a little busy right now, but yeah. Okay. Another baby. And I'm just kidding. I'm lying. She's on stage and doing whatever on stage with Jay-Z. Girl. Yeah. I'm good. Um, put out good music, new music, new, new. No. Okay. Uh, how about Mallory in the diary room tonight? Who seemed like that? She glitched for a minute. I didn't understand it.
[00:49:19] It's me, Mallory coming to you live from the diary room. Yeah. With my eviction vote. Is she trying to do like a Rick Devens moment? Like, is she aware of this? No, I think she said, this is Mallory live. Right now. Is what she said. She fumbled. She, she, she planned that for, for a week and fumbled. Oh, that's a bit. What is she going for? Just the thing is like,
[00:49:49] I think I, Oh my God. Cause I think, would I try to do a bit? No, I don't think so. I think we, yeah, I wouldn't. Cause I knew, I knew, I knew it would flop. So it's just people, you don't do bits. Cause it's just gonna look a mess. Big D was, I feel like the last like funny bit. And even then we're like, no, but we know that you, you know what you're saying. Sometimes I'd be listening to him on this podcast. And I was like, Oh, I don't think it was a bit, but I just think he's, he could, he's like one of the last people that can pull something off like that.
[00:50:18] I think, I think it's not, I think it started off not a bit because he was on podcast recently saying that he's like, Oh, I'm a beta. And they were like, no, like, do you know what that means? And he's like, that means I'm strong. And they were like, no, it means you're not like, I really truly think that it started off real. And then it became a bit, which that works for me. That's fine. That's fine with me. Here's the, the Mallory clip. Of course,
[00:50:47] Scali had it on a blue sky. Here she is. My first ever live vote to evict this Mallory live right now. My first ever live vote to evict this Mallory live right now. Can I say I like the shimmying? Am I the drama? Cause I just think that's a mess. Julie, I think it was very good. Right now. You should open tomorrow with that. But you have to shimmy. You have to shimmy. Rob,
[00:51:16] did you do the shimmy when we started this podcast? I didn't. I didn't. And your shirt's too buttoned up for this, you know? It didn't. No. Right, right, right. Parents for tomorrow. Welcome everybody. Okay. Let's do clips. Yeah. Drew was screaming in the diary room when he voted. Yeah. And the shout outs. We don't have a, do we have a diary room screamer this season? No, not yet. They usually grow into it. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:51:46] You're a little nervous at first to start yelling. Yeah. He's not getting diary rooms, period. Yeah. Well, fair. Bless the girl. Respectfully. You know why he has Rob. Okay. That's all he needs. He's the most famous currently on our platform. Yes, exactly. Yeah. That's all that matters. You know, the voting was going on and on and on. I couldn't believe it was like, oh my God, I forgot about Haley. Oh, she's left to vote. And then like Chuck walked in the door. I was like, what?
[00:52:16] Oh my God. When will this end? It's a lot. It's 14 people doing the same thing. The same thing. Yeah. Yeah. And poor Julie has to say like, okay, well, Haley, that she is aligned with, with Kamu and Chuck. Let's see what she's going to do. Like, yeah. 11 other people just over Ashley. It's over. There's no intrigue. Well,
[00:52:46] Lyric, I've heard is from Hawaii. So we'll see if that impacts her vote here. Yeah. Lyric has been locking lips with King Rome. I wonder if what came out of his mouth will come out of her mouth. Yes. They're sharing spit. Obviously it will. Yeah. It's just, yeah. Okay. Julie and Lala really hit it off in the diary room also. Yeah. She's now officially earned the nickname Lala.
[00:53:15] Julie. This was the day Latrice became Lala officially. But let's never forget the, the chocolate dropped. What did she call herself? Lemon. Lemon drop. The lemon drop. Is that what she said? Did you say lemon? I feel like that was racist. And I didn't want to microaggress Julie like that. She said it. She said it. No, I think you did. You're right. I just didn't want to see it. I did. And then Pouya got on here and said, am I your cinnamon drop, Rob?
[00:53:44] It's like stuck in my head. I'm sorry. That was the one question I was hoping that we had more time for, with Julie. I wanted to ask her. What would you have said? Her favorite flatterer was. And I was hoping she would say, well, somebody ask him. Yeah. That's a great question. That's the kind of hard hitting journalism we need with Julie. Right. Right. So. I don't think anyone like, like really went hard and complimenting her though.
[00:54:14] Lyric just said like, you look beautiful. That's it. Is it over? No. No. All right. Well, let's talk about Julie with, with Ashley tonight. And not a ton of questions for Ashley. Did she find her people? She didn't have much to say. No, she didn't have much to say. And they didn't have much time for her. Not much time.
[00:54:43] No goodbye messages because it's more important to show 14 people shouting their families up. Mm hmm. Yeah. We asked her about, what was it? Her speech. It was one of the questions that she got where Julie said, do you think he could have said anything different? No. Yeah. No. Yeah. She said, I didn't know. I didn't know. I mean, to be fair,
[00:55:11] like the question is unfairly pointed in the sense that like, no, it wouldn't have changed anybody's mind. It's more so like, do you think you could have been more entertaining on your way out, Ashley? Yeah. please give us something. Mm hmm. I think her way of entertaining is just doing what she's been doing. Like, I don't even think that it crossed her mind to call someone out or like, she could have easily called out the Alliance, the information that she has, that she's been doing all the past 24 hours.
[00:55:41] She could have done that, but she's not going to do that. That's not how that's, she doesn't want to play play. Mm hmm. Michael. Michael was the last, I feel like good, you know, when he like dragged Brittany, poor Brittany, but he was like, no, I want to stay. And this is how I'm going to stay. It's just, where's that energy? Mm hmm. But I don't know that we'll get something out of the ordinary on your way out of the house. That's the true, not there for the right reasons. Yeah. She should have been like,
[00:56:11] and you know what? I have had a hamburger. I have one every day. You, she shouldn't look on your faces. What was that thing when they said that she was on bar stool or something and she's never had peanut butter or whatever it was. I think that she, yes, I think she did some sort of a bar stool reality show. And on that, she said that she never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is what I had heard. She just collects things to not eat so that she can eat them.
[00:56:41] Right. In a performative way. Mm hmm. It's a two day. I'm going to lie. It reminds me of those people. They're like, I don't like how water tastes. Like you just want attention. Like a stop. That's not, that's not real. Like you're, you're, you're bullshitting. Yeah. Love her down, but like, let's be real. Well, she's on the outside world. We'll see what adventures she goes on the rest of the summer. She's at, she's with us now. Yes.
[00:57:10] I think she'll be a fun viewer of the show. Yeah. Yeah. And, uh, who knows? It probably won't be that long before you end up seeing her over on chat BCC, where as so many of the alumni end up hanging out during the episodes, you could join them over at BB 28. That chat will keep the lookout for when Ashley shows up, ask her what are the foods she hasn't had. I think it's been really chill over there today.
[00:57:39] And last night. Yeah. Very chill. Always. Okay. It was there anything else from this episode that we should hit on? I'm still just thinking about how she's never eaten PB and J and that wasn't the fact when she went on big brother, where famously they ate PB and J for seasons and seasons. Yeah. I know she's a fan, but has she been a fan that long? She didn't know who Howie was. Yeah. Yeah. Did they even know who, did they even react? I didn't,
[00:58:09] I was busy reacting to Dr. Will myself, so I was not paying attention, but did they even react to Dr. Will? Crazy. I don't even know if they did. I mean, I'm sure they did to some, but they weren't really like talking about him after the, there was not much of a reaction. Would you like lead a coup against the house if they didn't correctly like react to Dr. Will? Well, you know what? Yeah, disrespect. The way that it was shot, Taryn, do you think Dr. Will was literally there when they did the veto? No. Yeah. No, no, no. A thousand percent no. Yeah.
[00:58:38] It seemed like that maybe that they just got the shot of him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When he like in the reflection. And then he probably was like, I do not want to be there when Howie is there. King. King. Yeah. Cash that check. Right. I'm doing like, that's my one stipulation. I will not be there when Howie is there. Do not give him my number. Yeah. So I guess to be fair to the house guests, their reaction should be the same as ours.
[00:59:07] They were watching him on a screen as much as we were. They watched it on a screen. Okay. Taryn, was there anything of note from what you saw on the feeds today? No, not really. Not today. It was a very slow day today. I already told my Rome story. So I'm going to re-repeat that on the update tomorrow. But, but yeah, not much. I mean, I'm expecting a fun night. I think this HOH is going to be really,
[00:59:35] really interesting and important for the direction of the game. So I'm expecting more, but, but I think we're, we're pretty much all caught up for now. Yeah. Sasha, anything else that you caught tonight? No, this was, this was a silly fun time. Yay. Yeah. Yeah. We had fun. We're just getting warmed up. Lavina, anything else that you saw? Nothing specifically. I do have a thought in mind about the twist, but I don't know. Oh, yes. I,
[01:00:04] I really think that they're kind of, I feel like there's no way that one of the twists is not a coup d'etat, right? Oh, that's my number one. That's the one I want. You can't have a coup d'etat as one of six powers though. Surely. Why? That's so much better than all of the rest of them. I mean, maybe something like Mickey's, uh, that's like coup d'etat light. Steel and HOH. Yeah. Or the hacker twist.
[01:00:36] I think a full coup d'etat is a little too much. What if the silver power veto thing, the rumor or like conspiracy theory at the start of the season was like meant to be there. And maybe what if that's one of them? But I don't know if that's, they said it's either a prize or a punishment, right? It's one or the other. So it's, it's a opportunity to play a game. And then you, if you, uh, complete the game, I think this is kind of like going to be how the journeys work on survivor.
[01:01:05] You go and you will have to do a task. And then if you complete the task, you get the prize. And if you lose, you get the punishment. Right. But we could easily like stack the deck for like, okay, this person is getting this, this opportunity. You stack the deck all you want. Sometimes. Okay. Caitlin. Sometimes Caitlin happens. Um, I'm curious to know what the punishments are,
[01:01:30] because if this is supposed to be a secret and you get a punishment, uh, typically when we hear punishment, we think like costume or like kick a ball into a goal of a thousand times. Like, uh, but that would immediately give away who received the thing. And there'd be no more paranoia about it for the entire week. It would be, it would just give the whole thing away, which makes me inclined to believe that the punishment is likely game related. Uh, something that can be kept secret, like losing your vote or,
[01:02:00] but you know, it's punishments from the past also. Yeah. I mean, that's, if that's true, then yeah, there aren't many game related punishments that we can, uh, that we can really do. So maybe, listen, maybe. It might be like, um, you know, another thing for summer of sign to talk about, you know, like something mission related and like, oh, you must do blank as, you know, your punishment. Like you have to say the word super califragilistic,
[01:02:31] you know, like, I don't know. Just something outrageous. Cause it's a big brother. I feel like it has to be something silly. Get everybody in the house to say French fries. Yeah. Or hamburger. Hamburger. All right. Okay. So, uh, let's leave it there. Let's talk about what else we have coming up. Exit interview coming up with Ashley. Happy trails, uh, to Ashley.
[01:02:59] And we will talk to her tomorrow. Look for that on Friday morning. Uh, then after we get done talking to Ashley, Taryn is going to jump over for the first Pooey off Friday of the season and find out what went on overnight. Uh, feeds haven't come back yet, right? Nope. Not yet soon. Hang in there. Then I talked with our great friend, the mastermind, Eric Stein. It was the first summer of Stein. Hey,
[01:03:27] if you're waiting for the feeds to come back and you haven't watched summer of Stein yet, check out what Eric and I talked about as we went through everything that caught our attention from the first week of big brother. And of course, over on Patreon, get locked in. We've got a fun season of coverage for you during BB 28. I'll be live at 3 PM. Eastern to take your questions.
[01:03:54] talking about big brother coming up on Friday. Then for the patrons. Also, we've got a brand new show. Taryn and I have a mailbag that will be answering your strategy questions all season long. You can send in your questions at Rob's website.com slash BB mailbag. We just went through and gave our win probabilities for every player. Taryn, we're going to have to update Ashley's 2% next week and dole it out to somebody else. Yeah.
[01:04:24] I do think we gave her the lowest percentage of anybody. So yeah, I think she was one of a couple of people with 2%. Uh, and, uh, we could have gone lower, uh, for Ashley, but at that point it looked like she was going to stay. Right. So, all right. And then we had a fun time on the slop this week as well with Chappelle going through the sloppiest stuff from big brother, social media and the live feed clips and beyond every week on the slop. We also talked to Julie Chen Moonvest, met pocket Jesus and, uh,
[01:04:52] had a fun conversation with her where she did not really drag Rick Devins with us. No, not on my watch. She was doing that. So I didn't ask her about Rick Devins. Yes. And then one another. And on Friday for the patrons, get ready tickets to rehab. are going to drop for the patrons on Friday afternoon. So get locked in. We've got three fun days that we're planning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
[01:05:21] August 26th to the 28th. And you can see more information at rehab con.com. Then. All right. Sasha, tell me about my buddy, Mark Ballas. What's he's up to? Oh my gosh. Uh, when can I be adopted into this family? Because listen, Mark Ballas and Shirley Ballas, uh, his mom are. I didn't know his mom is on this too. Yeah. That's, that's Shirley Ballas right there. Queen. Uh, they are hosting or judging the new,
[01:05:51] the next pro for dancing with the stars. So one of these new people, um, from a cast of 12 is gonna immediately get called up to the pros and will be on dancing with the stars, uh, coming this fall. So it's a fun, like if you liked making the band or so you think you can dance. Oh, bye. I was trying to do, uh, I was trying to do, uh, there's one where I could see everybody on, on top of the thing,
[01:06:20] but I did not mean to take you off the screen while you were talking. No, I'm just kidding. Uh, but yeah, so check, check out Matt, the Gory and our coverage. It's going to be happening all, um, short season long. So it's, I really enjoyed, uh, this first episode. Okay. Check it out. All right. And then we've also got coming up. Is that it? That's the last slide. Yes. Okay. All right. So Levina, what's coming up for you? Um, nothing, just more big brother 28,
[01:06:50] super excited about the season. Um, hopefully we get an exciting week and yeah, follow us on all socials for all my fun stuff. Okay. All right. Sasha, anything else coming up for you? Yeah. Check out mess magnets with Carson. McKenna's and I are talking everything. Pop culture related. If you want to know why something's trending, you should be listening to us. Mess magnets.com. We're also here and there talking big brother. So check that out. Okay.
[01:07:20] Taryn, it's going to be a long night for you. Long night. Uh, and, uh, we'll be live tomorrow again. Make sure you remember an hour later for the update, uh, roughly. Um, but we'll have some fun with it. There's going to be, I'm sure plenty to talk about plenty of things to, uh, predict for the future. Um, and, uh, you can also check out my Patreon where I just finished watching Love Island and we're watching things like jet lag and, uh, all kinds of fun stuff. Uh,
[01:07:50] so check it out. Okay. And we've got a busy Friday coming up at the end of a busy week. We really put out so much content here in our first full week of big brother 28. We're having such a fun time and hope you are too. Thank you so much for joining us. Take care, everybody. The good one. Bye.
