BB28 Sunday Nominations Ep Recap, Week 9

BB28 Sunday Nominations Ep Recap, Week 9 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 is at a turning point as the Crossovers finally make a move to put the β€œIcons” on the block after weeks of the trio holding power. In this recap episode, Aysha Welch, Mari Forth, and Kirsten MacInnis break down all the […]

[00:00:08] Hey everybody, it's Asia Welch and we're back to talk about another episode of Big Brother. You may be wondering, where's Rob? Where's Taryn? It's a BB takeover, baby! Get ready for a takeover! Ladies night here on Rob Has a Podcast, so we are very excited to talk about a nomination episode we got here.

[00:00:36] We got an HOH, we got three new noms, so we're ready to unpack it all. I'm here with two women who get glazed, they don't do the glazing, right? First up, we got Mari Forth. Mari, how are you? Speak for yourself, number one Barrett Glazer, right here, right here, glazing. No, she's a great Glazer. No, right. Barrett Glazer. I thought we were with the times, y'all.

[00:01:07] No, no, he's not. Very much not. And then to round out our trio here, we have Kirsten McInnes. Kirsten, how are you? I am so good. I'm so happy to be here. Happy to clock in as the number two Barrett Glazer on RHAP. And, you know, I'm not Maggie. I don't have a dirty, filthy martini, but I have a giant glass of white wine in order to celebrate. Because this is a celebration. Let's be clear.

[00:01:37] Oh, is that a custom Mari Crafts Too Much cup right there? It sure is. That's available on my shop right now. Wow. You're right, Kirsten. I have a custom cup too. This here cup was made by the winner of Survivor 47, Rachel Lamont. Oh. Okay. So we're talking about our famous friends. Okay. You know what? Three icons on the block. Three icons on the podcast. That's what I always say. Hey.

[00:02:08] Exactly. There you go. I know. I'm like, what an amazing episode to discuss. I mean, as this all happened in real time, it was so exciting on the feeds, of course. We'll have our spoiler section at the end as we do in any normal episode, any normal BB recap. But, of course, we'll provide some coloring because I felt like they left a lot out of the episode tonight. There's only so much. Yes. I mean, yes.

[00:02:37] There was so much material to work with that the editors were like spoiling for riches. So, yes, they left a lot out, but I'm not too mad at it, to be quite honest. Yeah. I mean, the biggest story coming out of this episode is that, oh my gosh, for the first time this season, the three icons have hit the block. Yes. Yes. Barry did it. Many said it would never happen.

[00:03:06] Many said it's only happening because of Mallory, but many are wrong. Many are wrong. The fact that we're in, what is it, like week eight or something like that? Yeah. And they are just finally all hitting the block. I mean, the only time that two of them were on the block was Yash's HOH. Yep. Right?

[00:03:30] And like, Yash has been screwed by these like powers, but it didn't have to be so bad if he had just nominated all three icons in the first place when he was HOH. Right? So it's like, yes, that's what we get. That's why we're only getting the Thrella block now in the last month of the game. Right. Like, and what got me was how the icons kept trying to say, it's too early.

[00:03:57] It's too early to make something like this happen. Are we not in the final? What is it? Yeah. The final eight. Like, we are in the home stretch of this game. I mean, I guess they mean too early is before the final five. Before the crossovers make it to the final five. Like, I think that's just kind of what you say, right? Like, you're in this alliance. You've been working together, though, not like considering each other fully at every point in the game.

[00:04:26] Obviously, like Drew's hit the block twice when crossovers were in power. Like it's but I think that's it's just kind of what you say. Like, I think that it also is such a mistake to be taking everybody at exactly face value as well, because there are such interesting social dynamics happening. And like, yeah, they're going to say whatever it takes. Like D in this episode said I would nominate Barrett this week.

[00:04:54] And Barrett's the one person I was never going to betray. So it's just like you can't believe everything these people say. Which one is it? Is it one mic or Uchiwali? Right. Exactly. Like, so and that's the thing, right? Because some people are echoing that sentiment. They're like, oh, my God, Barrett is making this move. This is such a bad move for him. How can you reasonably say you want to move? We're at eight, right? There's three of them. There's three icons left.

[00:05:24] So if you're moving forward without them and one of them survives this week, they are the majority. Literally. You know, all of them are on the block. And then on top of that, why would I wait to get got by them? Because my biggest thing and the reason why I do think Barrett did this is because they never showed that they could truly be loyal to anybody but the three of them. Because we saw them flip, flop, flip, flop all season long.

[00:05:54] We saw them want to take out Drew and then not take out Drew. Want to take out Melody and not take out Melody. Say they're not going to take out Mallory and then take her out. Like, why would I want to wait for them to decide my fate in the game? So if it's early or not, if I have the power, I'm just going to I'm just going to make something shake right now and then hope it hope I can pick up the pieces. Just last, just the day before this happened, D was considering getting out Devens.

[00:06:23] So not considering, like it was going to happen. If Devens had not won the BB blockbuster, it could have been a unanimous vote to get rid of him at that point in time. Like he was going home. So it's it's just like very rich to hear this. Oh, it's too soon. Oh, it's too soon. And like exactly to your point, Mari, like you don't know when you will get power again.

[00:06:50] Like Barrett has been very competent in every competition he's played in. But this is the first one he's won. And like he doesn't know if he'll win again. He doesn't know what comps are coming up and exactly how it's going to work. So like you have to strike while the iron's hot. And for Barrett specifically, he has been saying from the beginning, oh, I know I was the last one pulled into this room. Oh, I know I'm at the bottom of this alliance. It's like when that alliance is in power, obviously he's not going to be vocally saying he wants to go against it because they're in power.

[00:07:19] But when the opportunity arises, like he is very cognizant of his position in the house and he laid it out in the diary room. Like as long as one of the icons or Yash goes home, that's good for him. Like, he knows. Yeah. And we got at different points in this episode, all three icons saying in their own way that Barrett hasn't done anything so far in this game.

[00:07:43] And so now he gets to prove his loyalty to the crossovers when it's like, hey, if he hasn't done anything, he needs something bigger than proving like this, being committed to this alliance that has been the same this entire game. And quick question. What has Angela done? Exactly. They've been thinking that Barrett would react like Drew has. We've talked about it.

[00:08:11] Drew has, Drew has kicked puppy syndrome. The icons keep kicking him and kicking him, but he just tries to be even more, even more loyal. Barrett is not like that. The minute that they kicked Barrett, AKA voting Mallory out against his wishes, he has been seething and waiting for his chance ever since. And he's just mad. They're lucky that it's only here that they're getting the shot thrown at him because it was two, it would have been two weeks in a row if it was up to Barrett.

[00:08:40] I bet he would have made these moves. It would have been three weeks in a row. He wanted to vote Drew out. He wanted to vote Devin's out. Like he, he wasn't able to do either of those, but he did throw Yasha in to get rid of Haley during the medieval night. That was like a pretty specific shot that he was able to get away clean with. And then he wins HOH. And I really wish they had just recreated the BB 15 scene when Andy won HOH and like everyone in the diary room saying like, I'm so happy, like I'm good.

[00:09:10] And then Andy's just like, because they could have, they literally could have done that. Yes. It literally, it was just bizarre because even in that, like to throw it back to the medieval comp, they chose Haley over him. So it was kind of like, okay, y'all have consistently proven that he's not the type priority to y'all. And now that he's getting a chance to make a move.

[00:09:35] Like I, I did respect D in real time when Angela told her this information, like, okay, like, look, it's a good game move. Like, what can we do? Like that. But then of course, in the DR is how she really feels, you know, I would have never put you up, even though I've considered putting you up. What do you mean? Like, I just said I'd put you up, but I would never put you up. That was, that was also ridiculous for me. She was like, Barrett, what is the only person I wouldn't have turned on? We know, feed people know that immediately last week,

[00:10:05] she was talking about putting Drew Devons and Barrett up. Also, also, how would he know that? He's seen you put up Drew. He's seen you put up Mallory. He's seen you flip votes for no other reason than you were bored. And you did not give him any reassurance. They never, she never made a final two with him, which is something I was like, she really should have done it, especially when she got Mallory out. Like, if you're going to get Mallory out, then you need it.

[00:10:33] You should have locked Barrett back in. And they didn't. They didn't even, they barely even did any maintenance to try and keep Barrett on side when Mallory left. No, no maintenance at all. They just ignored the reminder notifications that popped up in the car. So Chappelle in the chat says, a girl can't change her mind? Question mark. That's a question mark. Yeah. And then what did I say to him? I said, shut the hell up. He said, he said, what happened to supporting women's rights and wrongs?

[00:11:03] And I do. We do. But stay out of women's business. Chappelle. But also there are consequences to your right and wrong actions. And unfortunately, D is paying those rights. Exactly. Exactly. We're there for it. Well, and this is where like, I, I live for mass because, yes, you know, all things being equal. I want D to stay in the house. Me too. Yeah.

[00:11:32] We said all that. Want her to survive. and yet. D for blockbuster. But wait, we can, we jumped right into the HOH result, but I feel like it would be so wrong to not give our, our last little bit of credit to Lala on the way out. And Taylor's DR about Lala almost made me cry. Oh my gosh. That was heartbreaking. Because even real time on the feeds, I remember early in the game when she's telling Lala, don't say anything,

[00:12:02] hush, don't say anything. And I know social media blew up from her saying even Lala's daughter responded to Taylor saying that. And then you cut to the, the episode where it happens in Lala's balling or Taylor is balling because she's like, Oh, like that breaks my heart to tell her to just not be herself. And I loved seeing that at that point from Taylor. And then even now seeing this from Taylor that they really created a strong bond.

[00:12:29] And it's nothing like having somebody there that you can just let your hair down with and just kind of feel that, that sense of comfort. Right. And it's just like, it's kind of like her, her safety blanket is walked out of the door. And now she just kind of has to like, okay, now when, now when I'm feeling sad and now when I'm feeling like ostracized, like, okay, now I just got to be by myself. Cause what, you know, now Lala's gone. Exactly.

[00:12:56] Like that was the only person that she felt she could express any emotion to and then not be used against her in a house full of people who have just been using her emotions against her this whole season. So I'm glad they included that, that DR and just as a character, we're going to miss Lala. She is truly one of a kind. And I hope she's like relaxing in the jury house by herself. It's just decompressing away from all those, those youngins that got on her nerves.

[00:13:25] I need her holding a margarita in her bikini. With the heels on. Yes. With the heels on. When we get that jury segment, whenever. That's literally what I was going to say. Like, I know she's there alone. She's in the bikini with her heels on just living her best life. And thank God she doesn't have to be cleaning up after these nasty people, which like she should have never had to be like the only one cleaning up after them. But like,

[00:13:52] she's been freed from these dirty, gross roommates. Like the overflowing trash. I literally get itchy sometimes just like seeing certain rooms in the big brother house and how dirty it is. And like, why do y'all have ants on the counter in the bathroom? The ants will always win to be, to be fair. And I do think at a certain point that is on production, like the way the ants are able to infiltrate.

[00:14:18] But like when they were not doing the dishes for a couple of days and you would just see everyone walking past the sink full of dish. Like I had to go walk by my sink to make sure that it was clean. Cause I was like, what's happening here? Right. So we got to start this episode with all the fallout with Lala's exit. And, you know, we get to see what happened, right? Because it was very confusing in real time, how all of the lead up,

[00:14:47] if you follow Taryn's live feed updates, it seemed like it had, the conversation was if Devin's wins HOH, we're voting out Taylor over Lala. And so what happened was we found out that. The blockbuster, not HOH. Yeah. The blockbuster. So what we found out was that. That the icons wanted to get out. Lala with the exception of Angela.

[00:15:11] And so Barrett decided to side with what Devin's and D and drew to vote out Lala instead of Taylor. And he was able to communicate that to Yash, but not quite able to communicate that to Melody. And so then that's how Melody and Angela ended up being the only ones to vote out Taylor. Thus, yeah,

[00:15:37] I think Taryn thought that this was a little bit more intentional than the episode made it seem like. But I guess in the diary room, we do get Barrett saying like, yeah, I voted out Lala so I could seem to be at least some version of crossover strong. And then we get Yash mad that Barrett voted to get rid of Lala. But honestly, again, I think Lala going was better for like Barrett's game.

[00:16:06] But I mean, yeah, at that point, it really didn't matter. I think we talked about that last week, but the difference between Lala and Taylor, there wasn't a big difference, at least in their standing in the game and their positioning in the game. Yeah. But this was kind of Yash's like realization that Barrett is just going to, Barrett is just going to glaze the icons. He says, LeBron James, he doesn't glaze. Who does Drake glaze? Nobody. If you're glazing,

[00:16:36] you will never be glazed. And I think Drake's glazing some people. I was about to say, Kendrick put in a whole song about all of the people that Drake glaze, but that's just me. I don't know. Maybe I wasn't paying attention. I mean, this is maybe the wrong panel to be talking about. I mean, I can't speak for everyone, but I know if Drake has no haters, I personally am dead. There's like a cutoff point with me where I enjoy his album. Yeah. I mean,

[00:17:06] like there's some bangers. You can't deny there are some bangers, right? But it's just like Yash is becoming a quite the DR king. I think I'm enjoying what he's putting out because he's so comfortable. He's found his, his lane. I know. I love, I love Yash in the DR. Like earlier this season when he's just like, I lied. I love that. And then tonight he goes, am I going to stand in it? Yes.

[00:17:36] Am I going to tell the truth? No. Am I going to lie? Yes. Like, yes. Give us exactly what we want. I know. Don't get in the DR and lie to us. Exactly. And he doesn't, and he, I like his posture. We all love a sloucher, like a DR sloucher, a DR, like just hanging over the thing. And he doesn't know how iconic that is. You know what I'm saying? Like he is for all intents and purposes that we know is essentially a recruit.

[00:18:05] So he doesn't understand that we like how we're so comfortable in the, in the diary room. So this is just him. Yeah. Well, and I think that it was on, was it on Wednesday? Brandon Donlin was like comparing it to the survivor confessionals when you're like on like a random log or whatever. But all I can think of is like old, old school, like when they had our Rob in a fish eye, like this close to his face in the middle of the night.

[00:18:35] It gives me that kind of vibe. And I love it. Makes me so happy. I just love that he has stuck around long enough to get to this DR form. So it's just like every time we, he pops up, I'm like, yes. What is he about to say? And this, this time it was about glazing. So. Okay. Am I crazy? Or does Yash like low key have like a Paul Abrahamian, like trajectory kind of going on right now?

[00:19:04] Like BB 18, Paul, like learning the game as he goes. Oh, definitely. Confessionals. Yeah. I would feel the only thing is that this bribe is limiting him because he feels like he has to throw HOHs. And if he just went ahead and got one. But this is the part of the game, right? The in, in the end game, HOHs are always important,

[00:19:32] but near the end game HOHs at a certain point are just kind of like safety for yourself. Yes. Because the voting is the real power as at points, making sure the people you want on the block are, are the real power. So Yash not being able to win HOHs, but still being able to win vetoes and vote and affect the outcome of who is on the block with,

[00:19:59] or without his veto wins actually isn't that hampering for somebody as, as now we're seeing as physically dominating or dominating as he is. So yes, it sucks that he can't win HOHs. And yes, he is handcuffed, but I would kind of argue that, you know, when he gets a final five veto, final four, like final six,

[00:20:25] like being off the block and not being HOH where you have a vote is powerful as well. Well, and Decay, so I know in the house, they think it's going to be a double this Thursday, which we obviously know is not the case because of like blockbuster timing and all of that. But yeah, and there's a two hour episode planned for September 17th. So yeah, if there's a double next Thursday,

[00:20:52] I wouldn't be shocked if Yash took that opportunity to get that HOH out of the way to like get someone like a Drew out of the house. And then he's like free and clear of his obligations. Yeah. And that, cause that would be, this is final eight. That means he would throw final seven and he would win final six, double HOH. Right. That would, I mean, that would be a perfect trajectory for him. Nobody wants final five. Yeah. So yeah,

[00:21:22] that would be a really good trajectory. I mean, the fact that we're sitting here talking about the comps that he can choose to win, like that's how strong he is at these competitions. It's when he is really good, but this is also like a very competitive, competitive house when it comes to the competition. Like they did not slouch in casting like incredibly physically fit people. Like I know the comp outcomes haven't shown like everyone equally winning,

[00:21:51] but like Barrett's really good. Drew's not a slouch. Um, I could see Taylor really excelling in some of the more mental comps. And like, it's not like she's completely not physically fit for the ones that have the component. She almost won the blockbuster on Thursday. So like there are lots more competitive options than sometimes other seasons at this point as well. And D is really good competitor. Devin is good at this stuff. Yeah. I agree. Very true. Yeah. But,

[00:22:21] but I, yeah, I'm not, again, I'm not saying I'm not rewriting history. This is really bad. It is bad that he has to throw HOHs, but at a certain point, if like, well, we'll talk about it in the spoiler section, but like, if you can affect the, the, the play of the game just by winning a veto competition, then, and you're that capable, then it's not that bad of a position. Like what I'm saying is he is in a position that he can actually overcome this

[00:22:50] bribe as opposed to like, say if this bribe was on a melody, like if this bribe was on a melody, she would be SOL. Yeah, exactly. Before we made it to the HOH comp in this episode, we did have a little bit of back and forth about who was the other vote to vote out Taylor. And that's where we got to see this conflict between D and Devin's because Devin's, he asked D,

[00:23:20] did you vote out Taylor? She said, no, he talks to Drew. Drew kind of thinks, wait, you know, she might've voted out Taylor. And so then he asked her again, like, Hey, come on, you can, you could be honest. And that's when she gets really mad because she's like, don't be questioning me. I already told you the truth. But the problem is like, she's the boy who cried wolf because she has voted and lied about it before. So it does put her in a position where people might doubt her comma,

[00:23:49] but saying to her face, you're a known liar. It's crazy. Yeah. This, this week has definitely been really funny seeing like D and Devin's is friendship. In like the big brother house, because I think there are moments where they like, one of them might be thinking real life, real world friend. And the other one is thinking big brother game while they're talking.

[00:24:17] And it's always the person who's still like in big brother mode that gets pissed off, you know? And that's exactly what it is. And it's like, how dare he think that I could lie about this vote, even though. I could lie about this vote. It's like, she is a known liar, but you shouldn't say it to your ally. Right. Yeah. It's one of those things where they have been in a house long enough to where

[00:24:46] they could bounce back from something like this so easily. Cause it's just like, at this point, your family, even though it like, even if they didn't establish that, like in game relationship during survivor 50, now being here, like it's brand new territory. They've spent way more time together than they have anybody they did on 50. So it's like, now they are at that point where she can kind of be like, look, I'm drawing this boundary. Don't, don't question me. But then it's like, okay, the next time it happens when she does lie about a vote, then he's gonna be like, well, dang,

[00:25:16] now I can't question her. So what happened? Yeah. Uh, yeah. So, uh, we did get this, uh, HOH where they had to roll these balls in, roll the correct color into the correct colored, like, uh, valley. Um, and so I thought it was hilarious when they're like getting their bearings, the comp starts, they're getting their bearings, trying to figure out how much pressure to apply.

[00:25:46] And Angela and her DR was like, well, Yasha and melody are throwing their balls, like softballs. My God. Angela was trying to get like a gift so bad of like, there's balls coming out my face. Ah, like shut up girl. Like, yes, they were throwing it. They were, they were whipping them. I'm like, what are we doing here? When you, when you see everybody else going like this and the balls like going like this,

[00:26:16] you're seeing Melody and Yash just toss it. It's like, do y'all, y'all not understand how this works. I will say this comp was really interesting. This first time we've seen this comp and I kind of liked it. It, it is a kind of an endurance aspect. Cause you do have to like run back and forth to get your balls. I would love to know what the, the comp, like the, the timer on it was like how long it was. But I do like this.

[00:26:42] Cause it also did kind of feel like a crap shoot almost as well, because you can't be up six balls and then all of a sudden a few bad throws and you're all the way back down to zero. So I, I really liked this. It was like a, a weird way to do like a competitive shuffleboard. Yeah. But just like harder. Yeah. I liked it. I loved it. I, it was the kind of thing where like anyone can kind of like get into a groove at any time and become like better at it.

[00:27:11] I think we know like they're never going to fully eliminate like physical aspects from competitions like this. So at least it's like on one level, they don't have to go up and down any stairs. Like it wasn't that far. So I think all of those things are super positive. I, I really liked it. And I think like the only thing I would criticize is like, put it on the feeds. You can put this one on the feeds. Ripple, you, you haven't done slip and slide in how many years? Give us this. You know, I,

[00:27:40] one thing I was concerned about was like, like the mechanics of throwing another ball and possibly hitting another ball. But what I did notice they were doing was after a ball made it all of the, they pushed the ball to the side. So all of the balls were like lined up on the side, which they never really showed anybody moving it. But then like, once you got like the wide shot, I was like, Oh, okay. That's how they're avoiding hitting the other balls. But I agree. That would, I would have loved to just see that. Yeah. Um,

[00:28:10] there's an elephant in the room now. And that drew. What is that? Cursed. Fuck ass Irish accent. Which we got a sneak peek of this competition on BB unlocked. And he was not doing an accent. So like, what the hell? Look, this accent compared to, uh, Barrett's veto accent, which I did entirely butcher on that last recap. It,

[00:28:37] and I think it's because like my family is country. I low key am country, but it's like. It, I can, I can control it. Right. And so we're trying to put it on and makes it seem like I'm not, but doing my natural way of speaking. But anyway, just to correct that. I know. I thought you did a great job on that. I would have never criticized. Stop, stop, stop lying to this girl's face. Blame me. Or maybe it's because you're a Canadian.

[00:29:07] That was the worst. Did I listen to the podcast on one X? No. And that might've impacted my answer. That's the key. I podcast for the two Xers out there. You're already halfway there. I don't understand why. I, but you're already halfway there. But look, you know who wasn't halfway there? Drew. But because this Irish accent was not it. Do not forget who the real enemy is. Drew's Irish accent. Because Drew,

[00:29:33] Drew's Irish accent made it seem like Cody Calafiore had trained at like Yale drama school. Like, please. It was bad. Everybody can't be Mike Bloom's, you know, fake Scottish accent on RHAP traders. So, and, and even he knew to drop it as soon as he possibly could. So, the fact that they had to have used the takes, I think they had to have like,

[00:30:04] had him like do it a couple of times and just use that, that first intro take. They, they used the intro take because after that, when he was handing Barrett the key and stuff, he was talking regularly. So, I kind of feel like this might've been a setup by production. But like, you don't have to take the bait. If you just simply never put on that horrible accent, they can never show footage of you doing that horrible accent. Very true. He did commit,

[00:30:33] which I appreciate. I appreciated that from him. Like he committed to the bit. He was to clearing out the spots. It was just like, and I think, and it was funny. Oh, that was so bad. It was funny because Melody, she was giving him his props saying he looked cute in his outfit. But then she was like, I think she kind of got the ick with the accent. And wouldn't you? Who wouldn't? Who amongst us wouldn't? Like,

[00:31:01] I feel like Melody low key has like 60% ick withdrew at all times, even when things are at like their absolute best for their little slow burn romance. Like, so I'm not surprised by that whatsoever. Yeah. So we got to see how much of like, you know, Mari, like you said, it kind of is like a crap shoot because you could be six balls in only needing a couple more.

[00:31:26] And then you land two bad ones and you're back down to like three balls successfully in the right place. But Barrett did figure out to reduce that spin, knock it off the side. And it worked out for him. I love that. And I loved that he was the only one doing that. So you also can see that there's multiple ways to like, you didn't have to figure that out to be good at the competition,

[00:31:53] which is always fun when there's multiple ways to do it. Yeah. Cause it seemed like D had really just started to get the touch. Like it looked like, like she was just kind of really feeling it. The fact that it was Barrett D and Devens that were mainly in contention here. And that all three of them were doing it in different ways was, again, it would have been great to watch on the fees. Like Asia said, it would have been very nail biting. Um, I'm sure.

[00:32:23] Can, can I ask like, what the hell is Melody doing? She said brute force is going to win the day. But she doesn't have brute force. She's like, if I just throw it directly into the slot, like a basketball, I will be more successful. Yeah. Just let it don't. Can't roll anywhere.

[00:32:53] And also who was the production assistant who got Roy G. Biv wrong? Because the indigo was not in between the blue and the violet there. Well, but also drew said teal at one point. Where is the, there's no, like, first of all, teal's not a Roy G. Bev, but also none of those were teal or even close to teal. It was like aquamarine. Maybe. Just a pale blue. Yeah. Yeah. Colorblind.

[00:33:24] Because I don't want to make fun of him if it's actual colorblindness. I've never heard him. That's what they told him to say. Cause that, that definitely sounded like it was a, a, a bite, like a. Okay. So the producer's colorblind. Possible. So we got to see Barrett do this for the pipe queen. He said, everybody should be scared. It's finally time for the middleman to make a decision. Right. Choose a side. I,

[00:33:54] well, and I love this, especially too. Cause like, I'm, I'm maybe I'm just like in the wrong. I don't know. I'm, I'm always prepared to be wrong. I, I am loud and wrong and loud or right, regardless of things. But like, I feel like he low key already had picked his side. And so, but he, for purposes of the show had not picked a side. So he had to say it like that in the diary room for the, the viewers. It's like,

[00:34:24] he hasn't had to show the house whose side he's picked. He's shown the people, the, the side he picked, he's shown them. Mm. Mm. But it's like the icons were like the only one. And I get the, I guess the icons and drew. And drew. Because drew is up the icons ass so far that he might as well be one of them. Right. Or he wants to be one of them, which I, I really don't think he understands that like coming out of the house. If,

[00:34:54] if this is supposed to be, if this is going to be like the season of the icons, if it's going to be the season where we more remember the, how the icons played, you are, you are scarily close to being forgotten because, you know, if you, it'll be the icons player who made a move against the icons. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? Like, no one's going to say, you know who did. Yeah. One guy who's stuck with the icon. And it's like, I do get it.

[00:35:23] Like for his game, being with the icons does make sense for drew at this time because of all the choices he's made in the past. He's put himself in that situation where it makes the most sense for him personally. But I'm also like, this is drew. Who's done like every like YouTube video, every game show that he can do. Like he wants screen time. And so for that purpose, he kind of should be turning on the icons. As you said, Mari. Exactly. Yeah. But I also wonder again,

[00:35:53] cause we kind of got a little bit of people talking about the America's choice thing. I'm wondering if he's now thinking, okay, the icons got it and I got it. So America wants me to stick with them type of thing. And that's why I just do not like these America's. But then why do you keep throwing Melody under the bus? She won one too. Yeah. It's like, Hey, did you forget about mosh pit? I did. She's with the icons.

[00:36:24] I did forget about the mosh pit. And so did everybody else in the house. Exactly. Everybody in it. So we did get to see, speaking of Drew, we got to see Drew's kind of like, Whoa, Barrett. Like, what are you thinking? Because Barrett confirms to Drew, you and Melody are safe. And so for Drew, he knows that means someone from the crossovers is going up. Because there's only three other options,

[00:36:52] which would include Melody. And so I felt like this was Drew finally like, Whoa, okay. He's not thinking the same as me. Wow. Because Drew wasn't thinking this way at all when he was HOH last week. No. Yeah. Yeah. So. Drew had his, had his noms and didn't really care to elaborate on them. Exactly. So, so we'll bear it. So we got this string of,

[00:37:22] uh, uh, like conversations, uh, where Barrett is confirming to Devin's and Angela that he is considering putting up all three icons. And then he confirms to Devin's like, it's either all three icons or two icons and Yash, some combination of that. Um, and in real time on the feeds, it was interesting to watch this conversation between Devin's and Barrett, because it felt like Barrett's decision is made.

[00:37:51] Devin's is doing his work of like, he's a good talker with Barrett. Right. And I was like, Barrett's not biting. He's not biting. But then you get a, a DR where Barrett's like, I low key was thinking, wait, maybe I could keep Devin's off the block, which is kind of wild. He snapped out of it. Yeah, exactly. How did that idea even float in your head? I think that Barrett is so like, I feel like he is low key people pleasing,

[00:38:21] but in a way where people like a lot of times people will say they're people pleasers, but nobody's pleased. But I feel like Barrett is a people pleaser, but people are pleased. And so I think that that enters into like every conversation that he has, or he's always willing to like hear things out and try to make the best call. Yeah. I don't know. Am I glazing Barrett too much at this point? You're not going to, you won't get any push, push back from me. I hope you said about him last time you were on the update.

[00:38:49] I won't be taking your opinion on this. I just, I will, I will just say that I think what it is, is that Barrett is thinking about all of the numbers, right? So as much as he would love to keep Devin's off the block, he knows that if he keeps Devin's off the block, then he won't have the numbers, you know, Taryn's been going over it all week, but basically if you keep Devin's off the block, you run the risk of Devin's winning POV,

[00:39:18] he's pulling one of the other icons up off the block. Then he has to then nominate either Taylor or Melody, which would more than likely be Taylor here. Then, you know, you'd have to rely on Yash winning the blockbuster. But even if Yash doesn't run the blockbuster, then it comes down to Taylor and Angela, maybe. And then now you're looking at the votes where you then need Drew to try and keep Taylor over Angela. Like Barrett completely understands.

[00:39:47] Barrett is doing the Rachel Riley. If you have, if you have the targets, you put them all up. Yep. Put every single one of them up. You can't put up so-and-so, put up a few people. And then if it lands, no, put them all up. And, and like you were saying, Kirsten, they, they say he's people pleasing, but he's now starting to get comparisons to Vinny. I don't see it. I'm sorry. No, there is,

[00:40:15] it isn't there because Barrett does normally follow through with his word. This is the only week where, and this week he's not even not following through in his word. When Devin said, well, can I get a heads up? And he said, yeah, this is your heads up. Like Barrett is being very straightforward. He's been very straightforward throughout his noms, throughout all of this, but it is easy. It is easy for people to be like, oh, he's Vinny. He's Vinny because everybody trusts him. And then he's turning his back on them, but he's, he's not,

[00:40:44] this is the first time he's made a move for his game specifically. So I'm not going to begrudge him because we've seen the icons run roughshod over other people's games. To do what they want for their personal game. So he's finally taking matters into his own hand. Yeah. Yeah. Like Vinny always had this kind of like victim mentality, even when he was winning, that is just like,

[00:41:13] not like Barrett will just matter of fact say, like, I know I'm on the bottom of this and I like need to do something to get out of it. Whereas if it's Vinny, like Vinny, like when Mallory goes up, no, don't put Mallory. No, it's not right. I need her like that. Like, it's just not the same. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I, I,

[00:41:40] I did like how Barrett eventually handles these conversations because even in real time on the feeds, it was a while before they got to that, like before Barrett did admit to Devin's and Angela, because even in his conversation with D he hadn't yet admitted that, that he was considering all three icons, but in the midst of the pre-nom drama, we got some more icon on icon conflict between Angela and Devin's and in real, in,

[00:42:08] in real time on the feeds, it was a result of Angela having a conversation with Barrett and Devin's just asking how it went. And so that's how that conversation evolved. Uh, to I'm not worried. Should I be worried? And it's because Angela already had the context that I feel like Angela felt that Devin's drew and Barrett are way too close. And she was already starting to think if anybody from the crossover goes up, it's going to be her.

[00:42:37] And she was thinking Devin's had a lot to do with that by influencing Barrett's noms. And so this was so funny because Devin's just thought he was asking a casual question. Like how was your morning? How was your coffee? And it turned into her calling him a son of a poop and Devin's calling her psycho. Well, I mean, she also like later on is like talking to the cameras and goes like,

[00:43:08] names Devin's children, which I'm not, I'm not going to do. Cause I feel like that's weird to name someone's kids. And then it's like, sorry, F your dad. Like that, that is a psycho thing to say. I'm sorry. Yeah. And the fact that I love how they, I mean, it was a chop job, but it lets me real. It was, it was definitely a chop job for the editors because they, you know, content, context nuance. What is that? Because they didn't show her in the HOH. So they couldn't be like, Oh, how was that? Like it's,

[00:43:38] it has to follow a story for the episode. Exactly. And so the fact that we do get the DR of Devin's being like, is Angela in La La Land? What is she doing? She's pretending everything's okay. We got to get active. It was so funny to me. I thought that was hilarious because he's just like, girl, we were in danger. And she's, he's thinking, she's being like, La La La. When she knows she's in danger too, but she's trying not to show it. You know, it was, it was just very funny. Yeah.

[00:44:08] It is a chop job, but I think it did a good enough job for the TV only fans to at least have an okay sense. Yeah. To see that these two are like secretly butting heads. Cause they didn't say it to each other's face. That's one step, right? They're not, they're not, uh, at, uh, I guess, well, I don't even think Devin's in Devin's and D there's a level of comfort there, which is why they can say some of the stuff they say to each other. But with Devin's and Angela, they are just not there yet.

[00:44:37] So this stuff has to be said under their breath or else it would be a fight. I, I do wish they had included when Angela was like, and if Rick Devin's rage baits me, like watch out because I, that was so funny. Of course they wouldn't. They, they, you know, the Angela's edit has been very sweet. Uh, I was out of noms. I guess. I mean, we did get to see her boohoo to bear it though. Right.

[00:45:06] Like she tried to use the, the whole, you wouldn't do this to me. Right. Like you wouldn't know you wouldn't. Right. And he, no, I actually, yeah, I was thinking about it. I'm going to do it actually. And I'm excited about it. I, but it did also like exclude the part of the story where like for a while, Angela thought she was the only icon that would be going on the blog. And so that conversation is when like, she really realizes like, Oh no, it's all of them. And like,

[00:45:34] I feel like the gravity of that was a little bit lost because of the, the job. Cause on feeds, it was funny because she went into that conversation where he's like, yeah, I am considering you. And he's like, she's like, I'm not a bigger threat than Devin's. It's like, I never said that. And why are you thinking I'm a bigger threat? He's like, no, all three of you. She's like, Oh, I, I, she said, you might want to re really rethink that. Oh,

[00:46:04] it's giving like, you're a middle school and you're like telling your mom about something. And they're like, you might want to rethink that. Right. The single tear down her face though. I, I was surprised she managed to even squeeze one out. I thought that her face was dry as a bone previous to this. So honestly, good for her. And, and bear looking her dead in her face. It's like,

[00:46:33] I think like there was a quote from the feeds this weekend. That was like, Barrett was like, Angela came to my room, like cracked out of her mind. Like she brought her cocaine and her mirror for the conversation. That was wild. And then melody did an impression. That was kind of like, yeah, melody's impression was really good. So we did get one last stitch effort from the icons to reveal.

[00:47:03] Yash's bribe, like the, the bribe that they made with Yash. And what they didn't show on the episode was that D had already told Barrett early in the day about the bribe, but, and that it covered all three icons. But Barrett didn't believe her. He's like, he, he kind of thought like, maybe she's lying. He talked to Drew later about it. Like, maybe she's like, there's no way it protects all three people. Well, the icons decided to go into the HOH room with everybody, but Taylor there.

[00:47:31] Taylor eventually does come into the room. And they explain Yash may accepted this $5,000 bribe to put up the three icon or to not put up the three icons on his next HOH. And it didn't accomplish what they thought it would accomplish. Like literally Taylor, she got her shades on. She is like dancing in the DR. She's like, get it, Yash, get that 5K.

[00:48:00] The only thing too, is that it's like, okay, yeah, 5K. I think Melody was the only one I saw on feeds actually talking about like after taxes, that is like $2,000. Like he accepted $2,000 to completely like handcuff his game. What are you, what are you doing? I, the icons needed to tell the crossovers about this bribe, like when it happened, honestly,

[00:48:28] because by waiting and then exposing the, terms, the terms only when you like are trying to like, again, save all the icons. All that does is show that you are icon strong and you are not crossover strong. Exactly. And like, this is just not a productive alliance for truly Barrett or Drew, because you're not going to ever value them. Exactly. All you did was show. That's not what Drew heard. Drew heard, I hate Yash. Let's bury Yash.

[00:48:59] Yash is lying. Which I like he is. And which is apparently his right, because I, I do kind of understand the, like, you can't lie about what the power is, but you can lie about what agreement you came to. Like, I think that's an interesting wrinkle, but don't lie to, I want to see the full document with the terms and conditions. Like the, the original rule says that the bribe is good for the rest of the game.

[00:49:26] So that kind of doesn't indicate to me that even if D goes home, it's still good. What contract says like, okay, terms, you know, the length of the agreement, what you can lie about. Like, I feel like it should just be, you can lie about everything or you cannot lie about any of it because it just feels like there's so, there's so much gray area here. Like, okay, D can't lie, but Yash can lie because it wasn't his bribe. So he's allowed to do that.

[00:49:55] But so if you're in the game, you're kind of like, why are you having to think about the production rules to know, okay, they wouldn't let D lie, but they can let Yash lie. But, but then D can lie about what it was. So it's just, you've lost the plot when you're focused on what's allowed and what's not allowed. I'm sorry. How is saving three people for the whole week? One game action. Yes. That's like six game actions. That's a lot. Like,

[00:50:25] each of them say from nominee and veto. That's six. That's not one game action. It really is. Yes. That is, that is so powerful. Way too powerful. I mean, kudos to D. It should have said for you, like one game action that benefits you individually. Yes. Well, I mean, I think that is what it said. And I mean, like good for D for taking what we all were laughing at as like an absurd, like dumb power with no meaning and turning it into something truly game breaking.

[00:50:54] Like that's very impressive. But like, stop. Like, think about it. She really kind of did circumvent all of the things that we thought were negative with the power. Yeah. She, the week prior, she offered Yash the power to keep her and Angela off the block. He said, no, he offered her, she offered him the power. Well, just keep me off the block. He said, no. So we're like, it's stupid. You could just say no, no. Well, well, the next week they can mafia boss strong arm him into accepting the bride.

[00:51:24] The thing is, is if I'm Yash in that position, I feel like he should have been like, yeah, that's fine. Nominate me. I'll win the veto or the blockbuster. And then I'm coming back and I'm going to tell everyone about what you tried to do. Yeah. And then D even confirmed to drew when they were talking about the power more that even if D is evicted, it, he, it's still binding. He still has to hold the other two.

[00:51:52] Like he still has to commit to not nominating the other two. If he, on his next HOH. On his next HOH. Wow. Yeah. So, so again, she managed to strong arm him into taking it. She managed a deal where not just her, but multiple people say, can you imagine like what production have ever stepped in? If she said, Hey, I, I want you to take this and keep me in seven people. Say,

[00:52:22] you know what I'm saying? Like what, where's the limit? Me and the Mosh pit. I, and that's the thing too. Like that at least becomes not mathematically possible a lot faster. So it's like a worse deal. Um, but here's my question. If say, Mallory had won the bribe and she tried to pull this same type of deal, would she have been allowed? Would she have been allowed to say, you have to keep me,

[00:52:51] Melody and Drew and Barrett safe? Would she have come up with it? Well, no, but that's not the question that I'm asking. Cause I think that's part of like the survivor DNA is like, Oh, you get an advantage. Let me see how I can maximize this advantage to be beneficial. Like, how can I do that? Like, how can I get this like extra vote most useful? Right. And so thinking outside of the box.

[00:53:19] And so that's what they did not account for is how someone could think outside the box with this BB bribe. And now this is probably why we would never see this power again. I don't think they're ever doing a BB bribe again after this. I hope not. At least not an open-ended one. Yeah. What happens when he's the final HOH and that's his next HOH. And it's him, D and melody final three. Oh my God. I hate it. And with Zach's bribe,

[00:53:49] if I remember correctly, Zach's bribe last, last year had like, it had guardrails on it. It was like, he could bribe the HOH. Like he had to give it to the HOH. It was a veto bribe. Yeah. It was a, it was a veto bribe. And I believe that they weren't allowed to say no to it. If he used it. Which is why it's so actually comical that he went out. Pre-jury. Yeah. I like that one better. Cause he could. Yeah. Cause he, the pre-jury, he like, they, they can't say no.

[00:54:18] And all it does is get him off the block. Like do that version, bring that version back. Not this version. Yeah. But then even when bringing. Kudos to D. Yeah. Kudos to D. No kudos to this power. Like kudos to D for maximizing this power because it has become way more powerful than they ever intended it to be. But even in this, Devin's tried to take the opportunity to say, Oh, and Taylor, Yash tried to get you out. And then you got melody giggling.

[00:54:47] Cause she's like, well, I'm the one who voted Taylor out. So that's no avoid. She's taking it to her grave. No one. Oh yeah. Yeah. But the good thing is Taylor doesn't care. Taylor. None of them. Yeah. Like all this did was submit the nominations. We got to see Barrett put up Angela D and Devin's. We did not expect to see, I mean, the way the season was looking with them in power for 60 days.

[00:55:13] We thought we'd never see the day that those three faces were on the walls together. And Barrett's nomination ceremony speech was all fine and dandy. You know, talking about them being the biggest threats until he said, Yash can't nominate any of you, but guess what? I can. And their faces just dropped. Yeah. I thought it was good, but the, the, the episode edit made it sound like he flopped that line. I was like, Oh, this is. Yeah.

[00:55:44] I don't know. I mean, my job to me, I don't know. A little weird. Then it seemed like he opened the floor for discussion because, now Devin's is trying to say like, you could stay against us. You, you would have stayed if you're against us. And then Angela's mad at Yash and saying he's lying. She swears on her grandchildren. I will. And again, this is the part that's so crazy. Cause it's like,

[00:56:11] obviously Barrett isn't necessarily believing Yash's lie because he put you all up because Yash can't. So like, what's the, what's the point in even getting. What's the truth? Yeah. Why was she telling him to swear on his brother specifically? I think they must've just had conversations about like how close Yash is with his brother. And so she's like, swear on his life, which is again, a psycho thing to do. Yeah, exactly. Oh God.

[00:56:40] But that's not the end of what we're going to see with that. They're going to continue it into Wednesday's episode. So what we're going to do right now is we are going to go into spoilers. If you don't want to hear spoilers, tap out now. We really enjoyed having you at ladies night. We have, you know, the live feed update tomorrow with Taryn. We have the round table. We got slop. We got Wednesday episode coming Thursday episode coming. So just stay tuned,

[00:57:10] just subscribe to the RHAP YouTube channel. You can get all of that content. Okay. But right now we're going to jump into the spoilers because a lot happened this weekend. Okay. The office of civil defense has issued the following message. This is a spoiler warning, a spoiler warning means that an actual spoiler against this country has been detected and that protective action should be taken. So over the weekend and thankfully all three of us here at ladies night are

[00:57:40] contributors to the live feed updates. So we're all tapped in. These weekend feeds. Amazing. So we got on Saturday, we got a veto pick, which actually had a lot of drama because Barrett had house guest choice. He chose Yash. And then Angela had house guest choice and she chose Taylor leaving drew not chosen. And he just was like,

[00:58:10] I had nobody. It's like Taylor's annoyed because Angela is like, I'm picking you. Cause you're bad basically, which like, okay, Angela glass house throwing a pretty big brick here. Cause you're no like competition beast. And then now drew is like really realizing the gravity of the situation and just how bad his position is. Like he can't even enjoy being an HOH lockdown with melody for six hours.

[00:58:40] Cause he's so upset about the game. Which is nuts. Which is absolutely nuts. You would have think that he could have made all sorts of moves there. Melody said, all he did was talk about Yash, like talk about missing an opportunity, just like a 22 year old. I will say hearing that Barrett picked Yash. I was like, that don't, that don't make no sense. I was like, y'all, y'all are just, y'all are tripping. He picked Yash's name out the bag. Y'all are just miss. Wait, no, really? You think that's the case?

[00:59:10] No, no, that's what I thought. Oh, okay. Okay. I, I, I skidded it out. I was like, Oh no, Barrett, openly pick Yash. It was just, and then when they confirmed, I was like, Oh my God. What are you doing? I know. I love it. I don't think it's that bad. Do you think it was a mistake? I like the choice. I think that he didn't have to do that. If you're going to tell,

[00:59:39] if you're going to tell Drew, I'm going to pick you, Drew, then pick Drew. The fact that he didn't come back around to Drew before it happened and be like, Oh, actually drew, I'm going to pick Yash because he knew Drew would have not liked that. I, I just think that he shouldn't have, he shouldn't have told Drew he was going to pick Drew. If he wasn't going to pick Drew, the, the pick itself. I mean, for me, I'm like, cool, but like,

[01:00:05] I don't necessarily know if that was best because if you pick Drew, Drew wins or, or he doesn't win. And you still have Yash as a backup option, especially now knowing that he can't nominate an icon. It's one of those things, right? Like Barrett needs both an icon out and Yash out, but he can't do both. Yeah. Yeah. He can't do both.

[01:00:30] So I guess him picking Yash is actually solidifying with Yash so that it keeps Yash from, you know, wanting to win an HOH and coming after him. So it's, it's not that bad. I go back and forth. Barrett is no matter what, I think Barrett is getting out and op this week. So that's all that matters. Yeah. I'm glad he committed because I'm glad he committed to wanting an icon out because, and, and it was with how they treated him. That's what locked him in,

[01:00:58] how they were treating him that morning was locking in. Okay. I just want to, I can't icon out. You can't do both. You can't get four people out. So at least commit to one category of people. And I, I'm glad that he chose Yash because Yash is not going to use it on an icon. Drew would, I don't care what people think. I think Drew def, if Drew had won, if Drew had got picked and won, he was using it. He was finding a way to use it.

[01:01:28] He would, he would try to figure out how am I going to get Barrett on board with me using it? Not, okay, let me see if Barrett wants me to use it. He's already shown his undying loyalty to Devin's. So I just thought that there was like no way that Devin's was not, or that Drew wasn't going to use it. And at least he knows if Yash gets it, he's not pulling an icon off. Why would he do that? Yeah. And like with Drew, I,

[01:01:56] I could believe that Drew would lie and say that he'll do whatever Barrett wants, but I don't like Drew doesn't come across as believable when he tells the truth or when he lies. Like he's not, he's just got like a certain weaselly quality about him at this point in his life. And like, I don't know what he can do to change that in the short, the short medium or long term. He's going to have to work on that. So, but I can totally understand being like, no,

[01:02:25] can't trust him. He wants to keep Devin's. Um, I will say Barrett hasn't done the best job managing Drew kind of all weekend long. That being said, I think there'll be fine by Thursday. I mean, I hope so that, that would be the, the one, the one constructive criticism I have for bloom for blue sky, for Barrett. He too is kind of burning Drew so much so that again,

[01:02:55] we hear Drew kind of saying that he would, he now, it is a final three of Drew Barrett and, uh, Melody that he would pick Melody over Barrett. Um, so I don't think Barrett is handling Drew so well, but hopefully if, um, um, Devin's ends up going this week again, Drew has no choice, but to get in lockstep with Barrett and Melody. Um, so,

[01:03:22] but it's just like this hole that the icons have on Drew is just so strong. Yeah. It really is. It's strong. The mist is strong, but I don't even know if it's their mist. It's like, he's missing himself. Do we think that Drew has a humiliation kink? Because I think that that could work in Barrett's favor. That's what they all say. Yeah. Everybody in the house thinks it. Have we said who won veto yet? Oh, no, we, we did not. Yash won. Yes. Yash won the power of veto.

[01:03:52] So it's the minted, it was BB comics. He beat Devin's by 26 seconds. So that's something that Devin's is kind of like stewing with. Cause it's like, Hey, what could I have done differently? But he even said Devin's was like, there's nothing I could think of that. I could have done faster. So it literally was just the speed of it. And so more than likely Yash is not using it because he's not going to risk Taylor going up. And so the,

[01:04:21] an icon will be going home. Yeah, exactly. Bum, bum, bum. Yes. You're hearing here, hearing it here second, because hopefully you've been listening to the, yeah. Anyone who is here for the live feed spoilers is surely listening to the update. Right. Yeah. And, uh, I mean, last night we, you know, we did get like a little bit of Barrett and Yash kind of saying that they'll take each other to the final two.

[01:04:50] I believe this morning as of like Sunday morning, Barrett was talking to himself and saying like, he, he will probably ride with Yash as long as he possibly can. Him still saying that getting out an icon again, it might be a detrimental to his game, but he's like proud of this move. So, I mean, like mission, mission, mission accomplished. Yeah.

[01:05:18] And I have faith in Barrett to win a veto if he needs to. Here's the thing. I don't think, I think Barrett, you know, he, he did what he needed to do in making a big move. I don't think by making this big move, he prevented himself from going on the block in future weeks. He's already been on the block. Right. He would have been on the block regardless in the future. Yeah. So I feel like all it did was put some blood on his hands because what the

[01:05:46] icons keep saying is two of us are staying, two of us are staying. So why would he do this? But it's like, he had to do something y'all. You're saying it yourselves that he, you think he has done nothing. One of them needs like, they need to leave eventually. So like, yeah, sure. Two of them are staying, but one of them is definitely going to the jury house and like get over it. We also need to talk about Barrett being, Mr.

[01:06:11] Steal Your Girl this weekend because that has been giving me life. There was a lengthy conversation Saturday night in the HOH room where Barrett's in the HOH bed. Melody is wearing Barrett's BB comics t-shirt and is all snuggled up. And he's like got his arm around her. He's like rubbing her shoulder. Really? You know, it's active cuddling, you know, it's not passive. And Drew intimate. It's intimate.

[01:06:41] And Drew is sitting in the cuck chair in the HOH room watching it happen. Yes. And Skippy's like, like zooming in on the, the, the, the caressing. I don't even know the hand. Yes. Hand caressing. And Drew was mad about it. He was, he took, he was like, Hey, anybody want to go walk outside? No. And then when Melody and when the Melodrew hours were ending at the end of the night outside, he's like,

[01:07:11] Oh, do you need to go kiss Barrett a night before bed? And Melody's like, yeah, maybe I will. Like, I'll go do that. She knows how to get under his skin. She knows what she's doing. Yeah. He's torturing that man. Yeah. That's, that's why it would be really interesting to see how much influence he has with him. With like a Melody HOH. If we were to ever see that. I don't think a lot. She, in this episode said like,

[01:07:41] I hope Barrett does the right thing and not a bitch move. Like Drew did last week. Like, I don't think that she would listen to him. I know. But will that be eyeopening for him? Is he going to be like, no, you think he, he recognizes that. Mari said that he has kicked puppy syndrome. He likes it. He's going to be like, I hope Melody wins HOH. She can put on her high heels and step on me. You know? Right here. I was like, and he,

[01:08:09] I thought it was him up and he would be just fine with it. There was one of the, one night this weekend, D was doing like, sit, like stay for Barrett and Drew. And like, I think Barrett was playing along, but I think Drew liked it a little too much. It was wild. Like I get missing your animals. I would, that would be me. That was me. That would be you, Asia? I wouldn't do that with them. No, I get missing your animals.

[01:08:39] I don't get role playing with the house guests as your animals. I don't know. You should just, that would be her. So. Bring back the, the animal, the, the dog in the house, like they did in BB 16. Oh my God. When they brought the kangaroos and the British bulldogs into BB can for. Was so cute. Yeah, it was. Um, so we need people cut throat and mad at each other.

[01:09:09] Um, all right. Anything else from the feeds, anything else from this episode tonight that we want to discuss here on ladies night? I will. I will say, yeah, we did it, but I will say this was really fun. I'm so glad that we got to talk about Barrett winning HOH. We got to talk about a big move against the icons. Cause again, this is, this is huge.

[01:09:38] This is season redirecting. Um, and the fact that, you know, we're allowed to do it. Three of us. It's great. This is fun. We did it. Yeah. This is how we win. And then like, I think that pretty much the only content from our hop con that hasn't come out yet was the special edition pod friends, um, the women of RHAP that obviously Mari co, um, chaired the, the panel with Matt Scott. It was so amazing.

[01:10:09] And I can't wait for it to be released. So everyone who wasn't there can hear it because I think it was a really productive and great conversation. But during that Asia brought up BB ladies night, which we had done once in the past when Taryn and Rob were both, um, unavailable. And then they listen, closed mouths. Don't get fed. We asked. And we're here. Right. We asked. Imagine we just like hopped on here. Rob had no idea.

[01:10:39] The stream yard. You're right. Oh, I, I do think we have a question. Did, did any of you guys get some of the BB comics? I know. Not to compare like a favorite. The only ones that I've really caught because I've been in the past. I've been a little bit less locked in today than I was, um, the rest of the weekend is that D's was D's nuts, which is actually insane. Um, but okay. Whatever. Yeah. She was the destroyer and it was like,

[01:11:09] but where D's nuts. And it's like D's nuts. Like D is nuts. They were calling her crazy. Um, and then I think they said Barrett's was the Austin gangler. Yeah. Which is like, people are like, Oh, they're comparing him to a serial killer. Yeah. I mean, they've done, this is a show that's done like several Ted Bundy or no, not Ted Bundy. Um, Jack the rubber themed one. Sorry. Jack. You're all killers.

[01:11:39] All swirling in my brain. Um, the chat is bringing up a good point. We should talk about the ceasefire, which is the alliance of all the newbies got together and said, like, let's get the three vets out. This is a newbie is winning the season. And it's like, yeah, but you also have drew in that room who has said he has no interest in getting to know Yash and Taylor personally. Like his disdain for them is kind of wild.

[01:12:03] And it's a huge hindrance in this actually being real from Drew's perspective, because he just refuses to actually get to know them, actually bond with them, actually start to like them for whatever reason. So I feel like that's the loose screw in this actually being something that they could see through to the end of the game. Yeah. Yeah. I think in Barrett's cam talk that I was talking about,

[01:12:33] he said he, he wanted to do the newbie ceasefire, but he really didn't plan to like, like immediately Yash and Taylor said, yeah, that's great. But we're targeting drew like next week. And then, you know, drew is always said he's going to target Yash. So, I mean, it was nice lip service, but I, I don't think it's really gonna, gonna hold. Yeah, absolutely.

[01:12:59] And then Angela and D have been like really trying to get something going with Yash and Taylor, which is a lot harder when you haven't been fostering personal relationships through the whole entire game. Like that. What's your last name again? No, literally. That's Barrett's superpowers are his relationships and his patience.

[01:13:23] And he had such good personal relationships with everyone that he can then turn them into game relationships when he needs to, which is really, really powerful, especially considering that he is patient and willing to wait it out until the moment is like as right as possible. Whereas just like Angela and D have not built those relationships. So it's just not something that's going to work out. Well, Taylor has been one of the most like anti vet people in the house. Yeah. So it's, it's just not going to happen, but it is.

[01:13:54] And Drew is still an extension of the icons to Yash and Taylor. So if one icon leaves this week, if Yasha Taylor or let's say Taylor, if Taylor wins HOH, I could very easily see her putting up the remaining two icons plus Drew. So. Yeah. Which would make sense. Yeah. He's made himself a very natural person to be nominated alongside them, which is very good. Exactly. All right. This has been,

[01:14:23] this has been so, so, so much fun. Kirsten, tell everybody where they can find you. Yes.
