BB28 Sunday Nominations Ep Recap, Week 5
Also available on YouTube.
Big Brother 28 is reeling from a power shift as alliances scramble and new cracks emerge after a dramatic HoH wall comp win. Rob Cesternino and Taran Armstrong are joined by Aysha Welch and Brian Scally for a lively recap episode, unpacking the chaos and strategy that define a jam-packed weekend in the house.
The Sunday night episode centers on LaTrice pulling off a surprise HoH win in the wall endurance competition, leaving the established power players off-balance. The hosts break down the rushed episode edit, noting how post-blindside fallout, a tense wall comp, and a busy scramble before nominations barely fit into one hour. LaTriceβs victory as a βthird partyβ reshuffles the seasonβs alliances, with Kamu barely missing out on HoH after a hard-fought duel. Meanwhile, Lala and Taylor quickly discuss targets, weighing the threat of house favorite Devens and pivoting to Haley, who becomes a main focus for the week. The Adam and Eve punishment lands on Mallory and Melody, and the group laughs about strategic implications, missed opportunities, and the merits of picking certain houseguests to be punished together.
- Aysha highlights how LaTriceβs HoH win throws the house into uncertainty and forces alliances to adapt fast.
- Scally digs into the logic behind Dee and Devens targeting Lyric, praising the move from a loyalty perspective.
- Taran details Yashβs emerging role as a power player and how Kamu moves from the outside to the center of the action.
- The group breaks down funny diary room moments, Haleyβs βCruellaβ reaction, and the confused, βfurnitureβ game blamed on Chuk.
With alliances reforming and the Iconsβ grip loosening, the real question becomes: Will the new anti-vet coalition stick together, or will the Icons manage to reclaim control after LaTriceβs reign?
Listen for the full breakdown, all the best moments, and what might come next in the Big Brother 28 house.

[00:00:08] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Cesternino back here with you on a Sunday night to recap a wall comp and talk about a very busy weekend in Big Brother and very excited to catch up tonight with a guy who they've been keeping him so busy. Here he is. It's Taran Armstrong. Taran, how are you? Rob, I got about 28 seconds for you. That's all I got for the podcast. Sorry. Rob, that's it? No.
[00:00:38] Rob, please. Rob, listen, I know I'm not going to be the last one on the podcast. I might as well dip out early. Rob, no, no, no. This is an endurance comp. We know you got this. All right, we're excited to be here for the first time on the recap this season. Asia Welch is here. Asia, how are you? I'm doing well. Very excited to talk about this episode. And I'm sitting here thinking if I got the Adam and Eve punishment, which of you three would I want to be attached to? Hmm.
[00:01:09] I don't know. It would be tough. I couldn't make my decisions. Right. Yeah. Let's hear it.
[00:01:15] Yeah. Listen, Asia, that we could listen. Last time I seen two survivors get together, they ran stuff. Didn't work out well, though. Yep. But Taran, did you fall off the wall comp? Did just now walk out of the frame? I'm standing on a treadmill. Ah, I wasn't sure if that was your 28 seconds and you fell off the podcast. I'll stay after that amount of time.
[00:01:45] This is what I would do if I, if that were, I'd be like, guys, I'm here, excited to be here on the podcast. Right. And then we say, well, anyways. Mm hmm. Yeah. You'd have to get a matching treadmill, Asia, if you got linked up with Taran. Yeah. To keep up. Yeah. All right. And we're so excited to have back here. I got to talk to him so much in the first half of the summer. We're talking about Love Island. Scali is here. Scali, how are you?
[00:02:14] Oh, hello. Hello. I'm so good. Just got done watching my adult Nickelodeon. I feel like I've had such a blessed evening. Yeah. That was a choice that they actually said the quiet part out loud. The adult Nickelodeon. Mm hmm. Yeah. It's a badge of honor. Apparently, you know, it's been a complaint that we've had for quite some time. But yeah. Yeah. Although, I mean, when we have the Paw Patrol stopping by, I mean, where's the lie? Yeah. I mean, I spent my summer watching people get slimed on Love Island all season. So I don't think I have a lot of time.
[00:02:44] There's a lot of slime on Love Island also. Yeah. That feels like adult Nickelodeon. This feels like it's still just regular Nickelodeon. No. Mm hmm. Yeah. All right. So we'll talk through the wall comp and then, boy, what what a weekend it was here in the house as we'll talk about Lala's big night. And of course, where she ultimately gets these nominations.
[00:03:10] It was such a small slice, though, of like the the time really from the wall comp through when the nominations came up. I guess that's what the Sunday night episode is. But there's so much that happened before this period of time and then also in the period of time which is going to follow this. And then we also had Big Brother Unlocked in the middle, which also gave us some of this.
[00:03:32] Yeah, it's a strange the Sunday episodes have been so smushed, which is weird because the Wednesday episodes are so long and they usually don't warrant the length. But then the Sunday episodes feel too short.
[00:03:46] There's so much to cram in between the post blindside chaos, the wall comp, the time capsule and then genuinely a great pre nom scramble that they had to shorten into like five minutes of airtime, which which was unfortunate because it was really good stuff. But it just I guess it is what it is at this point. Yeah, I guess we should.
[00:04:10] I guess let's should we look back at the lyric stuff and talk about some of that? Because Taran Armstrong, did we get a lot of stuff from when the feeds were down here? Not too much. I mean, honestly, the biggest part of feeds down stuff was Lala versus Kamu at the end. Sure. In the actual wall competition. Yeah. But we got that like the rest of this we saw most of.
[00:04:35] Yeah, we got a little bit of the backstory because obviously when things changed on Thursday, they could not include any of it in the Thursday episode. So they're trying to at least inform the audience at home what ended up happening. Asia, we got this a little bit more from D's perspective of why she wanted to see Lyric go home. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, it was fitting to get like her perspective because it was like she was the brains. Devin's were the feet on the ground. Right.
[00:05:05] And so I felt I felt like that was accurately portrayed. It, you know, it just felt like it wasn't enough time to truly show the chaos, the back and forth, the reasoning. So it felt like that the front end of this part of the episode was OK. And in explaining that part, but like you were talking about at the beginning, after the HOH is where the time was restraint.
[00:05:32] I was like, if any if any day needed an hour and a half, it would have been today. I know they don't have that flexibility, but it is unfortunate. Mm hmm. Yeah. Especially with the big wall comp that we have and, you know, to try to get to all of that. Scali, what do you think about the reasoning of going after Lyric here from how it was presented?
[00:05:57] I like it, I think, especially from D and Devin's perspective of like this is someone who's always going to be more loyal to the other people that are at least for now in our alliance than they are to us. That's great. Publicly, you know, the she's betraying her alliance. So who can really trust her? I don't know if that works for everyone. But I think that like as far as D and Devin's reasoning, I'm fully on board for that.
[00:06:20] Yeah. Taryn, I think the thing that they did capture, which was interesting, was that they didn't think there would be so many votes for Lyric and they thought it will blame Yash. We'll be able to really just like hide in the numbers here. And then we get eight votes for Lyric on Thursday night. It was it got too popular. Yes, exactly. Which really messed up the whole let's lie about it plan, because as Kamu describes, the math does not work here very well.
[00:06:51] The hope was to be able to claim a couple of a couple of Yash, Lala, Taylor. Now, granted, in many ways, this actually works out given the H.O.H. result. If they had put themselves into conflict with Lala for the vote and then she wins the H.O.H., that could have been bad news. So it might have actually saved them in another way.
[00:07:12] What was fun also was seeing some of Haley's investigation about who voted for whom, especially her back and forth with Lala, where Lala also presents a lot of confusion of she doesn't know what, you know, what was the vote? What was I supposed to do? And we see a clip where Haley asks Lala what she's doing with the vote.
[00:07:40] And she says, OK, OK, got it. Got it. But then does not vote that way. That was hilarious, actually. The fact that she could easily point to, no, I talk to you about this. Like you, you knew what I wanted. But that was part of Haley's H.O.H. it is thinking that whatever she says goes like this. There are votes involved. Your only job is to put the people on the block.
[00:08:06] What you want is outside of your control. You can voice it. But clearly Haley saw like that's not what's going to that's not how things are going to play out. So I loved Lala leaning into the confused Lala that she is really trying to portray, even though it's very like, do we believe it? Like, is she just this mastermind that is fully playing into the confusion, like kind of how D is trying to do?
[00:08:35] Or is it that, hey, I just I want y'all to perceive me as confused. Sometimes I may be confused, but I want you to see me how I want you to see me. It is interesting. I feel like that this is a phenomenon of I feel like that more and more people are just like feigning that they are dumb, that they're confused. It feels like this is happening more than I can recall it happening on reality TV. What do you think, Scali?
[00:09:04] Yeah, you know, I don't know if it is the concentration of egos in the household or what, but just saying like I've never seen the show. I don't even know how this works at all seems to have worked. I think for Lala, I would believe it a little bit more if I saw like a little more game sense in talks like with Taylor or her allies. But I think, you know what, if you are not fully going through, then like play to that strength. And so if you just say like, I got to get my water. What's going on? I voted with the house.
[00:09:33] Like do it. Why not? Yeah. What's happening? What is this? What is this? Okay. Chuck is also very upset. And Taren, we saw Chuck. He appeared to be like on the verge of tears in the diary room. Very emotional. Chuck. Listen, Chuck's time is over. It's no longer Chuck time. No, we're just getting started on Chuck time. Chuck time. It's Chuck time.
[00:10:04] Yeah. So good. He was so, he was so sad. And yes. I can, I can text my friends who are casuals about things going on in the house just to keep them updated. And the fact that this week, one of them said, who is Chuck? Who's Chuck? Who is Chuck? That shows how relevant you are in this house. Yeah. But he has no clue. He really thinks he's doing something.
[00:10:33] So we also got right before they go to start the wall comp. We hear that Kamu is a free agent, Taren. And this is really going to be a big deal. The free agency of Kamu. Yeah. And this is the real danger of orchestrating this as a blindside. Something else that Kamu is going to say this night that doesn't really make the episode is that like, I don't know why they lied. Because I would have been on board.
[00:11:02] Like I was in the alliance. If they wanted to go that way, I would have followed them. But instead, they showed their hand to me. And now I'm a free agent. And that is very dangerous for a player like Kamu. Who, as we'll talk about in this recap, really worked well to not only save himself and stay off the block. But integrated himself into a new kind of power structure. And that is not what you want to do when you're trying to go against someone.
[00:11:30] And this wasn't part of the episode, but it was my understanding that the Lyric blindside got accelerated when Kamu, when D felt like that Kamu was trying to undo some of the things that she was doing. Do I have that wrong? No, you don't have it wrong. Basically, D flips the vote to keep Drew against Melody, but never really bothered to flip the vote to keep Drew against Lyric.
[00:11:59] Haley was like, because the way they convinced them was saying Melody is the one person actually coming after us. So let's evict Melody in all scenarios. So then when Haley brought it to Kamu, Kamu was like, that's fine. But we're also then keeping Lyric in all scenarios, meaning we have to take out Drew over Lyric because we want to make sure we're at least breaking the couple up. Then that was brought back to Angela, which was relayed to D.
[00:12:25] And in D's mind, she had done the work and then Kamu had flipped it back. And instead of trying to like reflip it back again on her own, she kind of last minute has the idea. Let's flip it. And and while we're at it, let's also flip to keep Melody over Lyric because screw Kamu. I want to keep Lyric. Yeah. OK. And so that is a big part of it that Kamu doesn't know. And I don't think ever will know until he watches the show.
[00:12:54] OK, let's go back to my birthday, October 20th, but not 1967. We're seven people. OK, and let's go back to some sort of a scally. We're at some sort of a camp where there's a Sasquatch. Yeah, you know, just one of those normal camps. Sasquatches. OK, not Egyptian. I'm glad we cleared that up on the episode once again. But yeah, I thought this was a cute little theming for a walk on. Yeah, this was fun.
[00:13:23] And Asia, I know that Haley gets a lot of flack. Like I was every time she came out and said, oh, no, I was I was dying. It was comical how awful she was in hosting. And like I it was impressive. I think it takes an extra level of effort to be the way Haley was in this comp because you can just be excited. Right. You could be excited.
[00:13:53] The things are going on. It's a new day. You're finally outside. Y'all been cooped up inside for so long because they've been building this wall. And she just couldn't. I mean, obviously, she'd just been blindsided. So she's she may be a little down. She feel like she has no one. But she couldn't even fake being excited. Yeah. Send her to the bold and the beautiful. She can come back with Rachel. First choice. Yeah. Yeah. I think at one point she was like, oh, yeah, I realize no one was listening to me. So I just was talking.
[00:14:21] It's like, yeah, not the three plus million people listening to you on the episode. That doesn't matter. Oh, it's actually because she's had four really bad weeks. Yes. You know, it's really weighing on her. Can't keep a break. Can't catch a break. She can't get one easy day. It's always something. It's always something. So. All right. Scali. Melody tells us that she was in the Bigfoot Club. You know, I didn't have that at my school. Maybe we were underfunded because Bigfoot Club.
[00:14:52] You know, I don't know if it was. Maybe I didn't have enough time. Maybe he was there. Where's Melody from? Is she from a high Bigfoot seeing area? Arizona, right? Hmm. Yeah. There's no Bigfoot in Arizona. There's no forests. Bigfoot would be hot as hell in Arizona. Yeah. I don't understand anything from Melody's home life because now we have on top of being a corporate show. No, a corporate game show host.
[00:15:21] I'm in corporate. I've never done a game show. And I've been in corporate for 12 years. So I don't understand like where this. When did this? When did this start? Yeah. Asia, I think that's on you. I'm missing out. Yeah. Apparently. So he grew up in Colorado. Okay. Yeah. Not a big, maybe, I guess maybe Denver. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know anything about Bigfoot. I don't know where Sasquatches live. Yeah. It was like Pacific Northwest. Yeah. But Asia.
[00:15:50] So we actually, we had a, on the call-in show the other day, a long time RHAP contributor Aaron Robertson called in. He has the same job as Melody. Oh. And I think that this is more of like, it's like an escape room, I think, more than something that, and maybe like businesses might be able to hire it out. But it seems like it's like an escape room that you go to that it's like you and your friends are on a game show. Okay. That I have done.
[00:16:19] We've had a game, an escape room come in like a trailer outside of our office. And then we were able to do an escape room as like colleagues right there at the office. Yeah. That makes sense. Okay. I get it. And if I have that wrong in the chat, let me know. But all right, let's get back to the wall comp. By the way, are we concerned that Bigfoot might have pink eye? Yeah, I could scream like that. That was gross.
[00:16:51] Oh no. It's a bad case of pink eye. Like, bleh. Oh no, he's pinching it. Yeah. No, don't touch it. He's like, oh no, he's nauseous. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Angela, we should reference 28 seconds for Angela. This is a record, Taryn. I mean, listen, it beats Kyle. Mm-hmm.
[00:17:22] Yep. So, Angela ends up going out. And then everybody's in it for a little while. We have, not until Taylor comes down, about 30 minutes in. But, Taryn, this was one of the longer wall comps. Did you notice anything that led to it being one of the longer ones? Uh, it was one of the longer ones in the season.
[00:17:48] But even then, it's like not that much longer, necessarily. Really, the biggest thing is that they weren't really pushing, I think, the contestants for the first roughly 30 minutes. And then they started really, then they all started kind of dropping. But another aspect of it was, of course, that they had a whole bar to hold on to. So, this was not going to be grip strength that goes out. Instead, it's going to be like your whole like shoulders and arms and like core. And you got your whole body you can put into this rather than just like one hinge point.
[00:18:18] Yeah. It being adjusted for height, I feel like, was so helpful also in like certain people actually having a chance of staying on longer. Yeah. And they had the option, right? They had the option to switch between their grip strength behind them and then the bar in front of them. So, it felt like people like Yash and Kamu, it really worked out for them because they were switching.
[00:18:42] Asia, were you surprised that Dee was not one of the final competitors in this? I kind of felt like, she even said in the episode, you're like, oh yeah, I'm built for this. Look, my mom texted me during the comp and said, is Dee throwing these comps? I thought she was really good at these. I was like, I don't know. Maybe they are that hard. Like, maybe it's just tapping into something different. I think it's pretty obvious.
[00:19:12] She had, she's been nerfed. She has to wear shoes. She's not going to use her toe. She's too fed, actually. That's what it is. Yeah. The fact that she's, she has, she's well rested. She has food in her stomach and then she's having to do these comps. She's not used to, used to those conditions. I want to skip ahead to Kamu and Lala at the end. Is there anything else from the wall comp that anybody wants to highlight?
[00:19:42] I thought with the trend of like alum coming back, I thought somebody was going to be Bigfoot. Right? You didn't see Jesse? He's, I think he's been in that Sasquatch costume himself before. No, like, I believe it. At least a gorilla one. Yeah. They did. This was obviously not on the episode, but they did start chanting as a mantra.
[00:20:12] Rob is a podcast. Rob is a podcast. Rob is a podcast. As they were struggling on the wall. So that's funny. Yes. And we wish that it was more successful for the people that were doing that. Yeah. Yeah. And listen, cowards, put it in the edit. That's all I'm going to say. I made it up here on lock next week. Yeah. Why are you hiding the truth? Only Survivor will do that. Yeah. All right. So Kamu versus Lala.
[00:20:39] And Taron, sadly, we did not get to see this final head-to-head battle on the feeds. It was really fun to watch here in the episode. But boy, it probably, it was, it's tough if you were sitting there like 2.45 a.m. on Friday morning. Yeah. Yeah. It's frustrating. It's frustrating because it was super dramatic and fun, too. Yeah.
[00:21:09] The feeds cut basically right after Kamu said he could be up there all night, which was basically right before. He has this incredibly dramatic slip of like, woo, woo. And then it's like, is he going to be able to hold on? No. And then he flips back. I mean, what a finish to a competition, especially finishing in that way to Lala, who crushes this. Very fun moment, both on the feeds and on the show. I thought this was really cool to see. Yeah.
[00:21:39] And Kamu looks like that he's ready to go for much longer. Lala looks like she is about to lose it. And you see, it seems like that Kamu is kind of negotiating from the position of, hey, Lala, I won't put you on the block. He's negotiating from the position that she's going to drop and he's going to win. And ultimately, he has this slip and he isn't negotiating for himself. It's not even on his mind that he that Lala will win and he could end up going up on the block.
[00:22:08] This Taron, he doesn't make a deal here. And it almost comes back to bite him. It really does almost come back to bite him. And they're not kidding, too, when they talk about how it felt like Kamu was looking really solid compared to everyone else. Like throughout the entire competition, Kamu looked generally the best on the wall. And I think he felt that confidence, too. He had only just started to look like he was struggling toward the end. But Lala had been struggling a little bit.
[00:22:38] So it really didn't seem like she would be able to outlast him. But slip happens. And the edit really edited this beautiful moment for Lala, who was in disbelief that she won the wall comp. It was so good. Just like even when the feeds went down and I was like, I had enjoyed Big Brother so much that day. Back to like Kamu's going to win HOH.
[00:23:07] I hate Big Brother again. It's cutting to like it coming back and Lala celebrating. Like it was so fun. She just like fully at that point was saying like, all right, I'm about to fall. If I fall, please don't put me up. Please don't put me up as a replacement nom. Cut to she wins HOH. It was such a cool, like fun moment. Everyone in the house, Angela's just cheering, crying hysterically for her. It was really, really fun. Yeah. I love how they edited it because in real time, I was in my bed.
[00:23:37] I had the feeds on. The feeds go off of the puppies. The wall comp starts. Next thing I know, I'm waking up. I had fallen asleep. I'm waking up to them in the kitchen. I'm like, oh my gosh, who won? I have no idea. And then I see the necklace around Lala's neck. It's like, how did that happen? And so I really enjoyed actually getting to see it play out, all of it. So it was just a beautiful moment that like, we just, you can't write this, right?
[00:24:06] Like it was just so cool because if you, if we were placing bets, which we're not, if we were placing bets. Some people are. Some people are. Who would have won this? Lala was not at the top of the list. And so I love that she got this done because that was just, I mean, amazing.
[00:24:29] Let me also apologize to Lala, who I personally said in the week where Jason went home. I was like, what are we doing with Lala? Seems like a nice lady. I'm not calling her Cruella DeVille, but I'm saying that what is she going to do? She can't even hit a pickleball. What is she doing? She's not a player in the game.
[00:24:53] And now all of a sudden, here we are in a Lala wall comp win and a hugely pivotal week in the season, Taryn. Yeah. To be fair to you, she was also saying, I can't even hit a pickleball. So not out of, out of the realm of possibility there. Um, but yeah, I mean, just, this is, this is big brother at its best in terms of like competition outcomes.
[00:25:22] Uh, and this is exactly the kind of wall competition I want to see where Lala wins. And what does Lala want in all of this? A big thing just happened. Uh, lines were drawn in the sand, blind sides, the entire power structure has been turned upside down. And instead of one person from one of that, one of the sides of that thing happening,
[00:25:43] winning it's third party Lala who has no loyalties to any one particular faction has her own motivations. And now all of a sudden the entire house is spinning in circles, trying to adjust to Lala's structure. Uh, and that's great. That's exactly what we want. And it was also a nice moment. Uh, Taylor celebration for Lala also to see how she was like, right down.
[00:26:12] I'll be like, you did it. I just love the face she made in the diary room. I thought that was phenomenal. Yeah. And Taylor knows this is also going to be a big moment for her in the game. Uh, Lala H-O-H. Yeah. This isn't the first time we've heard Taylor say that she's playing for two. Like this has been building up. So the fact that she's well aware that her voice is going to, uh, be weighed heavily, uh, with Lala this week.
[00:26:40] She's like, this is, this is a great win for me. We're up. Okay. All right. It's also a great win for Mallory to find out that she is gets the BB time capsule also in this episode. Although sadly, uh, she ends up getting a punishment. Unfortunate. You know, the odds were against her. There were five punishments, only, uh, four rewards left. And of course it's like, all right, it finally goes to someone other than the icons. Who's it going to be?
[00:27:09] We find out and they get nothing. Shouldn't she have chosen D? Well, yes. This is, this is a big topic. Actually, the people have mentioned like, who should she have chosen for the punishment? Uh, and everyone's like, well, obviously you should choose somebody like D who's like really strategic. You'd like either get in on her conversations or block her conversations. But like, I do think there it's, it's not like that, like super that simple. Right.
[00:27:39] Like, cause it's not like it's subtle. Like if, if, if Mallory picks D, D's not going to be like, Oh, what? That's weird. Uh, nothing. She just happened to, he's going to be like this motherfucker. She's trying to block my conversations. Really? You pick me, not Barrett, not Melody. I see what you're doing, Mallory. Uh, so like, that's, that's a little weird, but also, and I, and like I said, I'm not, I'm not necessarily saying that she's like consciously thinking of these things, but I
[00:28:08] actually think this is a great move to help Melody get the vote next time. It's guaranteed screen time for Melody. Uh, Mallory is the fan favorite right now. And so her sort of like being like, Melody's my friend, we're going to be hanging out this, we're going to have a whole segment on Wednesday, uh, where we're doing funny things, uh, for the audience to see. It's kind of like the best thing that she can do to bequeath the power to, uh, to the next person. So I actually don't hate it for that either. Yeah. That's interesting.
[00:28:37] Is the HOH off limits for the Adam and Eve power? Not that she was in danger growing up on the block. I was going to say, I do think it's happened before. I think Taylor got it herself though. Right. And as a veto punishment. Um, so I don't think she was chosen, but, uh, theoretically, I think you could probably choose the HOH. Yeah. You can, I really wanted the HOH bed. Listen, you gotta be in on all those meetings.
[00:29:05] Like the renom, like, uh, you're, you know, Mallory. I don't think I've seen Mallory in the HOH room, uh, for more than five seconds all season. She's finally got up there. It's going to be a huge moment for her. Yeah. That's fair. I did love Angela's comments. Like, I'm glad this wasn't my punishment. Yeah. Um, I, I know also Taryn, there's been talk about, uh, drew and Barry.
[00:29:35] It really being, uh, sidelined this week. Uh, and I have to think that it is not a coincidence that after the even Eve punishment was handed out that these guys are not, are, are suddenly just even more attached to Mallory and melody. Yeah. Yeah. Drew, especially, uh, is like, uh, the, the, the participation of a third party is not, uh,
[00:30:02] hindering his desire to hang out with the three of them. Uh, he's, you know, he's got a little bit of, uh, uh, Zach in him in that way. Um, and so, uh, um, yeah, I mean, you, you saw him in this episode. You saw where his eyes were going. Okay. All right. Um, let's. Sorry, I said Zach. I meant Bryce. I was kind of, I was trying to remember his name. And he was there too. Yeah. All three of them. Somebody's always underserved in a threesome, said, uh, Bryce's grandma.
[00:30:32] Okay. Yeah. All right. Uh, let's, let's talk about Lala's decision here. And we see her and Taylor working together. But interestingly, uh, she does say that she starts with Rick Devins. Which is the reasoning though. Hilarious. Rick Devins is, is a fan fave. We can't have a fan fave at the end when America votes.
[00:30:57] Like it was, was the quiet part, which is like, it doesn't matter if you have a fan fave at the end. Like America is not voting. No one's vote. The jury is voting. So it's like, if he, if he's not a fan fave in the house, it's okay. Uh, I do think there is like a slight element on a big brother contestant of like, if I vote for a fan fave and I want to be liked by America, like, I don't think that that would necessarily hurt my chances. Yeah.
[00:31:26] I mean, she also like, she has not forgotten what Devins did to Rome. Uh, Rome was her guy and Devins did him dirty. Right. Uh, and so that is, that is something that she definitely like the North remembers and, uh, and Lala will, will remember. She was very upset that night. Yeah. Okay. Uh, but it's Taylor says, no, no, no, no, no, no. Haley, Haley. Remember? Come on. I think Lala is very, very quickly gets on board with that.
[00:31:57] Yeah. It's the, it's the, it's not a heart sale. Yeah. Okay. Um, and then, uh, she's looking at a back door of Haley and Barrett and Drew and Kamu. Okay. Uh, those are the nominations. Um, we're also starting to see, uh, a little bit more Yash in the episodes. Okay. Uh, Scali, are you pumped up to see a little bit more Yash emerging? That's a word.
[00:32:24] Um, I think that it's fun to, uh, see Yash a little bit more active. Uh, I think that, uh, like, I don't know where he's actively going is my favorite, but I am happy to see him like playing the game, taking charge, like having his own reads. So, and I think that he's like decently fun in the diary room. Yeah. Well, let's talk about this because I, I happen to be, uh, checking out this like couple hours before the feeds ended up going down on Friday afternoon.
[00:32:54] And Taron, Yash did seem to be very activated during this period. Yes. Um, and, and very much he should have been right. Like he was on the other side of a vote. He chose not to participate, uh, from what we can tell. Um, but, uh, but theoretically that could have hurt him, but the, he ends up in a position where Lala is the HOH. There's a bunch of chaos. The power structure has been demolished.
[00:33:19] This is the perfect opportunity for a player like Yash who has good relationships, uh, and a decent strategic sense, uh, to, to, to pick his people. And he chooses the right horse to ride in on, which is Kamu. Uh, instead of Chuck, um, he uses the relationship he does have with Lala and Taylor and, uh, and he has now established himself as like a real genuine power player in the house, uh, in,
[00:33:46] in this kind of like grouping that we'll talk about that Kamu helps establish that Yash helped establish, uh, which is Yash, Kamu, Lala and Taylor. Um, and, uh, and it's, it's been a huge turnaround for his game. Not that he was in a terrible place, but he's even helped, uh, he's even kind of squashed things with Angela, which is a live feed thing we've been tracking for a while, which was the thing that I was concerned about if things had stayed the same for him.
[00:34:13] Um, so Yash is looking real good. Uh, he is, he is out of the can and, uh, and, and out into the streets. Yeah. I don't know. We want the can, the Yash can, I guess. Yeah. I guess he's, he's been, he's been cleaned the streets and put, put it into the, I'm trying to make like a New York thing happen here, but yeah. Um, now Yash can just doesn't make sense to me in general. I'm sorry. Yeah.
[00:34:42] We're still waiting for, uh, some more information of, to make it make sense. But as far as Chuck goes, Taryn, on Friday, did, did Chuck just park himself in the HOH room and basically acted like he was cool with Lala this whole time? Yes. Yeah. A hundred percent. That's what he did. Uh, he was like, uh, I, oh my God. I'm so happy for you.
[00:35:11] This is going to be such a great week. And Lala and Taylor were kind of like, ah, this guy. I mean, we won't nominate him, but like, ah. Yeah. Which obviously didn't last. Yeah. But that's the, uh, late conversation that ends up, uh, coming up because it's where we see Yash and Chuck talking in the episode. Um, it's really the, yeah, that Chuck is shady is a lot of the conversation that ends up helping
[00:35:40] to, uh, save Kamu here. Yeah. And, and Kamu is actually able to use. So basically this whole Angela thing stemmed from Chuck who told Angela in front of the whole red corner group that, uh, that Yash had said her name, that she could go, um, because he had said something along the lines of like, he doesn't have a great relationship with the Angela. She's somebody that could go. Uh, and this, of course it's Angela. It set her off. She's been anti Yash ever since.
[00:36:08] Um, and so, uh, so Kamu was able to use that information. Hey, Chuck was trying to turn people against you. Yash. We saw that he used information with Taylor as well. Chuck's been with deep in deep with Chuck. Uh, Kamu has been in deep with Chuck all this time. Uh, so he has so much dirt to jump, to dump on, uh, him with, and he, he successfully did. Just firmly be like, all right, all in with, uh, Kamu and we're dumping Chuck.
[00:36:38] Uh, and, uh, and we're moving forward in this direction. And, uh, and it, and it works for both of them. And it's so funny with the whole Yash of it all, how much beef he has internally with Chuck. Not just at Chipotle. Right. Um, that, you know, they voted together. Like, yeah, they voted lyric. They're like out together.
[00:37:04] And it's just like, Chuck is doing such a terrible job proving his innocence, I guess, in it that Yash is like, absolutely not. Can't trust this guy. He's always been shady and never once believed a thing he said. Yeah. Yeah. Someone should tell Chuck that he's this active lying player because, uh, I would love to see it. So, uh, Kamu ends up going to go to Lala and then he has a conversation and he remembers
[00:37:32] the time that Chuck said that Lala can go. She's making food for everybody. And she thinks that that's going to save her. Yeah. Yeah. He probably said it sometime once. Who knows? I, even if this was just like active lying, like I always think people should do more active lying. So good on him. I mean, everyone said this about, about Lala.
[00:38:01] Like, uh, like it's a pretty, it was a pretty, especially was a pretty common sentiment. Um, but Chuck's the recipient here because Chuck's the person that he needs to throw under the bus. Um, funny enough, Chuck is going to try to, uh, to essentially tell Lala this later. Uh, everyone talks about you. Um, but that's not a good way. That's not a good way to start it. Yeah.
[00:38:27] Just the audacity of Chuck to even utter any type of words like that to Lala. Uh, it's, it's just, it's an, it's annoying. And it's the fact that Chuck just thinks he's so he's in a position to give advice in this game. Oh, because he's killing it as on the block. You're on the block. Steamrolling. What are you doing? Yeah. That's what the audience wants. The fans like it. Yeah. Producers dream.
[00:38:58] So, um, I want to talk a little bit about Taylor and Kamu who we hear get linked together, uh, really for the first time on the show. And in the diary room, Taylor tells us that her and Kamu, uh, are connected over a shared faith. Faith. This is something that I was not aware of. And, uh, it was definitely a surprise to me in the episode. Yeah. Faith is very important to both of them.
[00:39:26] Uh, it tracks to me that that was sort of the origin of their bond. They have had a bond. We've talked about it. Uh, but, but man, did the, did the producers, when they got that diary room from Taylor saying Kamu is a good person. Did they go? Oh, just wait until those Twitter people get a load of this one. Uh, what do we need to do to put this in the edit? Aha.
[00:39:56] Social media. What? Yeah. I think that clip has been tweeted at me like six times already on form. Like, okay. Okay. All right. So. Yeah. Lala's ready. She's going to put the big dogs on the bench and we end up getting our nominations and it's Barrett and it's Haley and it's Chuck. And so she, yes.
[00:40:22] I, I just, I, you know, when we saw the time was like, okay, it's like, okay, about 18 minutes left in the episode. How are we going to fit this in? How are we going to fit in all this back and forth? And I love that with the final edit, we get nothing about Barrett. Like imagine watching this and just wondering what did Barrett do? Why is Barrett on the block? Did Barrett fight for his life? Did he try to not get on the block? They said that, okay, we could put him up on the block. It's fine.
[00:40:52] He's a, he's a pawn. All right. And she said to him, uh, uh, Barrett bear, you know, I love you. Oh yeah. Yeah. They didn't make room for this in the edit, but Barrett and drew were both told they were going on the block to the point where they both went up to try to argue themselves off of it. Drew got dressed up, requested a specific like screen to be put on, on the nomination block.
[00:41:20] Uh, and then was blindsided when he wasn't put on the block, which is, I always think a really fun thing to put in an episode, but they didn't have time for it. That's why he's dressed up in the way he is. And he's, he's more surprised than anyone that he's not on the block. Yeah. So in addition to Barrett, it is Chuck and Haley who go on the block. Haley, Chuck, you guys are a strong couple. They're a strong couple. Strong couple. It wouldn't let that go.
[00:41:50] After her. It's not a showman's. She used the, her using this specific word was something they could cling onto for the next couple of days because they would not let, we're not a couple. Why would she say we're a couple? It's not, it's not a showman's. Why is she saying this is showman's? Con is that showman? Should have a fake breakup. We're not a showman's. Yeah. Okay.
[00:42:12] Uh, but then we get, and it was a pretty light Haley episode in terms of diary rooms and, you know, she, we saw her shot and then she gives us, wow. Uh, let's listen to this. Cruella. I gave you three passes. And I'm like, wait, hold on a second. Did you just call Lala Cruella? What? Just out of thin air. Okay.
[00:42:43] Lala? Who's the puppy in the scenario? I don't know. She is a dog lover. Say what you want about Haley. She is a, she is a dog lover. Everyone needs a good treat. Puppy. She just can't catch a break. Mm-hmm. It's the thing too is it's so, I mentioned this on an update, but it's so good that during Haley's HOH week, when they were debating who should be the replacement nominee, whether
[00:43:10] it should be Lyric or whoever else, um, people kept bringing up, why not just put up Lala? Uh, like Lala's fine pawn to put up on the block. And Haley kept saying, no, no, Lala's not a threat. That would be an effing waste of a nominee. That would be a personal, emotional decision, not a strategic one. So, huh, not going to do that. Um, and whoops. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
[00:43:40] It's, it's, it's a work of art, honestly. Yep. I, I do want to listen to the three things that Haley's three things that she gave Lala, AKA Cruella. Okay. Here, here she goes. Cruella, I gave you three passes. I gave you my vote before evictions. Okay. I gave you my vote before evictions. So, that was what? That was vote out Melody or that's where the week that she was on the block?
[00:44:10] I think it was her telling her that they should vote out Melody. Okay, I don't know what that, I don't know what that is. Is that a favor? I gave you my three passes. I don't really know what these things are, but okay. I told you what to do. I told you what to do and you didn't do it. Okay. Yeah, I did, I thought it was more like she would not, she would give her, she would not vote her out when she was on the block, but it's, I see the other read too. Okay. Number two, I didn't put your ass on the block. And three, I didn't put your ass on the block as a f***ing cop-not. Okay, I didn't put you on the block. I didn't put your ass on the block.
[00:44:40] That sounds like two and two A's. On the block as a have-not. Okay. But wasn't Lala a have-not last week? She's saying, she's like, I didn't put you on the block, one. And then while you were a have-not, I did not put you on the block. She's trying to make it two points. There's only one thing. She was, as she's speaking, she's like, I've already committed to saying three and I don't have a third.
[00:45:06] So I'm going to have to just make a two A to sub this in and hope people don't pay attention and clip it. Yeah. Why are you putting me up? I didn't. I told you what to do and you didn't do it. And then I didn't put you on the block, but I did make you a have-not. And didn't put you on the block while you were a have-not. She's the best.
[00:45:35] I can't lose Haley this week. She gives us so much. More than Chuck. More than Chuck. That blockbuster is going to be happening and I'm like, I'm not going to look, but like might be, I don't know if I'm rooting for someone or rooting that something doesn't happen. Yeah. And then she tells us. Man, I don't even think I've had one easy day in this house. One easy day. No. It is.
[00:46:06] I mean, through the four weeks that me and my alliance were in power, you know, it was just really tough on me. Didn't have one day. And now we're not in power and it's like, what? When can I catch a break? It's been like four whole days since I've been out of power. Yeah. What are we doing? This is her subtle campaign for the BB time capsule. She just, she has no idea. We're watching feeds.
[00:46:35] We're watching the episodes. And she just thinks, okay, if I say these things enough, they're going to think that I really need something because I'm really struggling. Okay. We have so much other things to talk about. So is there anything else from the episode you want to mention?
[00:46:59] Otherwise, let's, let's talk about a jam packed weekend of things happening in this crazy big brother house in the spoilers. The office of civil defense has issued the following message. This is a spoiler warning. A spoiler warning means that an actual spoiler against this country has been detected and that protective action should be taken. Okay. All right. All right.
[00:47:29] A lot happened over the weekend. Messy, messy girls, some boys. Yes. Yeah. Yes. So Taryn, where was the right place to start? I guess we can start with, you know, Kamu keeps himself off the block. Yeah. Everyone's surprised. Kamu pretends to be surprised as well.
[00:48:00] And in general, this Kamu, Yash, Taylor, Lala group feels very anti-vet. In fact, Kamu pitches for Dee or Angela to be the renom. Um, so it's kind of like red alert for the vets. Uh, in the meantime, they kind of recognize that it's kind of red alert. And so they're a little worried about what's going, what's going to happen. Uh, so they're trying to get back in with Taylor and Lala. Taylor and Lala, in the meantime, know that they have been lying about their votes.
[00:48:30] Taylor encourages them to come clean because it is no point in continuing to lie when they already kind of know. Uh, so Angela paranoid that it's going to be told to them anyway, uh, comes clean to Haley about her vote. Haley is incredibly upset. She, you, you know what really gets me going is that you shouted out my parents in the vote. And then you lied to my face right after.
[00:49:01] What, what, what is even that? Uh, Haley's very upset. Uh, Angela then encourages Dee, you should tell Kamu about your vote. So Dee goes to Kamu trying to win him back over so that he doesn't join an anti-vet alliance, uh, and tells him about her vote and tells him about how she doesn't like Haley and that Haley's really the reason why they kept the vote from him in the first place. And he's like, oh, that's a relief. You didn't hate me. You just hated Haley. Ooh, good to know. Bendy says, ooh, and there's something else.
[00:49:30] I have a power. I, I, I didn't, I didn't plan to tell you my heart is shaking, but man, I do have a power. Uh, which is very risky, but it does work for now. And Kamu has been won back over by Dee and Angela, and he is now no longer an anti-vet force. If anything, he is now trying to bring her in to the Yash, Taylor, Lala grouping, but Yash, Taylor, and Lala don't want them in. They are still very anti-vet.
[00:49:59] And once Haley's gone, they want to go after the vets. I'm talking about all of this because Kamu ends up winning the veto. He doesn't plan to use it. And Haley is still the primary target. So there's a lot of stuff happening. And in the meantime, by the way, the FAP Alliance, uh, which if you don't know is Drew, Barrett, uh, Melody and Mallory, they are just kind of hanging around, uh, in costumes. Fapping. Um, yeah, they're just, they're just kind of fapping around, you know?
[00:50:28] Uh, so, um, so that's kind of where we are. There's a lot of, it's a lot of stuff. There was a huge argument that took place, uh, that, uh, that had Angela going. I can't air that on TV because I was like, F-F-B-B-B. Oh, well. Oh, well. So nobody will be able to see that shit. Oh, well. F-F-F-B-B-B.
[00:50:52] So, yeah, this big, this big blow up between Haley and Angela, which, uh, was not on the feeds. And hopefully we will see on Wednesday, uh, did, was there any intentionality from Angela to go just full all curses to, to hide it from us? I mean, from the description and from Angela's retelling, I, I think she blacked out. I'm not going to lie.
[00:51:18] I think that, like, it was, like, the, the demon came out, like, uh, like she was possessed. So, no, I don't think it was intentional. Yeah. I'm so excited. I know. I just can't wait to hear one solid beep, like, through it all. That, that would be fine. Mm-hmm. That can make air. Yeah. Well, Angela's? That was a fight between Angela and Haley.
[00:51:44] It was basically part two of the confrontation about Angela lying about her vote. Yeah. Scali, uh, what were you saying? I was gonna say Angela's talent is finding, like, the right target to generally still be well-received by the audience in this. Because Angela will go into a screaming rage and still come out looking like the most sane person in the argument there. Yeah, Taryn, from my understanding of this, it sounded like that the thing that really triggered
[00:52:11] Angela was that Haley seemed to have information that, that, that Angela was blaming D for the lyric vote flip. Is, is that correct? Yes. That in the conversation with D present, Haley said, well, you tried to put the blame on D when we were up on the balcony. Uh, and Angela's like, that is not true. That is not true.
[00:52:39] Uh, and, and Haley was like, really? Because I asked you, did D vote that way? And you said, trust your gut. F, F, F, F, F, B, B, B, B. Yeah. To me, that is, like, the most incriminating part. Like, that reaction is like, oh, okay, 100% this is true and you don't want me to say this.
[00:53:09] But, but that, I guess that's not how people have received it. That people have, that, uh, people have said that this was somehow, um, they don't see it that way. Yeah, they said Haley mistreated Angela in this conversation. Lala came in to break it up and be like, shame on you. That was ugly behavior, Haley. Yeah, and even coming out of that conversation, D did not take that as Angela threw me under the bus. She's like, I didn't like the way that Angela, or, uh, Haley and Chuck were talking to Angela.
[00:53:40] Like, that was the biggest thing she took away from it. So, the person that Haley was trying to give this information to, like, it backfired. Yeah. Did that Angela-Haley conversation happen on the feeds? The, the balcony one? The trust your gut. No, no, no, no. The, the, the, the conversation that got, that got quoted. Uh, it, it was, it, from what I could tell, if it took place that day, it did not, uh, I don't think it took place on the feeds. It's possible they're referring to an earlier conversation.
[00:54:09] Um, so, uh, it, it, it is possible. She did, like, when asking about D earlier in the day, Angela was very much like, I don't know. I don't know anything about anybody else. I'm, I can only speak for me. Um, so, uh, but there were a lot of conversations that took place over the course of a couple of days. So, it's very, very possible that it did happen at some point. Okay.
[00:54:35] How looped in are Chuck and Haley that the Vita will not be used? They, no. They've basically been told by Kamu that he's not going to use it. He's come up with various stories. Uh, he worked with Lala to say that Devin's might go up on the block and so he can't do it for that reason. And, uh, and then he talked to them about it and he talked to Chuck about it and he was
[00:55:02] like, well, I can't really do it because Haley is not like trustworthy because of what she did when she tried to make a deal with Mallory to keep herself safe, but not us safe. Um, and so he's just doing everything he can to kind of like, uh, make it their fault that it's not happening. It's just not landing with them because they're like, they're like, why is he trying to make it our fault? This is really, I mean, it's classic Kamu stuff. Uh, and it's just pissing them off even more.
[00:55:30] And so for Haley and Chuck, other than having a pity party, are they, are they trying to like throw any, anybody else under the bus? I mean, they feel like that they have like five weeks of being in the red corner and the tool shed. It seems like that they could be spilling this to somebody. This, the story is like, cause their original plan, I left this out cause it's not super relevant. They didn't win the veto, but Haley's plan was to win the veto and not win the veto.
[00:55:59] Not use it as a show of loyalty to the red corner slash the tool shed or the remainder of the tool shed, uh, to be like, Hey, if we're up against, if one of us is up against Barrett, who we feel confident we can beat in a blockbuster, then we have the votes to stay. And so as per usual, because they think, well, the, the, the numbers are with the tool shed, they will decide who leaves. I can't rat them out. Then I won't have the numbers. So I just have to hope that they're actually loyal to me.
[00:56:28] And that it's like the people that she has all the information on are the only people that kind of tolerate her in the house. Like she hates the people that she could rat out to and they hate her. So a little bit of a problem. Yeah. Boy, but I need her to win the blockbuster so bad. Really do. How fun would that be? Haley wins the blockbuster. She'd be so high on her own supply. And then, and send Chuck out.
[00:56:58] I will say that because I'm with you. Uh, I, I agree. I think Haley staying is better. I've been on that train. Uh, however, there is one upside to Haley leaving, which is that a lot of people are now talking about like once Haley is gone, it's war. We can, we like, let's, let's take out the icons. Um, and, and to that end, Angela and D have already talked about, maybe we need to try
[00:57:24] to keep Haley because we need them to continue to go against Haley instead of against us. They're icons for a reason. Right. So I don't think it's the end of the world if Haley does leave this week, but obviously she is the better character here. Um, and, uh, and either way, I think we're getting some, like the icons are getting, getting a little more in the mix here. Yeah. It's hard.
[00:57:51] Cause I do want like the all out war of the house, but I like, as you said, like every person is like, Oh, well then like, why do we need to get rid of Chuck next? And it's like, Oh, I don't really need to let Chuck slide too far. He might stick around for a while if he's nearby too late. Yeah. That's my concern. When you have this kind of furniture on the block, you gotta get rid of them. Exactly. And I actually, it would be so disappointing if we go through all of this and Barrett somehow leaves. Right. That would not be ideal.
[00:58:20] Like all for nothing. It, it feels tough for that to happen, but it was this bad week to be on the block. Yeah. Yeah. I just see the icons coming up with reasons for both Haley and Chuck to stay by the end of the week. Uh, it, and it, yeah, it's dangerous territory with, especially with these powers and, you know, I could see D very easily.
[00:58:46] As soon as she smells any trouble throwing Devin's under the bus about his power. Um, so I don't know. I, it, it, it could get interesting as long as, I don't know. It could get interesting no matter what happens actually. Even if Barrett ended up going home. I'd love to circle back to D and Kamu and the work that D did to bring Kamu back into the fold.
[00:59:11] And, you know, I've just been so impressed with D just in her ability to lie that she really is just one of the best, uh, in terms of how she really brings her emotions into being able to sell somebody a story. Like she's really, really convincing and good at it. She just really like hits that like emotional cord with people and gives them like motives to like get them to feel like, okay, oh, it totally makes sense.
[00:59:41] You know, what you, what you did. And I just think that she's been, uh, I've been so impressed with her. She always feels very present emotionally in, in any given conversation. Um, which is something that like a lot of the players are really bad at. Even Devin's is, it can feel really detached at times.
[01:00:03] Uh, and, uh, obviously drew we've talked endlessly about, but when D talks to you, she is very present in that moment. And, and, and the thing that, that she says a lot of the time, and I posted a tweet about it because it was really funny where she says things like, oh my God, I'm shaking right now. Uh, and then the camera zoomed in on her steady ass hands. Um, but like she, she will, she will communicate to you like, oh, my heart is racing. Like, oh, I'm shaking.
[01:00:33] This is so, oh my God, this is such a good call. Like, uh, like bring you along the journey of her emotions. Uh, and so it's hard to feel like she's not, it's like, she's lying. Like she, like you, she's giving you the slideshow of how, how she's feeling. So, um, you, you feel bought into it. You feel like you're along, uh, you're, you're joining her in the ride. So, uh, it's good stuff. Yeah.
[01:00:59] Taryn, you were talking with Kirsten today about the, the wisdom of whether or not it was a good move to, uh, tell Kamu about the BB bribe and, uh, that the risks of Angela not knowing it. I think I have a solve for D and I don't know if this is allowed. D bribes Kamu not to reveal that she has the power for $5,000 and then he cannot tell
[01:01:29] anybody if he takes the bribe. That's fair. I like the idea. I would be concerned if it's allowed because the, I think the problem would be, how do you enforce it? If he tells anybody, that's it. You lost $5,000. That's not, that's not a bad punishment. Like if all I have to do is just not, I don't have to listen to it. And then all I do, all I lose is $5,000. It's like, if it's for my game, for my life in the game, I'm going to do it. Right.
[01:01:58] Like, I think they're probably going to try to stick to things that are enforceable. So like an eviction vote, you go in, you don't have a vote. It's made for you. Throw a competition. You like, even if you tried to win, then they just wouldn't let you win. And they'd be like, no, you were contractually obligated to throw this competition. So you can't win it. I think you can win, but you forfeit the $5,000 then. Yeah. I see. I, I mean, we don't know, but my assumption would be if you were, if you were supposed
[01:02:27] to throw a competition and you won it, uh, they would just be like, nope. Second place gets it. Like you don't, you don't get to win this competition. You took the bribe. Um, and then everyone in the house would know. Right. At that point you'd be exposed for having taken the bribe to, so like there's no incentive for you to win it because it would just be taken away from you and exposed anyway. Interesting. Yeah. I was like, read the fine print, get the whole book out. Yeah. They have not explained this in any way. That's just the, the, what I assumed.
[01:02:57] I just want her to actually use it so we can get these questions answered. Like how will this be used instead of it? Just, Hey, I had the power and I didn't have to use it. Yeah. I mean, I, I think the most interesting version of it is the one where it is like you are forced to do the action, uh, because that actually does add some teeth to this power where you can kind of like coerce somebody into signing a contract with you. That is like, I give you $5,000.
[01:03:28] You must do this thing this week or next week. Uh, I'm HOH. I'm not putting you on the block. I'm going to give you $5,000 in addition. And you are going to sign this contract that you don't put me up next week if you win. Um, and then they like have to follow it. If all, if all that happens is like, actually I've now decided I want to nominate you. I'm going to give back the 5k. Like then that's even weaker than before.
[01:03:53] So then what she could do is next week, if she feels like she's in danger, bribe Devin's to use the diamond power veto. But he doesn't have to do it. To benefit her. Right. Yeah. Yeah. They have to accept the bribe too. Yeah. I mean, I do like this idea that I like the, uh, the concept of bribing Kamu to not tell Angela. Uh, although. It's next level. I guess that would also, it would expose the fact that you don't trust him to not tell Angela. And it's like, no, but you're my friend.
[01:04:23] I want you to have $5,000. So I just have to do something stupid. It's just like, we just have to agree to some, we have to agree to any stupid thing. Like just so you can't tell anybody I gave you the $5,000. She could sell it. I like it. She could sell it to Kamu. Yeah. Um, and then, uh, my only other question is that where, where does Kamu leave off in terms of like, he's talking to Yash, she's talking to Taylor and Lala, but he's talking to Dee and Devin's like, what are his loyalties now?
[01:04:53] I think he is firmly in the middle between a trio of Taylor, Yash and Lala and the trio of the icons. Um, and he still has a, technically has a final two handyman relationship with Drew, but neither of them are loyal to it. Uh, and, um, and he's, he's basically burned Chuck and Haley completely by not using this veto. Uh, so he sits in the middle between these two people, uh, between these two trios.
[01:05:22] And if push came to shove, I do still think he would probably side on the Taylor Yash Lala end of it. Um, but there's plenty of time for push to come to shove. Yeah. Asia. I can't deal with if Chuck stays, he's such a know-it-all and not in a good way, not like in a fun Steven fishback way. I feel like he'll just be sitting there, nobody working with him and he'll be like, oh yeah, I know everything that's going on.
[01:05:49] Even it showed, like if even it was even in the episode of, I'm going to get to the bottom of this because, uh, cause people lied. So I got to figure out who lied. And it's just like, uh, he, I mean, he, if you even look at his social media, he acts that way in real life with the Dallas Katie trail. That's all he posts about going to the Dallas Katie trail, which is a popular running trail in Dallas. People love to use. Yeah.
[01:06:16] And he is always giving people advice, how to meet people and how to do all this stuff at the Dallas Katie trail. And he has brought that into the house and thinks he is just this master at playing big brother and doesn't even recognize that he is the one on the block. Like he can't even, he couldn't even entertain the conversation that he had with Lala about her saying, that's my strategy is to act like, I don't know what's going on. He's like, no, Lala, let me tell you, you got, I was actually going to put all this aside, all this nominating stuff aside.
[01:06:46] I was going to tell you anyway, you need to start playing. You need to start playing the game. And it's just like, is he, is it going to take him leaving for him to realize like, he's still going to be thinking he's going to get out of the house. He's going to be talking. I knew it. I knew it. You know, people just, they aren't playing the game in there. They don't know what they're doing. Asia. I already knew you were going to say all this about me. And honestly, now I'm coming after you. Yes. Yeah.
[01:07:13] Oh, he's going to have the worst BB comic also. Oh my God. Like, uh, I truly could not even begin to guess what it is because I don't know anything about Chuck. It's just going to be like Chuck Wagon. He's going to have like a hat on and be like on a stage coach. Truck pun or something. Yeah. Just like a big hat. Like, I truly could not tell you anything. Yeah, he's going to be like a cowboy. Yeah.
[01:07:43] Yeah. Yeah. It's exhausting. Truly. Like when people just like, at least because him and Yash were really hitting it off at the beginning because they are that same type of guy. Like, at least Yash has a personality. Like he has really started to shine. Yeah. And we get to see we can we we can be entertained by watching Yash. I can't tell you three qualities about Chuck.
[01:08:08] I don't know if Chuck could like, like, like, line dancing. I will. I will. I will give him some props. I think he performed very admirably up on that wall. He really hung in there. He was struggling for a very long time and he managed to milk every ounce of endurance he had on that wall. But I didn't like that either. I wanted him to fall immediately. It was just pissing me off. That is a perfect metaphor for his potential game, which is just that like he will be continuing
[01:08:38] to struggle through the entire season, but lasting. Last too long. Yeah. OK, Asia, anything else on your mind? BB-28. I think it's going to be really interesting just to see how how real this these like murmurings are of going after the icons, because we've seen this power ship, which we were really hoping for just to change things up a little bit. But is it going to sustain?
[01:09:06] Are we going to see, you know, D win HOH again next week and we're back to the beginnings of the game? Well, I think it's fair to say that the icons like set the tone for a lot of what's happening in the house. And Taryn, I do feel like that the way that today has been very, very quiet, I feel like that there is a real sentiment to not rock the boat before the veto nomination happened. Yeah, I think so, too.
[01:09:34] I think that I mean, Devin's in particular is really surprised that Kamu is willing to not use the veto and nobody wants to mess that up. They want to make sure the veto plan holds and then, you know, then maybe talk about keeping Haley. I don't know. That's like, yeah, the costume is kind of keeping like Mallory and Melody and Drew, like not having a lot of conversations. But at a certain point, I need to see the FAP Alliance take things into their own hands.
[01:10:07] Well, Melody and Mallory are out of the costume now, correct? I believe so. Okay, so they have a chance now, Scali. There we go. Okay, we will see. I would love for them to, you know, start handling their own business because I feel like there's stuff to be done. Yeah. Also, one more thing.
[01:10:32] I just like this HOH comp, I went to a camp of sorts in Mississippi this past weekend, French Camp Mississippi, where Hunter McKnight from Survivor 46, he puts on a game. He started it last year where nobody got pink eye. Hmm? Nobody got pink eye. No pink eye, thankfully. 100 adults playing this squid game meets Survivor game.
[01:10:59] And shout out to everyone who played because there were a lot of RHAP listeners out there. Nice. Yeah. So shout out to them because they're probably listening. But it was really fun. We had no pink eye. We had no- No Sasquatch? No Sasquatch. No Sasquatch being nauseous. So it was a pleasant experience. No slime. But yeah, shout out to all of them. Yeah. Sounds fun. All right, Scali, anything else on your mind? You know, I'm excited to see how the season continues.
[01:11:29] But anything that I want to jump to actually might have the opportunity tomorrow on the morning update. Oh, back-to-back Scali? Maybe, maybe. Okay. Maybe. All right. He won the power. That lets him go back-to-back. All right. All right. We've got a big RHAP con coming up here in a couple of weeks where we just put it together
[01:11:55] that we will be together for Big Brother episode number 1,000 coming up on the Thursday night of RHAP con. And then, okay, tomorrow night, the Stockwatch. It's going to be a wild week, Taren. Taren? Yeah.
[01:12:22] I mean, it's a big reset to the game, so I'm really curious to know how the ratings will go, what the rankings will be. There's all kinds of fun stuff to get into this week. Okay. Then, also, over on Patreon, we've got so much stuff coming at you all season long. Taren and I will get back together for the mailbag this week, and we might see some swings in the win percentages that we track week by week.
[01:12:48] And then, also, you can send in your questions, robb'swebsite.com slash bbmailbag. And then, we will be with one of the stars of Big Brother Unlocked, Chappelle, who was recently mentioned this past Friday night. You can catch him with me on the Slop this week, and we have a lot of fun Slop that we already have collected for this Tuesday night. Be there for that. Patrons only.
[01:13:15] Ethan Zahn joined us over on the Survivor feed to talk with Mike Bloom and I on the Survivor time trip, and we talked about the first swap in Survivor history, episode five of Survivor Africa with Ethan Zahn. And Asia, what's happening over on Married at First Sight? Man, it is such a good season. This is Married at First Sight's first time on Peacock, like, shot and edited for Peacock. Yes.
[01:13:41] And they made so many changes from the Lifetime product, and it has been so good. Married at First Sight season 20. Jason Reed and I are covering each week of episodes. There's going to be 20 episodes this season, so there's plenty more Married at First Sight to come. Y'all can go catch up. There is a husband on there who just admitted to his wife three weeks into their marriage that he misses sleeping with other women. Hmm. So, naturally, he decided to do Married at First Sight thinking that it would fix that. So, it's been entertaining.
[01:14:11] Definitely come check out that coverage. All right. Check that out. And then over on the, that we know the challenge, Allie and Brian are recapping Challenge Cutthroat. Scally, Challenge 42, correct? Challenge 42 indeed. Some big brother participants that are in the cast? Yes. Yes. Some big brother contestants like Riley is there. The good one. Not that one.
[01:14:42] Not that one. Keanu. Keanu. Yes, obviously. Very notably. Yep. So, okay. Check out what Allie and Brian have going on with the season premiere of the Challenge 42. Speaking of the challenge, Scally, what else is coming up for you?
[01:15:01] You know, outside of tomorrow's morning update, you can find me over on the Free Agents Podcast talking with Matt Liguori about this brand new season of the Challenge as well as the old school seasons of the Challenge. Still continuing the rewatch over there. So, check that out on the Free Agents Podcast. And then anywhere on social media at Brian underscore Scally. Okay. Great stuff, Scally. Asia, anything else that you've got going on? Yeah. I mean, well, everybody, you can follow me on all social media at Asia Like Asia.
[01:15:29] That's A-Y-S-H-A like A-S-I-A. In addition to Married at First Sight, which you can find our coverage on the We Know Dating Shows YouTube page and the Love at First Sight feed. I also have a lifestyle podcast with my girlfriend, Sarah. It's called Life By Us. It's Life B-I-S. We have a new episode dropping tonight, and we have a new episode every Sunday, so come check that out. Okay. Great catching up, Asia. By the way, we're Pepper and Cinnamon fans of the Paw Patrol. You know, they do favor Bluey.
[01:15:59] So, if it had been Bluey, they would have been all about it. We haven't really tapped into Paw Patrol, but now I might. I might be influenced. Okay. All right. And, Tyron, what's coming up for you? Live feed update tomorrow morning. We got the roundtable tomorrow night. Check out my Patreon for streams during the episode and during live feed moments like BBBBBFFFFF. And, uh, that's about it. My report card is up and down. Okay. All right. And then that's going to be the stock watch, I think.
[01:16:31] BBBBFFFFF. All right. And then thank you so much for joining us. It's going to be another fun week. Take care. Everybody have a good one. Bye.
