Also available on YouTube.

Big Brother 28 edges closer to finale night, and the tension is all about who studies hardest and plays smartest as the final three, Devens, Drew, and Taylor, face off for the last HoH. Taran Armstrong guides this solo live feed update, breaking down the strategy and confusion circling the final comps and jury votes.

Taylor is drilling all the dates and events, knowing the final HoH round will test what she’s memorized. Meanwhile, Drew completely misunderstands the format of part 3, thinking it’s still the old social test about jury statements. That misinformation spreads to Devens, keeping him from studying. This confusion might change who makes it to the end, as Devens’ efforts to convince Taylor she can’t beat Drew backfire badly. Plus, Drew openly talks to the cameras about his lucky streak and coin flip chances, while Taran Armstrong unpacks whose β€œbig move” counts for the final speechesβ€”all while making sure every jury vote gets scrutinized.

  • Taylor studies live feed events nonstop, betting the comp will be factual despite Drew and Devens’ mix-up, as Taran Armstrong notes.
  • Drew’s repeated confusion about the final HoH format keeps Devens from studying, creating a possible comp advantage for Taylor.
  • Devens’ pitch that Taylor has a better shot against him than Drew falls flat, with Taylor openly frustrated by his approach.
  • The jury votes are anyone’s guess, and Taran Armstrong analyzes the possible paths for both Drew and Taylor to secure enough support.
  • Drew’s talk to the cameras about coin flips and luck sums up his game, and maybe his odds.

Power in the Big Brother 28 house may shift on who’s doing their homework and who’s trusting the wrong info. Will Devens realize his mistake before it’s too late, and did Taylor or Drew pick the right target for the endgame? Listen in for all the final 3 breakdowns and get the next update on how it all plays out.

[00:00:11] Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA Single season, you know he is the reason You know that he could do it tomorrow

[00:00:41] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 27. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and I'm here to update you on everything that happened.

[00:00:55] Yesterday, the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 82 in the house and there was some stuff. There's some stuff to talk about here despite the slow trod to the end of this game. Devins makes his pitch to Taylor and confusion about part three continues to spiral out of control.

[00:01:24] And we're going to talk about it all here today. I am on my own to do so. So let's get into it. Quick and efficient today. Of course, as you know, our final three is Devins, Drew and Taylor. Taylor won part one of the final three HOH. Devins won part two of the final three HOH.

[00:01:47] They will be facing off against one another in part three for potentially all of the marbles. In Taylor's case, less certain, but at the very least a shot at all of the marbles. Devins currently plans to take Taylor. But on day 81, he talked about potentially wanting to pitch to Taylor and lie to her saying that he was willing to take her make some kind of deal.

[00:02:17] Taylor currently plans to take Drew as well because she thinks that cutting Devins is a huge move and that she has a better shot against Drew. We talked about how Devins actually has a case to make here that Taylor might have a better shot against him than Drew, even though that feels a bit weird to say and is likely not true. But we'll see if if he makes that pitch, right? Like there's the pitches there to make.

[00:02:46] And then the other thing that we've been watching that I've been watching, especially and I think has sort of grown in in sort of importance over the last few days as people other people are starting to notice this.

[00:02:57] The confusion from Drew about what part three of the final three is and that he has passed on to Devins and the complete difference in how much Taylor is studying for part three and how much Devins is absolutely not studying for part three whatsoever. So we're going to touch on all of that here.

[00:03:25] Drew and Devins start the day talking about start our day. You know, sometimes they start the day. I say start the day when I mean, you know, they start the important stuff from the day. There was quite a long morning with not much that I was super interested in. But Drew and Devins start the day talking about Devins taking him. Hey, I'm taking you. Don't worry.

[00:03:52] And Devins, they talk more through the season as well. This is like something that it does normally happen in the end game is you kind of talk about the season as a whole. And and like, you know, well, this wasn't a while that this happened. Plus, they do the like the recap of the recap, which sort of like makes them think about it even more.

[00:04:16] Devins admits in this conversation about how that one time that he pretended to hear Drew and Barrett, he admits, hey, didn't actually hear you. Didn't actually hear you. Drew thinks that's funny. Drew says that that week they were talking. Him and Barrett were talking about feeling like they weren't even in alliance because why was Mallory going up on the block? Why was he up on the block?

[00:04:45] And he really wants to find out what happened with D, Angela and Haley that caused all of that to happen, which is a reminder that Drew still thinks that Devins didn't really have anything to do with that. Or at the very least, like he brought it up to Devins a few days ago. He was like, oh, yeah. And then that thing happened. And you weren't really on board with that. Right. And Devins was like, no, no, I wasn't really on board with that.

[00:05:10] Because at the time, Devins had pretended to be pissed about it, too, which at the time Barrett and Drew had had pretty much bought fully hook, line and sinker, which then also was the reason why D wanted to potentially cut Devins when he was on the block a week later, because she felt like he had been able to play good cop too much and that Drew was too attached to him now.

[00:05:39] And then and then look where we are now. It's funny stuff. Drew talks to Taylor. And he asks her how she's feeling. How are you feeling? Got a big competition coming up. She says, well, you know, I've been I've been studying. I was studying a lot. And she has. She's been like drilling in her head. She's not always studying out loud.

[00:06:06] But yesterday she was a little bit in part because she was talking about it in part because she was talking to herself to the cameras. She is she is basically seemingly spending every waking minute drilling, studying, going over dates. Doing as much as she can. She says, the problem is I don't know what to study. So I'm studying everything. But man, Devins really knows his stuff. So like I've got tough competition.

[00:06:35] And Drew says, well, you know, it'll be a toss up. You know, it could go either way because Drew still thinks it's the other version of the competition. Just to reset this one more time. Drew thinks it's the old version of the competition. The one where you were asked about jury statements about personal statements. He describes it as a social competition. Taylor understands that it's a competition where you were asked about facts, facts that you can study.

[00:07:03] This was a change that Big Brother production made in Big Brother 20 and has been so ever since. Drew thinks it's the old way. Taylor knows it's the new way. Drew told Devins it's the old way. And so Devins now also thinks it's the old way and has not been studying at all. Whereas Taylor has been drilling. So she says, Devins really knows his stuff. Drew says, I don't be a toss up anyway. Anyway, she says, well, I mean, Drew, you could have been really good at the dates, too.

[00:07:33] Like you could have been really good at this competition. And he's like, ah! And then later, like another like 10 minutes go by. She talks again about how much she's been studying, how much she's been like focusing. And Drew just kind of lets it go. This is like the fourth or fifth conversation the two of them have had about this misunderstanding. Where Drew just talks right past her.

[00:08:03] She talks about it being an actual quiz. He talks about it being, you know, the jurors better. And she still doesn't understand that he doesn't understand. And he, I think, in this conversation just finally realized, because Taylor was explicit enough, that Taylor thinks the competition is something different than him. This is the first time he seems to have realized this. And we'll see the ramifications of that very shortly.

[00:08:33] Devins talks to Taylor. And he makes his pitch. And now this is the real thing, right? Devins needs to talk to Taylor about part three if he wants to find out the truth. Because, you know, or maybe Drew will, again, Drew has just realized that Taylor thinks the competition is different. Maybe Drew can do it. But, you know, ideally, Devins talks to Taylor and finds out from Taylor that she is studying dates and everything. Right?

[00:09:01] Like, she'd be like, no, no. And he can ask her, hey, Taylor, what do you think the part three is? Why do you think it's part, this is part three? And then he could start studying. Right? But instead, he focuses on his pitch, which obviously makes sense. And again, I think he has a good pitch here. A decent pitch, at the very least.

[00:09:24] The pitch is, you can't beat Drew because icons plus Melody will all vote for Drew. I know this because I'm an icon. And I've been, I had been secretly and not so secretly in lockstep with Dee and Angela all season long. I had a little, like, we love Drew fest with Dee right before she left where we both promised each other we would vote for Drew.

[00:09:53] I guarantee you, all three of us are voting for Drew. So if you can't get Melody, you can't beat him. Therefore, you have a better chance against me because you might be able to get Melody and Barrett and Yash and Lala and Drew and the icons will vote for me. But that's all I'll get. You have a better chance against me.

[00:10:21] Now, he doesn't quite make that pitch. That's the pitch I want him to make. He comes close to making that pitch. The pitch he gives is, listen, you have a better chance against me than Drew because you would have Lala and Yash. And against Drew, you'd have Lala and Yash. But Drew would have Barrett and Melody and me.

[00:10:50] And so that's three votes. And so you two would be fighting over Angela and Dee's votes. And I'm going to be there to be like, hey, what are you guys doing? You should vote for Drew. Even if they're not thinking about voting for Drew, I would be telling them to vote for Drew. And they should be predisposed to voting for Drew because he's been more active through the season.

[00:11:22] I think this was a big ball drop from Devin's. I think that there are two major factors he screwed up here with. Number one, presenting Angela and Dee as gettable votes at all to Taylor, I think is a mistake. I think that he should 1000% have presented this as they are already votes for Drew.

[00:11:49] I've talked to them about it explicitly. We've talked at length about it because when Barrett put us up, we were talking about how we wouldn't vote for Barrett, but we love Drew and would vote for Drew. And then all through the season, we've been saying it. And even as late as a couple of days ago, Dee and I talked about voting for Drew.

[00:12:10] Instead, he's proposing that they are the two gettable votes, which is quite unfortunate for him because those are the two votes that Taylor thinks she actually could get because she worked on both Angela and Dee before they left. Jury management and strategically. And so then he says the reason they would vote for Drew is because he was more active in the season. And that's true to some degree. That's a reason that Dee gave.

[00:12:41] But it's not a reason that Taylor like respects. Like, OK, they would vote because he's more active. I had a great relationship with them. They were constantly mad at him all the time. Like, like, I don't I don't like what do you mean? You're saying that I can get their votes, but you also think that they might vote this way. And then number three, the worst reason of all here. He says, I'm going to get them to vote for Drew. Excuse me, Devins.

[00:13:10] This pisses Taylor off and it should because you don't know this show, Devins. You're not going to have time to get them to vote for Drew. You're going to go off to that stage and sit down in your seat. You don't have time to to whisper in their ears to, like, you know, convince them over the course of a roundtable. You might be able to whisper in their ears, but that's all you'll be able to do. So this falls quite flat, right?

[00:13:39] He says against me, you could have Barrett and Malady, you know, on top of maybe like Yash and Lala. And so the pitch falls very flat. Let me tell you, very flat. Taylor's response to this whole proposition is, yeah, I don't know. And he's like, okay.

[00:14:13] And she goes, oh, so is that why you're not going to take me, Devins? Because you think I have a better chance of beating you than Drew? And he goes, no, no, no, no. That's more out of just like loyalty to Drew. But I do think I have a better shot against Drew. And the conversation just fizzles. It just fizzles from there. And so he leaves the conversation. She says to the cameras, Drew.

[00:14:41] Drew's only more active in the first half of the game because he was riding the icons coattails. He didn't play his own game. He played y'all's game. And Devins is trying to say he's going to flip Angela and D. He won't have time if he's evicted. Just threaten me. He's going to flip the votes. I don't respond well to threats. Don't give me that, Devins. And now she just like doesn't she doesn't even want to talk to him. Like, like, don't even don't even come at me with with another pitch here.

[00:15:10] Like, like she doesn't even want anything to do with with Devins right now. I mean, the pitch could not have gone worse. I genuinely I can't imagine a scenario where it had gone worse. So Devins goes back to to Drew. He tells Drew that he pitched to Taylor that it did not seem to go particularly well. Um, and the night progresses, right?

[00:15:39] The day progresses into night. And, uh, and Devins is talking to Drew and he's talking about part three again. He this time Devins just he kind of jokes. He's like, what if part three is ropes? Because they were they were anticipating ropes all season. They never got it. What if part three was ropes? And and this reminds Drew of his conversation with Taylor. And he goes, oh. I've been meaning to tell you.

[00:16:07] Taylor is confused about what part three is. But I'm not going to correct her. And, uh. This is just it's so embarrassing.

[00:16:33] It's really like, uh, it's it's really like guy sitting in the corner thinking Taylor doesn't know the real part three. And he's wrong. Devins says, oh, I haven't talked to Taylor about part three. What does she think it is? And Drew says, get this.

[00:17:00] She thinks it's going to be all about the dates. So she's been like studying and stuff. And Devins goes, oh, well, that would be trouble if that were true. And Drew's like, well, it's not. So don't worry. Devins is like, well, I mean, that would be a big surprise.

[00:17:30] And you can tell you can tell Devins is a little bit concerned about this. Like, why does Taylor think it's something completely separate that she is prepping for? And he is under the assumption that it's not. Um. Um. And, uh, and Drew's just like, I would say probably just let her continue to think that. Devins is like, I mean, yeah, certainly fine by me, I guess. I mean, what is she even studying? Drew's like, I don't know. It's like.

[00:18:01] I mean, we've already had so many challenges on the day. We had like the Zingba thing. We had like so many challenges you've already done based on dates. It would be so annoying. It'd be really frustrating if they did another one. Tell me about it, Devins. Drew says it's not. It's not. It's been the same thing for 27 seasons. Not going to change it now. Um.

[00:18:28] And let me tell you, at this point, I have, I just. I personally have no room for the theory that Drew is doing this on purpose. I just, I don't think there's almost any chance. That he is intentionally. He for sure told the cameras that one of the reasons he kept Devins was because of this misunderstanding about what part three is. He had many conversations with Taylor where he, they clearly talked right past each other. Um.

[00:18:57] Then he had this other conversation with Taylor, uh, where he clearly then realized that, oh, I'm actually now for the first time realizing that there's a disconnect here. He immediately told Devins about it, which got Devins worried about what the competition is. Uh. And, um, and so now Devins is clearly a bit worried. Right. Um.

[00:19:25] In the meantime, Taylor talks to, to Devins goes to the diary room. And Taylor talks to Drew about Devins' pitch and how it's not going to work. She's taking Drew. Um. Um. And then Devins comes out of the diary room. Takes like a shower. Comes out in the backyard. Uh. And he goes, Drew, do you remember specifically what part three was? And Drew's like, yeah, it's this, it's the same one. It's the same one.

[00:19:56] And, and Devins says, I was told that it's different sometimes. By who? Excuse me? There's only two other people in there. So, who told him this? Um.

[00:20:26] My theory is, my theory is, this is my theory. I believe, because this sequence of events happens along these lines, Drew told Devins, Taylor doesn't understand what part three is. Devins is like, well, that's concerning. Devins goes to the diary room.

[00:20:48] He asks in the diary room, what is, like, is part three always the same? Or he asks some kind of question in the diary room about part three. And apparently, whoever was in the diary room told him, it's not always the same. That it's different sometimes. Or that it, like, that is the impression that he got

[00:21:18] from whatever question he asked in the diary room. Um. Which is kind of wild, right? Like, I mean, it feels like the answer to the question about part three should be, we can't tell you anything about an upcoming competition. No? Um.

[00:21:46] So, him coming out and being like, I was told it's different sometimes. I mean, I guess the, the, the best possible interpretation of this is that they did say, I can't, we can't say anything. And that Devins is like fishing. From Drew, like, uh, like, well, I was told it's different sometimes. Drew, tell me the truth. But that's not the vibe I got. It's not.

[00:22:18] Um. Um. Now, that said. Uh, cause I did see, uh, some people talking about this. Um. What he did get from the diary room is not the actual format of part three. In any sense. Um. And, and that will be, that will be clear through this conversation. So I'll finish the conversation. We'll talk a little bit more about it. Uh. He says, I was told it's different sometimes.

[00:22:48] Um. And he asks, what was it last season, Drew? He asked for like specific examples of questions. Like, what was Keanu's question? Um. And Drew's like, I can't remember. Cause it's all so like specific. Um. But, you know, I always think about like, what was your favorite part of the season? Which is so funny. Cause that's the part that I, I always remember too. Um. And he's like, but, but like the whole point Devins is that part one is physical. Part two is like mental with puzzles.

[00:23:17] And part three is social. And I was like. Yeah, that's old school, big brother. That just, that just brought back some warm fuzzies of like what old school, big brother used to be. That was the original intent, right? Like. Uh. I miss it. Not anymore. No. Now it's physical, physical quiz. Um. But that's, that's what Drew still is under the assumption it is.

[00:23:48] Uh. And Devin says, man, it's just so stressful. To know that I have a competition coming up. It's so important. And I have no idea how to prepare for it. And Drew is like, dude, it's always the same thing. It's not something you need to do that you even can prepare for. Uh. So. Devin's does not come out of this conversation or his diary room session with the

[00:24:14] knowledge of what the competition is or the knowledge that he should be studying for it. So, uh, so whatever answer he got in there, uh, has not helped him yet. Um. But, uh. But it, it definitely, you know, feels very strange. Like, uh. You know, getting any amount of information about an upcoming competition, uh, feels

[00:24:42] very, uh, uh, like. Like, not in the wheelhouse of what should be happening in Big Brother. That's not something that is typically, uh, you know, I would say granted by any means. Um. So, uh. So again, I don't know exactly what went down here, but like, it does not feel good. I'll tell you that. Does not feel good. Um.

[00:25:11] But, again, bottom line in terms of knowing where things stand, as of right now, Devins is still not studying. He is still not studying. He still does not know that he needs to study. Uh. He just, I would assume, is a little concerned about what the competition is. Uh. But, uh, but he has, he does not know that, uh, that he needs to be studying. Yet. Um. He, uh. Uh. He might be, um.

[00:25:41] You know, talking about, uh. Like. Like, he might be like, he might go to ask more about, like, what's happening. Um. And yeah, there is, uh. You know, somebody just asked in the chat, like, is there a, is there a chance that he was referring to Taylor in this conversation? There's a, there's a chance. Right, right. Like, it's, it's theoretically possible. Uh. That he's referring to a conversation with Taylor when he says that somebody.

[00:26:11] No, sorry. He said that he was told that it was different sometimes. Um. Again, that's not the vibe I got. Uh. I didn't see him have a conversation with Taylor in the time between he had talked in his talk with Drew. Uh. Uh. And then his come, come back to talk to Drew conversation. Uh. Feels like we would have seen that conversation and it feels like he would have worded the statement a little bit differently.

[00:26:38] Likely if it had been Taylor that had been the one that say it, that said it, especially because, um. Drew had already told Devin's that Taylor misunderstood what the competition was. So it'd be weird for Devin's to then be like, well, Taylor told me the competition was different without, without even referencing that it was Taylor or that they had talked about it being a misunderstanding from Taylor. And, and Drew. So, you know, I say theoretically, but I am, uh, you know, as I talk it through, it's like, it's really, it really feels.

[00:27:10] Extremely unlikely that he was referring to Taylor. Um. Anyway. Again, bottom line is Devin's does still is not studying. And in the meantime, Taylor very much is. Uh, and this could be, could be. Uh, a huge, hugely important thing for part three and for the entire season.

[00:27:41] Um, so, uh, so that's about the day. Drew does talk to the cameras, uh, at night. He says that, uh, and this is, again, this is perfect for Drew. He says he hopes his chances to win are 50, 50. Cause they could be zero, but he hopes his chances are 50, 50. He either wins or he doesn't flip a coin and hopefully it lands his way.

[00:28:07] And it's just like, it's pretty thematic. Like you, you can't, you can't deny how thematic this has been with Drew and the coin since the very like beginning of this game. When people thought he had the coin, he kept referencing coin flips. It felt like he needed the coin in order to survive, but then he survived anyway.

[00:28:33] And then throughout the season, he keeps talking about rather being lucky than good and getting lucky at one point in a do or die situation, literally or figuratively flipping a coin between two blockbuster options. And now he's here in the final three where he's saying, I got to flip a coin. If Taylor wins, she takes me. I might win. And if Devin's wins, he takes me. I might lose.

[00:29:03] And, you know, I like stuff like this. I like turning, I like turning seasons of big brother into stories. I could see a chapter being written on the coin flipping of things. No, probably not. I mean, it's, it's just, it's just, it's just funny. He does though. There's one other thing here. He talks about how his biggest move in his mind was taking out D to guarantee himself a spot in final two, which I think is not something to brag about personally.

[00:29:33] But then I thought about it and I was like, okay, well, what is his real biggest move? Well, there was the winning of the blockbuster. There was the winning of the blockbuster. It's probably talking Yash into giving him the veto, which was also a survival move. Um, and then when I think about like the influence he's had, it was like, well, he convinced Kamu to backdoor Jason.

[00:30:05] At which point I'm like, you know what? If he gets asked, what's your biggest move? Maybe, maybe this, maybe this is the right answer after all. Um, I think I would probably say talking Yash into giving me the veto. Um, and then, and then I might say, uh, you know, guaranteeing myself final two as a secondary thing.

[00:30:34] Um, but, uh, but we'll see, maybe he won't be asked the question, you know? Uh, it's certainly not something I think I would volunteer in a speech because, you know, big moves are hugely in favor of, uh, well, I guess the thing is that he knows that Devins might ask the question of Taylor because Taylor's answer is even worse, right? Uh, if she says I flipped the lyric vote, that's much worse. Um, and if Taylor doesn't say she flipped the lyric vote, what else does she have?

[00:31:04] Um, and, uh, and her answer, her other, her secondary answer to Devins was Ike when I kept D, which is also like not something I would brag about. Uh, and so, um, then you're like, so what other big moves while she won the final four HOH that helped take out one of the or Devins? Uh, but you know, that's also just winning a competition.

[00:31:30] Um, and so then it's like, well, she helped influence Lala to take out Chuck. Um, I think this question in general is just not favorable for either true or Taylor because in comparison, Devins has like so many survivor big moves, you know, uh, when he, you know, made the move on Rome, he took out Camu.

[00:31:56] Um, he convinced, uh, D to take out Mallory. You could argue he did cause he's the one that brought it up, uh, and pushed for it. Um, and he got drew to keep him at the final four, uh, and all this stuff. Right. Um, so, uh, you know, it's, it's not something that's going to work out for either of them against Devins, but against each other, I think that like, you could argue that like big

[00:32:25] moves wise, uh, you know, neither of them has a super strong resume potentially. Uh, but it all, again, depends on how the jury views things either way. That's about what we have from yesterday. Any questions in the chat before we wrap up? We'll start to wrap up quite soon. Was Devins always on the right side of the vote is a question.

[00:32:50] Uh, and if I think about it, I believe, I believe he was right. I can't remember a time where Devins was blindsided by a vote. Um, yeah, I mean, he, he was, but like only technically because he was not on the right side of the, uh, he was not on the right side of the vote.

[00:33:18] Um, when he was on the block about to be voted out like three separate times, but he won each time. And then after winning became like got to the right side of the vote, if that makes sense. So yeah, technically yes, but, uh, uh, but not in a way that shows strategic dominance in a way that shows more competitive dominance for the most part, I would say. But, and then, uh, this is something similar with drew, but drew was also on the wrong side of,

[00:33:47] uh, of at least the, the, the Angela vote. And then Taylor obviously was on the wrong side of a couple of votes. Um, so that's again, like a bit of a wash, I think for drew and Taylor, uh, most part, I think Taylor was probably on in on fewer votes than drew, but, uh, but she also didn't have to win as many, like the, the, again, drew had to win competitions to be not evicted, which obviously

[00:34:11] would have been votes that he wasn't in on also. Um, all right. Anything else? Uh, why wouldn't devin study just in case laziness? Uh, the laziness was part of the question. Um, why wouldn't he study just in case? Good question. That, I mean, that's the thing. If drew told me that Taylor

[00:34:35] assumes it's a competition about dates that, that she's studying for, I would just study just in case. What else do you have to do other than talk to drew? Right. Um, and, and then if you are told in the diary, the competition is sometimes different than study, like why not? Uh, just, you know,

[00:35:01] I really, I don't know what the reason to not do it is other than just not feeling like doing it. Um, who do I think wins between drew and Taylor at this point? It's again, it's just so hard to say. I I've gone over the jury votes so many different times. I think that there are so many different ways the jury can move and think. Uh, and I feel like I've, I've made the strongest case for a Taylor win that I can. I've made the strongest case for a drew when that I can, um, if I had to flip a

[00:35:30] coin, I would say, I still think drew has the best shot, uh, with the icons plus melody, but, uh, you know, it's, it's not, it's just not guaranteed by any means in my opinion. Um, do we know if the jury round table was filmed? I don't know if it has been filmed yet. I don't remember when they, I think they would have typically have filmed the jury round table by now

[00:35:57] in a normal, uh, final three schedule. So I would assume it has been, but they might be extending the film. They might be extending the schedule, uh, for the round table longer, just because the game itself has been extended longer. Who knows? Um, although that theoretically could mean that like, cause if they weren't going to film the round table shortly after the final

[00:36:23] four eviction, then theoretically you could just send me to the actual jury house. Uh, but I guess that ruins their whole, like at the round table, somebody walks in. So I think they will just film it at the normal time, which means they probably have potentially or no. Cause wouldn't we have known who the jury round table post was by now? I don't know. The answer is, I don't know. Um, let's see here. Drew was a big reason melody and Mallory didn't flip

[00:36:53] on to evict Kamu. That's actually a good point. That's actually a great point. Um, I think that it would, it would, it's hard to claim this move because there's nobody in the game that will like care much about it. Uh, in fact, like, you know, on Yash and Lala's end, uh, like, like really who cares? And on Barrett's end, it's like, I don't know if Barrett will agree,

[00:37:18] but like that is probably Drew's actual best move. That wasn't just survival and it, and, and was influenced is that drew I think was a huge part in getting Kamu targeted, getting Yash to make incorrect nominations or at least preventing Yash from changing his mind about

[00:37:39] incorrect nominations, helping prevent Yash. Uh, and, uh, and then keeping very much so keeping Mallory and Malady on board to evict Kamu, uh, which actually was a huge turning point of the season. So I very much agree, uh, with that point. I think that is probably, um, what you could argue is, is his, his most influential and biggest like quote unquote move that he did strategically rather than

[00:38:05] just winning comps. Um, am I seeing the jet lag finale in theaters? I wish, how do they even study? It's really just going over dates. So like, and this is, this is the question that Devin's asked, right? How would I even start? How is she even studying? What do you, it's not like she has notes to study, but it's less about that and more about transferring the knowledge in your head from

[00:38:34] memory, uh, of like, of like, oh, this, uh, not, no, sorry, not from memory. Transferring the knowledge in your head from, uh, something you can figure out and access to something that is memorized, right? Um, or, or at least at the very least is some, something that like is, uh, you have like a quicker

[00:39:02] pathway to. So as an example, um, you could, the question could be asked like, what was the day that, uh, melody played in her third blockbuster? And you can figure that out just intuiting, right? Like you could do, you could count well on week one, we started here. It was day seven that

[00:39:27] we did this. And so, uh, every eviction fell on a day, whatever. Uh, and so then seven days from that was the next eviction. Uh, and seven days from that is next eviction. And melody played in this blockbuster, this blockbuster, I'm aiming for this, this third blockbuster, the time that she played in their third one. Uh, and then, you know, uh, doing the math to get to the right day versus like,

[00:39:53] now I've done all that math and I know, well, roughly halfway, uh, you know, let's say, let's call it like D's second HOH was day. And I haven't done this studying myself because I'm busy watching these fools. Uh, but, uh, let's say D's HOH eviction day, uh, where, um, where Mallory went home.

[00:40:17] Let's call that day, you know, 47. Uh, now I know that as an anchor point for future, like I can quit more quickly go up to, uh, you know, the second half of the game or more quickly go down to the first half of the game from that point. Um, I can say that, uh, I can start to memorize that like, uh, nomination ceremonies always fell on, uh, these days outside of very specific ones,

[00:40:45] like the final, you know, final four, final five, like sometimes those were on different days. Um, and then also double evictions, making sure I'm remembering that like double evictions fall on the same day as the previous one and memorizing those, because those are little hangups that if you're trying to mathematically figure it out, you might get tripped up on it. But if you do the, you do the remembering and you do the memorizing, then those things are less likely to get you caught

[00:41:12] up, um, or get caught on. So long story short, that is the purpose. I, the largest purpose of studying is, is to just sort of like get past all of those little mental hurdles that get in your way when you're asked a complicated question and you need to come up with an answer within, you know, 20 seconds. Uh, you can just more, much more quickly find those answers, uh, and, and give them,

[00:41:38] um, without getting tripped up. Uh, all right. One more question. What else? Um, who, uh, I already answered that question. Do I think Devins' pitch impacts Taylor voting for him? Um, it could. Yeah, it could. I don't think it matters if Devins takes Drew. Um,

[00:42:08] I guess a third vote from, or not a third vote. If Devins takes Drew, let's say Drew still gets Melody. Let's say Drew manages to get Barrett. He could get Taylor if she's like annoyed with Devins. Um, Drew would still need to pick up either Yash or Lala, you know? I mean, you know what?

[00:42:35] The point here is that Drew should be doing as much jury management on Taylor as possible. If Drew, if Drew could pick up Taylor as a vote, that would be huge. Now, Taylor obviously respects Devins' game a lot more. She's pissed at him right now for the pitch, but like, uh, that doesn't necessarily impact her vote. Um, but there's an opening there, you know, like if Drew can, the problem I guess is that if Drew manages to convince Taylor that he's a better player than Devins, uh, and deserves the vote

[00:43:03] more than Devins, then that impacts Taylor's willingness to bring Drew to the final two. So I guess you do have to be a little careful there. Um, but what he could potentially do is set up some of the arguments that he will be making when he makes his final two speech to potentially change Taylor's mind in the moment, right? Like there are things you can do to set yourself up either way. Uh, that's about what I've got for you today. Um, it's, uh, it's,

[00:43:29] it's been, it's been a fun update. We've been going over some fun things. Uh, I will be back tomorrow at noon Eastern for, uh, for tomorrow's update tonight. There is an episode. I think it's at a, at a wonky time. It's the recap of the recap. Um, so, you know, stay tuned. There will be a podcast afterward. I'm sure it will be absolute chaos. Uh, so stay tuned for that tomorrow, uh, update.

[00:43:56] And then we also have the final round table tomorrow night. So stay tuned for that as well. Um, and then it's all to play for on Thursday. I'll be streaming, uh, live Patreon, Twitch and YouTube during the finale. And then we will talk through it all afterward. Um, I'm very excited. If you have not checked out my Patreon, please do so. We're about to end the season. You're about

[00:44:22] to never hear from me again for another eight months, unless you want to sign up for my Patreon, check out my off season content where I'm streaming survivor and the traders and jet lag and devil's plan and all kinds of fun shows. I'm going to probably check out this Willy Wonka show. Um, and on top of that, uh, there is also big brother stuff I'm doing in the off season. Uh, I've always wanted to go back and properly like see what it's like. What was it like to watch an old season of big

[00:44:51] brother back in those warm, fuzzy days when they did quiz people on physical, mental and social. Uh, and I figured the, the, the best thing I can do, the closest thing to, to experiencing an old season of big brother in real time, uh, like it was when people watched at the time with live feeds is to watch episodes of big brother two on my Patreon on the days that they aired of the week.

[00:45:18] So the premiere on Thursday, the next episode on like a Saturday, uh, and then like a Tuesday, because those were the days that they aired at the time, um, on as well as daily live feed updates from the archives of big brother to live feeds so that you have an actual sense of what was happening at the time. Watch it with a big group of people like the seasons airing in real time should be a lot

[00:45:44] of fun. I'm really excited about it. So check that out on my Patreon, uh, in the off season, we'll be starting up shortly after this season ends. Uh, so, uh, come and hang out, stick around with me. Uh, I'd really, really appreciate it. Uh, anyway, that is what I have for you today. Thank you all so much for being here and I will see all of you next time.
