BB28 Sunday Live Feed Update September 20, 2026 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 is entering its final stretch, and the tension comes down to who will survive to the finale as alliances shift and comp threats rise to the top. Taran Armstrong brings a detailed Recap of Day 75 in the house, joined […]

[00:00:11] [SPEAKER_01] Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA. Every single season, you know he is the reason. You know that he could do it. Tomorrow he will do it again.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 20th. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 75 in the house and we had a veto competition.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_00] We have a veto winner. We have what is likely now a locked in eviction candidate for the final five and some plans for the future for the final four final three. We'll have to see as we talk through all of them and with me to talk through all of them is Kirsten. How you doing, Kirsten?

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_03] I'm great, Taren. It's a Sunday during Big Brother. I'm here with you. I'm home. And, you know, we're in the homestretch.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00] We are. We are in the homestretch here. Less than two weeks away now. Far less than two weeks now that we're on a Sunday. We do have an episode tonight. And then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Friday? I think Friday. And then Sunday. And then and then I think we're almost like that's basically it, I think. So.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_03] Well, because I think the finale is on a Wednesday or Thursday.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00] The finale's on Thursday. But I think it might skip from Sunday to Thursday, although there might be like a recap of the recap in between.

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Wait, there's none on Wednesday this week, is there? Because of Survivor or not?

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_00] Oh, there is. Oh, my God. Yeah. Listen. OK, our Super Bowl. Let's do this. I'm unfortunately well aware of the fact that it's going to be two hour Survivor premiere followed by an episode followed by a podcast that I will, in fact, be hosting.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_03] So make sure you all tune into that. It's after Survivor? Yeah. I feel like normally they do that the other way around. What that is, honestly, it feels personal. I feel attacked. That's horrible. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_00] It's. Anyway, we're here to update you on the feeds yesterday. Of course, as you likely know, Devins is the H.O.H. He won the final five H.O.H. It was tiny H.O.H. We're going to see that on the episode tonight. He then nominated Drew and Melody for eviction after what was an enormous amount of begging to not be nominated from Drew.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_00] This, of course, was really the only strategy here. If you don't nominate Drew, he's too likely to win the final five veto, at which point he could use it on Melody, force D on the block and take D out if he so desired. And so Drew went on the block up against Melody. And that's about how we started the day. Of course, we have a veto competition that they're going to play.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_00] But but the other sort of interesting thing happening this week beyond just this week's vote is. What do people plan to do in the future? Both D and Devins have spoken to the cameras now saying that they both plan to take each other all the way to final three. But perhaps not all the way to final two.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00] And that also means that they have perhaps slightly different preferences on who stays in the game to final four, final three and who doesn't. Devins might prefer Drew thinking that Drew will take him over D.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_00] D prefers Melody, thinking Melody will take her over Devins or at the very least just once Drew out because Taylor could serve that purpose as well in the worst case scenario. And so D and Devins do talk in the morning. And now D had been saying it's I'm fine to take out Melody this week, even to the cameras the night before.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_00] However, I think myself and many other people suspected that she would likely change her mind. The only problem was like, will she change her mind in time or will she get to work in time? Given this is a sped up eviction. She's already getting to work a little bit here talking about how well, what about if Melody wins the veto? What if Melody comes off the block? Surely we would need to take out Drew then, right? We wouldn't keep we wouldn't keep Drew and Melody in the game at the same time. And and Devins is like, yeah, of course.

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, we would definitely keep keep Taylor over Drew in that in that instance. She's like, OK, good, good.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_03] But yeah, you know, you just you have to get in there with just the concept of it, even if it's not something that's likely to happen or even if you don't think that you actually can change Devin's mind. Like you got to plant that initial seed if you ever want to have the opportunity to to see it grow into a beautiful flower.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Yeah. So what's interesting, too, about that is that, like, you know, whether or not there's like an actual full on plan here for D is is, you know, maybe we'll we'll see. She talks to the cameras later about what she might have been thinking in this conversation. But but we'll get there. The does talk to Melody and says she wants her around. She says that if she wins the veto, she will use it on Melody.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00] Which if true, and again, maybe a little bit of a camera talk later implies that it might have been. Then Melody goes into this veto competition with what could be as many as three of the five people competing, all willing to play it on her, including herself, D and perhaps Taylor, who like absolutely should if she has the option. Yeah. Yeah. Which is is not bad odds under regular circumstance, right?

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00] Three out of five people all willing to play it on you. It's pretty good.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_03] You know, in a vacuum, that's great. The odds are phenomenal. But unfortunately, you then have to look at who has been winning vetoes and then it kind of adjusts the odds a bit.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00] Well, I think you also have to look at height and weight of the people who are willing to use it on Melody.

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, because some of these competitions, you've got to be maneuvering extremely heavy objects. That's, you know, just it adds to the TV show to make people lift heavy things, obviously.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00] Very much so. Now, for what it's worth, D also tells Drew that she's going to take him off the block if she wins the veto. But again, later she has a camera talk implying that she did have a specific actual truth here, which was perhaps the Melody option. We do get to the veto competition, which we are already heavily alluding to.

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_00] And it is the lasers, the laser competition, the one where you have to drag. Because like, listen, the laser competition has been historically in the Big Brother house for a long time. Historically, they've always they've done these laser competitions since like at least like what before.

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00] Before, like they they they go they go back. However, and and I think like this is such a great example of like the nonsense that we talk about with these competitions sometimes. But it's like this laser competition has been historically such a big part of the show.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_00] So I but recently they've decided instead of just, you know, doing the thing that all laser movies, movies that have laser sequences do, which is like you have to, you know, maneuver around the lasers in a cool way. Instead of that, they're going to take like six foot five, like 200 pound. It's not really 200 pounds, I'm sure.

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_00] But however heavy it was, Drew said it was.

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_00] Like dummy and drag it through the lasers.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. And it was it was it was a mummy, right? To tie into the, you know, Pharaoh's curse of the week, I guess. In addition to stealing treasure, they're also stealing the mummy. I don't know. And yeah, because why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't you just make them drag something incredibly heavy?

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_03] And I mean, why why would they make more than one that was perhaps tailored to the size of the people competing and making it actually equitable? It's just why would they do that?

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00] It's just so stupid. It's just like it's it's a completely unnecessary addition to a competition. I that does not make it more interesting to watch in the slightest and just completely is just like it's not even like a skill check on. It's just it's just straight up. Oh, are you big and heavy enough to do this? Oh, no.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_00] Sorry for you.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_03] The thing is, I do have and I'm not saying that this is that this competition is is OK or like equitable in any way. I want to be very clear. I do have a lot of faith in like. A small woman to be surprisingly able to like lift or move something heavier than they should be able to. Like we've we've all been rearranging our bedrooms from a young age and moving things we should not have been able to move, you know.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_03] But then when the lasers come in, it kind of makes that a little bit more difficult to be doing when you are small and moving something that's so big and heavy that you in theory shouldn't even be able to move. So. It's just really frustrating. I think the only like funny or entertaining thing we're going to see is like it sounds like Taylor was like beating up the mummy on the ground, giving it some kicks and stuff like that'll be.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03] It's a really fun TV, but like it just didn't have to be like that. They literally could have just made a big mummy for the the taller people and then a smaller version of it for the three smaller people to do because having just one size and it's set to the biggest and strongest of people.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_03] Like it just means, OK, well, you you knew who you wanted to win the veto is how it feels, even if that's not the intention behind it.

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, yeah, it's it's pretty. So it's right away. You're you you probably know if you're if you're listening or watching at home or wherever it is that you're watching or listening. OK, so D, Taylor, Melody, the three people that would have used the veto potentially on Melody. None of them are winning this competition. It's down to Devins or Drew.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00] And I bet you probably even know which of Devins or Drew are going to win this thing given size and weight. Right. Like Drew has what like like five inches on Devins and is like half his age. So.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, and we've seen Devins form when he's weightlifting. I feel like there wasn't enough time in the season to train up to be strong enough for this specific challenge.

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Drew is going to come away the winner of this competition. I believe it was not not very close here.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_03] It it doesn't sound like it at all. It sounds like Drew put on a very dominant performance, which now.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00] Now, to be fair, right, like not to not to production, but to to the players themselves. This is exactly why. Drew took out Yash. Right. Like Yash. Yash could have competed against Drew in this competition. There's still probably at least one more competition at the final four that will also be really physical. There tends to be.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00] And Drew has a really great shot at winning that one at the final four because Yash isn't there anymore. And so this is why you try your best to take out the super big comp threats as often as possible until you are the super big comp threat at the right time.

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, absolutely. And honestly, like I've seen a lot of capital D discourse about the double eviction and was it the right thing to do and blah, blah, blah. For the for Melody and for Drew, I do think that that was the best option. And I know, oh, no, Melody should put Drew up and then Drew gets voted up. She she doesn't want him to go.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03] So she nominated people that were strong and against her and that she was fine with seeing leave the house, which is all you can do. It's just unfortunate that Melody has lost week after week after week. And so she's still in a shit position, but she was already in a bad position.

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. So Drew is now the holder of the veto and it is now time for, you know, some discussion. What is going to end? And by the way, like we're not just speculating on the the fairness of the veto of the veto competition. Drew himself is like that was bullshit. Yeah, that was not fair at all.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00] It was stupidly large and heavy. Melody was like, yeah, I that was the dumbest thing I've ever done. Granted, she says that about like every other thing she does. But, you know, still. So I so Devin says to Drew after he wins, like, hey. Aren't you aren't you glad you don't have to not use this veto on Melody when you're not sitting on the block?

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00] Like, wouldn't that have been a tough position to be in if you were not nominated and you won this thing? And then Melody's, you know, all up in your business being like, hey, why aren't you using it on me?

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_03] Do you, Kate, do you really think that had Drew not been nominated, he would have not used this veto on Melody?

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_00] I think he would have. Probably.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. It's not 100 percent, which is an indictment of Drew's actions in the House so far. But I feel inclined to agree that he would have.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_00] And honestly, like my main source of hesitation is a conversation he has later tonight on the day we're talking about, which was like, well, Drew, what are you? But but I do think he probably would have. I think I talked about this yesterday. I think he probably would have and then still potentially voted out Taylor over D. I don't even know that he would have voted D out, but he might have saved Melody.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, that's the that's the other indictment of this game.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_00] D asks if Drew is OK with Melody leaving. He says he is. He says he is. Devon talks to D and she's like kind of joking, like you're not putting me up, right? And he kind of jokingly responds like, well, are we still locked into our final two or no? And she's kind of like, oh, of course, of course.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00] Like they kind of do this jokey back and forth, which then kind of turns which they don't do, by the way. This is not something that they've really done before, which tells me that there's something actually going on. And Devon turns it into like, well, honestly, like I don't have it in me. Like I like maybe even if I wanted to. I don't have it in me, though. I couldn't do it. And hey, we might need to save each other next week with Vito.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_00] We just need to you know what? We need to get to final three and then final two.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, it's so interesting. And I think that Jacob made a really good point yesterday when he was talking about how, well, now we've moved into the accelerated timeline and the survivors might feel like even more at home with that. And so I could see that having a bit of an impact on this communication shift between Devon's and D. Like, like I guess the thing is, if if D was H.O.H. And in this situation and drew on the veto.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_03] I think D is far more incentivized to cut Devon's at this point than Devon's is to cut D. Like, I think Devon's can say, no, I don't have it in me. I can keep you safe. Like, it's like I think he'll be fine anyway, because I think that he's getting a lot of credit for things that D has done. With the people in the jury house, like for me watching.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_03] I give a lot more credit to D strategically than I would to Devon's, but I don't think that the jury would feel the same way. And so I think D is far more incentivized to cut Devon's and Devon is is to cut D. And so like Devon's can kind of have his cake and eat it, too, by just continuing to be loyal and he'll probably be fine.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00] Yes. Yes. And Devon's is a bigger target. And he, I think, very much needs D doesn't necessarily need D, but very much could use D in the final four as an extra layer of protection. If D wins the final four veto, she does not plan to cut him at the final four. She does plan to cut him at the final three. But the thing, the other thing about D is that she's not even necessarily his biggest competition in the final three HOH.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00] When it comes down to that quiz, D is not exactly like the quiz monster here. So so like I really don't think there's almost any incentive for Devon's to cut D. I think that I actually think that Melody was always Devon's best, best person to eliminate from the game, primarily because she is the best at quizzes and he doesn't want her anywhere in the final three.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00] He doesn't want to be facing Melody in a final three quiz comp. So, you know, I think this week has actually gone pretty well for Devon's and and and I think that while he is thinking about it, because he had that conversation to the cameras the night before about like, I probably won't even ever have a shot. And now all of a sudden he has a shot wide open. So I think he's thinking about the fact that.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00] Now it is my fault if D beats me because I had a shot, but I still don't think he's going to take it, nor do I frankly think he should.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, unfortunately agreed, because I it would be far more interesting television for Devon to betray D, in my opinion, or for I mean, if D betrays Devon's when she gets opportunity like that's really compelling to me. But at this point, not looking like it's happening, at least for right now, we'll have to see what happens at the final four.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. So they we continue on. Um, Devon's lets Taylor know she will have to go up on the block, but but they also will be keeping her. Don't worry. Um, D also talks to Taylor and lets her know that she's good. Don't worry.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, Taylor, obviously like not super happy about it, but, uh, she's it's not like it was, uh, on Yasha's HOH, uh, even though that was also forced because she does feel pretty decently. Why would they not take out, uh, one of the, the, the duo, one of the pair, uh, between melody and drew? Um, drew does talk to Devon's some, uh, drew's been talking a lot about jury votes and how he doesn't think he has any.

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, he says he thinks he's really screwed with jury votes and he also tries to raise some concern about Taylor having a lot of friends on the jury. Uh, like, you know, she's got Bala, she's got Yash, uh, she was good friends with, uh, you know, if Malady leaves, she's good friends with Malady. Uh, like correctly, I think bringing up some concern about Taylor potentially pulling off an upset, at least in their minds in the jury vote.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, and hoping, I think that he's positioning himself to be the, the, the goat that they bring to the, that both of them potentially cut each other to bring to the final two, which is looking more and more likely like his spot. Uh, and then I assume at that point, hoping that he can pull off like, uh, like, Oh, Hey, there's a bitter jury. I got it.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. Cause I'd be curious to hear the actual speech that he would make. Like, does he believe that he can make a speech to win the game or does he think that he only has a shot if the jury is bitter?

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00] Um, I mean, I think that he will certainly make a case for himself. Right.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, like, does he believe that that is a real thing that would work or, you know what I mean?

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, I don't think, I think he means it when he says he thinks he's probably drawing dead. Uh, I think that like, he, he understands that he's played himself into a corner, but that doesn't mean that like, he's not gonna try. Right. And the main thing is, does it, does it mean he's not going to try to take Taylor or Melody to the end if he has the opportunity?

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_00] Or is he happy to just like, you know, potentially hand it to somebody else? Uh, or even maybe, and this is another thing worth noting, like, is it even, is he even willing to try enough to be like, okay, I know I have a better chance against D than I do against Devin's. So, should I cut Devin's at the final three and take D? Where like, obviously his preference would be to take Devin's and probably lose to Devin's. Uh, but he has a slightly better chance against D.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_00] Is he willing to make those kinds of moves, even though he thinks he might not have a great chance regardless?

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_03] Drew's an interesting one. He really is so fascinating. The way that he operates is bizarre and sometimes nonsensical. So, I, he's not my favorite, but I'm interested to see what happens. And like, I feel like pretty much every vote has kind of gone the way he wanted it to go for the most part. So, like, I don't know, he can make a case.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, the problem is that like, making a case doesn't mean anything in Big Brother. Like, right? Well, yes. The jury, the jury speeches don't really mean much. Uh, what he should really be doing instead of telling Melody that he thinks he can't win. Uh, if Melody's gonna go home, he should be telling her all of the things he's done in the game and giving her pitches and, uh, like, uh, things to say to the jury to help him out. Again, not to say that, like, Melody's gonna be...

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00] Like, it doesn't, like, Nicole did this to Corey. And it's not like, oh, Corey was there pitching up Nicole and nobody believed it because they were in a showman. It's like, no, it's like, who cares? As long as somebody's actually there, actually saying things, uh, it could make a huge, huge difference. Um, and, and this is the perfect opportunity to, as well, because she's leaving and it's not his fault.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_00] And she knows she's basically leaving, which means he has all the time in the world to give her selling points for why he should win. Uh, and he's completely missing that opportunity. I mean, he's, you know, he talks about Will a lot. He talks about Dan. He talks about these players. But, like, this is exactly what Dan did with Keisha. It was, like, his absolute, like, best, uh, jury move was sending Keisha to the jury with all kinds of, uh, stuff.

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_00] And he's, uh, and he's, he's just not doing that with Melody at the moment. And, uh, I think that's gonna be a huge missed opportunity.

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, that's 100% fair. I also just, I'm like, mm, are people listening to Melody anyway? And, like, even going back to the BB-18 example, like, Davon was also really selling Nicole's game for her and that jury as well. Which I think if there was a more kind of Davon-esque figure with, like, a little bit more kind of perceived authority speaking for Drew and jury, it would, it would go a bit further, uh, than just Melody. But, like, someone is better than none.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00] Someone is better than none. And someone who I think absolutely could shift Barrett's vote. I think if Melody pitched, was pitching Barrett, I think Barrett would absolutely flip to Drew. And that is, that's, that's massive. Like, that's the really important vote for Drew. Uh, and if it's, if it's Melody and Barrett, uh, who knows? Now, you know, who is Yash gonna be talking to? Is he gonna be talking to Lala and Angela in the jury? Or is he gonna be talking to Melody and Barrett in the jury?

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_00] Um, and it's like, you know, now all of a sudden the ball starts rolling. You know what I mean? Like, it's, you can't underestimate the importance of things like this, even if you think it's not super important.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_03] True. But you also can't underestimate when people hate your guys.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_00] Certainly. Certainly. But you gotta try.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_03] You gotta try. It's, I mean, if you're gonna be a Dan Giesling stan, you gotta believe that there's always a way. And you have to be trying to find that way. Um,

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_00] Yes.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_03] It's just, it's just the way it is.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_00] So, uh, so they, uh, so Drew does talk with Melody. Um, and, and, like, this is the thing. They have a lot, many long conversations, of course. Um, Melody does think that, like, there's a chance D could, could keep her. Um, but obviously it probably makes more sense to keep Taylor. Um, and so she's pretty upset that she's probably going home. Uh, he goes and he gets the phone for her. She starts crying.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_00] She's not ready to go. Uh, this was like the coolest thing ever. She's not done yet. Um, and Drew starts crying too. He's like, well, I don't want you to go either. Um, and, uh, he says like, uh, later, uh, they go to the pod. He's like, you know, the whole reason I'm on the block is so you wouldn't use, so I wouldn't use the veto on you. Uh, and she's like, he still can. He's like, no, no.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, and they talk about, she tried.

[00:28:56] She did.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_00] Yes. They talk about who can win and what the jury votes are. She says, obviously Devin, Devin's beats D. Um, he's like, well, you know, D would at least have Lala and Angela. Um, and she's like, I don't know. Like Lala hated D and liked Devin's more. And he's like, wow, really? Um, yeah, I guess Devin's, you know, he has run harder. She's like, yeah. Uh, and Drew says, he, he says he, I'll need to, I'll, I probably can't win against anyone. I'd need to go to the end with like Taylor if I want any chance of winning.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_00] Um, and you know, this is not nothing in terms of talking to Melody about jury. Uh, but it is setting himself up for like, what is not necessarily the most likely outcome, uh, of, uh, of getting to the final two. Uh, ideally, you know, it's like, okay, well, you know, again, like Melody, who do you think I can beat the most? She would probably tell him Taylor or D, uh, don't go to the end with Devin's.

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_00] Um, and, and then she could be going to the jury being like, uh, and with them being like, oh yeah, baby boy, Drew loves his daddy. Devin's would never do anything against him. And Melody could be like, actually, I think he's going to cut Devin's if he has the chance. Uh, and then if he actually follows through with it, he doesn't need to sell himself because it's already been sold that he would do that move. And he followed through and did the move very much the Ashley cutting Morgan thing.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_00] And, and that's the kind of thing that can actually win you a lot of momentum in the jury house. Um, but you know, it is what it is at this point. Uh, so, um, so again, he's telling Melody that he thinks, uh, Taylor is his best shot at winning. Does that mean he's actually going to cut the icons to try to take Taylor to the end? That's another question. Uh, but he's saying it out loud.

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. And I mean, speak it into existence like that. It's not just in his head. It's been said in the house. Like I do feel like that carries weight for someone like verbalizing an intention or a thought can kind of keep the wheels moving a little bit more than just like a fleeting moment. Uh, maybe that's silly, but it's what I believe.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_00] So, uh, detox to the cameras. And this is when she says that she actually was planning to evict Drew this week that she was, uh, if she had won that veto, she would have used it on Melody, uh, or at the very least just taken out Drew. She wouldn't have needed to use it on Melody. She could have taken out Drew regardless. Um, but, uh, but she would have tried to flip this vote, get Drew out despite the fact that Devin's didn't want it to happen. She does not, however, plan to cut Devin's until the final three.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_00] She's not going to cut him at final four. Um, you know, in her mind, just because like she's concerned that if she cuts Devin's, uh, then she'll be in the final three with two other people who might take each other and then both of them lose. And she couldn't stomach that. Uh, she'd rather bring Devin's to the final three. And then at least at that point in her mind, one of them wins the game for sure, because they wouldn't lose a jury vote, uh, or at least as close to it as you can possibly get.

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, you know, if they do lose a jury vote, then I guess so be it. Right. Um, so, uh, you know, and, and that's like not a strategic concern. Um, but there are genuine concerns about like if she did cut Devin's and she goes to the final three with say drew and Taylor. Now she's in a must win situation, uh, where she has to win that final three HOH.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_00] She probably is anyway, depending on who's there. If it's drew and Devin's, then she might need to win anyway. And she's against tougher competition. If it's Devin's and Taylor, then she's hoping that Taylor will take her to the final two. Um, because now she understands that like, yeah, melody is going to be out here. Uh, and, uh, and that's okay. Um, because hopefully Taylor will take me to the final two. I can make a final two deal with Taylor.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, and, and that's a potentially winning position for D though. I wouldn't necessarily count it as such. Um, so, you know, that's sort of the game plan here, but if she did cut Devin's, you know, again, it's a must win situation, but the only, the only thing is I don't know that those situations where she doesn't win the final three HOH are that great for her anyway, necessarily.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Like the thing with D and I like D is that girl. She has accomplished things this season that are so impressive. And she's been on the block on eviction night two times and survived as a survivor winner, as someone who has steered a lot of strategy this season. That is not nothing. That is really, really impressive. She has not done the best job maintaining social relationships with everybody in the game and in the jury house.

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_03] And that is something that, I mean, maybe it will matter less for her when she's facing a final jury vote because it's just so impressive that she managed to get there and as a survivor winner, but I'm just someone who highly values the social game. And I feel like she has not done the best job maintaining those social relationships, though she has been extremely dominant strategically, which is still impressive.

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_03] I'm not trying to knock D and say she's a bad player by any means. Like she's accomplished amazing things. But I do think that that has been a bit of a blind spot for her.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_00] I think I would push back a bit. I think that I think that for the most part, her social relationships are all pretty good. I think that like even with Barrett before they left, like she really recovered that relationship as much as she could. I think that like with Yash, she always had a decent relationship. Um, and, and even like with Melody now who she had a pretty contentious relationship with

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_00] Melody's now saying to drew, I like D more on a personal level. I'd rather her win. And I just think that Devin's game is undeniable. Uh, and so I think it's actually a little bit the reverse that like D actually might have the better social relationships on the jury for the most part, but Devin's game being so flashy is just, uh, is just, and he, and being seen as the front runner for so long.

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00] Um, I think that's where like, he probably gets the bulk of those jury votes.

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. And I just want to say that was not me saying that Devin's has a great. Um, I, yeah, I, I think that there's places where D could have done it better. Um, but ultimately everything has always kind of gone the way she wanted it to anyway. So I think as long as that can be vocalized, she will probably be fine. Um, but I, I would have liked to see her flex that social game a little bit more than she has. Cause I know she has it in her.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_03] I know she has it in her. I think she could have done better. And maybe this is me grading her, um, on a curve because she is so impressive as well.

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_00] Yes. Well, uh, I think, um, the other major thing here for bringing Devin's to the final three is again, something that like, maybe she's not thinking about because she's not like on survivor, you know, you cut someone right before the end, they had right to the jury. They're a part of the jury discussion. It's like, it's a whole thing on big brother.

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_00] If she cuts Devin's at the final three, he has no chance to talk to the jury, uh, which means no longer can they go through with their plan of Devin's giving her credit for everything. Um, if she cuts him at final four, he gets to the round table. He's there to advocate for her at the round table. Um, now would he, if she cuts him at four, that's another question, but, uh, but at the final three, that whole plan is moot.

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, and if the entire jury still thinks that Devin's is the one that did everything that could be a problem, but maybe cutting him helps alleviate a lot of those problems. So, you know, it's again, it's tough.

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_03] And just, just please correct me if I'm wrong. Cause I'm not sure where I got this from, but at the final four, obviously, yes, they're at the round table, but at that point, everyone's separate in hotel rooms as well. Right? Like they, so at four, they only get the round table and that's it. And like, it's better, again, it's better than nothing, but it's still like, you got to thread the needle here.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_00] It's, I would say it's a lot better. I mean, the round table, uh, I think has been cited by many players as like when they made their decision fully. Uh, so I think him being there would be a huge difference between, you know, uh, like him being at the round table and then him.

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_00] Into the corner of the jury and then thinking about, uh, other than joining the survivors alliance, uh, what was your best move?

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_03] Well, and it's so, it's so like, and this is how you can tell that like what's going on in the house is it's like, we're at the end of the game. The competitions matter a lot. Like there's less game conversations kind of like there's game conversations happening, but they all are kind of more or less irrelevant depending on how the competitions break down. Um, like Devin's is a lot more charitable when he's in a position of power.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_03] So I could see him sulking a lot at both the round table and the final three.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00] Very possible.

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_03] Just based on vast patterns of behavior that, that I've seen. I don't know him at all. I think that I would really like to like socially hang out with Devin's, but he's never been my favorite game player on these shows.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_00] Well, Dee talks to Drew and this was, uh, this was quite an interesting conversation from my perspective because, um, there's a couple of things happening here. One is about the vote and one is about, you know, final three, final two. Uh, Dee says she feels bad about Melody. She doesn't want Melody to go. He says, I don't either, but I get it. And she's like, well, I mean, I don't know if you want to try to save her or anything.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_03] It's like, Drew, take the bait.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_00] And he says, well, I'd love to, but I wouldn't want to piss off Devin's. And she's like, well, I mean, if you're, I don't know, like you say like, if you will not like willing to not or willing to put her up is like, I don't think I would put her up though. It's like, yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, if, I mean, if you don't want to piss him off, then he's like, yeah, I just don't want him freaking out, you know? And I'd, I'd rather her, I'd rather Melody go out here than like on my HOH, you know?

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_00] Like, I just think it's better if Taylor stays. It's like, okay.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_03] Um, Drew hit him with that. Just kidding. Unless, unless.

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_00] I just, I just, like, I, I, we know that D really wanted Melody to stay just like two nights ago. Um, and there it's, it, there's actually like a path where this makes sense for D to, to actually keep Melody. Uh, like, Hey, it actually makes a little more sense.

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_00] It, it, it sort of incentivizes, um, Devins to not be able to rely on Drew as much, maybe even take Drew out, which gives, uh, uh, gives D the final three situation. She would much greater prefer, which is herself, Melody and Devins. Um, and because she has a much better chance of beating, uh, I think Melody in the final

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_00] two than, uh, than Taylor, not that she can't be Taylor, not that she won't be Taylor, but I think that she, it's even easier to beat Melody. Um, and, uh, and Melody is also more likely to be able to win final three HOH and cut Devins and bring D, uh, and still be able to lose to D. Whereas if Taylor cuts Devins, that's another like thing that she did. And it's another thing that Melody did, but Taylor just has more friends, like more,

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_00] I think chances to potentially win that jury vote potentially. Uh, and again, bringing Melody into final four, uh, could provide an opportunity again to like keep Drew and Devins separate, uh, because, um, because Devins can't rely on Drew. He can't trust Drew in that spot. Um, but you know, it's still probably too dangerous. It's still probably not the play.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, you know, if you don't win that HOH and maybe Melody is more likely to win that HOH because, you know, final four, at least used to be a quiz comp.

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Well, but now it's quiz comp and you're like in a jet pack and you have to lift something.

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Well, last, last year it was, uh, roll, it was roll through dice, a giant dice comp, uh, which was as stupid as hell. Um, right. And then, then final four veto at the very least was like slightly less physical than normal because they just had this giant board that they had to go through. Um, either way though, there's a world where this is like, this is coming from a very genuine place.

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_00] She's thinking about maybe I could keep Melody because she has this relationship with her and there are some upsides to it, even though you probably shouldn't in the first place. And, and, you know, ultimately like it's not, if drew bites, like who cares? Like, of course drew wants melody to stay. That's not, wouldn't be surprising to devons in any way. It wouldn't damage their relationship in any way. Devons does not require drew to want melody out at the final five in order to like, and trust drew.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, if anything, if drew bid on this, it would be incriminating for D more than anything else. So like D is the one taking the risk here in trying to see if drew is down to potentially go against devons to keep melody. And drew doesn't bite. He's, he's fully like rejects this. And I was very surprised by this. I don't really know other than him fearing that it might be a trap. But again, I sort of just outlined why I don't think that makes any sense.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, like, I don't know why he wouldn't be willing to even entertain the conversation about keeping melody unless he really means it that like, he's happy for this to be the spot where she leaves because it's not his fault.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Which is interesting because if she were to leave at the final four, uh, it's only his fault if he's the veto holder and not agent, like HOH doesn't matter at four. It's all about the veto.

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_00] So I feel like control at final four. Great. Don't, don't evict her and bring her to final three.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_03] Exactly. Right. So it's like, if he, if he keeps her now and then wins the HOH and she's not the veto and he's not the veto holder and she doesn't want to veto and then someone else evicts her. Like to me, that's still not Drew's fault. Right. Because like he didn't have any control over the vote. And then even better, if he's not the HOH and he is the veto holder. Great. He can save her. And then they go to the final three together. Like that's ideal. He should absolutely be entertaining this.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Uh, kind of, kind of interesting here. So D pivots, she says, she asked him what he's thinking about final two and he's just completely taken off guard. He's like, what, what? I mean, I can't tell you that.

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, final, final two. Never heard of it. I don't know.

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_00] Well, you're not going to tell me. And she's like, no, I'll tell you. That's why I'm asking. I'll take you. He's like, oh, well, well, I mean, that would be, that would be smarter to keep, to take me. I mean, I think you would sweep me in a vote. She goes, no, I don't think so. But like, you know, I don't, I don't know what Devins would do. We haven't really talked about it. Have you talked about it with Devins? He goes, oh no, not really. Uh, right now we're just living in bliss, you know? Uh, but it does seem like everyone's thinking of Devins as a front runner, uh, which is the conversation he had just had with Melody.

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_00] Um, so, you know, it's. Um, D is trying to, to get, but Drew in this conversation does not promise her final two. It does not even quite frankly imply that he's taking her to final two, uh, here at all. Um, so, uh, so this to me indicates that he was perhaps afraid of this being a trap, uh, given that he also seems to be worried that this is a trap, uh, this, the final two conversation.

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_00] He might've also been worried that the Melody conversation was a trap. Again, I don't think that he should have approached the Melody conversation as a trap. The final two conversation. Yeah. You might want to be a little worried about that. Um, but still I would say given the actual situation of the relationships that exist, this is a more dangerous conversation for D in both instances than it is for Drew. And the more he entertains either conversation, the more ammunition he has against D moving forward.

[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, so I think he's being a little overly cautious unless he's just, I may be rightfully concerned that D even with the truth on his side would be able to like sort of sweep the floor with him and, uh, like influence D Evans off. So, uh, you know, there's that, but if, but if that were the case, then he doesn't, it doesn't matter whether or not he falls for the trap. Like she's just going to, she's going to do it anyway.

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. At this point in the game, people can fall into traps and they can get themselves out of it. Uh, because it's a lot of this is coming down to competitions.

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_00] So some interesting stuff, but, uh, we'll see if it ends up meaning anything. Taylor and Melody do spend some time talking together as well. Um, partially while this conversation is happening, they're talking a lot about Drew, the relationship that Melody has with Drew, uh, so on and so forth. At one point there is a comment that, uh, I thought was interesting that Taylor says like, you know, Drew might actually win this thing. And you know what?

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_00] I wouldn't be mad. Uh, I was like, that's, that's pretty different than I feel like I've heard before from Taylor. So, uh, that's interesting to hear.

[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. And all the more reason for Drew to be doing everything in his power to keep Melody, because it sounds like Taylor might be the one to go back to the jury house and be talking of his game.

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. I mean, Taylor there to, uh, sort of, you know, I mean, if, I mean, this is sort of an offhand comment. So like, who really knows, but like, uh, certainly if, if Taylor was able to smooth over some of the edges of Yash, I think that could certainly be, uh, useful, but I don't know that she would quite frankly.

[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_00] Um, but it is, it is useful to know, uh, again, like I do think that drew cutting Devon's is a big enough thing that it could, could land like a final three of drew Devon's D right.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_00] Drew wins the final HOH evicts Devon's who can't talk to the jury sits next to D the jury still thinks that Devon's ran most of the game more so than D and that drew baby boy. Drew just made the move and cut Devon's. And now drew looking, drew's looking like the one who like just did the thing and D for all they know would have kept Devon's, uh, and been his losing final two partner.

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, and it's hard to convince them otherwise in speeches. And Devon's has no chance to talk to them, to tell them about how good D was being the whole game. And now all of the moves that she made were her moves. Uh, like that is a scenario where I could see drew actually pulling out a win.

[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. It's really, it's not impossible at this point by any means. Um, and I think as well, and I don't know how drew would say it or if it would make much of a difference, but like to be able to say like, look, yes, I worked with the vets, but you know what? Baird also worked with the vets. He turned on them and went home right away.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_03] Melody put them up and went home right away. Like it really was too soon. It had to be in this final moment in order to actually secure my spot. And that's, and that's why sticking with the vets was intentional and strategic all season long. And I, I did what I set out to do and I'm here and you have to recognize that it, it worked like it could, you could make a speech there that could be compelling to the,

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_03] to the newbies though. They might just be like, you were spineless. We hate you. It's not happening anyway. But like, there's a case. There's a case.

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_00] And I, I, I just, again, it's just like, this speech is so rarely matter anyway that like, I think it's more so going to be a, just about like, what were, what is the final move that was made? Right. Okay. So who knows, but, but that's about what I've got for you from yesterday. Anything else that you wanted to bring up, Kirsten?

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_03] Um, I did just want to say Taylor took some time to talk about the history of her sorority. She's an Alpha Kappa Alpha, AKA, I believe Asia also is. And so that was really cool to hear about it. If anyone can go back and watch the clip, I've seen it on social media. You can go watch that. That's super interesting. And, uh, they were talking about cats. Do you have to bathe a cat? Have you ever had to give us a bath? I was wondering.

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_00] I have not. No.

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I'm very grateful that I have not had to give a full bath to my cat. So I definitely had to help them clean up at different times when they were a little bit sick and it's not fun and they don't like it.

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_03] So zero out of 10, don't recommend, um, having to do that. Um, they also talked, Taylor asked if people like declawed their cats and just thought, let's put it on the record. Don't declaw your cat. That's animal cruelty. That is amputating parts of their little fingers that don't need to be amputated. And then they live in pain.

[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_03] And it's better to have a scratched up couch than to have a little animal that's in pain for the rest of its life because you cared more about your couch and the little kitty.

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_00] Mm hmm. Yes. Uh, yeah, that's, that is a very much not something that anybody should do. It is, it is immense cruelty. Um, all right. Well, that's what we have for you then. Uh, tonight there will be an episode. Uh, we will see tiny HOH. We will see Drew's begging and pleading. Uh, and then likely the nominations. We might get more clarification on this Pharaohs thing, but I, I, who knows?

[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. There was a lot of discussion about that through the day as well that I guess we didn't really touch on and people going back to basically it, it said that only the HOH and veto holder are safe, which is like.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_00] That's always true at final five.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_03] Every week anyway. Um, but people are kind of speculating that perhaps, uh, even someone who's not necessarily on the blog could end up being in trouble because of this twist.

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_03] I don't really know how that mechanism would work, but hopefully we get full information on how it's going to work tonight. I'll admit, I thought the feeds were going to go down yesterday for the eviction. I was very surprised that they didn't.

[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_00] Oh no. The, yeah. The eviction is today, uh, on Sunday. Um, I will still say my prediction is that the, the twist is just, it's a shortened eviction. They might do this. They might do a similar thing with the jury, with the, with the eviction votes that they did last season where they did the voodoo dolls, like, uh, in front of everyone.

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_03] What do you think that would be? You think you, they have to like wrap a mummy bandaid around the person they're voting out?

[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_00] Maybe. Yeah. Maybe some kind of like, uh, curse, uh, who knows? Um, but, uh, but we'll see. Uh, the, the, the hope is that, you know, that we are able to keep feeds through, uh, once the eviction happens, uh, which I would assume we do.

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_00] Frankly, frankly, even though, you know, I'm not always that optimistic, but, uh, I, I don't believe that they've cut feeds before for something like this. So I not like for the eviction itself. Of course they would, uh, would.

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Well, they've been doing a, a pretty good job at bringing feeds back. And I think that when they saw how low usage of Paramount Plus one, when the feeds were down for an extended period earliest, earlier this season, I think they were like, Oh no, we, we have to feed the feeders. We need them using our app.

[00:54:44] [SPEAKER_00] You would hope you would hope.

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_03] I hope. Fingers crossed.

[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_00] Yes. Um, all right. Well, that is what we have for you then today. Uh, I'll be back tomorrow morning, 11 AM Eastern to update you on everything that happens today on the big brother, the 28 live feeds, including likely who ends up evicted. So it is very likely to be melody at this point. Um, and, uh, or at least I think we can assume that we'll find out who was evicted. Uh, but you know, who knows?

[00:55:10] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, and, uh, check out my Patreon Twitch and YouTube. I'll be streaming for tonight's episode. And I've got all kinds of other fun off season content planned, uh, as well as, uh, some content that is still ongoing, like on things like jet lag, uh, watching jet lag at the very least. Kirsten, what do you got going on?

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, yeah. Mess magnets, myself and Sasha Joseph talking pop culture, celebrity gossip, trending topics. We're recording, um, today in the episode will go up today for our patrons. And in a couple of days for everybody else, we're going to talk latest season of secret lives and Mormon wives. I don't know if Sasha knows we're talking about that, but I'm, I'm, I'm talking about it.

[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, and it should be really interesting and fun. So definitely check us out over there. Mess magnets. And you can follow me everywhere at Kirsten said what, uh, I am doing a 5k for breast cancer research in the weekend after the big brother finale. So if you have any spare dollars and would like to donate it to breast cancer research, it is my pinned skeet over on blue sky.

[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_00] All right. Well, thank you all so much for joining us then today. And I will see all of you next time.
