BB28 Sunday Live Feed Update August 23, 2026 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 is tense as the house navigates new targets, shifting alliances, and the fallout from a heated confrontation. Taran Armstrong brings on Mari Forth for a live feed recap, digging into the latest Veto win, who might be in danger, and [β¦][00:00:11] Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA. Every single season, you know he is the reason, you know that he could do it tomorrow.
[00:00:43] Good morning, welcome to our live feed update for August 23rd. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday.
[00:00:55] On the Big Brother 28 live feeds, it was day 47 in the house. And we have a veto competition, we have some veto results, we have new party reps, and a bunch of other nonsense to talk through. And with me to talk through it all is Mari. How you doing Mari?
[00:01:19] Taryn, I'm tired. I'm literally tired from lack of sleep. I'm tired of these castmates. I'm tired of having to come on here and talk about microaggressions, implicit bias and racism. I'm tired, Taryn. I'm tired. I'm tired. Taryn, Taryn, Taryn. I'm tired.
[00:01:41] Yeah, you know, and people are like, oh, does this have to be every... Well, I mean, this is what happens in the world. It's probably going to happen in the house too. And, you know, I'll point it out when it does.
[00:02:02] So, let's talk through the day. As you know, Dee is the HOH. She nominated Drew, Lala, and Taylor for eviction. Drew, the initial target, but during the nomination ceremony, called out Lala, Taylor, and Yash for their participation in the meeting, the summit meeting, where they all talked about going after the icons.
[00:02:28] We still don't know, like the full details of exactly how that meeting went down. We will see it in tonight's episode. And after that, the icons were like, you know what? He's burned his bridges. We trust him now. No longer the target between Lala and Taylor. It's a little bit up in the air. They're not really sure which one they prefer to target at this point.
[00:02:50] But really, what's going to happen is, right away in the morning here of day 47, Devins, who had been talking about something else before the Drew thing came up, has an idea. And it's the same idea that he was mentioning prior to all the Drew stuff, which is... What about Mallory's arena? What about Mallory's arena? This was something he had talked to Dee about the night she won the HOH.
[00:03:17] It is the correct move, the one that should have been made over Drew, because Mallory actually is a threat to them and actually is coming for them. And, you know, makes a lot more sense here. And so he is going to talk to Dee about it. And she's immediately like, yeah, I think Mallory makes sense as the renum. I don't like how quiet she was through the whole fight.
[00:03:45] Mallory as a renum makes sense. Now, obviously, we don't know if they need a renum yet. It's just the idea of if we do need a renum, who would it be? They don't really want to do Yash because he's basically like handcuffed with the bribe. They don't want to do Hayley because they've pulled her in. So who would it be? Mallory makes some sense to them. Yeah.
[00:04:09] And again, on a season where you have to nominate three people and quite often a fourth, nobody should be throwing HOH. I know like nobody should be throwing HOH.
[00:04:24] So the fact that Mallory is here being brought up as a potential nominee before we have veto and then knowing that she at least says to Barrett that she didn't want this HOH and she threw it to Dee is just bang your head upside a wall frustrating. It truly is. It truly is.
[00:04:43] And it's just like they are letting the icons like have their way with this game and they're not even doing it in a strategic way. Like there's been very like poor gameplay throughout this day because Drew shouldn't have been up there. You should have initially put Mallory up if that was the case. But, you know, yeah, Mallory is is finding herself in the crosshairs right now.
[00:05:09] And, you know, that's what happens when you don't seize power. Yeah. Yes. Uh, for anyone wondering in the graphic, if you're watching the video, we have now added a little have not had never not passed to drew to indicate his colossal power of being able to. Like he can always eat. But he doesn't have to eat. He's never it's a never not pass.
[00:05:39] Not an always food pass. OK, I guess. Like a never not a double. You should have been a double. If it were green, I wouldn't want people to be confused and think that it was a good power. Oh, yeah. Oh, no, that that that's you're right. You're right. You're right. That makes sense. That makes sense.
[00:06:07] So also, again, we have Yash now the recipient of the bribe power, but it's in dark. Red mode as well, because it is. Oh, my gosh. I and I cannot believe like I understand he has to agree with this so he can keep him himself safe for this week. But my God, like like not being able to put up the icons on his very next H.O.H., I guess.
[00:06:35] And that's what in perpetuity of the season is kind of that is that is a weight. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And they I've been asked about this and I don't think I've addressed it on a podcast, but like there's a question has been raised of like, OK, what happens if icons are the only available option when he's H.O.H.? The easy answer being something like what if he's at the final four with all three icons?
[00:07:05] He wins. He wins H.O.H. Or there are certainly plenty of situations prior to that where it might happen, where like other people are safe through powers or vetoes or whatever. And the answer is we don't know. The producers are just kind of vibing this, I think.
[00:07:24] But but my guess would be that if the icons are the only option, he would be allowed to nominate them because it's no longer a choice he's actively making. It's just what it's the only available option. But it's really whatever the producers want.
[00:07:46] And then there's another question that I was asked as well, which is, I think, an even more interesting one, which is what happens if D gets evicted? At somebody else's hands, does she like the head vampire and like everyone returns to like this? The does the deal go away? And I would say, again, it should. I think that that's more fun.
[00:08:14] Like the only way to break his chains is to. Yeah, like like somebody to evict the D for him so that he can be free from the curse. Yeah. It's like it's like obsession. Like somebody has to snap the wishing willow to get D out. So the spell can be released. And that's that has to be exactly it. Because when D is staying up like, oh, my God, Josh sold his soul to us.
[00:08:44] It's so funny. I'm like, so you're the devil, D? You're we're all clear on this. You're you're the devil. You said he sold his soul to you. So as long as we're all on the same page here. Got it. Yes. Anyway, I think that would be fun, but we'll see. I guess. Yeah, we will see that also tonight. We'll see that. So there's actually a lot tonight to to be watching out for. There's a conversation that we missed on the feeds from the offering this bribe in the first place.
[00:09:13] I assume some clarification on exactly the rules, although I doubt for these niche scenarios that we also need to see just I mean, whether I don't know how much they're going to show us because sometimes they don't show us when somebody throws a competition. But Mallory, maybe you throw in this H.O.H. I'm getting ready to be mad about. And and then, you know, whatever else I said, we're going to see tonight. Yeah.
[00:09:37] So I anyway, throughout the day, I mentioned this last night that Taylor, after looking through the rulebook, took Drew's hairbrush and hit it and he did not find it that night. He was looking in the morning. And I can tell you now he is going to continue to be looking basically throughout the day. It becomes like a whole house hunt for the hairbrush. Nobody is ever able to find it.
[00:10:03] Uh, and and it it becomes like a whole whole storyline unto itself where he thinks that Taylor and Lala might have taken it. Um, and he's thinking about taking something of their something of everybody's. Uh, and then, uh, there's like some controversy over did anybody go through Taylor stuff? And she thinks Drew did it and she asks him if he did it and he says no. And then she believes him. And then he's like, wow, she got in my face about that.
[00:10:31] And then, uh, Melody ends up, uh, getting involved in trying to hide something. And Drew's like, no, don't do that. Um, and, uh, and, and it's a whole, it's a whole big saga here with the hairbrush. Yeah. Hairbrush gate isn't nearly as fun as muffin gate. It's not fun at all. To be quite honest for my, for me myself.
[00:10:56] I think Melody does end up taking Lala's bedding from the have not room and hiding it from what I wasn't sure exactly what it was that she took. Yeah. Um, it's, it, it sucks. Like it's, and honestly, this is production's fault because, um, remember when people were hiding, uh, towels in the toilet for Lala to clean up and, and, and putting stuff around the house to make Lala irritated weeks and weeks ago.
[00:11:25] Production should have stopped it. Then production, a lot of this, a lot of the onus should fall on production for, um, the, what's going on in the house right now. Um, but it's just ratcheting up and it's like, this is not fun pranks anymore. This is like high tension. This is people like lashing out at people and it's not fun. And I, my rule of thumb, like I never touch people's stuff in the house. I am that type of person.
[00:11:54] I'm like, Lala, like if you touch my stuff, we, it's like, I'm, I'm pissed. Like I'm completely upset. So nobody should be touching anybody's stuff. Yeah. I'm, I'm, uh, I'm going through big brother too, uh, for, uh, I'm doing a project for my patron, the off season. I'll be going through big brother too, like in real time with live feed updates. Uh, and, um, and so I'm doing a lot of prep work for it and, uh, I'm, I'm being reminded
[00:12:23] of, uh, Kent and Justin, Kent being very mad at Justin for touching his personal pillow. Uh, and we know how that one ended up going. Of course, uh, there's going to be some toothbrush incidents as well. Um, been a problem from the start here. Uh, but, uh, but that is a whole saga throughout the day. And while that is happening, of course, there's also a veto competition going on. Uh, and they need to pick players for it. Angela and Barrett are chosen to play in the veto competition.
[00:12:53] Um, and, uh, and that will be coming up shortly in the meantime. Um, there are going to be plenty of conversations throughout the day. Taylor does talk to D and Angela. She asks, uh, why she was nominated essentially. Um, it's D Angela and Haley in the bed and the HOH room and Taylor's asking like D and Angela. Uh, why am I up? And Angela's like, well, first of all, I'm not HOH.
[00:13:19] So, uh, but I would have put you up because you said my name. And Taylor's like, I didn't say your name. Uh, it's, it's, that's not true. And D says, well, I did put you up because when I was a nominee, I, I heard you were trying to get me out of the game. And just like, oh yeah, me too. You did that to me too. And I was like, well, I can't have said the same thing about both of you. He's like, I don't understand the question. What are you trying to say?
[00:13:46] Like, I can't, if, if you're both on the block, I can't have been trying to get both of you out. Uh, and D's like, well, I don't understand what you're, I'm, I can't, I, it's, I'm, you're both on the block. It doesn't make any sense. Uh, and voices start to get raised and, uh, and the feed's cut and the comeback. And she's like, just because I wanted Kama to stay didn't mean I want Angela to leave. Uh, and, um, and heavily meaning like, you know, Haley, Haley basically wanted to leave this week.
[00:14:15] Meanwhile, Haley's just laying there with headphones. Not for just, uh, finally. Angela's like, well, listen, you were up there when Lala's with Lala when she's talking about going after the icons. Uh, and, and then they talk about being associated and all that stuff. And she also says, well, when she says she's going after the icons, she only ever meant Devon's, which again is kind of true, uh, because they did have that conversation, but
[00:14:44] not like a hundred percent true. Um, and, uh, and when, after Taylor leaves the room, they're talking to Haley about it and Haley's like, why would you say icons if you only mean one of them? Okay. Um, it's just that, it's just that whole point, uh, big brother, where it's like, all right, I'm putting you on the block. This is my reasoning. I don't agree with your reasoning.
[00:15:12] Well, it's your fault. I'm putting you on the block type thing. And it's just like, what, what's happened. Basically what it all boils down to is Taylor and Lala got, got right. Taylor and Lala got, got, they didn't take their shot when they could have. And when they should have, and D is now taking her shot at them first. And it's unfortunate. Yes.
[00:15:40] Well, D is going to talk to drew slightly now that she's already kind of like thinking about Mallory as a potential renom again, she doesn't necessarily need to make any renom yet, but, um, there's going to be a lot of these conversations through the day, uh, about like just trying to drew's just really easy to trap, you know? Uh, he's so willing to throw, to just like throw people slightly under the bus.
[00:16:08] Um, so she asks him about melody and Mallory's connection to Yash. And he's like, well, yeah, I mean, there's, there's still, there's still super close for sure. Uh, I mean, yeah, I mean, like melody and Mallory are like playing the middle now, I think. Um, and she's like, well, that really worries me. He's like, well, I mean, it's not that big of a deal. It is. Um, but like, this is just the first of many examples through the day of, uh, of like these kinds of moments. Um, meanwhile, Devin's talks to the cameras.
[00:16:37] He says he does want drew to stay, uh, after that nomination ceremony. He wants Mallory up because she's playing the middle and she's the most dangerous FAP member. Um, and once she's up, she needs to go. This is not just a renom for Devin's. This is, he wants Mallory targeted over drew over Yash over Haley over Taylor and Lala. He wants Mallory to be the primary target.
[00:17:08] Um, especially because once they nominate her, it's going to kind of like potentially blow things up now, potentially blow things up. Doesn't usually happen. Usually what happens is, Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be so sketchy. Please keep me. Um, so we'll see, but, uh, but this is part of his idea. Now he also reveals, I think, uh, another sort of angle to this, the Mallory thing that, uh,
[00:17:36] explains why it's specifically coming from him. And it's not just that he has like the mind to know that Mallory actually is coming for them in the way that she really is. But also I think that he wants to weaken Barrett a little bit. He doesn't fully trust Barrett. Obviously Barrett is for the icons, but he's closer to D than he is to Devin's. And so he doesn't like that very much because he does want to go to the final two with D.
[00:18:02] He says this, uh, explicitly, he says that he feels best about going to the final two with D. He feels like he can beat her in the end. They have, they will have had similar resumes, but he needs the money more. And he thinks that's going to really pull some heartstrings and that she won't be able to pull heartstrings in the same way. He is everyone's dad in the house. She's just like another player who already won a million dollars. And so that is his plan for the game. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:18:30] So, uh, you know, Devin's is kind of banking on a socioeconomic pitch to the jury, apparently. And it's like, we'll see how that, that goes. Um, I believe earlier in the season, we had some talk about that earlier in the season. And I believe people were like, I don't care about like what somebody makes you just, you go with who plays the best game. So I don't know.
[00:18:57] I, I, I mean, if Devin's leans on more, like I've made you guys feel comfortable. I've been here for you in the house. Like that feels better to me than like, I have a family. I need the money more. It might be true. I think it, it is true, but like, I don't know. That always kind of feels icky to me. Um, when you throw that in at the, at the end, like if that was a final two, I'd be like, I don't know, man. Like, it's just like, let's talk about the game.
[00:19:27] What did you do here in the game? What were your moves here in the game? Why should I make you the face of this season type thing? So I don't know, man. Yeah. You know, like as I've gotten older, I, I have sort of like thought more about like, cause when I was, when I was a young'un, I was like, who needs the money? Everyone needs the money. Who cares? It's who played the game.
[00:19:54] As I've gotten older, I have been like, you know, it probably would factor at least a tiny bit in my brain that like, you're somebody that could really like, they've got a family. They could really use the money. However, I would not like it if they brought it up to me. I want to be thinking about it myself. If you start trying to pull my heartstrings saying how much you need, who's to say you need it more than them. That's my judgment to make as a juror, not yours.
[00:20:24] But then it is also kind of funny to be saying all this. And then he's like sitting next to like a literal certified millionaire though. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like a public certified millionaire. So it's like, it's so funny. Like, cause that is the case. But then it is, it's like, but also this woman is rich. She's like young and 29. And she, like he said, she lives in Miami. She's good. So it's just kind of funny.
[00:20:52] I think the other angle of it too, is that just, is just that like, I, I want the case to be compelling and I want it to be about the game. I will factor in the other stuff. And so, so I don't, I don't think this is a great pitch from Devin's that said, I do think if you sat them both in the final two chairs right now, he would beat her. He has made the flashier moves. He is seen as the more dangerous cutthroat player.
[00:21:20] And I do think he has the votes over her at this point, but you know, there's a long way to go in the game. And that is what I think people often don't realize. So, um, Yash is going to spend the day, uh, campaigning against Drew because he would prefer Drew to leave over Taylor or Lala. Um, and also campaigning against the icons. He talks a lot with Mallory. He talks a bit with Melody.
[00:21:48] Um, they are not budging on the Drew issue, but they are both agreeing with him that the icons need to go. Now, at this point, we know it's a bit rich for Yash to be campaigning against the icons, but it's kind of all he can do, uh, is try to make sure other people are going after them for him because he no longer can do it himself. Um, and, and the, the thing that really like, I talked about this yesterday, but the thing
[00:22:14] that really like sucks about this position for Yash is that he can win an HOH and just go after like Barrett and Drew himself or like whoever else he thinks is supporting the, maybe Haley who's supporting the icons at this point. Oh yeah. Um, and then great. You took out one of their numbers. That's still great for you, except the, like you then can't compete in the following HOH and you're like just as vulnerable. Ooh, I didn't even think about that aspect. You know?
[00:22:41] So it's like, I, you still need to, at the end of the day, you kind of still like need to just win it and get it out of the way, but it does just leave you even more vulnerable the following week. Um, yeah, that was, that was my first thought is when, as soon as possible. So you can take this yoke off your neck. Don't think, let me push off winning and, and, you know, just win. So, uh, oh my God. This is great. The more you think about it's worse. It gets worse.
[00:23:13] It, yeah, it's, um, and like, because once he is free of the curse, uh, I like that we call it a curse. Um, it's, uh, they now, they now are like, well, now we need to get Yash out and he can't compete in that HOH. Um, it reminds me a lot of like, uh, uh, Jamaica being unable to compete in HOH for like, however long it was like, yeah. Yeah. Five weeks or something. Yeah.
[00:23:43] With the, the, how bad do you want it? Yeah. And it just kind of like, she just kind of became like, uh, just an entity in the house. Cause like she, nobody, she could never win power. They didn't bother to evict her until like the time was almost up. I'm pretty sure. Um, so, uh, but this one is a lot, a lot more. I mean, granted funny. We mentioned that season because also on that season, there was a certain player that
[00:24:08] basically couldn't be nominated or targeted by one of the particular players in that game. This is, they really are dredging up the past more stuff from ever before big brother time warp. So Yash has been, as I mentioned, he's going to spend the day talking with Mallory melody.
[00:24:35] Uh, there's a particular conversation he's having with Mallory that Angela spots. Um, now she's like, Oh, there's Mallory talking with Yash. Um, and so she goes upstairs to the gym where, where Devin's been talking to the cameras and she says, Hey, guess who I just got, guess who I just caught talking to, uh, each other, Mallory and Yash. And, uh, and Devin's like, I was literally just telling the cameras that I think Mallory should go up as the renom. Um, she's like me too.
[00:25:03] I was also just thinking that, Oh my God. Um, so he goes and pitches it to D, uh, and Angela comes in eventually as well. And they talk about it a bit. D is a bit reluctant. She was down to put Mallory up as the renom, but she's a bit reluctant to make her the target. She thinks that might be a little early, but after talking it through, they eventually convince her that it's probably the plan. You don't want to nominate Yash or Haley. If you do nominate Mallory, you might as well then just take her out.
[00:25:31] Um, and so this kind of becomes the new plan though. They are still going to have to think about it a little bit because they're not a hundred percent sure about the votes. Um, and, uh, and the votes of course, meaning they need four, there's eight votes totally need four to tie D breaks the tie, uh, with Mallory on the block. It would be Devin's Angela as two locked in votes.
[00:25:57] And then, you know, who is Mallory up against is a question, but theoretically you could probably grab Haley. You need one more. If Mallory's up against Lalo or Taylor, you'd assume that they would join in and be the fourth. Um, or just ask Barrett. He'd be like, I don't think that's a good idea, but I guess if you want to. Yeah.
[00:26:24] The, uh, the votes, the votes is this, this week could be very, very interesting. Um, I would be honestly shocked if we don't end up in a tiebreaker in like most scenarios to be quite honest, but we'll certainly could go that way. Yes. Um, so, uh, so we get to the veto competition just to, to get this locked in here.
[00:26:49] Um, we get to the veto competition and it is, uh, apparently they brought back one of the most infamous competitions in the history of the show from big brother 14, the coaches competition where they have to basically perform various sex acts in competitive fashion. Yes.
[00:27:20] Yes. Yes. How, how, how many times can you thrust those hips? How many times can you wiggle that tongue? Lord, this is, this is a serious game of social strategy, Taryn. Yeah. Yeah. If you don't remember, maybe you weren't watching the big brother 14 competition. They get dressed in like eighties, uh, like workout gear. And, uh, and they've got this, like one of them is something along the lines of like, you
[00:27:47] got two pads next to you and you're like, you're like doing this right with your hips. And you're like, every time you hit one, you get a thing. And then, uh, I'm not going to do it, but then there's another one where you're like, you're thrusting, you're thrusting hard. Uh, and it's like, every time you touch the pad, you get a thing. And then there's another one that's like, you got a little, a little stick and you stick out your tongue and you, uh, wiggle it back and forth.
[00:28:17] Wait, do it again. So my face looks different. So when they clip this, I don't look. Mari, that is the, uh, cross you were going to bear for us here. If I'm going to do the tongue thing, you're gonna, you're going to have a face. Yes. Um, this is, this, this is kind of like the big brother 23 one, but at the big brother 23 one, the last one was like Brittany going like this or something like that.
[00:28:46] I'm sure that how did that not give anybody CTE? Like, that's why they probably went back to the tongue thing. It really did. It was, it was bad for, uh, for Brittany. Um, she really like messed up her neck doing that. So I think they were like, let's not do that one. Yeah. Um, so, uh, so the, of course, this is the competition and the winner of this competition was Lala.
[00:29:16] Yes. Shout out to Lala. Like I'm, I'm so happy for her, man. A 58 year old woman is in there killing it, killing it. And they keep underestimating her too. Like, wow, that's amazing. All she's out fitnessing these fitness people. That's crazy work. I love that for her. Her second physical competition. I would, I would classify this as physical.
[00:29:44] Uh, her second physical competition win over, uh, a set of players who most of whom are, uh, are half her age. Um, and, uh, she apparently really crushed them in the tongue one. Uh, cause she's a stunning linguist because she's a singer. Taryn. She's a singer. Of course. Of course. Um,
[00:30:15] Lala with the veto means she will of course be coming off the block, which means this whole Mallory thing. It's why I've been talking about it so much. I haven't exactly been subtle. Um, the Mallory renom plan now seems particularly on. And of course this is even more dangerous for FAP, uh, because with Lala coming off the block, there's a very real chance that the final nominees are Mallory versus drew.
[00:30:41] And there's not even any chance to kind of get a vote to protect one of them, uh, let alone Mallory herself. Um, and, uh, and I just, just for one moment before we even watch tonight's episode, just want to. That's why you don't throw competitions. That's why you don't throw the H-U-H Mallory. Yes. Exactly. I'm just, I'm just, I'm just like, I'm sorry, Mallory, but you deserve it.
[00:31:12] Yeah. Yep. Sorry. Didn't mean to step on your toes there, but that is exactly, exactly what I wanted to hear because it, it just doesn't make sense. Stop it. We are halfway. Well, almost halfway through this game. Stop throwing competitions. I think we, um, I think we are about, we are whatever we're far enough that nobody should be throwing competitions at this point. Yeah. And listen, Mallory. Mallory. Mallory.
[00:31:38] I had people also telling me, oh, Taryn, always trying to get people and not throw competitions. He doesn't understand that sometimes you're in a position where you should throw competitions and that's exactly where Mallory is. She's playing the middle. She shouldn't throw that would ruin her game to win an H-O-H. She should be throwing. Who could have said that after the week we just saw of Mallory and Melody going back and forth and everybody being mad at them?
[00:32:09] People. People. So, Drew is going to talk to D up in the H-O-H room about the renom. He thinks that, uh, he thinks that D should put Yash up as the renom. This was kind of his whole plan in the first place. He was like, uh, we should veto Lala, throw up Yash, battle it out. I beat Yash in the blockbuster.
[00:32:36] Um, and, uh, and D of course has no intention of nominating Yash. So it's funny because her first reaction to this, like every time it's like, you think you can beat Yash? Right. As it should be. Cause sir, pipe down a little bit. Yash has won a lot. Like, please calm. Calm. Yes. Yes. Um, she says, uh, I don't want to do Yash.
[00:33:04] I just, I don't, I, I think that Yash will just win the blockbuster and then he'll win the H-O-H and he'll target me. Uh, and I don't want that. And Drew's like, well, I mean, he did just nominate you. Like, I feel like he's going to target you regardless. And here's the thing. Drew's completely right. Without the information that about the bribe. Uh, so D is like, I don't know. Maybe he doesn't.
[00:33:33] Maybe if I keep him safe this week, he doesn't target me. Um, and, uh, and the funny part is that like the fact that Drew is trying to get her to target Yash, like obviously makes sense from his perspective. And it's something that makes sense for her game from his perspective. But because it doesn't make sense from her perspective, because she knows about the bribe, she thinks that Drew is being sketchy.
[00:34:03] Drew's trying to get me to do his dirty work by putting up Yash when it doesn't make sense to put Yash up. But Drew doesn't know that it doesn't make sense to put Yash up because he doesn't know about the bribe. So it actually does make sense for Drew to want you to put Yash up for your game. But it still feels sketchy from her because from her perspective, he's trying to get her to do something that she doesn't want to do. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Really? Honestly. Just ridiculous.
[00:34:31] Um, so he's like, look, I think Yash is going to target you anyway. But at the end of the day, it's your call. Do what's good for your HOH. Um, and so she's now still saying to, uh, to Drew that, um, that it's between Haley and, uh, and Yash as the, for the renom. She's not telling him about Mallory yet. Um, he's, he's kind of like, it doesn't, don't nominate Haley. She's with us. And, and this again, it's like, she's not with Drew.
[00:35:01] She's with D. Um, he really is just like giving her, I think, good advice, what the advice she should be taking if not for the bribe. Uh, and quite frankly, even with the bribe, like, it's like, you know, you still need him to leave, you know, like, uh, like now listen, Mallory is the greater Mallory should be the target. Yeah. But like, if not Mallory, it should kind of maybe be Yash.
[00:35:27] Um, because, uh, because yeah, he can't target you with the next HH and for as much as it sucks for Yash, if he wins and he can't target them and he, then he can't win the next HH. It's like, but if he wins and targets Barrett and Barrett leaves and the following HH, you know, goes to whoever, uh, but you just spent a week on the wrong side of Yash HH. Um, all he needs to do is win a veto blockbuster and now he's back in action.
[00:35:57] He can target you all he wants. Right. That's a great point. Not to mention the fact that like Yash being HH just because he can't target you doesn't mean that he can't also pull in some numbers against you as the HH, uh, and like then head into the next HH with some numbers, with some people kind of competing against you. And so on and so on. Not to mention he can, he can out the fact that he can't nominate you and use it as a great excuse as to why he's nominating the people he's nominating, uh, and be like,
[00:36:25] I'm sorry, but they bailed themselves out instead of you for this situation. Like it's still not good for them to have Yash in the game, in my opinion. Um, but I do agree that Mallory is again, the bigger third because she can, she can actually target them, uh, as early as next week. Um, I would just maybe have Yash as a good backup. It's so hypocritical too, right? Because like, I remember in week two, when they put up, when they made that big spectacle
[00:36:55] of Rome wants to just save Lyric and Jason and all of you else are, are mincemeat and da, da, da, da, da. And if somehow I cut, Oh my God, I want, I needed to get out that they, the icons saved themselves and they left the rest of their, their loyal followers, uh, for the chopping block. It's just a hypocrisy at its finest and it'll just get more hypocritical throughout the night. It was wow. Hard watch.
[00:37:25] Yeah. So, um, sorry. I just had the thought of like, it would be so funny to me because we never actually saw the actual deal. It'd be so funny to me if we watched tonight's episode and like, they worded it wrong to Yash. Oh my God. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but like, what if they said you can't target us, you know, or like, what if they said like, you can't, uh, you know, nominate us
[00:37:53] and technically a renomination is different, you know, like what, you know, anyway, a monkey paw moment or whatever it's called. That would be so great. Um, so, uh, Angela talks to Devin's and they both agree. If Mallory goes up, Mallory goes home. If she wins the blockbuster, Taylor goes home, probably overdrew. Uh, and that is the current state of things.
[00:38:22] Expect this to change. Right. For many reasons. Um, I think that, you know, quite frankly, you kind of want to be the person that is, that is the plan for eviction. Mm hmm. Prior to Thursday. If the vets are in charge of the votes. Yes. Cause they'll more than likely flip it and you won't go home. Yeah.
[00:38:48] But that was what, like when I initially heard this plan, I was like, I'm, but I'm confused because Lala wins a veto. Taylor is still on the block. Like, are we forgetting like, like Taylor and Yash very tight. You've handcuffed Yash. Taylor's still there. Taylor had been your visible op. Not saying I want them to go after Taylor, but she's like your visible op. So you put Mallory up and you want Mallory gone, but you're going to leave Taylor. You're going to leave Lala. You're going to leave Yash in this house.
[00:39:18] And then what if Taylor wins, uh, wins the blockbuster? It's Mallory versus Drew. Do they have the votes for Mallory versus Drew? They should. Right. Because, uh, again, Devin's Angela, um, Yash. Or, I mean, in terms of voting out Mallory, uh, that you're right.
[00:39:45] Devin's, or sorry, Drew versus Mallory is trickier. Um, and they do talk about this. Like they, there's a chance they don't because Yash would want Drew out. Um, if Yash has Taylor and Lala, that's three for Drew out. Uh, they need two more melody. Uh, oh, we're not sure. Uh, but probably Drew out. Um, I would. And then. Sorry, keep going.
[00:40:11] And then Barrett would be, uh, because, because Haley will vote with Devin's and Angela. Right. So Melody and Barrett become the swing votes here. Um, Melody could keep Drew if she decides to. Um, I, I feel like she would keep Mallory. Uh, or would be inclined to keep Mallory. But then there's Barrett. Um, and. Um, and. You know.
[00:40:40] Barrett was willing to cut Mallory once. He might be willing to cut her again. And it sucks because Barrett doesn't know right now. So, uh, yeah, that's going to be whoever's on tomorrow or, or the next day. We don't know when they're planning on. Well, I think they said they're thinking about telling him on Monday, but like. That is. Oh my God. It'll be Barrett's fault. It, whatever happens, it'll be Barrett's fault.
[00:41:08] All of this will be his fault for not going after that HOH. Yeah. So Melody and Mallory do talk. They hope that Haley's going to be nominated. That would be their ideal person to be evicted this week, which makes sense. It is probably the best they could get. Uh, they don't want to evict Yash. They think that they think it's between Haley and Yash and they don't want Yash to be evicted. They'd prefer Haley be evicted. So they're hoping that Haley is the nominee.
[00:41:37] They have no idea that it's one of them. Um, D asks Haley about Mallory, uh, and basically goads Haley into proposing the idea of, well, I would have nominated Mallory. Uh, she's the most dangerous person in that crew and she's the best, the next best girl competitor.
[00:42:02] Um, I guess may, I guess Lala's one, some stuff, but other than that, Mallory, um, and, uh, and therefore, she would be targeting Mallory. And D is like, that's a great idea, Haley. That's a great idea. Um, she talks to the cameras about how she is now targeting Mallory. She wants to, she's just not sure about what to tell Barrett. Uh, she needs to find an excuse for why she's targeting Mallory, why she's putting Mallory on the block at the very least.
[00:42:29] Um, and she's thinking about telling Barrett about the Yash bribe. Um, and, uh, as the reason for why she's doing what she's doing. Um, and I'm like, that'll go well. Uh, but then she realizes, um, oh wait, I should probably not include that, uh, I included Devin's and Angela in the bribe. I should probably only say that it's for me.
[00:42:54] Um, and, uh, it's like, okay, I still don't like this. I think this is in some ways worse. Now it's Barrett we're talking about, so who knows?
[00:43:06] But like, by telling Barrett that you did offer Yash a bribe to not put her on the block, but, but don't tell him about Angela and Devin's, um, you are kind of giving him half the story, which then allows him to potentially like talk to Yash about it at some point. And Yash can be like, oh no, silly boy. Uh, it was for Angela and Devin's as well.
[00:43:33] And it will become extremely apparent that he was being manipulated by Dee, or at least it should be. Whereas if she doesn't say anything at all, uh, like it's also apparent that he's been manipulated, but, but it also just feels like she was just hiding that from him rather than intentionally, you know, nitpicking information, uh, and piecemealing, uh, something together for him. A lie by omission is better than an outright lie. Is this what we're getting at, Taryn? I think so.
[00:44:03] Yeah. Uh, yeah. Yep. I think so. So this is kind of the plan for Barrett. Uh, she says also though that this, you know, this is not locked in. She just talked to Haley and if Haley leaks that she's renomming Mallory, she'll just renomm Haley instead. Um, so. Please. I've never wanted anything so badly. Uh, cause it like, I don't know because. Yeah, I guess.
[00:44:32] Cause I was, but Drew, because if you put up Haley, I'm just going over the vote, right? I'm just going over the vote. I feel like if you put up Haley, you don't lose anything except for, I guess if it's Haley versus Drew and they really don't want Haley to go. I guess. You kind of lose it. Like Haley is probably the most valuable piece on the board for the vets other than Barrett.
[00:44:52] Um, at this point, you know, Haley is their secret weapon because she's just so willing to like be a lightning rod and win competitions and probably not target them. But correct me if I'm wrong though. Didn't she tell D and Angela to their faces yesterday that she would put Devin's on the block? I could have sworn that's what she said. She said he'd have the votes and he wouldn't go anywhere, but I would definitely put him on the, on the block. He hasn't been on the block. She's just so easily controlled though. You know what I mean?
[00:45:21] Like, uh, like she can say what she wants at this point, but. But, you know, they can be like, ah, actually, do we think that's a good idea? Don't you think that Drew, who has said your name should be on the block instead? Or like, you know what I like? She's just so easily manipulated, especially when now that like Kamu wasn't there, Chuck isn't there. She's completely rudderless. She had a relationship with Taylor, but we'll talk about that. That's pretty much severed now.
[00:45:50] She has no relationship with Lala. Her closest person is Angela. Uh, now she's cuddling up to Dee. Um, she has very little relationship with any, like certainly not Melody Mallory. Uh, not really anything with Yash at this point who just put her on the block. She really has nowhere else to turn. Uh, not only for advice, uh, or allies, but also for advice for like, what should I do?
[00:46:16] And so, um, you know, I, I think that she's, you know, uh, she's essentially like, we all sort of saw this from the beginning. She's not the Mackenzie personality, but she's the Mackenzie piece on the board right now. Uh, of just like, she's just going to latch on to whoever grabs her and, uh, and pretty much just do what they say. That's what it seems like at least. Yeah. And if she does get to the end, everybody dislikes her. So she's not getting that vote. So, yeah. Yikes.
[00:46:47] When did it end last season? I actually, I was, I had that thought. I didn't look it up. Yeah. I feel like we, we were like, this is really late. It went on far too long. Uh, let me look. It looks like it ended at final six. Yeah. I was about to say six or five. Cause I remember Keanu went out like maybe just that next week. Cause Keanu went out at five. Right. I believe. Yeah.
[00:47:14] Like at, at the final seven round, they still had three noms. Um, so yeah, that's, that's ridiculous. Okay. Um, so yeah, it'll be a while, but that's again, it's why like at, I'd say final seven, there's three, there's still the blockbuster. If Yash were to win at final seven, um, he has six options to choose from and theoretically
[00:47:43] three of which are icons. So he nominates three of the other people. Mm hmm. And then if somebody wins a, uh, veto, the renom is forced to be an icon. Um, what if he won the veto? Oh, that's a good question. He probably wouldn't be able to use it. No. Cause his deal is not that he can't use a veto.
[00:48:12] I think he would be able to use it. This is, I mean, it's producer's choice. End of the day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I would say he's allowed to use the veto that he all, it depends on the, it depends on the wording. Actually, it depends on the wording of the deal made, but if they said you cannot nominate us, uh, then, um, then like there is an implicit, in my opinion, an implicit understanding
[00:48:36] that, you know, I can't nominate you means I can't choose to nominate you. Uh, but it doesn't have anything to do with using a veto, forcing a renom, um, or just there's no choice, but like the rules of the game supersede the rules of the power and there have to be three nominees. And if they are one of the options, it has to be them. Uh, he did not agree to throw an HOH if they're the only options.
[00:49:06] Um, so, uh, or to throw a veto or whatever. So, uh, so anyway, as early as, you know, final seven or then you could go to final eights. He's an HOH. There are, um, there's four people that are an option. The fourth person wins the veto, uses it, forces a vet renom. Um, so as early as final eights and they are currently at the final 11.
[00:49:32] So like final 10, final nine, uh, three weeks from now, he can technically maybe target them. Um, or he can win an HOH next week and then survive the following week. And then the fall. So final eight is the first time Yash can target the vets, whether or not he wins HOH. So it's like two, so like two weeks you said, but have we, has anybody sat down and did the math?
[00:50:01] Do we think that we're going to get something like a, like a double or something on this thousandth episode or anything like that? They usually don't do doubles. Uh, they haven't with the, with the blockbuster in play, but there is some kind of big twist. They're speculating in the house. Yeah. They're speculating in the house that there might be like a survivor week, meaning a janky week, a dire fest week. Um, so we could get something with that. And here's the other thing too.
[00:50:30] Uh, cause again, wording, they said that Yash can't nominate them on his next HOH, but they didn't say anything about like hamster wheel of death. They didn't say anything about like some weird wacko twist, uh, that does that not nominating, but he can target them in it. You know what I mean? So, uh, so I really think they are overconfident in their, in their, like, we've got Yash where we want him.
[00:51:00] I really think that they should still be looking at Yash as a potential target. Uh, again, Mallory is the more pressing threat because she can actively target them. Um, but, uh, but aside from that, I do think Yash, uh, is still somebody that they should be looking at. Uh, so, so, so interesting. Um, okay. So Angela and Lala talk.
[00:51:26] Angela advises Lala to propose to D that she wants to work with her and doesn't want to target her. Uh, the conversation has other components to it as well. Talking a little bit about honor society, talking a little bit about this, a little bit about that. Um, it's a little bit of confrontation, a little bit of, I'm sorry, or, and this is what I, I never meant you. I meant Devin's and so on and so forth. But ultimately, Angela gives her the advice to talk to D. So she does. Um, and she's proposes to D that they work together. D says, Mallory is my replacement nominee.
[00:51:56] Lala says, that's a good idea. One of the four should leave before jury. Lala would prefer it to be Melody. Um, over Mallory, uh, because obviously for many reasons, it makes more sense. She actually had talked to Taylor about this, that ideally Melody is the renom because Melody, the renom, she's easier to be in the blockbuster for Taylor. And it leaves Mallory in the game to continue to go after the bets. Uh, at least, you know, they didn't talk about that, but like that's a hidden benefit.
[00:52:24] Um, after this conversation though, uh, the one Angela had with Lala, Angela is down in the kitchen and this is going to kick off a whole sequence of events. Um, that I will, I will do my best to explain how it started, but, uh, I'm not going to give like, once we get to, this is basically how I get it. Once we get to a certain point, it doesn't really matter what's being said anymore. It's just, it's just a bunch of back and forth, but I will, uh, get you caught up to speed on exactly what's happening here.
[00:52:52] Angela's in the kitchen talking to Devin's about her conversation with Lala. Um, and Drew joins the conversation and she's just, she's kind of like complaining about the conversation with Lala and, um, and we don't hear all of it, but it's about the conversation with Lala about the honor society stuff and about Taylor. Drew joins and is like, Hey, like Taylor's in the bathroom. Just, you know, like careful. Uh, and at that point,
[00:53:22] Taylor comes out of the bathroom, walks right through the kitchen and says, I heard you by the way. Uh, and, and just like, Oh, all right. Well, I guess I should go talk to her. And so she follows her to follows her to the bedroom. She says, so I'll, I'll tell you to your face. Uh, since, you know, you heard anyway. Um, what I was saying was I was talking to Lala about honor society and how I feel like it's convenient that you guys bring up the honor society alliance.
[00:53:51] If you don't remember the honor society alliance was Angela D, uh, Lala and, uh, and Taylor. They made it a long time ago and it was barely a thing. Lala cared about it the most. Um, but it was the reason why Lala was keeping D and Angela safer than Devin's when they talked about the icons. Um, and so Angela is saying that I feel like it's convenient that you guys bring up the honor society when you need it.
[00:54:18] But then when you don't, and you know, you're HOH and talking about going after the icons or when Yash is HOH and he's putting us up, like nowhere to be seen. Um, and it never even honestly seemed like you wanted to be in it, Taylor. Uh, and Taylor's like, I, I, did I not say I wanted to be in it? Did I not agree to the alliance? Did I not like participate in our conversations? Uh, and Angela's like, you just didn't seem very excited about it. It seems like Lala was always kind of dragging you in. She's like, what do you, what do you want me to do?
[00:54:47] You want me to be like over the top? You want me to be like, Oh, I'm so excited to be in the alliance, Angela. Um, and, uh, like my, my words aren't good enough for you. Uh, and Angela's like, goes on about like how she feels like they've just not really been working together. And, uh, and Taylor starts talking through like, well, here's my perspective. She starts talking through the entire game from her perspective.
[00:55:14] Uh, and, um, and kind of like just, you know, runs through each week and gets to the point where she's like, and then, and now today you're saying I'm not a social or strategic player. Uh, and, and I'm talking to Devin's and, and I'm like, yo, Devin's, why didn't you protect me the way I protected you? And he says it's because he heard I was in alliance with Melody and Mallory, which I'm not.
[00:55:40] Uh, and, and people are complaining about like me being in bed all day. And it's just like, they're saying I, I, I'm not even like a player of this game that I'm, uh, polarizing. I have anxiety. All right. I feel like I can't trust anybody in this damn house. I'm damned if I do. And I'm damned if I don't. And it makes me sad. Every person I've tried to align with has blown me up.
[00:56:06] Every time I try to align with somebody, I have a thing with Devin's and Kamu. I get spit in my face. I can't say anything. I can't do anything. I can't even be in my pod without people talking shit about it. And it's just like, what are we doing here? Um, and Lala apparently told me that you were asking her about me being in alliance with Haley. Uh, and this is where the con, this is where we get into more stuff.
[00:56:35] Uh, but like, this is, I think the core, the heart of what has been talked about, right? Like, uh, people have been complaining that Taylor doesn't want to be there. All she does is stay in bed all day. She's lazy. She, she doesn't participate when we've been talking about how Taylor was one of the most active from the bottom players, constantly trying to make alliances, uh, and them just kind of like, you know, uh, being like, maybe sure.
[00:57:04] Let's, let's think about it. Um, she's absolutely been a very active player in this game. Um, but then when, you know, things blow up and they betray her or she, they, she gets caught doing stuff or whatever it is. Uh, she becomes the outcast on the bottom and she's less talkative. Um, now she doesn't want to participate. Now she's lazy. Now she's in bed all day.
[00:57:30] Um, and she just feels like, like, what, what am I allowed to do in this house? Uh, like, like why is everything I do subject to scrutiny? Yeah. Yeah. This is, uh, this was hard for me. This was hard for me watching this live. Like, um, if you haven't go, um, and, and watch this clip of Taylor, uh, basically breaking down to Angela. Uh, I believe, uh, BB Lyons veto has it. I believe Tombs clipped it.
[00:57:59] I think BB gossip, uh, might've clipped it, but whatever you do, just go and watch this, this clip. Um, and it'll, it'll erase all doubt. If you're, if you think that, um, implicit bias and racism and microaggressions haven't been going on in the house because Taylor lays it out flawlessly, everything that she has endured in the house. And more importantly, how are you telling her that she doesn't play the game?
[00:58:26] She doesn't participate while also Angela calling her one of the winner materials. Uh, she, she, she's like a Chelsea. She's like a, an Ashley type. Oh, very, very ham-fisted there. Angela telling her, uh, you have, you have, I know you have alliances elsewhere. I know you do. And, but I'm not going to tell you the only Alliance that Taylor has had that we know that has been named is honor society. Literally. That is the only one.
[00:58:56] Oh yeah. And the primaries. I forgot about the primaries. Yes. So it's like, but you can have 8 million alliances, Angela, but Taylor can't, Taylor can't have one Alliance. Taylor can't go and lay in her bed because you guys, she doesn't feel like participating with you guys because every time she does, like she says, she gets closed down. Like the fact that Taylor feels like she has to walk on eggshells in this house is very, it's insidious, you know?
[00:59:25] And even I, at the beginning of the season was like, Taylor's, Taylor's doing good. She's, she's playing, she's an active player. I, I, I almost tweeted out a few weeks ago. Wow. I'm actually finally glad that, uh, when they originally started, uh, targeting Taylor, it was because she was an active player against them. I was like, well, at least they're not just targeting her for existing. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm glad they actually understand that she's, she's coming for them, you know?
[00:59:52] But since then it's just been, it's been worse and worse. And the discussions about her have been worse. And she has been giving as much as she's been getting right. Like her, I think her and Dee clearly don't have a working relation, didn't have a relationship where they particularly liked each other and their tit for tat talking about each other behind each other's backs. I was like, that's big brother. You know what I'm saying? That's kind of like, that's what you get.
[01:00:19] And, but I think I also made the mistake of thinking like Taylor was strong enough to handle what she was going through. And I think seeing last night how she was talking about, I'll walk into a room and everybody will just be quiet and all that stuff, you know, and her breaking down about not wanting to be there anymore. I was like, oh, this is affecting her more. And that's quite often what happens with black women. You think that they can take and they can take and they can take and, and they can get beat down and punished and they can take it because they have to look strong because
[01:00:48] even Taylor crying in this, in this moment right now, Angela goes and leaves and says, oh, she tried to manipulate me with her emotions. Pot meat, fucking kettle. I am so sorry. Angela is the last person to say that anybody can manipulate people with emotions when she is the queen of tears and emotions and don't be mad at me and give me a hug. Like all of this stuff. Taylor cannot do anything in this house without it being blown out of proportion.
[01:01:18] And Taryn, I think you did such a good job yesterday of really putting it in perspective of how Rome gets blindsided and everybody's like, it's just a game, man. You know, we'll see on the outside. Kamu last week, Kamu, Kamu gets blown up. Everybody is still treating Kamu all nicely. They don't even tell them that Kamu's leaving until, you know, prior and they walk out.
[01:01:45] But then Jason gets tea party, you know, Jason is nobody talks to Jason. Nobody is, is actively trying to help him through that. You know, Lala and Taylor are being poked at and prodded and they're going to blow up. They're going to blow up. And yeah, they have because they've been poked and prodded. You know what I'm saying? Like you can't try and get a reaction out of somebody and then be mad at them when they
[01:02:13] get a reaction or be like, see, we, we, we told you, we told you. It's like, well, yes, that's what happens normally. What happens normally is if you poke somebody, they get a reaction. Remember when you guys poked Angela and she got her, she had a reaction and y'all let her have that big reaction. And then it had blown over by the next week. But that's not what happens when Lala or Taylor have a reaction. You know what I'm saying? When Lala and Taylor have a reaction, it's the worst thing ever. They're the worst people in the world. We hate them. We hate them all. You know what I'm saying?
[01:02:42] It's just a difference. It's a difference in how, how they can do the exact same thing that other people in this house do, but be treated completely different. You know what I'm saying? So it's not always outright. It's not always in your face, but it's insidious. It's implicit. It's implicit. And Taryn, like I said, you did a good job of saying we have to have these conversations because if you don't have these conversations, then it's nothing's going to change. You know what I'm saying?
[01:03:08] And they need to be open to these conversations when they come out of the house. You know what I'm saying? So it was, oh, it was tough for me, Taryn. I was like, I was, I woke up mad. I was like, thank you so much for at least this first hour being very like fun. Like we normally like it too. But I, I, it's, it's tiring. I'm, I'm tired. And I'm so happy that I do have this platform.
[01:03:36] So I can talk about all of this, but it's draining, man. It truly is. It's truly draining to keep having to watch this stuff and keep having to like go to bat. You know, it's like, just let, can we just play big brother? Can we, can we just play big brother and not have to have all of this? And it's like, no, because like you said, this is, this is a microcosm of society and it, it's never going to change unless society does.
[01:04:04] So yeah, it was rough. And I am about to cuss Haley out. So I'll let you, I'll let you go first. Um, yeah, I mean, listen, at the end of the day, cause there are certainly a lot of people who did not like what I had to say yesterday that did, they do not like this stuff being brought up. But like at the end of the day, there's just probably a very fundamental disagreement that
[01:04:29] those people have with me when it comes to, uh, the way we see society. Because at the end of the day, whether or not there is a specific comment to point to or word to point to, uh, this just exists. We just exist in a, in a racist society, right? Like it is fundamental to the structures that the society rests on. Uh, and that ha that's not changing anytime soon.
[01:04:59] And it just exists all around us. And so what happens is on big brother, we see some of the results of it, uh, whether or not it's, you know, uh, a slur here or a bad comment here or a mistreatment here. Uh, there's varying degrees of it, obviously, but it exists all around us. That is what, uh, I believe, uh, and I believe it to be the truth. And, uh, and so we talk about it when we see it because we see it on big brother because
[01:05:28] it's, it's everywhere. Um, and, uh, and that doesn't mean that it is a witch hunt, uh, at least not from here. Um, it is just from my, again, I, I talk about this every season when we witness this kind of behavior or any kind of behavior that, uh, I call out the behavior more than I call out the person, because I think that it's worth talking about the behavior and talking about, uh, how it shouldn't be happening.
[01:05:55] And yeah, as Mari said, hopefully the people who display the behavior are willing to have conversations about it too. Um, because it's useful, it's useful to see it happen and to see like, okay, maybe I don't need to be saying something explicitly racist to be participating in a structure that supports racist outcomes. Um, maybe that's something I should think about for myself. Uh, maybe that's something that other people should think about.
[01:06:21] Uh, and if you don't like this as part of the live feed updates or part of the podcasts, I'm sorry. You know, uh, it's just, it's just something that is so relevant to the gameplay and the events of what's, of what, what's happening on our screens. Uh, and to ignore it is to close your eyes and shut your ears and pretend it doesn't exist. And then to just go like, okay, well, these things are just happening. They just happen to happen.
[01:06:49] And I think Mari, your point too, about like, you know, if you poke someone enough, uh, cause some people, some people might say, well, Kamu took it better, you know, like, uh, Rome took it better. Uh, that's why they didn't get piled on. Um, but it's, again, it's, it's like, who are you to say who takes it better or worse? Like people have different life experiences. Some people are used to getting poked even before they get in the house.
[01:07:14] Uh, some people have different reactions because they've had different life experiences and, uh, and those things also influence things just because it's not how you would have reacted because you would have been, uh, you know, whatever strong enough or whatever you think you are that would cause you to react that way. It doesn't mean that everyone can. It doesn't mean that they deserve to be ganged up on, uh, in response. Yeah.
[01:07:40] Anyway, the argument continues and, uh, and Taylor says, I heard that you said that Lala told me that you said that you asked Lala about me being in alliance with Haley. And Angela says, that's a lie. That's not true. Uh, that is not true. And I, I don't recall this conversation. I think that Angela is probably telling the truth here that she did not specifically
[01:08:10] go to Lala asking about Taylor being in alliance with Haley, but she definitely talked to Lala about Taylor's relationship with Haley, which she does admit. And then, then Taylor says, well, Haley also came to me and said, you asked her if there was an alliance. And Angela says, no, I didn't. But that did happen. Uh, Angela did talk to Haley about being in alliance. Um, and, and Haley, this is pretty loud by the way, in the bedroom.
[01:08:37] Um, and so Haley hears her name and she jumps into the conversation. Um, and she's like, I did not say, I did not say any, what are you talking about with me? And she's like, well, you, you said that Angela asked you about an alliance. She said, I didn't say it like that. I didn't say names. Um, and, uh, she's like, you did say names. She said that Angela asked you names of people you were aligned with. And we know that Angela did. She literally said them to Melody and Mallory.
[01:09:06] Uh, and, uh, she, so she kind of denies it at first, but then she kind of admits she did tell Taylor, but she, not that she named names. Uh, she's just, I don't, I just don't know where this crazy is coming from. Um, and Taylor said, you jumped into a conversation that was like 15 minutes in. What do you, this is a heated exchange. What do you mean you don't get where it's coming from? Uh, Haley's, you were lying about me. I was not lying in the cotton, the feeds had cut a little bit and they come back.
[01:09:34] And at this point they're talking about, uh, whether or not they agreed to work together. And, uh, and Taylor's like, you said all of branch. And Haley's like, that doesn't mean work together. And she's like, do you understand what all of branch means? Uh, and, uh, and then, and this is where things just completely devolve into just back and forth. This is how it starts, but it just, it just becomes one of those things where there, the argument sort of, uh, perpetuates itself from this point forward.
[01:10:04] Because Haley's so freaking stupid. Like, and I, Taylor was telling Angela, let's grab her. Talking about Lala because, cause Angela saying, well, Lala said this. And Taylor said, well, let's, let's grab her. Let's grab her. You know what I'm saying? Let's, let's grab her. And then Haley walks her simple behind into this conversation, talking about all of branch and coming in to be like, you bullied me for a week.
[01:10:33] And why would I extend an olive branch to you when you were being mean to me? She literally inserted herself into this argument to make herself the victim just for her to be like, well, I don't want to be in the drama. I'm, I don't like drama. If you're bringing me into the drama, Haley, you brought yourself in the drama. Haley even brought herself into the drama when they were looking for Drew's hairbrush earlier in the day, because Haley was the person who went through, through Taylor's stuff. And she didn't just like poke around in Haley and Taylor's stuff.
[01:11:02] She went all through it, which is why Taylor, she got up in the bed, got up in Taylor's bunk, looked all up in Taylor's bunk, looked all up in Taylor's, her, her stuff. Like dog inserts herself into everything and then wants to be like, it's not me. I didn't do it. I'm such a nice person. No, you're not. You're a horrible person. And you insist, insist, insist on being the victim, which is why you think you're going to get the time capsule every other week.
[01:11:32] You didn't get it. That should tell you something. But no, it takes one wall yeller. Well, one audience yeller in the crowd. And she thinks she's beloved. I want her out before jury so badly. I want her out before jury so badly. I, anyways, it was dumb and the retails were even dumber. So I had to log off, Taryn, because I was, I was angry tweet, angry tweeting on B-Sky last night. And I was like, I can't, I can't do this.
[01:11:59] I'm going to say some stuff and it's going to be, Rob's not going to like it. So. At some point D comes in and she's like, guys, I just feel like you need to like chill. This is exactly what they want. And they all kind of look at D and they're like, what do you mean? This is what they want. Like, what is it? She's like, I never mind, never mind. Okay. But yes, they eventually break up and they start doing the retails. Lala's talking to Taylor.
[01:12:29] Haley's talking to D up in the HOH room. And it was, there was actually a really funny part of this because if you were watching the Lala Taylor side of the feeds, it, it cuts in the middle of it to, to both feeds being Haley and D and it's, it's something along these lines. Lala just said to me about Taylor. I'm sorry. You don't understand what an olive branch is.
[01:12:57] I was like, no, it just doesn't make sense. Like her being, her being in an alliance and I don't believe nothing telling me how she feels, how she feels about, um, I don't believe it. It's just like the, the, the, like the beads cutting between the two retails. It was horrible. All of the retails were just horrible.
[01:13:25] I was like, usually you can listen to it. Usually you can listen to the retail and get a more succinct recap of how the argument went without all the like nonsense of the back and forth. But the retails were more convoluted than the actual argument was. And then you had people like drew chiming in saying stuff like he didn't even realize he said, he's like, Oh, Lala and Taylor are down there.
[01:13:49] Uh, two V one and Angela Lala wasn't, I think I was like in the bathroom or the, I don't know where she was, but she was nowhere near, unless I missed it too. But she was like, yeah, she was nowhere near the scene. And, and Drew's then Drew's, Drew started saying some stuff too. Um, it's, it was a night y'all. It was a night. Yes.
[01:14:13] So, uh, so, so Taylor's talking about, and Taylor is like still obviously in that place where she was like, what am I supposed to do? I'm Dan. If I do identify, I don't. Um, and she is like, I, I just want to go. I just don't want to be here anymore. Lala. Um, and Lala is like, listen, you need to suck it up. Like you always tell me to suck it up. Um, and, uh, and I, and I'm not exaggerating. Like that is how Lala is talking.
[01:14:43] Um, and I just don't want to be here. And she's like, Taylor, get it together. Uh, you need to go up there and make peace with D. You need to, you need to say, you need to like talk about, uh, and she's like, okay. Okay. Like, this is what you always tell me to do. Um, and so, uh, so Taylor does eventually go up.
[01:15:09] Lala goes up first and tries to like, uh, like talk through the situation. And, uh, and then Taylor goes up and, and she's like trying to clear the air, but it's still a little tense. And, um, you know, it, it's really like, I think the, the ultimate resolution to this is not that they've actually resolved anything, but more so they've all kind of like collectively agreed that they're sick of the arguing and that they're just going to kind of like pretend
[01:15:39] to understand each other and move forward is kind of the, the end of this. Yeah. Yeah. It, yeah. Because when Lala goes up there, of course, Angela, Haley, I believe drew were up there and Lala asked like, Hey, can you guys clear the room for a second? And so we can talk to like D and Angela and also, also, sorry, not to backtrack a little bit, but Angela again saying like, Oh, honor society wasn't real.
[01:16:09] It really was real on Lala's HOH when y'all had forgotten the name and Lala was like, Oh, y'all are, y'all are good. And, and Taylor too, again, protecting Devin when she shouldn't have had, when she should have on Lala's HOH. And that's what I mean. Lala and Taylor, they got, got, they got. God, they should not, they should not have placed their, their trust in D and Angela.
[01:16:32] And, and in that, that, um, alliance, but for Angela to then be like, Oh, but it was never really an alliance after it had, you know, it's already benefited us. So now it's not an alliance. And, but this is all your fault, right? This is, this is your fault. It like, it's that, it's that portion of it. That pisses me off because it's like, you're, you're trying to use it to your benefit. Oh, like you did. You know what I'm saying? Like, like you did. Um, they're like, but we went up on Yasha's HOH.
[01:17:02] Taylor said, I tried, but Yash was, um, you know, Yash had his sights set up, his mind set up. And we all know that it was Kamu who, who had the biggest impact on, on Yash's HOH. So again, this also kind of falls flat a little bit to me, but I know a lot more than anybody in the house, but like Angela and D just say, you didn't, you didn't want to be in the law. You just say, yep. Thank you. But now we don't need it anymore because to be like, it never happened.
[01:17:31] It was never a thing. Y'all you, we never talked. Like, what are you talking about? Angela, y'all have been, you, Angela has been up Lala's butt for the past few weeks ever since while I won that HOH. So it's just like, it's stupid. You're trying to gaslight everybody around you that that wasn't a thing when it was, you just don't want to honor it. It's fine. There's no honor in the honor society. Yeah.
[01:17:56] Uh, so this, this all, you know, again, it eventually kind of fizzles out. Um, and, uh, and, and the, and the night kind of slowly. It's going to close down and we mostly are just going to get some, uh, like Malady does check in on Taylor and, uh, stuff like that, but it's mostly going to be, uh, fap, uh, into the nights.
[01:18:20] Um, and they're talking a bit about like the events of the nights and also like moving forward. There's like a little bit of a flirtation. There's been individual conversations among them about potentially Mallory has talked to Barrett about going after the icons. Um, but, uh, as a group of four of them, they haven't like really talked about it. So there's kind of flirting around this idea now as a group, obviously they want to keep, uh, Drew.
[01:18:49] Drew this week. They are still under the assumption that Haley is the likeliest renom and, uh, and that maybe she should be the one to go. Um, and then, uh, Malady and Mallory kind of, uh, kind of leave and it's Drew and Barrett for a while late into the night. Um, and it's an interesting conversation. Sorry, I needed to sneeze.
[01:19:15] And I was trying to find a place to pause so that Mar could talk over it, but I couldn't quite get there. Okay. No, you're only human, Mr. Robot. Um, so Drew and Barrett talk about, uh, Drew is a little bit concerned about the icons because when Drew was up there talking about renom, um, uh, Devin's joined at one point and he,
[01:19:42] uh, like Drew would literally say like, I don't think Yash would put up Mallory. And Devin's be like, what'd you say about Mallory? What'd you say about Mallory? That she wouldn't put up Yash? And he's like, no, no, no, no. Yash wouldn't put up Mallory. Like, I think Mallory would put up Yash. It's like, oh, well, Yash, but you don't think Mallory, you think Mallory and Yash are working together though. Like, oh, I mean, I think they're close. Like they're trying to find the thing to latch onto, to be like, oh, Drew, you think we should target Mallory?
[01:20:12] Um, and so Drew is like, do you think they're concerned about Mallory? And Barrett's like, I don't think so. I don't think, I think it's fine. Um, and Drew is like, okay, well, and this is a long conversation, mind you. So we're, we're kind of hitting the highlights here. Uh, but Drew is like, I, I think we need to start thinking about FAP and they call it FAP now. It's just less funny. Um, FAP versus crossovers. Mm-hmm. Which should we go with?
[01:20:41] And obviously Barrett, who had kind of been sticking up for the icons in the larger FAP conversation, is like, not really advocating one way. Uh, the way that Drew is like kind of hoping him to. Um, but Drew's kind of like, like Drew, this is seemingly, I can't say opened his eyes. I think that like, Drew, who we've complained from the very beginning, does not see that the icons don't really care about him or like him.
[01:21:10] Um, you know, then got nominated by Haley, then got told that D was trying to get him evicted, then still was loyal and really wanted like all of Moshpit to make it to the end. And he would choose FAP over crossovers once the Moshpit made it to the end. Now has been actively nominated by D. Uh, and he's kind of like, like his eyes are like squinty open, you know, like, like he
[01:21:38] woke up in the middle of the night and he's got to go to the bathroom, but he doesn't want to like open his eyes all the way. Like, um, and so he's thinking, I don't know if we can go, I don't know if we can go to final seven with Moshpit. I think that maybe we need to make a move sooner than that. Um, and, uh, and Barrett's like, yeah, yeah, probably.
[01:22:06] It's not like it'll be like one to one, you know, like, it's not like it'll be like all, you know, target all, it will probably like lose a person here or there. Um, and, uh, Drew's like, I just, honestly, as much as I loved Evans, he's so cutthroat. Like he would target us in a heartbeat and he's right. He's very, very, very right. Uh, and exactly.
[01:22:33] And so Drew's like, honestly, at some point, I feel like we need to tell Melody and Mallory about the crossovers. Um, and honestly, I really, I like, why did we tell them about that? Like, why did we do that? That was so stupid. Uh, now they have that to drop on us. I think we need to tell them about crossovers at some point.
[01:22:53] Um, and so basically the point of this conversation is that Drew, I say predictably should be predictable, but hasn't been so far is now kind of like aware that he needs to really be working with FAP against the icons. Uh, he's not quite like as anti them as Melody and Mallory have been like, let's do it next week. Let's do it this week.
[01:23:22] Not that they're actually trying. Um, and, and let me tell you too, Drew is like, ideally we throw the HOH to Yash and he does it for us. Yes. They kept saying that. And I'm like, oh my God. And they don't know that Yash can't do it. It's like, everybody's afraid to make this move. Everybody is afraid. Even if Yash could do it, you need to do it. Do it yourself.
[01:23:53] Yeah. Nope. Nope. Nope. They want Yash to do it. The big question is, okay, Drew has kind of maybe a little bit opened his eyes, but he's also on the block this week, uh, and we'll remain on the block and Barrett is Barrett. So will Barrett talk to D about this conversation? Will Barrett rat Drew out?
[01:24:23] He has done so a bunch of times in the past. In fact, he's gone as far as to basically lie and exaggerate things that Drew has done in order to win favoritism. Um, so he might just do it in the first place. Now he has not ratted Mallory out when Mallory has been talking about going after the icons. Um, but he certainly could rat Drew up.
[01:24:47] And on top of that, even if he isn't inclined to immediately, when D talks about putting Mallory up on the block and potentially targeting Mallory, he could, even if he wasn't planning to rat Drew out, he could then rat Drew out in order to protect Mallory, uh, by saying Drew is actually the one you need to be worried about, not Mallory. Uh, so there's a lot of things that could come of this conversation. Obviously in this conversation, they reiterate their final two.
[01:25:16] They still are the jugglers. They still have a final two. It's just that Barrett, I don't think has ever been remotely loyal to that. So, uh, so keep this in mind as well. Uh, something to pay attention to when it comes to Barrett and Drew. Yeah. And, and it's just like, they're sitting here planning for a future that wake up is not, it's never going to happen because if anything, if this goes through, like if Mallory goes
[01:25:45] up on the block, one of them is going home like that, I mean, that's what I'm thinking. Uh, I guess unless Mallory wins the blockbuster, then you do get rid of Taylor here. I don't know. It's just like, they, they have no clue about the Mallory not renom. So for Barrett, there is a, a, what one and 30 in the ring chance. I don't know. I don't do math that he might be picking between like his two number ones on Thursday.
[01:26:14] And we, I don't even know who we picked because I'm at twice during this season. He's been okay with letting either one of them go. So, so I, I guess this week we'll get a little bit more clarity as to like where he would go in that situation as well. I really think it's whoever D tells him to. I was just about to say. Like what that means. Right. Yeah.
[01:26:38] But I guess, I guess the point is that like he, because he has information, he might be able to sway what D tells him to do. You know, like if he tells him to go against Mallory, but he'd prefer Drew, he might be able to throw Drew under the bus enough for her to tell him to do Drew instead. And then he'll be able to do Drew. That makes sense because of course his game is not his own. I, I'm still riding for the bloom.
[01:27:04] I still think that I'm still hoping that, um, once we've cleared out some of these icons, he can kind of slip in and slip under and, and, you know, make, make some moves, but we'll see his position is just getting worse and worse as, uh, as time goes by with him not seizing his own power. So, um, the passive gameplay, it will probably catch up to him sooner or later, but I don't,
[01:27:31] I, I just don't see him like going anytime soon, but that's just me. We will see anything else from yesterday you wanted to bring up Mari. No, I think, uh, I, I think I've ranted enough. Um, like I said, I would like, I would like to keep this job. So I'm, I'm not going to say anything, but, uh, you know, if you follow me over there on
[01:27:57] blue sky at Mari talks too much, you will see a lot of, of that, all of that. Um, yeah. And also I, I made this really nice cup Taryn before all that happened. And now I'm a little pissed. Like I was like, it, it's supposed to be a time capsule of this season that I am now not enjoying. So, well, it was a time capsule of a time where you were enjoying the season. Yes.
[01:28:27] Yes. And you can get it too. At my website, look at my, on my, my page, Mari crafts too much. That big cartel.com. If you want that. But that's right. Well, uh, I did stream, uh, a couple of times on Friday on Patreon. If you're interested in checking out those streams, those live feed streams, uh, that big brother two project that talked about in the off season on my Patreon. If you stick around, it's, uh, it's going to be real fun.
[01:28:57] I think. Um, and, uh, of course, tomorrow morning, 11 AM Eastern. I'll update you on everything that happens today on the big brother 28 live feeds tonight. I'll be live on my page on Twitch and YouTube talking or watching tonight's two hour episode of big brother 28. We'll also be live after the episode with a podcast. So check that out. Um, and, uh, and, uh, my, uh, you can, you can listen to my bad story on YouTube as well. It's, uh, enjoying my misery.
[01:29:25] Um, that's what I got for you here today. Thank you all so much for joining us. I will see all of you next time.
