[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_10] And it's a late night. You know, we're after Survivor. Survivor had its two-hour premiere. The know-it-alls just wrapped up, and we are here to talk about silly big brother. And it was quite a silly one tonight. With me to talk through it, it's Kirsten. How are you doing, Kirsten?

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_11] I'm doing great, Taryn. I'm so excited to be here. You actually unleashed the pharaoh's curse and brought the mess magnets right to your doorstep.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_10] Oh boy. Well, what an episode we have to talk about tonight. We had an Egyptian-themed episode complete with Egyptian-themed music. An Egyptian-themed veto competition.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_10] And what might be the silliest and goofiest eviction I've perhaps ever seen.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_11] Like, someone in production thought, hey, you know what kind of sounds like eviction? Egyptian. And someone was like, we're running with it. Let's go.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_02] Really? That's crazy that you think they gave it that much thought. Like, in my mind they said, oh, we need to get rid of these, like, sarcophagus. How do we do that? Let's give it to BB. They'll figure it out.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_10] We've got these sarcophagi that are hanging around that we've drawn on with Sharpie.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02] What do we do with them? You know, it was like, it was like in the back, back, back of some CBS show. And then they said, no, we're going to make it the main character. Give it to that parking lot show.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_11] But can I say what the dumbest thing of all of it was?

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_09] Please.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_11] When they go, everybody put on your Osiris irises for safety goggles. They didn't even do anything to try to zhuzh up the safety goggles. No, because like, if you're going to steal, right?

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02] Luna Lovegood's glasses are right there, right? Like, let's do something. Kaleidoscope them bitches, like something. Damn. They said, no, here's your blue light glasses and they will count as your safety ones.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_09] It's like this with this dramatic eviction, right?

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_10] Where the showmans of the season is going to get split up by Daddy Devins. And he stands up there with his goofy ass glasses. There you go. And. Sorry.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_11] And like, the sarcophagi were made out of, I think, construction paper because they crumpled with, like, you couldn't have done it with a finger tap. Hell no.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02] Did you see the dust? Who had to clean it up? Taylor?

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_09] That hammer looked heavy.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_02] I thought it looked like paper mache. Really? They were doing a Thor crossover. Because why was it, like, upside down like that? Like, oh, Loki did a, you know, time jump. A TVA is here, baby.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_11] D holding it sideways. I was like, I know that girl's never had to do, like, home repairs. And I love that for her.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_02] No, they, like, it's too much. It's too much.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_10] All right. Well, I'm sure there's more to say on that. But we actually started this episode concluding the cliffhanger that I forgot existed from the previous episode, which was quite anticlimactic, in my opinion. I just, like, really just, like, wait, what was? Oh, right. He was maybe going to nominate Drew, I guess. Oh, he did nominate Drew.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_11] We've lived 10 years since all of this actually happened in real time. And they expect us to care about the nominations on Wednesday, September 23rd? No. I don't get, like, what are we doing?

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. The fact that, again, they have no spoilers. It's just they have speedrun a whole week. And then they said, great, we're going to speedrun it for you freaks that watch the feed, all of us, feeds. But we're going to pause it and actually move it in 0.5 speed for you casuals. Like, why? What's the reason?

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_10] Honestly, I think it's just they didn't have enough time in the previous episodes. They just had to push it to this one.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_11] And this is the only Wednesday episode that's not 90 minutes. And we got conclusion of nominations, an individually timed veto competition, the veto ceremony, and the eviction in an hour. So why are we ever getting 90 minutes, truly?

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_10] Don't forget, we also got a gray hair segment.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_11] Okay. I, okay, it is very fitting to me that someone would get their first gray hair in the Big Brother house. I think it probably happens to a lot of people.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Listen, fine. To me, that was just a representation. Like, finding your first gray hair is just like, you just know your life is done. You know what I mean? I can't relate, actually. I haven't had one yet. Period.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_11] Because I have. And on this black hair, it shows up. I, it's the way I'm so paranoid that they're going to show up, but I won't be able to tell because my hair is lighter. And whenever I get my haircut, I'm like, are there any grays? Are there any bald spots? And they're like, shut up, you freak. You're normal. It's fine. There's no gray hairs yet. Oh my God.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_10] It did make me think because I've never like, I've never looked. So I'm like, I wouldn't, I don't think I'd know. You know what I mean?

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_11] Taryn's next dream, finding his gray hair. I think though, like, it's very normal for grays to start, I think, especially on men at like the temples and like in the front. So I think you probably would notice because it would happen on like the shorter hairs on the side of your head that you might see more. Like out and about. I don't know. [00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02] I think he'd be like this gray hair Vince gave me. This was Keanu. This was Dee. This was Drew. Like you got to start naming that.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_11] Taryn's actually been just fermenting his whole head ever since Vince was in the big brother house. Just white. He has the same hair as Dr. Will actually under all that. Oh my God.

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_10] Oh, well, Drew, uh, Drew might be getting his own gray hairs. He goes up on the block here and, uh, and we pretty quickly get to the veto. I mean, we do have what I thought was actually the best part of the episode, which was this fun little segment of like, you know, they didn't trust me with melody. And they shouldn't have, like, I would have vetoed melody, but, uh, still.

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_10] And then like talking to Devin's being like, I'd want to take Drew and then talking to Dee being like, he shouldn't trust me after saying you should trust me. I thought that whole sequence was very fun.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02] And is what I think was funniest for me is like, this is the first time they actually shouldn't trust Drew because every other time they've been dogging him out bad. And he's just literally like a golden retriever been like, but no, I'll do anything. I'll lay my whole game out, which later we find out all the nonsense he's done. But the first time this man is actually standing on business and they're like, yep, we knew it all along. No, you didn't stop.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_11] I think when I was on with Mari Forth Forth and Asia, Mari Forth Forth made a comment of like Drew's like a dog that's been beaten that just keeps coming back. And then now this is when he would have been the dog that like bites like that finally comes back and gets you.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_02] You know, those people that are like pit bulls are really my pit bull that, you know, has been actually I know this pit bull. That's what I'm talking about it. Oh, my God. Oh, it's been through so much is the sweetest thing ever. And then finally had its last accident. And now do not go close to that pit bull. Oh, my God. No, this is like legit. My like really good friend's pit bull. That's why. But that's what this reminds me of. Poor Pump. She's a tripod. It's sad. She's a tripod.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_02] But we call it that and we love Pump. I'm serious.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_10] Oh, well, well, we do get to the veto competition. Yeah. And this, you know, this. What are we doing?

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_11] This was worse.

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_10] Barrett sized mummy that they need to drag through.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_11] I know we talked about it on Sunday. And we were like, wow, this is horrible. And then when I actually saw it, I was like, this is worse. Like even the difference between Drew and Devin's carrying it was crazy. Drew's basically just like, perfect. I could carry it out over my head pretty much. But to see the smaller woman doing it, I'm actually shocked that Devin was able to be second place with how big it was.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_10] Devin did better than I had realized. So kudos to her. But yeah, I mean, like Drew's height gives him a massive advantage because he has more space to carry the tall thing. Like for say Melody, who's like a foot and a half shorter, like, you know, she has to carry it by like a lot lower on the mummy itself in order to keep it off the ground in the same way.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_10] And he's also then got like a foot and a half of extra wingspan to like span the mummy, which is incredibly useful for maneuvering. And so like, obviously, it's not a very fair competition. Some people don't care about fair. What should matter in terms of fairness is that like competitions are more interesting when anybody can win them.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_10] But the biggest sin for this competition from my end is that whether or not it was close, it was dreadfully just boring to watch. Like there was no tension at all. And this is how I felt, at least, because I was hoping at least when I watched the Big Brother 27 version of this where they were like throwing the thing under the lasers.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_10] That was kind of a fun competition to watch to the degree that any Big Brother competition can be fun to watch. Because like there were things actually happening. Vince was throwing. Keanu was doing his Keanu thing. And it was like, you know, they were physically moving under the lasers. They had to like do this. What I just watched was just, it was just a bunch of people.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_02] Oh, perfect. Yes. Pillows back, baby.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_11] Oof. And like. I fear it was hard to even tell visually what things they couldn't hit with the mummy, you know? Like they had to put in an effect after to show us.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_02] Well, why did they say we're not going to. Terrence. OK. Karen, you're too tall to have such a hard time with the mummy.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_10] I'm just watching people slowly walk through a thing as they carry a thing, listening to the Roblox oof over and over. There's not even like a proper counter half the time. There's no urgency because it's not really timed. They're not the ones themselves who are physically hitting the wires. So like what am I. Yeah, they have to they have to like highlight it.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_10] And it's just it's so like this would be so much more interesting without the giant dummy. Like just watching people have to go like physically step over and duck under is a lot more interesting to watch.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_02] But then that gives smaller people an advantage. And we know Big Brother only cares about one.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_10] It's just they. Yeah, I mean, they added this thing that made it less fair and significantly, in my opinion, less interesting at the same time. And listen, if it was like a race through an obstacle course of wires that if you hit them, it still probably would have been something physical enough for a physical person to win. But at least that would have been a little more visually interesting to actually watch.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_10] I really I personally I thought this was the worst competition of the season to watch so far. I love the set. I thought the set was cool.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, me too.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_10] But watching two full segments of OOF was quite OOF.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_02] When they first opened, I was excited. Right. Like when Devin's first like walked out, I said, oh, this is exciting. This could be something. And then they started doing it. And I said, no, as a short person, impossible. I'm like Taylor at least started punching the dummy. Like I'm just throwing it like at one point because what what am I going to carry? It's outrageous. Like I would love to know the height and weight of that thing.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_11] It's the way I know.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_10] He was taller than Drew, so it's at least like six. It's ridiculous.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_11] No, I know in my heart I could give that mummy a piggyback ride straight to the end. No fault. It would be great to be. But Lizzie, you couldn't give me and I'm the shortest. I gave you a piggyback ride.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_02] You couldn't jump up on my back. Exactly. Because I'm short. That's the point. Oh, my God. It was just like so annoying and triggering as a short person because people are always like, why can't you just carry this? And it's like, how do you want me to carry this thing ten, like five times my size?

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_10] Yeah. Why drew one other than the inherent? Oh, well, of course he would. Like I didn't when I watched Drew do this. I wasn't like, oh, he's doing so much better. He has this cool strategy that he's doing that is like clever. That is the reason he wants. It's just like there were a lot of hoofs and he had the least amount.

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_11] And like, it's not even like he could pretend that he had some sort of special strategy in the DR either. He's just like, I'm going fast. I'm just going through the course and I'm not going to hit the faults.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_10] So my strategy in this competition is to grab the mummy with my arms as opposed to grabbing them with Melody's arms.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_02] No, they should all have had the tiny hands. Then let's make it happen, suckers. Come down to my level. So I'll go low. OK, I'm already low.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_11] Maybe. Well, and like, did it have to be off the ground? Could they have like pulled it along the ground to make it easier or not?

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_10] I don't know. I mean, theoretically, maybe. I don't know. It might have been in the rules.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_02] I was watching with my mom and she couldn't even see the top. So she's like, why can't they just carry it? And I was like, I'm sure. You know, like I'm just hypothesizing that there has to be stuff above. To where you can't just carry it above you through the first half of the course. Because you see them carrying it to the back half. But just so stupid. Like, why do you waste all that money on set? Designed just to like crap out so bad.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_11] And then there's Drew in the DR talking about the bangles. That boy does not know who the bangles are or the song Walk Like an Egyptian, please.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_10] Oh, he's a musician. What did Angela call him?

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_09] He's like a music kid. He's like a rich music kid.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_11] Like the bangles? The bangles? Oh, my God. Karen, do you know who the bangles are?

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_10] No, no. But Drew does strike me as the kind of person that would. Because his dad's a musician.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_02] Isn't that lyric? No, I'm just kidding about that. Oh, apparently his dad plays with famous rock band. April says in the chat.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_11] Don't get me started on buzz. I had enough to stay on the slob.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_10] Well, Drew, of course, comes away with the win in this competition.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_10] That's the one I was looking for. He has won this competition. And we've talked about this on the live feed updates. But, like, definitely helps sell that it was the right call to evict Yash. Which helps him win this veto. And now he is safe. But in the process, it does mean that he's going to have to lose his ally and friend and almost man's partner in Melody.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_10] And he's too young for this. He's not emotionally mature enough to handle this stuff.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_11] Hey, that's pretty self-aware, honestly. Except the wrong stuff. Well, you know what I mean.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_02] So close. Close.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_11] He's, you know, it's stuff like that where I'm like, okay, maybe, you know, with some good conversations on the outside, he'll be able to make some changes and make some amends. I hope. I don't know. I don't actually know him. But I did like how he was like, I'm the worst thing that's happened to Fab. I'm the reason why they all went home.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_10] He just... I'm not going to say it. Do it.

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_02] No, say it. Now you have to say it.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_10] It had to do with fapping. I laughed for you, I promise. And how, you know, he was just, he's just really bad at it, apparently, you know?

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_11] Oh. Oh. Well, it is a mess done as a solo activity.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_10] There's really... I mean, is there anything genuinely here in the episode at this point? Like, everyone knew what was going to happen. We do get Melody, like, trying to campaign. There was maybe a reality here that could have worked where, like, D had kind of flirted with the idea of keeping Melody around because she wanted to sit next to Melody in the final two. But they didn't even use any of that. Like, they could have used, you know, D talking to the cameras about wanting to sit next to Melody, wanting to bring Melody to the final three.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_10] But they didn't even use that. They instead, like, focused on this, like, last-minute pitch that Melody did to Devin's, which was such an obligatory, like...

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_02] So bad.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_10] And obviously went nowhere. They didn't even tell us his thoughts afterward because it was so, like, obviously didn't work. So, you know.

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02] My favorite is her telling D, though, you know I'll keep you over Drew, right? And D was just like, wait, what? How did this happen?

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_11] You know, she half-tried, you know. It's so wild that, like, she knows. Best bet, I'm getting Drew's vote and nobody else's. So, like, she should have been going hard with Devin's the whole time. But she really didn't talk to him until after they found out it was an hour to the eviction. And even then, announcement. Eviction in one hour. And instead of going straight to Devin's, she walked out the room.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_10] Listen, you know, sometimes you get a prep.

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_02] Girl, what we been doing?

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_11] Crying with Drew. I did think it was cute when Drew, like, brought the phone out to the backyard so she could, like, talk to her mom when she was upset that she lost the veto. I thought it was sweet. Maybe I'm getting one too many TikToks of people shipping Melodrew. Because, like, when I tell you TikTok's in shambles, the number of clips I've seen of when Drew gets the phone to talk to Melody after she's out of the house.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_11] It's astronomical.

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_10] Well, just wait, Kirsten. Because at the end of this episode, I think there's a clip of Drew and Melody that is going to be in every fan cam that exists online for the next, like, two years. And she, just to skip ahead a moment, runs out the door and he goes, Melody. And she turns around and they hug and she says, you've got to win it.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_10] And he says, I don't know what he said in return. And then, and then she, like, she leaves it. Like, they're going to, the, the, the, the online people, they're going to love this. They're going to, they're going to make all kinds of, everybody, the casuals are going to love this. I'm going to call my shot right now. I think this moment wins Drew AFP.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_11] Don't piss me off. I know it could. I'm going to love this podcast. It's, Sasha, the number of, like, big TikTokers posting about watching the Big Brother live feeds who have never posted about watching Big Brother once in their entire lives is, it boggles the mind truly. I guarantee you I'm going to open TikTok after this and it's going to, that clip is going to be there and it's going to be the Melody, the hug, you've got to win this.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_11] And then it's going to go into compilation of Drew winning competitions, interspersed with him and Melody cuddling. Like, it's, it's happening.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_10] And they're going to, they're going to show the phone. Small, small little spoiler here. But there's another moment that he's going to have with a phone once she's gone, that's going to go big. Like, uh, it's, it's gonna, listen, I, I really think, um, I think the, the showman shippers are more powerful than survivor fans.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_10] And I do think that Drew might've, uh, might've clinched, clutched up, uh, an AFP win with this, but, uh, but who knows?

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_02] This is great. No, this is like actually ridiculous, right? Like the, the way that this show is constantly spoon feeding us lies and BS. Cause the, the way they're like, Andrew, he's just 22 and he's just emotionally not there. This whole time, he's just been aggressive AF towards all the people of color in the house.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02] And the way he talks about Taylor, the way him and Devin's have been dragging her for no reason. And all of a sudden we're supposed to just forget about how like ridiculous and gross and unsafe he's been. And it's cool because, oh, it's a showman's get out of here, bro. Stand up.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_11] All of us need to like, get it together and not be this fine. Liz. One hundred percent. And it's not even a real show. It's a situation ship on top of all of it. Girl, let me tell y'all about situations. You can't even give us real love.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_10] HOH winner the final four veto winner and and what we think may or may not happen based on those things so let's get into it

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_10] alright okay it's time for some spoilers uh the final four HOH was played and Taylor won it Taylor won the final four HOH she will be advancing to the final three uh and the final four veto of course is going to determine who else makes it to the final three

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_10] uh so they played in the final four veto competition which baby boy drew won and that of course means that one of Devin's or D will be evicted no matter what one of the two

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_09] survivors has to unsurvive

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_11] oh yes and I do feel like in the episode tonight I didn't want to talk about it during the episode portion because it goes into the spoilers but you know Devin's is talking about I had to do this because it will make Drew closer to me like this is the the moment I will but I I fear there was something in Drew's eyes that I think that was the moment that secured that Drew might get rid of Demons for revenge

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_11] he's gonna do it I actually really think that he is going to do it I really do

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_10] well okay here's here's here's the problem with trying to do proper analysis on what Drew might do with this veto is that like in the last four hours since the Survivor premiere started there's been a ton of conversations between Drew and Devin's that at the very least I have not been able to watch so uh so I am right now probably a little bit behind some of the audience in terms

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_10] of the latest information on Drew and Devin's uh but um but I do certainly want to hear uh more from uh the two of you like what your thoughts are so Kirsten what what makes you think this might happen

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_11] I just like and I also I haven't had the chance to watch these conversations either I was also watching you know Survivor and Big Brother I just feel like there was something in Drew's eyes when he's you know interacting with Devin's at the point where Melody gets out and today at some point he said like I had my decision like made up before I ever won the veto and so those two things together and my feminine intuition

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_11] tell me he's gonna get rid of Devin's I could be wrong

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_02] I mean it's the best for his game to do so because I think Devin's has way more win equity but that

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_11] dad dad he has bad relationships with father figures so it could it could be time

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_02] and it is it the you know final four curse for Devin's

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_11] it could be the final four curse as well and Maggie has said this a bunch on social media but like for Drew if he takes out Devin single-handedly at four it puts him in a really good spot for winning the final three at Joe H and then he single-handedly gets rid of D like those are some big moves to have on your resume going into a final two vote especially because in that circumstance it means that Taylor's not winning

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_11] the final HOH so she doesn't get that last little comp to put on on her list of accomplishments

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_10] yeah uh okay so you so you both do you both think he is leaning Zash you also think he's leaning to evict Devin's or no

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_02] I he's he's saying he is like in his conversations with D right he keeps being like I know I should keep you I know I should keep you but I think he yes that he is leaning that way

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_10] that certainly was the impression I had uh I think that a lot of people who saw the latest conversations he had with Devin's I have seen a lot of people say oh it seems like he's being convinced I have not watched these conversations myself so I can't speak to that uh the only honest like amount of interpretation I can do is just that like they were talking for a long time about it and from what I was able to

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_10] read about the conversation it seems as though like after hours of talking Drew was still saying things like it's tough uh which to me is like not a great sign for Devin's uh like why bother having such a long conversation about it if if he's leaning in the easy direction of like I'm taking you uh typically you would have like a long

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_10] hard conversation with somebody uh if you feel like you need to do damage control ahead of time is is the vibe I would have but like I said I didn't watch the conversation many people did seems to have seems to have a different interpretation of the conversation itself and that's certainly possible that like he genuinely maybe was leaning to toward evicting Devin's and then talked to Devin's and maybe in the process of talking to Devin's started to actually

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_10] get swayed a little bit perhaps so hard to say

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_11] yeah it's definitely not impossible I do think as well it's really tough I mean for any player to take just take them at their word for what they're saying in the house but I think especially Drew she he tells everybody what they want to hear and then decides what he's going to do later so that also can factor into it and I think with the fact that he's having such a long conversation with Devin's it could also give him kind of flashbacks to when he begged pleaded and promised everything

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_11] but the moon to Devin's to not put him up at the final five and it didn't move Devin's at all I could see him being in the DR like yeah too bad he didn't take me up on it because now it's over for him

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_10] perhaps so Kirsten you also agree because I made the case this morning I think that taking out Devin's is the right move for Drew you both agree on that as

[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_02] well yeah unfortunately I just think he can beat D in a lot of things to maybe where he ends up taking Taylor to the end and then it can can he convert a lot more votes instead of Taylor probably but I can see a world where he could beat D at a certain point I don't know

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_11] yeah I don't think it's impossible and I think it maximizes his chances of actually getting to the final two as well because I think he can make a good case to D about all of Taylor's friends on the jury in the case that she wins the final HOH

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_10] I think the only world where evicting Devin's feels like a mistake is the one where Taylor beats him in part three of the final three HOH and would reliably have gotten to part three even if she were competing against Devin's in parts one and two because then you could say okay she would have made part three regardless she would have

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_10] potentially won part three regardless and if Devin's were there she would have taken Drew and he would have had a chance to beat her but that is so many steps that all have to line up and I in anything else doesn't like if D wins the final three HOH then Devin's was much more likely to win the final three HOH and so it's like what are you going to do right and if he kept Devin's and then Devin's

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_10] goes on to win part three of the final three HOH and just goes on to win the game like unanimously everyone looks at Drew as like one of the dumbest players ever for keeping Devin's right like it's such it feels it will feel like such a no-brainer after the fact and that's because it kind of is a no-brainer right now like nobody's gonna be like well but he was guaranteed second place by keeping Devin's when Devin's beats him unanimously it's like okay great he got

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_10] second place like he just got beat by Devin's in the HOH competition and lost the whole game and maybe if he was competing against somebody else he would have won that final three HOH cut D take Taylor win the whole game so it's just like I just feel like that is it is such the clear option and it feels like he is close to knowing that but he's he's having a hard time with like I think

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_10] the like the risk of being third place and not only being third place but like cutting Devin's who he has a better relationship with forcing Devin's to get fourth place disappointing him as his son and then going on to get third place himself and then Taylor would have second place over him you know like like I think that actually is eating at him a bit and so I think that is

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_02] but I just like you said I think there are just more avenues for him to maneuver talk through build if he gets rid of Devin's I think without a comp beast he's the comp beast at least there's more options it's just if he takes Devin's at this point just hand over the money too and I understand right like this is someone you've built a relationship with it's easy for us to talk about it right just cut

[00:46:22] [SPEAKER_10] forever just like the sidekick of the season I think at that point maybe he still wins AFP right that's like I don't think he's going to be destitute by any means he probably will go on other shows regardless but in terms of like making an impact there's a two Devin's or whatever or coming just short in third place but if he had won that competition he would have won the game and he

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_10] is like the fallen angel of the season in the eyes of the casual viewers I think there's a massive difference there so again I don't know if that's in his head at all I know that his motivation for being on the show is to do other shows and he certainly wants to like Dr. Will before him he cares about perception you know when he does the phone thing he looks to make sure the camera angles are right first he's always like

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_10] making sure he looks good like he's definitely somebody that is aware of the fact that it's a television show and he wants to make good TV so I'm curious to know if that's in his head at all but but either way this is really like a huge amount of the game comes down had been I think thinking that he would take D to the final

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_10] two if he were to win the final three HOH and had kept D right like he told Melody I might have to take D the final two from what I understand Devins has followed through with his threat to not vote for Drew in the final two if he cuts him and perhaps also added like I will be campaigning for D I don't know if that was part of the conversation but like

[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_10] there's certainly a world where in the conversation with Devins Drew realizes he should not take D to the end after all and that Taylor is the easier beat and that would certainly help him as well in terms of his choice at the end because I
