[00:02:53] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 5th. I'm Taryn Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 60 in the house. And, oh boy, there was quite a lot. Quite a lot there. Quite a lot happening.

[00:03:23] Big stuff. House meetings. Secrets revealed. All kinds of nonsense that we need to get to today. And with me to talk through it all is Aman. How are you doing, Aman? I'm great. Hello everybody. Good morning. Yeah. House meetings. Secrets revealed. Secrets lied about. Betrayals. Backstabs.

[00:03:50] People still playing weirdly with more information when they might have been playing maybe better with less information. Some shifts in different relationships that we're seeing. A lot of moving parts.

[00:04:12] And one, I mean, I am mostly having fun with this because this is something that I've wanted to see happen for quite some time. I've been pretty hard on the person who is HOH right now for a few weeks now. And this is, you know, I might take my nine inch heel off his neck just a little bit, but there is still so much at play that like there's still a lot of danger.

[00:04:39] So, you know, it's a it's very interesting. So I'm excited to break it all down with you today. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. And we are unfortunately still not up on YouTube, so we might have to restart this. So bear with us for a moment here as this, you know.

[00:05:04] Oh, yeah, I'm seeing everyone's in the in the Twitch chat and stuff like asking for the link. Yeah. Small technical, excuse me, technical difficulties this morning, especially on such an eventful update. See the BB gods, they go and do one thing. And even when we're having some good feeds, we're going to be like, well, we don't want you guys to be able to talk about it. So mess up your stuff real quick. Yes. OK, hold on. I think we might be. [00:06:00] I apologize for the issues getting us alive, but we're here now. And yeah, let's read it out as well. Genuinely so much to talk about. And we need to get straight into it. Of course. Barrett is the H.O.H. And he is ready to go scorched earth. That is the plan. And he wants to nominate all three icons.

[00:06:26] He says one of the three icons or Yash should be the person that leaves this week. As soon as Barrett won this H.O.H. on Thursday, I tweeted out. I said, I think I think some secrets could get revealed this week. And oh, boy, is that happening? Mm hmm. So let's just jump in. We started the day, of course, with Taylor and Melody, of course, as though that's a normal conversation to have.

[00:06:55] We started this the day with Taylor and Melody. They're on slightly different pages about who they would prefer to be targeted. Melody prefers Devon's leave. Taylor prefers D leave. But really, as long as an icon goes, they're kind of fine. But obviously, Melody prefers Devon's leave because Drew is too close to Devon's. And without Devon's influence, Drew would be more easily with her and Barrett.

[00:07:24] And that would be great. Whereas Taylor would prefer D leave because she has a worse relationship with D. She has a she at least had a decent relationship with with Devon's once upon a time. And Taylor also vocalizes another point that I had made on Thursday night, which is that because Drew is so close with players like Devon's, you kind of need to make sure he goes up on the block at some point this week.

[00:07:53] If there's a replacement nominee needed or even just initially in Taylor's mind, Devon's D and Drew are great nominations because Drew is too likely to win the veto and use it on one of the nominees. And Taylor knows that the replacement at that point, like it would be Yash, which is not her preference, especially with Drew and an icon off the block. Yash could very well go home.

[00:08:18] So in her mind, Drew on the block with Devon's and D makes a lot more sense. Angela is a lot less likely to win a veto and use it. And she's not wrong about any of that. There is like a decent chance that some of those things could happen. Drew very much does want Yash to leave and he's already or he will already be talking to Barrett about, hey, can I use the veto? So she's she's thinking about this.

[00:08:48] She wants to pitch it. She wants Melody to help her pitch it. Melody doesn't think that Barrett will do it, but she does agree to help pitch it. And she actually kind of does a little bit later. So it's not a bad idea, but we'll see. We'll see if it happens. Yeah, I mean here. I mean, there's so much dialogue in the house from the vets and from a few other people over the course of the season that Taylor does nothing. All she does is sit in her bod and she won't be shy about the fact that she does.

[00:09:15] In fact, we'll hear it on on today's update that she's not shy about the fact that she does. But it doesn't mean that she doesn't know what's going on and it doesn't mean that she doesn't know strategy and understand what decisions should be made given the scenario. She's very tapped in not only to how she feels about other players in the house, but how other players feel about each other and where they stand with one another and what weaknesses and cracks there are.

[00:09:40] So this pitch definitely not a bad idea because if the ultimate goal is to get one of the icons out of the house, you need to make that the best option for that moving forward is taking away as many of their votes and putting as many of them up as possible. And that means two vets and one person that would vote for them so that no matter what happens, their placement nominee is still going to be a vet. So, you know, good on Taylor. Good on Melody for hearing this out.

[00:10:09] And even if it's, you know, her little flirtman showman snowman, whatever the hell we want to call it. You know, it's still a good idea. So good for them. Yes. So then we get to Barrett's HOH meetings and and we'll kind of cycle through them here because they all kind of culminate in again, quite, quite the, the day here.

[00:10:35] He starts with Devins and he's, he's pretty open about hinting that something's off. Something was off with D and Angela last week. Like he implies that Yash is still potentially his primary target, but he does say to Devins, like, I'm not nominating Melody because from the crossover's perspective, there's exactly three people he can nominate if he's not going to nominate a crossover. Melody, Taylor and Yash.

[00:11:02] So his target can still be Yash, but whether or not he's going to nominate Melody is another question. And when Barrett says, I'm not nominating Melody, he is telling Devins that he will be nominating one of the crossovers and it's not going to be Drew either. So it's going to be one of the icons. Now, this is what especially D and Angela are particularly concerned about.

[00:11:25] D and Angela are on, are under the assumption that Barrett might pull a fast one on them because they believe, and it's funny that they believe this, but they believe that Devins, Drew and Barrett are locked in as a final three, which they kind of are, but not nearly to the degree that they think they are.

[00:11:49] So in their minds, they're like, oh, Devins and Barrett and Drew are all up there conspiring. They're going to use Angela as a pawn instead of Melody because they control Melody as one of their pieces. And they're going to put Angela in the line of fire. And to prevent them from doing this, they might reveal some secrets about Yash and about how Devins has a deal with Yash as well, right?

[00:12:14] Like this is as much to drop info on Yash as it is to drop info on Devins to get them to not trust Devins because they believe Devins is part of the put Angela on the block as a pawn conspiracy. Yeah. Now from Devins' point of view, of course, he's just working with the crossovers and, and he's like, oh, wow. Okay. So you're not putting up Melody. Okay. All right. All right. I understand. I get it.

[00:12:42] Like I'm going to have to stomach a vet being used as a pawn, I guess is kind of the idea there. Then the conversations continue. Barrett talks to Taylor. She pitches the Drew idea, but Barrett's not really biting. And then D comes in and he's, you know, he's like, listen, I, I'm going to need to be selfish on this HOHD. And this isn't surprising to D. She's, she's like, ah, he's going to have to be selfish.

[00:13:11] He's going to put Angela on the block. I knew it. He's like, you know, you were selfish on your HOH. And she's like, yeah, yeah, I get it. She says, well, listen, I will tell you one thing though, Barrett. Yash should probably go up for your game because there's a lot less people left. And not only can he not put me up, he also can't put Angela or Devin's up either. Wait, what do you mean?

[00:13:41] He can't put the three of us up. It's not just me. We were all in the room when it happened. I don't, I don't understand how that, how that works. With Devin's and Angela, you're like going by his word. No, it's binding. What? You know how I told you he can't put me up. He can't put them up either. It's binding. What is this power? To not put three people up? Yeah. If it's part of the deal. Damn.

[00:14:10] That's crazy. Yeah. I mean, that's good to know though. Obviously though, a little upsetting to know. I guess there's nothing I can do about that though. So when you told Devin's in the room that you bribed Yash, he was just acting? Yeah. Okay. Please, please don't tell anyone, you know, I'm sorry. Oh girl. I do love you, Barrett. Okay. Okay.

[00:14:41] I mean, look, I mean, it's, it's, it's the, the first attempt of the Hail Mary, right? This is Hail Mary part one. The soft launch of the bribe. To which it still kind of feels like there are nebulous parts to this bribe that aren't necessarily quite clear. Um, because production, which typically has no qualms with turning on that loudspeaker and be like, you can't, they didn't really have a lot to say yesterday.

[00:15:10] So it leaves a lot of, uh, confusion open in the air, which I'm sure we'll get to later. Um, but you know, I, I like, um, I can understand on both sides why Barrett would feel like kind of like this power seems kind of unorthodox. It doesn't make much sense given the fact that it seems a little OP.

[00:15:30] But then to that, I say, uh, it's not that out of the ordinary because we've seen vets get kind of this kind of power all the time. I mean, can we go back to 2019 or 2019, BB-19 and look at Paul getting friendship races is basically him saying you can't put me up and you can't put any of these people up. So, you know, I, it, it shouldn't be too surprising to him.

[00:15:55] Um, but one thing that he does mention later is that it's like, well, isn't this kind of affirming what I was thinking anyway about the three of y'all? So, hey. Yeah. Uh, she starts crying to him. They, they like, okay, wow. I love you too. Uh, so on and so forth. The conversation ends. Um, now again, from D's perspective, this is yes to get Yash on the block, but also to, to throw a wrench in.

[00:16:25] The trust between Barrett and Devin's, which doesn't actually exist, but she thinks she's throwing Devin's under the bus here. And that whole like, well, Devin's was play acting that whole time. Yes. Yes, he was. Um, and so that's like her move. And that's why she's saying, don't tell anyone. She doesn't want Devin's to know that she's, she's done this. Um, so then he asks D to send Drew up. Drew comes up. Uh, and Drew's like, listen, Barrett, I'm willing to back you.

[00:16:55] No matter what you do here, I'm good. Uh, he, Barrett's like, that's great. He's like, I'm like, I almost wear my flame, wear my flame shirt today. Cause I'm ready to go scorched earth. Okay. Uh, and, and there's a few of these instances throughout the day where like, Drew can tell that Barrett is being a little more open. And so he's like tossing these questions in. And so he asks Barrett, so would you have kept, would you have kept Devin's last week?

[00:17:25] Barrett's like, no. Yeah. So I put him in danger, huh? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Okay. All right. Wow. I mean, look, I get it. I get it. Uh, and he says, uh, well, listen, I think that Devin's might actually have our bags. If we have a choice between who we would send home, I really think D should be the target.

[00:17:50] And really like, is there not a world where, you know, you save the relationship that we have with Devin's, you keep him off the block. You put Yash on the block with Angela and D, uh, and Barrett's like, yeah, I mean, I'm considering that too. I do think that's an option. Yeah. Um, and really like Drew just keeps bringing it back to Devin's and how he thinks they can still work with him and how.

[00:18:14] He thinks that, uh, they should make sure that Devin stays this week and D or even maybe Yash leave, uh, instead. Um, and, uh, and in response to this Barrett's like, well, listen, I just found out some interesting shit, but I'm not sure if D is lying about it. Now I'm live at this point on my Patreon. I'm excited for them to find out this information because it's, it's very interesting information.

[00:18:44] And it, it's, uh, it's interesting to, to, to think about what they might do with it. Um, and, uh, and I'm like, okay, here we go. He's about to tell Drew. Uh, and he does, he says, D said Angela and Davins were included in the deal, but I think she's lying. Mm-hmm. Now at this point, I believe that D cannot lie about this. I believe that that's an obvious rule.

[00:19:14] Mm-hmm. And I'm like, Barrett, what do you mean you think she's lying? Obviously she can't lie. Mm-hmm. And she's basically said as much, um, but he believes she's lying. Now there's also the fact there's, there's, this is twofold. Number one, she's not lying. So what do you mean you don't believe her? Number two, she can't lie. Right? Mm-hmm. Surely.

[00:19:41] Um, and so Drew's like, okay, well that's, that's weird. Well, I wonder if she is lying. I mean, can't, isn't she not allowed to lie? And he's like, I don't know. Um, and, uh, and cause Barrett's thing is, it's not that he believes that D is lying because he, he's like, oh, I gotta tell from D. It's like, that power is so ridiculous. Who would believe it? Yeah. Which is exactly why you're not allowed to lie about powers. Because you can't just make shit up.

[00:20:11] Uh, and, and, and when you have the backing of a power. Uh, so, um, so they're like, okay, well, I guess we don't really believe this. Uh, and Drew's like, uh, all right. Well, either way, um, you know, I guess, I guess we're still down to do this. And I'm, I'm just so disappointed in this. I'm like, well, this will come out in the wash. Mm-hmm.

[00:20:37] They'll go and they'll talk to the diary room producer and they'll ask for clarification on the rule. And, and they'll tell them, no, D is actually not allowed to lie. And then they'll know the truth. And then we'll get the conversation about what this means for them. Okay. That's, that's what will happen. Yeah. Um, yeah. I think we all thought that.

[00:20:58] Um, and again, like I was saying before, I, I, cause I mean, there, I mean, if there's anyone that should understand the rules about production, um, more so than maybe anyone besides the people that have been on CBS shows before, it would be better because he is such a super fan. And we've seen time and time again about how these players get admonished for trying to use production as a strategy or trying to twist some of the mechanics of the game in their favor.

[00:21:26] And it gets thwarted almost every single time. Um, so it is, it is interesting. I think it's just that thing where he just doesn't want to believe it. Um, even if he thinks that it's, it could be true because this is finally your week. This is your age of weight. You're putting, you're going to put up all three icons. One of them is going to go, you're, you're changing the tides of the game. And now all of a sudden there is one power that was used on that has nothing to do with me.

[00:21:55] That is still messing this up for me. Like that can't, that just doesn't compute. It doesn't make sense. But yeah. And this is like, this has always been such a confusing thing for, for fans. Uh, I, it's one of the most commonly asked questions of me and I'm constantly trying to explain it.

[00:22:15] Uh, because there is a logic to the idea that you're not allowed to lie about a production power because production, the fact that you have a power can be backed is, is information that is theoretically backed up by production. Uh, right? Like D having the power, nobody else is claiming they have it. D didn't come out with a punishment. D almost certainly has a power production has, has aided the claim that D has a power, right?

[00:22:43] Uh, therefore she can't use that aided production, uh, benefit to then lie about what the power does or what she's able to do with the power or what she gets from the power. Because theoretically production would be aiding her in that lie by allowing her to have a power survivor circumvents this by having a slip of paper with the rules, an official slip of paper with the rules of what, how, what, and how it works.

[00:23:12] Uh, and so if you claim that you have something that goes until whenever it, whenever you want, uh, like when Tony claimed that his super idol lasted until the final four instead of the final five or whatever. Um, if you want, you can just be like, well, let's see the paper. And then if they're like, well, I don't have the paper. Then it's like, oh, so you're lying then. So you're lying then. Uh, which is a much more elegant solution because there's a physical object.

[00:23:41] Uh, and it really like, it allows you to, to bluff in a way that is like much more in game. Right. Right. Uh, you can bluff if they don't think to ask about the paper or if you wait until a tribal council and do it last minute, like, Hey, I've got this thing. And then they don't think to ask to look at the paper. Then you've managed to successfully bluff somebody. Um, and it's all on camera, right? Like you're seeing them all play. Like, let me see the paper.

[00:24:06] You get the, you then get to read, they're reading the paper and now they know all the bluff has been called. Whereas this, like, you can't, you can't use production as a strategy. It's so nebulous. It's so like, well, I'm not allowed to lie, but I'm, but you are allowed to lie and you can lie about this, but I can't lie about this. Oh, wait, is that true? I don't understand this. We have to go. You can lie about having a power, but you can't lie about what the power actually is. If you have the power or if you don't have, it's like.

[00:24:36] And all of these conversations are like, how do you even include them in the show? Because they're all just not talking about whether or not they believe each other. They're talking about what is allowed and what is not allowed via the rules from production. And it's, and like, again, it's Barrett's not saying, I don't believe Dee because I think she's a liar. He's saying, I don't believe Dee because that power is far too powerful. There's no way that exists as a power.

[00:25:02] And so we're, I'm talking about all this because it becomes very, very relevant as we move forward in the story here. Now, Drew is going to leave the conversation with Barrett and he goes and he talks to Devens. He says to Devens that he thinks Devens should be good, but Dee and Angela, I don't know. And Devens is like, I've been thinking, you know, I didn't really know what to say with him, to say to him in that room.

[00:25:30] But now I'm thinking like, I really think this is a mistake. I don't think he should be putting the vets on the block. I think he's going to burn bridges. I think the best chance for finger guns to get to the end is, is to, to just stick with crossovers. I need to talk to Barrett again. So that's what he plans to do. In the meantime, Angela goes up and talks to Barrett and she just puts on her happy face. She's like, I'm just so happy that the five of us have made it here.

[00:25:58] And obviously you're going to do the right thing with the five of us. Right. And everything's going to be fine. And, you know, Barrett obviously recognizes what this is. He's going to talk to everybody about it later. Like how silly it is that like Angela is continuing to act like she can trick him into thinking that he thinks she trusts him. He says that her acting is good for a nonfiction movie. Here we go. All of that.

[00:26:28] Melody comes in and they talk about trying, about Drew. Barrett tells Melody about how Drew is trying to protect Devens. In their conversation. And she's like, that's so annoying, bro. I'd say like, he literally thinks he's his father. Like not in a bad way. He's like a father figure, whatever. But like in the game, it's like, dude. And so she does end up suggesting like maybe he needs to be the renom. Because I don't know what he's going to do. Is it what he's going to do with the veto?

[00:26:58] Like he's got to pick a side, bro. And Barrett says, you know, Mallory's eviction changed everything for me in this game. And really set me on this path. Mm-hmm. And Drew ends up joining them in the conversation. He says he's down. He's down for scorched earth. And Melody's like, are you though? Yeah. He's like, do you not believe me? She's like, I don't know. I don't know if I believe you.

[00:27:28] Drew doesn't even believe himself. Drew is down for anything. Okay? He will say one thing one minute and then go ahead and tell somebody else the same thing. Or reveal something that somebody else said to him two seconds ago. Like it's. And it's like in a way, like Drew is like in this like weird smarmy survival mode. I get it. But like you've only, you have no one to blame but yourself for putting yourself in the position

He's still thinking about how he's going to approach Barrett again. And Angela's out there. And this is a whole scene, so bear with me. [00:29:50] Why would it go any other way? Huh? It shouldn't go any other way. I don't know what that means. Well, we're together. What's the problem? There should be no problem, right? Now, again, just to remember, Angela believes that she might go on the block as a pawn because of Devons. And so she's trying to act like she trusts in the alliance completely

[00:30:18] so that it would be a pure betrayal, that it was not her fault that Devons is doing this to her. So he goes, So it went good? Why wouldn't it? I'm just asking if it went well. Yeah. Okay. I wouldn't expect it to go any other way. Good. Good.

[00:30:46] You know, and I hated that you volunteered last week, but, you know, it had me really upset. But I don't feel that way now. Because, like, you're off. You're here. He has three to pick from. It should be easy. It should. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not worried. Good. Sounds great. This is the beginning. Long silence. Beginning of a divorce. Long silence.

[00:31:20] You didn't feel like you had to do a temperature check, did you? Huh? You didn't feel like you had to do a temperature check, did you? Yeah, I didn't know where his mind was at. Well, I don't feel that way. Just like when you won, I didn't ask you anything. I didn't feel that way. When D won, I didn't ask anything. Anything. When Drew won, I didn't ask anything. Why would I want Barrett? Why would I want to ask Barrett? Anything. I never did.

[00:31:50] I never did any kind of temperature check with any of you. Because we're together. I feel like you're putting it on way strong right now. I'm just like, of course we check in with each other all the time. All week last week, you thought he was going to turn on me. So, yeah, I thought you'd have a conversation with him for sure. No, it wasn't necessarily that he was going to do it. It was more or less of

[00:32:18] how many days were in between. And, you know, and, and I was just asking. Silence. For a little while. Silence. Awkward silence. And, and plus, Devin's, you know, truth, the truth be told, he wouldn't know how much I worried unless you or D told him, which I know you didn't, so I'm not worried about it.

[00:32:47] But he, he would be none the wiser. None the wiser. And he's just like, uh-huh. And then, hold on. They both nod at each other and she just buries her face in the, and she's like that for a while. He gets up. He's like, I'm just going to find some shade. And he goes, and he lays behind the couch

[00:33:17] on the other side of the backyard, mumbling to himself. Psycho. My God. Lunatic. You are difficult to work with, Angela. Why would I be worried? Just like figuring that out. Did you forget you just told me that? Or are you just a crazy person? I was just trying to ask a question. I just can't. Um, why would you be worried at all?

[00:33:48] What is, and then a bird starts showing, like flying up near the cameras. He starts talking with the bird. Like, I don't know what to do, bird. I don't know. I miss Christian and Emily. I, I don't know how to work with these people. Um, this is a guilt trip that nobody bought tickets for.

[00:34:18] From Angela. Um, it's an interesting, uh, guarded tactic to throw all of this blame on to Devin's for something that's not really happening. when what you really could just be doing is doing what you said that you weren't doing when you were actually doing it all these weeks prior and just check in and talk and things could probably be.

[00:35:12] there really is nowhere to go because she's like this conversation was just nothing but like emotional landmines that she kept leaving. So no matter what his response was going to be, it was going to be. The wrong answer or the wrong reaction. Uh, so yeah, there really is nothing else to do. But go Dr. Little and talk to that bird, honey. Go tweet, tweet, tweet to that bird. I'm sure that bird has been watching with the birds eye view and seeing everything.

[00:35:41] So the bird knows they know all. Yeah. So Devin's obviously not pleased with this interaction. Angela also not pleased with this interaction. She's going to complain to D about Devin's. How dare he? How dare he? Uh, she's ready to go nuclear on him. If he comes after her, meaning she goes up on the block. This is all Devin's fault. Uh, she goes on a whole rant to D, but in the meantime,

[00:36:09] Devin's checks in with Barrett again, uh, this time in the kitchen. Uh, and he's like, so any chance your, uh, finger guns strong, you know, like, uh, and Barrett's like, there's a chance. Um, you know, but, um, I don't know that I'm like crossover strong. Uh, Devin's is like, I just,

[00:36:39] listen, I just don't understand the thought process because in my mind, the best chance for finger guns, and he can't do the action because they're in the kitchen and they're on camera by the spy cam. Uh, so he just calls it finger guns here. Uh, best chance for finger guns is keeping crossovers and not burning bridges. And Barrett's like, dude, y'all got the first HOH, the powers, the safety stones. Like,

[00:37:03] I need to think about all that and think about my own game and start like making my own decisions and my own moves. Uh, and Devin's like, so, so like, what are you thinking? It's like, I'm thinking the three of you or two of you and Yash. He's like, two of me and Yash? No, it wouldn't be you with Yash. Well, obviously I prefer that one. Um, you're still, you're really thinking about that. He's falling into that trap.

[00:37:34] He's like, I, I'm genuinely still thinking about it, Devin's. Uh, and he's like, all right, well, would you just give me a heads up before? Uh, and he's like, honestly, consider this your heads up. Okay. All right. And that's a rule too, right? Now that we're talking about production and all this, like the HOH is not supposed to tell you they're nominating you. That's, that's a rule, right? Yes, technically,

[00:38:02] but nobody follows it because it makes no sense. Yeah. Angela then grabs Barrett. She pulls him into the gym. She says, now she's come up with a whole scheme here because again, her whole thing is I'm not worried at all. So she comes up, she says, Barrett, I'm, I'm not even worried. And I wasn't even going to talk to you again,

[00:38:32] except Devin's made me worried. He's freaking me out. And so that's why I'm talking to you. Okay. so like Devin's is doing all this stuff and it's just like, what is he, what, why is he even saying all these things to me? He was like in the backyard and he was like, how'd your conversation go? It's like, it went fine. Why wouldn't it go fine? It's like, he's trying to make me worry. So am I an option? It's like, yes. Why?

[00:39:03] I have to make moves for myself in this game. And listen, y'all have such a great chance to win. You're all such great players in your own way. I just feel like, what is this? So really, really me. And Devin's is one, like three things. And so I'm a bigger threat than Devin's. You're saying I'm a bigger threat than Devin's. No, I didn't, I didn't say that. Nobody said that. You are saying that Barrett. You are saying that.

[00:39:32] You're saying I'm a bigger threat than Devin's by putting me up. Because remember, she thinks she's the one going up. It's like, well, Devin's would be in consideration too. Well, if you're going to break up this alliance of five and you're worried about the three of us, I'm the big threat. I, I didn't say you're the bigger threat,

[00:40:01] but I do think you're a block of three that makes sense to go up together. All three of us are going up? Well, I can't say that, but I am considering all three of you. Yes. Well, I think you'd better think about that a little more closer because I think you should. I,

[00:40:30] I just, wow. I didn't think you would do this. I didn't think that this would happen now. Listen, I just, I don't know when I'm going to have a chance to make a move in this game again. You know? Wow. I just hope you don't take any of this personally. What I do. I do though. I do. I'm, I'm sorry. Because you're going back on your word and we were in this together.

[00:41:03] Uh, he goes on to say that she's good at this game. She says, no, I'm not. Just like, give yourself some credit. Come on. You're, come on. So, this is so, it's so stupid. Cause like, and it's like, I get it. It's like, you guys have been in this since the beginning. You've gotten all these powers as you know, Barrett has laid out for Devin's. And so you're sitting in this really,

[00:41:30] really warm and fuzzy cocoon of safety, even though you've been on the block and now you're feeling extra vamped up about your game because you were able to win a blockbuster for yourself. So it doesn't feel like you've just been sitting around doing nothing. It feels like you've played the best game of all time. And to Angela's credit, I would say that her BB 28 showing is a little better than BB 26. I would say that there are some improvements to Angela's game. There have been so many times where she could have get, went full blown Angela.

[00:41:59] And she was mostly calm. So I'm not going to sit here and try to say that Angela doesn't, you know, hasn't improved, but it's just like, girl, no, one's ever going to fall for this, this, this wounded bird. This like, I'm not, I'm not, I, you guys are going to win over. Like it can't work that way. I'm not even on. That's not even fair. Little old me. Yes. Little old you, little old you. I'm the threat I'm on. You are.

[00:42:30] You are. Really? You are. You are the threat of all threats. You are queen threat. The third. So Angela now knows the truth. Now the, the funny thing about this is for as much of a reaction as she did have when she found out that all three vets were going up on the block, she actually prefers this. It actually made her feel a little bit better that all three of them were going up and it wasn't just her. So,

[00:42:59] so she goes and she tells D, uh, all three of us are going up. It's like all three of us. Yeah. Good for Barrett. Good for him. He's going to put all three of us up. He's breaking the Alliance. He's like, yeah, well, uh, well, I guess Yasha is going to win this game.

[00:43:29] You know, I mean, good for D like, because it is much more, uh, it's better to have this kind of response and to be level headed about it and to be thinking about, okay, like, so what do I need to do now? Then to be doing what Angela is doing. Um, even though this kind of works out for Angela because, you know, reasons, which we'll get into later, but it's just, um, I, I, I, I admire that. I admire that.

[00:43:57] And I admire how she responds, um, afterwards about everything too, because it just shows, it just shows adaptability and it shows that you're willing to, to save face. Um, which, you know, maybe it's a little bit too late in the game for anybody to really fall for that kind of thing, but it's still, it's better to do that than to blow up. So. Yeah. It's, I found it really interesting because D and Devin seem so opposite in how they respond to things.

[00:44:27] Devin's all season has been so like, I made the move, but it's nothing personal, totally separate personal from game, no hard feelings. Um, but then like when it starts to get toward the edges, right. When it starts to get a bigger, like long-term thing, it's like, Oh, well I'm never going to vote for you. Yeah. In the final two. I'm going to hate you forever. Um,

[00:44:54] whereas D is like every little thing is like, how dare they? I am the one in charge, not them. But then when it's like when, when push comes to shove and it's like at the end of the day, she's like, ah, good for them. I'm still going to vote for Devin's. Even if he turns on me, I'm still going to vote for Barrett if he does this. Um, and so they, they really like their opposite ends and they like pass each other in the night when it comes to, uh, you know, the different reactions of, of how things go here. Yeah. Um,

[00:45:25] so, uh, Devin's goes and he talks about, he talks to drew. He tells drew about his conversation with Barrett. Um, he's still trying to act as cool as possible. Uh, he's like, at least, you know, hopefully he keeps me safe and Yash goes up and we can move forward with finger guns. Even if an icon has to take a hit. Uh, and Drew's like, yeah, I'm really annoyed that like Yash comes out ahead and all of this. Um, and then Devin's goes and talks to D and this whole time,

[00:45:54] like Taylor and Yash are upstairs again. And like, they're hanging out with Barrett and Yash is like, Hey, they're not going to bother you as long as we're up here. So don't worry about it. Uh, and, um, do you know who Angela is? What is wrong with you? Devin's goes to D. He says, Hey D, at what point do we bring up that Yash can't put any of us up? D's like, what? He did it. Uh, no, she doesn't say that. She says, well, whenever. Um, and he's like, well,

[00:46:24] Yash is up there with him right now. I mean, it'll be fun to just go up there and do it with him in the room. Fuck it. Yeah, let's do it. Uh, and then Angela shows up. They're like, Hey, you down? We're going to go up and expose the Yash bribe. And she's like, all right, sure. And just like that, all of the, all of the little, uh, cracks in the Vets Alliance have been, have been patched up. They're, they're a team again.

[00:46:49] And the three of them head upstairs together into the HOH room and Barrett's there. Yash is there. Melody is there. Drew is there. Everyone is there except for Taylor. Uh, in fact, Drew goes, is this everyone except for Taylor? Wow. And, uh, Devin says, listen, you may already know this, but we thought you should know so you can make an informed decision about the nominations here.

[00:47:18] We just want you to know that if Yash wins next week, none of us are going up. And Barrett is pretending like this is the first time he's hearing about, wait, what? the 5k deal is for any icon. If he wins, none of us are going up. And then Barrett again, continuing to, what the hell kind of power is this shit? Yash, care to confirm?

[00:47:47] And this is where things get weird. Yeah. Yash says, yeah, I made a deal with D not with them. Wait, what? He's like, no, the power is mine. I can confirm. It's with all three. It's binding. I can't lie about it. Taylor ends up joining the conversation as it continues, but we need to sort of unpack this a little bit. Right?

[00:48:18] Now, at this point in time, I'm like, okay, theoretically, it is D's power. She can't lie about it, but it's not Yash's power. So Yash can lie about it all he wants. It's a fool's errand because this is all. This is something that is backed by production. D cannot lie. Therefore, D will be believed. And he's lying with, with an, in a fruitless way. He'll he's,

[00:48:47] he has to be caught as long as they ask production in the diary room. They'll know that D can't lie. And therefore, what are you doing? Yash? You might be allowed to lie, but why would you bother? And it's very clear that D believes that she cannot lie about this because she very carefully told the, when she was said that it was, when she said that she was safe, she was very careful to not say it was only her.

[00:49:16] That was part of the whole thing that she was only omitting information, not actively lying about it. Um, and she comes into this conversation, fully believing. As long as I say this, they have to believe me because I cannot lie about this. She fully believes this and she's saying it out loud. And when D says, I cannot lie about this, that's using production as a strategy. If it's not true. So she would be shut down shortly if this weren't the case.

[00:49:45] And so Yash is surely just dead in the water here. Why would he even bother lying? Because if D is saying, I can't lie, that is using production as a strategy. If it's not true. And so this is going to be backed up by production, but, but Yash is trying. And to me, it feels like, okay, clearly this was, Yash's plan was to deny it, uh, and say it was only good for D. Um, not realizing that you can't,

[00:50:14] that D can't lie about it. So he lies and he says, I made a binding deal with D. The other two Mickey mouse. They weren't binding. Uh, and Tevin's just like, that's just not true. D can't lie about it. I mean, listen, you guys can wait till he wins and see, but it's binding. He can't put us up to be clear. We're telling on ourselves, but next week, I can put up whoever I want.

[00:50:43] He has to put three of you up. Um, and this is the truth. And this is the truth. And just to be clear, this is not Yash misunderstanding. Yash fully knows that he's lying. Yash fully knows the true details of the bribe. He said it in the diary room and he'll say it later tonight. So don't worry about that. Um, and so Angela's like, yeah. And, uh, and since, since that's done, um, just being truthful,

[00:51:10] we've been working in an alliance since day two with these two boys. Uh, and we, this was never to hurt either of you just to let you know, you know, I would have helped keep all of us from being on the block. So, you know, it was really to help protect you guys too. Um, and, and, and Devin's is like, Oh yeah. Well, I guess if we're just airing everything out, he, uh, Yash was trying to get rid of you Taylor last night. Pretty openly. He was trying to keep Lala because she was a better competitor, by the way. Um, it's like,

[00:51:39] any other secrets? Uh, and Yash, Yash starts to deny the Taylor thing. He's like, I didn't. And then they, Yash, come on now. Come on. you are. And then Drew's like, Yash, you were literally on the couch asking people if they were willing to keep Lala. I was the biggest liar in the house, but you can take that title. Um, and Yash is like, okay, I entertained the conversation for sure. I entertained it. Um, and, uh, and then Barrett,

[00:52:09] Barrett, please go to the diary room. and they all burst out laughing because that means that noms are about to start. Um, now what's wild is that in this conversation, Yash does try to lie about the bribe, but he barely tries. Like he literally, he's just laying there like, no, that's not how it went. And then as the, as they're, as they're talking, he's literally like smirking. He's like, and,

[00:52:39] and like not, not bothering to be like, that's a lie. That's, this isn't true. This is the deal I made. He's literally just like, and then when they come to him, he like puts a serious face on what? No, that's not, that's not what it was. Yeah. It's the, uh, the nonchalant strategy where it's like, I don't want to appear overly emotional or overly invested because then that might make me feel like I am lying. Um,

[00:53:07] it reminded me so much of the week in BB 20. Um, where, uh, Fessy wins HOH and they try to level six comes up with a lie about Scotty trying to get them out. And Scotty, like he's been animated that entire season, but the minute he's confronted with a lie, which is, it was a lie. He's just like, yeah, that's cute. And I'm like, can we, we need, we need some fire here. We need, we need a little something more.

[00:53:34] Cause your ass is really getting chopped right now. Really getting chopped. Like, yeah. And I mean, like, here's the thing. Uh, we've talked about this a lot on the podcast, like, uh, because these situations do come up on big brother. Um, and, and it's always, uh, uh, it's usually a pretty similar thing that like, usually, and it's not, it's not always, but usually if you're telling the truth, you get pretty incensed by the idea that you're like,

[00:54:02] cause like you believe you are backed up by the truth. And it's usually like, are you seriously trying to lie about this? Like, are you, what do you, what do you mean? In the same way that like the entire, like the second he tried to lie about the Taylor thing, the entire rest of the room was like, come on. We all know that. Like when you, when somebody is lying about something directly to your face, it tends to get you pretty riled up. Uh, and so, uh, and, well, not always,

[00:54:32] not always. Um, so, uh, they all break up and Yash stays in the room with Taylor. And Taylor's now heard that Yash was maybe trying to get him out. And she's also wondering what's happening with this, uh, bribe situation. And in my opinion, it's pretty clear that Taylor knows that Yash is lying. Uh, because it wasn't that hard to see if you actually, everybody else,

[00:55:02] everybody else, Barrett in particular, Barrett's thinking about production. This power makes no sense. What are the rules? Is D allowed to lie about it? Is D not allowed to lie about it? Barrett's barely talking to Yash to try to see whether or not Yash is lying. Um, he's mostly focused on production, but Taylor was focused on Yash. And she was like, this guy's lying. This guy's so clearly lying. Um, so she asks him, like, what's, what's going on.

[00:55:31] And he lies again. He says, I made a deal with D not with them. It's binding with D it's not binding with them. Um, and she's pretty clearly upset and should be. Yash is her only ally, only true ally left in the game. Um, and it's like, this is unfortunate. Uh, and things just get really awkward and silent for a while. She puts on her shades and they just sit there, not talking for like 10 minutes. No talking.

[00:56:02] And then she just gets up and leaves. Like I'm pretty sure Yash has his eyes closed as well. Like it's just, they're just, uh, yeah, this is, this was so bad. And I mean, so many people were calling it last week when he was trying to get, you know, testing the waters to see if, they could get Taylor up out of there because he's so much more focused on keeping people that he thinks can win. Um, because he knows why he can't be the one that always has to win.

[00:56:33] Um, and that just gives more ammo to Taylor to not want to believe him. Cause it's like, I mean, she knows that she's not getting competition. So it only makes too much sense. If what D is saying is true and that you can't put them up and you need someone else to win to put them up and you think I can't win. Well, it only makes sense that she would try to get rid of me last week. And it's just, so it's like two, it's two lies that reveals such a horrible truth for her. And it's like,

[00:57:00] your number one ally wanted to get rid of you because they don't, they just don't have much faith in you as an ally. And they weren't telling you about powers that they had in the game. And it's just, it's just such a hodgepodge of a mess. And I just wish that Yash in the moment, and it's hard because when you're in the moment, you have all these people looking at you. Cause it was like literally most of them on one side of the room. And Yash is the only one on the other side on the couch, like looking at you being like, yeah, yeah, we got you, bro. It can be hard to,

[00:57:29] to know what the best response can be, but I just wish that he had just been like, yeah, I had to because D threatened to put me on the block if I didn't. And that gives you so much more room to breathe. Cause it's like, is it an unfortunate truth? Yes. Yes. But it's also what you had to do for your game. You had no choice. It's either take the bribe, take the safety from the icons that are very much a three and are oppressing the house right now,

[00:57:57] or go on the block and very well go home. So, oh man, it was just, it was so, it was such a tense moment. And for it to be broken up with Barrett going downstairs, I was just like, whew, Lord, fix it, Jesus. But I was glued to this piece to see what was going to happen when the feeds came back. So, I mean, my main thing here is that like, obviously there is incentive for Yash to lie. The truth is very damning for him,

[00:58:27] but he can't, right? Like that, that my, my thought process is my understanding of the rules is that he can't get away with this because D can't lie. She's saying she can't lie. Production is not saying she can't say that she can't lie. Therefore she can't lie. And, and he can't get away with this. Uh, so like why even bother? That's my thought process at that time, at least. Um, now in the meantime,

[00:58:56] D and Devons are down and out in the backyard. They're continuing to elaborate on the bribe situation to drew and melody. Melody is pretty pissed off about the whole situation. And then the feeds finally go down for nominations. When they come back up, we're still mid nomination ceremony. Angela D and Devons have been put on the block. And it's going on. Angela says, I'm not taking any of your shit. Yash.

[00:59:25] No, sir. It's a, I have, I've dealt with teenagers all this time. And blah, blah, blah. And Yash is like, okay. You need a cookie? She says, no, but you might need one to put in your mouth to stop the lies from coming out. You need to, you need to chew instead of lie and talk. Yeah. Nice rebuttal. Okay. Devin says, Barry, you do look like cookie monster. Oh,

[00:59:54] and then Barry says this nomination ceremony is adjourned. I was dying. Cause I thought that it already been done. Ooh. So of course it seems as though there was a, quite a confrontation between Yash and Angela. Um, a funny part of this is that apparently lot Yash said, uh, Angela, there's no love lost here. And I mean that.

[01:00:22] And Angela sort of believed seems according to DT, uh, in the conversation that they had seems to have been, believed that that meant that there was no love to lose, uh, and got very upset about it. Um, and so they had to sort of like clear that up and apologize to each other much later in the night. Uh, there's another misunderstanding. Which to me, if you're an Angela though, isn't that with that, isn't that how that usually is used? Like if someone, you know, I feel like people usually say that,

[01:00:52] like if somebody that they never really cared for walks out of their life, they usually are saying there's no love lost. People don't usually use that in a way that is like, like good. Right. Or am I misinterpreting that myself? Cause I think that's how I used it. Yeah. I mean, I think it's, I don't think you often say it directly to a person. That's true. Right. That's true. I think you usually like, there's no love lost between those two when they hate each other. Right. Yeah. Um, but you don't usually say like, Hey,

[01:01:21] there's no love lost here. Yeah. He probably should have said like, you know, Angela, I still love you and just left it at that. Like a work. We're still good. You know, at least I am. There's another misunderstanding later in the night where Taylor thinks that Angela has overheard Angela talking about her being a self-sabotaging player and all this stuff.

[01:03:45] But it turns out Angela was actually just talking about herself to herself. And so they also have to kind of clear that up. But nonetheless, we have to talk more about this Yash situation. Drew believes that the vets are telling the truth and that Yash is lying. He thinks Yash is lying. Again, I'm going to tell you that Taylor hasn't said it yet, but she also believes that Yash is lying.

[01:04:13] Melody seems to be more on the side of Yash is lying. But Barrett, again, very focused on the production angle of this. He talks to Drew and he says, well, Dee can't lie about the power, but she can lie about what the power was used for. So I think the vets are lying. And he says it with such confidence.

[01:04:42] I was live during this as well, that I was like, it sounds like he asked production and they told him this. And I can tell you that he confirms this later. He says that it was verified to him that Dee cannot lie about the power, but she can lie about the use of the power. And therefore, Dee can lie.

[01:05:08] Therefore, Yash does have wiggle room to try to lie about it. The problem is, why is Dee believing that she can't lie, saying so and not being called out or told by production you actually can lie? And it's just it's just getting so convoluted. That doesn't make sense. Production, get your shit together here. Like, what are we doing?

[01:05:37] We really like if it has gotten to the point where like in the past, it's been not that big of an issue because there aren't that many of these things to deal with. But if you're going to have all of these secret powers with all of these complicated rules, we really need just a fully written out thing. We just we need a clear set of rules that are not so ambiguous that you can't just kind of like willy nilly.

[01:06:07] Like you can lie about this, but you can't lie about this. What is the logic behind it? Oh, we don't even know. No, and none of it can be properly explained or talked about on the episodes because you don't talk about production on the episodes all that much. So we're going to have to get some like watered down explanation in the episode from somebody in the diary room like, well, you can do this, but you can't do this. And why? Because who gives a shit? It's just like, what are we doing here?

[01:06:34] This please we need we still don't even know what happens if D gets evicted. We don't know for sure what happens if Yash is in the final three and that counts as an HOH like. It's starting to get very annoying. I like this power in concept and not in concept. I like this power in terms of like it's introducing a whole bunch of interesting variables in the game that like Yash can't nominate these three people. But like this is getting too red tapey.

[01:07:03] Like we need to know the clear rules of like who's allowed to say what, you know, like this is stupid. This part of it is stupid. I always thought that like and I could be wrong, but I always thought like in the past when it came to stuff like this, it was like you simply just cannot lie. It was it was as simple as you cannot use production as a strategy. If you have something, you have to be honest about what it is. You have to be honest about what it does. Like you can't you can't why all of a sudden can you.

[01:07:31] So he can she can't lie that it is a bribe, but she can lie about what the bribe was. Aren't they kind of one in the same like right? Because at that point it's clear that Barrett believes that the power can't operate like this. But it can. And D saying that it can and production is saying, well, she can lie about what it does. But since when can you lie about what it does? Like it.

[01:08:03] It's so annoying. Oh, man. Yeah, I. I don't know. I don't know. I honestly do think that, you know. Your suspicions are correct. Most people's suspicions are correct is that they kind of just they don't know either. They're kind of making it up as they go. They're trying to see like they kind of like that. It's causing all of this.

[01:08:31] Conversation and stuff on the feeds, especially like so late in the season when things start to slow down. I think that they like that the house guests are having an issue with it. And so they're trying to figure out how to keep this engine going. But it's only going to make it even more confusing for you guys to put it in the show because like, let's face it. You guys are already confused about what to put in the show half the time. So it's just going to be really interesting to see what they do with this. But more power to them. I get. Oh, no. Less power to y'all. What are y'all doing?

[01:08:58] I just I think I think that what they should do is just for the for all these powers introduce a physical object or thing. She has a little slip. She has a thing. She doesn't have the slip. She doesn't have the slip. Yash doesn't have the coin. It's all given back to production.

[01:09:20] So like, I think that they that like Devons should have to have a diamond power of veto with a slip of paper that explains exactly what the diamond power veto doesn't exactly when it expires. And he should have to hide that shit. And so nobody finds it.

[01:09:37] And I think that if Yash is going to sign a contract with a bribe, there should be a physical scroll that he signs his name on that has exactly the rules of the terms of the contract that they have to keep around. And it's and then it's like, OK, well, if we're going to expose the contract, where's the contract? And then in that can all be in the show. Right. Like, and he's like, oh, you want to lie about this?

[01:10:07] Whips out the contract on the show. They all read it like that makes sense. Right. And it's fun to watch. Exactly. It's not like, well, is she allowed to lie about this or is she not allowed to lie about this? Yash, are you allowed to lie about this or are you not allowed to lie about this? Production, is she allowed to lie about this? Like. Yeah, it's I mean, I agree. I agree. I mean, I.

[01:10:35] These are this is one of the things like you were saying before that Survivor, you know, does pretty well. Right. Like, do we like all the powers that have entered Survivor? No. But at least they know how to back them up. Like this all just feels like it's backed up on false currency. OK, it's all counterfeit and nobody knows what to do about it. OK. Yeah. So Drew tells Melody he does believe that Yash did agree to this.

[01:11:04] So Yash cannot win HOH. Melody's like, yeah, that's a problem. Again, she's quite pissed about this whole situation. Dee talks to Devins. She says, listen, I respect the move. And I was like, I don't. It's a stupid move. He shouldn't do this. He's not going to make it to the end. I'm not going to vote for Barrett in the end. He's not going to win this game. And she's like, well, come on. If he gets there, we got to respect it. You know, like, come on. Come on. Come on, Devins.

[01:11:30] And Devins is like, well, listen, at least Drew has shown that he thinks his best path forward is with us. She's like, I don't know, Devins. He's like, listen, I think he feels pretty burned by being put in this situation. I think he was just as surprised as us that this was coming. She's like, Devins, you have to open your eyes. Come on. Shut up, Dee. Stop fucking talking to me like I'm an idiot. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You being serious? She was being serious.

[01:11:59] I'm really sorry. Oh, my God. And then they start laughing and it's fine. It's all good. Oh, my. No, he snapped real quick. He's just he's been like cool, cool, cool guy. Dad, Rick Devins this whole day. He's getting put on the block. Yeah. And he finally was like, shut the fuck up.

[01:12:28] Like the all this all three icons have been thrown in jail together. And he's like, there's still a way to escape. She's like, there's not. Yes, there is. I have a spoon. We can start digging. And yeah, that was funny. That was great. Dee talks to Angela and tells her about it. And Angela also is like, well, I wouldn't vote for Barrett to win.

[01:12:57] And he's like, come on, Angela. Come on. We would vote for Barrett to win. And and they talk about, well, obviously, they're going to like make it their life's work to make sure he loses this game. But if he makes it there, they got to give it to him. Drew Barrett and Melody hang out for a while. And Drew, again, who notices, he says this later, that Barrett's in a truth telling mood.

[01:13:22] He asks Barrett about when he was on the block, because remember, Melody told him that Barrett was going to vote him out. And now that he's heard that Barrett was going to vote Devin's out, I think he's been wondering. And and Barrett's like, well, listen, before I tell you this, I want you both to know that I'm drag. I'm doing my best to drag both of you to the end to the best of my ability. Drew, I was voting you out if you lost that blockbuster. So I needed to win that. Yeah.

[01:13:54] That's fine. That's fine. Yeah, I get it. Like you're just too close. It's felt like you're too close to the vets, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Barrett's pretty cutthroat, huh? And then he takes the soonest opportunity to leave that conversation.

[01:14:22] Even the weasels are looking at him go across that yard like, ooh. Oh, Drew. And it's like it's with Barrett, like with Barrett's back to them as well. It's just like. Oh, my God.

[01:14:50] I don't I don't get what I like. That should never have come out of Barrett's mouth, in my opinion. He could have denied that to his grave. He could have been like, yeah, I pretended like I would have. But yikes. Especially when you still need.

[01:15:17] You need for one of these icons to go. You need one of them to go. Drew is the key piece here. If he's going to keep Drew off the block, he needs to make sure Drew stays good with him. Especially because Drew still has so much sway over Melody. Like Drew becomes one of the most important people in Barrett's game. Don't give him something like that. That's not something you easily come back from. You were going to take me out of the game.

[01:15:47] Just like that. Like I felt so good with you. And now I know for a fact that for weeks you were secretly working against me would have voted me out. Like that's it's one thing that he would have voted Devin's out against his will. It's one thing that he kept all that from him. But the fact that he would have voted him out is like, man. And like what's the plan after that then as well?

[01:16:15] It's just like it just opens up so, so like you already you already know. I mean, your suspicions about Drew are correct. Like you know how in he is with these vets, particularly with Devin's. I don't know why you think things are suddenly going to change with you being HOH.

[01:16:42] Like I understand the thought process of like, oh, well, you know, let me be honest before it gets back to him. I want I want to be the person that's telling him this. I don't want anybody else. But why do you think he's going to be OK with it just because you're HOH right now? Like and then he has two people that you can still fall back on because only one of them can leave. Only one of the vets can leave. All it takes is for one of them to win. And then he'll vote you out.

[01:17:10] Like, oh, yeah, I just wish that like this Barrett had showed up a little sooner. I just feel like there were more options then. There were more there were other people in the house that were more like minded like he is more so than Drew is. Right. And that's why I'm like, I can only take my my foot off his neck a little bit for this because it's like you're doing it and it's great and it's rah rah.

[01:17:37] But the road is still so rough right now. And you just made it 10 times rougher. You took the wrong exit, buddy. Like. I don't know. I don't know, man. Well, Drew basically goes straight to D after this because, A, I think he's feeling pretty upset about it. And B, it's a great opportunity to show that there's true separation between him and Barrett and that he's not behind this move against the vets.

[01:18:07] Drew, who, by the way, is totally right to want to stay in good with the vets this week because Drew, if he can't get Yash out, still needs the vets. Like he's still like those are they have nobody else. Right.

[01:18:24] Like if he can stay good with them and especially if D leaves and it's and it's Devins and Angela, then like he still has some room to maneuver versus like the vets being mad at him because of Barrett's move. And Yash still needing to to nominate like basically everyone in the house is after Drew after this. Yash contractually obligated to it now and he knows it. Who else is he going to work with at this point? Right. So so he goes to D.

[01:18:54] Now, granted, he needs to be careful because he doesn't want to be the renom here, but he goes to D and he tells D about this. She has a really hard time understanding it at first. She's like, no, no, you were safe that week. I made sure he's like, no, no. Barrett told me he would have voted me out. So I would have been gone. She's like, no, you I made sure. No, he's like, I'm not blaming you. I'm saying Barrett Barrett Barrett would have turned on me. She's like. That doesn't make sense. I'm saying Barrett would eventually she gets it. She says, I'm so sorry.

[01:19:23] I didn't realize I was putting you in danger. He's like, it's fine. It's Barrett was going to do it. And so they talked about that for a little while. Barrett talks with Taylor and Yash. He says this is when he says he got verification about the bribe. They go upstairs. Barrett talks with Drew up in the HOH room. He says that he again, he believes that Yash is probably telling the truth.

[01:19:49] Barrett says he's like, it's possible that Devin's believes that it was real and binding, but it's actually not because that would be ridiculous. It's again, it's just like such a stupid thing. Drew asks if Barrett would be down for him to use the veto on Angela and put up Yash. Then Yash is up on the block with Devin's and D. They can all battle it out together. And Barrett is like, yeah, that's fine with me. I'm chill with that.

[01:20:18] And it's not just that he says like agrees to it. They continue to talk for a while. And like that is like the established plan forward. Yeah. According to Barrett and Drew. Now Barrett doesn't really tell anybody else this plan. I don't know how actually down he is for it. But like Barrett is saying, I will do it too. I will win the veto and use it on Angela to put Yash on the block. So who knows? Veto draw is likely happening right now.

[01:20:45] So we'll see who ends up not playing in the veto. Obviously, Yash playing in the veto makes a huge difference. And you could see what happens there. By the way, I did have this thought too. That like if I'm Yash and I truly felt like I was burned by like with this whole situation. And they did believe me. There's a world where like I just go screw it. I can't I can't target the icons.

[01:21:14] Might as well work with them for now then. And I will tell you that the icons are feeling similarly. Hey, if they're all going to come after us, we might as well work with the one person that can't. So so we'll see what happens there. But Drew says he does now believe that Evans was probably never truly full. Finger guns.

[01:21:40] Yeah, that he was probably riding the middle of the crossovers because he agreed to this because Drew believes it. Drew believes that Evans agreed to this plan with the three of them being safe and Drew and Barrett being left out. So so that's worth noting. But again, like Drew, it doesn't really matter for Drew. He still needs any kind of numbers that he has.

[01:22:03] So so he's still looking to obviously ideally take Yash out, who he still believes that has to nominate him. And he says, quite frankly, also, like even if even if Yash didn't accept the full deal, doesn't really matter. He's still going to nominate him. He's still not made Drew. So like so that's sort of where Drew stands here. Yeah, I mean, like I said, he's put himself in a very interesting position where he you know,

[01:22:32] his options are very, very limited before they weren't as limited. He was he was self-limiting them. But now at this point, it is it kind of just is what it is. You got someone that can't that has to come after you. You got vets that are kind of relying on you right now. So it's sort of. You know, he take out Yash. Sure, that buys you another week of safety. But then you're still sitting with these icons.

[01:23:01] Now Barrett is probably looking at your game feeling like, OK, so what are you going to do? And now you're in this position where it's like, do I ride full hard with these people? Because it's they can go after Barrett, who I know was going to come after me. So I can just get him out. But then you're still sitting with the eye. It's just like, you know, it's it's he's in a he's in this position where it's like there is a path for him to get further. I just don't know what the path is for you to win at this point.

But basically, you can see on the board here, if you're watching the video version, the four people on top, Barrett, Angela, Dee, and Devins will be playing. And then there's four on the bottom or in the middle here, Drew, Melody, Yash, and Taylor. Two of them will be playing. Two of them won't be playing. Now, Devins has already expressed interest in picking Drew to play in the veto. I would imagine. Then there was also the idea that Dee and Angela were like,

[01:26:49] well, maybe we would want Melody to play because she's less likely to win. So if any of them are choosing, if any of them get a houseguest choice, they're likely picking either Drew or Melody. And that includes Barrett. But odds are a lot higher for Drew and or Melody to be picked than Yash or Taylor. They are much less likely, I would say, to be picked.

[01:27:15] Though Taylor could theoretically be picked if, again, they want a theoretical lower chance of somebody playing. Whether or not Barrett actually would choose Drew is another question. He said he would. But we don't still fully know if he actually wants Drew to win and to use the veto. So we'll see. But it does definitely matter who wins this, especially because I would say we know this is BB Comics.

[01:27:43] And I think that Drew or Yash could both be favorites in that competition. I was about to ask, was Angela around for BB Comics first season? I can't remember. I believe she was. Do you remember how well she did at it? I don't think she did well. Okay. Because I'm just thinking, you know, I wouldn't count her out just yet only because it's his second time.

[01:28:09] So it's like maybe she has a little bit more of like knowing what to look for this time. I might be a little bit more familiar with like how, you know, production might switch things up. So like keep an eye on her as well. But I ultimately agree with you. I think that Barrett, at least for me, I don't know so much about Drew, but I think Barrett is definitely more of the favorite in this. So we'll see. Oh, so maybe she did. I thought she said she, I see, because she talked about it. I thought she said she was there.

[01:28:36] It either happened right before she left or right after she left. Yeah, because I know that she was sixth place. I was like, was it before or after? I can't remember. Because she said they waited to do it until everyone was in the, everyone was playing in the veto. So obviously that could mean final six. She went home at final six. Right. But she, I guess, was not there in the comics. Thanks. Okay. Well, nevermind. Forget what I said then. Either way.

[01:29:05] Um, so, uh, so who knows? Devin's D and Angela spend a long time talking in the backyard. Um, and they kind of like talk through again, all these various scenarios with, uh, who to pick for veto. Should they just try to work with Yash moving forward? Um, Devin says he does believe that they've kind of got drew at least to some degree. Um, Devin says that they should tell everyone that they are voting for Barrett if he makes it to the end.

[01:29:31] Uh, just let that be known to everyone so that they recognize that they should take Barrett out because they're trying to sink Barrett's game as much as possible. Uh, and they do, you know, uh, they do start that, uh, yesterday as well. Um, and, uh, Taylor talks to Yash. She's in the kitchen. She says, Yash, tell me the truth about this bribe. Mm-hmm.

[01:30:00] But it's just, he says, the bribe is that I can't put D up and the other two Mickey Mouse. It's not binding. He goes, are you sure? Yeah. Yash, please tell me the truth. Okay. But you can't tell anyone. You can't put any of them up. Who else is left to tell? Everybody already knows.

[01:30:29] He says, no, but I would have went home that week. So like, I had to accept it. Uh, so he does admit it to Taylor here. Uh, I don't think she will tell anyone. Um, again, cause it's like, where is she going to go? Like, uh, I mean, like, you know, she's probably the person that he would try to protect. But basically what he says is that like, he's not, he can't win HOHs.

[01:30:57] He's just a veto and blockbuster guy. Um, so, uh, this is like the second stage of, uh, of like being put in the spot for Yash, which is like, okay, yes, I did take that deal in that way, but I promise I'm throwing HOHs. Because if he wins an HOH next week, there is a world where he is forced to put up Taylor. Uh, and he knows that now, quite frankly, I think if a vet leaves, he should still win anyway.

[01:31:26] Uh, I think he should get it out of the way. But, um, but from what he's telling Taylor, at least, which obviously he's, he's incentivized to, he doesn't plan to. Um, but, uh, but Taylor, I think knew he was lying the whole time, finally got it out of him. Uh, so really the only person that seems to have any amount of belief in Yash not fully taking this deal is Barrett. But though Drew and Melody are like, we think it's this way, but it could be the other way.

[01:31:57] Um, and now he has admitted it to Taylor, but I don't think she will rat him out. You should just work to getting D up out of there so that we can finally see what, what happens if D goes. Because at that point, and then you just frame it to Barrett, like, look, like, she's not being truthful about what this power does, but if you have any reservations about it, we can just get rid of her this week and that way we don't have to worry about it. You know, just campaign your ass to take her out. And then it works that way. And we don't know.

[01:32:25] They'd probably ask production and they'd be like, well, uh, we're allowed to lie about it. So what does that mean? You're allowed to, what are you, does it happen that way or not? We reserve the right to fulfill and find out, check your contract, which we were editing right now. Um, Drew and Melody spend a long time talking and hanging out and flirting again, uh, late into the night.

[01:32:55] Um, he does tell Melody that he is for sure choosing her over Barrett now that he just found out that Barrett was going to evict him. Um, but, uh, for the most part, they just continue their, their stuff, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I really do wonder how they're going to move outside of this because, um, sick of how they're moving inside. So either. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:33:24] So, but yeah, uh, a very, a very interesting day. I was, uh, I was very pleased, uh, to have this data cover because it was, um, very topsy-turvy and it's causing, um, the strife within the, the icons alliance.

[01:33:42] Um, it's causing, um, Barrett and Drew to really have to come to terms with what their games really mean now that they have been working with these vets for so long, because it's rough for either of them, even with this big upheaval. Um, so it's really going to test their chops more so for, uh, Barrett.

[01:34:01] I'm not really interested to see what Drew does after this, but, uh, you know, I, I'm, I'm proud of what Barrett has done, but now it really becomes crucial about like what conversations you start to have. Um, what, who, who you tend to target and who you think should go first and how you make that happen. Um, and who you bring along with you because we're in the end game now, honey.

[01:34:28] And if you want that 750,000, this can be a great week for you in the end. People can look back on this. We can be like, this is, this is what you did to clear a path, but this was just you like cutting through one, one little bush. There was like at least 10 more that you need to cut through in order to get to that win. So I'm very interested to see what he does. Yeah.

[01:34:53] And, uh, people are saying with regards to the Drew melody, uh, interaction there that like, well, melody was also voting him out. Uh, but you have to understand like the difference is that number one, melody was always honest with drew about it. Like from that very week, she said, I w I'm voting you out. Um, and number two, uh, he had been lying to melody. Yeah. Melody has always been an information deficit. Right.

[01:35:20] Like in his mind, like he's always been in lockstep with Barrett. Uh, he's always been, he's always shared all of his information with Barrett. They've been in all of the alliances together. They have a final two since day, day, whatever. Uh, and, um, and Barrett secretly was going to vote him out and he had no idea for weeks. Um, and we heard him say in the diary room, I think it was on, on locked last night. He said that he wasn't sure.

[01:35:47] And this was before, this was before any of this stuff happened. This is before Barrett won HOH. This is while drew was still HOH. Drew was saying that between Barrett and melody, he wasn't sure who he would want to actually sit next to in the final two. Uh, and so I think that with Barrett winning this HOH, making this big move and revealing all of the things that he was actually doing when drew didn't realize has genuinely convinced drew that he is now locked in with melody over Barrett for sure.

[01:36:16] Uh, and, uh, and that's because number one, Barrett's more likely to win against him now. And number two, he found out that Barrett was doing a lot more behind his back, was willing to vote him out and successfully lied to him and tricked him into believing he wouldn't. Um, so, uh, I think that's the major difference here. And I do think this is a meaningful interaction that drew is going to now choose melody over Barrett. Yeah. I mean, sorry, go ahead. Well, and, and also I think he's, he's learned more about devins as well.

[01:36:44] Like I think, I think the events of the day have really pushed drew toward melody more than anything else, both, both with devins and with Barrett. Uh, and, um, and obviously that's also the thing that makes most, the most sense for his game to be in the final two with melody. Uh, it gives him the best chance of winning the game at this point as well. So at this point, yeah. Yeah. Um, yeah.

[01:37:07] And I mean, and that's kind of what happens when you play, it can, it can feel so intoxicating to play, um, with powerful figures in the house for so long because they protect you. But it also, it also makes you feel like you're doing a lot because you're seeing everything. You tend to know more about what's going on. Um, so it makes you feel like you're in it, but all it takes is for someone to do the same thing that you're doing,

[01:37:33] but also be a little bit more self, you know, be more self-interested. And then all of a sudden, everything that you thought you were doing, it, it just, it loses its value very, very quickly. Um, and I mean, that's the, that's just the risk that you take whenever you get so well entrenched with people that just have higher profiles in the game than you do. So, cautionary tale.

[01:37:58] I mean, going to the end with Melody could very well be his winning game, but I just don't know how the two of them get there, but we'll see. We'll see. We will see indeed. And what a day of feeds it was. There was, uh, a wild set of, uh, of events. So many secrets being leaked out. So many arguments happening, big nominations made. Uh, the week is not over though.

[01:38:27] There's still a lot happening here. The vote between D or Devin's, uh, still very much up in the air in terms of who would be targeted. Um, I think that, uh, that there's a lot of reason for people to want Devin's out, uh, over D because he's closer to Drew and, uh, he's like all that stuff, but also D has pissed enough people off. And she's the glue as, uh, as Taylor says, that D is like the glue between Devin's and Angela, which is kind of true.

[01:38:57] Um, they might not have a choice depending on who, depending on who wins blockbuster or who wins the veto. So, and then do not forget about Yash who is not out of danger either. If Yash does not win this veto and somebody else who will use it does, uh, like Angela D or Devin's or even Drew or Barrett, then Yash very likely at this point is still the replacement nominee. And if he loses the blockbuster likely evicted because.

[01:39:25] Drew and the two icons that are not on the block will likely vote. Right. Yash out. Now I say likely because who knows with these vets. Yeah. Um, but, uh, but that is very, uh, a very, um, possible outcome as well. So see all kinds of stuff. I tend to hope that Barrett sobers up from his crazy day and starts to think about that.

[01:39:53] Yash, we know I'm just a little bit more clearly because if your ultimate goal is to get rid of one of them. Um, and you win that veto, just don't use it. Don't use it because it's just at that point, it's not worth the risk. It's not worth it. I agree. I think if Barrett wins it and uses it, it pisses Yash off and he wins HOH and he targets it. Like, you know what I mean?

[01:40:15] Like if Drew uses it, I think that actually works well for Barrett because Barrett has no option but to put Yash on the block and Yash is still not activated. Um, and there's a chance that Yash leaves, whatever, right? But if he keeps Yash off the block or if it's not his choice to put Yash on the block, uh, then, um, Barrett picked Yash to play.

[01:40:39] If he's back, apparently Barrett picked Yash, chose Yash to play. Uh, which is quite interesting. All right. Well, we should probably, so I'm going to let Taron go. So I can't imagine he is continuing to make Drew very happy. Do we know the other player yet? Uh, I'm very curious.

[01:41:08] I honestly, with Yash playing like that, uh, I, I believe Yash will win, uh, comics. I think Yash will win BB comics. I don't think it matters who else is playing. Um, okay. Drew's upset. No one picked Drew. Well, of course, Drew would be mad. This is the thing. It's like, I was literally just like walking the line between don't piss off Yash and don't piss off Drew. It's like the ideal scenario for Barry here.

[01:41:36] I don't get why he would need to pick Yash. I don't even think Yash would have been annoyed if he hadn't been picked. Um, or maybe, maybe there's, or did he pick Yash? Like house guest choice or he just picked Yash's thing? Maybe that's, uh, that's, you know, uh, I would assume that, uh, that if, if people are talking about him picking Yash, it would be a house guest choice. If he just picked Yash's chip, then we're, no, this is useless, useless to even talk about.

[01:42:05] Um, Taylor also perhaps got picked by Angela. Um, okay. All right. Uh, so two people that are not inclined to use it. And if he did pick Yash, then I'm going to believe that as of right now, Barrett is probably also not inclined to use it. So it's three against three. With odds of Barrett and, uh, and Yash so far. Yeah.

[01:42:35] They're saying how he got house guest choice and picked Yash. I think that's a mistake. I think, um, I think there is a lot of things he could have done with house guest choice that did not include Yash. Uh, whether it was drew or just picking like melody. Uh, I think even just picking melody would have been fine. Melody probably would have been the best bet. But obviously the idea is like, he doesn't want the veto to be used. I don't think drew would have used the veto if he told him not to.

[01:43:00] Uh, I don't know why he would have continued to mislead drew into thinking, yeah, this is what I want. And then go ahead and pick Yash. Like he's immediately burning drew again and he's keeping drew safe. So it's like, this is a guy that's still going to be in the house. Like why, why are you antagonizing him like this? Why are you telling him you're going to vote him out? And then tell him you're going to pick him for the veto and then not so weird. Maybe it's just exposure.

[01:43:28] Just tell him you're not going to pick him for the veto. If you don't plan to pick him to the beat for the veto, maybe it's just exposure therapy at this point. Maybe he's just like, listen, drew, we're going to get to the end of this game, whether you like it or not. And this is the way I know all you will see the truth. Maybe drew will come around. Oh boy. Either way. That seems to be where we leave off for today. A big update because there's a lot happening here.

And at this point, given that Barry did this, it's possible he's because just to remind you, his plan was always to renom Yash. Yes. It's possible given that he just picked Yash to play in the veto, that that's not true anymore. Maybe he has changed his plans and is planning to renom drew. That's pure speculation at this point for me.

[01:44:24] But like, I don't get why you would pick Yash to play if you planned to also renom him. It seems like at that point, you just renom drew. So, we'll see. All speculation on my part.
