I'm your host, John Armstrong, and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds.

[00:03:08] It was day 67 in the house, and we had the nominations. And honestly, not that much else. This was a pretty slow day. This is going to be a pretty basic update here. We all kind of know what's coming. Yash barely even had his HOH conversations. There's not too much here, but, you know, we're keeping up to date. We're making sure we're crossing our T's, dotting our I's,

[00:03:38] and making sure that we know who Melody is going to vote up between Barrett and Drew. Yeah, absolutely. Talk about it. How you doing, Chris? I think I'm doing better mentally, physically, and spiritually than everyone in the Big Brother house, so I have no complaints. I'm so excited to be on another update with you today, Taran. But I was going to ask, can we do something kind of whimsical just before we get into the update? Please. Maybe whimsical is the wrong word.

[00:04:07] Can we both flip off the camera so the viewers can screenshot it and send it to someone they hate? Can we do that? I don't know if I want to be a part of sending somebody hate with a flipped off finger. This is Barrett's job, no? It's Barrett's job, but, like, we could join him in it, you know? I don't know. I just thought it might be fine. Fine.

[00:04:33] See, I feel like that doesn't feel whimsical to me. Yeah, whimsical might have been the wrong word, but you know what? It's early on a Saturday morning here on the West Coast. Yeah, Barrett spent, I believe, close to two hours talking to the cameras yesterday in one single session. He's having a tough time.

[00:05:02] I think that probably the most relatable thing in the world to me is, like, getting completely socially drained by a certain point of the season and just losing the ability to be in all these groups. But I think Barrett's, like, the only one who's not sick. So maybe isolating was he had the foresight. You know what? That's actually fair.

[00:05:30] Plague Watch 2026 is happening, and at least he probably won't cough and lose the veto because of that today. Then you can't say the same for everyone. No, you can't. Yeah, if you're not aware, Devin seems to be the first infected by this. There's a sickness kind of going around. You have to assume people are like, how?

[00:05:59] It's like there's tons of people. Can I be the friend who's too woke about this for a second? Go ahead. This is late stage capitalism's fault, because tell me why someone who works on production of Big Brother didn't feel safe to call in sick when they were very deeply ill. And now the people that are like, in theory, should be safe from sickness once they're all in there together.

[00:06:27] 67 days later are all sick because someone went to work sick because either they're also sick in their head and think that they like it's morally bad to take a sick day or their workplace doesn't feel safe for them to take a sick day when they need it. That's bad. Yes, I am the former.

[00:07:03] You can't recover. I feel internally like I was faking it if I took a sick day. There's a lot to unpack there, Taryn, and we could do that on another. I'd be so happy to talk to you about it.

[00:07:33] I love radicalizing people to take their sick days. I agree with you. Like on an intellectual level, I just I don't have the internal fortitude to be like, I'm sick. That's how it feels to me when I do it. Oh, I'm sick. I can't do it. I feel like I that's how that's me. But, you know, obviously I shouldn't feel that way. Yeah, no. And it's the same thing as when someone will be like, don't panic.

[00:08:02] And it's like, oh, thanks. I never thought of that. I just won't panic. Like it's it's you can intellectually understand something and not be able to to personally feel it and go there. But listen, we can get there. I have faith in you.

[00:08:19] Anyway, I so, yes, probably somebody went into work sick and and luckily for me, me going into work is me walking into this tiny little room. It's upon myself. If you clock in for a shift sick, it's it's not really negatively impacting anything other than you. So it's a little different. But like you're going into a workplace with people like just.

[00:08:47] Yeah, I go to the office and someone's coughing and I'm just like looking at them like. Why are you? Why are you doing this? And I know it was like what a week and a half ago or so that D mentioned hearing someone cough in the walls. So. So somebody got Devin sick and the the main thing here is Yash is starting to feel like he's getting sick as well. Yash says it's a good time to get sick. He's a show.

[00:09:16] He's safe this week. But depending on the timing, I don't know. I don't know about Yash. But like if I start to get sick on like a Friday, I'm definitely still in the throes of it by Thursday. And that's when the double eviction is. Yeah. I mean, it just depends on what it is. Obviously, we're not doctors. But it's like sometimes you get like a little, little and you're like, you're OK in a couple of days. But then sometimes you get that little cough and that is just the beginning.

[00:09:46] And you are building up to like a very bad upper respiratory situation. And here's the thing. OK. We haven't seen it yet. I really feel like specifically Yash and Drew are the two most likely candidates to get full blown man flu as well, where they'll be like, I don't know if you know this, but men actually get more sick. And then they act like babies about it. Like we haven't seen it. That's what I don't want to be.

[00:10:15] Well, but there's a difference between like feeling sick and taking a sick day and then like making it everyone else's. It's fine. That's irrelevant. I'm the chat is sick of me. Like I, I could see that happening for both of those two young men specifically. That's in my brain. We haven't actually seen them do it, but that's just my theory for what could happen if they start feeling a lot worse soon. Hmm.

[00:10:45] Well, I mean, listen, end of the day, Devins was sick when he won the blockbuster on Thursday. So probably not going to be that impactful in terms of competitions, although something like the upcoming today sword on the button competition. And I'm not talking that I'm not calling anything else. Yeah, well, that would certainly be one that would suck to compete. You know what?

[00:11:12] It's going to suck to compete for all of them because Yash is going to be in there and it's confined space coughing up a storm. Is it confined space or is it in the backyard? Because if it's in the backyard, at least that like has some ventilation. And maybe while they're doing it, production could go in and disinfect every service in the house, perhaps. Good point. We don't know. Last season's was up in a tiny room or at least tiny little space. So you're right.

[00:11:42] So we'll see. But hopefully, hopefully a bit more ventilation. Of course, as you know, Yash is the HOH despite having gotten sick. His plans are to target Drew. He doesn't know exactly how he wants to do it. The night before, Taylor had told Melody about why they flipped to keep D. Basically just saying it's Drew's fault because he broke the ceasefire immediately after we made it.

[00:12:12] And so we decided we needed to keep D. Melody tells Barrett here in the morning about what Taylor told her the night before. And Barrett just goes, what are we doing here, man? He walks away. And what are we doing here? Yeah. Yash talks to Melody also briefly.

[00:12:42] Melody says, hey, Taylor told me about the Drew stuff. He's like, yeah, yeah, that did make a difference. Yeah, yeah. In terms of the decision. She says, of course it did. I'm done with Drew. I've given him too many chances. He doesn't deserve to make it further in this game. This is important, right? There's not a lot of intrigue in the week. That's why we spent about seven minutes talking about people getting sick at the start of this update.

[00:13:08] The only real intrigue in the week is what would happen if Melody won the blockbuster with Drew and Barrett still on the blockbuster. Because theoretically, the vets could vote out Barrett over Drew, which is their preference. But they can't do it alone because Yash breaks a tie and Taylor and Melody could vote for Drew to leave and Yash would break the tie for Drew to go.

[00:13:35] So Drew needs Melody's vote if he wants to stay against Barrett. And does he have it is a question. Now, the reality is it's not super likely that the two of them end up on the block together by the end of the week between Vito and Blockbuster. But it's worth tracking. Yeah, it's like it's Friday. Noms are today and we are just already at next Thursday.

[00:14:02] And again, like I do think a big part of that is everyone's low energy. Everyone's feeling bad in some way or another. And it's just like, OK, well, let's think about Thursday as if nothing changes, even though obviously like something is likely to change. Yeah. And I mean, what changes obviously is we talked about this yesterday, but if the veto is used regularly, Taylor goes up on the block.

[00:14:31] Is there any real reason to take out Taylor? Not really. But, you know, survivors like to flip votes. Yeah. And they love to flip them. And it's it's also the thing of like. I do think and you talked about this with Matt about like whenever someone's talking about emotions, like everyone's always getting into like, is this real? Is this fake? I think the same thing happens with basically like anything anyone says in the house.

[00:14:58] And so it's like everyone's like, wow, Melody just bought what like what they said about Drew, like Bear just bought what they said about Drew. And it's like whether they buy it or not, they kind of have to act like they do. Like it's it's OK. You don't have to love everybody's gameplay in the house. But like I don't think anyone who's left in this game is just a total idiot. There's some maybe non-factor situation going on. But like I'm like, it's like dumb.

[00:15:26] Yeah, I mean, we talk about this every season, but like there's a difference between buying what somebody's selling if they're they're on the block and you have their game in the palm of your hand and buying what somebody's selling when they have your game in the palm of their hand. And you're relying on them to keep you safe that week. It's like, well, yeah, of course, you're going to like buy what they you're like. You're way more incentivized even internally to believe it because you want to believe it, because if you believe it, that means you survive the week.

[00:15:56] So it's like, yeah, especially for Melody. Everything she says gets brought back to everybody else. So it's like she can't even like in a private conversation be like, that's not what it really was. Right. Like she just kind of has to go with it. And it's why the HOH is such a powerful position that you should use, not just because of being able to nominate people, but because of what it does for you socially. It makes people believe you more like that's a good power to have.

[00:19:18] So Yash talks to Taylor. He says he talked to Melody, and Taylor did a good job, you know, that they're straight, like they figured this out already. He talks through options with Taylor, and he says if it's three noms, you would be the renom. So question, just thinking out loud, if you go up initially, we'd have people willing to use the veto on you, like Barrett, he could use the veto on you, and then I could even,

[00:19:47] I would be able to nominate Dear Devins. The bribe wouldn't be in place. She's confused about that. He explains that mathematically, if it's impossible to not nominate, or to not not nominate an icon, then he would be able to. But she says, no, I would just, I would rather you put up the three of Barrett, Drew, and Melody. Because like, what, are you taking a shot at the icons? Like, do you want to put me up first? Because if you do, it's kind of a dead giveaway that the bribe works for all three.

[00:20:17] And he's like, you're right, you're right, I won't do it. But, you know, it was a thought, it was a thought he had, it got shut down. There's also a lot of talk about like, what he would do if there were two nominees, what he would do if there were three nominees, because he doesn't know, and seemingly doesn't know until basically the nomination ceremony. I'm not going to really bother too much with all of the talk about what he would do if there were two nominees, because there weren't two nominees.

[00:20:46] Yeah, and like, this is the same point as last season, right? Where we got the last week with three nominees. And I think we can all agree, just stop it, either a jury or like, I don't know, last week. But this is just so crazy for Yash to be HOH and be in a position where he could be nominating four out of the six remaining people. Like, that's just, the numbers are too light.

[00:21:15] Well, wait till you see the nomination graphic I've got. It looks ridiculous. Oh, no. Um, so, uh, he talks to, him and Taylor both talk to Barrett. Um, he says, I, I, to Barrett, I hope you know that me choosing D is not me going against you. It was just that I'd rather sit next to D on the block than Angela. Uh, and really the second reason was Drew, bro.

[00:21:45] Uh, and they talk a lot about Drew and how much Drew sucks and how much he sucks and how much, uh, he is, uh, terrible at the game and how pathetic he is and how he's constantly sucking up to the vets and how they just can't work with him. Everything's his fault. Everything. Exactly. I mean, you know, another thing to, like, pay attention to here is just how, how often this works. Like, this is exactly what D did to, um,

[00:22:15] to Kamu when, when she flipped on Kamu. She was like, oh, it's actually, Haley's fault that this happened. Just because we all hate her so much and you, you were close to her. This works. Like, I wrote about this a little bit in my book, but, like, scapegoating is just, like, one of those, uh, like, immediate tendencies with groups, especially isolated groups, where, like, it's just such an effective strategy,

[00:22:44] unfortunately, to, uh, to be able to go, oh, this bad thing that happened, maybe not even that happened, maybe this bad thing that I'm doing to you, it's not your fault. It's that person's fault. It's Drew's fault, actually. It's not my fault? Oh. Well, screw that person. If that person wasn't around, you wouldn't be doing this to me? Yeah. Well, I'm not with that. No, I, get that person out of here. They shouldn't be here.

[00:23:14] I don't want them here. Hmm. Good job. Yes. I'm still doing it to you, but yes. Well, and what's so kind of, I don't know if fun's the right word, but, like, when it's happening with, like, it's getting blamed on Haley, or it's getting blamed on Drew, it's like, those are such easy people to throw under the bus, because, generally speaking, like, they're giving off a vibe that is not necessarily working for a lot of people in the house.

[00:23:43] In different ways, like, it's not the exact same between the two of them, but it's like, Drew, I don't know what he could have really done before coming into this game, but, like, I don't know, maybe looked in the mirror and practiced, like, appearing sincere when he really is, because I don't know what else he could have done at this point for people to believe what he's saying when he's telling them the truth, because they just don't. But you know what? It's fine.

[00:24:13] I don't think he should be looking in the mirror more or trying to be sincere because I think both of those things are... Well, not sincere from Love Island. Come on. Come on. Just put his hand up like this. We're still making Love Island references in September. you said French fries the other day and, like, not for nothing, there's no way that's what was happening. Yes, I clarified that. Because I feel like maybe some people, even with the clarification,

[00:24:43] believed that's what you meant. Well, that's what I was saying, that some people believe in French fries. French fries in the hot tub in front of Angela would be the actually most insane thing in the world. Right? And thankfully, it's not what happened. So we can, we can use this slower day with not as much going on to really clarify for the people that take every single word that comes out of your mouth as the gospel truth. Even when you're joking.

[00:25:14] God forbid a guy joke, Lord. Well, Yash says that he's thinking that Barrett would need to go up against Drew on the block to win the veto. So, and he'd have to put Mel, and I'm have to talk about the two nominee situation because it's relevant when he's talking to Barrett, that he would put Melody up as the replacement in the event that there are two noms. And Barrett's like, well, my first question is

[00:25:44] you can't put Devin's up. And Yash says, well, the thing is that I did like have a gentleman handshake on it and I wouldn't want to go back on that handshake. You know, like I, it's because, you know, I made a handshake deal. And so, I just like, on a personal level, don't want to go back on that. It's not that I accepted a bribe that prevented me from doing it. It's that I just don't want to go back on the handshake, which is

[00:26:13] just a ridiculous excuse. Because even if Barrett believes that this is true, it's not, like, it's worse. I feel like the bribe at this point is a better explanation. Like, you also made a deal with Barrett. Why are you, why are you nominating Barrett? I love the idea of Barrett and Yash having a conversation where Barrett's like, hey, you know, you can bounce checks in the Big Brother house, right? Because, you know,

[00:26:43] Yash isn't in the game. He might not know that yet, but he is also contractually obligated. Yeah. I just imagine Barrett's just like, well, so I just, if I shook your hand, then I'd be good? That's what you're saying? Well, because that's what honorable men do, Taryn. They shake hands and they stick to what they shake hands over. Obviously, I think that's what, you know,

[00:27:12] Caesar and everyone was doing. I can't remember. And oh, yes, Caesar and Drake. Yeah. Honorable man. Okay. Please. So, he says, listen, Barrett, if you'd prefer it to be Drew and Melody up on the block, I'll do it that way. And Taylor is immediately like, what? Because Taylor had been saying don't do it that way because you don't want because if Barrett used the veto

[00:27:41] on Melody or Drew, she would go up and she doesn't want that. So she's like, but you couldn't use the veto if that happened. And he's like, I wouldn't. I wouldn't use the veto. And then after he leaves, Yash is like, yeah, I would. I mean, if he doesn't want to go up, I'm not going to put him up. Taylor's like, but again, it doesn't really matter. This is not two noms. Yeah. Um, so D is going to spend and I, and I do not mean this as an exaggeration

[00:28:11] much of the day, uh, crying about, uh, primarily about Angela leaving. Um, just like how abrupt it was, how she wasn't able to, I mean, we talked about this yesterday, how she wasn't able to say like a proper goodbye. She feels like she had to lie to her in terms of like about like what she was campaigning and the fact that she thought she might have a chance to stay. Um, and she just keeps like she had a dream about her the last night. Like Angela was like attached to her hip

[00:28:39] for the last 66 days. Uh, and, uh, and she's just like really feeling the loss. Um, Drew tries to comfort her. Then later, Devon's tries comforting her, but, uh, but it's, it's really gotten to her. Well, and ironically, the only person who could truly understand how D feels right now is Barrett because they both got rid of each other's best friends on their HOHs and like not stoked on how Barrett's HOH

[00:29:09] ultimately went. He definitely mishandled some things. Uh, but I do think there's just something like kind of beautiful that in the world of B, they both got out each other's best friends. Well, uh, speaking of getting out your best friend, Melody and Barrett convene after Barrett's conversation with Yash and Taylor and they talk about being how, how just upset they are. It's, and it's a brief,

[00:29:39] another brief conversation, but they're just really annoyed with Drew. They're so done with him. If he goes this week, good. Um, now again, remember, all of this is incentivized. It makes sense. Like, in what world should Melody and Barrett say, actually, it's not Drew's fault. He shouldn't leave this week. They're taught, they know that they are the only options to leave this week. So, of course, Melody and Barrett

[00:30:08] should say to each other, screw Drew. He should be the one that goes. It would be ridiculous for them not to. Which is not to say that I don't believe them in this moment. I think they are both genuinely frustrated with Drew. They both genuinely blame Drew for the situation that they're in. And I do think at this point in the day, for at least, they both genuinely would intend to vote Drew out over the other. It's just, will that hold, especially with Melody, is kind of the primary question. Yeah,

[00:30:38] and I think that that just all comes down to, is Melody going to find out about any other thing that Drew has said behind her back. Like, how mad is she? Like, because she goes in peaks and valleys of being mad at Drew versus, like, okay to hang out with him. And so, it's really going to depend if it ultimately ends up, you know, Drew versus Barrett on the block at the end of the week. What is the mood towards Drew from Melody in that moment? What has he done

[00:31:08] for her lately? Yeah. And it also could matter, like, you know, again, this would be, I think, an icon's push more than anything else. So what are they bringing to Melody in terms of, you know, hey, we keep Drew, it's the four of us against Yash, really the four of us against Taylor in the HOH competition, we're taking a shot at Yash. Is that, is that something she would be interested in?

[00:31:38] You know, that's another question. It's, we'll see. We'll see. Well, and the thing too is like with like showmantic relationships, having one half of your showmance go out sometimes can help you fade even further, you know, into the background a little bit. And I would even be thinking in a normal situation for Melody, Drew going to jury early and having time to like talk you up to the other people could be useful for a jury vote. But I don't think anyone's going to believe what Drew has to say.

[00:32:08] Well, first of all, Drew won't talk her up. Second, even if he did, no one would believe what he said in the jury house any more than they do in the actual Big Brother house, I don't think. So like, it's going to depend on the way Drew talks about her in the house. I worry for her jury chances if Drew goes to the jury. Exactly, right? It's like talking about a normal situation versus talking about the situation we're in, which is something I've struggled with kind of this whole season because I feel like a lot of times this season, normal, regular gameplay

[00:32:37] has not worked because of the kind of ethos of the house. Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm pretty adamant, like, obviously there are very few scenarios where voting out your number one is a good idea and especially like a showmance. But this is one of those instances, I think, where like she is Barrett's number one

[00:33:06] and she honestly has a better chance of beating Barrett than she does Drew in the end based on what they're talking about at least in the house in terms of their jury votes and perspectives. And I do think she can actually trust Barrett more than she can trust Drew in the game. And Barrett's probably a better competitor. So it's like, it kind of does make sense for her to keep Barrett around, I think, but it'll be pretty dependent on the situation. And again, none of this is probably even all that relevant depending on

[00:33:35] how the final noms shape up. So, Yash talks to Devin's. He wants to just get Devin's advice on, you know, the nomination situation, two noms, three noms, so on and so forth. It's all very simple though. The options are just right in front. It's just very obvious. Barrett, Drew, Melody, if there are three, two doesn't matter. Devin's does say he prefers

[00:34:05] that Barrett leave, but Yash says, well, I would like to be Drew and Devin's says, that's fine. I don't, I'm not going to push. This is your call. You know, and so worst case scenario with three nominees, Melody ends up leaving. Oh, well, that would be in the event that one of Drew or Barrett win the veto and then the other one wins the blockbuster and it's Taylor versus Melody on the block. Devin's is saying that obviously, Melody would leave there

I do think that Devin's like, I mean, he said it out loud. He said he prefers Barrett to leave. I think that really the main thing here is that like, I assume he just thinks that one of them is going to win the blockbuster. Like, it's just not even worth even coming close to pushing

[00:35:05] anything right now. They haven't even played the veto yet and there's a good chance one of Barrett or Drew win the blockbuster. They're still kind of thinking it might be ropes. So, you know, trying to push for a vote flip here. There's not really much point yet. Yeah, exactly. We just, the board isn't set so you can't really be playing the full game. Yeah. [00:38:33] She's just like, I'm sorry, I feel stupid. I'm crying so much. And he's like, listen, I never expected this from you. You know, listen, don't worry about Angela. She's in a better place. She's with Lala. Yeah, you know, it's at least, you know, in this situation for sure that she is actually in a better place than the Big Brother house because she's in the jury house.

[00:39:02] They start talking about how far they've gotten in the game, how unbelievable it is. And she's like, I can't I really can't believe they saved me. I honestly thought I was gone. And she reaffirms that she did not throw that blockbuster. There she genuinely thought in the moment that like there's no way they're actually going to keep me. And Devin's is like, well, I had faith, you know, once they sat me down earlier in the day, I really thought

[00:39:32] they were keeping us. And it's like, oh, Devin's, they were not keeping you. They weren't keeping you. But I will say that blockbuster was embarrassing for every single person involved, including Devin, even Devin's, even though he won just for the record. That was embarrassing. Come on, bro. So. So they talk about that. Uh, and, uh, and I, I do think it's, it's very

[00:40:01] like, uh, it's such a representative thing about their games that D was staying, but, but was paranoid that she wasn't. Uh, and Devin's wasn't staying, but it's like, I probably was, uh, yeah, that's that tracks. Um, apparently drew was crying like 30 minutes before the eviction, like leading up to the eviction because he really thought it was going to be Devin's or D. Uh, and they, they, they have clearly softened on him a bit.

[00:40:30] Uh, and again, like talk about it here. Like they would prefer for him to stay, but he's probably the one that's going to be targeted. So we'll see. Um, and it also could mean nothing because like Barrett could win veto and then drew in the blockbuster and then they're both there. Right. Uh, Devin says that, uh, he, he really thinks that if, Hey, you know, Yash, if Yash wants to take them down to the final four, like I'm I'm down with that. Like if he's really feels that confident

[00:40:59] that he can, he can win against us. Um, and, uh, D's like, yeah, but I mean his bribe is over like, and we're better competitors. So, I mean, listen, we, we should, we should be taking the shot at Yash next week. Like, come on. And Devin's like, Oh, there we go. That's, that's the D I know. Uh, she's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you think about it though? Like we should do it. Right. And he's like, well, I don't know.

[00:41:29] I don't know. Maybe we can talk about it later. I've learned right. Right. Like, let's focus on what's in front of us right now. Uh, and she's like, okay. All right. Well, listen, fine. Us, us making it to the final two will defy all odds. It'll be amazing. They'll defy all odds. I mean, the thing is, yes, Yash is a very good competitor. I, it's hard to say, like, I don't think, I don't think Dean and Devin's are better competitors, but like it's, there is still a very competitive field left here.

[00:41:59] And so I believe she was referring to the, to the fact that they would be better competitors than, uh, whoever remains of Eric, Drew and Melody. Therefore, Yash would be looking to target them. She doesn't believe that Yash wants to go final four with them. Yes. Okay. Absolutely. I, I was misunderstanding what, what you were saying there. Um, the idea of like, well, if he wants to go to final four, this is like, you might not be able to stop him. So you should hope that he wants you with them.

[00:42:29] Well, again, that's why again, you're, you're incentivized to believe it. Cause you're kind of like, you hope that it's true. Uh, but obviously this is, this is what we expected from, uh, especially D, uh, that, uh, I mean, I, I will say I probably didn't expect it this soon, but the fact that D is already talking about doing this, uh, you know, if we've seen D before granted, she don't no longer has Angela to bounce thoughts off of. So maybe this is a different version of D but, uh, she'll

[00:42:58] definitely be looking at this. I would say again, if in the double eviction, either Devin's or D wins HOH, I still think that probably the call here, not only like the play for them, that is the good play, but also the one they're likely to do would be melody and whoever, you know, drew or Barrett, uh, on the block. And then if one of those two wins the veto or if one of Barrett or if one of

[00:43:28] Devin's or D wins the veto, D is pushing hard or she's just in charge herself. It's time we put you, we put Yash up. He, there's no blockbuster. After we take Yash out, we're in, we're just running this game. Right. Uh, so, uh, definitely not looking great for Yash coming into, uh, Thursday. Yes. He is in a very, very tough situation with only one opportunity to keep

[00:43:57] himself safe. Comma. But the only way I don't see Yash winning a double eviction veto is if it's a clown ship situation. I certainly, he has by far the best chances of winning the veto. Yes. Uh, it's, you know, it's just like sometimes it's if, if you're, if your entire game rests on one competition, that's rough because that one competition could just be a crapshoot.

[00:44:26] Uh, it's, it's when you have upwards of three competitions in a single week. Uh, it's when you have, um, you know, multiple people competing where if any one of them won, you'd still be good. Uh, that's when like things really start to stack up. So, uh, this is probably, I think the point, the point of what we're talking about is that like, this is probably outside of the final three HOH, the best chance anyone will have to evict Yash coming up in the double eviction.

[00:44:56] Absolutely. And he made it so by winning this HOH after keeping D. Yeah. You can't help but wonder if this were Angela talking to Devin's, uh, and Angela was like, I don't know, maybe we take out Yash. Uh, Devin's definitely still turning it down and way less likely to be persuaded by Angela's if she was even thinking along those lines. Um, not to mention the

[00:45:25] fact that, uh, Angela would be, uh, theoretically a lot easier to beat in a double eviction veto. Um, Drew does talk to D, uh, Drew's campaign is primarily to the icons. Um, I assume this is because he assumes that he can get Melody's vote. I don't think he's assuming it, assuming it, but I think he is focused on making sure that he has the icons first because if he doesn't have the, the icons and doesn't matter where Melody votes, um, so

[00:45:54] he's still just continuing to, Hey, you know, I'm loyal. It makes sense for your games to have me here because Yash wants me out. He doesn't want Barrett out. And so the second I leave Yash and Barrett might want to work together, which is pretty true. Uh, and he says, listen, I'll be loyal like a dog. I will, I will be your sword and your, your, I'm sorry. I'll be your shield and your sword. Um, and, uh, she's like, I believe you. I believe you this. I feel like this is most of their conversations these days

[00:46:24] is Drew just constantly pitching himself and D just being like, I believe you. I believe. I mean, what else is she supposed to do at this point? Huh? Exactly. Yeah. So finally we get to the nominations and Yash of course nominates Barrett, Drew and Melody. Uh, and there are more people with

[00:46:52] labels on them than just regular house guests. guests. There's the HOH, three nominees and just three house guests who are just sitting around. And if, uh, if I wanted to, I could put little safe icons on D and Devin's right now. Oh, that would be fun. You know, just have like as much going on visually as possible, um, for the graphic, but then it is, there's a lot of nice negative space now, which is nice as well.

[00:47:22] So that's good. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, Barrett, Drew and Melody on the block. There's really almost nothing else that happens in the day. They, uh, go to bed quite early. Um, Barrett does have his like two hour camera talk, uh, where he says that, uh, three nominations at final seven is fucking bullshit. Um, and I'm like Barrett, do you not remember last season? It's the thing is, is yes, it happened last season,

[00:47:52] but it is still bullshit. Two things can be true. Well, it was mostly that he was so surprised, like for so long, he was like, no way would they do that. And the same that he was like, no way would they let, you know, Yash have a bribe that protects all the bets. As I mean, I've, I've seen Barrett's, uh, blue sky pose. I think he was mostly worried about the organ hours at this point last season, as were many of us, myself included. Yeah. Uh, he says to quote

[00:48:21] Vince, I'm a have not I'm going to be malnourished and I've got to win a veto. Really? And he's right to say that, you know, I, that's one of my favorite things Vince said all season long last year. So I'm glad that it got a redo this year. Uh, he also says that he, he does recognize that Yash could just be bullshitting him about the D the handshake and

[00:48:50] about the fact that, you know, he's not the target. He could be the target, but it doesn't change the fact that he just needs to win. So he's just going to keep moving forward. Yeah. And you know, you're not willing to do it, but he goes send this to someone you hate. Send it to someone you hate. A true hater. Listen, it's I can hate harder is the thing. I think people are like, oh, good. Cursed is such a hater. Oh, I could be worse.

[00:49:21] And I honestly, I will be if the chat doesn't chill. Oh, boy. Oh, well. Hot damn. Oh, that was also an all time stinger. This season has been giving. This season has been giving. Uh, that's that's genuinely. That's really it. That's all I've got. Cursed, anything else from the day that you want to talk about?

[00:49:50] I know. I think that we've covered pretty much everything. Oh, Melody said something that made me laugh for the first time this whole season when she said that Drew's hair in the picture on the memory wall looks like a halfie and Hershey's kiss. That made me laugh. She got me with that one. She really hates his haircut. She she's like made it better, but she was like it looks so much better longer. Uh, and they all including Drew hate the his picture on the wall.

[00:50:21] I mean, most I feel like most memory wall photos are not the the best representation of of how the person actually looks. Unfortunately. Yeah. Well, uh, today we will have, uh, a veto competition. Uh, we'll see, you know, I, the, the, the sword competition, it lasted like what? Like a couple hours last season, but then in the past it's also lasted,

[00:50:50] uh, like eight hours. Um, so like I doubt they're going to want to make this one a long one. It's just a veto comp. Uh, but we'll see. He's going to be down for a while. Yeah. It's going to come down to the weight of the sword. Last season, the sword was much heavier than it had been in previous seasons. I think in season 26, Leah was up there for like 11 hours, but it was also, I believe in HOH that time? Question mark. It's usually an HOH.

[00:51:20] I don't think they've done it as a veto before. Okay. That's what I thought too. Uh, again, it's not the pressure cooker big brother production. You cannot gaslight us about this. We know what the pressure cooker is a thing that is defined. We know what it is. This competition has at least four different names in the past. Okay. Uh, so yeah, it's all going to come down to how, um, heavy the sword is. And the only thing that I can think of, of why production could want

[00:51:49] it to potentially last longer is. Perhaps production is also sick, much like the cast and they want the feeds down for longer because that's just one less thing to be monitoring. I don't know. I don't know how TV production works. Do not at me. Uh, so I think the comp production is probably more in, uh, involved than regular production. True. That is true. Um, so we'll see. It's all going to come down to the sword.

[00:52:19] I think people could cough and lose it, which is why I do think talking about how sick everyone is, is relevant. Uh, though it does also feed into just how slow yesterday was because no, like, I don't know. You're not feeling well. You want to have a bunch of conversations that aren't even going to matter.
