[00:01:10] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for August 22. I'm your host, Jaren Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 46 in the house and we had some nominations. We had some powers and we had some nonsense. And with me, I'm going to go ahead and see you guys.

[00:01:40] And with me to talk through all of the way. I'm going to talk through all of it. It's Kirsten. How are you doing, Kirsten? I mean, I'm worse than last time I got to talk about the season, but that's fine. The vibes were absolutely rancid yesterday. And so, of course, I'm on the live feed update to talk about it. Yes, yes. There's a lot, a lot to talk about. We are going to try to make sure we get it all in here today.

[00:02:11] And yes, we're going to have to jump straight in here. As you know, D won the HOH after Kamu's eviction. Her plan the night before was to nominate Taylor, Lala and Yash.

[00:02:31] That is the plan coming into the morning. Part of the other part of the plan, too, is to pull in Haley this week, use the week to pull in Haley and and therefore not nominate her. That's why they're not backdooring Yash. However, and Angela is going to work on Haley some more. They even talk about restarting the old tool shed alliance in the morning.

[00:02:54] But but yesterday on the update. I was talking about potential ways that he could use her power. One of those ways would be, hey, what if you made a deal with Yash that he can't nominate you, you know, or whoever else of your choosing on the next time he wins the HOH? That seems within the rule set for the the bribe power, theoretically, because it's a one time, one action use.

[00:03:25] And then, you know, you could make a deal with him that's like, hey, and if you do this, I won't target you this week. And then you can always go back on it if you want. He is locked into making that deal. He has to abide by the rules of the power. But if you offer him a deal on top of it, that is not enforced. You can just go back on it and still target him this week if you want. So so why not? You know, you this is the better use of the power.

[00:03:53] It's use it for use it when you are in power. And you can essentially kind of like force somebody into a contract. Which is we didn't need any more real life analogies in and a verbal contract is legally binding. So a token contract in this case. Yeah. Just change hands to make it feel real. Yes.

[00:04:23] Yes. And so in in the bizarro Twilight Zone world that we're living in, I think it was a matter of minutes after I came up with that idea or at least expressed that idea on the podcast. Dee was talking to the cameras about how she has an idea. As though she were listening. Yeah. Big brother. You incepted that, actually. That's crazy.

[00:04:53] I'm skeptical. She tells the cameras. She tells the camera she has an idea. She wants to pitch it to Devons. So Devons comes in. She says, I think we need to use the power to solidify ourselves moving forward. The power works for the next time you are HOH. So it's interrupted. Angela joins. They talk about the plan. Yash, Taylor, Lala on the block.

[00:05:23] Mallory, the renom. They get around to talking about Drew. And Dee is like, you'll never believe it. Drew was just telling me that Maladie and Mallory apparently don't trust Barrett now because he's too locked in with the icons. What is he doing? It's so annoying. He's playing the middle. It's just like, stop. And it's like, yes, stop. Stop throwing your allies under the bus to the icons because they don't like you when you do it, Drew.

[00:05:52] Then Dee brings up the bribe again. And she continues the conversation there with Angela involved. The idea would be we propose or she proposes a bribe to somebody like Yash to say he can't nominate any of the three icons the next time he wins the HOH. She's in a position of power right now. He has almost no choice but to agree to it because if he declines it, she'll just nominate him.

[00:06:20] And she can kind of offer him whatever she wants. And then she can go back on it if she wants. And Angela's like, oh, that's amazing. It's his big freaking brother. It's big freaking brother. And so this is now the plan. And they're going to go and grab Yash. And then the feeds cut for the actual offer.

[00:06:44] When they come back, Dee has successfully given the bribe away. And now it is red and it is on Yash. That is how we are going to... Okay. That Yash now is the recipient of the bribe.

[00:07:06] And this little icon on the screen, if you're watching the video, is going to be a visual reminder that he is weighed down by this heavy blood money. And he can no longer nominate Angela, Devens, or Dee in the next HOH that he wins. These powers, they're really coming for Yash. He got screwed by one last week.

[00:07:35] He is now future screwed for another week. I really feel for him. Yes. So in the long conversation while the feeds were down, he agreed to the bribe. And Dee and Devens were in the room when he did it. That they all agreed he would not target any one of them. In the process, he also divulged as much information as he could. Obviously, he had planned to throw Drew under the bus as much as possible.

[00:08:04] And this gave him an even more sort of solid platform to do so. Dee talks to the cameras afterward. And she says that Yash was up there for a very long time. And that she no longer trusts Mosh Pit after all of what Yash told her. So she wants to pull them all up and have a conversation about what Yash told her with the Mosh Pit. With the mission of it all landing on Drew.

[00:08:33] So again, it's just this is the idea of this entire meeting that she's going to make right now. To call right now is to trap Drew into some kind of like contradiction. Make him seem shady. Give her an excuse. Give her an excuse to what? Not sure yet. Or she can still put Yash up because she lied about keeping him safe. It was just a handshake as we were just talking about.

[00:09:01] Could you imagine I put Yash up, lie to him and he still can't put us up? That's crazy. But she hasn't trusted Drew ever. And her heart is telling her put up Drew, not Yash. Yeah, it would just be so embarrassing for her game to get ruined by a 22 year old kid. So gotta get gotta get rid of Drew.

[00:09:26] Mind you, again, Drew was only ever in the middle position to begin with because they literally asked him to be. And he has always chosen the icons over everybody else. He's got a shifty vibe. I think that he really reminds D and Devens of Rizzo. And they fear him for that reason. And, you know, Melody and Mallory are going to talk about like, when should we start winning comps? Because we really need to make sure.

[00:09:55] And it's just this is just another reason why you should not be throwing. They knew she had this power, too. They could have come up with the fact that she could have used it in this way. You know, if they had if they had, you know, thought hard enough about it and asked D enough about it. But no, instead, they were they allowed D to win the HOH, her to pull in Haley. And now she wants to take out Drew, which is obviously not that great for them. And I say that Mallory is the one that threw it.

[00:10:24] But still, Melody didn't want to win anyway. Yeah. Best time to win a competition was yesterday. The second best time is right now. Like, let's go. Yes. So, Yash, in the meantime, he is downstairs and he is not telling anybody about this deal. What he is telling to Taylor is that he threw Drew under the bus in his conversation with D

[00:10:51] and that if he's not nominated, he would assume it's because he's going to be backdoored. Now, this is a lie, right? He now knows that he's not going to be nominated or at least thinks he's not going to be nominated. Because he took this deal. But he's not going to tell anybody that he took this deal, at least not yet. Now, D calls for a meeting with Moshpit. And all of Moshpit comes upstairs.

[00:11:16] And she immediately goes in on kind of mostly Drew questioning what happened with the first night of Yash's HOH. And Drew tells the truth. Fully just the truth that he went up there and Yash was set on targeting Angela. And Kamu was set on targeting D. And they also... Kamu was pitching that they put up Barrett instead of Haley.

[00:11:45] And that he was trying to shut that idea down. Now, he exaggerates a little bit his part in the Barrett versus Haley of it all. That was less intense than he makes it out to be. But it's mostly the truth. They also ask him about... They're also asked a little bit about the summit meeting. I call it the summit. And I'm glad I did because giving it a name has been really helpful. Because they always keep coming back to it. This is when Lala was HOH.

[00:12:14] She had a little wine. And her, Taylor, Yash, and all of FAP talked about going after the icons during Lala's HOH. And, of course, Barrett is the one that introduced this piece of information. Barrett, a couple days ago... This is when I crashed out on him. Because I was like, what are you doing? Why are you kicking Drew when he's down? There's no need to do this. Because he's lying about what is happening here. Barrett claimed that Drew led part of the conversation against Devens when all he did was...

[00:12:42] And he had already told them this. He answered Lala's pointed question about, you know, which icon... You know, you wouldn't go against Devens, would you? And which icon? And he said, well, I guess Devens is the scariest. And she said, thank you. And he said that exactly how it went down. But Barrett tried to make it seem like it was something else because he wanted to be their favorite. So he gets questioned about that.

[00:13:11] And Dee basically is saying like, hey, Yash has a different account of this. Why don't we bring him up here and hash this out a little bit? And Drew's like, whoa, shouldn't we maybe do it in private? And Mallory's like, yeah, I don't know if I need to be here. And Devens is like, guys, playing the middle is over. And he goes and he gets Yash. Well, and this is the thing.

[00:13:35] Like, obviously, they basically threatened, you know, FAP to do what they wanted on Thursday. And that was very effective because FAP is playing scared. And so now it's like, OK, well, we can continue to scare them and we can get what we want out of them because they will not win the HOH. They will not go against us. And so it's like, OK, yeah, why not bring Yash in?

[00:14:01] And like, this is not dissimilar to two weeks ago when they had like group combos in the gym and Angela got brought in and she's like, why is Yash there? Like, yeah, we just bring everybody in and ask them questions now. Yeah. So they grab Yash, they pull them in and they ask Yash to tell them what happened on his HOH. And now I'm live during this.

[00:14:30] I'm streaming during this. And I'm saying like this actually should be good for Drew because Drew has the truth on his side. Drew has been telling the truth. Drew's account is primarily the truth. Yash's account is a lie. So this should be this should be much harder for Yash. And initially it is. Yash's account is like, yeah, so we had a conversation in the HOH room and we talked about targeting Haley.

[00:15:01] And then a few days later and they're like, no, no, no. Back back to back to night one. What was exactly happening? Who was pitching what? And Yash says, well, I really wanted to target Haley and Kamu really wanted to target D. But yeah, I mean, I never wanted to target any of the icons. I was looking to target Haley, which is a lie. And it conflicts with Drew's story.

[00:15:30] And so they go, Drew, is this true? Drew? And Drew says, yeah. Yeah. He didn't want to target Angela. He wanted to target Haley. That's it was Kamu that I was talking Kamu out of. It was Kamu that was trying to target D. Nobody wanted to target Angela. And they're like, and Yash is like, yeah, see, I don't know why he's lying for me.

[00:15:55] But yeah, the thing that's I mean, Drew is not telling the truth here, which is perplexing. And we do not have time to get into why he might be making these choices. But like Yash comes across as very truthful, even when he lies. And Drew comes across as shady as hell, even when he tells the truth. And so this is never going to go Drew's way. Well, maybe there's a world where it could have maybe. But but not when he actively lies for no reason.

[00:16:25] And he's just he's clearly scared to get into a confrontation with Yash or conflict with Yash in any way. And so he agrees with Yash and they keep going back and forth on this. And Angela is like, I'm just going to say it. Drew, you said that Yash was targeting me. And Drew's like, what? That's that's not exactly what I meant. I think maybe you got confused.

[00:16:52] I think that what I was saying was that Yash really wanted you to go on the block. Did I not say that part? I because I meant to say that part that he wanted you to go on the block, not that he wanted to that you for you to go. And and and this just completely falls apart for no, no reason. There's absolutely no reason. It's just stick to your story.

[00:17:21] It is a true story. And don't let Yash lie in your face and then agree with him and make you look like the liar. But that is exactly what happens. Now, this is basically how the rest of this conversation goes. The feeds do cut for much of the rest of it. But but it seems like this is the major sticking point for the entirety of the meeting. Yeah. And it's you know what? Drew woke up and he decided to lie.

He says, I'm so sorry. I should have said something else. I just, I didn't want to reveal any crossover information. You know what I mean? Like, I didn't know what we were saying in front of everyone. And it was like, this is a terrible excuse. His information had nothing to do with the crossovers.

[00:19:19] And they recognize that. And they're like, dude, it didn't have anything to do with the crossovers. What do you mean? He was like, yeah, you're right. I kind of just got confused. And I also just, I don't know. I didn't want to like gang up on Yash. It kind of felt like I didn't want to bully Yash or anything. And they're like, what do you mean? That wouldn't have been bullying. And he's like, right. Yeah. And this is just not going well at all for Drew. No, and it's again, bullying is a word that has it.

[00:19:48] I do fear that the word bullying has been misused so many times that like the colloquial definition perhaps is actually changing in a very dumb direction. But it's like, Drew is not capable in front of a large group of squaring all the things that he said to everybody. And so by putting him on the spot like that, he did not know what to do. And so he made the wrong decision.

[00:20:16] And he's going to have to live with the consequences of that. Yes. So D asks Barrett to stay after everyone else is sent out of the room. And she tells Barrett, I'm thinking of putting Drew up on the block. How would you feel about that? And Barrett is like, you're asking, sorry,

[00:20:45] you're asking me to have an opinion. Well, I mean, I think it's a bad idea. And he's like, no, I think it's a good idea because Drew is really shady. You just saw what happened in that meeting. And remember, you told me about him at the summit. You're the, I mean, it's your information I'm going off of basically to nominate Drew. Drew's like, right. I just feel like maybe

[00:21:15] you kind of piss him off and he comes after you and Melody and Mallory come after you if you do this, especially if he doesn't even leave. Maybe, I mean, but you're right. No, you're right. No, I'm not going to say no. I mean, yeah. If you want to do that, that's, I mean, sure. I'd be with you. I mean, and see, this is the thing where it's like, I would love for Barrett to be pushing back more, but I do,

[00:21:43] like D's kind of general attitude in this HOH is like, I don't know that, I don't know that it would actually have done anything if he had. So I still believe in Barrett and even though I wish that he had pushed back a little bit more, I think he's also like after that conversation where Drew is lying for no reason, it's kind of like, oh, maybe this is kind of a sinking ship. Like, he obviously is willing to just lie and do nothing. So,

[00:22:13] he's not helping Barrett if he's going to do that. I've got to disagree. I really feel like this conversation was like the last straw for me. I mean, if there even was a last straw, just the whole conversation was him like, this is definitely a bad idea. It's terrible for my game, but I'm not, yeah, that's fine. You can do whatever you want to my game, D. And he's like, so are we,

[00:22:42] what are we doing now? Are we working with Yash and Hayley? And D's kind of like, maybe. He's like, okay. And he's just like, he's just being informed like the shape of his game to come and he's just going to sit there and take it. And you know what? Maybe it will work out for him, but like, you know, it would just be nice if he was a player of the game.

[00:23:14] Yeah. I wish he was more active. I don't, I don't think he's not a player, but we don't have time to argue about it and it's really not worth it. So, in the meantime, Drew is going on an apology tour. He says the meeting was not his best showing. He's starting to kind of recognize that he just screwed up. I just screwed up. I'm so sorry. I backed down. I'm bad at confrontation. I feel terrible about it.

[00:23:45] He's talking to Devin's about it. He's talking to FAP about it. And D continues her one-on-ones. She's talking to Lala and then to Taylor. Lala tries throwing Drew under the bus. She says she's never come after D or Angela. She's only ever come after Devin's, which is true, mostly. Taylor tries throwing Haley under the bus because she's been talking with her a lot, saying that Haley was trying to get her to not trust D. Neither really work.

[00:24:15] D is pretty set on what she's looking at doing, which of course is nominating both Taylor and Lala. D then tells the cameras that Taylor and Yash together, that is dangerous. Taylor was clearly in the way that she was pitching things, showing that she's working with Yash, that they tried to pull in Haley and they might try to do it again if they're both still in the house. They still got Lala if she targets Drew,

[00:24:44] maybe going after Drew. Maybe it doesn't make a lot of strategic sense, but Barrett was okay with it, so I kind of feel like we just got to go for it. And so she's pretty set still. She talks to Melody and she just goes full in. She says, Melody and Mallory ends up joining. She says, Drew is shady. I really want to work with you and Mallory. I really want to work

[00:25:14] with you too, but Drew is super shady. And they were like, yeah, Drew is pretty shady. Uh, he, well, here's, here's what's going on. He told me that he can whisper in your ears and control what you do. He told me that you two were wavering on the Kamu vote. He told me that, uh, that, you know, like blah, blah, blah, blah. He, and by the way, he was willing to vote you out, Mallory, on Kamu's HOH. He was going to do it. Um,

[00:25:44] and they're like, wow, Drew, come on. Uh, and she's like, and so I'm thinking I'm going to nominate him this week. And, uh, Melody's like, oh, okay. I mean, I, I don't know. I feel like we can maybe still trust you a little bit. Uh, and Mallory's like, no, I don't know if we can, Melody. Uh, and they're like, okay. Um, and so, uh, they are down, but they're not down in the way Barrett is down. They are going to talk after this, like,

[00:26:14] fuck. How do we save Drew? I thought it was, it's just so wild. And he's like, I'm rocking with you girls. And it's like, you didn't talk to them for half of the last week. How are they supposed to believe you're rocking with them? And it's just kind of, I mean, like, listen, there's a lot to get to. And unfortunately I have, uh, this, a very, very rare morning that I have a bit of an out, a bit of a hard out, uh,

[00:26:43] for this podcast. So, uh, I'm trying to get through as much as we can here. Um, but, uh, it's just kind of wild that D is making the decision to go after Drew at all, considering that he has been incredibly loyal to the, to the crossovers, to Moshpit. Um, we talked about how he said to the cameras that he is going to choose FAP over crossovers. Um, but that's, he is loyal to Moshpit more than anything else. Like he is, that's, he's talking about

[00:27:12] when they get to seven, he would choose FAP over Mosh, over crossovers. And like, how even strictly true is that is another question. Drew is probably one of, Drew is, Drew is actually for sure the most loyal person to at least Moshpit. Uh, uh, and, and quite frankly, Drew is the most loyal to crossovers because Barrett isn't loyal to crossovers and Barrett's not loyal to Drew. Uh, Drew is the most loyal crossover for sure. Um,

[00:27:41] and meanwhile, Melody and Mallory, even though they threw this competition, this HOH, they are actually gunning for D and taking Mallory out instead of Drew would make a ton more sense than taking out Drew, but it is what it is. So, another thing happening, of course, during the day, what's going on with the, with the time capsule? Uh, and could that theoretically change the results of the day? Um, well, we find out.

[00:28:12] Drew is called to the diary room. He comes out. No punishment. He's got a power. Oh my God. Is it the coin? Were we psychic? No. Drew is never gonna be a have-not. Come on, bruh. Just the concept of a never-not pass

[00:28:41] being placed in the same category as the diamond power of veto is so crazy. Like, I just would love to have been in the room where they decided which powers and which punishments and like the person who said, what about a never-not pass? Fire them immediately. What do you mean? It's pretty wild. Uh, it is, it's, it's very, I mean, listen, it's kind of funny,

[00:29:11] uh, that, uh, he is in deep trouble and, uh, and he, he gets a power and it's a never-not. It's, it's funnier than getting a punishment because he, it's, it's supposed to be a power, but it's so not a power. Um, but it is, it is what he gets. And so he's going to tell, immediately tell Barrett and Devin's about it and then he's going to go up and talk to Dee. Uh, and it's a long,

[00:29:40] drawn out conversation, uh, where initially he's up there like, I got a power. Uh, I got the never-not pass. Can you believe it? And she was like, you know, you can't lie about your power. Like, yeah, I'm not, not lying. It's never-not pass. America picked me because they know we're together. All America, Mosh Pit. We're all in the Mosh Pit. Literally every single member of the Mosh Pit

[00:30:09] got chosen by America except for Barrett. Sorry, Barrett. Um, yeah. I think if Barrett had been on the show more, it could have been him. So, uh, he sits down and she's like, listen, this is not a time for celebration. That is the vibe she's giving at least. Uh, he says, listen, I do want to apologize for the meeting. That was not my best showing. I really feel bad about it. I really should have stood up. I'm just bad at confrontation,

[00:30:38] so on and so forth. But she just continues to press. She asks again and again, what happened the night of Yash's HOH? And he continues to tell the truth, the truth that he did not manage to fully tell in front of Yash, but the truth. Um, and, and I, and, and he's telling it in a way. I mean, it's pretty believable because it is the truth. Uh, but he doesn't seem to still fully believe it, but it's hard to like fully keep questioning him.

[00:31:08] So she goes again, like, well, tell me again what happened at the summit. Uh, because she's heard from Barrett that his account is different than, uh, than what he actually said. So she has one, one contradiction from Yash, one from Barrett and she definitely trusts Barrett even though Barrett lied, like just fully lied about Drew's involvement in the summit for no reason. Um, he tells an accurate representation of what happened at the summit as well. Uh, and she's like,

[00:31:36] I just don't know, Drew. I just don't know. And he says, listen, I get it. I get it. I have been playing all sides and I know that you probably look at me like I'm shady because I'm everywhere because that's what I've been doing for the crossovers from the very beginning of this game. I've been bringing back all of the info to you every time. Have your secrets ever leaked from me? No, that's because I bring all of the information to you. And yes, I might look shady because maybe like a thing or two has looked bad and maybe I should have fought harder

[00:32:06] for you on Yash's HOH. I wasn't okay with you going up but Yash was gonna do it. Like I couldn't talk him out of it. All I could do is make sure that three crossover members were not on the block. And I've like everything I've done has been for the crossovers from the very beginning of this game. Every single diary room I do is like doing the crossover signal. I've rocked with you guys. I've played for you guys. I have burned the other side completely with this last commu vote. That's why they're throwing me under the bus and trying to get me nominated.

[00:32:36] I can't play with them anyway from moving forward at this point. Like I am just I am with you and it sucks that it seems like you're considering nominating me and she's like I am considering nominating you. And shock Pikachu face. What? And the conversation lasts forever because they keep repeating the same points. Eventually she basically kicks him out of the room and she says you need to go

[00:33:05] apologize to Angela for that meeting right now. Like I mean right now. Like stop talking to me. Leave this room right now. Like Drew leave. Go and talk. Drew go and talk to Angela right. And he's like yeah totally I just you know I'm still you know I'm still with you. Okay. And you know like I I'm I'm loyal. Okay. Just okay. I'll go talk to Angela. The step off the treadmill is funny 10 out of 10 like

[00:33:35] every time it's funny. It doesn't matter when you know it's coming. Yeah. He needs to go apologize to his big brother mom Angela. Yes. After he leaves details the cameras maybe I'll look stupid after the season but I think he's shady and I think he's been shady all season. I mean to be fair he is shady and has been shady all season just not to D.

[00:34:05] Yeah. This was I said this was her best Keanu impression because that's what Keanu used to say every time he was wrong. Maybe I'll look stupid but wrong opinion. And unfortunately that was every time he opened his mouth about any opinion or prediction. Melody and Mallory talk this is when they say they don't want Drew gone. They need to find a way to save him. They don't they honestly don't really care that much about what D told them. I mean they care but like it doesn't matter.

[00:34:35] They still need to make sure that Drew stays this week. In the meantime D and Devin's talk and D tells Devin's that Barrett is down and that even Melody and Mallory are down. He says perfect. She's like he's like what was their conversation with Drew like? She's like ah he's just trying to save his ass. With the truth but yes he does want to save his his ass. Devin says you know part of me

[00:35:04] does believe Drew is loyal um and D's like well but like I mean listen we don't have to actually evict him you know uh we can still backdoor Yash or take Taylor Lala like or whoever like it doesn't really matter uh he's like oh true true um so plan is still in place uh D tells Haley about it uh and in the meantime Drew is apologizing to Angela um and it's feels like

[00:35:34] a very genuine meaningful apology he feels really bad about not standing up for her because she was the subject of the disagreement between him and Yash uh and he talks more about how he feels like D is going to nominate him and how much that sucks because he feels like he's been so loyal and this is the crew he's been rocking with and like this is kind of the second time that they've been in power and that he's being nominated and uh he starts crying and uh and Angela starts crying with him and hugging him and saying no D is not going to

[00:36:04] nominate you I'm going to stop I'm going to put a stop to that you don't don't you worry about it he's like that's not what this is for like I don't want me to stop to stop I'm going to I'm going to talk to D about this okay and she goes upstairs and uh and she does she tries to talk D out of putting him on the block for 30 seconds and then D's like no no

[00:36:34] Drew's shady here's why and he needs to go on the block and he's like oh okay and again like the Drew being shady like it all does go back to Angela so it actually would be insane for Angela to mount like a compelling defense to D about Drew not being shady when like she's the one who made D crazy about this in the first place yes then D uh tells Angela about Drew's power and uh she's like Drew got a power she's like

[00:37:04] what yeah he got the uh never not pass that's my uh impression of Angela's laugh um something like this it's like mind you Angel you had to dress like a freaking egg and D only discovered a useful use for her power today and she's had it for a week so like I don't really know why y'all are

[00:37:34] laughing so hard I was laughing uh he also talks to yash before the uh the feeds cup for the nominations uh they are talking about um how they are now working together again wolfpack woo uh and uh and really like the only reason that the only reason everything anything ever went wrong between them and the only reason the wolfpack broke up in the way that it did it was all Kamu's fault

[00:38:03] it was just Kamu uh you know he was just doing all that stuff and now they're back together they've got a deal signed in blood you know uh so uh they're gonna be fine they're gonna be working together now it's gonna be great yeah what could go wrong nothing feeds go down for the nominations uh no no change in plans and when they come back up

[00:38:33] plan comes through denominates drew lala and taylor but these are a little weird there's a lot of celebrating going on and the feeds were down for i feel a disproportionately long amount of time for regular nominations but i'm not normally paying the closest attention on a friday so i could be wrong um but yeah so drew got nominated and he used that opportunity

[00:39:02] to really call out lala and taylor because obviously they needed to be called out by him yes it's a very it's very confusing at first like like drew was upstairs celebrating the feeds came back to drew celebrating with uh with angela d and barrett in the hoh room and they're like drew you're amazing that was a phenomenal performance obviously we trust you now and i was like did is drew

[00:39:31] not on the block like he's so happy um and uh it's like like what happened here so apparently what happened is uh drew during the nomination ceremony because the whole thing the whole excuse to put him up was that he did not stand up at the meeting and like fully declare his side uh he decided that he was going to make a huge show at the nomination ceremony he stood up and he called out yash taylor and lala

[00:40:00] uh for their part in the summit that they were going after the icons um and uh and and that he has always been he's been working with them and that he is loyal or whatever it is like he he's been playing them they call him a liar he says i am i'm the biggest liar in the house and i was lying to you guys not to to them essentially um just a full-on sort of like public display of loyalty calling out them for being anti-icon now i think

[00:40:30] from what we can gather what happened was lala kind of denied her part of like leading that charge she said i was not leading an anti-icon uh situation in the in in the hoh room um and they kind of get into it and then taylor also apparently denied her part in it saying i wasn't even i was in the shower the whole time i was in the shower the whole time um which is kind of true but

[00:40:59] not not really true uh when there there was a time that she went into the shower to avoid being incriminated by specifically drew and barrett but she was a huge part of that summit obviously she was talking about anti-icon stuff um and so uh they tried to seemingly again we didn't watch this part seemingly they both tried to deny their parts of the summit and this got them into an argument uh where barrett was saying no you guys were there you guys were

[00:41:29] talking about this stuff and then at some point apparently uh taylor uh was like bringing melody and mallory into it according to melody and mallory uh and then they kind of had to be like nah i mean you were saying this stuff which then got them into uh a battle and really like the big winner here of course uh aside from theoretically drew for gaining trust back with the icons uh were the icons themselves as uh you know the this whole

[00:41:58] thing seems to have caused a lot of dissent between the varying factions that should be together to be against them uh and so that is seemingly what happens uh and uh and and the rest of the day is going to really kind of like devolve from here because uh with d or sorry with uh lala and taylor um having been

[00:42:28] called out having lied in the confrontation uh it is now time to sort of like just spend the rest of the day trash talking ostracizing uh and when you combine that with all of the previous uh microaggressions and comments that had been made before and the underlying tension that has existed that we've been talking about uh

[00:42:58] it gets it gets pretty bad it gets to the point where it's like we're all up in an hoh room for hours just talking about taylor we want to make sure she has a bad week this week um no you know uh you know i hope that oh i hope that we do the hide and go seek or hide and go veto competition so that they have to clean up afterward um and you know all of the kinds of conversations

[00:43:27] and comments that have been uh made like uh you know um it's it's uh we're not there in my notes yet so i don't have all the the the comments now but there's just like been a pattern of behavior over the whole season over just the atmosphere in the house and specifically how lala and taylor are talked talked about which is very clearly contrasted with how everyone else has talked about and you can't you

[00:43:56] can't ignore that and i do i just you know you see some people commenting like oh but like then like lala responded or taylor responded and it's the same as when i was talking about um hayley a couple weeks ago where hayley picks picks picks picks picks and then when finally someone responds to her she's like oh my god i've been bullied that person is aggressive that person is horrible

[00:44:26] and it's like you didn't fall out of a damn coconut tree there's context here and you have to look at what's been happening every single day and the way that everyone has been acting and the way that people have acted towards lala and taylor specifically is pointed is microaggressive it's getting macroaggressive yesterday and a lot of this atmosphere like to me it is incumbent on production

[00:44:55] when they are seeing racially based behavior prejudice that they should be giving people warnings like hey what's going on well like many other big brother franchises across the world would do that and it can put a stop to it and no stop has been put to it so then it gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and more and more and more and this is horrible

[00:45:25] watching feeds yesterday was miserable yes and so obviously throughout you know the last few weeks we've mentioned the things like comparing taylor to every black woman that's ever played big brother talking about how they saw her as lazy she doesn't get out of bed she would not be good representation for the season if she were to win and and these

[00:45:55] these comments are like now flying openly in large group conversations and and Drew is is talking a lot about it and they're like applauding Drew for it like like we're at the Coliseum like he's being encouraged to to behave in this way and he even at one point is like I hope my my mom isn't mad at me for like yelling at people

[00:46:24] and Devin's is like no no we're proud of you like like my your big brother dad is proud of you and and Angela is talking about like again like we I want to make Taylor have a bad week here and everyone's like she's like what she had Taylor hasn't had a bad week yet like I guess other than maybe being nominated in the first week and and so like I think that a lot of the

[00:46:54] reason why this is such like a hot in a game you know like like it's you know this is part of and hey Taylor and Lala are not perfect victims like they're saying mean things about Drew they're saying they're lying about whatever they're doing and

[00:47:36] when you hear about this stuff is that when there are specific comments made that can clearly be traced to some kind of racial component you can't just be like well that's an isolated thing and then all of the other comments those are different those are categorized differently because how is anybody supposed to know how is the person on the receiving end of it supposed to know that's kind of the point right

[00:48:05] like even without a specific comment one way because most people know not to say the specific comments is why people talk about microaggressions well sometimes it's why people talk about microaggressions it's because like if you have some kind of bias you might number one not know it that's that's I think most of the time quite frankly or number two you just know not to say it in the way that makes it obvious and so now how do you know if you're being discriminated against in that way how do you know if it's because of one thing or another thing especially if

[00:48:35] people are telling you it's because of your actions I think that another thing you ostracized and and ganged up on prior to their eviction Jason the last time we talked about this now we are once again kind of getting

[00:49:05] into that position where Lala and Taylor are being ganged up on and ostracized and these conversations are coming up again people like Camu and you know and Lyric and Rome they all kind of got a handshake on their way out the door you know they weren't ostracized they were respected and you can say all you want that it's like oh well it's their behavior but is it again is it a coincidence that it just happens to be players like Jason players like

[00:49:35] Lala and Taylor who get this side of the treatment especially when we look at the entirety of the history of Big Brother these are the things that are worth thinking about and having conversations about and noticing things and they are talking about it and that's okay and they should be able to talk about it 100% and the one thing that I would just add to that

[00:50:05] is that it was I need to confirm who posted this because I it it is insidious and something doesn't have to be the worst possible example you can imagine to be what it is

[00:50:34] and again a lot of it is unconscious bias people might not know they have these biases but that's the whole reason why it needs to be called out so that if you

[00:51:09] it it not this bad and therefore they try to defend against it but we don't have to jump to those extremes we don't have to assume that just because we're talking about these things that we need to go to war because we don't want this to be associated with this and we want to make sure the distinction between this is different than what this is but the point is when you go to the defense like that you're just shutting down the conversation about what this is and so focus on

[00:51:39] what this is that is the key here focus on talking about how what this is is wrong and bad and we shouldn't do it and that also hopefully allows for other people to learn that you don't have to be all the way over here to realize that this is bad and you shouldn't do this and if you ever are in a position where you're doing something like this and you recognize it

[00:52:26] I think would be the ideal scenario here yeah okay now we gotta get through the rest of the day and then I gotta leave it's yeah and just like throughout the day like obviously there's a lot more conversation happening and like the feeds are cutting away from Drew a lot when he starts you know speaking on it so we don't

[00:55:12] is largely true and it's what Lala is trying to convey but she says also that she only ever said Devin's name not D and Angela's she might have said icon but when she said icon she didn't mean Angela or D she meant Devins and of course to D this doesn't matter she doesn't care she's telling the cameras and she's telling Devin she

[00:55:48] she did go to the shower at one point but she was very much a part of all of those conversations regardless Taylor continues to deny even to Mallory one on one I was in the shower the whole time and Mallory was there talking to Taylor about it

[00:56:19] if you've seen Legally Blonde Terran but basically there's a murder I watched it after the season last season thank god oh my god my favorite movie and it's just relief I always think about the stepdaughter chutney I didn't hear because I was in the shower yeah I thought it was you coming through that door all I could think about yes so Angela and Lala talk about it

[00:56:49] Angela is like Lala there are like four different people giving a different account than what you're saying like I don't know why you keep saying this and they kind of go back and forth Melody and Mallory talk they trust Drew even more now they're like Melody is like yeah I was saying some really mean things about him and the diarum now I have to go back and be like actually I'd like him and trust him now this is about specifically the call out

[00:57:19] and for the record Melody and Mallory not part of those H.O.H. conversations with the big group and Melody actually has a conversation with Taylor a pretty decent one later in the night talking through the whole situation they talk about how it's they're glad that Drew doesn't seem to be the target anymore they are mad at Lala and Taylor specifically Taylor for dragging them into the confrontation because they did not want to be

[00:57:49] part of the confrontation and apparently she dragged them into it we'll of course have to just watch and see what this was like on the episode and they still think they need to be going after the icons as soon as soon as next week but this is again they're talking about like when should we start winning though and it's like I don't know how about last week how about right now try to win something um Drew

[00:58:18] explains his power to them they talk about how stupid it is Drew continues to talk about how stupid his power is throughout the day he says he's in the diary room being like this is worth like four diamond power vetoes um and they question him a little bit so they had talked to each other about should they tell Drew what D told him D told them about him and they are like I think we should and so they do kind of they kind of say

[00:58:48] like hey D said that you told her that the that we were you know wavering on the vote he said that you said that we'll do whatever you want and he's like well yeah I was trying to reassure them about you that you would do what I wanted with the vote they don't really care again they're just trying to bring it up with him but they're being

[00:59:18] so light about it because they don't want him to think they're mad but they're also trying to tell him that D is throwing him under the bus but they're also skeptical of being too heavy on that they're like we'll talk more there's more to it we'll talk later they had so much info to drop on him about D she very clearly was looking to target him and it was clear in the conversation that

[00:59:57] yeah it's sorry it's just so like what are we doing does your alliance mean anything where are we going um yash talks to taylor uh and he thinks that everything is actually totally fine um he thinks that uh for sure drew is still going to be evicted as

[01:00:27] evicted over taylor in fact he says taylor if you win the veto i mean i'm thinking you shouldn't even use it because if you do i go up right uh and so like but i think you're safe no matter what um and she seems to like take this in and later talks to melody about not using the veto uh i'm like yash bro i mean yes

[01:00:57] you know what he still could go on the block i don't know how much he believes in d's promise um but uh but this is kind on is

[01:01:27] absurd because it should actually never be a discussion yeah um mallory talks to barrett about going after the icons and he tries to talk her down he says yash needs to go first at the very least before we even think about the icons um and she's like okay okay um d devins and barrett talk and devins is like so we can agree we don't need to get rid of drew now right and they're like yeah yeah yeah he

[01:01:57] says he redeemed himself he redeemed himself uh so you know we don't need to uh we like like like drew is shady he's trying to play all sides

[01:02:27] he can't anymore he's burned them um drew does ask d like so what are we doing with the veto like can we use nah i don't know i don't think

[01:02:56] so yeah just a normal thing to do like what if you put up a again they're in the hoh room talking

[01:03:26] about taylor and lala for a while we've already talked a fair bit about this but they continue to do so there's a little bit of talk about like lala or taylor which one should leave uh but there's no real conclusion reached they don't really care which one leaves at this point um uh taylor again has that conversation with melody in that conversation she she also is going to go and hide drew's uh

[01:03:55] hairbrush um because she is uh pretty upset with drew and uh i believe he has still not found it uh as of this morning as as of this morning he's still looking for it and um taylor did check the rule book to make sure she's allowed to hide his hairbrush which i think is actually so funny it is actually yeah i uh that's it's very very good you know what it doesn't it doesn't

[01:04:25] actually hurt drew to be missing his hairbrush for a little while it's not like she used it to clean the toilet or anything so like that's funny that this is the type of funny interpersonal drama that we can have i'm seeing a tweet from big brother junkie with a couple of screenshots it says that they're zooming in on taylor and then panning over to the back of drew's head that's just like a close up of his hair unbrushed i mean

[01:04:55] but also like yes it's hilarious you're telling me no one's willing to loan drew a hairbrush just tidy up the back of his head everyone knows how important he feels his hair is yeah i don't know i don't i'm not like i wouldn't want to share a hairbrush with anybody personally i mean you could clean a hairbrush with some shampoo it's really not like what you think he has head lice i don't know it's just

[01:05:24] i'm assuming you're not brushing your hair anyways because you got curls no i don't that's probably why like i'm not really a hair brush person at all so like you know i see other people's hairbrushes and i'm like well i mean yeah you gotta clean your hairbrush you gotta get the hair out you gotta soak it in some shampoo you gotta scrub it make sure it's clean um fap for the rest of the night hangs out they do some rock ceremony

[01:05:54] uh and and that's basically the rest of the day here uh not too much more going on uh uh other than drew looking for his hairbrush yeah i feel it was like people went to bed and then it was just like here's the have got melody and drew talked about the show the symbol life for a little while taryn are you familiar with the program the simple
