[00:02:36] Hello everyone and welcome to the Big Brother 28 Roundtable Podcast. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and we are here, of course, to update you. Not update you, but in fact, talk about everything that's happening on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. This week, we also rate the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they are doing in the game. That's the podcast we're here for. The Roundtable, The Stopwatch.

[00:03:02] And a little bit of a shake-up in the lineup here tonight. We've got some excellent guests with us. First, which is Sharon Tharp. Sharon, how are you? Hi, I'm great. So happy to be here. Thanks for having me. Yes, very excited to have you. Of course, Sharon does an excellent job covering Big Brother and plenty of other shows. With us also here tonight is Chappell. How are you doing, Chappell?

[00:03:32] I'm doing really well. I'm so happy to be here. I haven't been on the Roundtable this year, this season. And so I'm pretty excited to kind of get into the happenings of this week and figure out how on earth I'm going to rate rank these players this week. Because it's a challenging one. I don't know what to do. So I'm going to be having to talk through it with both of you. Yes, I'm not going to lie. I've been packing today.

[00:04:01] I have not thought an ounce about what the ratings would or should be at this point. We will be in Milwaukee very shortly for RHAPCon. Should be a good time. But tonight we are here to discuss the week on the feeds. Of course, the last time we spoke, Dee was still on the block. Or no, she had just come off the block, actually.

[00:04:27] She had just come off the block and Kamu had been put up on the block. What a different world that was. The whole thing was like, you know, Melody and Mallory very likely were going to vote out Kamu. But man, did they wibble and wobble over the course of the week. They spent most of their time talking to Yash and Taylor. Only to then end up telling them at the last moment that Kamu was going to be evicted.

[00:04:59] And Kamu was then evicted. Leading into an HOH competition where... It's hard to even say. They threw it. Both of them threw it. Barrett threw it. They all threw it to Dee. To where Dee was able to win the HOH. Dee then was able to make a deal with Yash being in a power position with her bribe to lock him into being unable to nominate any of the icons the next time he wins HOH.

[00:05:25] And because of that deal, she did not nominate Yash. She instead nominated Drew, Taylor, and Lala. Then Lala wins the veto. And wouldn't you know it, the very person who threw the HOH, or at least one of them, is now going up on the block as the replacement. Mallory is now up on the block replacing Lala. And she is, at this moment, the primary target of the week, Sharon.

[00:05:55] I know. What a change of events from last week. Last week, I was really down on Dee, sort of, what she was doing. And this week, I think it's Mallory. So I'm really bummed because I really like Mallory. I would like to see her stay. But I just, unless she wins that blockbuster, yeah. Doesn't look good. It does not look good, Chantel. It does not look good. It doesn't look good at all. And it's just really frustrating when, you know, Mallory has been showing signs like, okay, I'm, like, nervous around, like, making deals with these people.

[00:06:25] I don't want to necessarily work with them. I might be flipping the boat to keep somebody that they want in the game, that they want out of the game. And so the fact that there's so much distrust around the icons, and then you could potentially win the power and make sure that you are safe with someone that you distrust. And then, you know, you're just like, you know what? I'm just going to roll the dice here and see what happens and see whether or not my gut was right or wrong for trusting them.

[00:06:55] So, yeah, it was pretty disappointing because Mallory seems to be a big gamer. And, like, we've been, like, waiting for her to make her move and make her mark. And she kind of dropped the ball. Yeah. Yeah. And people are like, oh, did they really throw, though? And it's, yeah. Barrett really did, for sure. They did. It was very obvious. Melody and Mallory talked about throwing before the HOH competition. Mallory talked about, or Melody talked about throwing during the HOH competition in the diary room.

[00:07:25] Mallory was a little more vague about it in the diary room, but she still said, like, maybe I dodged a bullet. Maybe I wasn't trying that hard. Mallory confirmed to Barrett immediately following the HOH competition on the live feeds that she did, in fact, throw it. And then, just yesterday, when she had every incentive in the world to change her tune because she's about to be put up on the block after a dumb decision of throwing the HOH competition. She has every incentive to be like, maybe.

[00:07:55] I wasn't really throwing. I mean, I did try. I was tried or not tried. She's still saying, yeah, I got to tell you something really annoying, Melody. I threw the HOH competition. It's just such a stupid decision. It's like, haven't they learned never throw it? Especially this late into the game. Like, you know, maybe the first couple weeks. But we also even say that, like, you want to be able to splay down the foundation at the beginning of the week. So, like, it's kind of like, just never throw it and just figure out how to use the power in your favor.

[00:08:24] That's just should be the rule from now on. Yeah, it wasn't like that that alliance was ever that solid. And then after the Diamond Power Veto and all this other things going on, it just was not the week to throw it. So I feel like this is if she goes out here, that's going to be her legacy and that's not going to be a fun one. Yeah. And, you know, I mean, it's for so many reasons, even if it hadn't come back on her immediately in this in this dramatic way where she's nominated. And she's the target now.

[00:08:51] There are still so many downsides to not being HOH this week and to give D the HOH this week with or without a bribe power. It allows D to pull in Haley. It allows D to make a deal with Yash. It allows D to strike first if she so chooses. And with the bribe power, it gives her even more power. They know what the bribe power is and what it does.

[00:09:15] And they have every tool available to them to figure out the method of using it in the same way that we could have or that other people in the house could have. Now, it's still harder for them because they don't have like a rule set in front of them. They can't like confirm things unless they ask D, which they certainly could. But but they could have just today. Mallory was talking with Melody. She was like, I just thought of something.

[00:09:43] What if D used the bribe on Yash? To get him to vote me out. It's like, oh, think harder. Close, close, close. Not great. Yeah. And it's just like, you know, I think that far too often.

[00:10:05] I mean, I am certainly a broken record at this point, but too many players think that not winning HOH is the better play because they don't want to piss people off. And I think that something the survivors have come in with is just a level of not giving a shit. They are very willing.

[00:10:26] And Devin's displayed it from the very start of the game when he like shook Rome's hand, had been working on him for like two weeks and then went. All right, I'll do it. And he just blows up and blows up his whole game. What is he doing? Right. But it worked out because you can just make moves.

[00:10:48] You can just kind of like blaze forward and people have to sort of just conform to the path that you are blazing. And and this is this is exactly the result that is now everyone is playing the game of D, Devin's and Angela. Now, are they really messy along the way? Of course. But because they're setting the pace, everyone else is just trying to keep up.

[00:11:14] So so that's that's just where we're at at this point. Yeah. No, it's just really frustrating, though, because like, you know, we want them to do well, like especially the you know, when you see the icons are doing so well. They have all these powers, they have all these advantages. So like they already are so up.

[00:11:32] And so the fact that people have had the opportunity here with their own like by their own marriage is to be able to win so they can take some power into their own hands and just not give it to the icons who have had so much free given power. Or it's just really, really frustrating because you want to see the shakeup. You want to see new people in power making decisions and see what the icons do without having. Well, she still has her free power, but like without having all this hardware.

[00:11:59] And yeah, we just didn't get the opportunity to even see that happen or play out. Yeah, I feel like they've talked about this, that they both feel like they're playing with house money a little bit, which is great TV. And I wish honestly we would get that very, very literal sense. They are literally, but with all the advantages and kind of that they came in with. So it's not necessarily as fun, but it's great TV. I wanted to ask about the bribe, though, if I can just because I'm poking holes with like what's going on here.

[00:12:28] Let's say we get because D said in the episode last night, if the numbers make sense, this deal is still on. So what happens if the numbers don't make sense? He has to nominate, you know, an icon. The blockbuster is still at play. I can't do the math real quick on that, but does he get to choose? And then is D kind of mess. I don't want to curse effing herself over by not protecting herself versus Angela or Devins. Like what happens there? I think that's exactly it.

[00:12:56] I think that that if Yash has no other options but an icon, he is allowed to then nominate an icon. And there's no extra special protection for D. In fact, if anything, you would assume she's the primary recipient of that choice. Because something else we've talked about is like, if D is evicted, does that, you know, get rid of the curse? Does that free him up?

[00:13:27] Now, of course, if he's the HOH, that doesn't really matter because the curse is going to be free regardless after his week is up. But still, yeah, I mean, it does kind of beg the question of like, because she doesn't have specific protection, she's probably the primary target if, you know, the option comes up for Yash to eventually get there.

[00:13:47] And I do think that D is underestimating the ability of a player like Yash to just survive. Like, in the blockbuster era, Yash has, at worst, two competitions that he can win to save himself in any given week. And there aren't that many people that would even target him in the first place.

[00:14:14] It's not even like he's a Keanu where like, more than half the house is looking to target him. So, like, I don't know exactly when they think they'll be able to take Yash out because if they go for him two weeks from now and he wins the veto and then they go for him three weeks from now and oh, he wins the blockbuster. And then they go for him another time. But oh, now he's won the HOH. And guess what?

[00:14:42] He has no other options but to nominate icons at this point. Like, I think they are overestimating just how hamstrung he is in this spot. Now, it's still, it is massive, right? It is very, very big for them to obtain this. And I do think that there's a very strong argument for taking Mallory out before Yash, considering Mallory's potential to win competitions and her willingness to go after the icons.

[00:15:11] But Yash is definitely still a major threat. And I think that if they continue to ignore him for too long, I think that they will come to regret it. That is my prediction. Ooh. But I also think they're probably putting into play like the fact that he likely will win the blockbuster if he did go on the block and that he would be coming after him likelihood of winning ahead of household. And so I think they're just trying to buy safety for like next week.

[00:15:39] They're just kind of predicting that he's going to win head of household next week, keep us safe for one more week. And then they could probably reassess and try to get him out the following week. But I think it's the scare of the blockbuster that made them not put him up this time around. Just take him out if they could. Yeah, I just want to ask, Taryn, because I think this was caught on the feeds, right? We didn't actually see the bribe situation go down on the feeds. So do we know if he, you know, tried to negotiate or he just accepted the first terms of like protect all three of us? Do we know that?

[00:16:10] So we heard Dee talking with both Devin's and Angela about the offer and how she had made an offer and it felt and they were talking and it felt like Yash was going to accept. And then Angela like kept talking and they were like, Angela, shut up. He's about to accept. You're going to like scare him away. But I don't know what that was about.

[00:16:35] My assumption is we talked about this last night that like because of Dee's wording about if the numbers make sense, I'm assuming that like she either cleared it beforehand, which is why she had the coin ready to go. Or like it was an active negotiation with production in the moment of like Yash being like, okay, what does keep them safe mean? What am I allowed to do? What am I not allowed to do?

[00:17:04] What happens if there are no other options? And then that's where they got to the wording that they did. So, you know, for as much as I would personally love to like needle in there and be like, keep me safe. It does not necessarily mean like, you know, is it keeping somebody safe to never put them in a car because cars are dangerous? I don't know. Right. Maybe buckling them in when they're in a car. That's keeping them safe.

[00:17:32] I can nominate them, but then work on the votes to keep them safe. Right. So, you know, I personally would like that to be a loophole, but but I assume that that was all kind of ironed out in sort of the actual sort of contract form of it. Okay. I didn't know if I was just tired or getting so confused by like the terms and how this works. And then even when she was like, oh, I'm not going to put Yash up. And I was like, you can't put Yash up. I'm like, wait, no, that's not the deal. The deal is money. Wait, never. Like I was getting confused, honestly.

[00:18:01] So I can't imagine like, you know, my parents or someone watching the show and being like, yeah, I totally understand what's happening now. But. Yes. And something that I thought was interesting as well was that when I initially came up with the idea, it was that D could very easily imply that she was making a two way deal saying if you accept the bribe, I won't put you up.

[00:18:24] Um, and there's a chance that Yash might not even realize that it's not a two way enforced deal. However, in the diary room in the episode, he very clearly lays out for the audience that it's enforceable for him. It's not enforceable for her, uh, in the sense that it's being enforced on him and it won't be enforced on her. Uh, so I don't know if he did ask the question and that's why he had that clarification to say in the diary room.

[00:18:53] Or if just like as part of the whole thing, they made sure that he understood that it was only enforced one, one direction. Uh, but either way, it's still very good for D. It's still a very powerful thing to, uh, to have been able to lock Yash into because otherwise the vets might be in some trouble here.

[00:19:15] Like, but because Yash is so restricted, they're in a very good position, especially with, despite the mess of the week, nominating Drew and going after Mallory and then changing their minds on Drew and all of this stuff. They still have Drew and Barrett as of right now, kind of bought into the whole operation.

[00:19:39] Uh, the question is, can they keep them bought into the operation when they inevitably switch, switch targets to Mallory? Because Drew and Barrett still think that Taylor is the target. And they only kind of just were won back over by the undercover work of Devin's. And if Devin starts to pitch, hmm, actually we want to take Mallory out. That could be a problem. Uh, so that's another thing to be looking out for this week.

[00:20:09] Do you think there was a better way that she could have used this bribe? Cause like, you know, this is decent, we'll say, but like, could there have been like a, like an optimal, like way that she could have used it? That would have been a little bit better. I mean, there's all kinds of ways you can use it. You can really trap people into incredibly unfavorable situations. Um, because they don't want to be nominated. Right.

[00:20:34] Uh, she could have tried for even just like, you have to nominate these people specifically. Um, and you know, I think the more you try to get out of Yash, the, the more likely it is that he declines and then rats you out for trying to get those people on the block. But then it's like, okay, I'll just nominate them.

[00:20:54] And Yash, like, uh, and you might also run into an issue of like, if that person is no longer there, then it leaves a spot open on the block for him to nominate you. Uh, and you can only do one action. Um, and so she did try to combine as many sort of like things as she could into one technical action. Uh, I think this was a very good one.

[00:21:17] It was, it really limits Yash in a significant way without being like something that he would, he would just outright say no to. Um, and it just completely eliminates the, again, their biggest competition threat, uh, from being able to come after any of them. Um, which is really valuable because it protects the core group and leaves vulnerable the people that they would need to eventually eliminate anyway.

[00:21:46] Uh, basically forcing themselves into the middle position that everyone so, uh, blindly talks about this season. So, uh, I think it was pretty good. I mean, obviously you could really, you know, really get in there with the nitty gritty and come up with like, is there anything else that maybe would work? Um, and, and there probably are some like really interesting things you could do as part of a single action.

[00:22:11] The question then becomes just like, does anybody accept it at that point? Like, is it really even worth it if you can really get in there? Uh, I do think, and there's a question in the chat, like, would you have taken, I should have put this on the survey, but like, if you are Yash and you are offered this bribe, would you take it? And that's a tough question. I would not. You would not. I would. Sharon says no. 5k after taxes? No way.

[00:22:40] That's divided by three people I'm protecting? No. Well, I think, I think the thing is, it's like, okay, but if you don't take it, she's definitely going to target you this week and you might leave. I feel like it's, yes, you either are a target now or later so you can buy yourself some time. That's fair. I do think with Yash's capabilities with, like, competitions. I think that's why I'm weighing a little heavier on not taking it.

[00:23:08] Had it been someone else who isn't as capable in the competitions, I would say yes. So, uh, I'm not going to, like, say this was the worst idea. I just probably would have leaned no. Because at that point, you have three of them still left. The jury, you know, we're still, we have still a couple weeks and I just would, like, want one of them out. Um, but yeah, I guess you're just buying yourself time at that point. So I would take it because I would just use it as a way to like, oh, like, but now we're in an alliance together and we start maybe talking a little bit more together.

[00:23:38] And like, I'll find out a little bit more about like who you might want to target. And like, I would use it as a way to try to build a relationship with them. I'll protect them. Like I have to do. And then when I have the opportunity, I will take them out. And so I think it just allowed me to be a little bit of like a mole that's going to infiltrate their operation. Um, and with the guys that like we're working together because I'm forced to. And yeah, and you didn't, you never say no to an alliance. Right. So I kind of, yeah, I would say yes.

[00:24:06] I just wish he got something in return that wasn't money. Like I wouldn't care so much about the money, but yeah, I guess I see what you're saying though. It's still building that sort of relationship to some degree. And there are still other targets that the icons, you know, are willing. Like he's throwing drew under the bus. And I think that's a good move. Those things, those kinds of things. So yeah, I see what you're saying. I'm like, I think I would still lean. No, but I don't think it's like the worst thing. Yeah. I mean, I, I think, I think I would also, I would have to take it. Right.

[00:24:34] Like, uh, I think the thing that, that I'm getting in return is the possibility of safety this week and the incentive from the players who are in charge to keep me safe this week. Uh, because yes, they could go back on it, but they have incentive to keep me around. Cause I now contractually can't come after them. And while that's really annoying, I think, especially from a viewer's perspective that like, it just puts them in such a good position.

[00:24:58] If I'm an individual player like Yash, like, yeah, my ideal scenario is I break up that trio, but there's still like seven other people left in the game that I also have to evict on my way to the end. So I might as well just like, wait a bit, right? Like, uh, if it keeps me safe this week and I'm Yash and I feel good about winning comps, especially as I get closer and closer to the end game, then yeah. Keep me on the sidelines.

[00:25:26] Maybe I do when I take out Haley or maybe I don't. And, you know, other people get taken out and I get down to the final seven, final six, and I'm just competing against the vets and, you know, a couple other people. And like, that's not a bad place to be. Maybe the fans don't like it, but like, it is what it is at that point. It also kind of puts Yash in the middle position again, because he's now secretly working with the icons while everybody else assumes that he's not.

[00:25:54] Uh, and so he's also now, I think in a better position as an individual player than he was prior. He just can't really operate as like a team player, which means he can't put, he can't like sort of construct his own end game structure. He's forced to play as a solo player. Um, but again, if I'm Yash and I feel good about my comp ability in a house where Kamu's gone and maybe Mallory is going to be gone and, you know, so on and so forth.

[00:26:22] So it's not the worst place to be. And I'd much rather be there than out this week because I couldn't win, you know, a tongue competition. All fair points. All fair points. I'm curious. Do you think then the optimal move for Yash this week is to win HOH and sort of get rid of that as quickly as possible?

[00:26:44] I mean, for as much as I have been banging the drum of win HOH, there is definitely a world where there's actual incentive for Yash to not win this HOH. Um, because if he does win it, he has to go. It's not a bad thing if he wins it, right? He can go after Haley, Drew, um, primarily Haley or Drew and take one of them out. That weakens the icons without having to go after them directly.

[00:27:12] It continues to give me a better chance to win competitions moving forward. The only problem is now the vets have zero incentive to keep me safe the next week. And I can't compete in the HOH. Um, and with potentially like, let's say Mallory's gone in this example. Uh, now Mallory's gone. Maybe now Haley's gone.

[00:27:31] Um, I'm still, you know, I'm, I'm in a spot where it's like Taylor and Lala and Melody versus all three icons plus Drew and Barrett or whoever, right? Like, they're, they're probably going to win that HOH and I'm probably going to be right back where I started.

[00:27:49] Whereas if I don't win the next HOH, maybe I lose my ally Taylor, or maybe even they continue to go wild and they get rid of Drew or like, or Haley or whatever the civil war of that's going to be. Um, but, uh, but maybe that's actually a risk worth taking to make it one more round. Uh, because as soon as I win HOH, all three icons are coming after me prior to that.

[00:28:19] I don't know that they will, uh, at least for one more round, but I don't think it's a clear cut decision. And I think that, uh, the primary thing is just going to be like, who does he think is going to win it? Who are you throwing it to? Um, ideally he throws it to somebody like Taylor or Melody or Mallory if she stays, uh, or Lala or whoever. Um, if he has to throw it to somebody like Drew or Barrett, then no, right? Like it's, it's not just a blind throw there.

[00:28:49] He has to win if it's Drew or Barrett cause they're coming right at him. Um, so, or, or even potentially Haley. So, uh, it's a tough choice still. And I think again, you can't just blindly throw. I think you do still have to pay attention to who's going to beat you. Yeah, that'll probably be, that'll be a tough decision to, to be made. Especially since like, if people can see that you're throwing it, like that could also, you know, kind of sour his position in the game with the icons.

[00:29:16] Um, but yeah, it will be interesting to see him have that dilemma. Yeah. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Listening to this podcast instead of doom scrolling? Smart move. [00:30:46] All right. Well, of course, one of the other big topics of the week has been the treatment of Taylor. We've been talking about it on the updates. And I think the conversation is slowly evolving from kind of like complete, kind of like it doesn't exist to, okay, now Taylor's talking about it on the live feeds. She's having conversations with Haley that are being cut from the feeds.

[00:31:15] Other people are talking about it on the feeds. And now it's kind of a little bit more like, okay, well, your usual suspects are still very upset about this. I did see that there was like a pretty clear campaign in this very survey to rank Taylor last in the favorite rankings. We'll see if that made an impact. But it is something that obviously has been going around primarily just that like,

[00:31:43] you know, Taylor is dealing with some things in Taylor in particular, but also of course, Lala that are not unique to this season or these particular players, but very certainly reflective of society in terms of certainly where we stand right now and what this show has dealt with for the last 25, 26 years. Whatever we're at. Yes.

[00:32:09] This is not sadly not new and probably not the last time this is going to happen. So I totally understand why people are sort of outraged and speaking out about it. My hope is that I don't have hope for everyone, but that the people will get out and sort of reflect on it and change, educate themselves a little bit. But it's definitely something that I think, you know, even I feel like Taylor sort of gave Haley the grace of like, let's have a conversation because I'm going to be talking about this anyway.

[00:32:37] And she wanted nothing to do with it. And I think that's going to affect her. I mean, her social game is not great anyway, but yeah, no, that's certainly, you know, I thought about that even when I was ranking her. I'm just like, well, not willing to repair any sort of relationships ever. But yeah, that's, that's dog for you. Yeah. It's been, it's been really a kind of a hard week to watch because you never want to see people feel as though they're being ostracized or bullied

[00:33:06] or any of those things, especially when it's racially charged. And, you know, we hope that it's, it's going to change each year and things are going to be different. And then, you know, we're coming into over a thousand episode. We're up and coming and like things have not changed in a thousand episodes. It's just kind of wild to see that it's still being repeated. Just how some people get treated for, you know, just who they are. And so, yeah, it was pretty disheartening to see this week how, how it was going down because like,

[00:33:34] I do want to watch these people play the game, but then it's just kind of being painted with all these microaggressions and all these difficult conversations. So, you know, I'm always here to have them because I do appreciate learning in these experiences. But I also really just hate that we always have to have these conversations at the same time. Exactly. Especially if you're covering the show, it's like, I kind of not, this is so sad, but like years in you're like, okay, something is going to happen.

[00:34:04] Like it just, there's always something. And I feel like, so this isn't something we haven't, you know, we've dealt with before, but every year it's still a little shocking. It's still like, we're still, we're still doing this, huh? But yeah, I, I, I, I'm curious if they're going to show any of it on the TV, on the TV, on the show, just because Taylor mentioned that she was talking about in the DR. I would usually lean no, but I don't know. I, I,

[00:34:33] I'm not sure actually. I mean, usually the line is if they're not talking about it in the house, then we have nothing to show. Right. Um, but given that Taylor is pretty heavily implying that she is both talking about it to her fellow castmates and in the diary room, there's a lot less sort of a rope there for, uh, for production to, uh, to, to maneuver on. So, um, so yeah, we'll see.

[00:35:03] Obviously the, the aftermath of the nomination ceremony, uh, is when the, the biggest sort of like, they're all up in the HOH room. They're all dunking on Taylor for hours at a time. Uh, it's when all of that happens. And, and again, we are going to get to see more of like Taylor's response to this, the way that she's responding and what she's saying in the diary room. So I have to imagine that if we're going to see anything, it's likely going to be on Wednesday's episode and we'll see what, uh,

[00:35:33] what comes of that. But, uh, but in the meantime, should we get to the favorite rankings? I'm scared. I have absolutely no idea how this is going to go. Yeah. Let's, let's, let's go. Can I, can I ask one thing, Taryn? Cause I, I don't know if I got clarification on this. What? I know, I know we're going to see it on Wednesday, but what were they celebrating with drew about? Was it just that he was talking back or was there like something specific that they were really thrilled about? Cause I missed that.

[00:36:03] Yeah. I mean, it's, it's hard to know exactly. I mean, they, they, I mean, in general, they are very much encouraging the sort of attack dog behavior. Right. Uh, to the point where drew is giving Mallory advice like today, like, Hey, maybe if you call out Taylor, they'll like you more. Um, and, uh, because it worked for him, right? Like, uh, like, Oh, if we, I mean,

[00:36:29] it's very reminiscent of like how things operated under sort of under Paul, uh, in 19, of course. Um, and, uh, and so, uh, I, I think it seems as though it might've just been the general vibe, just his willingness to do it and burn his own relationship with them and, and be their attack dog was like, Oh, he's proved his loyalty pat, pat, pat on the head. Um, there might've been something more specific in there.

[00:36:57] Obviously they did talk about the summit meeting where they, where Lala talked about going after the icons. Um, but, uh, but apart from that, Oh, and, and they loved his one liner. Um, they keep repeating this. I'm sure it's going to be on the episode where he was like, I am the biggest liar in the house. And that's the truth. Oh God. See, I, I was so kind of, uh, this whole weekend, I was like feeling icky and trying to not as, not as engaged as I usually am. And I totally missed that,

[00:37:27] but maybe I'm happy. I missed it. I'll just watch it in the episode. So it's okay. Yeah. I was kind of frustrated that how they ended the episode with Taylor yelling. I was like, wow, like really like not really like having her in a favorable light at all. At the end of that episode to cut it right there. I was kind of disappointed in that decision by a production. Well, let's get to the favorite ratings then. Uh, this is the, uh, the rankings where the, uh, audience is told to rank the players from their favorite to their least

[00:37:56] favorites. This is what the standings looked like last week. Mallory was first followed by melody, drew devins, D Angela Barrett, Taylor, Lala, the ash and Haley. And Kamu was actually last place. And then he was evicted. So there you go. So the question becomes, can Mallory hold on to her top spot in the favorite rankings? What do you guys think? 0%.

[00:38:24] I think she had to go down in some sort of way. This, this audience, I think does not like the fact that she threw an HOH or through a competition where she could potentially be going home now. So I think that they are going to be upset about this. Yeah. Especially because they have so much faith in her. Well, who the question then becomes who takes her spot? I was thinking devins because, you know, I mean, it's going up quite a bit, but I think that, you know,

[00:38:54] he still has everybody kind of on side with him. D is kind of like the bad guy, you know, he's built rebuilding some of these relationships. I, I feel like he's, he's in the best position out of the icons right now. And so I think that he might move up, but I'm not confident. Yeah. Some of these surprised me. Actually, I would say devins moves up. Mallory moves down. I don't see drew going up.

[00:39:24] Oh yeah. I don't know. I definitely think Mallory goes down a few. I mean, also just because she was like, I could have won that. Another, which I think she could have, by the way, it looked like she was slowing down on purpose, but who knows? All right. Well, I might've primed you to not consider this with the, cause I did genuinely see some campaigns, but actually Taylor. Wow. With a massive,

[00:39:50] massive jump from seventh or sorry, from eighth all the way up to first place this week, Taylor jumps into first. I had her second. So I didn't think that she was going to make a big jump. Um, um, I wasn't sure if it would be all the way up. So I'm very happy for her for that because I think, uh, it's nice to know that this audience is on her side and like, you know, wants her to do well. And so I support this rise.

[00:40:20] Yeah. And I think there's a bit of a combination of things happening too, where like Mallory and melody, the two top previous players have probably dropped a bit considering their, their play style over the last week. Uh, drew was next. He's probably not, you know, he's probably dropping a bit because of his play style, uh, over the last week. And at the same time, there's a huge surge of, uh, of empathy for Taylor. And so it combines to a massive jump.

[00:40:50] I don't know if I've ever seen a jump this big in the, uh, player rankings. That's wild, but it gives me hope. I mean, I think she'll be, she'll be fine when she gets out of the house, but yeah, she's had a rough week. So let's give it to her. Hmm. Uh, all right. Who do we think is next? Well, I'm still going to say Devin's, but like, I'm not, I'm definitely even more less confident here. Um, Mallory's going down melody. I feel like she kind of was a little bit invisible.

[00:41:19] So I feel like she might go down. I just don't think that she would maintain that position or grow up. Same with drew going down. And so I just feel like Devin's might rise. Hmm. Yeah. Devin's rise. Maybe melody stays about where she is. Um, I think Mallory, Mallory and drew drop. And I think Yash will rise, but I don't know. Good call. Well, Mallory actually holds. She does drop from the number one spot,

[00:41:49] but she drops down to number two only. Uh, and you know what? I won't keep you in suspense. Melody. Oh, there. So, uh, really just Taylor leapfrogging over them. Uh, uh, and then it is in fact, Devin's over drew and previous spot that drew had been in. So Devin's technically stays the same. Um, but, uh, but actually leapfrogs drew because,

[00:42:19] uh, Taylor has also leapfrogged all of them. Um, and now I'm just picturing them all as frogs. Um, so the question is, that is our top four Taylor, Mel, Mallory, Melody, Devin's who is number five. T. I was thinking maybe, well, if Taylor's having such, I know I thought about that too. Serge, maybe Lala will get up there. So Lala or Yash,

[00:42:47] I would have Lala next according to what I put down before we started. Yeah. She won the veto too. Let's put Lala. I think Lala. Yeah. Big jump for Lala as well. Up four spots into the fifth position. Um, then after Lala, Drew, Oh, Drew has fallen from, yes. From, uh,

[00:43:14] third down to sixth place. Uh, then, uh, we are now at number seven. Who do we think is number seven? D or Yash? I still can't decide which one. I think Yash over D. Yash indeed with a big three placement increase to seventh place. Uh, increase for Yash. Uh, I think his diary rooms are certainly helping. Lala. Lala. Not that one.

[00:43:43] Whatever daddy Devin says, baby boy Drew follows. The kid has no spine. His DRs were good. I thought I, I appreciate the non-scripted DRs. Always a bridesmaid though. He's still behind Drew just by early. Uh, after Yash, you guys have been talking about D, but it's actually Angela. Wow. Okay. Yes. Angela who falls a couple of places, but still manages to hold on at eighth place.

[00:44:12] We are now at the bottom three last week. The order between these three, at least we're D Barrett Haley. Uh, do you guys have a prediction of what the order that these three might be in? The same. It's the same. It is the same. D Barrett's both with big drops. And then Haley down at the bottom spot. Uh, man, uh, big improvement for Taylor here.

[00:44:42] Uh, look at the graph there for Taylor Mallory, uh, with just a small drop. Devins continues to be the most consistently ranked player of the season. Big increase for Lala, who has her best placement of the season. So far drew with a big drop and is at the lowest that he's been. Yash with a bit of an increase now at the highest he's been. Angela continues a bit of a drop D with a massive crater after just two weeks ago,

[00:45:12] being number two, uh, in the entire season. She is now ninth of 11 players. Wow. That's rough. And Barrett as well, who started the season at number three has just been kind of slowly deteriorating until now. He is 10th second to last. And of course we know where Haley's been up to. Uh, and those are the favorite player rankings. Have you seen yet?

[00:45:40] Like any patterns with like the graphs of each winner? Like, have you seen if like there's any pattern? Let's do a quick check here. If I can, this is week seven of big brother. So a comparative check on week seven of big brother. 27 has Ashley, uh, at number two, a big increase there. Uh, we could go to the end of the weeks as well, but I think it's kind of fun to look at the comparative weeks. Chelsea was, uh,

[00:46:09] at number one in week seven. Um, and then let's see who we got. We got, uh, Jag. That's the best season of novelty though. Yeah. Um, and, uh, I have a, I have a theory on this one. Oh, look at this. This is actually interesting. Turner was number one on week seven of big brother 24. And Taylor was number three. A bit of a drop.

[00:46:39] This must've been around the time she won that HOA. Uh, was that when he called out the house maybe that week? I forget. Well, that would have been, I think around like week three or four, uh, big, big, big increase from he was last week to the number six. So that's actually quite a big one. That's a, that's an eight position jump. That's actually bigger than, uh, the end Taylor's this week. So, uh, some interesting stuff there. Um, all right.

[00:47:09] So. Should we get some questions? Sure. Let's look. Oh, wait, hold on. Actually, hold on. It's, uh, there's one other thing I want to look at. We want to look at the, uh, positional chart here. Uh, so, well, boy. So this is, uh, these are the actual numbers, uh, not just the rankings. So like if one person was like really close to another, they're spatially linked here on this chart. Um, you can see the Taylor, uh, with a pretty decent lead,

[00:47:39] um, um, but relatively grouped up in this top four melody and Mallory very tightly, uh, behind her. And then, uh, Devin's trailing just a bit. Then a huge cluster of Lala drew, Yash, Angela, and D all together. Uh, just really, really closely together there. Drew and Yash, especially look, uh, very, very tight. They're separated by one, uh,

[00:48:06] two hundredths of a point. Um, and then, and then Barrett, you know, he's in the room. And Barrett was in the room. All by himself there in 10th. And then Hayley way, way behind, way, way behind. Uh, all right. So that's, uh, that's that. Let's get to the questions. We of course rank, uh, we rate many things, not just the players. We also rate things like the episodes this week. Um,

[00:48:35] historically we talked about week six was a really good week for episodes. It's just all green all the way down the column. 6.8 average. It's the highest average week. Week seven is where things start to fall apart a little bit. Sometimes, uh, in the last three seasons, week seven has still been pretty good. However, however, the previous four seasons, things had kind of cratered at that point, not totally cratered, but certainly enough to go down.

[00:49:02] So with the average of a six rating on a week, seven, uh, week, seven episodes, um, last week, big brother, 28 had a 6.7 this week. Yeah. 6.0 on the dot. Okay. I mean, it had exactly average. Yeah. Uh, not, not able to maintain the streak of the last three seasons of having a green number in week seven here for episodes.

[00:49:30] This is based on entertainment purposes or just in general. Yeah. Just like, did you enjoy the, what, how did you feel about the episodes? You know, and I, I'm not going to lie. You know, I think that, I think Thursday was fun. Yeah. Blockbuster. Uh, the, you know, many, many, oh my gods, uh, from, from Angela.

[00:50:01] I was smiling like big time when it did feel really good. You could tell how excited and happy she was. So I, I was there with her. God, that felt like so long ago. I'm so, that's the thing. I think, unfortunately, the most recent, the more recent example we have was last night. Yeah. Two hour episode. And I, I don't, I, I, I did enjoy unlocked. Uh, but I think the two hours is just a lot of hours for big brother.

[00:50:30] And then, uh, the episode portion itself again, felt just a little rushed. I feel like the timing this season for the episodes has not been great. Uh, the Sunday episodes feel a little rushed and the Wednesday episodes feel like they drag a bit occasionally. So, um, it's, that's unfortunate, but, it's below a 6.0, which is very good. And, uh, and despite all of what we're talking about, one of the better, uh, more, more consistently, uh,

[00:51:00] rated, uh, seasons so far in terms of never going into the red, uh, and, and this being its lowest rating, a 6.0. Um, but not just about episodes. It's also about feeds. Uh, once again, week six, great week for feeds. Historically week seven, really bad. Sometimes big brother 24 went from a 7.1 to a 2.3 this week. I have to imagine that was dire fest. Uh,

[00:51:30] Oh my God. Yeah. Yes. It must've been. This is also, uh, big brother, even big brother 22, which had been doing okay. In the feed ratings, uh, drops to a 4.3. This might've been like Ian leaving. It makes sense. Um, and then big brother 21 drops to a 5.5 from the 7.6. Big brother 26 down to a 6.1.

[00:51:54] Big brother 27 is the only season that actually managed to go up from week six into week seven. Uh, and, uh, don't worry. That one's, uh, gotta fall come in later. Wow. 1.6. That would be the white locust. Oh, duh. I should've cut it out of my mind. Me too. I tried. So last week, the feeds were a 7.2. The average for week seven is 5.4. This week, 5.8.

[00:52:24] It is a pretty considerable drop, but still weirdly above average. That's higher than I would have given it, but yeah, it's way higher than I would have given it. I could barely watch. I was like, Oh, I don't know. It has been, I would say it's been a rough week of feeds, but it has at least been eventful, uh, in terms of the game moving, uh, because D is such a chaotic HOH. This could have been a very simple week, where Yash,

[00:52:51] Taylor and Lala were nominated on top of all of the, uh, ganging up on, but instead because of the clever use of the bribe, Yash goes off the block. Drew goes up and there's a whole bunch of mess. And now Mallory's the target and she kind of deserves it. And it's all kinds of stuff. So, uh, I can see why it's kind of holding in here in terms of the feed, uh, ratings. Then we have the season as a whole. This is really the, just the all encompassing. How do we feel about this season?

[00:53:18] This is the kind of rating that tends to drop slower, but really tends to drop from weeks like this, where it's like, Ooh, this feels a little not good. Um, now, despite all of the previous drops from week six into week seven, in terms of episodes and feeds, this rate rating, from week six to week seven, actually relatively consistent. Uh, not a major change from week six to week seven. Uh, last week,

[00:53:48] big brother 28 was a 7.1. The average for week seven is a 6.4. Wow. I was thinking six something, but yeah, that's, that's a big drop. It's a 5.6 this week, uh, which is actually the lowest ranking of a season as a whole so far for week seven since big brother 22 and 21. It makes sense though. I mean, as much as people love the icons and,

[00:54:17] and want to see them in the game and see them doing well, you want to see them also have things that they're facing. They just, it just seems like it's such an easy go for them. Um, and so I think that that's definitely taking away. And then obviously all the, the Taylor and Lala, um, you know, things that have been happening with them is also going to bring down the season as on a whole. So it's expected. Yeah. I had hope after the diamond power veto was played that. Okay. Let's switch it up. If Mallory had won HOH or something,

[00:54:46] I think we would have been in a different, different place, but I think D winning. Um, and obviously she, she used her bribe correctly. I just think, uh, it's just another week of, of them in power. So it's not as, as fun TV. It's genuinely an entirely different season. If any of Mallory, Mallory or Barrett hadn't thrown that HOH, uh, just an entirely different season, but especially if Mallory hadn't thrown it, uh, you know, that it's,

[00:55:14] it's very likely like three icons on the block right now. Um, and, uh, uh, and, uh, you know, it's just a whole, whole different ballpark. I wonder if this is that, if this is this, is this going to be the week that we all point to, if the season doesn't end 12 of like, this is where it went wrong. I would say so. I think this is probably the one you point to, uh,

[00:55:42] we do have the thousandth episode coming up. There's been some speculation about a big twist coming up. So, uh, there's also a chance that we look at that as the thing that solidifies the death of the season. Um, or Hey, maybe they actually do something right and it revitalizes it. Who knows? Has that ever happened? Keep your expectations low. They're going to fix the white locust. Julie loved it. Okay.

[00:56:12] All right. Well, uh, we have to rate these HOH train. Her first week HOH train was an 8.4, the highest rated HOH train in the history of us asking for these ratings in the initial week that they are HOH. Uh, week seven, not a great week. Historically, Vince had a 4.9 win with a 3.3, Jared with a 2.7. And then that whole dire fest thing was going on. So we're not going to even bother with that. Um,

[00:56:40] but the average is a 4.2 D is going to get a 4.8 for HOH train here. Uh, this is lower than I expected. I'm not going to lie. I think they're just like unhappy with her right now. And so I think it's like, even though she's made some good decisions with how to use the bribe power, um, you know, she's put herself in a decent spot for the next upcoming weeks. I think that just being involved in the, you know,

[00:57:09] the bashing is, it's just like tainting her, her reign here. Absolutely. It's based on her, uh, popularity, whatever that poll was. So this isn't that shocking, I guess. Yeah. I mean, in terms of gameplay, I do think it was very messy. I think going after drew didn't really make a lot of sense, but she has seemingly corrected that. Uh, and, uh, and I think Mallory is the correct target. I think that going after Yash or, uh,

[00:57:38] bribing Yash with the power was very clever and has put them in a really good position. So I think I'd probably go a bit higher than a 4.8 personally, but it is what the audience thinks. Uh, uh, we also go back and we look at now that we've gone through the week, now that we've gotten past it, how do we feel about Yash's HOH? Uh, after the fact, uh, last week, uh, it was during the HOH. They gave it a 4.0, but now looking back at it, oof, even worse, 3.6.

[00:58:08] There's nothing he could have done though. He could have not nominated Haley, which would have helped. Or taken her off. Or taken her off the block. Taking her off. Which was a chance to fix the error. Right. And people are like, oh, well he doesn't even have a relationship with Haley. Why would he do that? Like, it's why it's no skin off his back if Haley leaves. And look, now Haley's working with the icons. It's like, no, no, that's the, that's the point. Yeah. Because he was developing a relationship with Haley. She was being pulled into an alliance with him.

[00:58:38] He was like, look, like they were, they were, they were creating like a four person thing. And if he had kept her off the block or use the veto on her, he could have solidified that relationship. And then she would have been his person to work with. But instead he left her dangling on the block and spent all his time campaigning to Melody and Mallory who eventually didn't even come through anyway. And now Haley adrift has drifted over to the icons. So yeah, it was definitely a rough one. All right. Finally,

[00:59:08] great production. This week, a 3.8. They're not happy. Maybe it's those feed cuts. Maybe we should be listening to these conversations. The fact that the feed cuts even made it to unlocked cracked me up. I will say. Yeah. What they should have done in the, in the, in the, in the tick tock they showed is like, listen, there's a really important conversation. I need to have with you about rate.

[00:59:37] Yeah. I don't think that they're really showing everything. Obviously. Like I said before, I really didn't like how they ended the episode yesterday. And so, yeah, I'm not really, you know, plus with what production is doing. I do. I hated the fact that the never not pass was even an option here. How is that going to shake up the game? And so, yeah, those are three production decisions that would probably help this 3.8.

[01:00:08] All right. A couple more questions. You get live out. He's like, cool. I asked, is D naming the correct replacement nominee when it comes to Mallory? I think the answer is yes. Yeah. By a big margin. Oh, wow. This is quite a close vote. 58% say yes. 42% say no. Oh, that's going to be like big. Who's curious? I would,

[01:00:36] I'd guess they're thinking it should be Haley. No, really? I don't know who else they would think that she should put up. Me either. That's why I'm so confused. What? I mean, maybe Yash. I could see an argument for Yash, but like he is prevented from going after them. They're just mad at her. Yeah. I think the chat's right. They're just mad. Yeah. People like, do you like Mallory? All right. Finally,

[01:01:06] who do you want to be evicted this week of Drew, Mallory or Taylor? Now, given the popularity rankings, I'm going to assume that Drew is the, uh, the major shareholder in these votes. And he is 48% say drew 30% actually say Taylor. 22% say Mallory. I'm, I'm wondering if this is one of those, uh, like for her own sakes, uh,

[01:01:34] which I always hate given her number one spot on the board. Uh, with Mallory though, like I'm just somebody that's like, we have to punch her, you know, for making this a bad mistake. She needs to learn her lesson. So I wouldn't be, I would be saying that she should go home, but I understand that the audience has their favorites. Yeah. I mean, listen, this is, uh, this, this board is currently the exact opposite of their likelihood to leave at this point.

[01:02:01] So it's going to be a great week. This episode is brought to you by state farm. [01:03:58] let's talk about the ratings, the stock watch ratings. Let's rate these players. This is the portion of the podcast where we rate them from one to 10 based on how well we think they are doing in the game. The criteria can be anything. It can be whatever you want. I tend to look at short-term safety, long-term prospects, and really almost, not quite most importantly, but certainly the differentiator between a plus one, a minus one. How much do I agree with the decisions they're making?

[01:04:27] Do I think they're making a mistake or are they making good decisions? And we are going to kick it off because I keep forgetting to change the order with Angela. So, Angela, Angela, Angela. I actually think Angela's continuing to improve her lot in this game.

[01:04:54] I think that this was a great week for Angela. D made a deal with Yash to prevent Yash from targeting her at all, which basically means, by the way, that nobody will target her. Just, just pretty much nobody will do it. I don't think Lala is targeting it. Lala might put up Devins. She might even put up D, but I don't think she's putting up Angela. Yash can't. Drew and Barrett, I don't think would.

[01:05:24] They would go after D before Angela. They might put Angela on the block next to D if they made that shot, but they're not even looking to. Melody and Mallory aren't looking to target Angela specifically as much as they are Devins or D. And they're barely in a position to do so either. She manages to keep her relationship with Haley, which is her perfect final two member, as well as her relationship with Lala, who's also now winning competitions.

[01:05:52] And she's sitting there safe as can be. Is she doing a ton to actively promote this position? Not necessarily, but she is putting in good work with both Lala and Haley, despite the messiness of all of it. And so I do have to come up a bit, I think on Angela here and say that it's got to be higher than a four.

[01:06:24] Is she playing actively good enough to be a six? No, she's a five. Wow, a five. Chantel. Yes. What are your thoughts? Angela. So I kind of, I'm feeling similarly to you with Angela, like the four that was fitting last week, but I really love the fact that like, you know,

[01:06:52] she took what Tucker had said last year, his strategy of, you know, being able to gather all those balls together. And she actually, she gets the competition. She is able to succeed and able to pull through a win here where we were all counting her out of winning this blockbuster. So just that alone, I do think it bumps her up from a four to a five. And then I was toying myself with the six for the fact that she's in a pretty good position now, not from anything that she's done. It's, you know,

[01:07:22] it's basically D has, has, has just kind of grandfathered her into this, this deal that she's brokered here, but it will benefit her. But the fact that she doesn't have, she's not actively the one that is like putting herself in this great position. I do think that it's great though, that she's mending her relationships with Haley and Lala. So I think that's good, but I, I agree with you. I don't think it's enough to give her the six.

[01:07:50] So I'm with you at a five for Angela. Yeah. And people are saying like, Taryn, you're sleeping on Angela. It's like, uh, listen, I, I fully will agree. I think that her position is at least a six right now. Uh, it's just that like, she's still Angela guy. Like she does do good things sometimes, but she also does really bad things. Sometimes last week, her whole thing about, we've been actually working together this whole time.

[01:08:19] I'm sure you girls know that nearly got her evicted. That was very, very close to got her evicted for no reason at all. It was a complete self-own when she was literally sitting there on the block. Uh, so, uh, this is still Angela we're talking about. And I am grading her on that considering how close it actually came. Uh, but, uh, Sharon, what are your thoughts? Uh, I also wavered. I have a little chart here between the five and the six. I think,

[01:08:49] I thought was really good. I, it's not like, yes, she's not actively doing things to necessarily, I mean, she like building, you know, building back bridges with Lala and Haley, but maybe that's her strategy of like, I did too much my first season. So I'm just going to ride the wave. So I don't, but I think that five is sort of where she sits. And I think, you know, she's in a good position, like the Yash deal and all of it. Um, but I think she could end up being sort of collateral damage damage if,

[01:09:18] for whatever reason, they can't take a shot at D and Devin. So I don't know. I, I was leaning towards six, but I, I think I'm going to stay at five. All right. Wow. Another five. What does the audience think? What does the audience think? The audience says, it is a six from the audience. Big time on Angela. She won the blockbuster. I got to give it to her. She did. She did. I understand. Oh my God.

[01:09:48] We're all like close to giving her a six. It's probably a high five here. Yep. I'm not mad at this at all. Um, all right. Chantel. What are your thoughts on Barrett? Who? I want Barrett to do so much better than he wants to do for himself. It's so frustrating. I'm like you, you, you know, you have the ear of D and you know, you, you're in these good positions and people want to work with you, but he doesn't want to do anything. Um, so, you know, the four, the four is pretty much kind of standard for his game from,

[01:10:18] from my perspective, this whole season, pretty much. Um, except for, I guess the first week he, we, we thought we saw promise in him. Um, and I don't even think I can keep a metaphor. I think I had to bring him down from the four because you know how much we hate throwing competitions. I want to see this game shake up. I don't want to see him just be, you know, D's lap dog and you know, all the memes I'm seeing about like him being up D's, but all this stuff. I'm like, is that what your legacy you want it to be Barrett? So I can't, I can't give him a four.

[01:10:46] I have to take him down to a three because he's just not doing anything in my opinion actively to do better in the game. He's just, he's just so long for the ride. It seems. And he's not even, he's not even on the right car. All right, Sharon, how about you? Yeah, this is going to be a boring one. I also put three, I think sort of the lack. I think treading the, the line with D and nominating Mallory,

[01:11:15] he maybe could have done a little bit more to save his other number one or number two, I'm not sure how that's going to pan out. I think obviously he's still in with D and the vets, but he's just doing a lot of nothing. And I've, I've sort of defended it up until this week, but I think this is when you, you have to start turning it on. And he hasn't. So I will give him a three. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, let me tell you, let me, let me,

[01:11:44] let me, Barrett. I know you listen to these podcasts. I know you do podcasts. Uh, and I, I'm sure that you really hoping you never hear this sound. Oh, we're talking about your game on the stock watch. And let me tell you something, Barrett came real close this week, came real close this week because there's no world where you should be throwing this HOH.

[01:12:14] Now that said, he's at least more justified than Mallory and melody were to throw this HOH, but he certainly still should not have been throwing this HOH. And he should know better than anyone that he shouldn't be throwing this HOH. Um, and now he's, he's going to likely lose one of his closest allies, one of his best weapons in the game. Uh, it's a terrible week. It's a terrible week for Barrett. And he's barely managing to like,

[01:12:43] hold on to any manner of like, you know, uh, just his, his own direction in the game. He's just being led by D and he can be frustrated with it all he wants. He's not actually doing anything about it. And again, I've said this before, but for as much as you can say, well, ah, his hands are tied. D's the HOH. He has to go along with it. And at least he's safe, right? Well, he could have done something about it. He could have won the HOH. He literally needed to like,

[01:13:13] just press the button. Let's let it's literally that simple. He was right there. And there's a difference between, do you want to be in charge of your game? Or do you want D to be in charge of your game? And if you want, if you want to be in charge of your game, all you have to do is press this button and he didn't press the button. And it's, it's, it's actually that simple. Uh, and it's not that simple for so many players in the game who never have a chance to even press that button. And he had that chance to press that button. And he said, nah,

[01:13:43] I'm good with D. Uh, so it's a two for Barrett here. I mean, you're selling me. Like, here's the thing. I do still think Barrett can win this game. I want to be clear about this. Um, I think he can. And if he does end up winning this game, kudos to him, right? Like he played the game he needed to play to get there. Will he be happy with the way he played? I don't know. Uh, I don't know Barrett well enough. Um,

[01:14:12] it doesn't seem like he's having a good time in there, but, uh, but I'm sure if he wins, like, uh, there's a 750,000 reasons why he'll be not that upset with it. Um, but I don't think that this is the way to win the game. I don't think this is the optimal way for him to win this game. Uh, and, and I think it's in fact a very poor way for him to potentially win this game. And I think he has so many paths open to him that again, many players don't have, uh,

[01:14:41] and he is sort of like letting, letting all those ways just kind of like evaporate, uh, whenever D sort of blinks in his direction. Um, and so, uh, it's frustrating to watch. And especially since like, if he did win that power, he could still be consulting with D. Like, it's like, it's not like she's out of the game. It's like, Oh, he gets to make the decision, but he could still have his same relationship with her. So I, it's, it's, it is really frustrating that he didn't press that button. And I, I'm,

[01:15:10] I'm close to wanting to shift down to a two, but I'm going to leave it as a three because that's how I came in here thinking that he was, he was about a three, but that two, it's looking, looking close. Well, the question is, did the audience go to a two or did they give him a three? I think they went to a two. Like from what it looks like with the chat. I think they're going to be a three. Yeah. Oh, it's a three. It is a three from the audience. There you go.

[01:15:39] Where's the people right here? Sharon, how are you feeling about these? The chat's not going to like me. Uh, I know we, I'm seeing the ratings from last week. Obviously that was not a great week for D not a great look. I think this week she bounced back a little bit, although it was Rocky because the drew of it all targeting drew. I did not make sense of that. I still think as messy as drew is, I don't think he was ever going to go after her at least not yet. So that was, I totally understand that for this week,

[01:16:10] uh, with the bribe and also just, yeah, being safe. I think her relationship barrier, I think, I think I'm going to give D a six this week. Sorry, chat. Oh, I think it's, I think a six makes a lot of sense for me. Um, and if I'm being real honest, I think there's a world where it could be even higher. I think that positionally she's really good right now. Yash again, I mean, I've already, I've already outlined it all.

[01:16:39] Like there are so many benefits to the position that she has as HOH right now. The fact that drew and Barrett are still not looking to come after her, despite everything that she's done this week so far, now that could still change. And I do think that she completely bought hook, line and sinker into Yash lying to her about drew. And I think that that was really bad and messy. Uh, but it worked out because the damage control was on point. And with Devin's his help, uh,

[01:17:08] they carroted and they sticked and they've got them exactly where they need them to be. And now she's in a position where her actual biggest threat, Mallory is likely going to leave. And are drew and Barrett? They're actually going to retaliate. Probably not. Uh, and they can't really even do anything when it comes to Yash. So like, cause they still need to deal with Yash, especially knowing that Yash can't even come after D. So it's a good position. And she used her power extremely effectively, uh,

[01:17:38] in a way that I think many people didn't anticipate and, uh, and was, was really, really clever and good. Although, uh, you know, it's a lot of people don't like it. It's like, it's still very effective. Um, and she's coming out of this week in a very good spot. So I am going to still going to punish her for like falling for Yash's lies. And I think being a little too blinded by Yash in general, uh, and then being messier than she needed to be, but it's still, yeah, a six for D from me. Uh,

[01:18:08] she's still looking quite good here in the game. Hmm. I'm surprised the chat was saying seven. I'm like, Oh, seven is too much for me right now. I have her seated at a place at a five. Um, only for the fact that like, she is so messy. I think she really, like, it was pretty odd. Like, why was she believing Yash? Like Yash is going to say whatever he needs to say to like, get you to be mad at your allies. Um, and so it's kind of frustrating that she was easily able to, to,

[01:18:37] to believe him here. Um, yes, she did use the power. Like, like, I don't know if I would have thought to use the pride power as effectively as she did. So like that obviously give her some props there. Um, do I bring her up to a six? Like you guys know I have her at a five. And I think also, I just didn't like maybe like the, the vibe of her head of household, you know, like having these bashing sessions in her room, it's just kind of tainting my way that I feel about this, this head of household reign.

[01:19:07] Um, and so, yeah, just because of that, like she was just involved and it was kind of like, yeah, like the culture that she built this, this week, I'm going to keep my five for her. Unfortunately, sorry. It's not just gameplay, but I just got some salty feelings about her. This is the roller coaster. That is the stock watch. Any, any criteria goes. Um, so, uh, the audience, I feel like, I mean,

[01:19:36] they gave her HOH a 4.8. It's gotta be a five, right? If they gave her HOH a 4.8, I think. Oh, wow. They gave her a six. Interesting. Okay. Well, there you go. A six for D. Let's move on then to Devin's, uh, Devin's who I think is in perhaps an even better position than D right now, uh, protected by the same Yash thing.

[01:20:06] Maybe, uh, worse in that, uh, there are a couple more people coming after him in Lala or Taylor. If one of them stays, or sorry, if Taylor stays, um, that both would likely be coming after him. But not in a way that would probably work unless they also go after D and Angela. Um, the way that he tricked Drew and Barrett into revealing their hesitations about him and the Alliance. And then like coddled them in,

[01:20:36] uh, and called them his, his boys, uh, his little boys. And, um, and, you know, really just again proved whatever daddy Devin says, baby boy, Drew follow daddy wants the dub. You know, it's just, uh, it was impressive work. And, um, and I think that he also was the one to correctly identify Mallory as the right target this week. Uh, it's,

[01:21:02] it's all been very effective stuff for Devin's. Um, however, a couple of long-term, uh, issues. Again, he is still a little more vulnerable than D when it comes to being targeted. I'm still not sure that they're going to be able to get through. He in particular, I think is a little vulnerable to, um, to being outed by Yash, who could reveal the true nature of the deal made with the bribe.

[01:21:27] He could be outed by the fact that his vote is necessary to send Mallory out over Taylor in the event that that happens. And that could sort of turn Drew and Barrett against him once and for all, potentially. Uh, and we know he plans to go to the end with D, but D has said that she doesn't necessarily plan to go to the end with him. And if you think about it, his willingness to constantly let people like Drew go and keep around people like Haley and, uh, Barrett,

[01:21:56] which are both D people or closer to D people gives me a, a fear for Devin's. If I'm looking out for his long-term prospects at like, what exactly is his end game other than just winning out? And I don't know that I love that. So long-term prospects are limiting me a little bit here, but he's still going to be, uh, the highest rating of the week for me at seven. Seven. You can do it. You're going to do it.

[01:22:24] I have him at a seven as well. When I, when I came in here, um, because I do think that he is playing how he's playing the game. At least it's, we can see his strategy. We can see him doing the work on people. We were seeing him rebuild relationships. I, I totally love seeing him like use his dad skills to, to trap, uh, the young boys. Um, I thought that that was really like, it was fun, but it was also like, it was very smart.

[01:22:53] And I definitely have to give him props for that. Um, but like, you do mention that the fact that like a lot of people are still kind of coming after him and, you know, his number one ally doesn't necessarily want to be sitting next to him. Not to say that she won't in the end, but like, she's considering to maybe going to the end with somebody else, that being D. And so the fact that he's kind of a little bit more loyal to people that are not as loyal to him, um, for his, his end game, uh,

[01:23:20] just because he's probably the best player in the game. And I think that he will win out likely against everybody else. Um, I'm going to bring him down to a six just because I just feel as though he is public enemy number one. And especially out of the icons, he would be the person that most people will want to take out because they, they know that they can't beat him. So just, he's a little bit in a dangerous spot, even though he's doing some good work to try to mend this. Um, I still think that he's, uh,

[01:23:51] in a dangerous spot. Yeah. Uh, I think I'm going to keep my score though. I, I wasn't thinking about the fact that there are a lot of pro D people still in the game. Uh, I think he did a whole lot of this, like he didn't have to do a whole lot and he still gained a lot. He has production now, um, with the Yash deal. I do think he helped sort of push the Mallory renom and it wasn't even on, you know, on his hands, which I thought was good. Um,

[01:24:20] I also tend to think as, as much as he is like, a target for people. I do think, I guess it varies week to week that his social game could sometimes supersede D's in terms of like one-on-ones. I think D one of the things I wish he did more of was check in with people more, you know, people, someone like Taylor was like, D hasn't even talked to me this week. And I think, so sometimes I feel like Devin's, uh, does that a little better with, with people. So I'm going to keep my seven for Devin's this week.

[01:24:51] Seven more sevens for Devin's. How does the audience feel? They gave, they gave Angela a six and they gave D a six. That makes me inclined to believe they might've given Devin's a seven. I think so. They did. Look at that. Look at that. All right, Chantel, how do you feel about Drew? I don't know how I feel about Drew. What did I write? Okay. I don't feel great about Drew. According to what I've written down.

[01:25:22] you know, Drew, he, he had so much promise at the beginning. Like we were all like rooting for him. And then he keeps on making all these mistakes. Then he talks too much. Then he fixes himself. But then he talks too much. It's like, he doesn't learn from his mistakes. It seems. And he, he, he's getting put back in bad positions. Um, the fact that he's nominated, like I have to give him like a lot of docs here. Um, even though he's not the target, he's most likely to stay out of the three people that are up on the block.

[01:25:52] But like that could change. We see them waffle every Wednesday. We see boats flipping all the time. And so if he's up there, who knows if Devin's going to be like, Oh, maybe it's the time to take out Drew. Like he's just allowed himself to be in this terrible position, um, with his allies. And so I can't really reward him at all for the fact that like, he's likely to stay because he might not. Um, and he's just so messy and he does. It's not improving. Um,

[01:26:20] I am giving him a three. All right, Sharon. The chat is. It's all over the place. Uh, yeah, I think Drew is definitely taking a fall from grace here. I think he's sort of always gotten himself into these sticky situations and then somehow gets himself out of them though. Sometimes through no, uh, action of his own, it seems like he recovered this week a little bit, but I still think, you know,

[01:26:50] at the end of the day, I don't think the icons, you know, next week, it could be a different story with him. And I think even melody is kind of back and forth with what his motives are. And, you know, he does little slip ups. Like I think today he was telling Devin's like, Oh, Mallory still wants to go after. And he's like, okay, let's all the reason to get rid of her. Like, it's just like a little bit messy, but I don't think he's going home. So I gave him a four chat. Don't yell at me. All right.

[01:27:20] I gave him a two. Um, I can feel the two. I think he's playing better than Barrett in terms of like long-term prospects, but, uh, but, but he's just constantly making mistakes. He's constantly getting in his own way. Um, and for as much as he is safe right now, like who really knows, you know, these survivor players, they're all over the place.

[01:27:50] I think if you are on the block, you are in immense danger, regardless of, uh, of how things currently stand. So, uh, about a two, I think makes sense for me. I'm curious to know how the audience feels. Yeah. I feel like they'll, they'll split the difference here. They'll, they'll be with Chantel at a three. Yep. And they are. There you go. All right, then let's talk about Haley. Sharon, how do you feel about Haley's game?

[01:28:20] Oh, yikes. Okay. Um, yes. Haley is one of my lower rated people. I just think, uh, like I said, she never really cares to repair any relationships that are fractured. I don't think she has a lot of winter equity. I think, uh, she's made, you know, she's has, I feel like it's more D pushing a relationship with her. Um, I think she's, I guess, mended things with, uh, Angela to some extent, but I just, I,

[01:28:48] I just can't get over the fact that I don't see her winning this game. Um, I think she can get far. Uh, but I just, she's just not doing a lot. And she also like wanted to go home at one point. So I give her a two. A two. Uh, I'm slightly higher on Haley. I did give her a one last week. Uh, I think this week, obviously much better for her. She's not on the block. She's burrowed her way into the icons group, which is great for her.

[01:29:18] I think she's actually playing better than she has in the last like month. Really? Uh, it's just that like, you know, let's just take a quick look. not great. Um, but, uh, but I do see a path for her. It's one where she, you know, McKenzie's her way to the end and probably still loses just the person she, she brings. But, uh, but, you know, it's a three.

[01:29:45] It's an improvement from near eviction. Uh, I can't be as generous as you are here, Darren, because, you know, sometimes my feelings get out of the way. And, you know, the fact that, that Taylor was trying to have these conversations with her, that it's probably very hard for her to have this kind of confrontation with Haley about what she's been experiencing, what she's going through. And the fact that she was just so opposed to it,

[01:30:12] and there was just no grace to wanting to see Taylor's perspective, wanting to hear her out, wanting to maybe understand like why she's feeling a certain way, what she could, like, what about like, just being like, what can I do to change that? Like she had, there was no part of her that wanted to mend this relationship. It, it, it just, it bothers me too much. And so I don't think she deserves the one. She's not on the block. And I think that, that, that was good of her to be able to, you know, broker some sort of a relationship with D so that she stayed off the block.

[01:30:42] So that's good. So I'm going to move her up from a one, but I can't go higher than a two for Haley because she just like, just the unwillingness to try to heal some, but like he'll heal the relationship she has with Taylor. It was too distasteful for me. All right. Well, the audience I'm going to guess is at a three. I think they, I'm going out on a limb. I think they agree with me on this one. Ooh, that would have been bad if I was wrong. They were in fact a three.

[01:31:12] I'm just a hard week. You know, she's had a hard couple of weeks. She's had a hard few weeks. Really? It's been a hard month or so for Haley. This episode is brought to you by state farm. [01:33:37] $5 or less before taxes and fees. Select items only. Availability varies. See app for details. Let's talk about Lala. Let's talk about Lala. Lala won another competition. She won a veto competition here. I love that. I love that for Lala. I think that obviously this is not like the best position in the world here.

[01:34:01] I think that in many ways, Lala losing Taylor obviously is bad. But losing Taylor this week also not necessarily that bad. I think there's a world where without Taylor, the vets feel like they just fully have her. And don't feel any need to get rid of her. And I think that anybody that is anti-vet also won't feel like there's any need to get rid of her.

[01:34:32] Despite the fact that she has now won two competitions, physical ones, against her competitors that are less than half her age. Most of whom are less than half her age. And that tells me that like I absolutely see a world where Lala comes in clutch and wins a couple of endgame comps. And all of a sudden is a contender to win this game. Do I think it's likely? Do I think it's going to happen? No. No, I don't.

[01:35:00] And at the end of the day, this is still a very bad week for Lala. But I do think that she's one of the better situated people outside of the power structure. I'm going to stick to my four from last week. So with the four that was for Lala for last week, you know, that's I see it for last week and I understand it. And like I want I do want to say that she's going to go up because of the fact that she won this competition against all these other people.

[01:35:29] But the fact that she ended up getting nominated, that means that she had to have gone down from a four to a three at least. And so, you know, with Lala, I can see the path that you're painting out here that she could win some. It's like we know that she could win competitions, which is actually pretty awesome that she's the oldest house guest like ever to compete or one of, you know? Jerry. To compete? Yeah, yeah. Jerry's the oldest to be on the show.

[01:35:56] So one of the oldest and like she's doing pretty well. And so I'm I'm happy for her. But she does put her foot in her mouth a lot of, you know, she's always has a tailor being like, don't say that. Don't approach people that way. You know, kind of being having to have. How she's interacting with people just be kind of what's what I want. Finesced by by Taylor. Taylor. And so Taylor is gone.

[01:36:25] That's also not going to be very good for her, because I do think Taylor helps her a little bit with her interactions with some people. So I'm going to give her. Bounce her back up to the four because of the fact that she would have gone down to a three. She won some power and took herself off the block. So she goes up to the four again. But OK, all right.

[01:36:50] So I've sort of said before that I don't see Lala winning this game and I still stand by that. But I agree. I think as the competitions become more physical, I think especially depending on what happens with Yash, I think she can continue to win. And I think she can make a case for herself. I just even if she got there, I don't think based on what the house, how they view her that she could win. But I agree. I think if Taylor goes out here, it actually might benefit her game.

[01:37:18] I think the person that might have to keep her in check, weirdly enough, is Angela. I don't know the two of them. But, you know, I got to give her props. She won another competition. I don't think she's in. Yes, she went on the block. I don't think she's in immediate danger. So I'm going to actually give her a five this week. A five. I don't know how to write it. Five for Lala. Let's see. The audience last week gave her a four. Could they have given Lala a five?

[01:37:47] I think it's possible. It might be a five. No, it's a five. It is a five. All right. Then let's move on to. Let's move on to Mallory. Chantal, how do you feel about Mallory? Not too good. Not too good. This is going to be a big fall from Grace here. Coming from an eight last week, we were really excited about the possibilities of what Mallory could do.

[01:38:15] And we almost saw what we could do. She could do. And then she slowly walks up to the buzzer and does not press it in time for her to win that head of household competition. The fact that she is very likely to be the one going home if she does not win the blockbuster is crazy for her throwing it. And you know what we have to do.

[01:38:41] We have to punish those who go home are likely to go home after they could have won a head of household that they threw. So, you know what? It's a one. It's got to be one. Sharon. You unfortunately. Yeah, I got to co-sign that. I had so much hope for Mallory. I think she has such good reads on the house sometimes and understands sort of what's going on.

[01:39:10] But at the same time, never seems to do anything about it. It's a lot of, you know, complaining afterwards. And I'm just I wanted to like just shake her and be like, wake up. So, yeah, unfortunately, she gets a one. Yeah, it's a remix. It's a one.

[01:39:39] It's a one from me. Absolutely. I've said enough. You know, you know what I'm doing here. I gave her an eight last week. Is that the biggest drop? It might be. Probably has to be up. I don't think I've ever gone from an eight to a one before. It has to be like, what are we doing? She was in such a good position. She had the right plan. She had the right position. Everyone loved her.

[01:40:07] And then she spent the rest of the week after I gave her that rating going, screw Taryn. Wait till you see this. Let's prove him wrong. Because even before she threw the HOH, the waffling on the kamu vote was ridiculous. And then after all of those mistakes, throws the HOH and is now the primary target.

[01:40:36] And not only did she throw the HOH in a generic sense, she actively and willingly gave it specifically to D. What are we doing? What are we doing? Anyway. She trusted Barrett. The audience, I don't think, will be as low. I think they're going to be a little more great. I think they're going to give her a three. I'll say two. No.

[01:41:05] He gave her the two. That means it was real low. That was probably like a 1.6. She is now the, she is the recipient of a one average rating. If you went in on Mallory last week, I'm very curious to know how much money you just lost. Ooh. Yeah. Someone probably was like, oh, I'm up big with Mallory.

[01:41:34] I'm like down and out. Hmm. All right, then let's talk about Melody. Hey, Sharon, how do you feel about Melody? Oh, I mean, I really like her in the DR. I enjoy watching her, but I just, it's a whole lot of nothing. It's a whole lot of complaining and not doing. And I think she's just there. And I think she's going to continue.

[01:41:59] Like she'll probably go on the block more and more after this week, because I think she's just expendable to people. I don't think she's someone who's necessarily contendered to win right now. I think her relationship with Drew has been sort of all over the place where, I don't know, maybe you pretend. I don't know. You get Drew to keep, get you safe. I don't know. But she's just not doing a whole lot. And so I gave her, I gave her a three. A three. She also threw this HOH. Oh God.

[01:42:29] See, I didn't know that. Maybe I did not know she threw it. Oh God. And what are we doing? I wish I could give her a one, but I feel like it is. I have to reserve that spot for Mallory this week. So Malady is getting away with it too. Cause she also played last week terribly. So who did not throw the HOH? This is crazy. Sorry. Yeah. Dee didn't throw it. Devins didn't throw it. And Angela didn't throw it.

[01:42:59] And Yash didn't play. Terrible. Crazy work. Crazy work. Melody, I don't know what you're doing. I never like people throwing competitions, especially when now all your allies are going to be in danger. Like what's the point? Like she's going to have to make a re-nomination. Having Dee have the power, she's not going to be putting up obviously Angela and Devins.

[01:43:27] It's just like there's so few people for them to choose with. I get it. They're in the Mosh Pit Alliance. They think that they're going to be safe to a certain extent. But if a certain combination of people win power, like she's going to be forced her hand up, even before we know what these nominations are going to be. And so I would be like, do you know what? If I have the opportunity to win this, I want to win this. I want to secure my allies, safety, and then we can maybe reform the Mosh Pit if we want to, but or not, whichever. But it's just, yeah, really frustrating that she, yeah,

[01:43:56] she didn't take the power into her own hands if she could. And she threw it. So I'm with you, Taryn. It's a two. All right. This time, I think the audience will be more. I think it will be three. I think it could even be a four, but I think I'm going to guess three. Yes. It's a three for Melody. Okay. Let's then talk about Taylor,

[01:44:21] who is on the block and is still very much a potential target here. Especially if Melody wins this, or sorry, Mallory wins this blockbuster. And yeah, the season player average is just like dropping this week. Taylor, obviously not in a great spot here, but unlike Drew and parrot and Melody and Mallory, much less so on her own doing,

[01:44:52] which is of course, not to say that she is blameless in the situation that she is in, in terms of being targeted in the game. But she is a lot less blameless, a lot more blameless. than her counterparts in this position. And, and I really do think that this vote is, is going to shift around because the thing that D and,

[01:45:18] and Devin's keep talking about is that they want to make sure they break up the four this week. That's why they want Mallory out. And I'm waiting for them to make the connection that, Oh, if Mallory wins and we take out Taylor, then the four is still there. Um, so I do think that the vote might flip to evict drew against Taylor and Taylor

[01:45:46] might end up being safe regardless for that reason. I think that's a very real possibility. Um, but obviously Taylor is still in a lot of danger. I'm giving her a three. Um, as much as, you know, I, I support Taylor and I support like her. I want to give her a better ranking because of like how she's being treated this week. Um, her position in the game isn't great. She is on the block. She could potentially go home. Like, yes,

[01:46:16] like you said, Taryn, it is possible that they have, they have, you know, a change of heart and they decide to keep her. But at this point, she's not going to be kept into the game. Um, I do think that she has a lot of wit, like she could win competition. So she does say, I do think that she could potentially win the next night of household and maybe change the direction of her game. Um, I'm going to give her a bump up from you. So you give me a three. I'm going to give her a four because I,

[01:46:43] I want to just give her a little bit of positive support here. So hopefully that her game gets uplifted a little bit. Yes. Uh, I do want to, uh, to mention that Melissa has joined the chats. Uh, she wanted to share, uh, why she was not able to make it here. Um, unfortunately, uh, her grandfather passed away this weekend. Um, and that is, uh, why she is not on the podcast tonight. She feels, uh, I think, uh, like, Hey, you know,

[01:47:12] I just want to make sure people know I'd, everyone sends Melissa some love and support here, uh, tonight. If, uh, if you're in the chat right now, or, if you're leaving a comment after the fact, uh, send Melissa your love. Um, it's, uh, obviously going through a bit of a hard time here, but, uh, thanks for popping in Melissa. Good to, good to see you. Hope you're doing well.

[01:47:42] Yes. Shout out to Melissa. I hope I don't disappoint you with some of these. Um, but I, I didn't realize I didn't have enough battery. And so I just had to plug in my computer. I'll be right back. Sure. Yes. Um, all right. Well, uh, Sharon, what are your thoughts on Taylor? Oh, this was a tough one. Also, I did not really consider the fact that drew could go home. And now I'm like, why did I give drew a four? He should have gotten three. But anyway, uh, cause that's a great point that I did not think about.

[01:48:13] Yes. Obviously I think she's in trouble here. Uh, if Mallory wins the blockbuster, that's what I was thinking. I think she has some great instincts. She just doesn't have a lot of good allies and it's not necessarily even her fault. I do think her and Yash maybe like could do some damage, but because he's in with the icons right now, I, I don't know. Uh, yeah, I, I, I gave her a three. All right. Uh, the audience,

[01:48:43] I feel like they've got to be at a three, given how like, they did like a lot this week. I think for her, it was a four. It was a four. There you go. Chantal was, Chantal was in fact, right. Uh, speaking of Chantal, what are your thoughts on Yash, our final player of the week?

[01:49:07] Yash is probably the hardest one to actually rank here because he's not necessarily in a good position, but he then he, he wasn't, he's not put up on the block this week. Um, they could have definitely bounced their side of that check. Um, even though he had to maintain his, like his agreement with the bribe. Um, and so, but they didn't. So that's, I think that's a good, I think that's a plus. Um, he's also obviously really great at competitions. We know that he's very likely to maybe win something in the near future.

[01:49:38] I think. Well, are people coming after him? I think they want to use him maybe to go after the icons potentially. So I think he's going to be kind of on the higher end this week for me. I wrote down a six for Yash because I do think that like, if he uses like his position that he is with the icons, that's three people that he could start this new relationship with. He's going to be able to, you know, I think he could do a lot with it if he, if he chooses to.

[01:50:08] And so with the, the, the prospect of like creating like a new relationship with these icons, putting himself in potentially an even better position further along in the game is, his comp win ability is quite, quite amazing. Um, I, yeah, I'm going to give him a six. I think that he's, he could do some, some good damage further along. All right. Sharon, what do you think? I, I predicted Yash was going to be the first boot.

[01:50:39] He nearly was. Close. He was. And you know, he's an alternate. He came in. I just wasn't sort of into, because when he's doing, when he's performing for Tik TOKs, I'm like, I don't want it. But last night when, you know, when we see that fire, I really, really am impressed with him. I think he did some good work with D trying to throw drew under the bus. She believed it. Um, and I think you guys sort of made me realize that taking the bribe actually could, yes,

[01:51:08] extend his safety for a while. I think he's also someone who does have winter equity. He can win competitions. I think he would have a case at the end. So I am going to give him. Ooh, I'm wavering. I think I'm going to give him a six too. I was going to give him a five, but now that I'm thinking about it, I think he's okay for at least another week or two. Yeah. I mean, I have been back and forth about a five or six. I think he played really well this week.

[01:51:37] I think he comes out of this week looking much better. The fact that he managed to convince D to essentially nominate drew in his place was really good. Obviously the bribe helps that out a lot. If drew leaves this week, that is a phenomenal outcome for Josh. It's easily a six. If Mallory or Taylor leave this week, that is still a pretty big loss for Josh. Josh, even if he is in a safer position moving forward, uh,

[01:52:04] because now he has fewer people who can actually go after the icons and more people who are coming after him, meaning specifically drew and bear it. Um, and so that is, that is the tough position for Josh and being so hamstrung, uh, he's got this weird position where like, he can't really win HOH and that limits his potential in the game. Um, and if he does, that puts him in a lot of danger. If he reveals the fact that he made a deal,

[01:52:32] that could be sketchy for him because he's no longer useful to the other side or even more dangerous to anybody that isn't an icon. Um, because the second he says, Hey, I can't target any of the icons. You might go, Oh, well then I need to win HOH and target the icons. Or you might think, wait a minute. If Josh ever wins HOH and there are still even two icons left, he might be forced to target me.

[01:53:00] He's actually more dangerous to me than the icons are. Um, and so he kind of has to keep it quiet a little bit. It's, it's just a bit of a mess here for Josh. Uh, so I am going to go with the five, uh, and, um, and we'll see, we'll see how things go from here, but I do like how he's played this week. I think that he's done a very good job. Uh, I just think that he's been put in a, in a little bit of a pickle, a little bit of a pickle that frogs are jumping over. Uh,

[01:53:30] anyway, the audience, I think they might agree with you. They might give him a six. I think five. Yeah. Yeah. Five, I think it is a five. It is a five. All right. They're with me. Okay. Uh, those are the ratings for the week. Uh, definitely a down week in the stock watch. Um, we, uh, we have only four people, uh, only three people above a five, uh,

[01:54:00] D devins and Yash, Angela at the five, and then everyone else a four or below, uh, really a four, three or a one. The last time I was on the stock watch, I was giving Morgan a 10 and then I come in and giving people once. What are you going to do? What are you going to do? Um, all right. Any last thoughts then before we wrap up this week's round table? I'm, I'm definitely hoping that,

[01:54:30] uh, you know, the production addresses some of these things. You know, we, we want the live feeds. We want to be watching these social experiments. And as much as like, we don't like what's going on in the house. I do think that it's, it's an opportunity for everybody to learn and, and understand people's perspectives and point of views in the house and stuff like that. And so I really hope that the production takes the time to just to address it and, and not hide it from us because if it's happening, I think we deserve to be shown it.

[01:55:00] And I want it to be handled like well and appropriately. So I'm crossing my fingers that at least we can have some healing through how the production kind of deals with this situation. And, and then I hopefully, um, I guess Mallory gets her comeuppance because I, well, I need, I need people to know that you shouldn't throw these out of households. Um, as much as I like her, she needs to learn a lesson. And so those are my two thoughts for the week. Yeah.

[01:55:29] Mallory's going to have a rough Friday with exit interviews. If she goes out, I think, uh, I agree. I hope they show sort of Taylor's DRs. Cause I think the way that she's sort of approaching it would be actually a perfect way to show it because she tried to show grace and grace was not given. And so, uh, yes, I think if they show it on Wednesday, I think that would be great. I think hiding, it doesn't help the situation. In fact, I think it sort of makes Twitter more toxic place when we don't address these things. Um, but yeah, I think it's, I think,

[01:55:58] and then obviously on Thursday, I'm keeping my expectations low, but hoping for the best when it comes to this twist, because I do think, I don't know. I can completely change the rest of the game depending on what it is. And I'm a little scared. We will see indeed. All right. Well, that is what we have for you then tonight on the big brother, 28 round table podcast. I'll be back tomorrow morning, 11 AM Eastern to update you on everything that happened today and will happen tonight on the big brother, 28 live feeds.

[01:56:27] Um, and then head it off to Milwaukee where, uh, we will have some live recaps, some live, live feed updates. Uh, it'll be a good time. The thousandth episode will be live there in Milwaukee, hanging out, eating cheese curds. Uh, and the other things, everybody, everybody has said, I'm going to Milwaukee. They say two things. They go where? And they go, Oh, you're gonna have some cheese curds then. And I was like,

[01:56:57] I guess so. It's gross. No, I thought it was this like gross. I was like, okay, sure. I'll try them. Cause I will try it. But like, I thought it was going to be gross. Then I look it up and it's like, it's just like mozzarella balls. Yeah. Basically. So you've never had poutine before? Yeah. I was going to say it's a Toronto. It's what other people said. They're like, well then that you haven't had poutine. I didn't even realize cheese curds were, I thought poutine was just fries. No, it's fries with cheese curds and gravy. It's delicious, but anyways, curds in a way, it's just, you know,

[01:57:27] it's a part of it. What if you just had fries and cheese curds with no gravy? It's the gravy. And you're just eating fries and mozzarella. It's too dry. It's not even mozzarella. It's like mozzarella sticks are, I think like the closest comparable, I would assume to cheese curds. Oh no, no, no, no, no. In terms of how they're, but in terms of like, it's like a breaded cheese, essentially. No, no, no, no, no cheese curd. It's like, it's like squeaky. So it's like, like,

[01:58:03] I guess I'll find out when I get there. Oh my God. Can you, can you do a, a taste online? Like live? Nope. Okay. Maybe, maybe I guess they may, there are deep fried versions. That's what I saw when I looked it up. Maybe they do things with cheese curd. That is maybe a little different. Who knows? Cheese curds on its own. You can buy it on its own in like a little, you know, bag or whatever. And like, it's like squeaky little cheese, little coily things. Curd is not a word I want to eat. Usually.

[01:58:33] Curds and whey, a little Miss Muffet. No. Yeah, I got that. Part of the process. Needs a rebrand. All that stuff. Anyway, we'll be in Milwaukee. We'll have a good time. Make sure you check out my Patreon. We're doing all kinds of fun stuff over there. Streaming videos, all kinds of good stuff. The podcast we got again, we got more podcasts coming up. Chantel, what do you got going on? Well, I'm going to be in Milwaukee. So,

[01:59:02] maybe we'll try those cheese curds together. And maybe there's going to be some deep fried cheese curds as well. So that'll be a lot of fun. I'm just hanging out with everybody, doing different podcasts, playing different games. It's going to be a time. And then over at Recap Kickback, I'm still doing my Sunday school diligence with Chappelle, where right now we're going through season one of Rock of Love. I've not been on any of this journey. So we've started with Flavor of Love season one, season two. Then we did Isle of New York.

[01:59:31] Then we did Charm School. And now we're on Rock of Love season one. Episode seven will be on Sunday. And so join us on Sunday school while I am getting educated on this universe. So that's been a very, very fun time. All right. And Sharon, what do you got going on? Yeah, you could check out my podcast, The Exclusive, on YouTube. I also have a Patreon, all that good stuff. I usually go live on Twitch every Thursday, but this Thursday I will be in LA for the thousandth episode.

[02:00:00] So hopefully I'll get to hang out with some former house guests, get to talk to them, get as much content as possible. And then of course, on Friday, I'll be talking to whoever gets evicted this week. We shall see. We shall see. All right. Well, thank you all so much for joining us here tonight. And we will see all of you next time. Make sure you send your love to Melissa. You know, those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem. That's why I love Uber Eats.
