BB28 Roundtable Week 12

BB28 Roundtable Week 12

Also available on YouTube.

Big Brother 28 is at a turning point as the last roundtable of the season kicks off, diving into the suspense around who will take home the win. In this episode, Taran Armstrong, Melissa Deni, and Aman Adwin reflect on the chaos and strategy that’s brought Drew, Devens, and Taylor to the final three. The panel breaks down game-changing HOH decisions, surprising votes, alliance shifts, and jury predictions, making sense of all the moving pieces in the BB28 house.

The conversation begins with the aftermath of Drew’s controversial decision to evict Dee instead of Devens, a move shaped by last-minute deals and assumptions about HOH competitions. Taylor’s under-the-radar path draws comparisons to past winners, while Devens’s bold gameplay and Drew’s comp wins and social recoveries are put under the microscope. The panel unpacks jury vote math, each houseguest’s road to the finals, and audience survey results that show just how divided public opinion is. They also discuss how long the final three has been left to stew, the effect on the players, and how these marathon endgames can impact feeds, viewer ratings, and strategy.

  • Melissa points out how Taylor’s subtle game could mirror surprising wins from past seasons if she can own her moves in a final speech.
  • Aman observes that Taylor’s role as an observer outside the main alliances gives her a unique underdog narrative.
  • Taran analyzes the vote breakdowns and highlights how tight the spread is among Drew, Devens, and Taylor in audience favorites and jury predictions.
  • The panel agrees that comp wins, last-minute deals, and how the finalists explain their journey to the jury could all be decisive.

The game is wide open between Drew, Devens, and Taylor, and alliances have given way to solo strategies as finale night approaches. Will Taylor’s studying and social reads pay off, or did Drew make his best move by choosing Devens? Tune in for the full roundtable to find out which houseguest might outplay the rest and secure the win.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_02] Hello everyone and welcome to the Big Brother 28 Roundtable Podcast. This is the podcast where we talk about everything from the feeds. I'm your host Taran Armstrong and we have a special guest with us at the start of this podcast. Callan, hello.

[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_00] Callan, say hi. Hi. It's working. You just, sorry, you just can't hear. Here.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, thank you. Hello. Hi Callan. Oh my God. I love it. How you doing?

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_00] Sorry. I figured Callan would just come in in the beginning and then that way. Yeah, yeah. It's his, uh, it's his last possible appearance for this season. So I just figured he could make a quick appearance and then we'll get down to the next. Yeah, yeah. He's very excited. Oh, you like it? You want to hear it more? Well, you can, you're gonna have to do it another time. Okay. Bye. Okay. Now you gotta say bye-bye. Bye-bye.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_03] Bye-bye.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, there you go. He's so big. I know. I know. He's so big.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_02] Crazy, crazy. All right. Well, of course, this is the podcast again where we talk about everything from the feeds. We rate the players from one to ten based on what we think they're doing. It's the final round table of the season. Uh, you just heard Melissa is with us as always. Also with us tonight is Amon. How you doing, Amon? I am absolutely fantastic.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_05] Um, I'm sure many of you are very happy that I was not on the round table until the very last one so that I could not ruin any of your, of your stocks. You'll be very pleased to know, but I am a plenty of time to ruin their own.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Uh, there's like three people leaving in one week.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_05] I was here to say, I feel like this season really didn't need my help. So, but I'm glad to be here. Glad to be here.

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. All right. Well, yes. The last time we spoke, I believe there were, there were still four people in the house. We lost three people. Then we were down to four last week and now officially down to three. We did have an outcome that was not entirely expected, which is that, uh, D was evicted. Drew chose to evict D.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02] We still don't have like full clarification on exactly why or when this decision was made. Uh, but it seems as though it was some combination of maybe he was always leaning this way. Maybe he was looking for a reason to keep Devins. Uh, maybe it was part of his assumption about what part three of the final three HOH is, which is that he thinks it's questions about jury statements, like about the personality of the

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_02] jurors versus what it actually is, which is questions about stats of the jurors, uh, facts to be studied. Um, and then also that he approached D with a deal for her to throw part one of the final three HOH to him. And she said no. And then when he approached Devins, he said yes. Uh, all of these things, and maybe none of them were, uh, factors in this decision that led to D being evicted.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02] Devins coming into the final three at which points Taylor beat both drew and Devins in part one of the final three HOH leaving drew to compete against Devins in part two, where Devins pulled out a must win against drew and now heads into part three against Taylor in

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_02] said factual quiz competition that Devins still does not know he needs to study for while Taylor has been hard at work studying though. So not on a phone guys. Um, so, uh, so that's where we are. Our final three of showdown between Devins and Taylor for who is going to take drew to the final two. And we still don't know who is going to win the season. Melissa.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02] What are your thoughts?

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_00] I just, I, well, okay. So while you were saying all that stuff, I just had a thought like, because, and this could just be totally wrong, but I could see a scenario where if Taylor wins, it could be very reminiscent of maybe Harris in BB can six because, or maybe at least for me, because when Paris won, I was like, I don't know.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_00] I got, did she even know what she was really doing the whole time? Like, I felt like Kayla, we knew that she knew the moves she was making and why, but Paris, it was a lot more behind the scenes. And we were kind of like, is that like a satisfying winner? And at least for me, so I know a lot of people were on team Paris and to just from the get go and good on you. I was not just because I was more interested in Kayla's game.

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00] But then afterwards, when Paris did the deep dive with you and she was able to talk about every single week and explain why she did what she did and what she was seeing around her and what made her do what, what she did. I was like, okay, she knew all along what was going on. And I could see a scenario, especially after the way that Taylor has kind of spoken about the season so far, even just like her conversations with Drew and Devin's talking about like, oh,

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_00] well, you made this move because of the X, Y, Z. And Devin's like, did I? It's very, I could see a scenario where she does a deep dive with you and is able to fully understand and express and explain why she made each of her moves and, and where they came from and what she was thinking. So that just, I don't know, like, I don't know where I'm going with this, but I'm just saying that that just like brought that up in my mind as like, oh, maybe that's what we're looking for here. Maybe.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, I don't know. I absolutely think she could. I mean, just hearing her conversation last night where she was rage baiting Devin's and, uh, and primarily Devin's, uh, you know, I think that she is, she is very aware of, uh, of like most of the, especially now that she's had a lot of these conversations with Drew and Devin Devin's. They've been very open about the game that has been played to this point. Um, and something else that I've, that I've liked about Taylor as a player, uh, is that

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_02] she generally has been pretty good about knowing when people are lying. Uh, obviously she wasn't quite able to catch that the tethers Alliance wasn't real. So that's probably the biggest, uh, falter there. Um, but she definitely like knew that the conversations she was having at the time were not like great ones. Um, and, uh, but, but in particular, I think the thing I'm referring to the most is that she

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02] talks about people's tells a lot. Uh, and that Devin has a tell where he shakes his leg. Uh, and it's like, yeah, I was talking about that tell, like at the start of the season. And she's also something, somebody that recognizes that, uh, she generally has been able to, uh, to get a good sense of like where people stand. That said, again, it's certainly not to claim that she is faultless in her reads.

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, she does, I think, seem to think she has a better shot at getting these vote than she, uh, than she actually will. I think D in general is a blind spot for most people. I think most people believed D, uh, when she lied to them. So, you know, we'll see. But, um, but I do think each person here in the final three has a very interesting and unique path to the end. Um, and, uh, it'll be very interesting to see which one is rewarded. I'm on.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. You know, with Taylor, I, I, I, first of and foremost, I love the fact that this is everyone's game still. Right. Um, and I, I kind of echo what both of you have said about Taylor. Like I, I think the Paris comparison is interesting because I will, I will say that I think that Paris obviously was a bit more, a bit more active in what was going on. And like the alliances around her were a little bit more stable than with, with Taylor. Taylor.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_05] But I think the cool thing about Taylor is that because of the fact that she was sort of like so iced out of so much of like the locus of power throughout this season, it's kind of made her. It even with some of the bad reads that Taryn just mentioned, I still feel like it's kind of made her sort of like the straight man of the season where she can like sit back and observe all of the BS that is happening with, with the icons and just like able to

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_05] sort of like call people on their, on like how they've been playing this game. So I think that it sort of allows her to sit back and be like, Hey, you thought that this was going to happen for your game, but it didn't. You thought that this was going to happen for your game, but it didn't. I played this game by myself for the most part. Um, I had great people like Yash that were able to help me like get this far as well.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_05] Um, but I'm, I was able to sort of like sit here and look at how things were going to go for everyone else. And all of you like drop like flies while I'm the last one standing. So I think, I think if she's able to like lean into that narrative, um, to like really sell how aware of what was going on, she was, I think that that could be a very attractive thing for the jury to, you know, sit there and be like, Oh, well, she wasn't maybe she was in her pod a lot of the time, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't know what's going on.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_05] And I think, you know, just being observant, I think is, I think that's going to be the key to her being able to sell that. Some of the moves, even if they weren't always like intentional, some of the moves that she was making or the navigation of the circle circle circles that she was making ultimately kept her safe as long as it did. So we'll see. Yeah.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, it does feel like, I'm sorry. I was just going to say this does feel like one of the few finales where we're going into it. Truly. We don't, there's no clear winner. I feel like in most of the past seasons, there was a clear winner and maybe those people didn't win. Like maybe there was an upset, but usually you have one person that's like this person for sure is going to win it. As long as they get there.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_02] We knew Morgan or Ashley, whoever won part three was very likely to win the game.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00] And this one, I don't think there's anybody who's drawing dead. And I think that there's usually at least one person who is getting dragged to the end who were like, this person's not winning anything. And that is not the case here. So it's very exciting. And I truly, I literally have no idea who is going to win on Thursday.

[00:11:15] Yeah. Yeah.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. It's going to be an interesting one. Another part of this week that is somewhat unique to this season, at least in comparison to recent previous ones, is that this final three end game has been dragged out. Yeah. Why do they do this? In the recap that I gave at the start of the podcast, normally there's like a lot to catch up on. Basically, the only thing to catch up on is that Drew made his decision and then parts

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02] one, parts two. And then just like we are reduced to the most minor of details like, hey, who's studying and who's not studying and like, what are the in like small details of the conversations that they're having? I that have, you know, if you listen to the updates been supremely talked to death, going over jury votes, like we will be doing these things. In particular, I think with the survey, I'm very curious to know what the audience thinks

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_02] about jury votes and and stuff like that. Um, but, uh, but I would say especially me, like I feel like I've, I've talked about every conceivable thing at this point. So I am very much more curious to hear from the two of you. Uh, if you have any sort of like thoughts on this end game, this final three jury votes, uh, who's taking who anything else, uh, on your minds here.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, I have been famously ready to see the icons go. Um, but with that being said, it's almost as if this very, very long end game would actually have been more entertaining had D and Devin still been here because then the conversations would have been more about like, you know, it's the final showdown. They got, they got four days like D and Devin's to really try to manipulate whoever the third

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_05] is there to taking one of them. That could have been a bit more interesting. Would it have still been kind of like redundant? Probably, but at least it would have been still more intrigue as like they made it to the final three. Now, at this point, one of them probably will go. So what does that look like? Um, I'm glad that we didn't end up there because again, I wanted one of them to go. But yeah, I mean, I, uh, I, I think that this, this scheduling is very, very, very strange. It feels like they did not think this all the way through.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_05] Like, I don't, I'm not really sure why they chose to do it this way.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_02] I've seen, I will, I, I guess this is something to talk about the decision to extend this end game, uh, in the way that it, that it is. Uh, I have seen a lot of people be like, man, this is what a, what a bad decision. Like, uh, like this is so boring, but like, they don't care about live theaters. No, they don't. Or are most of the live theaters watching at this time in the season anyway. Uh, I think for them, it makes almost no difference. Right.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_05] But they don't care about us care about the players.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_02] Like they're just sitting there.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00] Like, do we think they care about the players either?

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_02] Like, it's just, I mean, for them, it's like, Oh, we gotta, we gotta keep them there for five more days. Like, uh, all right.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, I mean, it's, it's yeah, it's too long. It's just too long. I mean, I, I've said this many times. I love big brother, but it's always too long. This is not even just like, Oh, this part is too long. I think that like, it should not go until October. It should literally be a summer show that starts mid June and ends mid August. That should be it.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02] Part of the strength of the show is its flexibility in when they put it on air and how long they run it for it's just a nice, like it, it slots in. Well, it's just a, a time slot.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_05] It has to get to CBS premiere week, right? Where they're promoting all of their new material and everything. I like, I look, I've, I like long seasons. I do. And I, I, I hold that, that like desire to have long seasons also with like the critique of like, yeah, the end game is kind of crazy. And I think to me, the fix is to just maybe stretch out the middle game a bit more.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_05] And then when we get to the end, that's when shit gets like picked up and revved up. I mean, like let's finish strong, you know?

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02] I do think that's generally what they've done, right? It's just in this season in particular, they've, they've, you know, lengthened this final three section, but like they really speed up seven, six, five, four, three. We're good. Yeah. See why did yeah.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00] Like why do that? I'd much prefer to watch seven people in a house than I would to watch three people in a house. So like maybe just a little, a little more, but yeah, I agree with what I'm on said though. I do feel like the end game would have been a lot more interesting to me. And I feel like I would have had more interest in it or intrigue, I guess if it was D and Devon still there, because I do think that is a huge toss up. Like, I think that like, yes, it could go either way, but if Devon's is in the finale, he'll probably get it.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_00] And I think that like, if D and Devon's were still there together, I think that would have been a much more interesting conversation for us to have in particular tonight to say, okay, who do we think did more, who we think was a more impressive player? Who do we think they'll respect more in the jury house or want to win? And I think that to me would have been a much more interesting conversation than the one that we currently are going to have.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_05] And it gives them much more time to like put their foot in their mouths, like piss off the third or piss one another off. Cause we've already seen D and Devon's kind of get into it with one another before. So like when it's really just the two of them plus one and they're trying to like play this tug of war game, that could have been really, really fun to watch for sure. Yeah.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_02] See, I think I'm on the opposite side of this. I think there should be fewer people in the house. No, no, I think there should, they should already be down to the final two. Uh, because that's what they used to do.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00] They used to run the final three jury questioning.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02] Oh, I thought you made a smaller.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_05] Okay.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00] I got you. I got you. Okay.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_05] Okay. Yeah, that's fine.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00] Which I, yes, absolutely. Like they should be filming stuff right now where the jury is questioning them and all this stuff. And then the winner is just revealed on, on Thursday. That's what they should be.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_05] And then you can have a live reunion right there on stage.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, exactly.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00] The reunion.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_02] They would do the final three HOH. The decision would be made. They'd go down to the final two. The final two would then talk like we made it no more game and in the, their guards would be down. It was, it was a whole different dynamic. It's so interesting to watch those moments, maybe even go back and read about those moments, uh, where it's just the final two in the house. Uh, prepping for their own speeches and jury questioning, worrying about like, what are they going to ask us? We're so worried.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_02] Then they film it and the feeds come back and they're talking about it. Oh my God, I got roasted. Uh, I don't know if they're going to vote for me. Uh, it's a whole interesting dynamic that we don't get to see anymore. Uh, and it leads to better finales because it's better paced and the jury questioning segment is better. Uh, that's, that's what I would like to do personally.

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. They wanted to survive or fire this season so bad. Do it this way, please. Like, come on now. Whatever.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, anyway, um, should we, should we get into some survey questions? I feel like we've got plenty to discuss there. Yes, let's do it. All right. Uh, well, of course we do have the favorite player rankings as well. Uh, look at this little mosaic. One last gander at this here, uh, for the favorite player rankings.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_02] Um, we have, uh, a final three Taylor Evans and drew, uh, currently in that order. Um, how do we think the final order is here in the player rankings?

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_05] Well, I have been getting a lot of stuff on my timeline talking about how drew is, um, in the lead for getting AFP. Um, so that leads me to believe that drew might be towards the top. Um, with Devon's in the middle and then Taylor. Okay. So a full reversal.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_05] That's just, just based off of what I've seen so far. I don't know if all of those votes necessarily translate to who's voting in this, but I was kind of surprised with that.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02] Melissa, do you agree?

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_00] Gosh. I, yeah, I feel like I'm seeing a, like a lot of drew love everywhere right now. And I don't know if that's just the algorithm showing me that or something else, but I do feel like I'm seeing a lot of positivity about drew. And yeah, I probably would agree with what I'm on says. Like, yeah, drew devins and Taylor probably.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_02] I don't know.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_00] It's hard because yeah. Oh, there we go. Oh, okay.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_02] There they go.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_00] Wow.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00] Is that literally the, a complete reversal?

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. That's so funny. Reversal from last week. Uh, I mean, to be fair, last week, uh, the round table was just after Taylor's final four. H O H. Um, so there was a lot of, uh, like, you know, enthusiasm. Um, but, uh, but here it is drew what, what a ride for drew starting high, falling low, coming back up, falling back down, going back up.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, this is a basic presidential approval rating trend. Uh, let's just, let's just look at the old first. I mean, you know what, first, which what I should show you is that. In the, uh, in the spread, the score spread chart, it's actually, it's quite close between all three. It's in fact, incredibly close between all three. Uh, wow.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01] That is so close.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02] It's, uh, yeah. I mean, just for, uh, for comparison, like last week, the spread was, uh, like much more the week before that. The spread was way more. Um, this is like, this is the closest spread we've, we've had all season by a huge margin. There's only three players, but like, they're all quite close, uh, here in the rankings, but I want to look at, um, you know, like, uh, like, let's just take a look at these journeys.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_02] Right. Like I think drew started relatively in, in a relatively high position. He was below the, uh, the icons for the most part, but he was in the crossover and the crossovers of the favorite alliance of that first week. Uh, you can see Devins was just above him in fourth place. And then Taylor started the season back in 12th place. Um, then as the, uh, as D and Angela really started there, like, we can't trust drew.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_02] He's a snake, uh, campaign. He got a lot of sympathy, right? Like it was like, this guy doesn't deserve it. He's so loyal to these people. And he was first place for two rounds in a row while Devins, uh, stayed at fourth and then rose to second, uh, in his third week post his, uh, Rome move, uh, in the last week. The second week, then, uh, Taylor stayed down in 12th in, in week two, but on week three had a sharp rise.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, and I'm trying to remember week three would have been Kamu's HOH and, uh, and she was being a lot more active that week in terms of trying to make alliances. This is when she started to try to make the Tethers alliance. She approached Kamu. She approached Devins. Yeah. Um, and, uh, and I think people were really starting to see something. Opposition building. Yeah. They're in week three. Yeah.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_01] Then I feel like, yeah. Oh, go ahead.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_02] Oh, well, uh, Drew then falls in week five on Haley's HOH. This is when the, the hammer finally dropped on him and he goes on the block and he still didn't see the light. So he falls back down to fifth place. I think people kind of lost faith. I think there was a lot of buildup for like, Ooh, when drew finds out, he's going to turn on the crossovers. Yeah. It's all going to be their fault. And then he went on the block and he was still loyal. And it was like, Oh my God, what is this? What is this kid doing?

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, Devins takes a small fall there as well because it wasn't good for Devins is game to allow this to happen. And then, uh, Taylor, uh, continues to rise as I think her, uh, her alliances, um, uh, kept her safe that week. You know, she, despite, uh, that's also when she, no, sorry. That's when she won the veto, uh, um, the, the poison cup veto, uh, on Haley's HOH. Very impressive stuff.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_02] So then, uh, a small, you know, steady back to, back to positive for drew over weeks four, five and six. Um, that would have been post Haley. That would have been, uh, after Haley came Lala and Yash, it would have been Lala and Yash. He manages to avoid the block in both weeks. Uh, and he, um, he like manages to sort of like, I think steadily rise in popularity while Devins stays. Most of the same.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02] Devins very consistent through that side of things. Um, where, uh, Taylor, uh, stayed consistent in week five on Lala's HOH, but then on Yash's, uh, starts to drop. Um, and I'm not sure why that would have been the case here for Yash's HOH. I mean, at this point in the game, this is probably Taylor's, um, most sort of active and powerful section. She was very influential on Lala's HOH.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_02] She was influential on Yash's HOH. She was building multiple alliances with her in the core of some of them at the very least. Um, but, uh, but the audience was not quite on board at the time. I'm trying to think this would have been just post Kamu, uh, diamond power of veto as well. So, uh, so Devins didn't get a huge boost from that. Um, and Taylor has a big fall, uh, from that, uh, in popularity.

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_02] Not entirely sure why, especially because the following week she shoots up to first place. Yeah. What happened to week seven? That would have been Dee's HOH. Hmm. Hmm. Okay. Oh, of course. Uh, this is when they, uh, this is when drew to prove his loyalty goes off on Taylor and Lala, uh, as the attack dog for the icons.

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_02] And I think sympathy for, uh, for Taylor is at an all time high here as she gets into first place. Uh, Devin stays mostly the same. And this is where drew starts to dramatically drop because people are like, this is messed up. Why is true doing all this? It seems excessive. They don't like some of the things he's saying. Um, and that drop continues into week eight and stays through week nine. Uh, and that's also where Devins drops into week eight and week nine.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_02] This is the medieval twist into Drew's HOH. Uh, and then, um, following Drew's HOH, it would have been Barrett's HOH. Uh, and so this is one of Devins low points here. Uh, Barrett's HOH, which makes some sense, uh, because that was, uh, probably his most salty, uh, where Taylor is just kind of hanging around in the top three here.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02] Second and third in weeks eight and nine. Then drew has a spike recovery in week 10. This would be Yasha's HOH. He wins that veto. Uh, and this is, I think truly when the drew Nassant's era occurred. I think people loved watching him win that veto. Uh, and the like drew Liddy stuff really started, uh, kicking into high gear because that's also the week that Barrett got evicted.

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, which meant that, uh, melody and drew get a lot closer. He does fall to fourth than the following week, which is technically last place. But I think again, it was still pretty tight between all four of them. And drew, uh, I think retained a pretty high popularity through the end game, uh, where Devins also had a big spike in week 10. Um, and he just maintained his spot above drew, uh, and then stayed relatively consistent.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_02] And I think similarly, uh, Taylor, I think in this end game, it, it really just evened out for the most part. Like you see these big jagged lines, but it was all pretty close between the three of them over the course of these final three weeks. Yeah.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. I feel like, um, it's interesting cause Devins never went below a five.

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_00] So I feel like he's always been in the top half, like throughout the whole thing, even when people were kind of like, it's like, he was still top five. So that's pretty impressive. I think, um, drew and Taylor had more of an up and down sort of situation. Taylor, you know, started very low. I personally think like, I don't think her intro package and her video interviews and stuff were that great. Um, I certainly wasn't very high on her.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_00] I just felt like I didn't know who she was. Um, so I'm certainly a lot higher on her now, now that we know what she can do and who she is. But in the beginning I was kind of like, I don't know about her. So I can see why it kind of like started low and kind of spiked up. I think like, yeah, I do think this is a bit misleading. Cause it looks like, oh, now she's dropped in popularity when really like, they're all like so close up there. And it's just like, like changing very little each, um, week.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00] But yeah, it's, it's interesting to see. I think, I think drew probably had the most change as far as what I could tell the sentiment was. I think Taylor kind of was sort of like in the middle hovering, but then at certain points spiked up. Whereas drew, I feel like he started very high or he started like a little high and then went really high. And then just kind of dropped and dropped and dropped until this like end game.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00] Um, mainly because yeah, I did feel like he was kind of, um, I was really into drew in the beginning because I felt like he was kind of scrappy and reminded me of like a Zach Rantz type, which, you know, I always have fun watching. But then I felt like he kind of was just a lapdog or whatever for the vets. And I was like, this is not so interesting to me. Like he needs to play his own game. This is not going to be a winning game at this point.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_00] Um, but then I do feel like he kind of made inroads with other people. And, um, like you said, winning that veto and, you know, now winning, winning when he needs to win. I do feel like I can see why that's spiking so much, but, uh, yeah, it's, it's definitely interesting to see these, the changes over time for sure. Yeah.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. All right. Should we go to some questions then?

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Let's get into it. All right. Uh, let's talk through the ratings for the episodes. It's going to be the final week of episode ratings. So we are still ending, uh, you know, a lot earlier than some of these, uh, seasons. And I mean, a lot earlier, certainly earlier than paper, the 25, which is one forever. Um, what were the episodes rated this week?

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02] This time in a season, the episodes usually not very high except for again, randomly big brother 21. Uh, I think this end game is still around the time that like Tommy makes his final stand and Jackson come ups with comes up with the lie and all of this stuff. Uh, otherwise pretty low ratings for week, uh, 12, uh, in the episodes last week, week 11, this season got a 6.1.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_02] So a 5.3 this week, which is still higher than any other season that made it to week 12. Uh, big brother 27 did not. Uh, although to be fair, 5.3 is exactly the same rating of the final big brother 27 episode, uh, ratings. So, um, okay. Pretty, pretty decent considering.

[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. I mean, I feel like the fact that again, like we just said that there is still, um, a level of intrigue here, I think has people very engaged with what's going on. Even if, um, the feeds themselves aren't necessarily popping. Um, there's just a lot of debate about, okay, well, what happens if it's this final two, what happens if it's that final two? And so I think that's lending itself, um, to this score a lot.

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_05] And, you know, D was kind of still here this week a lot of the time. So I think that that also gives more intrigue to what ultimately ends up happening towards the end of this week. So I think this is fair.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_02] This also gives us our official season average, uh, for big brother 28 of 6.1 season average for episode ratings. It actually never went below a five except for week eight. I assume that is the medieval week, uh, because those episodes sucked.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, that makes sense.

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, so pretty good, pretty good for episodes. And I will say, I think I, I think I agree. I think that like, um, as somebody who streams for every single episode, uh, and therefore like does not have the luxury of like tapping out at any point or like not giving my full attention. Um, sometimes these episodes can be pretty brutal to get through.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_02] And I think overall this season, I didn't have as many of those moments when I'm like into it. And, and I should have because of how many like two hour episodes there were, but I didn't have that many moments where I was like, Oh, I'm dying watching this episode. Uh, I feel like they weren't always amazing. In fact, they weren't often amazing. Um, but, uh, but I think around a six out of 10 makes a lot of sense to me for the episodes.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah, I think so too. I think, I think like a lot of the episodes this season were very, was, were fairly engaging. There were a few that were kind of bloated with the size and we were really like just stretching them out over two hours. But I think that they really did a good job of like telling the story this past season, um, and really hitting those key moments that there's like, there's like seasons of big brother where I'm like, yeah, if you miss the live feeds, you're completely done.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_05] So like, you're not going to get the real thing, but I feel like BB 28, it's like, you know, you'll get the general gist from what happens on these episodes. So, you know, I'm not mad about it. I'm not mad about it.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. I feel like there, it could be a lot worse in terms of like the edit and trying to tell some story that's not actually happening. Like, I feel like this season, if you were to watch the episodes only, I think I would be okay with like saying, yeah, I think you got it. I don't think there's anything that you like truly missed out on. Well, obviously you miss out on watching the feeds in the moment, blah, blah, blah. But I don't think there's anything that like, like the Johnny thing in big brother six or big brother Canada six to bring up big brother Canada six again.

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00] But when Johnny saved himself and it was nowhere in the edit and that was like so exciting to watch on the feeds and so impressive. And then it was just like nowhere to be found. You really needed to.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_02] One of the worst seasons for that. Right.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_00] Like if you watch the edit, you're not going to get the full story. And here, I do think you would get the full story.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_02] I wouldn't say the full story. I would say inadequate story. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_00] Like enough of the story to like get it. Yeah.

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_02] And I think BB unlocked. There's a lot of big holes still, I would say. But yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_02] Well, this season also contributed one week into the top five. That's week one with a 7.2 in fourth place of all of the weeks that we have tracked since big brother 21. Let's move on to the feeds. This is bound to be a bit more brutal, though. It tends to be brutal in general. A 3.7 is the average for a season that makes it to week 12 for feeds.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_02] And the highest final rating, final week rating of feeds was in fact last season's 5.3 for big brother 27, which makes a lot of sense. But this has been a lengthy final three. Last week was a 5.6. This week, a 3.7, which is very in line. In fact, it is exactly the average for a week 12.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_02] And to be fair, is one of the slightly higher final weeks of a season. You know, certainly above BB 26, 25, 22, and 21 only and 23. So beat only by big brother 24 and big brother 27's final weeks, which were both shorter seasons as well.

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. I think, you know, the fatigue is in. We're kind of like, we're tired of talking about like what's going to happen with these scenarios. We just want to see it play out at this point. So yeah. Yeah. This final week of big brother 28 has not been getting good press. Let's just say that.

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_00] No, I feel like it's been talked to death about like who, who can, who did what, who wins over who, who takes who. Yeah. We just have to see it happen. Like you said, it's like, we just don't know.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. And the season average for the live feeds is 6.3, which again, pretty good. The, the all season average is a 5.8. So it's just above average. The episodes, it was a little higher above average or actually it's about the same. Uh, it's about a like five, a 0.54, uh, increase in, uh, an average score here.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_02] Um, and then yeah, about a 0.5 increase. So about a half a point higher than average, uh, overall, I think again, a 6.3 makes a good amount of sense. The feeds weren't always like the most interesting. Uh, but there were, I would say this season is, is a season of like high points and like mid points. It wasn't always consistently entertaining, but it always came back and had big moments.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, so I think that helped it a lot, but, uh, but kind of evened itself out over time, but still, Hey, uh, above average season. So there you go. Yeah. Then we have the season as a whole, the true rating for the season. The final season is a whole rating of the season. Uh, it has refrained from dipping below a five all season long. Um, but, uh, the all season average is a 6.2. So it's a, so it's a high bar to clear in the first place.

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_02] Um, by week, by the final week, there are seasons that still have high ratings. Big brother, 26, big brother, 24, 23 at a 6.7. Uh, 27 was at a 5.8. Other seasons drop lower. Last week we had a 6.7. The final week of the season gets a 7.0. It rises. Whoa. It jumped.

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00] Oh my gosh.

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_02] That is the second highest rated. Uh, actually it ties for the second highest rated season, uh, in its final week with big brother 24. Uh, but it is the second highest rated season in a week 12 that, uh, that exists. So there you go.

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00] I was not expecting that. That is very, that's very impressive.

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Um, the, the top five dominates, uh, big brother 23 dominates the top five of this chart, uh, with second, third, fourth, and fifth place. Weeks two, three, four, and five all being really highly rated as a season as a whole. Uh, people really loved that season in the first five weeks. Uh, but big brother 21's week one is the highest rated, uh, season as a whole rating in the history of asking this question.

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_02] So what this gives us is a season average of 6.5, uh, just above the all season average of 6.3. So of all the seasons we've rated, it's been, uh, the average has been 6.3. This one again, just above, uh, the average to be a 6.5, which I think is not a terrible rating for the day to day of the season.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_02] I think that if you were to give it one final overall rating, maybe the 7.0 is what people land at. And 6.5, although it's, it is just one hundredth of a point below a 6.5 actually. So it wouldn't quite round up to a seven. Um, but, uh, I, I think this, I think this does track.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Yeah. I think this has been a fun season. It's been a good season. Uh, like my mom thinks that this is like one of the best seasons. I don't think it's personally one of the best seasons, but I've had a lot of fun. And I feel like I like the fact that there, it, it wasn't just one Alliance dominating or even just like, like two sides, just one, then one, then one. I feel like it was kind of, uh, all over the place.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_00] And yes, we had the vets, but I, I think that there was enough in it that made me feel like things were happening and there was excitement to it. And it wasn't just a slow March to the end. And I, I do have to credit Barrett for some of that as well, because I feel like that was a big moment where I realized that like, okay, someone can do something here and not just, you know, have the vets March to the end. So, uh, it was, uh, I thought it was a fun season.

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_00] I don't think it was the best season, but I think it was a lot of fun.

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_02] Sorry. Go ahead there. Uh, it's it, those moments, by the way, uh, I think are, um, if you're a listener to the podcast, we have like the big chart, uh, in front of us, which means us on the video are a lot smaller, which makes it even harder to not accidentally step on one another. Our faces are tinier on the screen. Um, but, uh, what I was going to say is I think, and we talked about this a couple of weeks ago.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02] Um, I think this is my personal pet theory about how you feel about this season. Uh, if you are the kind of person that is like, I watch big brother to find my favorite person on the cast and root for that person. And like, I am a Stan. I am like, I ride hard for my people.

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_02] I think that this was probably not your favorite season, unless you are a hardcore fan of one of the final three. And you have been like the whole game and you've been like, you're like, Oh, we're almost there. Um, if you are a person that, uh, watches the show from a more sort of like, uh, laid back standpoint of like, I don't really care about individual players. I just want to see mess. I just want to see strategy.

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, I want to see good feeds. I think that this is probably a better season for you. I think that this, like you probably enjoyed this a lot more because despite the sort of like looming presence of the icons, it was interesting week to week, the way that they were up and down and the other players and how, uh, the outcomes were constantly in flux and changing and shifting.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_02] Um, so that I think, I think is why we get roughly this average, uh, of like, you know, the, the, the stands who are still in it with their person. They're still, they're still having a good time. Uh, the stands who lost their person and like dipped out, they don't like it anymore. Um, which is, you know, technically always the case, but it just hasn't been a great like stand season. Uh, cause there's no like one person that everyone's like gathering behind, which we

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_02] see week after week in these surveys. Uh, and then, yeah, again, if you, if you like, if you don't care as much, I think you like the season more. That is my, that is my personal theory.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. I mean, I think, yeah, I think a seven is a good above average score. Um, for BB 28, I think it, it has many of the trappings of like what we consider to be a good season while still acknowledging some of the big drawbacks, right? Like we get, we get some really good, like, um, we get people to root against, we get people to root for your either super for the, um, icons and you want to see them do well, in which case you're probably going to rate this season highly.

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_05] We also have the people that are like hungry for the icons downfall in which like, the longer they stay in there, the greater the payoff is when they finally go. So you get those people as well. I feel like you like the fact that there is so much intrigue in the end game as well, really lends to people being like, I'm still here. I'm still engaged. So it, it really helps people like rate it a little bit higher. But then again, some of the greatest things about the season are also like some of the worst things.

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_05] Like if you're not like a big fan of like having bets in the game, you're not going to love this season, especially if the vets are getting powers that are only helping them succeed even more. So that little asterisk is still going to always be there for people. Um, and I think, uh, but, but I think overall, I think it offers enough that it's not a middle of the road season. I think it's a season that most people at this point would probably say, yeah, you should

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_05] go back and watch that season. Now we still need to be able to stick the landing and what sticking the landing means to you is probably going to vary from a lot of different people. Some people are like hardcore, give it to Devin's. This is his big redemption season. Maybe survivor wasn't his game and big brother is. And that might, you know, that might really be like in the CBS tapestry of, of shows. This will land it. If Devin's wins, this will land it as like a like quintessential season, the season that

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_05] a survivor player, one big brother. And so this will, this will like hallmark this season, but also on the other end, if a newbie does beat Devin's or if they just beat him out and newbies win the season, I think all of the big, big brother purists will be like, yeah, we're keeping the big brother jewels in the family. You know what I mean? So I think no matter what, I think the winning is the ending is still going to be something

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_05] that's going to be endlessly debated, which I think will automatically boost its rating because you can just talk about it forever. So yeah, I think seven is, I think seven is a very appropriate rating for this season.

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_02] Well, there's another.

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_05] Oh God.

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_00] I was just gonna say, I also like think that this season every on a week to week basis, this season was exciting as well, because every week, even though we had like the vet alliance dominating for part of the season or even most of the season, they always did something weird and stupid at the end. Like they always were like, let's flip the vote or like, let's go against our alliance and do this. Let's not tell people this. And it was like, it made it so much more exciting than just like, no, we're sticking to it.

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_00] We're going to like follow the vote and do exactly what we said we were going to do. They always were just doing the most. And so it made for very exciting evictions because you never knew what was going to happen and you didn't know who was going to get shocked by it or blindsided. And so even for like, I don't appreciate a season where one alliance dominates, obviously, but for a season where we had just like one strong alliance that was dominating a lot of it,

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_00] there was a lot of fun to be had with the messiness of that alliance.

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. And so there's another fact I want to talk about, I think that is relevant to the season as we get to HOA trains, because if you look at this board of HOA trains, the highest number of HOA wins that the season has is two. And one of them was a gimme. And one of them was a gimme. Only three people have won two HOAs, D, Devins, and Yash.

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_02] Everyone else only had one HOH. We had such a variety of HOH winners, even down to the final four when Taylor wins her first HOH. Now, technically, the final three winner will be or actually no, because if Taylor wins, it will be a second HOH win for Taylor as well. So if Devins wins, it will be his third technical HOH win, which is like very, very low. Actually, I should have thought of this.

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_02] I should have tried to look up the stats. Three HOH wins being the maximum HOH wins for any one player on a season. Or let's again, let's say Taylor wins it and it's two. That might be like a record. Like that might be a record from like way back. Like that is incredibly low. In modern seasons, we very often get people who have won four, five HOHs at times. Chelsea won how many?

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_02] Like one, two, three, four. I think she was about to win five. So three, I guess, would be like a decent number if Devins pulls out the final three HOH. But two is a very low number. So very interesting stuff. And I think it's a huge part of what has made the season more interesting for me is just the variety of people in power, I think makes the game so much more interesting.

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_02] But how did the audience rate Taylor's HOH? Because she is the most recent HOH. How did they rate Taylor's final four HOH? They gave it a 6.1. Look at that. I was very curious to know how many or what score Taylor would get as the final four HOH. Because the final four HOH is very, you know, it's safety more than anything else. She ultimately didn't get to choose who was evicted.

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_02] Theoretically, you know, she didn't get out her target. But winning the final four HOH and forcing out one of the survivor players and making it to the final three are all huge things. So I was curious to see what it would be rated. And apparently it's a 6.1.

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah. Makes sense. Yeah.

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. It makes sense. Because, you know, like you said, like there's only so much power that you really do have with this type of HOH. So if you're able to progress and you're able to get out a good target, I mean, what else can you really ask for? I think the only thing that would have been able to improve her score is if there was a bit more politicking on her behalf. We didn't get too much of that. So, yeah, it is what it is.

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Then we can, of course, also look at last week's, which would have been in hindsight, Devins' final five HOH, which received a 5.9, which if you look at what it was rated, was a 5.7 before. So it's slightly higher in retrospect, but mostly the same.

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, that makes sense.

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. Then we're going to rate production. How do we feel about production? I think maybe it's going to be lower considering people are down on this decision to extend the final three. No, stays exactly the same at a 4.6. Oh, wow. Look at that.

[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_01] Okay.

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_02] Season average of 4.72. We still have no real comparisons on these numbers. So this is more for future analysis. Okay.

[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_05] I was going to say, I would not be surprised if we have more data than that. The average would be way lower.

[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_02] Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That might turn out to be a pretty good rating. Yeah. Yeah. I think so. Who are you voting for America's favorite player? Last week, Drew was in the lead. In fact, I think if I... Not quite there, but this is week 11's results. Drew was in the lead with 20% over Yash's 17%. Devins is 16%.

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_02] Top three of Drew, Yash, and Devins. And then if we head into... If we head into this week...

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_00] I wonder if Dee will be higher now that she's gone.

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_02] Drew is higher. No. At 32%, followed by Devins at 17%. Yash at 12%. So Yash has fallen. Devins came up into second place. But Drew now has a bigger lead than he did before. He only had a 3% lead before. He is now at a 15% lead over Devins. What a surge.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_00] I feel like that's not normal to have people in the finals competing for America's favorite player. I mean, yes, Taylor or whatever, or other Taylor won. It's not normal to have everyone. But I feel like it's not normal to be like, oh, neck and neck. Drew and Devins, they could also win still.

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, I...

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_00] It's normally people who have already left. We don't normally have people's favorite players in the finale. It's normally like, you know, maybe one player people like, and then other people. It just seems unusual.

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. I'm kind of like, I'm interested in the Yash vote and why. Because obviously... He just hasn't been on his screens. Right. Which I understand. But even so, you still get players that are like the main opposition to the power structure. Right? Like they always get a lot of the sympathy vote. And so I'm wondering just like why it was such a sharp decline, even with him not being...

[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_02] I would personally imagine that Drew took a lot of Yash votes. Specifically. Specifically. I think that the same people that vote for Drew were also probably like people that might have also voted for Yash. But they're consolidating into Drew. I don't think...

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_05] Are they voting? Do you think they're voting for Drew because of the fact that he did not win the last HOH? And so they're preemptively being like, oh, he might have like lost his chance at winning Big Brother entirely. So let's just give him...

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_02] I don't think it's that specific. I think that Drew's just gaining momentum as a... I mean, he also went from fourth to first in the popularity poll. I think that he's just... I think that... I mean, I mentioned this on one of the recaps recently that like, you know, that moment where he's calling Melody's name as she walks out the door. Like the shippers are loving it.

[00:55:56] [SPEAKER_05] That was a great moment. That was a great moment. You know?

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_02] It's like... I think that there's a lot of momentum here. Now, I say a lot of momentum. It's still not that big a lead compared to like where we... Like normally the online fan base really galvanizes behind one player. This is still not even that. It's not even... It's not even fully one third. It's 32% is the leader. Normally, I think we'd see, you know, a much higher percentage for the leader. 15 whole points is still quite a sizable chunk though, you know?

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_02] I think I'm just saying comparatively, I think that this is still quite spread out. Like normally you'd see one person running away with it. Yeah. Maybe one or two people running away with it. But like the spread is quite wide. Yeah.

[00:56:44] [SPEAKER_00] I think it actually makes a lot of sense to me. The fact that there are so many people on this list. I feel like normally it's kind of like, okay, these are the people who are going to win it. And I feel like everybody kind of has a shot. And that makes sense to me because I think this season had a lot of people that I was rooting for, or at least didn't want to leave. Like I feel like the majority of the season, at least like the second half of the season, it was like, ah, I don't want any of these people to go.

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_00] I could find myself rooting for or being excited for all these people to stay. And I don't feel like that happens all the time in Big Brothers. So I do feel like that's something that would be why, you know, the fan base is so spread out this year instead of everyone kind of, we all know who the winner is going to be, or at least who the top three will be.

[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_02] So just for comparison, last season, the question, who are you voting for to be America's favorite player? 87% were in on Rachel. Like that is...

[00:57:52] [SPEAKER_01] Oh, wow.

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_02] That was probably a bit abnormal in terms of how much there was consensus on one person. Yeah. But that is, I think, a lot closer to general consensus. I mean, even going into season 26, Angela was in the lead for favorite player at 38% over Tucker's 21%. So it was really like the two of them neck and neck. But that one was also a bit more spread out.

[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_02] So, um, and then I think if we go into like season 25, if I can find it, uh, that one, I think was a two-way race between Sari and Corey, I would imagine from this audience. Uh, yeah. Or actually, no, sorry. It was Sari in America. I should have known. Um, Sari had 42%. America had 37, 32%. So like combined, Sari and America made up almost 75% of the vote.

[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, the season before that, uh, Angela and Tucker made up, uh, nearly 60% of the vote. Rachel before that made up 87% of the vote. Uh, this season, uh, Drew and Devin's combined don't even crack 50%.

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_00] Wow. Yeah. Yeah. I also feel like, um, I saw on Reddit the other day, it was a, not on the big brother subreddit. It was on some like pop culture subreddit or something that was like, what is your favorite depiction of a crush on TV? And then the like examples that they gave in the question was like Jim and Pam and like random, like people from TV shows.

[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_00] And then one of the examples was Drew and Melody, like in their list of best crushes on TV shows was Drew and Melody. And I was like, wait, what? And people in the comments were like, oh my God, I can't believe Drew and Melody. Yeah. Like amazing. And then people were posting that video of Drew calling out to her as she was leaving and like put to like music or whatever. I don't know.

[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_05] It's, you know what? They might've been, they might've been onto something about the, uh, refusing to go full PDA. Cause all of the will they want there is really driving people crazy.

[01:00:14] [SPEAKER_02] Y'all are some, nobody cared about Roman lyric cause they were making out the second the feeds turned on.

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. And saying that they were going to be, you know, getting married. Like people don't want that right away. Cause it just feels fake. And they want this like, oh, we don't know. Like we're watching something. What's going on. It's the, it's the, it's the Zanke thing. It's the AmeriCorps thing. Like people like that.

[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_05] And then the Melody, and the Melody just dashes all of y'all hopes and be like, yeah, I don't think, I don't think this is going to work out.

[01:00:42] [SPEAKER_00] Well, we can, well, forget that. We don't need to worry about that. We, we're only interested in the maybe.

[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_02] The wishes and consent of the people being shipped. There've never been a problem. Come on.

[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. We don't. Yeah. It doesn't matter to us.

[01:00:56] [SPEAKER_02] Um, all right. Did Drew make the right choice in cutting D over Devins? I'm going to tell you, I messed up this question. I accidentally made it a rating scale instead of a yes or no.

[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_05] Oh, interesting. That'll be an interesting result. So, but you know, I think that's very appropriate though, Taryn, because I really feel like, you know, it is more of a scale because it's not, it's, I don't think it is that binary. It's not that black and white. There's cause there's so many scenarios in which he's still able to win. So, you know, it is what it is.

[01:01:26] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. So theoretically, a, a, roughly a five or maybe even like a 5.5 would be around like the middle point, uh, of, uh, of this rating. Um, in terms of like, oh, we can't tell. Um, but it's also like with the rating scale, I, I don't think it goes that hard either. Uh, but the result is 5.2. So make sense.

[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_00] That's relatively undecided. It's just a number. Yeah. It's not a yes or no. It's just 5.2.

[01:02:01] [SPEAKER_05] It leans ever so slightly to yes. He made the right choice.

[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_00] Um, and also like people might've misunderstood what this meant. Is 10 the right choice? Yeah. What's the rating scale?

[01:02:13] [SPEAKER_02] This one's on me. I messed this one up. Uh, so it's going to be harder to read into this one.

[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_00] 5.2. Yeah.

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_05] I guess there's a, yeah, I guess there's a chance that somebody was like, no, it was a 10 out of 10 bad decision.

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Like is it a 10 or is it, is it like which one is right and which one is wrong?

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_02] I tried to, it doesn't actually let you change the, I could have like, like deleted the question and made a new one, but then anyone who answered already would like have like their thing wouldn't have counted. And then I was like, well, maybe a number counts. But then as I like thought about it more, I was like, no, this is stupid. But then it was way too late to change.

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_00] We're like right in the middle. It's so funny. Yeah.

[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Who do you want to win the game? Who do you want to see win the game? Do either of you have opinions on this?

[01:03:06] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, I, I would love to see Taylor win. Cause I think that it would just be so funny. I think she has had such an irreverent ass attitude about her placement in this game. I like the fact that she would be a very controversial winner. So I think like for the culture of the show, I think it would be, I think it would be very, very fun to watch her win.

[01:03:31] [SPEAKER_05] Um, so I, I'm, I'm, and I think it just, I think again, it sort of is like one of those things where I think it forces people to actually look at the game that she's played and be like, is, you know, maybe I don't necessarily appreciate how she's played so far, but does that really matter? If the jury is like, you know what, we'll give it to her. And there's a, there's a world in which that can happen.

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_05] I think a lot of it does come down to how these final two speeches pan out. I think that, you know, a lot of the time, final two speeches don't really matter that much, but I think in this scenario, I think it really, really could. So if she's able to really sell herself and she takes it, then so be it. It doesn't really matter what any of us think really only matters what the jury thinks.

[01:04:19] [SPEAKER_05] So I think that I am most excited about Taylor, a Taylor win, but if not Taylor than drew, because I think that, well, first of all, he, I drafted him. So that would be fun. But second of all, second of all, I, you know, I, I do think that there is some merit to his gameplay, especially with the way that he's like handled the end game. I think, you know, I'm here for it.

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_05] And thirdly, because of the fact that yes, I am a bit of a hater and I don't want to survive a winning big brother. I just don't. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm, I can call me a hater.

[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_02] I hear this a lot, especially from big brother players. What, like, what is the, because I think it would be very fun for a survivor to win big brother. I do not. No, I do not. Is it what it's like, is because there's like a little rivalry or like, I don't want survivors. There's a nice little friendly rivalry. There's been like Jeff Probst saying in an interview that the, yeah, of course the survivors are doing better. We cast. Yeah.

[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_05] Like Jeff, get out of here. Jeff, get out of here. And to that you respond with the newly minted Julie Chen gif or video of this ain't survive it. This is his big brother. Cause this, yes, this is big brother. Okay. Like we're not, you can have your little tour. You can come in and say hello. Bye bye. Bye. Okay. Like, no, I want to keep it in the family. I'm so sorry. I am so sorry. I really am. But like, no. So that.

[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_00] Someone in the comments just said, we need to send Jag to Survivor and see how they like it.

[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_05] Honestly. Yeah. Y'all want to, y'all want to start this?

[01:05:56] [SPEAKER_00] Oh yeah, you do great. Right. Yeah. Well, we should send over, you know.

[01:05:59] [SPEAKER_05] And we were so much more welcoming, right? Because. Oh, actually, nevermind. I was about to make a dumb point. I was about to say, haven't we had more. We had more Survivor players over here.

[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_02] Well, no. I guess. Haven't we? I would say we have. I think we have. They have had two Big Brother players. And we've had three. Yeah.

[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_00] And we've now had three. But one of them played twice. That doesn't count. Does it matter? It's a people. It's a number of people. Yeah. But no. Okay. So I see what you're saying.

[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_05] And we have to play at the same time together. So they had like a nice thing going on. You know what I mean? Hayden and Kayla didn't play together.

[01:06:36] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. See, I don't like. I don't love the idea of like multiple people from a show coming on to play together because then I feel like that's a built-in relationship. That's a built-in alliance. But. Okay. So I think if Devin's loses, I think that we have like bragging rights to be like, see, like you can't just just because you're like on Survivor doesn't mean you can like come in here and play Big Brother because Big Brother is a harder game. Like the Survivors couldn't win. Blah, blah, blah.

[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_00] I do think there's that argument, which I do think is nice. But I do think that Survivor has better casting than Big Brother. So if we get more Survivor people over here, I think that that would be great for Big Brother because we'd finally get some like real good strategic people over here and not just like Instagram people. So if we can get people who are like actual like professional people or like serious people

[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_00] in their real life who aren't just trying to get famous, like that would be good for Big Brother, you know? So I would be down to have people say, hey, you know, Devin's was didn't like couldn't make it on Survivor, but he did make it on Big Brother. I like couldn't win on Survivor. So now I'm going to go and try and win on Big Brother. Like that would be great. So I don't know.

[01:07:50] [SPEAKER_05] Look, I don't want anybody to think like because I talked about this a little bit in the diary room. I'm not against stunt casting. I'm not against crossovers. Like ultimately, yes, I get the appeal. I find it can be very, very fun. Yes, yes, yes. I take all of those points. And if Devin ends up winning Big Brother, I will be happy for him because it is. It's a wonderful journey, right? To see him go on Survivor twice, not really make it.

[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_05] But you're rooting for him all the way. And then he tries his hand at Big Brother and he ends up being the most successful he's ever been. I think that's a fantastic story to tell. And I think it'll be like, we'll be talking about Devin's game for the rest of time. That's fun. But in the same respect, like I. If there's going to be a Survivor that comes and wins Big Brother, I would like for. I would like to be a little bit more excited about the game that he played.

[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_05] I kind of want to be blown away. I don't want to just be like, it was a good game. I want to be like, oh, no, girl, he ate that shit up. He ate down, left no crumbs. Like I don't necessarily feel that way about Devin's game right now. So.

[01:09:03] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, I've been I've been critical of Devin's game in the sense that, like, he's had to rely on a couple of powers, a few competition wins. And obviously, generally, when somebody has to rely on those things, you know, I like I'm not like over the moon with their games versus somebody who's able to do things outside of that.

[01:09:26] [SPEAKER_02] And then, yeah, the biggest the biggest because like that's something I can I can like, you know, the winning competitions at the end of the day. You got to accept it for the most part. Yeah. But yeah, powers is like and then volunteering for the block and having to win a competition to save your life out. Like that really got me right. Right. But what I will say about Devin's, the thing I really like about Devin's game is that he played balls to the wall the whole time.

[01:09:52] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah.

[01:09:52] [SPEAKER_02] Like he did go for and he talked about this last night in last episode. He at every choice he had to make the bigger play or the safer play. He always made the bigger play. And I loved that about his game. And that's part of why I've loved watching Survivor players on Big Brother, because they all all three of them have done that. Yeah. They play so hard and fast, whether it's smart or not. And I like being able to watch that. Do I wish they didn't have extra powers?

[01:10:22] [SPEAKER_02] Absolutely. But but I'm generally in favor of like if we want to bring more competitive, whether they're Survivor players or we just adjust our casting to be more competitive or whatever. I'm I'm personally into it. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:10:37] [SPEAKER_00] And I I completely agree with that. And I I think like in answer to your original question, I think I am rooting for Devin's to win because I do think that if Devin's wins, I think there is a conversation to be had of like where he ranks on like the top Big Brother players list. Obviously, I don't think he's like the best Big Brother player ever, but I do think that he is really good. And I think, yes, he's made some mistakes. Yes, he was in danger periodically.

[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_00] Yes, he had these these advantages or whatever. But I think that like the way that he played, there were so many great moves that he made, so many impressive things that he was able to do. The way he was able to convince people of things, the way that he, you know, was able to get people on his side when they were not on his side. And I just feel like that's a conversation to have. Now, I think that both Taylor and Drew would be very impressive wins, very interesting wins. I think there's a lot to talk about there.

[01:11:36] [SPEAKER_00] I think that like seeing someone like Taylor come in and win this thing would be like, wow, you really can't count anyone out because I had counted Taylor out in the beginning. And then if she comes through and wins this thing, it's like, OK, you really have to assume that like anybody can win this, even if they don't have a foothold in the game because no one will let them in. They can like scrap their way to the end. And I feel like that's really fun with Drew.

[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_00] I feel like it's like he was always teetering on the edge of like just being totally gone. Like he never really he was always in danger. And I feel like that's a very exciting position to watch, an exciting position to play from. And so like he was always having to make decisions and win competitions and do things. He was not ever in a position of like comfort, I feel, because even when he felt comfortable, he shouldn't have felt comfortable.

[01:12:28] [SPEAKER_00] He was wrong. So I do feel like that's pretty exciting to see that sort of game win. But I don't think either of them are in contention for us to be having conversations of like, are they in in the top tier of Big Brother players? I just don't. I think that they're they played fun, interesting games. But I don't think we would talk about them as being a top tier player, whereas I do think there is a conversation to be had about maybe Devin's being a top tier player or winner or whatever we want to call it.

[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_00] And so to me, that's more exciting. I want people to learn from Devin's game about what Taryn said about just like playing balls to the wall and just like making big moves, just making splashy moves, making it exciting for us. Never playing safe. That sort of thing is fun to watch. And I really do hope that that sort of thing gets rewarded in the end.

[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Well, let's see what the audience says. Audience, who do you want to win the game? Is it Drew? Wow. Yeah. It is. It is Drew at 36 percent. Devin's at 34 percent. And Taylor at 30 percent. Separation of only six percent.

[01:13:47] [SPEAKER_01] It's really close. Yeah.

[01:13:49] [SPEAKER_02] It's incredibly split here. I mean, again, this is just such so emblematic of where the fan base is at the moment.

[01:13:58] [SPEAKER_05] The tribalism is real, y'all.

[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, this is the favorite rankings in basically the point separation that they had. This is a more clear example of of the favorite rankings right now. Yeah.

[01:14:11] Yeah.

[01:14:12] [SPEAKER_02] This is.

[01:14:13] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, I mean, like, look, there there are arguments for all three. And that's that's that's the best type of ending here is like the you might not like. All of their stories, but enough people do. So it's. And I have to imagine if we feel this way collectively that the jury is tussling with their own feelings. So, oh, man, I cannot wait. I cannot wait for Thursday. I really can't.

[01:14:43] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Then inevitably, the question is, who do you think will win the game? Make your official predictions here.

[01:14:56] [SPEAKER_00] Wait a second, Taryn. We didn't hear who you wanted to win.

[01:15:00] [SPEAKER_02] Of the three?

[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, the three.

[01:15:04] [SPEAKER_02] I don't care. No, I.

[01:15:10] [SPEAKER_00] He just doesn't want to say.

[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, I don't want to say. I know. I was thinking about this. Like. I really I think if I were a juror. I would genuinely feel very drawn to like, what are they going to say in their speech? Like, I really don't feel like there is a solid pick here for a winner. And I mean that even Drew versus Devin's like.

[01:15:40] [SPEAKER_02] Even with Devin's winning and taking Drew. Drew, I would genuinely consider voting Drew over Devin's depending on the speeches, because I do think that Devin's had a lot of aid with his with his powers. His powers. And again, like volunteering for the block and then having to win. Drew also had to win, but he didn't have the benefit of the powers. And so I, I would.

[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_02] But but then I'm like, well, Devin's got Drew to take him to final four when he or sorry, to final three when he shouldn't have, which. I wasn't particularly fond of. And and then if Devin's if Drew is not able to take Devin's out, then he never can prove that that he was willing to take him out.

[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_02] I talked about this on a stream the other day that like I think because Drew didn't cut Devin's at final four. I don't know that I would ever believe that he'd be willing to cut Devin's to bring him to final two, even if he said so in his speech. So I think that would have cost him my vote. People like I thought speeches didn't matter to me. They generally don't matter. They rarely matter. For me, I would have.

[01:17:02] [SPEAKER_02] And again, I'm talking about somebody I wasn't I'm not playing the game. So I don't know how I would feel emotionally if I were.

[01:17:09] [SPEAKER_00] I think people in the jury have said that the speech never that they already had their decision made up. I always think like I would be impacted by the speeches. But I know that they've are like people in the past have said.

[01:17:20] [SPEAKER_05] But also but I think like the counter to that now is that people in the jury are currently saying I really want to hear what they have to say. So I think it really can.

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_00] It just it can depend on the jury, especially in this situation where I think that these people are so close. I think that like it would it might actually matter what they say, because if, for example, Drew can come up with this amazing speech where he explains why he did this, that and the other thing or whatever. I could see the jury being like, OK, yeah, there he is. Was he I thought he knew and he just proved that he knew why he made those moves or same with Taylor or same with Devin's whatever.

[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_00] And to be honest, I'm a little worried about Devin's when it comes to the speeches, because all his speeches throughout the season were like not that good. And so I don't know if he could like truly try and like make jokes or something and not actually give like a full meaningful speech.

[01:18:14] [SPEAKER_02] So that's the thing, too, is that like, you know, I feel like. Like when Taylor says lyric is my crowning achievement, the lyric vote is my crowning achievement, like there's no way I would have voted for her if she says that. But then when Devin's is like, what do you mean? First H.O.H. wasn't an advantage. I'm like, well, I wouldn't have voted for Devin's if he says that. And it's like I genuinely feel like I'm just like I keep circling around of like who who would I vote for here?

[01:18:42] [SPEAKER_02] Like, who would I want to win this? I think that like overall, I tend to like if I mean, the other thing is that like if Taylor if Taylor wins the final three H.O.H. and cuts Devin's and brings Drew, then I could definitely see myself voting for Taylor. I I generally favor the people who had to win fewer competitions to to make it to the end.

[01:19:12] [SPEAKER_02] I drew had to win multiple competitions or he would have been out. Taylor has to win, maybe has to win final four H.O.H. to not be taken out. It's not a guarantee. And then has to win final three H.O.H. in order to survive. So like it's like that's that's not like 100 percent there.

[01:19:30] [SPEAKER_05] So, yeah, I think I think the other thing about Taylor winning for like winning would be I think ultimately is a net positive for the show. I think it's healthy for the show if someone who legitimately played a bit of a sleeper game literally, literally stayed in their bed for most of the season and then ends up pulling a win out in the end. I think that that you know what?

[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_02] I I think I think that ultimately that would be my I think I think if I had to choose, I think I would choose Taylor just because it would piss a lot of people off. And I would enjoy that. Yes.

[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_05] And I think that that will cause a big pendulum shift, like in terms of like the next season. It's like, oh, we got to watch those ones that aren't doing much like it. Then it turns like everyone gets you're totally right.

[01:20:17] [SPEAKER_02] You tapped into the true darkness of my heart.

[01:20:24] [SPEAKER_05] So let's bring it home, girl.

[01:20:29] [SPEAKER_02] Oh, boy. All right. Well, who do who do you guys think will win the game? What is the prediction?

[01:20:40] [SPEAKER_00] Probably Devon's unless people are voting for who they want to win still.

[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, like, well, given what we know about like this studying fiasco with these three. It's giving that Taylor probably has a better shot right now at winning the final H.O.H., which means she might cut Devon's. And in that scenario, for the past couple of days, I have been really sipping the Taylor Kool-Aid and be like, listen, I think she's going to she has to get Yash. If Yash doesn't vote for Taylor, then like what the hell's wrong with you?

[01:21:13] [SPEAKER_05] I think that he that she can probably I mean, she's always going to get Lala's vote. I think that Angela will vote for Taylor because I think Angela's been dropping these little seeds of like, oh, watch that Taylor. She's got that winter energy. And I think if she sees Taylor sitting there in the final two chairs of finale night, I think it will like she'll be fulfilling her own prophecy and be like, oh, you proved me right. I got to give you my vote. And I think I can see that.

[01:21:41] [SPEAKER_05] I think that Barrett, depending on the speeches, could vote for Taylor. So that's kind of like what I've been thinking. But I don't know if I'm as confident in the Barrett vote anymore. So I'm I think my final answer is Drew, because I think it was going to be so much more interesting if you said Taylor, because I was going to say Drew. See, that's OK. Well, I'll say Taylor because that's what I've been saying.

[01:22:08] [SPEAKER_00] You say Taylor, Taryn says Drew, and I'll say Devon's.

[01:22:10] [SPEAKER_02] I think Devon's is lack of studying is. Listen, I think the final three part three can go anyway. It doesn't matter who studies. It doesn't matter any of it. But I do think that if there's any amount of anything to read into the fact that Devon's is not studying and Taylor is tells me that Taylor might have an edge in that comp. Taylor wins, takes Devon's. I think Drew still probably keeps icons plus melody. I think Drew then probably goes on to win the game. But.

[01:22:41] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, I'm I'm aiming for some like this is not the easy option. Devon's is the easy option, because if Devon's wins. The part three wins the game. I'm relying on one outcome and then a second outcome. So I'm not I'm I'm knowingly not choosing the most likely outcome. So I just think it's I think that I can see the path through these like tunnels, I think.

[01:23:12] [SPEAKER_02] We'll see. Yeah. What is the audience thing? Oh, my God. This is so juicy. Yeah. Oh, OK. I'm surprised by that, actually. I mean, this makes sense, right? Devon's has a roughly 50 percent chance to win part three. If he does, he wins the game. People are saying Devon's is studying now. Is that like in the last couple of hours thing?

[01:23:35] [SPEAKER_05] Like while we were on the podcast studying correctly or just still studying because he was already kind of studying.

[01:23:43] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, this morning he started asking Drew about the time machine table dates. But then they again talked about like, what is this even important? Probably not.

[01:23:56] Yeah.

[01:23:57] [SPEAKER_02] It's not studying, just voicing what he knows. Listen, I'll have to I'll have to do some research and let you guys know tomorrow morning. But it's so funny that this is like the genuinely the major thing I've been paying attention to on the feeds is whether or not somebody is studying. This is he left the DR and started studying correctly. Oh, well, we'll we'll see about that. Drew at 29 percent. Taylor at 16 percent. I think these are like decent odds.

[01:24:26] [SPEAKER_02] I think Taylor is still in it with a shot, but it requires her winning. And then also her managing to pick up either Melody or Angela. Drew requires Taylor winning, but then he just needs to hold on to Melody and Angela. And then Devin's just wins if he wins the part three. So.

[01:24:47] [SPEAKER_00] Wait, so what's the what is the final H.O.H. competition? What should they be studying? Should they just be studying days or should they be studying? Well, I don't remember what it is.

[01:24:55] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, the thing is, if you know days, then, you know, events. And if you know events, you know stats. And if you know stats, you do well in the competition. It just might take you a while to get there. Ideally, you just study stats because it's mostly stats. It's like, you know, my.

[01:25:07] [SPEAKER_00] Supposedly, that's what he's studying now is stats. But.

[01:25:11] [SPEAKER_02] I don't know. I genuinely don't trust.

[01:25:15] [SPEAKER_00] You don't trust the chat.

[01:25:17] [SPEAKER_02] No, I trust the chat. We're hearing conflicting things in the chat.

[01:25:20] [SPEAKER_05] It's like, what's. Well, I trust the chat.

[01:25:22] [SPEAKER_02] So I hope the chat. Genuinely, there's no shade. No shade to chat. But I will ask the chat a question.

[01:25:27] [SPEAKER_00] I'm not giving any shade because I like the chat. And I'm actually a fan of the chat.

[01:25:31] [SPEAKER_02] I will ask the chat a question. It will be a yes or no question. And the first two answers will be yes and no. Every time without fail. So. Anyway. That's that's what the audience thinks. Steven's most likely to win. It is, I think, technically true. Yeah. He has roughly a 50 percent chance of winning that competition. If he does, he is likely to go on to win the game.

[01:25:59] [SPEAKER_02] OK, finally, some jury vote predictions. Let's get into this. Let's see. Here we go. The fun little graphic here in the Taylor versus Drew scenario. This is the most interesting one we can. Actually, maybe we should save this one for last. Maybe we should. No, let's do it first. Let's do it first. Taylor versus Drew. Taylor wins the final three HOH. She takes Drew. Who do we think Lala votes for in that situation? Taylor, baby.

[01:26:30] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor.

[01:26:30] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, Taylor.

[01:26:31] [SPEAKER_02] One hundred percent of people. That's actually wild. One hundred percent of people think Lala is a vote for Taylor. Because Drew is a mother. Angela's vote. Who do we think Angela votes for between Taylor and Drew? I think she votes for Taylor, but I don't know if everyone else thinks that.

[01:26:51] [SPEAKER_00] Hmm. Hmm. I think maybe Drew because, you know, he was I know she was all like anti Drew in the house, but he was loyal to the icons the whole time. And so maybe she would feel good about that. Although at the same time, like Amon said, or I think it was Amon. I don't remember now. But she was predicting that Taylor has winter energy or whatever.

[01:27:15] [SPEAKER_00] And it might make her feel good if that actually becomes true, because then she can take credit and say, I told everyone and look, everyone needs to listen to me. So I could see it. I could see it going either way.

[01:27:28] [SPEAKER_02] Mm hmm. I do think this will end up being Drew. What does the audience say? Seventy four percent.

[01:27:37] [SPEAKER_01] This is a cool chart thing. It's cool.

[01:27:41] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. Barrett.

[01:27:45] [SPEAKER_05] Taylor versus Drew. Again, I know the audience is going to say true because they played the most similar games. They played together most of the time. But I want to believe that he could scratch out a Taylor vote based off of these speeches. So that's where I'm going. But I know that I'm wrong in terms of what they think.

[01:28:07] [SPEAKER_00] Oh, this is so difficult because I could see it going either way, because with Drew, it could be like, hey, you know, we work together for a lot of the thing or for a lot of the game. And I just decided to go in a different way. But he went this way. I could see a situation where he's like, I don't want to vote for him because then it kind of shows that I made the wrong choice if he wins.

[01:28:34] [SPEAKER_00] But maybe because he has had like a closer relationship with Drew for the majority of the game, maybe it like gives him more credit because he was working with him. Like, I don't know. It's like.

[01:28:45] [SPEAKER_05] I feel like the real like. Yeah. Because yeah. Thank you for saying because I feel like. I feel like if there is like a lot of negative press surrounding Drew's game, I think I could see Barrett like not wanting to be associated with that because the calls would be coming from inside the house at that point. Like, girl, you did the same thing. And so to distance himself, he could be like, yeah, let me go ahead and vote for Taylor because

[01:29:08] [SPEAKER_02] me and Drew. I mean, my thing is that like not only did Barrett talk about potentially not voting for Drew and when he was in the house, but like Barrett's whole thing was I had to make the move I made against the vets because I wouldn't respect it because I would not respect my own game if I never made it. Totally. Drew has never made it. Right. Yeah. Taylor will be the one to have completed what Barrett tried to do.

[01:29:35] [SPEAKER_00] Taylor was against the vets from the beginning. She was never working with them. So I could see him being like, I want to reward the person who was against the big alliance. So, yeah, I think Barrett will vote for Taylor. I think he will.

[01:29:50] [SPEAKER_02] That's where I'm leaning.

[01:29:51] [SPEAKER_00] Although I feel like if he doesn't vote for Drew, it's like that's like friendship over. Like it's like that's making very clear that like they're not going to be like boys outside the house, which is fine, I guess. But like. Ah, I think he'd probably vote for Taylor because like you said, he wouldn't respect the game. Like he can probably be like, look, Drew and I will be friends, but I just can't. You know.

[01:30:12] [SPEAKER_02] Audience says. Oh, okay. 51 percent. Damn. Drew, it is dead in the middle. The audience is completely undecided here.

[01:30:29] [SPEAKER_00] That's a hard one. That's a hard one. But I do think he ends up with Taylor because I think that like if he then rewards Drew for it, then what was he talking about with like, oh, I needed to make this move or else I wouldn't respect my own game. Like, you know, like I need to. If I just went with the vets the whole time, like I wouldn't be able to be proud of the game I was playing.

[01:30:51] [SPEAKER_04] And if the vets vote for Drew and you vote for Drew with the vets, did you ever really separate from the vets?

[01:30:58] [SPEAKER_01] Like you're right back there with them.

[01:31:02] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Yash then. Surely Yash is a Taylor vote. If she's the one to take out Davids. Come on. Like if Yash doesn't vote for Taylor, I will personally come find him. Like, what are we doing here? Come on. Audience says 65 percent. Not that confident. That's honey. Listen, no, no, no. But they are. They did choose Taylor. They're just not super confident about it.

[01:31:31] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, I get it because, you know, there's like a little bit of like maybe maybe Yash wants to, you know, game respects game. And Drew played him and he doesn't want to seem bitter. But no, vote for your friend. Vote for your friend.

[01:31:46] [SPEAKER_01] Come on. Yeah.

[01:31:47] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. Melody. Melody is Melody. This is the one. And this is the one that like all the shippers are probably very upset that I'm even considering this possibility. But like, I do feel like Melody in the house talked so many times about not wanting to vote for Drew to win with Barrett. And I feel like if Barrett is anti-Drew, I do think Melody could be pulled in that direction.

[01:32:14] [SPEAKER_02] It's just hard to imagine her actively not voting for him. But I could see there being a big goal.

[01:32:21] [SPEAKER_00] She votes for him because she is connected to him and she'll want to be connected to the winner. Like, he really likes her. He will like be the winner of the game. He will have the money. He will like, I feel like she'll want to be connected to that. Like, not in a bad way. I'm just saying like, that makes sense. Like, you want to be like, I was working with the winner the whole time. Like, because she was.

[01:32:43] [SPEAKER_02] Listen, I ultimately, I do think she will vote for Drew. And I think it's largely because they have a good relationship. But it would not surprise me if there was a lot of pull on Melody to change her mind. If like, if there was a contingent of Yash and Lala and Barrett that were like, Melody, come on, you know, Drew didn't play as well. He never made the move to cut Devins. Well, I guess they won't know is the problem.

[01:33:09] [SPEAKER_00] I just don't. I don't think she'll care. I don't think she'll be like.

[01:33:12] [SPEAKER_02] He never will make the move to cut Devins. And she'll be like, yes, he will. Yes, he will. But then he won't have been able to. But even if.

[01:33:19] [SPEAKER_00] But even so, I think it's like.

[01:33:20] [SPEAKER_02] Even if he doesn't. Yeah.

[01:33:21] [SPEAKER_00] They were together the whole time. And so, like, if I'm Melody, it will feel like my game was justified because I worked with the winner the whole time. It's like, yes, I didn't win, but I was part of it. I got him to that win because I was working with him. And so I technically kind of won, too.

[01:33:36] [SPEAKER_05] Again, you vote for your guy. You vote for your boo thing. It's like it's like, you know, Liz and freaking Julia. When Julia was like, there's nothing that Liz could ever do in this game that would cause me not to vote for her. Like, she's my twin sister. I'm voting for her. Like, y'all were playing footsies in the pool. Y'all were playing will they, won't they all damn season long. You vote for him.

[01:33:57] [SPEAKER_00] And he'll give her a little something, you know? Like, come on. I didn't say all that. You think he's not going to take her out to dinner?

[01:34:02] [SPEAKER_05] All right, Angela.

[01:34:03] [SPEAKER_00] I'm saying you think he's not going to take her out to dinner if he gets that money? Come on.

[01:34:06] [SPEAKER_05] I mean, maybe not after he sees the press that she did after she got evicted. I don't know.

[01:34:13] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, ultimately, like I said, I think my prediction is that Drew does take this and that does involve Melody's vote. So I do think it's going in that direction, as does the audience is very confident about this audience. 93 percent. Well, in fact, they think Melody is his likeliest vote at this point. Then we have Dee and Devin's. I think I think both of them are locked Drew votes. I don't I think these are not even questions for me.

[01:34:44] [SPEAKER_02] You guys agree? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 96 percent for Dee. The weasel. 99 percent for Devin's. Yeah. So according to the audience, Drew has three locked in guaranteed votes. Those are Devin's Dee and Melody. Then he likely has Angela. 74 percent confidence. He might have Barrett. 51 percent confidence. And then Taylor gets Lala for sure.

[01:35:15] [SPEAKER_02] Probably maybe Yash. 65 percent confidence. And then again, maybe Barrett, who's basically sitting right in the middle. But basically what this means is that the audience pretty heavily favors a Drew win over Taylor. Yeah.

[01:35:32] [SPEAKER_05] You know, like, look, again, like I think the Barrett thing probably swings in her favor. And again, I'm I'm in complete disagreement in terms of like how Angela votes. But. All right.

[01:35:50] [SPEAKER_02] Let's then talk about what happens if Devin's wins the final three HOH and he takes Drew. Where do we think Lala votes? Devin's versus Drew. Honestly, I think this is perhaps a near unanimous vote with like one sympathy vote for Melody to Drew.

[01:36:13] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah.

[01:36:17] [SPEAKER_05] Probably. I mean, maybe.

[01:36:21] [SPEAKER_02] No, never mind. The audience says Lala. Ninety five percent votes Devin's. Angela. One hundred percent votes Devin's. Barrett. Seventy two percent votes Devin's. Yash. Ninety percent votes Devin's. Wow. Then Melody. Eighty five percent for Drew. D. A hundred percent for Devin's. Taylor. Seventy three percent for Devin's. So, yes, the audience predicts. Yep. Which I think. One vote for Devin's to win.

[01:36:50] [SPEAKER_05] I think that's appropriate because I don't think Devin's needs to be an animus winner. I really don't. I don't think that he needs that level of prestige in Big Brother. Just based off of all of the faux pas in his game. So, yeah.

[01:37:04] [SPEAKER_02] Well, I did ask the final scenario, even though it's basically impossible, at least right now, it certainly doesn't mean it will remain impossible. What happens if Devin's or Taylor take one another? What happens between Devin's and Taylor in a vote? There's been an argument. Rob brought up this point.

[01:37:27] [SPEAKER_02] Maybe there's a world where Taylor actually does have a better chance against Devin's because if she needs Melody's vote, the only way to get it is to not be against Drew. Let's find out what the audience thinks. They think Lala, 94% goes to Taylor. Angela, 99% goes to Devin's. Then Barrett, very key vote in this matchup. 73% think Barrett will go to Devin's.

[01:37:56] [SPEAKER_02] Which, yeah, I mean, I think actually, I didn't separate this out, but if Devin's took Taylor, I think that's actually a better look for Taylor. And she has more of a chance here, but I think I agree. I think Barrett probably, you know, toes the line for Devin's. Yash, 76% goes to Devin's. I mean, given his praise for Devin's game, I think that's certainly possible.

[01:38:24] [SPEAKER_02] I could see him throwing a vote for Taylor, especially if he didn't think she would win.

[01:38:28] [SPEAKER_05] I still feel like he needs to vote for his friend here. I just don't. Like, to me, it's like if it's a Taylor versus Drew situation and he ultimately, in my opinion, still would give Taylor the vote because it's not necessarily about, like, the better game. Your friend is there. You vote for your friend. I still feel like this one applies. Like, you vote for Taylor here. You do not vote for Devin's. Especially if you already think that Devin's is going to win.

[01:38:56] [SPEAKER_05] You give, yeah, like you just said, you give Taylor the vote. It's your friend.

[01:39:01] [SPEAKER_02] Come on. Malady, 67% for Devin's. That's the weakest one so far for Devin's. But I do think it would be a Devin's vote. D, 100%. And then Drew, 99%. I guess there's maybe a world where Devin's cuts Drew and takes Taylor. And that's the 1% world where he doesn't vote for Devin's afterward. Daddy Devin's. So, yes, it's still a 6-1 vote in Devin's favor. Now, I mean, but this is the key thing, right?

[01:39:31] [SPEAKER_02] Against Drew, Taylor was, it was 5-2. And she had a chance at picking up a third vote. But the next closest vote that the audience thought she had was at 74%, roughly 75%. This vote has three votes in that 70% range. But if she got one of them, she might get all of them, at which point she's 4-3, right? That's, I think, the argument.

[01:39:58] [SPEAKER_02] She might get Melody, Yash, and Barrett all together with Lala. But as this sort of chart shows, it doesn't seem particularly likely, or at least the audience certainly doesn't seem to think so.

[01:40:08] [SPEAKER_01] So, it's tough.

[01:40:12] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Well, there it is. That is the survey portion of the podcast. Fun stuff. I thought the visual was very fun. Yeah.

[01:40:21] [SPEAKER_00] Very cool. I like that. It makes it easier to, like, kind of see it as well, rather than us just saying it.

[01:40:26] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. All right. Finally, let's rate these final three players. This is the portion of the podcast where we rate the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they are doing. God, there's nobody there. In the game. There are only three players left. So, it shouldn't take too long here. Starting with Devens. Starting with Devens, who, again, I mean, he's basically flipping a coin to win the game right now.

[01:40:54] [SPEAKER_02] He's not studying or hasn't been studying until perhaps this moment. So, I don't love that. I think that he should be studying. I think that is the biggest criticism I could give him. But maybe he has been studying. So, who knows? Either way, though, I think very impressive stuff to have convinced Drew to take him to final three. He then goes on to win part two.

[01:41:22] [SPEAKER_02] I think the only, like... I would say, you know, a player in the final three who I want to give a 10 to is somebody who's guaranteed final two, guaranteed the win. Basically. Like, that's basically what I want to reserve a 10 to. A nine should be pretty much guaranteed final two. But could be a toss-up depending on who they're sitting next to. But they've played very well and they have a great chance of winning.

[01:41:49] [SPEAKER_02] I think eight is maybe closer to the Stevan spot of, like, potentially will win the game as well. In fact, let me take a gander. What was going on last season? This is the final rating we gave. I gave Morgan a nine. Oh, my God. Because she... So, maybe I'm wrong. I gave Morgan a nine here. Although that's actually... It wasn't a final three rating, so it actually is not the same. Did we have any final three ratings?

[01:42:19] [SPEAKER_02] Not in season 26. Wow, that's crazy. Season 25 we did. Man, I was...

[01:42:28] [SPEAKER_00] Wow, Jag was not rated high.

[01:42:30] [SPEAKER_02] I was so convinced because everyone was talking about Matt winning if he makes it to the end. Oh.

[01:42:37] [SPEAKER_06] Oh, my God.

[01:42:40] [SPEAKER_02] Either way, it kind of goes to show. I think I had Jag at a much higher rating the week before. But I thought Jag was going to take Matt. I thought Jag had locked himself out of a win because he couldn't beat Matt. And he was going to take Matt. And I was like, oh, this guy. I still blame Corey for that. Tricking me. Anyway, Devin's spot here. Man. Man. Maybe it is. I mean, maybe...

[01:43:10] [SPEAKER_02] Okay, again. Morgan was a nine at the final four. She was in very good position. We knew a lot less information. If Morgan had been going into the final three against Vince, maybe it would be... Yeah, I think... I think an eight makes sense for me, for Devin's here. I think that he is very likely to win part three. Or sorry, to win the game if he wins part three. But I don't like that he hasn't studied until now.

[01:43:40] [SPEAKER_02] And... But I also was very impressed with him getting Drew to take him to the final three. I think eight makes sense. Melissa, what do you think?

[01:43:54] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. I mean, I think that makes sense for me as well. I think an eight. It's just he just has to get there. Like, obviously, yes, we reward the fact that he was able to convince Drew. But now he's at the place where it's like he has to get to the end. But I do think that, as we've seen in what we were just doing with the jury votes, if he gets to the end, he's probably going to win. Or he has a very good chance of winning. And so he just has to get there.

[01:44:22] [SPEAKER_00] But, you know, I could see him doing it. It's not like he's in the Drew scenario where someone has to win and take him. He still has a chance to win, especially if he starts studying now. He does have a good chance. So we'll see. But, yeah, that's that's an eight.

[01:44:45] [SPEAKER_05] I'll be giving Rick Devens a one down with all survival players. No, I'm kidding. Oh, my God. I was going to say, oh. Hot damn. Yeah. Yeah. You know, fine. I think, you know, I'll give him a seven only because. I agree with mostly everything that you guys just said.

[01:45:10] [SPEAKER_05] But I do think that just based off of what we know about, like the studying right now, it kind of shaves off some points. I think he likely beats either the people that he sits next to. But again, like Melissa said, you kind of have to get there. But undoubtedly came into the game with such a massive target, was assisted by by some things and some twists and whatever. But like.

[01:45:39] [SPEAKER_05] Best move entirely was cultivating this relationship with Drew because it ends up getting him into the end game in which he should not have gotten into, in my opinion. So it's like you can't you like you got to give the guy his props there. Some unnecessary gambles throughout the game, but. A pretty solid game, a pretty solid game. So.

[01:46:03] [SPEAKER_02] All right. The audience says. A seven. They agree with Amon. OK, Melissa. Thoughts on Drew? Drew.

[01:46:14] [SPEAKER_00] I mean, Drew's in a pretty good spot because I feel like he gets taken either way. And so he doesn't need to win. Now, the problem is, is that he's not in a position where he can take someone or cut Devens and take Taylor. So that's worse for him because it doesn't allow him to prove himself. He just gets taken to the end as someone that they could potentially be. Um.

[01:46:42] [SPEAKER_00] So that's that's not great, but he does have a chance to win if he gets there, if he has the right speech. Um. Oof. This one's this one's tough because I think he can't make the argument that he cut Devens.

[01:47:06] [SPEAKER_00] I don't know if taking Devens was great for his game, aside from the fact that he will be taken. It's one of those things where it's like, did he make the right move because Devin like he'll get taken to the end or he has a better chance of getting taken to the end than if D was there. But can he beat Devens? OK. Um. I feel like. Oh, I feel like I want to give him.

[01:47:36] [SPEAKER_00] A seven, I think, because I could absolutely see a scenario where Taylor wins and takes Drew and then Drew wins. But but I think that it's it's tricky, whereas with Devens, like if he just gets to the end, he wins. Uh, so yeah. Yeah.

[01:47:54] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. Mm hmm. I mean, look, Drew was a force this season, you know, fun to watch, annoying to watch, very polarizing character. Uh, often a lot of his strategy was outsourced and it improved the resumes of the people that he played under and not necessarily always for himself.

[01:48:20] [SPEAKER_05] But he's really ramped it up in the end game, um, winning these crucial comps, won the most powerful veto of the season. Um, and really is shaping a narrative for him to clutch a win in the end. Uh, but yeah, I mean, it's similar to like, I mean, I feel like, like, whereas Devens, it's all about whether or not he can like study hard enough to get that final HOH with him. It's like, who's going to be the one that actually takes you to the final two.

[01:48:47] [SPEAKER_05] And if it is Devens, it's looking kind of rough for you, bro. But if it's Taylor, you might be able to scratch something out. Although I still feel like Taylor might have an edge. So I think in my mind, he has two hurdles where maybe Devens has one. So I have to give him a six.

[01:49:08] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, I think I'm with you on this one, Amon. I think, uh, six makes sense to me here for Drew. I personally still think that the better play for Drew was to cut Devens, take D, rely on himself to win the final three HOH. Uh, maybe that wouldn't have happened. Maybe he would be in a similar situation boxed out with no chance to win. But I, I don't know about that.

[01:49:36] [SPEAKER_02] I think that Drew would have had a better shot at beating either Taylor or D in part two. Uh, Taylor certainly seems to think so. Um, and if he had done that, if he had, if he had booked himself a ticket to part three, I think that, uh, there's a very real, like we'd be looking at Drew with a 50% chance to win rather than Drew with, you know, a 50% chance at a probable win. Um, and that relies on Taylor.

[01:50:02] [SPEAKER_02] Now, actually, if, if you really look at the results of it, it's like, well, given Drew's misunderstanding of what part three is and the fact that he wouldn't have studied so on and so forth. Uh, but, um, yeah, but I, you know, I, I still feel like, uh, that was the call. Um, the audience though says a six. They agree with Amon and I here. Okay. Finally, Taylor. Amon, how do you feel about Taylor?

[01:50:33] [SPEAKER_02] Oh man. Joe, what an upstart.

[01:50:37] [SPEAKER_05] I, I, I, I, I cannot get over the fact that she is still here. Like, I think that I had like mentally checked her out of this game quite some time ago. Like, even as she would like survive from week to week, I was like, oh yeah, but she'll be good. She'll be gone soon. Now she's here with a real chance of winning. And I think that that kind of momentum is so infectious and it's fun and it's exciting. And again, it will spark debate until the end of time.

[01:51:07] [SPEAKER_05] And it will, it will make a lot of people very happy. It will make a lot of people very upset, but I love that. I mean, I think that that really is big brother in a lot of ways. And so I'm, I'm just excited in that regard. I think, yes, all of the critiques about her game are completely valid. I think that her social strategy is like capped. I think that her ceiling is very low.

[01:51:30] [SPEAKER_05] So I think that this type of game is a very easily accessible game for most people to play. Like sit in your pod, do nothing, come out every now and then, talk with your peeps, try to influence votes here and there. When your people are in power, spread your wings a little bit and then go back into your reclusive state. And then turn it up at the end.

[01:51:56] [SPEAKER_05] Like, I think that a lot of people are, can, can play that type of game, which means people automatically disrespect it. But at the end of the day, guys, it is a strategy. Was it one that I think that she maybe wanted to go into the house with? I don't think so. I think in a lot of ways she was kind of iced out of a lot of what was going on, which isn't necessarily her fault, but it's still an effective strategy. Y'all, it works. It works for some people.

[01:52:24] [SPEAKER_05] And if it works and it gets it to the end and she wins, girl, who are we to say? She's not deserving. The juror said, all right, yeah, let's give it to Taylor. And she won. So, yeah, I think that she still has a really good shot against Drew. I don't know about Devin's, but I think that she probably will beat Devin's in the final three HOH.

[01:52:54] [SPEAKER_05] So, to me, based off of my other weightings, I got to give her the eight. I'm so sorry. The eight? Yep. I got to.

[01:53:08] [SPEAKER_02] I got to. Interesting. Okay. I mean, this is because you are predicting that she beats Drew in the final two, Jury. Yes. Yes. See, I'm leaning in the other direction. I feel like Drew beats her, but I am very not like 100% sure about that. I do think she has a very legitimate chance.

[01:53:37] [SPEAKER_02] Um, I also think that, uh, that I really like how much her sort of story has evolved over the last few days. I like that she is actively studying and not making the silly mistake of thinking that part three is something else. Uh, I think that her being the one to cut Devin's is really huge. Last week, I gave her a six.

[01:54:02] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, I think that losing D cost a lot, but then winning part, uh, one bought her back a lot. Uh, but I can't go as high as the eight just because I don't know that she does beat Drew. Uh, but I will give her, uh, a six. I think that, um, I think that Devin's wins if he wins part three. I think if Taylor wins part three, she has a chance to be drew drew has a chance to beat her.

[01:54:30] [SPEAKER_02] I think it's, it's a tough call and I like how Taylor's playing it a little more than I like how Drew's playing it right now. Uh, but, uh, but we'll see.

[01:54:41] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, yeah, I guess I'll go with a seven probably because I do think that her winning that last HOH and now winning part one, I feel it. And then if she wins part three, I feel like that is a very impressive line there where it's like, okay, she can argue that look. I, cause the whole thing was like, well, she didn't win anything. She didn't have any power. She can say I won when it mattered.

[01:55:07] [SPEAKER_00] And I was on my own, like scrapping my way through this game. I didn't have an Alliance to rely on. I didn't have, um, powers to rely on. And so I feel like there's a very strong argument there for her if she wins part three. Um, so yeah, I feel like with Taylor and drew, it's like a toss up to me in the end. I think if Devin's gets there, I think Devin's has got it. But I do think that like, really, it's truly anyone's game right now.

[01:55:35] [SPEAKER_00] And so this is, uh, this is very crazy. This is very exciting.

[01:55:40] [SPEAKER_02] All right. What does the audience think? We were very varied here. Uh, the audience says a six. They agree with me on that one.

[01:55:50] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, all greens. This has gotta be the first time we've had all greens for the finale, which is largely because like,

[01:55:59] [SPEAKER_02] it's, I, it's just such a, like, I would not be surprised at anybody winning here. Not a single person on this board. Uh, I think I would be surprised if they won. Um, yeah.

[01:56:12] [SPEAKER_05] Like I could like go into a coma and not wake up until like after the finale and not be so like y'all could say anything. And I'd be like, okay, yeah, that tracks.

[01:56:21] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. This is wild.

[01:56:24] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah.

[01:56:24] [SPEAKER_00] It makes for a very fun, uh, finale for sure. Cause like, it's really, truly, I don't know what's going to happen. I, I do think that narratively a Devin's win makes the most sense for this season. Uh, what dramaturgically, uh, according to succession. Yeah. But I just feel like that would be, I think like that is very representative of the season as a whole.

[01:56:53] [SPEAKER_00] And you would look back and be like, oh yeah, that's the season that Devin's won the icons, all that. Okay. That makes sense. Versus the, a Taylor win. I feel like that would be a bit confusing for someone who's like watching the season or doesn't really know the season or whatever. It just doesn't feel like the way the season is quote unquote, like supposed to go from like the edit perspective.

[01:57:17] [SPEAKER_02] Perspective, but I think, I think last night's episode is such an example of why they went through each person's game and they most heavily focused on. So then I won this competition and then I used the power to do this. And even when Taylor was explaining her game, it was like, well, things were looking bad until I won that veto to save myself. And then things were looking bad again until I won that final four HOH. Right.

[01:57:45] [SPEAKER_02] And it's like, that's the only way they know how to edit. It's just like, uh, you know, like what are we doing?

[01:57:52] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, no, for sure. I think that like, it's one of those things, it's the same thing where it's like, if this was a survivor season where this is a winner has already been decided and they can edit after the fact, they could have told a very interesting story about Taylor's win, or they could have told a very interesting story about Drew's win. Uh, but it seems like the story they're telling is Devin's win. And yeah, I feel like it's like now, if you were to, if Taylor were to win and you were

[01:58:19] [SPEAKER_00] to go back and watch the season again, you'd be like, huh? Okay. I don't really know how that happened, but all right. Versus like the way that the, you know, the tide has been moving. So it's, you know, it'll be interesting to see what happens. I think, yeah, I don't know. I, uh, I guess I will probably feel most satisfied with the Devin's win probably because I like the idea that big moves and big, like splashy fun gets rewarded.

[01:58:49] [SPEAKER_00] Um, and I think that we had the shock win last year with Ashley. Um, that was last year, right? Yes. I don't remember her anymore. Uh, like that I feel was like the shock, like, Whoa, we weren't expecting that. She was like the underdog the whole time. We didn't think she was going to win. And I feel like having another like shock win of like the underdog who we didn't expect. And like, you had the big strategic person and then they didn't win. Like we had that already.

[01:59:18] [SPEAKER_00] So I do feel like I've seen it. And not to compare Taylor's game to Ashley, because I think they're completely different games. I just think that narrative of like the underdog comes through and you've got this person who's been like kind of leading the season all the whole time. And then at the very end, they're cut and they lose. Um, yeah, I don't know.

[01:59:39] [SPEAKER_02] Well, I want to go through some of the history, uh, here, uh, before we wrap up. Um, Devin's in terms of stock watch rating, uh, was pretty consistently high. Um, he started at a seven, then went down to a two on his HOA train. This was right after he made that call to renom melody instead of lyric, which to be fair,

[02:00:06] [SPEAKER_02] did like significantly like hamper his long-term relationship with melody for much of the game. Uh, which was, you know, again, like, uh, really just did not help him a whole lot, but he certainly made it through, uh, did really well, uh, to rebound when Kamu won the next HOH. Continued to stay in power and was one of the most highly rated players throughout the

[02:00:31] [SPEAKER_02] first half of the season until he volunteered for the block.

[02:00:38] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. Yeah.

[02:00:39] [SPEAKER_02] That would do it. He fell down to a two, uh, he needed to win to survive. And then a week later he was on the block again and needed to win to survive again. And then in the double eviction, he needed to win to survive. Uh, but he did, he won all three of those things. Uh, he recovered. Then he managed to talk himself through to the final three. And now he is the favorite to win the game.

[02:01:07] [SPEAKER_02] Drew started well, slowly declined as impending doom approached him as his alliance did not trust him, uh, until he finally landed on the block doing nothing to get himself out of simple again, similar to Devin's. He got the two, uh, on his way out the door, but then things flipped. He won. He started recovering until, uh-oh, D puts him on the block again. He's again got to win to survive. He does.

[02:01:38] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, and then he survives through a couple more rounds by winning. He wins a veto that is very impressive. And then he wins some more. He wins another veto to survive. And now he is in the final three needing not to win, but to win over a jury and hope that somebody else wins.

[02:01:57] [SPEAKER_00] Do we have an average, do we have an average stock watch rating for each of the players from the, over the course of the season?

[02:02:04] [SPEAKER_02] Um, I don't have one here.

[02:02:08] [SPEAKER_00] Cause it'd be fun to see like who, like if Devin's was like on average, a six player and

[02:02:15] [SPEAKER_02] Drew, I have another view that I'll try to show once we finish this and that might have it, but we'll see.

[02:02:21] [SPEAKER_01] Um, Taylor's a pretty consistent.

[02:02:23] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor had a pretty consistent run here. Very consistently in the four, five, six, five, four, five, four, six range until right now where she's peaking at a seven. Um, which I think again, like really just, you know, goes to show the game that she played, which was a very steady one. Um, and, uh, she was never in like a significant amount of danger, but she also didn't have a significant amount of sway over where things were going.

[02:02:52] [SPEAKER_02] Um, so, uh, things were up sometimes they were down sometimes, but through it all, she retained her general position. Uh, and we never put her in a spot. She never dipped below a four. She's like where both drew and devins dipped way down into the two range when they were in danger of leaving. Uh, Taylor also, despite not being in a lot of danger was never in that lower range of

[02:03:19] [SPEAKER_02] like, we don't think she can win the game because she's always also maintained at least some level of respect to the point that we do think she has a chance of winning. Uh, unlike other people who are sort of dragged along, it always felt like she had a chance to win. There was always a level of like, she's got winner energy. She's really like impressive in different ways. Um, and so that is partly why she is here at a seven in the final three, because we do

[02:03:46] [SPEAKER_02] think there's still a chance she can win this game. Um, and let me see if I can, uh, parse this out for you here. Um, and, uh, so this chart shows, I think there was supposed to be, uh, some kind of comparison,

[02:04:12] [SPEAKER_02] uh, here, but I'm not sure I should have, uh, played with this before, but either way, this is, um, this is the ranking of, uh, of like the ranking version of the stock watch. Where were they ranked against the other players, um, in, in the house? So like, Oh boy. Devon's was number one, four times. All time low.

[02:04:40] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, and last place twice. Uh, and otherwise was relatively highly ranked in the season. Taylor again, relatively in that middle range for most of the season ending in the middle here in the final three. Uh, and then drew was last place three times, including here at the final three. Uh, his peak was week six when he was ranked number two.

[02:05:10] [SPEAKER_02] He's a mess. In the entire house. He is a messy boy.

[02:05:16] [SPEAKER_00] Oh, wow. Wait, was it, sorry. Was Taylor ever ranked number one?

[02:05:21] [SPEAKER_02] No. Uh, her peak was, uh, well, technically this week at week two or at second place, but week nine, she was also third place. Um, that would have been, I imagine like either shortly, like right before the Osh HOH or, uh, or during the Osh HOH perhaps. Um, there's also like, uh, you can see D was quite high for most of the season.

[02:05:46] [SPEAKER_02] She was, she, D took first place a total of six times through the season. Um, and Yash managed to get two first places. Uh, he really had a rise and then a dramatic, uh, crash, uh, out from second place. Um, let me see. I swear there was a way to, um, compare this, but, uh, I don't see it.

[02:06:16] [SPEAKER_02] Um, oh, here it is. Ha. Uh, can you see this? No, I don't think you can see this. Hold on. No, we just see Devon's. Can you see this? Oh yeah.

[02:06:26] [SPEAKER_01] Oh yeah. Okay.

[02:06:27] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. This is that dotted line. That is the popularity ranking.

[02:06:32] [SPEAKER_06] Hmm.

[02:06:34] [SPEAKER_02] So I wanted to see, uh, how much does the stock watch ranking correlate to the popularity ranking? Um, and, uh, generally identical. Yeah. It's like, you can see that there's a little bit of a dip, uh, a little bit of a dip for, from his first popularity when the stock watch goes down. Um, so I wouldn't say it's a super strong correlation, but there's something there. Yeah.

[02:07:03] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, for Taylor. Oh, it's a bit all over the map. I would say.

[02:07:08] [SPEAKER_01] Wow.

[02:07:09] [SPEAKER_02] You can see a correlation in the first five weeks, but then does not correlate in weeks seven, eight. Uh, and then, you know, uh, so a little bit, a little bit here in the, for the first half. And then drew. Okay. Drew's is a lot closer. Yeah.

[02:07:29] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah.

[02:07:29] [SPEAKER_02] Um, yeah. Drew's is actually almost identical aside from the week for low rating. Uh, and this week when massive shoot up. Yeah. Yeah. Um, so that's, that's interesting. Yeah, that is interesting. All right. Anyway, that's, that's my, those are my stats for you. Yeah. Hope you enjoyed them.

[02:07:54] [SPEAKER_01] Love it.

[02:07:55] [SPEAKER_05] And that's, uh, you should publish another book, Taryn full of all the stats. It's the big brother stats. Yeah.

[02:08:02] [SPEAKER_00] That would actually be pretty cool.

[02:08:03] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah.

[02:08:03] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, it looks like Richie in the chat says the averages, uh, of the players for the stock watch over the season is Devin 6.25 drew is five and Taylor's 4.9. I think that's what he's saying is that those are the averages.

[02:08:18] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, that tracks to me.

[02:08:19] [SPEAKER_00] Like that seems right. Cause Taylor was four or five, four or five, whatever.

[02:08:24] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[02:08:26] [SPEAKER_00] So interesting.

[02:08:28] [SPEAKER_02] Fun.

[02:08:28] [SPEAKER_00] Can't believe this is it.

[02:08:30] [SPEAKER_02] All right. This is yes. The final round table of the season. Uh, the, we will have a few more, uh, live feed updates over the next few days and then it will be the finale recap and that will be it from us aside from, uh, our post season interviews. So, um, I hope you've enjoyed, hope you've had a good time through the season. Uh, hopefully, uh, you know, I put a lot of work into all the, the stack collection and

[02:09:00] [SPEAKER_02] stuff. So I hope you've enjoyed that over the season. Um, and, uh, yeah. Anything else to talk about guys?

[02:09:09] [SPEAKER_00] Um, just can't believe it's over. This has been very fun. And, uh, gosh, I, uh, I'm always sad when it comes to an end. I feel like it's like, it goes on so long. You're just like, man, this is lasting forever. And then when it comes to an end, you're like, wait, wait, hold on. We need more. Like, it's weird to think that we won't have this again until next year. Well, unless something happens.

[02:09:33] [SPEAKER_05] You know, we do. We might have a little something, something up North.

[02:09:37] [SPEAKER_00] We might.

[02:09:38] [SPEAKER_05] We don't know exactly what that entails yet, but it might be something, something, you

[02:09:42] [SPEAKER_00] know, fingers crossed.

[02:09:45] [SPEAKER_05] But no, I echo what Melissa said. This was a, this, I enjoyed myself this season. Um, I finally like in my personal life, got to actually consume more of big brother this season. So it's always a plus for me, but yeah, that's about it.

[02:10:00] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Well, thank you all so much for being here. Make sure you check out my Patreon. I started it last year. I post over there a ton, especially in the off season. If you don't want to, if you don't want to leave and you want to stick around and hang out with me, I'm watching survivor traders. I'm going to be doing a rewatch through big brother too, as if it were real time with live feed updates and everything.

[02:10:28] [SPEAKER_02] So it'll be the closest thing that you can get to experiencing the season live with context from live feeds. So come over and check that out if you want to over my Patreon. Uh, and I think that's about it. I'm on. What do you got going on?

[02:10:44] [SPEAKER_05] You can follow me everywhere. I'm on Adwin. Um, you can check out the diary room also in the, uh, in the off season where Matt, me and Matt Liguori are, uh, trying to find the best big brother player of all time. We are currently in round two. Um, our next episode that is coming out tomorrow, we'll be featuring Michelle Costa, a big brother 10 fame. So come and see what she's been saying about the season and how she's going to rate some of these players, um, and see if they can make it into round three. And that is it for me.

[02:11:15] [SPEAKER_05] All right. And Melissa.

[02:11:17] [SPEAKER_00] Well, I will be on the finale recap on Thursday. So this is not the end of me yet. Um, but I also want to, I definitely intend to stream also during the off season, but I need to figure out what to talk about, uh, or stream on Twitch. And I'll just be watching stuff or chatting or doing something or showing Kalan off or whatever, having the dogs bark in the background. Who knows? It could be any of those things.

[02:11:47] [SPEAKER_00] Uh, so yeah, I, it, I'm at, um, it's Melissa with three A's. Duh.

[02:11:54] [SPEAKER_06] If that makes sense. There you go.

[02:11:57] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Thank you all so much for joining us all season long here on the round table podcast. We will see all of you next season.
