[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_15] Hello everyone and welcome to the Big Brother 28 Roundtable Podcast. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and this is the podcast where we talk about everything from the feeds and we rate the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they are doing in the game. We also talk about all kinds of other stuff, including the survey results where we rank and rate all kinds of things. This week, a little bit interesting because I actually put out two surveys. Yes, that's two surveys.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_15] If you've only filled out one of the surveys, you can check my Twitter and or blue sky. I've tweeted out a second survey because we have new information that is pretty relevant. We will discuss the results of both surveys to see what the differences are. And that's what I've got for you this week. And with me this week, as always, Melissa. How are you doing, Melissa?

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_09] This has been a wild week. First of all, I haven't gotten to talk since the double eviction and the double eviction was so awesome. I was literally pacing around my house because I was just so excited. And Dennis's parents were in town, so they were very confused because they don't watch Big Brother. And I told them, like, everyone, I'm so sorry, but I have to watch. I have to see what's going on here. This is a very important episode. So afterwards, they were trying to be polite and, like, ask me questions of, like, so what happened?

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_09] And it was a little hard to explain, like, all these people and whatever. But it was very, very fun. I had a great time. Now we're, like, down to what? Like, four people all of a sudden. I'm just, like, everything has happened. So I'm very excited to talk about it.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, a lot has happened. Also joining us this week is Mari. How you doing, Mari?

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah, we're back. Is this the final roundtable of the season? Am I closing it out?

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_15] No, I believe we will have one more next week before the finale.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_17] Save the best for last. No, I'm so glad to be back with the recent developments. This is going to be fun. This is going to be real fun to break down.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_15] Yes, we are now down to the final four. From this morning's update till now, we have a person has been evicted and we have a new final four HOH. So new developments to talk about. And the last time we spoke, it was the final seven. And Yash was the HOH.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_09] So crazy. So much. We've lived a lifetime since then.

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_15] We've lost three players since then. So if you had money in the stock watch.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_08] Crazy.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_15] I don't know where it went. Might be gone. Oh, my God. So plenty to talk about here. Of course, as you saw in the episodes, you saw that it was, in fact, who Barrett?

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_09] You're like, who?

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_15] Barrett was still in the house. He left on Yash's HOH when Melody won the blockbuster. Then Melody won the double eviction, tried to get out Devins', who won the veto, saved himself. Yash was the renom. Yash was evicted in the double eviction, followed by a Devins' HOH win where he nominated Melody and Drew. Drew likely would have been the evictee there.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_15] But he saved himself with the veto, which pulled himself off the block and led to presumably Taylor going on the block. At which point today, while the feeds were down, Melody was, in fact, evicted on Devin's HOH reign, bringing us to the final four. Here at the final four, Taylor, Drew, and Dee competed for the final four HOH.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_15] Very coveted position because it gives you safety heading into the final three, and you are still allowed to compete in the final three HOH. And so the three of them competed, and Taylor came out the winner of the final four HOH. Hot damn! Meaning one of Drew, Dee, or Devin's will be evicted here at the final four.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_15] And one of them will have to do the evicting as well, as Taylor will not have a vote. She can only, at best, if she wins the veto, choose who is voting. Meaning there's a lot of room to play here between the three of these surviving crossover members as they vie for being the person that ideally neither of the other two will evict.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah. There's a lot going on. This is so wild. I mean, I never would have expected this to be our final four at the start of the season. So this is really insane. I was so sad to lose Barrett, but, you know, I feel like there wasn't anything that could have happened that could have stopped that.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_09] And so I kind of knew that was coming, unfortunately, if he didn't win the Blockbuster, which I thought he was going to win the Blockbuster. So I thought this was going to go an entirely different direction. It's one of those things where, like, when Melody won the Blockbuster and then won the HOH, it was really exciting television because it's, like, not at all what I thought was going to happen. Everyone had counted Melody out. So it's like, yeah, let's see this.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_09] But at the same time, it's kind of like that's probably long term, like, the least interesting thing that could have happened because I didn't feel like Melody had a shot to win. So it wasn't like, oh, this changes everything. It's just like, oh, yeah, I guess she wins, like, for one night and then goes out, which is exactly what happened. So it was made for an exciting night of television, but not for an exciting end of season.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_09] I think if Barrett had stayed in, I think that would have made for a more exciting rest of season because I do think Barrett could have had a chance, like, at winning eventually. And, like, or even, like, keeping someone like Yash in the game, I think that could have, as much as it's like, yeah, we got to get the comp thread out. It makes total sense that they wanted to get Yash out. For a viewer, it's maybe less interesting because then it's like, okay, then who can compete against, like, Devin's basically.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_09] Like, it just kind of feels like.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_15] Apparently Taylor.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_09] Apparently Taylor can. I'm not competing against Devin, sorry. But, oh, yeah.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_15] Devin's was not competing in the final four.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_09] So basically nobody can compete against Devin. So, I don't know, it's just kind of one of those things where, like, it was a very exciting night of television, but made for maybe a less exciting end of season. Although, who knows? We still have a lot more season left to go. So I cannot believe they kept Devin. I thought for sure Devin was a goner. So that was very exciting. I love watching what Devin has done. But, yeah, it's just been a wild week.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_07] Quite a wild week.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_17] I, the. I was, I was able to talk about the double eviction on the double eviction recap with Taryn. So I've got my Barrett morning out of the way. I will say that I agree. It's at these moments of the game that we can always wonder, like, what if? So if Melody doesn't win the blockbuster, I think it was Taylor who was second behind her in that HOH.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_17] What if Taylor was the, you know, double eviction HOH winner? Would we still have Barrett, Yash, and maybe not a Drew or Dee or Devin's here? Like, it's a lot of what ifs. But where we're at right now, this, we kind of lucked into a really good Final Four scenario.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_17] Taylor winning the HOH and securing her spot in the Final Three, making that crossovers turn on each other, come at least just one round earlier. It still adds some fun and intrigue to the week, as opposed to if Taylor hadn't won this HOH and they might have more considered getting rid of her than the other person.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_17] I think I just love the fact that they have to turn on each other right here and right now. And it really does feel like a $750,000 decision at the Final Four instead of waiting until that Final Three moment.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, I mean, I think that we are in quite an interesting scenario here where, you know, I still think every single person left in the game can win. I see a scenario for all, especially now that Taylor has won this Final Four HOH. If she also wins the Final Three HOH and takes the right person, and I don't even necessarily know who the right person is at this point.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_15] It's probably just as long as it's not Devin's, there's a chance. Then I do think there's a chance that she could win. I think there's a chance Drew could win if he's up against Taylor or maybe even against Dee. I think Devin's wins no matter who he sits next to. And I certainly think Dee could win against either Drew or Taylor. And all those combinations are all very live. Like, and that's the Final Two scenarios.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_15] Not to mention who's taking who to the Final Two, which is still a live question. And now, who's taking who to the Final Three is a live question. And I think a lot of people, if you've been kind of checked out of the feeds over the last couple of days, you might still be operating under, and maybe it's correct, but you might still be operating under the assumption that little baby Drew will do what Daddy Devin says and obviously evict Dee here at the Final Four.

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_15] However, over the last couple of days, Dee has been working very hard on Drew to convince him that he should be taking her and not Devin's. And building that relationship to the point where they have promised each other. They're not, I mean, not promised, but they have told each other that they're going to be taking each other to Final Two because they know that neither of them has a chance against Devin's.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_15] Drew even said to Melody last night, I think I need to go to the Final Two with Dee, even over Taylor, which says a lot, right? If he thinks, because if he thinks he can go to the end with Taylor and Drew wins the Final Four veto, he might feel comfortable evicting Dee going to the end with Devin's and Taylor and thinking, all I need to do is win Final Three HOH, cut Devins, take Taylor, I win the game.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_15] But if he thinks I might lose to Taylor and Dee is really my best shot, he actually might choose to evict Devins to go with Dee to the Final Three and then think, all I need to do is win Final Three HOH against slightly worse competitors, hopefully, and then take whoever one of the two, I feel at that point, and potentially win the game.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_15] So then you have the D side of it, where it's like, D2 may feel that this is the opportunity to take Devins out. And going to the end with Taylor and Drew, where ideally Taylor takes her, and she either takes Taylor or Drew, whichever she feels she could beat at that point, might be the better option than hoping that she can beat Devins at the Final Three. Devins himself might be thinking, this is my chance to take out Dee.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_15] Because I think Drew will take me to the end, and I think I'll beat him. So this could go any way. I really don't even know at this point.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_17] All I know is that I really want Devins to not win the veto. Like, I just want either Dee or Drew to have to make that decision at Final Four. I truly, truly do. And if you would have asked me four days ago, I would have been like somebody who is currently rooting for Taylor and Dee.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_17] I was like, man, I would not want Drew to win the Final Four veto because he's obviously going to cut Dee and would take Devins to the end. But the work that literally they were, I just saw on the feeds 10 minutes ago, really seems like Drew is really coming around to cutting Devins when he can.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_17] And I honestly think we might get a better, like a very tense outcome if Devins isn't safe via the veto. Like, I want to see what either one of them does.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. And, you know, one of the first things I saw when the feeds came back when Taylor won the HOH was Devins actually telling the cameras he thinks this is good for him. He thinks this is actually a good situation for him that Taylor won this HOH because he does think that both Drew and Dee will keep him at the Final Four. And that, like, blood won't be on his hands in that spot.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_15] And Taylor now looks like an even bigger threat and so therefore less likely to be taken to Final Two by whoever brings him to Final Three. And I can't help but disagree at this point. He could end up being right, right? Like, it's possible. Yeah. But I think it's a lot sketchier than he realizes.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_15] He is not aware of the depth of conversations that have been that have taken place between Dee and Drew about exactly this scenario. Maybe not exactly this scenario, but close to this scenario. And so. Yikes.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah, I feel like this is most interesting HOH outcome just because I think otherwise, like we could have had a really, quote unquote, easy week and had them be like, look, let's just keep crossovers. We're strong. And then let's get out Taylor so that we can bring our alliance to the end or whatever. And then and then we'll duke it out. And that would be way more boring for me. So this is honestly like best case scenario. I think that I don't really know what I want to happen.

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_09] Oh, gosh, I don't know. I think like now that we're in the endgame, like this is one of the first few or the only seasons where I've been like, yeah, I could see all of these people winning. And having like a good, strong argument for winning. Like there's nobody left who I'm like, if they win, that won't make any sense. Like that would be a trap travesty. Like this is every one of them has a good argument for their win. And so I do think that that's really exciting because we don't get we don't get that very often.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, I mean, I guess it's worth thinking about, OK, what is the best choice for each of them here at the final four? And I think for both Drew and Dee, it is evicting Devins. I do think that that is probably their best scenario there. You could maybe have made an argument that taking out Taylor might have made some sense. But even then, I think that it was already getting sketchy about the idea of potentially keeping Devins at final four.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_15] I think it's in both of their interest to take out Devins. And for Devins, obviously, if you think Drew is willing to take you to final two, you keep Drew. But it just doesn't seem like he is. Maybe he would be. Maybe if you take out Dee and Drew goes to final three with you and Taylor, Drew is too worried that he'll lose to Taylor. And he's willing to take the risk on Devins. Maybe that's true.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_15] But maybe it's not. Right. And I think that Drew is a more dangerous competitor in the final three than Dee is likely. But that's not even that much of a guarantee. Dee, we know, could also could do the same thing. I mean, she is, I think, more likely to take Taylor than Drew is, but a little bit less likely to win. So for Devins, it's really a toss up in my mind.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_15] And for Taylor, if she ends up winning the veto, what is Taylor's best move here? Because that's a little bit tricky. You know, ideally, she gets a bunch of credit for whatever happens here. But she ultimately has to give voting power to somebody. And and that's rough for Taylor.

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_15] Taylor, I actually wonder if the play is to give Devins that voting credit or the vote to give Devins the vote because she should be able to guarantee that whoever Devins doesn't vote out takes her to final two if they win. And she would also take them and they wouldn't have credit for having voted at the final four, voting Devins out at the final four.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_15] Because if she takes if she allows Devins to get voted out here, then Drew and Dee probably take each other at that point, which is not what Taylor wants. Right. So but she doesn't know that either, obviously. But in a weird way, it's it almost would make sense for her to you to have the veto to to to make sure that Devins is off the blocks that Devins chooses.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_17] It's almost like taking immunity necklace off and going to fire against Rick Devins to make sure he goes. It's like it's like doing the opposite sounds like you should do. But doing the opposite will make you help you win better.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_09] Wait, so, OK, you're saying that, like, if Devins is the one making the vote, let's say he votes out Drew or whatever. You're saying it's better for Taylor because Dee would take Taylor than that in that situation?

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_15] I think Dee would take Taylor over Devins, but Dee might take Drew over Taylor.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_09] So, OK, but what about like Drew? So Devins, Devins saves Drew. Don't we think Drew would take Devins because it's like he'd prefer to lose to Devins than to Taylor?

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_15] That is very possible. Right. Like that is the danger. But if but Drew knows he can't beat Devins, like that's been the whole thing. So but but then also it's like if, you know, I think that you can also argue that this just gives Drew like Devins another notch on his belt. Right.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_09] And shouldn't Taylor already be concerned about Devins herself? Because I feel like Devins has a lot of votes in the jury. A lot of people are kind of assuming like, well, Devins gets there. He's going to win.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_15] That's the thing. It's it's that like. Like, OK, because I know this sounds and it's probably going to get clipped by, oh, Taryn thinks that Taylor she but like I'm thinking about this, first of all, in the moment. But second, like it seems counterproductive, but in the world where Devins is evicted, Taylor goes to final three with D and Drew who are promising each other they're going to take each other. If that if that holds and it might hold even more so now that she's won this final four HOH.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_15] And if she were to win final four veto as well, which is the situation we're talking about.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_08] Right.

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_15] Then she will seem even more of a jury threat than before. And I think encourage D and Drew to stick to their deal even more. Then she's in a must win scenario against D and Drew, which admittedly is a better win scenario than if Devins is there theoretically. Maybe. And then she takes one of them. Maybe she maybe she wins the game. If she. Keeps Devins with the final four veto.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_15] Devins chooses to evict either D or Drew. They go to the final three. Both D and Drew have spoken plenty about how they know they can't take Devins. So now you have a very real chance that D or Drew, if they win the final three HOH, they will take you to the final two and you at least have that spot. Or you yourself can win and evict Devins yourself at the final three to take one of them, giving you an even better resume and even better shot at beating one of them.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_15] So, you know, there are pros and cons, but I do think that there's some validity to this idea that I came up with off the top of my head.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_09] I feel like I feel like in Taylor's situation, her best move, it would be to make sure that D stays this week, because I feel like D is the only one who like would be cutthroat enough to be like, I'm betraying my alliance with no problem. And the others, I feel like there'd be like a back and forth of like, ah, do I take D? Do I take like if they have the opportunity to take Taylor to take D like Devins or Drew as the opportunity?

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_09] I feel like he might be like, I just got to stay true. You know, like I could see a situation where they do that, whereas D, I'd be like, yeah, no, she doesn't care. She'll take whoever she thinks she can win.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah, I mean, I think. Oh, go ahead. A very hard. Sorry. Hard for Devins to stand up there and tell D to get step into her fat for her to her face, to be quite honest, especially when he thinks that and rightfully so that he has a lot of win equity.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_17] He thinks he can be anybody like anybody, then I think he would actually want to take his friend. And I don't know. I think Devins is sentimental like that. So I think my personal thought, sticking my planting my flag, I think if Devins wins final four veto or is given the choice for the veto for Taylor or whatever the situation is, I think we say bye to Drew here.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_15] I think that is the more likely outcome for Devins with his vote, which I do think is still the better outcome for Taylor as well, because I do think, like I said, I think D is more likely to take Taylor than Drew is. And I still think that Taylor is very live against D, although I think that Yash is like a very key vote and I'm not sure that she has him at the moment.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_15] I think winning this final four HOH is great because I think that comps are largely what Yash respects. But what if D is the one that gets to cut Devins at the final three to take Taylor? You know, that's a rough one. So, I mean, end of the day, I do think that there's a very real chance Taylor just needs to win the comps.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_15] And in that case, trying to get Devins out is probably the better option. Although, again, Drew is, I think, just as potentially capable of winning the final three HOH as Devins is. But I would give Devins an edge there. So, you know, again, maybe that does make me lean more toward just get Devins out. He's too much the front runner.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_15] He's too much of a comp threat, even if it does then allow Drew or D, whichever one of them does it, to get the credit for taking Devins out. As long as you won this veto, I think you still get some.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. And let me just say, I can see Devins cutting, but I don't think I can see him cutting her here at four.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_15] I think so, too. I think that Devins is not. I think he's not going to feel. I mean, the thing is, I think Drew was going to drill it into Devins's head that D and Taylor were going to take each other. And that he's going to take Devins. And I think there's a chance that could work. If Drew is effective enough, that could work. But yeah, I don't know if he has it in him to stand up there and evict her at final four.

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_15] Instead of, I think he absolutely would at final three. Final four. You know, final four opens the door for him to be wrong. Yeah. And for them both to lose. Right? So.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_17] Exactly. Exactly.

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_09] That's so tough. I don't know. There's like so many ways that this can go. And I feel like it's the same way with the double eviction, which I was going to ask about something with the double eviction. And I know I keep going back to it, but I haven't gotten a chance to talk about it. So do we think maybe the better move for Melody would have been. For the renom to put Drew up as the renom because maybe it would have been better for her game moving forward if Drew was not in the house.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_09] Like even if it meant Drew leaving. Because eventually that ended up being her quote unquote downfall was like, oh, the two of them are in lockstep. We got to at least get one. And so like that's why she got evicted recently. Whereas like in a scenario where she's alone and Drew's gone, I feel like people would view her as a good person to take to the end because she doesn't really have any like.

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_09] Like she doesn't have a record of winning aside from the double eviction and people don't really see her as like deserving quote unquote of a win.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_15] I think so there's I think two things to address there. One is. I think in hindsight, we can all agree that Melody's choice turned out poorly. I think that if Melody had chosen a different outcome, whether it was Taylor or Drew as the renom, she would probably not be evicted at the final five. That doesn't necessarily mean that it was the wrong choice.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_09] I think she made the right choice in the moment. I think now that we know, like I'm just wondering, like if maybe it actually would have been better for her. But I think I think these arguments about like Melody did it wrong. Like, no, she did the double eviction exactly as she should have done.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_15] Because, yeah, I think Drew wins. Ultimately. Yeah. If Drew wins that final five HOH, then she's safe through the final five. If Drew doesn't win that veto, she's safe through the final five. It took some specific outcomes to get her out of the final five. But those specific outcomes did happen. So the question then is, OK, well, what would have happened had she nominated Drew? Well, she likely would have survived. You know, it was it would have been either Yash or Devins that won the HOH and then probably Yash or Devins that won the veto.

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_15] And in either scenario, there was a backup target in D or Taylor and Melody likely would have been safe. But. She's not winning any comps at the final five and she used her own HOH. The one time she did have power to take out her closest ally, Drew. True. Like I just like how does she win the game at that point? How does she how does she get any votes at that point?

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_15] She would need to somehow pull out like back to back to back final four HOH veto and final three HOH wins. Like to I think give any amount of credence to the game that she played.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_09] Then she'd be playing for second place, I think. But I think she would have gotten further. Like, I think you probably would have gotten second place.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_15] Perhaps you could say. And this was an at the time. This was argued even by me, like Taylor might have been the right call here as the renom, because if Drew does follow through and votes out D, then it still looks like she had a successful HOH train. It all worked out. She still doesn't get evicted here at the final five because Yash is still in the game with Taylor.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_15] So, uh, even if again, if Devin's or Yash win, uh, even if say Yash wins, I think that Drew would be evicted over her and Devin's would be evicted over her. Uh, if Devin's wins, Yash would be evicted over her or Drew or Taylor would be evicted over her. So, uh, so she probably survives final five, having still made an effective move of taking out D and she's still in it and potentially live.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_15] So, like, I think that we can largely agree the right move was Taylor with hindsight. The issue is that it had such a significant downside. If Drew had voted out Taylor, her HOH looks like a disaster still. And she now is still potentially evicted at the final five, depending on, like, what happens.

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_15] Well, maybe not if it's Yash or Drew and then D or Devin's, but, uh, but it still looks like a disaster and it looks like, you know, it's a, it's just a very bad outcome for her.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_17] But, but, but can I say though, if thou and Devin still wins that HOH, even if he puts up Taylor and Yash instead of Drew and Melody, there's a great chance that Yash wins that veto. But at that point, I don't think Devin's puts up Drew after losing D. I think he puts Melody up and we end up at the same spot. Right.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. That's actually true. Yeah.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah.

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_15] I mean, maybe he's, maybe he's mad at Drew for voting out D, but I think he's still, he needs somebody. Right. So, um, yeah. So yeah, I think that's right, actually. So yeah, even in the, even in the putting up Taylor spot, you're still in a rough spot. So yeah.

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, ultimately.

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Just, just all bad. Uh, she chose the one that got her evicted the soonest, very likely, but to be fair, also gave her the highest chances of actually somehow pulling out a win, which were, which was a long shot to begin with, in my opinion. So sorry for the, all the scenarios here, but, uh, but you know, I love this stuff.

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_15] One thing I was thinking of, by the way, when I was talking through like all of the things that happened since the last time we talked and how, uh, you know, since the last time we talked, um, you know, uh, like Drew had saved himself with the veto win. And then, uh, Devin saved himself with his veto win. And then Drew saved himself again with the veto win.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_15] I was thinking, I was looking back and I was like, when is the last time that the person who would have been voted out that week didn't save themselves with either a veto or a blockbuster? And I was going back and I was like, well, last week, Drew would have gone home if not for the veto. Week before that, Devin's would have gone home if not for the veto. Week before that, Drew would have gone home if not for the veto. Week before that, Devin's would have gone home without the blockbuster. Week before that, Devin's would have gone home without the blockbuster.

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_15] Week before that, Drew would have gone home without the blockbuster. Week before that, it was Yash's HOH. where D might have gone home, but not for the diamond power of veto, which then led to Kamu who did not save himself. So kind of a weird one, but also the target was saved with a veto of some sort. The week before that.

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_08] Oh my God.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_15] You could argue that Haley saved herself with the blockbuster win. And then the week before that.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_08] Oh my gosh.

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_15] Argue that Taylor potentially was the target, saved herself with a veto win. Drew, who was also the other target, saved himself with a blockbuster, but the vote had flipped before that happened. So arguably Lyric might've left that week no matter what. And so Lyric might be the last person who wasn't saved.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_09] It makes for an exciting season. That's for sure. The target never goes home.

[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_17] It makes for a lot of people who've overstayed their welcome.

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_15] Truly. Well, maybe that too. This is really like quite, quite interesting in terms of like how the season has played out. And you'll notice like most of those names, like Drew saved himself with a blockbuster, a veto, a veto, and arguably, you know, that other blockbuster at least three times. Devons have saved, has saved himself with a blockbuster or a veto at least three times, which means for three,

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_15] for six, six eviction cycles of this entire season, one of Drew or Devons were scheduled to be voted out and they saved themselves. Six of the times that we've gone to eviction, these two men were both scheduled to die. I hate that. And pulled out a win.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_17] That's so crazy. I hate that. If you have to win a comp to stay, it just, for me, that's not how I, I don't like that at that outcome. It's, you know, well, that's just me. Like work your social capital, you know?

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Well, uh, I found it quite interesting.

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_06] May I present to you the award winning staff of the Toledo truth teller.

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_04] Slap me,

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_06] let's jar something loose.

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_11] Ay yes. I like that.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04] The certified fresh series returns.

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_13] Your boss. You always like this or is this just an, oh no, this is mad.

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_07] Oysters, everybody.

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_10] There's a certain satisfaction when you work with someone.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_05] Maybe we could be a family.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_12] You sadistic pig.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_05] The paper. New season streaming September 9th only on Peacock.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_12] This show gives me a reason to laugh.

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_15] So, okay. We're here at the final four. We've talked through the different scenarios. Is there anything else we should talk about before we get into some survey results?

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_09] No. I talked about my theory with the double eviction, but that's, that's all I have.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_15] All right. Well, let's get into the survey results then. Actually, I, I should have, uh, I wanted to make sure I, I gave some extra time for the second survey. Uh, so that, because, so here's what happened. I put out the first survey after it was revealed that melody had been evicted. Um, and, uh, because I didn't know whether or not we'd get HOH results in time for the podcast. I was like, I got to get this survey out as late as it was. Um,

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_15] so we have, uh, a bunch of results from that survey. Then we found out, okay, we actually do know the HOH results. Taylor has won this. So I, I decided why not just throw out another survey, uh, with the new HOH results, new ratings. And then, you know, I don't want your vote if you voted in the first one to go to waste. So I'll, I'll still say what the original rating was prior to the HOH. Uh,

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_15] but then we will also be able to discuss the latest survey results from, uh, the, uh, from the, the, the H with, from the H rates results. Uh, so I'm currently just updating the latest. Uh, we actually, we got to nearly the same amount of votes in the first and second survey. So, uh, we're not actually that far behind here. Okay.

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_17] Oh, well, good. Everybody knew the assignment.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_15] All right. So let's talk about the favorite players. Here they are. Uh, now again, three people are gone. The previous week's results are in the order of D Devin's drew Taylor. Uh, but in reality, Yash was forced with, was fourth place last week. Barrett and Mellie were both evicted in sixth and seventh respectively.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_15] Uh, so who do we think has come out on top this week?

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_08] Oh my God. I don't know. Um, maybe dealer.

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_15] It is. D. Stays number one from last week. Who's second.

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_09] I kind of think it's Devin's then Taylor than drew. That's kind of what I'm feeling, but it's possible. It's something different.

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_15] Devin's Taylor. Drew says, Melissa, Mari.

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_17] Uh, Taylor, Devin's drew.

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_15] Taylor. Devins. Yeah. Drew. Yeah. There's your ranking at the final four. It is D in first place. That there's Taylor in second place. Devins in third drew and fourth. So Devins and drew both fell while Taylor rose.

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_09] Now that was crazy for D to go down to zero, to the bottom and then go back to number one. Like that. I don't think we've ever seen that stuff. I literally don't think we've ever seen, like she started at the top and went to the bottom, then up to the top again. Like you never see that. It's like, if someone loses you, they lose the fans and that's it. Like you don't see this sort of recovery to number one.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. I definitely think that the, the week that she, cause that's week eight, right? When she was on the block. And I think people didn't really necessarily like how she acted about being on the block, but the way that she survived that block was actually very impressive. Yeah. Crazy.

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Um, now here's something interesting. The survey that took place before Taylor's HOH win was different.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_02] Oh,

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_15] it was drew. Uh, sorry. D number one. Devins was second place. Drew was third place. And Taylor was last. Taylor's HOH win catapulted her from last place to second place. It dramatically altered this list.

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_09] That's wild. I mean, it makes sense. Cause it's like, you feel like, I don't know. Like my thought with Taylor was kind of like, well, there's nothing really more for her to do. That probably will just like kick her out. Like I just, that I just felt like unless she wins something, she's going to struggle. And now she won something and it's like, okay, now let's see what's happening here. It's very, it makes it way more exciting.

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. Her winning again, it's putting us in a, a much favorable scenario where again, D devins and drew have to turn on each other. So yeah, we like that. We, we like that. Yeah.

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_15] Yes. Now, uh, you can see here, this is the, uh, the score spread, uh, with D out in front by a decent margin. She was out in front, uh, anyway. So D had, uh, I will say a more commanding lead in the first survey. Um, then Taylor just ahead of devins, um, who is mostly unchanged in terms of score. Uh, and then, uh,

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_15] drew in last place here by a decent margin.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_09] It makes sense. I feel like, um, I was a bit disappointed in drew this week because I feel like he, he should have done more to find a way to keep melody. And I know that, and especially when D is kind of like opening up that door to him, like he should have taken it, even if it's like, okay, yeah, it's not going to happen. I do feel like taking a big swing or doing something like would have been fun and exciting this week. And instead it's kind of just like, yeah, I guess it's her time to go. All right.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_09] I'm willing to like ride with you guys to the end, which seems just like, just so dull. Like I just want some, something. So it would have been way more exciting if he at least tried something. And I just feel like I was very, um, very disappointed in him this week.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. It is worth noting, uh, because this, this, this chart is, is relative. Um, so it's trying to find the like separation in them. Uh, but their scores are actually quite close. Yeah. I mean,

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_09] it's 2.5 to 2.7. Like that's not that crazy.

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_15] It's a 2.28 to 2.77. Uh, and like, so for instance, last week, the scores, you know, were a 3.5 to a 4.6 was the total spread. The week before that, it was a two point spread the week before that it was nearly a three point spread. So like, it's still, it's a pretty close, uh, chart here ultimately, which is why I'm sure Taylor was able to, in just the course of an afternoon catapult over two players.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_15] Cause they were already so close that I think the HOH win was enough to, uh, to change the outcome here.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_17] Makes sense.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_15] So some interesting charts, uh, Taylor with some ups and downs D certainly with some dramatic, uh, ups and downs. Devon has still remained relatively consistent, uh, though still kind of like a consistent drop overall. Uh, and then drew was just, has faced quite a, uh, fall from grace in general. Um, but, uh, but again, these ends, the ends of these charts are a little misleading because it's not like drew is

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_15] necessarily the least favorite of everyone. He's just one of four players left. Left. All right. Let's go through some questions, shall we?

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. Yes.

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_15] So here we go. We're going to rate the episodes this week. Um, and, uh, the episodes have been at a 5.8 the last couple of weeks. Historically at this point in the season, they don't go very well. The episodes are not, uh, very good except for apparently big brother 21. Who knew?

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_02] Weird.

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_15] Uh, but the average for a week, uh, 11, um, is a 4.9. Last two weeks have been a 5.8. This week, a 6.1. The episodes are actually a bit higher. Interesting.

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_09] Even with that cliffhanger.

[00:44:24] [SPEAKER_17] Hmm.

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_09] Well, I think the double eviction probably helped because that was fun and exciting. I would probably rate it pretty high. So that's true. I get it.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Uh, this will mark the second highest week 11 episode rating since we started doing this since, uh, since big brother 21.

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_09] It'd be interesting to see which of these like are double evictions. Like if there's a trend of like double evictions being rated pretty high, like, I wonder if that.

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_15] Well, that's, that's the thing. I think this was, this was this roughly the same time as the big brother 21 double eviction, I would imagine. Um, so that could have been it. Uh, and this was in, which is not to say the big brother 21 double eviction was like amazing, but, uh, but it was, you know, Tommy and Christie finally, finally went out. Like they, they would have been two of the people running.

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_09] I think we also need to think about the fact that Rob was on unlocked.

[00:45:24] Yeah.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_02] True.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_09] So maybe a bit of bias this week, everybody.

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_15] Um, all right. How about the feeds though? How were the feeds this week? Now this is an even worse historical average for feeds. Um, again, big brother 21, the highest here in week 11 at a 6.1, but the past couple of weeks in big brother 28 have been pretty good. It's 6.8 and then last week at 6.3. So this week, a 5.6. So it was a bit of a drop, uh,

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_15] which I think is, is pretty fair. I think that here's the thing. I think that the strategic scenarios are interesting, but the day to day on the feeds is quite dull. Agreed.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_09] There's not that many people. There's not that much to, to really do or say. And even if there was like, you know, it's obviously going to be a lot more exciting when there's more people, because then there's going to be more strategic conversations happening versus like when there's four people, even if every single person has a strategy conversation, it's just not going to be that much. So for someone like me who really likes to watch for strategy, like it's not going to do it for me to have four people talking to each other. So I think, uh, yeah,

[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_09] it makes sense.

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's still pretty high in comparison to the average, a full point higher than the average. So, uh, doing pretty well there, but that leads us to the season as a whole, which has had some ups and downs, um, but is currently sitting at a 6.6, which is just above the average for week 10, heading into week 11, a 6.7.

[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_08] Oh, keeps climbing. Okay.

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. People are high on it. Yeah. This is a good in game scenario here. Um, so I'm not surprised. And, and like Melissa said, I think everybody is, you know, they're, they're okay with any of these people winning at this point. Everybody has their faves and their favorites and who their root and the interests are. So yeah, this, this isn't bad.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. This is the third highest season rating behind big brother, 24 and big brother, 26, uh, at this point, um, again, take it with a grain of salt. I think most people will tell you big brother, 27 was probably a better season at this point, but the season as a whole rating tends to like be relative to itself. Um, and you know, big brother, 27 had, uh, the white locust, um,

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_15] which really tanked the entire scale for that season.

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_09] And then it's hard to bring it back up after that. I feel like it's like, once you have such a bad moment, it's hard to be like, okay, now I'm fine with it. Like you still want to show like, I'm still upset about this, but it's a little better.

[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Okay. Then we have HOH rains. There are a few of them here. So hopefully this, uh, this works properly, but theoretically, I actually have no idea who's first. First up. Well, I'm just going to reveal it. Devins is HOH rain, uh, at the final five was received a 5.7, uh,

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_15] actually the same as Chelsea's HOH rain at the, I assume final five or something along those lines ish. Oh my God.

[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah.

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_15] Uh, and then melodies was a 6.3. So the audience, despite the outcome, still pretty high on melodies HOH. Uh, she basically did as much as she could, I think is kind of the idea here. So fair enough.

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_17] Oh my God. And looking at that MJ score, score, I still can't believe MJ got rid of Leah on that.

[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_15] I can't believe it's a 3.5. That's way too high. Or maybe, wait, hold on. Her previous one was a 1.7. Oh no, it's a 1.7. Okay.

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_16] That makes more sense. That makes more sense. That was crazy. Oh, ridiculous. I need to like,

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_15] I need to be able to like click on them and give a pop up of like, what was happening?

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_09] Oh my God. Can you imagine like for future podcasts too, to be able to be like, wait, put that in for next year.

[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_17] And that Vince 2.0, that that's when Keanu went out. People didn't like when Keanu went out.

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_15] Um, Vince though, that must've been when Lauren went out. Surely.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_16] Oh, that was part of a double.

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_15] The 4.4 has to be when Keanu goes out. Um,

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_08] okay.

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_15] In week 11.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_08] I don't remember. Oh my God.

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_15] I think the 2.0 has to be the Lauren eviction. Um, Oh yeah. Yeah. I think so. I think so. Because, uh, Yash's HOH is, is solo here in week 10, despite it being part of the double eviction, the week 11 is squeezing in, you know, a couple of, uh, of extras here. So yeah, I think the 2.0 was him taking out Lauren, which is only slightly better than MJ taking out. Leah. And then 4.4 was when he took out Keanu, which was a much more understandable decision. I think overall,

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_15] though he still handled it quite poorly. After the double.

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_17] Okay. That makes sense. Okay. Okay. Oh Lord.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_15] Okay. We can also go back and look at some retrospective ratings or at least one retrospective rating. Yash's HOH in hindsight, a 4.3, which is still better than Vince and MJ's to be fair.

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah.

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_15] To Yash.

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_17] I mean, he had no choice. Yash's HOH was, was determined to what? Three weeks prior. So yeah,

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_16] he couldn't do anything about it.

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_09] But I think he shouldn't have won HOH. Then maybe that's why the rating is so low.

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_06] May I present to you the award-winning staff of the Toledo Truth Teller. Slap me. Let's jostle something loose.

[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_11] Ay, yes! I like that.

[00:52:08] [SPEAKER_04] The certified fresh series returns.

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_13] Your boss. You always like this? Or is this just an, oh no, this is Ned.

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_07] Oysters, everybody!

[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_10] There's a certain satisfaction when you work with someone.

[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_05] Maybe we could be a family.

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_12] You sadistic pig!

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_05] The Paper. New season streaming September 9th, only on Peacock.

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_12] This show gives me a reason to live.

[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_15] All right, then we have rate production on how well they are running the show. Let's see, what decisions, I mean, they turned the feeds on for Tiny HOH. That was nice.

[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_09] That was cool, yeah. That was amazing, yeah. Yeah. Maybe the idea of this whole, like, Pharaoh thing is gonna be like, but... Yeah,

[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_15] giving Devin's 10K for no reason is kind of lame. Just randomly, yeah. No, it's not lame. It's... I want them to give their contestants more money. It's just, it's only lame because the bribe was only 5K.

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_08] Right.

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_15] So you had 10K sitting there?

[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. And then the feeds switched back on to let us know that Melody was gone for a second there and came off today. That's good.

[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_15] They shut the feeds down after turning them on for Tiny HOH without telling us who won. But then they did come back on and they zoomed in on Devin's face. All right, what does the audience think?

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_09] Wait, M. Elliot in the chat says they put Rob Sestranino on BB Unlocked.

[00:53:33] [SPEAKER_15] They did.

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_09] That's another good decision.

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_15] Well, audience says 4.6.

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_09] Audience says, we don't care about Rob.

[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_15] Listen, he's still better than any rating they got last season. Yeah. True. All right. Then we have the America's Player Vote. It is now open. Uh-oh.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_08] Oh, wow.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_15] So we are now going to see what the audience is thinking for America's Favorite. You guys have no idea?

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_09] Well, I don't know about our audience. I think, like, I know my mom is, like, loving Devin's and Dee.

[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_08] Devin's, yeah. So, like,

[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_09] I think Devin's and Dee, probably Devin's, honestly, is, like, my mom does not like Yash at all. And I was like, why? He's great. Why? She does not like him. So, I have a feeling that, like, I told her, I was like, Yash is probably going to be, like, in the top for America's Favorite Player. And she was like, no, no way. So, like, I don't know, but I feel like the casual audience might not be feeling Yash.

[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_09] And I think they're still on board with the icons. Not necessarily Angela. No offense, Angela. But I think that, like, Devin's and Dee still have, like, a great chance for it.

[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_12] Yeah.

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_09] She also doesn't like Barrett either. So, she's very disappointed in Barrett for, like, going against the crossovers. So, and I was like, are you kidding me? That was amazing. So, the casuals are watching a completely different show.

[00:55:10] [SPEAKER_17] Casuals have Devin. I think we might like Yash. People are saying Drew. I don't know.

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah, I feel like, like, like, our survey people will probably say Yash.

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_15] Well, they did put Drew in last place this week. Um, but I have looked at these results because I was testing to make sure that I got the survey. Wow.

[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_09] Make it make sense, everybody.

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_15] Now, listen, it's 20%. It's not a huge majority by any means. But it's so funny

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_09] to see everybody put him in the last place for favorite in the house. And then 20 women winning America's favorite. That's so funny.

[00:55:56] [SPEAKER_17] I don't get it. I'm voting for Jason. I know my votes are wasted, but at least I'm, I'm sticking, I'm just going to vote for Jason. I don't, sure. If you want to vote for Drew, sure.

[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_09] I have not had a favorite this season. But I think if I were to vote, I probably would vote. I probably would vote D because if she doesn't win, I'll be very upset that like that sort of behavior maybe is not getting rewarded. And that's the kind of play I want to see. So like, I'd want to have her win it or honestly, maybe Barrett because I didn't get a chance to say this while he was on the show, but I absolutely loved his DRs. Like, I know people were kind of critiquing him of being like, well, why are you being so sassy in the DR?

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_09] I loved it. I felt like I like, I loved the vibe that he was giving in the DR when he was frustrated with the crossovers and when he was just like frustrated with the vets. It just, it was great. So, you know, I'd probably vote for one of them. I like Devin's vibe like on the show when he does like silly things, but, or like silly strategy things where it's like when they were talking about him and he didn't actually know what they said, but he like used it to like get more information. I felt like that was great.

[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_09] And I, you know, I'm trying to think if there's anybody else that I would like really go for. I mean, everybody on the season, I've appreciated what they've given and so there's nobody that I would be upset if they like won it, but that's probably who I would go for.

[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_17] I can definitely tell you this is not going to be like the landslide. Oh, right.

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_17] You, one person, one single handedly, this is going to come down to the scattered voting and normally when that happens, that means it's going to come down to the casuals.

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, that's exactly what this is telling me. I mean, you know, Drew is technically on top. He's green on the chart because he's ahead by 3%, but like it's 3%. Drew is at 20%. Yasha at 17%. Devin's at 16%. Mallory's at 9%. Only 11% off of first place. Taylor's at 8%. Jason's at 8%. Dee's at 7%.

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_15] These votes are very split. It's spread. and that tells me that they're all meaningless.

[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_08] Yeah.

[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_15] Um, it just, it just doesn't work that way. Uh, if the internet is not like in lockstep behind a person, they don't usually have much say here. Uh, and we have seen all season long that the internet is far from lockstep behind any one person. It has been a war zone out there. So, uh, this result does not surprise me.

[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_09] if Devin's is already in the top three here with our people and he's got the casuals like at least like pretty high up. I mean, I pretty, I think the casuals are voting for Devin's number one, but I obviously, I don't own the casual market. I don't know who exactly it is, but that's just the vibe I'm getting. If we, if people, if our people like super fans or whatever are voting for Devin's and the casuals are voting for Devin's, I just could see Devin's rising to the top.

[00:59:19] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. I, listen, I'm not going to pretend to know what the casual audience is thinking. Um, I would guess that the casual audience likely has the same top three. Uh, but I don't know if they're in in the same order by, by any measure. Um, so, uh, so we'll see. The survivor fans obviously could, could push Devin's up even if he's a little bit behind, but,

[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_15] but who knows? Who knows? And it could also still change based on the outcome of what's happening over the next couple of days or, or the next week or so. Uh, so interesting stuff. Finally, who do you want to be evicted at the final four? I took Taylor out of this equation. Um, originally, I can tell you that, uh, uh, the,

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_15] she was not the highest vote getter. She was the second highest vote getter, uh, in the original poll. Um, so, this results, actually, I guess, do you guys have a preference? I think you've already answered this, actually. Mario,

[01:00:35] [SPEAKER_09] I probably want Drew to go because I think that I would want like, based, basically, like, if I have to pick a winner, like, I would want D or Devens to win over Drew because I don't really like the way Drew has played. I think that Drew hasn't made any big, smart moves. I think he's kind of just followed along with what they've told him to do and then periodically maybe,

[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_09] like, seemed like he was going to do something good and then didn't and didn't protect the allies that he should have been protecting and he didn't take any big swings and I don't really want to see that sort of, like, uh, behavior, not behavior, but, like, gameplay where you just kind of, like, hook your wagon onto the bigger fish and just kind of glide onto the end. Like, I don't want to see that sort of like, gameplay rewarded. So, I don't really want to see a Drew win if I'm being

[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_09] completely honest. But, if Drew gets to the end and is able to pull off a win, like, obviously he did something right and I think he has arguments for why he should win. But, I think that it would be less good for the show if he won.

[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_15] Well, the audience Yeah. Oh,

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_17] I was just going to say, I, I, just, my, more so with Drew it's just like, the more lucky than good. Literally tripping into very good situations kind of. So, but yeah, that's just me. I want to hear about it. Yeah, let's go!

[01:02:17] [SPEAKER_09] Also, like, I'll say that, like, I'm very disappointed that I'm giving that answer because, like, at the beginning of the season, Drew was my favorite and I was, like, very excited to see what he would do and, like, where he would go and I thought he was making really smart moves and I do think in the beginning it makes a lot of sense to, like, join in the crossovers and be that key piece in there, but then also make your relationships elsewhere, which is exactly what he was doing. But then I felt like, instead of taking those key pieces outside of the crossovers

[01:02:46] [SPEAKER_09] to make a big move or to do something that would put you in a better position, he just stuck with the crossovers and kind of let them take out his allies one by one. And the only reason he's still here is not because Drew was so good, it's because he would, like, win random competitions that kept him in the game. And yes, okay, yes, competitions are important, blah, blah, blah, but from my perspective as a person who's watching not for competitions and is watching for, like,

[01:03:16] [SPEAKER_09] the D-style strategy where you keep yourself safe, when you're not winning anything, I think that that's more exciting to me and that's more the kind of gameplay I want to watch and I want to see rewarded and I want to see winning. And so just having someone who isn't really making good strategic decisions throughout the game, but it happens to be winning when he needs to win competitions, like, that's not as exciting for me and that's not something I really want to see winning. While at the same time, like, if he does win, I would not, I would not be like,

[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_09] oh my God, he doesn't deserve this win at all, he's terrible because I do think that, like, that proves something right there, that he has reason to win and that he has got himself this far and all that sort of stuff. I'm just talking about, like, in terms of what I want to see win, what I want to see rewarded.

[01:04:01] [SPEAKER_15] how wild would it be if Drew won the season and at one point he literally or at least figuratively flipped a coin at a blockbuster competition between two options, got the right answer, stayed because of it, after all the coin talk.

[01:04:19] [SPEAKER_17] Oh my God, yeah. That'd be so insane. And that's kind of the funny thing about Drew too, is like, and then you can't even say, like, oh, he rode the tail of the crossovers, because on at least two separate crossovers wanted him out as well. So I think that's the biggest, that's where we're saying kind of like he really needed those comps versus like a Devon's where Devon's alliance had his

[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_17] back and it was like the outer people that were trying to get him gone. And it's because of Devon's big, well, I know, it's because of Devon's big social

[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_02] moves.

[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_17] It's because of his big social moves that he's such a, you know, a big target. I mean, again, yeah, like we're splitting hairs here. You're asking me what my thoughts are between these three people who I want to go home. And I'm sorry, I'm going to say Drew, because I really want to see Dee in the final two. Out of these three people, I would really want to see Dee in the final two, because I want her to explain how she didn't need to win comps to stay.

[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_17] Right. Because I again, I have swung full circle back around on her because I cannot believe she had survived the block twice on eviction night when I thought that it should have been like she should have gone. And I like, I like Devon's gameplay. And so if this is the three I got to pick out of, then yeah, I'm going to say I want Drew gone.

[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_09] Right, exactly. And that's the thing is like we said in the beginning that these people all have arguments as to why they should win. And they do. But I'm, we're literally just trying to say who we want to stay, who we want to go. And like in this situation, I would prefer that players like Dee and Devon's and the way that they have played the game, that is more impressive to me than what Drew has, has been doing. And I think people saying, well, you can make the same

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_09] argument for no, I don't think you can. Because I'm not going to say Taylor is like some amazing strategist, but she's been playing from the bottom since the beginning. And she's still here.

[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_02] And so she

[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_09] didn't have the coattails to ride. She didn't have the easy breezy time that Drew had half the time. Like she has been struggling this entire game and maybe she hasn't made a bunch of huge moves or anything like that. But when has she gotten the opportunity to do that? Where I feel like Drew has been given the opportunity to make big moves and has chosen the lame move I just feel like it's not as exciting to me. Now I think that if on the other hand if Drew and Barrett had gone

[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_09] together to be like we need to take out the icons and then it didn't work out and now Drew is still here, that's one thing. But Drew was just like I'm not even going to I don't even want to go against them. He didn't even want to go against them this entire time. And to me that's not fun gameplay to watch. And sure it's gotten him to this place. But that's the whole point for me. I don't want to see somebody who's just been with the icons the entire time and never tried to take his own shot and put his own game in his own hands

[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_09] the entire game win because then someone will look at that and say okay that's what I should do. I'm just going to ride the coattails of this big group alliance and it will just get me to the end and all I have to do is win comps and that's all that matters. And that's not the kind of thing I want to see.

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_15] Well, Melissa and Mari, you both have opinions about this and I'm taking it personally. You know what? I'm taking it very personally. I don't like your opinions and therefore you guys are very wrong.

[01:08:09] [SPEAKER_08] Clearly.

[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_15] And there's actually something wrong with you and the entire way you approach everything in your life.

[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. And we're losers, right? I think that's all facts. Yeah. Facts are facts.

[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_15] They don't care about your feelings or opinions. How does the audience feel? Devons, 44% of the audience want Devons out.

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_16] 32% want

[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_15] Taylor out. And 24% want D out. So, quite interesting. It looks as though almost everyone who said they wanted not almost everyone, most of the people so original the original poll had Devons at 28%, Taylor at

[01:09:09] [SPEAKER_15] 27%, Drew at 26%, and D at like 17%, and I'm rounding, so it might not add up completely, but like they were basically separated by 1% each with D falling behind. most of the people who originally voted Taylor switched to Devons, and some of them switched to Drew, some of them switched to D, but Devons ultimately much further out ahead

[01:09:39] [SPEAKER_15] here than the original poll.

[01:09:44] [SPEAKER_17] that's hilarious. It was even, like everybody was even, they said we want them all out, that's hilarious. Yes,

[01:09:55] [SPEAKER_15] I'm telling you, this season has been wild with this stuff.

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_05] The Paper. New season streaming September 9th only on Peacock.

[01:11:00] [SPEAKER_12] This show gives me a reason to laugh.

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_15] Alright, let's go to the Stockwatch. This is the portion of the podcast where we rate the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they are doing in the game. And there are only four players to rate because three of them have been evicted since we last spoke. If you are holding any shares of those people because you play along in the game at realitystockwatch.com then you lost all of that money. Sorry.

[01:11:35] [SPEAKER_15] We'll see if you can gain any money here as we go through these final four players. We'll start with D. Okay. So let me first run through what's happened since the initial thing. Barrett leaving good for D. Melody winning HOH putting up her and Devin's bad for D. Devin's winning veto bad

[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_15] for D. She's in the line of she's in the crossfires. Yash going up Drew voting to keep D. Great for D. Good job D. Devin's wins HOH of final five. Good for D. She's planning to take out Drew. It initially seemed like she might not have been so I was concerned. Then she decided yes I would have done that if he had not won the veto. He wins the veto bad for D. She turns it into a good for D by

[01:12:34] [SPEAKER_15] pulling Drew over to her over Devin's at least potentially. We don't know for sure that that will land. Now of D and then Taylor wins HOH bad for D. Between Drew, Devin's, and D I think that D is the safest. I think that it is more likely that Devin's evicts Drew over D than him evicting D

[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_15] over Drew. And I think it is at least a coin flip whether or not Drew evicts D over Devin's or Devin's over D. If not more so considering what he said last night to Melody. He has no reason to lie to Melody last night. He just might change his mind. Or he might think it's too early to cut Devin's. But either way, I think it is more likely than she herself can win. Not to mention the fact that if Taylor wins, I think that D

[01:13:33] [SPEAKER_15] is maybe Taylor gives the vote to Drew. I have no idea who Taylor gives the vote to, quite frankly. But if Taylor wins, I don't think she will want D gone. And so she might give the vote to D or she might give the vote to somebody who's promising they won't take D out. So either way, I think she is the safest of the three who are vulnerable this week. She's played, I think, very well in what she's been doing.

[01:14:02] [SPEAKER_15] She won over Melody before she left. She's seemingly won over Drew. She's making as many deals as she can with Taylor. She still has Devin seemingly locked in through Final Four into Final Three, but we'll see if that holds. I think she's just playing the best here at the Final Five into Four into potentially Three. Again, we don't know if it will hold. She is also still vulnerable. And despite the fact that she's playing

[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_15] the best, I don't feel comfortable if I'm D. I think there's still absolutely a chance that she gets evicted here or that she gets evicted in the Final Three or that she doesn't win a jury vote. There's a very real outcome where Devin wins this Final Four veto and the Final Three HOH, and she's just completely locked out of a win, period. So where does that leave her? I really, it's a really tough one. There's so

[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_15] much gameplay to evaluate over the last week on top of future prospects that are now so much more real than they have been before. I'm really, I'm struggling to figure out exactly where to place her because if she is lock safe, if that turns out to be true, then she will have deserved something I think much higher than what I might give her. But if she ends up evicted, then that would be ridiculous,

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_15] right? Like I couldn't, why would I give her something super super high if she ends up evicted the very same round? So ultimately I think something like a seven

[01:15:49] [SPEAKER_02] perhaps?

[01:15:52] [SPEAKER_15] I'm on, I'm on, I'm flying by the seat of my own pants here. I, I might have to adjust as I go based on what the other players get. I'm just, I'm very impressed with her gameplay. I think she is the safest. I think that she is very live to win, but she could easily get evicted. There are still plenty of bad final three outcomes and some bad final two outcomes. I think a seven makes some sense for me, but I'm,

[01:16:21] [SPEAKER_15] but I'm not locked in. Melissa, what are your thoughts?

[01:16:24] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah, no, this is difficult because I think if you asked me right before we found out that Taylor won HOH, like I would have rated her like a nine or 10 because I feel like it's like she was able to survive that double eviction when that would have been like, it would have made the most sense to have her go out in the double eviction. And thank goodness she didn't because I feel like it's so impressive to like, I would have loved to have seen her like on the block at the end of the week, but having time to

[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_09] talk with people and convince them to keep her and all that versus at a double eviction, it's so hard because it's just like so fast. You don't really have the opportunity to plead your case in any meaningful way. So I was very glad that she stayed, but I mean, she probably shouldn't have. I mean, they probably should have aggressive. She's just so good. And then obviously her work this week, you know, where she's talking with other people about trying to get other people to take her and trying

[01:17:24] [SPEAKER_09] to find another way to get there to the end if she doesn't win. I just feel like she's so good. But like we said, now she's in danger. There's a good chance she goes home this week, so it would be very hard to give her a super high score, but I just feel like I do need to reward the double eviction stuff. So I am going to give her an eight, but like that we'll see.

[01:17:52] [SPEAKER_17] I'm going to give her an eight as well, just because of the conversations that I'm seeing her have. Like I was seeing her have like right before we came on here. The fact that she is pulling she's been pulling in Drew so close for the last few weeks and really getting into his head about, you know, taking him away from Devin's on top of the alley oop that kind of like Melody gave her telling Drew, like you

[01:18:22] [SPEAKER_17] have to cut Devin's everybody thinks that you're Devin's pet and Melody telling Drew to take D, which we never thought would happen. I think D to me is the most socially competent out of the final four here. I think she really does, like Taryn said, have the mind Mel to like push her agenda into other people's heads and make them think that what she is

[01:18:51] [SPEAKER_17] doing is best for their game. so even if she might not be, I think at this point Drew and Devin's depending on what the final four veto is, we just naturally assume that they are the front runners for it. I do think they take each other here. I still, again, I might be eating my words, not chapstick, but I could be, I don't think, I really don't think Devin's will get rid of D

[01:19:21] [SPEAKER_17] here at final four. But again, like Taryn said, I'm really inching towards, I think Drew wants the Devin's move on his resume. I'm really inching towards that. So I agree. I think she's the safest in this scenario. So I'm content with my eight. If something happens, it happens because this has been such an unpredictable season.

[01:19:52] [SPEAKER_17] But I think she is doing really well. I think she has not taken her foot off the gas with working people, even in these past two weeks. Since she has been on the block, since she was surprised by Barrett, she has kept her foot on the pedal, and I really respect that.

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, man, it's a tough one. And I might be the one changing my rating here as I go, just because I'm thinking about what I want to give other players. But I'm not sure yet. I do want to see the audience who gave her a seven, which is interesting because in the original survey,

[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_15] they gave her an eight, which is actually higher than they gave her last week.

[01:20:50] [SPEAKER_09] sense because I would give her a higher rating. I would have given her a nine had Taylor not won HOH already because then I would be like, hey, there's still a chance she could win HOH, but you know, there's not.

[01:21:04] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Definitely not great that she, okay. Mari's face was frozen in a smile.

[01:21:15] [SPEAKER_08] She loves it.

[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_15] So interesting stuff from the feeds right now, from what I've been able to gather is that Taylor, I believe, is telling Devin's she's leaving him off the block. She's nominating Dee and Drew. Drew and that she wants Drew out. Now, I'm not watching

[01:21:48] [SPEAKER_15] the feeds. I'm only able to sort of like gather what I can from what's being posted. But it is certainly possible if she's telling Devin she wants Drew out, it doesn't necessarily mean that is true. We also know that the final four nominations ultimately don't matter. But what Mari, as I'm saying, Taylor has apparently told Devin she's leaving him off the block and that she wants Drew out if

[01:22:18] [SPEAKER_15] she can manage it.

[01:22:20] [SPEAKER_17] Interesting. That is so interesting. And let me just say, I think my internet connection is a Drew there. So you called it, you called it, Taylor's leaving Devin's off. That's interesting. I really thought Dee would have stayed off.

[01:22:37] [SPEAKER_15] Right. I mean, the thing is, again, nominations don't matter. So they

[01:22:42] [SPEAKER_17] don't. Yeah.

[01:22:43] [SPEAKER_15] It doesn't necessarily mean she's telling the truth, nor does she necessarily tell the truth about her intended target. If that is

[01:22:52] [SPEAKER_09] true, that's bad for Taylor. Like, I think that she could totally win against Drew.

[01:22:58] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Well, I mean, I think the reason to give this any credibility is that from what I've been able to tell, I think, because again, I'm not watching these myself, so we didn't take this with massive grain of salt, but from what I've been able to tell, Devin's the only person she's told a concrete plan to. So why specifically lie to one person and not tell anybody the true answer? So that would imply that she is potentially telling the truth, but it's not like she has

[01:23:28] [SPEAKER_15] any true allies here to tell the truth to necessarily. But, but yes, so if she actually wanted Drew out, now, again, here's the thing. This is, this is exactly what I talked about, right? You keep Devin's, ideally you keep D as well. Nearly guarantee that both of them will take you to the end and into the final two, I mean, because both D and devin's plan to cut each other. And then

[01:23:58] [SPEAKER_15] maybe you pull off a jury vote, right? Like, maybe the jury's bitter, maybe the jury is anti-icon, there's always a chance. Maybe if Devin's is the one to evict Drew here, Drew doesn't give Devin's the vote, or, you know, whatever. So, you know, there's some validity to this, plus, not to mention the fact, of course, she wins herself and cuts Devin's and takes D, that's like her best case, one of her best case scenarios going into a final two is having just cut Devin's instead of giving him

[01:24:28] [SPEAKER_15] to somebody else. So, it does seem like she's going along that line of thought, which was my weird off-the-cuff thought that sounds a little rough around the edges, but not necessarily the worst idea in the world. The downside to this, of course, is that against Drew, she probably has a better chance of winning the jury vote than Devin's probably, but not necessarily. So, it's like against Drew, she has

[01:24:59] [SPEAKER_15] Lala, she has not even necessarily Yash. Man, it's just a tough one. It's like, I really don't know. I don't know what I would do in this spot if I were Taylor.

[01:25:14] [SPEAKER_09] No, I don't, I don't know if there is really like a solid, oh, that's the move. I think that it really could go either way. And I feel like this is the, we always try and predict the jury votes and everything like that and then we're always totally wrong. So, you have no idea how a jury is going to vote. The way that they say they're going to vote in the House usually does not end up being the way that they vote in the end, unless it's so obvious.

[01:25:40] [SPEAKER_16] Yeah.

[01:25:41] [SPEAKER_15] Exactly. I do think getting Devins to evict Drew at the final four, then winning final three HOH and cutting Devins and taking D is probably her best case win scenario.

[01:25:57] [SPEAKER_02] Mm-hmm.

[01:26:01] [SPEAKER_15] then, like, the other way around would be getting D or Drew to cut Devins at the final four, winning and taking Drew to the final two by cutting D. If Drew's the one that cut Devins, then I still, that matchup is still a little rougher. But if D was the one to cut Devins, then you cut D and you take Drew. That's also a pretty good scenario. But it's not as good as you having just cut Devins, I think. So, I don't know. I mean, it's maybe

[01:26:31] [SPEAKER_15] a little bit riskier, but it's maybe a slightly better win scenario. It's, it's, yeah, it's a lot of, let's just rate Taylor right now. Why not? Yay,

[01:26:40] [SPEAKER_16] let's do that.

[01:26:43] [SPEAKER_15] Melissa, what are your thoughts on Taylor with all this going on?

[01:26:47] [SPEAKER_09] Oh, man. Oh, this is so hard. I feel like, I mean, honestly, like, I feel like she has to, like, make giant moves as we come down the home stretch. And yes, like, she won HOH, that's huge. Like, honestly, if she didn't win this HOH, I'd probably put her pretty low because I would think like, she's just not, she doesn't have the resume. She doesn't have it. But now she's got this HOH and that's

[01:27:17] [SPEAKER_09] huge. And then I, but I think it really matters at the end whether or not she can pull out another comp win and make a big cut. Like, if she can pull out the final HOH or whatever and cut D or Devin's or like some big player, I think she could do really well in the end. And I think that she would have a good argument to make. But at this point, it feels like I can't really see who she wins against. If we're really like when Taryn was just breaking down

[01:27:46] [SPEAKER_09] like the votes, it's like, okay, well, we've got Lala for sure, maybe. And then Yash, like, I don't know. And then like, it really depends. Like, I don't know, because I think a lot of people, especially if she gets to the end with Devin's, I see people voting for Devin's because I feel like they would, I think that they would say, like, who do we want to represent this season? I think that it's possible that Devin's could pull it off because they could be like, yeah, that's the representative we want of, like, the overall arc of the

[01:28:16] [SPEAKER_09] season. Or, you know, D, well, that could be exciting to reward do the first Survivor winner and Big Brother winner. That would bring our season, you know, a lot of hype or a lot of people talking about it. Like, I feel like there are outside reasons to nominate or to vote for people. And I don't know, I don't know if Taylor really pulls that. She would have to really craft a good story of like, I was at the bottom the whole time and

[01:28:46] [SPEAKER_09] I had all of these, you know, people like wanting me out and when I needed to win, I won. Um, God, it's so tough. This is a really, really hard

[01:29:01] one.

[01:29:01] [SPEAKER_15] It's such a tough one because theoretically the three people with the highest win equity could all get evicted in a couple days.

[01:29:10] [SPEAKER_08] Right.

[01:29:10] [SPEAKER_15] And the one person with the lowest amount of win equity is the one person guaranteed final three with a great chance of final two.

[01:29:17] [SPEAKER_08] Right.

[01:29:17] [SPEAKER_02] Yep. Yep.

[01:29:22] [SPEAKER_09] Oh, man. I know. I know. I'm like, I feel like, honestly, and this is the tough thing is I feel like all these people, I'm going to rate them pretty similar. Like, I feel like they all have a very good chance of winning. So I feel like there's not this like big spread that we usually see. It's not like, oh, these people are two, they're not winning. These people are like an eight, they're winning. I think it's all kind of like eight, seven, six. Like, it's, uh, uh, I guess,

[01:29:53] [SPEAKER_09] I think, okay, so I think I have to give Taylor, I think I'll give Taylor like a six. I think. Or like have the storyline arc that she needs to be like, this is why I deserve it. And I think if she wins that final HOH and bring someone to the end, like,

[01:30:23] [SPEAKER_09] I think that that could be a good story. But I think right now, like we haven't seen enough of that yet. So I think like if she doesn't win anything else and just gets pulled to the end because someone thinks that they can beat her, that's going to be really tough.

[01:30:37] [SPEAKER_17] So are we rating them on win equity right now? Are we rating them on the week?

[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_09] I mean,

[01:30:43] [SPEAKER_15] it's really

[01:30:44] [SPEAKER_08] all together.

[01:30:46] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah, I mean, it's up to it's up to you. I think this this deep in I think win equity probably matters more, but it's really like whatever, whatever you want.

[01:30:57] [SPEAKER_17] Let me just I have a lot to say. I'm prefacing this right now. So again, a lot of this audience, I've said it before, Tara knows, I've said it before every time I get on this podcast, a lot of this audience approaches this game as if they are playing from the top. They all, we all know, we watch the feeds, we have all of the information, you play as if you play from the top. When you step your foot into that house,

[01:31:27] [SPEAKER_17] there's no guarantee what your placement is going to be depending on the cast that you're given. Look at Melody. Melody is supposed to be a big brother, fan. I'm pretty sure she thought she was going to go in there and make strategic moves and was on the wrong side immediately. Taylor has always had to fight from the bottom. And the time that she was ascending, remember when Drew and Dee and the crossovers made that flip onto

[01:31:56] [SPEAKER_17] the lyric vote, Taylor and Lala joined that lyric vote, and they got the least amount of backlash from that lyric vote because they were honest about their not me going on a rant and my light die. Who hates me? What is happening? They're trying

[01:32:15] [SPEAKER_15] to take you out, Mari.

[01:32:17] [SPEAKER_17] They don't want to hear the truth. They can't handle the truth. Taylor and Lala came out of that vote with Kamu, Yash, not Chuck, but Kamu wanting to work with them, you know, straight into a Lala HOH that Taylor ran. Taylor ran that HOH like the

[01:32:47] [SPEAKER_17] army. And yes, their target was Haley and they got out Chuck. Remember at that time, Haley, Chuck, Kamu, the red corner were running the game. So getting Chuck out was a boon for them. Chuck might not have been coming for them. Chuck was talking cash crap about them behind their backs. He did not have their backs at all. They get Chuck out. They're on the rise. Yash wins

[01:33:16] [SPEAKER_17] HOH. Yash is going after D, Angela, and who else did he put up? He put up, I forget, Barrett. Right. They are on the Ascension, Kamu, Taylor, Yash, Lala, and I feel like there was one more person. Angela D. Haley

[01:33:38] [SPEAKER_15] were the noms.

[01:33:40] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah, Angela D. Haley. Thank you. They were effectively on the rise to create a resistance against the icons. And then Devin used his diamond power Vito gets out Kamu, and it's all downhill from there. I actually love Kamu going out there, so I'm not complaining about that. And then from there, Taylor then has to play from the bottom and all of that. So I very well resent the fact that people say

[01:34:09] [SPEAKER_17] Taylor didn't try. Taryn pointed out very well earlier this morning that Taylor has always tried. No matter where she was from, no matter if she was from the bottom to the middle of the top, she always tried to push her agenda. We saw that during the double eviction where most people would have just shut up and gave up. Taylor is an active player. Because it's not going her way, because of her social hierarchy within the House, does not mean that she is

[01:34:39] [SPEAKER_17] not an active player. Now it's up to, everybody can have their opinion on if she's a good player, if she's not a good player, whatever, whatever, whatever. But it's just, I think, very indicative of who we give credit to for actually attempting to play the game when positioning, when certain people have to come out of a different level of positioning. We've said it here, one of the reasons why the icons dipped so much in the middle is because we

[01:35:08] [SPEAKER_17] have said they've had advantages. They've had advantages, they use those advantages, they've made great leaps and bounds with those advantages, advantages, but they had advantages. Taylor had disadvantages. It had to work from the bottom and she's still here and she's guaranteed final three. Taylor is guaranteed final three. And like Taryn said, more than likely final two, depending on how things shake out. So, I mean, I

[01:35:37] [SPEAKER_17] just don't really like the narrative to be quite honest, because again, she was put in a position that, like at the start of the game, the game had a, there was a people who had a stranglehold on the game. It was a position that she could not, that she, it took her 11 weeks to crawl out of. So, I'm saying all that and I'm still gonna give her like a seven, because again, she

[01:36:06] [SPEAKER_17] is in, she's in the end game. And I think her working with Devin's is again, because people have said it, Devin's to her face has been one of the nicer players to her. We know that Taylor has voted off of emotion. I don't care if some of you don't like people who vote off of emotion. I am the type of person that says when it's Big Brother, Big Brother is a social strategy game. Keyword is social. I get that a lot of us like

[01:36:36] [SPEAKER_17] strategy, but sometimes how the way people make you feel, it just comes down to that. And that's why she chose to get rid of Angela. That's why she's been talking about getting rid of Drew for weeks now. So if she wants to get rid of Drew just because she doesn't like him and doesn't want to get him closer to 750 or 75, then that is her prerogative. Is it

[01:37:06] [SPEAKER_17] strategic? I don't know. Again, getting rid of Drew, you might more guarantee that a D or Devin's try to cut each other and take you to the end. And I get it. We're talking about win equity. And if she gets dragged to the end, then she might not have a chance. But the fact is that if she can make it to those final two chairs and if she can fight for the win, then that is, I think, a win in her book for somebody who started out

[01:37:36] [SPEAKER_17] where she started out from. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, I think Taylor has shown a lot of resilience. I think it's going to be interesting to see. She has no vote here. The noms don't matter. So what I'm looking for is to see how she strategically places herself amongst the people she thinks is going to stay. And if we don't know because we haven't seen it, but if she's trying to get closer to Devin's, she's basically doing what Dee and Drew

[01:38:06] [SPEAKER_17] are trying to do, right? Dee and Drew are trying to get close to each other to convince them to take each other. I think she's trying to work on Devin's for Devin's to feel good about taking her. So I want to see more about what she's doing. You know, we'll see more this week, but I mean, she's guaranteed final three. She's guaranteed final three, you know? All right, rant over.

[01:38:28] [SPEAKER_15] No, I love it. And that's, and that's, you know, you're speaking to exactly what I was saying this morning as well. And I think like, it's like, I want it to be clear that like, I think, I think a huge problem with the discourse of the season is that there's like all kinds of nonsense in like Stan wars happening that like people are a part of. And so like, you know, there is a narrative out there that is

[01:38:58] [SPEAKER_15] saying Taylor has done nothing in the game. She's just been sleeping in her pod the whole time. She's literally not even tried. She's done nothing. That's the narrative I was addressing this morning. It's certainly the narrative that you're addressing right now. And when you address that narrative, you say she's definitely not done nothing. Like she's definitely played. Then there are other people that are like, well, no, it's, she doesn't deserve to win. She's not the best player. It's like, that's not, that's not what we're, that's not what we're saying necessarily. I mean,

[01:39:28] [SPEAKER_15] deserve to win is another whole thing, but I like, or at least here, I'll speak for myself. I'm not saying that she's the best player in the house. I'm saying she's not somebody who is sleeping in her pod all day doing nothing, not having tried. Right? There's a huge, huge amount of space in between those two things. But like, different people, they hear it and they think it's addressed to them. And then they are assuming that the thing that is not being addressed to them is being addressed to them.

[01:39:58] [SPEAKER_15] And they're assuming it's coming from like the other people that they're like, oh, well, there are other people that say she's the best player ever. And so you're basically saying, you're basically one of those people, aren't you? And it's like, I'm not, I'm not part of your stupid Stan Wars. Like none of us are. Like,

[01:40:13] [SPEAKER_09] not on that corner of the internet. I don't even know what's

[01:40:16] [SPEAKER_08] going on.

[01:40:16] [SPEAKER_15] And one of the specific reasons that, that I'm addressing the, like, she's done nothing argument is because that is a narrative that the production has pushed and that has been pushed in the house itself. And so the thing I want to say is specifically to that argument in particular is that like Taylor has been pretty heavily impacted by the twists of this season. Like the twists of the season have heavily benefited

[01:40:47] [SPEAKER_15] Devin's and D as we know they've benefited Drew sort of like peripherally. You could maybe argue yes or no but he's certainly here. From week one, Taylor is on the block on a D-H-O-H that she was all but guaranteed because she was one of the vets coming in. If it wasn't D, if everyone was allowed to compete it probably would have been Yash or Jason, neither of whom would have nominated Taylor. She was on their side. She ends up

[01:41:17] [SPEAKER_15] staying that week because the vet side didn't want to piss off the other side by voting her out because she had gotten into good enough relationships with that side that there was enough of social stigma there that they didn't want to do it. When she finally does, when Lala wins the H-O-H, one of the reasons she gives Lala for why they shouldn't target Devin's is because he probably has a power and that could really screw us up. She's also made an alliance with him at that point. She's made multiple alliances.

[01:41:47] [SPEAKER_15] I called it out at the time. I think that was a mistake. I don't think she made the right choice, but she made a choice and she had information and it would have she's helping pull in

[01:42:17] [SPEAKER_15] Haley. She's doing a lot of work with Haley that week. They make multiple alliances, a whole structure in place with D on the block as the target. She even warns them a little bit about the veto use situation and then the diamond power veto does come in play, completely wrecks the entire situation, Kamu leaves, and then her side never wins power again. And when they finally do, when she's still with Yash, when she finally gets

[01:42:46] [SPEAKER_15] back in with Yash in power, he is handcuffed by the bribe, the other, and he has to nominate her and she has to lose one of her most valuable allies in Barrett. And it's just like at every turn she is turned out. Now, again, that doesn't mean she hasn't made poor decisions strategically. Again, I don't, I think she should have gone after the vets on Lala's HOH. I don't think she should have kept D on Barrett's HOH.

[01:43:15] [SPEAKER_15] And all this stuff, right? Not to mention all of the biases and microaggressions and other kinds of behavior that she dealt with over the course of the season from various players, which is something that many people have to go through when they enter this house. And so, at the very least though, like, she is an active player. She's somebody that made

[01:43:45] [SPEAKER_15] multiple alliances, made multiple moves, multiple decisions, and impacted the direction of this game significantly, and was hindered pretty significantly by many of the twists. Does that mean that she is the best player? That we need to be praising at her feet? Because she is, no, of course not. It's just to counter this specific narrative that is very much out there, and some of which is very, very nasty. And so, that is what I am addressing, that is what I'm talking about, and we are rating her accordingly,

[01:44:14] [SPEAKER_15] at least in this position, or at least I'm trying to, because it's a tough rating to make. It's hard. Yeah. Yeah. So. Exactly. Ultimately, I do think I'll agree with Melissa here. I think that guaranteed final three, great chance at final two, you never know what the jury is thinking. I think a six is pretty appropriate here. I do not think she's drawing dead by any means, though I do think she is the least likely person to win a jury

[01:44:44] [SPEAKER_15] vote, but not necessarily the least likely person to win because she's guaranteed to the final three. So, it's a tricky one. What does the audience think? The audience says a six as well.

[01:45:01] [SPEAKER_16] Six.

[01:45:02] [SPEAKER_15] There you go. Okay. After all

[01:45:07] [SPEAKER_09] the chat going crazy and everything, it ends up that you guys agree with us. So, sorry.

[01:45:16] [SPEAKER_15] The chat, so the audience originally gave her a five actually before the HOH, which honestly might have been higher than what I would have given her prior to this HOH, but raised it to a six after the HOH win, which I think obviously is much more appropriate considering I gave her a six as well. I think I, and this is why, like, as I went down the list, I was like, I think I might have to change my seven to an eight on D.

[01:45:47] [SPEAKER_15] But I mean, I just think she's a lot more likely to win the game, and I think she's less likely to leave this week than Devin's. And she played really well this week. I think I will change mine to an eight. And that leaves us.

[01:46:00] [SPEAKER_09] It's hard because we usually do this sort of rating system after the veto has been played. So usually we know who's up and who, you know, so it's easier. This one, it's like, we don't even know Noms, we don't even know veto, we don't know anything. We just know the HOH. And like, that's all we have. So it's a lot harder.

[01:46:18] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Yeah. And, and yeah, you know, like, obviously, like, I make this case for a lot of players. Like, I made a similar case for Melody. I just think that people are way overly harsh on players that don't win competitions in terms of their gameplay. Like, no, they haven't been effective. They haven't won comps. But then, but then they get mad when those players win comps at the end of the game. And it's like, you were mad at

[01:46:48] [SPEAKER_15] them because they weren't effective in the game because they never won power. But then when they do win power, you're mad because the people who had won power before

[01:46:56] [SPEAKER_02] are now

[01:46:57] [SPEAKER_15] not winning power anymore. You know, it's just like, I think that people are overly critical of people that don't win power because they think they're bad at the social and strategic game, even though really they're mostly just bad at the competitive game. And they're not good enough at the social and strategic game to be competitive without it. And I think Sari is such a great example of that where like, without being able to win comps, she was able to dominate the season for half the season. And then at some point, the dam broke and she could do nothing from that point forward because she couldn't win anything.

[01:47:27] [SPEAKER_15] Exactly. So even a player like Sari can look like a bad player in the house in the second half of that when you just can't win power. And so I think that Jared let's talk about Devins. Mari, how do you feel about Devins?

[01:47:52] [SPEAKER_17] Devins is the front runner to win if he can make it to the chairs. And that's the problem. he essentially has this veto, this final four veto. If he wins this final four veto, you know, he is one step closer to the final two. Now, again, he'll have to win that final

[01:48:22] [SPEAKER_17] three HOH, but we're just talking about this week. Um, so it's kind of weird, right? He has the highest win equity, but the fact that everybody should be trying to take him out kind of negates that. Um, so he's at a lot in a lot of danger just this week alone. I'm gonna give him a, I'm gonna also give him a seven. Um, I, I really,

[01:48:52] [SPEAKER_17] I really, uh, do like what Devin's is doing. I think, um, again, if he really does try and keep Taylor on sides here, this would be good. He is, like you said this morning, dropping the ball with Drew and maybe D. I want to see, I didn't see much of him on the feeds earlier today. I think him and Taylor were just eating for most of the time that I was watching. So I, I, I need him to kick his social, his socialness

[01:49:21] [SPEAKER_17] into gear here. It might be futile, but at least he needs to try. He needs to really, really try. Um, it's just, he has that winner monkey on his back and he's so used to being in this position of having to win out. It feels like he's zoning. It feels like he's trying to get into his, like, winning zone, so much so that he is, he is blocking out that social zone, which is, which was his problem on Survivor as well.

[01:49:51] [SPEAKER_17] So, um, yeah, he's in a do or die situation, um, which sucks, but I, I, I really like Devons. I, I really do. Um, I, I, I'm get, I'm spoiler alert. Everybody's getting close to the same rating because it's just so up in the air. It truly is.

[01:50:11] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah. Um, I, yeah, you're right. I mean, the thing with Devons is that I think he's probably the most likely winner because I think he has a great chance of winning this final four veto. And I think he has a great chance of winning the final three HOH. And I think if he does both of those things, he wins the game straight up. But I do have to like, I have to take into account number one that he might not win this final four veto, which is, I think his weakest position. I think if he

[01:50:41] [SPEAKER_15] wins final four veto, lock him in. I mean, he's, I think he's pretty solid. Um, this is the most dangerous.

[01:50:50] [SPEAKER_09] So if Kayla truly like, we don't know the details, but if Taylor actually wants him to make the decision and she wins, like that's two people playing for Devons.

[01:50:58] [SPEAKER_02] Yes.

[01:50:59] [SPEAKER_09] To be not in the nomination chairs by the end of the week, whereas the other two are playing for themselves.

[01:51:05] [SPEAKER_15] Theoretically, Taylor is the least likely person to win the veto despite this HOH win. But that doesn't mean like, even if she, if you give everyone 25%, you give Devons a little bit extra, you give Drew a little bit extra and you, you know, either it's still like what, like 15% even if you say she's least likely to win. That's still a huge amount of percentage points to add on if what she says is true, but we don't know if it's true. Um, or that it will hold right. Like give her a veto, give D a couple of

[01:51:35] [SPEAKER_15] days, you know, she might be able to convince her. Um, the thing, the thing I don't like about Devons right now, in terms of his game, is that if you asked me two days ago, I would say, yeah, heading into final four where the only people voting are Drew or D lock him in for final three.

[01:51:59] [SPEAKER_02] Neither of

[01:52:00] [SPEAKER_15] them plan to cut him before final three. Two days later, I'm saying I think it's more likely that both of them cut him. And I really think that's a bit like nothing has changed. Nothing about his game, or the perception of his game has changed. All that's changed is that like other people have been working, specifically D and Drew and Melody. And they were all like, they, they changed the way that they wanted

[01:52:29] [SPEAKER_15] to approach their relationship and, uh, and the way that they handled Devons in the game. And he was, I said it this morning, I'm just a little bit asleep at the wheel here. Uh, and when you have two people willing to take you to final three and you're not squatting on top of those relationships and making sure that they're holding as much as possible, like, that's a problem. Endgame requires so much work. When I talked to

[01:52:58] [SPEAKER_15] Steve Moses for my book, uh, I, I got this, I, I talked about this in the book, uh, that he talked about how when he got home, he had trouble, like, mentally adjusting because in specifically the end game, you can't ever let, like, the other people talk. Like, you always have to be with them. Like, it's so important, especially at the end game, you need to be on top of those people. And so just the fact that he heard his parents

[01:53:27] [SPEAKER_15] talking upstairs or whatever, like, triggered him. He was like, I need to, they might be talking about me, I need to be up there with them.

[01:53:34] [SPEAKER_02] Uh,

[01:53:34] [SPEAKER_15] and the fact, so the fact that like, Drew and Dee have had so many private conversations, uh, that, that Devins hasn't just like, interrupted and that he has had very few private conversations with either one of them in comparison, uh, is, is an indictment on his end game right now. Um, so I have to punish him for that to some degree, but it's again, it's like none of it might end up mattering at all if he just ends up winning. So, uh, so I think I'll

[01:54:04] [SPEAKER_15] agree with the seven, with the caveat of like, this is being adjusted for like, I think Dee did a really good job over the last week and I think Devins has, he's, he's not, it's not all been bad. He helps get Drew to keep Dee, like, he manages to take out, uh, Melody, like, there's some good in what he's done. It's just that like, taking Melody out didn't help him at all when he loses Drew anyway.

[01:54:34] [SPEAKER_15] Uh, so like, you know, it's, it's a little bit of a back and forth there, but yeah, seven for me.

[01:54:41] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah, um, I think seven for me as well. I think that he is most likely to win, honestly, if just, we go by what it seems like people are interested in voting for and what people are saying. Um, however, you know, I just remember back to what was it? Like some Big Brother Canada season where we had each jury member, like we would interview the jury members and they'd, we'd have them rank like, like the people in the order that they vote for and it turned out to be like totally wrong.

[01:55:10] [SPEAKER_15] The complete opposite. Yeah, I mean, that's like every reason I try to do that.

[01:55:13] [SPEAKER_09] We like use that as like analysis to help us like, okay, well, the jury says that they're going to vote for this person. And then it was like not at all accurate. So I feel like we can never really take what the jury says, like as they're leaving the house as gospel when it comes to who they're actually going to vote for in the end. Because I think like that's somebody who maybe right now they feel like, oh, Taylor or someone like that doesn't really have win equity. But by the end, they're impressed that she's still there. They're impressed that she cut D at the final

[01:55:43] [SPEAKER_09] three or whatever. You know what I mean? Like there's things going on that happen that we don't know about yet that will convince them to vote for her or whoever or maybe not vote for Devin's, even though right now people are saying they want to vote for Devin's. So I think he did take his foot off the gas a little bit this week in terms of like making sure that like Drew and D didn't get these conversations. And also, I'm just not so sure that Devin's has it in him to like make the movie needs to make at the end to either cut D or like cut someone important and I just

[01:56:12] [SPEAKER_09] feel like I don't know that he's going to be so cutthroat at the end when he needs to be. So we'll see. But you know, obviously like I still have to keep his rating up high because I just do feel like he's the one that people see as like, duh, he's the winner. So we'll see.

[01:56:29] [SPEAKER_15] We'll see. Yeah. And the thing too is that like I do wonder because Devin has talked about this on the feeds about Survivor and how he came one fire making challenge away from winning a million dollars. And he's been a very clutch competitor all season long. But you have to wonder about like those memories if he knows if he's in that final three and he's like or maybe even this final four and he's

[01:56:59] [SPEAKER_15] like I'm like one competition away. It's just like Survivor like that can that can get to you a little bit. So, you know, this it's a big like do or die redemption moment. It could make him better, but it could also make him worse. so that'll be interesting to see as well. The audience says a six for Devin's. There you go. Finally, let's talk about Drew.

[01:57:29] [SPEAKER_15] Drew losing Melody is real rough for him there at the final five and heading into final four. he loses the HOH to Taylor, which is pretty bad as well. Maybe his worst case scenario here because I do think it's it's a little too likely that Devin's evicts him over D and a little too likely that D evicts him over Devin's. I don't I think D

[01:57:59] [SPEAKER_15] I just don't know if they I know they're going to cut each other at three. I don't know if they'll cut each other at four. And so him being in this spot is very bad for him. But if he gets through this spot he still has the opportunity to to cut one of the vets and take Taylor if he wants though he seems to plan to prefer to take D

[01:58:28] [SPEAKER_15] I mean and he's he certainly won he won that veto that we haven't even seen yet. But I mean he was basically you know he was one of the only people that could win that veto. I think if it's anything I mean if he's in final three I think lock him into final the part three of the final three HOH.

[01:58:54] [SPEAKER_02] I think

[01:58:55] [SPEAKER_15] he will for sure win either endurance or part two. And then it's just beating somebody in a quiz. if it's D I like his chances. But I still don't even know if he's for sure going to cut Devins here. But if he does and then he beats Devins and he takes Taylor I think that's a great shot to win. I think he's the most likely person to be evicted at final four. Is he?

[01:59:24] [SPEAKER_09] It's so hard. It's so hard too because it's also like I could see a situation where he gets to the final two and people are like well we're not voting for him. But I could also see a situation where he gets to the final two and people are like hey look he made it this far like maybe we're upset that we didn't get you know we didn't hitch our ride to the icons and make it this far like he deserves it look at all his comp wins or whatever and like maybe he cuts Devens and takes D to the end. I don't know. But there could be like some narrative there.

[01:59:54] [SPEAKER_09] He would just have to sell it for sure.

[01:59:57] [SPEAKER_15] Okay. I think I think Devens will cut Drew especially if it's what Taylor says she wants to have happen because in Devens' mind he's going along with what Taylor wants so he's fulfilling that final two deal they're trying to make while keeping D happy thinking that D will still take him. I think Taylor saying to Devens she wants Drew out is

[02:00:26] [SPEAKER_15] what Devens needs to tip the scales if the scales were balanced in the first place to evicting Drew because not evicting Drew now antagonizes Taylor for no reason. Right?

[02:00:39] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. Yeah.

[02:00:41] [SPEAKER_15] So Taylor winning veto or Devens winning veto I think likely leads to a Drew eviction. D winning veto or Drew winning veto obviously doesn't lead to a Drew eviction but D winning veto is more up in the air. I think D absolutely could cut Devens here but she still might just cut Drew and take her chances with Devens and Taylor. so that's not great. There's not a single person that I feel

[02:01:11] [SPEAKER_15] good about winning other than Drew for Drew's odds which is the reverse of D where like most people I feel good about.

[02:01:18] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[02:01:21] [SPEAKER_17] So yeah I thought he had a better chance until you started talking this out. Me too. My initial thought was a six. Yeah.

[02:01:30] [SPEAKER_09] I'm talking

[02:01:31] [SPEAKER_07] myself down to

[02:01:32] [SPEAKER_15] a five.

[02:01:33] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah I feel like I'm like leaning towards a five just because I feel like there's like the chance like he needs to win himself in order to like guarantee that he goes otherwise like it's up in the air. I don't oh my gosh I don't know. I think if he gets to the end like especially if he wins the final HOH and he cut somebody or whatever like I think he his chances go up but it just feels like oh I don't know the odds of him getting there like he needs to be the one winning.

[02:02:03] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah he needs to win. Him and Devens are in the same kind of vote here. They need to win but the problem is they're going up against each other and they both have the high chance of winning. And I feel

[02:02:20] [SPEAKER_09] like people respect Devin's game more so I feel like for me I would rate Devin's chances higher because the jury like quote unquote respects him more and so would or seemingly respects him more and so they would vote for him to like if he gets to the end like I'm pretty sure he wins versus Drew gets to the end and there's still a toss-up we don't know if they would vote for him.

[02:02:45] [SPEAKER_17] Yeah. I mean oh my god I don't know. I can give my rating if you yeah go for it. I'm gonna give him I'm gonna give him a six because he has the ability to win out. That's what

[02:03:01] [SPEAKER_15] I was thinking.

[02:03:02] [SPEAKER_09] Yeah and depending on especially with who his competition is left like he's a comp threat for sure. I mean Yash is no longer there. Barrett's no longer there. Not that Barrett was such a comp threat but like I mean if you're really looking at like who has chances of winning these things like I mean Devin's is really truly like his biggest threat.

[02:03:23] [SPEAKER_17] Yes and I do think that D is really getting into his ear again with the help of Melody. To try and cut Devin's the fact that he is considering it when like we said a few days ago it didn't even seem like it was something that was really really crossing his mind. If he wins his final four veto he cuts Devin's here. He's looking really good for the end game. He can either take Taylor take Taylor

[02:03:55] [SPEAKER_17] for a toss up a win. I don't know again we still have to figure that out but like it's if he takes D as well again I don't know. I just think I just think he has a just like Devin's he has a really good chance of winning but he has a really good chance of winning but his win equity is lower than Devin's so I'll just give him a six.

[02:04:18] [SPEAKER_15] Yeah I think I'm with that too. I think that you know even I think that he's more likely to win comps than D more likely to win the two comps because there's two competitions left. Final four veto final three HOH. I think he's more likely to win both of those comps than both D or Taylor but Taylor's already guaranteed a spot in final three whereas he is not and D is playing really well got a boost in his score there and is least likely to leave and is more likely

[02:04:48] [SPEAKER_15] to win in a final two. And then Devin's I think is more likely to win those two comps than Drew. So yeah I think a six makes sense.

[02:05:02] [SPEAKER_09] I'm totally vacillating between a five and a six but I think I'm going to give him a six because then it keeps everything green which I think is pretty fun because I don't think we've ever had a final four that's been all in the green so I feel like that's exciting.

[02:05:16] [SPEAKER_15] Well the audience says a five. They ruined it.

[02:05:20] [SPEAKER_09] Come on. I literally they're yelling at us. Yeah. Everyone's yelling at us that we don't look at you high enough.

[02:05:30] [SPEAKER_02] So I

[02:05:31] [SPEAKER_15] will tell you Devin's was a seven prior to Taylor's HOH win so he moved down from a seven to a six. Drew was a six prior to Taylor's HOH win so he moved down from a six to a five. We already said that D moved down from an eight to a seven and Taylor moved up from a five to a six. So they all moved Taylor moved up one and everyone else moved down one for the audience. Wow.

[02:06:00] [SPEAKER_15] I can quickly check previous final fours here.

[02:06:06] [SPEAKER_09] This is the first time. Oh my God. Look at that Morgan.

[02:06:10] [SPEAKER_15] Oof. And then this is not quite a final four but there we go Chelsea obviously.

[02:06:21] [SPEAKER_09] We knew.

[02:06:23] [SPEAKER_15] And then what is happening here? There were so many people.

[02:06:27] [SPEAKER_08] Oh my God. This was such a

[02:06:28] [SPEAKER_15] long season man. Season 25. We didn't even do one at final four.

[02:06:33] [SPEAKER_08] Wow.

[02:06:35] [SPEAKER_15] And then heading into here we go final four of BB24. Look at that.

[02:06:44] [SPEAKER_17] When she won that

[02:06:45] [SPEAKER_15] HOH. Yeah.

[02:06:47] [SPEAKER_17] And guaranteed. I say this every time. When I saw Taylor win that final four I was like she's winning the game. She's winning the game. Like I legit. Best moment ever. Anyways. So crazy.

[02:07:01] [SPEAKER_15] All right. Well. That's it then. That's the stock watch for the week. What a wild ride. We had so much to say even though we were only rating four players. I know. I literally

[02:07:15] [SPEAKER_09] can't believe we made it to two hours. I was like what are we going to talk about? But oh we got it all off our chest. Yeah. Oh my God.

[02:07:24] [SPEAKER_16] This was so fun.

[02:07:26] [SPEAKER_15] Yes. All right. Any final thoughts before we wrap this up?

[02:07:31] [SPEAKER_09] I'm just excited to see what happens. I feel like this has been a very fun season and it's been kind of a wild ride. so I feel like the end game hopefully keeps up that kind of excitement.

[02:07:45] [SPEAKER_17] Agreed. Yeah. I'm really going to be watching the feeds now for to see what everybody is telling each other you know to try and see if we can glean what everybody's true motivations are when it is to who they're taking. So that's always fun when we get down to this part. Yeah.

[02:08:05] [SPEAKER_15] All right. Well that is what we have for you then tonight. Thank you all so much for joining. There is only one more week of roundtable after this and just over one week left in the entire season but I will be back tomorrow morning with an update of course. Probably not with veto results but who knows. We'll see what the results are certainly with nomination results I would imagine.

[02:08:35] [SPEAKER_15] And then Wednesday Survivor premiere followed by a Big Brother episode. We'll have a podcast after. I'll be streaming on my Patreon and Twitch and YouTube. I also just streamed today. I watched Traders NewBlood season five episode one and two. Checked those out on my Patreon. [02:09:06] [SPEAKER_15] watch my content and hear my analysis on shows like Survivor and the Traders as we head into the offseason over there. Not to mention the fact that I'm doing the Big Brother 2 offseason project. We'll be rewatching all of that season with live feed updates throughout. It's going to be a fun time so check that out as well. Mari, what do you have going on?

[02:09:25] [SPEAKER_17] Well, over on Crime Scene Pod, me and Sarah Codine, we are covering true crime over there. Last week we dropped Welcome to the Family, The Murder of Dan Arkell. [02:10:12] [SPEAKER_09] that's it.

[02:10:13] [SPEAKER_15] All right. And Melissa?

[02:10:17] [SPEAKER_09] Melissa will be streaming at some point. I really will. Well, now I'm getting nervous because I was telling Taryn earlier that we're running out of the season. What the heck are people going to want me to stream about? I have no draw. I don't have a thing that everyone else has. So if anyone has an idea for a thing for me or if anyone wants me to just like because I'm happy to just like chit chat, but I don't know if people care about that. So, you know, trying to figure out what my niche will be with that kind of thing.

[02:10:47] [SPEAKER_09] But yeah, I just need to find the

[02:10:49] [SPEAKER_15] some lawyer expertise.

[02:10:52] [SPEAKER_09] Oh, God, that would be such a bad idea. Like, that would be like malpractice. Like, I can't. So, yeah, but I'm happy to, you know, get on there and chat. So I just need to do it. But it's just been kind of difficult. So I'll figure it out.

[02:11:11] [SPEAKER_02] I'll bring

[02:11:11] [SPEAKER_09] Calanon. I'll bring Dennis on whatever the people want. The dogs, you know, I'll do it. I'll do whatever you guys want.

[02:11:19] [SPEAKER_15] All right. Well,

[02:11:20] [SPEAKER_09] is that a good pitch? Sure.

[02:11:22] [SPEAKER_15] Listen, it worked for Drew, right?

[02:11:25] [SPEAKER_09] Oh, someone just had an idea in the chat that said Taryn and Melissa BB2 roundtables. That'd be so funny.

[02:11:32] [SPEAKER_02] Do a roundtable

[02:11:33] [SPEAKER_09] for the season. That'd be so

[02:11:34] [SPEAKER_02] funny. All right.

[02:11:37] [SPEAKER_09] I did watch that season live as it aired. So, you know, I know what the deal is.

[02:11:43] [SPEAKER_15] There you go.

[02:11:43] [SPEAKER_09] There you go.
