[00:03:12] Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA. Every single season, you know he is the reason. You know what's happening. Rob said that he could do it tomorrow.

[00:03:42] Hello, everyone, and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 7th. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 62 in the house. And we had some campaigning. We had some hanging out. We had some rain, which is interesting.

[00:04:11] And a little bit of a challenger situation going on. Nothing serious, nothing major. Chappell is here to talk to me about it. How are you doing, Chappell? I'm good. I'm good. As you know, it doesn't rain often on Big Brother, at least for the backyard. And so, you know, something else that doesn't come often is me. I don't come here often. You know what I'm saying? I'm not here all the time. I get to join you once a year for our annual Labor Day party. And so, you know, I'm very excited to talk about it. But, Taryn, I can't lie. A little disappointed.

[00:04:40] Last season, I mean, we had, you know, you can't trade one for one when you can trade two for one. I think we had the Vorgan hours. I think Morgan was thinking about, well, maybe maybe maybe I don't use the veto on myself. I use it on you like we had a lot of crazy stuff going on. So I had, you know, high hopes for this. And I just I'm interested to see what you thought about today. Well, listen, Chappelle, the poop will be in the pudding. The poop is in the pudding.

[00:05:10] You know, when he said it, I was like, maybe maybe he didn't say poop. Maybe he did it. But there's no other way to really interpret that. I think I saw people online saying maybe he said poof. I just I don't want that pudding. I don't want any of it. I'm good. Keep the pudding. Keep the poop, too. Yes. Well, of course, as you all know, Barrett is the HOH. He nominated Angela D and Devin's the three icons. He then chose Yash to play in the veto. Yash ended up winning the veto.

[00:05:42] And and that's about where we stand. And of course, the target right now is leaning toward Devin's, assuming that Angela wins the blockbuster. Otherwise, it's just whichever of Devin's or D does not win the blockbuster. And Yash has no plans currently to use the veto on any of the three of them. And so that's how we start the day.

[00:06:08] Now, as I mentioned, it is raining in the Big Brother backyard. A pretty, pretty rare occurrence in general. It's they don't have a lot of backyard time in the first place. So even when it does occasionally rain, it's like they're not always out there. But full on raining in the house. It's it's it's a vibe, you know, a little bit, a little bit. It did kind of, you know, it felt like you were kicking it with your homies on the inside. You know, it's like it's raining outside.

[00:06:38] But so we all got to get into maybe do games or something like that. It's like you're looking on the outside. It's a pretty day, but it's not nice enough for us to really go out and enjoy it. Maybe sit on the porch, have a drink, drink some coffee, talk a little bit. So, yeah, it really did set the mood for at least the beginning of the day. But I'm happy that, you know, once it starts to clear up, they can move around a little bit more because it's fun seeing them kind of confined in a way. So that they can really start to mingle. And we see a lot of these other relationships form. But I don't know. I was kind of I was enjoying the kind of intimacy of the of the rainy morning.

[00:07:09] Yeah. And they at one point spend a portion of the day just kind of like sitting in the doorway, watching the rain come down. That's the porch. Talking about Chipotle. You know, it was it was fun. You got to have a porch seat. Oh, if it's raining, you got to go out there, kick it. You got to sip out your mug, you know, have a couple of, you know, just talk, reminisce a little bit. There was a lot of that going on in the house this this day anyway, where people just thinking back on some of the crazier things that have happened this season. It really was a reflective morning for these people.

[00:07:37] So we start the day with Barrett talking to the cameras. He is still leaning toward wanting Devon's out. He thinks that if the blockbuster is the ropes competition, he thinks the D is going to win it. Of course, the ropes one being the one where they are in a harness is the one that Michael lost in BB 24.

[00:07:59] It's the one that that you you're in the harness with the rope and you have to untangle it through like the scaffolding, like by going around and up and down and through. And then you see if all is it long enough to hit the button? No, it's not. I have to go back. They've all kind of been waiting for this one. And considering that they think that this is potentially the last blockbuster, we know it's probably not. There's at least one more.

[00:08:25] They're kind of like this is the one remaining one that they can really remember. It could be coming. And so there's a lot of talk about is it the ropes? Because they all kind of think that if it's the ropes, D probably is going to win it, which of course would mean that their goal, which is taking Devon's out, could work. He does think Barrett that the icons would nominate him and Yash. They're not nominating Yash. We know this.

[00:08:53] They're going to continue to confirm this throughout the day because he still does not believe that Yash can't nominate them. He says that he wants Drew or Melody to win the next HOH because he's FAP or bust, telling us the cameras that he is still loyal to FAP. He wants to go to the end with them despite, you know, burning Drew every second he has the chance to. It's not great. I get what he's saying.

[00:09:23] You know, like you need your shooters with you and you got to find the group that you think that you can not only win with, that can target some of these people, but also that you can probably beat in the end. And so it doesn't sound like an awful path. But, you know, I think Mari mentioned it on a recap or something one time that she talks about. Drew just kind of have like this kick dog syndrome where the person that he's loyal to is like beating him up a little bit. And then he just has to keep crawling back. And this week, I don't really like the way Barrett handled Drew as somebody not so much that like he shouldn't be annoyed with Drew and Drew,

[00:09:52] you know, ratting him out to the icons, all that kind of stuff. But fine, that's that's good. But moving forward, you're going to need these people on your side. And losing Drew would not be great for him at this point. Yeah, I would say it's I mean, that's what we've been talking about all week. Like the path that he chose requires Drew to be on board and and he's still choosing that path. But Drew is, I would say, considerably less on board than he was at the start of this week.

[00:10:23] He's choosing violence. If if I'm Drew, the petty, the little petty demon on my shoulder is starting to whisper in my ear like, hey, you might not win this, but you could. You might be able to get some revenge on Barrett, you know, and so, like I said, maybe not all the way right now for Drew. But if it's me and I like I said, I'm never going to be good at a game like this. That little petty guy is right here on my shoulder saying, get him, get him again. You land with your girl. Do something. So, yeah, if I was Barrett, I would handle Drew with care.

[00:10:53] Well, in Barrett's ideal world, the eviction order would go Devins this week, followed by D, then Yash to make a final five of FAP plus Taylor and Angela. And then, you know, from there, they've got they've got options. Now, I would hope for Barrett that at that point, it's not FAP or bust or FAP and bust.

[00:11:21] It's it's it's I'm going to the end with Taylor and Taylor and Angela. That would be that would be what I think Barrett should do at that point. He should absolutely want to take out the show. At the very least, he should be taking out Drew at five, in my opinion. But we'll see. FAP and bust is crazy. I'm not letting you get away with that one. That is crazy. That's actually insane. Come on, bro. Yeah. Hey, hey, leave the melody sound clips to yourself. OK, we'll get to her later on.

[00:11:50] But, you know, I think, you know, mentioning Angela as a good final, you know, three option for him. But I think melody as well, you know, like maybe not FAP or bust. But I think if you look at people he can beat, there's a few options on the board. They do not include Drew. But, you know, for the sake of numbers. Yeah, you're going to need them short term for sure. Hmm. Well, I also quite frankly think that if I'm going to critique the order here, which I think is like not the worst order in the world.

[00:12:19] But I also think that if I'm Barrett, Yash has to go right after whoever leaves this week. I think Yash is far too dangerous in competitions. I mentioned this yesterday. Yash has basically won every competition he's tried to win for the last like five or six weeks. Because like this guy, if you have the opportunity to take him out, you need to take it. Yeah.

[00:12:43] When you said five, I was like, oh, that's interesting because there's so many opportunities for him to save himself at that point. Still, you know, I think you have to start shooting early and often to get somebody like Yash out. And so waiting, you know, I think you have a better your better odds are against, you know, D. They're better against, you know, Devin's there. There are people that you can't really count on to win all the time. But for Yash, it looks like some of these challenges really do come easy for him.

[00:13:12] And, you know, Devin's is defeatable. We saw Taylor almost beat him in the blockbuster. You know, just the ball bounce a certain way. And we wouldn't even be having this conversation about Devin's right now. But Yash is the big bad wolf. Barrett sees it. But it's just the order in which they're going against. And, you know, I have this problem with a few other people in the house, too. But just the order in which they're approaching Yash as a threat is really starting to make me look at them as like, I don't know how the endgame is going to go for you. Mm hmm.

[00:13:37] Yeah, I just I just feel like not to harp on this too much, but I think that like if Barrett was able to keep Drew fully on board with him, if you take out one of the icons this week, Yash the following week, and then the other survivor player that they're like, the game almost just ends.

[00:13:58] As long as you still had Drew locked in as your final two juggler, he's not coming after you at the final six or final five. And you've got room to breathe. And he's still got that option. It's still possible to get there. But but but it is, I think, a little bit less likely. We'll see. So Devin's talks to Yash and begins his campaign. Devin's is going to be campaigning throughout the day.

[00:14:28] So are Angela and D. They have different campaigns, obviously, very different approaches. Devin's approaches Yash, talking about how he fears having to face D in the Ropes blockbuster and warning him against Barrett, Drew and Melody as a trio. He trusted those those two really Barrett and Drew. And look where it got him. And, you know, he's one to talk. He's betrayed Yash in the past, but it's not like he's the only one that's done any betrayals.

[00:14:57] These two had been working with him from the very beginning of the game. And now they've turned on him because he's too big a threat. And this is a genuine warning that Yash should listen to because it's right. Both Drew and Barrett are looking to turn on Yash before they claim to be working with him to final five or whatever. Because, yeah, they would, of course, be looking to take a shot there. But but obviously that doesn't exactly change anything when it comes to Devin's.

[00:15:26] He's not going to just turn around and work with Devin's. But Devin says, I have one singular focus in this game and my focus is very tall. I mean, that narrows it down, quite frankly, you know, look, I don't I don't have an issue with you saying like I'm going after Barrett. If you keep me around, I got I got your back in the fight against Barrett. But if I'm Yash, I don't care. Like, you know, at some point y'all are going to come after me. I think throughout the day they're even going to allude to it a few times.

[00:15:54] Hey, Yash basically got to win out at this point or we're all going to vote him out at some point. And so, yeah, it's a good pitch, you know, trying to keep yourself around to say like, hey, you don't have to worry about me. You can't target us because of this bribe. And I got my sights set on somebody who just made a really big move that could look really good in front of the jury. You know, this iconic move, you know, for lack of a better word. So, yeah, I think it's not the worst thing you could be saying to Yash for sure. эконом.

I'm after Barrett and Barrett's people. I'm not after you or Taylor. Uh, and Yash says he appreciates that.

[00:19:40] So, Devin's kind of starts that conversation. In the meantime, Angela and Dee are working on their own, uh, pitch for the day. Uh, Dee is hoping that the blockbuster is the ropes because she thinks she'd have a great chance of feeding Devin's at it. I'm telling you, all people all over the house just talking about ropes today. Um, Angela has an idea for what they should be pitching today. She thinks that they should pitch to Taylor and Melody, that the four women should stick together

[00:20:10] to add incentive to keep both Angela and Dee over Devin's. Um, and, you know, it's not the worst pitch in the world. Uh, it's, you know, I would say relatively transparent, but it's also like, it's one of those things. It's, it's a pretty common pitch for women to make, uh, in like the last gasps of their game. Uh, and usually what happens is the other women are like,

[00:20:39] now you want to work with the women, huh? Now you're a girl's girl. Now you come back to me after, uh, after everything. I don't remember the quote, uh, the Thanos quote, right? Yeah. But you, but you get it right. You know, you get that, you get down, you're losing all your options. And these people who you basically have been ignoring all season start to look really attractive as people that you could work with, but also people that you have one. There's one thing that's still tying y'all together, right?

[00:21:06] Y'all haven't had any strategic moments together or not many. Uh, y'all have been actively working against each other, but like, what about girls strong? We can do that. And honestly, if I'm Taylor and Maler, uh, Melody, uh, I'm looking at the guys on that other side, you know, uh, Yash, Barrett, Drew, they're comp threats for sure. So, you know, uh, if we're going to take out somebody, sure. D is also a cop threat, but I mean, there's three of them over there that exist too. I have one on my side short term. Um, so it's gives them something to think about.

[00:21:34] And I honestly do think it sinks in a little bit, at least for Melody. Yeah. I mean, it's a, it's a pitch. I would say that is, is like, it's not going to land super hard in terms of like, oh yeah, we should be the four women to the end of the game, but it is going to land in the sense of like, yeah, I was already thinking that. Like, yeah, of course I want Devon's out. Uh, but we'll, we'll get there. Um, so Drew and Melody, they talk a bit more.

[00:22:01] They still don't really believe that Yash is telling the truth about the bribe. And that is still a problem for both of them. Um, again, I'm going to say that like the only person in the game that believes Yash is telling the truth is still Barrett, who is like still holding onto this somehow. Uh, Drew and Melody, they're not sure, but they keep talking about how they're, they're like, my gut, our guts are telling us that Yash is the one lying.

[00:22:29] Um, but you know, they're not sure. Uh, Terry is Barrett in denial. I don't even know what this, I have to imagine it a little bit. I think he's mostly in denial about the fact that a power like that could exist. Mm-hmm. Yeah. But he's a fan. He should know. They do. They do exist. Yeah. I mean, we've seen these people talk about the coup d'etat, you know, multiple times that they forget what that meant, you know? Um, so yeah, I, I think he believes it.

[00:22:58] I think he believes it, but he just can't allow himself to really internalize it. Right. Because it, because it would make him feel like maybe this isn't the move that he should be doing. Right. Like if he's like, dang, I am keeping Yash around who will immediately have no choice, but to put up me and my allies because he cannot target the people that I want out the most. It's like, yeah, but if I don't believe him, then it's not actually a thing I have to perceive. Thus, I am not making a move that I should have to question. Thus, this is the right thing I should be doing. I think that's where he's at. Yeah.

[00:23:28] Well, Dee and Angela do approach Taylor with their women first, uh, message. Uh, it's not too late. It's not too late for the women to come together. Uh, they say, Hey, Devin's is going to work with the guys moving forward. And listen, we're not looking to target you or melody or Taylor or sorry, or Yash really, uh, because Yash can't even target us. And now Taylor knows this is the truth because Yash has admitted it to her. She's, uh, she's the only person he admitted it to.

[00:23:57] Um, so she like, I think understands that they are telling the truth when they say, we're not going to target Yash cause he can't target us. So basically the pitch to Taylor is we're going after Barrett and Drew. Those are the two guys we're primarily going after. Uh, but we want to work with you and melody to do so. And we'll leave Yash out of it cause he can't even target us in return. Um, and they asked Taylor if they, if she thinks melody would be down. And she's like, I think so.

[00:24:26] And they're like, yeah, but what about drew? Isn't that a problem for melody? And Taylor's like, nah, she sees through true. Don't worry about that. Yeah. Yeah. Melody is kind of, she's, she's kind of put them in his place now to where she gets it. Right. Like this is a game. I can't really trust him. She likes cuddling with them, but you know, you can cuddle with other people too. Um, so yeah, I don't think Taylor's too worried about melody going back to drew in any real capacity. Uh, but I, I, I do wonder if this is Taylor's best in-road to actually winning the game, you know, like, don't get me wrong. Yash is somebody who will protect her for sure.

[00:24:56] But you know, even Taylor Hale was looking at Michael like, Hey, brother, you gotta go. You know, uh, at some point you are one of my allies and I, and I can trust that you won't put me up, but taking you out is a big deal for anybody who wants to win the game. And so I don't think Taylor should be turning her back on this Alliance anytime soon. I agree. I, I, I do think it would absolutely be in Taylor and which is again, it's like, this is the path she is looking at moving toward.

[00:25:27] Uh, ideally they are evicting Devins. If Devins wins the blockbuster one of Angela or D has to go anyway. And you at that point just take out D but like Taylor and Taylor not only is moving this direction in the sense that she's trying to take out Devins over D. Um, but she's also been working on Angela and will continue to work on Angela, uh, in terms of that, that relationship. So like, I agree. I think this is definitely the path. Uh, I do.

[00:25:54] I think my biggest worry for Taylor is that she won't turn on Yash when she needs to. Uh, I think that she does have like a path to win and it, it includes sitting next to either Angela or Melody in the final two. Um, but Yash is kind of a problem for everyone if he's, if, cause I do think he's pretty close to being able to win out. We talk about this every season. Uh, it was a problem with Michael.

[00:26:21] Um, it, it certainly was a problem when Jag fully did it. Uh, it was a problem when, uh, when McKenzie and Chelsea comped out and it was a problem when, uh, when Morgan and Vince nearly comped out. Uh, so like you do have to worry about this, but, uh, but it's not like, you know, it's trickier for Taylor because she still has to do like, if Yash leaves, it's probably just

[00:26:50] Drew and Barrett that comp out. So like it's, it's a trickier sort of timeline for her. Yeah. My concern is not if she will be able to pull the trigger on the Yash boot. Cause I think she's trying to signal throughout the day that she would, she keeps saying stuff to the effect of Yash doesn't listen to me. You know, I, I think I could talk to Yash and make Yash do something. Yash does his own thing. You know, I think she's trying to put some distance between the two of them. So people would know that she'd be down to clown if it comes down to it.

[00:27:16] But I, my issue is that I think, I think, I still think Yash is too down, too far down the pecking order, you know, uh, him, him making it past Drew and Devin's and Barrett, dear God. I mean, he's got, uh, you know, HOH veto, HOH veto. He's there, you know? And I'm just like, Hey, you might've just missed your opportunity. Yeah. I mean, I, I think quite honestly, I think that, uh, Barrett's preferred eviction order is

[00:27:44] pretty close to Taylor's ideal eviction order, which is, uh, like Taylor's ideal eviction order, I think would be Devin's then drew then Barrett with a final, uh, final five of herself and Angela, uh, and then, and then at that point, hope that one of you, one of the women can take out Yash. But kids like if she leaves in drew or Barrett, like drew or Barrett are probably just going to win a bunch of those comps.

[00:28:15] Uh, whereas Yash will fully keep her safe through the end game, even if he does end up comping out, uh, and then there maybe will be a chance at the end where she could beat him in a quiz or something like she has to take that risk a lot more than somebody like Barrett should. Uh, and so I, I could see that being more of a, of a shot there. Yeah. You got to get the girls together to jump them at some point. Uh, you know, but we've seen that before too. I was in that what, uh, June and Allison season, they, they somehow end up and they're like, God damn it. We got to take out Robert.

[00:28:44] You know, it's like, you get to the end. You're like, how are we going to do this? And then, you know, you just like, you have to win when it counts the most. Uh, and so you, you're going to put somebody in that position. I just would bet on Yash to win more than those other people. Right. And I didn't, the annoying thing too, is that she actually can't count on Yash to keep her safe in the end game because you'd be forced to nominate her the first time he wins an HOH. Get him out. Uh, he's got to go.

[00:29:12] Like I'm, I'm looking at a, uh, and a, uh, path to the end and it is a rocky one. She's got to start winning some competition. What she needs to do is encourage Yash to win the next HOH. Encourage him to, cause they've talked about Drew going next, but they've also talked about Yash being like, you need to do it. Cause I can't win. I think she needs to be like, Yash, you need to win risk me going on the block. If in the, in a, in, in the event that it's a blockbuster and there's a veto, like whatever,

[00:29:40] as long as we can take out one of Drew or Barrett, uh, next week, that would be great for us. And now you're free from the thing. Uh, like I, I think she just has to go for it for that. Like when the, one of the next two HOH is because she can't risk Yash making the end game with the curse still active. Yeah. Yeah. And then, you know, you get Drew or Barrett up there and then you go to the women and like, Hey, this is it. This is us. This is our chance. We talked about this for, this is, we taking out one of the guys next step.

[00:30:09] Yash, you know, we waste, we burned his power. You know, now look, look, now we got to get them out. You know, he just uses HOH, you know, I think there's something there, but she has to get active. It can't be just like, Oh, let's just see what happens. I think you, this is when you have to start moving your pieces around because it's not the, the clearest path to victory for her. Yeah.

[00:30:55] Yeah. The only option. Um, so like, which is something that I kind of assumed would be true considering that if the next time he won HOH final three is an HOH, he has to keep the three of them safe as long as it makes mathematical sense. Um, so quite, quite deadly this power. If you don't burn it.

[00:31:25] Yeah. I, I don't, I don't hate that part of the bribe because the bribe is the bribe, right? The math, the math works out fine, whatever. Uh, what the, the part that I've always taken with the, with the bribe was that, you know, the, the verbiage is like, you know, if it benefits D's game, you know, um, like, uh, if it benefits your game, this is a thing that you, uh, you know, this is how you can use your bribe. D going out. Um, you know, how does, uh, him, you know, keeping the vets off the block, if D goes out

[00:31:54] and it's not at his hands, how does that benefit her game at all? So that's been the clause that I've been kind of looking at as like, you know, once she's gone, let's move on. Yeah. I have seen this. So people have said, because in the original text, it says that it's something to benefit your game. Uh, and, and therefore, if, as you're saying, if D is evicted, it no longer can benefit her game because she's basically dead, right? Like, yeah, she's dead. Even from the grave, it can't be benefit.

[00:32:20] Like you could argue that like, oh, it helping out the icons benefits what D wants, but it's no longer her game. However, we could also go along the path of like, it being binding past D's eviction is more beneficial to D's game because if it breaks when she leaves, then, then, then they're incentivized to evict D. So it's beneficial to D's game that it's binding even if D leaves. Yes.

[00:32:50] Or maybe like it's beneficial to D's game as long as they believe that until she leaves, right? Once she leaves, then you can reveal the real truth, right? Like, okay, she's gone now. So now, you know, now we don't have to worry about that. But I, I do think that if there is a sticking point, it's that because I, like I said, I don't care about, like Yash took the bribe, you know? So if you took a bribe that was a little bit fuzzy, um, you know, that's on you. Uh, but when it gets down to what the final four, final three, the rules that they didn't

[00:33:16] change for at least for that part of it, if D still in the game, you should still have to honor the D portion for sure. But it's to me, the D D from the grave portion is where I'm calling. I don't know. Yeah. That's, uh, really the best case for Yash is like I said, either winning soon or maybe like the best way to burn this would be winning the final four HOH because there's nothing you can do to keep anybody safe at that point. Yeah.

[00:33:44] Uh, it's really like the two opposite HOHs of the final three and the final four, where the final four is just safety, no power. And final three is like the most power ever. Um, so you really need to win that final four one. Yeah, for sure. Uh, or, or just evict the final icon at the final four by winning the veto if you can or something. Right. But, uh, who knows? All right. Anyway, Devon's talks to Barrett.

[00:34:10] Uh, they have one of Devon's is sort of classic, uh, post big game move conversations where, uh, he's like, it's fine. You know, we're going to be friends. Uh, Barrett tells him I was truly crossover strong. Truly. I, I, you guys had my game for the longest time. Um, but, uh, you know, it, it played out the way it played out.

[00:34:37] Uh, and Devon's like, I understand, but just, just being upfront with you, I'm not going to be going after Yash because Yash is contractually obligated to work with me, whether he likes it or not. Uh, but Hey, if things play out, you know, there's a world where we end up working together again. And, you know, this is, uh, a classic, uh, classic Devon's line. Um, Barrett says that, uh, Yash is still saying it only applies to D.

[00:35:04] So, um, I don't know if he's actually contractually obligated to work with you. And Devon's like, listen, I don't really care anymore what you believe. Uh, nor should he, right? Like it's actually in Devon's interest for Barrett to believe that it only applies to D because if he knows it applies to all three, then it doesn't matter who leaves. But if it only applies to D Barrett should be incentivized to take out D although that's not really happening. And also I told you, I've told you, I've given you all the information I can give you.

[00:35:33] I've tried to, uh, to sway your opinion. I've argued with you. I've debated. We've, we've had all the conversations. If you don't want to believe me and then Yash ends up putting your ass on the block next, don't come looking at us. Like, well, I didn't think that. No, we already told you, baby, you, you gotta do what you gotta do. You know? And so I think at some point you gotta be done talking with it. Like we've been talking to this bribe to death since, uh, you know, that first we were like, oh, this bribe is nothing. And then D goes and like, just finds the perfect loophole to make this thing so special and

[00:36:00] part of the game that like, yeah, we've talked it through, but they are talking it through. They're tired of talking about it. I'm like, Hey, a part of me kind of like, Hey, do what you want to do and see what happens. That's kind of where I am. Again, the little petty monster on my shoulder is kind of like, all right, fuck around and find out. That's pretty much where he's at. Uh, and Devins is like, I mean, this is the Devins on the bottom that I think like Rob in particular has really wanted to see. Um, because, you know, we talked yesterday about how, uh, he, he was sort of like in the

[00:36:30] process of falling from grace. Um, and, uh, and it was like really getting to him, but now he's sort of like landed, he's recovered and he's back to like magnanimous Devins, who is going to find whatever angle he can and have conversations about how we got to let bygones be bygones. And, uh, and also tried to tries to trap Barrett a little bit here, like asking, you know, who the renom would have been.

[00:36:59] Uh, and Barrett's like, I don't really know. I don't really know. Doesn't give him anything. Um, and Barrett does also explain his conversation with Angela when he told her she was going up and she was like, I'm a bigger threat than Devins. Um, which was very funny. Uh, but, uh, basically Devins tries here doesn't seem to make much progress, but it's, it's a good try. I like Devins playing from this angle as well.

[00:37:25] I just didn't enjoy Devins, uh, you know, at the top of the structure because to me, my biggest issue was, was that he was so soft. He would have moments of like, let me show my teeth. Let me make the cutthroat move. But then he would always massage it with the dad oil, you know, like, Oh yeah, well, you know, you know, there's no hard feelings. I'd love to work with you in the future. No, that's not the big brother that I want to watch. I like the idea that you blindside these people and then you sit in, you sit in the pile of blood. Right.

[00:37:52] But Devins, he like the, like the wrong blind side, for example, he just completely just, Oh, it's fine. You know? And there's no hard feelings. And there's nothing, there's nothing, you know, like, and I love you like, you know, you're like a brother and I will be best for, I hate that so much. At least this gives him license to kind of just throw what, uh, throw stuff at the wall to see what sticks. You, you preferred, uh, yesterday's Devins. No, not really. About everything. Oh yeah. Yeah. A little bit, a little bit.

[00:38:18] So, so my, my issue is that I want to see whatever you do, you give it a hundred percent. And I felt like everything he did prior with these blind sides was just so half measuring, even the Kamu thing. It was just like, Oh, you know, well, yeah, you know, and then I got to use the, I'm sorry. Is it? I ain't like that. Say, say it with your chest, damn it. You know, that's kind of how I feel. And so for me, I just always felt like he was trying to be the cool dad every time he was going to do something cutthroat. But the cool dad would sneak up and say like, Hey, remember, you know, America's watching

[00:38:47] and you are Danny Tanner here, you know, like, but I'm like, Hey, no, take that. Take that dad, you know, shit, move on. You know, like, so here, I think he has a lot less to, uh, to kind of maintain when it comes to that dad. He's still trying to do it, you know, but he's using it now as more like a guilt tactic, you know, as opposed to like trying to save face. All right. Well, uh, this is not going to be, uh, the end of his pitching. Of course he does talk to drew.

[00:39:12] Um, and, uh, it's, it's funny cause drew is like, Hey, you should pitch to Taylor and Yash that you want to go after me and Barrett and, uh, and Malady. Um, and Devin's like, Oh, good, good idea. Good idea. Uh, like he hasn't already been doing that because it's real. He is going after them. This is where we at. Like, it's not, what are we doing? Uh, drew of course still wants Devin's to stay over D.

[00:39:41] Uh, and he should, to be clear. Like, uh, he does still have a better relationship with Evans than D. Um, D and Angela though, continue their campaign to melody. Uh, Hey, melody, you need to be wary of the boys, the girls. We should be working together. Uh, and melody's like, I already am like, uh, don't worry. Like I've been putting in work to make sure that they're like turning on each other and that, that they're going to take Evans out. Like I got this covered.

[00:40:11] Um, and like, she's not wrong. Like she has been putting in the work to make sure Devins is the target. She has also been putting in some work to make sure that they turn on Yash and to provide tension between both drew and Barrett. I've been very hard on melody all season because, you know, she, my issue with melody is always that she talks such a big game about everybody else's game. Why? You're so stupid. That's a bitch move. Uh, you know, she puts on that, that, that hoodie and becomes Eminem.

[00:40:40] She's not melody anymore. You know, she started, you know, dropping like dead ass broke dead ass, you know, uh, Hey, calm down, you know, uh, gangster. But you know, for now she is starting to look at the end game as okay. What can I do here? And, uh, you know, these conversations that they're having, uh, about the all girls and stuff like that with melody, she's not running that back to them. You know, those are some certain things she is keeping close to her chest. And I like that. I liked it. It does seem like she's being a little bit more self-interested now because I don't think she can trust any of these people at all.

[00:41:10] You know, I think she needs to make sure that she's looking out for herself. Yeah. And, and like, I mean, genuinely, you know, it's not like she's like running the game right now or anything, but like, she is doing what she said just to them that she is like, uh, like I said, she's been trying to plant a bunch of doubt in Yash when it comes to Barrett. She doesn't need to with Drew. Um, and she's also like really been driving that wedge between Drew and Barrett, uh, while

[00:41:38] getting closer to, uh, to Barrett saying like, he's her guy. And, um, and, you know, staying up late with Drew every night and then intentionally kind of like flirting and cuddling with Barrett in front of Drew and making him jealous. And then Drew's talking to her about it the night before. And she's going to be doing a little bit more of that tonight. Uh, and, um, and you know, while also furthering her relationship with Taylor and with Yash,

[00:42:06] um, it's, it's been good stuff. Like, is it too little too late when it comes to the perception of her game? If she doesn't end up winning any competitions, probably. Uh, but it is all landing at the moment. Uh, you know, we'll, we'll see if it lasts as well. Uh, every time somebody's, you know, done anything in this house, they just immediately get caught and punished for it. But, um, but it's happening.

[00:42:31] And to the point where there's this whole thing that melody does with Drew, they swap clothes. Uh, they dress like one another. Um, and, uh, and like, it's this whole thing. And, uh, and, and Barrett makes a comment. He says, uh, he says, Drew, I'm so, I hope you don't mind that I've, I have a little bit of a crush on melody now after seeing her in that fit. And it's a joke.

[00:43:01] But is it a joke? Because there's definitely some, some vibes happening. And I think some vibes that have been happening over the last few days to slash week ish, uh, that like, I've seen some people speculate like this, Barrett have a little bit of a crush on melody. Is that, is that even perhaps like where some of the tension between Barrett and Drew like comes from?

[00:43:28] Uh, I've seen that speculation and I was kind of like, I don't know, like that seems, but now he's saying it out loud later tonight. They're going to be, they're going to be pretty cuddly and close. And, um, and Drew's going to actively be jealous and talk about it. Like this is becoming a little bit of a thing. Yeah. Barrett and Mallory were married. Follow me on this one. Then Mallory dies.

[00:43:58] Her best friend, Melody is so sad. She needs consoling. The only person who understands the pain she's going through is her best friend's ex-husband. They find each other and they just find comfort with each other. You know what I'm saying? Like this, this, this feels like a platonic friendship. You know, we've seen so many of these on Big Brother before. I think last season, you and I talked about platonic friendships in the Big Brother house and what they look like.

[00:44:24] And if they involve putting your toes on someone's pepperoni nipples, then that's, that's what you do for your platonic friend in that situation. Now, do I do that with my platonic? No, not, that's not really how I get down. But again, Barrett just lost his wife. No, he's lost her best friend. If they need to lean on each other for support, Taryn, who am I? Who are me? Who are me to stand in the way? I, I guess so. I guess, uh, I guess. Damn, damn, damn.

[00:44:54] Exactly. Y'all don't love love. Hot damn. Hot damn. Uh, sorry for my, my, my random aside, but that's just kind of how I feel like, cause I feel like it's not just random. It's not like Barrett just woke up one day and started seeing Melody. I mean, it's, somebody was in the way, you know, and now that she's gone, sometimes you just need somebody to lean on. That's all.

[00:48:42] Well, Melody does talk to Drew and Barrett after her conversation with Dee and Angela, and she tells them, hey, Devin's is trying to get the veto used. Again, doing what she told Dee and Angela she's been doing, which is making sure they stay focused on Devin's. She says there's no way she could keep Devin's if he stays on the block. And they're like, we get that. Barrett says it probably won't even matter all this talk anyway, because one of them, one of the two of them is surely going to win the blockbuster.

[00:49:12] And, and she, she, again, she also talks about Yash and how she's still concerned about Yash's bribe. She says they really need to drill the ceasefire thing into Yash. So hopefully he just throws the HOH. We don't have to find out how true that bribe situation really is. So again, doing all the things she said she was doing when she was talking to Dee and Angela. Of course, Dee and Angela saw her go upstairs and went, ah, Melody. She's ratting us out to Barrett right now. We know it. We know it.

[00:49:43] This is what happens when you don't have a good game relationship with somebody until you need them. Cause you don't know what their true intentions are. You don't, you haven't spent enough time with them. So it's like, yeah, you're floating ideas that you like, you think it's a good idea to float, but you also know this person has every reason in the world not to believe you or to work with you. You know, don't, don't get me wrong. There are strategic reasons for sure that they, that she could probably be dragged in your area, but also socially y'all just have never been that tight. And so, yeah, she might go back to where she feels more comfortable and they should be suspicious of her, even though she's doing exactly what she's saying.

[00:50:13] I don't, I don't think I can fault them with not being able to question their own, uh, you know, type of influence they have on her. Cause they shouldn't have much. I mean, listen, they question everything. Uh, their radar is so broken. Um, that sometimes it's, sometimes it's right. Uh, but only because they're always suspicious. They did to themselves. They did to themselves. They could have established trust. I think at one point D is talking about, I don't know if it was yesterday or the day before or whatever.

[00:50:40] D is like sitting around talking about how, how the, the icons had this game on lock and how they would just get bored and just like, Hey, what if we just, just broke the trust with these people and just blindsided this person and left this person out of the boat and all this other stuff. It's like you dug this grave where you can't trust anybody cause they can't trust you. Had you said, okay, we got this big ass Alliance. We just going to whittle it down as far as we can and see, you know, and do the committee style Alliance, the brigade, all that kind of stuff.

[00:51:10] You know, you probably wouldn't be having these conversations as hard or as intensely, but no, you've given so many reasons for people to go against their word to you that. Yeah. I wouldn't trust you either. Yeah. Well, Devin's continues his, uh, pitching for the day. He talks to Yash again saying, uh, Hey, if you use the veto on me, that would be huge moment.

[00:51:34] You know, like it would be in all the Tik TOK reels, you know, like, uh, that, you know, you don't get that many opportunities to make a big moment like that. Um, and, uh, he says, and just so you know, I'm there would have put you up as a re you know that, right? You were 26 seconds away from being re now. Um, and Yash is like, listen, I, I, I might, I could be down, but I need to talk to Barrett

[00:52:01] because I can't use the veto without knowing who the replacement nominee would be. Cause if it's true, sure. But if it's Taylor, uh, obviously that couldn't really work. Um, and so, uh, so Devin's is trying this melody asks Yash afterward. He, she's like, so what was, what was Devin's pitching you? Uh, and he truthfully tells her the pitches that he's going after Barrett and drew and that the veto should be used on him. If drew is the renom, but Yash says, I'm not considering it.

[00:52:29] Like, uh, he tried Devin's tried, but it's honestly not even worth having the conversation. Um, he, what he was interested in, of course, was that, uh, Devin's seems to think that he shouldn't trust drew drew does make Yash nervous. He says the ceasefire was the most convenient thing for drew because none of us have put each other on the block, but drew has put two of us on the block. Uh, so great for drew that we call a ceasefire at this point. She tries to play defense a little bit.

[00:52:59] She says, I also don't trust drew, but I, I do think that's a good idea. He's been spooked into working with us. Like he doesn't really have a choice at this point. Uh, and if he did turn, like I'd be so done with him. Um, but Yash doesn't really drop it because we know that Yash wants to target drew next week. And so he's trying to make sure he lays the groundwork here in my opinion. Um, so he keeps pressing on this drew.

[00:53:28] Uh, he's a fraud. He's done this. He's done that. Uh, I'm really worried. He's going to turn on us. And, and melody keeps trying to like dodge and weave and kind of be like, I agree, but I agree, but D still a bigger threat. Right. Um, and so she's at the end of it, she's kind of just like, you know, it'd just be, it'd be so great if it was just double eviction. We just get rid of Devin's Andy in one night. He's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure.

[00:53:54] So one of those conversations where they're like, there's, there's an underlying thing happening that they're not actively addressing, which is that Yash wants to target drew next and she wants to target D next, but they're not specifically talking about that. Yash isn't entertaining the idea of taking Devin's down to put drew up. But if Barrett was into it, should Yash be entertaining this? I, this is what I have. I, the second, uh, these nominations were made, I was like, if Yash wins this veto, I

[00:54:23] wonder if he should use it. Um, and I think the answer is if Barrett was down for it a thousand percent, he should. Um, if Barrett is not down for it, he can't. Uh, so like it comes down to Barrett and Barrett is not down for it. Uh, so he can't really do it, but like really, I mean, if Taylor wasn't available as the renom, it might even be worth just forcing the issue and enforcing drew on the block.

[00:54:52] Uh, but he can't because Taylor is there and obviously Barrett is just not going to nominate, uh, true. Um, so it's not really something he can do, but it's certainly something he should consider. Like, yes, the vets are a trio. They're dangerous, but they're not coming after Yash because he can't nominate them. So, uh, you know, there's, there's some credence to the idea that getting drew out is better.

[00:55:21] If, if Yash is not planning to win the next day to age, uh, then it leaves drew is like way too likely to potentially win. And that leaves Yash in another spot where he has to win a veto. Um, at the same time though, he needs to like, he needs to get rid of these icons because he can't nominate them. Um, so like that's tricky, but either way, like, yeah, getting drew on the block and, and further ruining the relationship between Barrett and drew would be great for Yash. I would have loved to see the push, you know, like Yash really does kind of dismisses it,

[00:55:50] but I would love to see what happens. But at that point, I think it's melody's influence versus Yash's influence over Barrett. Right. Cause melody is going to be saying, no, what do you, what do you, why would you put up true? He's he's good with us. I think we got him back on our side and Yash is going to be saying like, no, he's not good with you. He wants to take you out. He was going to take you out last time. I promise. Look, you got to believe me. Um, so, but I would love to see the try. You know, I just, I feel like because we're coming toward the end game, I would like to see people playing a little bit more aggressively. Yeah. And to be clear, it shouldn't be on Devin's or D it should be on Angela.

[00:56:19] Uh, it's the exact, it's the exact same thing that drew wanted to do. Use the veto on Angela, put drew on the block. And now you can still take out one of the icons, but you've like just ruined Barrett's relationship with drew. Uh, great for Yash, no downside. Um, but, but Barrett's not stupid enough to do that. So he's not going to, um, so, uh, Angela talks with Taylor again, Taylor's been working on this relationship. Angela is also working on this relationship.

[00:56:48] Angela's strategy for the week on a personal level. She explained this to D is just going up to people and being like, I just don't want to be blindsided. You're going to tell me if I'm going to be blindsided. Right. Uh, so she does that to Taylor. Um, and Taylor's like, I promise I'll let you know if I hear anything. Uh, Angela talks more about how the women should work together. Taylor brings up like, why did you, why did you bring up the bribe thing right before noms? Like it, it kind of, you know, struck me as a bit convenient, the timing.

[00:57:17] Um, and Angela's like, well, we were, we were about to go on the block. We thought maybe we could get Yash on the block, but it was Devon's idea. Devon's is the one that came up with the idea. Um, and I don't blame Yash for lying about it. Like, of course he'd lie. And Taylor says, I don't either. So, uh, just there again, continuing to work on this relationship. Keep it in mind. Yeah. There are definitely moments where I can look at Angela and Taylor and say like, there could be something here.

[00:57:43] I think there was a, the moment where Taylor's telling Angela, like, Hey, towards the beginning of the game, it just didn't feel like you were open to working with me. You were kind of working with the ops Haley. And so because of that, you know, it just never really felt like the most welcoming position. Taylor's talked about this before, where when she reads the vibe is not welcoming. She goes and does her own thing. Like I'm gonna go to my pod. I'm gonna kick it with the people I like. Uh, it's not the best gameplay, but she's, she's identified why she was doing it. And so with her even being like, you know, I would have been down to work with you.

[00:58:12] I think she's still leaving that door open that if Angela can be of use to her, she's down. Yeah. So Angela goes and talks to D. Um, again, this is when they say like, ah, that melody, she went right upstairs after we talked to her. I bet she ratted us out to bear it. Um, and they talk about how they like Taylor more than melody, uh, and how they would vote for Taylor over melody in a final two, or at least D would, but boy, would they not want to have to do that?

[00:58:40] Uh, Angela would rather walk right out of jury than have to vote between one of those two. Um, they also talk about drew and how he is definitely behind all of Barrett's decisions and how they would definitely vote for drew over Barrett in the final two. In fact, they'd vote for drew over anyone in the final two. They'd vote for drew over Yash in the final two because Hey, Yash was sleeping for the first half of the game.

[00:59:09] Drew, he was always hustling. He was always working. Angela says drew. He's like a Dan geese sling. Hold on. Come on, bro. Are you, I don't know how to feel about this because on the one hand, I want to, I want to analyze the idea that, you know, they're like, Hey, yeah, if, if, if it's drew in the final two, we, we, we are going to be pulling for him. We're going to be voting for him because if this is somebody you feel like, Oh yeah, this

[00:59:39] is my friend in the game. They've earned my vote because of just proximity. We've been so close together. Y'all been targeting drew at every chance you could get. Y'all have not trusted him at all. You bad mouth them to everybody. So I don't really believe them when they say this, Terry. This is the most ridiculous storyline that like all season they have been, there's a drew that exists in their mind that is completely separate from the drew that exists in reality.

[01:00:04] And it's, it's, it's completely destroyed all of their games that they, that they refuse to trust the guy that is the most trustworthy to them for them. Um, and now it is, it is circled back around somehow to where their paranoia about drew.

[01:00:28] That is all false is causing them to, to now want to vote for drew to win in the end because they think he's doing so much more than he actually is. And there's a world where drew wins this game as in their minds, the Dan Giesling who played them all and was behind all of Barrett's moves and was playing the whole house the whole time, despite him having done basically none of that.

[01:00:57] This is so stupid. Yeah. When they said it, I was like, I don't think y'all even believe that, you know, I think Angela's kind of leaning into, well, you know, we're friends and I want to vote for my friend, blah, blah, blah. But to me, this feels like Barrett pissed you off most recently. And so because of that, you've now had to, you know, rationalize, well, we can't possibly vote for Barrett. We're kind of bitter right now. I mean, don't get me wrong. That could change. Taylor is going to point that out. But for them to just be like, nah, Drew is the guy. Drew is the guy. Yeah. It's always been Drew, man. Yeah. That's our guy.

[01:01:27] Well, that's our friend. He's also strategic. He's also social. Like he's got, he's got the full package. Like Angela, I seen the way you was acting about voting for Chelsea. I don't trust your votes. No way. I don't trust the way you look at the game anyway. Sorry. But I do think that because Barrett is the most recent person to have burned them, the person who put them in this position, they're not ready to conceptualize the idea of rewarding him for this behavior quite yet. And the thing is, they think that Drew's doing it too. They think that Drew is behind it and that he's playing in their faces.

[01:01:56] But because they think he's been doing more, it's just, it's wild. And like, you know, I was talking the other day about how they keep saying in the house, I'd rather be lucky than good. And I really feel like that is going to be the motto of the season. The culture. So many of the players have had those moments where like their bad gameplay put them in a position to be evicted and then they got lucky and didn't get evicted.

[01:02:24] Uh, and nobody has benefited from that more than Drew this season. And if Drew ends up winning because they mistakenly believe that he was a better player than he was because of their paranoia all season, you'd really rather be lucky than good. You know, the blockbuster really does allow you to stumble your ass into a part of the game that you had no business at. We watched Keanu and Kelly, who both should have been pre-jurors, uh, go all the way toward the end of the game.

[01:02:53] I mean, this is, this is where we start to lose players like that, right? They, they just outlasted the Grim Reaper way too long because of the blockbuster. It gives you too many different outs and too many different win scenarios. And sometimes you just, like you said, you just stumble into it. And I think this season is no different. I think that there are a few people who, you know, based on their own, uh, gameplay, if you take the blockbuster out, they're gone, you know, Devin's included, especially after last week. And so, yeah, I, it wouldn't be the most, I, you know, it wouldn't be the most outlandish

[01:03:23] thing in the world if that you start to reward players who make it because you just aren't able to get them out. And then at that point, the narrative just kind of forms around it, around the outcome instead of, you know, the outcome being the opposite. Well, it's, it's something we talked about a lot. And now at this point, it was a literal decade ago that we talked about this, but when Nicole beat Paul, uh, in large part because of Devon's vote, who was like, Nicole did more.

[01:03:50] Um, we talked a lot about how like Nicole didn't necessarily do more. Uh, in fact, she kind of did less than Paul in terms of like active moving in the game, but she was called out for doing more a lot. She was called a snake constantly. Uh, people always thought she was moving in ways that she wasn't always moving, which is not to say, of course, that Nicole didn't play a good game.

[01:04:15] Um, but like there was a, a slightly false perception that she had been more devious than she actually had been in the season because of how often people suspected her of doing things and how often they called her out on doing things. And so, uh, it's, it's, it's, it's interesting that we might, I guess, I guess, again, have a situation like that.

[01:04:42] But, uh, but, but in this case, I think much more creatures. Yeah. Yeah. Like you can honestly say Nicole played a good game for what we drew. I'm like, I don't, I don't, I don't think I can say that yet. I don't think of the things that I've seen, it's been some ups and downs, but good is not how I would describe Drew's game thus far. Hmm. Well, uh, then we get toward, uh, the end of the night here, um, at least toward the end of the night.

[01:05:08] Um, there's, there's a couple of instances of this, but there's one that happens first where, uh, they're upstairs in the, in the HOH room and it's Taylor Barrett drew and, and melody and, uh, and melody and, and barrett they're in the bed together, kind of cuddly meddling and bear melody and barrett. Uh, and drew is, uh, literally, literally sitting in the chair, you know, the chair right

[01:05:36] next to the bed, the chair, the chair, the chair where Chuck used to sit, the Chuck, the Chuck chair. Yeah. Where Chuck's at. And he is, I kid you not just kind of like staring at them, cuddling in the bed. Did, did Barrett have his sunglasses on at this point? I'm not sure. Actually, I don't remember. The reason I asked is because if Barrett is just like behind the sunglasses, staring at

[01:06:06] him, you know, like looking at him, looking at them like, yeah, it's very awkward. It's awkward. It's very awkward. Uh, and eventually, uh, melody leaves. She's like called away, uh, or something. Um, and Taylor's talking to Barrett and drew Taylor explains how Devins is trying to get Yash to use the veto, even though that would obviously mean that Barrett just puts her up on the block. Right, Barrett. Right.

[01:06:36] And it's like, well, of course, of course. Uh, like Barrett, like, uh, I did feel like she was like the smallest bit testing the waters like, ah, ha ha. It's so funny for Devins to do that. Um, they're talking about how Devins is like, he basically is drunk. Barrett says, you know what? I want to listen to Terrence update on this day and have, and see him explain that Devins was drunk on one glass of house wine. I mean, Taryn, you haven't talked about it, but yeah, that's it.

[01:07:04] Now, now Taylor doing this like, oh yeah. Cause you would never, you would never use the veto. Right. And, and put me up like that's, you wouldn't do that. She's doing this in front of drew though. Right. Drew is right there. To be clear. It's like, I'm putting an emphasis on this that I don't think she'd like, she was like idiot drunk Devins is, is, is talking to me, uh, trying to get me to convince Yash to use

[01:07:30] the veto, even though obviously I would be the replacement nominee, not drew. Like, what is he thinking? Right. Yeah. But why are you saying this in front of drew? Like if drew's out of the room, I think then we can really have a conversation about this, right? Like, so hypothetically Barrett, if you were to, if Yash was to use the veto and would you put me up or did you have another option who was sitting in that chair over there that you could probably put up? Like, I think if you're going to push this where you push.

[01:07:58] I, I don't think she intended to really push all that much, I guess is, is my, my answer to that. I think that like, you know, it's, uh, it was much more so just kind of like, look how funny this is. She's like, it's so crazy. The crazy, funny thing that happened is crazy, crazy thing. I'm just like, but Taylor, if you do this when he's out the room, maybe we can, maybe we can get his ass out. Yeah. Uh, well, um, drew goes downstairs.

[01:08:26] He talks with Angela and D, um, Angela is upset with Barrett. She feels like he's been avoiding her and hiding up in his HOH room all week. Um, and D says she thinks Barrett's going to regret not nominating Yash. Uh, she's now targeting Barrett over Yash. Yash is the best player in the house, but he can't nominate them. So they're not going to go after Yash. Um, and you know, saying all of this, of course, again, in front of Drew, uh, not that

[01:08:54] Drew needs any more incentive to go after Yash, but they, they still believe that Drew is the one coming after them. So, uh, you know, but Drew goes back upstairs. They all hang out. The new players hang out upstairs for a long, long time, hours and hours and hours. And Melody's back in there and she's back on the bed with Barrett in front of Drew. Uh, and there's still like, she's rubbing his arm.

[01:09:21] He's, you know, putting it, burying his head like into her shoulder. Uh, and Drew's just kind of watching them. And then Drew eventually like also gets on the bed, uh, when Barrett leaves, but then Barrett comes back and then Barrett lays back on the bed. And now Melody's laying between the two of them. And, you know, she's like laying on Drew's leg and she's like touching Barrett's arm. And then Barrett turns over, uh, and buries his head in her shoulder again.

[01:09:49] And then at one point Barrett reaches over and touches Drew and Drew's like, I don't like the vibe in this bed right now. It's getting a little challenger Z. Uh, and Yash is like, you guys talk about that movie too much, bro. Hey, they really do. And, and, and I will, I will have a problem with that right now too, because y'all talk about it. Now be about it. You in the bed, y'all doing all this touching.

[01:10:15] And now you want to do always the first one to be like, Barrett, what if we kiss Devin's open your bratty mouth? You know, like he's always the one initial, initial. I think I saw that online. Maybe I didn't, maybe, maybe he didn't say that. I don't know. But you know, he's always initiating this stuff. Yeah. Yeah. He was like, if, if Drew's the only person I ended up kissing in this house, uh, that would be wild. He's always talking about it, but now y'all laid up like Beth, Tyshawn and, uh, and, uh,

[01:10:44] Jensen, uh, big brother can't not. And now you don't want to party. Now the vibes is off. Like, Hey, how bad do you want to win this game? Do you lock in lock in? Okay. Cause Barrett is pushing you out. Look, look at this. Yo girl is late. The girl that Zingbot just told everybody has put you in the friend zone is laid up with your buddy, with your bestie. And you just watching in the corner, see there, you know, get yours in that bed and start cuddling back. You know what I'm saying? Like, Oh man, Drew fight back.

[01:11:14] This is bad gameplay. Put me on the, on the round table again. Give it this man. A one. Yeah. Somebody in the chat was like, wait, Yash was there. Yash and Taylor, both. Taylor never moved. They're sitting in chairs. And, and the three of them, they're on the bed doing all this. So it's a whole thing. Again, this, this lasts for hours. They're talking about all kinds of stuff. But when they finally disperse, it's like 3am.

[01:11:45] Drew and Melody go downstairs to the bathroom. And he whispers in her ear, you better pick me over Barrett. And she goes, you'd better pick me over Barrett. Says, you don't think I would? Just, you don't think I would? Says, listen, Melody, you're, you're all I have. Oh, please. You're, you're the only person I trust a hundred at this point. She's like, all right, okay.

[01:12:13] And then they start walking away. And he, he whispers again, kind of like, can you stop? Can you stop with the flirting? It's like, you want me to? He's like, yeah, it's actually kind of getting on my nerves now. It's like, actually? Like, yeah, but like, I mean, unless it's for real, but like, I hope not. It's like, all right, I'll stop, I'll stop. Um, Melody, you know, I'll give you a things. You cooked a little bit, but make no mistake. Make no mistake.

[01:12:42] If I was Drew, I'd flip all this shit over. What? What do you mean? Y'all gonna be laid up in front of me. I went to HOH and I'm putting your ass on the block. Y'all put, sit up there next to each other. Y'all like each other so goddamn much. Damn. So here, damn. Have the block. Have the block busted together. Let me see. I take my whole game. You playing in my face like this. I got to pull you to the side and beg you to stop flirting with my homeboy on TV. When did Drew lock this down? Hey, he been trying. The Zingbot says she friends on him. Okay. Okay. Zingbot can say what he wants. Hey, who I'm gonna believe?

[01:13:12] Your daily live feed updates with, uh, you know, in your years of experience or Zingbot lying ass. He do be talking out his ass sometimes, but make no mistake. If I'm Drew, my ego is way too big. You not finna pull me to the side and tell like, I have to pull you to the side. Hey, would you please start flirting with my friend? It's making me jealous. It's not, not, you're going to be on the block begging me to save you is what's going to happen. I don't care if I lose the game. You're crazy. I would never do stand up. Stand up.

[01:13:43] Kirsten in the chat. Okay. Okay. Chappelle men's rights. Right. Listen, I mean, I support men's rights. Not all the wrongs, but you know, I think you got the right to be petty. Bear being petty. I would be petty too. Let's, let's see. Let's play your petty. Take my petty. And let's see who's going to take it to hell. I'm taking it to hell. Hot damn. Hell yeah. You, you hear it.

[01:14:11] I had to put on my melody voice real quick. Dead ass. Cheat. Well, that's where we end the night. Chappelle would have ended it differently, but, uh, but that's how Drew ends the night. I grabbed that tea kettle here and I got to wake up. Wake the fuck. Wake up. Wake up. Ain't no more goddamn cuddling in this motherfucker. What? You begging? Okay. Chappelle. Chappelle. It's a room. It's a room with five people, right?

[01:14:41] Taylor and the osher there. Barrett and melody. They're cuddling in the bed. You're in the Chuck chair. How do you resolve this situation? Did you find yourself in the Chuck chair to begin with? That's the problem. We got to go to the root. Okay. You can't just like jump to I'm in the Chuck chair. Why am I in the Chuck chair? What? Okay. You were sitting in the Chuck chair before. It was just a regular hangout. Then all of a sudden Barrett comes down and starts, starts cuddling. He not locked in. He not locked in. The moment that you see them together, you're supposed to,

[01:15:10] Hey, what y'all doing? What's all that? Y'all look real close. Are y'all the showmance? You should have put that. You should have. What? Said fire to the rain. You know what I'm saying? I don't know, man. It's just me. But it couldn't be me. Could never be me. Sorry. Listen, this is the Chappelle school of dating and relationships. Put me on the round table. That's not. This is not dating. This is not a relationship. This is shenanigans. Put me on the round table. Damn it. I'm coming back with a one. Yeah. This is shenanigans. Please.

[01:15:40] I had enough reasons to be rooting against Drew, but damn it. You got to do something. All right. Well, anything else you want to bring up from yesterday, Chappelle? Shoot. They was making Labor Day plans, Taryn. That's always cool. I love to see what they talking about the Labor Day plans outside of the house, what they would normally be doing, what they're going to do after the game. Oh, yeah. We blew through as a party and we did all this other stuff. You got Labor Day plans outside of this? No.

[01:16:08] We got a round table tonight. Mm-hmm. I'm doing an interview today. Oh, damn. Yeah. I got to go watch the feeds. See, that's why I do it. I do a live feed update with you in the morning so I can have the rest of my Labor Day. I saw Taylor talking about some HBCU football rooting for FAMU. Spoiler alert, Taylor. They got drove. But my alma mater definitely beat the pants off of Texas Southern University. So, ha-ha. But, yeah, you know, I know we don't like to go touch grass as Big Brother fans.

[01:16:38] But, you know, if you got time, take your phone. If you got the ability, you know, if you're unable, cool. Don't touch no grass. Do whatever you got to do. But have a good Labor Day, everybody. That's what I want to talk about. So, there you go. Have a good Labor Day. End it with us on the roundtable tonight. I will also be back tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern, to update you on everything that happens today on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. The veto ceremony will be happening. Of course, Yash will not be using the veto. That is the plan.

[01:17:07] And we'll probably see more of the campaigning between Devin's and Dee and Angela. But I would assume that things stay relatively locked in. The Survivor is no longer in charge of the vote. So, we could be getting a more straightforward Big Brother style vote where it's not just going to flip randomly. But, hey, who knows? Who knows? Yes, I'm laboring for Labor Day. It ain't right. It just ain't right. Yes.

[01:17:36] So, that is what we have for you here today. Tune into the roundtable tonight. I'll be releasing the survey as soon as this podcast ends because we don't expect anything to change. So, check that out. Check out my Patreon where I'm doing all kinds of fun stuff. Jet lag has been crushing this season. I'm doing reactions to that over on my Patreon. Chappelle, what do you got going on? You can catch me on The Slop. I'm sure I'll have much more to say about this fake thruple that's going on in the house pissing me off.

[01:18:06] But that's behind the Patreon paywall. Patreon.com slash RHAP, I believe is how you get to that. Join the Patreon community. There's a lot of cool stuff, but they keep me hidden and they don't let me talk to Taryn all the time. You know what I'm saying? So, put me behind the paywall. Go check it out on The Slop. And then on Recap Kickback, Mari and Matt Scott and I, we talked about Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black, Season 3, Episode 1 last week. And then we are doing a full season recap this week as well. Chantel, Francis and I, we have been talking about the Flavor of Love Cinematic Universe every Sunday live.

[01:18:35] And so, that should be up on YouTube and on your podcast feed, you know, very soon. And so, check that out too. And then just make sure you follow all the other content that I'm making. You know, YX Loss with David Bloomberg every weekend, talking about why these players are losing. We just talked about, you know, obviously the last two people who went out back to back. And so, we'll be talking about one of the icons this week, it seems. But you have to make sure you follow me on all social media platforms at Recap Kickback to keep up with all I have going on and more. All right. Well, that's what we've got for you then.

[01:19:04] Thank you all so much for joining us here today.
