[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning Welcome to our live feed update for August 24th I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday On the Big Brother 28 Live Feeds, it was day 48 in the house and it was a big day, it was a long day

[00:01:11] It was, there was a lot, there was a lot to get through, a lot to talk about Some chaotic events played out and we have a lot to talk about and I'm here today on my own To talk to you about all of it So get ready for story time today As you all know, Dee is the HOH, she nominated Drew, Lala and Taylor

[00:01:40] Drew was the original target but after his shenanigans at the nomination ceremony he became not the target Then Lala won the veto which meant that she's coming off the block and Dee needed to name a replacement Devon's really wanted Mallory as the replacement Because Mallory is the most dangerous threat left in the house that can still kind of target them With Mallory becoming the intended target of the vets

[00:02:08] This felt like a good idea from both Angela and Dee, so this becomes the plan And that is kind of where we start the day today With the idea of how do we convince Drew and Barrett that this is okay That we're nominating Mallory

[00:02:29] Dee had decided that she wanted to tell them about her deal with Yash but leave out some specifics So we'll get through that and we'll talk through the day here today We started pretty slow for a little while There's a little tiny little bit of drama The tiniest bit of drama with some bacon Because Devon's wanted to make some bacon

[00:02:59] And Dee had some bacon And he was asking about it in front of Lala and Melody And Lala and Melody both had Opinions about the bacon I guess Lala was like You know, you can make the bacon now Or you could wait until Thursday Wait until Thursday

[00:03:29] And Melody was like And Dee was like Oh, I get it Okay, okay And then Melody was like But it's Sunday Sunday morning Lala was like What about it? It's Sunday morning Yeah, and it's a beautiful day Yeah, it's Sunday morning And Melody just gets up and leaves It's all It's this It's this tiniest drama ever Melody later apologizes She says I'm sorry, Lala I was being a brat this morning

[00:03:59] I mean, I was in a mood It wasn't directed toward you Lala says I appreciate it But There was There was some other drama It was That is not the tiniest drama Because Taylor is still pretty upset about The whole argument the night before If you recall This had to do with Taylor And the honor society

[00:04:28] And the honor society And getting into a disagreement About what Angela had or hadn't said Where Angela was trying to pretend like she hadn't been assuming that Taylor was working in different alliances And so on and so forth And then Haley got involved And it became an even bigger thing Taylor is still struggling with that On top of of course The rest of it Because again, whether people like that it's being talked about or not

[00:04:57] This is being talked about by Taylor in the house now She's talking with Lala And Lala is trying to cheer her up Because Taylor is really struggling She's in her bed She says, listen I'm damned if I do And I'm damned if I don't She says, the thing about this house That really gets to me Is that people They do something to you You see it You hear about it

[00:05:26] You know that they did it And they expect you not to react or feel some type of way Or feel weird about them being weird I feel it And I see it And I move accordingly And then they turn it back on you Like, what's wrong with you? What do you mean what's wrong with me? And Lala says, Taylor I've been going through the last couple of weeks too

[00:05:54] Taylor says, I know, I've been going through it But the thing that gets me Is I have to reap the consequences of reacting to your action Lala says, how long have I been saying this? Taylor says, I know, I know And Lala says, you know how to play this game Because you told me about it We prayed about it We wanted it so bad We've got to pretend It's the code switch of the century

[00:06:23] And Taylor says, and I don't code switch Oh, I says, me neither And they cut the feeds So Once again Pretty clear what they're talking about here The day continues Because the feeds cut from this conversation

[00:06:53] And Taylor starts talking with Angela And Haley out in the backyard And And they start to get back into it A little bit Because of what happened the night before And they're really just They're rehashing that whole Kind of argument And Angela's there And Angela gets involved And Taylor's like I'm not even really talking to you, Angela But then It's again It's a whole It's a whole

[00:07:23] Bit of a thing And Eventually Angela leaves the conversation And Taylor has What is A very pointed Conversation With Haley I imagine that the only reason The feeds are Left up At all Through this conversation Is because Of The fact that Taylor is being as vague

[00:07:52] As she is But But She's really not being that vague So Taylor says Listen Haley I would like to have a chat I'd like to have a chat With you Like a personal Important Conversation And Haley says Taylor I just have no energy For For confrontation Or drama Okay

It's just the potential of putting Mallory up just makes me a little uncertain. Like, I just... She continues to explain herself and why Mallory's going up

[00:36:01] and why it should make sense. And Drew's like, I do feel good with you. I was just venting. I was just venting to Barrett, you know? It's just... And Dee's like, well, he overheard you. These are your true feelings. They're like, no, please. It's really, it was just... And Barrett's like, yeah, we weren't even talking. It wasn't even that bad. It was just like mostly just like it was venting. It was just venting, you know? Dee's like, well, you need to plead your... Go and plead your case to Devin's

[00:36:31] and make this right because this needs to be solved before tomorrow. She's like, oh, I just think the chances of me leaving right now are really high. Go talk to him. It's like, yeah, okay. Okay, we need to go talk to... I'm sorry, Dee. Dee, I'm sorry. They close the door. And as soon as they close the door, Dee's like... Now here's the key to all of this.

[00:37:00] While they were talking, after Devin's left the room, Devin's goes straight into the gym by himself. And as Drew is like, oh, he overheard me. We were talking about you guys. I'm so sorry. Devin's goes to the gym and he looks at the cameras and he goes, I didn't hear a word they were saying. I heard like a couple of names. I have no idea what they were talking about.

[00:37:31] I'm just like... I'm just trying to honestly... I'm just trying to shake them into admitting it, you know? I feel like... I feel like they look so guilty. I'm just trying to do that thing where you're like... Like the parent knows... You don't know what the dad knows. So, you know... So hopefully he's like in there spilling his guts to Dee. I don't think I'm going to go talk to... I think I'm going to wait for them to come to me and then see if they'll spill even more.

[00:38:00] I think less is more here. I think less is more here. Oh, they got played so bad. So in the meantime, they're in the HOH room spilling to Dee. Now they did not admit, luckily to them, that they talked about targeting the icons, but they admitted to much of the rest of it.

[00:38:28] And so Dee then sends them off to go fix things with Devin's and he goes downstairs and he waits for them. And they come up. They come crawling over. Hey, Devin's. What's up, guys? Yeah. We just wanted to, you know, say, like, yeah, you know,

[00:38:58] in that conversation, like, we're worried. We're worried. That's all. You know, like, I'm definitely worried. You know, like, I'm just concerned about whether, you know, you guys are, like, actually loyal to us. Because, you know, you threaten to go nuclear and then, like, all of my information is being leaked. It's just... I just... I'm just a little bit worried about all of that, you know? Some of that.

[00:39:28] Drew's like, I know, I just... I think I just... We felt a little expendable in that moment. Like, are we being played? And Devin's like, absolutely. You're not being played? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. Drew's like, I don't know. Sometimes I just feel like I'm at the bottom of the five. And so... And I feel like I've been at the bottom of all the alliances, you know? Like, I was at the bottom of the tool shed.

[00:39:58] I'm at the bottom of the five. Uh, and Devin's like, you're not at the bottom of the five? Come on. Like, we've got a thing going, don't we? And Devin's just spends the next half hour working them hard. Like, because, yes, this ploy of Devin's, it's a fun little trick and it got them to admit what they were talking about. But they didn't admit to everything that they talked about. Um, so it's like, yeah, okay.

[00:40:28] He got them to admit to some of the stuff that they were talking about. Uh, that's funny and it's fun. But there actually is quite a, a generous, quite a, uh, a huge benefit to this as well, which is that he got them to express some genuine concerns and got them feeling incredibly vulnerable. just fully in the palm of his hand. Um, as they express

[00:40:58] their, their deepest vulnerabilities to him. Like, uh, these are our actual concerns about, uh, about the Alliance and about you. who, and as they feel like they got in trouble and they are hoping that he won't be mad at them, he reaches down and comforts them. He says, it's all right. I understand your feelings. I'm not mad. You know I'm with you, right? You don't have to worry

[00:41:27] about me. It's the three of us. And, it's this work plus some work later on that completely starts changing their tune about the icons. Uh, and really convinces them that he is with them. That they can be mad at D all they want, but Devin's is not with D. And, Devin's, he, he heard what they were saying and he forgave them. And he's actually with them

[00:41:56] and they don't have any cause for real concern. So, this is really great work by Devin's from the trick to the follow through. Uh, and, it's definitely something to pay attention to here. Um, so, they, uh, they go up and, uh, and talk with D and the HOH. Uh, and D pretends to be telling Devin's about the whole

[00:42:26] power thing and everything for the first time. And Devin's is pretending to be learning about it for the first time. Like, oh, you're putting up Mallory. Oh, you made this deal with Yash. Man, well, that's, that's not a very good deal for me, huh? Because Yash can still come after me. And, uh, D's like, well, I had to do what I had to do. I'm the HOH. He's like, you do, you do have to do what you got to do as the HOH. Uh, man. Um, and, uh, and so this goes

[00:42:55] pretty well for them. Uh, uh, in the meantime, Melody is talking with Mallory in the hot tub room, I believe. Uh, yeah, because they're whispering the whole time. Um, and Melody is explaining her conversation with Drew to Mallory. Remember, she was talking to Drew about Haley and how Haley knew about Drew's power and Drew admitted that he told D about it and she's like, Drew, are you fucking dumb?

[00:43:25] Why are you telling D about your power? Why is he doing this? He's Mr. Promise Everything. You're this close to pulling a lyric, Drew. Mallory's like, yeah, at least we know how to be in the middle without playing both sides. Mallory, you're about to find out that you are not good at playing the middle. Mallory was particularly annoyed that Drew called her an emotional player.

[00:43:55] She's like, yeah, maybe I'm an emotional player. Like, maybe I, maybe I have like a, maybe I get a little annoyed with Lala in the morning, but I went and apologized to her. Like, I know how to clean up my messes unlike him. And you know, it's like, Mallory, I don't know, I don't know exactly how to say this, but like, I feel like Drew thinks I like him and it's starting to make me pissed off because it's like, the way he's been acting makes it seem,

[00:44:24] makes it seem like he thinks that I have a crush on him or I'm into him and he's such a genius for playing into it and thinking I'm just going to go along with him. I swear, if he, if he's just been manipulating me this whole time, I won't be able to be friends with him outside this house. Oh boy. So, Dee and Barrett talk a little bit more.

[00:44:54] They talk about Drew and what happened and she talks about Mallory and how she wants to tell Mallory that she's going up on the block and she's like, do you want to, do you want to be here when I tell her? Do you want to talk to her? Do you want to, and Barrett's like, I don't, I mean, I don't know why I would talk to her. I think maybe you, maybe you do it. And so, she's like, okay, I'm going to, I'm going to talk

[00:45:23] to Mallory right now. So, she goes and she grabs Mallory and she pulls Mallory upstairs. It's like, wow, we're all, we're doing this. And again, this is all happening. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. This is all happening during the episode last night. D grabs Mallory. She says, listen, I know you feel a weird vibe and it's exactly what you're thinking. What? What am I thinking? Just,

[00:45:53] there's no easy way to say this, Mallory, but I'm thinking of nominating you. Why? Well, I just think, I don't think Haley's ever going to put me up. Like, if I don't put them up, I think like, we'll be even. And so, you know, I was thinking of like the next likeliest person in the mosh pit that would put me up and I think it's you. You know, I did put you up. No, I wouldn't. Well,

[00:46:22] who would you put up then? What? Anybody that's not in the mosh pit. Well, who is that? Haley, Taylor, La La La, Yash. You'd put Yash up? I mean, if there was nobody else left, I just, you know, I just, I'm, I have to go off of my fears and I just fear that because I put you up

[00:46:52] before you'd return the favor. I was like, no, absolutely not. I promise. It's just, it's really hard because that's what Haley tells me too. No, I really promise. And the crazy thing is I believe you. I'm just, I'm just thinking of my fear of who would put me up. I just, I just think that rocking in an alliance is better long term.

[00:47:23] I do believe you. I just, well, I mean, who do you think Melody would put up? Well, I think the same as me. I mean, who would you put up? Yash or Haley in my shoes? Um, I mean, I honestly, I would just say Haley. Wow. But I've, I was leaning more toward Yash. Uh,

[00:47:53] now D has talked to Yash about using him as a fake. She's thinking about backdooring him. So it's a lot safer for her to say that she's thinking about Yash. Um, and she's like, yeah, I just, I gotta think about this. I gotta talk to Haley. So, uh, so, okay, well, all right. And Mallory leaves. And D goes, well, that was awkward as fuck.

[00:48:24] She tells the cameras, I mean, it would be really easy. It would be so easy to just put up, put up Haley, like in a heartbeat. But, for gameplay purposes, Mallory has to be put up. I have to break up the four. Looking at her sucked, I, I, but I can't let my emotions get in the way. Just like she, just, just like she tells,

[00:48:53] just like I tell Barrett that I'll choose him over Devin's and Angela when that's not true. Right? Well, unless it gets to a point where I'd have to put my gameplay over emotions. Like, I mean, it'd be stupid to take Devin's or Angela to the end. I know that. But there's so much more game to play. Yeah, it's just, I mean, I didn't go through all the trouble of convincing Barrett and him being okay with it to backtrack now. I'd already done all the work. So some interesting things there in that,

[00:49:23] in that camera talk. Number one, she says she has to do this because she has to break the four up. Now, the plan right now is that Mallory is the primary target unless she wins the blockbuster and then Taylor is the target. But, that conflicts with the idea of making sure you break up the four, right? So, it is not nearly impossible. It is not anywhere close to impossible. For this plan to change that if Mallory

[00:49:52] wins the blockbuster, Drew is evicted over Taylor. I fully believe that is an absolute possibility as they start to consider, like, if we don't end up getting Mallory out, we still need to break up the four a little bit. So stay on the lookout for that. Number two, we always kind of knew this, but D outright saying to the cameras, she knows it would be stupid to take Devins or Angela essentially to the final two with her. Interesting stuff, especially because

[00:50:22] we were just hearing from Devins that he does want to go to the final two with D. We talked about that early in the season that this is what we assumed would happen between the two of them, but interesting to hear it from D herself. And then, number three, it does seem like Mallory actually made just a little bit of progress on D here, but once again, it's the same thing that happened with Drew where she considered backtracking on the Drew nomination, but then was like,

[00:50:52] ah, but I already got Barrett on board. And so once again, Barrett already being on board is like, nah, that's the reason why I need to stick with this because I didn't do all that work with Barrett for nothing. So Mallory goes downstairs and she goes to her pod and she just starts crying. Now, while that conversation was happening, D and Mallory, Drew was out in the backyard talking with Haley who was reassuring him that she was a vote for him to stay this week

[00:51:20] and how she already knew about the Mallory plan. And Devin's and Barrett were talking as well in the backyard. They were both in pairs walking and Barrett was talking to Devin's about how annoyed he is about this Mallory situation and Devin's agrees. Devin's pretending to be annoyed with D's antics as well. Devin's continuing to work on Barrett. Mallory runs

[00:51:50] into Angela as she's crying and Angela gives her a hug and Angela says, oh, I'll go and talk to D for you, which is her move. Angela at this point has already been informed by D about all the conversations she's been having. And then Mallory comes out of the diary room, she's back in the pod room and she talks to Barrett. and she cries to Barrett. She's like, Barrett,

[00:52:19] you told me to trust her. I know, I know, and I'm pissed. I'm sorry. It's going to be me? Yeah. Yeah. She told you? Yeah. I'm sorry. It's bullshit. When did she tell you? Like right before you went in. Oh.

[00:52:49] I go home against Drew though, don't I? Well, I mean, I guess I have you, right? Yeah. Yeah. You've got me. And if I've got Melody and Yash and Taylor, I mean, and Lala. Oh, oh, I knew this would happen. Does she still want Taylor out over me? Yeah. I mean,

[00:53:18] you know, even Devin's doesn't agree with it. Like, it's so dumb. What did Devin say? He thinks it's a selfish move, you know, and that Yash and Haley will still put still put her up. Like, I just think we all need to go up there. Like, everyone else needs to go up there and tell her how dumb this is. Because I can't do it. Melody joins. She sees Mallory crying. She's like, what's going on? I was like,

[00:53:48] I'm going up. And Mallory just like blanks for 30 seconds. I'm sorry. I love you, Mallory. I can't do this right now. I'm going to freak the fuck out. And she leaves. She goes straight upstairs into the gym. And she starts just sobbing for like a good 20 minutes.

[00:54:17] She's fucking mad right now. Oh, everyone could fuck themselves. Actually, a dumbass mistake. Oh, my God. This is so ridiculous.

[00:54:59] So that was her night. in the meantime, Drew and Devins, they're talking. And Drew is continuing to try to explain some of his misgivings. He's a little bit confused. She just was a little bit confused about like, he was like, yeah, I was originally I was kind of confused about why you use the Diamond Power Vito on D when it would have made more sense to use it on Angela because then D would have been able to be

[00:55:29] compete against Kamu in the blockbuster. But then it kind of worked out. It kind of made sense because then Angela won. Devins continues to just play good cop. D's deal is not good for us. This is such a selfish deal. But hey, at least she's pissing more people off. Malady and Mallory, they're going

[00:55:59] right? Drew's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, that actually does make sense. And you know what else? I talked to Haley. She already knows everything, which is interesting, right? He has already talked to Haley about all of this. Devins is like, exactly, yes. Drew's like, well, listen, I think you know where the priority is for me and Barrett when it comes to the three of you, right? Devins is like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I get you.

[00:56:29] No, I'm totally on board. And he's like, man, I just honestly, I thought you had more influence on D. Devins is like, yeah, me too. You know, I can't believe this. Again, Devins continuing to just pretend. And they're like, oh, please, pretend some more, Devins. We love it.

[00:56:59] So Melody, after she finishes screaming, she rejoins Barrett and Mallory. They give her some more details about the whole situation. She says, I'm sorry, but like, this is war. This is war. Barrett's like, yeah. Drew comes in and he's like, I heard the good news. I'm not worried. I'm not worried, but I am pissed.

[00:57:29] And they complain for a while together, the four of them. This is war. Melody says, can I talk to Mallory alone? Okay. Drew and Barrett leave. Mallory says, I'm done with Barrett if he continues to be close with D after this. I'm done with him. He'd better win HOH and go after her. What we need to do is form an alliance with Yash and Taylor. And Taylor if she stays.

[00:58:00] That's what we need to do. And you know what? Melody, I'm going to say something really annoying. I could have beat her in the HOH competition. And I slowed down on purpose because I trusted she wouldn't put me up. Barrett did too. And Melody's like, oh, same. I purposely took the longest route and I walked slowly. I thought we were in a better spot.

[00:58:32] Sorry. So Drew and Barrett talk. And Barrett says, Barrett's like, oh, man, I just I

[00:59:04] spent all season convincing Mallory to trust D. And now I feel like I just need to put the clown nose watch out for that. Then he goes upstairs and he gives D the full download on all of his conversations with Drew and

[00:59:34] Barrett and she tells him about all her conversations. He's like, yeah, I'm just I'm playing it up with them. This is working so well. They are pretty pissed. They are pretty pissed. She's like, really? Even Barrett? He's like, yeah, even Barrett. It's like, but he was so good with it when I talked to him. He's like, they are worried that you're trying to pull in Haley to make a move against them.

[01:00:04] She's like, I'm not. You don't have to play up with me. I know. He says, listen, I think we've done enough stick. It's time for some carrot. Because Drew and Barrett actually fully moving to the other side is worst case scenario. She's like, okay, yeah, that makes sense. So you need to be sweet with them now. Yeah, yeah, okay. He says, oh,

[01:00:34] and Mallory seems really pissed, which is perfect. Which is perfect. It gives us the exact excuse we need to tell Drew and Barrett that, uh-oh, we need to take her out. So, now that they're done with the stick, they need to use some carrot. And so Dee has Barrett come in, or Barrett comes in, and Dee talks privately with Barrett, and she tells him about her conversation with Mallory and how she feels so bad,

[01:01:04] uh, but the damage has been done and now she kind of has to follow through. And, uh, and Barrett is just like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I just, I just feel so bad because I spent so much, I spent so much time convincing Mallory that the two of you were good, you know? Uh, she's like, yeah, listen,

[01:01:34] I just want to make sure that you trust me, Barrett, because I do prioritize you, and I'm sorry, I'm sorry I put you in this position. Yeah, I appreciate that. It's just like, it's just a stupid part of the game that I don't, I don't like. She's like, yes, Barrett, oh my god,

[01:02:04] yeah, it's okay though. It's like, oh, Barrett, you know I love you. Yeah, you know I love you, D. You know I love you. Yeah, I love you too, Barrett, and I hope you know I would never do anything to mess this up. Yeah, I know, I know. It's okay. Drew comes in, Drew's like,

[01:02:34] did I miss anything? And Barrett's like, just me crying. Like, oh, okay. He's like, yeah, I just, I cry in front of D a lot sometimes. And then D talks with both of them and does, she's, again, she's now giving some carrots, she's being a little sweet. And when she finishes the conversation with the two of them, she leaves and the two of them talk.

[01:03:05] And, and Drew is like, man, this was a lot. And I feel like it was actually good for us. Right? Like, we're kind of falling back into the middle men role.

[01:03:42] But that man, they would expect us to put D up if we won HOH, which I don't want to do. And Barrett's like, yeah, me neither. But we also shouldn't put Melody and Mallory up. No, no, no, no. Yeah, we just go after Yash and Lala. Easy. And man, isn't it so good how Devin's is now really sus on D? Like,

[01:04:11] I really think he's going to choose us over her. Did you hear what he called us? He literally called us his two boys. Like, we're his two boys. Whatever daddy Devin says, baby boy Drew follows. The kid has no spine. So, uh, this is where Drew and Barrett are at. Uh,

[01:04:41] they see Drew, at least, they see themselves as back to the middlemen. Only now, there's no pretense of an alliance between the two sides that they're working with. and they're going to have to really play the middle here. Pretend like they're going to go to war with Melody and Mallory. And, uh, and then while secretly still being with the icons because, uh, Devin's is really siding with them. And so they are well positioned there. And yeah, they're annoyed at D, but they don't

[01:05:11] need to put D up. Uh, they got it. They still got to deal with Yash and Lala. So they spend much of the rest of the night out with Melody and Mallory. And this was part of their plan that said they're going to spend most of the, they're going to spend a bunch of time with the girls so that they feel good with them still and don't clock the connection that they have with, um,

[01:05:40] with, with D and, and Devin's. Um, so, uh, they talk and, and Melody and Mallory, they're still pissed, right? They're still pissed about the, uh, the whole situation. And Drew's like, yeah, but we need to, we need to pretend to stay good with them, right? Because D has a tiebreaker. We can't, we can't let, we can't let them, we don't want them to shift the target to one of us. And they're like, yeah, that's right. Okay. We need to lie to them. Lie, lie, lie. We need to not let them know

[01:06:10] that we're, that we're going to war. But Operation War is still active. Like, yeah, yeah, Operation War still active. Hmm. So then they just, they spend the rest of the night hanging out, having a, having a better time. They're starting to cheer up a little bit. Mallory's practicing different speeches that she wants to make at the veto ceremony. Um, and, uh, and Melody and Drew

[01:06:39] spend more time alone after Melody, Mallory and Barrett leave. They're out there for like an hour, just like laying down, the stars talking, getting closer and being flirty as they are wont to do. Um, despite everything that Mallory was saying or Melody was saying earlier in the day. So that's about it. That's about it from the day. Boom.

[01:07:10] Nailed it. Uh, it was a messy day, obviously, but everything went really, really according to plan in terms of, uh, the vets. Um, Devins puts in phenomenal work to, to keep Drew and Barrett on side. Uh, Mallory now going up on the block will be the main target. They have not yet spun this onto Drew and Barrett as Mallory's the main target. Um,

[01:07:39] we'll see how that goes, but considering that like Drew and Barrett just kind of roll over every time that they get hit by the icons. Um, the icons at this point feel pretty good about being able to do it and not face any repercussions. Uh, and, uh, and, you know, they're feeling good. They're feeling good about it. The plan is going, uh, going swimmingly.

[01:08:09] Um, any questions, any questions before we wrap up? Yes, there has been an issue with the YouTube, uh, streams lately, uh, that the, uh, during the live stream, trying to go back to the beginning is not working. And so it's starting like a little bit of the ways through. Uh, and then when the video gets posted, that remains the case for a little bit of time. If you wait, uh, the full video does end up getting, uh, getting posted. Like, uh,

[01:08:39] the whole thing ends up like fixing itself. I don't know why it's happening. Uh, hopefully this is something that gets fixed. This used to happen years ago and now all of a sudden it's happening again. Um, so I apologize for that, but it is, it is very much a YouTube issue at the moment for us. Um, so, uh, so do not fear if, if for some reason the beginning of this podcast is missing, just, just wait a little bit. You'll be able to see the beginning of

Um, uh, did they put extra dumb people in the house of the Vets with steamroll or did it just work out this way? Uh, I think that, um, they just gave the, the icons too much power. Uh, they've guaranteed first HOH,

[01:09:42] diamond power of veto, bribe power that is an enforceable contract. Uh, these things like this, this week would be going very poorly for the icons. Uh, I mean, they would have to be targeting, uh, Yash right now, if not for the bribe power. Um, and, uh, and that obviously would, uh, be much, much worse. Um, will it come down to who does the best on the block?

[01:10:12] Uh, yeah, I mean, potentially, honestly, I think that, um, I really expect this vote to be all over the place for, yes, Mallory's the target right now, but Drew could easily become the target. Uh, and, you know, Taylor could become the target. The, the icons, the survivor players, they love to flip votes. So, uh, so do not, uh, do not think that this is locked in by any means, in my opinion. Um, does event win have a

[01:10:42] huge asterisk? Uh, honestly, I mean, I can't see how it wouldn't right now. Um, you know, uh, it depends on which one, the, the, the, you know, weight of the, uh, the asterisk, but, uh, it's, uh, it's pretty bad. It's pretty bad. Is D technically lying about the power? Uh, as of right now, I, no, I don't think so. Uh, again, she's saying that the deal was made to protect her,

[01:11:11] but, uh, as far as I'm aware, although I wasn't super listening for it, she hasn't like explicitly said that she did not make a deal to save anybody else as well. Um, so, uh, it is, yeah, maybe a lie by omission, but, but that's allowed, um, as far as I'm aware. Uh, production's not correct the record or anything like that. So, uh, so that is, uh, that is the case there. Um,
