[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning, welcome to our live feed update for August 17th. I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The Big Brother 28 live feeds, it was day 41 in the house and kind of the calm before the storm here as we approach the oncoming onslaught of chaos.
[00:01:11] That is the Vito ceremony on Angela's birthday, where the Diamond Power Vito is likely to be played. But of course, there are some things to look at to talk about in particular will the Diamond Power Vito still be played? And will Yash play the regular power of Vito? Will he recognize that he needs to play it on Haley with or without the Diamond Power Vito being in play? Those are the things to be looking at today with me to talk about them. It's Asia. How you doing Asia?
[00:01:40] Hello, Taryn. You know, we've had Rockstar's birthday. Now we're about to have Angela's, no, Rockstar's daughter's birthday. Now we're about to have Angela's birthday. So we'll see what's going to happen. And on an unrelated note, for no reason at all, have you ever been in a mosh pit? Yes, actually. I am a bit of a mosh for myself. All right. I'm not going to lie.
[00:02:08] See, that's always my goal. I want people to learn a little bit more about you on these updates. And look, look at that. We've learned. There you go. Yeah, I went to a concert on Friday and there was no mosh pit. It was for a rapper named No Name. And it just wasn't mosh pit vibes. And it got me thinking, what is the vibe of a mosh pit? I don't know. It's just good vibes. Concert without a mosh pit. Not much of a concert to me.
[00:02:35] I'll try it one day. I'm at that age, though, where I'm like, I need a seat. I don't like standing room only concerts anymore. That's actually fair. I've gotten there a little bit myself. It's either mosh pit or fully seated. There's no in between for me. Exactly. All right. Well, as you all, of course, know, Yash is the HOH. He nominated Angela D and Haley for eviction. Angela was the original target, but it shifted to D pretty quickly.
[00:03:04] Yash then also won the veto. And Devins plans to use the diamond power of veto. So the whole situation is quite a mess. The main thing here is that Devins, when using the diamond power of veto on D, now plans to nominate Kamu in her place to target Kamu or Haley.
[00:03:27] And Yash wants to keep Haley safe and take out either D or Angela or maybe even Barrett if he decides he wants to use the veto. Now, over the course of the day yesterday, Yash, Taylor and Kamu were pretty much told under no uncertain terms that Haley didn't have the votes to stay if she stays up on the block. And they don't want that to happen. There's an easy way to fix that. And it's hanging around Yash's neck.
[00:03:57] Use the veto on Haley. Put up somebody like Barrett. However, they have not thought of the idea. So there's an entire day to go over today, day 41, to see if they come up with that idea or to see if Devins decides to back down from his diamond power of veto play.
[00:04:17] And we also have, in coordination with the diamond power of veto play, a new alliance forming to make sure that they have the votes to follow through with the move. So, we start the day with Yash and Kamu. Speaking of, like, learning little details about people. They're going to share, talk about their shared and mutual love of Joe Rogan.
[00:04:45] You know, people always say in the house long enough, and I'm speaking in Yash terms. They say in the house, in terms of Yash, actually, long enough for you to learn a little too much about them.
[00:05:03] You know, there were those early conversations, though, with Yash and Chuck that would have you thinking he was a fan of Joe Rogan and the whole, like, manosphere. But, you know, they, yeah, these guys exist. Oh, certainly. Quite a popular podcast, that one.
[00:05:30] So, the day really starts with Devins and Dee talking in the morning about the diamond power of veto. Talking about what we plan to do, moving forward with it, like, you know, what is going to be said. And, and Devins is, is kind of, he's kind of been feeling like, is there any world where you stay on the block and we have the votes?
[00:06:00] Because, like, if we're going to make this new big alliance of seven people, fab plus crossovers, like, is there any world where we trust that those votes come through and you'll, you'll, you'll be fine? And Dee's like, well, I mean, not a hundred percent. But, hey, it's your veto, your call. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to use it. And he's like, let's just kind of feel it out today.
[00:06:27] And so, there is a little bit of uncertainty as to whether or not this might actually happen. Now, I'm under the impression, quite frankly, that push comes to shove. Dee's going to push a little harder and shove a little harder. But, but there is some hesitation here. Yeah, and it's, and I mean, it's fair for Dee to have, like, reservations for relying on the vote. We have 12 people in this house. Nine people are voting.
[00:06:57] If you're in an alliance with somebody else who is also on the block, let's say Haley wins the blockbuster and you're on the, on the block with somebody in the alliance, you want to make sure all five other people in the alliance prioritize you over Angela. That's a tough sale. Yeah, I mean, there is, there is some validity to this idea, right? The idea being, all we have to do is beat Haley in the blockbuster. We will have the votes.
[00:07:26] We should have the votes unless we get flipped on, of course. But it does require beating Haley in the blockbuster and nobody flipping on you. And if I'm D, there's not a chance in the world I'm willing to take that risk just to have a diamond power veto for two more weeks when maybe Devin's and I swap HOHs both of those weeks. Like, you know what I mean? It's like, uh, I don't think so. Now, for Devin's, you can obviously see why the risk is a little more appealing.
[00:07:54] But even then, uh, you know, there's certainly a lot of downside. Now, that's the Devin side of things. He's on the Yash side of things. He's had a chance to sleep on it. Think through his options. Um, he knows Haley is going to struggle to stay if she does not win the blockbuster. He wants her to stay. He wants to make sure he takes out one of his icon targets. He checks in with Taylor in the morning. Yeah, we're all good. No need to use the veto.
[00:08:24] Uh, I mean, no, we don't have the votes to keep Haley, but I don't think we need to use the veto here. Uh, I think, um, I think keep things the same. We don't need to do that whole veto Angela play. Just hold the veto. Right. Let's spend so much time going back and forth about vetoing Angela when I'm like, are we in the final six? Like, why is he acting like he doesn't have any options, uh, to put someone else on the block? Like, that's the only path. Like, it has to be Angela.
[00:08:52] It has to be Barrett that goes up. Uh, it's, it's, it's comical at this point. Um, but it also just shows Haley is just a number to them. Like, you can't tell me if Kamu was on the block that Yash would not be thinking, Kamu, I'm taking you down. Yeah, I mean, that's the thing. And I mean, Haley is an incredibly valuable number for them, uh, in my opinion. Um, but you're correct. They don't really see it.
[00:09:21] They don't want Haley to go. They recognize that the votes going against Haley, keeping both Angela and Dee. I mean, that is a fully missed shot at the icons. And it puts them in a spot where they go into the next HOH down on numbers. Uh, the problem is that they don't see just how down on numbers they'd be, but they even do recognize that there's a chance that all, if those numbers fully flipped on them, that they would be in trouble. They just don't think that the numbers will flip on them. Um, and so.
[00:09:51] And I think they also have it in their head too much that Haley has already won a blockbuster. So in their mind, the probability of Haley winning the blockbuster is like super high. And so they're kind of thinking as like, okay, worse comes to worse. We don't even have to worry about the votes on Haley because Haley's going to win the blockbuster. Yeah. So Dee and Angela are going to prep for the veto ceremony.
[00:10:20] There's multiple conversations throughout the day. Basically, Angela knows that Dee's coming off the block. Uh, and, um, and that, you know, she's going to pretend to be surprised. In fact, Dee is also going to pretend to be surprised. Uh, despite the fact that they both also are going to maybe call some people out and have some things planned. So, uh, they're going to feign shock and awe and then be like, also though, screw you Kamu.
[00:10:48] Um, speech is still kind of TBD in terms of what exactly they're going to say. Um, something along the lines from Dee maybe about like Kamu having Yash do his dirty work for him. Um, Devin's kind of advised against that because that's kind of unnecessarily bringing Yash into it. And they should probably focus on Kamu. I agree with that is something that I'm, uh, I'm always talking about, uh, with like call outs is don't include other people.
[00:11:18] Uh, keep it focused because if you include other people, then, uh, those other people also get mad at you and you start to lose if you have multiple people who are mad at you. Um, so, uh, so that's what they're going to do. You know, it's not that important. The bigger thing that's happening through the day, of course, Devin's talks to Mallory about officially merging their groups and having a meeting, uh, later in the night about, uh, every officially coming together. He talks to Mallory. Mallory is down.
[00:11:47] He talks to Melody. Melody also says she's in. Um, and when he talks to Melody too, she's like, yeah, I mean, make sense. You know, Kamu, Yash, Taylor, and Lala probably solidified something. And they did that in fact, like just then Lala names her alliance with Kamu, Taylor, and Yash, the covenant. They are now the covenant. So yes, in fact, those four have nine named lines. Right.
[00:12:14] Uh, as if we didn't need another named alliance in this season. Um, it's excessive at this point. It means, it means nothing. Yeah, there's a lot. Uh, and, and poor Lala who has finally named yet another alliance is about to find that yet again, Devin's is coming for her guys. Yeah.
[00:12:42] I mean, it's just, I mean, it's the, it's become the culture of this house, which I don't hate. I love when we can, we don't know what's coming next and we can't predict, oh, this person's going home next and this person and this person and this person. Um, but it's just, it's, it's just comical at this point that they're like, okay, now, now, now, now this alliance matters. Now, okay. Now that we've, you know, worked through everything else. Now the covenant matters. Now this new named alliance matters. Yeah.
[00:13:11] They've named too many. It's, uh, it's become less meaningful. Um, Drew does warn D about how much time she's spending with Barrett. He says, you know, they, they could still name a replacement nominee and they have been eyeing Barrett. Uh, because D and Barrett have just been spending too much time together. So they do actually spend a bit less time together during the day today, which again is important because all it takes is for one stray idea to enter one of Yash Taylor Kamu's heads.
[00:13:40] And, uh, and all of a sudden way, why don't, cause, cause I just want to, I just want to reiterate again how they have, they have, and will continue to talk all around. All of the reasons why it's a good idea to veto Haley and how much they want to nominate Barrett, but they've never even considered the idea.
[00:14:05] It's never been spoken aloud, which implies to me that if they consider the idea, they might go, Oh, this is the perfect idea. This fits all of what we're trying to do. They just haven't thought of it. So, uh, so like it's really, it really could happen at any time. Uh, like at any moment, one of them, one of the three of them might say, wait, why don't we just veto Haley?
[00:14:33] Uh, so, so that's what I'm watching for. Um, but, uh, but the day continues on. Um, there's a funny moment where, uh, I believe it's Haley. The feeds have kind of just come back on. Um, uh, did not know why the show was called big brother. Um, just on the show. Did not know why the show was called big brother. It was either Haley or Taylor. I'm inclined to believe it was Haley. They seem to be directing their comments toward Haley. Uh, as Devin said to explain.
[00:15:03] The origin of the name big brother. Yeah. I feel like 1984 was required reading back in the day. That's what Devin said. Like what happened to that? Like I did, I didn't read that for pleasure back in the day. I'm pretty sure it was a sign. There was homework involved discussion. And, you know, as over time, you know, we can't expect everybody to have watched big brother and such since they were eight years old.
[00:15:30] But, you know, there, there is that history in mine. Uh, it's comical. And I actually loved seeing how delusional Angela feels that Haley is on the, on the episode last night. A little delusional. Yeah. I thought that was, um, I was like, okay, I really like seeing that from Angela. Like she's aware. Yeah.
[00:15:59] So, day continues forward. Uh, it's quite a slow day to be, uh, to be, to, to put this out there. Um, they're hanging out in the backyard. They get the phone. Uh, this is when big brother is sort of like offloading even more, uh, labor onto the house guests. Like do social media for us here. Take this phone. You guys are young. You know how to do the social medias, right? Can you just do it for us?
[00:16:28] Uh, and then they spend like all day filming videos and posting stuff. And it's super boring to watch. Yeah. There was a, there was a point that all the guys were talking about their workouts. And there, there's an agreement around my house that if I'm on the live feed update, I can full blast the live feed updates on the TV. Other days I'll do the laptop. But, but yesterday I had them on the TV and they're talking about their workout routines.
[00:16:55] And my girlfriend was like, I can't, I can't, you have to change the feed. You have to go to the other feed, go to the other camera. Sure enough. Here's Angela giving a tour of the fridge. It's just like, oh, lovely. We do get a good conversation though, between Melody and Mallory as they, uh, kind of discuss Devins' proposal of aligning everyone. And they were both down for it.
[00:17:24] But Mallory does have some reservations, particularly that she likes Yash and Taylor and wouldn't want to put them on the block. Remember, Yash and Taylor have been courting Mallory recently, trying to include her in a new alliance that they're trying to make. Because the other side is just full of like little pockets of four people. Uh, and it's mostly just Taylor, Yash, Kamu, and a fourth person. Whether that's Devins or Lala or Hayley or now Mallory.
[00:17:54] Um, and, uh, and Mallory was skeptical of the Kamu addition. She was thinking, oh, I thought I would have like Barrett or something. But she still, despite not liking Kamu, does like Yash and Taylor. Uh, and Melody agrees. She also likes Taylor. Um, but on the other hand, from Melody's perspective, and she says this out loud, they haven't solidified anything with us.
[00:18:18] We have one group of people trying to solidify something with us, and another group of people who's not trying to solidify something with us. Uh, now, of course, Mallory feels differently because they are trying to solidify something with her, but they're not trying to solidify something with Melody. Uh, despite Mallory trying to include Melody, they thought it was a good idea, like, like the frickin' crossovers in the beginning of the game thought it would be a good idea, and have now learned their lesson.
[00:18:44] To try to separate people from their actual allies to include them in their groups. No, we can't include Melody, Mallory, even though your names practically sound the same. Right. And you were tethered together, literally, in a punishment. Uh, no, no, just you, not her. Uh, and that's gonna be fine. Um, so Melody's like, they haven't solidified anything with us, so we might as well jump over here. Uh, and Mallory says, yeah, I still don't think they'd come after us, though.
[00:19:13] And Melody's like, yeah, but still, like, what are we gonna do? Just, like, hang out? Um, they go back and forth a little bit about whether or not they want to keep Angela or Dee, but ultimately they want to see Hayley go, and ultimately the Hayley, uh, the Angela or Dee conversation doesn't matter because Dee's coming off the block, likely. Mallory's concern about this new icons group is that the icons will eventually come after them.
[00:19:39] And Mallory, Melody's like, well, yeah, but here's the thing. I'd so much rather have the icons trying to come after us later than all these comp beasts in the endgame trying to come after us. Uh, and Melody's like, okay, yeah, that's kind of fair. Like, Kamu especially. But, like, I'd rather face Taylor and Lala than, you know, Devin's and Dee. And Melody's like, well, yeah. Like, I completely agree.
[00:20:06] I mean, once Kamu and Yash and Hayley are kind of gone, I'd love to work with Taylor and Lala over the icons. Like, that's when maybe we do a little switcheroo, right? Um, so, uh, so bottom line being, Melody and Mallory, they're on board for this group, but this is not their final seven. Um, in their minds, Kamu is the biggest problem. Hayley's also a problem.
[00:20:34] Now, they don't even realize how quickly one of those problems is likely about to be solved. Um, and the idea here is actually pretty good. Leave the icons and this other, you know, Kamu, Yash, Taylor group going after each other in the short term. Uh, hopefully have Yash, or hopefully have, like, Kamu, Hayley taken out. Hopefully maybe have a shot taken at the icons as well.
[00:20:59] Um, and then move forward with people like Taylor and Lala, who they like and would like to work with and bring to the endgame. Uh, and, uh, and get rid of the rest of the icons. Um, sounds pretty good on paper. Yeah, and that's how you play the middle. That's how you, uh, you, that's how you decide, like, okay, what benefit do we have to go with this side versus this side?
[00:21:25] And you, you figure out how those sides can attack each other until eventually they will turn on. Like, there will be a point where you will have people against you, but at least right now they can focus on, let's get through these next few weeks. And, you know, that's why it's, you know, you, you see these conversations around this FAP icons coming together, right? Like, this isn't the final seven. Like, it's not a wrap.
[00:21:53] It's day 40, what are we, day 41? Like, this, the culture of this house has been ever-changing alliances. And clearly you see here with, like, Mallory's affinity towards Yash and Taylor, like, their shared interest is going to be getting out Kamu or Hayley. Like, it's, it's literally, that's the focus is like Kamu, Hayley, some flavor of that. And then there's going to be a reshuffling. It's bound to happen. That is what this house is not set on.
[00:22:22] It's us versus y'all. And now we're just going to ride it out that way and just see what happens. This is not season six. They have very much show us that, like we said, there's so many Alliance names for a reason. There's so many shufflings there. It's going to happen. Yes, a hundred percent. And I think that this is completely the correct perspective as well.
[00:22:43] Use the opportunity with the current house split to take out the biggest competition threats available as you whittle down the numbers. And obviously, long-term plans don't have to be permanent. And so, yeah, I mean, this is definitely the winning path for Melody and Mallory if they're able to pull it off.
[00:23:05] You know, just as soon as Kamu and Hayley are gone, even if Yash is still there, Yash is definitely the biggest comp threat left at that point. But now, like flipping over to Yash, Taylor, Lala, it's like that's not the worst thing in the world either. Especially because we've still got Drew and Barrett, ideally. And you've got four to three on that end. And it's like, or you've got four to three on the icons.
[00:23:34] And the icons are slightly worse competitively. But either way, you have the choice or whoever wins, right? Like, it's a good idea. Yeah. And this makes a lot of sense for them. And this week is going to go very well for them with this diamond power of veto use. As long as Yash doesn't figure out he needs to use this veto. Right. Speaking of. Taylor and Kamu are having a conversation outside.
[00:24:02] And Taylor mentions like, hey, you know what's really funny? You and Mallory say the same things about each other. He's like, oh, really? What? Like, what do you mean? And she's like, well, Mallory was up in the HOH room last night. We were talking about you. And she was like, I like Kamu. I like him a lot. That's a lie. I like him a lot. But I'm just a little worried he'll like put me up or something. And I was like, that's exactly what Kamu says about you.
[00:24:32] And Kamu was like, oh, that's so funny. I do like Mallory a lot. I do like her so much. America. Yeah. So just I maybe I should make this clear. Like everyone loves Mallory. I think everyone would have loved Mallory. She's been doing a great job with her buses and planes. And there's no train last night, but eventually a train.
[00:25:01] And I think she has an infectious personality. People didn't talk endlessly about how much they loved her until after she won the first time capsule. Oh, is that a coincidence? The vets, obviously, everyone knows the vets got the first three. So Mallory being the first new player to win makes them feel like, oh, Mallory is like the most popular person on this cast.
[00:25:29] So I do think that has pretty significantly impacted the trajectory. Again, to be clear, Mallory's done a great job with her social game. She already had a bunch of people that really liked her. But I do think it had some impact. Anyway, Taylor and Kamu, they talk about Mallory. She says the same thing. You two say the same things. We really want to work with Mallory. The only problem is Barrett. He's just in the way.
[00:25:59] And Barrett also, he's so in the way because he's connected to Devons. And Devons has too many people. We need to get rid of Dee. We need to get rid of Barrett. We need to get rid of Drew. Cut all of Devons' arms off. Then maybe we can work with him. And Kamu's like, well, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Hold on. What if we put Barrett up this week with Devito? Oh. Yes.
[00:26:28] We use Devito. We take down Dee with Devito. We make a deal with her. We put up Barrett. Huh? Huh? No? Everything. They're like, can we use Devito on Julie Chin? Is that possible?
[00:26:54] They're going to name every single person in this house before they land on Haley. And the funny thing is, this actually might be the best option, unbeknownst to them. Because if this happened, Dee would come off the block. Devons would then be like, okay, now I'm sorry, but I'm not using the veto to save Barrett. I'm not using the veto to save Angela. They're going to just have to beat Haley in the blockbuster.
[00:27:21] Which would be an incredible outcome for Kamu and Yash and them to prevent the diamond power of veto from being used. Now, of course, it allows Devons to save it for the following two weeks, which might be bad for them in the future. But bad for them in the future is good for them now. Of course, this is a wild move to make in the present, not knowing about the diamond power of veto. But it is what it is. Thing is, Taylor says she really likes the plan. It's like, okay, well, we've kind of gotten somewhere here.
[00:27:51] But though she worries that it would piss a bunch of people off. Like Yash would have to piss a bunch of people off, take down Dee, put up Barrett. And then actually now thinking about it, if we did this, it would piss off Mallory. And the whole point is that we want to work with Mallory. Right. Which it's so funny that we now have two specific instances we can cite
[00:28:17] where Yash and Taylor have looked out for Mallory. So that kind of just shows you this is inevitable. Inevitably, they're going to solidify something with some contingent of like a melody or, you know, we don't. I don't know. I don't know what's going to come of it. But that's how you know that these two sides right now are not final. Because you have people from opposite sides genuinely looking out for each other because they want to work together. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:28:47] I mean, I personally think after the fallout of the move that is likely made today, I think that, you know, if there is any sort of abandonment of Kamu, I think that there is a rush to Mallory and Melody. And I do think something's going to happen there, though it may take some time. I wonder, too, if this veto, if this week had happened one week sooner, like before Chuck went out,
[00:29:17] when Chuck was like... You mean like if Lala had actually taken a shot at the icons when she had a chance? Exactly. So I wonder if Chuck was the first person or Chuck was the first week where the veto wasn't used. Yeah. And I feel like now with the veto not being used last week, kind of Yash is kind of like, okay, we don't have to use a veto. Like it's not one of those things where we're working towards the veto renom being the one going home.
[00:29:44] And so it's just, it's funny how those things work out. Yeah. Yeah, it is. Well, Devin's having thought about it all day, talks to Dee and he says, I'll do it. I'll do it. This is what they put me in this house for, is to make big moves like this. Hopefully it's entertaining.
[00:30:11] You know, I feel bad, but I think we got to do it. I think we got to make the move. Dee, of course, is like good. Yes, we're down. So it's locked in. And this is still the case as of the end of the day. Devin's plans to use the diamond power veto to take Dee down and put Kamu up.
[00:30:34] So the real only real question left is will Yash realize Taylor talks to Barrett and Mallory about Haley staying like, Hey, I think Haley might have a chance to stay. And they're both like, nah, she doesn't. She's not going to stay. And it's like, oh man, that's unfortunate. Only there was something.
[00:31:00] Melody and Mallory talk alliance names, considering they're pulling this thing together. Now, Drew had wanted to name it Band of Misfits. But Melody and Mallory talk and Mallory comes up with Mosh Pit. And once they finally have a chance alone, because the rest of the players are inside, some of them filming stuff with the camera, with the phone, they're all sitting outside and they are like,
[00:31:29] we doing this? Mallory tells them about her Mosh Pit name. They all love it. Devin's like, all right, Mosh Pit. Everyone good with that? Forever hold your peace. Drew says, well, I was going to call it Band of Misfits. And then Angela goes, no, actually, I really like Mosh Pit. Well, you can see Mallory, who is like pumped about Mosh Pit, like her face drops.
[00:31:59] Like, oh, OK. And they're like, no, we like Mosh Pit. And then your face. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Mosh Pit. And like you feel the empathy because she has on like these unicorn pajamas. And you're like, no, just let Mallory have her name. So they are officially the Mosh Pit. Angela starts just kind of holding court. Like, I'm just so happy that we're together and we've come together.
[00:32:27] And I love this group so much. And even if I go home this week, I want I want one of you to win. Now, she says this, but she's also been saying this to like anybody that will talk to her. Yeah. Including Lala earlier in the day, including like just genuinely like anytime she talks to anyone, she's been pulling this line of like, I might go this week, but I really hope you pull out the win, Lala.
[00:32:55] It's like, OK, Angela. It works. It works. What can we say? It does, because you always expect her to do the most. Like even with the pre-nom with Yash, like they're going to love you because they love me. I was so glad they kept that in the episode. So, uh, D, the conversation is, in my opinion, a little strange because Angela's doing all of that.
[00:33:25] Um, and it keeps starting, it keeps like referring to like, and, and, you know, like we've been working together already, basically like, you know, us five. And, um, and they're like, Angela. Angela, uh, and, and then D tries to like, I think cover it. She's like, yeah, you know, like Drew and Barrett have kind of been, Hey, they were the middlemen. They were kind of the connection between us. Uh, middlemen, isn't that funny?
[00:33:53] Um, and, uh, and Hey, look, listen, you guys outnumber us and we, we recognize that, but it's actually fine. We're totally chill with it. Cause, cause like, like Angela said, it would be great to lose to you guys. Um, so anyway. Right. And they even like Devin's and D just talk about that later. Like, dang, she was really about to out us. Like, what the heck? Wanted to say, hey, stop. Drew goes to D.
[00:34:23] He's like, I did not like, we haven't told them about crossovers. I don't know what Angela's doing. And then they, and then, uh, later D is like talking to D is like, Angela, why did you do that? Uh, and she's like, I just, I assumed they had already told them. I assumed the boys had told them already. No, they, I don't think they had. It's like, oh, um, uh, D also talks to Devin's. She says she got a bad vibe from the mosh pit meeting.
[00:34:51] Uh, she says that the, uh, the melody and Mallory did not seem super excited about it. She's like a little worried. Um, and Devin's like, you're in your head. Don't this, this is not, I don't think you need to be worried. Honestly, D, you were the one that seemed the least excited in that meeting. He's not wrong. Right. He's not wrong at all. But it's like, it's funny because obviously from our perspective, we've seen Devin's throughout the day, checking in with them.
[00:35:19] Like we knew this was like a buildup, right. For this final moment of the formation of the mosh pit. Whereas like D's like, I haven't done the legwork to make sure they're in. So I feel sus, which actually her gut is a little right. In that Mallory and Melody do still have options. Like this is a temporary, uh, like allegiance before the, the, the final formation of whatever is to be.
[00:35:46] If there even is one, I think it's going to be ever evolving, but we'll see. Um, and so I think it's so funny that, you know, D is paranoid and Devin's is trying to reassure her, but she is technically right. Yeah. Uh, and again, she talks to Angela about this as well. She's like, I just, I don't know if they were super down. Um, and, uh, and Angela is like, uh, don't, don't worry.
[00:36:14] Even if they weren't after tomorrow, they're going to be excited. Um, and I don't think she's wrong. Um, so, uh, Drew and Melody also talk about this afterward. They say, man, this group is really good for us because I don't think we're the ones that are going to be targeted. If the other side wins. Exactly. It's like, yeah, yeah, that's, that's the idea. Yeah.
[00:36:40] Um, so one last big strategy talk, uh, of the night, uh, happening almost at the same time as this meeting downstairs because Yash, Kamu and Taylor are upstairs. And Taylor had just been talking to Mallory and Barrett about how Haley definitely does not have the votes. And so she's telling them about that. And like, they're all agreeing again. Like, yeah, it seems really like Haley does not have the votes to stay. She's probably leaving if she doesn't win this blockbuster.
[00:37:09] Uh, we, we can't have that. Like, we need to do something about that. Um, what could we do? Okay. I got it. We campaigned for some more votes. Yeah. Uh, we just make sure we have the votes. We just talked to Mallory again. We talked to Barrett. Barrett might even be down. We don't even know. Um, so. Drew's with us. I can definitely have Drew. I can get Melody, Kamu says. Yes.
[00:37:39] Yes. I can definitely get Melody. I'll just talk to her about pregnancy. Um, so like, it'll be great. We've got this. We got this vote. Oh, I love, I love the delusion. Uh, and, and it is, you know, maybe it's like a form of manifestation because it's not a lot to support what they're saying right now to be thinking like, oh, easy.
[00:38:04] Like, it's that thing where, you know, Kamu, who has been in the HOH room every single week, he has this feeling of like power and influence in the house. When it's really just been, he's just been a solid floater, an effective floater to where he's never had to truly be in danger with the people in power. Even though like, you know, the tool shed wasn't, they had HOH the first four weeks.
[00:38:33] But the last two weeks, he's been in HOH just as much. And he has solidified himself with whoever is HOH. And so I think it like his strength in the game is more so his ability to position himself. But now he's thinking, oh, I can, I can move some boats. I can shake some stuff. I'm like, remember a couple weeks ago when you were on the wrong side of the vote and like you were so sure? Let's not forget that. Yeah.
[00:39:00] This season really so far has been about just like hubris. Like anytime people get into power, they just are overconfident. It's been, it's been the case for, for everyone. So they continue to talk. They don't continue to talk about Haley and the veto. They instead talk about plans moving forward. Who's the real core of the alliances? It's the three of them. They're the real core. They don't really trust Evans. Yeah.
[00:39:30] They got the primaries with him, but he's got too many other options. If he votes with them, maybe, maybe they'll let them back in a little bit. They also talk about Lala and how she's named the, like that version of their, because remember it's again, it's like these, it's, it's Kamu and Yash have a final two. Then they've got Taylor. Now, will Yash pick Kamu over Taylor?
[00:39:57] I personally think he'd probably like, if it came down to it, he'd probably go with Taylor. But like point being, the three of them are a tight core. And unfortunately for Yash, I don't know if Taylor would pick Yash. I think Taylor would pick Kamu. But they're a tight trio at this point. And then they've got like three different four person alliances as, and they're trying to make a fourth. As I mentioned this before, they've got Lala as the covenant. They've got Haley as nothing named yet.
[00:40:26] They've got Devins with the primaries and they've got Mallory. They're courting Mallory to try to be a fourth as well. All separate four. Like, this is like the, um, the wise guys on steroids. Yeah. Exactly. So they're talking about that. And Lala, oh, Lala. Taylor's like, oh my God, I've got to keep Lala in line all the time. I got to tell her.
[00:40:53] She was like, I just have to keep my mouth shut for two more weeks. They were like, two more weeks? They were like, yeah, because, you know, she wants to make jury. And I was like, Lala, you can't be shut in your mouth for two more weeks. Lala, you got to be shut in your mouth for at least eight more weeks. Okay. Um, and she's, and she's like, okay. And Kamu and Yasha are like, oh, thank God we have you to deal with Lala for us. Oh my God. Thank God you can keep her in line. I did not like this one bit.
[00:41:22] It's just like, dang, Lala won an HOH last week. She beat all of y'all out in an endurance competition. Like put some respect on her name. It's the fact that they were able to, especially Taylor, have so much influence on Lala that she's literally just a piece to them. It's like, oh, unless you're, unless you're HOH like last week, then we just need you to shh. Don't say anything. Don't, don't play this game. Just go sit over there. Let us, let us do our thing. She's there to play a game too.
[00:41:52] And it's just like, she would, oh, she would be, she would be bawling if she knew they were talking about her like this. Like these are the people in the house that she currently trusts the most, but they have zero respect for her game. And I'm just like, oh, I want better. I want better for Lala. But it's just like, unless she were to, unless they threw up the live feeds and showed her, there's no way she would ever know this. And so she's going to forever be loyal to them. We got to get another Lala HOH one. Yes.
[00:42:27] So, so they also, by the way, are like, the other reason Lala is great for us. If somebody from the other side does win, they're going to put up Lala. God. Yeah. They're going to put up Lala. They're not going to target you guys. Of course. Davins is going to put up Lala during this ceremony too. It's going to be fine. She's such a big target in front of you. Oh, it just, Kamu just was so smart. Yeah. Lala. Lala. Yeah. Easily. They would all put up Lala.
[00:42:56] It's just, oh, what? Yes. It's the hubris in this house. It's infectious. I feel like it's just infiltrated its way. Maybe it's just in the vents in the HOH room. Cause that's really where it comes out the most. And it's just, I can't, I can't, I can't.
[00:43:18] And I, I don't know if there are ways to humble people in this house because look at Haley on the block two weeks in a row. She's still, there's, there's no saving her, but everyone else. I'm just like, they're going to try to justify whatever happens. If everything happens today, as, as we think it's going to happen, they're still going to make up some reason to where they are the superior players.
[00:43:48] Yeah. I mean, it, it, last season was full of like very timid gameplay and this season it's gone completely the opposite. It's like this really like, uh, like sort of like overconfident gameplay, but the end result isn't that dissimilar where like the overconfidence, uh, at least from the, like the overconfidence here is we don't need to target the icons yet. We'll just put them on the list. Uh, it's okay to have Haley on the block because we got control of the votes.
[00:44:19] Um, it, and from the icons, it's like, uh, we can flip votes all we want. At least that's, I guess, entertaining. Um, but, uh, but yeah, interesting, interesting stuff. Um, Angela's birthday begins at midnight. Night. So, uh, we are now officially in Angela's birthday and, uh, there's not much more game talk for the rest of the night. Drew and Mallory are going to continue to hang out there. They basically hang out every night is sort of their time together.
[00:44:48] Uh, Kamu is up with them a bit though, uh, at night as well. Um, and they're just kind of hanging out. That's, that's kind of the day. Asia. I love that when it was officially Angela's birthday, she goes, she gives everyone a hug. And like, she skips Barrett and D's like, where's Barrett's hug? But then I was like, why are y'all hugging in the first place? Nothing like, yes, I get, we have entered the territory of Angela's birthday, but it required a hug, uh, which was just hilarious.
[00:45:17] It's the same as hugging at the end of a nomination ceremony. Uh, it's just, it's just hilarious. Imagine if, if, if it instead was just like handshakes, right? You made it to 53. Congratulations.
[00:45:36] Oh, oh, but on the point of, uh, yeah, FAP hanging out or FAP hanging out, uh, at night, I thought it was funny that like, uh, at one point Barrett pointed out, he was like, you know what? We've officially played longer with D than any other survivor player. They're like, whoa, that's true. But then Drew goes, well, not Rick Devins. And then it took Barrett a second.
[00:46:04] Cause he was like, well, no, she didn't play with Rick Devins the first time. I was like, but she's playing with him now. So y'all have all been in the house the same length as Rick Devins. I thought that was funny. I got it. We got to get rid of Devins. Right. Exactly. Oh man. This, yeah. She's approaching, I believe, uh, uh, approaching or maybe already there are close to it. At least, uh, more days spent in the big brother house than she spent on the survivor Island.
[00:46:35] What's that? Like 26 plus. Yeah. However long. For sure. Yeah. However long that is. Um, but yeah, I know. I guess if you count her being on the jury, she was there the whole time. So you'd say 56, uh, 20, 26 plus 26. Yeah. Um, but, uh, but still. Yeah. Impressive. Yeah. All right. Anything else you wanted to bring up from yesterday, Asia?
[00:47:03] Um, I, I, Drew and Kamu did have a late night conversation in the kitchen where Drew brought up what I brought up on the last live feed update that they have, the survivor players have created this culture of figuring it out on Thursday. He's like, isn't, and I think he was bringing it up more of his observation because we all know how Drew really feels about Kamu, but he was like bringing, he's like, yeah, it's like, you know, we don't talk about things until Thursday because Devin's was saying how
[00:47:31] like sometimes they don't even figured it out until tribal and Kamu was like, okay, so yeah. So it was like the survivor players are the reason we do that. No, no, no, no, no. I'm just saying like, that's the culture. Every season has a culture that, you know, is created in this season. Our culture is no matter. Nothing you say during the week matters until Thursday morning. Might as well not even talk until Thursday. Exactly. So I'm like, these alliances don't matter. It's whoever people talk to, whoever people have this personal connection with. You can name stuff all you want.
[00:48:01] It's not going to last beyond their shared agenda, which I think right now the shared agenda, a shared agenda for the mosh pit is to get out Kamu. Once he's out, they're going to go scurrying around. There's no reason to all band together to get out Lala or to all band together to get out Taylor because they don't all feel that way. They are not all prioritizing getting those specific people out.
[00:48:27] It's just like this shared agenda right now is Kamu is enemy number one. So let's get him out. And then it's going to be a reshuffling like it's been all season. Yeah, I think my prediction would be Diamond Power of Vito happens. Kamu on the block. There's momentum there. Either Haley or Kamu leaves. The momentum carries into the following week. There's a shot taken at whoever stays, Kamu or Haley.
[00:48:54] But during that week, during next week, while Kamu or Haley have the shot taken at them, assuming that these seven win an HOH, which they might not, the reshuffling is happening prepping for the following week. Yeah. And maybe even to the point where there's another last minute vote flip at the end of next week. That's kind of the momentum I see the house moving in. But that is where we are at today. Okay. And here's what we've got.
[00:49:22] Tomorrow morning, of course, a live feed update, 11 a.m. Eastern. I'll tell you about everything that happens on Angela's birthday as the Diamond Power of Vito is in play. I'll be live today on my Patreon. If you want to hang out, we will be watching the feeds when they come back from the veto ceremony. I'll try to go live as soon as the feeds come back up. And we'll watch it. The video will be posted afterward as well if you're not able to make it live.
[00:49:50] That's been a very fun way, I think, for people to be able to experience these moments if they're not there watching at the time. And, of course, tonight's roundtable. So all of this will happen, ideally, in a nice little time frame that allows us to do the roundtable afterward. Who knows exactly what will happen otherwise? But we will see. I will have a survey out. I am going to wait.
[00:50:20] I'm going to wait to put the survey out until we get back from the veto ceremony. I'm going to wait because I feel like... Things will change. There's a lot of things going on there. So stay tuned for that as well. I'll be tweeting that out, Twitter and Blue Sky. Asia, what do you got going on? Yeah, so you can find me on all social media at Asia Like Asia. That's A-Y-S-H-A, like A-S-I-A. I will be in Milwaukee next week. So very excited about that.
[00:50:49] We have some exciting Big Brother to watch and experience together. So can't wait for that. I am currently talking about Married at First Sight Season 20 over on the We Know Dating Shows YouTube channel, as well as the Love at First Sight feed with my co-host Jason Reed. It's been such a good season. Such a good season. You can catch our full recaps of each batch of episodes.
