We may have a way to ask people questions. That's not our concern today because we have our final exit interview of the season with a pre-jury member. That is Haley. [00:03:35] I also just did a Summer of Stein. And Brittany Haynes will be on our recap on Thursday night. So jam-packed Big Brother Thursday. Of course, we have our interview with Haley. Here she is. Hey, Haley. What's going on? It's Rob and Taryn from RHAP. And this is such an interesting exit interview to do with you. Of course, I know that you had many tough weeks in the house. Hopefully that this has been a better week for you outside the house.

[00:04:03] But normally we talk to people who have not been online, that they haven't gotten their phones back, but you are out and free and in the wild. What's it been like to now come back and learn about everything that we got to see from your time in the house? Well, it's, you know, reading a lot of this stuff, you know, you kind of have to, you know, navigate it, you know, through it. But trying to get back into a routine, you know, kind of have like, you know, a good sleep schedule again.

[00:04:33] I think that's been the hardest part. But the rough weeks that I had, it had nothing to do with the game. And, you know, I just had a really hard time separating a lot of personal things and the mental side versus the game. So that's what I was referring to in that aspect. What has surprised you the most coming out of the house that you've sort of learned from your time in there?

[00:04:55] Um, some things that surprised me was some of the things that, you know, were hit on the most, like the bubbly, fun comment. I was exhausted. That was a long day. And so looking at it now, I was like, oh, no, that does look bad. But then also, you know, not getting a chance to explain, you know, why. Because I tried to, you know, be as strong as possible, you know, why I was having the hard weeks. But it is it's a really tough experience. And so, again, it had nothing to do with the game.

[00:05:23] I know I wasn't on the block, but mentally, you know, just trying to navigate through all the relationships and friendships that you had. And it just it it was a lot harder than I anticipated, for sure. One of the things that we had seen from your time in the house was that there were conversations where Taylor said she wanted to talk to you and have have difficult conversations with you to educate you about things, maybe things that you wouldn't like. Like we didn't end up seeing those conversations happen.

[00:05:50] Did did those conversations end up happening and were they informative for you? Yeah, we did talk. And again, I was incredibly grateful that, you know, she did bring it to my attention. You know, minus, you know, how the conversation started. You know, I was incredibly apologetic. I would never want anyone to ever feel that I was attacking somebody in a certain way or to make them feel that way. So I owned it. And again, I'm appreciative.

[00:06:15] You know, this life is all about learning and, you know, we're not going to be perfect, but I definitely know, you know, how to move forward with it. Well, you did get eliminated in the medieval one year 1000 contests. Obviously, you did volunteer for that first spot. But do you do you regret volunteering for that first? But do you think like if you had to go back, do you still think that's the best strategy for it?

[00:06:44] Because honestly, I don't even know what the best strategy for it is. You know, I don't regret it because it does give you the most chance or most chances to, you know, to get yourself out. So I also knew I didn't have anyone else to save me in there because the only people I was working with truly was Devin's and D who were already safe. And then our plan was to save Angela, you know, right off the bat. So I'd be relying on, you know, Drew or Barrett, but everybody else in the house wouldn't have saved me.

[00:07:14] So I knew for a fact that I just wanted to give myself the most chances. However, it didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I thought I played hard. You know, I never gave up and it just it is what it is. Haley, how tapped in are you into the current state of the house? Not so much. OK, not so much. I just tried to kind of, you know, get home. Are you aware of the the HOH and who's on the block tonight? Yeah, the only episode I watched was last night. So I am aware that Devin's on the block.

[00:07:41] OK, if Rick Devin's does not survive the blockbuster, would you have been up for voting out Rick Devin's? No, I wouldn't have. I stayed really true to my alliance. And that was something that I knew going in. You know, I was going to ride for the people that rode for me. And, you know, even from the beginning, I know we had, you know, that fallout, but we vended it. But I wouldn't have voted out Rick. No.

[00:08:05] Yeah, we saw that you and I think this was something that I think we anticipated from the preseason as well, because you talked about being loyal to a team that you seemed like you were a team player. And yet, like all of the alliances you were in just constantly betrayed you. Like, for instance, Angela and Dee flipping the vote to keep Melody and then lying about it.

[00:08:31] When, to my estimation at least, you would have been, if they just told you this is what we want to do, you would have been fine with it. But instead it kind of like blew up the tool shed. Obviously, you had an adverse reaction to eventually learning that Angela had been lying. What, you did eventually repair that relationship. So, like, what made you come back to Angela? And had you kind of fully forgiven her for it? Would you have completely forgotten it?

[00:09:00] So, this is where I have a hard time separating personal and the emotional in with the game. Again, this is a game. This was a game. We were all playing the game. We were all playing for a prize. However, I think I was good because I was like, you know what? This is part of it. You know, it's going to happen. But I was just more upset because this is the personal end where she shouted out my family and then, you know, portrayed, you know, the side of it. So, I think I was just more upset that it just felt personal at that end.

[00:09:30] But we ended up forgiving each other. And, you know, I apologize. She apologized. I still think she's an incredible person. But I was still going to stick true to her. Obviously, it was hard because now I kind of felt like I was alone at that point. But, I mean, you kind of just have to trust your gut and you have to, you know, kind of go with the people that you have been rocking with, even if, you know, there has been some ups and downs because that's going to be life too. So.

[00:09:55] Haley, since you've been out of the house, have you connected with any of the other house guests who are also out of the house? Yeah, I've actually talked to everyone besides Jason and Mallory. So, I've talked to everybody else. Yeah. Anything interesting from those conversations that they wanted to let you know after you connected with them? Um, I think Kama and I had a really good conversation. We really just kind of, you know, kind of went through the scenarios of, you know, different things.

[00:10:24] But he was incredibly supportive. Chuck being my ride or die in the house. He was actually my first phone call. I talked to him at the airport. And, you know, him just kind of going through, you know, the last couple weeks and kind of debriefing. It was just really refreshing and good to hear from them because they were two, you know, incredible friends in the house that I had. Haley, you talked a lot about feeling bullied in the house.

[00:10:49] Is that something that you still feel is true that, like, Lala was bullying you or that there was bullying going on? I did get isolated for the week. However, the conversation with Lala and I, it was super early in the morning. There's a couple of things that weren't shown and won't be shown because it wasn't on the live feeds or anything that I held on to more personally. Again, it was not me being able to separate, you know, personal and game. Um, and I shouldn't have said that. I really shouldn't have.

[00:11:18] And I do regret that. But I just didn't feel like the apology was sincere. And again, it was early in the morning and it is what it is. Specifically wasn't on the live feeds. I don't think I'm allowed to say that. No. Okay. I don't know. I mean, if it was your experience, I think you can. Yeah. Well, it's just, there was just a lot of, like, direct comments in front of multiple people. And so, it just, it didn't feel good. And, you know, it just is what it was.

[00:11:47] Haley, there must have been something that you learned about the game that was surprising to you once you got out of the house. Was there anything that was like that in terms of something you didn't know while you were in there that you have come to learn since? Well, I didn't realize that Angela and Dee were so close from the very beginning. So, that kind of surprised me a little bit. And then I saw some, you know, little alliances. Again, I haven't really went back and watched the entire show. Just certain clips.

[00:12:15] Some alliances that were formed, you know, really early on and middle. I didn't see that. Again, went right over my head. And, again, this is where I go back to saying that I wish I had more personal connections, you know, in the house to be able to kind of see that more. But I just didn't at the time. If you had made it to the end, who would have been your preference to take to the final two? Oh, my, with people already evicted or?

[00:12:43] With everyone left in the final 10 when you were evicted, yeah. Okay. I would probably still, I'd probably still go with Evans. I'd go with Evans. Okay. All right.
