Also available on YouTube.
Big Brother 28 hits its final stretch as Taran Armstrong welcomes Pooya for a live feed recap of Day 80, where Drew faces the seasonβs toughest decision: who to evict at Final 4. The tension centers on Drewβs choice between keeping Dee or Devens, and which path gives him the best shot at the endgame. Itβs a critical moment, as alliances are tested and the last competitions play a huge role in shaping the Final 3.
This episode dives deep into Drewβs headspace on eviction day and how his uncertainty about the 3 part HOH comp format influences his decision. The hosts break down the last-minute pitches from Dee and Devens, with Devens sealing the deal by quickly agreeing to throw Part 1 of the final HOH. Viewers walk through the immediate aftermath of eviction, where Drew chooses to evict Dee, locking in a Final 3 of Drew, Devens, and Taylor. The conversation then moves into Part 1 of the Final 3 HOH, where Taylor, once overlooked as a comp threat, clinches a big win and secures her spot in Part 3, leaving Drew and Devens to battle it out in Part 2.
- Taran discusses how Drew weighs emotion versus logic in deciding whether to keep Dee or Devens.
- The impact of Drew misunderstanding the current HOH Part 3 format becomes a key factor in his choice.
- Devens promises to throw Part 1 to Drew, while Deeβs hesitation may cost her safety.
- Taylorβs unexpected victory in Part 1 overturns the usual endurance comp statistics.
- The hosts examine the odds for Taylor, Drew, and Devens heading into the last comps and jury vote.
With power shifting and the endgame wide open, the houseguests must decide who can and canβt be trusted with a Final 2 deal. Will Taylorβs momentum carry her to the end, or will Drew and Devens block her path at the last minute? Tune in now for a full breakdown of every move, pitch, and competition shaping Big Brother 28βs closing week.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_09] An Armstrong's hot big brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the strategy and silliness from FEO to HOA. Every single season, you know he is the reason.
[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_09] You know what's happening, could do it tomorrow.
[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_16] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September 25th. I'm your host, Jaren Armstrong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The big brother 28 live feeds. It was day 80 in the house. And we had an eviction.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_16] And we had a part one of the final three HOH. So we know who the final three is. And we know one of the two players that will be competing in part three of the final three HOH. And plenty to talk about in between, I'm sure. And with me to talk about it is Pouya. How you doing Pouya?
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02] For the last time this season, Taran, back here with you. Excited to talk about some stuff. We do have a little bit. The theme of the Pouya Fridays this season has been, we have a little bit. So we'll see how far it goes. And then we make it, we make it last. So let's see where we go today.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_16] Yes. Yes. So of course, the last time we spoke, Taylor was the final four HOH. Drew and D were still on the block, but Drew was holding the veto. So we knew that Drew was going to make the decision between D and Devin's, which one they were planning or he was planning to evict. And I felt like he was leaning in the direction of evicting Devin's. That's what it felt like.
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_16] But there was an interesting conversation that we had talked about that night where Drew had asked D if she was willing to throw part one of the final three HOH to him. And I felt like if she had just said like automatic, yes, like surely he would see through the lie. So some hesitation followed by an agreement would probably be her best tactic. Her hesitation was followed by, I'm going to pretend you didn't ask me that question.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, which when I watched it, I was like, I didn't really feel like it was that big of a deal. It was like D doing her classic jokey D stuff. Uh, but we have talked about like D joking around with Drew and his weaselness and all of that, uh, sometimes doesn't fully land.
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, and so heading into the morning of day 80, drew maybe is feeling a little bit, not as good, uh, about the decision. It's hard to know where his head was at the night before. It's hard to know if his mind shifted. Uh, he did tell Taylor, uh, on the night of day 80 last night that, uh, that he did go back and forth genuinely.
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_16] So it is very real, a very real possibility that this had a significant impact on his decision, but coming into again, day 80, he's still got this on his mind. Who? Yeah. I, I want someone to throw apart one of the final three HOH to me.
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. He would like for a volunteer, please. And thank you. Make it a little easy, make it a 50 50 for him to win the competition out there. This is a very interesting discussion we're about to have, or people have been having already. So I'm very curious. Once we finished talking about the whole picture to pick your brain on it.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_16] Yes. So Devins talks to drew in the morning, he gives him another pitch. It's a similar pitch to the one he's already given you lose to D she's not taking you. She spends so much time with Taylor.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_16] You're still a little weasel to her. Um, and this time it feels a little bit different, right? Like this time drew seems a little bit more receptive. He goes and he talks to the cameras afterward and he's starting to think about, uh, like, um, well, okay.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_16] And I've been talking about this all week that like, you got logic, you got emotion and the emotion gets those tendrils into the logic sometimes. And, uh, and, uh, and drew is starting to, I think find logical pathways that agree that align with the, the emotional decision.
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, and again, these are basically drew's own words calling the decision, uh, to keep devins, the emotional one into a victim, the logical one.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, and he starts to say that he thinks maybe one, maybe like the key difference here, uh, seemingly is that if he keeps devins, then him and devins are more likely to be able to box Taylor out of part three of the final three HOH.
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_16] Um, and because he fears Taylor in part three of the final three HOH because he is under the assumption that part three of the final three HOH is the old format that they have not done since big brother 20, which is question about, uh, a juror, uh, in terms, not in terms of like facts, but in terms of like their personality.
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_16] So, uh, the example I gave last night is like, the question might be something like, what was, was Lala's favorite moment of the season when she a won the tongue veto or B won the wall? Uh, and then, you know, in drew's mind, Taylor would know the answer to that because she knows Lala a lot better than I do.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_16] Um, and so now we know that since big brother 20, they changed this competition to be like, uh, Lala's Lala competed against 17 people in three competitions. Right. Uh, Lala competed, uh, or Lala is the oldest person to ever win the wall. Lala is, uh, blah, blah, blah.
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_16] And then like one of these things is true or what, two of these things are like whatever, right? Much more fact-based, much more studied, but there's no personality in it. Uh, he doesn't, yeah, he doesn't seem to know this. Uh, now we know that drew kind of like studied up, right? Um, that he like is a big fan of Dr. Will. Um, but he's not somebody that like was a huge big brother person.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_16] He just did a lot of studying and, uh, and like his friends helped him. And so apparently one of the things that slipped through the cracks was the exact consistency of part three of the final three HOH, which feels like a pretty big omission.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02] It's funny. Cause it does feel like a pretty big omission because this is like, you know, all of all the things with big brother expect the unexpected, but a lot of the formatting can stay the same or stagnant with, you know, people being able to predict when a double is or what the end game looks like. And I think that it's funny to me because I do think that there are a subset of people and people do this when they study for tests all the time. You'll ignore like the chapters that y'all glossed over, but you'll focus on the ones that took a lot of time at, you know, in class.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02] Like if a chapter took three weeks to do versus a chapter that took five days, you're like, well, the three weeks one, we put in more work. There's going to matter. I think that combined with the fact that it's a long game, you are not necessarily expecting yourself to go all the way to the end. You're like, if I get all the way to the end, I'll figure it out. Cause I've already got to the end. Let me survive the first half of the game. So I think they almost overstudy there and then they come up short here. This is a blatant though, to me oversight because it has been seven seasons since that format change.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_02] And it's been this way since then. So even if he's new and he's only watched two seasons, if you watch two season of completion in the new era, you would know what the end game is. So as tough as that is, how much Taryn, do you think that this is the catalyst for Drew's mind spinning versus other factors?
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_16] It's so, I mean, it's hard to know, right? Like he did bring this up and what this is, so it's wild too. He brought this up to Taylor. Like there's, there's a world where this is the thing, the thing that tipped the scales. Uh, and similar to like a couple of things that almost happened previously in the season, like the, uh, the melody flip, um, the, the lyric flip, uh, where like that information almost didn't get to Drew.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_16] And him and Barrett almost were just going to go along with voting out melody. And the lyric flip might've never happened. Uh, that's what it at least felt like at the time, because like they, like they talked to D and D was like, uh, like, yeah, yeah, that's what we're doing. Uh, because you didn't understand that they didn't know, understand, but he talked to Taylor and he was like, well, you're going to, you're going to have a much better time. You're going to be a much bigger threat, uh, in part three, uh, because you know, the jurors a lot better.
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_16] And she was like, what? He's like, yeah, like you're going to be able to answer the questions better. And she was like, okay. Like she didn't understand. And then they just moved on. Like she, she didn't ask for clarification to like see what the, the confusion was. And then they moved on. There's a world where she's like, wait, what do you mean? Part three that isn't that about facts? And he would have been like, is it maybe, or maybe you'd been like, no, it's about personality.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_16] Um, but, uh, but like there's a world where if she had asked that question, he would have realized it wasn't that. And then maybe if this was the thing that tipped the scales, he doesn't make this decision.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I think the other thing that's a little surprising to me is how much drew is not backing himself in a part three, the old format way. Cause I think drew has talked to hella people. In fact, one of the reasons why there was a lot of paranoia about drew from his alliance early on is because drew was seen talking to a lot of people and they were concerned with how much people share with him. So I'm surprised drew wouldn't back himself in an old format part three. Anyway. Uh, what is this insecurity coming from? What's the stem here?
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_16] I think it's his relationship with Lala and Yash is that he feels like he specifically Lala has no relate. He, I think he, he fears the world where Lala's question comes up and he gets it wrong and Taylor gets it right because she knows Lala better. Uh, and then Taylor is able to get all the other questions that he's able to get, uh, as basically the theory. That's what he brings up. He still fears this.
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_16] He brings it up to Taylor last night that like, if he ends up facing her in part three, that like, uh, she will know Yash's. She will know Lala's. She will know melodies. She will know Barrett's. Uh, and you know, like he might not, you know, like for as much as he's talked to people, a lot of it's been game. Uh, and he's, he's like, remember too, that like, well, Dr. Will's whole thing was, I don't know shit about these people.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_16] That's why, that's why he like through every competition in big brother too, because a lot of them were about knowing people in big brother too. Uh, sometimes unfairly so. Um, and so, uh, I think that's like part of his mentality as well is like, you know, I don't know these people. But it's also like, it's, it, it also kind of shows the shallowness of his knowledge here because it's not really about knowing people. It's such a crap shoot.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_16] The, the, the producers put in questions that are trick questions all the time in that part three. It's, it's, we've always considered it to be maybe not always, but for a long time, we considered it to be a crap shoot. Uh, much more so than like who actually, uh, knows the people better.
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I think also, you know, to your point of, he mostly talks game, uh, he has talked with Taylor about how attentive she is and how she like would be observing people. And I think that's made him very nervous, uh, noticing that, you know, she's picking up on things without being told the things. Uh, which I think that just, if someone has reads like that, you might be concerned, well, what do they know that I don't know? And also because they're not vocalizing all of that stuff, you are not being given that stuff.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02] You have to investigate to figure out, and he's not investigated her to figure out how much does she know? And I think the unknown does terrify him.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_16] Yeah.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_12] How do you protect the world and the people you love at the same time?
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_05] Every case hits home on Line of Fire. Monday on NBC.
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_16] So, uh... He talks about that. He talks about that worry. He goes back to Devin's. And he asks Devin's if he's willing to throw part one of the final three HOH to him. And Devin says, Yes. 100%. Of course. Yes. Uh... And he's like, Awesome. Because I need you to beat Taylor in part two. I don't want her getting to part three. Um... And, uh... He, you know, he's getting worried about both Taylor and Devin.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_16] They're both pitching to evict Devin's. And so they're gonna have to be taking each other. Um... And he also doesn't want to spend a week in the house with D and Taylor. Alone. Uh... And honestly, he'd rather lose to Devin's. He'd feel really bad if he cost Devin's a shot and ended up third place anyway. So... He's decided he is gonna take Devin's.
[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, I think that while I wouldn't attribute D's, uh... Like, loss of traction here on the fact that she hesied on his question of, Would you throw the competition? I do think saying yes or no immediately can help that. But I also think part of it was, I'm gonna have to make eye contact with Papa when I cut him. And I don't think I can do that. So, like you said earlier, all the other facts that he put together to justify it, to go along with the emotion, I think is what helped.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_02] And I think it just helps that Devin's was very quick to be like, Yep, I'll do that. And I know we're on the same page. We need to get rid of Taylor. Or we need to beat Taylor and make sure we block her from part three. So I get that completely.
[00:18:00] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_16] Uh... So, yeah. I mean, I think... Trying to piece this together, again, we don't know for sure, but Drew did say that he went back and forth. I think there's a very real chance, based on the things he's saying, that he was always leaning emotionally toward keeping Devin's. But maybe, you know, logically, he was leaning toward keeping D at points. But then, when D didn't agree to throw part one, and also, because they talk about this later,
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_16] kind of threw it in his face, like, I'm going to pretend you didn't ask me that question. Um, I think that turned him off. He went into the next day, searching even harder for reasons why he should keep Devin's. And then came up with the part three reason. And then asked Devin's the same question, to give Devin's an opportunity to respond more positively. And then that's what's potentially sold him on this choice. Uh,
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_16] and then D comes up to him. She asks him if there are any last minute concerns. And he says, no, we're good.
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02] It is kind of wild that we're in a world where we can and do see cutting the winner of survive, a winner of survivor, a million dollar winner is the wrong move versus someone else. But the reality is where he's sitting. I do think that the decision to take Devin's guarantees a 22 year old, 75 grand also, because I think in every permutation of that's the final three, you're probably assuming drew is sitting in one of the chairs
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_02] because Taylor's going to have to cut Devin's and Devin's is going to win regardless. So you probably give it to his son, right? So I do think from that perspective as well, it's something to consider. It's just so difficult, especially for me, not having ever played, not being in a position where a decision can either guarantee me 75, 750, or if I gamble, none of those options, it might be a tough position to be in. Also, I think,
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_16] well, it brings us to the eviction, which we saw last night where drew stood up there and evicted D from the game, bringing us to our final three of Devin's drew and Taylor.
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02] Here we are. Here we are. The final, I'm assuming final. Yeah, this, the graphic isn't going to change the two people or one person. Uh, this is it. This is the last iteration aside from some, some, I guess, updates to who wins, which comps Taryn.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_16] Yes. which I didn't specifically make things of, but don't worry. I've, I have old, old icons. I'm reusing.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. It's a plan. Y'all don't worry. It's all good.
[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, drew and Devin's after the eviction, they talk, you know, Devin's is very much like, uh, like proud of you kid. Thanks for that, bro. Um, they talk about how they're definitely not taking Taylor. Lots of that. Um, uh, especially here, right in the media, in the immediacy of the post eviction, like we've got this, we're, we've got to block Taylor out from part three. Uh, we're going to take each other. Now, importantly,
[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_16] drew did still say to the cameras, he was planning to evict Devin's by beating him in part three. Um, but he's obviously going to tell Devin's here that he plans to take him. Um, although you can't ever discount the fact that he was telling melody the night before he won the veto that he was planning to evict Devin's and then didn't. Um, so there's certainly time for him to, for the tendrils to get into the logic again. Uh,
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_16] Devin's talks about how he's more of a big brother guy at this point than a survivor guy. Uh, drew does say again, these hesitation to throw part one did make him feel uncomfortable. And Devin's like, yeah, so that was a lot of nerve for her to say that she was going to pretend you never asked her. Um, and drew is like, yeah. And she was like, she was saying that like, I'm going to definitely going to lose to you. And like, I've always done everything that you wanted,
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_17] but like the same was true of her. So like, I don't know.
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_02] Did it feel to you a little bit like this was like, this is like when you've made the decision and you have to remind yourself why you made the right decision. Cause that's kind of the energy I got from him a little bit. Yes.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_16] Yeah, I think so. Uh, and then the feeds go down again for part one of the final three. HOH. Uh, now heading into part one of the final three HOH, uh, which tends to be endurance. You, you know, you're trying to figure out who is, who is the most, who's the best shot at this. Uh, drew performed by far the best on the wall. Um,
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_16] and Devin's outperformed Taylor on the wall. Uh, so Taylor winning, this is not the most likely outcome. Uh, but I've, I've been saying all season and especially to you, Yash, uh, Taylor is a better competitor. Then I think the comp wins themselves, uh, let on her position, her placement in competitions has actually been pretty good overall.
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_16] So don't count her out. Um, well, we go into the final part one, but the thing about parts one, two, and three of the final three HOH is that they are very consistent and that they tend to go along with the statistics more than almost any other competition. Um, uh, I, I was, I was doing some, uh, some research on this afterward because I thought it was quite interesting, but, uh, so we'll talk about some of the stats, but before we get there,
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_16] I'll tell you in part one of the final three HOH, Taylor, Taylor wins part one. She is going to part three of the final three HOH. Now it is not clear cut like it was last season, or at least close to that. If she wins part three, she will go on to win the game.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_16] Um, but she certainly needs to, I think, win part three if she wants a chance to win the game. Uh, and so this is huge and it's very bad for Devin's, uh, who really could have used a part one win to guarantee himself a part three and now has to face drew in part two, where theoretically drew is the harder person to beat in part two.
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, but either way, um, huge win, huge win for Taylor.
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_02] Massive. Um, this was a very fun wake up. I feel like Taylor has been responsible for some very fun Thursday nights for a lot of us, Friday mornings for a lot of us the last two weeks. And this is no different because to me, I do think that this was the, from some people unexpected. This is the one like no one's betting on the Taylor fans are hoping, praying. I want this outcome. We're a little bit nervous, right? Especially when she's facing two of the bigger comp threats of the season. Yash not here. These two have been the other two.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_02] So the fact that she pushed them right back down, the fact that drew made a decision 1000% based on an idea of, I don't want Taylor in the part three, but guess what? She's now in the part three. The two of you have to fight for the other spot. And then you still have to try and take her out. The way she's become the final boss of the season. Somehow. This storyline is incredible. I've loved it.
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_16] Yes. So I was, I was looking into it cause I was like, I was thinking about how like there's sometimes are surprise part two winners. Ashley last season. Um, and sometimes it even comes to like a little closer in part two than you might think. Uh, but weirdly like part one is pretty, pretty predictable. Uh, generally because it's an endurance competition and because they've usually done a few endurance competitions prior,
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_16] you usually get some good information on who is likely to win it. Uh, and, um, and so like in terms of, uh, just like also, you know, when you go to the end and there's two people that are the comp winners and then there's one person that's not the guy, like there's an underdog going into part one. I was thinking back, like, when's the last time the underdog of the final three, one part one of the final three HOH.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_16] And I was going back and I was like, well, Morgan won it. Uh, you know, Chelsea won it. does it? Jag and Matt played rock, paper, scissors for it. Oh my God.
[00:27:04] I forgot about that.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_16] Um, and, and you just, you keep going back. Um, you know, like, uh, you should keep going back. Xavier, uh, Nicole, uh, Jackson, Tyler, like you keep, Paul, uh, you keep going back and you keep going back. And it's like every time it's like a, yeah, huge comp winner of the season wins part one.
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_17] And I went, Oh yeah, I went all the way back. So big brother eight.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_16] When Zach beat the Donato's in part one, and Zach was no slouch in competitions either. Right. I was going to say, but like, you know, it was, it was against Danielle Donato in an endurance competition. You know what I mean? Like, uh, uh, like that was, it's a, and, and, and evil Dick was no slouch in competitions himself. And they were kind of like, they had the momentum going for him. Uh, but you know, it's just arguably,
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_16] it just doesn't happen that often that the underdog manages to win, uh, part one of the final three HOH. Uh, people are talking about big brother Canada. It's different competition. So big brother Canada is a whole, whole separate thing.
[00:28:15] Um,
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_16] and so, uh, I also was looking at like, okay, how often, because, because we were, we were looking at the, uh, the wall and the performance on the wall. Uh, Drew and Devin's both outlasted Taylor on the wall. And yet she just beat them in an endurance comp. Uh, and so, uh, like when is the last time that happened? And it turns out it happened actually pretty recently, uh, that, um, Chelsea, uh, beat MJ and cam in part one of the final three HOH, uh,
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_16] after having been outlasted by both of them on the wall. Um, but then prior to Chelsea, it had only happened one time before that, which was Paul beating Nicole and, uh, and James in part, uh, in part one of the final three HOH of big brother, 18. And then technically Dan beats Ian and Danielle in part one, when he was outlasted by both of them in the wall,
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_16] but they both threw it to him. So that doesn't really count. So like, right. It's literally, it's happened twice before Paul and Chelsea. And now Taylor, uh, who really like outperforms all of the statistics here to, uh, to win part one of the final three HOH.
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_02] I love that. I love that. We are in a position where you, you kind of have a rock, paper, scissor balance going where it's like, well, Devin's beats Taylor and wall, but Taylor beats final part one, final three endurance. Like it's not one person just eating up all the endurances, which I'm happy about that. I do think that's quite fun. Um, and it keeps things unpredictable. I always want it to be surprised. I want to be wowed and consider me wowed happily. Yes.

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_03] Avatar Fire and Ash is now streaming on Disney+. It's the film critics are calling the best avatar yet.
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_07] Go, go, go,
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03] go. A true epic and completely jaw dropping.
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_08] This is the only pure thing in this world.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_03] Return to Pandora on Disney+. It will be an adventure for the whole family. And watch the Oscar winning phenomenon at home.
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01] This is sick.
[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_03] Avatar Fire and Ash now streaming on Disney plus rated PG 13. Monday on NBC.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_11] U.S. Marshall.
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_05] All new Line of Fire. The thrilling new crime drama.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_11] The world sees us as heroes, but they don't know what the job really costs.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_04] One family of federal agents. It's one thing to put yourself in danger. It's different when it's your family. Balances duty to their country. An assassin is still out there. Stop!
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_05] And each other.
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_12] How do you protect the world and the people you love at the same time?
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_05] Every case hits home on Line of Fire. Monday on NBC.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_14] What are you doing?
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_15] Setting up my poll. I need to go viral to earn extra cash. And you're going to help me. Here, start filming when I say.
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_14] Seems like a lot when you could just depop all those boots.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_15] Ugh, resale sucks. They take such a big cut.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_14] There's no selling fees on depop. And it's easy to list.
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_15] Ugh, really? Huh, easy.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_14] Make money on depop with no selling fees. Download depop and start selling today.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_16] So, I've got a little, I've got some more statistics for you heading into part two. Oh, shoot, okay. Because, again, these things tend to be like very consistent aside from a couple of outliers. Um, but, uh, the final four veto, like, uh, the days comp, um, is very, very, uh, strongly correlated. I mean, the sample size is low.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_16] But, like, uh, very strongly correlated to the winner of part two. Um, so, like, I think five of the six people who won part two, uh, who also played in the final four veto went on to win, like, both of these, like, the specific, like, you know, get the days. Because it's the new more physical version of it. Uh, um, have, like, that strongly correlates. The physical version of, like, hitting the buttons to get to the right number.
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_16] Um, and it also pretty strongly correlates to the final part three as well. Uh, so, Drew definitely has a good shot there. Now, BB Comics actually is also pretty correlated to part two. Um, but Drew did not compete in BB Comics. So, uh, that's, you can't really count that one. Um, and, uh, and then when it comes to part three, the strongest correlation for part three by a huge mile
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_16] is just who has won more competitions. For part three of the final three HOH, ever since they changed it to be a quiz, Big Brother 20, it's only happened once that the person who has won fewer competitions won part three against somebody who had won more competitions, and that was last season when Ashley beat Morgan. It is, it had never happened before prior to that.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, so, Taylor will need to, you know, also outperform that statistic in part three. Uh, but I think she can't. You know what I mean? Like, I, I, I think that a huge reason why the statistics are the way they are is because people often take somebody that they know is not going to perform well in these final three competitions because they are so consistent.
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_16] And I think that everyone has consistently underestimated Taylor's ability in competitions. They all thought they would be able to beat her easily in these things, despite the fact that she had placed fairly highly in a lot of the competitions. She just hadn't been able to pull any of them out. So, uh, some interesting stuff going on here.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Cause I think that, um, and this was to me true throughout this season with someone like Barrett, who was constantly like runner up in a lot of comps. And I was like, to me, this is a person who is capable of winning comps. You can't just go off statistic. You can't just go off who won the whole thing, because if someone's second or third, they were just as close, if not practically there. Do you have to factor that in? I, and then the reason why I'm so happy this morning, I do love an underdog story.
[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_02] I am one of the few people currently sitting here telling you that any of these three winning I'm fine with, I was fine with the final five on basically. So I'm happy with either outcome. Underdog is fun. It takes me back to, to go back to BB can for a second. If everyone will allow me, I'm thinking of Paris. I'm thinking of Paris who goes to the final three, the true underdog of the competitions there finishes it out, wins part three, and then proceeds to have one of my favorite final twos we've ever had between her and Kayla.
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_02] So I'm kind of here to see what happens. And I think that it makes part two a lot more nerve wracking. It makes it a lot more intense. And I think that's fun as well. In the last, you know, since BB 22, we've had at least to my memory, two big crash outs at a final part two HOH. Who's going to forget Enzo calling himself a donkey, yo, after losing. And then obviously last year goes without saying what happened with Vince. So who knows what's going to happen? Tensions are going to be high.
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_02] Father, son have to face off. LeBron and LeBron Jr. Bronny have to face off. How is this going to go down? We'll see. So story. We got fun.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_16] Yeah. And I mean, listen, this is why I always preferred the old version of part three is because I don't, I don't like, I think it's easily the optimal strategy. I don't like the strategy of you should bring an easy beat to the final three because that will just give you the win because they can't win part final three HOH because final three HOH is so predictable and tends to be pretty physical. I don't like that. It was the obvious move to take Will over Ashley last season because none of this would
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_16] have happened if they had done so theoretically. Um, and so I like, I like that we are getting these, these statistic beating, uh, competition wins because I would prefer that you go to final three with people that you think you socially and strategically are able to outmaneuver. Uh, that like if you are a Devons and you are relying on just like winning your way to
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_16] the end instead, what if you are a Devons and you have to actually like take somebody that you think will bring you to the end? Uh, like that is more interesting to me. Uh, and you know, arguably that's the decision Drew just made. Uh, even though I think that it was, you know, if I'm looking at the, you know, the odds myself because everything is so predictable, it's usually the better play to just bring the two, uh, lesser comp threats and hope that you can win yourself.
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, but I think it's more interesting if you have to look at, well, maybe I want to, to try to find a way to make sure people bring me. Uh, and so, uh, I I'm, I'm loving this. This is fun stuff.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I'm very much here for this. I think that, uh, there used to be a time Taryn where by the five, like final three was like, all right, well the game's over. We're exhausted. Let's just see who won part one. Who's with all part two tune out, come back finale night last year. We thankfully were blessed with a final three that we're going that were determined to make it as entertaining as they could all the way to the bitter end. And for me right now, there's enough going on here.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_02] Tate, just the fact that Taylor is going to be guaranteed a spot at the part three. Now makes this entire week fun. Um, because I do think Devins is still the big bad that they should all cut, right? If Devins wins part two, there's going to be so much tension and nerves leading up to Thursday. That'd be phenomenal because I think the potentially worst case here is drew wins. And then him and Taylor are like, well, we know what we got to do. Right.
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_02] And obviously we've seen drew already, you know, have difficulty potentially cutting a Devins this time. It feels more obvious than ever that he should. Could that change? We don't know. Maybe there's excitement there, but if Devins wins today, that's where we have max peak tension, nerves, excitement, ambition, like hope everything brews going to Thursday, which would be great.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_16] Yeah. I think if Devin, if drew wins part two, I think the final two will be roughly locked to Taylor and drew. Um, well, you never know. Uh, and the real question at that point will be who is the one that gets to cut devins. Um, if drew does it, I do think he is much more likely to win.
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_16] Uh, if Taylor does it, I think it gives her a much better shot. Um, granted I tweeted this out that, uh, you know, last night, Rob brought up an interesting scenario, which is that like, there's a world where it could make more sense for Taylor to actually cut drew and bring devins. Um, just, and then hoping that the, uh, the non icons all vote for her to win.
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_16] Essentially, uh, Lala, Yash, Barrett, and melody, because she might need, basically she would need melody or Angela's vote. If he and devins are to be believed, which they very recently said they would for sure vote drew over Taylor. Uh, so if that's the case, then, uh, then she, um, she needs Angela or melody, both of
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_16] whom feel difficult to get over drew when D is in the jury saying to Angela, we're voting drew over Taylor shortly. Um, possible to get Angela harder to get melody, but if you're not sitting next to drew, it's easier to get melody. Uh, potentially. Um, but it's harder to get Yash and Barrett. Uh, and it's like, you know, uh, like I said, I, it's not the move I would make, but
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_16] it's an interesting sort of thought experiment to think about of like, there actually are maybe some scenarios where it could, could actually make some sense.
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. This is the point of the season where I always wish a, they could all talk strategy in the jury house and B we could watch that because I'm curious because, you know, this has been very well documented here in many other places that basically from like the final four on D leaves right to hotel right away. You only see the rest of them at jury round table. Final three person leaves. They just show up on stage. There's not enough discussion, but I'm, this excites me.
[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02] Like I would love to know if what there is any validity to what Rob said, if there is hope in that, if people's thoughts have been shifting or not, because I do think that when it comes to every season, there'll be one person that gets essentially marked as this is the threat of our season and they can follow that goodwill to the bank because from like mid game, everyone's like, this is the front runner. If you don't get rid of this person, we're going to vote for them to win. Devins is still here at final three.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_02] So I think it's a hard sell to take Devins to the end and catch the votes and keep them. But I do think the X thought exercise is fun because there is a world where that could happen. Obviously a lot of things need to go right for that to happen. The right conversations, the right people nudging people at the right time, the right. Let's be honest, the right feeling you'll wake up on the right side of the bed that day and the person's conversations rubbing you the right way and not the wrong way. So a lot of things would have to happen.
[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_02] Your allies would have to put in a good word for you and start moving that needle a little bit. It still feels to me overwhelmingly that I still think Devins got this no matter what, but it's a fun exercise for sure.
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_16] Yes. Yeah. So there's really not much more after Taylor wins is Drew and Devins being like, damn, well, now we really can't take Taylor. Right. And Drew talks to Taylor late into the night. He says to her, wow, man, you've really got a great shot to win part three because you just know the jury so well. You'll know Lala's answer. You know, Yasha's answer. You know, Melody's answer. And she's like, I guess.
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_17] I mean, I'll have to get to those chairs first. And he's like. Well, OK.
[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_16] And it's it's they're passing each other in the night with the misunderstanding. She's she thinks he's talking about the jury speeches like, you know, the jury better. You'll be you'll be great talking to the jury in the final two. Because she doesn't understand that he's trying. He's talking about part three and he's talking about part three of the final three. H.O.H. Questions that will be asked. So she's like, well, I'll have to get to the jury to get to the final two first. And he's like in his mind, like, well, you've already won part one.
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_16] You already are in part three, Taylor. But I'm not going to bother correcting you. Like, it's so wild that they that he still hasn't been able to be corrected.
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_02] I love it so much because in Taylor's mind, she's saying jobs not done. I won part one jobs not done. I'm not even going to begin to think about how much I've got anybody until I'm in those final two chairs. Meanwhile, all Drew is thinking is, damn, the thing I was worried about most. She's so got this locked in because that part three is it's her bread and butter. She's got this. And all I can say is, Drew, focus on part two, my guy. Like you, you do not need to think about part. You do not have a ticket yet. Book your ticket first, then to think about that.
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_02] And you have plenty of time to think about that anyway. Not right now, though.
[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_16] And this is where he says that he, you know, his decision was about wanting to be guaranteed second place by taking Devins to the final three. He did go back and forth a bunch in the decision. She says she understands she was going to cut Drew to take D. She thinks she would have had a better chance of beating D. And so now she has to take him because obviously nobody can take Devins. They both agree. Nobody's going to take Devins. They're going to be taking each other. She says, yeah, you're guaranteed final two, Drew.
[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_16] For me, it's win or go home, obviously. So, you know, it's like this is what they would say this to each other regardless. But this at the very least is more confirmation, I would say, from Taylor to somebody else other than D that she still plans to cut Devins. I guess we heard it from the diagram at Final Four as well.
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_16] But no hint yet that Taylor is thinking about even even thinking about cutting Drew instead of Devins. She said she seems to understand that it is the obvious choice.
[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_02] The obvious choice is right there. I think this is the cutting D and taking Devins should have and practically has made the obvious choice appear for final three for two parties. One of us wins. We cut this man. That's our best shot. Easy done. No ambiguity to it. But this is Big Brother. And sometimes ambiguity can happen out of thin air. And people will question the obvious decision as, but is it so obvious that that's not the right decision?
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02] Only time will tell. Yeah.
[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_16] So that's about it. I do. I do think that, like, despite it all, I do think Taylor still has a decent chance here. Um, because I, I do think she gets Lala, Yash, Barrett. Um, and, you know, again, that question of like sitting next to Drew or sitting next to Devins. The thing about cutting Devins is that it is that kind of like last minute.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_16] But cutting Devins gives you something outside of what the roundtable discussion would have been. Uh, so like, even if D is like, well, Drew played a much better game than Taylor, uh, Angela. Because, because my thing is, I don't think Angela will want to vote separately from D. Like, fair. Angela, throughout season 26, she, her main thing, she just wanted to be in the, in the group.
[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_16] You know, she was willing to be on the bottom. She just wanted to be part of something. And from, from the moment she walked into Big Brother 28 house, she was so relieved and overjoyed to be part of an actual core group. Uh, and I think that she will want to be, she, yeah, she wants to be a part of, of them. You know what I mean? And so I think she will want to vote with D. However, she will only be able to talk to D at the roundtable.
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_16] Then be sequestered alone for a while. And if the discussion at the roundtable is, well, if Drew wants to win, he needs to cut Devins. If Drew wants to win, he needs to cut Devins. Devins should win. Devins should win. Devins should win. That's the focus. And if Drew wants to win, he needs to cut Devins. And they don't talk about like Taylor versus Drew all that much. Then there is a chance that like, while sequestered alone, like, you know, the, she only talks to D the once.
[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_16] Then they're there and they're sitting and they're waiting. And Devins walks out and Julie says, Taylor won the final three HOH and made the move to cut. There is a world where Angela is like, wow, Taylor did it. And then just votes that way. And maybe she's not sitting next to D in the seats. Genuinely, I've been to Big Brother Canada finales. Who sits next to each other in the seats on the jury matters because they talk.
[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_16] And if they're not sitting next to each other, they can't talk. So that could also be a thing. You know what I mean? Like, you just, you just don't know. So interesting stuff. Curious to see who manages to pull out part two. Devins might be drawing dead if he does not win this one. But what's new? This is like the fifth straight week in a row that Devins is in a do or die win a competition position. So I guess he, he may listen. He got out. Oh, he got out last week.
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_16] But seems like he's back in one now.
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Two of our three finalists here have been in so many do or die positions that have literally had to win that comp to not go home. And they're here now at the final three, very much in a position of maybe I do need to win or I will go home. So we'll find out how it all plays out again. I'm just happy that we're in a position where there is plenty to still talk about before the season wraps up.
[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_02] Because more often than not, this could be the week where everything was just easy, done, and everyone's packing up to go home. Stay unpacked. Keep those energy drinks in the fridge. Keep those coffees up. Who knows what's going to happen? Let's have fun.
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_16] All right. Well, that is what we have for you today. I will be back tomorrow at noon Eastern. We're just doing noon all the way through to the end of the season here. So stay tuned for noon Eastern. I will be back to update when everything happens today on the Big Brother 28 live feeds, including if they do end up playing part two, we'll have the results of that. I don't remember exactly the schedule, especially because this schedule is, I think, even more lengthened than last season in terms of when the finale actually is.
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_16] But either way, we'll have some more for you tomorrow. At noon. And then that's, I mean, we're closing in here, guys. Sunday night episode. I'll be live on Patreon, Twitch and YouTube. And then finale night. Make sure you tune in for that. In the meantime, though, I will likely be streaming on Patreon. Trader's New Blood episodes three and four. If you want to check out me watching those episodes, see what my thoughts are.
[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_16] And and Pouya. We just got the coverage of it.
[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_02] You know it. Yeah. Three and four. Very fun episodes. This season has started off great. I think the biggest disservice this season has done to itself is it's airing on the same nights as Big Brother. So I know a lot of people haven't checked them out. You're probably going to have a lot of time this week. Catch up. There is no new episode next week. So there is a bye week here. So you have two weeks to catch up on four episodes and be ready. Myself and Rob have had a fun time talking about all of it. We have exits coming up. So be on the lookout for those.
[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_02] And literally every other Trader season that's happening. I've been getting a lot of Taryn. I've been getting a lot of, hey, where's the Ireland coverage? Did you give up? No. Annabelle was gone. So we have a big undertaking after this. I'm watching six episodes of Traders Ireland in a row and then hopping on with Annabelle to talk about it all. So that's what I'm coming out soon. And then tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern, I'll be live on Twitch to talk about literally anything y'all want. So pull up. We'll have fun. And Taryn, another great season of live feeds with you. Thank you so much. Catch you on the next one. Maybe even for Canada.
[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_02] Who knows? What is all we got? Who knows?
[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_16] Who knows? All right. Thank you all so much for joining us here today. And I will see all of you next time.
[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_06] I see you.
