BB28 Friday Live Feed Update September 18, 2026

Big Brother 28 rolls ahead with alliances tested after a wild double eviction and a fast-forward game twist. Hosts Taran Armstrong and Pooya return for a lively recap as everyone wonders who’s in charge with only five houseguests left in the game. With β€œbutton curses” and back-to-back competition wins on everyone’s minds, the house is buzzing as plans for the next eviction get underway.

[00:00:10] [SPEAKER_03] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH You know he is the reason, you know what's happened Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again

[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_02] Hello everyone and good morning, welcome to our live feed update for September 18. I'm your host, Jaren Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 73 in the house and it was an eventful one.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_02] We had a double eviction. We had a button curse enter into the house and then they played tiny HOH on the feeds. I will tell you though, we did not figure out who won quite yet, but there's a chance that we figure it out while this podcast airs.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_02] So we'll have to wait and see on that. With me to talk through the events of yesterday though, it's Pooja. How you doing Pooja?

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_04] I'm doing good Taren. I wish we had more news, wish we had a little bit more to sink our teeth into, but as is with Big Brother, we'll take what we can get I guess.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_02] We will indeed. I will say, I think we have a pretty good idea of who the HOH is. We just don't have, we just don't know for sure. We don't know for sure. So let's rewind the clock. At the start of the day yesterday, Yash was still the HOH. Barrett, Taylor and Melody were on the block. Barrett was the primary target. Melody was the backup target.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_02] And we were waiting to see what would happen with this blockbuster. At the start of the day, Devins talked to Dee and let her know that he had slept on the decision that they had been talking about the night before, which was, are we going to take the shot at Yash? Are we going to put, you know, Drew and Barrett on the block or Barrett and somebody else on the block in the event that Barrett stays?

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02] If you watch the double eviction, you know now that none of that really ended up mattering. But for what it's worth, she said, we should probably just put up Drew and Barrett because if Drew's not up, he could save Barrett with the veto. And Devin says, even then, though, I was thinking, you know, it would be real quick, but I could be like, Yash, could you do this on TV? And then they get interrupted. And that's really the bulk of the game talk prior to the double eviction.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_04] Especially once the result that was kind of the foregone, the easy decision gets made. It really renders a lot of this moot.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. So they do get a smaller table, worth noting. It doesn't seem that much smaller, but it's smaller. And then we get to the double eviction. The thing that you've likely all seen, but if in the event that you haven't, here's how it went. The blockbuster was, in fact, not ropes. We're apparently maybe not even getting ropes. Who knows?

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_02] Either way, it was not ropes. It was, in fact, a ball rolling competition. Something that Barrett specifically was hoping for. And even Melody, when she went back there, was like, oh, shit, this is not good. And it came down to Barrett and Melody in the blockbuster. Now, we saw the preview of this. Mike Bloom siding. And Mike Bloom played.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_02] And it seemed quite difficult based on Mike Bloom, Julie, and the third guy who was playing. But Melody and Barrett did not seem to have the same amount of trouble.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. Now, Mike also did post about this on socials and said that the balls were rather heavy. They're like small cannonballs. But I also said last night, Mike Bloom got none. Melody got all five. So do we think, A, they switched the balls out and made them lighter? Or, B, Mike Bloom just kind of washed. No offense.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_02] Oof. Oof. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, it did seem easier.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_04] They made it look like it was nothing.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, it's not like they've got different weighted balls ready to go, right?

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_04] Right. I don't think they've got a prop room with different ball sizes. Like, you know what? Let's swap it out for the smaller one. I don't think that's the case. I think, I mean, this might be a fun conversation to have. But once you're in the Big Brother house for like 70 days, right? Do you just get better at these comms slash know how to deal with these comms versus someone who just pulls up to the lot to give it a try? Maybe that's what it is.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_02] Maybe. Maybe. Well, either way, Melody ends up pulling out the win here over Barrett. And that seals Barrett's fate by a vote of three to one. Barrett was evicted. Of course, Drew, also one of those votes. He did not force a tie. With Barrett gone, they go into the next HOH. And it's what the bleep. Where once again, Melody pulls out back-to-back wins.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_02] I think I saw, and this is ringing true, the first person to win Blockbuster immediately followed by HOH. Ever? I think that's what I am. I could be, it might have been this, obviously this season, it's the first time. But the real question is, is it since they introduced the Blockbuster? And I'm trying to recall a time. I could maybe see like Tucker having done it.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_02] But either way, it's quite... Oh, sorry. Drew literally just did it, didn't he? Oh, well then.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_04] It's more fun if it was Melody being the first one, though. I get it.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. So, oh, the medieval twist happened in between. That's why. Oh. Well, those are a string of comps, right?

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, that's different. Asterisk on that one.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Yeah. So, either way, Melody pulls out the What the Bleep competition. And she is looking to target Devins. She puts up Devins and Dee. But, of course, then in the veto competition, Devins pulls out a win. And Drew actually was very close behind. It was hard to see, at least from...

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_02] You know, can't ever just give us a good old wide shot of everybody. But Drew is actually close behind Devins in this veto competition. But Devins wins the third competition on a Thursday in a row that saves his life.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, what is more Devins-y than being about to be evicted or voted out three separate times in three weeks and somehow managing to pull out essentially immunity wins to save himself? You know, that's just Devins for you. So, Devins is going to pull himself off the block. The question for Melody is, who does she nominate in his place?

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_02] Is it Yash? Is it Taylor? Is it Drew? Taylor and Yash are pushing Drew. She says, I'm not going to do that, bro. The question then is, do you nominate Taylor to try to ensure that Drew votes out Dee? Or do you nominate Yash? Either still hoping that you can take out Dee or allowing Yash to essentially be targeted. Or maybe just straight up targeting Yash. Based on what we saw from Melody post-double eviction, it did seem like she didn't actually want Dee to leave.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_02] That between Dee and Yash, she preferred Yash go. Which is why she ultimately nominated Yash. She even apparently told Taylor before the eviction, like, it's Yash that's going to go. So, she knew what she was doing when she put Yash on the block. And, of course, that led to what we saw, which is that Yash was evicted 2-1 on Drew's swing vote.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_02] And just like that, we are now officially in the final five. Yep.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_04] And two survivors still in the house, still vying for the $750,000 prize. Quite incredible.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I've taken Drew's never not pass off, because who cares about that anymore? Let's move on, please. Theoretically, there's no have-nots. I don't know. There's somebody sleeping in the have-not bed right now. But they like that room, so it's possible there's no have-nots anymore. Either way, I don't care. And, look, they're also bigger. Technology. So, no HOH yet, because the feed's come back after the eviction.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_02] Yash is gone. Barrett is gone. We are now into the final five. Drew and Devins are going to talk a bit. Drew says, I hope Dee forgives me now for voting her out last week, because I would love to make final four with you and Dee and Melody, and we duke it out, you know? And, hey, us two, father and son, final two. Devin's like, yeah, let's do it. Okay.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_02] Drew's like, yeah, I'm like that guy, you know, with Tony, when he took Tony. I'm like, woo? Yeah, like I'm the woo of the season. Loyal to a fault. Devin's like, no, you're, come on. You're smarter than woo. Oh, the woo drive by.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04] In 2026, you get on TV. And let's be honest, Drew's been trying to get on TV. We know he tried to get on that Willy Wonka show. He's out here on Big Brother now. Have all your aspirations be, I'm the woo of the season is brutal. You made it all the way here to be the woo of the season? That was what you wanted?

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_02] Well, that's what he's selling to Devin's at the very least, right?

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, but if he truly is, well, do you think his intention is to sit at the end with Devin's? Or do you think he wants to sit at the end with Melody?

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02] I think he wants to sit at the end with Melody, personally.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_04] Okay. Well, if that's the case, then this is just selling, you know, anything to Devin's that he'll take. But he does.

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02] I think Devin's is his backup sitting next to a person for what it's worth. But I think it woo to me. I think if it were Devin's and Melody and Drew in the final three and Drew won the final HOH, I think he would choose Melody here.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_04] I would hope so. But do we think you can look at Papa in the face and tell Papa he has to go? I don't know. I don't know. I feel like he has a hard time disappointing Papa. So we'll see.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_00] I'm just doing what you taught me, Dad. Dad, you showed me the way with Rome and Kamu.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_02] Devin's says, well, listen, if we get out Taylor this week, a crossover is guaranteed final two. And with the jury, we could also guarantee a crossover wins, which to me is like, okay, so you want to go to final two with Taylor? Or Melody?

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, you are kind of the blurred lines there are. Well, if one of us sits at the end with Melody, then that's a win. Just so you know.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02] Drew says, listen, Devin's, I hope you'll take me to final two. I think you underestimate how the jury perceives me as like the vet's little pet, like does everything you guys want me to do. And he talks about how, which again, I think is like this idea of like trying to sell himself as the perception that I do think he, I mean, I think this is honest in the sense that like people do see Drew that way in the jury right now.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02] I think especially Yash will go in being like, once again, baby boy Drew. And I think Barrett will probably feel somewhat similarly. And, you know, maybe Angela's like, oh, yay, good Drew. But that doesn't mean that he's going to get Angela's vote certainly over Yvette. So, you know, obviously, I mean, it would be ridiculous for Drew to be aware of this perception.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_02] And also meaning, like mean to genuinely take Devin's to the final two at this point. But who knows? We'll see. Drew also talks about he's like, oh, yeah. And did you see how Taylor was telling me to hurry up during the veto ceremony when this was happening? Drew. Get popping. Oh, this is so annoying. And then Devin's like, oh, no, that was Melody. He's like, oh, well, that's funny.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, selective outrage gets under my skin, Taryn. If you mad, stay mad. Don't just switch up because the person switched up. Please. Hmm.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_02] So Taylor talks to Melody and she's pretty upset with Melody's choice. Obviously, she's like, you should have been me. You should have put me up on the block. And Melody is like, I like I get it. But I really just wanted to make sure that one of the boys left. Like if I had put you up, Drew might have voted you out. And at the end of the day, like, you know, D has mentioned it's it's a boys club in here. She wants the girls to stick around.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02] I think, you know, Devin's was my target, but he won the veto. And so I had to I had to do what I had to do. And Taylor's like, I get it. I'm not mad. And Melody's like, I mean, and Yash was the biggest threat in the game. Taylor says, I understand. I'm just being emotional. It's a good game move. I just feel like the icons are going to win this season. It's like, yeah, there was another opportunity also to take an icon out. And that wasn't over the best competitor in the house.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02] That was over Angela.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_04] But they got rid of an icon anyway, Taryn. Let's be let's be technical here. Technically, Angela was also an icon.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02] There was also another opportunity earlier in the season when Lala was HOH and he got Chuck instead. It was Chuck time.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_04] Chuck's time to go. Don't trust Chuck. Nope, never. I can't believe that's his last words in the Big Brother house, by the way. Don't trust Chuck. He could have had the record. He could have had the record for fastest exit if he did not stop to do that.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_02] But yeah, what are you going to do? You either have a good final line or you get out fast enough. Yeah. Who is the fastest, by the way? Did we figure that out?

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_04] You know, it's funny. Ethan animal literally did a video on this and I've watched the entire thing. I don't remember what the final result was. Oh, it was Ollie. It was all in BB 10.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. Ollie. Well, he did get, you know, he got got by Dan. So he did get got by Dan. You want to get out of there quick. All right. So Dee talks to the cameras. And she is pumped. She's pumped up.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_01] She's like, they can't get rid of me. They can't get rid of me. How in the world were both me and Devin's on the block and we both survived? They don't understand. If I make it to the end of this game, I will win this thing. Oh my God. The little weasel saved my life. Why did you do that? Why did you do that? I love him.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_02] But why did you do that? Oh, I'm so proud of Melody. She was trying to make a big move, but she missed her shot. Oh, shout out Devin's. That's my ride or die. I'm going to the end with him. Well, I'll cut him at the final three, but I'm going to the final three with him. Taryn. She says the game plan moving forward is figuring out who's taking who at final three. She says right now, I think Melody would choose me over Devin's. Taylor could go either way. Drew.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_02] I don't know what he would do, which is scary. So my ideal final three is me, Melody, Devin's. If I win, I cut Devin's. If Melody wins, she cut Devin's. Not bad. Drew and Devin's, they're too close. I know Drew just saved my life, but we've got to figure this out, figure that one out. So she says, I'm going to talk to Melody about the boys club thing and move forward with this plan.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_04] I have a couple of questions for you here. First, I would like to know your personal ranking of who you would like to see win this season. One through five of everyone left.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_02] This has genuinely been such a hard question for me. For so much of the season, because I feel like it's been so even that it's hard to have a single rooting interest. I find myself just like swaying with the wind because I just don't have like a strong attachment in any which direction. Obviously, D has recently impressed me.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02] I'm personally somebody that is more impressed with how D has managed to stay by surviving the block. Same. More so than the way that Devin's has been able to stay by winning the comps in a clutch way. And that's just a personal preference. I am still impressed by Devin's clutch wins, but I'm more impressed by how D has managed to do it. But I continue to get pissed off when people act like Taylor's done nothing. So I would be like inwardly very pleased if she won and they got really, really mad.

[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02] And, you know, for what it's worth, I think that Drew has played really, really hard all season. I would not be like super upset about a Drew win. I think that especially if he did eventually like it seems like he's learned his lesson. If Drew does take take out Devin's go with to go to the end with Melody, I think that would be a deserving win.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_02] Um, and if Melody somehow clutches out more competition, somehow manages to win over a jury, I think that would be pretty impressive. So it's like, like if any of them win, I can't really fault any of the wins. Um, I think as of right now, Devin's would probably be the most as like a big brother fan, uh, of like, uh, like the social game. Uh, Devin's I think would be the most like he did it cause he won comps.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, unless he manages to pull something else off, but you know, it's, it's Devin's. I'm not gonna be mad that Devin's won, you know?

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. I think we're in a very unique spot where, like you said, anyone in the final five winning this season, I'm not particularly mad at. I'm very okay with it. Um, it would be at this point though, I will say given that they've made it here and I rec, I fully recognize that. I know you recognize that the icons had a lot of safety out the gate. They were loaded with rates to stay in the game that bribe should not have worked the way it did. It still did. But one of the survivors winning is probably my top choice.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_04] Um, and I would also rather D over Devin's, but if Devin's wins, I'm also happy with that. Um, which is wild that we've gotten all the way here. And again, they're still in this game. They still got, they're still in the running. Um, but after D survived being on the block twice now, I just, I cannot, you know, as a fan cannot want anything more than for, and D being the first. The first person to win both shows is kind of incredible. That would be a phenomenal, that's, that's history right there. I would love to be witnessing history. So, yeah.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_02] And, uh, and also like, so, so let's talk about this final three setup, right? Like D is looking to, to take Devin's to final three, ideally with Melody. I do agree that, that this final three would go the way she thinks in that Melody would take her. She would cut Devin's and take Melody. I do think she would beat Melody in a final two. I think that's very, very likely.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_02] Um, I think that she would have Devin's and Angela, uh, locked in. Um, I think that she would have Yash as we sort of just saw. And I think that she would have Taylor. And I think that she would have Lala. I think it would be five to maybe two Barrett and Drew.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_02] Um, the problem with this plan is number one, it requires either you or Melody beating Devin's. Um, and that's not a guarantee, uh, in the final three, I mean, uh, final three HOH. I do think that there's a, that like, there's a chance D could beat Devin's in part one, but is Melody beating Devin's in part two? Right.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_02] Is D beating Devin's in part two? I think Devin's is winning part two and Devin's is the best sort of studied up of the three of them. I would say like Devin's is like, granted Melody's been good at the quiz comps, but those have been like, you know, you immediately get a thing. And then Melody like answers. It hasn't been like a study comp yet.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_02] Maybe Melody beats Devin's in part three, the final three HOH because she's good at quiz comps. But does she get to part three is a, is a tough question. So number one, you have to beat Devin's in the final three HOH and he's probably the favorite to win it. Number two, if Devin's does win, not only does he probably beat D in the final two, but he, if Melody's the other option, is he even taking D to the final two at that point?

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, like there's some, there's some danger there, but then you look and it's like, you know, what's, what is the other option? If you remove Devin's from the equation, you put anybody else there drew that's kind of worse, right? Cause now Melody will take true and drew will take melody. Uh, and you have to win. Um, if it's, uh, if it's Taylor, melody is going to take Taylor and Taylor is going to take melody. And again, you have to win.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_02] And maybe your odds of winning are better. Uh, so you can, you can bank on that maybe, but it's a quiz comp like D's chances of winning the final three HOH are actually not that great. Um, and so, you know, I, you know, you, yeah, you could say maybe take melody out of the equation, maybe drew and Taylor. I still think true takes Taylor. And I think Taylor takes true.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, I think that, you know, I just, I think the only person, the only people that are willing to take D would take her over Devin's. So Devin's being there is important for somebody to take her. Uh, but then like, it's the, the only person who's like really going to have a great chance of getting to part three and maybe winning is drew. Of course. Um, but drew's like the one person that would take Devin's over her if it were the three of them.

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_02] So I, I, I don't think it's a perfect solution, but, uh, I do think that, uh, that this is probably a pretty decent final three option for her. The key is keeping melody around, uh, because, you know, coming into the final five, we talked about this last night. Taylor should be safe because it doesn't really make sense to take Taylor out.

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_02] She's recently been the weakest in competitions and she's not attached to anybody else. She's not in a pair anymore. Um, so it should be one of drew or melody or one of D or Devin's. Uh, so how do you, let's say drew wins that veto. How do you prevent melody from leaving? Um, that could be, could be tricky or maybe not depending on how it plays out. Right. Yeah.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_04] It's, it's a very fun exercise to do this season, which I'm very happy about. Usually sometimes the final five, you don't have this mind game to play. Cause I want to ask you this now, cause I do think D beats drew. I think D beats melody. If we remove melody from the equation of the three, it's now it's D devins and Taylor at the end. What does a D and Taylor final two look like?

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_02] We've been talking about that. I think it's tricky for D. I think that, um, I think that Yash, Lala, Barrett and melody are a dangerous group of four people in that jury house for D. Now that said, I do think that D is looking better now than she did last week when we were talking about this.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02] I think that melody in particular is maybe a little more likely to vote D than she was before, especially now if they're like relationship is starting to develop over the course of this week. Um, and, uh, and honestly, even Barrett, I think is a little risky there. Uh, I think that D did a decent job of recovering the repairing the relationship with, with Barrett and the fact that she just survived on the block again.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02] I think Barrett will probably think about like, maybe D really does deserve this. Um, and not, we shouldn't neglect the fact that when Barrett, uh, a couple of weeks ago was talking to the cameras about who he might vote for.

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_02] He was mentioning things like Zingbot and BB comics, uh, when it came to Taylor, like, Oh, if BB comics and Zingbot are to believe to be believed, Taylor wasn't really doing much throughout the season.

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_02] Um, which didn't quite match his own perception, uh, when he's been like working with Taylor, but, uh, especially for like the early portion of the game could easily sort of, uh, influence the way that he saw that comparing it to D in particular, who's been such an active player. You know, I think it's a little bit more of a, uh, it would lean a little more D than it did last week is, is kind of the point here.

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_04] Toss up would be fun on finale night. That would actually be, I wouldn't be mad at that just to see how it plays out. I also think that, um, cause I do think D is actively doing a good job right now with sending people, like people leaving with a good taste in their mouth for D. I think that's great. Um, because if this fix up wasn't happening in the last week, I'd be like, well, Devin should leave sooner. So Devin's can advocate for her in the jury. I no longer feel like that needs to necessarily happen.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_04] Cause I do feel like D is holding her own with a lot of the feelings people are having of her leaving. But yeah, to go back to where we, this all started, I do think the D melody, I think she's identified her ideal final three. I think that is the right final three for her given all the circumstances.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you know, it's again, it's like, maybe it would be better to try to nail down melody and Taylor and just bank on winning it. Um, but, but it's like, but then you're competing probably against melody in a quiz for all the marbles. Uh, and it's like, do you want that? Right. Uh, like,

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02] is that worse than competing against Devin's for all the marbles? Maybe I, you know, she melody has proven herself to be stronger at quizzes so far. So maybe it is worse. Maybe it is better to compete against Devin's, but then to your point, you don't have Devin's in the jury, uh, helping you out. Um, but, but you are against melody and, and your chances against melody are probably pretty good. Uh, so, um, so yeah,

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_02] but I think for what it's worth for everybody else in the house, Devin's should be their primary target. Uh, like a thousand percent Devin's is the front runner here. If Devin's makes it to final two, he's winning and he's clearly the biggest competitor left. Uh, so, uh, they should be taking a shot at Devin's at any, any chance that they get. Um, so, uh, detox to Devin's, um, she says she can't believe drew kept her.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02] Devin says he thinks that drew believes that they'll take him to the final three. That's why. Um, and I do think that drew has done some excellent work on, uh, on Devin's. Oh boy. Interesting. Okay. I think we just found out who won HOH. Um, yeah, uh, I think so. I think the camera, I think the camera operator is giving us a bit of a hint, which is, uh, you know, we'll, we'll get there quite soon. Um,

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_02] so, uh, so Devin says that, uh, he believes that drew will take, uh, believes that drew thinks that they'll take him to the final three. Uh, and so D then asks, like, what do we do if we win HOH? Is there a world where we put up Taylor and drew, uh, is cause he's, he is the better competitor. And he goes, Oh, you are evil. Uh, and he says, Oh, I definitely think we break up the duo, whether it's get it, whether it's getting melody out or getting drew out. Taylor is the worst competitor. We shouldn't get out Taylor,

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_02] which obviously is not what D was just saying to herself. In fact, it kind of feels like Devin's is pointing more in the direction of, uh, of melody, which obviously I think Devin's kind of believes that drew will take him to the final two, at least over D. So Devin's I think is of the mindset. He hasn't talked to the cameras about this, but I do think Devin's might be of the mindset that it would be a good idea

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_02] to go to final three with D and drew because he beats both of them. And, uh, and drew takes him over D. Um, and he thinks probably the D might take him over drew. Um, but either way it puts Devin's in a good position there. And I don't hate that for Devin's though. I do think it's probably the worst configuration for Devin's to, to win that final three, HOH, uh, because I can see D beating him in part one drew beating him in part two,

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_02] which would not be good for Devin's. Uh, so that is a bit tricky.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, that would be a little bit tough, but also it's hard to bet against Devin's now for me, because the man just clearly has the clutch gene. Um, we've talked about, I remember this, Taryn eight seasons ago, you and I talked about on the live feeds update, we were talking about, uh, Casey and whether or not Casey had killer instinct to me, that conversation is different, but Devin's to me has the clutch gene. The man is winning when everything is on the line, it's do or die.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_04] He just somehow gets it. Maybe I've bought into the plot armor. I'm not sure. Uh, that being said, um, I just, I, even in that three combination, I'd be willing to, to part way with some dollars to bet on them. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like I could see that. I just, unfortunately for him, if it shakes out with either the other two winning, their game winning move is to get rid of Devin's for D or Papa for Drew. So like, either way, he should still be the third one at a third place in that spot.

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, to be fair, Devin does have the clutch gene. But when push came to shove at the very last moment, he lost it in, uh, edge of extinction.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_01] Right.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02] And it's looking like he might be in that do or die situation again here on big brother. So we'll see. Um, we will see feeds went down while they were down. They were introduced to a button or a series of buttons at the very least. Um, and, uh, uh, they were told first person to hit the button unleashes the Pharaoh's curse and gets $10,000. Uh, I'm pretty sure all this was,

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_02] was just an excuse to do what they were going to do anyway, which is a sped up week. Uh, in three days, somebody will be evicted, uh, which means, um, that's, that's going to happen a lot, like on Sunday or whatever. Um, which, you know, it's, it's exactly what they did last year. It's just a sped up week because it's the final five and we're, we're prepping for finale. Um, and, uh, and this was hosted by Vince. Um, I don't know how one hosts, uh, a button pressing, uh,

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02] extravaganza, but, um, but, uh, but that's very fun. And, um, and so other than that, I don't think that there was much of a curse. I think it was literally just like, we're going to give you one of you $10,000 and, uh, uh, and what we were going to do. Yeah. Um, and so, uh, most of them suspect the Devins press the button, but Devins is denying it. Uh, however, alone with a button,

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_02] he gives it a good old kiss and he says, kids ain't cheap. Kids ain't cheap. So Devins press the button. He got, he got 10 K free money.

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_04] Why not? At this point,

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_02] why was the bride 5k? And this was 10 K. Can we just say it? Why? Yeah. Why is Devins getting double what Yash got for pressing a button?

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_04] And mind you, Yash got 5k and it came in a hefty. I was about to cuss price. It came in a big, big invoice with it, which was you can't put up the icons. Uh, so I think that this should have been 5k. The bribe should have been 10 K. That would have made way more sense. Although Yasha also took the 5k. So yeah.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, uh, D and melody do have their conversation. Melody says she did basically nominate Yash because she wanted D to stay. Girls should stick together. D agrees. Drew and Devins are going to take each other to the end. Melody says, hell no. Um, and so they start this, this thing. I, D is going to develop melody as her final two. Uh, I think over the course of the next less than two weeks, um, if she can, uh, but again, we'll talk through, uh,

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_02] situations for the week very shortly. Um, because I do think we know who the HOH is at this point. D also talks to Taylor. Taylor says she is happy that D is there. Um, and this is when Taylor says that melody told her before the eviction that Yash was leaving. So her vote for Yash was purely a sympathy vote. Uh, and she says that initially melody says she wanted the icons gone, but as soon as Devins came off the block, she changed her mind. Um, so again, this pretty heavily implies that melody is telling the truth when she says that

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02] her target actually did shift from Devins to Yash and was never really be. Um, drew talks to melody as well. She says she can't believe she just won two things back to back. Drew says at this rate, I'm going to lose to you in the final two, but I'm still choosing you. And she says me too, uh, to him. And, uh, and she does it quite earnestly. I will say like she has a very earnest look on her face when she says, of course she can make a final two with D all she wants, but should she actually go to the final two with D over drew? Probably not.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_02] Right. Um, she says we'd be the most comical final two of all time. Uh, he asks her who she thinks should go this week. And she says, Devins, he says, well, what about D or Taylor? You know? Cause listen, I think D I could see D working with Taylor, but Devins will not work with Taylor. So if we take, take out like D, uh, like that could be best case scenario. Um,

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_02] and then the feeds went down again and then they came back up and they were playing tiny HOH stacking some things. Um, and, uh, and this was very fun. This is very cool. Um, it's not like the most exhilarating competition to watch on the feeds, but any competition on the feeds is very fun. I, I like,

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_02] I don't know. I don't know what we did. Like, I don't know. Like, uh, I don't know what, I don't know why we're getting this. It's, it almost makes me feel skeptical. Like what's going on, you know, like, uh, like all of a sudden somebody is being real nice and you're like, wait a minute, hold on. What's, what did you do?

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. Why, what's your, what's the, what's the situation here? Why, what's the ulterior motive? Yeah. Like, why are you giving us this? Cause listen, ultimately I'm very happy with this season. We've gotten off. We've gotten feeds back sooner than we've expected. We've gotten to see some comps. I'm always here for that. However, Taryn, would I be me? And would you be you? If we didn't complain a little bit, cause I would like to complain a little bit, if that's all right.

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_02] Well, they did cut the feeds. Before we could see who won. So like, ultimately we just saw people stacking things and them falling over and over. And with no conclusion,

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_04] the balls are blue because why are we not getting results? Why, why, why? That's the line. Everything we've said this season. That's the line. Taryn, did I just cross it? Was that the one that was the one? Why are we doing this? Just give me the result. If you're, if I'm waking up in bed, watching these feeds, just tell me who won. Also, let me have my coffee and have it. Let me not stare into people's souls while they're sleeping, hoping for something. Give me that.

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. I'm with you. I'm with you. It is. It's, it's, it's pretty annoying that they cut the feeds before the conclusion of this competition, especially because it's not like we're not going to find out. So, you know, why not just let us see, you know, especially this competition, because like, it's very annoying when it happens during endurance competitions. Uh, but at least with endurance competitions,

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_02] it's a linear progression competition. You like what you saw mattered. Right. Well, we saw none of it mattered other than just seeing who was good at it. Right. You know, well, like eliminated.

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_04] No, they had a bit of a false start also where they did cut the feeds at one point when Devin's was in the lead. These were down for a little bit. They came back. Devin's stack was on the ground again. Like he was starting from scratch. So it really is one of those competitions where within a five minute span, the winner can change immediately. Um, which is why when they do go down while we're in the midst of it, we don't know who got it. Yeah.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, what I will say is the feeds were up for around an hour. Uh, and in that hour, Devin's was consistently leagues ahead of the other three. Um, like at any given moment, Devin's would, would have a higher stack. Even after his stack dropped, he would quickly get it back to higher than anybody else had it. Um, D was stuck at a couple of levels up.

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor was stuck pretty, uh, a couple levels up. Drew would sometimes get it a bit higher, but Devin's was like consistently just at a higher up level toward the end. Before the feeds cut, uh, Devin's was on the top row. He kept getting the far row wrong and it kept falling off. And then he would use his other hand to build it back up, try to do the last level again. It would fall. He'd use the other hand. It would fall. And then when he finally managed to get it on,

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_02] and then he got the next one on and he had like two or three pieces left. That's when the feeds cut. So already we had a good idea that Devin's probably won this competition. Uh, and, and you kind of got that sense from watching 10 minutes of it, uh, because nobody else even really got that close. Um, but the feeds went down. They stayed down for hours and hours and hours. They finally came up shortly before this update started. They've been in bed sleeping since the update started.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_02] They are still in bed sleeping. However, you might've noticed that during the update, I was like, Oh, I think we just got confirmation of who won the HOH. That's because the feeds cut over to the memory wall and zoomed right on in on Devin's face. And then just like two minutes ago, they also zoomed in on Devin's sleeping in the have not room. Um, so, uh,

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02] I think all of this evidence speaks pretty heavily toward Devin's having won this HOH. It is not confirmed at this time, but I think we can run right now with the assumption that Devin's is the current HOH.

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_04] I think so. All the points are leading to that. Taryn, can you remind me Julie's words last night over what the scheduling looks like this week with this curse and everything? What, what's the timeline we're on right now? What's about to happen today? What is the next eviction?

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_02] You think I listened to Julie?

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_04] Well, you did the recap last night. I assumed you kept it in mind. Um, because I don't understand. And obviously sometimes Skippy do be messing with us, but I don't understand why the feeds were down that long. If they don't want us to see the result and then the feeds come down to whoever won, that's one thing. Do you think other stuff happened while the feeds were down? Or do you think they just kind of like got to lounge about?

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_02] I think, I think that when the feeds cut before the like wall finishes, they'll usually keep them down until like everything's all settled. And so I think probably what happened was feeds went down at 430 in the morning. Devin's one at 440 in the morning. And, uh, and like they, they've got it all settled. And then they all just immediately went to bed. And before they even turned the feeds back on, they were already like in bed. And it was like,

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_02] all right, whatever. We'll just, we'll just keep them off. Okay. Or maybe the, the, you know, honestly, like the people, like there probably was like one person there. It was like, I'm so tired. I don't feel like monitoring. I'm just going to leave them off and wait for the morning shift to come up.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. I'm clocking out. So y'all deal with it. Okay. So then if Devin's one, and I think at this point, I'd be willing to put it at like 93% Devin's is our HOH. Um, it's the final five. So first of all, he can't compete in final four kind of tough, but, um, it gets interesting because would Devin's put up. Drew and melody, because if he leaves one of them off the block, Taryn, if he leaves one of them off the block and they win the veto,

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_04] guess who's going on the block next to Taylor. Yes.

[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_02] Uh, famously final five, uh, leaves open the possibility, uh, which is funny because it was done by drew and Diane in season five, uh, of the one person or one of the people off the block, winning the veto, using it and forcing the other person on. And this is how Karen was evicted in season five. Um, so yes, if Devin's were to put melody and Taylor drew wins, the veto uses it on melody.

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_02] It would force D on the block. And then drew and melody could vote D out. So I don't think that's what, what Devin would do. I think Devin would put up drew and melody, uh, and hope that Taylor does not win the veto. And, uh, and then what would likely happen is D would push for drew to go. Taylor would probably agree. Drew D and Taylor could both vote out drew over melody. Devin's can't really do much about it.

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_02] if, even if melody came off the block and Taylor went on D and melody, uh, uh, actually it would be, then be, um, melody would vote to keep true probably. And then D would vote to potentially evict a troop. Devin's might evict drew there, you know, like he said that they shouldn't evict Taylor and they should break up the duo. So I think Devin's probably would go along with it. Um,

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_02] if it ended up being, uh, like drew versus, uh, Taylor, I think that's even easier. So like basically D has a lot of power to potentially evict drew. Um, and, but Devin's does have the tiebreaker power. If melody's off the block, if Taylor wins it, she can force D on the block. Uh, but you know, and, and that, and that could be it, right?

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_02] Like if Taylor wins veto takes down melody, then Taylor and melody could evict D overdrew and probably would. Um, so, uh, you know, it's, it's definitely not a gimme that said, Devin's now can't compete in final four. HOH, which means Devin's will always be vulnerable to the final four veto,

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_02] which means if D does survive this week, she's probably safe at final four because only drew, I think would evict D over Devin's at final four. Now, granted that's a dangerous person to have to, to evict you at final four. Um, but, uh, so it's not quite like, I, I, I refer to this often as the, uh, the Nicole Franzel spot, uh, where in big brother 18,

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_02] when, uh, when Corey won the final five HOH, Nicole was guaranteed final three because the second he won, uh, well, the second that she didn't get forced on the block on his HOH, uh, because Corey would always be evicted over her at final four always. And he could not be immune at final four unless he was the one making the decision and he would never evict Nicole. Uh,

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_02] so he is not quite in that position because drew may evict D over Devin's and, uh, and that would, would still be her end, but it does leave Devin's quite vulnerable here at the final four. Regardless, uh, if melody or Taylor or maybe even D were to win is so if drew leaves, it leaves. So, okay. So ultimately I think what I'm saying here is if drew is evicted this week, D is probably guaranteed final three. Um,

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_02] if drew stays and one of melody or Taylor goes that equation changes. Um, so then the final thing here is let's say drew wins the veto, takes himself off the block. Taylor is the replacement. Devins will likely want Taylor to stay and melody to go. Drew will want melody to stay and Taylor to go. And D has the power to choose probably,

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_02] vote with drew and keep melody or go with what devins would likely want and, uh, and, and keep Taylor. Um, and according to her plan, the plan was, would be to keep melody, uh, despite what devins might want because she wants that final three of melody and devins. And so that could also be a whole thing. And she could theoretically also use that situation to be like, Hey, drew,

[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_02] I'm going to go with you and melody on this. Devins wants melody gone, but I'm going to be with you on this. And then maybe she can get enough goodwill for drew from drew to keep her around at final four over devins. Um, so either way, there's a lot going on here. Uh, a lot of people in chat said, no, no, devins is definitely going to put up Taylor. I don't think there's a world in hell where D allows devins to put up Taylor,

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_02] knowing that drew could potentially win the veto and force her on the block. Unless she doesn't see it. Cause she's not exactly a big brother scholar. She might not like recognize it. I mean, you don't have to know the history to know the danger. You can just logic it out, but, uh, obviously knowing the history helps you get there quicker.

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. Um, okay. So then can we talk about the 7%, 93% is devins 7% to me. The next person most likely is Taylor. Cause Taylor was doing decently as well. I want to run a specific scenario by you to see what you think would happen. Taylor is the HOH. D and devins are nominated. D uses the veto comes off the block. Oh, drew would go up. Nevermind. In my head, I was like, would drew and D vote out? Like how does,

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_04] does devin leave in that spot? But that changes everything. Nevermind. Um, yeah. So Taylor puts that D and devins D wins the veto. I guess if devins wins the veto, drew goes up. Does D leave in that spot or does drew leave in that spot?

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_02] Depends on what Taylor wants between drew and devins or drew and D. Um, and I would imagine it's D. Cause Taylor would decide Taylor would break a tie. Um, yeah, but I mean, she kept D before she does not love drew. So, um, it could definitely be true, but who knows? We'll see.

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_02] We will see. Uh, all right. Anything else to talk about? I'm sure we'll have more, uh, thoughts tomorrow. I'll be back tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern, of course, to update you on everything that happens today on the big brother, 28 live feeds, including confirmation of who the HOH is, what the plans for the week are so on and so forth. This week should be moving pretty quickly. Again, there's going to be an eviction in now roughly two days. Uh, so stay tuned for that, but anything else you wanted to bring up? Yeah.

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_04] No, I mean, honestly, I feel like we just got blood out of a stone. Uh, the fact that we've been able to talk about this for near an hour. Uh, no, I think everything is fine, uh, that we can leave it there. Um, I will say though, if the feeds are down, obviously, Taryn, we just got some breaking news earlier about the traders. So if you are interested in finding out or talking about who was on the traders, y'all stay tuned after this. We'll be live. I'll be talking about the cast. Um, two big brother faces there.

[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_04] Uh, might as well let y'all know if you're here in the live feed update, Taryn, our very good friend, Taylor, on the season alongside Jag on the season representing big brothers. Hot damn.

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_02] Taylor. Hale is on the traders. That's what the streets are saying. Uh, very excited, very excited. Um, I, I just know she's going to be crushing looks. She's going to be making friends and, uh, you know, things historically have not gone well for big brother players on the traders. Uh, it has not been a good show for the big brothers. So, uh,

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_02] we'll see if Taylor is able to break that curse here on, uh, on, uh, what, this will what be trader season. And I, six,

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_04] six, technically because the new blood season is canonically season five now. So, yeah, yeah, we'll see. Yeah. Big brother players historically not had a great track record in the U S on the traders. So we'll see if, uh, Taylor can reverse the curse or we'll see if Jack will be the first person ever to get murdered and then come back to life and then make it to the end game. Who knows? Who knows what could happen?

[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_02] I mean, Jack has the capability of having one big brother, amazing race and traders. Uh, he would, I mean, that's not the trifecta anyone's ever talked about before, but, uh, you know, it would be a, uh, and the same, the same breath. The D is about to potentially win. Exactly. Survivor. Um,

[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_04] yeah. We'll see. D and Jack going band for band on reality TV show wins would be very funny to keep an eye out for if, uh, and when or he went,

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_02] yes. Uh, well, I am very excited. Uh, hopefully things go well for, uh, for Taylor. Of course, tonight will be unlocked. Big brother unlocked where Rob will be there. Or I assume sans Taylor. I would guess so. Um, and, uh, so that'll be very fun. If you want to see my, uh, you know, uh, I wouldn't call it coverage, but my, uh, my watching of the traders and analysis of the traders, I do watch it over on my Patreon.

[00:55:12] [SPEAKER_02] I'll be watching a new blood, uh, soon. Um, as if it, you know, it aired last night and it was a good time. Uh, there you go. Yeah. We'll have some fun with it. Uh, so check out my Patreon. If you want to see that, uh, make sure you stay tuned for, uh, we has podcast very shortly after this update for the full analysis on the celebrity cast. Uh, and, uh, and then yes, I'll also be streaming tonight for unlocked. We'll have a podcast after unlocked. Felicia will be there. Uh,

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_02] so stay tuned for that. And Rob is going to be on the show. So that's going to be a whole thing. And we're going to get footage from the double eviction, I assume. So that's going to be a whole fun, uh, bout.

[00:55:50] Um,

[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_02] and, uh, and then tomorrow morning, we'll have a lot more analysis on who the actual HOH is, what the plans are, all of it. So stay tuned, stay tuned. Uh, what else?

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_04] Um, I am talking traders, new blood, obviously, and any other English speaking traders at the moment. Uh, but the first episode recap and my exit interview with the first person murdered are already out on the, on the page. So if you're interested, we've caught up this morning, you've got that to look forward to. I'll be live later tonight at 10 PM Eastern on twitch, twitch.tv slash Pooja to talk, whatever we get from big brother today, and probably talk more about this traders cast now that it's dropped. Um, I'm excited, Taryn, I'm busy, but I'm blessed. I can't complain.

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_02] Yes. All right. Well, thank you all so much for joining us here today. And I will see all of you next time.
