BB28 Friday Live Feed Update September 11, 2026

Big Brother 28 reaches a breaking point as alliances get messy after another eviction shakes the house. In this Recap episode, host Taran Armstrong is joined by guest Matt, as they sort through dramatic flips, shaky deals, and who’s actually loyal heading into the double eviction.

[00:00:10] and Aaron Armstrong talk big brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOH. You know he is the reason, you know what's happened. Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again.

[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for September. September 11, I'm your host Aaron Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The big brother 28 live feeds. It was day 66 in the house and we had an eviction, big eviction and we had an HOH competition.

[00:01:11] Which led to an interesting HOH results and we're gonna talk through it all with me to talk through it all. Matt, how you doing Matt? I'm good. Not usually the words you say on a Friday. My apologies to the audience that I'm not Puya. Can't do much about that but hopefully he is enjoying his time in Hawaii right now and I'm happy to be here. Because while you know Thursday's feeds are you know up and up and down obviously the we'll talk about the feeds came back later than normal.

[00:01:40] But I mean the eviction was pretty crazy and the fallout from that and next HOH there's I feel like still a lot to talk about today. There is there is a lot to talk about today especially as we talk through the coming week. But before we get to that of course Barrett was the HOH. He had nominated Angela D and Devins. D or Devins should have been guaranteed. I mean no matter what right?

[00:02:09] No matter what one of the two survivors has to unsurvive. No matter what. No matter what. However, D had managed to talk Yash and Taylor into keeping her over Angela. Now, Devins also made an attempt but Yash and Taylor had agreed they would not keep Devins after briefly considering it.

[00:02:33] One of the things they had considered was telling Devins that if he made a speech against Drew in his eviction speech then maybe they would keep him because it would mean he burned his relationship with Drew. Which wouldn't have worked but it was an idea that they had. They ultimately said no never mind in the first place. They had always intended to lie to Devins and pretend like they were going to keep him if he didn't win the blockbuster just in case he did win the blockbuster. So that's still in play.

[00:03:00] There's also the fact that like just at any moment they could theoretically change their minds because it's pretty wild decision. And also Barrett intended to talk to D this day. And that was one of her key pitches that she hadn't talked to Barrett. And if they got a sense that she might be able to recover with Barrett, that could also introduce some doubt into their minds. So those were the things I was looking out for in the day.

[00:03:25] But we started the day with Drew and sorry not with Drew, with D and I wrote Drew. Come on, come on. Drew and Angela don't talk like that. Come on. And Angela. D was actually sorry. No, this wasn't. Sorry, I was right. I shouldn't have doubted my notes. It was Drew and Angela. Oh, I have a D and Angela conversation first up. So I thought you were getting to the right place.

[00:03:52] The Drew and Angela conversation is the one I wanted to start with where he is talking about how he's still not targeting any of the icons. Whichever two of them stay, he's still not targeting them. And Angela's like, seriously? He's like, fuck yeah. She's like, well, that's amazing. He's like, listen, you can believe it or not. She's like, oh, I do. I mean, I believe everything you tell me. Except for that fight with Barrett. Because he told me, he told me you weren't really fighting.

[00:04:21] She's like, what happened? She's like, he told me you weren't really fighting. Now, Drew, at this point, I think just like makes a face at her. He doesn't really like audibly make a sound, but we can't see his face. But something about his face seems to indicate that he's agreeing to this. I don't know if he understands what he's agreeing to. This is Angela saying that she thinks that the post-veto draw fight was fake, which it wasn't.

[00:04:48] But whatever face he makes, she goes, why'd you do it then? And he says, because I wanted you guys to stay. And they don't trust me at all. I've been working with you guys since the beginning. I would not have put you guys up this week. So, I don't know. This is a funny interaction. I didn't understand exactly what Drew thought she was saying. But he should have recognized that they thought he was faking his fight with Barrett based on it. Devin ends up joining the conversation.

[00:05:16] Angela says, you know you're not going to put up Barrett or Melody, though. And he says, oh, I would. Probably the one you'd be happier to see me do. Indicating that he would put up Barrett if he won HOH. This seems to be his move. He's going to pull it later on D. I'm sure mentioned it at some point. Just like, you know that I actually wouldn't come after you. Like, come on. And so, so much of this season, of course, has been Angela and D feeling sketched out by Drew at so many times where they shouldn't have actually been sketched out by Drew.

[00:05:46] But like, there are moments like this where it does feel like the sketchiness plays in a little bit. But it's such like a fine line with Drew because sometimes he means it, sometimes he doesn't. So, in this instance, it's like, who could even say if he means it or not? Because he's telling D all of these promises and whatnot and then later still going to vote to evictor. And granted, there's some stuff that comes up along the way. Her speech that maybe had an influence on that.

[00:06:07] But I'm like, the more the season goes on, like, maybe not all in on like the D and Angela were out of their minds for not trusting Drew because he does come across sketchy a lot. It depends. I mean, 66 days is a long enough time to get a read on someone, in my opinion. But like, even in this conversation, like, I agree with you. But even in this conversation, it's just like, I don't know if Drew is telling the truth or not. What would Drew have done on this next HOH if he wanted?

[00:06:36] I think he wants Yash out. I mean, I know he does. But is that enough to prioritize? Is that more important to him than getting the icons? Probably. I don't know. I just think he says the right thing to the right people at every turn to, like, get them to think he's with them. But it's not always the case. Well, I think the problem is that everyone does that same thing.

[00:06:59] It's just that the way that Drew does it makes you feel like D will promise something to somebody and mean it and then change your mind. Drew will promise something to somebody and you're not sure whether he means it. It's the same thing, but it feels different. You know what I mean? It does feel different. Drew talks to Devin's as well. Drew says, it pisses me off that some people are here.

[00:07:28] They've been wrong and out of the loop the entire time. To which I was like, Drew. Glass houses. It's pretty sure, pretty sure, Drew, you've been one of the most out of the loop and wrong people the entire time, considering your loyalty to the icons who have mistrusted you the entire game.

[00:07:49] It's also funny to like, like I was I was listening to that earlier in the day and then you like go back to it at the end of the day after the vote goes the way that the vote goes. And it's like, who's wrong and out of the loop literally hours after you made that statement, sir? And then Drew does something that I think was very funny. He says to Devin's. Would you put me up if it were a double? And it's so abrupt that Devin's is completely caught off guard.

[00:08:20] Devin's I've said before, not the best liar, in my opinion. Devin's reaction is. I mean, I'd be worried you use the veto on Barrett or Melody. He said I wouldn't. Well, then it would just be those two. Regardless, Drew's not putting Devin's up.

[00:08:44] So like Devin's has the room to make verbal mistakes like this, at least for right now. Like if Drew came into power this week, I think Devin's might be below Melody on who he would have considered dominating. Maybe not actually, but just like at that level. Well, it's just like, you know, what was going through his head was like, oh, easy. Wait. And I can't say Yash or Taylor because I'm relying on their votes right now. Well, then who am I saying?

[00:09:11] At which point it was just is funny. So so at which point he then, you know, he's now said he's putting up Barrett and Melody. So Drew's like, oh, so did you end up making a deal with Taylor and Yash? And he's like, I'm trying to trying to. Drew's like, well, you know, you have nothing to worry about for me. It's just funny because I think that like D and Devin's, they forget sometimes that Drew thinks he's working with them.

[00:09:40] And so they don't know. They're like, he asks them questions they're not ready for because they don't expect somebody that they don't think is working with them to ask those questions. I mean, the whole week last week was such a strange adjustment for them within their own games, because while I guess maybe Devin's more than D saw Barrett possibly considering them and then eventually it happens. And so we get to like the speeches and stuff and it's like, I'm against that group. But Drew didn't do anything directly to them in this week.

[00:10:07] So they still should have that connective tissue to Drew, but it still feels like they don't because Barrett went that way and D is associating Barrett with him. And so is Stevens. And so that's what's making the house so complex to figure out what's going to happen from our perspective, let alone their perspective to figure out what like, wait, wait, literally who is with me and who's not. Yeah. So then Devin's has an interesting and this is probably one of the more impactful, potentially impactful conversations should be at least.

[00:10:36] Devin's is in the bathroom with Taylor and Yash and it's just kind of silent. Um, like there's a moment for the three of them to have a chance to talk and Taylor and Yash don't really take that opportunity that at least that's my read on it. Um, which gives Devin's the vibe of like, okay, it's the morning of the eviction. They've never like locked in confirmed to me that they're going to keep me. And now we have a chance in this, in the bathroom together to like talk and they're not saying anything.

[00:11:04] And so he just kind of like opens it with like, all right, so I'm thinking I need to win this thing. And they similar to how he was, were unprepared with a response. Uh, they're like, and he goes, fair enough. And he leaves, he goes to the bathroom. Uh, and Yash is like shrugs at Taylor, like, oops.

[00:11:29] Well, so I guess, I don't know if it was like exactly in the same moment or like a couple minutes after, but when he comes back in to talk to them a little bit more, uh, it seemed like he had a little bit of an emotional reaction to that of like, all right, fine. Uh, if that's what it is, what it is, then I guess I come back. If, if I win, I'm going to come back a free agent. Like anything goes a little bit of like a, if you're not going to keep me, like be aware if I win, that's what's, what's going to happen.

[00:11:52] Um, and I, I didn't love that reaction, but then Taylor tried to like calm it down a little bit and I think that it got to an okay place, but. Yeah. So basically Yash leaves and then Devin's comes out of the bathroom. Um, and, uh, and Taylor is like still just trying to like dudes a little, she's like, yeah, it's just, we're scared of you and drew. Uh, and he's like, listen, I, I'd love to work with you guys, but if not, it just gives me more flexibility moving forward.

[00:12:22] I know I'll, I'll be rolling solo. And she's like, well, no, no, that's not true. I mean, listen, maybe if you make a good speech, that's like loud and proud against true, then we would maybe then do it. He's like, okay, yeah, I'll bring it. I'll bring it. It's when somebody goes to someone, which Devin's has been doing a lot for the past couple of days, like, let me know what I can do for you. What can you do for me? Like have a conversation. Let me know if there's any information that I can give you. What information we've kind of hashed it all out. Do you really have any questions? That's fantastic.

[00:12:49] But like, they feel it seems like both, or at least Taylor is trying to say like, there was nothing really transactional that felt like we could use to like secure that we are with you or that you're with us. And using that possible speech of like one more chance of you to draw the line in the sand to say you are with us. Maybe that could be it because nothing else has felt secure enough for us to make this decision. And so he at that point kind of recovers.

[00:13:16] Okay, because of what Taylor gave him to say, oh, yeah, I can make a speech. I can do that. And so if the time came, if he lost the blockbuster, maybe he would have gone that route. But of course, the overall thing here is just that they weren't planning on keeping him as of the morning. Right. The main thing that the main reason we're like talking about this is that obviously Devins ends up winning the blockbuster. And Yash and Taylor are going to pretend like they were going to keep him. That was always the plan. But this was a huge slip up.

[00:13:44] This was a big indication that they weren't planning to keep him, that they tried to kind of hastily cover over. And whether or not that actually works is maybe a question that won't be answered until later when there's actually incentive for Devins to turn on them.

[00:14:01] But, you know, Taylor's attempted recovery was going back to this idea that like, hey, if you want to stay, then make a speech against Drew, which I don't love because it is transactional. Like if this were true and they would keep him and that really was the only way they'd feel comfortable keeping him. I still don't like it because, like I said, it would have just been fake anyway. Drew wouldn't have cared.

[00:14:28] But at least it would have been the thing that actually made them care or made them feel comfortable. But they don't plan to keep him. So instead of making him feel like, hey, we will keep you. Don't worry. They're making him making it seem like, hey, we will only keep you if you do this thing, which still feels like, oh, so I had to do a thing in order for you to keep me. But that wasn't even true. They weren't going to keep you anyway. Anyway, it was just a little messy. It was just a little messy.

[00:14:56] Taylor goes to Yasha after the conversation. She tells him about what she said. And she's like, I don't know, this wasn't the best, but I tried to recover essentially. But man, he was telling me that he's going to go solo, which confirms to me we can't trust him. But I told him to make a good speech. And Yasha is like, yeah, I'm confirmed with what we said before. And she's like, oh, for sure. Like they're still planning to vote Devin's out.

[00:15:22] And then a little bit later, they agree they should they should just go to Devin's again and just make sure he feels good that they plan to keep him as long as he makes the speech. And that will hopefully make him feel comfortable. So I do feel like, again, I or just in general, I've seen a lot of improvements or maybe I've just seen more of what Rick Devin's is capable of because we have live feeds. We don't have that on Survivor. So like I've been so impressed with so many things he's done this season. Lying is generally not one of them, as we just talked about earlier.

[00:15:51] But also just like quick reactions, which also I guess you just talked about earlier with the Drew conversation, is not his strong suit. And so his reaction to this, if I was, you know, sending a message to someone in the house to how to react a little bit better, just when you get the vibe from them that you're not being kept, you know, as they were making it kind of clear and saying, yeah, you might have to win. Like, but please, guys, please, like, you know, or not even maybe don't beg, but just like I'm with you. I promise like we've got this. If you keep me, just trust me.

[00:16:21] But he goes to a little bit more, again, of the emotional reaction there. And so I just didn't love that a ton, but it didn't matter. Dee tells Devin if she wins, he needs to show Yash and Taylor that he's with them. It's funny because she kind of comes up with this idea separately from Yash and Taylor. But that is ultimately what they were looking for if they had intended to keep Devin's. She says herself, she'll push them if she wins.

[00:16:50] Again, she'll push them to try to keep Devin's last minute. Angela can get mad at her if she wants, is kind of the idea. Dee also plans to make a speech. We ended up seeing that in the eviction episode that she goes for something, even though it was a little bit flat there just because the awkwardness of the situation. And Devin's talks with Yash and Taylor again. They go follow through with that idea. They tell him, they encourage him to make a speech. They say that they'll keep him if he does.

[00:17:20] Dee talks to Angela. Angela feels sad because she knows she's not winning the game and that maybe she should be the one that leaves instead of Devin's. And Dee's like, well, listen, we can all still win, Angela, because two of us will be in jury. And I know I'll be working my ass off in the jury to campaign for you two. And Angela's like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Dee's been pushing this angle hard, of course, with both Devin's and now Angela,

[00:17:48] making sure that she has some solid advocates on the jury. Devin's joins and they all have a group hug. They had a good run. Whichever of them are left, they're going to run it to the end. And so we also saw them have a bit of a group hug after the blockbuster as well. The three icons. Yeah, they've made it, as they said a couple times to each other, like making it this deep. I don't think any of them expected that to happen. So not only did they make it to jury, they made it a round pass jury. I mean, as far as the Angela thing was concerned, I don't know.

[00:18:18] I thought it was like a pretty sweet moment for a minute or two of just like her expressing how, you know, Devin's has a younger family, like his kids are younger and just like, I guess the money in general maybe would mean a lot to them right now. It's kind of the vibe that I was getting from what she was saying. And so she felt bad about like sticking around while he would, why he would go home. Obviously this isn't going to like, you know, be anything bigger than just her venting to Dee.

[00:18:46] I would say that just like from this conversation and through later with ultimately Angela's eviction, this hits Dee hard. And it hit Angela hard too. Just the idea that they were about to be separated. Angela and Dee formed such a close friendship this season that I can't say it enough times. I never saw it coming. I don't know why I never saw it coming. Maybe because Angela is so unpredictable and can turn on anybody at a moment's notice. So I said, even if she works with the icons, she's going to throw them under the bus at some point. And I'm so surprised that by the time she's leaving here,

[00:19:16] that she didn't really at any point, there were times that her and Devin's had their things and didn't get along, but especially with Dee, they were locked solid. And the most that we ever saw from Dee turning on Angela was campaigning for herself this week because she of course wanted to stay in both scenarios. So truly just like the friendship that they formed, you could see the tears were flowing even as early as this conversation. And then especially when Angela's gone, this group hug, look, not everybody loves the icons, but anybody that was rooting for them or anybody in this group, this was, you know, sad, but again,

[00:19:46] they made it this far. They'll be fine. Well, Drew checks in with melody, uh, before the eviction, of course, uh, the last time they had talked, melody was talking about potentially keeping D. So he asks her like, so how are we voting? How are you voting? And she says, Hmm, back to the original plan. Uh, Devin's is the primary target. We vote out D if Devin's wins, uh, because she asked Barrett about it and he wasn't on board with keeping D, but listen, Drew, you can do whatever you want. Uh, and he says,

[00:20:16] well, I don't want to be the only one voting to keep D. Uh, I mean, if it's Devin's, I'll give a sympathy vote, but I don't want to be the only one voting to keep D. That's not happening. Um, he says he's really nervous though about Yash winning HOH. She is too. Um, she says she'll talk to Yash and Taylor later. Um, and, uh, she complains to him because she was told by Barrett the night before about how Angela told Barrett that Drew was acting mad about the nomination. She says, you're still doing shady stuff.

[00:20:45] Like Angela's, uh, apparently you're telling Angela that I'm mad at you or, uh, and that you're mad at us. Um, and he's like, wow. Um, but then Barrett goes and has this conversation with D. Uh, this is, uh, the long awaited conversation. Uh, he's hi. And, and genuinely like, it was weird seeing Barrett downstairs.

[00:21:16] It was weird. It was very nice. Yes. He's been up in the room the whole time, which I'm like, why is that happening so much this season? Like, and it's always been different. Like Haley was in the room so much when she was HOH, but that was like HOH it is. D has been up there a lot when she's been HOH, but this was like Barrett, like, uh, just like hiding out in the HOH room, kind of not wanting to be around everybody else. So yeah, it's definitely weird when he comes downstairs. Um, and even weirder when the second that they end up within like talking distance of each other, D breaks into tears.

[00:21:45] It's a mess. Yeah. So he says, hi. She says, Hey, can I talk to you? Yes, of course. And he sits down on the bed. And first of all, hi. Hey. And she's, she starts tearing up. She's like, maybe we shouldn't do this because I have makeup on. He's like, well, I do want to talk to you, but, but if, you know, I also don't want to make you cry.

[00:22:14] She starts. Fuck. I did such a good job on my makeup. He says, well, okay. First of all, I just want to say that I love you a lot. I want to apologize for being lame and non-communicative, non-communicative kind of a jerk this week. I think everything you've said is super valid. Uh, it could have been way better with how I handled the nominations and everything after that. Uh, and you know,

[00:22:43] I should have had this conversation with you four days ago. Uh, but you should know that you had my game for the entire season. I don't want you to think that I've been behind your back the whole time. You were literally my person. You were my game for a long time. Where it changed was your last HOH. That altered how I saw our relationship. Everything that happened with, with Mosh Pit and how quickly that changed. Like, I didn't think we could come back from that, but you have literally been my best friend in the game.

[00:23:13] I don't want you to think that this was an easy decision for me or that I took a lot of joy in it, but you are such a good player in this game. You are a badass. And a lot of my decision was just that I didn't feel like going to the end with y'all at this point would be a game I'd be proud of. It's like, I understand. I understand it, but, you know, I've done it before, but I was not going to turn my back on you. I was going to turn my back on them before I turned my back on you. I can't go to the end with them.

[00:23:42] It felt like you wanted to make a big move so bad that you failed to think ahead. You don't have control over this vote. Yash and Taylor do. And you can't even play in the next HOH. I'm, I'm not saying there's not a big chance I'll regret the decision. What hurt me too is that you didn't even tell me. I had to find out from Devin's and Angela. Yeah. Yeah. I know I fucked up there. I mean, even with the Mallory thing, that wasn't even my fucking idea.

[00:24:12] I'm the one taking all the bullets. I sat you down and talked to you about it. Even with the bribe, at least I sat you down and told you. So it felt like a big ass backstab. And I could have ridden with red corner, but I didn't. They wanted your ass out. I always looked out for you. Yeah. Well, I appreciate you talking to me. It's literally the least I could do. So, uh, they keep talking for a while and she eventually, you know, it says, and listen, we'll,

[00:24:41] we'll be friends no matter what outside of here, this is a game and you're doing moves that you think are beneficial for your game. Um, and he says, he appreciates that. Now the key part here, of course, is that Yash is like walking through this conversation throughout. It's like a 30 minute conversation, 20 minute conversation. Yash keeps walking through, uh, as she's like crying to him and he's like being conciliatory. And it's just like,

[00:25:10] is there a world where this could be the thing that wakes Yash up? Of course we know it's not. But, uh, but for a moment there, I was like, man, maybe, maybe he has a conversation with Taylor. Yeah, no, I definitely thought it could. I mean, um, I think you were saying this about how just keeping them separate, uh, or them staying separate was obviously doing so well for D's perception of being against him. Um, but having this conversation, not only out in the open, uh, where Yash can see it, but he's hearing it just probably almost every single word that they're saying, uh,

[00:25:40] if he's walking by close enough. And it was to the point that he had to like, apologize. He's like, I'm sorry that I keep interrupting you guys. I'm just trying to get back to the room back there. Um, but aside from that, just, I, I don't know what to make of D in the sense of like, I know what I think of her as a player. And that is an incredible player over the course of this week. Plus many weeks in the season, I have seen things that have just further validated how high of an estimation I have of what she can do in these games. And I think there's a lot of people that would agree with that.

[00:26:10] Um, this is a conversation that I'm sitting there. I'm like, am I getting missed it? Like how much of this is real? How much of this emotion is real or how much of it is her tapping into almost a character that she's created for herself of like, she knows how hurt D the player should be by Barrett, the player based on the game relationship that they had had to that point. Plus, you know, a personal relationship that was in there along the way. We'll never forget the B days, uh, earlier on in the season. And so it's just kind of like,

[00:26:40] it felt like while this could have had a tinge of like, actual real friendship, like I'm upset that you would do this to me and that you wouldn't tell me about all of this. I was hard. I mean, this is because I respect her so much as a player that I felt like a lot of it was game. And a lot of it was her tapping into this, this character that she knew she should use to like, make him feel bad. I don't know. Like, this is like one of the things that I most want to find out post season of her. Just, it's a small scene on a random eviction morning,

[00:27:09] but like how much of this was her just really trying to like guilt trip him? I mean, I, I think, I think that like taps into a conversation that like, like what, what does it even mean to be genuine in, in a moment like that? Like, you know what I mean? But like everybody does that all the time. You know, if you're hurt, you're not always 100% vulnerable. It, while you're hurt most of the time, most people are at least a little bit defensive,

[00:27:36] a little bit like trying to make a person feel bad because they want to communicate their feelings and people aren't always amazing at communicating their feelings a hundred percent perfectly and vulnerably. So like, what is it, what does it mean that she's trying, of course she's trying to make him feel bad. She wants him to know that she feels bad and she wants him to feel bad about her feeling bad. Does that mean that it's inauthentic? I mean, I personally don't really think so.

[00:28:05] I think she's expressing a genuine emotion, which was that she was hurt. I think it's very clear that she experienced that emotion considering her actions and behavior over the course of the week, uh, that she channeled into as much game as possible while still feeling, I think, personally hurt by it. She also always made an effort to say she would still potentially vote for him in the end, that she would still be friends with him outside of the game. Um, and, uh, and I don't even think that like she saw this conversation is particularly game oriented necessarily.

[00:28:35] Uh, because she was sort of like, I think she kind of saw this as like, uh, like, yeah, you messed up by hurting me in the way that you did. And now you're about to feel it. I don't think she was like, Oh, I'm setting it up so that I'm going to work with Barrett again. She plans to take him out of the game. Maybe she was thinking a little bit like, you know, I'm, I'm working on jury management. Sure. Uh, but like, you know, even then, like that's not exactly the best jury management to try to make him feel bad. Like, uh, I,

[00:29:05] I think that, you know, it gets really messy when you start to think about like, what is genuine? What is not? Like I said, I think the emotions are genuine. It doesn't mean that like, it's, it's like, Oh, well don't fall for it. Don't fall for what? Like, I don't understand what the falling for is. I don't think Barrett is going to go. Oh, well now she's not coming for me. She never said she wasn't coming for it. In fact, she basically said, I am coming for you now. Uh, like what is there to be tricked by here?

[00:29:35] Other than just. She expressed emotions, uh, is my, is my kind of thing. I only take it to a like more complicated level just in general, because once again, of just like how much I value D as a game player and how much I know she could tap into these emotions to just kind of express those in a very genuine way, but also just kind of keep pressing on the gas a little bit to make this just more of a thing. Like really let Barrett know how she's because like,

[00:30:04] I think in all sincerity that she totally gets that this was a game move. How many times did she say that to Angela? Like, I get it. Of course you would do this at this point in the game, you know, Angela, Devin, whoever being like, it's too early. No, it's not. What are you talking about? It's too early for Barrett to have made this. This move you're at the final eight. And D never once, like I felt like actually felt that way. And so like when she's coming to him and again, they haven't talked for a couple of days. It's just like, I just view her as again,

[00:30:31] such a good player that she can take a moment like this and still be genuine, but still just find a way to kind of like say the right thing game wise. At the same time, be aware that Yash is walking by and probably not saying too much that he could possibly overhear. I don't know. This is like a really long way of me giving her credit for while she's having an emotional game talk, just like saying mostly the right things. Yeah. And I just, I think my thing is that like, I think that, I think that people are way too black and white with how they often see players. I mean, just in general,

[00:31:01] but like also in terms of how players express emotions that like, and it ties back to what I talked about, like, Oh, the fake tears people caught anytime. Anybody cries, where, where are the tears? Do I see any water? Uh, like people are so obsessed with like, what is genuine? What is not like every action you take is performance. You know what I mean? Like if you are sad, you perform sad. Uh, there is, there are levels of like,

[00:31:30] am I consciously performing? Am I actively faking a performance, but every action you take is a performance. And so like by saying, Oh, this is, this feels slightly performative doesn't necessarily mean that it's not coming from a genuine place. Yes. And I think, especially when you look at players like D, uh, or, you know, say Vanessa, who I compared her to before as well, which is like, um, you know, Vanessa was a very emotional player who was very sort of driven by her emotions.

[00:31:59] And yet she's like my quintessential logical player. Um, because she was able to tap into those emotions to, to brute force logic. And Dan Giesling is probably the most detached compartmentalized player. I wrote about this in my book. And yet you still can't divorce him from the fact that he's a human being that had feelings. The nomination replacement nominee roulette was charged by wanting revenge for Brian more than anything else. All he,

[00:32:28] what the lie was, was lying that it wasn't was lying that it was a preplanned orchestrated thing. People lie more about not having emotions than they do about having emotions. In my experience, especially these kinds of players. I think D like any human has emotions and she also plays the game. She's willing to cut Devin's because she thinks he's, he's turning on her one moment and she's apologizing to his wife. The next, uh, like, you know, uh, in the same way that Angela was willing to cut Devin's one moment and then say, Oh man,

[00:32:58] I feel bad. I think I should leave instead of him in the next people are complicated and they have feelings. And the reason why, at least I feel like harping on this and maybe you as well, just like also just, just, I feel like we're going to be talking about D for a long time to come. Vanessa, just like all these names that, that come up, uh, because they give you so much to analyze on a human level, watching these human beings play the game that are clearly just a step above other human beings that enter that house. D knows what she's doing. She knows how to win these games. She's won before she knows how to play the, play them.

[00:33:28] And even though it didn't go well on 50, like, you know, people make mistakes, players make mistakes, whatever. Uh, but just like seeing some of the stuff that she has accomplished here, it hasn't been all good, but the times that have been good, I just feel like we might be talking about for a long time to come. And people certainly are going to have their wide range of opinions, uh, beyond the fact of like, well, how they got to this point in the season. Uh, but I do just feel like, uh, like that D D D deep dive, deep dive, I guess you could just call it. That is going to hit. I'll be,

[00:33:57] I'll be so sad for it. The deep dive. Yeah. D slash P. Uh, the only other thing that really is worth noting before the eviction is that Drew does talk to Taylor. He asks her about what's happening with the vote. And she basically gives him nothing. Um, because he's, he's, he's always ad, advertised the fact that he is down to evict Angela. Um, but, but Taylor gives him nothing. He's going to say later that this was a very sketchy conversation and it kind of was.

[00:34:27] Um, but we then finally get to the eviction where, as we saw it, Devin's won the blockbuster and the vote flip went through. Angela was evicted. And we now have our second member of the jury and we are down to the final seven. And just real quick, I gave D a lot of credit. I will take some back because I didn't love, I didn't love everything with the, uh, speech here. I mean, I think Yash and Taylor might've already been locked in.

[00:34:57] And so do you, where are you at with feeling like, cause it sounded like Drew said later in the day that he did vote against D because of that speech. I don't know if we like fully believe that, but he said that. Yes. He also did tell melody that he was not planning to vote for D beforehand. Um, so, uh, it's, it's seems likely to me that he just used the speech as an excuse, especially because he told D to make a speech like that. He told me to talk against him. Um, so I think that, uh,

[00:35:27] that that was more likely an excuse more than anything else, especially because I think that drew also for the record, I think he was embarrassed that he was on the wrong side of this vote. Um, that he was literally just saying earlier in the day, there are people that don't deserve to be here cause they don't know what's going on. And this is the first significant time that drew's been blindsided, even though he should have been blindsided by many votes. This is the first time he's actually been like seriously blindsided on the wrong side of a vote. And I think he's really seen himself as like in the know.

[00:35:56] And you finally realized he got played himself. And so he's trying to like, excuse away. It wasn't actually my fault. You know, melody wanted me to do it and it was because of the speech and you know, ah, uh, so that's kind of my read on it at the moment. Really quick. Um, this is, I'm sorry, not going to land for you, but for any Bravo fans out there, go back and watch the eviction speeches, listen to Angela's close your eyes and just listen and see if you hear Vicki Gunvalson, because I do real housewives of orange County, real housewives, like one of the OGs, uh,

[00:36:26] just like I listened back to it today. And all I heard was Vicki. I'm really sorry again, Taryn, that doesn't land for you at some point. She will end up on traders and you'll know more about her, but, uh, but there's that also Angela gets evicted in the same shirt. Uh, I don't know if you saw the side by side, she's wearing the same, no different, different sweatshirt, uh, on top, but the, whatever the shirt is underneath, same one as, uh, when she was evicted last time, look at that. And she was talking to D I mentioned this last night, but she was talking to D about superstitions and like, who's close to the door.

[00:37:00] Um, so, uh, so yes, I mean, this was, again, this was something that her thing there, uh, her, her, her plea at the end there was something that, um, that she talked with Devin's. They were both going to do it because it seemed like something that could help lock Yash and Taylor in. Of course we do know that they were already locked in for, uh, for D, but they weren't for Devin. So this is something that D didn't need to do, but Devin's might have needed to do. And who knows, maybe it could have changed their minds if it was Devin's. So I don't blame her for trying. I think it, I, like I said, I think it, it fell a little flat,

[00:37:30] just the timing of it. Uh, also I think the timing of it is the worst part of it personally, because, uh, because it like gave time for like Barrett to be like, hold on Taylor, Yash, you're not doing this right. Uh, which probably wouldn't have changed anything, but like, I like small nitpick, I probably would have saved it for the speech itself. Um, and to, to allow like Taylor and Yash to let's just give nods to each other or something or like talk in the hallway, but either way,

[00:37:59] it doesn't change anything. Angela is evicted. The feeds come back. And, uh, and, and Yash is like, Oh, Taylor, thank God that you, uh, like saved that situation and made Devin's feel like we were going to keep him because he stayed. Yeah. And, uh, I, I mean, just going into the HOH comp, I'm feeling pretty good about a Devin's or D win. Um, I feel like a lot of people probably were just like, they just come off the block. They know how much they like need to get back in power right now. Like whatever the comp is, they're going to go hard for it. So yeah,

[00:38:29] pretty important to, uh, not have him feeling burned by you. Yes. Um, Drew talks to Devin's. He's like, so, uh, I don't know what, where I stand with D now. He's like, how come just cause D drew is like really been, like I said, he's been a little bit like shell shocked by this whole situation. And, uh,

[00:38:55] and I think he's really finally starting to feel like I like, what is my place in this game? And he asks Devin's, I think a very vulnerable question, which is like, do people like come and ask you what, who you're going to vote for and stuff. And I was like, yeah, yeah. People come to me all the time. Like nobody ever asks me how I'm voting. You think it's like, is it my age? Like, like what, which, and this is obviously like, it's not just about asking the way he's voting.

[00:39:25] It's just, it's like, there is a difference in the way that people treat drew. And it's because nobody trusts him. And he doesn't know that nobody trusts him, but he's finally starting to get some kind of that vibe. Um, and, uh, and Devin's like, you guys just separated yourself so much. Uh, and Drew's like, oh, well, Hey, crossovers too. I also feel like it's kind of just been the vibe of the house though. Like not everybody has been, uh,

[00:39:55] like, I don't know, like openly talking about the vote a ton outside of like, not to say that people aren't talking about the boat, but it's just, it's been a different season, at least to me, uh, before each eviction of just like what the conversations have been as opposed to a normal season. I mean, how many times are we seeing in the DR as like Yashin Taylor did? Uh, I mean, they probably both knew where they were voting, but just like that real final reassurance, like in that hallway where nobody else is around just feels like it's a thing this season. But look, I, I get where you're, where he's coming from. Uh,

[00:40:23] I just feel like it's also a little bit about the season. Yeah. Well, I mean, like I said, I think it's less about like the actual vote talk and more about the fact that like, uh, despite all of his, because he's talking to Devin's about this, despite all of his attempts to reassure the icons that he did not want any part of this, that he is with them. They still made this deal with Taylor and Yash didn't tell him about it and blindsided him at the vote. Uh, and so, uh, I think it's, it's kind of like a coded question to Devin's. That's like,

[00:40:52] are you guys going to let me back in? Uh, and then when Devin's doesn't respond in code, he responds with an answer about voting. Uh, he is more direct. And he asks like, can we get back? Can we get the crossovers back? And Devin's like, I'll, I'll ask about it. Oh, we'll see. Yeah. I'll check. Melody's talking to the cameras. She's, she's, uh, she's pretty much there. Uh, I've never felt more stupid in my entire life.

[00:41:25] Um, Taylor talks to Devin's and continues to play up how they were planning to keep him. Um, Barrett talks to Melody. She says she's so annoyed because she would have been down. I mean, despite the fact that she said it would have been stupid to keep both. She said she had, she had thought about keeping, you know, Barrett, I talked to you about it. I thought about keeping D. They deliberately left me out of this vote. Uh, I can't believe Yash spell all game, donking on the people who were working with the vets. And now he's a hypocrite doing it himself. And she said, you know,

[00:41:55] and the last thing lyric told me was don't trust Yash. Uh, Oh, I shouldn't have trusted Yash. And Barrett's like, well, it makes me feel better to know that he would have won veto anyway. Last week, I tried to target him. I do love, uh, the, well, I mean, I don't know if I love, hold on, hold on. Just, if I didn't know that correctly, he would have won veto anyway, except he wouldn't have played Barrett. If you hadn't picked him.

[00:42:24] Good point. Just a thought. Kind of scary. How close you came into my screen. I thought you were coming through it. Um, but, uh, I kind of lost my, Oh no, I was just going to say, uh, the, the way that the, uh, newbies all came together this week. We knew it wasn't going to last, obviously, especially for me. I see Yash and drew in the same room. It's not going to happen. Uh, but this is, you know, pretty big implications of like, them fully being on opposite sides of the vote. So melody being pissed at Yash here when like,

[00:42:51] they had kind of started to grow closer and bond over the fact that like, they were pissed at the icon still being here and then not voting together here, not being on the same page. Clearly it's just, it's curtains for, for any possibility of that group working together. Maybe later, you know, they're going to talk about like, Oh no, maybe, maybe next week we can pick it back up. No, you can't. It's, it's, it's done. Uh, and this is like, obviously he meant if he had nominated Yash, but the, but that was the whole point.

[00:43:19] He knew from the beginning that Yash as the replacement nominee was a good backup option. And if he hadn't picked Yash for the veto, that option would have been in place. Yash would have been on the block for this blockbuster. And yeah, he probably would have won the blockbuster, but listen, Tucker lost a puzzle. You know, you, you have to take every opportunity you get with these kinds of players. Um, so Yash and Taylor, they talk about like, okay,

[00:43:47] how are we going to explain ourselves to Baird and Melody about this vote? And the, the primary line of reasoning is going to be just blame drew. Just blame drew. He was going to break the ceasefire. So we decided that we needed to, uh, keep D in order to go after drew. Uh, but we still want to work with you guys. That's basically the, the line that they're going to take. Um, and it's going to get a little more complicated later in the night, but like, that is,

[00:44:15] that is the primary thing that they're looking at right now. Yeah. Uh, I don't know. I mean, when Yash decided to lie about this, I was even more so in that moment, like heavily anticipating you need to win HOH for my entertainment sake and see how this all plays out. Um, I mean, we're going to get today, uh, like the full realization of Barrett hadn't already fully accepted that this bribe is a real thing. Cause he was really trying to push it away and deny it. We're going to get that today of him, like truly accepting and seeing that this is real.

[00:44:45] Um, and again, with Yash having lied about it, they're, they're probably like, I would think, uh, going to not believe that, you know, they got me to deal with Devin's or that this is all about true. Uh, that it's just like, no, you did make this deal that they said that you made. And then you lied to us about it, which I don't know, uh, probably isn't great for him going into the double even more so than he's already a big target going into the double. But now I'm getting ahead of myself with what happens next. Uh, and some results.

[00:45:14] So Drew and Melody talk, they're both annoyed because they were, they both wanted to make that move too, but they were deliberately left out of it, which is the main thing here. It's like, yeah, you can blame Drew all you want for this, but you deliberately didn't tell us you wanted to do this, uh, in order for us to be on the wrong side of it. Like there's, there's no explaining that away. Um, so he says, uh, man, I talked to Taylor earlier today and I knew something was going on. She was being so cagey with me. Uh, I should have, I should have seen it. Um,

[00:45:43] she says that, uh, she recognizes she should have spent more time with Yash and Taylor this week that she, she ended up spending too much time with Drew and Barrett. She didn't spend enough time with Yash and Taylor. And now look what happened. She says, man, if two survivors make it to the end, at least I can safely say that I never helps them get there. Uh, who she says to Drew, uh, and Drew's like, well, don't worry. Yash will get there instead and he'll win. She says, I'm not voting for him. Fuck. No. Fuck you.

[00:46:11] You just went and did an alliance with these fucking people with your fuck ass bribe because you're a fucking idiot who fell for their persuasiveness. Come on, bro. And I hate D, but I'd vote for her over him. I don't give a fuck. Uh, like I both like find melody. So entertaining and also so frustrating because like the way that she finds her, that she could get so frustrated when she hasn't won anything to enact power in her own hands. Um, and yeah, I mean, I'm glad she's openly realizing that. Yeah,

[00:46:39] maybe I didn't spend enough time with these people this week that like keeping this locked in. Same reason that I'm going to get on Barrett a little bit, or maybe a lot of it, uh, for last week for the plans, not going in the way that they want it. They just kind of got comfortable. And funny enough, like D even brought that up earlier in the day. She was like, Drew and melody are just like running around the house, like having like the time of their lives. And it's annoying to, he said it was annoying to her. She's like, Oh, they're like so fun and comfortable now. Like that's annoying. Uh, and now the exact same situation is going to be flipped on its head for melody that everybody else is so happy, jolly,

[00:47:09] and she's the one. Uh, so I don't know. A lot of these people are not learning from each other's mistakes and that's fun. Yeah. I mean, this is, this is something that, uh, melody and Barrett had both talked about is that like, like if Yash is lying about this bribe, they're not going to vote for him because number one, it's, he's lying about the bribe and that's annoying. But number two, the bribe is such a stupid thing to agree to in their minds. Uh, especially for somebody who talks such a big game about being,

[00:47:37] it being pathetic to kowtow to the vets for that guy to be the one that accepted the bribe for that guy to be the one that voted to keep D over Angela. It seems particularly hypocritical and particularly pathetic in their mind. Uh, now will this thought process hold? That's another question. But, uh, but right now, uh, melody in particular is still quite upset about it. Well, I love the fact that we're going to have that intrigue going into the end game. If Yash does comp win his way out and ends up in the final three, I really,

[00:48:07] any scenario left of players here with, with Angela's gone, people thought maybe Lala couldn't win. Lala's gone. Like we're trying to figure out how these jury votes are going to fall. It might be one of the tougher tasks we've had in recent years. Well, feeds go down for the HOH. And, uh, now ostensibly here, we are looking at a scenario. Barrett is not playing, which means there are six players in the HOH. Yash Taylor, Dee and Devens are all on one side, Drew and melody on the other side.

[00:48:37] Yash has talked continually about how he was very likely going to throw this HOH. Uh, however, due to this vote flip situation and the new kind of deal made with Dee and Devens, I did mention yesterday that I wondered if Yash was actually going to be more willing to, to win this HOH, considering that it no longer ran counter to his motivation of wanting to retarget the icons. Now, interestingly enough, in my opinion,

[00:49:06] my opinion on it has flipped that Yash shouldn't have won it before, uh, or should have won it before he made this deal. But now that he's kept to Dee and Devens, especially, I think he really probably shouldn't win this HOH because, uh, it leaves him very vulnerable in becoming double eviction. Uh, but when the feeds came back, Yash did in fact,

[00:49:33] go on to win this HOH. It was the, um, it was the competition where you're like, uh, usually you're like slipping and sliding all over the place and you're trying to collect usually some form of liquid. I believe this in this competition, it was at least water and not something else like gross football athlete sweat or something. Um, but you're trying to like collect water from things that are spouting out water. Uh, it's individually timed. So it took quite a while.

[00:50:02] Um, and, uh, and Yash came out the winner, which means that Yash continues his win streak here for the most part. If you look at the regular competitions that he has played in since he won his first HOH, he's won five in a row, five regular competitions in a row that he did not throw. He of course, through the HOH, the drew one, we can assume he threw the HOH, the Barrett one, though.

[00:50:31] I do think that's probably the sketchiest one in terms of his ability to actually win it. Uh, and then when it came to the medieval competition, the medieval contest, uh, of course that was irregular. He also came second to D in that competition. If it were a regular HOH competition, D wouldn't have even been playing. He would have won. Um, and then he went on to win that, uh, final contest between himself, Haley and Lala. Uh, so you could also say that he's come in like first or second place in every competition.

[00:50:59] He's tried to win since he lost the wall. Uh, he's basically been top three in like seven of the last eight competitions he's played in. Even the one of the ones he threw, uh, it's, you know, just overall impressive comp stats here from Yash. I was going to say TLDR. Yash is good at comps. Uh, and we have, uh, I think, you know, obviously plenty of, uh, the, the most recent weeks to look at. And I don't know, it's been for me, at least a couple of weeks and probably a lot of you,

[00:51:29] as well, all out there, uh, of just like feeling like Yash could easily comp win his way to the end. Um, that does get complicated, uh, complicated a little bit here because of the double eviction. He will only have one chance to save himself. Uh, we should have every reason to believe that this is the last round of blockbuster. Um, and so at the double eviction, just like last year's double eviction, it'll go to a normal round of gameplay without that. We think, right? I think so. Uh, so leaving him only the veto to save himself.

[00:51:58] Now that's not really a big problem. Like he can win that veto. He can win any of these comps, but I mean, we also have to consider the fact that last night he chose to keep in D someone who has been on the challenge, someone who has won survivor D one, how many immunity challenges? Um, and so even though she hasn't been like winning all the comps here, she's been doing well enough. And still like, as the numbers narrow down and whatever, it just like, I have faith in her to win. Devins is winning a lot of these, uh, challenges or, or competitions.

[00:52:26] Anybody else here honestly could except for Melody. Um, so, uh, it's going to be a little troubling for him to get through that. But if he does, I mean, just final two, final three, it's, it's written in there. Yeah. I mean this, this HOH immediately invalidated the decision. Any, any potential upside to keeping D over Angela was immediately invalidated. The second he won this HOH because, uh,

[00:52:53] now he doesn't have to worry about being on the block next to Angela. Like that's just, that was never like, he's either going to be the target or he's not going to be the target. This was, this was the one round where maybe you could have made that argument. Um, but you can't really make that argument anymore. And now he's what, what the result is, is that he will potentially be fighting for his life in the fight, in the double eviction veto. And now he's got D as an extra competitor in there instead of Angela. Um,

[00:53:23] so, you know, that's unfortunate, right? Especially because he quickly talks to Taylor. They talk about how the plan is obviously to target drew. The idea is to take drew out, blame him for the vote flip, say he broke the ceasefire, but that they want to keep the ceasefire. That way they have two final fours going on. One with, uh, D and devins one with Barrett and melody. Uh, and they explain away the fact that Yash can't nominate the Yash isn't

[00:53:50] nominating devins by saying that he made like a handshake deal with devins. And there, he therefore wants to keep devins off the block. Uh, and that's why Barrett and melody are also going on the block next to drew because Barrett and melody as their other final four will totally be totally fine with that. And the fact that he's clearly lying to them and everything's going to be fine. The reality of the situation is his attempt to take out drew or Barrett. First of all, the vets have wanted Barrett out over drew. So that could be some tension. But number two,

[00:54:19] if he does manage to take out one of Barrett or drew, it makes zero sense for the icons to not target him in the double eviction. He's now one in HOH, which means that bribe up there, it will go away after this week on, uh, both on my graphic and in reality, which means the vets can no longer trust him to not come after them. And so if they win an HOH on the double eviction with one, with their big threat, Barrett gone,

[00:54:46] it only makes sense to try to take Yash out in the double eviction. They could even just try to backdoor him if they want no big problem there. Uh, if they don't want to like give their hand away, but if he doesn't win that veto, plop them on the block, he goes home just like that. He can't even win HOH to protect himself. That's very dangerous. Um, and not to mention the fact that that's what the icons might do. It's also what Barrett or drew or melody should do at this point. You're dealing with Yash or,

[00:55:15] and Taylor or, you know, Devins or D both are big threats, but Yash is the one that just turned on you, betrayed you, put you all up and is the much bigger comp threat. It's a very good chance that they also take the shot at Yash, which means almost everybody might be taking the shot at Yash in the double eviction. And he can't win HOH. And he's got a full house of competitors to, to compete against, uh, for the most part in the veto because of his choice on eviction night. So like, it's very dangerous. This does not mean any,

[00:55:45] all of this will happen, but like much of this could happen. And this is all pretty bad for Yash. And I think that he's made some decisions here that are sort of pointing him in the direction of danger that he might just win a competition and, you know, get himself out of, but it's definitely not looking amazing. And I don't have much to add on that because it's pretty obvious. You just laid it all out that like looks bad for Yash going forward.

[00:56:13] I kind of want to take it back to last week's HOH who's in a pretty similarly awful spot, obviously could be one of the targets of this week, but I mean, I just can't get over, uh, he got out Angela on his HOH. And I know he wanted to break up the icons, but Angela is not who he wanted to go home. He said like at the beginning of the week, like, yeah, I want to put the icons up, but also like it needs to be D or Devin's or even Yash that ends up going home and going back to the decisions that were being made a week ago. Right now, a week ago tomorrow,

[00:56:43] you know, last, uh, when they were picking veto players and all that stuff, the idea of, will we, will we possibly take Angela off the block? We might be okay with that. And now Barrett like just spends the entire night here. We're going to see just down in the dumps as well as well as he was this week, but now he doesn't have his room to kind of hide in anymore. Just like the walls have fully closed in on him, uh, realizing that Angela's gone. He got Angela out again, icon. Great.

[00:57:09] But now Yash D and Devin's are all surrounding him like sharks waiting to attack. And this is not going to be an easy path to the end of the game. If he even has a chance of making it there. Yeah, this is, uh, this is Barrett, uh, for most of the rest of the night. You better have a pillow. Yes, you do. Uh, well, no, that's not enough. Uh, Taron has his face in a pillow. Uh,

[00:57:34] he took that pillow in reality and smacked himself in the face with it about 10 times. Um, lightly, lightly, but yeah, not looking great, not looking great for Barrett here. Um, but, uh, somebody also asked in the chat who came in second place in the HOH competition. I believe it was D. Uh, so, um, D says to Devin's afterward as well. uh, D says to Devin's, uh, she's like,

[00:58:04] and you wanted to keep the five K. You wanted to keep it to go to Japan. Now look, he's like, oh, yeah, I still could have gone to Japan. Uh, Devin's mentions, he mentions this a couple times. I don't know if this is Devin's intentionally doing this because he's already trying to make sure the case for Drew to stay, uh, locks in, or if he just finds it funny because they did find it funny that Drew was apparently awful at this competition.

[00:58:33] He came in last place, uh, uh, that he was just like flopping around. He apparently never, or very, he found the good spout that they all talked about, uh, way, way late in the competition. Um, uh, they were joking around about how like Melody was going to get the ick watching him, uh, play that comp because it was so bad. Uh, which is worth pointing out because, you know,

[00:59:00] comp threat is often determined by what have you done for me lately? And Drew being this bad at the HOH competition would likely give the vets more ammunition to point the target at Barrett over Drew. Now the veto competition will also, uh, determine this, but, um, um, but just worth pointing out. Also, I mean, just in general, Drew is, you know, at least still lines of communication are open with the icons. Um,

[00:59:28] and he hates Yash in the game. Um, Yash and Drew are, are, is it oil and water? I never get that comparison. Right. Or the, those ones, right. Right. Uh, that they, they don't, they can't play the game together. They have tried multiple times to at least like fake a conversation and fake their way through it. It doesn't work. Um, and so they're going to keep going after each other. What's particularly funny about that is that they did get along for a long time in the game, but the main point of contention was that Yash was like, baby boy,

[00:59:58] Drew will just, will keep working for the vets. So like the thing that caused the most amount of strife between the two of them was that Yash was mad at Drew for wanting to play with the vets. And so he's decided to play with the vets to go after Drew. Yeah. Funny game we've got here. Um, um, it doesn't seem recoverable to me by any means. Uh,

[01:00:26] I don't see a world that these two could ever link back up together in this game. So I don't see a world where it ever makes more sense for the icons to, to want drew out over Barrett at this point. Uh, just in this round, again, Drew will go for Yash. Barrett probably looks back at the icons and says, well, I couldn't get you last time. So maybe I try again. Uh, even though he also knows that Yash is a problem, but again, that's why Barrett is taking a pillow to his face. Yeah. So, uh, Barrett and melody talk.

[01:00:56] Barrett is still pillow. Just, just kill me. Don't make me wait for a week for this shit. Barrett's Barrett's talking about like, man, that was such a bad HOH for us, man. It's so annoying. The two physical HOH is in a row. Barrett. Oh, who could have guessed that? Who could have, who could have, who could have known about that? Drew's talking about how end game is physical. Melody's talking about and game is physical. Barrett. I know, you know, I'm game is physical.

[01:01:25] And yet you kept Yash off the block. You chose him for the veto. He says, at the end of the day, there's nothing we can do. If Yash just wins everything. I don't know. There was something you could do, which is try to backdoor Yash last week. I don't know. This is a thought. This is a thought. That was something you could have tried to do. It's not like there's nothing. You said there's nothing you could do. It's not like there's nothing you could do. If there's something that you actually could have done, which is not. That's another deep dive. I'll be looking forward to, to go through the week and,

[01:01:55] and like get his, you know, thought process just like really talked all the way out because obviously we did see the, the value in putting all three icons up. It still made sense and, and keeping them there, but initial moms made sense. Yeah. Yeah. Um, and just, there's a lot to consider that goes into it. And of course, like you have to be okay with your worst case scenario go happening. His worst case scenario was Angela leaving and he wasn't okay with that, but it still was allowed to happen based on the way that the week was mapped out and, and the veto comp and all that stuff.

[01:02:24] So yep, yep, yep. Yeah. Uh, drew talks to D he says, I'm still not coming after you. You know, she says, I believe you like, uh, you got to tell me like, what happened with Taylor and Yash? Because again, he, he was telling her throw me under the bus, make a deal with Yash and Taylor. Um, so like, he's like, Hey, tell, tell me what happened. It worked. Like what's going on? Uh, she's like, I'm not telling you that. Like what? Come on. You're boring. She's like, you voted me out. You're a little weasel.

[01:02:55] Okay. Yeah. I'm a little weasel. Uh, she goes on to say that she, uh, she has talked about how she like, she does still respect his game that she like, she would honestly vote for him in the final, too, because she was appreciates how much work he puts in. He's just, he's always everywhere, always talking. Uh, so he'll always be her little weasel. Yeah. To be 22 again, have that kind of energy. Uh, but, um, yeah, I mean, that's like the cutesy relationship that I guess they have. Um,

[01:03:23] he literally just voted to evict her and you know, she's going to put a smile on her face, but also because like, how could D not have a smile on her face at the end of the day today? Like you could have been, I don't know. Kamu could have walked back through the door or anybody that, you know, like these worst enemies across reality history could have walked into the game and entered it. And she would have been, you know what? I made it through an eviction that I thought there was a chance I was about to go home and I can't be touched this week. So, you know, even because of course people are talking about what could happen this week with the veto Taylor wins. Could she use it?

[01:03:53] Would she use it? Could an icon still go up? I mean, yes, there is a scenario that mathematically that could happen, but I would think that that would be Devin's if it happened at all. Uh, I think. Yeah. So it is worth mentioning this as well. Uh, there are scenarios here, of course, with the blockbusters still in play, drew melody Barrett, almost, uh, guaranteed to be the three initial nominees. If any of them win the veto, it forces Taylor on the block as the renom.

[01:04:21] Now that means that Taylor is theoretically in danger. She shouldn't be the target for the vets. It would require the vets to flip because there are four votes. Yash breaks a tie. So you need three votes to overturn Yash, which means you would need one of, uh, or sorry, you need to both, both the fap. Plus you then also need essentially both of the icons. Um, and it's,

[01:04:49] doesn't really make sense for that to happen. I've seen this thought that people have been like, well, what if they decide because they want to weaken Yash in preparation for the double eviction to take out Taylor? Taylor, it just doesn't really make any sense. Uh, as long as you feel confident, you can beat Taylor in the HOH competition, then the shot at Yash is freely taken regardless of whether Taylor's there or not. Um, because, uh, it doesn't really change much. Uh, so taking out Taylor, like, it's not like her vote matters a whole lot in the short term. Um,

[01:05:19] and what happens is if you take out Taylor and in order to free up a shot at Yash, that means you take out Taylor and Yash and in the final five against a trio, two V three. It just doesn't really make a lot of sense. Now I say that this is still the survivor players we're talking about. This is, this is big brother 28. We're talking about theoretically anything could happen. Uh, we just saw D survive against Angela that said it shouldn't. Then there is the other option,

[01:05:45] which is that if Taylor won the veto and she decided to use it, that would break the bribes curse this week. It would allow Yash to nominate either D or the, or Devin's as Matt was alluding to, because it is no longer mathematically possible for Yash to keep them safe. Uh, so he could theoretically Chuck Devin's or D probably Devin's, as you said, uh,

[01:06:14] on the block. But again, uh, Devin's would not leave unless Yash wanted him to, or I guess D wanted him to, uh, because D and Taylor's votes would allow for, uh, Devin's to stay. Now Taylor likely wouldn't do this unless they planned to vote out Devin's, but there's not a whole lot of reason to do this either, because it's the same problem.

[01:06:44] Like it just, it just takes out what your opportunity. If you wanted one of them out, you should have just voted D out. Like, uh, it doesn't make sense to now not take a shot at this trio. Uh, when you have the ability to accept it, maybe it does. Right. Because Yash is worried. Like maybe there's a world where Yash thinks, okay, I need to make a deal with people who might actually accept it. Barrett and melody, uh, to take out one of the icons. And maybe they actually won't target me in the double eviction.

[01:07:13] Whereas the icons will, uh, again, there's a whole week for this to play out, but these are still pretty niche scenarios. Overall, the key for anything to open up, uh, for, for a possibility of wanting to go against dear Devin's would require Yash and drew to feel comfortable with each other. Or obviously in this case, Yash to feel comfortable with drew, because if drew just happens to win the veto and comes off the block, then again, Taylor of course has to just go up and that's easy.

[01:07:41] But in a world where Taylor won the veto and was using it on anybody on the block, that is Yash saying that, like you just said pretty much, but like you, he wants a D or devins to go up and go home over drew. And I just going back to what we were saying earlier, don't think there's any world that Yash wants to come out of this week. Drew's drew still in the game. That's his number one priority. Right. Problem is he might not have a choice. Uh, if drew and Barrett are on the block at the end of the week, the,

[01:08:10] the survivor players plus melody could theoretically all keep drew, which is what the survivor players at least want. We don't know quite yet. What melody would want. Um, but they might not have the option not to mention the fact as drew says to melody, uh, over the course of the night, uh, he says, as long as Barrett doesn't win the veto, I feel really confident that I can beat him in the blockbuster because drew feels like now,

[01:08:35] surely the blockbuster will be the ropes and Barrett is too tall for the ropes. Drew really thinks he will be Barrett in that blockbuster. Um, so, uh, and listen that the, the ropes were Michael's kryptonite. Michael also quite tall. Uh, if Michael can lose ropes because of his height a little bit, then surely Barrett could. Although some may argue that Michael lost the ropes because of a faulty, uh, harness. Um, but either way,

[01:09:03] he might not have the ability just cause drew might win the veto or the blockbuster here. Um, so, uh, so that's certainly something to, uh, to watch out for as well. Isn't drew also kind of tall. I feel like he's, he gives tall vibes. He is, he is actually, uh, also quite tall. It's just the Barrett is like quite, quite tall, quite, quite tall. Sure. Like a couple, even taller tall. Okay. Um, and honestly, the only reason I bring that up is because I think how many days into the season are we,

[01:09:32] I think yesterday was the first time that I realized how tall drew was. Um, it was just him and D were talking, he was in the shower and I was like, Oh, you don't usually see like that much of a person above the shower door. That's crazy. I never, I never realized. Yeah. Uh, it's a big brother is, is like, it's very difficult to tell how tall people are. It's because it's so relative when Barrett is like the, is like super tall. It makes everyone else look so much shorter. Right. Uh, but then if you meet them in real life, you'd be like, what? I know.

[01:10:02] Well, that's me with almost everybody. So yeah, um, so I drew does joke with melody though, by the way, he says, uh, maybe, maybe I'll use the veto on you so I can beat Barrett in the blockbuster. She's like, promise. He's like, no, no, but maybe, I don't know. It just says things, uh, but I would like to see it. I'd be here for it. I would too. I would too.

[01:10:31] Um, D keeps saying that she feels bad for Barrett, but she warned him. She warned him. She feels bad. She's also feeling bad for, uh, for Angela leaving. Um, especially because of, I think like the abruptness of it and the way that she wasn't able to properly, like say goodbye or explain any of it. Uh, she wasn't able to give her a sympathy vote. Like, uh, just, it was a very abrupt departure, uh, for the person that had been by her side for the last 66 days. Yeah. But again,

[01:11:01] just like the relationship that they had formed was so good that it was almost like when Angela was saying that, Oh, I'm sad. Devin's has to go. I don't think she was, she, she wasn't saying this directly, but like, almost like I would rather go over you. And when she's hugging the people goodbye and just like giving that, like you did the right thing. Like there's not a single part of me that feels like she is like, she loves big brother and she loves playing, but I do think that she was almost equally happy that D still gets to play the game. Uh, that she, that maybe she was sad or,

[01:11:31] or happier. She was, words are hard, happier that D got to stay and play the game. Then she was sad that she had to leave because she likes her that much. They connected that much. So, yes. Um, Taylor does follow through. It's a brief conversation she has with melody before bed. Uh, she says, Hey, after we did the whole ceasefire shit, Drew went down and he was talking about wanting to put up, uh, put that wanting them to put me up. That's what Angela told me.

[01:11:58] And then apparently he also said he wanted them to put, uh, Yash up. So, uh, that's why we did it. And Mallory's like, ah, Drew pisses me off. God. Um, and she's like, and so, yeah, you know, Yash can't put up D. So. Feet's cut for that too. So I don't know exactly how she worded it, but she's again, sort of starting to imply that obviously you're going to, some of you are going to have to go up. Um, and Melody's just fucking irritated at Drew. I was never mad at you guys. You know, I was always mad at Drew. Uh, and Taylor's like,

[01:12:28] yeah, I just, I wish I had a chance to tell you I was, I was hoping I would sit next to you on the couches, but we weren't sitting next to each other. So, uh, Melody's like, oh, I totally get it. Which of course Melody's going to say in this moment. Um, but you know, this is a little taste of what I assume will be a larger conversation with Yash, uh, today. Yep. Yep. I'm looking forward to a lot of these conversations, especially Yash. He had a little bit of like right before bed. And so I think like, I thought everybody was asleep and then Yash was still awake. And, uh, I think he was, he went outside of the HOH room.

[01:12:58] There's like a little couch out there. He was just sitting there and seemingly like rehearsing the things he was going to say the next day, which was hard to know for sure that that was the case because never his mic on. They had to tell him to put his mic on at four 30 in the morning. Um, but like you could kind of hear him starting to reason out things that he was going to tell people throughout the day today. So, uh, really don't think that he expected a lot of this to go the way that it has between the vote yesterday. Uh, and ultimately him winning and now him having to go through on the bribe. And, and he lied to people about the conditions of the bribe.

[01:13:27] And now they have to find out the reality of the situation. And he has to come up with an answer. And, you know, it's easy for Taylor to say, Oh, just say this. Yash is the one that has to go say it. So I think he's, uh, going to have a bit of a tough time, but I'll, I'll be happy to watch. Yeah. Yash, Yash was up for hours after everyone else by himself. Uh, like everyone else was in bed by like around, at least like 1am. I think Yash was up past 4am, um, on his own. And yeah,

[01:13:56] he was sitting out there like rehearsing conversations to himself. Uh, I would hope that given he spent all this time thinking about what he's going to say, that he'll come up with something better than I'd made a handshake deal with that. Like, I would hope that in his rehearsals, he realized how bad of an excuse that was, but who knows? Um, you know, we're gonna, we're gonna see what those conversations look like today. Um, and then we'll,

[01:14:26] we're going to get nominations that are basically a foregone conclusion. So, uh, I don't expect a lot of drama today, but who knows? Yeah. And, uh, also you have a, another logo to remove from your graphic tomorrow. Uh, drew seemingly was picked as a have not, which means right. The past had to get activated. Well, the never not passes is good for the whole season. I thought it was like, uh, like once you like used it or I don't know, maybe you never, you're never have not, I believe it's not worse. No,

[01:14:54] I don't think that he like could be a have not again, but I thought it was like, like he had to like present it. And then like, it's not like, it's a thing. I don't know, whatever. Uh, but yeah, they, they, they intentionally sort of burned, uh, or tried to burn a spot. It's, uh, they still have two have not. So like, I don't know exactly if it worked, but, um, but, uh, yeah, until they declare that, that, uh, have nots are over. Um, he keeps it because he still can't be a have not still has his fork in a spoon. It should be like a cold, a warm shower,

[01:15:24] uh, logo next time that this pass comes back. Cause I'm sure it will. Um, but yeah. Um, and is Devin's now one? Did, did I see your hands and Barrett? I believe it's a have not. Okay. You would think that this is the end of the road for have nots. Uh, but who knows? Yes. Uh, now Yash's bribe power will, uh, I think, um, Oh, you know what? Hold on. I'm just realizing. Yash can't break a tie to evict an icon.

[01:15:54] So you need three votes. Yeah. You need three votes to evict an icon. You can't just have two. Um, well, I think you would have three votes. It was mathematically broken by putting him up on the block. Why would the deal continue after that? Well, it's, it's not that it breaks it. It's just that like, it's not mathematically possible to keep you safe during nominations, but it's still mathematically possible to keep you safe with the vote. So I think he would still have to do that. That's some,

[01:16:22] that's some dangerous territory with the, uh, with the specifics. I mean, I think it, I think it makes sense. Um, but, but what I think, I think it ultimately doesn't matter because in the event that Yash wanted an icon out, uh, Taylor would vote that icon out and therefore they would have easily three votes. So it wouldn't, it wouldn't really matter. Truly would love some terms and conditions next time we got this. My, my point though, is that, uh, basically as soon as they really,

[01:16:52] as soon as the veto competition, as early as the veto competition results, we can maybe take the, the bribe off of Yash because it may no longer be relevant. Yeah. But yeah, there we go. All right. Anything else to talk about, Matt? No, there was a lot. Um, it's, uh, crazy to have one of the icons finally gone. I mean, there's only what two weeks left of the season, so it's not that crazy, but it still does feel crazy because they both are all three of them made it. This deep. So the house feels different going forward. I mean,

[01:17:20] I remember on 26 when Angela was gone, she's such a big presence in there that it is very noticeable when she in particular leaves the house. And I was already feeling that last night, but we'll see what happens next. We've got a double around the corner. And then, you know, once the double comes, like Julie said on the episode, it's just like, bam, bam, bam, we're at the finale. So we are basically done, uh, but not quite there. So still plenty more game to go, but it feels like it is going to go fast, especially once we hit next Thursday. So yes, indeed. All right. Well,

[01:17:50] that is what we have for you. Then today I will be back tomorrow morning. Oh, okay. Hold on. Hold on. One thing. Cause I'm seeing it. I'm seeing it in the chat. Oh, I'm not having any of this pressure cooker nonsense. Oh yeah. I'm not having any of it. We are not calling the sword competition, the pressure cooker that is blasphemy on, on the history of this show. We are not calling this competition, the pressure cooker. I,

[01:18:18] I will die on that literal sword. Uh, this is, please don't know. Uh, please don't. Um, but I mean, of course you're right. Um, that like how, how, how stupid or naive am I to like, I'm like going to sit here for the rest of the day, like checking my phone, waiting for like a Mike Bloom, Sharon Tharp tweet that says like CBS says life needs to be up tomorrow. Like I I'm the dumb one. I'm the idiot for thinking that that's a possibility. Right. I think I am.

[01:18:49] I, yeah, that will, that will get feeds. I don't know. Probably not. Um, but whether it's, yeah, don't call it the pressure cooker. If it's not the pressure cooker, even like the 20, the season 25 pressure cooker was like, I want the box. I want the buttons. They had buttons, but it wasn't the box. Yeah. Uh, and again, the pressure cooker competition is named the pressure cooker and the revenge of the pressure cooker. The other competitions are named other things. Yeah. It's just,

[01:19:18] it's just the way it is. You know, pressure cooker has a very specific meaning. Uh, and if you call something a pressure cooker, that's not a pressure cooker, you are no longer being precise with your language. Uh, so listen, if you want to seem dumb, go ahead. I don't want to, but I usually do. So, but you're not talking. Um, so that is what we have for you. I'll be back tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern, uh, to update when everything happens today on the big brother, 28 live feeds,

[01:19:48] including these conversations with Yash. I may end up streaming today or who knows, uh, over the course of the next couple of days over on my Patreon. So come and hang out over there. If you so desire, uh, season, season's coming to a close soon. So make sure you, make sure you give it a shot before the season ends. And you, you say goodbye to me for a whole year. Um, uh, and, and that's about it. We'll be back with more podcasts over the course of the week. Matt, what do you got going on? Um, some fun episodes of the diary room. Uh, of course,

[01:20:18] a podcast I'm on and I are trying to find the best player in big brother history. It's a bracket. It's a game. It's a long, long, long podcast. Um, where we have a lot of guests on Taryn's been on plenty of times. And, um, this week we had, uh, or next week we have QT. I think this week was Sharon Tharp. If I have my schedule in my head, correct. Um, so lots of fun episodes, uh, to check out there. We're talking through all the players as they get eliminated, um, from big brother 28, uh, free agents podcast, talking to Brian Scali about the challenge all the time, especially with this current season and dancing with the stars is back. Um,

[01:20:48] we just did our draft, uh, over on, we know dancing with the stars.com right here on our HAP, uh, myself and Sasha, uh, we had Brandon Donlin on to, uh, draft the cast and just talk through everybody. That's going to compete on a season 35 of dancing with the stars. We'll be live on Tuesday night, not on Wednesday night because big brother is on Wednesday night, two hours and then a podcast. So it's a long night here. Um, but we'll have the podcast up for both episodes, uh, as soon as possible. So if you're watching dancing with the stars, um, join us. It's all I got.

[01:21:18] All right. Well, thank you all so much for joining us here today. I will see all of you next time. Oh,
