BB28 Friday Live Feed Update August 21, 2026

Big Brother 28 delivers non-stop uncertainty as the house splinters over shifting alliances and unpredictable votes. Host Taran Armstrong leads this live feed update episode with guest Pooya, diving into the fallout from one of the trickiest pre-eviction periods of the season. As loyalties break down and old plans are exposed, no one is safe from suspicion.

[00:00:10] Armstrong talk Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Fido to HOA You know he is the reason, you know what's happened Rob said that he could do it, tomorrow he will do it again

[00:00:43] Hello everyone and good morning, welcome to our live feed update for August 21st. I'm your host, Tern Armstrong, and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 Live Feeds. It was day 45 in the house.

[00:01:05] And we had quite a ridiculous pre-eviction set of feeds leading into the eviction, which was a big one, which then led into some post-eviction drama. And then we have a new HOH. We've got new plans for the week and plenty to talk about in between. And with me to do so is Puya. How you doing Puya?

[00:01:31] Doing good, Taren. The last live feed update for me until we see each other in Milwaukee. So we're gonna have fun there. We're gonna have fun today. So it's fun all around. Fun all around. All right. Well, of course, as you know, at the start of the day yesterday, we had Yash as the HOH. He had also won the veto. However, Devin's still managed to get in there with his nominations.

[00:01:58] Take down D with the diamond power of veto, which led to a block of Angela, Kamu, and Haley. The big story of the week was how great this was for Mallory and Melody, who wanted Kamu gone in the first place. And then how much they'd been botching their position by like waffling back and forth, making both sides feel uneasy. And just not being able to make a decision about what they wanted to do.

[00:02:29] So the night before, on day 44, they had approached Drew saying, we full on want to keep Kamu. And Drew had to talk them out of it, which he did successfully. But before that, they had basically promised Yash and Taylor up in a meeting in the HOH room that they would vote to keep Kamu. And that meant that they were in a bit of a pickle now.

[00:02:56] So in the morning of day 45, Angela asks Drew about what's going on with the meeting last night. What happened? And Drew says, ah, well, they were pitching to keep Kamu, of course. But he says, don't worry. I talked to them. Everything's good. You're going to be fine. You know, they're just like, you know, they're pitching really hard.

[00:03:22] So if this does happen, you know, I think Taylor and Lala, they might like kind of get in the faces of Maladie and Mallory. Yash won't because he's respectful. And Andrew's like, oh, yeah, yeah, I'll stand in between them if that happens. And it's like, no. This is not okay. No. No. We're three minutes in, so I don't want to drop an F-bomb. But like, Angela, you are the queen of crash outs yourself.

[00:03:52] Don't act like you're going to be the mediator, the peacekeeper here. What are we talking about? Let's be very real here. I don't love this. And we've talked about this, Taren, a lot before. We've talked about this on different seasons. One of my core memories as a podcaster, one of the most difficult podcasts, was my first introduction into having to talk about microaggressions on the live feed update with you. This happened with Ovi back in B21 for me.

[00:04:16] And here, I would just like to say, again, absolutely ridiculous that you are pulling this out of thin air, assuming this is going to be a thing, then making it a bigger thing by acting like you're going to be the mediator. It's not okay. It's absolutely not okay. And it's obviously, this is not the first example, nor likely will it be the last, but a frustrating way to start the day here.

[00:04:43] And as the day continues, Drew talks to Barrett about the night before. He says that they were really starting to waffle the eaves, as Drew sometimes calls them. He says, like, Barrett, we really need to make sure that they stay on board here for the Kamu vote. And Barrett is like, oh, okay. And so he goes and asks Mallory about it. And he's like, so we're still good?

[00:05:11] And Mallory's like, yeah, yeah, I'm voting out Kamu. He's like, okay. And that's about the extent of the work that Barrett does for the day. Mallory, in the meantime, goes and talks to Melody. And it's not quite as straightforward as she made it out to be. She tells Melody she's got an idea because they want to get through this vote.

[00:05:37] And they have both agreed that Kamu should leave if he's available to leave. But they don't want to expose themselves, their positions to Yash and Taylor. They promised Yash and Taylor they would vote to keep Kamu. So what can they do about this? Well, what about, hold on, if Haley wins the blockbuster, we know Haley has a good relationship with Angela. Maybe Haley will vote to keep Angela.

[00:06:07] And if Haley votes to keep Angela, we won't have the numbers no matter what we do anyway. So we can vote Angela out. We vote Angela out. We can intentionally put ourselves on the wrong side of the vote so that Taylor and Yash are like, oh, they're still with us. This is okay. This could work. And then we just tell the icons like, oh, we're just blurring lines. We're just blurring lines.

[00:06:39] This, okay, this can work. This is a good idea. What do you think? Is it a good idea? What is your position on this officially? If this scenario was to play out? Hmm. Come on, bro. What are we doing? What are we doing? This is a ridiculous idea.

[00:07:03] I, uh, I really liked, I really liked the position that these two had. I really liked Mallory's social game. Everybody loved her. Everybody wanted to work with her. And over the course of a couple of days, I feel like these two have squandered nearly all of the advantage that they had. They have proven to me that they do not know how to handle any amount of power. Uh, and it's only going to get worse today.

[00:07:33] Um, so, uh, Melody says, wait. And you can, you can sort of tell that Melody is a little bit like not as on board with this idea as Mallory is. Uh, Melody's like, well, hold on. We don't know for sure that Haley's voting that way. What if Haley votes Angela out?

[00:07:58] And then all of a sudden we just voted Angela out and we kept Kamu and Mallory's like, oh, right. Well, we should ask Haley which way she's voting. And, and in my mind, I'm like, I don't know, maybe we should have been talking to Haley at all. Uh, instead of letting the icons talk to her all week long, but that's fine. Um, and they're like, well, what if, what if she's not going to tell us her vote? What if she's not going to tell us her vote? It's like, well, she might vote anyway.

[00:08:27] Oh man, that would put us in so much trouble. What if she went this way? What if she went that way? We could pretend she voted one way, but then she actually voted another way. Then we'd be, then we'd get in trouble. And Mallory's like, wait, hold on. I have a solution. Only one of us votes Angela out. And the other one votes the other way. Yeah. How is that a solution to your problem? How? It's just not.

[00:08:58] Like in any way. This is so ridiculous. And the most frustrating part of this is that like three days ago, when all this, four days ago, when all this happened, right after the diamond veto was played, they had the, they had the exact perfect strategy. We're just going to have to tell Yash and Taylor that we can't trust Kamu. He's too dangerous.

[00:09:27] We'll trust him with no Haley. We'll trust Haley with no Kamu. And we should spend the week just telling them that this is unfortunately where things stand, but that we are with them moving forward. And we can spend the week talking to Haley, talking to Kamu, making sure that they're on board. If one of them stays solidifying what they have with them. Unfortunately, this is just the way that things are going to have to go.

[00:09:51] Instead, they twisted themselves into the most ridiculous knots and are now in this position where they are nearly blindsiding half the house, no matter what they do. And their waffling has sketched out all sides. Taylor and Yash being like, they better not blindside us. The icons being like, they better not blindside us. And even Drew is kind of like sick of their waffling.

[00:10:20] He's getting frustrated and he doesn't want to get dragged down in their nonsense. And so it's just like, ah. Yeah, we talk about people being adaptable in the Big Brother house. The yes and being a decent strategy in certain situations. I think where the season has gotten to, where the position they're in, they should have been doing yes buts, right? Yes, but.

[00:10:46] I think mentioning that, you know, yes, but let's see what's left of the group. Let's split these two up and then we're still down. We're still game. Is a far better move than giving them basically enough of a yes that they think they've got you. Giving the other side more of a yes that they think you've got them. Like, it's just, you're painting yourself into a corner when you were in the middle. That's a very hard thing to do. When you were in the middle, you have all the corners. Not, how are you veering into the top left suddenly? I don't understand. Yeah.

[00:11:17] Yeah. So, with this as their new potential plan, they need to figure out where Haley is voting. That is step number one. In the meantime, Devin's is telling Barrett, hey, if Melody and Mallory flip, I'm going nuclear. And Barrett's like, oh, wow. Then Drew talks to Devin's and he's telling Devin's, I don't know if Devin's prompted this conversation or if Drew volunteered it because the feeds cut in on it.

[00:11:46] But Drew is telling Devin's that the Eves were a little hesitant last night, but he convinced them to get back on board. Now, I think this is coming from a place of, once again, like, I'll answer the question, teacher. It's me. Pick me. And as well, like, hey, I'm the good one. You know, they're misbehaving. Choose me over them.

[00:12:12] But also, I think a genuine frustration at their, again, waffliness. But Devin's is like, listen, as a teacher might, you're all in trouble if you don't get in line. Devin says, if they flip, I'm going nuclear. It'll be a full reset to zero. I'm exposing everyone's secrets.

[00:12:42] And Drew was like, yeah, like nuclear on them. Right? Like, no, everyone? Devin's like, yeah, everyone. Full nuclear. Full reset. Drew's like, well, yeah, but I'm voting. I'm voting. I'm voting Kamala. Yeah, it'll be everything. Well, I mean, I don't think that'll happen. You can see the fear in his eyes.

[00:13:11] I mean, I don't think it's going to happen. I would hope so. Well, yeah. I mean, I've done, I've done, I've really tried to make sure, like, I'm pretty sure they're going to vote that way. And Devin's like, listen, at this point, I know you four are tight enough that, unfortunately, you and Barrett are just responsible for how they vote. She's like, oh, okay.

[00:13:42] These are the pitfalls of being seen with people long enough and interacting with them long enough and then being hype about bringing them in long enough that you happen to be the extension of the representatives for them. Like, yes, you're all in the same group, but you're kind of their handlers now is kind of where they've landed. Well, that's because all he's, all he's doing is like, hey, I'm convincing them. Look at me. I'm proving my value. I'm the one. They're, they're the misbehaviors, but I'm a good one.

[00:14:10] Then it's like, okay, then you're responsible if things go wrong. You just, it's so easy to just be like, listen, they're totally in a hundred percent. Don't worry about it. Don't even worry about it. Um, but no, no, no. That's not how Drew likes to play the game. Um, so, uh, after Devin's leaves, he is like, you freaked him out yesterday when, when previously you had also told him that they were waffling.

[00:14:38] And Drew says, well, I was right. They came to me last night saying, I don't know if I, if we can do this. Um, and, uh, but, but I'm with you guys. Do you, I mean, do you guys trust me? He's like, I do a hundred percent. He's like, I haven't scared me with that. She's like, it's fine. It's fine. It's like, listen, I need Barrett to clock in. You know, he's so mellow and go with the flow. He's doing nothing to help me out here.

[00:15:08] Um, and it's just like, it's so, it's, it's, it's so exactly how I'm describing it. It's like, I'm the good, I'm the goody two shoes. Why am I getting in trouble for them? It's not fair. Just keep some stuff to yourself, Drew. It's not that difficult. You don't have to say everything. And then there's, guess what? The messenger gets shot. Sometimes this happens. You are the, you are going back and forth. Cause here's the thing, right?

[00:15:38] We've all joked about how Barrett doesn't do much. Barrett is furniture, Barrett, this Barrett rat, whatever. But like, at least compared to Drew, he might seem like he's falling in line a lot more. Even if the four of them are all guilty by association. If there was a power ranking, Barrett's lower than Drew. And that's a better place for him to be than anything, especially with three nominees. Um, that's a better spot for him to be in, in case things kick off. Yeah. So Drew goes to Barrett and he's like, dude, we need to talk to Melody and Mallory.

[00:16:08] Barrett's like, why? Cause Devin's is going to go nuclear if they don't vote with us. Barrett's like, oh yeah. He told me that too. He said the word nuclear. That was the end of that conversation. Cause they're just, it's a passing conversation. In the meantime, Melody and Mallory are talking to Taylor and they are asking Taylor, how's Haley going to vote? Cause they still got this plan in mind. On that mission.

[00:16:37] Uh, and Taylor's like, oh, she's, she's voting Kamu to stay. They're like, oh, are they? Or is she? Is she? Okay. Uh, okay. Um, well, there goes that. That plan. Uh, maybe the one in one. Uh, and Taylor's like, so, so we're good. Don't worry about it. Um, and, and like Taylor's still so deep in the, we're still keeping Kamu, uh, of it

[00:17:02] all that she's like, so when are we telling Barrett that Kamu is staying? Uh, probably like last minute. Right. And they're like, yeah, yep. Yeah. Yeah. Then Angela joins and Taylor leaves and it becomes a conversation. Angela and Angela and Mallory leaves as well. And then like Drew joins and Dee joins as a whole, like it's a, everyone's cycling through the storage room.

[00:17:30] Angela is telling Melody that she heard that Taylor, he, she heard Taylor and Lala saying her name in the kitchen. She knows Lala is going to vote her out. Um, and, uh, she also knows that Taylor, Lala, Yash, Kamu and Haley made an alliance. Haley basically admitted it to her. She asked Haley what the name was and she wouldn't tell her. Uh, but Haley knows she's at the bottom of it. Um, and, uh, and I think, I think there's a part of Melody that's kind of realizing like,

[00:17:59] oh, we've been talking about which side to choose. What, so what, what to do with the vote, all this stuff. And we haven't even like really bothered to, to think about the dynamics of that side. What if they do have a full solidified alliance? We're, we don't even have an alliance with them. We're talking about voting with them. Like, I think maybe this is a little bit running through Melody's mind. Uh, she's telling Angela, you're good. You're good. You're good. Don't worry about us at all.

[00:18:29] Uh, in the meantime, Drew is, is on the couch with Mallory in the living room. Uh, just like, honestly kind of babysitting. Babysitting while being like, Hey, you know, you're not gonna, you're not gonna touch those scissors, right? You're not gonna, you're not gonna go on your iPad. Your, your, your mom, your mom's gonna kill me.

[00:18:55] Uh, in this case, your dad's gonna kill me if, uh, if, if you do something wrong. So I'm just gonna, you know, you're not supposed to do it. Right. And Mallory's like, I know. I mean, it's good. It's good for you to not, to not do these things. Yep. You, so, so you're not gonna do it.

[00:19:26] Nope. And I'm, I'm exact. I'm obviously, I'm, I'm, I'm exaggerating about the scissors, the iPad, whatever. Uh, he's talking about Kamu's vote. The vote with Kamu. I'm not exaggerating about the body language or the noises being made. Like she's literally, he's like, Kamu voting out Kamu is good for us. We need to be voting out Kamu. And she's like, yeah. Ah. It's like, it just doesn't feel like you, you're really excited about this.

[00:19:55] Like, this is a good thing. She's like, maybe. It's like, the icons are telling me that they're going to come after us if we flip the vote. She's like, really? Yes. Ah. You know how I said earlier? Yes. Anding sometimes isn't the move, especially half-ass yes. Anding, you can't half-ass the yes. And this is bad. Like this isn't,

[00:20:24] this isn't giving the group you're going to vote with any confidence. If you vote with them, that this is solid, which is what you don't want. Mm-hmm. It's, it's, and this conversation just lasts forever. He's like, listen, you can say, you can say, you can blame it all on me. Say that Barrett and I made you do it. And like, I mean, I don't, I don't want to do that. Like, I don't care. I don't care. You can say whatever you need to say to not be in trouble with them.

[00:20:53] It'll be fine. Okay. Ah. This is going nowhere. Melody ends up joining. And then it's awkward with Melody. Uh, at one point Barrett's sitting there, uh, like in the fetal position. Um, and, and Drew's like, Hey, Hey, ask, ask Barrett about it. Hey, Barrett, how, why don't you talk to her?

[00:21:23] Barrett's like, what? Barrett, what's going on? You look scared. Do it. Oh, he comes out of the fetal position. He's like, do you like my outfit? Like, yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty good. I think it needs to be ironed. Actually. I'm going to go, I'm going to go iron. I'm going to go iron the outfit. It's astounding how little Barrett does give,

[00:21:51] but also Barrett might be the spokesperson for why. Cause I've seen some people argue, turn there in California. They should be allowed weed. This is exactly why you shouldn't be allowed weed. This man is already way too nonchalant. Could you imagine a little, a little joint as well? That would go nowhere. That would be a terrible idea. Yeah. So Melody talks to Mallory and Mallory tells Melody, Hey, Drew said the icons would come after us if we flipped. And Melody's like, of course they would.

[00:22:21] Why wouldn't they? And I was, Mallory's like, ah, yeah, we just have to vote Kamu out. We just have to vote Kamu out. What do we tell? When do we, we'll just tell Taylor and Yash like right before the vote, I guess. And that's basically what we see before the feeds cut for the eviction. Yup. Yeah. So we get to the eviction.

[00:22:50] And of course we all saw this play out. We have a blockbuster competition and there's balls flying in the air to be clear. I mentioned this on the, uh, on the recap last night that Angela had the strategy for this competition told to her by Tucker. Now you don't need to have been told by Tucker to have watched the seasons and seen the strategies,

[00:23:18] but you know, Haley maybe didn't see Kamu, maybe didn't see. However, Angela in her wisdom, uh, and this is, this is like so pervasive in the house everywhere from so many different players. They're also kind of proud of knowing the strategies for competitions. They're constantly sharing them. And it's just like, maybe I can see this.

[00:23:47] If you are sharing strategies for a competition, because you want your ally to also be able to perform well, because you want to win an H2H company, you or your ally win an H2H company, something along those lines, right? Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe you could share strategies for a blockbuster competition and a really vital one thinking, again, you're not on the block and you're like, I really want this person to be able to beat this other person in the blockbuster competition. But if you are on the block,

[00:24:17] the idea of sharing a winning strategy with a fellow nominee that you will be facing off against in a blockbuster competition feels kind of wild. Angela shares the strategy with Haley and maybe you can say that she just wants to make sure her or Haley wins so that Kamu doesn't win. But here's the problem. Haley also then shared that with Kamu.

[00:24:50] So all three of them knew the strategy. The difference is that Angela is the only one that actually properly like attempted it. Haley said that she didn't want to go down and like scrape her knees up. I guess like with her tattoo, I didn't understand what she was saying. Yeah. And I forgot to ask Kamu about it in the interview that we just did. Yeah.

[00:25:18] Given that they did not do that strategy and it still looked like they had picked up and it got close. I'm glad they didn't because pretty stupid. Like there's, you have a one in three chance of winning the blockbuster and you have the advantage. Keep the damn advantage, especially when your alternative is, well, one of the other two should be leaving over me. Do not share. Yeah. Yeah. Either way, even with the strat, it was quite close here,

[00:25:46] but Angela did manage to win the blockbuster, which meant that Kamu stays on the block against Haley in this spot. Melody and Mallory couldn't have even flipped if they had wanted to because, uh, Drew and Barrett would vote with all three icons and that would make five. We do know that Mallory told Taylor, uh, ahead of time, right before the vote, they did not manage to tell Lala.

[00:26:14] And just like that, Kamu has been evicted. And when the feeds come back from the eviction, people are upset, particularly Yash. Lala is, is, uh, is very sad. And, you know, this is sort of, uh, the world we now live in. Melody does feel bad that they, that she didn't have enough time to tell both Taylor and Lala. And, uh,

[00:26:44] and of course during the votes, D said evacuate. She said, I did that on purpose. That was funny. It, I mean, I laughed. He's not wrong there. Yeah. Melody and Mallory plan to place all of the blame on Drew and Barrett, which of course was kind of the plan. They will say, Hey, we didn't have the numbers. Drew and Barrett weren't on board. What can we do? And so that is kind of the plan there.

[00:27:13] And Yash is already pissed at Drew and Barrett. He tells Melody and Mallory that he wants to go after them. Uh, they said, at least with the icons, you know where they stand. Drew and Barrett are just fanboys, just fanboys. And you know what? You know what? Drew had a final two with comma. Do you know about that? Cause common told Yash about the handyman. So, so that he's, he's all, he's all talking about that. Lala is crying. She's done cooking and cleaning for Drew and Barrett. She's done with, done with, done with all that.

[00:27:45] Yash does ask Drew about the vote. Drew says, I, I'm sorry. I just didn't trust common. He was up in every HOH. He, he, I just didn't trust him. And Yash said, you should have trusted him. Uh, and Barrett joins. And Yash says, well now, now I'm going to go up on the block every single week. And Kamu never would have put any of you guys up. And he would have put, I wouldn't have put any of you guys up. And now I'm going to be on the block every week. And then, uh, Barrett leaves and Yash says to Drew, like, so,

[00:28:14] so Melody and Mallory flipped it. And this is a trap. I think. Cause Yash prompts this. And Drew says, well, yeah, they were uneasy about it, but I don't blame them. Like, uh, like I'll, I'll take full credit for this. Um, and Drew continues to talk about Kamu being sketchy and Yash disagreeing and Yash being upset about this whole situation. Now, Yash

[00:28:43] still takes this conversation and goes to Melody and says, Hey, Melody, Drew fully blamed the two of you for this flip. Drew said it was all your fault. Uh, that, that you basically saying that Drew is doing the reverse on Melody and Mallory, which is not really true. I mean, he did say that they were uneasy about it. Uh, but cause he's Drew and he can't just say, no, they're completely blameless,

[00:29:11] but Yash kind of flips the conversation. Uh, and, and again, I think the whole thing was a trap in the first place. Um, and, and he tells Melody that, that Drew fully is blaming them and Melody's pissed. I have been very vocal about not really, being a Yash guy this season. I love this move. I love this move. He, listen, if he fully thinks that he's going to be on the block every week, do, do chaos, like absolutely. So seeds of mistrust.

[00:29:41] Why not? You have nothing else going on. Switch it up. Like try something else. And I do love this from him because ultimately again, Taryn, we talk often about how being in the middle should be such an advantageous position to be in. These four are somehow getting blamed for everything from every corner and are mistrusted by different pockets of people in the house. Horrible place to be low key. This season, it might be the worst place to be in the middle. Um, cause I don't think, yeah, I think you're just getting blamed for everything. It's you just know,

[00:30:10] you just need to play it. Well, yeah, I mean, that's all, that's all really find yourself in the middle, utilize the middle and then step three profit. That's really all it is. It's really all this. Meanwhile, D and Devin's are celebrating. Wow. Look at the survivors. Um, the, the new plan is we need to pull in Haley. And, uh, and this is something that I think, you know, the whole melody and Mallory,

[00:30:40] will we, won't, won't we keep Kamu situation has really sort of distracted everyone from Haley as a, as a person, as a player, as a, as an, as an anyone. Um, and this is largely because, uh, they were so focused on Kamu. They forgot that Haley was like still there. And while I have a lot of criticisms for the icons and terms of how they

[00:31:07] played this week and how close this vote came to, to Kamu staying, which would have been a disaster. Ultimately, it kind of might pay off depending on what happens with this HOH competition in terms of their relationship to Haley, because that is the one thing that they had been doing through the week. Taylor was too, but say, even Taylor kind of got distracted from Haley with the melody and Mallory situation, trying to convince them to keep Kamu.

[00:31:35] So Taylor and Yash spent so much energy trying to flip melody and Mallory, which ultimately didn't go anywhere. And in the meantime, Angela in particular, but even D start talking to Haley a bit more. And now Haley is really starting to, uh, to, to be somebody that they at least think can be pulled in. And speaking of Haley's not doing too terrible herself. I mean, listen,

[00:32:04] she's doing terribly last week. She's sharing blockbuster information with Kamu. She's basically like full on willing to be a going up on the block. She's basically campaigning against herself, but in terms of her social game, which has largely been the criticism of her in the past, um, she is getting along with people much, uh, much better. And, uh, and to, to the point where both sides do think they can kind of pull her in.

[00:32:34] Um, so, uh, so this is the new plan for Devons and D and it is the correct one. Uh, because again, they now know that melody and Mallory are straying from the, the pride, right? Like the, the group. And, uh, and so kind of an easy call is to maybe someday kind of replace them with Haley, who now is the like second best competitor in the house behind Yash, theoretically.

[00:33:04] Uh, so, um, very good idea from them. If they can pull it off, very bad for melody, Mallory and the rest of the house, uh, because they've been so distracted by all this common stuff. Uh, it'll be pretty important to win this coming HOH to make sure that the icons don't try to solidify power, especially by pulling in Haley. Um, especially because if they try to pull in Haley, that leaves fewer spots, uh, uh, there's fewer people available for those nomination spots. Mm-hmm.

[00:33:34] Bad news. Um, D and Barrett talk, uh, and, uh, and they're kind of like doing a little like, Hey, America, give Barrett the power, give Barrett the next power now. Um, and it's so funny because, you know, like Barrett is fan. He's deep, deeply embedded as a fan. He knows that this is like the worst thing that you can do on the feeds. He knows,

[00:34:05] but he's also Barrett. Right. And so when D is prompting this, he's like, don't, don't think this is pandering. I'll, I'll do good things. And then it, cause he's like, I, oh, this is bad, but I can't say it's bad to D because that would hurt her feelings. So I need to play along while also trying to tell the audience that I'm, I'm not trying to pander. And then D says, well, we're the good guys, right? Ooh.

[00:34:35] And he's like, he's like, I don't know anymore. Like, please don't say that. Please don't say, I can't tell you not to say that. Cause I would never stand up to you, but please don't say that. The read between the lines analysis is what I'm here for. That's hilarious because absolutely. He's not going to stop depraising him. Are you joking? He's he loves that. Give me more, but also I know I shouldn't have this right now.

[00:35:05] Yeah. So Lala asks Barrett, what happened with the vote? She said, what, why Barrett? And Barrett's like, I just didn't think Kamu was on our side. She's like, he was on our side. Barrett, we were driving the truck and now we're not. And Barrett's like, ah, then I'm sorry. Oh, leaves. He's like, well, that went well. Melody and Mallory talk. This is when Mal,

[00:35:35] Melody tells Mallory that. Yash told her that Drew blamed them and threw them under the bus. And she's pissed. Melody says, I don't, I don't think I, I don't think I want to win HOH. Mallory's like, same. And I'm like, come on, Barrett. Pop off. I knew it. I knew it was about to crash out. Don't tell me this, Melody and Mallory. You just spent all week pissing everybody off. What do you mean? You don't want to win HOH.

[00:36:04] You clearly don't know how to be a middle person. Win power, do something, piss people off. That's part of the game. But they're unsure. They're unsure that they want to win. So they, you know, we'd hope we should hope they would try, but we'll see. Drew joins them. And they're like, Drew, what did you, what did you talk to Yash about? And Drew just fully tells them the truth. Like I said,

[00:36:34] you were unsure, but I said, you can blame me. But I don't think they believe him. And it gets really awkward. And Drew gets the vibe that it's awkward. He's like, you guys not trust me or something. And, and this time Mallory is the one like putting up the, like Mallory's like, no, no, we trust you. It's totally fine.

[00:37:04] Melody's like pissed face. And he looks back to Matt Mallory. Who's like fake smile on. He's like, why are you guys lying to me? Like, we're not, we trust you. It's like, no, you don't. Like what's happening here, but it doesn't really go. They're just like, just, just win HOH, Drew, just win HOH. He's like, I'm going to, I'm going to try. Like,

[00:37:33] why do you want me to win? Are you guys not going to win it? Why don't you guys want to win HOH? Like, no, we do. We do. It's like, it doesn't feel like you guys want to win HOH. You should win HOH, you know? They're like, no, no, we're going to try. It's just that you should win HOH. It's like, okay, I mean, I will. All right. Yeah. This conversation felt weird. Not that other ones have felt normal,

[00:38:04] but I definitely, if I'm Drew, I'm like, oh, these two do not want to win it. Cause why do they keep telling me I got to win it? It's not a, we should win it. You should always lead with the, we at that, in that situation. But it really felt like, and melody especially did seem like maybe you win it and I'll talk to you again. Like that's kind of the energy I was getting and I'm not even there. So yeah. So, uh, the feeds eventually go down for the HOH competition.

[00:38:34] And we learned that the HOH competition is balance beam, uh, which I did. I did, uh, mention last night, but I thought it would be too late in the season. Usually they do this a bit earlier in the season, but maybe, maybe my memory is wrong. Um, but it's the balance beam. And, uh, there are some front runners to the balance beam. Uh, Barrett does, I think kind of decently. Um, Mallory,

[00:39:04] obviously you'd assume would do very well. D of course, balance beam, very survivory. Uh, this is definitely something that, uh, that they could probably do well. And when the feeds come back, we discover that D has won. HOH. D is our new HOH. Apparently Mallory and Barrett both came close. Mallory came really close.

[00:39:30] Yash tells Mallory she could have won if she had just sprinted at the end. It was actually so close. Um, and, uh, and Mallory talks to Barrett about how, you know, hopefully they're good this week. Mallory's kind of like a little hyped. Um, she's like, I am a little nervous. Uh, but, uh, but yeah, I mean, I think we'll, I think we'll be good. And Barrett says, yeah, I don't, I didn't really want to win that HOH. I kind of slowed down at the end. Um,

[00:39:59] and Mallory says, Oh, same. I knew I could beat D. I just wanted to know. I just wanted to see if I could beat her without actually having to win. And I could beat her. So I slowed down at the end.

[00:40:15] He's turning into that.

[00:40:46] Always throws me off. Taryn. When you go down one step, that's leveled like that. Yeah. It's a treadmill. I can run on it. I can run faster than melody. Mallory can on a stupid balance, babe. I'd have this season breaking you. Um, really didn't, but I think this is the closest I've seen you to break, uh, this early into a season also, mind you. And it's still better than last season.

[00:41:17] You became a whole new person last season. You morphed into Vince basically. It's just like, Oh my God. You spent the entire week last week being like, man, we got to make sure we go after the, the icons. We might need to keep the, one of the most dangerous players in the entire house. Kamu in order to make sure that the icons don't win this. And then, and then in the next H to H competition, after pacing off the icons all week,

[00:41:46] you were like, nah, it's just good to know. I can beat her. Let's give her some power. Let's give her the ability to pull in Haley because now she's in power. Let's give her the ability to maybe put me on the block because she's trying to pull in Haley. And Oh, what if Yash wins the veto? Who's she going to put up? I don't know. Maybe the people who pissed her off last week, who spent no time bonding with her. Cause she was busy hanging out with Yash and Taylor all week talking about.

[00:42:16] She wants to keep Kamu. Oh yeah. Let's just give her the H to H. This is, this is ridiculous. Also, we're about getting close to jury. Would you not like a stat or two on your resume? Like maybe perhaps let's leave a little inkling of something. Cause also isn't one of the bigger signs of being in any Alliance, whether a named one like mosh pit or something else that you're looking at showing that you can and will pull your own weight and win power and keep people safe.

[00:42:44] Isn't that usually a good thing? This is the problem, man. Being in the middle with no power, you're just a lemming. And I don't think that. And if there is a power ranking on that, you don't want to be in that position. This is tough. Especially when, you know, look at the writing on the wall, Taryn, let's look ahead real quick. There's a, there's the mosh pit that leaves four people out of the mosh pit. You already think Haley might get scooped up. That leaves three people. What happens if the veto gets used? Someone's got to take that seat. Could be you.

[00:43:14] Could be someone you don't want to be on that seat. Yep. And guess what happens immediately as the feeds are coming back from this. We have, we've got Haley talking to D and Angela. And she says like, well, we're back with the pact, right? For just all like Haley already, of course, because why wouldn't she be, why wouldn't Haley gravitate toward D and, and Angela here? Why wouldn't she try to rekindle that relationship?

[00:43:41] And now if they're going to be pulling in Haley, guess who is actually in a little bit more, trouble. Now, listen, they're still probably fine. Yeah. Like this was the opportunity to make sure that, that like what you wanted to have happen would happen. You could have gone after them. You could have like rekindled with Yash and Taylor and Lala. Haley remains like just a neutral piece on the board. You go after the icons,

[00:44:10] you force Drew and, and, and bear it in and, and everything's great. Or even, even if you were like, okay, fine. We'll, we'll target Haley. We'll just, you make sure that Haley takes the brunt of this. So that Haley's the one that goes and you protect Yash and Taylor somehow. You know, Oh, sorry. One of you has to be on the block as a pawn. Are you too upset about that? Because you're, you know, you, you, whatever, go after them, do whatever you want to do. This is your game.

[00:44:40] Stop letting it be other people's games. Um, so Haley's talking to D and, and Angela. And she says like, Hey, uh, I'm back with you guys. And hopefully, hopefully I'll win the power this week after not winning it last week. And I'm not going to tell anyone if I do. Um, so D and Devin's talk and they talk about how they're going to pull in Haley. And Haley is exactly, again, the kind of player that the, the icons can pull in there. She's close to Angela.

[00:45:09] She's absolutely going to like gravitate toward the power of, uh, of D and Devin's. Um, and this is exactly the piece that they need to be able to contend with FAP moving forward. Uh, they just need to take out Yash. And then they're kind of good. Right. Uh, and Yash is the target. He is the most threatening competitor on the other side. And ideally D was, is able to backdoor Yash. However, she doesn't want to nominate Haley if she doesn't have to. So,

[00:45:37] she doesn't think she actually has the amount of bonds to use in order to, to backdoor him. So she thinks that she'll just have to put them up straight, straight away. Just Yash, Taylor, Lala on the block. Um, and then, Hey, maybe if they need a replacement, it'll be Mallory. You know, the one that just threw the HOH. But she could have won it. And that's what matters. She could have, if she wanted to know that she could have, you know, exactly.

[00:46:06] For her own sometimes. Well-being. Yeah. Well, you know, she should have talked to D about how D felt about that on the previous HOH. They do want to, because listen, they recognize that Mallory and Melody are, uh, have clearly spent all of their time the previous week with Yash and Taylor. Uh, uh, and so they kind of want to like, just call a huge meeting, uh, with everyone, including Melody and Mallory and excluding anyone, not in the Alliance,

[00:46:36] just to like expose Melody and Mallory's positions to Taylor and Yash. Um, and not to mention all of this again, like Taylor and Yash have every incentive to throw Melody and Mallory under the bus this week, uh, uh, about all of the talks that they've had with them about anti icon stuff. Um, they're currently focused on Drew and Barrett, but like, and they do have some information on Drew, but they've got even more on Melody and Mallory. Uh,

[00:47:03] and if they recognize that that is like kind of an option, they absolutely could, could use that. Um, especially cause it's like, they also recognize that Melody and Mallory didn't exactly tell them until right at the last minute. And Taylor's talking to Lala, like, I don't believe for a second that they didn't know until then they just waited until the last minute to tell us, even though there's still more pissed off at Drew. Um, and so, uh, so this is where we're at. That's,

[00:47:33] that is the, uh, the plan for now. It's just going to be Yash, Taylor, Lala, pretty simple nominations. Yeah. Straightforward. This is kind of what we, this is where we could have predicted these three. If anyone on that side was going to win specifically the icons there. And quick aside, I want to ask you a question just to clarify. So if we were to power rank Haley's connections in the house, right? Angela's number one. Yeah. Gaps, no gaps. Who are the next three? Just so I have a rough idea because I'm about to criticize. Something.

[00:48:03] If, if you say something specific, I would say next three at this point, probably D and it will deepen this week as with her as a true age. I would say Taylor who spent a lot of time with her in the previous week. And then number three, I would have said, uh, but he's now gone. Um, I would maybe say, man, at this point, like, yikes, she talks to drew. She doesn't trust him,

[00:48:33] but she talks to drew more than almost anyone else. So then, yes, perfect. Allow me to be critical of the idea of like, Hey, this is someone who's been on the block two weeks in a row now. Um, and this week was probably the least, the only way she was leaving is if Kamu's coming off the block. Why don't the rest of you talk to her and make connections with her? Because she's staying just in case she wins. Why are we not doing that? Why are we collectively all not doing that? Hell, even on an individual level,

[00:49:01] one or two of you could too many people are ignoring her. And like, I get it. It's Haley. Like not exactly the best, the most titillating conversation, but like you're in the game. She's still in the game. Make a relationship happen. And I don't know, maybe if you were Yash and you were trying to pull Haley in and you won the veto and you didn't want Haley to go, you could have used the veto on Haley and tried to really solidify that relationship, uh,

[00:49:29] instead of not wanting to piss off Barrett, you know, like anyway, um, we're good. We're good. Haley talks to D and Angela, uh, some more, uh, D says that, uh, and they basically just like one of those clear the air conversations. Cause it's like, we're really going to be working with, uh, each other moving forward. D says Kamu is mad at her because D tried to vote. Uh, D is saying to Haley,

[00:49:56] Kamu got mad at me because I tried to flip the vote to save you the previous week. Uh, Haley, um, which is true. Uh, and Haley says, Oh, I, and I did tell him about the Bible comment. Uh, and D says that wasn't even me. Um, now that's not true. It was D. She very much did tell Haley that Kamu, she's heard that Kamu put hand to Bible, uh, and, and lied on it. Um,

[00:50:26] but D has emphatically denied it to Kamu, which you would expect. She's now also apparently denying it to Haley, the person she said it to. I don't know if she thinks she can gaslight Haley or if she doesn't remember making this comment, but, uh, but she is telling Haley, I didn't do that, even though she directly said it to Haley and then Haley related to Kamu. But Haley admitted she related to Kamu. Uh, the point being that they're kind of like still there. Listen, we're,

[00:50:56] we're going to be okay. We're going to air out everything that we've sort of said about each other. And, uh, and we're going to be working with each other moving forward. Quick question about this Haley scoop up. Um, what combination of people will be in with like, cause are we trying to like make a whole alliance with Haley? And if so, who are the people that would be in that grouping? I would assume it's icons plus Haley. I think that that is kind of what's coming. Uh, maybe just D Angela Haley,

[00:51:26] uh, maybe exclude Devin's. That's probably honestly smarter. Um, but, uh, uh, but I think the idea will be that as early as next week, if, if Yash leaves as early as next week, they could take a shot at melody Mallory or just FAP in general. Um, because for as much as they're so scared of Taylor, uh, FAP is more dangerous than Taylor and Lala at that point. Um, if Taylor leaves and Yash stays,

[00:51:55] they might need to still focus on Yash. But honestly, I think they just use Haley to go after this whole group in general. Uh, that would be their ideal. Remember from the beginning of the game, Haley was designed in their minds to win an HOH, take a shot for them. She did that. They discarded her and then she survived. And then nobody else picked her up and they were like, Oh, I guess we'd, it's still good. Good. Five second rule. Do it again.

[00:52:25] Um, and so that's kind of what's happening for now. Uh, we'll see if it works or if Haley is a little more, uh, you know, hip to, to what might be happening this time around. We'll see. But, uh, I think that's the rough idea. And it's something that's obviously melody Mallory and the rest of FAP should really start to get on. I obviously, I do think that the Kamu move was the correct move.

[00:52:51] The only problem is the move after the Kamu move was when HOH, if you have the ability to, which they did not do. And so now they are still okay. This was, this is baked into that whole idea is that, Hey, they might lose the HOH to the icons. That's fine. Uh, but now they have to make sure that they are playing like at this point, no more fan boy. No more, uh, middle, no more scared.

[00:53:20] You gotta be against the icons after this weekend. Right. And you need to play this week with that in mind, play up to the icons. Don't get targeted. Let Yash, Taylor, Haley, whoever it is, take the fall this week. Next week, you need to be ready. And, and that is the path they need to be on. And I'll be yelling at them anytime they're not on it. Um, so, uh, uh, Taylor talks to Mallory. Um, she says,

[00:53:50] uh, Hey, you should not be trusting drew and Barrett. This is part of their plan. They continue to want to like separate, um, melody and Mallory from, uh, drew and Barrett. Um, I think I said drew and Barrett. Uh, and, um, and this is now like, okay, this is where it gets a little trickier. Uh, it's like, I liked the idea of like, Hey, don't trust drew and Barrett. Uh, when they were hoping that they are side would win HOH,

[00:54:20] uh, uh, or maybe even trying to encourage melody, melody, melody to win HOH. Um, I think now it's like, okay, now we need to like be a little more careful about what exactly we're doing because we're likely to be nominated and we need to make sure that, uh, we are again, setting ourselves up for the following week. Um,

[00:54:43] is it still the right move to be anti drew and Barrett when ultimately we might need them or at least one of them? Um, and, uh, and yeah, maybe you don't have them right now, but I think what you want is for melody and Mallory instead of like, screw them, don't trust them, get rid of them. I think you want to be telling melody and Mallory, we need to, we need to pull melody.

[00:55:12] We need to pull drew. Okay. You need to be working on drew. Um, we need to pull them away. And then what that does as well is instead of you being the anti drew, whatever force. Now, if you convince them to try to pull drew and maybe Barrett, but I don't think Barrett's going anywhere. Uh, but now if melody and Mallory are the ones trying to pull Barrett and drew, then if it works, great, you've got a force. If it doesn't work,

[00:55:41] melody and Mallory are the ones that were doing it. Right. And they're the ones getting ratted out to the icons. Um, that's what I would like to see them do, but obviously they're still reeling from this whole situation and they're not going to be in a great position, uh, moving forward. So, uh, we'll see what happens, but that's kind of the, uh, the gist of what they're trying here. Yash joins and continues to lie and say that drew is blaming them. Um, and that drew and Barrett are slimy and so on and so forth. And, um, and, and again, it's at this position,

[00:56:11] it's at this point that I'm like, that's, let's just shift tracks just a little bit because D just won HOH. And now we've got a, now listen, they could do this with D herself and try to get D to turn on drew and Barrett. I don't think that's impossible either. I think that is certainly something that they could try to do. Um, it's just that like,

[00:56:31] I think ideally what should happen here is that Yash and Taylor need to kind of like get together and coordinate exactly like what the strategy needs to be, uh, to avoid one of them leaving this week, whether that means they have to throw melody and Mallory under the bus or, uh, or some kind of coordinated effort to get D to not trust drew and really drew. Um, that would be the, the ideal situation here, but, and it's going to be tough. Yeah, that is,

[00:57:01] it's going to be a tough mountain to climb anyway. Um, just looking at the makeup of the house and arrow, everything is getting these next steps in will require power and will require people, but most importantly, we'll require power. So for as long as the icon side has been in power, save last week. Um, and even then they took the power back with the time power veto, it's going to be a tough position to be in, but you got to keep the mind nimble. You got to keep working on those angles because you never know one HOH could, well, won't change the whole game, but it will at least start something.

[00:57:31] So, yes. So, um, there is, there is something here to this idea to the idea of maybe trying to turn, uh, D against drew. Obviously she has been suspicious of him in the past. Um, and you know, uh, they've full on gone after him in the past. She does talk and it's kind of like loose. It's kind of like not super serious, but she does talk to Devin's, uh,

[00:57:58] about like using this HOH to set themselves up moving forward, which is obviously what they should be doing and why winning HOH, even if you're not sure who you're allowed to put up as HOH, uh, is still good to have because it, it allows you to develop connections, pull people in and set yourself up for the future. And D has something that she can use specifically to do so. She still has her bride power, um,

[00:58:28] which is useless as she's found out when you're about to be nominated, but not useless when you're in power. And she's starting to recognize the potential power of her power that we have already been talking about, which is the idea that it can be used kind of as a contract. Um, and that now that she's HOH, she comes up with this idea. She's like, what if, hold on, what if I went to somebody like Drew and I said, Hey, Drew,

[00:58:57] will you take my $5,000 bribe to keep the icon safe for the rest of the game? Um, if that's allowed, she says, if that's allowed, I assume it's not allowed. No, I think it's at most stuck to a week. I have to imagine one cycle. That's it. I, you know, obviously that would be incredibly overpowered if it was allowed. Uh, but, uh, also like the wording of the note was like, you can make one deal,

[00:59:25] like a one time deal with one person. Essentially it was the vibe I got at least. Um, so I've, I've kind of assumed that obviously, uh, like you could make, that's why I was like, you could maybe make a single action. I think they said, yeah. in the, in the thing. So like you could say something that is like, Hey, at the final three, you must take me, uh, far in the future. It's a one action thing, but I don't think you can say, keep me safe for the rest of the game. Um, so, but she, she says if that were allowed, she would do something like that.

[00:59:55] Even if it's not allowed and it is more of a one-time thing, it's still something that you can use. You can be like, Hey, it probably something like, Hey, the next time you are HOH, keep me safe. Or the next time you're HOH, keep all three icons safe. Right. That might be within the rule set. Uh, and so her idea is you offer that kind of deal to somebody like Drew. If Drew says no, put them up. Right.

[01:00:23] So you can kind of like use this as a contract in a position where you have power over them, kind of forcing them to sign it. And then they are beholden to the contract that you have given to them. This then starts to become a much more powerful power. If you are able to sort of like use it in a clever way like that. Uh, and she is starting to think along those lines. Will she actually go through with this? Will they tell her it's not allowed? Those are other questions, but, uh, be wary because she's starting to think along these lines.

[01:00:53] Yeah. This is the only way the bribe actually could work in some capacity is when you are in a position of power and it's for a future week, not the current one, the current one, your mind's practically already made up. And the five grand, like the, you know, decided five grand wasn't worth it. And had the dime power of veto not been a thing, he would have never thought about taking the five grand anyway. Um, after the fact. So I guess that's the fine print. I would like to know about Taren because should you be able to, um, you know,

[01:01:21] make a deal for something that hasn't happened yet. I'm inclined to think yes, because you're also risking the idea that that deal never comes to fruition anyway, because the person might not even be there. So that's your risk that you're running. And here's the thing about this power too, uh, where you could get really tricky with it. I think is that like, if I like, cause I, I love loopholes. I love finding, I love that Yash figured out how to game the,

[01:01:52] uh, the Otev system, um, by stealing all of the, the, the, the tablets for one of the answers. Um, I think that was really clever of Yash. I think they should patch it in future Otev versions. Um, but I think he found the exploit and he used it and kudos to him. Um, so I've been thinking about this. Like you could absolutely theoretically, if you know, according to the current rule set, now they might just say like, Hey, we're, we can allow or disallow, but you could go to somebody like Yash right now as D as the H O H and say,

[01:02:22] Hey, Yash, the next time you're H, I'm going to bribe you to say the next time you're H O H, you cannot nominate any of the three icons. Um, and if you don't say yes, I will put you up. And if you do say yes, I won't put you up. Um, and, Yash might decide it's worth the risk because if he doesn't get put up this week, and you can say, I will put you up at all this. I'll keep you safe this week.

[01:02:51] And Yash might be like, it, it might be what I have to do, but here's the problem. The contract only works one way. And Yash might not realize that. And so you could, you could get him to, to accept the bribe, sign the contract, take the, take the token and then put them up anyway. And try to get him out. And even, and if he does, and then if he survives, he's now, he now cannot nominate you or any of the icons. Oh, that's ridiculous. Could you imagine? That is a loophole and a half. Cause like, Hey,

[01:03:20] no one said I have to do what it says. You have to do what it says. She's not beholden. She's offering him a bribe. She can say something comes along with it, but she's not beholden to any of that as part of that contract. Yo, that is messed up. Um, I, cause I see what, as you're building this up, all I'm thinking is of the other side of it, where if you're Yash, you're like, Oh my God, I got to win one soon because I want to burn it now and not have it be at the end game. Cause imagine you say yes. And then it's the final three. Like, what are you going to do then? Um,

[01:03:49] or is the final four? Like you're in a bit of a spot there. So yeah, that's menacing. That is absolutely menacing. What are you, I wonder if she'd be, she'd be told that she has to hold her side of the bargain. I don't, I mean, I, I, I think what she can't do is lie and say that she is beholden to it. She can't tell Yash that she is as beholden to it as her, but she can imply it by offering it as a deal, right? Like she can say, if you do this, I will do this.

[01:04:19] As long as she doesn't say, I will have to do it just like you have to do it. Then I think she's in the clear technically. Now I'm going by the, the, the laws that have been set in place already. I think the reality is that the producers kind of get to go actually, no, that's not how we want you to be able to use it. But you know, like, uh, according to the rules that have been set, D said to Devin's at one point that if somebody agrees, they do have to follow through and, and producers did not tell her to correct the record on that,

[01:04:49] which means that is true. Um, so, uh, we'll see. Yeah. It's, it's interesting because like, for me, the reason I think that might not be the, like, she wouldn't be allowed to do it is because how do you explain that to the, the regular viewer who is now like this game is rigged. What do you mean? She did that. And then got to put them up. That's nonsense. That, that, that, that, that, that's the only reason I think it's not possible, but could you imagine if it was, Ooh, if I'm Yash, honestly,

[01:05:19] I'm self evicting. What do you mean? The diamond power veto was used on my reign and took out my number one. And then this bribe got me on the block anyway. Now I can't retaliate. I would be fuming. I shaved my whole head to be clear, to be good. D has not come up with this idea. This is purely my invention. D is talking about doing this drew as like, Hey, keep us safe or I'll nominate you. We're talking loopholes, but yes, I, uh, it really got me, you know, it got me going. Uh,

[01:05:51] that's, it's, uh, people, people genuinely, uh, like to ask me questions like Tara, how would you break this game? And I, I, I like thinking about these things. Um, you were given an envelope. We left the room. We came back and you have a deadly weapon and we don't know how you got there, but yeah. Uh, so D and devins do agree. Yash is still the, is the target this week. Um, now, uh, Taylor, uh, is going to talk more with Mallory.

[01:06:21] Uh, she wants to, uh, she wants Mallory to lie to D kind of lie and tell her that drew wanted to keep common. So this is now a little more along the lines of something that should, that, that Taylor should kind of be looking at, right? the idea being that if they can get D to not trust drew enough, maybe they can get drew on the block this week. That would obviously be immensely good for them. Um,

[01:06:49] and the drew did technically say that he wanted to keep common. It was just lying. Um, now this is where some of drew's writing out should inoculate him from this. But as we know, drew's writing out all, uh, most of the time just makes him look sketchier. So there's a world where this could work, where if Mallory and melody goes to D go to D and say, listen, we were never waffling. Drew was the one waffling the whole time. I think she might believe them. Uh, so we'll see,

[01:07:19] but the conversation continues. I don't know how on board Mallory was with that idea. Uh, and ultimately they start talking about D and, uh, and Taylor says, listen, if you guys are stupid enough to let D make the final two, I'm voting for. Uh, and Mallory's like, no, no, I wouldn't vote for, I would never vote for an icon to win. Um, and Taylor says, well, it'd be all your faults. She makes it there. You're dumb. If you willingly sit next to her. Uh, so we've already kind of got this, uh, this conversation going.

[01:07:48] Mallory had previously talked about how she didn't want an icon to win. But I'd said, if the icon obviously played better than the person they were sitting next to, she still would give them the win. Now she is much more fervently anti-icon, at least when talking to Taylor. But Taylor is saying, listen, if you're sit, if she, if you let them make it there, I'm voting for him. Uh, so keep track of this conversation throughout the season, obviously as it evolves. Um, and then they also talk about the power and how there's no way Drew will get it.

[01:08:18] Mm. We'll see about that. Yeah. I, I quickly do want to talk on the icon, like Taylor saying, she would vote for an icon to me. Like if you let Devin's get to the end, I'm voting that man. Um, because this is a conversation I had with Morgan yesterday, actually, where I think this idea that like, Hey, they've had their time. It is our time is great in the moment to rally people, to not go against you and rather go against an icon.

[01:08:44] But what I think people don't realize is if you then choose to take them to the end, the longer they stay, the more it's like, why are they still here? Wow. They played you. They played all of you. I thought we were on this page. Matter of fact, I'm pissed off now. I will vote for them to win. I think too many people forget that stuff like that does not last. Um, and you should never factor that in. In fact, I think just factor it in as everyone's just a player. And if you don't want them in, you shouldn't keep them in. Uh,

[01:09:12] because I do think that eventually it goes long enough that you're like, Hmm, actually, how did they get here? I would vote for them. I think it's entirely like a lot of people switch their minds like that, especially if you then end up with two icons in the jury advocating for the third icon. I think that could ease a word. Literally watching the icons influence the game right now. Why wouldn't it happen later now? Yes. Uh, and, uh, you're never going to believe it. Tell me, please break some news. So you're about to break some news.

[01:09:42] You know how I, uh, I just outlined this whole scenario that D was because D is now starting to think along the lines of drew, uh, offering a bribe to drew and all that stuff. And then I said like, you know what she could do if she really wanted to do that. She's often offered about to Yash, keep her safe on the next HOH he won. Uh, but she hasn't mentioned that. She just mentioned that like right now on the feed. All right. Can you now say, uh, D should PayPal, Taryn and Pooja, $2,000 when she comes out of the house.

[01:10:11] Could you do that next? Because what do you, what do you mean that just happened? Uh, yeah. Uh, that she is, she is thinking about using the bribe on, uh, on a couple of different options. Maybe, maybe Mallory is another person she could do it too. Um, but she has come up with, uh, the, I think very valuable. I assume she asked production if she could do for the rest of the season. They said no. And then she asked, could I do for their next HOH? And then they said probably yes. That's my assumption here.

[01:10:41] Cause now she's talking about on their next HOH. Um, and, uh, and so they are now considering this idea. Obviously, um, you know, uh, my more devious way of doing it, which is we won't put you up, uh, or whatever. Um, I don't know if they're talking about that. Uh, there are easier ways to do it. Like, Hey, we'll get the votes to keep you, uh, or, you know, whatever else. Um, apparently yes, she confirmed that she did talk to production. There you go. Um,

[01:11:12] so, uh, so yeah, uh, she has now figured out the most, I think effective way of using this power and will likely try to use it. Uh, so we'll see how that goes. Um, and, uh, we'll see if it works. If she's able to approach them in the right way and, uh, and kind of get, uh, get them to, uh, to accept the bribe, then this could be very valuable. Uh, and it does, it takes an entire player off the board as, uh, an HOH threat, especially as we get down, there will be 10 players left after this week,

[01:11:40] nine of them competing in the HOH, uh, and only a certain amount of them going after the icons in the first place. And so, taking one of them off the board, especially the one of the more, uh, powerful or, uh, competitive players could be very, very valuable. Uh, so we'll see how that goes. Yeah. Well, I didn't see how that plays out. And Taryn, can we quickly talk about speaking of the final power of the time capsule? Can we remind everybody, myself included, what are the options on the board for whoever gets selected to go in tonight? Uh,

[01:12:10] guest veto, uh, alumni comes in. This is the thing Keanu won. And Casey came in and won the veto for him. Uh, if I'm remembering correctly, the guest replaces one of the players. So it's still six. Uh, is it like a champion situation? I think cause Keanu still competed, right? It was still Keanu and Casey in the competition. Or am I wrong? Oh, I think, I think, I think Casey just took the spot of one of the two people that would have been, Oh no, she did replace Keanu. Keanu.

[01:12:40] Okay. See, I actually don't like that. No, they're saying the guests. Okay. Now, now everyone's saying different information. Oh, okay. No. Keanu did play. Yeah. We would have, cause I would have remembered that. Cause we would have been like, wouldn't it have been better for Keanu to also compete? Like he would have been good at this. So no, no, no. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Both play both play. Yeah. Yeah. Seven players. People are saying they definitely replaced. And then other people are saying, no, it was definitely seven players. Or did Keanu get eliminated early? Is that why people are remembering this different?

[01:13:10] Listen, either way, I think the point is that they, they, they are added to the competition in one way or another. And so, so this is a, this is purely a good thing. It adds an extra player into the veto for you. So you can still win it or your champion can win it. And so there, that's, that's a very good thing. There's the, the replay, HOH thing where you can win two HOHs back to back, which is, I think a terrible power for the show primarily.

[01:13:39] But also not a great one just for like the game. Like obviously Yash could have used it this week, but like, that it's usually a pretty niche scenario where you need to use it like that. Then you have the never not pass. You know, there are have nots this week. It's Taylor, Lala, Mallory. But it's like, and then, uh, the coin, the coin of destiny or whatever it's called. Destiny. Destiny. Um, it's a, you flip the coin,

[01:14:09] see if you can overtake the HOH. Uh, that's, and listen, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna say I told you so, but I was saying that I personally would maybe prefer a Taylor vote this week. Now, now, now, now, now Kamu's gone. And everyone's like, oh, we can't give it to Taylor because of Kamu. Now Kamu's gone. And look who needs it. Uh-oh. Um, but, uh, we'll see. Listen, I still think there's hope. Um,

[01:14:39] D and Devins talk some more at night. Uh, and she says that she, again, would prefer to backdoor Yash, but, uh, she just can't put up Haley and she can't really put up anyone from the mosh pit, uh, at least yet. Um, so she'll think about it more tomorrow. She'll have some conversations, but they do both talk about being concerned about Mallory, how much time she spent with Yash and Taylor all week, but not just that,

[01:15:06] how much time she's currently still spending with Yash and Taylor post eviction. Um, like even tonight, she's spending all of her time with Yash and Taylor and that's a huge red flag. And so I think Mallory needs to be very concerned about a potential renom. Um, especially with Yash competing in the veto, uh, and Taylor competing in the veto. One of them winning, even Lala winning, um,

[01:15:33] Lala winning wouldn't be as bad for Mallory because I think Taylor and Yash would stay above her on the pecking order. But like if Yash wins the veto and Mallory's the renom and then Taylor wins the blockbuster, are they voting out Lala over Mallory? I don't know. I wouldn't, I wouldn't. Um, so, uh, so we'll see about that. Um, D does tell the cameras, uh, later into the night that Angela and Devins are her priority. Drew and Barrett after that,

[01:16:03] though she doesn't fully trust Drew. Um, and she is sketched out by Malady and Mallory. She wants to use the week to pull them in, uh, and prioritizing targeting the people that she knows are coming after her, but she, they are on her radar and they never had to be. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. I have nothing else to add to that specifically. There you go. Uh, okay. I think we've, we've talked, uh, plenty about, uh,

[01:16:33] all this stuff, but, uh, any other events, any other, uh, points to make from yesterday? Um, no. Cause I did want to bring up the, the, I'm not going to vote for, I will vote for an icon, but then that came up organically. So I think, uh, I'm up to speed. I'm ready. I'm excited to see what this final one is. Can I, okay. I know that for this, especially not the, the icons one. Um, I know that obviously the manifesting is, is Taylor gets it. Um, if drew gets it, it does feel moot, but if drew gets it, can I say what I'm hoping for?

[01:17:02] I'm hoping he gets the red unitard. That's what I'm hoping for. I'm going to be so, sad if we never get the, cause cause I mean, I don't think we need any more power. No, I, is drew going to get the coin of destiny and use it against the icons at this point? I kind of doubt it. Um, uh, maybe, but I kind of doubt it. Um, and I just, I think we, I, I think the unitard. Yeah. Lord, Lord of the latrine was great.

[01:17:32] I think, uh, we didn't need it a second time. Uh, the eaves, we definitely didn't need, uh, I would have taken the unitard. Yeah, I agree. I hope that in the event that the unitard does not get selected here, it ends up in the eventual Yankee swamps. I would hope that it makes its comeback there. That would be great. Yeah, that's a good point. Um, all right, then that is what we have for you today for this update. I will be back tomorrow morning,
