Big Brother 28 delivers another unpredictable day as the house wrestles with the fallout from a blindside vote almost happening and a new HoH throwing alliances into chaos. Taran Armstrong brings on Pooya for a live feed update episode, dissecting the latest power […]

[00:00:11] Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday. All the strategy and silliness from F.O. to H.O.A. Every single season, you know he is the reason, you know that he could do it tomorrow.

[00:00:41] Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our Live Feed Update for August 14th. I'm your host, Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 Live Feeds. It was day 38 in the house and we had a last minute vote flip blindside plan. We had an eviction.

[00:01:08] We have a new H.O.H. with all kinds of new nominations planned for some big ramifications in the house. And and we've even got people arguing already. So plenty to talk about here today and with me to talk about it. It's Booyah. How are you doing Booyah?

[00:01:30] I'm doing good. I got some good sleep last night. So I am ready to talk. I'm energized. And let's let's let everyone in on what's going on. Let's bring him in on this. Let's let's do it. OK, so as you all know, Lala was the H.O.H. She had Barrett, Chuck and Haley on the block. The plan had been for Haley to be evicted, but there were a lot of rumblings of potentially keeping Haley back and forth.

[00:01:59] Lots of different things going on. But. Through the day on Thursday, we had some other things going on, primarily being a vote flip. But before we get to that, there's another thing that has some important ramifications. The day is pretty choppy in terms of like the feeds being on and then also one of the most important things of the day happening during an H.O.H. lockdown.

[00:02:25] So apparently while the feeds were down for a lockdown, Angela, who had been trying to reconnect with Haley, they'd been talking about potentially keeping Haley this week, was a little too like nice and friendly with Haley in the lockdown during the lockdown.

[00:02:50] Maybe there was a hug involved. There was some like they were too close and H.O.H. lockdown, by the way, for those asking is when they all sit up in the H.O.H., they're supposed to kind of like not talk much. No game, no game, just kind of sit there in the H.O.H. room while they're like doing stuff down in the house. And so while this was happening, Lala was watching and given given Angela the stink eye.

[00:03:21] And it made Angela cry that she felt like she's in between her friends, like, oh, I can't be friendly with Haley and or Lala is going to hate me and so on and so forth. And so Angela cries because Lala has given her the stink eye. And that makes Haley feel like, hey, Lala is bullying Angela. Now she bullied me and now she's bullying Angela and Angela bullied me. But then Lala bullied her back.

[00:03:48] And and I'm the real victim. But now Lala is the real bully. And this is very relevant, of course, to what's literally happening right now because they're getting into it, apparently, because they have no respect for the live feed update. OK, but so this happens and it causes quite a big scene. Everyone is aware of this. And and Angela does talk to Lala about it afterward.

[00:04:16] And they, you know, seemingly make something of an amends kind of conversation. But but this reverberates through the house for the entire day. And as you can tell that I'm talking about into the morning right now. Yeah, the word bully honestly carries a lot of storylines, narratives, rivalries and and information that we purse through every year.

[00:04:43] Every year this word has a lot of power and I'm exhausted because I don't love when this is the the main part of a storyline. Yeah, well, that happens. And through that happening, D is or sorry, before we get to the flip flip, one more thing. Of course, as you all know, we talked about this before.

[00:05:09] Drew had a conversation with Barrett and Devens and D where they leaked the FAP name. They're not allowed to even say FAP, by the way. Not allowed to say FAP. They leaked the FAP name and and Drew also inadvertently told D that she was a potential renom for Mallory. Then D went to Mallory and said, hey, Drew told me I'm a renom for you. What's up with that?

[00:05:39] Mallory talked to Melody about it. And they were like, Drew, so sketch. This is so annoying. Then she questioned Barrett about it, who warned Drew, who then planned to talk to Mallory about it the following day. He, of course, did have that conversation. Mallory questions Drew about it and is like, hey, what's up with this? Did you tell D that I was going to nominate her?

[00:06:02] And Drew basically just denies it outright, says she was having a conversation with me because she was worried that you might renom her or something along those lines. And I said she didn't have to worry. And so like basically just trying to make it seem like it was more of a fishing attempt than anything else. Mallory seems to accept this explanation and it's all kind of smoothed over.

[00:06:24] But, you know, just one of many examples of D being a bit messier than she needs to be, not really necessarily having the effect that she might want ultimately. And that gets us to her then wanting to flip this vote at the last minute in a blind side. She talks to Angela. She says, Haley is loyal. Maybe she's a bitch, but she's a loyal bitch. And so it's like, yeah, maybe.

[00:06:53] But who is she loyal to, D? Because I don't think you've like she did have a conversation with her that day, but not much. So D instructs Angela to stay close to Lala all day so that she doesn't get any heat for this. And in the meantime, they're going to work on the votes to to flip so that Haley stays over Chuck. She's already talked to Drew and Barrett and they are down for it. They talk. They're like, yeah, I guess this is fine.

[00:07:23] But Drew wants to make sure the vets lead the charge on this. He doesn't want any part of it, which was smart from Drew. And there's a plan to even bring Kamu in on this vote. But we don't see most of this because it's all happening while the feeds are down. The point is that D has initiated another one of these things, which we've talked about like for the last few days is like certainly not a good idea in almost any way.

[00:07:50] Yeah, I mean, this is one of those things we talked about this even with the blind side last week, right? Where we said this is bad for your game fun for us. So, again, advocating for the fun for us part. Now, if you're a fan of D, you should get a little nervous about stuff like this because you're using a lot of social capital. Yeah, it's a lot of social capital to do it twice. So the ramifications, the fact that there's already been dialogue about the icons not having been nominated.

[00:08:18] You don't want more spotlight on you than you already have. You don't want this to get back to you. Yeah, it's this was like I like we said last week. Last week was not a not the correct decision, but they had so much runway. They had so much space to screw up that it wasn't likely going to have a major impact on their game. And it did have a pretty big one, but they managed to recover and get themselves back into a good position.

[00:08:45] Doing it again just one week later in a spot where keeping Haley isn't even good for you. Haley's not a good person for you to have in this game necessarily. You know, Haley or Chuck, who really cares? And the and as we found out in the eviction episode, the situation didn't even happen. They didn't even need to do any of it. But the fact that they were not only going to flip this vote, but do so again in a blindside.

[00:09:14] I think I literally said before the episode on stream, I was like the fact that they're going to approach Kamu and say, hey, we're going to make this a blindside is going to give him like PTSD from the previous week. Like flashbacks of like, oh, this is exactly what they did last week. And I don't want to spoil anything, but that might have been his response a little bit. Yeah.

[00:09:41] So just it's just bad news here. They should not have been doing this. I think also depending on who the type of player is that you're proposing something like this to, it might work, right? They're like, oh, I'm in the in club now. Lovely. Let me go with that. But I think PTSD is a good word to use for Kamu because not only did he lose Lyric, we did not anticipate losing who he was close with. But also he felt ostracized. He felt blindsided. He felt unsure for like a whole week until he finds his footing and like resets himself.

[00:10:10] So to then hear, oh, you're going to do this again. I think the empathy goes a long way of like, I didn't like that happening the first time. So why would I be liking it now? Well, it's also like it's he this is not a flip that he wants. Like for him to flip and blindside Yash and Taylor and Lala, people that he is working closely with right now. Right. Not good news for him. Why would he be happy about this? Like this is bad news all around.

[00:10:38] So he is obviously not going to be super pleased about this. Now, the fact that it doesn't end up happening, I think helps. But the fact that it could have happened is dangerous. Another thing that helps is that Lala doing this to Angela, making her cry, making this big deal of it does provide a little bit of cover for a vote flip to have almost happened. So we'll talk about that as we move forward. We get to the eviction vote.

[00:11:08] And of course, as as we all saw, Haley won the blockbuster. Chuck was evicted over Barrett nine to one. Chuck now joins the list of the fallen here that began with Rachel. And and we get this sort of like no man's land in between the eviction and the HOH. We get some fallout from what's been going on.

[00:11:37] And there's a lot of talk about the dude that was yelling this guy. Apple and win this competition. Congratulations. And you are now officially off. It has Haley convinced, as we talked about last night, that she's getting a power.

[00:12:02] Uh, the audience saw me getting bullied. That was the main storyline of the week. Give me my power. It's coming home. Uh, and, uh, and that is what she is really focused on here, uh, for a bunch of the night. Um, and, and everyone talks about like, even like melody is like, oh man, she might get a power.

[00:12:31] I guess that guy was cheering. Yeah, we were doing the bingo card last night. And then someone had suggested like, um, Haley gets booed, uh, if she's to leave. And then we've talked about how they don't let them do that anymore. I thought, should you be allowed to pop off like this? Or should it be a little bit more neutral tone the whole way through? What do we think? Uh, I mean, I, I would assume this guy got in trouble. I think apparently he posted something. Uh, I saw a TikTok about it. I saw a TikTok of the guy. I didn't watch it.

[00:13:01] So I don't know if he mentioned that he got in trouble for it, but I would have, I would imagine that they would have been like, Hey, you're not, please don't do that. Hmm. Um, but who knows? Oh, well, um, so Haley talks to Angela, uh, and Angela apologizes again for the whole situation. Uh, she says, but I didn't say, trust your gut.

[00:13:26] And Haley's like, it might not have been those exact words, but that is what you made me feel. I felt like you were telling me something along those lines, which, uh, is pretty much what we sort of expected to be at the heart of this argument. Um, so, uh, she says, I was pretty hurt by you and D Haley's line throughout the night is, you know,

[00:13:50] when I was feeling upset, all the men checked in on me, you know, all the men made sure I was okay. And all the women were icing me out, you know, Angela, Dee, Taylor, Lala, they were the ones icing me out while all the men were checking in on me. Love those men, huh? The men are great. Mm-hmm.

[00:14:16] I have not much to add to this, but this is actively an observation that she has had. So, it is.

[00:14:51] Mach's dir Indeed einfach. Jetzt auf indeed.de slash recruiting. Angela apologizes, uh, again, because of what happened earlier in the day, they're really able to paint Lala as the scapegoat for as much of what happened the previous week as possible. Um, and Haley says, Lala is a horrible person for being mad at Angela for everything that she did that week.

[00:15:18] Like, Lala is such a bully, which again is, is, is, is popping up again this morning. Um, and Angela talks about, uh, also how Kamu was, because this has been going around that Kamu spread that he brought Angela up into the, into the gym when she had the argument FFFBBB with Haley. And, uh, and he did that on purpose because he knew she would pop off to make good TV.

[00:15:45] Angela talks about this and Haley denies that it was Kamu that wanted her up there in the first place, instead blaming D for it. Uh, and this is the, the missing link for, for D here who had been trying to flip the vote to keep Haley, but never actually spent time talking to Haley and making sure she was actually good with Haley. Haley is pretty anti D has been for a little while. Now, if she were to win this HOH, who really knows what she would do, uh, because she doesn't really have any friends.

[00:16:15] Um, but this is another like spot where yeah, Angela's here trying to make sure she repairs her relationship with Haley. But where is D not talking to Haley? Uh, the people who are making sure they're good with Haley are Angela. And we'll talk about it. Kamu, uh, as well as true to some degree and Taylor. Uh, but Kamu spends some of the most amount of time with her. Uh, really the rest of this time is spent with Haley who does talk to Drew.

[00:16:42] Um, she is not the first one to do this last night. Uh, talking to Drew more about her HOH week and how there were people in the tool shed that were pushing for him to go up on the block and that were pushing for him to leave because they were annoyed how much he was bouncing around. Um, now every time this happens, people freak out. They're like, whoa, they're leaking it to Drew. They're telling Drew that the vets wanted him gone. Uh, they're, they're, they're telling him.

[00:17:12] But the reality is that they're not really doing that. Usually this comes up in passing. Uh, Kamu's going to talk about it later. And it's just part of his story that he's telling about his journey. Uh, and Haley's talking about like, just trying to give true advice, like stop bouncing around because people don't like it. Uh, they're not trying to necessarily throw anyone under the bus or change Drew's mind about how he felt about the Alliance or anything like that. In fact, when he questions them, they're like, oh, it wasn't a big deal.

[00:17:42] Don't worry about it. So, uh, uh, don't, don't fall for the headlines. I guess, uh, if you heard, if you heard about this stuff, uh, because it, while I do think it's like certainly information for Drew to take in, it's not like pointed. I'm trying to make you realize that you were, you were going to get screwed over kind of stuff. Um, however, throughout the night, Haley continues to say that the only person she trusts in the game right now is Yash because he's the only one that was straight up with her, both with

[00:18:10] the vote, uh, for Lyric. And then all week long, he's been like chatting with her, you know, doing his Yash thing, pretending that he's on her side. Um, so, uh, worth noting. Yeah. Keep that one in mind because it could go somewhere to really quickly touch on the drew stuff as well. I feel like stuff like that might not, it's one of those things where, especially I feel like in this bubble pre HOH stuff, it always feels like this is information that could matter,

[00:18:37] but also could just not matter depending on who wins and depending on what the headlines are going into this HOH train. So it could come into play later. Um, just depends on how much people stoke the flames or if drew starts to percolate on stuff like that more. But as of right now, it's just, it's just, um, code that's not been decrypted is the way I see it. Yes. Uh, Haley also talks to Taylor because she's curious about what was going on with this vote flip.

[00:19:07] Uh, Taylor was apparently involved in the vote flip. Uh, again, we missed a lot of this. I have to imagine that a good portion of it should be included in Sunday's episode. So we're actually going to be a little bit reliant on that. But, uh, but apparently Taylor was involved, uh, in some capacity and, uh, perhaps they went to Kamu and Kamu went to Taylor and Taylor actually got on board or something. I'm not entirely sure exactly.

[00:19:35] I did not follow this thread closely enough. Uh, if the, if the information was there, but, uh, because honestly, it's not like that important at this moment, but, um, but Taylor is like, yeah, it was happening because of Lala. Uh, and she's fully trying to distance herself from Lala. Like, yeah, Lala went way overboard. Uh, everybody saw what she was doing. They wanted to flip the vote because of that. Uh, because they didn't support what Lala was doing and I don't support what Lala was doing.

[00:20:05] Uh, so on and so forth. This is going to be Taylor's line, not just to Haley, but pretty much to anyone she talks to throughout the night. Um, and, uh, and later talks to Lala about like, Hey, you need to chill in front of other people. Like you can act that way in front of me, but you can't do that with other people. So, um, I was just like, man, we missed a lot. Like what is going on? Yeah. Like you said, I think the Sunday episode is going to really have to give us a helping

[00:20:33] hand in what some of this stuff is. Um, but I do think that especially, obviously we don't know the full extent of it because we are here, but whatever has happened in the last like 30 or so minutes this morning, I think is more proof that Lala might need to chill a little bit on that because ultimately if you start doing stuff like this, your allies or people that are working with you may not want to be as close with that or want to disassociate, especially when you are not the HOH anymore. Yes.

[00:21:02] So we finally get to the HOH competition. And what's interesting is they were prepping for it. Uh, they were specifically drew was talking to like Devin's and D about like, Hey, this might be the knockout comp. If it is, we need to start prepping for who we're picking for the knockout comp because you don't want to make dumb decisions and pick your allies in the knockout comp.

[00:21:31] You want to make sure you're picking the right people. Um, and D is like, Oh, I'll, I'll pick Kamu and Yash. And she was like, yeah, like that would be good. Like, don't, don't pick me and Devin's. Um, so, uh, turns out, as I said, it's the knockout comp and, uh, we don't know exactly how this went. So I don't want to, I don't want to tell you that like, we we've locked this in, but I

[00:21:59] think we have like some rough guesses for, uh, who picked who, uh, at what point. Um, so I think actually that, that right away, Kamu and Yash actually did end up almost, I think they got randomly drawn, uh, potentially against each other. Kamu was out early. Um, and, uh, and Yash ends up, you know, picking like something like Angela, Melody, and then

[00:22:25] Melody, uh, wins and picks, uh, Taylor and Haley, and then Taylor wins and picks Drew and Devin's, uh, and then Devin's wins and picks Taylor. And this is what was confusing that there's a chance here that Devin's picked D. Yeah. And then D picked Devin's. Uh, so like the Devin's might've picked like D versus Taylor, uh, and then D wins and picks

[00:22:55] Devin's versus Melody. And it's just like, if this is true, what in the world is happening? Yeah. Cause I do think that obviously when you get to pick both the competitors, um, the strategy is just pick people that you are not aligned with to face people that you are not aligned with and make them eliminate each other. Cause you're guaranteed to eliminate. Don't pick a champion to go against someone else. Cause that's still a 50 50. Yeah.

[00:23:25] So I, like I said, we don't know for sure. There was some talk about like, didn't, didn't D picked Evans or vice versa, or could it have happened both times? Like either way, they were given information, very solid information that there were people in this game that were talking about targeting the icons.

[00:23:46] Uh, and they seemingly actively did not try to target those people in the knockout competition. I'm not going to, I'm not going to go off too much because we don't know for sure exactly how this went down. Do it anyway. Certainly feels pretty bad. Uh, because basically, uh, by the end of it, you know, we have, uh, by the end of the,

[00:24:16] the, the game, Barrett has gone like once Barrett barely chosen to compete. And Yash has only gone like twice, uh, because he's barely been chosen to compete and they up end up in the finals together. Yash and Barrett. So Barrett, uh, of course in a, in a top two once again, um, but does not win. Yash becomes the new head of household.

[00:24:43] And this is genuinely the absolute worst case scenario for the vets bar none. And they have just fully allowed this to happen in so many different ways between trying to orchestrate the vote flip before the vote and leaving Yash out of it for a second time, seemingly not picking Yash anytime they could in the knockout competition, despite

[00:25:12] having been told concrete information about how Yash is one of the most, I guess they don't know if he's one of the most, but that Yash was in on an anti vet conversation and did not tell them about it. Uh, and, uh, and here we go. Yash is the winner. Now Yash is the HOH does not necessarily mean the vets are doomed. Obviously diamond power, veto, uh, bribe power.

[00:25:36] And Yash was just talking to Kamu about targeting FAP as well, uh, that he wants the icons gone, but he also wants FAP gone. He wants one, uh, at least one from both of those groups gone before jury. And there is a world where going after FAP is a little bit easier, uh, with less friction than going after the icons. Uh, and so there's certainly the possibility that that could happen, especially if Kamu

[00:26:04] is pushing for the icons to be safe because he's working closely with the icons. Unless he's mad about a vote flip that they tried to pull off that day. Not looking good. Yeah, everybody. Welcome to the man cave. Uh, Yash is hosting a party here. Would like all of you to show up. Um, I can't wait to see this comp. I can't wait to see this comp on, on the show, which, you know, is something you'd never hear

[00:26:29] me say I'm not really there for the concept of the other stuff, but I really want to see this battle because I do think that you get a lot of information. I think the house gets, get a lot of breadcrumbs during this kind of competition as well. Like who picked who and why would they do that? Um, the idea that Yash was one of the starters on random draw and only went twice is funny to me because he should have been going a lot more times than just two times. Uh, and then Barrett going once kind of makes sense.

[00:26:56] I think that to me makes absolute sense there given where he's positioned with everything, but we got to talk about who potentially could be seeing the block tearing. Cause I do think that's what matters more than anything now. Yes. And I think that, uh, even before we get to Yash's actual plan, which we, of course we'll get to, um, the, the, I think the obvious, um, contenders for like possibilities would

[00:27:23] be, I think Haley seeing the block makes a ton of sense for many reasons. Um, and then it could be something like Haley drew and Barrett Haley, Angela, who has been talked about by both Yash and Kamu as a potential pawn to put up on the block. Uh, so Haley, Angela and drew or Haley, Angela, Barrett or Haley, Angela, uh, you know, um,

[00:27:52] Mallory or melody, maybe drew and melody on the block with Haley to split them up because Yash has wanted to split them up. Um, there's a lot of different potential combinations you could think of here. Of course, if he wanted to go full anti icon, he could just go Devins D Angela. It's unlikely because he's in multiple alliances with both Devins and, uh, D but if he does

[00:28:18] want, uh, you know, at least one icon on the block, Angela makes the most amount of sense. Haley again as like, uh, well, I'm doing what everyone wants and she's the theoretical target. Um, and, uh, and so, you know, there's, there's a lot of different worlds, uh, here and, and the main thing is like the vets are far from safe here. Again, I think that Taylor and Yash were basically the only two people they needed to worry about

[00:28:47] coming into this week. Yash even more worrisome than Taylor, uh, quite frankly. Um, and, uh, and although if they activated Kamu again, they might've needed to worry about him as well. Uh, but we don't know whether Kamu has been activated yet. He has been active, but we don't know at this point if he's been activated yet. So, uh, so that might've been a thing as well. So, so those are the, some of the possibilities that I think we're, we're thinking about here.

[00:29:14] Um, Lala and Taylor, when they do have their conversation, uh, you know, they think they're good, like Yash will keep them safe this week. So, uh, you know, Taylor advises Lala to, to try to stay chill and lay low. Um, and that apparently is not quite happening yet. Um, then, uh, Barrett tries to warn D again, cause he's like, Barrett's the one who helped bring this information to D and Devens in the first place.

[00:29:44] Yash was up in that HOH room with a lot when Lala was talking about nominating the icons. Like, I think you should be worried. And D's like, I think I'm good. I think I'm good. In fact, she celebrates with Devens, uh, like we're solid Wolfpack. Like we're going to be fine. Um, she says to Barrett, she won't be throwing anyone under the bus this week. She doesn't think, doesn't think she has to even drew. She won't even throw drew under the bus this week.

[00:30:12] Uh, and Barrett's like, well, you did, you didn't just kind of throw him under the bus with Mallory. Like he wasn't super pleased about you telling Mallory that she was going to renom you. Uh, and she's like, Oh, I was just trying to blur lines. What are you? I was trying to blur lines. He's like, ah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure. Yeah. Drew doesn't get that. I get that. Right. Can I ask you a question?

[00:30:38] Um, given the last week and like you've, you've watched all the tapes closely and gotten to talk about the tapes even closer early. Um, have D and Devens done enough work with Yash to feel comfortable about their alliance with Yash? Or is this more of a, well, we do have that alliance, so we should be fine. Um, I, I see why they think they're fine, which is that number one, things have been really going their way all this time.

[00:31:06] Like this is hubris, potentially the first taste of adversity they're going to, they're going to face. Um, but in addition to that, I mean, Devens in particular is in the primaries with Yash now he's in the Wolfpack with Yash. He's in the Bermuda triangle with Yash. Uh, Devens has many reasons to feel very good with Yash. Uh, D who was, uh, brought into the Wolfpack, uh, has that connection to Yash.

[00:31:33] And I think through that connection, her own relationship that she feels decent about and like Devens vouching for her feels like she should be good as well. But what they're not understanding is that like, and this is why Drew and Barrett were so valuable as rats is that they were bringing them proper information. The Dapper Dans too. Yeah, sure. The Dapper Dans have been dead for a while. Uh, that they have been bringing information.

[00:32:00] Uh, and the information said, don't trust Yash. And D was like, yeah, we shouldn't trust Yash. We should want Yash out. But I think that like, there is a blind optimism that is coming from Devens and D that it works on Kamu. It works on Yash that they just feel like they're going to be fine. Which is why D feels so comfortable flipping these votes, doing whatever she wants. They've just been so powerful in this game that I think they've gotten to the point where

[00:32:27] they really do think that like, nobody's going to touch them. Um, and so here we go. Yash is the HOH. We're going to be fine. Um, they're, they're not going to be fine. I mean, they are going to be fine because they've got a diamond power. Um, but you know, yeah, I will say my, that was more so my question would have been for D because if I got the haircut of the dude who won the HOH, I would also feel like he's probably not going to put me up.

[00:32:53] Like I just, like that is next level glaze from Devens to have the, the Yash cut now, uh, moving forward. PP comes through. Wow. Throwback. Throwback. Stress. I felt a lot of things with that. Oh man. I have too much of my brain dedicated to this show. Um, so, uh, Angela talks to Barrett and Drew.

[00:33:20] Angela is rightly concerned that the vets could be in trouble here. And, uh, and Barrett and Drew are annoyed primarily that like, this means another week where Kamu is going to be fine, uh, that Yash is going to protect Kamu. Uh, and that's very frustrating. Um, Haley and Taylor talk more. She continues to talk about how the men checked in with her and the women iced her out. She's still talking about that. Um, Drew talks to Kamu and this is when we really start to get to the meat and potatoes

[00:33:50] of the night. Uh, the, uh, what was it? To, to tomatoes and cucumbers of the night. Um, so, uh, Drew talks to Kamu. Kamu says he thinks Angela will go up. That's a good call. That's what we were thinking. That's what I was thinking. Um, as a possibility, at least, uh, he says maybe Barrett, maybe Haley, maybe Mallory. These are the options that Kamu is kind of assuming. Um, he tells Drew that he talks to Haley.

[00:34:20] Um, so Kamu's conversation with Haley, uh, I think I mentioned it was before, uh, the HOH competition. Um, I think I mentioned it, but then I don't think I went into it as much as I should have. Uh, Kamu talked to Haley and, um, he explained to her everything that happened. This is before the HOH competition. Um, he explained that, uh, like when he was about to go on the block, he threw Chuck under the bus.

[00:34:49] And this conversation is so interesting to me because I think there's the meta narrative that I want to be telling. I think this week in particular is that the vets came in, they had all these advantages. They had all these powers. They have guaranteed first HOH. And on top of all of that, they had so much more experience than all of these other players. And they were running circles around them. We talked about that for the first few weeks and they started to get complacent and they were messy along the way.

[00:35:18] And they got messier and messier, the more complacent they got. And as they got messier, the players were learning. Um, and a player like Yash, who was completely clueless in his first week is now here in week six in HOH and has much, a much better grasp of the game because he has six weeks of experience now. And Kamu is another player like Drew and Drew and Barrett slowly learning that they shouldn't be routing out their allies as much.

[00:35:45] Uh, and Kamu certainly has been learning over the course of these weeks, especially because he keeps getting taught lessons by the vets, blind sides, being left out of things, throwing people under the bus. He saw how, how like it worked with Lyric throwing her allies under the bus. He's learned how to do that better. And his conversation with D where D explained why she blindsided him by saying, Hey, your connection to Haley made me concerned, uh, and made everyone concerned. That's why we didn't tell you. And it worked on him.

[00:36:16] And so when he talks to Haley about why he didn't use the veto to save them and why he needed to throw Chuck under the bus, he says, Oh wait, if this worked on me, Haley, you were just too close to Chuck. Chuck was the cause of everything. He was, he was doing all this stuff. He was trying to play me and Yash against each other. Uh, and you were so close to him and I, I, I really still liked you, but you were so close

[00:36:45] to Chuck that like, you know, I, I threw Chuck and I didn't throw you under the bus. I threw Chuck under the bus. Uh, and, and it's, it's all Chuck's fault. And just like it kind of worked on him. I think it kind of works on Haley. Um, and so, uh, so he has this long conversation with Haley. Um, this is when Haley learns that Yash was part of all of this. And so she's a little bit skeptical, but then of course Yash goes on to win the HOH.

[00:37:13] And so now she's like, no, I still definitely trust Yash. Um, for now. Uh, but in this conversations, when we learn, because Haley is still pretty anti D we learned that Kamu is also pretty upset about what happened that day when it came to D and that he is also kind of looking at D sideways. Uh, and this is of course important to know moving forward into the day. So flash forward back to Drew and Kamu talking. Cause, uh, we need to flash back to that Kamu Haley conversation.

[00:37:41] Um, he tells Drew about the conversation. He says, I had a great conversation with Haley, reconnected with her, told her the story of my game. And then he tells Drew the story of his game as well. Later in the day that we'll, I've already sort of, uh, referred to, um, Drew talks about feeling good with Yash. Uh, and Drew tells his own story, which is I've been spending the whole week trying to distance myself from Barrett, Mallory and Malady. I don't want to be seen as locked in with a group, uh, with them.

[00:38:11] Um, and, uh, and this is the right kind of distancing yourself saying that you want to distance yourself instead of showing that you're distanced by, uh, by ratting them out. Right. Like, uh, in this instance, tell don't show, like, yeah, say you were trying to distance yourself despite the fact that you were locked in with them, uh, when they had their punishment and basically spent all of your time with them last week, say that you were not. And then maybe people will just believe it's true.

[00:38:42] If you believe something hard enough and you repeat it more enough times, it might stick possible. It's, it's a lot better than saying, Hey, yeah, Mallory is coming after you. Just so you know, so just so you knew that I'm not close to her. I'm going to rat her out to you right now. I mean, um, this store, this has been his story, right? The whole, like, if people are comfortable talking smack about me to you, that means you may be talking smack about me to them. That might mean I can't trust you because you have a lot of information now.

[00:39:11] I think there's a lot of things that can go wrong when you open up like that. Yes. So. Kamu finally has a chance to talk to Yash and he says, what are you thinking, Yash? And Yash says, here's what I'm thinking. Haley. Yeah. Angela. Okay. And D.

[00:39:40] That's what I'm thinking. Uh, oh, okay. All right. We're doing it. We're really, I mean, we're close to doing it. Devon's on the block would be way better for him. He doesn't realize that, but it would be way better for him. Uh, he says D is a pawn for him, uh, in this conversation. Um, in his mind, Haley. And remember the summit, the conversation has been for the week. It's Haley first, then Chuck, then the icons.

[00:40:10] And then in Yash's mind, then FAP. Um, and then they thought about if Haley leaves, maybe we spare Chuck. We go icons first and then FAP and Chuck can be whatever. But because Haley's still there and Yash is still close to Taylor and Lala, Taylor and Lala still have a big Haley shaped problem in their lives. Uh, doing the thing that in Yash's mind, the whole house wants, which is putting Haley on the block makes a lot of sense.

[00:40:35] And then it also allows him to protect Devon's who he feels closer to than D and Angela. And another part of this that we'll get to is that, um, they're all women. Uh, and that's not me saying that that's no saying that that's an active thing that he wants to make sure that he's doing. Um, so, uh, they, uh, he says, this is easy.

[00:41:02] Haley or Angela and D, they didn't bring me in on the vote flip, either vote flip. Uh, and, uh, and D is, she put me on the block and Haley is working with them. And Haley is obviously like the thing. Um, he, he says, we're, I mean, we're kind of working with Haley, but I don't, I don't want to tip off the other side that I'm like targeting them. I could pretend that I'm backdooring Haley to not put Haley on the block, but then I'd

[00:41:28] have to nominate melody and I don't want to nominate melody and I don't want to nominate Mallory. Um, and so, so we'll talk about this later, but Yash's criteria basically is he's tight with Lala and Taylor. He's got it. He owes Lala for not nominating him. He feels good about Taylor. It's obviously not going to nominate Kamu. He really doesn't want to nominate any of the men. Um, so you take, uh, Lala and Taylor off the board.

[00:41:56] You take all of the men off the board and you're left with Angela D melody and Mallory. He likes melody and Mallory more than he likes Angela and D he particularly doesn't like Angela because she's such a wild card. She's so volatile and emotional. He doesn't like that as a player. Like he's just like, I don't, I don't like that with Angela. Um, so quite frankly, in Yash's mind, Angela seems to be his primary target.

[00:42:24] Um, and so keep that in mind. Uh, this is his initial plan as he talks to Kamu and Kamu's initial reaction. Yes, dude. Yes. I love those nominations. Uh, and so, uh, so this is what Yash is thinking. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, so now when I earlier said, welcome to the man cave, y'all understand why I said that? Because it was very intentional.

[00:42:50] Um, he's verbally like word for word said, none of the men are going to be going home this week. They are too disadvantaged. This is legitimately a quote that he has said. So take that with what you will. Um, that being said, these are not bad nominations for him. I will say these are pretty good nominations for him. Despite that quote.

[00:43:14] Um, now for us, Taryn, the diamond power of veto becomes very fun with these nominations this week. Yes, for sure. Uh, and, uh, I think that there's, there are a lot of permutations we should talk about, uh, once we get a little more information about exactly what the plan is here. Um, in the meantime, uh, Yash also talks to Taylor. He tells her the plan.

[00:43:42] Um, he says, uh, Taylor says again, like Haley's trying to work with us, but like, I just don't fully trust her. Like I agree. Haley should be on the block. Haley should potentially be going home. Um, if D has a power and she takes herself off the block, then he'll be forced. Yash will be forced to nominate Melody, but at least then he'll be like, I was forced by a power. Uh, and so he, he'd feel okay about that. Um, now we know that D doesn't have a power that can take herself off the block.

[00:44:11] We know Devin's does, but we also know that if Devin's uses a power to take D off the block, uh, he would be choosing the replacement, not Yash. So that doesn't really matter. The real thing that matters here is that if, um, if the regular veto is used to take somebody off the block, it does seem like Yash does have Melody in mind as the potential renom. Um, so that is, that is the main thing worth considering and Melody could be in a lot of

[00:44:39] danger there depending on, uh, how much like, uh, power the vets are able to pull back in, especially if, uh, Devin's is also using diamond power. You know, well, again, we'll talk about that, uh, later once we get through the rest of these conversations. Um, Yash continues to say he doesn't really want D gone. Um, she's not good at competitions. She's kind of dead weight. Uh, he'd rather Angela or Haley leave. You might say, but Angela is also not great at competitions to which Yash would say, but

[00:45:09] Angela is really volatile. Uh, and D is less volatile. And so he, he just kind of wants Angela gone. Um, he says he'll package it to Haley, uh, as like, Hey, D or Angela are my target. And then he'll like pitch it to everyone else that like Haley is his target. Um, and Taylor keeps trying to be like, can we even get Haley out though? Like, uh, won't you just win the blockbuster or the veto? Um, and yeah, she's like, whatever. Then Angela goes great.

[00:45:39] That's always the, the move for you as an HOH is to put up three people where you're genuinely okay. If someone gets safety, cause you can't put all your eggs in one nomination basket, especially when there's two chances for them to come off the block. So yes. Um, melody gets up there to talk to Yash as well, which is very useful for her. Obviously as a potential renom. Um, they talk about this vote flip for the, the Haley situation. Melody denies knowing really anything about it.

[00:46:06] Uh, uh, and as the conversation continues and it's pretty clear that Yash is kind of anti Angela, she dives in on the anti Angela sentiment. Um, like, Hey, uh, Angela did approach me about flipping the vote to keep Haley, but I didn't want anything to do with it. Um, he says that Haley is the target, but he wouldn't mind if Angela ended up being evicted. They both agree. The icons do need to go. Uh, and Yash is a little concerned about Barrett.

[00:46:35] He says, I think Barrett is really close to the vets and melody kind of vouches for Yash, for, for Barrett as much as she can here. Um, because she does vouch for her allies. Uh, and, uh, and so it's a decent conversation. And, and, and, you know, melody is given the sense that she should be okay this week because Yash wants her to be okay. Uh, I'm keeping track of melody here again, as a, the veto has been used almost every single week with the blockbuster. Obviously not last week, many weeks it is.

[00:47:04] So melody could definitely end up on the block and especially again with the diamond power veto. Other unknown factors might be on the block as well. So, uh, we'll keep an eye on melody this week. Kamu talks to drew some more about the vote flip. And this is when Kamu tells drew about his story through the game, which includes the fact that drew was a target during the week that he was nominated. Um, drew asks who was pushing it the most. And Kamu says, I think it was D. I think it was.

[00:47:34] I'm not a hundred percent sure. I think it was D, but don't worry. It's not a big deal. It wasn't a huge thing. And he tries to move on in the story again. It was not intended to throw D under the bus specifically. That wasn't the intention of this conversation. The intention was to Kamu to tell his own story. Um, but with Kamu activated against D, uh, he didn't, he didn't make sure to drop her name there. Uh, while also saying it's not a big deal.

[00:48:01] It, uh, he says, I think he even says like it was devil's advocate stuff. Like, don't worry about it, but worth pointing out for sure. Um, Yash also talks to Drew. He tells Drew he is safe, uh, this week. Um, and this is something that he had discussed with, uh, with Yash. Of course, again, they want Drew around. They want the guys around in general. They would like him to be separated from Melody, but there are bigger fish to fry at the moment.

[00:48:28] Um, and, uh, and Kamu ends up joining them pretty soon after as well. And this is when, uh, it's pretty clear. This is a bit of a boys club. And Drew is happy that it's a boys club because he's a boy. Uh, and so Drew's like, yo, it's us dudes. We're the bad boys. It's just us left. Five of us. Just, just five dudes left, uh, in the, in the whole house. Um, that's, that's kind of scary.

[00:48:58] Uh, and Yash is like, yes, yes. I can't have another guy leaving on my HOH. Um, and so they get around to talking about nominations. Yash kind of slowly goes through it for Drew. He, he does that whole thing that I was talking about. He owes Lala. He feels good with Taylor. Doesn't want to target the guys of the remaining women. Kamu says, I think D and Angela are the most likely to take a shot at us. Um, and he said, and Angela, Angela has said before that she doesn't want to nominate a woman.

[00:49:27] So that's not very fair to us, right? Like who's she going to nominate? So makes sense for her to be on the block. Um, and Kamu mentions that D tried to flip the vote today and he, she didn't want him telling Yash. Uh, and it's like, what's up with that? What is going on there? Um, and Yash is like, yeah, I don't like that at all. So Angela and D great nominations. They need a third. Obviously Haley makes a lot of sense, but there are other options as well.

[00:49:56] Yash says he prefers Angela as the target, but Kamu actually says, I think D is more of a threat. Yash is like, I don't think D is much of a threat. Yash is like, she did win Survivor. Remember? Uh, and, but, and Yash is like, oh yeah, I mean, I don't mind either one of them leaving. Either one of them leaving would be fine for me. Um, but they're not sure if Devins will be okay with these nominations. Uh, because Devins is really close to them. And Kamu says, yeah, Devins was in on the flip today.

[00:50:24] Like he was willing to go with D against you, Yash. Uh, and I don't know if we can trust him. And so like this conversation comes around to like, maybe instead of the Bermuda triangle, maybe it's instead Kamu, Yash and Drew as the core trio of dudes, because they're not sure they can trust, uh, Devins. And Devins is really close to Barrett, which gets them talking about Barrett and how he's really close to the vets.

[00:50:52] Uh, and Drew does try to vouch for him. He says, I think Barrett would choose us over the vets. Um, but Kamu wasn't so sure. Yash says he could put Barrett up as the third nominee instead of Haley. That could be a thing that he does if he's close to the vets. But a woman has to leave. I can't risk a guy leaving.

[00:51:12] Um, and Kamu's like, well, if Barrett wants to work with the women and Haley wants to work with the men, does it really matter? Um, but, uh, for the most part, this still falls on Haley as the third nominee, not Barrett, as Drew continues to try to vouch for Barrett. Good work by Drew. Uh, he's not perfect in this conversation, but he does do some good work here.

[00:51:36] Um, and, uh, and then later in the night, Kamu and Drew talk about working as a trio with Yash. So this is where we kind of leave the night. Uh, big bro-y talk. Haley, Dee, Angela on the block. Angela kind of Yash's preferred target. Haley, some other people's preferred target. And Dee as Kamu's target after the stunt she pulled today trying to flip the vote. Uh, what a turnaround for this whole, uh,

[00:52:06] this whole house, but certainly the vets. Yeah. And I would just like to get my suggestion in early, um, for this combination of three dudes, the bro-muda triangle, perhaps. Um, it's right there. They could easily do that and it could work. Yeah. I think that, um, again, I think that these nominations do make sense for, for Yash. Um, I think Kamu is right. Obviously as someone who is a big fan of Dee, Dee absolutely should be the target.

[00:52:34] If you're putting her on the block in this combination of three people and not be the third option. Uh, that being said, I also think that I find it humorous that Yash has so much hubris about the idea that Dee is not that threatening to him. Um, sir, you've won two comps. Uh, one of them was this knockout comp that by the way, Barrett pre-answered and you got the answer wrong anyway. So you won by default. Um, and then your other comp was versus two people. So it was one out of three chance anyway.

[00:53:02] So don't get cocky. You haven't even had your reign yet. Um, and you know, all eyes on this diamond power veto Taryn, because I do think that if Dee doesn't win that veto, could we see it get used? Cause Devin's wants to use it and he can only use it this week or next week. So he might just go for it. This, um, I think it might be three more this week and two more weeks. I think, uh, because you want it. You got a count. The week he got it counted. So he got it week three.

[00:53:32] Uh, week three was one, four was two. Last week was three weeks. This is going to be the fourth week. He could use it. So he has two more weeks after this week, theoretically. Um, I think. Um, but yes, so this is the, this is the main thing to be thinking about here. Um, with Dee on the block, she knows that Devin's has a lot of things. As the diamond power veto. Uh, there is a world. They are from survivor where sometimes you don't play your idol.

[00:54:02] Uh, there is a world where they might think they don't need to use it, but with her and Angela on the block together, if they're both still on the block without a veto, uh, I have to imagine they would want to, um, the question becomes, uh, I guess like, you know, if Dee wins the veto herself, then maybe it's melody as the renom. Um, and it's like, that gets really tricky for drew, right? Like that gets really tricky for drew and Barrett.

[00:54:31] Uh, if Haley wins the blockbuster and it's melody versus Angela, um, there's all kinds of wild stuff that happens there. Um, if Angela comes off the block and melody goes up, then similarly, there's some, there's some stuff happening there. But what would happen likely is if Dee does not get vetoed as you're mentioning, I do think Devin's is likely to use the diamond power of veto. If he does, who does he nominate?

[00:55:00] We don't know because we like what they would do right now. Maybe is that I've talked about, like, I think Devin's would, I, I, what I have predicted was if Devin's doesn't need to use it until week six and then use it for the sake of using it. I think he's using it to nominate drew. I think that I was just like, I think that's going to happen. I think just in the air, but in this circumstance, uh, it doesn't matter what Devin's is thinking

[00:55:25] right now because he doesn't know that he is about to go up on the block and if, and when D goes on the block, how clean are Kamu's hands? Right? Like how clean are Taylor's hands? Who is, who is the person close to Yash that they are concerned about? And let me tell you with drew up in that HOH room and having a pretty anti Kamu, uh, agenda,

[00:55:52] I have to imagine that they are going to get a lot of information that Kamu is, uh, at the head of a lot of this and actively pushing against D it would not surprise me at all. If Devin's nominates Kamu with the diamond power of veto. Uh, so that would make like Kamu Angela D or maybe like Haley wins the veto melody is the replacement. D comes down with the diamond power of veto.

[00:56:18] It's Kamu Angela melody, or maybe melody doesn't end up as the replacement and it's Mallory or it's somebody else who knows, but like, there are a lot of possibilities here and there's a lot of time as well. Monday is the veto ceremony. The Evans doesn't have to decide what to do until then. So there's a lot of things that could happen from now until then that could change Devin's mind, whether it's nominating Kamu, nominating Taylor, nominating Lala, nominating drew like

[00:56:47] a bunch of different possibilities here. I wouldn't assume any one thing in particular will happen. This is a very live week and not to mention the fact by the way that somebody is going to get power today, potentially a power or punishment. And that person could be Kamu. It could be Taylor. It could be melody. Uh, that power could be the coin and maybe the coin is flipped, you know, like, uh, there's, there's a lot, there's a lot that could happen this week at the moment.

[00:57:17] So stay tuned for now. But, uh, what do you think? What do you think about all this? I'm, I think I'm excited because I think one thing is for certain putting up two of the icons kind of will make them have to play a little bit differently. I'm very excited at the notion of seeing how D plays from the block, because even if D is reassured, even if D thinks, okay, I'm probably not going home in this combination of nominees. I don't think D is just going to be silent about it.

[00:57:46] I don't think she's just going to be like, all right, I'll just be chill and like, let the week go by and see. I think she's going to dig. I think she's going to try and figure some stuff out. I I'm excited for that. I think Angela on the block could, especially after what's happened this morning and what this past week has been, I think that's going to kick Angela up to a hundred, which I'm very intrigued to see how that plays out. Haley has been bullied for months now. Um, and now Mike is probably going back up on the block again because she has not been dealt enough pain.

[00:58:14] And that will be Taryn on the back of her most likely not getting the power, even though she thinks she's getting the power this day. So she's going to be Anthem. So I think these nominations are going to be fun for us from a viewer's perspective, but I'm very excited to see how the icons play when now two of them are on the block after being practically safe and sound for 39 days. Yeah. And don't discount the fact that these are the plans for now, but Yash still hasn't even

[00:58:43] done the majority of his one-on-ones. Um, so, you know, I do think Haley being on the block at all is not even a guarantee at this point. Really the nominations in general aren't necessarily locked in. Uh, but at this point it does actually seem like Haley is the least locked nomination. It still could be Barrett. It still could be, uh, Melody on the block. He could change his mind there. Like there are a lot of different ways things can go.

[00:59:07] Not to mention the fact that remember too, D and Devins have planned to use their powers to intimidate people out of nominating them. And if Devins is told the plan that D is going on the block, he might try and should to stop Yash from doing that before he even has to use the diamond power of veto. He has the relationship with Yash to do this, to go to Yash.

[00:59:35] Yash says, I'm putting up D, Angela and Haley and Devins saying, uh, I don't think that's a good idea. Uh, we're in an alliance with D. I really don't think you should do this. And if Yash is like, I really think I need to, Devins can be like, listen, there are some powers out there and I really want to work with you on this one, Yash. Uh, and that could backfire because what Yash really should be doing is putting Devins on the block alongside D and Angela.

[01:00:04] Um, but, uh, but D could absolutely, uh, you know, use the like, so if it's an HOH takeover, do I get the HOH room Yash? Uh, like there are, there are different things they could do to try to threaten Yash out of this. It might make him double down. It might genuinely scare him off. Uh, so it's a, this is a very interesting live feed update.

[01:00:30] There are some interesting plans for the future, but the, the game is wide open right now. Uh, this was a very, very good HOH to have won for Yash, uh, and for us as the audience, because, uh, really who knows what's going to happen between the nominations, what the powers, the diamonds, the vetoes, the regular vetoes, the plans. It's all, it's all up in the air.

[01:00:55] Do you think that if Yash, let's say he's chosen, he's locked in these three nominees. Do you think when Yash talks to D and says, I'm going to put you up, is there a world D tries to bribe him? Cause Yash might be one of my top candidates to be like 5,000 is a lot of money. I'll take it. I could see it. Uh, five, I could turn that into 50,000 in one week. I just got, this is one coin. I'm going to buy it to the moon.

[01:01:25] I'll be sorted. It'll be mint. Yeah, I could see it. Um, maybe, I mean, it's, it's really like, yeah, she could, she could come clean about what, what power she really does have say like, Hey, I really want to work with you. Um, if she gets tipped off maybe ahead of time that she's going to be a nominee, she could go up there and pretend like she doesn't know and say, Hey, Yash, I know we're in the wolf pack, but I feel so good about you. I want to confide in you about my power. This is what it is.

[01:01:55] In fact, uh, do you want, do you want it? Do you want the 5k? I'll give it to you. We just have to make sure you do something like something silly. Like don't put me on the blog. Um, you know what, you know, like there's all stay tuned today, I guess is the, is the thing because not only has thing, I have things already happened, which when we were starting this update, uh, Lala and Haley had just gotten into it. Apparently I missed it. I was talking to Chuck with Rob.

[01:02:25] Make sure you check out our interview with Chuck. Uh, Rob was, uh, predictably Rob. Um, and, uh, and Haley was calling Lala a bully and they got into it and there's been a whole thing and Lala has been, I think like really upset about it. Uh, and so all of that's happening right now. I'm looking at, I'm looking at screenshots of Lala crying in the pods, which I'm like, what have we gone back in time using the timetable to when Rome was on the block?

[01:02:54] Um, but, uh, but there's all kinds of stuff there. And then of course we've got, again, Yash's one-on-ones plans, power threats, powers themselves, the nominations D on the block. There's all kinds of stuff. So stay tuned today. Uh, I will likely be streaming on my Patreon. You want to check it out? Patreon.com slash Taryn Armstrong. Uh, some good stuff ahead. But yeah, anything else you wanted to, uh, to talk about though from yesterday? Um, I know some of the music aficionados are going to want to know this.

[01:03:23] Uh, Yash's music was, uh, DS forever by Gunna. So that was the album that he's gotten. Um, and then no, other than that, I'm going to be live tonight at 10 PM Eastern over on my Twitch, watching some feeds by seeing some of this fallout and talking about all of it. So make sure y'all pull up that twitch.tv. All right. Well, that is about what we have for you then. Uh, again, come hang out on the Patreon. I'll be back tomorrow morning, 11 AM Eastern with an update. Um, and that's about it.

[01:03:53] That's what I got. Uh, thank you all for joining. I'll see all of you next time.
