[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_05]: Just to give you... Okay. So, my first person experience of this was that there was the two hour Big Brother

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_05]: slog going on. Meanwhile, also, my beloved New York Mets were in an elimination game, which it looked like through 98% of the game that they were going to lose and looked lifeless until they suddenly had a jolt of...

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry. Sorry to anybody that DVR'd the game to get the Big Brother coverage. Uh, but, uh, they had a huge, uh, four run, uh, top of the ninth. And now, uh, I'm, I got a lot of juice. I'm ready tonight.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we need your juice, Rob.

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_05]: You got a lot of energy now, ready to go. I'm more fired up than Volkemo.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm, I'm glad you are because, oof, was it tough if you were not watching that Mets game?

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_05]: No, honestly, the Big Brother was better than the Mets game for eight innings. Uh, it was, it was tough sledding.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's like the BB 24 of Mets games.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. Yeah. So, um, yeah, uh, we've got, uh, you know, some things to talk about though in two hours. There's more than a few things to talk about, uh, here. And of course we'll take your questions as well. Uh, we're in the home stretch here of, uh, the BB season.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Uh, we've only got a couple more episodes to go. There's going to be a Sunday night episode one week from tonight, a Thursday episode, and then the finale. So there's only three episodes to go. Plus I believe also there's going to be, uh, is Sam is one of those, the recap of the recap, or is there an additional episode that is the recap of the recap?

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay. So there will be a fourth episode, which will be a recap of the recap as we are down to four episodes, four players left here in BB 26. Taryn, I know that you were, uh, reporting that it was going back and forth.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Kimo Rubina, Kimo Rubina. It ends up being Kimo. Sorry to your draft team taking its first hit here tonight.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes. Finally, finally happened.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_00]: That's your first hit. Oh my God, Taryn, you are so annoying. That's the first person from your draft team that's left.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. God, I can't even, I'm not even, I can't dignify that with any sort of commentary.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It almost didn't happen.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_05]: History. I like, I kind of want to see what I really kind of wanted Taryn to get to the final four with three people, but then to have Chelsea win the one person he didn't have.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: That would have been way more satisfying.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_05]: That would have been, we would have said, wow, what a choke job to get people to the final four.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Listen, we all know that average draft placement is really true.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_04]: That's true.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I was about to say, but then he would start to bring the Shannon average draft thing in.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh God.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay. Um, so Taryn, uh, do we have any sense of what happened today? Did it, did you, was there anything on the feeds that was showing what went on or was this, uh, behind the scenes?

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, honestly, I think this came, came down to what we've been talking about all week long, which is just the inactivity of both of the nominees, uh, in the sense that, uh, you know,

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_04]: They died as they lived.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Truly. Um, where basically we talked this morning about how there was going to be a conversation theoretically between, uh, chemo, Cam and Chelsea about whether they should keep chemo.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and instead the last conversation we saw was between Rubina and Chelsea. And I think honestly, it just came down, came down to who she talked to last, uh, and who she, you know, cause she was going back and forth all night.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_04]: She went from wanting chemo to, uh, to chemo out, to wanting Rubina out, to wanting chemo out, to wanting Rubina out.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, and then eventually just landed on Rubina. And that was again, the last person we, uh, or Rubina to stay, at least the last person we saw her talk to.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. And do you feel like that, that for Chelsea, she landed on the right decision?

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think so. Uh, I mean, I, I don't love the back and forth in the first place, but, uh, but chemo was the more actively anti Chelsea person.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and the one who was spreading the fact that she was going to be winning this game the most. Uh, I don't think Rubina is like amazing for her game, but, uh, but this felt like the, the better play.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_04]: It, you know, it, for her.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's, who's better at quiz comp chemo or Rubina? Like both of them are not good. So it's, yeah. I mean, it's like, if you're basing it off of comp, it really is kind of like six in one half a dozen in the other, in my opinion, except chemo people in the jury liked chemo more and would be more willing to vote for him.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: It was Angela's boy.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, like honestly, yeah. Like the big thing here is that it wasn't worth damaging her relationship with MJ because she's incredibly reliant on her relationship with MJ and she was not able to convince MJ to make the move on chemo. Um, and so.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Why go against MJ for the sake of chemo when you need MJ in the game to take you to the end?

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And, and, you know, she, I think maybe would have gone against MJ for the sake of cam.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but then cam also did not do the best job at like keeping the pressure on her in, in that case.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But, and also you got to buttered her up a little more.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Just saying.

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_05]: The danger is with whoever was going to stay out of chemo or Rubina that their ultimate weakness was that they spend all their time talking to each other or the trio.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Now they will actually have to spend their time playing the game or campaigning to the other house guests.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_05]: So there is a possibility that one of them could be unlocked now a free electron.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. And, and, you know, there is some danger to this.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Rubina has been talking to MJ, um, about like choosing her over Chelsea.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Essentially, um, chemo was the person encouraging, uh, Rubina to be like, you should go to the end with cam with chemo gone.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_04]: How much of that still remains in her head is another question.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Is Chelsea able to swoop in there?

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, obviously the most interesting result this week would be Rubina winning that veto.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but, uh, Rubina winning that HOH.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that would also, I mean, that wouldn't be that interesting, I think, because it would just be MJ and cam trying to evict each other.

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, but I, I don't know.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, if she wins the HOH, it'll be like JC winning the HOH and BB 20.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, quite honestly, I don't think Rubina is the target of final four.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I think cam and MJ are straight up targeting each other regardless.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I agree.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Most interesting scenario be cam wins.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_05]: Get this cam wins, uh, and HOH.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_05]: Rubina wins the veto.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Is that an interesting decision for Rubina?

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_04]: It definitely is.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, because she's made promises to MJ.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, she's heard from cam from chemo.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Like don't go to the end with Chelsea.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, but MJ is the bigger comp threat theoretically.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, so it's like, I, I do think that's a decision to be made.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I think cam will be pushing her to go MJ.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and she probably will go MJ, but like, it's definitely decision.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I also think that Chelsea could handle herself well in that situation.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Chelsea has shown that she can handle herself really well when her back is up against

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_00]: the wall and she knows how to smooth things over in a situation like that.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And like Chelsea is anything but passive.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So like she would get to work in a way that I'm not sure MJ would be able to.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_05]: So chemo ends up being evicted tonight.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Maggie, you're such a historian of the sport.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_05]: I would love to get, you know, your final, um, epitaph of chemo, the player we've watched

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_05]: him for what?

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_05]: 80 some odd days.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Can I give a true comparison of chemo?

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I really, I really feel this way and people may, I, I would love to talk this out,

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_00]: but I feel like chemo is really giving BB 11s Kevin.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_05]: I could see that.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Like very much.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So super social, hanging out with friends, a lot of drama going on around him.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of strife.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_00]: People just really like him.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Close friendships in the house.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_00]: The game level in the house is like a little low.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So he ends up making his way really, really close to the end.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: People looking back on BB 11 were like, oh, he could have clinched it if it were not for

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And then he comes back for BB 22 when you're like, oh, he was never going to clinch it.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of how I feel about a chemo.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_05]: My memory of Kevin though was that he had a strategic year that I feel like that chemo

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_05]: was missing to some degree.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like chemo has the same strategic sense.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that Kevin maybe was a little bit more like active as a player than chemo, but I think

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_00]: that they have the same level of strategic sense.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It's in my opinion.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I just, I, I feel like one of the like qual, like identifying features about

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Kevin is that he made one of the more active plays of like the preemptive lie.

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Which is fairly rare in the game to, to save himself and Natalie and to, to really screw

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Jeff over.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so like, I, like, I think as you were saying, but like, it's, I think kind of a tough

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_04]: comparison in terms of looking at chemo's inactivity.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But also what I will say about that is that Kevin literally hated Jeff.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that was a house full of people who literally hated each other.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a house full of people who cry every single time someone's evicted because they love

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: each other so much.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I, I do feel, I, I see what you're saying and I am willing to say, okay, but also I, I

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: personally see the comparison.

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_05]: It's not bad.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Specifically in BB 22.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_05]: So chemo, he ends up what being on the block seven times before he ultimately goes home.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_05]: Home.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what Julie said.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_05]: That's what Julie said.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_05]: Is that the, is that a record or, uh, are there still more other block stars that were,

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_05]: uh, on more than chemo?

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I believe there are the record still stands.

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think it's, it's up there at like nine.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's that Spencer?

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I think Victoria's there with nine, something like that.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_05]: What was it about chemo that made him, uh, such an easy target for the blocks?

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Taryn, he didn't go on the block necessarily as a pawn so much.

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Like often he was a target and he stayed.

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was genuinely his inactivity.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, like if you do not fight back, you will go up as a pawn and you will continue to go

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_04]: up as a pawn because you've now shown evidence that you won't fight back.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so, you know, it's, it's just, it's hard to escape that.

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_04]: And on top of that, he wasn't winning comps.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so, uh, he was this weird combination of super likable jury threat that wasn't winning

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_04]: comps and wasn't active and fighting back.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_04]: And so just throw him up on the block.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, and it really started with, with Quinn, uh, in his HOH, uh, when, when Quinn put chemo

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_04]: up there, um, it, I didn't start with it with Quinn.

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: It started with Angela obviously in week one.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, but like Quinn kind of like reinstated the, okay, chemo is going to be, uh, chemo and

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Rubino are both going to be pawns again.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Maggie, Julie asked chemo, uh, chemo, you had the numbers, you know, I, I guess probably

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_05]: like the absolute, uh, peak of his game was after they got out Cedric that he had, he had

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_05]: the alliance with Rubina and Tucker and Julie said it, it looks so good.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_05]: What, what went wrong?

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_05]: And he just said it was a, a friendship that was just, uh, too visible.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_05]: They were, they were too close to friends.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00]: He was playing big friends in the big brother house.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that the best, I think the best way to sum up chemo's game is that like right

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: before the double eviction, when they had to be studying what they were watching the

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: night before he and Rubina spent the whole night, like making up a song and not studying.

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they did a week on the block, making up songs.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I, I just like, he was at summer camp, you know?

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but I, I think that the best thing that Chell, like you want to talk about the getting

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: chemo and Rubina to be singing songs and not thinking about the game, getting rid of T-Core

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: was the move for that.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, like they lost the only person with any sort of head in the game in that particular

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_00]: way.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And she was also incredibly passive.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So one day we'll talk about these three and I can't wait to figure out the, the right

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: phrase to discuss these, like the inactive trio or something like that.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: They, they are one of a kind.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: We've seen a lot of wild trios Taryn over the years.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I really do feel, but this one in particular was like here for a good time.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, it was a season of wild trios.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Whoa.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Big brother 33.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_05]: It should have been.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_05]: So, uh, we have our final four.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think a big headline tonight was, uh, we got to have our long awaited jury segment

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_05]: and we got to watch.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_05]: I was let down by the jury segment overall.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like that we saw, we watched a lot of highlights from what has happened in the

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_05]: last couple of weeks, but so very little of what life is like in the jury house.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_04]: They really overhyped this.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, uh, like this, uh, this idea of like, Oh, Angela is, was shocked by the most shocking

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_04]: thing.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, we all knew that Leah had a crush on Quinn and we all knew that Quinn would freak

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_04]: out about it.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_04]: What we wanted to know was, is it going to go anywhere?

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_04]: What have they been doing in the jury house?

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Leah's been out of the house for a week.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_05]: All right, let's check in.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_05]: What's going on there.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Who's like, we got to see like five minutes after the double eviction.

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_00]: No, Rob, we got to see exactly what we got to see of Leah and Quinn in the big brother

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: house.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: The most awkward, like I do have a crush on you and him being like, like, I was like,

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_00]: what on earth?

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Like the least sexy interaction of people telling each other that they like each other.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_05]: It was, I thought very sexy.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_05]: I thought it was, uh, very hot.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_05]: It seemed, I I'm thinking that, listen, listen, I think Quinn and Leah are going to do it.

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I called my shop before on this.

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_05]: He has called the shop before.

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_05]: And I think Quinn and Leah are OTP and are going to get married.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Stop it, Rob.

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_05]: Take it to the bank.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I, I'll co-sign the do it, but I don't know about the marriage.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, I guess that they, um, have where it's the double eviction, but they could have,

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_05]: They could have gone back and shown us a couple of days later at the jury house.
