[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_03]: yesterday on the Big Brother 26 Live Feeds. It was day 61 in the house and there was a Veto
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_03]: competition and Veto winners and honestly not a whole lot else because they're still outside
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_03]: a lot of game and it's tough to watch. With me to talk about it is Maggie. How are you doing?
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi Taran, hi everybody. I'm excited to be here but these feeds are tough man. They're tough
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_02]: to get anything out of. Nobody can really talk because everybody's sitting in the backyard in
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: one big area. There's absolutely no privacy but there is some detective work done.
[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna try to keep together what's going on the best that we can.
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah I'm excited to be here also I do have to say I think that we're gonna have a couple
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_02]: pretty funny episodes. I know I'm sorry Taran to say this because I know that you're like
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_02]: don't you even say anything positive about this but some of the stuff that they're having them
[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_03]: do is so funny. It's silly. Listen that's fine just don't keep them outside. That's it.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just so simple. I mean on one hand it feels nice and comfortable to be back
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_03]: like watching regular Big Brother where I'm going like man this twist sucks.
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah I agree with you because they could have them still do all of the like
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: torturous stuff but just have them all come out into the backyard for like an hour and do it
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and then get to go back inside. But yeah I mean when they are dancing and they all look
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: like half dead with their food like it's so funny to me. I was like this is gonna kill
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_03]: with the casuals on the episode. Well they're still outside it's still annoying to watch
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_03]: and I imagine annoying to play as well. I think this wouldn't be as bad if there wasn't an
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_03]: HOH with so many possibilities in front of us. If it was just like a straightforward week
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_03]: it's like well whatever nothing was probably going to change anyway but it's especially
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_03]: annoying that like there's so much game to be talked this week and it might be the last week
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_03]: where that is true. And they're stuck outside and nobody's really talking. They plan to do one-on-ones
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_03]: today day 62 meaning they have not done them yet so I don't have to
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_03]: anything to tell you about that but I'll let you know what is going on because there's some
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_03]: weirdness happening here. You might have noticed that Vito Winner was plural winners
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: so we're going to talk about that a little bit of course. Leah is the HOH she nominated
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Kimo and Rubina for eviction. We were like oh boy that's disappointing but hey
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_03]: maybe she's got a bigger plan right? Maybe she's just doing this to prevent
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Chelsea and her trio from winning the veto and maybe there's a back door in play who knows?
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That was slightly alluded to at one point you know in the four seconds of game talk that we get
[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_02]: from this twist like there was an illusion to that so Maggie and Taryn can dream you know.
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_03]: But it all comes down to this veto competition and wouldn't you know it if this was the plan
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_03]: what a great veto draw because T Cor, Angela and Chelsea were picked to play in the veto which
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: means that MJ and Cam were not picked to play in the veto. This is basically the dream veto draw
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_03]: if you're trying to backdoor Chelsea maybe not the dream dream but like
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_03]: pretty close to it like both of Chelsea's allies not picked to play in the veto.
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_03]: All three of the other trio plus Leah and Angela all playing if Leah did want to make a move
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: this is a pretty good draw for them. Yeah it set her up really well because it set up
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: that in every scenario minus obviously a Chelsea win pretty much we assumed that the veto
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: would get used or at least it would be a big option for the veto to get used. If she
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_03]: wants the veto to be used she has a five out of six chance of it for sure basically happening.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Especially sorry I just have to say before we get to the results like
[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I know Angela has been hankering to use a veto. I would hope so.
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Can you imagine if she's like nah. Well and that's the thing right? We get to the
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_03]: competition and it was a puzzle you know Angela taking after you know taking after her previous
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_03]: ally that she eventually turned on. I really like my puzzle baby. Angela won the veto.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Woo very exciting. Look at that three time comp winner Angela.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I believe the women now getting over the 50 percent mark in competition wins
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_03]: this season which is the first time that's happened since at least BB 20 and then much
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: further back beyond that. No and it's so awesome and so exciting that there is opportunity in these
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: competitions for people like Angela to win. It really I mean we've talked a lot about
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: how good this season has been and how much the AI arena twist has really helped
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_02]: gameplay be chaotic and you know things not to get locked in super quickly
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_02]: but I also really do think that this season and how exciting and unpredictable it's been
[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: has been a result of these equitable comps and these competitions where
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_02]: like there is opportunity for everybody to win something. So I do really just want to say
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_02]: fantastic job production keep it up. Look at how good this season can be
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_02]: when something like this happens. Look at how excited we all are when there's equitable comps.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah I mean pretty wild that we're at roughly 50 percent and it's six women and two men.
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Look but listen it's a lot better than what we've had in the past. I mean last season
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_02]: getting on these updates with you Taryn and being like well
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Jag again. You know like what this is thrilling to me compared to the slog that was the end game
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_03]: last year. So pretty wild here. Angela wins this veto which means they have the ability now.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I said that I didn't think these noms were great because even if you do make the move now
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_03]: you do have to worry about what is T Corp going to do because you can't get both T Corp and
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Chelsea on the block anymore which was the optimal play. Except there was another veto
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_03]: the janky veto that Leo won. Did you do that? I did. Nice work Taryn. Thank you. I love it.
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I had to make a janky veto. It looks great. I like how it's like sort of a tiara on her head.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah we don't really know what this is but somehow some way Leo won what is called the
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_03]: janky veto and all we really know about this is that Leo was talking about how it must be used
[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_03]: before the regular veto and she's not even completely sure that she will be able to use
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: it at all. That there might be some kind of additional test of some sort to allow it to be
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_02]: used. We don't know. Also she said like good things she won it because there was like real
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_02]: opportunity for it to screw her over as the HOH if somebody else had won it and there were very
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_02]: little details given on what that was but it does appear to be quite janky.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It does. Now what this really means is that basically the big brother gods
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_03]: descended from the heavens to say, Leah you have made a massive mistake but we are giving
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_03]: you the tools that you need to correct it. Use both vetoes. Put T-Core and Chelsea on the block
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_03]: like they were intended to be. And what do we think is gonna happen there? I think she's
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_02]: probably not gonna use it. I don't know. I'm interested to see what Angela
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_02]: comes up with when she does her one-on-one with Leah because look if there's one thing about Angela
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_02]: she's gonna want to do something wackadoo. So she's probably gonna want to do something janky.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So I do feel like Angela is going to be hankering to use her veto and to have a moment.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_02]: She has been the veto queen all season without her own volition and I feel like she's gonna
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_02]: have a TV moment where she gets to use the veto now on somebody else. We can only hope because
[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_03]: quite frankly I think a move like that whether Leah wants her to or not is the kind of thing
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_03]: that might actually break her out of just complete go. Completely agree. A third competition
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: and like utilizing power in a way that theoretically benefits her game
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I think could really start to sell her to people. Is Quinn gonna vote for Angela?
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_03]: But you really start to make a case and I really do think that she should start to have
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_03]: a case. It's one thing to just win power but another thing to then use it and I think that
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_03]: the fact that she has been able to successfully trick people into thinking she'll be a loyal
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_03]: player while also then not being a loyal player. I think that's another part of it too especially
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_03]: if it does go against Leah's wishes. It's like this for the like fourth time in a row
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_03]: somebody's been tricked into doing something for her only for her to turn around and not repay
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_03]: that favor which is such an impressive thing on her on her resume. Okay Taryn okay yes to all
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_02]: of this like in theory absolutely like this is the type of move that gets her out of goat
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_02]: status absolutely. The problem is she would have to be able to socially manage the move
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and like socially back up what she's doing to make people see that.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't think Angela? Big freaking brother! I got this mama's heart beating fast!
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: No no I will say though if she does you know use this veto and like you said really take the
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Gabler like trajectory where she gets to the end and she's like I in that very first week wanted
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Matt out and I got Matt out and then I really wanted and I could see people
[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_02]: like look I don't know I don't I'm not saying that that's gonna happen
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_02]: but stranger things and I agree with you that I think that if Angela wants any shot beyond
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: a zero vote finalist or a one vote finalist she has to do something.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah it's I mean it's what I said about Leah this week which was that like so rarely does a person
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_03]: in Leah's position get the power at the time to then do the thing that could actually change
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: the game and similarly very rarely does a player like Angela get this position of power
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_03]: to actually be able to do something and to use power and to change again change the game.
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_03]: If Angela's veto got Tikor or Chelsea out like I think her and Leah get a lot of credit
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: and you know I'm not saying that Angela is going to start to become like an actual threat
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_03]: to win the game but it certainly you know when we've been talking about her on the round table
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_03]: she's been in that spot of just like yeah she can't win though like the players no
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_03]: matter what people outside the house think the players in the game just don't respect her
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_03]: as a player but this is the kind of thing that like you can actually
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_03]: like shake the system a little bit and be like hey you got to pay attention to me.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I also do think that the problem right now that we are facing when we're trying to discuss
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: like if they're going to use these vetoes if there is a possibility for Tikor and Chelsea
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: to come up and get on the block is like Leah and Angela would have to be able to see the
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: clearly in order to make a move like that and one because the gameplay has been so stifled
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_02]: because they've all been outside like we have no idea if they even have a sense
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_02]: that that's what they should be doing and two like I have more faith that Leah would
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_02]: be able to see the game clearly than Angela because Angela does have moments where she
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: suddenly can see things clearly and then has moments where she's like and everybody's out
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_02]: get me specifically and suddenly it's you know she's so loud and so wrong so I don't know
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: if they even know what to do here. Well that's the thing is that they discussed it
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_03]: just like five days ago Tikor and Chelsea on the block they like she knew I think she
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_03]: knows I think she knows I think that if she doesn't do it Leah or Angela quite frankly
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_03]: it's because she's talked herself out of it because it's a scary thing to do. It is scary and
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I do think that if you're going to make a scary move like this it just gets totally crushed by
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_02]: this twist where everybody's looking at you all the time and everybody you know what I mean
[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_02]: like you can't hide in your room and pump yourself up that you're gonna do this you know
[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that that's the tough situation that we're in with all of them in the backyard
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_02]: sitting in the shade looking at each other from across the way you know I think that it's
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_03]: really intimidating to upend the power like that. Yep so here's the thing we really
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_03]: have no idea what they actually plan to do we haven't seen any real discussion about it.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_03]: There was like a little bit of talk of like if the VEDA was used what might happen but
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_03]: but really again like the game talk is just so sad and there's just no real discussion to be had.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Now Chelsea and T-Core did have a bit of a conversation where just to like really
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_03]: throw it in Leah's face that she made a mistake nominating either of them they're
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_03]: going to complain about Leah and how they want to target her soon and they're also annoyed
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Cam for making a deal for safety this week but really just like not really contemplating that
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_03]: it's even possible to get the both of them on the block even though it very much is
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_03]: but yes definitely feeling like you know there is definitely no love lost
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_03]: between Chelsea and Leah despite Leah not putting her on the block. I just wanted to say I see
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_02]: some people in the chat talking about how the move would be really really big for somebody
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_02]: in Leah's vulnerable position to put the heads of the two trios up and I do just want to say
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: yesterday on the live feed update Taryn was speaking about how you have all of this time
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_02]: after nominations where people are going to be campaigning against each other for people to
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: get mad for people to forget you were the one who put them in this position in the first place
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: for people to be campaigning to Leah and Angela because Cam and MJ are locked in votes
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Chelsea to stay and Rubina and Kimo are locked in votes for a T-corps to stay and I do think that
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: sometimes this is the reason people will talk themselves out of a move like this is that
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_02]: they're like oh my gosh then everybody's mad at me but you said yesterday you need to be thinking
[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_02]: when you make moves like this you need to be thinking about the vote rather than the
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: nomination and I think that that is so important and such a like smart observation
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: about the way that the game specifically in the end game should be played. Yeah and I think we're
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_03]: already seeing it right like we're already seeing that because Chelsea's side was completely
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_03]: untouched yeah Chelsea is now free to not bother with Leah as much and go to T-corps and
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_03]: hey T-corps sucks that Leah did this to you right well at least you've still got me and
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_03]: oof sucks that we're gonna lose Kimo and you're gonna be weakened and it's gonna make me want
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_03]: to work with you even more because you're weakened but hey at least you've got me I'm
[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_02]: voting I'm voting the way you want. And that's the problem with a player like Chelsea who is
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: very talented like she is of course dangerous for you to put on the block because she doesn't
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_02]: forget and she will you know she's not going to going into the next week be like yeah I'm
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_02]: not gonna bother with Leah like I think that she probably would go after Leah if Chelsea were
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_02]: to stay and she was up but also Chelsea off the block is so dangerous because she is really
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_02]: really talented socially and knows how to make moves like that so I do think that
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: if she were to do a Chelsea T-corps nomination or backdoor Chelsea like
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_02]: you just got to go for it and you got to figure out how to get Chelsea out
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and you also were saying yesterday you know if it's like you put up Chelsea and T-corps
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and Chelsea actually is handling it really well and that's not the way that she reacts
[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_02]: to it then great you can get T-corps out but you need to make the move so that you
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_02]: can see the way that the people react and go from there and maneuver from there.
[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm yeah so we'll see again we really don't know beyond the fact that these nominations
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_03]: happened and there hasn't been any active conversation which is a lot we do not know
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_03]: what Angela intends to do what Leah intends to do again they plan to have their one-on-one
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_03]: conversations today so you'll have to tune in tomorrow at 11 a.m eastern to find out
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_03]: what their plans are assuming we find those out but if things do remain the same
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_03]: we have a good idea of what's going to happen it's what we assumed was going to happen which
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_03]: is that chemo is likely the target here even T-corps is kind of like
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_03]: sucks for chemo you know we were never even that strategically like we're more just friends.
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Come on T-corps come on stop listen I said that the the bird poop situation was the
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: perfect encapsulation of their relationship and uh tough tough tough breaks them's the breaks
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_03]: in big brother yeah definitely not looking great for chemo if nothing changes here so we'll see
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean if these one-on-one conversations or anything like the previous one-on-one conversations
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_03]: it doesn't feel like anything significant is going to happen but especially from Rubina or
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_03]: chemo's end but but obviously the best play here if you want to change something is if
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Angela perhaps uh is to use the veto on chemo um and force Leah to make a replacement she loves
[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_02]: chemo you know like we all know she loves chemo I do think that that's probably what she really
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_02]: wants to do um we'll just see I think that she might use the veto on chemo though and
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_02]: we will be like perfect T-corps get up there we'll be like no that I would say okay so in
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_03]: terms of what I feel is most likely right now um I would assume it so I think that Leah would
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_03]: love to see T-corps on the block but her problem is that if she puts T-corps up that T-corps
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_03]: doesn't go home yeah she does know that the only way to send T-corps or Chelsea home is by
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_03]: putting them up against each other I think she was scared to do it initially but now she
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_03]: could but I think she would be hesitant to put T-corps on the block just against Rubina or chemo
[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_03]: because she thinks that T-corps will just stay anyway I think she'd probably be hesitant to put
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Chelsea on the block against either one because she's worried that T-corps might vote
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_03]: to keep Chelsea and then Chelsea will just stay so it is definitely possible that she would
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: consider the idea of what if we use both vetoes the problem there is that she doesn't
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: know if she can use both vetoes so it's hard to plan for a thing and when you don't know
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_02]: if it's possible well maybe she'll get more clarity you know like maybe she'll go to the
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: DR this morning and get more clarity on what's going on or you know maybe she's
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: downplaying what she knows she can do until she has her one-on-one with Angela
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: sorry just delusion just delusion from me be like she's definitely like no yeah I mean it
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_03]: would basically require coordination to the degree that she says to Angela like this is
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_03]: the plan if I'm able to use the veto we use both if I'm not able to use the veto we use
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03]: neither um you know something weird like that uh and so we'll see yeah I mean I'm hopeful
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I am yeah uh there's really nothing else to talk about like there really isn't you guys it's just
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: like watching the feeds yesterday was brutal it was brutal yeah uh which which really it
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I just want to reiterate how much that sucks because like we should be getting
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Angela Leah conversations constantly about what their plan is and what they want to do
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_03]: we should get t-corps and chelsea fighting for their lives in the week that they are the most
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_03]: vulnerable as the two players who seems destined to win this season like it like this should be
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_03]: a really fun week and it is just not strategically it's just not it's reminding me of it it's
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02]: always like this always happens where the double is at the time when we're like no no
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_02]: this would have been a great week to watch play out versus you know then we end up with the

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02]: i'm interested and hopeful you know we we don't know what's about to happen here um i'm hopeful

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: that's been most exciting about it is that there is a much more open playing field here

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: of danger at the moment um and i'm i'm really interested to see where everything's going to
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_02]: lie at the end of this week and moving forward into this end game what what we're going to be
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: looking at because usually this is the point of the season where things get so locked in that
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: we're just like well for the next three weeks we can kind of go on autopilot because this
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: way that it's gonna move um so yeah i'm just obviously loving the season like everybody else
