[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm yours, John Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: on the Big Brother 26 live feeds.
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It was day 81 in the house and we are still just trucking along,
[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_01]: coming to the close of this season.
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But we did get a final 4-vito result so we'll have that to talk about.
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's mostly it.
[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But with me to talk about it, it's Maggie.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Hi, Teran. Hi everybody.
[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel for you because we still have a week of stuff and everything's happened.
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything that's going to happen this week has happened.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_03]: So these next couple of podcasts,
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't wait to see what you come up with to keep the people entertained.
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I'm good.
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm happy to be here for my last probable Big Brother podcast of the season.
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Talk about the speedo results.
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, talk about the things that there are to talk about.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's funny.
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Normally toward the end of the season it feels like the decisions become more consequential.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But this season it feels like they're less and less consequential.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, because when somebody's got it wrapped up so tightly,
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, it's like what else?
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It could go this way or that way and it probably still wouldn't matter at the end of the day.
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, we can talk it through.
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, really there's not much to talk about until we get to the video competition
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: and thus the video results and surprising no one.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_01]: MJ wins the final four video.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Cam was apparently a close second place though,
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and he was really bummed out about this.
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, we talk about this not being surprising
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: and not being consequential, but Cam was definitely going to vote out MJ
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and coming in a close second place means that MJ once again,
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: by the skin of her teeth survives a week.
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's how she's been all season just clutching it up.
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And I was about to say, and you can't be super mad about that.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, like she has been able to pull it out when she's needed to the AI arena.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll never forget.
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And that her iconic blue set.
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, and Cam was really upset.
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_03]: His, he the dogs of the crib were really, I'm sure that they were pouring one out for him because with this veto loss kind of took Cam's chances to win the game.
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_03]: In my opinion, unless he can pull out that final three HOH and get rid of Chelsea.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_03]: But even that, I don't know that he would that that would even clinch him the win against MJ.
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, he's now.
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He's now theoretically in a position where it's either him or Rubina leaving and Rubina, I think given the given the reaction to this result.
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It really does to me feel like he was planning to take Rubina to the final two 1000% he was big bummin like in in the bed head under the pillow, like really, really upset.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And one, I think that that's the thing about Cam is because he's so quiet and has been fairly, you know, inactive at points in the season.
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_03]: I think people think that he doesn't know what he's doing or like he doesn't see the game clearly.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I do think he sees the game clear enough to know what he has to do to win.
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And I do think we watched him realize that there's really no shot or his his winning chances have become incredibly slim.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm. Yeah, it definitely feels that way.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, of course, it goes beyond that as well.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: MJ is going to bring up her hesitancy to keep Cam when talking to Chelsea.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: She she says that she thinks that, you know, Cam is maybe slightly more of a threat at physical competitions and maybe we should take him out.
[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Chelsea disagrees.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_01]: She says, Cam is just as bad at comps as Rubina.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you not remember just a few days ago we were like, oh, he's throwing competitions.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: He's just bad at him.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And hey, there aren't even any physical competitions left.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: There's the end game doesn't have physical final three HOH physical.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Taryn, I just want to know like where this like why do people still think this is there somebody out there spreading misinformation?
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: To be fair to Chelsea, there's a reason there's an obvious reason to lie about this if she's trying to keep Cam around.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But the fact that MJ would believe it is wild.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, 1000%.
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just used to people really mean it when they say, oh, it's all just quiz comps at the end.
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I when I find the Twitter account spreading the misinformation or the YouTube account that all of these people go on to watch, I'm going to get you because you really have messed some people up here in the end.
[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And if I can tell anyone who's ever going on Big Brother Anything, it's the end game comps stay physical.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_03]: That is going to be my number one thing that I say in the house.
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, even even in this season, like we're seeing that the competitions varied quite a lot throughout the season.
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: We had such a great variety of winners up until end game where two people have won the vast majority of the remaining competitions.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So you just have to watch out for that 1000%.
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But what I will say about what has happened here at the end is because the competitions were so varied physically at the beginning, it gave the opportunity for players like Chelsea.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_03]: To get out the people who would have beaten her in these end game competitions.
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So she had the opportunity to trade off comps with MJ like I don't have an issue with people trading off comps in the end.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_03]: If it was done with the strategic understanding throughout the game that I need to be able to win at the end.
[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_03]: So I need to surround myself with people that will help me win.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I still have an issue with it because it's boring.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I just think it's like the game mechanic of, I mean, Dan and Memphis traded off competition wins at the end of BB 10.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I just think that it's, I think that it's a part of the game in general.
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Of course, I would have loved to have seen a Rubina HOH and a Cam Vito that would have been thrilling.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's just, like I said, it's just part of it.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have to be.
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So MJ, she retorts.
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: She says that she thinks Cam is just straight up better at competitions than Rubina is.
[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, whether or not there's physical competitions left, he did much better than Rubina or at least better than Rubina in this Vito competition.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_01]: He's just, he's better than Rubina in competitions.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And Chelsea's like, well, yeah, I think they're equally bad.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're equally bad.
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, that kind of spins them off to start complaining about how Rubina and Cam have only won one competition each and how that means that they don't even really deserve to be here.
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And it should really only be the two of them in the final two.
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know what?
[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll think about it more.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll think on this some more between Cam and Rubina.
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: To me, it seems clear that MJ has a preference toward evicting Cam and obviously Chelsea has a preference toward evicting Rubina.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think this will be fully decided until later.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Also, like no matter what MJ says right now, it's we're going to watch Chelsea do some work on her and we'll watch her waffle.
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, that's from what Taryn's been reporting on all season.
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_03]: That is sort of what we're in for over the next couple of days.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's really like there's really not much more to the day.
[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I have advice for house guests if you're in the house and there's life needs.
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Like save this stuff where you are discussing things about fellow house guests, past house guests, even your own personal information.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Save that like fun sort of gossipy stuff for after the live feeds are off and the entire world cannot see what you are saying about sensitive information and sensitive topics about other people.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I get it, you are super bored in there.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I get it. It's fun. It's lighthearted to the four of them at the table. It's lighthearted. It's silly. Nobody's taking it all that seriously.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_03]: But it goes on the internet forever.
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_03]: So I would just say if you find yourself in the house in the end game, board out of your mind and people want to gossip or say funny play games about who is most likely to and they start talking about sensitive things that you think people may not want on the internet forever.
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Say hey guys, we're going to be out of here in 10 days. Let's play this when we're at Todrick's house, not for the entire world to see.
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I was going to Todrick's house anymore, but
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the spot that I will continue to wherever they end up after you know.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, one thing worth noting at least game wise.
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Cam, as Chelsea spends a lot of time with MJ cam spend time with Rubina.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of like commiserating as the two of them are the two vulnerable people here and you know again it really feels like cam is kind of like oh there goes our games.
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: But but they also just continue to bond and it's worth noting because you know I think I agree with the notion that cam is probably screwed here.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But he has done well, especially with chemo and Rubina to really like bond with them.
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that he's bonded the most with like even somebody like Angela as well.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think that cam actually has the relationships to win a jury vote. He just doesn't have the respect.
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: You know we talk about, at least I talk about likability versus respect a lot and I think cam very much wins the likability factor when it comes to this jury vote.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the respect factor that he is really lacking and likely the reason why he would lose a jury vote, but he continues to do good you know theoretical jury management with Rubina here.
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, and that's why I was saying like he did really need to win this veto and boot MJ and then when the final three HOH and boot chelt like that's the way that you win the respect at the end game that's the Steve of it all.
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I just think, you know, MJ is if cam ends up in a final three situation with Chelsea and MJ.
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know that he can pull out that Steve clutch win was we'll see but yeah, I agree with you about the likability factor and I think that stuff and then the problem is now that cam only has one full competition left.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean his only hope is that either MJ or himself cuts Chelsea and he goes to the end with MJ and then he can he can contrast his game against the comp player versus the social player.
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's a good contrast for him obviously against Chelsea she's got both so it's like you just have no argument there with MJ you've got something.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's kind of rough when she's won this many at this point, especially if she's the one to cut Chelsea but not impossible. I think.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and yeah, I just completely agree.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: All right well that's really kind of kind of it here for the day.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You know MJ locking in her spot in the final three with Chelsea.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: They are continuing to very much talk about going to the end together. I I've said this a lot.
[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I would I would say despite any talk of the contrary any hints of the contrary.
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The more somebody talks about going to the final two with somebody the more they tend to mean it unless they absolutely have to or they're like you know a specific kind of player like obviously.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's what he was talking about when he was talking about going to the end with Nicole. He was facing her in the final three competition and it was very much lying to her.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't happen that often surprise whether that's a surprise or not.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I remember how fun that end game was when we got out here we were like, and he stopped saying it to Enzo. Why is that is it because he doesn't want it to get back to Nicole.
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh that was a fun like BB 22 was cursed for many reasons but that final week actually very fun.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, people forget that the ending is pretty great of that season in terms of like.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I was getting a bunch of crap online for saying that Nicole is one of the best to ever do it.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Argue with yourselves. That's what I have to say. Watch all her seasons argue with yourselves. She is one of the best to ever do it. She got outplayed by Cody but she is one of the best to ever do it.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well of course that's basically what's going on. I would not expect MJ to be really considering cutting Chelsea until it comes down to it and she actually starts promising things would be my guess.
