[00:01:34] Coming to you live from my apartment, it's Rob Has A Podcast. And now here's the guy who feels like, is this Groundhogs Day? I'm Rob's sister, Nino. Hello, everybody. Welcome back to Rob Has A Podcast. Thursday night of premiere week.
[00:01:51] Two hours of watching these people before we got 13 seconds of all the house guests together here at the end of the episode. But finally, we are through the two night premiere and here back with us to talk about it all. Taren Armstrong. Taren, how are you?
[00:02:10] Well, Rob, I do have to admit something. I have been lying to you. I'm actually an AI. Oh no. Oh no. Yes, you liar, Taren. Yeah, I'm an AI. Again? Again? What do you mean again?
[00:02:32] I feel like the AI really didn't have, didn't put everything into it tonight. Well, my thing was, was it exactly the same video? No, I don't think so. There was like some parts that seemed like it. Others that were copy paste.
[00:02:51] There's a lot of things that seem copy paste tonight, QT. You know, luckily we can rewind and check. We can rewind and check. Yes. Okay. All right. Taren, the main event tonight, live feeds coming on 1am Eastern, 10am, 10pm Pacific. Is that correct? Yes.
[00:03:12] And I will be live on Twitch starting a 24 hour marathon stream watching the first day of feed. So come and join me. All right. Get ready. Okay. Of course, back with us tonight to talk about it all. Chappelle, Chappelle, how are you? Hey, I'm good.
[00:03:30] You know, despite watching the same show twice in a row, I still am very, very happy that Big Brother is back. I thought, okay, I'm not, I'm into it. The preseason started. We're all hype. I saw the AI stuff. I saw yesterday's episode.
[00:03:46] But again, it's something about being a part of this fandom on Twitter, complaining about this kind of stuff that just really gets me going. So yeah, I'm here and I'm ready. Let's talk about it again. You are energized. I am. I really am.
[00:03:59] You know, I don't know what it's about either. Again, like I said, the show disappoints me year after year, but I'm a glutton for punishment. I think I kind of like it. It might be a kink. I don't know. But I'm here every time complaining, disappointed, sad.
[00:04:12] And then when the show goes away, I'm waiting for it to come all the way back. It's Big Brother season, baby. We're back. Okay. And we're very excited to have a certified AI expert here to help us deal with what's going on in the Big Brother house.
[00:04:29] She dealt with an AI competitor on the latest season of The Circle. Please welcome QT. QT, how are you? I'm doing good. I wouldn't call myself necessarily an AI certified expert because I did not guess the AI right in my season. So I don't know.
[00:04:48] Would you have voted for AI to come into the game? If I knew it was AI, absolutely not. Well, I guess I wouldn't vote for anyone to come in the game no matter what. Like at the end of the day, we're trying to get people.
[00:05:00] We're trying to dwindle the numbers down, not add more. So no matter what, I wouldn't have added someone. But it would have been to my detriment. Okay. All right. Well, QT, so nice to have you here to talk about this all.
[00:05:14] And for our listeners at home, a couple of things. Really two options for our listeners here tonight. Option number one is that we want to have you recreate the challenge from tonight. So please place your face up to whatever screen you are watching the podcast on, whether it's
[00:05:38] your phone, whether it's your television, your computer to see how you can do that. Or you can make sure you're subscribed to the podcast by hitting the subscribe button here on YouTube or making sure you're subscribed to our podcast feed at robhasawebsite.com
[00:05:55] slash BB feed to get your links to subscribe. Either way, you could do either one. What if I'm already subscribed, Rob? Do I have to? Is this? Get it, Terry. Yeah, that's either one. You could do either one.
[00:06:11] You know, if you're already subscribed, you have to make sure you like the video. Okay. Rob, you hear that sound? What's that? Now I feel like a fool. Yeah. You hear that? That's the sound of all of Terrence fans licking the screen. You heard it. Yeah.
[00:06:28] They were ready. You should probably do this challenge because you're always like, put it on the glass. Put it on the glass. Put it on the face. That's definitely me. I thought this challenge was dumb, but I'm sure we're going to talk about that and the
[00:06:41] other challenge a lot more later on. Okay. We had a busy day on Friday. We got a lot of big brother coming your way. First off, Terrence is going to do 24 hours. By the way, Terrence, you chose to do this because then I get like messages from people
[00:06:55] like, why do you make Terrence stay up 24 hours? Yeah, I did choose to do it, Rob. That's what you told me to say, right? That was last weekend. I thought made everybody stay up for a long time. That's true. That's true. You maybe do it twice.
[00:07:14] I was there. I stayed up for a long time. I don't get enough credit for my participation in the red. Yeah. Yeah. But typically during the time when we started, I would have been sleep. So it kind of balanced itself out. Okay.
[00:07:27] Well, we had a very busy day. The first live feed update is going to be tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. We have a special podcast at one, correct? Where we are going to be talking with the creators of Jetlag about the first episode
[00:07:41] of the first week of Big Brother. Correct? Ben and Adam will be joining us because listen, I made the mistake of forcing them to watch Big Brother for the first time. Big mistake. They shouldn't have done that. And so tomorrow they will join us.
[00:08:00] And let us know their thoughts on Big Brother. Yeah. Based on these two episodes. And they will probably regret it. Okay, that's going to be at one o'clock with Sasha. We're going to do that podcast live.
[00:08:13] And then at three o'clock on the patron feed, we will have the first episode of the BBQ&A, our patron call-in show. Taryn and I will take your questions about everything we learn once the feeds go up. Maybe we'll know the HOH and much more.
[00:08:28] Our first of our weekly appointments to take the questions. And then for the patrons on Monday, we'll get into the slop all season long with Chappelle. Yes. It's about to get sloppy. We do this for the patrons only because it's where I can be a little unfiltered.
[00:08:48] You know what I'm saying? On the public podcast, people come in, they're looking to be mad about what I'm saying. They're coming in and be like, you're being mean to the contestants. Don't talk about this. Don't talk about that. Listen, behind the paywall, it gets sloppy.
[00:09:02] And we're about to talk about all of that and more. I'm sure there's going to be a ton of slop this week. But throughout the entire season, we're going to be here doing it. So you got to become a patron. It's at patreon.com. Yep.
[00:09:15] So what Chappelle is saying is that telling people to lick the screen was not sloppy and filtered. Yeah, that was the tip of the iceberg. It gets nasty. It gets sloppy. I'm just saying. Okay. All right.
[00:09:33] So Taryn and I got to talk about this a little bit last night. Chappelle, what's your reaction to watching two nights of this exact format? It's tough. It is tough.
[00:09:45] Like Taryn was alluding to, telling somebody to watch Big Brother who have no interest or no knowledge of what Big Brother is can be very harmful to that person. It can make you also look very crazy because only we appreciate this.
[00:09:58] We're here because even though we're getting bullied by this show, we keep coming back. We love it so much. And so they can do stuff like this. Sometimes we're the bullies and sometimes we get bullied also. But it's kind of like reciprocal, right?
[00:10:11] You know, like if they bully us, we can bully back. And I think that for us, this is normal. It's abnormal, but we ain't going nowhere. So this is our normal. You bring in extra people, they start looking at it. They're like, why are you watching this show?
[00:10:23] This is crazy. What are you doing? But for me, this felt like right. This felt like the same exact thing that we do every single year. When we look at you, we see home.
[00:10:32] Look, I'm just saying it's one of those situations where this is the Big Brother that we have. It's the Big Brother we've always had for a number of years at this point. We're not changing it up anymore. You know, it is what it is.
[00:10:44] I don't want no substitute. Baby, I swear it's deja vu. I feel like people asking, like, why do you watch Big Brother? Like if they saw these two episodes, they're like, why do you watch Big Brother?
[00:10:56] I think my answer would probably be like, so 15 years ago, Big Brother 10. Let me tell you about BB2. Have you ever seen BB3? Yeah. QT, what's your history with Big Brother? So I started watching Big Brother, Big Brother 21. So you stayed watching it. Yeah.
[00:11:21] So in my opinion, a bad season or a bad episode of Big Brother is better than no Big Brother at all. So honestly, I feel like I'm a Big Brother apologist. Like no matter what they can't do any wrong, I will continue to watch it all the time.
[00:11:34] But I'm really here for the live feeds like these two episodes. OK, that's great. Whatever. But the live feeds, once that starts, it takes over my life. Also today. So because I was going to be on the recap episode for the first time, Big Brother, yay.
[00:11:46] I was like, oh, I'm going to take some notes, do my due diligence. Yeah, how did you do? I took only notes on... I don't even know if you can see it. This was the only notes that I took because everything else is the same.
[00:11:56] I just took notes on the new people that we met today. Yeah. All right. Well, we appreciate it giving it a try. But this was... they gave us crumbs here tonight. But we'll recap the crumbs. Rob, QT's right. Some Big Brother is better than no Big Brother.
[00:12:13] Pour some out for Big Brother Canada. Look, we can complain all we want, but we back. Tell CBS we coming back. Keep them live feeds coming. We will be back because I'm not ready for them to take this away from us yet. It's getting wacky. It's getting crazy.
[00:12:28] But I actually I think I connected with some of the cast members tonight. So I need more of this. I need more Big Brother content. Chappelle, what do you think about that? How you took the rewind function away from the Big Brother live feeds?
[00:12:42] Oh, yeah. I was devastated for Taron. You know, like it was not... this doesn't affect me at all. I watch the feeds based on like people tell me go to the feeds real quick. I go. People say, hey, there's something going on. I go to the timeline.
[00:12:56] I go to Twitter. I'm one of those people who will... I let other people curate. You don't watch any reruns on the feeds? No, I'm not going back. Everybody, the people who are more dedicated to that portion of Big Brother
[00:13:07] than I am will make that happen for me. But as far as them taking away the rewind feature, it is a little curious. You know, I'm not quite sure what they trying to keep us from going back
[00:13:18] and seeing who you trying to protect, you know, but it's okay because I have faith in this fan base. We are insane. If there is something that you're hiding, we gonna find it. We gonna find it and they're gonna record it and they're gonna put it on Twitter
[00:13:30] and we all gonna see it. All right, Julie, 10 moon bands. But we gonna get to the bottom of this one. Good luck. Okay. All right. Period. All right. Another I told people about a hack to get a VCR and then you can record. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
[00:13:52] What is what is that? Yeah, it's a device. Yeah, it's a device to record video on videotapes. Another I've got another one. It's called DVR DVR. Yeah, that's if you have a TVO, you can hook that up. And then another one.
[00:14:08] If you have a ring doorbell, you point it at the TV. Think about it, QT. So you put the doorbell inside the house or you put the TV outside the house? I'm really I'm hot. I'm trying to follow Rob, but I'm struggling. Either one will work.
[00:14:24] Okay, so my TV is on my porch and then what? Yeah. And then you get then you could just go back and you watch. You could see what happened at any point during the day. Okay, I think I'm going to say, yeah, I think we're going to.
[00:14:38] I'm going to say no. But what I will advocate for is if you're new here, Taryn is going to update us on everything. So we don't have to do it. That's the best part of this. Terrence, every morning, Terrence Armstrong, he talks big brother.
[00:14:50] Ring doorbell and the VCR. He's going to need it. He's going to need it. They're making his job exponentially harder and it's OK because Rob said that he will do it and tomorrow he will do it again. All right, let's talk about this new cast of eight.
[00:15:06] All right, here we go. Here's Quinn and Quinn. I think we expected Quinn to be quirky, but I thought that Quinn was even quirkier than we imagined. I don't know. I felt like this was relatively the amount of quirkiness I was expecting.
[00:15:25] What what specifically did quirk to you out? You know, I guess that Quinn is just so interesting that is in a band but also runs 20 miles a week, has Guinness Books of World Records, but also is a super fan. Like I feel like Quinn has great balance.
[00:15:49] Quinn has great endurance. Quinn is fast and Quinn still barely beat Leah in that challenge. Yeah, Quinn was interesting. I love Quinn. I love Quinn. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready to stand. I'm ready. Just come in the house, work with Leah. Make my life easy.
[00:16:12] I love when my faves work together. I don't need them fighting. Go fight the other people. Fight the people I'm not rooting for. But based on what I saw from Quinn tonight, I'm on board.
[00:16:20] I think Quinn is one of us, you know, so they be in the Big Brother streets as well. I'm rooting for him. I just need to see, you know, some more. I think Quinn kind of came in relaxing. Leah too, honestly.
[00:16:33] I think they were both kind of chilling. They seemed like they were just kind of giggling their way through the challenge. I'm convinced that Leah might have taken a substance or two before coming on the show as well.
[00:16:41] Maybe that might have influenced her because she's kind of, she's a little spacey on this episode. But for the most part, I was very happy with both Quinn and Leah. Yeah. QT, are we in the golden age of Q reality TV names? I think we are.
[00:16:55] I actually did an interview with, it was me, Q from Drag Race and Q from Survivor did an interview together because we were like the Qs of reality TV on at one time. And now we have to add Quinn to the group.
[00:17:07] Also in Quinn's intro package, did he mention that he's looking for like a tall WNBA star or something? Yeah, he said I need me a Mackenzie. Yeah, when you guys were talking about Mackenzie and who she can end up with, no one mentioned Quinn.
[00:17:23] Yeah. Now she said she's looking for a guy who's 6'5". Is it possible that maybe she just read the card backwards and was looking for a guy who's 5'6"? Honestly, probably. Actually, probably not. That's probably about as close as she'll get in the Big Brother house. Yeah.
[00:17:44] Did we get a height check on Matt? I don't think so. He didn't seem to stand, I didn't notice him standing like taller above the crowd. If 6'2 is kind of like the level that Cam and Mackenzie are at, I didn't notice that he seemed taller.
[00:18:04] Yeah. He can wear her down over the summer. You come into the Big Brother house with standards. When you said that, my first thought was like he can wear himself up, like he can gain some inches over time. Start wearing some heels again? I don't know. Maybe.
[00:18:27] But also Mackenzie's 6'2", and she has heels on right now, like in the intro, so she's going to be like standing a little bit shorter than we're seeing right now. So maybe Matt is taller than her. I don't know. We'll see.
[00:18:39] If only we could see all the house guests at one time. Wait a week, everybody! So Rob, I have been sent at least one tweet of Quinn's indicating that he is a consumer of live feed updates. Oh, okay. We knew he had taste.
[00:18:59] I like the idea that Quinn could be a challenge beast and thinks that he is. He said several times over, like, I got this challenge beast in me.
[00:19:09] I see Matt as this all-American sports-looking guy, but he's thinking that he's going to be the challenge beast, but it's really me. And so Quinn starting off the season with a win, I think, bodes well for Quinn moving forward.
[00:19:22] If, you know, I mean, the alternative is the downgrade, which we find out tonight is completely awful. I mean, this is the worst thing that can happen to somebody who's early in the game, except for probably getting just voted out immediately.
[00:19:34] Okay, well, we'll get there, Chappelle. Listen, Chappelle, we do not have that much to go through. There's a ton of stuff to talk to. Rob, first, we have to start. Did you notice that this Ainsley person, she's not a real person.
[00:19:46] She's a robot. Did you see that part? Yes. Julie keeps referring to her as Ainsley, like, Ainsley's got some surprises for the house. It takes me a second every time to remember who she's even talking about. I'm like, why does Mackenzie have things to say to the house?
[00:20:05] Oh, Ainsley, right. Okay, Ainsley's the AI. Okay. Also, when Julie talks to Ainsley, it feels like Julie is acting as well. She's like, well, Ainsley, do you have anything to say? And it's like, normal.
[00:20:18] No, I feel bad for Julie because Julie has been replaced and Julie is trying very hard to act like she has not been replaced as the host of the show. But Ainsley is telling the house guests things and Julie has to resort to saying things after Ainsley talks.
[00:20:38] Ainsley was not joking. I can confirm that your games have indeed been downgraded. Nobody said Ainsley was joking. I was like, oh, is she serious, Julie? No, that wasn't a joke. That was ad-libbed by Julie to be like, oh, hey, I am the official source of this.
[00:21:00] Ainsley's not, I can confirm, Ainsley can't, I will confirm to you that this is the case. If anybody's going to be AI, it's me, Julie. That's who, you know, they were sitting there and looking at Ainsley like, okay, we get it.
[00:21:14] But Julie had to just remind us that she needs this job. You know, summers are hard. And also, you know, she is a bot, the Timbot. You know, we already have one.
[00:21:24] And so we brought in this new sexy AI thing and I think that it might be stealing our jobs. Look, I meant like sexy in the version of like, it's newish.
[00:21:33] And if you're into that blue thing, like the Avatar people, I think you might like that kind of stuff. If you're into blue, you know? If you're into blue, then grab some Clorox wipes and some dryer sheets and get it on.
[00:21:44] I feel like soon we're going to have a season of a show, maybe like Traders or something, where they bring in only the AI people from these shows. Like Max from The Circle, Ainsley from Big Brother. Like there's going to be enough.
[00:21:57] How much of the AI you think could happen, QT? How much of the AI? That's a good one. Yeah, I could see it. Wow. Okay. They said it couldn't be done, Rob. All right. They said it shouldn't be done.
[00:22:10] And that's the problem with Big Brother. Sometimes we just don't take the hint. Last night we asked where Brooklyn at? She's here tonight. She's moved into the house. Pageant coach Brooklyn. Mm hmm. Brooklyn is like you see this archetype of person in Texas a lot.
[00:22:34] You're like the power mom. She's got a bunch of kids. She's super competitive. All her kids are in like all the sports. But she's like she low key could be the face of the family, too. But she's like chosen to be a mother.
[00:22:44] Like, oh, no, no, I'm hoisting my kids into the spotlight. But deep down, she can have her own television show. I could see her spinning off to like a TLC type series or something like that where it's just like Brooklyn and the family.
[00:22:56] Because it gives like the Janelle evolved form, you know, like not the Janelle we got at first, right? The season six Janelle. But when Janelle came back from All Stars, I'm like, I do real estate. I have kids, but I'm still a copy.
[00:23:10] It's very much that they went to the Janelle school of casting and plucked her right out. I'm sure they have similar politics to. Oh, gosh. Classy, sassy and bad assy. That part. Sure. Mm hmm.
[00:23:28] I will say I feel like I was pretty low on Brooklyn from like her interviews and stuff and things we found out of people who she's connected with. But just watching her intro video, I she surprised me a little bit. More than I expected.
[00:23:42] Like, I think I liked her a little bit more in the intro than I anticipated. I would. I don't know. We'll see. Yeah, I think she's going to be good in the game. Like, I think that she's going to come in.
[00:23:53] I mean, I guess she could run too hot, but I see a world where I feel like that she's going to be good in the competitions and hopefully she's, you know, can not piss too many people off. But I think that she's going to be able to.
[00:24:08] I feel like that she's going to have a soft landing here in the house. I think so. I mean, unless she pisses off the wrong, you know, you know, I think oftentimes a big brother will see somebody who comes in
[00:24:21] with a lot of promise, but they piss off the wrong person who got in power very early and you're like, oh no, they see the same thing in that person that we saw, which is somebody who would be good in competition,
[00:24:30] who seems likable enough, who who knows the game or something like that. Very competitive. And they immediately will go and target them. A lot like maybe a Taylor Hale or something like that, you know, where you see somebody say, oh, OK, well, there's too much charisma
[00:24:44] and like, you know, competitive spirit coming from that person. We need to go in and stomp them out early on. And, you know, I could see that happening to Brooklyn very early if she isn't able to kind of ease her way into either
[00:24:56] a really strong position of power or find some type of insulated alliance to guard her, because I think if you're lining up threats, she would probably be pretty high on it once you see how athletic she is. Yeah, we'll see what the big alliance ends up being.
[00:25:11] And if she ends up not being in it, that's where, you know, as like a comp threat, she definitely could find herself if she goes out early. I suspect that's going to be how it goes. All right. Let's talk about Matt. Matt's a bowhunter.
[00:25:24] He hikes, camps. He's looking for showmans. Yeah, I feel like he wants to be on Love Island. Not Matt. Hmm. You guys see him flirting with Julie? Well, not really flirting, but as he like walked into the door, he was like, love you, Julie. Yes, go off, Matt.
[00:25:47] He's a character. He exists. You know, we've seen a lot of Matt types before on the show. I'm hoping that he's able to show us something different. Surprise us, Matt. Because all the things we saw in his intro package, I was like, sounds about right.
[00:26:01] We got to meet Lisa also tonight. Celebrity chef, the Vibes curator, Taryn. Did we learn anything new about Lisa? Not really. Yeah, I don't know. I feel I feel like in terms of cast introductions, I felt like yesterday was a lot stronger.
[00:26:20] This time around, I felt like I just I wasn't getting quite as much. From the from the cast. Do you think they stacked night one with the people that were had better intros? Maybe. Did y'all when y'all watched Lisa's interviews,
[00:26:37] did she come off like a fan of the show or does she seem like somebody who they just kind of found? I think that's tough. That's the only one in my notes that I have no notes for. She's like 10 out of 10. I like 10 out of 10.
[00:26:53] No notes for Lisa. She gave me absolutely nothing. I was like even watching her throughout the competition portion and everything. It was just very boring. I mean, I will say that I feel like it's hard to talk about any of these
[00:27:06] people right now because we've only seen their intros. I haven't even seen how they interact with people. I mean, literally half of the episode, they're just standing there in these boxes listening to Ainsley talk. So we're not getting much from them anyway.
[00:27:18] But even from the little bit I got from Lisa, I was like, I wouldn't mind seeing her go early. She seems like she's pretty fun to hang out with outside the house. She's like wandering the beach shoeless. She makes the food. She makes the experiences.
[00:27:33] Yeah, curates the vibes. She coined that phrase. I'd never heard vibe curator before tonight. That was the first time ever. She's definitely Lisa. She's so creative. So yeah, I think that outside the house, she's probably a good time. But will that translate to gameplay inside the house?
[00:27:47] I guess we'll have to wait and find out. Okay, let's talk about QT said you think it'll be hard to talk about any of these people for a long time. Well, let's see what we can come up with about Leah. The star of now too?
[00:28:07] Yeah, in my notes I have she is mother. Mother. Entrepreneur. Seller of underwear. Not too many Big Brother women sell underwear before they go on Big Brother. Some do. Well, I was going to push back against that a little bit. These last few seasons. Those bathing suits.
[00:28:32] Yeah, but I feel like it's in the same kind of vein as like, okay, we need somebody who sells, you know, scantily clad clothing for women, you know what I'm saying? Something like that. And I don't know how you recruit these people.
[00:28:42] Right. You got to be in Miami. You got to have like some type of bathing suit line or underwear this time. But Leah, oh, the Twitter sleuths are out there. They found out Leah is one of us. She's a fan. She's a fan.
[00:28:54] She's a fan. She's a fan of one of Big Brother. You know, many things. Okay. So Leah also gave us this news tonight. I am a self-proclaimed chubby chaser. I love my fluffy men whenever they lose a pound. I get sick to my stomach. Wow.
[00:29:17] Yeah, for her, honestly. Made me feel a little bit better about myself over here. I was like, okay, somebody's somebody out there still looking, still looking out for us. It's hard out here. The part that I really was struck by was that
[00:29:32] that these fluffy men, every time they lose a pound, she gets sick to her stomach. It's crazy. Maybe she's eating the food that they're not eating and it's not sitting well. Yeah, she's going to be losing a few pounds if she keeps doing that.
[00:29:54] She likes what she likes. Nobody likes to see you. Somebody walks in and they did a full package of what you want. And then they start to get rid of that. They start to Ozympic a little bit. And then you're like, wait, don't do that.
[00:30:07] Oh, she hates Ozympic. Oh, she hates it. She's an anti-influencer for Ozympic. When she gets out, she's going to start a war on it pretty soon. I'm ready. I'm supporting her. I'm sorry. Right now, Leah and Quinn, they're my number ones for this season.
[00:30:20] Yeah, she'll be selling like the tummy T plus. Yes, fat tummy T. The opposite. The new mass gainer. Round tummy T. I think it's just Coca-Cola. That's the beauty of it. It could be a lot of things. Yeah. All right.
[00:30:41] She also told us that she's ready to manipulate the men in the house. And she's actually a little shocked about one thing. I can't even believe a guy has ever won Big Brother ever because guys are so easy to manipulate.
[00:30:55] She can't believe a guy has ever won Big Brother. For that line alone, I stand Leah. Leah. Yes. I stand Leah because of that line. I can't believe it. A lot of people say, I can't believe so many guys are winning Big Brother. Yeah, mostly.
[00:31:16] Mostly guys are winning Big Brother, unfortunately. You know, I think Leah probably was on to something. Look, if she thinks more than me, she's probably on to something. I think Leah is on to something. Look, if she thinks more women should win Big Brother, you go Leah.
[00:31:34] But if men are so easy to manipulate, they got to manipulate harder because the stats are just not reflecting Leah's... They're putting too many skinny guys on Big Brother. Need bigger guys. Need some chubby ones so that Leah can really stand.
[00:31:48] I see you. I see what you're getting at. Do we think Leah is going to form an all-girls alliance to go against the guys? She can't be that crazy. I don't know if she's a fan, maybe not. But I was assuming she might try something.
[00:32:02] I think you got to leave that door open like you got to let other people bring it to you. Yeah, I think the key is like with an all-girls alliance, it's not all of the women, but it can consist only of women if you want. That's the key.
[00:32:20] The women that you choose are the... That's the part that really gets them caught up because they had all the women. You get the girls, girls, and then you get the not-girls, girls.
[00:32:30] And then you get some other stuff happening and it normally doesn't work out for that women's alliance. Typically, it doesn't. All right. Leah is a star. OK, we'll see where she goes from here. Let's talk about Cedric, former Marine of the Year?
[00:32:45] I didn't know there was such a thing. It's a pretty prestigious honor. Does that mean there's also Marine of the Month? I think you have to be Marine of the Month first. And then you get the best parking spot, I think, also. Yeah. Marine of the Year?
[00:33:01] Was he a Marine for a year? Like he's 20 years old. That's what he meant. I was a Marine one year. Maybe he misspoke. Chappelle, his nickname, we find out, is Playboy. Nope, he made that up. He made that up. Don't get me wrong. He has the nickname Playboy.
[00:33:22] He will get that for himself. That's his nickname. No, no. It's his nickname for himself. For him. Yeah, they called me Playboy. Who is that? That would be me. I call me Playboy. Well, not only is he called Playboy,
[00:33:42] he's also looking for maybe an older woman in the house. I might need an older lady to kind of come in and say today, pick me up. Pick me up is crazy. In walks Angela. Pick me up. Send him to Milf Manor, you cowards. Right.
[00:34:03] I love all the dating preferences of everyone this season. Like they're so out there. They're not like stereotypical, you know? Playboy would kill it on Milf Manor. Oh yeah. He's like, yeah, Kelly, disco mommy, pick me up. Burp me. Pick me up.
[00:34:20] Bounce me on your knee, you know? Because I'm a baby. Okay. Grandma's his best friend. Yeah, I think the thing that concerns me about Cedric here in his intro at least is that he's talking about like, I'm such a natural leader.
[00:34:35] You know, I'll use those skills in the Big Brother house. And it's like he is the youngest person there. Like at 21 years old, you cannot be a leader in the Big Brother. That's just not how it works. Mm hmm. You can't look. I'm old. I'm old.
[00:34:53] You can lead me to showing me how to work that Tick Tock that you'll be working. But that's about it. I don't know. You're talking about. Well, that's the thing. I'm getting this vibe from him that he was a Marine. He was very good Marine.
[00:35:07] He's also very young. He thinks he's going to be the leader. This feels like someone who's going to try to take control and it's going to be tough for someone like him to take control because there's a lot of grown folks in this house.
[00:35:17] You know, this is this house is skewing older than usual, it seems. And we have some other people who probably aren't used to other people being in control, especially not 22 year olds. So good luck to Cedric. But I don't see it for him right now.
[00:35:31] But hopefully he can, you know, start to show us something different and stick around for a little bit. I do feel like he's going to be able to mask how smart he is and how much of a leader and if he doesn't bring up the whole
[00:35:44] Marine stuff in the classified or whatever, because even in just watching him, he just seems so young and juvenile. And if I didn't know that he was a Marine and had all these accolades in it, I would just assume he's just this like young, naive child.
[00:35:56] So hopefully he can just lean more into that. But it seems like he can, because that's like what he's giving in his videos until he tells us about all the stuff that he's done. So I feel pretty good about Cedric, honestly, after
[00:36:08] this. Well, he is one of the people that is going to be disadvantaged by the end of the episode. And we could talk about the ramifications of that because coming into the first week of last season, it was something
[00:36:22] that certainly got a couple people off on the wrong foot to start Big Brother 25. Mm hmm. Not great. Not great. OK, all right. Let's talk about T-Core. And her hats. And her hats. She likes to crochet. We didn't get a lot from T-Core.
[00:36:43] We got a lot about her kind of like how she was growing up. She's from London and she's from South Side of Chicago. She's got a lot going on. She got two moms that are cool. You know, she seems like she's got like a business in this
[00:36:55] crochet thing. Michelle Obama says she had good crochet skills. But I don't know anything about T-Core, the Big Brother player yet. And I'm still waiting to find out. Yeah, I like the idea of T-Core and like everything she brings, the accent, the London of it all, the crochet.
[00:37:11] I just got into crocheting recently. Oh, what have you made, QT? I've made half of two separate blankets. I just get like so over it after a while. It takes so much patience. Why don't you put them together? Because they're completely different yarns and different colors
[00:37:29] and everything. It's just like I get bored because I'm sitting there for a long time doing the same thing. And it's like, OK, I want something new. Wait till the live feeds come on. I know. That's why I started it, honestly.
[00:37:39] I was like, this is going to be a good live feeding kind of thing to do while I do it. But yeah, so I love all of that from T-Core. But like Chabelle said, she didn't give me much as like the big brother player.
[00:37:49] But as a person, I really like her. So hopefully she's able to like use that to her advantage and connect with people in the house on more of like a personal level. But I don't know how game savvy she's going to be yet.
[00:38:00] Also, I felt so bad in the competition she was doing her makeup and her lipstick was smearing all over the little glass. And I feared that would literally be me. It's tough. QT, if you could make some kind of like Big Brother 26
[00:38:13] quilt, I feel like that that would be a real coveted item at the end of the season of like each week. You know what? You're smart. Maybe I will. Maybe I'll make a Rob has a podcast bell. I'll try to make that in it. Yeah. Weave it in.
[00:38:31] It would be incredible. And then at the end of the season, we'd have like this huge mural of like all the weeks of the season. Oh my gosh, wait, I'm actually going to do this. This is a good idea.
[00:38:41] I mean, every week, the new section of the quilt would be. Look, can't spell quilt without QT. Can't spell quilt without QT. You can have that. And then when T-Core wins, you can present it to her. Yes. Oh my gosh. And I'll get her on my side.
[00:39:00] She'll wear it like a cape when she comes out of the house. Oh gosh. Maybe I'll finally put up a blanket with this. Yeah. And if she gets voted out, we'll blanket in it. Yeah. A multipurpose. Multipurpose. All right. We got Kenny. Kenny's coming in.
[00:39:22] He's a Boston police sergeant. He's married to Renee. She's a huge Big Brother fan. Shout out to Renee if you're watching. And he's got a master plan. He's coming in the house and he's not telling anybody that he is an underdog. He's an undercover police officer.
[00:39:41] Never seen that been done before. No one's going to think I'm a cop. And it's a foolproof plan. Where could it go wrong? This man, I have all faith in him that literally nobody in this house is going to ever see this man coming in as a cop.
[00:39:55] I mean, look at him. He doesn't look like a cop. He doesn't have any identifiable tattoos. He probably doesn't talk like a cop. Yeah. So I mean, what could go wrong here, Kenny? You go, Kenny. All he's got to do is just not tell anybody for 90 days. Yeah.
[00:40:09] Also, maybe wear long sleeve shirts. It would be my favorite thing if it out of all of the things that could get him caught as a cop. It's the tattoo somehow that was the first indicator. Mm hmm. The an American flag tattoo is low key.
[00:40:28] A tattoo that just says I'm a cop. You know, like I just I feel like there are certain things. There's certain avatars on Twitter that look like that tattoo. And you know who you're talking to. And so that's all I caught it. So Playboy got him.
[00:40:41] I have to stop with the Playboy. Why make it happen? That's his name. That's what people call it. That's what people call him. He's going to be like Swaggy C this whole season. He's going to be like, I'm Playboy.
[00:40:54] And in this big brother game, I plan on making a lot is me. Playboy such and such. Yeah, they're going to work. They call me Playboy. But I ain't playing. You know, I'm not playing. I'm not playing. I'm not playing. I'm not playing. I'm not playing.
[00:41:13] I'm not playing. I'm not playing. I'm not playing. I'm not playing. Ooh, yeah, it's like Playboy Cardi now. Yeah, OK. I can't not be hopping on the Playboy. Yes, Playboy, Chappelle. What I will say about Penny is that I'm
[00:41:33] going to watch a show with him and then he got on the show instead of. Yeah, by the way. He's never auditioning for a show. Oh, my gosh. Can you imagine him living my dream? I would die. What if what if he has the wrong opinions?
[00:41:48] What if he starts watching Big Brother? He's like, you know, I really like I'm really a big fan of this. I don't know. Sovereign Six. I like the friendship better. I'm kind of a friendship guy. That's the test.
[00:42:03] You gotta make him, you gotta see who he goes up for. And then when you see, that's how you know if he's dateable or not. Yeah, it's a great way to test as well. Be like, oh yeah, like you loved season 19, right? Yeah, yeah.
[00:42:19] I loved it, you loved it too? Oh, you did, interesting, interesting. Gotcha. Yeah. Okay, this is a good test to find out if he's boyfriend material or husband material. Husband material has the same thoughts as me. I'm big brother. And doesn't go on the show.
[00:42:34] And doesn't go on the show. Let's talk about the people who did go into the show. The second group moves into the house. It's Quinn, T-Core, Matt and Leah. They move in and we just get to see a little bit of them bonding with each other.
[00:42:55] That Matt says one of you smelled so good. Who was he talking about? I think he was trying to flirt with Leah for sure. Like, right? Oh. Yeah. So when the feeds come on tonight, QT, they already. They're in bed together. That's who. Leah wants a chubby chaser.
[00:43:17] Yeah. Yeah, he's not chubby. Yeah, that might save us from a possible showmance this time because I don't think they put anybody who fits her criteria in the house. Yeah. Yeah, well, he's got 90 days. He can wear her down. Yeah, he can put on some weight.
[00:43:36] He can put on some weight. He can walk up. Yeah. They can like eat a lot in the house. By the time we get to the end, there might be some chubby chasers, you never know. Okay. Somebody's like eating dinner
[00:43:46] and they overhear her saying that and they're just like. Can I have another? All right. Then we had our second group come in. Cedric, Lisa, Kenny and Brooklyn. This is when Cedric and Kenny are bonding but Cedric spots that tattoo. Yeah.
[00:44:10] Again, if you plan on keeping this a secret, maybe that right there, that's probably not gonna do you any favors. You know? Listen, he comes in with the excuse, you ever hear of AmeriCori? I'm a huge fan. AmeriCori Nation stand up. Isn't that the official symbol of AmeriCori?
[00:44:31] Yes. AmeriCori stand. Yes. I like it. I like it because I have a pecan on it. Yeah. The live feed starts tonight, Rob. Yup. What's the over under, like what are the odds that everyone knows Kenny is a cop when the live feed starts? Everyone?
[00:44:50] I don't think that everyone knows but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a subject of conversation. Okay. Like permeating throughout the house. Well, we could also see an alliance, like a military alliance, because I think he saw that, he's like, okay, American flag,
[00:45:05] maybe this is something, you know, that's up Cedric's alley because he was a former member of the military as well. So maybe him and Kenny are gonna try to link up, especially with Cedric being in a position where he really ain't got a lot to do this week.
[00:45:20] He gets to be a cheerleader. He gets to be a mascot, but he can have a target on his back. He could be, I mean, he's basically a sitting duck. And so he needs all the alliances that he can get. Yeah.
[00:45:32] Especially Kenny has a sweet spot for Cedric as he reminds him of his son. So maybe he, Cedric has an ally in Kenny. Maybe he doesn't want to blow up his spot. All right. Ainsley is back and the time to vote her back into the house.
[00:45:50] QT, would you have voted for Ainsley to come in? No, I, okay. I don't know. Like part of, I can't talk. I feel like Ainsley right now, I'm like breaking down. So part of me thinks that I would vote Ainsley in
[00:46:04] just because her video seemed so like forced. And I feel like if I was in there, I would be so skeptical about everything. And I would feel like maybe this is some kind of twist and I need to bring her into the game.
[00:46:18] But then as like a player just going in, I would feel like I don't want to invite some new player in no matter who it is. So I wouldn't want to. So I'm not sure, but I think ultimately I probably wouldn't vote her back in
[00:46:30] or not back into the game, vote her into the game at all. I was thinking about this after yesterday's episode and I was leaning toward what QT is saying. It's like, why do I need an extra person to compete against? And I think Melissa changed my mind.
[00:46:43] I think it's that connection that we have to one person mechanics where, you saw somebody sitting there at the finish line who could have got voted in and you denied them the chance. It's like, yeah, I want to win, but also can I really do this to you?
[00:46:58] Can I have that on my conscious that I sent you home like this? Because what if you never get another chance, right? And I think it also could be beneficial. If it's a close vote and you win the vote, you can say, all right, well,
[00:47:11] those people didn't want you in. You should work with me. You know what I'm saying? Like, I know you're an easy vote out because you just came in, you came in last, but you know, work with me. We can kind of insulate ourselves together.
[00:47:22] So I think there's probably some benefits, but I will not lie and say that like Leah, like I knew that it would have been a good idea to keep voting Ainsley into the house because I would have never guessed
[00:47:33] that this could have actually helped or hurt your game, especially in the way that it's about to hurt Cedric's. Taryn, Ainsley did worse tonight, right? Yeah, six to two this time. Ainsley's poll numbers are going down. Some are saying she's too blue. Yeah.
[00:47:56] See, there's nothing wrong with being blue. I also feel like Ainsley, well, I guess it's not a real person. She was following the script, but Ainsley could have said some different things that could have convinced people to bring her. Like she was saying that she's a super fan
[00:48:09] and oh my gosh, I've been watching this game since the beginning where people like Matt said that they were going to target super fans of the show. So like, no, I'm not going to bring someone in that obviously knows the show really well,
[00:48:20] especially if half of those people haven't watched since they were four years old. They're going to feel like Ainsley's going to have the upper hand. So I feel like the script could have been better to get more people to say yes. Chappelle, what could Ainsley have said
[00:48:31] to get in the house tonight? Ooh, it'd have been tough. It would have been tough. I think she got to start name dropping people there. Cause like for me, she's like, oh yeah, my mom, Seri, told me to come apply for this show.
[00:48:46] I'm like, let her in, let her in, let her in. I need to be a part of the Fields family. Let's take this one to the end. You know, if she has to make it, she has to make it appealing for the people who are voting, you know?
[00:48:57] She just being like, this is my dream. I like to surf. I want to get a surf board. Like that don't do nothing for me. If you are an actual player there, like there's maybe some validity to the idea of saying like,
[00:49:09] I would love to come into the game and anyone that votes for me, I will be so loyal to you. How loyal? Cause then there's a little bit of fear that like, what if I'm not, what if the no votes aren't enough
[00:49:24] and I'm one of like three no votes and all of a sudden now I'm not linked to this person who's gonna be loyal to a group of five who just voted yes. Like there's a little self-interested calculation that then starts to think maybe there is some validity
[00:49:38] to the idea of voting yes. I think that if Ainsley really wanted to get into the house, she has to really appeal to the self-interest of all the players. And if she said maybe like, I'm so dumb, I'm an idiot. I don't even know anything about Big Brother.
[00:49:56] I'm a recruit. They're like, oh, this is easy pickings. I'm here for showmans. Did you know that the Big Brother house has more successful relationships than the Bachelor and the Bachelorette combined? I'm a chubby chaser. See that would instantly make me want her out
[00:50:14] because I don't want a showman. Yes. You don't, but them people in the house are like, no, I'm only in blue here. Yeah, like anybody that's not like eligible for a showman setting is not looking to like pull someone in that might get in one. Okay, yeah.
[00:50:30] All right. Maybe she could just lie and be like, there's a power that I have that I cannot use, but I can will it to one of y'all if I get in. But if you don't let me in, the power goes to the other group.
[00:50:40] And don't you, you don't want that to happen. So come on, let me in. You know, just if you really wanted to be in, I think it would come across and that's how nobody was fooled by this. Everybody could tell that this is some like shenanigans, right?
[00:50:52] Cause she sounded like she was reading from a script. And I think that if you've been dying for the moment to get on Big Brother, if this is your biggest dream or whatever, you would be jumping out of your skin.
[00:51:01] You would be so excited to be to tell people, please let me in. You'd be begging and pleading. QT, you would have done a better showing than this, right? A hundred percent. Oh my gosh. The waterworks would come out.
[00:51:11] Like I'd pull out any stops to get into that house. Seriously. I would, I'd honestly give up the money. She couldn't say that, but I'd be like, if I win the $750,000, I'll just give it to you guys. I just want to be in the house. Wow.
[00:51:28] I would be so scared of you if you said that. Okay, well this is good. We're workshopping it now. So if it ever happens, I know what to say. Ainsley says, I'm a huge influencer. I have 5 million followers on TikTok and I'll retweet all of you
[00:51:46] if you vote me into the house. I will follow you and I will get Pooch to follow you. It'll be a great time. And I will give you a follow back from Pooch. I could check. My sister's Ariana Grande. Have they already done that one? Yep. All right.
[00:52:02] It's been done. So we're going into the, back into the comps. Here we go. New comps tonight, Taryn. I'll tip my cap to the Big Brother producers. Did not think that there was a chance we'd have new comps tonight. Yeah. No, it probably speaks to our low expectations,
[00:52:20] but I was very happy to see that there was something new to look at and watch. So that was nice. I think that the downgrade comp in particular was, I think, okay, I'll say it. I think it was enjoyable, but I think the rules they had for it
[00:52:40] were incredibly stupid. Yes. Okay. Tell us more. Why was it a timed competition? Why was there a six minute, or sorry, 60 second time limit for a competition where placement matters? When like, it was like, okay, you'll get timed out at six minutes
[00:52:59] and we'll count how many things you've dropped in. And so it's like, for instance, the end result here, Cedric comes in last place despite the fact that from my limited perspective, at least, it looked like he was one of the closest people
[00:53:13] to getting a third disc in his third bucket. But because he was the slowest to get his second disc, he came in last place because he timed out. Whereas if they just let the competition run out, he's probably the first to finish the whole thing.
[00:53:26] And so like, just the way that they decided to do it was so weird because it's like, okay, you can't judge how far somebody got on the thing at the end of the time limit. It's just a weird way to do it. Just let them run the comp.
[00:53:37] Why are you limiting it to 60 seconds? I think they might've thought this was gonna be live. And so, you know, when it's live, you only have so much time. They're like, hey, we gotta rush through this. But no, instead they give us an edited version.
[00:53:51] You could have let them just play it out and then just edit out the parts we didn't need to see and just condensed it for the show. I mean, it's right there. I don't know. It was odd, but it was a different challenge and I like different.
[00:54:03] You know, we've been doing a lot of the same things over and over again on Big Brother for a very long time. This felt like, okay, something new and I'll go with it. Yeah, I like this challenge, Chappelle. It reminds me of when I used to go
[00:54:14] to the supermarket during COVID. How so? In what way? You'd be behind all the plastic, you know, the cashiers on the other side. Hopefully I'm rubbing your face up against it. Yeah. I think that's the part I'm missing. Yeah, remember those plastic up everywhere? Yeah. I agree though.
[00:54:38] I liked the actual competition a lot. It got me thinking about like, what is the best strategy for this? And it's certainly something that I think most people are capable of doing. And you know, there's different, I like theoretically different like face shapes
[00:54:57] and like for instance, a little bit of stubble, not great probably for traction, right? So, you know, like that's something to consider. It seemed like Lisa was the only one using her shoulder, which was apparently allowed. And that's, I think is a great strategy for people.
[00:55:13] If the people that weren't doing that, I think we're missing out. So like there were a lot of interesting ways to approach it. And I liked the concept. Okay. Did Lisa switch cheeks one time? I thought she was, she would go in and then she hit the switcheroo.
[00:55:28] I said, okay, Blitzen. I also feel like after a while you were probably getting sweaty. So I can imagine it was like sliding down the sweat on your face. I don't know, that's so nasty. Do you think it was the same disc though over and over again?
[00:55:41] No, it was a new disc. It had so many, so I don't think it's... I think a little bit of moisture is good. They had windex right there. They would clean them. You want a little bit of moisture to have the stick?
[00:55:53] I think a little sweat is good probably, but if you have oily skin, not as good. Gotta spit on that thing. Yeah, yeah. Where's Sockpooya? Okay. I can get him. Sockpooya would have crushed this competition. All right, the other competition, Taryn,
[00:56:12] I didn't really understand what was going on. I was like, is this like Inception? Is the room spinning around 360? But it seemed like it was just sort of like jostling. Yeah, it was fine. This one didn't really do much for me,
[00:56:26] but you know, they were just walking around. I was gonna say, I'm glad we only had two people doing that one, because it was the least interesting competition out of the two. So it was nice that we just like kind of got that over with
[00:56:39] and then went back to the other one. Yeah. I liked this one. I thought it was fun. I was like, I can do this. Not well, but I could do it. Puzzle pieces in a hole. It's the shaking room that makes it fun to me, Taryn.
[00:56:52] You know, like I definitely am gonna, I'm going to run into something and probably get concussed, but I would try it. You know, again, it felt interesting because it wasn't the big brother that we always see. We've seen so many run and stack a puzzle together,
[00:57:05] challenges on big brother for over two decades now that this felt like, okay, it's fresh. And so I'll go with it. All right. Yeah. I feel like the bar is on the floor, but I am happy that we're getting equitable competitions and like things that everyone can do
[00:57:20] and different ones that we haven't seen before. So I don't know. Which one would you guys have wanted to do if you were in there? Out of the four, the two from today and yesterday. I think stick my head in the terrarium and unscramble letters.
[00:57:33] Oh yeah, that was the easiest one. Yeah. I think I would have liked the face smushing one because the problem with the fear one is that it was too easy. And so like any small mistake and you're done and you have to go really fast.
[00:57:49] Whereas I feel like figuring out how to do the face one, I'd feel comfortable. I wouldn't come in last on that one. Yeah. I just didn't like that you, there's no danger of you touching the creepy stuff that's in there. I thought that's the fun.
[00:58:03] You're supposed to be able to put your head in there and it's like, oh, they can touch you. This is just looking around. What is the point? Yeah. And then once you find out what the letters are, you just match it to whatever word has those letters.
[00:58:15] But you gotta plug it in. You gotta plug it in. That's what I mean, small mistake. You know, you could trip and you lose the comp. Yeah. All right. We got back to all the house guests, got to meet each other and here was Ainsley.
[00:58:34] She's gonna tell everybody what's happening and here are the people that are downgraded. It's Chelsea and it's Cedric. I thought pretty steep punishment for Chelsea and for Cedric. They get, they don't get to vote. They have to be mascots for the week, which is like whatever.
[00:58:55] But Taren, they also don't get to play in the veto and they're eligible to be nominated. And they can't compete in the HOH. Yeah. So they're basically sitting ducks. Like unless you become best friends with them, there's basically no reason to not nominate them
[00:59:15] in the first week because they have no hope of saving themselves and that's your worst case scenario in the first week is having to nominate like a bunch of people. And honestly, if you nominate one, the only fair thing is nominate both. Nominate them both. Sorry.
[00:59:32] That's so crazy. Imagine getting nominated. You don't even have a chance at a veto. Like one of you is going home. That's like is wild. I mean, do they even have the veto competition when neither of the nominees are able to play?
[00:59:46] Veto could still be used on them theoretically. I guess so. But yeah, like imagine you're Cedric and you correctly vote no to have somebody join the game, but then they flip it around on you and force you to compete in this competition.
[01:00:01] You probably do the best at the competition, but because of the specific rules, you technically come in last. Because of that, you're put on the block because you can't compete in the veto. Then you can't compete in the veto. And then they vote you out
[01:00:15] because you're the biggest threat on the block. That's a pretty awful experience on Big Brother. It's a cautionary tale. Big Brother and Julie, all the people at CBS are saying, we hear y'all complaining about our twists. Keep complaining, keep complaining.
[01:00:30] Because if you get on the show and you vote against them, we're gonna make you pay for it. So anytime you come in from now on, people are gonna be like, bring them in. New twists, all the things, battle of the block, all that stuff, welcome it.
[01:00:40] Because if you try to fight it, it will come back to bite you. Well, speaking of trying to fight the twist, Taren, it does seem as also that the AI theme has really set the table for a lot of twists.
[01:00:55] That Ainsley is changing the rules on eviction night? Rob, it's one of those things where it's like they're teasing a twist and what is even the point of speculating? Because they're just gonna do whatever they want and we'll just find out. And it's gonna be stupid probably.
[01:01:17] Not to mention also, Mackenzie and Quinn are due to receive two powers. And I guess this is like shades of BB20 with the power apps that are gonna be in play. We have first the terrifying sounding deepfakeHOH. Yeah. Now I thought the deepfakeHOH was Mike Bloom.
[01:01:42] I mean, that could count. I saw the tweets. A ring doorbell that y'all turned around inside y'all's house, very clever. Getting ready for the live feeds. Yeah. DeepfakeHOH to me sounds like someone else will win HOH and then you can kind of control it, right?
[01:01:59] They won HOH technically, but you secretly can control the nominees or something like that. That's what I'm getting from that. Am I tripping? That was my thought too. I mean, they've done similar things before. It's incredibly overpowered if that's the case, but like.
[01:02:15] Yeah, but it's almost like that deepfakeHOH implies that there are actual nominees, but you are now like putting misinformation out there that other people are nominated. That would be a deepfakeHOH. Ooh, you put two people on the block and they're not even on the block.
[01:02:33] The other two people are on the block and they don't even know it. They're like, I'm throwing this veto cause I don't have to win it. It's like, you're on the block bitch. I like that idea. It's kind of cool. Yeah.
[01:02:43] There's maybe something to it if it's like, yeah, initial nominees are fake nominees. I wasn't nominated. They put my head on his body. I mean, it's deepfake. Like if you're willing to prevent people from playing in the veto in the first place,
[01:02:59] then there's like by the same logic, it's perfectly acceptable to trick them into thinking they're not on the block until post veto when it turns out you actually were on the block the whole time. You just didn't realize. Right. And then the, oh, sorry. No, go ahead.
[01:03:17] Go ahead. Oh, I was just going to say about the America's veto. I have no idea what that. America Lopez is going to host a call. Yay! Nice. It's a very strange sounding power because it seems like it should be straightforward. America's veto. We've seen Canada's veto before.
[01:03:37] It sounds like America will vote to use a veto on somebody, but it's a power that an individual player holds. So how does America get involved? Do they have to co-sign the use of the power? Like I don't get it.
[01:03:51] It would be like would Quinn, if he gets it, for instance says, okay, this is the week I want to use America's veto. And how does he know what America's going to do? Maybe or maybe it's like America votes. America does crazy stuff. It could be that.
[01:04:07] It could be like, I want to use this and whatever America chooses, they'll choose. Or it could be America votes every week for a result. And then Quinn gets to decide, do I want to use what America wants
[01:04:21] or wait another week to see what they want next week? I hate this. I don't like this one. I don't like this one at all. It doesn't inspire me to think like, okay, I can't wait to see what that is.
[01:04:33] I'm already kind of annoyed because it does feel like if this is someone's power, leaving it in the hands of America in any type of way just feels like a waste of a power. It just feels like something that I personally wouldn't even use.
[01:04:44] Like why would I let y'all? Y'all ain't going to make the decisions right for me. Y'all going to root for y'all faves. And what if I'm not y'all faves right now? You know, you think y'all, you know, Big Brother is weird where if you're a front runner,
[01:04:54] the fans, us, America, we will vote against you because we're too bored with you just steamrolling everybody, right? If you're an underdog, we might just throw all the votes at you and be like, yep, you got it. You know, we vote for people we don't even like.
[01:05:06] Do you know who has won America's favorite house guest, Rob? Have you, do you have any clues walking around with that title right now? We can't leave nothing to America, nothing. Chappelle, to be fair, I think all season last season,
[01:05:20] we were all begging for America to get any kind of power. It's true. We wanted it more than she did, hell. All right. That's going to be something we find out on Sunday night when it's a 90 minute Big Brother episode on Sunday night. Is that the HOH competition?
[01:05:45] We're going to get our HOH competition. We are going to get nominations, presumably, and I guess much more. There was so much going on that CBS got an extra 30 minutes. And Rob, don't forget the encore of the two night premiere tomorrow night. Right.
[01:06:06] So they are re-airing these two, imagine watching these two hours back to back. You could do that Friday night on CBS, two hours of Big Brother for you to rewatch. And then we've got on Sunday night, a 90 minute episode starting at 9 p.m. Rob, I thought Julie said
[01:06:27] Ainsley is going to be changing the game before the first HOH. In my mind, whatever's about to go down, we'll see it at some point on that 90 minute episode because if that's the HOH competition or at least the day it's aired,
[01:06:41] then all the good stuff is about to go down on the feed. Yeah. Could be a jam-packed day when the feeds come on. But what could she possibly change from the game right now? I mean, the first HOH didn't even happen. There's no nominees. Chappelle, who knows?
[01:06:56] I'm sick of it. She can't keep getting away with it. Yeah. All right. Should we take some questions from the chat? All right. Let's see. Josh Green says, do we see Playboy blowing up Kenny's spot or being a copy now that Playboy is disadvantaged? Being a copy. Yeah.
[01:07:21] Being a copy. I think that might be a typo. That might be autocorrect. This is the thing. I mean, if there's a twin twist and Kenny's a copy, huge if true. I don't think there's a spot to be blown up
[01:07:36] because I think every single person in that house is gonna be speculating that he's a cop. I don't think Cedric needs to be like, oh, and also the tattoo because they're gonna be like, so he's a cop, right? Okay. All right.
[01:07:57] Roxanne is adding to what we're talking about. Posted by Sharon Tharp, CBS says that the Sunday night, BB 26 episode will be 90 minutes and it will be a big change to the nominations and evictions. Uh-oh. Three nominees? Well, see, this is what concerns me
[01:08:12] is the plural plurality of evictions. Nominations, evictions. Only evictions will be changed. That's very concerning to me. QT. Yeah, I feel like it sounds like they're just changing it for the season. The format, yeah. Which I don't like. Like that, if it's not broke, don't fix it.
[01:08:31] That part wasn't broke. I mean, Big Brother has been known to mess with things, especially prior to jury in the season just to say they're doing something just to make it different. So we'll see. It's consistently been the most disastrous kind of thing that they try. All right.
[01:08:56] Bring back the Key Wheel. Bring back the Key Wheel. Maybe that's what AI is gonna do. Yeah, let's get a flashback. Back to the good old days of Big Brother. You know, back before they started all these newfangled, you know, like this little wall that just pops up.
[01:09:12] I don't like that. Bring back the dramatics of the Key Wheel. That's why we get 30 extra minutes of the episode because that Key Wheel takes a long time. Honestly, John says, was Matt's chiseled jaw a disadvantage in this competition? Is this how we flatten the bro advantage?
[01:09:29] Love that. Honestly, yeah. Like Taryn said, your face shape can dramatically change how you do in that competition. So the rounder, the better. Yeah, true. Okay. How about London? Another great yarn entrepreneur says, I can't help with the quilt. I can help with the quilt, QT.
[01:09:58] Yay, thank you. Please, London, help me. Need help. I'll keep everyone updated on my quilt journey throughout the season. If I finish another like row or so of it, I'll show what it looks like. Kyle asks, do you think if we knock the prize money
[01:10:13] back down to 500K, they could afford better AI? I mean, this is the thing. They probably have to spend more money to make the AI that bad. Like any VTuber on Twitch could do infinitely better than this with probably a fraction,
[01:10:39] a fraction of a fraction of the budget they're using. Yeah. Also that machine that they use that Ainsley was like on, they could do so much better, so many better things with that. Like they're putting a video that they're creating into this thing,
[01:10:54] but they could put an actual like person into it. Yeah. Didn't they call it the proto box? I thought, I was like, okay, you're doing all of this just so Ainsley can pop up when she could just use the TV screen. Like, do you even work for-
[01:11:06] Yeah, it's right next to the TV screen. What are you guys talking about? Look how cool this is. I would be looking at this if I were in that house and Ainsley just like came up in the middle of the night. Oh my gosh.
[01:11:17] This is like one of the producers being like, oh yeah, no, no, no. I can totally do 3D modeling. This looks awesome. I picked it up 30 years ago and I took some classes. I'm really good at it. Yeah. This is incredible.
[01:11:33] So yeah, kudos to the Big Brother producers for putting Ainsley out there. Let me also say kudos to our own Derek, who I guess in lieu of subscribing to the podcast decided to go out and that he is participating in the Press Your Face on the Glass Challenge.
[01:11:59] Yes, with the R.H.A.P. Eris shirt on. Shout out to that shirt. Check the R.H.A.P. store for that one because it's a perfect shirt. It's got all of Rob's eras, all of his phases. And then also you can wear it
[01:12:13] and do this challenge like Derek. It's not a real challenge if you don't wear the shirt. It didn't count. All right, any other questions from the chat? Let's see. Which AI is better, Ainsley or Max QT? Honestly, I'd go with Max. Max was more like personable
[01:12:30] and I actually thought it was a human. So yeah, Max over Ainsley. I wanna see an Ainsley and Max showmance. Oh, okay. Send them to Perfect Match. Honestly. Okay. All right, anything else from night two? No. No. It's amazing we got this far. Yeah.
[01:12:55] All right, so we've got a lot to do. All right, we have gotten two nights of setup here. We're ready to finally, big brother. Once it starts, it doesn't stop. Make sure you're subscribed. Rob is at website.com.bbfeed for our podcast.
[01:13:14] Subscribe links on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. We appreciate your feedback and your star ratings here at the start of the season. Leave us some fun reviews. We'll read them on the podcast. And then of course, hit that subscribe button
[01:13:27] here on YouTube to make sure you don't miss anything, especially when Taren starts going live starting tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. Eastern time. And Taren, who knows? Who knows indeed. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot. Basically, the premiere is basically an extended like preseason preview.
[01:13:53] The first real drop of Big Brother 26 will be tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. Eastern when we discuss what's actually happening in the game and what this will actually look like as a season. All right, don't miss it. Must listen to podcast 11 a.m. tomorrow.
[01:14:11] Then we've got the guys from Jetlag. They had to watch as a punishment the two night premiere of Big Brother. What'd they think? Wasn't supposed to be a punishment. I mean, when you told them to watch Big Brother,
[01:14:27] you had to know the odds were against you on that one. It was gonna be a punishment regardless. Let me just like briefly pitch this because like the idea for me was these guys are brilliant game designers. They are really smart. They make really cool social strategy games,
[01:14:45] competitive games. They make really good television content. And so like here I am like showing them my baby, right? Like this is my thing. This is what I've dedicated my life to. I would love to get your thoughts on the thing that I spend so much time doing.
[01:15:07] Yes, I do do a podcast every morning. Yes, I do watch all of the live feeds. I would love to see your opinion on this and these are the episodes they got. So we'll see. Yeah, find out. We'll be live for that one,
[01:15:26] one o'clock tomorrow afternoon Eastern time. So join us for that. And then Taren and I are taking your calls. What will the feeds tell us? What will it mean for the upcoming week? Taren and I are taking patron calls live tomorrow at 3 p.m. Eastern.
[01:15:44] Patrons, you will get the link sent to you to call in for the first BB Q&A of the season. Hope to see you there. Of course, also we did a celebrity Brands deal on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun. 20 people who are famous
[01:16:05] who have said they like Survivor at one point in their lives. They competed in a fictional season generated by AI and it did not disappoint. Check it out. Chappelle, look, Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris are both there.
[01:16:20] I was just about to say, what is wrong with you? Why are you like this? Take that off the thumbnail. You get more clicks. Claim to Fame is back. It's been a very fun new season of Claim to Fame. QT, ever watch Claim to Fame?
[01:16:31] Yeah, I love Claim to Fame. I haven't gotten into this season yet, but I have loved the last two. Okay, really fun season so far. Really fun episode this week. Broke it down with Jenny Autumn and special guest Poo-ya.
[01:16:44] Real Poo-ya on the last episode of Claim to Fame Recap up at robisawebsite.com. And of course, so much going on over on Patreon. You're not gonna wanna miss Chappelle on the slop with us all season long. You can hear that on Mondays
[01:17:01] plus access to our great Patreon community. We've got a Big Brother Facebook group, all of our Discord channels where people are watching the feeds. robisawebsite.com slash Patreon. You will not regret it. And I mean it, not like Ainsley, okay? All right. Let's go ahead.
[01:17:21] Chappelle, what's coming up for you? Okay, listeners, I can confirm that everything Rob just said is absolutely true, okay? We do have a slop coming. He's not joking. We do have a slop coming soon. If you see something particularly sloppy about this season of Big Brother,
[01:17:39] tag me in it at Chappelle's underscore show. Just boom, hit me with that one and I'll be able to see it. robisawebsite.com slash get sloppy is the link. Yeah, so you can send it directly to us. I'm talking about social media stuff from Big Brother,
[01:17:53] current events in Big Brother, and then especially live feed clips from inside the house. If you got it and it's sloppy, send it our way and we're gonna talk about it. If you have a live feed clip, send them to Darren also. Yeah, send it to who?
[01:18:03] Just keep sending them. Let's keep reposting those. We're doing this as a community, as a family. So yeah, do that and make sure you join the Patreon so that you can hear the sloppiness of the season. Also, you can catch me on RHAP talking about Below Deck.
[01:18:16] Below Deck Med is airing right now and Sasha and I go live on YouTube every Wednesday at 3 p.m. Eastern to talk about the episodes. It's so much fun. We have the chat going. It's a great time. So you can catch that here on the RHAP YouTube
[01:18:30] or you can subscribe to the Below Deck RHAP Ups feed, wherever you get your podcasts. You could also catch Rob and I on the Nothing But Netflix podcast where we talk about whatever hot Netflix show is popping right now. And so we'll just look at the trending ones
[01:18:42] and just go with that. Or you can give us some suggestions. You can tweet us at nothingbutrhap and let us know what you want us to talk about on the Nothing But Netflix podcast. And then over on my own podcast, Recap Kickback,
[01:18:53] I'm talking about whatever I want to. You can subscribe to Recap Kickback at youtube.com slash at Recap Kickback. Please go send me some subscribers cause I need money. And if you do that, then I might get some.
[01:19:03] And so do that and then tune in for all our content. We're covering House of the Dragon every week but we got some cool stuff coming your way soon. The Simone Biles documentary just dropped and we're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about Sprint.
[01:19:14] We're going to talk about a bunch of other things on Recap Kickback but you have to join the community. Go subscribe to Recap Kickback and follow Recap Kickback on all social media platforms at Recap Kickback. All right. That's it. Thank you, Chappelle. Thank you. Okay.
[01:19:29] QT, where can people keep up with you? Well, first, can I just say for nothing but Netflix have you guys watched the Dallas Cowboy cheerleader documentary? I wanted to. Chappelle said it wasn't that exciting. Okay. First of all, I did watch it. I did watch it.
[01:19:42] We just didn't talk about it. You just didn't care about it. Okay. Well, I mean. QT was good? It was good, but I'm a former NFL cheerleader. So I guess I had a little bit of a interest. It sounds to me like QT should replace Chappelle
[01:19:56] for an episode. Honestly, it does. I mean, bring it in a ringer, Rob. That might be a good idea. We just watched Receiver on Netflix. Okay. Yeah. I think you would like it, Rob. You should give it a try. Okay. Maybe I will. Yeah.
[01:20:10] But what's going on with me? Honestly, nothing now that it's big brother time. It's like my whole life just becomes dedicated to the show. On my TikTok after most of the episodes I'm gonna be going live. So my TikTok name is right there, Corey Tyler.
[01:20:23] Yeah, that's about it. Also, if anyone's interested in books, I love reading so much and I've been making a lot of book content. So you can subscribe to my YouTube channel. It's just my name, I think, Corey Tyler. And I do like reading blogs and stuff
[01:20:37] and they're super fun. What books are you reading? They're all like romance, fluffy romance. Oh. Some fantasy. Like with fluffy guys? Yes. I'm a big, what do you call it? Chubby chaser. Chubby chaser. Chubby chaser when it comes to books, for sure. Okay.
[01:20:56] The chubbier the book, the better. Rob, I forgot to plug MILF Manor. We just recorded the finale of that. The finale. Yeah, the finale of MILF Manor. But also I see the chat talking about Supercell. We talked about that on Recap Kickback.
[01:21:08] Go subscribe to the podcast on YouTube. YouTube.com slash at Recap Kickback to keep up with that. But then check out the MILF Manor finale podcast because it was sloppy. It was sloppy. There was MILF's children there. They was grown. They was trying to sleep with the MILFs.
[01:21:21] It was a whole thing. We talked about it with Rob, Jenny and Puyo on the 90 Day Fiance feed on RHAP. Okay. All right. QT, great to have you back here with us to talk some Big Brother 26. And then Taron, big night for you. Big night indeed.
[01:21:39] I'm gonna be live on Twitch in just a few hours. Maybe even less than a few hours. I think Julie said around 10 Pacific. So that's just over an hour, but we'll see. I'll be back on Twitch to watch the live feeds 24 hours. So come and join me.
[01:22:00] We'll have a good time. You can buy a kitten plushie of my kitten and hopefully I can sell 300 of them so I don't have to own hundreds of kitten plushies. So check out the full kitten plushie on my Twitter. T-Core could make like a,
[01:22:19] either for the real callus or the plushie, like some kind of like a sweater. Listen, I'm down any kitten content I'm in for. So check that out. And of course, check out the tastemakers, all the stuff over on our scripted podcast. We got House of the Dragon stuff.
[01:22:42] We got fun stuff. Robbismwebsite.com slash scripted for all of RHAP. We know scripted TV here, plenty of Taren over there as well. Thank you so much for joining us. We'd love to hear your feedback in the comments. So keep it coming. We will see you tomorrow.
[01:23:01] Take care. Have a good one. Bye.
