[00:01:29] So be on the lookout for that.
[00:01:31] We also are going to have a shorter interview coming up with Tucker in the next couple days.

[00:01:52] But let's check in with Angela.
[00:01:54] Hey, Angela, what's going on?
[00:01:56] This is Rob and Taryn from RHAP and it is such an honor to get to talk to you.
[00:02:03] Hi, how are you?
[00:02:04] Thank you so much.
[00:02:05] Doing great.
[00:02:06] We've been looking forward to this.
[00:02:08] How has life been outside of the house for you, Angela?
[00:02:13] It's been really good.
[00:02:14] As you know, I'm home and I'm just enjoying my family and just enjoying downtime and just
[00:02:20] like recovering from the whole the whole thing.
[00:02:23] It's been awesome being home.
[00:02:24] Yeah.
[00:02:25] And what was the reaction from everybody to this wild run you had here on BB26?
[00:02:32] My family's reaction?
[00:02:33] Yes.
[00:02:34] I think that they were very, very proud of me.
[00:02:38] They thought I'd be going home week one and because I'm, you know, the older person in the
[00:02:45] house.
[00:02:45] And then after week two, they thought for sure I was going home.
[00:02:49] But, you know, they also know that I'm a fighter and that I will do whatever it takes to like
[00:02:55] stand on my ground and be where I want to be.
[00:02:57] And so they were just proud of me.
[00:02:59] They were proud that I was able to endure that.
[00:03:02] How's it been watching like the clips back?
[00:03:04] Have you watched much?
[00:03:06] Um, can I fix something on my screen?
[00:03:08] I'm not sure what this is because I cannot see you.
[00:03:10] Oh, there we go.
[00:03:11] Okay.
[00:03:12] Um, can you repeat that question?
[00:03:14] Have you been able to watch many clips or anything?
[00:03:17] Any episodes yet?
[00:03:19] Yes, I've been watching.
[00:03:21] I've been watching a lot.
[00:03:22] I, um, gosh, it's like, I'm just like glued to the seat.
[00:03:26] I'm on the edge of my seat as a fan of the show.
[00:03:29] Like I'm so here for it.
[00:03:31] Like I'm so excited to watch and it's kind of like an out of body experience seeing myself
[00:03:37] on my favorite show of all time.
[00:03:39] So iconic.
[00:03:39] Like, uh, it's been, I, again, I'm just like, and then last night, I think I was on episode
[00:03:43] 19 where chemo says she's like Michael Myers, like appropriate for Halloween.
[00:03:50] Love it.
[00:03:51] I love everything.
[00:03:52] I love the diary rooms.
[00:03:53] I'm most intrigued by the diary room confessions.
[00:03:56] I'm most intrigued by hearing, um, what people are saying behind closed doors.
[00:04:00] Cause you know, I was always like trying to listen in to see what people were saying.
[00:04:04] So yeah, just like, it's like, get to see what, you know, what's happening.
[00:04:09] Yeah.
[00:04:09] It shouldn't be a surprise.
[00:04:10] You, you know, that you liked to eavesdrop because I'm a major hustler, baby.
[00:04:15] I am an ear hustler to a fault.
[00:04:17] Like I totally, when my kids were teenagers, like they knew they better get out of the house
[00:04:22] if they want something kept secret.
[00:04:23] Cause I'm going to be listening.
[00:04:24] I'm going to know it all.
[00:04:26] Angela, were you surprised at all?
[00:04:28] Uh, when you got out of the house to learn, uh, the world's reaction to you in any ways,
[00:04:34] uh, do you have any surprises?
[00:04:37] So let me be honest with you.
[00:04:39] I am a, I'm a, I'm, I'm, I'm not a live feeder.
[00:04:43] I've always just been, what is it called?
[00:04:44] A common, you know, I'm just watching whatever.
[00:04:46] They call it casual.
[00:04:48] Yeah.
[00:04:48] I'm a casual, right?
[00:04:49] And so I didn't realize that, you know, how big it is that the live feeds are huge.
[00:04:55] And so therefore I didn't really talk to cameras too much.
[00:04:58] I didn't really talk to my family too much.
[00:05:01] So I just didn't really know the volume of people that actually watch the live feeds.
[00:05:05] The people that watch the live feeds are actually, are the ones that love me and the
[00:05:10] ones that are just watching it on the television show, all the edits and everything.
[00:05:14] They don't like me so much.
[00:05:15] And you know what?
[00:05:16] I don't care because I had the time of my freaking life and I own that shit.
[00:05:21] I own everything I said and did.
[00:05:22] And I had a blast in that house.
[00:05:24] I was paranoid a lot.
[00:05:25] I had a lot of like anxieties and things that I've never really felt in my everyday
[00:05:29] life.
[00:05:30] And I, all of it, the whole rollercoaster, the whole snowball effect, I, I just embodied
[00:05:37] all of that.
[00:05:38] And it was my big brother experience.
[00:05:40] And what happened in that house to me stays in that house.
[00:05:44] If somebody has a problem with me, I am unbothered.
[00:05:47] Certain people still have issues with me and they're in an argument or a fight with me.
[00:05:51] You know what?
[00:05:52] I'm not involved.
[00:05:53] I am not involved.
[00:05:55] One sided.
[00:05:57] It really is.
[00:05:58] And I also, I would like to say this just because I have read some, I'm getting a lot
[00:06:03] more, just, just to be clear.
[00:06:05] I do have, I feel a lot more love than I have people that just want to point fingers.
[00:06:10] Um, I want to say this, that is it best for somebody?
[00:06:15] Cause I have watched a lot of the show, the diary rooms and all the secret conversations
[00:06:19] that were going on behind my back.
[00:06:21] Is it okay for people to be labeled, not a bully if they're saying it behind your back?
[00:06:27] Or is it okay for a person like me who prefers to say it to your face?
[00:06:33] Because I don't talk behind people's backs like that.
[00:06:37] I would, I will, whatever I have to say about you.
[00:06:39] If I can't say it to your face, I'm certainly not going to say it behind your back.
[00:06:42] Yeah.
[00:06:43] Just because I can, just because that's what I did and how I expressed myself.
[00:06:46] I'm labeled a bully by a lot of haters.
[00:06:49] Well, I'm sorry.
[00:06:50] Have you never called somebody something?
[00:06:53] Have you never felt a sort of way and you've said it behind their backs or it's not to their
[00:06:56] face because I'm a woman and I stuck up for myself.
[00:06:59] All of a sudden I'm a bully.
[00:07:01] I mean, like, let's get real here.
[00:07:03] I think that television only showed what there a few minutes of a 45 minute conversation with
[00:07:10] Matt and my HOA trim.
[00:07:12] And from what I understand and from what I can see from the live feeds, a lot of that
[00:07:18] conversation was cut.
[00:07:19] It was, there weren't any videos on it.
[00:07:24] So I think anybody who has a level head on their shoulders would know that why would a woman of
[00:07:31] my age be so angry and so intimidated and so frustrated and threatened with what you saw?
[00:07:39] I would be also like, why was she so upset?
[00:07:43] Because you didn't see everything.
[00:07:48] Yeah.
[00:07:48] What are, are there still a lot of people, Angela?
[00:07:52] Cause I feel like that again, and I'm not, I'm not you.
[00:07:54] I see so much positivity towards you, Angela.
[00:07:57] I do.
[00:07:58] I do.
[00:07:59] I totally get more like, I'm going to answer your question better because you asked me like,
[00:08:03] what was the reception when I got out?
[00:08:05] What did I think?
[00:08:06] I've seen you celebrate.
[00:08:07] I didn't know that people were watching and I didn't feel like a lot of people were watching
[00:08:11] because I wasn't really acquainted with that.
[00:08:12] But now that I feel that and I've come home, I had people waiting for me at the airport.
[00:08:16] People are dressing as me for Halloween.
[00:08:18] I'm feeling a lot of love.
[00:08:20] I can't go outside of my house without people recognizing me.
[00:08:22] It's a surreal feeling.
[00:08:24] It really is.
[00:08:25] It feels amazing.
[00:08:26] It feels wonderful.
[00:08:26] I love all the support and all of my, even using the word fans just feels strange to
[00:08:32] me, but I am so, so such a lucky girl, such a lucky woman.
[00:08:36] Yeah.
[00:08:36] I was going to ask you if you had seen all the Halloween costumes.
[00:08:39] Yes.
[00:08:40] I've been screenshotting them.
[00:08:41] How many tweets I see.
[00:08:44] I hate gay Halloween.
[00:08:45] What do you mean?
[00:08:46] You're Angela in the veto ceremony.
[00:08:48] You're Angela when she didn't get her charcuterie.
[00:08:51] I love it.
[00:08:52] I love it.
[00:08:52] I love it.
[00:08:53] It's incredible.
[00:08:54] I love it all.
[00:08:55] I'm so excited.
[00:08:56] I'm just so excited and so honored.
[00:08:58] And it just makes me feel so, so good that people are showing me that kind of love and
[00:09:03] that they, um, they've called me, labeled me like Godjula and Stangela, Stangela and Angela's
[00:09:10] angels.
[00:09:11] I mean, there's so many fun things that they're saying.
[00:09:13] And it just like, it's again, it's surreal.
[00:09:16] I feel like, oh my gosh, like who am I right now?
[00:09:19] This is so incredible.
[00:09:20] Well, there was, there was one talking about the casuals, right?
[00:09:24] Uh, one of my favorite theories throughout the season from the casuals conspiracy theories
[00:09:29] is, uh, I don't know if you've seen this.
[00:09:32] Have you seen the Angela is a plant?
[00:09:34] Yes.
[00:09:36] It's hysterical.
[00:09:37] Right?
[00:09:38] Yes.
[00:09:38] I think genuinely, I think that's a compliment.
[00:09:41] I do too.
[00:09:42] I really take it that way.
[00:09:43] Uh, CBS is first class all the way.
[00:09:46] They don't do that.
[00:09:47] There's nothing in that house that's scripted.
[00:09:48] It is completely raw and just, you know, it's, it's just laid out.
[00:09:54] However people are feeling, whatever they want to say.
[00:09:56] It is, there's nothing in there that is scripted.
[00:09:58] There are no plants.
[00:09:59] And it's so funny because not being outside of the house and hearing all the speculation
[00:10:04] and then I'm in the house and I say, I'm feeling that way too.
[00:10:07] Yeah.
[00:10:07] You, I saw a clip where you said that it could be a production plan.
[00:10:13] It's like, who is this?
[00:10:15] He's so amazing.
[00:10:16] Right.
[00:10:16] And I'm like, yeah, like, wouldn't that be funny?
[00:10:20] But I know it's not possible because I'm, I'm very involved, you know, with the whole
[00:10:24] process of, of getting casted and all that.
[00:10:26] So I know it's not possible.
[00:10:27] And I just think it's so funny that I thought the same thing, but no, it's, it's not true.
[00:10:31] It's, it's funny that anybody would think that.
[00:10:33] And yes, it is an honor, um, that people would think that.
[00:10:38] Angela, you had this, uh, incredible experience, uh, on big freaking brother.
[00:10:43] You've been out of the house for a couple of weeks now.
[00:10:45] Have you noticed any ways in which big brother has changed you outside the house?
[00:10:53] I've always had a thick skin.
[00:10:56] Maybe I'm growing another layer because you do have to move past some of the negativity.
[00:11:01] But there, like I said before, earlier, there's just so much more positivity in that.
[00:11:05] So I did grow maybe a little thicker skin.
[00:11:08] Um, also I do feel like coming home.
[00:11:12] I'm like, I put my foot down.
[00:11:13] I'm like, I did a lot.
[00:11:15] And my husband's like, you know what, girl, I appreciate you.
[00:11:18] And the appreciation that the man has for me now is amazing.
[00:11:22] A lot.
[00:11:23] Just that alone.
[00:11:25] Yeah.
[00:11:25] Yeah.
[00:11:25] He's so cool.
[00:11:26] Just that alone.
[00:11:27] He's like, babe, I got this, this, this, and this it's off your plate forever.
[00:11:31] Like, don't even worry about it.
[00:11:32] I'm down with that.
[00:11:33] And so now that I've gotten home and I'm not having to do those certain things I didn't
[00:11:36] like doing, I'm like, Oh, this just feels so great.
[00:11:39] Like, I'm just so proud that he's, he's realized like the appreciation for me.
[00:11:43] And he's always been appreciative of me as a wife and a mother and how I work really
[00:11:48] hard, but just, just overall, I think our love, um, we've been together for a very, very
[00:11:53] long time.
[00:11:54] And the way he missed me, he was glued to the TV set with live feeds.
[00:11:58] He would, he would sleep with me.
[00:11:59] He would watch me sleep.
[00:12:01] Uh, I don't know how he slept because I snore freaking loud, but the man, the man, but he
[00:12:06] loves me so, so much.
[00:12:08] And I love him so much.
[00:12:09] I was one of the hardest things being on the show was being away from him.
[00:12:12] Yeah.
[00:12:16] On the feeds, you could turn down the volume on the snoring in real life.
[00:12:19] I don't know that he did.
[00:12:21] I don't know that he did, but I have a new profound relationship with my husband of 34
[00:12:26] years that, um, I didn't think could get better, but the, the relationship and the missing
[00:12:31] each other, cause we've never been apart that long since I was 15.
[00:12:34] So just the relationship in general was worth going on that level.
[00:12:38] Um, and then the love that I have for my family.
[00:12:40] I mean, I, when they, you know, I hug a lot, but I mean, when I hug my family now, it's just
[00:12:46] like, I don't ever want to let go.
[00:12:47] It's just, I miss them so, so much.
[00:12:50] So, and I'm, I also, another big thing is just knowing that I am a strong woman and I
[00:12:55] guess I always knew that, but now I really, really know that some of the challenges in
[00:12:58] that house and just being in that house was so challenging for me and that I was able
[00:13:02] to do it and wake up each day and say, I got this.
[00:13:04] You can do it.
[00:13:05] Yeah.
[00:13:06] I mean, one of those challenges was, uh, the radiation challenge.
[00:13:10] You, you, Angela, you provided me with a lot of great sound clips from the season, but
[00:13:14] one of my favorites is, uh, I don't even know if it was in the episode, but as you were
[00:13:19] counting down, uh, you got to 10, right?
[00:13:33] It's a lot of tense.
[00:13:35] Are you, are you playing something?
[00:13:36] Oh, it didn't play.
[00:13:37] Oh, that is very unfortunate.
[00:13:39] I apologize.
[00:13:39] I didn't hear it.
[00:13:40] Yeah.
[00:13:41] It's very, it was, uh, very, uh, faint.
[00:13:44] Okay.
[00:13:45] Uh, well, um, nevermind then.
[00:13:47] No worries.
[00:13:48] I remember it like it's yesterday.
[00:13:50] It was a nightmare.
[00:13:51] Yes.
[00:13:51] Well, it was very fun.
[00:13:52] Uh, I did want to ask though about, uh, about the, uh, the crazy eyes and the low budget movie.
[00:14:00] Um, because I think that was really like, uh, the coming out party for Angela when everybody
[00:14:05] sort of was like, Whoa, hold on.
[00:14:08] Um, you practiced.
[00:14:10] Oh, and I, speaking of sleep, you were practicing overnight.
[00:14:13] How much of this did you anticipate was going to like go down this way?
[00:14:17] And also like what, especially the low budget movie part, uh, like what made you so convinced
[00:14:24] that this was a low budget movie and not an actual high budget production that they were
[00:14:28] serious about?
[00:14:31] All right.
[00:14:32] I'll start at the beginning.
[00:14:33] Um, I was very, very hurt and, and, and nervous and scared about all of the things that
[00:14:39] Matt was saying to me in the HH room.
[00:14:40] I really did feel like there was a turn that the house, um, was siding with him that I called
[00:14:46] him and Mackenzie out for, um, possibly being in a showmance.
[00:14:50] Okay.
[00:14:50] It was going to go down.
[00:14:51] I was excited about it and, you know, I did put my foot in my mouth by even doing that,
[00:14:57] but it's just like who I am.
[00:14:59] And it's very hard for me to filter who I am at most of the time.
[00:15:02] And so I was just kind of being playful with it now watching it back and seeing that I even
[00:15:07] like did it even more like later on that evening in the bathroom area.
[00:15:10] And I was like playing around with it more and trying to be playful with it.
[00:15:14] It didn't really come off that way.
[00:15:16] And watching it back, I'm like, Oh man, I can understand why he did feel, um,
[00:15:23] concerned that I was targeting him.
[00:15:25] And so when he was in the HH room and we had that conversation, I kept apologizing profusely
[00:15:30] about it, but I don't think he ever really truly forgave me and thought that it wasn't
[00:15:34] out of malice, but it really, really truly was not.
[00:15:37] I think Matt is, is a really neat guy.
[00:15:39] Um, and Mackenzie's an amazing woman.
[00:15:41] I, I didn't mean anything by it.
[00:15:42] And wholeheartedly, he was not going on the block until after what he had said to me multiple
[00:15:47] times.
[00:15:47] And so, um, I did stay up that night and just feeling all of these motions.
[00:15:52] And I don't think I slept really a wink.
[00:15:54] I was tossing and turning all night and I needed to do something where the entire house
[00:15:59] heard it.
[00:15:59] I couldn't just say it to Matt.
[00:16:00] I couldn't just say it to a few people.
[00:16:02] I needed everyone to hear it because if you just said it to Matt or just a few people in
[00:16:06] the big brother house or anywhere really in life, you know, the game telephone, it comes
[00:16:10] out way different and things could have been added to it that I didn't say.
[00:16:14] So I really needed to make sure that everyone heard it.
[00:16:16] And I wanted to make a production about it.
[00:16:18] I wanted everyone to know what he had said to me and how it went down.
[00:16:22] So coming down the stairs, I knew that those sandals clanked and I was, and like the whole
[00:16:27] clanking, I was like, you know what?
[00:16:28] That's how I'm going to get everybody's attention.
[00:16:30] I'm going to clap it out.
[00:16:31] I'm going to come down those stairs and I'm going to have those flip-flops sitting at the
[00:16:35] same freaking time in Unison.
[00:16:37] And so then I came down and I knew I would land right there so that everyone would see
[00:16:41] and hear me.
[00:16:41] And I wasn't sure everything that I would say.
[00:16:45] I said things that I wish I hadn't as far as involving Mackenzie.
[00:16:49] I do.
[00:16:49] I'm very regretful of that because I shouldn't have involved her and what Matt had said to
[00:16:53] me and how he made me feel.
[00:16:55] And I did go to Mackenzie later and I apologized to her a couple of times because I wanted
[00:17:00] her to know that I did think she was a neat lady.
[00:17:02] And I definitely, definitely didn't want to put a target on her back.
[00:17:04] And I, I didn't mean anything by it and I should not have involved her in the rant, but it
[00:17:10] just, again, big mouth.
[00:17:12] TV history was made.
[00:17:13] Okay.
[00:17:14] Yeah.
[00:17:15] Angela, we have seen that you are also a big Survivor fan and you, we are all teased with
[00:17:23] the idea that you might one day go to Survivor.
[00:17:27] Is this still something that you would like to pursue?
[00:17:29] Yes, I would absolutely love it.
[00:17:32] Are you keeping up with the new season?
[00:17:34] I haven't watched because I've been too busy watching Big Brother.
[00:17:37] I don't want to spoil anything, Angela, but you know, they just gave them charcuterie.
[00:17:42] No.
[00:17:43] Yes.
[00:17:44] They're playing in your face.
[00:17:48] How cool is that?
[00:17:50] I love it.
[00:17:51] I can't wait to watch.
[00:17:52] Yeah.
[00:17:53] Well, you, you did have a week that was maybe a little bit like Survivor Janky week.
[00:17:59] And during that week, I was curious because this has been a little bit of a conversation.
[00:18:05] Leah was the HOH.
[00:18:06] If she had decided to target Chelsea that week, would you have been willing to vote Chelsea
[00:18:10] out?
[00:18:11] Absolutely.
[00:18:13] See, I saw very early on and even watching back, I can see that I'm, you know, I can't
[00:18:17] remember everything I thought and did in the house this far out.
[00:18:21] But, and there was so much content, you know, you're there 24 seven.
[00:18:25] But I knew that Chelsea was a strong competitor.
[00:18:29] She showed that early on.
[00:18:31] And the way that she gracefully handled the call out from Tucker, just her overall, she
[00:18:37] had a great social game.
[00:18:38] She was very strategic.
[00:18:39] And so I would have had no problem.
[00:18:41] But I also wanted to protect and covet Leah because Chelsea would have come for her head
[00:18:46] the next week if she didn't get voted out.
[00:18:48] And quite honestly, I didn't know that we would have had the votes.
[00:18:51] Yeah.
[00:18:52] And just very quickly, when, when did you decide to vote for Chelsea to win?
[00:18:57] I think it was kind of on the way to finale night.
[00:19:02] I just kept weighing it out in my mind.
[00:19:04] I knew that there were three people left and I was just going between the combination of
[00:19:08] them, if it were the two girls or if it were Mackenzie and Cam or, you know, however it was
[00:19:12] going to be.
[00:19:13] I think anybody against Cam was going to win against him.
[00:19:16] And not to say that Cam didn't play the game that he wanted to and that he's not an
[00:19:21] amazing guy because he really is.
[00:19:23] He was really just a light in the house.
[00:19:25] He's such a sweet, sweet human being.
[00:19:27] But because he didn't have, he wasn't actually making a lot of the moves or suggesting a lot
[00:19:31] of the moves.
[00:19:32] He just kind of went along with the girls.
[00:19:34] I would have to have given it to either girl.
[00:19:35] And then if the two girls were on the block, of course I would have had to take off any
[00:19:40] and peel off any of the resentment I had because she played the game, whether it was against
[00:19:45] me or not.
[00:19:46] Like I was bitter for sure.
[00:19:48] Like even Taylor said, are you bitter?
[00:19:50] Yes.
[00:19:50] I was a little bitter in those moments.
[00:19:52] However, I have to take away anything personal because she played the game.
[00:19:57] And I do truly feel like whatever happened in that house, it was a game and it was how
[00:20:02] we felt in the moments.
[00:20:03] And at that time, it's very highly, highly emotional in there.
[00:20:07] And I needed to separate that from game.
[00:20:09] Chelsea earned it 100% wholeheartedly.
[00:20:13] Okay.
[00:20:13] Angela, I know you got to run.
[00:20:15] You got a lot going on.
[00:20:16] And we're waiting any day to hear when you're going to be on The Bold and the Beautiful.
[00:20:21] So we're going to keep an ear out for that announcement, hopefully soon.
[00:20:26] And Angela, really appreciate you making some time to catch up with Taryn and I.
[00:20:30] Thank you so much.
[00:20:31] I appreciate the interview and letting me kind of give you insight on how I'm feeling.
[00:20:34] Okay.
[00:20:35] All right.
[00:20:35] Hope we can hear more from you in the future and all the best outside Big Brother Angela.
[00:20:40] Okay.
[00:20:40] Thank you.
[00:20:41] All right.
[00:20:41] Take care.
[00:20:42] Bye.
[00:20:42] Thank you.
[00:20:43] Take care.
[00:20:43] Bye-bye.
[00:20:44] All right, everybody.
[00:20:44] They have it.
[00:20:45] Angela Murray here on the podcast.
[00:20:48] Appreciate Angela making some time to check in with us as what a whirlwind it was for Angela
[00:20:54] through Big Brother 26.
[00:20:57] Happy to hear.
[00:20:58] For the most part, she sounds like she's doing pretty good with everything.
[00:21:01] A couple of haters might be bothering her a little bit, but I just got to block those
[00:21:07] out.
[00:21:07] There's way more love out there for Angela than there is hate.
[00:21:10] Especially with all those Halloween costumes I see all over my Twitter time.
[00:21:15] People are really loving Angela.
[00:21:17] An unforgettable run in Big Brother 26.
[00:21:20] All right.
[00:21:21] We are going to have an interview with Tucker coming up as well.
[00:21:24] So make sure you are on the lookout for that.
[00:21:26] And then Taryn's also working on some longer form interviews with some Big Brother 26 stands
[00:21:31] out as well.
[00:21:33] So be on the lookout for that.
[00:21:34] Thank you so much for joining us.
[00:21:35] Take care, everybody.
[00:21:36] Have a good one.
[00:21:36] Bye.
[00:21:38] Bye.
