[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_00]: 30th, I'm your host Taran Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday
[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00]: On the Big Brother 26 Live Feed, it was day 76 in the house
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's more progress I guess on the plan for the week
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Attempts at history being made and we're going to talk about it all
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And with me to talk about it all is Matt, how you doing Matt?
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm good, I'm good, I'm sharing your same sentiments or thoughts about September 30th
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, we're not usually still in Big Brother mode at this time
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously the past couple of years we have been
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And October means a couple things, spooky seasons around the corner
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_02]: The season is almost over, two more weeks and we're really in the home stretch here
[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know how much actual progress we did make yesterday
[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_02]: But we're still in the house
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, of course, as you all know MJDHOH nominated Kimo and Rubina also won the Vito
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And is now looking to potentially as of yesterday was looking to maybe use the Vito and Rubina
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Put Kim on the block, maybe to send Kim home, maybe to not send Kim home
[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: After his abysmal performance in the Vito competition
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: She was thinking you know what maybe we do send him home
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we just do that
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's kind of where we start the day is that Kim might be sent home
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: He did get a warning from Chelsea the day before as well, so you know, we'll see
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean as we saw two nights ago
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_02]: The frustration that they had with Kim was really taking over their emotions
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And thinking about how to proceed in the game
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And this season we use the Vito every single week
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So the idea of not using the Vito just sounds like a crazy concept
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_02]: As the day settles in, we'll talk about it
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It seems like that does kind of fade off a little bit
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And maybe we are looking at the first week of the season where Vito doesn't get used
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Which would be very unfortunate because it's caused a lot of fun TV, fun feeds
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Every step along the way but look, we had a good run
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We certainly did
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, well, of course to start the day
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Kim used the warning he got from Chelsea to good effect
[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: He immediately goes and runs to MJ in the morning
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And is basically going to be pitching like, hey, I really am just that bad at comp-
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I promise
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not intentional
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And this is kind of the story of the day
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe even really the story of the season is that like, Cam tries
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Rubina and Kimo don't
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of different ways you can interpret what you just said there
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_02]: As far as the game goes, as far as some competitions go
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_02]: As far as trying to get far in the game
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Did I say that already?
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, as far as his competition situation
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_02]: He was really going to hold tight to this explanation of
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Look, no one's more upset about this than me
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I have to go in the DR and apologize to my friends and my family
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Because they're seeing me fail too
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You think it's easy on me to just constantly fail and fail and fail
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And MJ is impressing upon him
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: You lost to Kimo by so much
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Kimo, why would you ever lose to Kimo and you lost to Kimo?
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, yeah, I know, I know it's
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Trust me again, I keep apologizing
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: People are going to be so embarrassed to me
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Trust me, this is hard on me too
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So look, she's obviously lost again a lot of the anger she had towards this situation
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Over the course of at least the night
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like she's coming in super hot
[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And like confronting somebody to their face about a topic like this
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And saying, I can't believe you did so bad
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like such a strange thing in the first place that this conversation is like
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, what are we actually even talking about?
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those things I feel like this occasionally happens
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that MJ wanted to put Kim on the block
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Right from the beginning of her HOH
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: She talked about the idea of using the veto on Rabina and putting Kim on the block
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Something she wanted to happen
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Then when Kim performed so poorly
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, ooh, here's a good reason
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_00]: He's so bad at these competitions
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Or he's throwing these competitions
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_00]: He's doing something shady
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00]: That gives me the excuse I need
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: To put Kim on the block
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Perfect
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The problem with finally like honing in on a reason
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that when it's not a very good one
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's just an excuse
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Is that when Kim comes in and he's like
[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry guys
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know what to do
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I got the yips
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And like really disarms that one reason
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Now it's kind of like
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, now the reason is gone
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I can't go back to like
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm doing it anyway
[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I really put it all on this one reason
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it really started to seem like she was
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Feeling like she might walk it back
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But she's going to think about it for a little while first
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was listening in on
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it was this conversation
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I think it was MJ talking to Chelsea at some point later
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's not like the most relevant
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But it goes back to the point you were just making
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_02]: About how she was looking for a reason for Kim to go up
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_02]: She was just talking about how ever since
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Tucker left that Rabina and Kim have been flocking to her
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And she just feels like this
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: She didn't say this in so many words
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But it feels like she feels this sense of like
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Motherhood over these two children
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: That she's just like has under her wing in the game
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And so to some extent
[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Like to have them both go forward with her
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Another step obviously we know her connection with Chelsea
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Is you know, been pretty unbreakable
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how that goes all the way to the end
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_02]: But feeling like if she goes farther with these two
[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That like there's just some you know
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_02]: More safety for her where I don't think
[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_02]: She doesn't feel that with Kim
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: But like she really feels it for these two
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Helpless little birds in Rabina and Kimo
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_02]: That are really just you know flocking to her
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Because without Tucker they needed some comp
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Beast to you know to glom on to I don't know
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's just another angle
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That I hadn't really been thinking about
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: In terms of where her mindset was at
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: In thinking about putting Kim up
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00]: There's another component here as well
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_00]: That MJ is going to mention later
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is that you know Kimo and Rabina
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Still haven't talked to her about any of this yet
[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Still waiting to hear from them
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Now remember one of the big things from yesterday
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Was that Kimo and Rabina they were going to go talk to MJ
[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They were going to go try and get Chelsea on the block
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And if not Chelsea they're fine with Kim
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_00]: If that's what's going to happen
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_00]: And we were like oh man hope they don't go too hard
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_00]: For Chelsea and ruin their chances of Kim
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Because Kim seems pretty likely
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Of course what we should have realized was
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Man I hope they say anything
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That's you know par for the course here
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're still haven't talked to MJ
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And so later MJ comes back to Kim
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like listen you better start winning
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: These competitions and it's clear
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: She's been to the DER she's had some more time to think
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And she's made the decision
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't seem like she's going to put him on the block
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But she's going to really run him through the paces first
[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_00]: AKA just let him know that she was thinking about
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Putting him on the block and that he really
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Better wins some competitions if he wants
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: To stick around any further
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Of course is a great strategic idea to tell
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_00]: A person that you're playing with
[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes very much so yeah to go back to the
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Conversations that are not being had
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Rubina and Kimo you can look through the entire day
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Scrub through the entire set of feeds that don't exist
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_02]: In the archives that again aren't there
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: You won't find the conversations that you're looking for
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Between any of the nominees and MJ
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure there's some stuff later in the day
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Where Rubina does sit and have a little bit
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Of a chat with MJ and Chelsea will get to that
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: But none of the conversations are what you would expect
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Where you didn't have Cam when you didn't have Chelsea
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_02]: When the HOH won and it's worth having that
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_02]: One last conversation that one last pitch
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you said the two of them were talking about
[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Getting one of the other you know
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Chelsea or Cam on the block if possible
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Probably not possible maybe there was an opportunity
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: We have been talking about maybe she was going to
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Consider putting up Cam but obviously
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to get anywhere with that
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're not even talking to MJ
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_02]: The extent of like either one of the two of them
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Having any conversations with MJ
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Wasn't a conversation it was just more singing and dancing
[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: In the kitchen at some point during the middle of the day
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise it was hanging out in the backyard
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It was just a whole day of lounging
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing that you would want to see
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Out of two nominees at the final five
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_02]: But exactly what I would expect to see
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Out of Kimo and Rubina you know
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I really like them but gameplay
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't count on them
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Now to be fair they did talk about talking
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_00]: To MJ
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Well that's all that matters
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah I mean it's pretty close to the same thing
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah at some point during the day a plastic bag
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Like flew into the backyard and landed on Chelsea
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And that was like more movement than
[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Either Kimo or Rubina made pretty much all day
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_00]: This is more a threat to Chelsea's game
[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah exactly
[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I hope that gets a good rating on the stock watch
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Tomorrow night that plastic bag
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Well Chelsea joins the conversation with MJ and Cam
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And they both just take turns taking shots at him
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Rating him for not winning
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing it on a purpose
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Chelsea said well it could be a strategy
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Because you know here's the thing Cam
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody is targeting you next week
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be me or Chelsea
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Or it's going to be me or MJ
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like well no
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Well I'm going to win don't worry about it
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm trying to do better
[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to do better
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to win
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to happen
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get to the final three
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Three of us

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It helps nobody but him
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Very funny if that's the one he won
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's funny also watching some of them
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Try to figure out the schedule and what not
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like having a hard time deciphering
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Who knows what's coming up
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Who's lying about what they know about
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: What's coming up
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Considering how often Chelsea talks
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Because Chelsea would be the only one
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe Kimo
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: But he wouldn't bother saying anything about it
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Chelsea would be the only one that would know
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: The proper scheduling
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But she's so convinced that
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_00]: No women have ever made final three together
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think we have any real hope here
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I think she might have thrown in like
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I could be wrong or I could be delusional
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Or something like that
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: But she's definitely still convinced
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That it's never happened that two women
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Made it to the end
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And as the conversations are going to be
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Had on the podcast in general
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Over the next two weeks of what the ideal
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Final two situations are for all of these people
[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Chelsea's obviously going to come up
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Assuming she's still there at the final four
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Which we have most reasons to believe
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That she will be
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Who her ideal partner would be to sit by
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: At the end
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it one of those final two pairs
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: With her and either MJ or Rubina
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_02]: If Cam is still involved
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Is there any world that's more sensible
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_02]: For her to take him there
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So those conversations will be pretty interesting
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see if any of it has to do with
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Well this has never been done before
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Because it's just absolutely never been done before
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Every season it's either been two men
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_02]: One man, one woman
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Never two women
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, never
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The conversation does cycle back around
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: To Kimo or Rubina
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And once again it lands on Kimo
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Kimo is the better target
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: He's just more likely to win competitions
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Really, you know
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Kimo was being looked at as the target before
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: He was being looked at as a little more
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Threatening in competitions before
[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_00]: But winning that double eviction veto
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately for him
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Did not help him in terms of being targeted
[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: This week
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean in general it would have been nice for him
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_00]: He probably would have been in the final two
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: But because he's won more competitions
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: At the very least
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy I would say
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: He probably has a couple of key votes
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: But in terms of being targeted
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Did not help here
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Because he is the one that they want to evict
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's also just convenient narrative
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: For them as well
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Because we're going to see again later
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And we've seen
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, the past week or so
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Or a couple weeks
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_02]: MJ and Chelsea feel like
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_02]: They have a better hold on Rubina
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Than they do on Kimo
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe there's a world where they're worried
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That Kim would take Kimo
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Or you know some kind of
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Like keeping the two guys still in the house
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Just up against MJ and Chelsea
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Just doesn't seem like their ideal situation
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: When again they feel like
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_02]: They have more of a say over
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_02]: What goes on with Rubina
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Even though Rubina is at Chelsea's name
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_02]: During the double eviction

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's an awful thing to say strategically

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so much more powerful for her to think that

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_00]: She might want to make sure she wins

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: MJ has in front of her
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: That she could win
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Well obviously if she wins Vito
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And secures her spot there
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And then wins anything in the final three round

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean it's going to be a tough battle for Chelsea

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_02]: That in a jury of seven is going to be really important
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_02]: For Chelsea to hold on to if she can
