[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Everybody, what's going on? Rob Cicerdino back and we've got our exit interview with the winner of Big Brother 26.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll be talking with Chelsea, who was crowned winner of Big Brother. Taryn is still here.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Still here.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_02]: We had a sleepover after Big Brother. We were so excited.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Almost so excited. We almost stayed up all night and we're ready to go.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_02]: We had a great podcast last night talking about Chelsea and her legacy and everything from this season.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So check that out with everybody.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And of course, if you want to see the YouTube version of this podcast, check it out on our YouTube channel at robinswebsite.com slash YouTube.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Just a short interview with Chelsea today, Taryn.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Just a quick one.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_03]: They gave us seven, exactly seven minutes.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. Okay.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if we nailed it, but we tried.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We got close.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So just a short conversation with Chelsea today, but she's here.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And let's go ahead and bring you our interview with Chelsea.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Chelsea. What's going on?

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's Rob and Taryn from RHAP.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations on your extremely dominant run in BB26.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_02]: My first question for you is that, can you tell us as we watch you get towards the end game,

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_02]: can you tell us in some of the ways that you might've been using your superior Big Brother knowledge

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_02]: to subtly manipulate the other members of the final three?

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_01]: The members of the final three and even members of the jury, a lot of people weren't really knowledgeable of the game.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And so a lot, the final three that I was with thought this is a competition based thing.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Whoever, you know, beasted it the season and was going to win in the end.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I knew Cam felt like Mackenzie was more of a threat.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And Mackenzie just likes me better than Cam.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And she felt like she was going to win either way because she was a competition beast.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: So they both felt like being the competition beast was going to be the thing that won.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I used the knowledge that that is not always accurate to my advantage.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I let them think that.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But I knew, especially with this cast and this jury, that it was going to take more than winning competitions to win this game.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So I let them think that.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And I used their knowledge and my knowledge to my advantage.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And glad I did.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we saw you at the in the final week.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_03]: They're talking to Mackenzie about like, yeah, your game speaks for itself.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't even prepare a speech.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And she and she believed that she was very confident about her game as she should be.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: The girl won 11 competitions.

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: She was a beast.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Flowers to Mackenzie.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't even knock that.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: However, I let her believe that that's all she needed.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all she needed.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And when I knew and I read our house guests that that indeed may not be the only thing that she needed.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I've been strategic about everything I've done in this house.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was rehearsing my speech over and over in my head.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So I can't give away again.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, the jury to the jury.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I chose to withhold a lot until I needed to share.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And it benefited me.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, your relationship with Mackenzie was obviously very valuable throughout the game.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: In the early portions of the season when it was you and Brooklyn, it seemed like you two had Mackenzie and Leah kind of on lock.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But it wasn't something that like you were actively pursuing a lot early on.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And you end up losing that Cedric vote.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_03]: When was it that you realized, wait a minute, hold on.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: If I can control Mackenzie, I can maybe control the game.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So week two, when she revealed her power with me, when I was HOH, I had a decision.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Either I use it against her or I make her my ally.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So I would say halfway, I'd say when she was on the block with Tucker is when I decided this girl can hold her weight.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Either you go against her or you make her an ally.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_01]: She vocalized so many times.

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_01]: She just wanted to be loyal to people.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So nobody was rocking with her.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So I said, if I could protect somebody who was seen as a threat, it is a two-sided win for me.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: People will always probably gun after her before me.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And if I build trust with her, she will protect me over other people.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So it was smart to become an ally with that girl.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: She was a good player.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_03]: We also saw, you said to Mackenzie, you said in the diary that the Joseph vote, that was like a last minute swayed by Kimo's speech decision.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: How much of that was true?

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_03]: How much of that was like, because we know that you had discussed it before too.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And obviously it ends up being like a huge kind of move for you.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_03]: What went into that decision?

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Wasn't it really just Kimo?

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it wasn't really just Kimo.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It played a huge role in my decision making because I liked Kimo.

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And that was one of the most emotional decisions I've made in this game was keeping Kimo.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: However, when I got in that DR from Auntie Julie and I knew every eviction matters and I knew Joseph and Quinn were tight.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Leah was my biggest target at that time, not Kimo.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So I knew which person it helps Leah's game more.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Joseph did.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And which person would rather work with me?

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Kimo.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just going to throw Kimo my vote because keeping Joseph around does not benefit me.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And that whole week, Joseph had clearly stated how, you know, he thought he had the best game in the house.

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So I was just like.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Like Dr. Will.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Dr. Will.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He was Dr. Will.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That guy.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_03]: That guy, the doctor that won the competition.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It was emotional, but it was also smart for me to make that decision.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was willing to risk being on the wrong side because I'm on the wrong side and Joseph stays.

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm not too much in danger.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: There's been a lot of discussion about your because basically I can tell when you evicted Quinn, I was like, lock this game up.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Chelsea's got it.

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, nobody else was going to evict you.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I think for a long time we've been discussing like, OK, Chelsea is the winner.

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_03]: What does that mean?

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_03]: How does she stack up to the greats?

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_03]: You know?

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and so, you know, I don't know if you've heard, but I think pretty favorably.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_03]: How do you see your win?

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, like, how do you feel about your win as a super fan?

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Where do you feel like it fits in?

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I I honestly believe I'm I'm shocked at some of the statistics that I heard.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That wasn't my plan.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_01]: My plan was to be a diamond in this game, to be viewed as multiple perspectives.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And anybody who watched my game, whether my game hurt theirs or not, they can say this is respectable.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: This is beautiful.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I played just a well-rounded game competitively.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: The way I put it in my speech was strategically, socially and skillfully.

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And in those three areas, usually you see previous players are skilled in one of those categories.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to be skilled in all of those categories.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm shocked that I was able to maneuver myself in a way to to play a pretty good game in those categories.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Chelsea, I need to get a run soon.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, what's next for you now that you've won Big Brother?

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Asleep, uh, reconnecting with my family, getting acclimated into the real world again and going to see some of my students I've missed over the last three months.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I want a sense of normalcy for a little bit and then, uh, and then jump back into crazy.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, congratulations again.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, job well done and all the best to you outside Big Brother.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Rob.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Taryn.

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Take care.

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Bye.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, everybody.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_02]: There you have it.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Taryn, that's, uh, pretty good for seven minutes.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty good.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Pretty good.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, it's, we, we accomplished a lot.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: More than some people would.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: This was like a double eviction.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So we hope you enjoyed this conversation with our newest Big Brother winner.
