BB26 Finale Recap

BB26 Finale Recap

Rob Cesternino, Taran Armstrong, Melissa Deni, Aman Adwin, and Pooya are here for the recap of the finale of Big Brother 26.

[00:00:08] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Cesternino back with you here on a momentous, huge night that we have all witnessed. Humanity was saved! Our top story at this hour! I mean, humanity saved from the treachery of Ainsley! And also we crowned the most dominant, complete Big Brother winner we've seen in some time in Chelsea. Congratulations!

[00:00:37] Here on Finale Night! So we have a lot to get to here with our panel. The draft team is back! It was, what, some 90 some odd days ago we got back together and oh the fun we've had since then. Here with us first, back with us, Taren Upstrong. Taren, how are you?

[00:00:58] Rob, I was born for this. You were born for this? Yeah. You were bred for this?

[00:01:02] Rob, I was bred for this? I was born for this? And quite frankly, I'm here to take revenge.

[00:01:07] Rob Cesternino Oh no.

[00:01:08] Rob Cesternino You can't be taking out my AI allies.

[00:01:11] Rob Cesternino Yes. Okay. Well, Taren, I'm sorry. Well, luckily it was, we lost one AI ally and gained another one back as Janky was reincarnated tonight.

[00:01:23] Rob Cesternino Yeah. I mean, listen, Janky's back and if you think Janky is going to stop at just singing a song, you have another thing coming.

[00:01:32] Janky's coming back. He's doing Reindeer Games Part 2. It's called, I said Janky Strikes Back. You said Janksgiving. I don't know which one it's going to be, but he's going to do something and he'd better.

[00:01:43] Rob Cesternino Yeah. We can only hope. Okay. All right. And we've got a panel of D1 podcasters here with us tonight. Of course, back with us, Amon Edwin. Amon, how are you?

[00:01:55] Amon Edwin I'm good. I'm good. Another one of the books. This season just really flew by and I'm pleased with the win and I'm pleased with just everything that Big Brother 26 has had to offer this season. So I'm glad to break it down and do a little postmortem tonight.

[00:02:14] Rob Cesternino Yeah. Yeah. Was it not really a shocking night in terms of most things went according to the script, but still two hours to talk about here tonight. Here with, we crowned another winner tonight. The winner of the draft, Melissa Denny, the voice of the people.

[00:02:33] Melissa Denny I'm a winner. I'm so excited. I never win anything. So this is amazing. I literally forgot that I had drafted her. And it, I mean, I forgot that.

[00:02:43] We did the draft. You know, you, I drafted her. I drafted her. I drafted her. Melissa is a D1 drafter. Do not disrespect her. But you know what? Big Brother's harder than anything D1. I honestly, I drafted her pre-baby. Now I have a baby. I didn't realize the season was that long.

[00:03:05] But it was. Does the baby get credit as a percentage of the person that drafted Chelsea?

[00:03:12] That's a good point. No.

[00:03:14] Wow.

[00:03:15] No. I'm taking full credit for this. I, uh, I'm very, very pleased. So, uh, great finale.

[00:03:21] Huge night for the married mothers.

[00:03:22] The first married mother to win the Big Brother draft.

[00:03:27] Huge night for married mothers, guys.

[00:03:29] You did it. You did it. Okay.

[00:03:31] You did it for us.

[00:03:32] All right. And then, of course, uh, back with us, uh, Pooja, Pooja, how are you?

[00:03:37] I am great, Rob. This is, this has been such a good season. And I feel like the ending, while maybe a little predictable, I still think there was some unpredictable stuff that happened last night, which we'll talk about.

[00:03:48] And, uh, no, I'm riding a complete high. It's been a great 90 days and we get to put a nice ball.

[00:03:55] 90 day fiance.

[00:03:57] Listen, the marketing's right there, Rob.

[00:04:00] Yeah. Was that Tucker and Rubina? Cause that's kind of thought what I, he was going for, but he said, hold on. I have something, something to give you.

[00:04:08] I got so worried. I got so worried when he reached back. I was like, no, no, no, no. Oh, they're flowers. Okay.

[00:04:13] I was like, okay. We're good. We're fine.

[00:04:15] Luckily also Julie was there to clarify what the flowers meant. Just, just so you're aware, Rubina, now that Tucker has given you some flowers and hugged you, uh, he did actually say he was interested. I'm glad I can be the one to break this news to you. He is interested.

[00:04:32] You know, I think that Chelsea really rubbed off on Julie cause she had big auntie energy throughout that whole segment of then when they explained who the AI instigator was. Okay.

[00:04:42] Now Rubina, the reason why Tucker thought that that happened was he wanted to make sure that people knew about that relationship.

[00:04:52] There's been a lot of time on that.

[00:04:54] There's been a lot of time on apologies. The entire like reunion was just one person apologizing to another person, apologizing to another person, apologizing to another person, apologizing to another person.

[00:05:04] Yeah. Oh, well, we've got a lot to get to. We'll take your questions here in this recap tonight, but we've got all of the wackiness to talk about from two hours of big brother, but let's start with our top story at this hour that Chelsea ends up becoming the winner, a clean sweep.

[00:05:26] I think that there was, uh, some question of whether or not that it would be a sweep. I think that Leah and Angela certainly, uh, faked me out a little bit in terms of what they were ultimately going to do, but a totally dominant night at the end of a dominant season from Chelsea.

[00:05:47] Yeah. I, uh, I, I, I was, I was wondering, so I thought that was like one of the last little things of intrigue was whether or not she could get the unanimous win.

[00:05:57] And I mean, I have to admit, even when McKenzie ended up winning the final HOH, I was still like, is there like a moment of lucidity here that could happen?

[00:06:05] Is there maybe a chance that we might see something, um, upset what we've been thinking was going to happen, but no, but, um, yeah, I thought that maybe.

[00:06:16] I think Angela or Leah might give McKenzie a little vote because, and it wouldn't even be out of pity because yes, obviously, uh, Chelsea's game is much more stronger, but I, you know, I think that at least Leah's relationship with McKenzie may have pulled through in some arena, but I guess.

[00:06:34] See, I know that everyone talks about how it's already a foregone conclusion by the final Q and a, like the Q and a is not going to impact it.

[00:06:42] I'll say this much.

[00:06:43] If I was coming in voting for McKenzie after listening to Chelsea's speech, to Chelsea's answer, to her plea, to her energy, and then hearing McKenzie do the same response and not hit, I couldn't get myself to put her name in that box.

[00:07:00] There's no shot.

[00:07:00] I'm doing that.

[00:07:01] Um, I feel like I also got a little faked out, obviously with the round table and everything that this is not going to go down unanimous, but I ultimately think the right thing happened here.

[00:07:10] Unanimous is the exact level of credit.

[00:07:14] I think Chelsea's game needed to end this season.

[00:07:16] 100%.

[00:07:17] Yeah.

[00:07:17] I mean, I mean, the vibe I got from the round table was that, uh, you know, and I, and I talked about how like the move to get out Leah was not super important in terms of Chelsea's positioning.

[00:07:28] She even mentions it herself.

[00:07:29] Like the move to get out Quinn was like really, really huge, but what the move to get out Leah did for her was just completely discredit MJ in the jury.

[00:07:38] And I think we saw that in the round table when it wasn't the people she screwed over in Leah and Angela that were upset about it.

[00:07:45] It was Quinn who was like, Leah, I get that you're not upset about it, but I am.

[00:07:50] That was such a dumb move.

[00:07:52] It didn't help her at all.

[00:07:53] And for Chelsea to be able to take credit for that move and for that move to be the move that MJ points out in her speech and her answer to be like, that was my move.

[00:08:03] And then Chelsea gets to be like, sorry, that was my move.

[00:08:06] Um, and if two people are arguing over it, it's not hard to look at it and be like, well, it's certainly benefited one of you a lot more than the other.

[00:08:14] Uh, and so I think that, uh, that ultimately, even though Leah and Angela seemingly went to the jury feeling like they were, they were leaning toward, uh, toward voting for MJ.

[00:08:25] Uh, it seemed like the pushback was like, listen, we get that you're not bitter against the people, the person that sent you both out kind of, but like, you know, she screwed up.

[00:08:36] And MJ and, and, and Chelsea deserves this.

[00:08:39] Yeah.

[00:08:39] I mean, Chelsea did such a number on MJ.

[00:08:43] I think that it's, uh, we need to check in on MJ.

[00:08:46] Is, is she okay after this?

[00:08:48] Oh, she was not unaware of what was going to happen.

[00:08:51] She seemed, she doesn't even need the money.

[00:08:52] She was so happy for Chelsea that, I mean, that what, what a, uh, like, she's like, I don't even know how to explain it.

[00:09:02] That, uh, she was happier for Chelsea than she was for herself.

[00:09:05] She was laughing and making all these faces.

[00:09:08] She had the best time ever losing to Chelsea.

[00:09:11] She was nodding along as Chelsea was like, this is why I deserve the $750,000.

[00:09:17] And I'm just like, yeah.

[00:09:19] Honestly, the level of ease.

[00:09:23] I mean, sometimes we, we all hate that phrase that like, oh, you know, everybody's a winner.

[00:09:29] You know, I, even though I lost, I'm still winning.

[00:09:32] Honestly, I might believe that when it comes to McKenzie, because if I was able to walk out and just feel just effortless ease after losing out on $750,000.

[00:09:42] Like, I mean, I'm just like, and she's saying she's 22 and doesn't need $750,000.

[00:09:49] I don't know what's going on over there.

[00:09:51] I don't know what her family does, but like.

[00:09:53] Only a 22 year old would think they don't need $750,000.

[00:09:56] Girl, you got it.

[00:09:58] She's up $75,000.

[00:10:01] I'm wondering, I'm wondering like if she'll feel a little differently once she hears that Chelsea was saying she was going to take Cam.

[00:10:09] Like, I mean, now at this point, Chelsea can be like, of course, I was going to take you MJ.

[00:10:13] And it's like, yeah, okay.

[00:10:15] She could believe that.

[00:10:16] But like, I feel like if I was MJ and I thought like we were in this together, it was the two of us.

[00:10:22] And if one, if I couldn't win, I'm so happy for her to win.

[00:10:25] And I know that she feels the same way.

[00:10:26] And she would have taken me to the end because like, you know, we, we were in this together and we'd be happy for each other.

[00:10:31] And like, to know that Chelsea wasn't going to do that, like maybe that would change her mind.

[00:10:36] But I feel like she won't say that.

[00:10:39] I feel like it'll look bad if Mackenzie is like, yeah, now actually I'm pissed about this.

[00:10:44] I think like in order for her to accept it, she needs to kind of be like, I'm happy for her.

[00:10:50] If I couldn't win, I would have wanted her to win no matter if she would have taken me or not.

[00:10:53] Like, I don't know.

[00:10:55] Yeah.

[00:10:55] I don't think there's any.

[00:10:57] Go ahead, please.

[00:10:57] Sorry.

[00:10:58] So to me, MJ wanted to get to the end.

[00:11:01] As every player does, you want to get to the end.

[00:11:02] But it was very clear from early on that MJ was very content with being like, as long as I can get to the final two chairs, petrified of going out at final three, petrified of going out of final four.

[00:11:13] And there's something to be said about the way her story started, where she does start a little bit on an island, bit of a lone wolf.

[00:11:20] After Matt leaves, she kind of has nobody for a little bit.

[00:11:23] Chelsea scooped her up and Chelsea basically gave her this journey and this narrative.

[00:11:28] We are two badass women who are dominating this jury phase of the game.

[00:11:33] Me, you, me, you back and forth.

[00:11:35] I genuinely think MJ gets to the final two content with whichever one of us wins.

[00:11:40] We did that together.

[00:11:41] We dominated.

[00:11:42] We are the theme of the season.

[00:11:44] Not so much thinking of it from an individual standpoint, because I truly think that Chelsea, obviously a lot more independent, a lot more looking for the win for herself.

[00:11:53] I think for MJ, this was a net win for both of them.

[00:11:56] Yeah.

[00:11:57] I mean, listen, I'm just I think we desperately needed this.

[00:12:01] Like Chelsea on the live feeds was like, we're the next Madden Jag.

[00:12:05] And like, I'm really glad that they're not because it's been too long since like this mattered.

[00:12:12] Like not since, you know, Steve and Cody and like the decisions that were made back then that genuinely cost those people either the win or a loss where they genuinely just like took the like either took the person or cut the person that they thought they could beat them as opposed to just being like tricked into doing it.

[00:12:35] Like Jag takes Matt and still wins.

[00:12:38] And I think that gives people the perception that they can do that, too.

[00:12:41] I think that that's part of why MJ thinks, yeah, we are the next Matt and Jag.

[00:12:45] You know, Jag took Matt and he still won.

[00:12:47] No, we should have a meta strategy that is you should not be taking this person to the end.

[00:12:55] You should be going to the end with the person you can beat.

[00:12:57] And MJ is now a glowing example of it that will hopefully teach future players that they should be a little more self-interested and a little more cutthroat.

[00:13:06] And also Chelsea did an amazing job of like taught like a master class of like, how do I dupe two stooges to want to lose to me in the end?

[00:13:17] Like both of these things like are happening at the same time.

[00:13:20] So, you know, it really was like fantastic from Chelsea's perspective that she was able to just get these people just wanting to lose to her.

[00:13:33] Yes, exactly.

[00:13:34] And it's not even that they were thinking because a lot of the time when the person convinces someone to take them, it's more like I'm going to convince you that I will lose to you like that.

[00:13:41] I'm weak.

[00:13:42] I'm not a good player.

[00:13:43] You are the winner and I just want to go with you.

[00:13:45] And that's usually the way the best person win.

[00:13:48] Right.

[00:13:48] Exactly.

[00:13:48] Go either way.

[00:13:49] And in this situation, she literally was like these people wanted to take her knowing that she probably was going to beat them or knowing that she she played a great game.

[00:13:59] There was no like illusion that like I'm going to take Chelsea because she's not very good and I have a better chance against her.

[00:14:04] It was just like, of course, I'm going to take her.

[00:14:07] Even Cam, even Cam said it.

[00:14:08] It's like I was shocked by that.

[00:14:10] I really thought that my A1 since day one.

[00:14:13] Yeah, I thought that Cam was going to be like, of course, I would take Mackenzie because I have a better chance of beating her.

[00:14:17] Chelsea's just so good.

[00:14:19] And instead he's like, I would I would have taken Chelsea because she's my number one.

[00:14:23] Like he knows he would have lost to her.

[00:14:26] I feel like what Puyo was talking about earlier with like just like the team effort, like narrative behind it all was just so instrumental for it.

[00:14:34] Like making making your allies feel like this is a team game.

[00:14:39] Like my your win is my win.

[00:14:42] My win is your win.

[00:14:43] So like when you get to the end, because like we can talk all day long about just like all of the things that we've seen in the past where this is not.

[00:14:51] You can be a woo.

[00:14:53] You can be a Cody.

[00:14:54] You're going to look stupid.

[00:14:55] But like after like 50 plus ish days of being with somebody who was constantly putting it in your head that we are together in this.

[00:15:04] It gets very, very hard to divorce yourself of that psychology when it comes down to it.

[00:15:09] And we saw it happen.

[00:15:10] Like literally like what you just said, Melissa, like she was saying.

[00:15:14] And I mean, like I'm not going to say a bad thing about this girl sitting right next to me.

[00:15:18] She played a doggone good game.

[00:15:20] I hope you don't vote for her and you vote for me.

[00:15:23] But no matter what, the choice that you do make is going to be a good one.

[00:15:27] It's like, yeah, what are you doing?

[00:15:31] I mean, that was a big part of it.

[00:15:33] Like Chelsea was spending the last few days talking to MJ about like, yeah, I haven't even prepared a final speech myself.

[00:15:40] I'm just going to say glory to God.

[00:15:42] I don't even know what I'm going to say after that.

[00:15:44] Meanwhile, she's like practicing every chance she gets.

[00:15:46] She's telling MJ like, yeah, your game speaks for itself.

[00:15:50] Like you don't even need a speech.

[00:15:52] Then MJ is standing up there like, so my game speaks for itself.

[00:15:58] And and so that multiple times because that's what Chelsea told her to say.

[00:16:03] Yeah.

[00:16:03] Although, you know, I will say this.

[00:16:06] So I watched the finale with Dennis and Dennis has not seen anything else.

[00:16:10] He has not watched any podcast, listened to anything, seen any of the big brother.

[00:16:14] He knows nothing about the season.

[00:16:16] And I told him to watch and tell me which two final which of the final two speeches he thought was better.

[00:16:21] And like he shockingly said that MJ had a better speech.

[00:16:26] And he said that Chelsea's speech was I'm one step ahead of all of you.

[00:16:30] And I knew this game, whereas MJ had a better story of being like, I came from nothing.

[00:16:36] I'm the underdog.

[00:16:37] And now now look at me here at the end.

[00:16:39] And I was like, OK.

[00:16:41] But in my mind, I was like, wait, what?

[00:16:43] Because I was I mean, Chelsea's speech was just so good to me.

[00:16:46] I loved all her questions, all the like the answers to all the questions were just so good.

[00:16:50] I felt like she killed it.

[00:16:52] But to hear that Dennis thought that MJ had a better speech was really surprising to me.

[00:16:58] I mean, it tracks because it speaks better to a person who doesn't watch Big Brother and hasn't played Big Brother.

[00:17:04] I mean, or who also see another thing I think is like if you're just listening to the speeches and you don't know if what they're saying is true or not,

[00:17:13] like you're going to hear Chelsea's speech being like, I've always been one step ahead of you and be like, no, you like I'm sure you haven't.

[00:17:19] Like, I'm sure there's no way that you've been one step ahead of every single person when really she has.

[00:17:23] So to me, I was like, yes, yes.

[00:17:26] Everything Chelsea was saying.

[00:17:28] But I could see a person who doesn't know just being like, I'm sure you were one step ahead.

[00:17:32] But she was.

[00:17:33] Yeah.

[00:17:34] I mean, I don't know how much of it has to do with, you know, them being two women.

[00:17:37] But I feel like, you know, it's always sort of like that, that double standard where it's like you have a girl who's who's clearly played a fantastic game.

[00:17:45] Right.

[00:17:46] And when she's aware of that.

[00:17:49] Yeah.

[00:17:50] She's our girl.

[00:17:52] When she's our girl and she's aware of the fact that she played a fantastic game and she's selling the fact that she has played a fantastic game.

[00:17:59] There's still always like this undercurrent of you can calm down now, sis.

[00:18:03] Like, well, why should she?

[00:18:04] Why should she?

[00:18:05] Because she did like literally everything that she said that she did.

[00:18:08] She did it.

[00:18:09] And that she's giving you the reasons as to why she should win.

[00:18:12] And, you know, you have Angela sitting there looking all stank, acting as if like what she's saying wasn't true.

[00:18:17] She voted for her.

[00:18:18] Maybe she had like a poker face.

[00:18:20] Girl, Angela.

[00:18:21] She's I have words for her if I ever see her.

[00:18:24] But I hope great words.

[00:18:27] Did you see the way she handled Matt?

[00:18:29] Yeah.

[00:18:30] OK, I did think that that whole Matt thing was like I I think Matt was just.

[00:18:35] Look, I know.

[00:18:36] Let's come back to that.

[00:18:38] Let's come back.

[00:18:38] Let's let's let's just stick with Chelsea because I don't want to end this conversation.

[00:18:42] Yeah, but we will we will stay tuned.

[00:18:45] Everybody will talk about Angela and Matt.

[00:18:47] I promise.

[00:18:48] I thought Chelsea did excellent.

[00:18:49] I was so impressed with all of her jury questions.

[00:18:52] Like I felt like I was so worried that she was going to not own her game and kind of just be like, I've played a loyal game.

[00:19:00] I've been, you know, the first question was a little scary.

[00:19:04] It felt like it might go that direction.

[00:19:06] No, I was.

[00:19:06] Yeah, exactly.

[00:19:07] And like I could see her being like, maybe the jury will appreciate loyalty.

[00:19:11] So like I'm going to say I played a loyal game.

[00:19:13] But I'm so glad that she was just like, I controlled the game.

[00:19:17] I controlled Mackenzie.

[00:19:19] Like, look what look where I am.

[00:19:21] Blah, blah, blah.

[00:19:21] Like, I thought her speech was excellent.

[00:19:23] Her answers were excellent.

[00:19:25] I think.

[00:19:26] Go ahead.

[00:19:26] Sorry, Rob.

[00:19:27] Yeah, I think there's something to be said about, you know, just having talked about you mentioned Dennis's reaction.

[00:19:32] And, you know, we talked about people who may not watch Big Brother.

[00:19:34] I think the big thing about the me, me, me direction of having your story be very much like I masterminded.

[00:19:41] I did this.

[00:19:42] I was in charge of everything.

[00:19:43] I think perception helps with that.

[00:19:45] So if people have the perception that you have done stuff, speaking like that only helps empower you more.

[00:19:51] And I think it speaks to and I think that energy, that passion, that's always what I've been looking for.

[00:19:56] You know, we've had some great, great final two speeches, speakers in the past.

[00:20:00] I feel like Paris is one that comes to mind.

[00:20:02] Kevin from a lot of BB can actually that Kevin.

[00:20:06] We've had Paris.

[00:20:06] We've had Kevin.

[00:20:07] We've had two different Kevins.

[00:20:09] And we've had Bailey this recent season.

[00:20:11] I feel like this is what I look for.

[00:20:13] I look for that passion that like I've literally spent the last two to three months in this house going to work.

[00:20:20] And here I am asking you, please let me be the poster child, which I think is huge.

[00:20:23] The problem for McKenzie on the other side of the foot is my game speaks for itself.

[00:20:28] Is it itself a very confident thing to say?

[00:20:30] The problem is they had already seen the part of McKenzie's game that spoke for itself, which was the comp wins.

[00:20:36] And they were looking for more.

[00:20:37] And there was not much more to offer in the speech, which I think just was a detriment to her as well.

[00:20:41] Well, I think it also helps that like when Chelsea is saying, yeah, I was one step ahead.

[00:20:46] I manipulated.

[00:20:48] She's she's not directly calling out any of the jurors.

[00:20:51] She's saying I manipulated her.

[00:20:55] The one I'm sitting next to.

[00:20:58] And and she and the proof of it is she just told you that evicting her closest ally other than me was her idea was her move.

[00:21:08] And it's like it's hard to argue against that.

[00:21:11] Mm hmm.

[00:21:13] Yeah, there was nowhere for her to go.

[00:21:15] And like just like I mean, she didn't I mean, yeah, I mean, the not preparing for your final two pitch really is evident here because everything that Chelsea said, you basically repackaged it and said the same exact thing.

[00:21:31] And then like what we're waiting for is for you to like go in for the kill.

[00:21:36] But really, the kill should have been you taking her out.

[00:21:39] Yeah.

[00:21:40] Would have won.

[00:21:41] So I thought that Chelsea had a really great moment in the one time that she was in, you know, potential danger in this home stretch of the season where, OK, MJ has won the final H.O.H.

[00:21:58] And she could make a decision.

[00:22:00] She could take Chelsea and lose or take Cam and win $750,000.

[00:22:06] And in that moment that I guess for Cam, it didn't really matter so much either way, lose to Chelsea, lose to MJ.

[00:22:15] But he did not like it was such a like lackluster attempt to even like, hey, MJ, this is it.

[00:22:24] This is your only chance to win.

[00:22:27] Take me.

[00:22:28] Do it.

[00:22:29] Like he was like he just went through the motions.

[00:22:32] And Chelsea like did not she did not just rely on that.

[00:22:36] It was going to work out in her favor.

[00:22:39] She's she mentioned MJ's parents.

[00:22:42] She started talking about like that.

[00:22:45] She's like I think that that was like a really powerful like she did not just like phone in.

[00:22:50] Be like, hey, like, come on, you got this.

[00:22:53] Like she really like made sure that that happened.

[00:22:58] Yeah, that's and that's indicative of what she's been doing over the last week.

[00:23:02] Like, obviously, things have been really slow and there haven't been a lot of conversations.

[00:23:05] But like this is the kind of work that Chelsea has been putting in all week to make sure that this decision went through.

[00:23:11] And it went through so solidly that MJ was making faces during.

[00:23:18] And Julie was like, this is a seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

[00:23:21] Seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

[00:23:23] Yeah, I know.

[00:23:24] I know.

[00:23:25] Don't worry, Julie, I was born for this.

[00:23:28] And like she was that confident in the decision.

[00:23:32] And and yeah, and then and Cam Cam couldn't even give us anything on the way out.

[00:23:37] Like, listen, I I I appreciate Cam on a level game wise that I think a lot of people underestimate him on.

[00:23:44] But like seems like a great guy.

[00:23:46] But he couldn't even he couldn't even say to Julie.

[00:23:49] Yeah, she made a mistake.

[00:23:51] She took the wrong person.

[00:23:53] Yeah, you couldn't even give us that.

[00:23:55] He was like, oh, well, I mean, I respect it.

[00:23:57] You know, it's like, come on.

[00:23:59] You know, at that point, at that point, like the screw your dogs at the crib.

[00:24:03] Can we please like something else, please?

[00:24:07] Let's not get blasphemous here.

[00:24:09] But I will say I want to I want to pat my my friend Chappelle on the back and agree with him that they've ruined our joke.

[00:24:17] This was an in joke on on our our Internet that Julie is not aware of.

[00:24:24] And Julie keeps pushing him to do it.

[00:24:26] And it's taken the luster away.

[00:24:27] And it makes me sad.

[00:24:29] I don't like it.

[00:24:30] It's never going to be an inside joke because he kept you in front of her for weeks.

[00:24:33] There's no way they would have picked up on it if not for us.

[00:24:36] You know what I mean?

[00:24:37] I say us very loosely.

[00:24:39] I had nothing to do with it.

[00:24:40] But be in a trial.

[00:24:42] Yes.

[00:24:43] Yes.

[00:24:45] Oh, man.

[00:24:46] Yeah.

[00:24:47] No, I was so disappointed in Cam because I really do like Cam a lot.

[00:24:50] And I do.

[00:24:52] I feel like I mean, on the roundtable every week, we've been rating Cam fairly high.

[00:24:57] I mean, except for this last week.

[00:24:58] But generally, like we rate him pretty high because he's been doing so well throughout the season.

[00:25:03] Maybe he's not controlling everything.

[00:25:05] But as a game player, he's been doing really well.

[00:25:09] It's just like he just kind of gave up.

[00:25:12] And that was disappointing to see because, you know, he could have very easily maybe.

[00:25:18] I mean, we say very easily.

[00:25:19] Who knows what would have could have happened?

[00:25:21] But he could he had a really great argument to make during that final two pitch.

[00:25:26] And he could have said, like, literally, this is your chance to win.

[00:25:29] I'm not going to win this.

[00:25:31] I mean, if he really didn't believe he would win, he should have said that.

[00:25:35] Everyone knew it.

[00:25:35] And not a single person said to MJ straight up.

[00:25:39] If you go to the end with Chelsea, you will lose the game.

[00:25:42] Everyone knew it.

[00:25:44] Nobody said it to her in plain English.

[00:25:46] Everybody danced around the topic.

[00:25:48] They were like, it might be tough.

[00:25:51] Or like, you might have a better chance against somebody else.

[00:25:54] Nobody just came out and said, you know, you lose to Chelsea, right?

[00:25:59] Like, 100%.

[00:26:00] Like, I'm not voting for you.

[00:26:02] Like, T-Corps is not voting for you.

[00:26:04] Like, Quinn's not voting for you.

[00:26:07] Rubina maybe came the closest when she talked about Chelsea's relationships.

[00:26:10] But even then, it was not nearly as, like, blunt and just straight up as it needed to be.

[00:26:17] Not a single person even tried that much.

[00:26:20] And that is the basics of what they should be saying.

[00:26:23] Mm-hmm.

[00:26:24] Yeah.

[00:26:24] I mean, I feel like when it comes to Cam, I really do feel like this whole not being able to win competitions thing also was a big damper on him.

[00:26:34] I mean, we got to hear him talk about it a little bit with Julian that he was, he came in very confident and was humbled by the experience.

[00:26:41] And, I mean, I said it on one of the morning updates this past season.

[00:26:45] I just, just because, you know, someone is a D1 athlete doesn't mean that your skills are going to cross over to basically carnival games.

[00:26:54] Because let's be real, Survivor, this is not.

[00:26:56] Okay.

[00:26:57] A lot of these comps are run-of-the-mill, skee-ball-type comps.

[00:27:01] Yes, some of them take endurance.

[00:27:03] Some of them take a lot of physicality.

[00:27:04] That's true.

[00:27:05] And some things can cross over.

[00:27:06] But I don't think that we should be expecting everyone that is packaged like Cam to do well in these competitions.

[00:27:13] And I'm glad that we have this fantastic example because I feel like it gives players like him a lot more leeway to be able to come into the game in the future and put more of an onus on your social game.

[00:27:24] Because you had the social game.

[00:27:26] You just had no killer instinct at all.

[00:27:28] Like you let everything happen to you instead of for you.

[00:27:31] And that's, that is like, you could have, you had a winning, there was a winning game here, Cam.

[00:27:36] You had the base of a winning game.

[00:27:38] I think.

[00:27:39] We talk about the carnival games, but like, this is new.

[00:27:44] I mean, this is old, but it's new to the new era.

[00:27:47] Like.

[00:27:48] And there were literal carnival games also this year.

[00:27:51] Janky carnival games.

[00:27:52] Anyways, if this were last season, Cam probably does win a lot more competitions.

[00:27:57] Right.

[00:27:58] And.

[00:27:59] This Cam.

[00:27:59] And, and, and, and, yeah.

[00:28:01] And that's, and that's really interesting, right?

[00:28:03] Because that's part of why there was so much more expectation for Cam to win.

[00:28:07] Because this has been the, the narrative of big brother over the last few years is that he should be able to win more of these competitions.

[00:28:14] And he probably does if they haven't changed the competition structure up, but because they have made the decision on a production level to change the competition structure up a little bit.

[00:28:24] But, like, Chelsea having a shorter thing on the endurance comp because she's shorter, like, a fair thing to do?

[00:28:34] Like, that's wild, right?

[00:28:36] And in a world where it's last season, that never happens.

[00:28:39] And Cam probably easily wins that competition.

[00:28:42] And so because Cam has, because Cam has been, is now in this season and he's losing these competitions and he has the expectation on himself and he has the expectation from other people that he should be winning the competitions.

[00:28:54] I think it does a huge amount to his confidence, of damage to his confidence levels.

[00:29:00] And, and that killer instinct that I think could be there if he has any kind of win.

[00:29:05] Think about Kenny who's talking about wanting to quit and then he wins a comp.

[00:29:08] He's like, maybe I'll stick around.

[00:29:09] I think it's the same thing.

[00:29:11] It's like this, just like, I'm useless.

[00:29:13] I can't win anything.

[00:29:14] Therefore, why should I even try at all?

[00:29:15] And I think that you see this man just get demoralized over the course of an entire season to the point where, yeah, he just leaves.

[00:29:22] He doesn't even try very hard.

[00:29:24] I mean, like the well-deserved thing that he kept saying was really like subtext for like, y'all beat me.

[00:29:31] I didn't deserve it.

[00:29:32] Yeah.

[00:29:32] I had every chance that I missed all of them.

[00:29:34] I couldn't get it.

[00:29:36] I gotta go.

[00:29:36] So like, yeah.

[00:29:38] And I think that that's, there's something to be said about, you know, we look at previous winners.

[00:29:42] You look at players.

[00:29:44] There's not a lot of players that can have the level of killer instinct and wielding of power with no comp wins.

[00:29:51] There's not many of them in this show that have been able to do that.

[00:29:55] Usually comp wins to what Taryn and Amani have been saying is it gives you that confidence.

[00:30:00] It gives you that thought of like, I have agency.

[00:30:03] Wasn't there that guy that won the show and he didn't win anything?

[00:30:06] There was that one guy.

[00:30:08] He was like a doctor.

[00:30:09] He was like a doctor or something.

[00:30:10] He was a doctor, you know, recently retired from the round table.

[00:30:13] You should ask Joseph.

[00:30:15] I bet he knows.

[00:30:15] Yeah.

[00:30:16] Oh, he's very familiar with that guy's game.

[00:30:18] There's not a lot of them, though, is what I'm trying to say.

[00:30:20] And like, not everyone can play that level of game.

[00:30:21] I think for a lot of people, winning is synonymous with agency, winning is synonymous with decision, winning is synonymous with power.

[00:30:28] And I think that Cam definitely gave me that energy.

[00:30:31] And I think it helps that he is coming in thinking I'm D1.

[00:30:36] I'm going to win some of these.

[00:30:37] I'll make something happen with them.

[00:30:39] And it's a very humbly experience to have won a total of one veto this season.

[00:30:44] And he was there the whole 90 days.

[00:30:46] One veto.

[00:30:47] Hey, keep your head up, bro.

[00:30:49] So, like, I mean, I think that he, his social game was pretty spot on throughout the entire season.

[00:30:58] I just wish that there would have been just a little bit more of a drive there.

[00:31:02] And, you know, obviously we've kind of broken down why there might not have been.

[00:31:05] But I just think that goes to show, like, you know, for those, for those people that do come into Big Brother in a future season that,

[00:31:14] and you do consider yourself to be a bit of an athlete or someone that is going to be a comp threat, like, start just putting more onus on your social game and your social capital.

[00:31:24] First and foremost.

[00:31:25] I think you should go in thinking about that first.

[00:31:28] And then we can talk about winning some competitions to make your, to carry through with your agenda.

[00:31:33] Because I think that there was so much more room for him to play that, you know, we just, we missed out on.

[00:31:37] But that's part of what I loved about Chelsea's speech was that she kept talking about how I didn't rely on competition wins.

[00:31:44] And I feel like that's a message that needs to be said in Big Brother, especially after last season.

[00:31:50] And because you can't, you shouldn't go in.

[00:31:52] It doesn't matter that the previous six years had been one way for Cam.

[00:31:56] They decided to change it this year.

[00:31:58] And there's nothing he can do about that.

[00:32:00] And because of that, he plays an entirely different game than he might have last season.

[00:32:04] And just like, because I really want to just hammer this point home.

[00:32:08] But like, think about it.

[00:32:09] If Cam was a couple of seconds faster and one of the rounds of the final four veto, and he wins it instead of MJ.

[00:32:17] It was a very close veto.

[00:32:18] He wins that competition instead of MJ.

[00:32:20] He evicts MJ at the final four and goes into the final three with Rubina who's taking him.

[00:32:26] With him maybe taking Rubina.

[00:32:28] And at the very least, he's made this move to cut McKenzie.

[00:32:31] You start looking at his entire game differently.

[00:32:35] You start looking at Cam as, well, he was laying low and then he won when he needed to.

[00:32:39] And he made the decisions that he needed to.

[00:32:40] All because of a couple of extra seconds.

[00:32:43] Like, that is how massive an impact that competition wins have over the perception of somebody's game.

[00:32:51] I mean, Rubina beat MJ in the AI arena by like one second.

[00:32:56] Like, imagine what the season would have been if Rubina wins that one.

[00:33:01] Yeah, exactly.

[00:33:02] Yeah, exactly.

[00:33:03] So it's just, it's so fascinating to me how much things can change based on these tiny, tiny little increments.

[00:33:12] Some of which are not even in the control of the players at all.

[00:33:16] Um, and that example, uh, being used for Cam, somebody that you're used to being able to see win competitions and have that kind of agency, I think is very much true for every player in these previous years who also never had a chance to win any of those competitions.

[00:33:30] And also had just as much potential to have agency and a presence in the game that they never were able to find.

[00:33:37] All right.

[00:33:38] I want to just talk about Chelsea in terms of her legacy.

[00:33:43] I really feel like that her game is going to age especially well.

[00:33:48] I really think that, I think the sky's the limit when people start talking about looking back at Chelsea.

[00:33:54] And I see in the, in the chat, Ashley says Chelsea top five all time player.

[00:34:01] Like, I think that's in the conversation.

[00:34:03] Yeah.

[00:34:04] Yeah.

[00:34:04] I, I think, um, I mean, it just strip everything away.

[00:34:08] If you look at, uh, first time winners, right?

[00:34:12] Like one time winners, one time, one game, one win.

[00:34:15] Um, I think she, you, you have an argument to make that she is one of the best bar none.

[00:34:21] Um, like, uh, you look at her, you look at Derek's winning game.

[00:34:26] You maybe look at Dan's winning game.

[00:34:29] You probably don't even look at Will's winning game.

[00:34:31] Um, you, and you, you can't, you know, you other ones like Cody, sorry, it was your second time.

[00:34:36] Like, uh, we're talking one time winners.

[00:34:38] Like she is in that conversation easily.

[00:34:42] Um, and, uh, and I think that says a lot, right?

[00:34:45] I think that she is just cemented herself on, uh, you know, on the, the, the hall of legends,

[00:34:53] the, uh, the, the, the pantheon of big brother.

[00:34:56] Uh, she is, is in that space.

[00:34:59] Um, and, and I don't think anything is going to, uh, take her out of it.

[00:35:04] I think she is just locked in.

[00:35:05] I think what I like the most about her game, and I'm excited to listen to everyone's comparisons

[00:35:13] and contrast and never ending conversations when it comes to talking about big brother winners.

[00:35:18] But what I like the most is, you know, you have somebody like Derek, who we, you know,

[00:35:23] all consider to be extremely dominant, like 90% of the time just was already always the

[00:35:28] big puppet master seeing overseeing everything.

[00:35:31] Then you have somebody like Dan.

[00:35:33] Any help to kill Ainsley.

[00:35:34] Any help to kill Ainsley.

[00:35:36] We can't forget that.

[00:35:38] What if we forget?

[00:35:39] And then you have somebody like Dan, who was sort of like a little bit more underhanded,

[00:35:44] played sort of like the wounded bird, sort of had to play from the bottom all the way

[00:35:48] back to the top.

[00:35:48] And then you have somebody like Chelsea, who did both things in one game.

[00:35:52] I think that that is just like, yes, just, it's like a nice little sandwich of just like

[00:35:58] goodness.

[00:35:59] And I'm just really excited to just look back on it and talk about it.

[00:36:02] Yeah.

[00:36:02] We watched her majority Alliance get outed.

[00:36:07] Her Alliance members get like taken out back to back.

[00:36:11] And we watched her build the empire back on from the ground up.

[00:36:14] We watched her.

[00:36:15] I think also like surviving Janky World Week was a huge win for her.

[00:36:20] And I think that she played good in position as a power.

[00:36:23] She played good in position where she had no power.

[00:36:25] And I think that that was a really, really well put thing altogether.

[00:36:29] Also a unanimous win.

[00:36:31] Now, I think that factors in as well easily in like.

[00:36:36] I'm not going to be able to think of all the big brother winners off the top of my head,

[00:36:38] Rob, but to me, it's definitely top seven.

[00:36:41] It's definitely probably top five.

[00:36:43] It could be top three.

[00:36:44] And I'll say this.

[00:36:45] If you say you're number one, I'm not mad at it.

[00:36:47] I don't think it's a bad pick.

[00:36:48] Like if this was your you're like, this is my favorite or best winner ever.

[00:36:52] I'm not.

[00:36:52] I don't think that's outside of the realm of conversation either.

[00:36:55] Yeah.

[00:36:56] Yeah.

[00:36:56] I would say that if you look at all of the stats and everything that happened,

[00:37:01] like objectively, like I think it's all there.

[00:37:04] I think the only thing that you would say in terms of like the show,

[00:37:07] like she did not have the edit that a lot of these other like iconic players had.

[00:37:13] And I think that's going to be something that I think that history will be kind to her.

[00:37:17] But I do think that probably if you polled people, the people on the streets,

[00:37:22] I don't think that they would necessarily have that same impression.

[00:37:25] Yeah.

[00:37:27] And I think there's always going to be sort of like it's hard to uproot legends.

[00:37:32] America's favorite player.

[00:37:33] It didn't even make the jury.

[00:37:36] But he would have on any other like on most more recent seasons,

[00:37:40] which I was like, I don't know about that.

[00:37:42] That's that.

[00:37:43] And like that, that felt a little bit a little off to me.

[00:37:45] But yeah, I am.

[00:37:47] But she wasn't in the top three of America's favorite player.

[00:37:51] No, she was not.

[00:37:51] I mean, that's not super unusual for a winner.

[00:37:54] No, no.

[00:37:56] I don't know.

[00:37:56] I feel like, look, like Chelsea, like she.

[00:38:01] Her game, like I'm sort of annoyed that like we didn't get a chance to like have like live feeds,

[00:38:06] like flashbacks this time so that we could actually like go back and like really, really dissect.

[00:38:13] That's sort of unfortunate.

[00:38:14] But in a way, in a way, maybe not, because I feel like a lot of people were very, very like I'm adamant about actually recording this time around.

[00:38:20] So maybe there will be a lot more Chelsea footage that we give ourselves credit for.

[00:38:24] But I just think that her game is just it's such I don't think that we were I don't think anybody was really expecting this type of game this season.

[00:38:31] And I feel like, again, like I was saying before, I feel like it's kind of hard to uproot legends.

[00:38:37] And we've been so we've been talking about people like Derek and Dan and Dr. Will for so long.

[00:38:44] And we've been talking about like what the ingredients of their winning games are.

[00:38:47] And it's just nice to have someone in the modern era that borrows bits and pieces of everyone's and make something new.

[00:38:56] It feels fresh.

[00:38:57] It feels it just feels exciting to talk about because now it's like, OK, Big Brother doesn't have to be this stagnant conversation anymore.

[00:39:05] We can start moving forward with people that look different, too.

[00:39:09] That's another cherry on top.

[00:39:10] So it's just it's it's it's really fantastic to see.

[00:39:14] Yeah. And again, like obviously I've been saying this for a while now because we've been having this conversation for a while now.

[00:39:20] But like a lot of people will point to, you know, in the moment talking about mistakes, nitpicks like did she mean to do this?

[00:39:30] She flipped the Joseph vote of the last like stuff like that that I think matters in the moment.

[00:39:36] But like what matters when you're talking about a player's legacy and you're talking about like where you put them in the rankings of all winners or something like that.

[00:39:47] Those things are not as important.

[00:39:50] And like obviously for the for the detail oriented, they're going to be important.

[00:39:55] Yes.

[00:39:56] But when it comes to the overall conversation, just how people are remembered, a lot of these winners that we talk about, like a lot of people compared her to Maggie because Maggie is remembered as like one of the most dominant, especially, you know, back in the year, like for a long time.

[00:40:15] Not a lot of dominant female players.

[00:40:17] And Maggie was seen as like one of the more dominant women to play the game.

[00:40:21] So a lot of people were looking at Chelsea as like, is she as good as somebody like Maggie?

[00:40:27] As if people ever remembered Maggie as a good player until like 10 years later.

[00:40:32] You know what I mean?

[00:40:33] Like and like Maggie was certainly not without her flaws.

[00:40:39] Like and it's very easy to overlook that when you're watching it 10 years later and you're not watching the feeds or you're not in that conversation.

[00:40:46] So like that's, I think, a really important point to point out.

[00:40:49] If you think that you are like going back and comparing her to previous winners and you're like, well, it's Maggie.

[00:40:55] That's because you're not in the world of Maggie playing that game.

[00:40:59] Same thing with a player like Vanessa, who we remember very fondly because she was such a good player.

[00:41:04] Certainly also a very flawed player.

[00:41:06] Dan is a flawed player.

[00:41:08] Will is a very flawed player.

[00:41:11] Derek, he was on top the whole time.

[00:41:13] We never saw the adversity that we wanted to see.

[00:41:16] You know what I mean?

[00:41:17] So like there are all kinds of reasons to nitpick all of the winners.

[00:41:21] And you have the most amount of reasons right now to nitpick Chelsea because it's fresh in your memory.

[00:41:26] But I think that's why Rob says like this is a win that's going to only age better and better with time.

[00:41:33] Because the stats are there.

[00:41:35] The fact that she was taken.

[00:41:36] The fact that she won unanimously.

[00:41:38] The fact that she was only on the block once and then saved herself with the AI arena.

[00:41:41] And if she had stayed on the block, the entire house was flipping to keep her.

[00:41:46] There's so many things that are there that like you can't just discount those things either because they're huge.

[00:41:53] They're important.

[00:41:53] I loved her.

[00:41:55] I was just I loved her during her speech.

[00:41:58] Her little quip about the win percentage.

[00:42:00] I think I was like, oh, yeah.

[00:42:02] Yeah.

[00:42:02] You better narrow it down.

[00:42:03] Very Shannon Gus.

[00:42:05] You're going to say that.

[00:42:06] Shannon somewhere woke up from a sleep.

[00:42:08] They could have a higher winning percentage.

[00:42:12] That's a great comeback for if people are going to throw comp wins in your face.

[00:42:16] Well, I want more of the ones I was in.

[00:42:18] Yeah.

[00:42:19] Yeah.

[00:42:20] But I just think that Chelsea doesn't become the main character on the show, I think, until the point that Angela leaves, which is probably like three quarters of the way through the season.

[00:42:31] But it definitely like the like mastermind edit like was late, but it is there.

[00:42:38] And I think it's going to be like the lasting impression that people are going to have of the season.

[00:42:42] I think when people are going to look back, I think that people will probably, you know, remember it even more fondly than they're thinking of it at this exact moment.

[00:42:51] And honestly, like hopefully I feel like Chelsea is a player we'll see again.

[00:42:55] Like I really I I feel like she's somebody that would be willing to come back.

[00:42:59] I think she's somebody that absolutely should come back because I think that she is a person who has the ability to truly enter into that, like played multiple times and really performed well.

[00:43:11] And like like cement her place.

[00:43:14] You know what I mean?

[00:43:14] Like I feel like she is somebody that can actually accomplish that.

[00:43:20] And and it's been a while.

[00:43:22] Right.

[00:43:23] Like and not not everyone that plays well the first time wants to come back.

[00:43:26] You know what I mean?

[00:43:27] So I feel like, you know, I'm excited about the future of Chelsea and the future of this kind of gameplay on Big Brother and the fact that a game like this was able to thrive in modern Big Brother.

[00:43:41] Because as we've said, it's it's been a while since a game like this has thrived.

[00:43:45] Yeah.

[00:43:45] The fact that the jury respected the fact that the jury rewarded it 100 percent, I think that bodes well for future seasons because this is the kind of gameplay that we like to see.

[00:43:56] So, you know, it would have been really devastating, I think, or at least personally, if she had lost in the end.

[00:44:03] And then it's like, oh, OK, so once again, it's like the competitions that matter.

[00:44:07] And then another thing I was going to say is that like I just went back through my text to see like what my mom had said about Chelsea.

[00:44:15] Like because we were saying the casual fans like don't know her, don't know the game or whatever.

[00:44:19] And each time she said Chelsea is smart.

[00:44:22] And then another time she said Chelsea is strong.

[00:44:23] So, like, I mean, I feel like maybe they don't didn't know her as well, like or as well as like we knew her when watching the feeds.

[00:44:33] But they did know at least there was an edit there that she was smart and she was strong.

[00:44:38] So, you know, I guess that's good for her legacy.

[00:44:41] For what it's worth, my mom's favorite player was Chelsea.

[00:44:46] And she was very when I said Chelsea's granny.

[00:44:48] There you go.

[00:44:48] When I said Chelsea's going to win, she was like, oh, yes, she's my favorite.

[00:44:52] There you go.

[00:44:53] See?

[00:44:54] OK.

[00:44:56] All right.

[00:44:56] Let's talk about some of the other moments from this finale.

[00:45:02] OK.

[00:45:02] We had a pretty lively pre-jury segment when they came out and we got to hear from everybody except for Kenny.

[00:45:13] Good.

[00:45:13] I don't even think they put a mic on him.

[00:45:15] No.

[00:45:18] Rob, I don't know if you caught this.

[00:45:19] I'm pretty sure they just had his comic sitting in the chair.

[00:45:24] I don't think that was actually him.

[00:45:26] No, no, it wasn't his comic.

[00:45:27] It would have been pixelated if it was.

[00:45:29] Yeah.

[00:45:30] OK.

[00:45:30] So everybody came out and really it was a lot of Tucker.

[00:45:37] It was a lot of Tucker.

[00:45:39] And it was funny because Dennis's comment was like, why is he talking like that?

[00:45:44] Because he didn't know Tucker at all.

[00:45:46] I got to talk like this.

[00:45:48] What do you mean?

[00:45:49] Talk like that.

[00:45:50] I got to talk like this.

[00:45:53] Oh, Rubina.

[00:45:54] Oh, Rubina.

[00:45:56] I like the fact that if you tuned into the final five minutes of the show, you would think that Tucker won the season.

[00:46:04] Oh, yeah.

[00:46:06] Let's go.

[00:46:08] He gave this big speech.

[00:46:10] He inspired a lot of people.

[00:46:13] I don't think we've had an AAP speech like that before.

[00:46:15] You lady just cry and say, give me my check and bounce.

[00:46:18] You know, he really that thing of like, like, what was it?

[00:46:21] Like the third place meme of the guy.

[00:46:24] Yeah.

[00:46:25] Like, I mean, Tucker made a lot of money.

[00:46:28] He made 5,000 less than McKenzie.

[00:46:31] If you think about the 20K plus 50K.

[00:46:34] Yeah.

[00:46:34] Oh, my God.

[00:46:35] That's wild.

[00:46:36] Yeah.

[00:46:36] But, you know, props to the guy.

[00:46:38] Like, he really injected so much light.

[00:46:40] Oh, for sure.

[00:46:42] So, you know, if there was going to be anybody that was going to take this home, it should have been him.

[00:46:47] And he's been just such a joy to have.

[00:46:51] And this whole thing with him and Rubina was just, you know, equal parts awkward, but equal parts adorable, too.

[00:46:57] Just just a good time.

[00:47:00] Yeah.

[00:47:00] It was very cute.

[00:47:01] But yeah, you're right.

[00:47:02] It was like very awkward.

[00:47:03] Like that one part where she was like, don't hug me.

[00:47:05] And it's just like, OK, can we just move on, please?

[00:47:07] Yeah.

[00:47:08] I don't see.

[00:47:10] See, the thing is, I didn't even flag that as my awkward like interaction of a couple or a potential couple.

[00:47:16] I think the Matt and McKenzie one was by far the more awkward one.

[00:47:20] And it was so uncomfortable to be seated there.

[00:47:23] Not even where like I'm on the other coast and I felt uncomfortable.

[00:47:26] Stop forcing Matt into awkward early showmances that get evicted.

[00:47:32] It doesn't work.

[00:47:34] It doesn't work.

[00:47:35] Well, they really wanted to get this, inject this into the show.

[00:47:41] And Julie brought it up.

[00:47:42] And Julie was like a prosecutor of their like.

[00:47:46] I heard you say showmance twice.

[00:47:49] Mackenzie, you referred to Matt in the house as just a flirtmance.

[00:47:55] But I heard you say on two occasions tonight that he was a showmance.

[00:48:00] Can you explain that discrepancy to our audience?

[00:48:04] I mean, remember, you are under oath, man.

[00:48:07] Oh, my God.

[00:48:09] Yeah, no, that was so that was so awkward.

[00:48:12] I mean, all of Matt's segments were really awkward.

[00:48:14] That and then the Angela thing.

[00:48:16] It was like I just felt so awkward.

[00:48:18] And like I honestly my thought and I maybe like everyone is totally opposite of me.

[00:48:24] But my thought was like, Angela, just like let it go.

[00:48:27] Like let him just say like.

[00:48:29] I agree with you.

[00:48:30] Let's set this up.

[00:48:31] Let's set this up.

[00:48:32] OK, so Matt wanted.

[00:48:33] Julie said Matt would like to clear the air.

[00:48:36] And Matt took this opportunity to give his.

[00:48:42] He wants to apologize to Angela and let her know.

[00:48:45] Now, Taryn, this was huge that Matt is for the for the now finally.

[00:48:52] Yeah.

[00:48:53] Going to apologize or let Angela know he is going to forgive her.

[00:48:59] It's been 80 days.

[00:49:01] He's had a lot of time to think about how he wants to handle this situation.

[00:49:05] And so he gets up and he gives the same exact speech he gave her on day 10.

[00:49:13] Right.

[00:49:14] I forgive you.

[00:49:16] Don't worry about it.

[00:49:17] I know you've been wondering if I was going to hug you on finale.

[00:49:22] She's like, not really.

[00:49:23] I'm going to answer.

[00:49:24] I'm being the bigger person here and I'm actually forgiving.

[00:49:27] I'm going to play a clip.

[00:49:29] This is from July 25th.

[00:49:31] And Angela, before everybody here, I forgive you.

[00:49:33] Despite if you ask for it or not, I always will every single time.

[00:49:37] He already forgave her.

[00:49:39] It was the same speech.

[00:49:41] You had 80 days to go up with something new.

[00:49:44] It's got it.

[00:49:45] But it's like it's the producers for sure being like, we want to bring up this Angela moment.

[00:49:49] So how do we do that?

[00:49:51] OK, let's have Matt like bring it up or whatever and say he wants to clear the air.

[00:49:55] Well, Melissa, he also was what he was watching the live feeds and he heard that Angela was wondering about him.

[00:50:04] And I would love to bury the hatch with you.

[00:50:06] I've been watching the live feeds and you've been curious if I was going to give you a hug at finale.

[00:50:09] Not really.

[00:50:13] Darren, is that true, though?

[00:50:14] That is so deserved.

[00:50:16] Is that true, though?

[00:50:17] Did she say that to somebody?

[00:50:18] Was she wondering on the live feeds whether he would be a hug at the beach?

[00:50:21] I think it was 80 days ago.

[00:50:23] I don't think it's come up since.

[00:50:26] He's acting like she's been like losing sleep over it.

[00:50:31] Oh, my God.

[00:50:31] I don't know.

[00:50:32] Is he going to hug me?

[00:50:34] Is he not going to hug me?

[00:50:35] I just don't know.

[00:50:36] And he's coming in like, don't worry, Angela.

[00:50:38] I forgive you.

[00:50:39] I know you've been wondering about the hug.

[00:50:42] Well, bring it in.

[00:50:44] Really?

[00:50:45] No, I just feel like.

[00:50:46] Actually, not really.

[00:50:48] For me, I'm just like, I don't care.

[00:50:50] So I'm just kind of like, OK, just like move on.

[00:50:53] Say like, OK, that's great.

[00:50:54] This was the most exciting part of the finale.

[00:50:56] No, it was not.

[00:50:57] There were so many more.

[00:50:59] She gave us something.

[00:51:01] I laughed at it, but I agree with you, Melissa.

[00:51:03] I just feel like, look, for me, I'll just be mad at somebody that is very harmless.

[00:51:09] I just think that he is naturally cringe AF.

[00:51:14] That is who he is.

[00:51:16] He lives and breathes cringe.

[00:51:20] So when you try to out cringe a naturally cringey person, you are getting dragged down into the mud with them.

[00:51:29] It's like when you're trying to drag.

[00:51:30] This is what we're talking about.

[00:51:32] I understand that.

[00:51:33] But it's like when you're trying to drag the weak and insecure, it's like it just makes you look even.

[00:51:37] If you two had your way, there would never have been a crazy eyes.

[00:51:40] I'm not saying that it shouldn't happen.

[00:51:42] I'm just saying that I was like.

[00:51:44] But now, now it's like, just be like, I don't know.

[00:51:48] Like, I don't know.

[00:51:50] I mean, sure, it's fine that she can say like, OK, if you want to hug me, you can go ahead and hug me.

[00:51:55] But like the part where she was like, not really.

[00:51:57] I don't know what you're talking about.

[00:51:58] I want nothing to do.

[00:52:00] I don't think that he really meant anything by it.

[00:52:02] I think that he was just like, like, like I forgive you or whatever.

[00:52:06] Like, I think it was just to move on.

[00:52:08] Yeah.

[00:52:08] You good to move on.

[00:52:10] No, he makes everything about himself.

[00:52:12] Right.

[00:52:13] Okay, yes.

[00:52:13] The fact that you guys are not seeing through this is concerning to me.

[00:52:17] He also doesn't need to make MJ about him also.

[00:52:20] Yeah.

[00:52:21] In his like.

[00:52:22] He was like, oh, sorry.

[00:52:23] We accidentally matched.

[00:52:25] No, no.

[00:52:25] What matched?

[00:52:27] He's just cringe.

[00:52:28] And so it's like the idea that like, I think he's just trying to like, I think he genuinely is just like, this is a good way for me to like be on TV and say I'm sorry.

[00:52:38] Yeah.

[00:52:39] Yeah.

[00:52:39] I'm not saying he's a bad guy.

[00:52:41] I know, but I'm just saying like, let's just then just let it go.

[00:52:44] Like, I don't know.

[00:52:45] I just feel like.

[00:52:47] Angela's still part of the content cog though.

[00:52:50] So Angela was never going to just let it.

[00:52:51] She's going to.

[00:52:52] They are on TV.

[00:52:53] Yeah.

[00:52:54] I think it's two people who want to be on TV.

[00:52:56] Do you know what good TV?

[00:52:57] The main character.

[00:52:58] So they both.

[00:52:59] It's just like, no one is going to back off and be like, okay.

[00:53:02] For Angela, that he's not part of her being on TV anymore.

[00:53:08] Like, and for Matt, the only reason why he's a part of being on TV is Angela.

[00:53:14] So she, so he's like, Angela, I just wanted like, and she's like, you're not part of my thing.

[00:53:19] Yeah.

[00:53:19] It was very much like, uh, like you are my worst enemy.

[00:53:21] And she was like, who are you again?

[00:53:25] He's like, I'm so sorry for you.

[00:53:26] And he's like, I don't think about you at all.

[00:53:28] Yeah.

[00:53:29] Yeah.

[00:53:29] Yeah.

[00:53:29] This was like the NSYNC guys talking about like Justin.

[00:53:33] Hey.

[00:53:33] And they're like, uh, guys.

[00:53:37] Not really.

[00:53:41] Great.

[00:53:41] That was a good soundbite.

[00:53:43] Rob.

[00:53:44] Yeah.

[00:53:44] Yeah.

[00:53:44] No, Matt literally was brought back onto the stage to collect two L's because he got that

[00:53:49] with Angela and the way McKenzie hit him with a, well, um, it's been like, it was only 10

[00:53:56] days.

[00:53:56] That's more his fault than anything.

[00:53:58] So we'll see how it goes outside.

[00:53:59] I thought for on the fly thinking, that was a great response from MJ as well.

[00:54:03] I thought she, that was good.

[00:54:05] It truly really set that one up.

[00:54:06] Like you really want this girl to act as if like the person that she was hanging out with

[00:54:10] for 10 days and hasn't seen upwards, seen upwards of two months is going to be like the lover

[00:54:15] for life.

[00:54:15] Come on.

[00:54:15] Let's be real here.

[00:54:17] I loved Matt on this show too.

[00:54:19] Like, uh, like this was the most entertaining version of Matt I've seen in on the show so

[00:54:24] far.

[00:54:24] And I loved it.

[00:54:25] Make yourself the main character, be the Tucker.

[00:54:28] Like, that's what I want.

[00:54:29] I don't want like, I don't want you to just like sit there and be like, I mean, it was

[00:54:33] a great summer guys.

[00:54:35] I am surprised that they didn't bring up Quinn and Leah.

[00:54:38] You'd think if they really want to show a man segment or a conversation, that would be

[00:54:42] the second one to go to.

[00:54:43] I think that honestly is what I like.

[00:54:46] That's gotta be what it is because you would think that Julie might be like, Oh, I heard

[00:54:49] that, you know, like, was it Julie would Julie would have like a montage of jury house

[00:54:55] clips ready to play.

[00:54:56] If there was anything to show.

[00:54:57] That's a good point.

[00:54:59] Uh, yeah, that's too bad.

[00:55:00] But you know what?

[00:55:01] I just to say, I think Quinn did an excellent job at the round table and Taylor obviously

[00:55:06] amazing at the round table, but in regards to like, he was saying everything that I was

[00:55:11] hoping that someone would say to the jury, because it was like, he gave the thing about

[00:55:16] MJ, MJ's move being bad about Leah.

[00:55:19] He talked about Chelsea controlling things.

[00:55:22] I was like, yes, yes, Quinn.

[00:55:23] Yes.

[00:55:23] Thank you.

[00:55:24] So yeah, he did an excellent job at the round table and obviously Taylor did an excellent

[00:55:28] job as host.

[00:55:29] I wish there was more.

[00:55:30] Yes.

[00:55:31] Uh, Quinn, you know, playing the game might, might not have been, you know, what, what we,

[00:55:36] what we wanted in terms of like the representation, but Quinn on the jury represented as well.

[00:55:42] Would you think that that is the characteristics of somebody that might be good on a podcast?

[00:55:49] Yes.

[00:55:49] I think so.

[00:55:50] Yes.

[00:55:51] Amon, what you laughing at over there?

[00:55:52] Amon, what you laughing at?

[00:55:53] I'm just laughing at Taryn giving him his props for being a good jury member.

[00:55:57] I think it's funny.

[00:55:58] I just said, we can do anything on this podcast.

[00:56:02] We might not be able to train good players, but maybe we can train good jury members.

[00:56:06] I mean, this is the show, man, that, that this is the one that we're really waiting for

[00:56:11] is like whether or not Quinn is going to get his little deep dive.

[00:56:16] That's what, that's what you really want to know.

[00:56:19] I have one requirement, which is that like, uh, I just, I just went climbing with Rob.

[00:56:26] Uh, if Quinn wants a deep dive, he needs to come climbing with me.

[00:56:30] It's just, it's just kind of like, yeah.

[00:56:32] That's a requirement now.

[00:56:34] You need people.

[00:56:35] That's the pre-interview.

[00:56:37] Sorry.

[00:56:38] Yeah.

[00:56:39] I would say yes.

[00:56:40] How's your pre-interview go today?

[00:56:42] Good.

[00:56:43] Yeah.

[00:56:43] Yeah.

[00:56:44] Yeah.

[00:56:45] Honestly, like, here's the thing.

[00:56:47] I know I just said I went climbing with Rob.

[00:56:48] I'm, I'm honestly sick of people talking about like, where am I?

[00:56:53] It's just, it's honestly so frustrating.

[00:56:55] Like it's made me want to just like leave the podcast.

[00:56:58] Like I'm just so mad.

[00:57:02] What are we done with it?

[00:57:06] We've never seen anybody walk out of one panel into the next panel before.

[00:57:10] It is kind of magic.

[00:57:11] All right.

[00:57:12] I'm on your turn.

[00:57:12] Yeah.

[00:57:13] Come on.

[00:57:14] Go walk into Puyas.

[00:57:16] All right.

[00:57:19] I'll just go into Puyas over here.

[00:57:24] Okay.

[00:57:25] All right.

[00:57:26] So, all right.

[00:57:28] Let's talk about this wild scenario that unfolded.

[00:57:32] It started on Friday night when we found out that Derek Levasseur was going back undercover

[00:57:38] to shut down Ainsley.

[00:57:40] Of course, when AI goes rogue, the undercover police is what you need to stop them.

[00:57:52] And Derek was like on the streets.

[00:57:55] Was it on the streets?

[00:57:57] I felt like it looked like walking around like the back, like his own backyard.

[00:58:02] He's like the Blair Witch Project of like, I'm on the move.

[00:58:06] Ainsley is coming.

[00:58:07] I can't get word to you.

[00:58:09] I actually saw none of this.

[00:58:11] Big Brother was like on a big delay in Philly.

[00:58:16] I don't know about anybody else.

[00:58:17] Hold on.

[00:58:18] I'm on.

[00:58:19] Do you know how Derek gave his message to the house guests for the...

[00:58:24] I missed this entire segment because like I wasn't going to delay.

[00:58:27] And when I found a stream that was caught up, it was already gone.

[00:58:30] Raven was there.

[00:58:33] Are you being serious right now?

[00:58:35] Yeah.

[00:58:35] Raven gave the message.

[00:58:37] Raven gave the message.

[00:58:39] Wait.

[00:58:40] No, seriously.

[00:58:41] I'm gullible, but Melissa's taking her head.

[00:58:43] I swear on everything.

[00:58:44] I don't know what happened.

[00:58:46] I swear.

[00:58:47] Raven gave the message.

[00:58:48] This is not...

[00:58:49] We're not playing you.

[00:58:49] It's genuinely true.

[00:58:51] I'm pretty sure we have a soundbite, but I'm not sure.

[00:58:53] Well, okay.

[00:58:54] So let me just set up the soundbite.

[00:58:57] Yeah.

[00:58:57] So this is what Derek had to tell us.

[00:58:59] This channel is no longer secure, so I'll have to figure out another way to get you the mission intel.

[00:59:04] But get ready.

[00:59:05] It's time to save the world.

[00:59:06] Time to save the world.

[00:59:08] Okay.

[00:59:09] And he found out.

[00:59:10] And this is how they got the message in.

[00:59:14] A raven flies in.

[00:59:17] Like...

[00:59:18] Oh, he's going to join you, Kluya?

[00:59:22] Kluya, he's coming to you.

[00:59:23] Come in, man.

[00:59:24] Come in.

[00:59:24] Which box is the mon coming in?

[00:59:26] Where's the mon?

[00:59:30] He's just gone.

[00:59:31] Yeah.

[00:59:32] And the raven...

[00:59:35] The raven and the crow flies in.

[00:59:38] Much like the...

[00:59:40] Was it a crow that stole Victoria when she was a baby?

[00:59:43] Yeah.

[00:59:44] So that's come full circle.

[00:59:46] Wait on.

[00:59:47] Literally a raven.

[00:59:48] Derek trained the crow!

[00:59:50] It all adds up.

[00:59:52] He needed Victoria to have a story to get on King Hest on the show!

[00:59:58] Meister Lovasser.

[00:59:59] He's always one step ahead, that guy.

[01:00:02] Yeah.

[01:00:02] I just love that somehow in the tech world, the fax machine was compromised and we had to go down to raven.

[01:00:10] Yeah.

[01:00:12] Yeah.

[01:00:12] And so then...

[01:00:13] So the bird flies in and Cam says...

[01:00:17] Yo!

[01:00:17] Hold on, hold on, hold on.

[01:00:19] What in the Westeros is going on here?

[01:00:21] Now, was the word Westeros copyrighted because...

[01:00:26] I don't know.

[01:00:27] Did Cam...

[01:00:28] Did Cam nail that?

[01:00:31] What in the Westeros is going on here?

[01:00:36] I don't think he's saying Westeros, but...

[01:00:38] Westeros.

[01:00:39] He's making it two syllables.

[01:00:40] He swallowed the...

[01:00:42] Westeros.

[01:00:43] Yeah.

[01:00:44] I just wondered if that was a copyright issue.

[01:00:46] That's how you say it at the crib.

[01:00:47] I don't think so.

[01:00:48] Yeah.

[01:00:49] I think you can say Westeros.

[01:00:51] Yeah.

[01:00:52] Okay.

[01:00:53] If not, we're screwed.

[01:00:54] Westeros.

[01:00:54] When you're from a certain section, that's how you say it.

[01:00:57] Westeros.

[01:00:57] Westeros.

[01:01:00] Yeah.

[01:01:01] All right.

[01:01:01] So they had to kill Ainsley and then ultimately they're able to do a Chelsea wins part one

[01:01:09] and then they needed to destroy Ainsley's brain and then MJ destroyed Ainsley's brain

[01:01:20] and it like boiled in like a cube.

[01:01:24] Yeah.

[01:01:24] It looks like when you put one of those vitamin C tablets into water.

[01:01:29] Airborne?

[01:01:30] Yeah.

[01:01:30] But then also it splits in half.

[01:01:32] Yeah.

[01:01:33] Like she's being a torn piece of paper.

[01:01:36] It looked really good, I thought.

[01:01:38] I mean, I was pretty impressed with the budget.

[01:01:40] It's this low budget iRobot.

[01:01:43] What did I miss?

[01:01:45] No.

[01:01:45] What you missed was in the first part of the HOH comp, there were characters around

[01:01:52] the part one comp that would shoot lasers at a hole in their device that would then just

[01:01:58] shoot liquid and like on their buttocks and the back of their neck.

[01:02:03] Like it was very weird.

[01:02:04] What was actually happening is that there were just little holes in the setup and they just

[01:02:10] shoot little trickles of goo on their butts.

[01:02:17] And then, but then in the, just like this.

[01:02:21] Yeah.

[01:02:21] And then in the episode, they edited these little figures on the sides to shoot lasers as if

[01:02:28] the lasers were poking the holes with which the goo was spewing.

[01:02:33] Right.

[01:02:33] And trickling.

[01:02:34] So it would be like a lasers effect.

[01:02:37] Goo starts.

[01:02:39] I'm not trying to understand.

[01:02:41] This is so funny.

[01:02:42] It was just not a lot of.

[01:02:43] Really?

[01:02:44] Let me just let me demonstrate.

[01:02:45] It would be like.

[01:02:50] Now, Taryn, if you had a spray bottle there and you could spray Rob, that would be perfect.

[01:02:54] I mean, just say.

[01:02:56] There's a lot of equipment in here.

[01:02:58] I know.

[01:02:59] I know.

[01:03:00] I know.

[01:03:00] I can throw at him.

[01:03:01] Hold on.

[01:03:03] Slow it down.

[01:03:03] There's lasers in you on your butt and butt lasers.

[01:03:08] Yeah, just imagine it was my butt.

[01:03:10] Oh, right.

[01:03:10] Okay.

[01:03:11] Imagine Taryn's butt, everyone.

[01:03:13] Okay.

[01:03:13] That's what I was told.

[01:03:14] I can't hold that one too far.

[01:03:16] We're not really actually crazy for watching this show.

[01:03:20] This is what we.

[01:03:21] All right.

[01:03:21] We're going to document that.

[01:03:23] Yeah.

[01:03:23] Well, put that in the file.

[01:03:25] Put that in the file.

[01:03:25] Put that in the file.

[01:03:26] It's fine.

[01:03:26] Okay.

[01:03:27] All right.

[01:03:28] Let's talk about that.

[01:03:29] The first appearance of Friend of the Pod, Taylor Hale shows up for the jury roundtable.

[01:03:40] Yay.

[01:03:41] Killed it.

[01:03:41] And if you noticed the jury roundtable before we, yes, Taylor was there.

[01:03:46] That was exciting, but also exciting.

[01:03:48] Just days ago, the jury gathered on comfy blue sofas by Love Sack from CBS's premier week campaign.

[01:03:56] What?

[01:03:56] What?

[01:03:57] What?

[01:03:58] Rob, can I just, I just want to quickly say, do you see what I'm currently sitting on?

[01:04:03] This is.

[01:04:04] Yes.

[01:04:04] They get Love Sacks?

[01:04:06] Love Sacks.

[01:04:08] Wow.

[01:04:08] What a Love Sack.

[01:04:09] What a budget studio are we working with here?

[01:04:10] I don't want to Google it.

[01:04:11] Can someone tell me what Love Sacks are?

[01:04:13] It's a beanbag.

[01:04:13] I think they're going to end up on Kenny's TikTok.

[01:04:16] I don't want that.

[01:04:17] A Love Sack is a beanbag, but the name is.

[01:04:20] I don't want to get stuff on the mattress.

[01:04:21] They originally came out with beanbags, but they actually also have couches and they're

[01:04:26] modular couches.

[01:04:27] Yeah.

[01:04:27] Okay.

[01:04:27] So you can mix and match however you want.

[01:04:30] But what is this product placement?

[01:04:31] Just days ago, the jury gathered on comfy blue sofas by Love Sack from CBS's premier week

[01:04:38] campaign.

[01:04:39] What does that mean, that last part?

[01:04:41] I didn't understand from CBS's premier week campaign.

[01:04:45] I got I because I did catch this line, too, and I was very I was very apprehensive when

[01:04:51] she started promoting Love Sack.

[01:04:53] But then when she said CBS's premier week campaign, I was OK, so this is CBS internal.

[01:04:57] I was like, oh, my God, are we about to lose Big Brother to advertiser Armageddon?

[01:05:01] But no, it's just them.

[01:05:03] I guess Love Sack is sponsoring all of the shows that are premiering on CBS.

[01:05:08] That's probably what it is.

[01:05:09] Yeah, that's probably what it is.

[01:05:10] Like they had the premier week and they talked about their fall programming and then they

[01:05:15] had these same seats.

[01:05:16] It was a mouthful.

[01:05:18] Seats, baby.

[01:05:19] Yeah.

[01:05:20] I would like Love Sack to sponsor this podcast if anyone from Love Sack is watching.

[01:05:27] Yeah, I want a big blue couch.

[01:05:29] I would love to sit on your couch.

[01:05:32] I'm so glad you said couch.

[01:05:35] HR.

[01:05:36] Yes.

[01:05:38] HR.

[01:05:38] These guys.

[01:05:39] Wow.

[01:05:39] This whole podcast.

[01:05:40] It is past midnight.

[01:05:42] It is after violation.

[01:05:43] Ah!

[01:05:47] Oh, God.

[01:05:49] All right.

[01:05:49] But Taylor did a great job.

[01:05:53] Oh, yeah.

[01:05:54] We're going through our three.

[01:05:57] Our final three house guests.

[01:06:00] Got them talking about McKenzie and Chelsea and Cam.

[01:06:04] I think that probably maybe the most memorable exchange came between Taylor and Angela.

[01:06:12] Yes.

[01:06:13] And Angela was talking about some issues she had with Chelsea's game.

[01:06:19] And Taylor called her out about being maybe a little spicy or maybe a little bitter.

[01:06:29] I'm spicy.

[01:06:30] I'm spicy.

[01:06:30] Is spicy just another form of being bitter?

[01:06:32] I'm bitter, too.

[01:06:33] Yes, I'm bitter.

[01:06:35] Okay.

[01:06:36] Put I'm spicy up there with someone who says I'm quirky.

[01:06:40] I'm like, you can't describe yourself as that.

[01:06:43] You have to be given that.

[01:06:45] But I thought she told the line perfectly of it was like a very subtle shade, but it was necessary.

[01:06:52] And it kept the conversation going.

[01:06:54] It didn't tip any of the scales.

[01:06:55] I tweeted this earlier.

[01:06:56] Taylor made it seem like she's been doing this every season.

[01:07:00] Like this was such a natural baton pass to me.

[01:07:03] And I loved it.

[01:07:05] I mean, it's exactly like I think what the intended purpose of the jury roundtable host was originally.

[01:07:12] Like it started after Big Brother 14, you know, I think for very obvious reasons.

[01:07:18] And and like it's it's not to like quell a bitter jury, but to challenge them on it to like, you know, spark some more actual discussion and and conflict.

[01:07:31] If they are bitter, let's talk about it.

[01:07:34] You know, like let's let's call it what it is.

[01:07:36] Can you own it?

[01:07:38] You know, can you own the vag that you're bitter about something that you did?

[01:07:42] If so, feel, you know, feel free.

[01:07:44] And honestly, you don't even have to.

[01:07:45] But but there's somebody there that's going to challenge you and it's going to like force you to really think about other perspectives.

[01:07:50] And I think that that's a really fun thing to do.

[01:07:52] And I think that Taylor is a great person to do it because it's what she was so good at doing when she played the game.

[01:07:58] And obviously she was such a fantastic host.

[01:08:00] I think that doesn't come as a surprise at all.

[01:08:03] And it was super awesome to see her do it.

[01:08:06] Yeah.

[01:08:06] I'm proud.

[01:08:08] Very happy for her.

[01:08:09] I mean, obviously, I mean, she's she's talked about how she's wanted to be like an entertainment reporter for like the longest time.

[01:08:15] And, you know, she's obviously a pageant queen and winner.

[01:08:17] And, you know, this is right up her alley.

[01:08:20] And I like the fact that, you know, she's in this with us.

[01:08:23] You know what I mean?

[01:08:24] Like she's she's been watching along with us.

[01:08:27] And like we all love Dr. Will, but sometimes you're like, bro, were you watching or are you here?

[01:08:33] Yeah.

[01:08:34] Dr. Will, were you watching?

[01:08:35] Not really.

[01:08:36] I feel like, yeah, I feel like, look, as much as I love Dr. Will, it does feel like he's kind of been removed from this the past few seasons.

[01:08:45] Like he just has an old tattoo and invested in it.

[01:08:48] I feel like he he is kind of just doing it to going through the motions, just doing it.

[01:08:55] But I feel like Taylor like actually cares.

[01:08:57] And so to me, I appreciate that.

[01:09:01] And I love how Taylor has been so involved in the community ever since her win.

[01:09:06] Like it's just she's just part of it.

[01:09:08] She's just in it with all of us.

[01:09:10] And so to see someone like that go and like, you know, represent Big Brother in that way, it feels so like good.

[01:09:19] It feels like I'm proud of Big Brother.

[01:09:22] Like it's kind of cool to have her like go out there and represent the show.

[01:09:26] And so it's fresh.

[01:09:27] Yeah.

[01:09:27] And to have her, you know, hosting the roundtable, like I feel like I mean, maybe with the way it's edited, we obviously don't see everything.

[01:09:35] But I feel like comfortable that the host her as the host represented the fans in a good way and like hopefully got them talking about things that we would hope that they would talk about.

[01:09:48] Like we don't know how how many questions were asked.

[01:09:51] We don't know how long the roundtable actually went for.

[01:09:53] But I do feel confident in Taylor that she would represent us well.

[01:09:57] She did a great job.

[01:09:59] I would like to, though, I feel like this jury was could have been a little spicier that, you know, they didn't really have too many issues with anybody in the final three.

[01:10:14] And I feel like that really between the finalists and the people who made it this far into the game, there wasn't really a lot of animosity between which which is nice.

[01:10:23] But also like, you know, we're kind of watching a reality show.

[01:10:26] So they barely fought for their own games.

[01:10:29] Yeah, I'm just saying like a little like it would be nice.

[01:10:33] A little bit of like, you know, somebody coming in with like some kind of like, you know, a hard question for somebody or somebody rolling their eyes at an answer or something.

[01:10:44] Rubina gave the cameras a look during MJ's final speech.

[01:10:47] Oh, can we talk about when Chelsea was answering her first question and the camera randomly panned to Julie for five seconds and it just made no sense for any reason?

[01:10:58] I missed that.

[01:11:00] How could you?

[01:11:01] It was wild.

[01:11:03] But no, I mean, Rob, this is you, you know, by the way, great job on the recap of the recap pod.

[01:11:08] That was a good time.

[01:11:10] Rob, this is the cast that's been singing along with each other this whole time.

[01:11:13] Like, yeah, I was getting ready to say this is the thing.

[01:11:16] Like when they when they really like each other.

[01:11:18] Yeah, it's going to be hard to get those moments.

[01:11:20] And then a lot of the friction went out in the prejury.

[01:11:23] Yeah.

[01:11:23] And look, and that's probably like a testament to Chelsea, who's at the top of all of this.

[01:11:29] And like, you know, sending people out and everybody's having good feelings.

[01:11:32] Even they're losing the game, they're losing their shot at the money and they're still loving it.

[01:11:38] And so, you know, what are you going to what are you going to do?

[01:11:41] But, you know, a little bit more like spiciness.

[01:11:46] The comparisons to BB16 were very apropos here because of the fact that like back then it was a little kumbaya, say for a few people that would fight.

[01:11:56] They had some spiciness in that jury.

[01:11:56] I was going to say, like, you know, say for a few people that were going back and forth were tussling.

[01:12:02] But those were sort of like isolated incidents.

[01:12:05] And I feel like BB26 is sort of in a similar vein to that, you know, mostly everybody got along.

[01:12:10] Everyone was sort of like, you know, amicable with one another.

[01:12:14] And, you know, right on down to Chelsea winning.

[01:12:16] Like this was probably like one of the like I think it's probably one of the first times that I've seen the winner be able to just like really tearfully hug almost every single person in the cast.

[01:12:26] And there's like no there's like no ill will.

[01:12:29] But like other winners is always like a little there's like a little friction is like a little I gave you my vote.

[01:12:34] But like I don't really I don't really bang with you like that.

[01:12:36] But with Chelsea, it was just like, oh, my God, everyone.

[01:12:39] Yeah.

[01:12:40] J.A.N.K.I.E.

[01:12:42] Come on.

[01:12:42] Julie finally got her way.

[01:12:45] Yeah.

[01:12:46] Made such a big meal out of the resurrection of janky at the end of the season.

[01:12:52] And look, they've done things like that, like a nice little touch.

[01:12:55] Was it Big Brother 4 when the mime was back in the house?

[01:12:59] There is like at the end of the finale and they do like a nice little touch.

[01:13:02] And I know it's a two hour episode, but we didn't need the whole reprise of janky world.

[01:13:10] I want to let it let it end on the America's favorite player thing and just let it let it go.

[01:13:15] I thought for sure it was going to be the announcement of reindeer games, too.

[01:13:21] I thought for sure.

[01:13:23] And now his little janky ass on that screen.

[01:13:27] I was so pissed.

[01:13:27] Julie is so into it.

[01:13:30] Oh, my God.

[01:13:31] I'm so over it.

[01:13:32] I'm so I will say that I I did really like the top three America's favorite player.

[01:13:38] I feel like every year there's usually like one person in there that it's like the casuals are voting them in.

[01:13:43] And everyone else is like, oh, God, really?

[01:13:45] But this year I felt like, yeah, those were the top three.

[01:13:48] That makes sense.

[01:13:49] Tucker, Angela Quinn.

[01:13:51] Yeah.

[01:13:52] Being the third person.

[01:13:54] I feel like people were really on me when I was saying I felt like Quinn had a chance at top three during his eviction because he really did get that like hero edit on the way out.

[01:14:04] He had a great recap of the recap, too.

[01:14:07] Mm hmm.

[01:14:07] Mm hmm.

[01:14:08] You know, I mean, he was one of the bigger personalities on the season and knowing how big of a fan he is, you know, in that moment, because he has no idea what's going on for 90 days.

[01:14:18] I feel like that's the validation you're looking for.

[01:14:20] I was like, I did something.

[01:14:21] I love my mark.

[01:14:22] Can I ask a question?

[01:14:23] OK, so Quinn votes.

[01:14:24] So we'll come back for AFP.

[01:14:25] But he he votes when he votes for Chelsea.

[01:14:27] I am voting for the most diabolical, sick, nasty player of the season.

[01:14:32] Now, was sick, nasty something that came out of his mouth often?

[01:14:38] Yes.

[01:14:39] Mm hmm.

[01:14:40] There's nobody saying to him like, hey, sick, nasty is your catchphrase.

[01:14:43] He he's he said sick, nasty a lot.

[01:14:46] Yeah.

[01:14:47] It was already part of the grander speech as well.

[01:14:51] Uh, but but yeah, he definitely sick, nasty is a thing of his for sure.

[01:14:55] OK, well, sick, nasty for Quinn that he ends up top three for AFP.

[01:15:00] Now, again, we don't get the exit polls on this.

[01:15:04] Was was it like 82 percent Tucker, 16 percent Angela, whatever's left for Quinn?

[01:15:13] I could see that.

[01:15:14] But I mean, my dad did say I only like Quinn when I asked him who he likes this season.

[01:15:20] So the Melissa family reunion poll here is 30 percent.

[01:15:23] Literally, my mom was all about Tucker.

[01:15:26] My dad was all about Quinn.

[01:15:28] But then when it came down to it and I said, who would you vote for America's favorite player?

[01:15:32] They both said Tucker.

[01:15:33] And I was like, but dad, you said you only liked Quinn.

[01:15:35] And he was like, yeah, but I would vote for Tucker.

[01:15:38] Yeah.

[01:15:38] I don't know.

[01:15:40] Tucker was all over the apply for Big Brother commercial.

[01:15:48] It was genuinely the apply for Big Brother commercial was, are you Tucker or Angela?

[01:15:56] If so, we need more of this.

[01:15:59] This is about to be like the casting producers.

[01:16:02] Come on, you apply for Big Brother.

[01:16:05] You'll be like me.

[01:16:06] You're going to have a bunch of people walking up in there saying, I got that dog in me, bro.

[01:16:12] So I honestly, my favorite Tucker moment from the finale was him being like, I screwed that one up.

[01:16:20] I'm sorry.

[01:16:22] I said I don't listen.

[01:16:24] You said.

[01:16:27] Listen, put it in Sharpie.

[01:16:31] That man is going to be back on this show in the next four years.

[01:16:34] I was about to say, because Taren was talking about being Chelsea back as well.

[01:16:40] Like, you know, we talked a lot about like, once again, Big Brother 16 and how that, you know, has a lot of returnees and multiple winners.

[01:16:48] I really feel like BB26 could be the new BB16.

[01:16:51] We might see a lot of people from this cast just pop back up in some capacity and some form of fashion because everyone is relatively inoffensive.

[01:16:58] And it was a decent season.

[01:17:00] Like, you know, you know, and and they wanted to do more stuff.

[01:17:04] With with Zach.

[01:17:06] And I think that, you know, there's all sorts of like confirmed and unconfirmed allegedly stories about like they wanted him to do stuff.

[01:17:13] And then there were problems where like that he wasn't necessarily the easiest person to work with.

[01:17:20] So if Tucker can learn from those lessons, like he could be on a hundred shows.

[01:17:26] Yeah.

[01:17:27] I mean, that's like if they don't scoop him up for something else, like he could easily end up on like three other shows before that Big Brother call up easily.

[01:17:34] For sure.

[01:17:37] I got to play a hardball, Cedric.

[01:17:41] Yeah, I'm happy the suppression is still there, Rob, because you still got it.

[01:17:44] We need this for the future.

[01:17:48] Hey, everybody.

[01:17:52] Everybody.

[01:17:54] There's something wrong with that, man.

[01:17:58] This might be just me.

[01:18:00] I'm a sucker for react content.

[01:18:02] And we got the charcuterie moment, which was great.

[01:18:06] I feel like we were missing out on some.

[01:18:07] We could have definitely skimmed and then showed them some stuff that they've not seen yet.

[01:18:11] I love watching.

[01:18:12] Yeah.

[01:18:12] I love when they get to see like moments on TV and all that.

[01:18:16] We haven't seen them watch.

[01:18:18] I don't think that Angela was any convinced about like, I guess she said she forgave Brooklyn, but she still seemed pretty annoyed.

[01:18:26] She's not going to Utah.

[01:18:27] She's not going to Utah.

[01:18:29] I mean, talking about like defense lawyers, like Brooklyn came in like ready.

[01:18:35] She's like, it was not just me.

[01:18:37] In fact, it wasn't even my idea, officer.

[01:18:40] It was them.

[01:18:43] They asked me for it.

[01:18:44] And I didn't even, I'm sorry, but I didn't even know better.

[01:18:48] Like, I don't know why I'm taking the heat for this.

[01:18:50] But it's like, what?

[01:18:51] That was so interesting to me because she was like, oh, well, Leah asked me if we could do a charcuterie board.

[01:18:57] And I said, yes, I said, why didn't Leah come to you about somebody else's cheese?

[01:19:02] Like, were you out here purporting that you know how to make charcuterie boards?

[01:19:05] Fellow married mom.

[01:19:07] Like, come on.

[01:19:09] It's a line of custody, the charcuterie boards.

[01:19:12] It just goes to the next married mom in the line of succession.

[01:19:18] I'm glad we cleared that up.

[01:19:20] I get why you wouldn't know, yeah.

[01:19:22] Mm-hmm.

[01:19:23] Okay.

[01:19:28] Tough story about Joseph that he got so impacted by the hurricane.

[01:19:34] I had no idea.

[01:19:35] Mm-hmm.

[01:19:36] Yeah, they opened the pre-jury segment with that.

[01:19:40] And then I was like, I just, Julia's heart is obviously going to be in the right place in this.

[01:19:45] Like, she is a empathetic person.

[01:19:47] And I just felt very awkward at the idea of how she's going to segue us out of this.

[01:19:52] Um, I just didn't know where that was going to go.

[01:19:54] Yes.

[01:19:55] Um, well, she's the master of the segue as, uh, she ends up closing the, uh, pre-jury segment with like,

[01:20:03] and by the way, there are nine of you and you're the only nine people in the country who don't know who's running for president.

[01:20:11] Okay.

[01:20:12] What I loved about this, I said this on the stream, is that when she says this, that you are the only nine people in America that don't know who's running for president.

[01:20:21] It's been a meme all season that MJ says, I'm aware, right?

[01:20:25] MJ and Chelsea are nodding like, yes, obviously we don't know who's running for president.

[01:20:32] They're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course.

[01:20:34] We don't know who's running for president.

[01:20:36] Oh God.

[01:20:38] Yes.

[01:20:39] Uh, and Julie ends up giving the reveal that, okay, it's actually Joe Biden is not in the race.

[01:20:47] And Kamala Harris is running for president.

[01:20:51] And they're like, oh my God.

[01:20:53] And Tucker's like, and wait until you hear some other stuff.

[01:20:57] And that's what we've got for you today.

[01:21:00] Hey, everybody.

[01:21:03] The way she sped out of there to be like, yes, the, the more is you can make sure you register to vote.

[01:21:09] Go check that out.

[01:21:10] That's the more.

[01:21:11] Yeah.

[01:21:13] Which is unfortunate because Tucker was about to talk about our live show in New York.

[01:21:17] It was so close.

[01:21:19] That's definitely what was going to come up.

[01:21:20] That was.

[01:21:20] Yeah.

[01:21:21] Cause what I think what was going to come up, I think we all know what it was.

[01:21:23] Cause they tried that with Matt that first week and then did not bring it up again to any houseguests leaving out.

[01:21:30] They're like, that's not going to make sense.

[01:21:32] Like that's not going to work.

[01:21:32] Let's not.

[01:21:33] Yeah.

[01:21:34] I feel like you have to start with that first.

[01:21:36] If you're going to do that and then go into, cause then it's like a build of like, oh my God.

[01:21:41] Like what is going on?

[01:21:42] But like this whole segment, I was just like, this is, I don't know.

[01:21:47] It just made me really, really.

[01:21:48] They can tell people one-on-one.

[01:21:50] I was like, this can go really, really south because then people, depending on how someone reacts to the news, it could be good or bad.

[01:21:57] It's also, it's, I think it's a tough thing to like reveal to people because the second you like start talking about it, you're like, wait, what?

[01:22:04] And then it's like, no, but it's okay.

[01:22:05] Like it didn't.

[01:22:06] And it's just, it starts to get very messy.

[01:22:08] I think.

[01:22:09] I feel like the only one that really works in terms of like political news is the announcement of the actual president.

[01:22:15] Because that is like, you know, that was the nail biter.

[01:22:18] Or 2016 was crazy, but I don't think we're going to see that again.

[01:22:21] Like it's just, it doesn't hold the same water.

[01:22:23] I don't think anymore.

[01:22:25] Well, they're also just like, I, I'm still frustrated.

[01:22:27] I felt like they lingered on Julie for too long.

[01:22:29] By the time they switched over to like other people, it was this very long, uh, far away shot.

[01:22:35] Which was fine.

[01:22:36] At least I got to see everybody, but it was so brief.

[01:22:38] Um, and it's just, I did not feel like I got a good.

[01:22:41] The point is to see the reactions.

[01:22:43] Yeah.

[01:22:43] Not to see Julie say it.

[01:22:45] So like, it didn't really, it didn't.

[01:22:47] I feel like the, the announcement back in 2016 on OTT, when they announced the winner of the election, like that was like, so I feel like they were trying to recreate that, but it just didn't land.

[01:22:59] You know, I feel like this year, especially on the edited show, they've done, they've perfected the art of this is the Alliance and have seven different squares with seven different people.

[01:23:12] How could you not have four frames on the, on the TV screen for me to see like the pre-jury reaction, jury action, McKenzie and Chelsea's reaction.

[01:23:20] It's right there.

[01:23:21] Come on now.

[01:23:22] That's not.

[01:23:25] No, apparently not.

[01:23:27] Not for a live show.

[01:23:28] At least.

[01:23:28] Yeah.

[01:23:29] Okay.

[01:23:31] All right.

[01:23:31] Anything else from our two hour finale?

[01:23:34] It was good.

[01:23:35] I mean, it was, I feel like it was a good result.

[01:23:40] I thought that it was maybe not as exciting as some of the other finales we've seen, but I was pleased and I wasn't surprised at anything, but you know, I think it was a good result and I'm glad that Chelsea pulled out a win.

[01:23:55] Mm hmm.

[01:23:56] Yeah.

[01:23:56] Yeah.

[01:23:57] Not everything in our universe has to have a shocking result.

[01:24:03] Yeah.

[01:24:04] Yeah.

[01:24:04] It's true.

[01:24:04] Sometimes we can expect the expected and it's fine.

[01:24:08] It was a good expected.

[01:24:10] Yeah.

[01:24:11] Yeah.

[01:24:12] Yeah.

[01:24:12] Most of the time we expect the expected and it's a bad expected.

[01:24:15] At least it was a good expected.

[01:24:31] Okay.

[01:24:31] Wait, hold on.

[01:24:32] Wait, hold on.

[01:24:32] We are missing.

[01:24:34] What are you saying?

[01:24:36] Well, like I've been, I've always been like the contrarian.

[01:24:39] Like I've always been that way.

[01:24:41] Like being a, like, I'm like, like back when it was like Derek and Cody, like I was pissed at Cody for weeks.

[01:24:46] Like I couldn't get out of bed in the morning.

[01:24:48] And now I'm like, yes, Chelsea, you better take the damn thing home.

[01:24:54] That was just, you know, a personal growth for me.

[01:24:58] Yeah.

[01:24:58] Yeah.

[01:24:59] Okay.

[01:25:01] All right.

[01:25:07] Sorry, that was just my mom 10 years ago impression.

[01:25:11] It's an angry Donald duck.

[01:25:15] All right.

[01:25:17] All right.

[01:25:18] Well, let me tell you a little bit.

[01:25:19] Let's see.

[01:25:20] What do we have coming up here?

[01:25:23] Let me see.

[01:25:24] We have that live show coming up on Wednesday.

[01:25:29] Okay.

[01:25:30] So very limited tickets are available.

[01:25:34] Go to, uh, robinswebsite.com slash NYC 47.

[01:25:39] That's why Julie was trying to stop Tucker from advertising it.

[01:25:42] She wanted to say, she wanted those tickets for herself.

[01:25:46] Yeah.

[01:25:46] Typical.

[01:25:47] Typical.

[01:25:48] All right.

[01:25:48] Uh, we've got a project that we've been working on about the 10 year anniversary of Survivor Kageyan.

[01:25:54] Uh, we're coming to Amon's neck of the woods on October 28th.

[01:25:58] 28th for the world premiere in Philly.

[01:26:01] If you want to be there with us in person, go to robinswebsite.com slash Kageyan screening.

[01:26:06] October 28th is the premiere of that.

[01:26:09] Of course, uh, it was a big week of Survivor.

[01:26:12] Uh, best episode of the season.

[01:26:13] Check out all of our coverage over at we know survivor.com.

[01:26:18] Then Taryn, they aired another encore presentation of the summit on Friday night.

[01:26:24] In case it wasn't enough to watch a man be murdered once.

[01:26:29] Oh my God.

[01:26:30] We had to watch it twice.

[01:26:31] Manu Bennett hosts the summit.

[01:26:33] Manu Bennett.

[01:26:35] I think that's such a funny advertising for the summit because does anybody know who Manu Bennett is without seeing his face?

[01:26:43] And even if you see his face, I don't know.

[01:26:44] Like, did you watch Spartacus?

[01:26:46] I don't know.

[01:26:46] I did not.

[01:26:48] But so, well, luckily now, you know, Manu Bennett hosts the summit.

[01:26:52] Yeah.

[01:26:52] Check it out.

[01:26:53] Okay.

[01:26:54] Check that out.

[01:26:55] Taryn and Chappelle host the summit recap.

[01:26:58] Go to we know the summit.com.

[01:27:00] All right.

[01:27:00] And then over house of villains, uh, kicked off two episodes.

[01:27:04] Plus we spoke with Mr.

[01:27:06] Spectacular to talk about the brand new season.

[01:27:09] Jenny and Chappelle have the coverage of the house of villains.

[01:27:12] Go to we know villains.com for that.

[01:27:15] Yeah.

[01:27:15] What's going on over the traders?

[01:27:17] Canada.

[01:27:18] Well, it's been very, very, very fun ride so far.

[01:27:21] They are very chaotic.

[01:27:23] This cast, they're going at each other off little to no evidence.

[01:27:27] And every, the dramas peak Netta is killing it so far.

[01:27:32] It's been very fun to see Netta back on our TV screens.

[01:27:34] So nothing but positive things for me to say.

[01:27:36] And we're live every week, every Monday night tonight.

[01:27:40] No, no one got Netta'd.

[01:27:41] And I think we're, we're thankful for that outcome.

[01:27:44] We're okay with it.

[01:27:46] Yep.

[01:27:47] Okay.

[01:27:48] All right.

[01:27:49] Uh, check that out.

[01:27:50] And then over on Patreon, of course, uh, we've got all of our patron content, perhaps

[01:27:57] an off season slop pending some, uh, sloppy, uh, off season news, uh, will be coming.

[01:28:03] We'll keep you posted about that.

[01:28:05] And then, uh, we will be with the patrons on Tuesday night for a big in-person patron meetup

[01:28:11] in New York city.

[01:28:12] All of the info is available on Patreon.

[01:28:15] Go to Rob's website.com slash patron for that.

[01:28:19] Can you believe it?

[01:28:20] We made it through another season from the draft to here.

[01:28:24] Look at us.

[01:28:26] Okay.

[01:28:26] We did it guys.

[01:28:27] We did it.

[01:28:28] Uh, let's start with the winner.

[01:28:29] Of course.

[01:28:30] Uh, Melissa, how many drafts have you won?

[01:28:33] I think two, two big brother drafts.

[01:28:37] Well, two out of three, right?

[01:28:38] You had Taylor.

[01:28:40] Did I have Taylor?

[01:28:41] I did have Taylor.

[01:28:43] You did have Taylor.

[01:28:44] Oh, wow.

[01:28:44] With this combination of people.

[01:28:46] Yeah.

[01:28:47] Melissa's won 24 and 26.

[01:28:49] Look at you.

[01:28:50] And you know, I also got America's favorite player, Tucker.

[01:28:56] So, you know, and I got Taylor.

[01:28:59] I'm just saying, I'm just saying I got both winners and America's favorite players.

[01:29:03] That's really important.

[01:29:04] You let, don't let them take this from you, Melissa.

[01:29:08] You've got it.

[01:29:08] But if you consider average draft placement, I think, which is like a, I think a very

[01:29:13] important stat that we should be looking at really closely.

[01:29:16] Um, you know, getting three people in the final five.

[01:29:20] It's pretty good.

[01:29:22] Cam and Mackenzie.

[01:29:24] Come on.

[01:29:25] Listen, I'm very happy with my drafting strategy.

[01:29:27] The game is still broken and I was able to, all MJ needs to do is want to win and it's

[01:29:32] mine.

[01:29:33] You know what I mean?

[01:29:34] So since BB 23 with this combination of people, Melissa's won two.

[01:29:41] I've won two.

[01:29:42] Rob's won two with BB can Taryn.

[01:29:44] You've won one.

[01:29:45] I'm on.

[01:29:45] How many of you won?

[01:29:47] Oh, I have one with Tyshawn and BB can nine.

[01:29:51] That that's before this group though.

[01:29:53] They don't count.

[01:29:54] Okay.

[01:29:54] What, what is this, uh, this grouping going on?

[01:29:57] Uh, I mean, prior to this group, just so you know, I mean, listen, weaker, weaker

[01:30:03] competition, perhaps.

[01:30:04] I don't know what to tell you, Taryn.

[01:30:06] Okay.

[01:30:06] Are we making this argument?

[01:30:08] Uh, I don't know.

[01:30:09] Cause I don't know.

[01:30:10] I have on good authority.

[01:30:11] Is we making a weaker competition argument in the world of Chelsea?

[01:30:15] We are not doing that.

[01:30:16] That's not our stance on things.

[01:30:18] That's not our stance on things.

[01:30:18] That's not our stance on things.

[01:30:18] No, that's not my stance there at all, but I'm just making the joke.

[01:30:22] Um, yeah.

[01:30:22] I don't know.

[01:30:23] I don't know.

[01:30:24] I'm tasting like, like sour grape.

[01:30:30] Like all of their people out first.

[01:30:32] Hmm.

[01:30:33] Damn.

[01:30:33] Okay.

[01:30:34] Yeah.

[01:30:34] But then also had the final two and BB 23.

[01:30:37] Okay.

[01:30:38] One final two and BB 24 and one last season.

[01:30:41] But she didn't win though.

[01:30:43] And that's all that matters.

[01:30:46] Congratulations to Melissa.

[01:30:47] The voice of the people.

[01:30:48] I think we can all agree that I am the one true winner and that I'm the best.

[01:30:53] So I think we can all agree on that.

[01:30:55] I agree.

[01:30:56] All hail Queen Melissa.

[01:30:59] Chelsea.

[01:30:59] Chelsea was an inspired choice.

[01:31:01] You know winners at that as well.

[01:31:02] I love it.

[01:31:03] Okay.

[01:31:04] All right.

[01:31:04] Congratulations, Melissa.

[01:31:05] Okay.

[01:31:06] Pouya, what else is coming up for you?

[01:31:09] Is that from Traders Canada?

[01:31:10] I'm still talking 90 day fiance.

[01:31:12] Chappelle is actually joining me this week to talk about this latest episode.

[01:31:15] This season has been very fun.

[01:31:16] So if you check that out.

[01:31:18] Taryn and I finished talking about the circle.

[01:31:20] We got an interview in last week, which is a lot of fun.

[01:31:23] And me and Liana, it's our last ride on the mass singer.

[01:31:25] We're talking about season 12.

[01:31:26] So far, so fun.

[01:31:28] But yeah, check those out.

[01:31:29] If you're, if you're looking for me on podcasts, otherwise twitch.tv slash Pouya or at Pouyaism

[01:31:33] on Twitter.

[01:31:34] Okay.

[01:31:35] Great job tonight.

[01:31:36] Pouya.

[01:31:36] Aman, you've matured.

[01:31:38] You're not screaming anymore.

[01:31:41] Watching the finale.

[01:31:45] Yes.

[01:31:45] Yes.

[01:31:46] Um, I, it was fantastic.

[01:31:48] This is, uh, always great.

[01:31:50] I can't believe you have to wait a whole year for more big brother.

[01:31:53] There's no big brother in Canada.

[01:31:54] There's no reindeer games.

[01:31:56] There's nothing.

[01:31:57] So, but I do have a big brother related podcast with Matt Liguori, where we've been putting

[01:32:03] all these players head to head in six rounds or six players in each episode.

[01:32:08] Three will come out as we determine the best big brother player of all time, whatever that

[01:32:12] ends up meeting over at the diary room.

[01:32:14] So if you still need some big brother fix ins, you can find us over there.

[01:32:18] Okay.

[01:32:18] All right.

[01:32:19] Great job.

[01:32:20] Aman, Taryn.

[01:32:21] Yes.

[01:32:22] Uh, it might be, it might be a year until big brother's here again, but there's, there's

[01:32:26] three things.

[01:32:27] There's three, three options I want to give you.

[01:32:29] Right.

[01:32:29] Because, uh, I don't go away.

[01:32:33] Unfortunately for the world, I guess, uh, during when big brother's not on, uh, I'm still,

[01:32:38] I'm still here just kind of making stuff.

[01:32:40] Um, he's literally here.

[01:32:42] Yeah.

[01:32:44] Uh, so there's, there's three places.

[01:32:46] One obviously is Twitch.

[01:32:47] I talk about Twitch all the time.

[01:32:48] You can hang out with me on Twitch.

[01:32:49] I'm still watching survivor, watching episodes of things, playing games.

[01:32:53] You can always find me on Twitch.

[01:32:55] I'm doing stuff.

[01:32:56] I'm you can ask me questions there.

[01:32:57] I'm, I'm chatting with you, but if you're, if you're prone to podcasts and if you want

[01:33:01] to find me on Twitch, just go there.

[01:33:02] Twitch.tv slash Taryn Armstrong, hit the follow button.

[01:33:05] And then I'll, I name my stream.

[01:33:07] So if it's something you're not interested in, you don't have to click on it.

[01:33:09] But if it's something you are interested in, you'll be notified.

[01:33:12] Um, number two, there are other shows that we're covering like the summit.

[01:33:17] Uh, jet lag is running, uh, you know, uh, every other, every couple of months.

[01:33:21] So that's always fun.

[01:33:22] There's all kinds of shows we're doing here on, we know reality TV.

[01:33:26] And then number three, uh, this is a big one too.

[01:33:29] We know scripted TV.

[01:33:30] I've talked about the tastemakers.

[01:33:32] I'm going to be doing that on a weekly basis.

[01:33:34] Uh, talking about other TV.

[01:33:36] That's not big brother.

[01:33:38] That's scripted.

[01:33:38] I watch a lot of that stuff, especially when big brother's not on.

[01:33:41] We talk about news.

[01:33:42] We talk about what's worth watching, what you should be checking out.

[01:33:45] Uh, I do that with grace.

[01:33:46] It's very, very fun.

[01:33:47] People call it an underrated podcast.

[01:33:49] Cause not enough people are listening to it.

[01:33:50] Or are you listening to my podcast?

[01:33:52] It's a good question.

[01:33:53] We know scripted TV.

[01:33:54] I know it's, I know it's hard to find the tastemakers specific thing, but we're trying

[01:33:57] to label it better.

[01:33:58] Okay.

[01:33:58] We're trying anyway, find the tastemakers.

[01:34:01] Uh, it's a great podcast.

[01:34:04] Um, and, uh, and it's going to be those three things, Twitch here, tastemakers.

[01:34:11] We know scripted TV.

[01:34:12] One of those three things, two of those three things, three of those three things.

[01:34:15] Just don't do zero of those three things or I will disappear like Ainsley.

[01:34:19] Oh my God.

[01:34:20] Okay.

[01:34:22] That's it.

[01:34:23] All right.

[01:34:23] Taryn, great job.

[01:34:25] You can sleep in tomorrow.

[01:34:27] Okay.

[01:34:28] Well, I got to record the tastemakers.

[01:34:29] Oh, well, okay.

[01:34:31] So much for that.

[01:34:32] All right.

[01:34:34] And, uh, we also, uh, appreciate everybody who was with us all season long.

[01:34:40] Uh, we will do our best to, uh, keep this big brother podcast feed as active as possible

[01:34:47] between now and when there is more big brother proper out there for you.

[01:34:52] So thank you so much for joining us all season long.

[01:34:55] We'd love to read your comments, keep them coming and be sure to check out everything else

[01:35:00] we have going on, on all the other reality shows here on RHAP.

[01:35:04] Take care, everybody.

[01:35:05] Have a good one.

[01:35:06] Good night.
